A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
As easy as it may appear, the path of least resistance may be the very
one to avoid.

REDEEMING THE TIME
"There remains therefore a rest to the people of GOD." [Hebrews 4. 9]

For those who labor, this has been a long time favorite verse. We grow
tired of work, and weary even in the LORD'S work. . . but we continue on
in faithful stewardship for the needs are so great in harvesting souls
that we dare not stop. Thus praying, "Teach us to number our days, that
we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." [Psalms (Tehillym) 90. 12 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] "Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they
would consider their latter end!" [Deuteronomy/ Devarim 32. 29]

The LORD GOD knew HIS people would need rest, so HE ordained a weekly
day of rest, Sabbath. In fact, the only reason HE took six days to do
the work of creation was to set the proper pattern for man's six-day
work week. [Exodus/Shemot 20. 8 - 11] MESSIAH YESHUA, the LORD OF
GLORY, indicated that it is still "lawful to do well on Sabbath days"
[Matthew 12. 12]; and the SCRIPTURES command us to always "walk in
wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time." [Colossians 4.
5] And to "walk circumspectly (carefully, watchfully), not as fools,
but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." [Ephesians
5. 15 - 16]

The word for "rest" is actually the special word for Sabbath rest
(Shabbath-Shabbatho wn). This new covenant indicates that the weekly
rest day, like all the others in the Ten Commandments, is still a DIVINE
principle in the CHRISTian dispensation, and violating it is to our
detriment. It also refers, in context, to the rest we find in the LORD
YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. "For he that is entered into HIS rest, he also
has ceased from his own works, as GOD did from HIS." [Hebrews 4. 10]

There is a most comforting application for our future life: "Blessed are
the dead that die in the LORD from now on: Yes! says the SPIRIT, that
they may rest from their labors; and their works follow them."
[Revelation 14. 13] But for now, even when it is hard to find time for
physical rest, we find perfect peaceful rest for our souls in the LORD
JESUS CHRIST. Without a doubt, HE is our PERFECT PEACE & REST.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Good Sabbath! Come, let us go forth to meet Queen Sabbath the Bride of
the Week — Enter, O Bride; Enter, O Bride! Thank YOU, LORD GOD for
giving us this great and holy seventh day in love.
Have a peaceful, enriching Shabbat a rest of love freely given — a
rest of truth and sincerity — a rest in peace and tranquility, in
quiet and safety — a perfect rest in which you find favor and with
an objective to bless others. May the spirit of the Sabbath fill our
life with its blessed peace through YOUR PRECIOUS SON, YESHUA THE
ANOINTED ONE. Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make peace with the past so it doesn't mess up your present.

WORKS MADE MANIFEST
"Each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because
it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of
what sort it is." [1 Corinthians 3. 13]

This SCRIPTURE is the key verse that gives the principle by which the
SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE will evaluate our works in that Great Day when
all will be assembled before "the Judgment Seat of CHRIST." [Romans 14.
10; 2 Corinthians 5. 10] This is the time when the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE will
separate the good from the bad—the sheep from the goats—the
righteous will be invited into the Kingdom, and the unrighteous will be
thrown into the Eternal Fire. [Matthew 25. 31 - 46] "For the SON OF
MAN will come in the glory of HIS FATHER with HIS angels, and then HE
will reward each according to his works." [Matthew 16. 27] When the
purifying fire tries our works, "if anyone's work which he has built on
it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he
will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire."
[1 Corinthians 3. 14 - 15]

Take careful notice of the basis which the LORD GOD uses to determine
the rewards or the loss of rewards…it is not the amount of work done
— the number of witnessing contacts or souls won to the MASTER, not
he number of peoples taught, nor the amount of money given. Neither are
rewards based on the type of work done; mental labor is no less eligible
for heavenly rewards than is the ministry of the GOSPEL.

The criterion of the eternal value of a believer's work on earth is
what sort it is! Specifically, what is the motivation of the work, the
sincerity, the dedication, the obedience? In other words, the quality,
rather then the quantity of results or type of occupation. It is not
the nature of the work or its size, but the sort (quality) that is being
judged. JESUS knows that "he who is faithful in what is least is
faithful also in much" [Luke 16. 10; Matthew 25. 21], so HE will "give
to every one according to his work." [Revelation 22. 12]

Therefore, "whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the LORD and not to
men, knowing that from the LORD you will receive the reward of the
inheritance; for you serve the LORD CHRIST." [Colossians 3. 23 - 24]
"And behold, I am coming quickly, and MY reward is with ME, to give to
every one according to his work." [Revelation 22. 12] "Yes! — says
the SPIRIT — that they may rest from their labors, and their works
follow them." [Revelation 14. 13] In all that you do, may your rewards
go before you and the LORD your GOD will graciously bless you.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation.
May YOUR will be fulfilled and Your sovereignty revealed in the days of
our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel. May YOU be
blessed forever, even to all eternity. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be
blessed, praised & honoured, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted
above all else. Blessed are YOU beyond all blessings & hymns, praises &
consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen. May peace
abundant descend from heaven with life for us and all Israel, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Man's way leads to a hopeless end GOD'S WAY leads to an endless
hope.

