A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The Jew is the emblem of eternity. He whom neither slaughter nor torture
over thousands of years could destroy. . . he who was the first to
produce the oracles of GOD, he who has been for so long the guardian of
prophecy, and transmitted it to the rest of the world such a
nation cannot be destroyed. The Jew is everlasting as eternity itself.
[-Leo Tolstoy]

ONE BODY IN MESSIAH
"For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of
that one body, being many, are one body, so also is MESSIAH (CHRIST
JESUS). For by one SPIRIT we were all baptized into one body
whether Jew or Gentile (Greek), whether slaves or free and have
all been made to drink into one SPIRIT." [1 Corinthians 12. 12 - 13]

"For you are all sons of GOD through faith in YESHUA. There is neither
Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male
nor female; for you are all one in MESSIAH YESHUA." [Galatians 3. 26,
28]

The statement "there is neither Jew nor Greek...neither male nor
female...all are one in JESUS" relates back to Faith and indicates that
all races, classes, and both sexes are equal in rights and privileges
relative to gospel benefits, that ALMIGHTY HEAVENLY FATHER does not
recognize one above the other all are one body in YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH.

However, this same verse does tell that within the body of MESSIAH there
is both Jew and Gentile, master and slave, male and female. One does
not change his ancestry, descent, position in life, or sex by receiving
the MESSIAH into their heart. Nothing can divest a Jew of his physical
identity.

One who is not Jewish who has accepted the LORD JESUS, remains a Gentile
but now a believer. A Jew, accepting the LORD YESHUA, remains a Jew but
now a believer. Both Jew and Gentile keep their earthly distinctions
even as bond and free, male and female keep theirs. Their unity is in
the SPIRIT they are one in MESSIAH the KING by Faith.

"For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that
which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and
circumcision is that of the heart, in the SPIRIT, not in the letter;
whose praise is not from men but from GOD." [Romans 2. 28 - 29]

This passage is found in a Jewish Context in the book of Romans. Paul
was not speaking to the Gentiles here but to Jews who were trusting in
the fact that they were Jews, "Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on
the Law, and make your boast in GOD." [Romans 2. 17] He is describing
the True Jew who is one not only outwardly, but inwardly. Paul does not
boast in his religion or the fact he is a Jew there is no pride of
race or grace in MESSIAH YESHUA but he counts all that as loss and
his trust now is in the Lord Jesus as we find in the words of Paul
again:

"For we are the circumcision, who worship GOD in the spirit, rejoice
in CHRIST JESUS, and have no CONFIDENCE IN THE flesh, though I also
might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have
confidence in the flesh, I more so." Then Paul explains what it is
about the "flesh" in which he could trust: "Circumcised the eighth day,
of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the
Hebrews; concerning the Law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting
the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the Law,
blameless."

Now Paul is counting as unnecessary and vain all those things of the
flesh in which he could have trusted: "But what things were gain to me,
these I have counted loss for CHRIST (MESSIAH YESHUA). Yet indeed I also
count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of CHRIST
JESUS my LORD, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and
count them as rubbish, that I may gain CHRIST and be found in HIM, not
having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is
through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from GOD by faith."
[Philippians 3. 3 - 9] Thus, our spiritual duties must be our own
hearts actions, not boasting in our human bloodline, but in CHRIST JESUS
alone.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel !
The LORD will be a SHELTER for HIS people, and the STRENGTH of the
children of Israel , and they shall all know HIM.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
May the memory of the past impress us with the duty to remain faithful
to our heritage and to be mindful of our obligations.

TISHA B'AV
"By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat, sat and wept, as we thought of
Zion. There on the poplars we hung up our lyres, for our captors asked
us there for songs of joy, our tormentors, for amusement, "Sing us one
of the songs of Zion." How can we sing a song of the LORD on foreign
soil?" [Psalms (Tehillym) 137. 1 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

One of the major fast days in Jewish tradition, and a day of historic
mourning in Jewish life is the Ninth of Av. Tisha B'Av is more like a
death than a destruction, because on that day the world changed
irrevocably. The world without the Holy Temple is not the same world
minus one magnificent structure. The world without the Holy Temple is a
totally different world. The Holy Temple was the place ALMIGHTY GOD
chose to meet with HIS people. There the DIVINE PRESENCE manifested
HIMSELF. When the Temple was destroyed, the fragrance of the HOLY ONE
was removed, thus it was a loss as real and as searing as death.

This is a fast day second in importance to the Day of Atonement (Yom
Kippur) in the Jewish year. It is the day of mourning for the
destruction of both Temples. And, it once was kept in remembrance of
the day in the year 558 BCE (Before Common Era/BCE Before
CHRIST/BC) when the mighty forces of the Babylonian armies under
Nebuchadnezzar laid waste Jerusalem and slaughtered many of its
inhabitants enslaving and exiling the survivors. Also, according to
tradition [Taan 4. 4 Jewish Encyclopedia] the decree concerning Israel's
forty years of wandering in the wilderness was made on the Ninth of Av.

On the Ninth of Av in the year 70 CE (Common Era After Death/AD)
the Romans swooped down on Jerusalem and destroyed the Second Temple and
almost annihilated the nation of Israel. Tisha b'Av today commemorates
the destruction of the Second Temple rather than that of the First,
recognizing the fact that the second destruction was the greater
catastrophe for the Jewish people. It is marked as "A Day of National
Gloom." In the synagogues the Book of Lamentations is recited to a sad
and mournful melody. The book was written by the Prophet Jeremiah, who
warned the Jews to repent to prevent the fall of Jerusalem, which he
prophesized. His advice not only was ignored, but he also was
imprisoned for stating views that threatened the king's power. The
TORAH Sages also teach that the MESSIAH will be born on Tisha B'Av as a
sign that there is yet redemption in all the destruction.

At midnight there is a lamentation for the destruction of the Temple.
Then, people usually visit the cemetery after the morning service. On
the Ninth of Av in Jerusalem, devout Jews meet at the Kotel (Western
Wall) or visit the Tomb of David, voicing their grief and pain over the
fall of Jerusalem. One of the songs or chants is a mournful hymn known
as "The Wailing Song" which is said to date from the time of Ezra:
"HE is great, HE is good: HE will build HIS Temple speedily:
In great haste, in great haste; in our own day speedily.
LORD, build; LORD, build, build YOUR Temple speedily.
HE will save, HE will save; HE will save HIS Israel speedily;
At this time now, Oh, LORD, in our own day speedily
LORD, save! LORD, save! Save YOUR people, Israel speedily.

One can almost hear the children of Israel praying at the end of the
Feast of Tabernacles on the day of the Great Hosanna: "Save now, I
beseech YOU, LORD!" and see HIM WHO is "THE ANSWER" to their prayer
standing in their midst. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA is THE TEMPLE REBUILT
for HE was seemingly destroyed, but on the third day ALMIGHTY GOD
raised HIM from the dead!

The Jew, whose eyes are opened to behold the ANOINTED ONE of whom Moses
and the prophets wrote, has no need to mourn, to have Tisha b'Av day in
his life! Whomever has accepted YESHUA (the LORD JESUS) into their
heart as MESSIAH, LORD & KING can declare with David: " YOU have turned
my lament into dancing, YOU put off my sackcloth and girded me with joy
and gladness, that my whole being might sing hymns to YOU endlessly; O
LORD my GOD, I will praise YOU forever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 30. 11
Tanakh, Kethuvim] May our HEAVENLY FATHER hear our prayers that our
long-awaited MESSIAH YESHUA, the SON OF GOD, the SON OF DAVID, the KING
of kings, come quickly. May HIS Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily, even
in our day.

Special Note: Tisha b'Av (9th of Av) starts tomorrow night at sunset
(evening-to- evening). Tisha b'Av should hold significance, not just for
the Jewish people, but for everyone. The threat of terrorism is
worldwide, though most acutely felt and experienced in Israel. Let us
take this day to join hearts with our Israeli and Jewish brethren around
the world and offer united and fervent prayer to our HEAVENLY FATHER,
the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL, the LORD OF HOSTS.

We invite everyone to join in solidarity with our Jewish friends and
family in fasting for 24-hours beginning at sunset tonight until sunset
tomorrow night and to pray for Israel. We encourage everyone to light a
candle in their homes this evening in memory of the Israelis who have
died in this present daily war with the Palestinians; and read Psalm 83
aloud. I encourage parents to gather their children and do this as a
family prayer time. Let us take this day to join hearts with our
Israeli and Jewish brethren around the world and offer united and
fervent prayer to our OMNIPOTENT LORD GOD for HIS mercy through
judgment; pray for the coming of KING MESSIAH speedily even in our day.

Before the destruction of the 2nd Temple (70 BCE/BC) by the Romans on
the 9th of Av, the Romans had laid siege around Jerusalem, but
sufficient grain had been stored by the inhabitants of the City to
sustain them for 21 years. The leading TORAH sage at the time was Rabbi
Yochanan ben-Zakai who was in favor of pursuing a peace treaty with the
Romans hoping to ward off a war and save the Temple from destruction.
However a group of zealots called the Biryonim had other plans wanting
to force all Jews to take up arms and decided to wreck the economy by
burning down all the granaries, which created a quick and severe famine
in the City. The Romans took advantage of the devastation the zealots
caused and broke through the City walls and eventually destroyed the
Temple.

The actual intent of such practices are in preparation for coming to
grips with Israel's sin (sinat chinam unfounded hatred) which led
to the loss of the Temple, not just once, but twice. When the spies
returned from the land, there was weeping when there should have been
rejoicing. So, throughout history, GOD has given Israel reason to mourn
on this day, Tisha b'Av, the 9th day of the month of Av. Also, it is
suggested as the day the Wondering Hebrews sided against Joshua and
Caleb's report that the Promised Land could be conquered, thus sinning
with the unfaithful spies. [Numbers/B&# 39;Midvar 13. 30 - 31]

Traditional Jews observe this as a day of mourning with a fast and the
reading of the BIBLICAL BOOK of Lamentations. The Sabbath preceding
Tisha b'Av is called Shabbat Chazon, the Sabbath of prophecy. The
hafTORAH is Isaiah's foretelling of the destruction of the Temple.
The Shabbat following Tisha b'Av is Shabbat Nachamu, the Sabbath of
Comfort, when Isaiah's message of consolation is read.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
We praise YOU, MOST HOLY God and ask that YOUR PRESENCE be manifest to
us in all YOUR works, so that reverence for YOU may fill the hearts of
YOUR creatures. May all the children of men bow before YOU in humility
and unite to do YOUR will with one heart, that all may acknowledge that
YOURS alone is the power, dominion and majesty; and that YOUR NAME is
exalted above all.
In earlier times, it was the custom already from Tu B'Av to use as
one's greeting "May your inscription and seal be for good (ketiva
vahatima tova)!" the same blessing that we today use on Rosh
haShana.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Peace, more than any other vessel, holds blessedness.

GOD'S GREAT FAITHFULNESS
"The kindness of the LORD has not ended, HIS mercies are not spent. They
are renewed every morning — Great and exceedingly abundant is YOUR
grace! The LORD is my portion! — I say with full heart; therefore
will I hope in HIM." [Lamentations (Ekhah) 3. 22 - 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Lamentations is full of mournful laments, wailing, damnation, and the
scent of devastated Jerusalem after it collapsed from the plunderings by
the Babylonian armies. Yet, from such a time as this comes this
beautiful passage.

Done in Hebrew acrostic (Alef – Tav, the Hebrew alphabet), the
entire Funeral Song is a remarkably structured hymn of grief. The first
two and the last two chapters consist of 22 verses, each using all the
Hebrew alphabets. The central chapter has 66 verses, with the letters
of the alphabet applied every third verse.

It is in this central chapter, these three verses stand out like an
"Island of Hope" in a "Sea of Despair" — as a sign that there is yet
redemption in all the destruction. And throughout the ages, these
SCRIPTURES have been a great comfort and blessing to all believers in
times of testing.

We are most blessed for having been given these sustaining promises.
Every new day brings some new token of our LOVING HOLY GOD'S gracious
provision to meet the need of that day. We cannot count all our
blessings, they are far too numerous. King David said, "O LORD my GOD,
many are the wonders YOU have devised for us. I would rehearse the tale
of them, if I would declare and speak of them, but they are more than
can be numbered." [Psalms (Tehillym) 40. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "GOD
performs great deeds which cannot be fathomed, wondrous things without
number." [Job (Iyob) 5. 9; 9. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Great is the LORD
and greatly to be praised; HIS greatness is unsearchable, it cannot be
fathomed." [Psalms (Tehillym) 145. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Every new day
reminds us again that HIS faithfulness is exceedingly great!