BROUGHT TOGETHER
"Faithfulness, mercy and truth meet; righteousness and peace kiss. Truth
shall spring up from the earth, justice looks down from heaven." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 85. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In Hebrew, nashaq could be translated as rule, kiss, touch, equip with
weapons. When we allow MESSIAH YESHUA to be the RULER of our lives, we
unite with HIM in every aspect of our being. HE is the GREAT & MIGHTY
GOD WHO goes before us and enjoins our lives. "Righteousness goes
before HIM, and HIS footsteps become our pathway." [Psalms (Tehillym)
85. 13 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"In HIS forbearance GOD had passed over the sins that were previously
committed, to demonstrate at the present time, HIS righteousness; that
HE might be JUST and the JUSTIFIER of the one who has faith in CHRIST
JESUS." [Romans 3. 25 - 26]

"But now in MESSIAH YESHUA you who once were far off have been brought
near by the blood of CHRIST. For HE HIMSELF is our peace, who has made
both (Jew and Gentile) one, and has broken down the middle wall of
separation." [Ephesians 2. 13 - 14] HIS death and resurrection are the
evidences that we will have eternal life, and a confident pilgrimage on
this earth.

"HE came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who
were near. For through HIM we both have access by one SPIRIT to the
FATHER. Now therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but
fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of GOD."
[Ephesians 2. 17 - 19]

The LORD JESUS declared, "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one
comes to the FATHER except through ME." [John 14. 6] The WAY takes us
to life eternal, JESUS is the only means provided. The TRUTH is the
HOLY WRITTEN WORD the VOICE OF AUTHORITY. INFINITE JUSTICE would
demand the punishment of the sinner, yet INFINITE LOVE longed for man's
redemption, so ALMIGHTY GOD, the TRUE & FAITHFUL ONE, placed the sins of
all mankind upon HIM, WHO was sinless, MESSIAH YESHUA, that HE might be
the PERFECT LIFE for us.

At the cross of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, the LOVE & JUSTICE of OMNIPOTENT
HOLY GOD met together. All hail KING JESUS!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Continue to praise our LORD, the EVERLASTING KING, HELPER, SAVIOR and
SHIELD for HIS loving-kindness is mighty over us. When things around
you appear dark and terrifying, hold on to the promises of LORD GOD, HE
is in complete control. The LORD OF HOSTS is wonderful in counsel and
excellent in guidance for sound wisdom.
You, dearly beloved friend are joy and crown. Thus, we encourage you to
stand fast in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA. Wishing you a joyous day filled
with the love and peace of our INVINCIBLE HOLY GOD!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is we who are lost when we don't help others find their way.

PLEASING GOD
"I know, GOD, that YOU search the heart and have pleasure in
uprightness. " [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 29. 17 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word ratsah means pleasing, acceptable, satisfied, favorable,
delight, joy. The WORD OF GOD, the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, and HIS HOLY NAME
are magnified above all things, "YOU have exalted YOUR NAME, YOUR WORD,
above all." [Psalms (Tehillym) 138. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The OMNIPOTENT
LORD is well pleased for His righteousness sake; "HE will magnify HIS
TEACHINGS (HIS WRITTEN WORD) and make it honorable." [Isaiah (Yeshayah)
42. 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

It was for a blessing to His creation and to the children of Israel that
the Law was given. "It pleased the LORD to bless Israel." [Numbers
(B'Midvar) 24. 1 Tanakh, Torah] And, "it pleased the LORD to undertake
and make you HIS people" [1 Samuel/Shemuel Alef 12. 22] for HIS pleasure
and for the sake of HIS GREAT NAME. Therefore, we have the confident
assurance that HOLY GOD will never leave, forsake, or let go of HIS OWN.
All who obey HIS TEACHINGS can be exceedingly glad and shout for joy and
say continually, "Extolled be the LORD, WHO has pleasure in the
well-being of HIS servant." [Psalms (Tehillym) 35. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear HIM, in those who depend on
HIS mercy." [Psalms (Tehillym) 147. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "For the LORD
takes pleasure in HIS people; HE adorns the lowly with the glory of
salvation." [Psalms (Tehillym) 149. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The Almighty
One "opens their ear to instruction, and commands that they turn from
iniquity. IF they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in
prosperity, and their years in pleasures." [Job (Iyob) 36. 10 - 11
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Therefore, make it your personal goal "to be well pleasing to HIM
(MESSIAH YESHUA). For we must all appear before the "JUDGMENT SEAT OF
CHRIST" — that each one may receive the things done in the body,
according to what he has done, whether good or bad." [2 Corinthians 5. 9
- 10] "For this reason we — do not cease to pray for you, and to
ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of HIS will in all wisdom
and spiritual understanding; that you may have a walk worthy of the
LORD, fully pleasing HIM, being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of GOD; strengthened with all might,
according to HIS glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with
joy; giving thanks to the FATHER WHO has qualified us to be partakers of
the inheritance of the saints in the light." [Colossians 1. 9 - 12]