The Mishnah tells us that: "No days were as festive for Israel as the
15th of Av and Yom Kippur." (Tractate Ta'anit) What is Tu B'Av, the 15th
of the Hebrew month of Av? In which way is it equivalent to Yom Kippur?

Our Sages explain: Yom Kippur symbolizes God's forgiving Israel for the
sin of the Golden Calf in the desert, for it was on that day that He
finally accepted Moses' plea for forgiveness of the nation, and on that
same day Moses came down from the mountain with the new set of tablets.

Just as Yom Kippur symbolizes the atonement for the sin of the Golden
Calf, Tu B'Av signifies the atonement for the sin of the Spies, where
ten came bearing such negative reports which reduced the entire nation
to panic. As a result of that sin, it was decreed by God that the nation
would remain in the desert for 40 years, and that no person 20 or older
would be allowed to enter Israel . On each Tisha B'Av of those 40 years,
those who had reached the age of 60 that year died — 15,000 each
Tisha B'Av. This plague finally ended on Tu B'Av.

No matter what the days ahead may hold and regardless how hopeless,
prevailing, frightening or horrendously terrible they may be, the battle
is the LORD'S and HIS compassion and mercy will not fail! HalleluYAH!

The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA eagerly awaits to renew HIS mercies each morning
and make HIS faithfulness known. . . if we have all of our faith, hope
and trust in HIM. There is none greater!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel !
"Z' man Simchataynu — A time of our rejoicing!" Today (evening to
evening) marks a joyous day on the Jewish calendar— Tu B'Av (15th
day of the month of Av). Many celebrations throughout Israel are
scheduled in commemoration of the day, with love as their theme.
Our Sages enlightenment of the Tu B'Av: Just as Yom Kippur symbolizes
the atonement for the sin of the Golden Calf in the desert, for it was
on that day the HOLY ONE accepted Moses' plea for forgiveness of the
nation; Tu B'Av signifies the atonement for the sin of the Spies, where
ten came bearing such negative reports which reduced the entire nation
to panic. As a result of that sin, it was decreed by GOD that the Nation
would remain in the desert for 40 years, and that no person 20 or older
would be allowed to enter Israel . On each Tisha B'Av of those 40 years,
those who had reached the age of 60 that year died — 15,000 each
year. This plague finally ended on Tu B'Av (15th of Av).
This day marks several other BIBLICAL and historical events besides
being the conclusion of the death decree of the generation that wandered
in the desert wilderness. They were thus punished for believing the Ten
Scouts discouraging report on the Land of Canaan —
* The ban on intermarriage among tribes of Israel was lifted.
* King Hosea, the last monarch of the northern Israelite kingdom,
removed the barriers installed by one of his predecessors, King
Jeroboam, which prevented the northerners from making pilgrimages to
Jerusalem .
* The Romans permitted the Jews to bury Bar Kochba's supporters who had
fallen at Betar.
* The Talmud states that on Tu B'Av, the young unmarried women of
Jerusalem would borrow white clothing — so that their wealth or lack
of it would not stand out — dancing and singing in the vineyards in
order to be noticed by their prospective husbands. Many weddings are
thus celebrated on Tu B'Av.
Beginning with Tu B'Av, we start preparing ourselves spiritually for
the month of Elul, the prologue to the coming Days of Awe. In earlier
times, it was the custom already from Tu B'Av to use as one's greeting
"May your inscription and seal be for good—ketiva vahatima tova"
— the same blessing that we today use on Rosh ha'Shana. Those
who work out the Gematria values of different expressions found that
phrase adds up to 928 — and so does the words for 15th of Av.
May you know the joy and happiness that only comes from the
righteousness of our LORD, MESSIAH YESHUA. The LORD GOD be with you this
day and always and may your days be lived in peace and truth.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 3 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Sun 14 Jul 2013, 11:13 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A fault recognized is half corrected.

OUR ROCK, THE CREATOR
"You neglected the ROCK WHO begot you, forgot the GOD WHO brought you
forth." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 18 Tanakh, Torah]

Moses prophesied the coming apostasy of Israel in a prophetic history
of Israel just before he died. Not only did his prophecy come true for
the nation of Israel , but the same could be said of most Christianity
today.

Moses also described how the Israelites had been blessed greatly of the
LORD GOD, but instead of drawing closer to HIM they, "grew fat and gross
and coarse and forsook GOD WHO made them and spurned the ROCK of their
salvation." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 15 Tanakh, Torah] The "ROCK"
referred to here is the rock (Hebrew: t'suwr) which Moses struck,
yielding water to sustain them in the journeys and provided an
ever-present reminder of the HOLY ONE'S marvelous and awesome provision.
. . and that "ROCK was CHRIST." [1 Corinthians 10. 4] However, they
totally forgot the MIGHTY GOD of their creation and salvation, and
sacrificed to demons, gods they did not know and new gods that were made
later. [Deuteronomy/ Devarim 32. 17]

The ETERNAL GOD OF JACOB is the ONE WHO has given us life, and without
HIM and HIS daily sustenance, all life would cease. How very foolish it
is to attempt to live life without the only SAVIOR, our FATHER GOD, WHO
begot us — WHO gave us life and even now maintains it. All too
often the ALMIGHTY CREATOR is excluded from our churches, homes; and
more vehemently disregarded in government and schools. Many so-called
followers of MESSIAH YESHUA also live their lives as practical atheists,
making decisions and living their lives just as if the LORD GOD OF
HEAVEN did not exist. "Woe to the multitude of many people, because you
have forgotten the GOD WHO saves you, and have not remembered the ROCK
WHO shelters you." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 17. 10, 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Let
us fully trust and re-commit ourselves to giving the rightful place in
our lives and sphere of influence to the ROCK WHO begot us.

"The NAME of the LORD I proclaim; give glory to our GOD! HE is the ROCK!
HIS work is perfect, Yes, all HIS ways are just, a FAITHFUL GOD OF
TRUTH, without injustice, righteous, true and upright is HE."
[Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 3 - 4 Tanakh, Torah] "I adore YOU, O LORD,
my STRENGTH, O LORD, my FORTRESS and my DELIVERER; my GOD, my ROCK in
WHOM I seek REFUGE; my SHIELD, the MIGHTY HORN of my salvation, my
STRONGHOLD and STRENGTH." [Psalms (Tehillym) 18. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] O
LORD, YOU are my God, I love YOU and give YOU praise; there is none like
YOU!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel !
Welcoming Shabbat Chazon (Shabbat of Prophecy). Come my dear friend, to
meet the Bride, the Sabbath presence, let us welcome. We honor & praise
the LORD YESHUA, THE ONE WHO gives true Sabbath peace and rest and
separates the sacred from the ordinary.
Blessings to all who love Zion !

Post  Admin on Sun 14 Jul 2013, 10:04 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Eat onions and sit in the shade of contentment! In other words
—Satisfy yourself with little and live quietly.

GATE — DOOR — VEIL
"You shall make an enclosure for the Tabernacle on the south side."
[Exodus (Shemot) 27. 9 - 16 Tanakh, Torah]

In the three entrances of the Tabernacle we see MESSIAH YESHUA, THE GATE
(THE WAY), THE DOOR (THE TRUTH) and THE VEIL (THE LIFE). The number
"three" represents the GODhead, the TRINITY. OMNIPOTENT GOD'S fullness
is summed up in MESSIAH as shown in these three doorways. "For in HIM
dwells all the fullness of the GODhead bodily." [Colossians 2. 9] We
approach the fullness of spiritual life only through GOD'S SON, our
cherished, BELOVED REDEEMER.

THE GATE was 20 cubits x 5 cubits equaling 100. There is 100% salvation
which the LORD GOD purchased for all who will come to HIM. It was low
and wide, extending its arms (so to speak) to "whosoever will." This
Gate was supported by 4 Pillars. Those 4 Pillars show the Way to
Holiness that are found in the NEW COVENANT Books of Matthew, Mark, Luke
and John.

THE DOOR was 10 cubits x 10 cubits equaling 100 also. The ALMIGHTY ONE
has one-hundred percent fellowship for HIS own. This curtain was,
however, higher and narrower than the Gate. "Height" means greater and
a more enlarged spiritual experience. There is a narrower walk with
ETERNAL GOD, an enlarged and higher plane of living. It is through the
sanctifying of the SPIRIT OF GOD for fellowship and service with HIM.

Some followers of CHRIST stop after entering the GATE OF SALVATION; they
live selfishly, keeping silent concerning their salvation, and becoming
stagnant by not allowing the RIVERS OF LIVING WATER to flow through them
to others. They have entered the Court and have failed to explore
further into the heights of DIVINE GRACE.

After entering the Holy Place through THE DOOR, the priests would
minister to the LORD OF GLORY at the Golden Lampstand, the Table of
Showbread and the Altar of Incense. They would partake of and
participate in these illustrative objects showing their close
relationship with their GOD for the people. Those who enter into the
Holy Place with GOD receive more light, food and worship. Here the
CHRISTian grows in the knowledge of MESSIAH for HE is "THE LIGHT (Golden
Lampstand) OF THE WORLD." The LORD JESUS is "THE BREAD which came down
from heaven (Table of Showbread)." And, HE is the "GREAT INTERCESSOR
(Altar of Incense — taking the prayers of the saints to GOD
ALMIGHTY)." Here one can partake of the very life of the HOLY ONE and
continue to grow in the fullness of MESSIAH YESHUA, which is the will of
GOD concerning all who are HIS.

There were Five Pillars that held up the DOOR. The Pillars represent
ministries: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.
[Ephesians 4. 11]

Now we come to THE VEIL which was the entrance to the Holy of Holies.
It is also 10 cubits x 10 cubits, as was the Door, but it was even more
beautiful. There was added to it the design of the cherubim, the
guardians of GOD'S holiness. The Veil was made of cunning work —
the design and colours woven through the material so that it was seen on
both sides. Again, the ten-by-ten equals one hundred. . . GOD offers
100% of HIS glorious, holy presence to those who desire it for HE has
purchased it for them with HIS OWN precious blood! There is a more
beautiful walk with the HOLY ONE, it is the Way of Holiness; and without
holiness, no man shall see, understand, or know the ALMIGHTY ONE. The
Four Pillars holding the Veil that leads into the Holiest is
characteristics of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH: Wisdom, Righteousness,
Sanctification (Holiness) and Redemption. [1 Corinthians 1. 30] It is
here that we find the other two ministries: Priest and King. [Hebrews
6. 19 thru 7. 2]

Under the OLD COVENANT, the Israelites were restricted concerning the
Temple, for they were allowed only through THE GATE into the Court. They
were shut off from the Holy Place by the curtain called the Door. Only
the priests, the sons of Aaron, were allowed through this entrance. But
even the priests were shut off from the Holiest Place by the Veil.
Besides Moses, only one man, the high priest, was allowed through the
Veil into the Holy of Holies and that, only once a year and at that
time, he could not enter without blood! But, these restrictions were
changed — done away in MESSIAH YESHUA WHO fulfilled the OLD COVENANT
to establish the NEW. "JESUS, when HE had cried again with a loud
voice, and yielded up HIS SPIRIT. And behold, THE VEIL of the Temple was
torn in two from top to the bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks
were split." [Matthew 27. 50 - 51]

Have you entered into the Gate? the Door? through the Veil? How
intimately do you want to walk with the KING OF GLORY? The choice is
yours, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH calls us to a higher and closer walk
with HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Bidding farewell to Sabbath Chazon (Shabbat of Prophecy). We use all of
our senses to bid farewell to Shabbat with the Havdalah (difference)
Service; we taste the wine, smell the spices, see the shadows of
candles, hear prayers & songs, and touch family and friends as we wish
them a "Tov Shavua — A Good Week!"

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
As a house implies a builder, a dress a weaver, a door a carpenter, so
the world proclaims GOD, its CREATOR.

QUICKENING SPIRIT
"There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body. And so it is
written— The first man Adam became a living being. —The LAST
ADAM became a LIFE-GIVING SPIRIT." [1 Corinthians 15. 44b - 45]

Paul makes it perfectly clear in this glorious resurrection chapter of
Corinthians, that man became a living soul. Here he is quoting Genesis
— "The LORD GOD formed man (Hebrew: `adam) of the dust of the
ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man
became a living being." [Genesis/Bereshith 2. 7] Opposing the opinion
of many liberal theologians, Adam was not merely a generic term for
humanity in general, but this specifically indicates that Adam was "the
first man." It also proves false the teaching of a human population on
earth (pre-Adamic men) — despite the claims of all those who would
compromise with the evolutionists.

Just as there was a first Adam, so MESSIAH YESHUA was the LAST ADAM. HE
was not the last man to be born, HE was the second and last man whose
body would be directly formed by GOD, as emphasized in the Genesis
account. "That HOLY ONE WHO is to be born" [Luke 1. 35] which Miryam
(Mary) received in her womb, was conceived altogether miraculously.
"Therefore, when HE came into the world, HE said— a body YOU have
prepared for ME." [Hebrews 10. 5] "The first man was of the earth, made
of dust; the SECOND MAN is the LORD from heaven" . [1 Corinthians 15. 47]
"HE WHO comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly
and speaks of the earth. HE WHO comes from heaven is above all." [John
3. 31] "The BREAD OF GOD is HE WHO comes down from heaven and gives life
to the world." [John 6. 33]

Thus, having no inherited or generic sin in HIS perfect human body, this
LAST ADAM could become "the LAMB OF GOD" WHO'S body was perfect and
"without blemish and without spot" able to redeem lost men with HIS
"precious blood" that alone can take "away the sin of the world." [John
1. 29; 1 Peter 1. 19]

Moreover, the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA was also "made a QUICKENING SPIRIT" by
raising from the dead. HE was "put to death in the flesh but made alive
(quickened) by the SPIRIT" [1 Peter 3. 18], and now gives eternal life
to all who receive HIS life. "For as the FATHER raises the dead and
gives life to them, even so the SON gives life to whom HE will." [John
5. 21] Without a doubt, the LORD JESUS is the RESURRECTION and the LIFE,
whoever believes in HIM though he may die, will live. HalleluYAH! what
a SAVIOR.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Forever we plead with YOU, O GUARDIAN OF ISRAEL, help us, take notice of
our tears; for continually we cry aloud, "Hear O Israel" –
take notice, GUARDIAN of the Nations; show all the peoples that YOU are
our MERCIFUL KING. Indeed, we have none other, YOU alone, whose NAME is
ONE! Blessed are YOU, WHO in YOUR glory gives life and light to the
whole world. For YOUR great goodness and endless mercies, we give
thanks, praise, honor and glory.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There is no reason to try predicting the future, the BIBLE has already
done that. . . and with greater certainty.

EVEN NOW
"You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS OWN
special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM WHO called you
out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but
are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have
obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10]

There are so very many marvelous and wondrous things that await us IF we
have trusted the LORD Messiah YesHUA for our salvation —
specifically, His mercies: "The LORD is longsuffering, slow to anger,
abundant in mercy and abounding in kindness; forgiving iniquity and
transgression. " [Numbers (B'Midvar) 14. 18 Tanakh, Torah] "One thing
GOD has spoken; two things have I heard — That Might belongs to
ADONEY, and Faithfulness is YOURS, O LORD, to reward each man according
to his deeds." [Psalms (Tehillym) 62. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

It is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into
the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love
HIM." [1 Corinthians 2. 9] However, do not miss the next line. . .
"But GOD has revealed them to us through HIS SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT
searches all things, yes, the deep things of GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 10]
"The concealed (secret) things belong to the LORD GOD, but the overt
acts (those things which are clearly revealed), it is for us and to our
children ever to apply all the words and provisions of this TEACHING
(Law)." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29 Tanakh, Torah] This means that
we are free from any condemnation at the Judgment. "There is therefore
now no condemnation to those who are in CHRIST JESUS, who do not walk
according to the flesh, but according to the SPIRIT. For the Law of the
SPIRIT of life in CHRIST JESUS has made me free from the law of sin and
death." [Romans 8. 1 - 2]

We have been justified already, declared righteous with the
righteousness of MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF. "GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love
toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us. Much
more then, having now been justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved
from wrath through HIM. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled
to GOD through the death of HIS SON, much more, having been reconciled,
we shall be saved by HIS life." [Romans 5. 8 - 10] "But now the
righteousness of GOD apart from the Law is revealed — even the
righteousness of GOD, through faith in CHRIST JESUS, to all and on all
who believe." [Romans 3. 21 – 22] We are now the people of the
RIGHTEOUS, LOVING, HOLY GOD who have obtained mercy.

In the magnificent passage, the precious Apostle John confirms the
glorious truth, "Beloved, now we are children of GOD; and it has not yet
been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when HE is revealed, we
shall be like HIM, for we shall see HIM as HE is." [1 John 3. 2]

As CHRIST-like- ones, we have the wonderful assurance that our blessed
LORD YESHUA is praying for us, even now for Messiah, the perfect REFUGE,
is entered into Heaven itself. "For MESSIAH has not entered the holy
places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven
itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us" [Hebrews 9. 24]
since "HE always lives to make intercession for them." [Hebrews 7. 25]

"Now to Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you
faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to GOD
our SAVIOR, WHO alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power,
both now and forever, Amen!" [Jude 24 - 25] What a MIGHTY GOD we serve!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
Judgment is coming, troubles are coming, and we must live disciplined,
enduring CHRIST-filled lives. Lives disciplined by the WORD OF GOD and
empowered by HIS HOLY SPIRIT to give us strength and courage to fight
evil and to triumph over it. May the WONDROUS LORD GOD grant you the
privilege to witness and experience the marvelous miracle of being
delivered from the yoke of slavery to sin. All glory and praise to the
ALMIGHTY LORD GOD, KING OF CREATION forever!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 3 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Wed 10 Jul 2013, 9:31 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Learning is a path, not a destination.

LIFE & FAITH
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen." [Hebrews 11. 1]

The Hebrew word for faith is "emuwn (pronounced ay-moon' )" meaning
truth, established, faithful, trusting or trustworthy. To the LORD
MESSIAH YESHUA, the attribute of faith is of the highest importance for
the realization of His PERFECT HUMANITY. YESHUA is the CHIEF WITNESS
of faith — the LEADER of all the witnesses of faith, and the AUTHOR
& FINISHER of our faith. YESHUA ha'MASHIACH fulfills, in detail, every
one of the examples recorded in the Book of Hebrews!

What is a Life of Faith?
A Life Lived In Complete Dependence On GOD.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own
understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct
(smooth) your paths." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] It
was said of and known about JESUS, the WORD MADE FLESH, "HE committed
HIMSELF to the LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
YESHUA said of HIMSELF— "I live because of the FATHER, so he who
feeds on ME will live because of ME." [John 6. 57] It is recorded of
the SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS saying, "I will put MY trust in HIM (GOD THE
FATHER) — Here am I and the children whom GOD has given ME."
[Hebrews 2. 13] MESSIAH YESHUA said HE could do nothing of HIMSELF, HE
depended completely on the FATHER. [John 5. 19] The LORD JESUS "was
faithful to HIM (the FATHER) that appointed HIM (the SON)." [Hebrews 3.
2]

A Life Lived In Communion With GOD.
In the words written by David concerning MESSIAH YESHUA, "I am ever
mindful of the LORD'S PRESENCE; HE is at my right hand; I shall never be
shaken. For YOU will not abandon ME to Sheol, or let YOUR FAITHFUL ONE
see the Pit." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 8, 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "HE WHO
sent ME is with ME. The FATHER has not left ME alone for I always do
those things that please HIM." [John 8. 29 ] The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA
lived in constant communion with GOD. [Mark 1. 35]

A Life Lived In Obedience To GOD.
The LORD JESUS proved HIS obedience in HIS humanity. "In the days of
HIS flesh, when HE had offered up prayers and supplications, with
vehement cries and tears to HIM WHO was able to save HIM from death, and
was heard because of HIS GODly fear, though HE was a SON, yet HE learned
obedience by the things which HE suffered." [Hebrews 5. 7 - 8] JESUS
said, "I always do those things that please MY FATHER." [John 8. 29-c]
"I have kept MY FATHER'S commandments and abide in HIS love." [John 15.
10] "MY meat is to do the will of HIM that sent ME, and finish HIS
work. For I have come down from heaven, not to do MY OWN will, but the
will of HIM WHO sent ME." [John 4. 34; 6. 38] "I come to do YOUR will,
O GOD." [Hebrews 10. 7, 9; Mark 14. 36; Luke 22. 42]

A Life Lived In Assured Confidence In The Unseen Rapture.
The HOLY ANOINTED REDEEMER knew there was joy awaiting HIM after death
"for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the
shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD."
[Hebrews 12. 2] The LORD JESUS believed that GOD THE FATHER would
raise HIM from the dead. [Psalms/Tehillym 16. 10] HE also promised HIS
disciples that HE would come again after HE had gone away. "In MY
FATHER'S house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF; that where I am,
there you may be also." [John 14. 2 - 3]

Furthermore, we who believe and fully trust JESUS THE MESSIAH, our
BLESSED REDEEMER, live in assured, certain, secure confidence because of
this promised hope. We know in WHOM we believe and are fully persuaded
for HOLY ALMIGHTY ONE is faithful and true!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Life's challenges work out for the best when we recognize what appear to
be obstacles as opportunities to develop ourselves for the better and
recognize that all things come from OMNIPOTENT GOD'S invisible hand that
guides our lives.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
He who learns from the old, to what is he like? ...To one who eats ripe
grapes and drinks old wine.

THE WORD & THE SPIRIT
"Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT which
is of GOD; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of
GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 12]

Some people are animated only by the spirit of the world, so when they
read a BIBLICAL passage they find it tedious, confusing, or even
foolish. They are filled with "the spirit that now works in the children
of disobedience. " [Ephesians 2. 2] However, those who are indwelled by
the SPIRIT OF GOD, received the HOLY SPIRIT when they trusted in YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH for forgiveness of their sins for salvation. And when they
read HOLY SCRIPTURES, they receive great understanding and blessings.

GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT is the ONE WHO inspired all the SACRED SCRIPTURES
and "holy men of GOD spoke as they were moved on by the HOLY SPIRIT" to
write it down. "All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of GOD" [2
Timothy 3. 16] that is, "GOD breathed" so the "BREATH OF GOD" is
the "HOLY SPIRIT." The Apostle Paul said, "We speak, not in the words
which man's wisdom teaches, but which the HOLY SPIRIT teaches." [1
Corinthians 2. 13]

"And when HE (the HOLY SPIRIT, COMFORTER, HELPER) has come, HE will
convict the world of SIN, and of RIGHTEOUSNESS, and of JUDGMENT: Of sin,
because they do not believe in ME. Of righteousness, because I go to MY
FATHER and you see ME no more. Of judgment, because the ruler of this
world is judged." [John 16. 8 - 11] It is, therefore, the HOLY SPIRIT
WHO indwells each believer to illumine, confirm and apply the WORD OF
GOD to the individual who reads or hears with his heart. "The natural
man does not receives the things of the SPIRIT OF GOD, for they are
foolishness to him; nor can he know them because they are spiritually
discerned." [1 Corinthians 2. 14] However, the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA
promised HIS disciples that "when HE, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, is come, HE
will guide you into all truth." [John 16. 13]

The LORD JESUS is faithful to do this through the HOLY WRIT HE inspired.
And, we receive blessings in abundance as we study them prayerfully,
then believing and obeying the words HE taught us for they are our
LIFE'S BREAD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
May it be YOUR will, LORD our GOD and GOD of our fathers, MERCIFUL KING,
in YOUR abundant love, again to have mercy on us and on YOUR Sanctuary,
rebuild it speedily and magnify YOUR glory! Blessed are YOU, WHO in YOUR
glory gives life and light to the whole world. For YOUR great goodness
and endless mercies, we give YOU thanks, praise and glory.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"If I forget you, O Jerusalem , let my right hand wither; let my tongue
stick to my palate if I cease to think of you, if I do not keep
Jerusalem in memory even at my happiest hour." [Psalms (Tehillym) 137. 5
6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

THE NINE DAYS
"When you have begotten children and children' s children and are
long established in the land, should you act wickedly and make for
yourselves a sculptured image in any likeness, causing the LORD your GOD
displeasure and vexation, I call heaven and earth this day to witness
against you, that you shall soon utterly perish from the land that you
are crossing the Jordan to possess; you shall not long endure in it, but
shall be utterly destroyed. The LORD will scatter you among the peoples,
and only a scant few of you will be left among the nations to which the
LORD will drive you. There you will serve man-made gods of wood and
stone, that cannot see or hear or eat or smell.
But if you search there for the LORD your GOD, you will find HIM, if
only you seek HIM with all your heart and soul - when you are in
distress because all these things have befallen you and, in the end,
return to the LORD your GOD and obey HIM. For the LORD your GOD is a
MERCIFUL GOD, HE will not forsake you nor will HE let you perish; HE
will not forget the covenant which HE made on oath with your fathers.
You have but to ask about bygone ages that came before you, ever
since GOD created man on the earth, from one end of heaven to the other,
has anything as grand as this ever happened, or has its like ever been
known? Has any people ever heard the VOICE OF GOD speaking out of a
fire, as you have heard, and live? Or has any god ventured to go and
take for himself one nation from the midst of another by prodigious
acts, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched
arm, and awesome power, as the LORD your GOD did for you in Egypt before
your very eyes?
You have been shown to know that the LORD alone is GOD; there is
none beside HIM. Out of heaven HE let you hear HIS VOICE, that HE might
instruct you; on earth HE let you see HIS great fire, and from amidst
that fire you heard HIS WORDS. And because HE loved your fathers, HE
chose their descendants after them; HE HIMSELF brought you out of Egypt
with HIS PRESENCE, in HIS great might, to drive from your path nations
greater and mightier than you, to take you into their land and assign it
to you as a heritage, as it is this day.
Know therefore this day and consider it in your heart that the LORD
alone is GOD in heaven above and on earth below; there is no other. You
shall therefore keep HIS statutes and HIS commandments which I enjoin
upon you this day, that it may go well with you and with your children
after you, and that you may long remain in the land that the LORD your
GOD is giving you for all time." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 4. 25 - 40
Tanakh, Torah]

Tonight begins a period known as "The Nine Days" the days from
Rosh Chodesh (head of the month), the month of Av to the fast of the
ninth of Av (Tisha b'Av). In Jewish communities worldwide, prohibitions
intended to decrease joy are implemented. All these reach a climax on
the Fast of the Ninth of Av, a fast similar to Yom Kippur. During this
time, we increase our solemn attitudes toward the Temple and of its
loss. We are especially careful to keep our thoughts upon the
destruction of the Holy Place and of the lifestyle that was lost with
its destruction. There are no celebrations, no weddings, and no
haircuts! Among the Orthodox, even bathing is kept to a minimum and
freshly laundered clothes are not worn. These prohibitions are not
intended to be overwhelming, but to turn our minds toward the
seriousness of sin and its consequences.