"Now may the GOD OF PEACE WHO brought up our LORD JESUS from the dead,
that GREAT SHEPHERD of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting
covenant, make you complete in every good work to do HIS will, working
in you what is well pleasing in HIS sight, through MESSIAH YESHUA, to
Whom be glory forever and ever. Amen" [Hebrews 13. 20 - 21]

Since it is our HEAVENLY FATHER'S "good pleasure to give you the
Kingdom" [Luke 12. 32] we will receive whatever we ask from HIM "because
we keep HIS commandments and do those things that are pleasing in HIS
sight. And this is HIS commandment: That we should believe on the NAME
OF HIS SON JESUS THE CHRIST and LOVE one another." [1 John 3. 22]
Then, you will be "a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well
pleasing to GOD." [Philippians 4. 18] And that is a wonderfully
achievable possibility!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Let us adore the EVER-LIVING GOD, and render praise to HIM WHO spread
out the heavens and established the earth, WHOSE glory is revealed in
the heavens above and WHOSE greatness is manifest throughout the world.
HE is our GOD; there is none else. We bow the head and bend the knee and
magnify the KING of kings, the HOLY ONE, praised be HE. Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
I pray that no offense shall happen through me.

THREE ARKS
"When she could hide him no longer, she made an ark of bulrushes for him
and caulked it with bitumen slime and with pitch. She put the child into
it; and placed it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile." [Exodus
(Shemot) 2. 3 Tanakh, Torah]

There are two different Hebrew words for ark: 'arown and teba meaning
box-like container — chest, coffin. The first ark mentioned in HOLY
SCRIPTURE was the Great Ark ('arown) of Noah which was overlaid and
inlaid with "pitch." [Genesis/Shemot 6. 14] This was not fossil fuel
(oil-based pitch) for that type oil was probably formed in the upheavals
of the flood and dead animals. There are, however, various coals that
are produced from buckwheat, chestnuts, eggs, flaxseed, mustard-seed,
nuts, peas and peat which form either a hard coal bituminous or soft
coal substance which the oil-based pitch most probably was made from.
The Hebrew word for this pitch is "kaphar" or covering which is also
translated "atonement." [Leviticus/Vayikra 17. 11]

The second ark was Moses' Ark ('arown), was daubed or smeared with slime
and pitch; and this pitch was of oil base. Then, the last was GOD'S ARK
(teba) OF THE COVENANT which was built for the Holy Place in the
Tabernacle in the wilderness. It was overlaid "with pure gold."
[Exodus/Shemot 25. 11] The first ark preserved the founders of the
Gentile civilization; the second preserved the prophet of the Jewish
dispensation; and the third preserved the INSCRIBED DIVINE WORDS for the
saving of all generations. [Exodus/Shemot 31. 17 - 18;
Deuteronomy/ Devarim 10. 1 - 5]

Noah's Ark, like the people which he established, was built strong
enough to endure throughout man's earthly existence, and its remains are
still on the mountains of Ararat.

Moses' Ark, like the nation which he founded, was only enduring enough
for its immediate intent and purpose.

GOD'S Ark and its sacred contents, in contrast, will last forever. When
Nebuchadnezzar carried away all the treasures from the Temple in
Jerusalem, no mention was made of this "Greatest Treasure of all
treasures." [2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet 36. 18 - 19] The Apostle
John reveals why in the last book of HOLY WRIT, "And the TEMPLE OF GOD
was opened in heaven and there was seen in HIS TEMPLE, the ARK OF HIS
TESTAMENT" [Revelation 11. 19] forever reminding GOD'S people of HIS
ETERNAL WORD — MESSIAH YESHUA . . . the LIFE-GIVING WORD WHO became
flesh!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
HEAVENLY FATHER, melt our hard hearts and teach us to emulate YOUR oWN
grace and mercy. Cause YOUR TRUTH to fall upon our hearts like seed upon
fertile ground. I also pray that we learn to love YOUR Precious Law even
more intensely to find it's vast treasures of the beauty of holiness.
Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A king of flesh and blood stamps his image on a coin, hence all coins
look and are alike; but the KING of kings has stamped everyman with the
seal of the first man, yet no man is like any other. [MISHNA 4. 5]

BLESSED WALK
"Happy and blessed is the man who has not followed the counsel of the
wicked, or taken the path of the sinners, or joined the company of the
insolent; but rather, the Teachings of the LORD is his delight, and he
studies and recites that teaching day and night. He is like a tree
planted beside streams of water, which yields its fruit in season, whose
foliage never fades; and whatever he does, he prospers." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 1. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

A good illustration of an empty experience is self-centeredness. The
world seeks happiness, but the only happiness it finds is brief as real
joy cannot be found. Joy, however, transcends the circumstances; it is
a happiness which has its source in things the world can not offer.
GOD'S WRITTEN WORD, the SACRED SCRIPTURES, give us directions and highly
endorsed instructions for obtaining this joy.

Various man-made religions teach that GOD'S Law is bondage. HOLY
SCRIPTURES tell it differently — it is the only SOURCE of GREAT JOY.
Only the WORD OF GOD can really satisfy us!