Yet, even in destruction there is consolation. After Jeremiah prophesied
judgment, he delivered a message of deliverance to the nation of Judah .
"For I am with you to deliver you declares the LORD. I will make
an end of all the nations among which I have dispersed you; but I will
not make an end of you! I will not leave you unpunished, but will
chastise you in measure." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 30. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im;
see also 46. 28]

The discipline of GOD OMNIPOTENT is a means to an end; that is, a
restored relationship through repentance. "Let us search and examine our
ways, and turn back to the LORD. Let us lift up our heart rather than
our hands to GOD in heaven...I have called on yOUR nAME, O LORD, from
the depths of the Pit. Hear my plea Do not shut your ear to my
groan, to my cry! YOU have ever drawn nigh when I called YOU; YOU
said Do not fear! YOU championed my cause, O LORD, YOU have
redeemed my life." [Lamentations (Ekhah) 3. 40 41, 55 58
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Through judgment, we are reminded of our need for GOD'S mercy. The
month of Av reminds us that we are sustained by the mercy of the MOST
HIGH GOD. When properly grasped, this consolation of Av naturally leads
us to the next step…the repentance of the month, Elul.

We encourage everyone to light a candle in their homes this evening in
memory of the Israelis who have died in past and present wars and read
Psalm 83 aloud. I encourage parents to gather their children and do
this as a family prayer time. Let us take this day to join hearts with
our Israeli and Jewish brethren around the world and offer united and
fervent prayer to our HEAVENLY FATHER.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel !
May our HEAVENLY FATHER hear our prayers. . . that our long-awaited
MESSIAH YESHUA, THE SON OF DAVID, KING of kings comes quickly. And, may
YOUR Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily, even in our day. Amen & Amen!

Post  Admin on Sat 06 Jul 2013, 10:30 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There is much material and many counselors available to those who are
experiencing rough times; but in the long run, only GOD'S
TRUTHfound in HOLY SCRIPTUREcan equip people for the difficult
times because only the ETERNAL WORD provides the context in which
temporal problems can be understood, and only the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD can
supply the resources which human problems demand. Think about it!

HELL, A LITERAL PLACE
"The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of
His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness,
and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and
gnashing of teeth. ." [Matthew 13. 41 - 42]

The LOVING MESSIAH taught the importance of love and forgiveness, so how
could HE speak such words like these? In fact, YESHUA had more to say
about hell and eternal punishment than any other speaker or writer in
the HOLY SCRIPTURE. Since HE is the CREATOR, "For by HIM all things
were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and
invisible" [Colossians 1. 16], the coming JUDGE "the FATHER judges no
one, but has committed all judgment to the SON" [John 5. 22], and the
only MAN who has died and risen permanently from the dead "HE died for
all…and rose again" [2 Corinthians 5. 15], we would do well to
believe and heed HIS warnings. HE knows of what HE speaks!

There are more prophesies of warning of the literal hell and the Lake of
Fire: "Then HE will also say to those on the left hand Depart from
ME, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his
angels." [Matthew 25. 41] "So it will be at the end of the age. The
angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and
cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing
of teeth." [Matthew 13. 49 - 50] "If your eye causes you to sin, pluck
it out. It is better for you to enter the KINGDOM OF GOD with one eye,
rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire where their
worm does not die and the fire is not quenched." [Mark 9. 47 28;
also see Mark 9. 42 - 50] The OLD COVENANT also gives warnings from the
LORD GOD, "And they shall go out and look upon the corpses of the men
who have rebelled against ME; their worm shall not die, nor their fire
is not quenched; they shall be a horror to all flesh." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 66. 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Behold, MY anger and MY fury
will be poured out...It will burn with none to quench it." [Jeremiah
(Yirmeyah) 7. 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Appropriately, there are many
such warnings, but how can we reconcile such alarming admonitions of
ever-lasing torment with a FAITHFUL GOD'S OWN nature of love?

The fact is, hell and the Lake of Fire were not prepared for people, but
for the devil and his angels that rebelled against GOD. "For if GOD did
not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and
delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment." [2
Peter 2. 4] "The angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left
their own abode, HE has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness
for the judgment of the great day." [Jude 1. 6] The devil has been a
rebel against the MOST HIGH since the beginning, determining to be like
the HOLY MASTER.

When people follow the devil in this same rebellious path, rejecting
GOD'S WORD, they are showing they would be more comfortable with
Satan than with the PERFECT DESIGNER in eternity, so the LORD is giving
them their choice. Because of HIS great love, the ALMIGHTY ONE warns
repeatedly of what is coming as HIS faithful followers we too should
warm others and "keep yourselves in the love of GOD, looking for the
mercy of our LORD JESUS CHRIST unto eternal life. And on some have
compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling
them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh."
[Jude 1. 22 - 23]

Love like YESHUA loves, warn your family, friends, acquaintances, all
you come into contact with, that there is everlasting punishment for the
wicked, but eternal life for those who come to MESSIAH and have been
redeemed by HIS precious blood.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!!
HEAVENLY FATHER, teach us to emulate YOUR OWN grace and mercy. Cause
YOUR truth to fall upon our hearts like seed upon fertile ground. And,
may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more deeply and to find in it the
beauty of holiness. Amen
May you have good health, much laughter, simcha (joy), few tears,
memorable moments, and many rich blessings from the MASTER!

Post  Admin on Fri 05 Jul 2013, 1:11 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The real and the spiritual are one, like body and soul in a living man.
It is for the law to clear the path; it is for the soul to sense the
spirit.
WHICH SHEBA
"The descendants of Ham (son of Noah): Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
The descendants of Cush: Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtecah.
The descendants of Raamah: SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 10. 7
Tanakh, Torah] This list of Ham's genealogy shows his sons and their
families.
"Abraham (a Semite, descendant of Shem) took another wife, named Keturah
(after Sarah's death). She bore him Zimram and Jokshan. Jokshan begot
SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Torah]
"Abraham willed all that he owned to Isaac; but to Abraham' s sons by
concubines Abraham gave gifts while he was still living, and he sent
them away from his son Isaac EASTWARD, to the land of the EAST."
[Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Torah] Consider the names, Sheba
and Dedan — they are alike, but the people are separate as well as
their ancestry. The nationalities are completely different. Hence, the
locations of the homeland are either found in Ethiopia, descendant of
Ham (which is south of Egypt and south west of Jerusalem), or Arabia,
descendant of Abraham.

When the Queen of Sheba came to visit Solomon and test his wisdom, she
came from the South (Arabia) not from Africa. The LORD JESUS confirmed
this location when HE was teaching and the Scribes and Pharisees
demanded of HIM a sign. MESSIAH affirmed — "the queen of the south
will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for
she came from the ENDS OF THE EARTH to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and
indeed a greater than Solomon is here." [Matthew 12. 42] South Arabia
is at "the end of the earth (beyond that there is only water)" as it is
a peninsula in the Arabian Sea (modern Oman & Yemen).

The "Sheba of Arabia" is an established region of land while the "Sheba
of Ethiopia" is part of the Ethiopian people and not a separate
geographical location.
Likewise, the exaggerated story that Solomon and the Queen of Sheba had
a son together and that the son's descendents later took the Ark of the
Covenant to Ethiopia simply is "a fable, a legend, a myth" giving favor
to the Wicked Devil and his evil lies and deceits. HOLY SCRIPTURE
records, "King Solomon, in turn, gave the Queen of Sheba everything she
expressed a desire for, exceeding in return for what she had brought to
the king. Then she and her courtiers left and returned to her own land."
[2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 9. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Many claim and accept an ethnic group of the Ethiopians to be of Jewish
descent due to their religious practices. However, these "acquired
customs" were adopted when the world-spread fame of Solomon caused
peoples from all nations to seek Solomon' s TRUE & LIVING GOD. As was in
the case with Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch, "So he (Philip) arose and
went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia, a eunuch of great authority under
Candace the Queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury,
and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his
chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet." [Acts 8. 27 - 28] Even
long years after Solomon, the whole world knew about the MIGHTY GOD OF
ISRAEL.

Instead of believing everything we hear, we should check out the HOLY
SCRIPTURES for ourselves. Search GOD'S WRITTEN WORD, line-upon-line,
compare the TRUE SCRIPTURES and history with the legendary accounts,
which are but fables, and myths that you may be able to discern between
TRUTH and lies. Many cults and isms have originated from these errors,
so Beware! "For the time will come when they will not endure sound
doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching
ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn
their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." [2
Timothy 4. 3 - 4] Know in WHOM you believe, and live confident in HIS
amazing truth.
Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world HE created. May
Your will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed, MOST HOLY ONE, in
the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel
speedily and in our time, Amen. May YOU be blessed forever, even
throughout all eternity. May YOU, be blessed, praised & honored,
extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Amen

Post  Admin on Thu 04 Jul 2013, 12:52 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Your spiritual duties must be your own hearts actions.

OUR HELPER, OUR TEACHER
"The HELPER, the HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM the FATHER will send in MY NAME, HE
will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that
I said to you." [John 14. 26]

The INDWELLING HOLY SPIRIT is the best TEACHER, HE is our own special,
personal MASTER-INSTRUCTOR, MASTER-COUNSELOR. "The natural man does not
receive the things of the SPIRIT OF GOD, for they are foolishness to
him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned." [1
Corinthians 2. 14] Therefore, we are to study to show our selves
approved so the GUIDING COMFORTER can call to our remembrance ALMIGHTY
GOD'S TRUTH, that you do what is written.

We who have been called and chosen by GOD, know that it is essential and
required both to DO HIS will and KNOW HIM. As we read and meditate on
the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT brings understanding to our
mind. Then moment-by-moment brings awareness as HE remains at our side
guiding our daily lives as we allow HIM to lead us.

"The HOLY SPIRIT also witnesses to us; for after HE had said before,
this is The Covenant that I will make with them after those days, says
the LORD— I will put MY Laws into their hearts, and in their minds I
will write them." [Hebrews 10. 15 - 16] But, we must study to show
ourselves approved, "Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD OF
TRUTH." [2 Timothy 2. 15]

"The ANOINTING (HOLY SPIRIT) which you have received from HIM abides in
you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same
ANOINTING (THE COMFORTER) teaches you concerning all things, and is
true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in
HIM." [1 John 2. 27] Through HIS blessed HOLY SPIRIT, GOD THE DESIGNER,
reveals HIMSELF — "Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world, but the SPIRIT WHO is from GOD, that we might know the things
that have been freely given to us by GOD. These things we also speak,
not in words which man's wisdom teaches but which the HOLY SPIRIT
teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual." [1 Corinthians 2.
12 - 13]

"But as it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have
entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for
those who love HIM. —But GOD has revealed them to us through HIS
SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep things of GOD.
For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man
which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of GOD except the
SPIRIT OF GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 9 - 11]

"Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of GOD!
How unsearchable are HIS judgments and HIS ways past finding out!"
[Romans 11. 33] As we truly seek HIM, HE delights in showing HIMSELF
to us. And, there is such sweet, rich joy in knowing and serving the
LORD GOD, CREATOR & KING!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
We praise YOU, MOST HOLY GOD and ask that YOUR SWEET SPIRIT be manifest
to us in all YOUR works, so that reverence for YOU may fill the hearts
of YOUR creatures. May all the children of men bow before YOU in
humility and unite to do YOUR will with one heart, that all may
acknowledge that YOURS alone is the power, dominion and majesty; and
that YOUR NAME is exalted above all.

Post  Admin on Tue 02 Jul 2013, 10:50 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Know from whence you came, and where you are going, and to WHOM you will
give account for your deeds.

GLORIFIED VISION
"In the midst of the seven lamp-stands ONE like the SON OF MAN, clothed
with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden
band." [Revelation 1. 13]

This is a sanctuary scene, a priestly scene, as viewed in the OLD
COVENANT Tabernacle and Temple . The ANCIENT OF DAYS is seen inspecting
the Church (HIS people) just as Aaron inspected the candlestick in the
Holy Place noticing the oil supply, the condition of the wicks,
and snuffing the carbon, if necessary, so the lights would burn bright.
The lamp-stands represent testimony "You are the light of the
world" and "judgment begins at the HOUSE OF GOD" so MESSIAH YESHUA
trims and refines HIS Church into perfection.

"Clothed with garments down to HIS feet" symbolizes dignity and honor.
The LORD JESUS, in a priestly robe, is a Priest; a royal garment, a
King; in a judicial attire, a Judge (Prophet). This robe is made of
linen which represents righteousness (to be holy). The Holy Garments of
linen are the mitre (head-dress, turban), broidered coat, girdle and the
breeches. Symbolically, they are worn to show: the Mitre holiness
of thought; Broidered Coat holiness of heart; Girdle
holiness of service; Breeches holiness of flesh.

The robe was seamless indicating no beginning and no ending. The hem of
the blue (heavens color) robe had alternating bells and pomegranates.
Pomegranates with their multitude of seed indicating fruitfulness. The
bell, which is gold, has a tongue in it. Gold for DIVINE, a tongue for
telling the testimony. The bells ring clearly because of the pomegranate
between each bell. Our LORD JESUS wore the fruit and bells spiritually
all around the hem of HIS seamless garment as HE walked upon the earth.
HE had a clear ringing testimony which was backed up by the fruit of HIS
life.

The JEWISH TALMUD proclaims: "The Bells said to the fruit-bearing Trees
Why do you not make any noise? The Trees reply Our
fruits are sufficient advertisement for us."

"The Golden Belt around HIS breast" speaks of HIS righteousness; the
gold, HIS Divine Glory. As the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, YESHUA will usher in
the "Day of Vengeance." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 4] Because HE is the
SON OF MAN, HE will judge all humanity. "For as the FATHER has life in
HIMSELF, so HE has granted the SON to have life in HIMSELF, and has
given HIM authority to execute judgment also, because HE is the SON OF
MAN." [John 5. 26 - 27]

"HIS head and HIS hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and HIS
eyes like a flame of fire." [Revelation 1. 14] "HIS head and hairs,
white as wool" illustrates JESUS' fatherhood and patriarchal dignity and
wisdom as the ANCIENT of DAYS. The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is all this!
In HIM is all the full divine perfections of GOD'S nature embodied. In
HIM is all the hidden treasure of divine wisdom and spiritual
illumination.

"Eyes as a flame of fire" shows intelligence - burning, all penetrating
intelligence. . . power to read secrets, to bring hidden things to
light, to warm and search all hearts at a single glance. Nothing is
hidden from HIM WHO is OMNISCIENT GOD.

"HIS feet were like fine copper, as if refined in a furnace, and HIS
voice as the sound of many waters." [Revelation 1. 15] "HIS feet were
like burning copper refined in a furnace." Copper represents judgment.
"I will glorify the place where MY feet rest." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 60. 13
Tanakh, Nevi'im] "HIS feet shall tread down HIS enemies; they shall
tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of ALMIGHTY GOD."
[Revelation 19. 15; Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 6]

"Voice as the sound of many waters" show that HE is powerful, yet
altogether lovely. "See that you do not refuse HIM WHO speaks, for if
they did not escape WHO refused HIM WHO spoke on earth, much more shall
we not escape if we turn away from HIM WHO speaks from heaven WHOSE
VOICE then shook the earth." [Hebrews 12. 25; Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 25.
30-31; Psalms/Tehillym 29]

"HE had in HIS right hand seven stars, out of HIS mouth went a sharp
two-edged sword, and HIS countenance was like the sun shining in its
strength." [Revelation 1. 16] "In HIS right hand seven stars"
here the LORD JESUS is seen upholding and sustaining the ministry of HIS
Church. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 10] "Out of HIS mouth...a sharp Two-Edged
Sword" this is HIS OWN WORD, the LIVING, ACTIVE, POWERFUL WORD OF GOD,
by which HE shall judge the Church. [Hebrew 4. 1 2] "HIS countenance
as the sun shines in HIS strength." MESSIAH YESHUA is the GREAT CREATIVE
SOURCE from which all light comes. HE is the "SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. "
[Malachi/Malakhi 4. 2] JESUS is "the LIGHT of the Eternal City."
[Revelation 21. 23; 22. 5]

"And when I saw HIM, I fell at HIS feet as dead. But HE laid HIS right
hand on me saying to me Do not be afraid; I am the FIRST and the
LAST." [Revelation 1. 17] Here the glory of MESSIAH' S presence is too
great words cannot describe HIM HE is so overwhelming to
see, John is completely prostrated as though dead. But, John is
reassured by the words of the LORD Fear Not! John's fears and ours
are forever gone when we realize MESSIAH YESHUA'S three-fold revelation
of HIMSELF: "I am HE WHO lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive
forevermore, Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."
[Revelation 1. 18] "I am the FIRST and LAST" now MESSIAH shows
HIS deity. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 4; 48. 12; Revelation 22. 13] "I am HE
WHO lives and was dead, and behold, I AM ALIVE FOREVERMORE. " [Revelation
1. 18] The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the LIVING ONE WHO tasted death on our
behalf, Who was victorious over all and came forth CONQUEROR & GLORIOUS
KING.

"I have the keys of death and hell." The LORD JESUS holds the keys
(authority, power over) of hell. [Revelation 1. 18] JESUS, the KING
ETERNAL, opens and none can shut, HE shuts and none can open. While
death still holds the bodies of the Saints temporarily, their spirits
are no longer in Hades, but in the heavenlies with JESUS CHRIST THE
LORD. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church in the LORD
YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. Hallelu' YAH!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel
!
O LORD our GOD, help us to see ourselves as YOU see us. Make us
conscious of our sins and failings done openly or in secret; cause us to
turn from our evil ways. Give us strength to make amends for our
wrongdoings, and grant us pardon from our transgressions. Guide us by
the LIGHT of YOUR council. May we ever find strength in YOU, our SHIELD
and EXCEEDINGLY GREAT JOY. Praised are YOU, GIVER of peace.

Post  Admin on Mon 01 Jul 2013, 7:13 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you don't know where you are going, you should at least know how to
get there.

CURSED FOR DIVIDING MY LAND
"For lo! in those days and in that time, when I restore the fortunes of
Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down
to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will contend with them over MY
very own people, Israel, which they scattered among the nations. For
they divided MY Land among themselves and cast lots for MY people."
[Joel (Yoel) 3. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

How can there be any question as to WHOM the land of Israel belongs, or
who is to be in possession of it? It was given to the Israelites as an
"everlasting inheritance" from the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, the KING &
RIGHTEOUS JUDGE. There are numerous SCRIPTURES confirming that the
lands of all the earth belong to GOD MOST HIGH. On the day the LORD GOD
"cut the covenant" with Avram (Abraham) the HOLY ONE said— "To your
offspring I assign this Land, from the River of Egypt (Nile) to the
great river, the River Euphrates." [Genesis (Bereshith) 15. 18 Tanakh,
Torah]

Speaking to Moses, the ALMIGHTY ONE said— "if you will obey ME
faithfully and keep MY covenant, you shall be MY treasured possession
among all the peoples. Indeed, all the earth is MINE." [Exodus (Shemot)
19. 5 Tanakh, Torah] "The Land must not be sold beyond reclaim, for
the Land is MINE; you are but strangers resident with ME." [Leviticus
(Vayikra) 25. 23 Tanakh, Torah] Moses was even instructed as to the
division of the Land among the tribes, "These are the names of the men
through whom THE LAND shall be apportioned (divided) as an INHERITANCE
FOR YOU: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun. And you shall
take a leader of each tribe through whom the Land shall be apportioned
(divided) for the inheritance. " [Numbers (B'Midvar) 34. 16 - 18 Tanakh,
Torah]

The ALMIGHTY ONE gives the land to whoever HE chooses: Speaking to
Joshua, the LORD GOD said, "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you;
I will not fail you nor forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for
to this people you shall divide, as an inheritance, the Land which I
swore to their fathers to assign to them. But you must be very strong
and resolute to observe faithfully all the Teachings that MY servant
Moses enjoined upon you. Do not deviate from it to the right or to the
left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Let not this BOOK OF
THE LAW cease from your lips, but recite it day and night, so that you
may observe faithfully all that is written in it. Only then will you
prosper in your undertakings and only then will you be successful."
[Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 5 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them— When you cross
the Jordan into the Land of Canaan, you shall DISPOSSESS (drive out) all
the inhabitants of the Land; destroy all their engraved objects; you
shall destroy all their molded images; and you shall demolish all their
cult places. And you shall take possession of the Land and settle in it,
for I have assigned the Land to you to possess. You shall divide the
Land among yourselves by lot, clan by clan, as an inheritance. ..you
shall inherit your portion according to your ancestral tribes." [Numbers
(B'Midvar) 33. 51 - 54 Tanakh, Torah]

Although the children of Israel disobeyed the LORD GOD, in HIS mercy, HE
will bring them back and give them their inheritance as HE promised to
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. "I give to you and your offspring to come,
all the Land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be
their GOD." [Genesis (Bereshith) 17. 8 Tanakh, Torah] "As the LORD
lives who brought up the children of Israel out of the northland and out
of all the lands to which HE had banished them. For I will bring them
back to their Land which I gave to their fathers." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah)
16. 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "For the days are coming —declares the
LORD— when I will restore the fortunes of MY people Israel and Judah
—said the LORD; and I will bring them back to the Land that I gave
their fathers, and they shall possess it." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 30. 3
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Assuredly, thus says the LORD GOD— I will now restore the fortunes
of Jacob and take the whole House of Israel back in love; and I will be
zealous for MY HOLY NAME. They will forget their shame and all their
trespasses that they committed in being unfaithful to ME, when they
dwelt in their own land secure and untroubled. When I have brought them
back from among the peoples and gathered them out of the lands of their
enemies and have manifested MY holiness through them in the sight of
many nations, they shall know that I the LORD am their GOD when, having
exiled them among the nations, I gather them back into their land and
leave none of them behind. I will never again hide MY face from them;
for I will pour out MY SPIRIT upon the House of Israel - declares the
LORD GOD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 39. 25 - 29 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Remember, there is a curse on everyone who curses Israel: "Cursed be
they who curses you (Israel), Blessed be they who bless you (Israel)!"
[Genesis (Bereshith) 27. 29 Tanakh, Torah] A wise and understanding
heart makes the best judgment.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
The sword comes into the world because of justice being delayed, because
of justice being perverted, and because of those who render wrong
decisions.
May the MASTER of mercy, show HIS mercy and compassion to all of you,
our beloved.
"HEAVENLY FATHER, teach us to emulate YOUR oWN grace and mercy.
Cause YOUR truth to fall upon our hearts like seed upon fertile ground.
And, may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more deeply and to find in it
the beauty of holiness." Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 3 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Sat 29 Jun 2013, 10:09 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A miracle cannot prove what is impossible; it is helpful only as
confirmation of what is possible with CREATOR GOD.