Our GRACIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER gives many teachings to HIS children for
their own good, worth, advantage, moral integrity and discipline. "Know
in your heart that the LORD your GOD disciplines you just as a man
disciplines his son. Therefore, keep the commandments of the LORD your
GOD; walk in HIS ways and revere HIM." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 8. 5 - 6
Tanakh, Torah] "For whom the LORD loves HE chastens, and scourges every
son whom HE receives." [Hebrews 12. 6] "Do not reject the discipline of
YEHOWAH, my son; Do not abhor HIS rebuke. For whom YEHOWAH loves, HE
rebukes, as a father the son whom he favors and delights." [Proverbs
(Mishle) 3. 11 – 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Today, society is finding out the hard way that the rules of conduct
laid down in GOD'S TRUTH are not to take away our fun, but are there for
our own benefit. "Seek the favor of the LORD and HE will grant you the
desires of your heart." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Unmistakably, as we delight ourselves in HIM, the desires of our heart
will be changed. "In HIS PRESENCE is fullness and joy. In HIS right
hand there are pleasures forever more." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 11
Tanakh, Torah] We can have the DELIGHT of our life, the LORD JESUS, in
our lives now and for all eternity.

"How precious is YOUR faithful care, O GOD! Mankind shelters in the
shadow of YOUR wings. They feast on the rich fare of YOUR house; YOU let
them drink at YOUR refreshing stream." [Psalms (Tehillym) 36. 7 - 8
Tanakh, Torah] There is great contentment, pleasure, and indescribable
joy in knowing YESHUA ha'MASHIACH as your LORD & SAVIOR, and a peace
you cannot know without HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Praised are YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR
compassion boundless. Be gracious to us that we may understand and
fulfill the teachings of YOUR REVERED WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR
Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Thank YOU for YOUR saving
power, for from YOU comes our help. Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU
in faithfulness. Joyfully, we lift our voices and proclaim YOUR PRECIOUS
NAME.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you don't acquire moral values when you are young, when will you?
Certainly not when you are old.

FATHER'S LOVE FOR HIS SON
"And suddenly a VOICE came from heaven, saying, "This is MY BELOVED SON,
in WHOM I am well pleased." [Matthew 3. 17]

GOD THE FATHER is speaking from Heaven in this marvelous verse. This
being the first of three recorded times announcing HIS love for all to
hear; proclaiming that HIS BELOVED SON had come. This is the first
reference to "love" just as the FATHER'S love for the
ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON was the first love that ever existed. As YESHUA
prayed at the Passover Feast in the upper room before HE was
arrested— "YOU loved ME before the foundation of the world." [John
17. 24; also John 17. 23, 26] The LORD JESUS told of another reason for
the FATHER'S great love for HIM, "MY FATHER loves ME, because I lay
down MY life." [John 10. 17]

The second time THE VOICE of the FATHER spoke of HIS love of HIS SON was
by the Jordan River where John was baptizing: "It came to pass in those
days that JESUS came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John
in the Jordan. And immediately, coming up from the water, HE saw the
heavens parting and the SPIRIT descending upon HIM like a dove. Then a
VOICE came from heaven — YOU are MY BELOVED SON, in whom I am well
pleased." [Matthew 3. 13 - 17 Mark 1. 9 - 11; Luke 3. 21 - 22]

The third recorded time of GOD THE FATHER speaking is recorded in the
NEW COVENANT when YESHUA was on the Mount of Transfiguration. YESHUA
took Peter, John, and James. Not only was the MESSIAH'S appearance
and clothing altered, but Moses and Elijah talked with HIM. And, when
Peter saw HIS glory and the two men who stood with HIM, that Peter said,
"MASTER, it is good for us to be here; and let us make three
tabernacles: one for YOU, one for Moses, and one for Elijah — not
knowing what he said. While he was saying this, a cloud came and
overshadowed them; and they were fearful as they entered the cloud. And
a VOICE came out of the cloud, saying — This is MY BELOVED SON. Hear
HIM!" [Luke 9. 28 - 36; Matthew 17. 5; Mark 9. 7; 2 Peter 1. 17]

The extent of the FATHER'S love for HIS BELOVED SON was sweeping and
all-inclusive. "The FATHER loves the SON, and has given all things into
HIS hand." [Luke 3. 35] Furthermore, "the FATHER loves the SON, and
shows HIM all things that HE HIMSELF does; and HE will show HIM greater
works than these." [John 5. 20]

Truly the FATHER loves the SON with a perfect love. "I will declare the
decree: The LORD has said to ME — YOU are MY SON, Today I have
begotten YOU. Ask of ME, and I will give You the nations for YOUR
inheritance, and the ends of the earth for YOUR possession." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 2. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im] And because HE was so loved of the
FATHER, MESSIAH taught us, "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved
you; abide in My love. If you keep MY commandments, you will abide in MY
love, just as I have kept MY FATHER'S commandments and abide in HIS
love." [John 15. 9 – 10]