PATHS OF THE LORD
"All the LORD'S paths are mercy, steadfast love and truth for those who
keep the decrees of HIS Covenant and HIS Testimonies. " [Psalms
(Tehillym) 25. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

One of the great promises in HOLY SCRIPTURE is that ALMIGHTY GOD will
lead those who obediently follow HIS will and honour HIS BLESSED WORD.
"In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will direct your paths and make
them smooth." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

These paths have experienced the mercy of our LOVING CREATOR and confirm
HIS truth, if we obey HIS WORD — that is, if we keep HIS Covenant of
Grace and believe the promise of HIS Testimonies. They are paths
leading to life eternal. "YOU will teach me the path of life. In YOUR
presence is perfect joy; delights are ever in YOUR right hand." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 16. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The paths which the ALL-WISE MASTER directs us to may seem unusual,
dark, discouraging or dangerous, but we have HIS promises that they lead
to joy and peace and HIS great light. "The path of the righteous is
like the radiant sunlight, ever brightening until noon." [Proverbs
(Mishle) 4. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The pathway leads to true wisdom of the
HOLY ONE which offers "pleasant ways, and all her paths, peaceful."
[Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "HE guides me in the paths
of righteousness as befits HIS NAME." [Psalms (Tehillym) 23. 3 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

The paths may be by still waters or through valleys of deepest darkness,
but GOD'S goodness and mercy follows us in these paths, and finally
leads us Home to be forever with the LORD.

When troubles come our way, if we have difficulty discerning the right
path to follow, still OMNIPOTENT LORD GOD is directing our every step,
we can find guidance in HIS PRECIOUS HOLY WORD, for "YOUR WORD is a LAMP
to my feet, a LIGHT for my path." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 115 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

In bold confidence and assurance, we are always able to pray, "Lead me
in the path of YOUR commandments; for that is my concern and my
delight." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 35 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Show me YOUR
way, O LORD, and lead me on a path, because of my watchful foes."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] All who seek HIM early and
love HIS Eternal Law are definitely rich, extremely blessed, and will
have a fullness of indescribable joy.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
I will worship and praise YOU, my GOD, O KING; and I will bless YOUR
NAME forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; and
HIS greatness is unsearchable.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
No act is an orphan.

GARMENT FRINGES
"The LORD spoke to Moses saying— Speak to the Israelite people and
instruct them to make for themselves fringes (tassels) on the corners of
their garments throughout the ages; let them attach a cord of blue to
the fringe at each corner. That shall be your fringes; look at it and
recall all the commandments of the LORD and observe them, so you do not
follow your heart and eyes in your lustful urge. Thus you shall be
reminded to observe all My commandments and to be holy to your GOD."
[Numbers (B'Midvar) 15. 37 - 40 Tanakh, Torah]

The Prayer Shawl (Hebrew: Tallith) is still worn today by observant
Jewish males and the Fringes (Hebrew: "Tsitzith" ; — translated
"wings, tassels, hem") are still on the corners, as commanded by the
MOST HOLY ONE. Being both, an obedient dedicated Jew and under the Law,
MESSIAH YESHUA wore this apparel as well.

YESHUA ha'MASHIACH fulfilled prophesy even in the wearing of this
garment. "But for you who revere MY NAME the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
(victory) shall rise to bring healing in HIS wings (referring to the
tassels of HIS garment)." [Malachi (Malakhi) 4. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Our
GREAT HIGH PRIEST, the LORD JESUS, laid aside HIS "glory garments" and
became THE PERFECT MAN.

Now we can understand more clearly the scene where MESSIAH YESHUA and
HIS disciples are going to the home of Jairus, after he pleaded for
YESHUA to "come lay HIS hand on her (Jairus' daughter) that she may be
healed and live." [Mark 5. 21 - 24] As the BELOVED SAVIOR was nearing,
"suddenly a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from
behind and touched the hem (fringe) of His garment. She said to herself
— IF only I may touch HIS garment, I shall be made well. — But
JESUS turned around, and when HE saw her HE said— Be of good cheer
daughter, your faith has made you well.— The woman was made well
from that hour." [Matthew 9. 20 - 22]

It is again recorded that when the LORD JESUS went to the town of
Gennesaret, all the sick who were brought to HIM "were made perfectly
well when they touched the hem (fringe) of HIS garment." [Matthew 14. 34
- 36]

"When I passed by you again I saw that your time for love had arrived.
So I spread MY wing over you (an act symbolizing espousal/provider) and
covered your nakedness, and I entered into a covenant with you by oath
— declares the LORD GOD; thus you became MINE." [Ezekiel
(Yehezke-El) 16. 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im; also Ruth/Roos 3. 9 — where Boaz
takes Ruth under his wing as her near kinsman.]

The fringes (tsitzith/wings) are attached to the "prayer shawl" to
symbolize the commandments of MOST HOLY GOD. In the wearing these
fringes the Israelites are reminded continually of GOD'S Law that they
might obey HIS voice and observe HIS statutes...thus receiving HIS
wondrous blessings and be established as HIS holy people.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises & consolations
that may be uttered in this world. May peace abundant descend from
heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Post  Admin on Thu 27 Jun 2013, 11:06 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Staying alive is not the same thing as living with a purpose.

READINESS, A COMMAND
"Sanctify the LORD GOD in your hearts, and always be ready to give a
defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you,
with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame
you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in YESHUA, the
PRINCE may be ashamed." [1 Peter 3. 15 - 16]

Peter is urgently advising the pilgrims in the world of the importance
of being prepared with answers for the increasingly growing hostility
toward the only True Faith in MESSIAH. Opposition to CHRISTians requires
an ability to defend the faith and conduct. Peter is encouraging
believers to be ready to do so in an intelligent and gracious way. [1
Peter 3. 13 - 16] Three times he reminds us that we will suffer, but it
should be for righteousness sake and not as a result of sinful behavior.
[1 Peter 3. 17; 2. 20; 4. 15-16]

The Apostle Paul's testimony was of his confidence that, "He who has
begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of JESUS CHRIST;
just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you
in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and
confirmation of the GOSPEL, you all are partakers with me of grace."
[Philippians 1. 6 - 7] Continuing by saying, "knowing that I am
appointed for the defense of the GOSPEL" [Philippians 1. 17] stressing
the vital importance of defending the GLORIOUS GOSPEL, affirming his
determination to defend the GOSPEL, and reminding his fellow CHRISTian
brother that they also are participants in its defense.

These facts are sufficient to show that the GOOD NEWS does need
defending by those who embrace it. Defense or apologetics refers to a
formal, carefully structured defense, speaking of a careful, scientific
presentation of arguments defending the GOSPEL from its enemies.

The SAVING GOSPEL of the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH encompasses HIS
great works of creation, incarnation, atoning death, triumphant
resurrection, and soon-coming Kingdom was under attack in Paul's
days, just as it is today. We urgently need to be prepared to give an
effective defense wherever and whenever needed.

Several passages in the OLD COVENANT encourage the believer to be
standing up for righteousness: "The fear of the LORD is the beginning
(best part) of knowledge." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
"The heart of the righteous studies (Hebrew: hagah rehears,
ponder, meditate, mourn, mutter) to answer." [Proverbs (Mishle) 15. 28
Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the
answer of the tongue is from the LORD." [Proverbs (Mishle) 16. 1 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

Readiness is a command, not an option. CHRIST-like- ones will suffer,
but our faith should not waver counting it a privilege to share the
knowledge and the suffering of our LORD and helping others to overcome
their bitter and disquieted attitude, replaced it with dependency on and
confidence in GOD MOST HIGH. When the MESSIAH, YESHUA THE CHIEF
SHEPHERD & OVERSEER of believers appears, those who know HIM will be
glorified. Thus, it behooves us to study and use CHRISTIAN evidences
diligently in our witness.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
We thank YOU, O GOD, for YOUR providence which keeps the spirit of
truth, justice and peace alive in the hearts of men. We pray for YOU to
instill us with holy zeal to work in the cause for which it was
established. May we live in freedom everywhere and unite us to sing a
new song of salvation and deliverance. Impart YOUR blessing, O GOD on
our homes that they be a refuge for weary souls; and grant the blessing
of liberty, justice and peace to all YOUR children now and in the hard
and dark days to come. In YOU alone is found strength in trouble, light
in darkness, and hope in adversity. Amen!
Tomorrow - June 26th - the 18th of Tammuz, the Golden Calf was
destroyed (traditional) . [Exodus/Shemot 32.20-35]

Post  Admin on Tue 25 Jun 2013, 6:09 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Reality is only a memory ahead of its time.

UNSTABLE FOUNDATIONS
"For the LORD will exonerate HIS people, have compassion on and take
revenge for HIS servants, when HE sees that their power is gone, and
neither bond nor free is left." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 36 Tanakh,
Torah]

"The Law is powerless, decisions fail and justice never emerges; for
wicked villains surround the righteous men — therefore perverse,
deformed judgment proceeds." [Habakkuk 1. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Today, at
this very moment in time, these portions of HOLY SCRIPTURE are happening
now and being fulfilled daily.

Most people, Jew and Gentile, are blinded walking about in intense
darkness. "They do not know the thoughts or designs of the LORD, they do
not discern or understand HIS counsel or intent; HE has gathered them
like cut grain to the threshing floor." [Micah (Michah) 4. 12 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

Evil thinking and wicked life-styles thrive and flourish when those in
authority are making decisions and passing laws to our devastation
bringing total destruction. "All the foundations of the earth are
unstable" [Psalms/Tehillym 82. 5] for the HOLY ETERNAL ONE will shake
the foundations of the earth in the wrath of HIS judgment. The Hebrew
word for foundation is "mowcad" portrayed as the footing, base,
groundwork or cornerstone.

"When the power of the holy people has come to an end, then all these
things shall be fulfilled." [Daniel (Danyel) 12. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The Jewish teachers of the Law say it this way— "When the power of
the holy people is completely shattered... then MESSIAH will come." This
also is truth, "I will shake the heavens, and the earth will leap out of
its place, at the fury of the LORD OF HOSTS on the day of HIS fierce
burning wrath." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 13. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Because of
the extreme wickedness of all the nations, "the sun and the moon are
darkened, and stars withdraw their brightness. The LORD will roar from
Zion and shout aloud from Jerusalem, so that heaven and earth tremble.
But the LORD will be a SHELTER to HIS people, a REFUGE to the children
of Israel." [Joel (Yoel) 3. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Furthermore, the POSSESSOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH says— "In just a little
while longer I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and dry
land; I will shake all the nations. And the PRECIOUS DESIRE of all
nations shall come, and I will fill this Temple with glory, said the
LORD OF HOSTS." [Haggai (Chagai) 2. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"See that you do not refuse HIM WHO speaks, for if they did not escape
who refused HIM WHO spoke on earth. Much more shall we not escape if we
turn away from HIM WHO speaks from heaven, WHOSE VOICE then shook the
earth; but now HE has promised, saying — Yet once more I shake not
only the earth, but also heaven." [Hebrews 12. 25 - 26]

The LORD GOD only requires you to ask HIM into your life and seek the
REDEEMER OF ISRAEL, "So I say to you, Ask! and it will be given to you;
Seek! and you will find; Knock! and it will be opened to you." [Luke 11.
9] Then, HE will exalt and glorify you. "Seek the LORD while HE can be
found, call to HIM while HE is near. Let the wicked give up his ways,
the sinful man his plans; let them turn back to the LORD, and HE will
have mercy and pardon him; for our GOD freely forgives." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 55. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Wonderful! Wonderful! is our
LOVING, FAITHFUL, REDEEMING LORD GOD & SAVIOR!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Let not your heart be troubled, glorify the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, the
TRUE KING of all ages — allow HIS SPIRIT to comfort and transform
your life. HE can!
17 Tammuz 5773 (June 25th this year) is Tzom Tammuz — the Fast of
Tammuz, the traditional day that Moses broke the tablets
[Exodus32.6- 19]; the Temple service was disrupted [Jeremiah 52.6-7]; and
the walls of Jerusalem were breached. Three weeks of mourning, between
the straits, begin on the 17th of Tammuz and Tisha b'Av — the
historical days of misfortune and calamity for the Jewish people.
During this time, both the 1st and 2nd Temples were destroyed, among
other tragedies.

Post  Admin on Tue 25 Jun 2013, 6:02 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Goodness makes greatness truly valuable, and greatness makes goodness
much more serviceable.

SONS BY FAITH
"The LORD said to Abram Go forth from your native land and from
your father's house to the land that I will show you. I will make you a
great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you
shall be a blessing, a standard by which blessing is invoked. I will
bless those who bless you and curse him who curses you; and all the
families of the earth shall bless themselves by you." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 12. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Torah]

As far as we know, all people were Gentiles (Hebrew: goy/goyim) until
the days of Abraham, but with Abraham the Hebrew race began. These
descendants of Abraham (through Isaac) developed into 12 tribes called
Israelites, named after Abram's grandson, Jacob (whose name was changed
to Israel). {In Judaism there is a custom called "Shinnuy ha'Shem
(change of name)" also see Genesis/Bereshith 32. 28} One of Jacob's
(Israel) sons was called Judah, who was the first Jew. [However, Israel
is often referred to as Judah or Jew in Scripture Paul was of the
tribe of Benjamin which tribe is classed with the Jews, yet he says
"I am an Israelite of the tribe of Benjamin." [Romans 11.1] All
who are not the natural descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob
are called Gentiles, whatever their nationality may be.