Here is even greater love — "In this is love, not that we loved GOD,
but that HE loved us and sent HIS SON to be the propitiation for our
sins. Beloved, if GOD so loved us, we also ought to love one another."
[1 John 1. 10 – 11] Such an amazing love for such unworthy sinners
merits nothing less than total thanksgiving, praise, adoration, and
complete obedience.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat, may you have a good week — a week of
peace. . . may gladness reign and joy increase.
HEAVENLY FATHER, WHO has graciously endowed mankind with reason and
understanding, send us the LIGHT of YOUR TRUTH, that we may gain insight
into the wisdom of YOUR ways. Forgive our sins, pardon our failings, and
remove from us the thoughts of evil and selfish desire that we may truly
revere YOUR HOLY NAME. May the erring and the wayward be led to know
YOUR loving-kindness, and to serve YOU in newness of heart; and may the
righteous those who love virtue be ever glad in YOUR favor. YOU know
our needs before we utter them, and ordain all things for the best.
Praised are YOU, O LORD, WHO hears our prayer. Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Many would be scantily clothed, if dressed in their humility.

GLORIOUS APPEARANCE
"HIS head and HIS hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and HIS
eyes were as a flame of fire." [Revelation 1. 14]

We only have a description of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH in HIS
glorified body, not in HIS earthly one. [Revelation 1. 13 - 16] The
four writers of the GOSPEL (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) tell much of what
JESUS said and did, but not one word is said of HIS physical appearance;
most probably to guard against idolatry.

In the Song of Songs, there is a beautiful symbolic portrait that may
apply to the LORD YESHUA, the WORD-MADE-FLESH. "MY beloved is white and
ruddy, preeminent among ten thousand. HIS head is as the finest gold,
HIS locks are curled, and black as a raven. HIS eyes are as the eyes of
doves by the rivers of waters, bathed in milk, set by a brimming pool,
and fitly set. HIS cheeks are like beds of spices, banks of perfume. HIS
lips are like lilies, they drip flowing myrrh...HIS mouth is delicious,
most sweet and all of HIM is delightful. Yes! HE is altogether lovely."
[Song of Songs (Shir ha'Shirim) 5. 10 - 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In contrast, there is the terrible picture given by the Prophet Isaiah:
"Behold MY SERVANT...so marred was HIS appearance, unlike that of man,
and HIS form, beyond human semblance — HE had no form or beauty,
that we should look at HIM; no charm, that we should desire HIM or find
HIM pleasing...as ONE WHO hid HIS face from us (as a leper); HE was
despised, we held HIM of no account." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 52. 13, 14; 53.
2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

One can see in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH what they want to see! But, one day
we shall see HIM as HE is as described in the Book of Revelation: "HIS
countenance was as the sun shining in its strength." [Revelation 1. 16]
Some day very soon, "every eye will see HIM...and all the tribes of the
earth will mourn and wail because of HIM." [Revelation 1. 7]
Furthermore, when the LORD JESUS appears to those who love HIM, we shall
be made "like HIM for we shall see HIM as HE is." [1 John 3. 2]

What a wonderful day that will be! I am longing to see JESUS, my LORD,
the KING of all ages and behold HIS extraordinarily, incredibly glorious
face!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Welcome Sabbath! – Queen of the week! Praised are YOU, YEHOWAH, our
GOD, SOVEREIGN of the Universe, WHO makes us holy with YOUR mitzvoth and
favors us with the Holy Shabbat, lovingly and graciously given to us, a
memorial of the act of creation, first of the holy assemblies. Enjoy the
peace and harmony of Shabbat!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Fri 11 Nov 2011, 7:45 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The PRAISEWORTHY LORD GOD dwells within those who let HIM.

KISSES
"He who gives a right answer is as if he kisses the lips." [Proverbs
(Mishle) 24. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Many of the descriptions referring to Solomon are simple analogies for
MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF: "Let HIM kiss me with the kisses of HIS
mouth...for YOUR love is better than wine. Because of the fragrance of
Your good ointments, YOUR NAME is ointment poured forth." [Song of Songs
(Shir Ha'Shirm) 1. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word "nashaq" can mean "to kiss, touch (literally or
figuratively) , equip with a weapon (armed), or rule." The LORD YESHUA
said "If you love ME, keep MY commandments. If you ask anything in MY
NAME, I will do it." [John 14. 15, 14] "In that day you will ask in MY
NAME, and I do not say to you that I shall pray the FATHER for you; for
the FATHER HIMSELF loves you, because you have loved ME, and have
believed that I came forth from GOD." [John 16. 26 - 27] Therefore,
love in obedience, it does have it's privileges! "The genuineness of
your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it
is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the
revelation of JESUS CHRIST, WHOM having not seen you love. Though now
you do not see HIM, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible
and full of glory." [1 Peter 1. 7 - 8]