The word "goy" in the HEBREW SCRIPTURES is generally translated nation,
heathen, gentile and literally means any nation including the nation of
Israel! In one particular instance Israel is called "Goy" by CREATOR
GOD HIMSELF: When HE promised Abraham HE would make of him a great
nation, the word used here for nation is goy! Today, however, the word
goy (Gentile) has acquired the meaning referring to anybody who is not a
Jew.

GOD ALMIGHTY declares both Jews and Gentiles to be sinners. "ALL have
sinned and fallen short of the glory of GOD" [Romans 3. 23] is one
of the many statements concerning this fact. Therefore the Jew standing
before the LORD OF GLORY is the same as any Gentile. He is just as
"lost" as any Gentile who rejects the SAVIOR. GOD commands that all
repent from their sins, be converted and turn to HIM. Jewish persons
who are not religious as well as those who are following the practices
of TALMUDIC Judaism today must be converted even as Gentiles must be
converted who are observing religious activities but are not following
the faith of the NEW COVENANT. "What then? Are we better than they? Not
at all. For we have previously charged both Jews and Greeks that they
are all under sin." [Romans 3. 9] "As it is written There is none
righteous, no, not one...There is no fear of GOD before their eyes."
[Romans 3. 10, 18]

HOLY GOD OMNIPOTENT is calling out a people from among both Jews and
Gentiles to be in the CONGREGATION OF THE LORD. When a Jew becomes a
believer in MESSIAH YESHUA, he automatically enters into the NEW
COVENANT relationship with GOD. Gentiles also find GOD through this NEW
COVENANT and so the wall between Jew and Gentile is thereby removed.

As before stated, a Jew is a lineal descendant of Abraham through Isaac
and Jacob. He does not cease to be a descendant of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob when he believes and accepts YESHUA as the JEWISH MESSIAH. He is
still a Jew genealogically. This does not make him a Gentile, but
instead he becomes a better Jew, a fulfilled, completed, GOD-fearing,
GOD-honoring Jew.

A Gentile is one who is not a descendant of Abraham through Isaac and
Jacob. He does not become a Jew by believing and accepting the JEWISH
MESSIAH YESHUA, but enters into the NEW COVENANT with the Jewish
believers and also becomes a better Gentile, a fulfilled, completed,
GOD-fearing, GOD-honoring Gentile.

The NEW COVENANT teaches that true CHRIST-like- ones (distinctive ones,
pleasant, loving, good, easy to get along with, kindly, benevolent,
excellent, gracious, generous, etc.) from both the Jewish and Gentile
ranks, are the NEW COVENANT believers of Jeremiah 31:31-34.

"Just as Abraham believed GOD, and it was accounted to him for
righteousness. Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons
of Abraham. And the SCRIPTURE, foreseeing that GOD would justify the
Gentiles by faith, preached the GOSPEL to Abraham beforehand,
saying In you all the nations shall be blessed. So then those who
are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham." [Galatians 3. 6 - 9]

Notice that the Galatians Gentiles never were called Jews; they were
called "sons of Abraham." The truth in the forgoing SCRIPTURE verses is
concerning the "Faith" of Abraham and all those who have that same faith
are considered righteous along with him. {Abraham was before Moses so
then did not observe the Mosaic Law to be righteous. The Covenant with
Abraham [Genesis/Bereshith 12. 1 3] is to be distinguished from
the OLD COVENANT with Israel. [Exodus/Shemot 19. 15] The ABRAHAMIC
COVENANT is still valid and applicable today. The Law of Moses was added
several hundred years later but it did not disannul the ABRAHAMIC
COVENANT. The Mosaic Law was not invalidated with the Cross, and the
ABRAHAMIC COVENANT is still in effect. [Galatians 3. 17]}

Because Gentile believers are called the sons of Abraham by faith in
SCRIPTURE, does not make them spiritual JEWS. Remember, not all the
natural children of Abraham are Jews. Arabs are not classed as Jews,
yet they are the natural descendants of Abraham! So it is in the
CHRISTian realm. It is not enough to be a child of Abraham to make one
a Jew! Gentiles who are of Abraham' s "seed" are not made Jews by their
faith but do become partakers in the blessings of the JEWISH COVENANTS.
They become spiritual Gentiles and are called heirs according the
promise "And if you are CHRIST'S then you are Abraham' s
seed, and heirs according to the promise." [Galatians 3. 29]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
O KING, HELPER, SAVIOR & PROTECTOR, blessed are YOU , O LORD, the SHIELD
of Abraham. We give thanks to YOU for our lives which are in YOUR hand,
for our souls which are ever in YOUR keeping, for YOUR wondrous
providence and for YOUR continuous goodness, which YOU bestow upon us
day by day. Truly, YOUR mercies never fail and YOUR loving-kindness
never ceases. Therefore do we forever put our trust in YOU.

Post  Admin on Mon 24 Jun 2013, 3:08 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is we who are lost when we don't help others find their way.

PLEASING GOD
"I know, GOD, that YOU search the heart and have pleasure in
uprightness. " [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 29. 17 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word ratsah means pleasing, acceptable, satisfied, favorable,
delight, joy. The WORD OF GOD, the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, and HIS HOLY NAME
are magnified above all things, "YOU have exalted YOUR NAME, YOUR WORD,
above all." [Psalms (Tehillym) 138. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The OMNIPOTENT
LORD is well pleased for His righteousness sake; "HE will magnify HIS
TEACHINGS (HIS WRITTEN WORD) and make it honorable." [Isaiah (Yeshayah)
42. 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

It was for a blessing to His creation and to the children of Israel
that the Law was given. "It pleased the LORD to bless Israel ." [Numbers
(B'Midvar) 24. 1 Tanakh, Torah] And, "it pleased the LORD to undertake
and make you HIS people" [1 Samuel/Shemuel Alef 12. 22] for HIS pleasure
and for the sake of HIS GREAT NAME. Therefore, we have the confident
assurance that our LOVING GOD will never leave, forsake, or let go of
HIS OWN. All who obey HIS TEACHINGS can be exceedingly glad and shout
for joy and say continually, "Extolled be the LORD, WHO has pleasure in
the well-being of HIS servant." [Psalms (Tehillym) 35. 27 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

"The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear HIM, in those who depend on
HIS mercy." [Psalms (Tehillym) 147. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "For the LORD
takes pleasure in HIS people; HE adorns the lowly with the glory of
salvation." [Psalms (Tehillym) 149. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The Almighty
One "opens their ear to instruction, and commands that they turn from
iniquity. IF they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in
prosperity, and their years in pleasures." [Job (Iyob) 36. 10 - 11
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Therefore, make it your personal goal "to be well pleasing to HIM
(MESSIAH YESHUA). For we must all appear before the "JUDGMENT SEAT OF
CHRIST" — that each one may receive the things done in the body,
according to what he has done, whether good or bad." [2 Corinthians 5. 9
- 10] "For this reason we do not cease to pray for you, and to ask
that you may be filled with the knowledge of HIS will in all wisdom and
spiritual understanding; that you may have a walk worthy of the LORD,
fully pleasing HIM, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in
the knowledge of GOD; strengthened with all might, according to HIS
glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving
thanks to the FATHER WHO has qualified us to be partakers of the
inheritance of the saints in the light." [Colossians 1. 9 - 12]

"Now may the GOD OF PEACE WHO brought up our LORD JESUS from the dead,
that GREAT SHEPHERD of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting
covenant, make you complete in every good work to do HIS will, working
in you what is well pleasing in HIS sight, through MESSIAH YESHUA, to
Whom be glory forever and ever. Amen" [Hebrews 13. 20 - 21]

Since it is our HEAVENLY FATHER'S "good pleasure to give you the
Kingdom" [Luke 12. 32], we will receive whatever we ask from HIM
"because we keep HIS commandments and do those things that are pleasing
in HIS sight. And this is HIS commandment: That we should believe on the
NAME OF HIS SON JESUS THE CHRIST and LOVE one another." [1 John 3. 22]
Then, you will be "a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well
pleasing to GOD." [Philippians 4. 18] And that is a wonderfully
achievable possibility!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE
dwells within us, bless you abundantly and guard you, our dear ones in
the coming week. May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present
throughout each day so they are filled with love and unselfishness —
that happiness and contentment may abide in our homes. In tranquil joy
of spirit, with pure speech and holy melody exclaim: "Holy, holy, holy
is the LORD OF HOSTS, the whole earth is full of HIS glory!"
Have a good week and allow the love of the MASTER to shine forth from
your lives, into the dark and dying world.

Post  Admin on Sat 22 Jun 2013, 9:24 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Love reaching up is adoration; love reaching out is affection; love that
stoops is grace.

THE SEVENTH DAY
"On the seventh day ELOHIYM finished the work HE had been doing, and HE
ceased on the seventh day from all HIS work which HE had done. Then
ELOHIYM blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because on it HE
ceased from all the work of creation that HE had done." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 2. 2 3 Tanakh, Torah]

Sanctification is a BIBLICAL doctrine that has long been controversial
and often seems difficult to comprehend. However, it is not a condition
of super-spirituality which only certain saints can achieve, even if
many think of it that way. The term is applied not only to certain
people, but also to special things and events.

The first exploitation of the term makes it highly important in defining
the usage. This text in Genesis refers to the setting apart of a
regular day of the week, GOD is sanctifying one day on which HE ceased
from HIS great work of creation; meaning this day is to be set apart for
use in HIS service. It is interesting to note that all the days of
creation end with the phrase, "evening and morning." [Genesis/Bereshith
1. 5, 8, 13, 19, 23, 31] However, on the seventh day, Sabbath, this
declaration is not stated. The reason, I believe, is that the
OMNIPRESENT GOD OF HEAVEN desires for us to enter HIS rest and
continually abide with HIM.

Paul firmly encourages us who "names the name of CHRIST [to] depart from
iniquity" and "be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the
MASTER, prepared for every good work." [2 Timothy 2. 19, 21] We cannot
do this without DIVINE guidance and help. We are "beloved by the LORD,
because GOD, from the beginning chose you for salvation through
sanctification by the SPIRIT and belief in the truth." [2 Thessalonians
2. 13] In HIS HIGH PRIESTLY prayer, the PRECIOUS LORD YESHUA prayed for
us "Sanctify them by YOUR TRUTH. YOUR WORD is TRUTH." [John 17. 17]
And, "MESSIAH loved the church and gave HIMSELF for her, that HE might
sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the WORD."
[Ephesians 6. 25 - 26]

Every sincere believer has been set apart to GOD because MESSIAH HIMSELF
is "became for us wisdom from GOD and righteousness and
sanctification and redemption." [1 Corinthians 1. 30] Truly, "mercy and
truth have met together; righteousness and peace have kissed." [Psalms
/Tehillym 85. 10]

We serve a MIGHTY, LOVING GOD and we need to recognize that we have been
"set apart" for HIM. Therefore, "HE who called you is HOLY, you also be
holy in all your conduct, because it is written "Be holy, for I am
HOLY." [1 Peter 1. 15 - 16] It is properly compelling for us to think
and behave accordingly.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel
!
Welcome Sabbath, come, let us welcome the Bride of the Week. . . may its
radiance illumine our hearts as we kindle the candles of Sabbath!
Light is the symbol of the DIVINE, the LORD is my LIGHT and my
SALVATION. Light is the symbol of the DIVINE in man; the spirit of man
is the light of the LORD.
Light is the symbol of the DIVINE Law, for the commandment is a Lamp and
the Law is a Light. Light is the symbol of Israel 's mission. I, the
LORD, have set you for a covenant of the people, for a light to the
nations. Thus, in the spirit of our ancient tradition that hallows and
unites Israel in all lands and all ages, let us go forth with the light
of GOD'S WORD to the nations as HE commanded.

Post  Admin on Fri 21 Jun 2013, 8:01 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Keep three things in mind that you may escape the results of evil: Know
where you came from, where you are going, and before Whom you will have
to give a full account.