Therefore, let us "Kiss the SON, lest HE be angered, and you perish in
your way in the mere flash of HIS wrath that is kindled but a little.
Blessed ('esher - happy) are all who take refuge in HIM." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 2. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Those who willingly choose to serve (kiss) the MASTER in truth, faith
and love will be the only ones to escape HIS wrath and anger that is
soon to be released on the world: "I looked when HE (the LAMB OF GOD)
opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the
sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood.
And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late
figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. Then the sky receded as a
scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out
of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men,
the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid
themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to
the mountains and rocks — Fall on us and hide us from the face of
HIM WHO sits on the Throne and from the wrath of the LAMB! For the great
day of HIS wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" [Revelation 6. 12
- 17]

Our prayer is that you will all be ready and are worshiping the MIGHTY
CREATOR, MESSIAH YESHUA, our SAVIOR & SHIELD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
Stay alert for such a time as this. . . keep watching and praying. We
have an AWESOME GOD, and HE is on the throne ruling over the affairs of
men. The LORD is worthy of all our praise and worship, even in
difficult times. May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for
us and to all Israel, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Knowledge is what you remember when you forgot everything you learned.

SECRET OF THE LORD
"Let me know YOUR paths, O LORD; teach me YOUR ways. The secret of the
LORD is for those who fear HIM; to them HE makes known HIS covenant."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 25. 4, 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word for secret is cowd, which in this verse is like an
amazing promise for the "inner counsel" directly from the TRIUNE
GOD HIMSELF. But, how can those who fear the LORD really know the
secret counsels of the GODHEAD? The answer can only be by divine
revelation to GOD'S prophets. As Amos records— "Surely, the
LORD GOD does nothing unless HE reveals HIS secret to HIS servants the
prophets." [Amos (Amus) 3. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The Talmud teaches, "Seek not out the things that are to hard for
you and into the things that are hidden from you inquire not. In what is
permitted to you instruct yourself; you have no business with secret
things." However, when these ancient promises were give they were
"settled in Heaven" [Psalms/Tehillym 119. 89], though still not revealed
to men. "The secret things belong to the LORD our GOD, but those
things which are revealed are for us and our children forever, that we
may do all the words of this TEACHING." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29
Tanakh, Torah] Then, when the PROMISED REDEEMER came, HE promised HIS
disciples, "the HELPER, the HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM the FATHER will send in MY
NAME, HE will teach you all things." [John 14. 26]

The NEW COVENANT discloses even more of GOD'S view, "We speak the
wisdom of GOD in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which GOD ordained before
the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for
had they known, they would not have crucified the LORD OF GLORY. But as
it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered
into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who
love HIM. — BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. For
the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what
man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in
him? Even so no one knows the things of GOD except the SPIRIT OF GOD.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the SPIRIT WHO is
from GOD, that we might know the things that have been freely given to
us by GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 7 - 12]

"GOD, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the
fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by HIS SON,
WHOM HE has appointed heir of all things." [Hebrews 1. 1 - 2] Along with
the twelve disciples, the Apostle Paul was called by the LORD GOD and
through these men, YESHUA would convey to those who fear HIM all the
rest of HIS revelation. "By revelation HE made known to me the mystery
(as I have briefly written already, by which, when you read, you may
understand my knowledge in the mystery of CHRIST), which in other ages
was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by
the SPIRIT." [Ephesians 3. 3 - 5]

Finally, "the secret of the LORD" was completed in written-form by John,
the last living apostle, with nothing else to be added or deleted
[Revelation 22. 18 - 19], that "the mystery of GOD would be finished, as
MESSIAH YESHUA declared to HIS servants the prophets." [Revelation 10.
7] All we shall ever need to know of GOD'S Eternal Counsels is now
available to all who desire to know, written for our sake, for our hope,
and our edification in the HOLY SCRIPTURES.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
The Lord be with you this day and always! Kadosh, Kadosh, Kadosh,
ADONAI ELOHIM Tzeva-ot
Asher Hayah Va-ho-veh VaY'vo
Holy, Holy, Holy
LORD GOD ALMIGHTY
WHO was and is and is to come.
Shalom U'Vrakah (Peace & Blessings)!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The tongue is the heart's pen and the mind's messenger.

SINS OF THE TONGUE
"Miryam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite (Ethiopian)
woman he had married: He married a Cushite woman!" [Numbers (B'Midvar)
12. 1 Tanakh, Torah]

After this event, the EVER-PRESENT One called Moses, Aaron, and Miryam
to the Tabernacle of the Congregation and spoke to them about this
"Sin-of-the- Tongue (Hebrew: leshon ha'ra — evil tongue)." For this
sin, Miryam became leprous. Due to the fact that Aaron was the High
Priest who wore the Holy Garments and had the Anointing Oil of GOD
poured on him; so as not to defile this sacred office — the
RIGHTEOUS MASTER did not strike him with leprosy also. Aaron confessed
their sin of evil speaking and Moses intercedes for Miryam's healing.
She was shut out of the camp for seven days; the people did not journey
on until Miryam was brought in again. [Numbers/B'Midvar 12. 1 - 16]

"The tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. It is so set among our
members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of
nature, and it is set on fire by hell." [James 3. 6] The tongue speaks
what is within us. Words of envy, faultfinding, complaining, resentment
will affect the body. Death and life are in the power of the tongue.
"It (the tongue) is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison." [James 3. 8]
Not only do we poison ourselves with this disorderly member, but also by
the wrong use of our tongues we bring others into condemnation. There
is suffering and destruction as well as health in this little organ of
our mouth. "There is blunt talk like sword-thrusts, but the speech of
the wise is healing." [Proverbs (Mishle) 12. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The remedy of healing an "insolent tongue" is available and it can
become a "sanctified tongue." First is confession of the sin. Then, as
with Moses who did not criticize Miriam or condemn her; he simply
interceded for her — this is a consecrated tongue, a sanctified,
controlled tongue!

The PRECIOUS COMFORTER, the HOLY SPIRIT, in the epistle of James, said
that no man could tame that little member of the body. [James 3. 8] Man
cannot, but the BELOVED SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD can. HE enables us to
do that which we cannot do without HIM! Thus, Rabbis have taught that
the purpose of the tongue is to elevate the level of holiness in our
world by communicating the greatness, the presence, and the character of
CREATOR GOD through our words as HIS precious children.

If you want your tongue to be tamed, to be delivered, to be controlled
and be a consecrated (holy) tongue, the MIGHTY COMFORTER, the "DOVE OF
PEACE & PERFECT LOVE" will do in your life what is impossible without
HIM. And, as you allow HIM, HE will fill your life with HIS Special
Fruits. . ."love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. " [Galatians 5. 22 - 23] Lets
use our lips to bless and praise; remembering that man will be satisfied
with the good fruit of his mouth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
May our lips ever declare praises to our KING, HELPER, SAVIOUR & SHIELD
for HIS loving kindness is mighty over us. We sanctify YOUR NAME on
earth, as the heavens declare YOUR glory. For the LORD is wonderful in
counsel and excellent in workings.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Tue 08 Nov 2011, 7:01 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Learning is a path, not a destination.

LIFE & FAITH
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen." [Hebrews 11. 1]

The Hebrew word for faith is "emuwn (pronounced ay-moon')" meaning
truth, established, faithful, trusting or trustworthy. To the LORD
MESSIAH YESHUA, the attribute of faith is of the highest importance for
the realization of His PERFECT HUMANITY. YESHUA is the CHIEF WITNESS
of faith — the LEADER of all the witnesses of faith, and the AUTHOR
& FINISHER of our faith. YESHUA ha'MASHIACH fulfills, in detail, every
one of the examples recorded in the Book of Hebrews!

What is a Life of Faith?
A life lived in complete dependence on GOD.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own
understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct
(smooth) your paths." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] It
was said of and known about JESUS, the WORD MADE FLESH, "HE committed
HIMSELF to the LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
YESHUA said of HIMSELF— "I live because of the FATHER, so he who
feeds on ME will live because of ME." [John 6. 57] It is recorded of
the SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS saying, "I will put MY trust in HIM (GOD THE
FATHER) — Here am I and the children whom GOD has given ME."
[Hebrews 2. 13] MESSIAH YESHUA said HE could do nothing of HIMSELF, HE
depended completely on the FATHER. [John 5. 19] The LORD JESUS "was
faithful to HIM (the FATHER) that appointed HIM (the SON)." [Hebrews 3.
2]

A life lived in communion with GOD.
In the words written by David concerning MESSIAH YESHUA, "I am ever
mindful of the LORD'S PRESENCE; HE is at my right hand; I shall never be
shaken. For YOU will not abandon ME to Sheol, or let YOUR FAITHFUL ONE
see the Pit." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 8, 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "HE WHO
sent ME is with ME. The FATHER has not left ME alone for I always do
those things that please HIM." [John 8. 29 ] The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA
lived in constant communion with GOD. [Mark 1. 35]

A life lived in obedience to GOD.
The LORD JESUS proved HIS obedience in HIS humanity. "In the days of
HIS flesh, when HE had offered up prayers and supplications, with
vehement cries and tears to HIM WHO was able to save HIM from death, and
was heard because of HIS GODly fear, though HE was a SON, yet HE learned
obedience by the things which HE suffered." [Hebrews 5. 7 - 8] JESUS
said, "I always do those things that please MY FATHER." [John 8. 29-c]
"I have kept MY FATHER'S commandments and abide in HIS love." [John 15.
10] "MY meat is to do the will of HIM that sent ME, and finish HIS
work. For I have come down from heaven, not to do MY OWN will, but the
will of HIM WHO sent ME." [John 4. 34; 6. 38] "I come to do YOUR will,
O GOD." [Hebrews 10. 7, 9; Mark 14. 36; Luke 22. 42]

A life lived in assured confidence in the unseen rapture.
The HOLY ANOINTED REDEEMER knew there was joy awaiting HIM after death
"for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the
shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD."
[Hebrews 12. 2] The LORD JESUS believed that GOD THE FATHER would
raise HIM from the dead. [Psalms/Tehillym 16. 10] HE also promised HIS
disciples that HE would come again after HE had gone away. "In MY
FATHER'S house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told
you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place
for you, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF; that where I am,
there you may be also." [John 14. 2 - 3]

Furthermore, we who believe and fully trust JESUS THE MESSIAH, our
BLESSED REDEEMER, live in assured, certain, secure confidence because of
this promised hope. We know in WHOM we belief and are fully persuaded
for HOLY ALMIGHTY ONE is faithful and true!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Life's challenges work out for the best when we recognize what appear to
be obstacles as opportunities to develop ourselves for the better and
recognize that all things come from OMNIPOTENT GOD'S invisible hand that
guides our lives.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Time is an orchard. . . every moment is ripe with opportunity.