MOMENTS
"For a little while I forsook you; but with great mercies and vast love
I will bring you back. In a little wrath, for a moment, I hid MY face
from you; but with kindness everlasting I will have mercy on you and
take you back in love, says the LORD your REDEEMER." [Isaiah (Yeshayah)
54. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This compassionately gracious promise to Israel gives a praiseworthy
insight into the character of the LORD GOD as well as the relation of
time-to-eternity. The DIVINE LOVING OMNISCIENT CREATOR is also a GOD OF
WRATH — for HE must punish unrepentant sin in HIS people.
Nevertheless HE is much more the GOD OF MERCY. HIS prolonged judgment on
HIS chosen people, Israel, is only for a tiny moment compared to HIS
everlasting kindness toward redeemed Israel in the ages to come.

This theme occurs a number of times in HOLY SCRIPTURE: "For HIS anger
endures but for a moment" David said, "when HE is pleased there is life;
weeping may linger for the night, but at dawn there are shouts of joy."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 30. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] To those faithful to the
EMINENT ONE during a time of judgment against their nation or against
the world, the ALMIGHTY says— "Go! MY people, enter your chambers,
lock your door behind you; hide but a little moment, until the
indignation passes." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 26. 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

A time for testing or a time for judgment may persistently continue for
many days, months or even years. Comparatively, however, this is only a
moment in relation to an eternity of the blessing to come.

The word "moment (Hebrew: rega)" plainly expresses sudden, instant, wink
of the eye, quick. Applied explicitly to NEW COVENANT CHRISTians, it is
said— "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is
working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." [2
Corinthians 4. 17] "For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new
earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they shall never come
to mind. In all MY Sacred Mount, the Holy Land, nothing evil or vile
shall be done— says the LORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17, 25 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

Mercifully and lovingly the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL allows trials to
discipline, guide and develop us. This works to our advantage as
impurities are being removed, leaving behind only that which is lasting,
precious and pleasing. The goal of our lives is to bring praise, honour
and glory to our LORD GOD and MESSIAH YESHUA. If troubles, sufferings,
and grief can best achieve this supreme priority, so let it be. May the
OMNIPOTENT GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH give us eyes of faith to see these
moments of affliction in the light of eternal glory with HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
May your ever-growing faith in the GREAT & LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER and
CHRIST JESUS, HIS PRECIOUS SON, grant you the privilege to witness and
experience the marvelous miracle of being delivered from the yoke of
slavery to sin and its consequences.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
May the seed you sow take root downward and bear fruit upward.

NEW HEAVEN & NEW EARTH
"For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new earth; the former
things shall not be remembered or come to mind. Be glad then and rejoice
forever in what I am creating. For I shall create Jerusalem as a joy,
and her people as a delight. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and delight in
MY people. Never again shall be heard in her the sounds of weeping and
wailing." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17 – 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There are so many eternal treasures that ALMIGHTY GOD has prepared for
those who love HIM even the heavens could not contain them though one
would try writing them down. The old things will pass away and all
things will be made new. "Behold, I make all things new" says THE ALPHA
& THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNING & THE END. [Revelation 21. 5] "Now I saw a
new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had
passed away. Also there was no more sea." [Revelation 21. 1] Seas are
absent as they are always restless, now there is peace everywhere.

Like Abraham who looked for a City that has foundations, whose BUILDER
and MAKER is GOD [Hebrews 11. 8-10], we will see that City that John
saw, "the HOLY CITY, NEW JERUSALEM, coming down out of heaven from GOD,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." [Revelation 21. 2]

Therein also is the "pure River of Water of Life, clear as crystal,
proceeding from the Throne of GOD and of the LAMB. In the middle of its
street, and on either side of the River, was the Tree of Life, which
bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves
of the Tree were for the healing of the nations." [Revelation 22. 1-2]

Most wondrous of wonders will be that we are forever with our GOD, the
LORD WHO loves us and redeemed us. "The Tabernacle of GOD is with men,
and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people. GOD HIMSELF
will be with them and be their GOD. And GOD will wipe away every tear
from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed
away...Whoever overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his GOD
and he shall be MY son." [Revelation 21. 3 - 4, 7] "The Throne of GOD
and of the LAMB shall be in it. HIS servants shall serve HIM. They shall
see HIS face and HIS NAME shall be on their foreheads. There shall be no
night there; they need no lamp nor light of the sun, for the LORD GOD
gives them light. And the LORD GOD shall reign KING forever and ever."
[Revelation 22. 3 - 5]

The time is near, blessed are those who keep the words of the prophecy
of JESUS, the ROOT & OFFSPRING of David, the BRIGHT & MORNING STAR.
[Revelation 22. 16 - 17, 20] Let those who have ears hear what the
SPIRIT and the BRIDE say…"COME! Surely I am coming quickly." Even
so, Amen. Finished and complete, praised be the LORD YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH, CREATOR of the Universe.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Let us adore the EVER-LIVING GOD, and render praise to HIM WHO spread
out the heavens and established the earth, WHOSE glory is revealed in
the heavens above and WHOSE greatness is manifest throughout the world.
HE is our GOD; there is none else. We bow the head and bend the knee,
giving ourselves over into YOUR keeping, our hearts contrite, and our
prayers made with a repentant heart, and magnify the KING of kings, the
HOLY ONE, praised be HE. Amen!

Post  Admin on Thu 20 Jun 2013, 5:16 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Every act of kindness that GOD performs for man should make one feel not
proud, but more humble and unworthy.

WELL WITH MY SOUL
"Come and hear, all GOD-fearing men, as I declare what HE did for me; I
call aloud with glorification on my tongue." [Psalms (Tehillym) 66. 16 -
17 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

HOLY SCRIPTURE clearly teaches that "the person who sins, only he shall
die." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 18. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "All have sinned and
come short of the glory of GOD." [Romans 3. 23] We are left then, with
an insurmountable condition concerning our souls. "Look at my right hand
and see — I have no friend; no man that would know me. There is
nowhere I can flee, no one cares about me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 142. 4
Tanakh, Kethuvim] Our eternal soul is our single most valuable
possession, "For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole
world, and looses his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for
his soul?" [Mark 8. 36 - 37]

"In GOD'S hand is every living soul and the breath of all mankind"
[Job/Iyob 12. 10] and HE is the ONE WHO cares for our soul. "Inasmuch
then as the children have partaken of flesh and blood, HE HIMSELF took
part of the same; that through death HE might destroy him that had the
power of death, that is, the devil." [Hebrews 2. 14] "The redemption of
their soul is precious, the price of life is too high; and so it ceases,
forever. Shall HE live eternally and not see corruption of the grave?"
[Psalms (Tehillym) 49. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The redemption of our soul cost "the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a
lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 19] The soul that
disregarded and ignored the OLD COVENANT guidelines for the "Passover" ;
— which portrays the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA'S perfect once-for-all
atonement for the sins of the whole world, was "cut off." [Exodus/Shemot
12. 15] "But, we are not of them who draw back unto ruin of perdition;
but of those who believe to the saving of the soul." [Hebrews 10. 39]
"For we were like sheep going stray; but are now returned to the
SHEPHERD and OVERSEER of our souls." [1 Peter 2. 25]

The salvation of our soul is impossible with man, but with GOD
OMNIPOTENT "all things are possible." Since I have been redeemed by the
blood of my LORD & SAVIOR, I am more then confident that it is well with
my soul. Therefore, my soul continues to exalt and bless the LORD GOD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Give glory to our GOD, the ROCK of our salvation! HIS deeds are perfect;
Yes, all HIS ways are just; a FAITHFUL GOD never false, true and upright
is HE!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
What isn't said between people is also heard.

WHO-SO-EVER WILL
"Whosoever invokes the NAME OF THE LORD shall escape; for there shall be
a remnant on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, as the LORD promised, and the
remnant whom the LORD shall call will be among the survivors." [Joel
(Yoel) 2. 32 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"GOD is no respecter of persons." [Acts 10. 34] Yet in the "whosoever&quo t;
passage of the OLD COVENANT, it is clear that those who "call on the
NAME OF THE LORD" were the same as the remnant whom the LORD called.
Those who call on GOD MOST HIGH have first been called by the ALMIGHTY
ONE. HE accepts all who call on HIM from every nation. But, "How shall
they call on HIM of WHOM they have not heard?" [Romans 10. 14] The HOLY
SPIRIT, through Peter, quoted this passage in his great sermon on the
Day of Pentecost (Shavuoth), "And it shall come to pass that whosoever
shall call on the NAME OF THE LORD shall be saved." [Acts 2. 21]

Peter was still speaking only to Jews, but they had assembled at
Jerusalem "out of every nation under heaven." [Acts 2. 5] Paul then
made it plain that "whosoever&quo t; applied to everyone when he also quoted
Joel. "For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same
LORD over all is rich to all who call upon HIM. For whoever calls on the
NAME OF THE LORD shall be saved." [Romans 10. 12 - 13] The MESSIAH THE
PRINCE says— "Who-so- ever desires, let him take the WATER of LIFE
freely." [Revelation 22. 17]

Who-so-ever will may come because the LOVING CREATOR inclined HIS ear to
HIS people! So take up the CUP OF SALVATION and call upon the NAME OF
THE LORD! [Psalms/Tehillym 116. 2, 13] The LORD JESUS CHRIST patiently
waits for you, and invites you— Come now!

What a DELIGHTFUL LOVING SAVIOR we serve!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Merciful KING awaken our soul to grateful acknowledgement of YOUR grace
which has bestowed upon us the gift of life, and make our pathway come
in safety to the coveted goal — YOUR LOVING PRESENCES. LORD, YOUR
loving-kindness is mighty over us, and we are ever grateful to YOU.

Post  Admin on Mon 17 Jun 2013, 6:08 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There are three means of believing: Inspiration — Reason —
Habit. [Blaise Pascal]

LIFT UP A STANDARD
"From the west they shall fear the NAME of the LORD, and from the east
HIS glorious presence; for when the enemy comes in like a flood, the
SPIRIT OF THE LORD will lift up a standard against him." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 59. 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The Hebrew word for standard is "nuwc (pronounced noos)" meaning "abate,
a way of escape, drive forth, chase, impel, deliver, put to flight,
hide." So when the MIGHTY INTERCESSOR fights for us, we can be certain
that the confrontation is already won.

We are warned to be sober and vigilant because the notorious enemy of
our soul, "your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour." [1 Peter 5. 8] This notorious master of
deception also "transforms himself into an angel of light" as well as
"his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of
righteousness. " [2 Corinthians 11. 14 - 15] Satan and his ministering
hordes are most dangerously deceptive when they twist, alter and distort
HOLY SCRIPTURE to and through untaught and unstable people who twist the
WORD OF GOD "to their own destruction. " [2 Peter 3. 16] We must use the
SWORD OF THE SPIRIT against them!

Then when they fail to win a convert to their schemes they become
anguished in their deception, they resort to great persecution, pressure
and blatant opposition seeking to silence the testimony of true people
of GOD. Those who were once your friends "think it strange that you do
not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of
you." [1 Peter 4. 4] "Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the
fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened
to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of CHRIST'S
sufferings, that when HIS glory is revealed, you may also be glad with
exceeding joy." [1 Peter 4. 12 - 13]

Another event in time is coming when the woman (Israel) escapes from the
anti-Christ, the serpent again tries to destroy her when he "spewed
water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause
her to be carried away by the flood." [Revelation 12. 13 - 15] Again,
the HOLY & FAITHFUL ONE OF OLD will do great wonders, "the earth helped
the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood
which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth." [Revelation 12. 16]

When the enemy comes in like a great flood and the waves seem about to
engulf us, we have our blessed SHIELD & DELIVERER we can turn to and be
blessed, for HE is ever near. "Were it not for the LORD WHO was on our
side when men assailed us, they would have swallowed us alive in their
burning rage against us; the waters would have overwhelmed us, the
torrent would have swept over us; then the seething waters would have
gone over our soul. Blessed is the LORD, WHO has not given us as prey to
their teeth." [Psalms (Tehillym) 124. 2 – 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

But, GOD is on our side, and as long as we stay on HIS side, sheltered
under HIS wing holding fast to HIS clearly revealed WORD OF TRUTH &
LIFE. Before the demonic flood can overwhelm us, the SPRIT OF THE LORD
will lift up HIS STANDARD against the enemy and overcome victoriously.
We are assured that "the solid foundation of GOD stands" [2 Timothy 2.
19], for the "LORD WHO is in you is greater than he who is in the
world." [1 John 4. 4]

"For YOU are great, and do wondrous things; YOU alone are GOD." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 86. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] There is nothing too wondrous for
HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Let us adore the EVER-LIVING GOD, and render praise to HIM WHO spread
out the heavens and established the earth, WHOSE glory is reveled in the
heavens above and WHO'S greatness is manifest throughout the world. HE
is our GOD; there is none else. With bowed heads and humble hearts and
abiding faith in justice and lovingkindness, we magnify the KING of
kings, the HOLY ONE, praised be HE.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.