WHO IS HE
Agur ben-Yakeh, the writer of the Proverb, surveyed— "WHO has
ascended heaven to and come down? WHO has gathered up the wind in the
hollow of HIS hand? WHO has wrapped the waters in HIS garment? WHO has
established all the extremities of the earth? What is HIS NAME or HIS
SON'S NAME, if you know it?" [Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LORD YESHUA, the WORD OF GOD that took on flesh and became a MAN, is
the ONE being spoken of in this text. JESUS is the SON OF THE LIVING
GOD. "A CHILD is born to us, a SON is given to us. And authority
(government) has settled on HIS shoulders. HE has been named
—WONDERFUL (SECRET), COUNSELOR (PLANNER OF GRACE), the MIGHTY GOD,
ETERNAL FATHER, RULER OF PEACE." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 6 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

It was through the YESHUA ha'MASHIACH that ALMIGHTY GOD'S purpose
might prosper. Out of HIS anguish the "RIGHTEOUS SERVANT makes the many
righteous, it is their punishment that HE bears; assuredly, I will give
HIM the many as HIS portion, HE shall receive the multitude as HIS
spoil. For HE poured out HIMSELF to death and was numbered among the
sinners, whereas HE bore the guilt of the many and made intercession for
sinners." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im] In love, the
LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH "gave HIMSELF for us, that HE might redeem
us from every lawless deed and purify for HIMSELF HIS OWN special
people, zealous for good works." [Titus 2. 14]

"We know that the SON OF GOD has come and has given us an understanding,
that we may know HIM WHO is true; and we are in HIM WHO is true, in HIS
SON JESUS CHRIST. This is the TRUE GOD and ETERNAL LIFE." [1 John 5. 20]
"You are MY witnesses — declares the LORD — MY servant whom I
have chosen, that you may know and believe in ME, and understand that I
am HE. Before ME no god was formed, and after ME none shall exist —
none but ME. I, even I, am the LORD, and besides ME there is no YESHUA
(SAVIOR)." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 10 - 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Our LOVING CREATOR alone is a GREAT OMNIPOTENT GOD WHO proclaims
beforehand what HE will do. There is no other GOD besides HIM WHO
became as we are that HE might deliver us from sin's grip. The HOLY ONE
OF ISRAEL exclusively saved us for HS glory, redeem us back to the
HEAVENLY FATHER, and purified us from all unrighteousness. Then, HE made
us HIS OWN special people. Now we are HIS witnesses, proclaiming and
broadcasting publicly that HE is LORD of lords, GOD of gods, the KING of
all ages. "Indeed before the day was, I am HE; none can deliver from MY
hand. When I act, who will reverse it?" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 43. 13
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The LORD of Hosts has sworn this oath—As I have designed (thought),
so shall it happen; what I have planned, that shall stand (come to
pass)...For the LORD OF HOSTS has planned, and who can annul or foil it?
HIS hand is stretched out (poised, prepared), and who can stop it (turn
it back)?" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 14. 24, 27 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Isn't HE
wonderful!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Purity of thought and nobility of action make all of life sacred.
May the love and peace of our INVINCIBLE GOD shine out of each of us...
...bright enough for all to see
...clear enough for all to follow.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Sun 06 Nov 2011, 2:59 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The FAITHFUL MASTER DESIGNER chooses what we go through; we choose how
we go through it.

MEANINGFUL PURPOSE
"When the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous man do?"
[Psalms (Tehillym) 11. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word "shathat" is translated— foundations which fittingly
means purpose, intent, basis, objective. The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is
our FIRM FOUNDATION and HE can never be done away with. But, a
CHRISTian can loose his purpose if his eyes are not focused continually
on the BLESSED SAVIOR.

When one is distracted with the cares of this world, Satan delights to
undermine and spoil the purpose SOVEREIGN GOD has for us, and we soon
deviate away from HIS will. "When the whirlwind passes the wicked man
is gone, but the righteous has an EVERLASTING FOUNDATION." [Proverbs
(Tehillym) 10. 25 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Man's purpose is to exalt, praise and worship OMNIPOTENT GOD. "YAH (I
AM) is my strength and might, HE has become my deliverance. HE is my
GOD, and I will praise and glorify HIM; the GOD of my fathers and I will
exalt HIM." [Exodus (Tehillym) 15. 2 Tanakh, Torah] "Let men thank and
praise the LORD for HIS steadfast love, HIS wondrous deeds for mankind!
Let them exalt HIM in the congregation of the people, and praise HIM in
the assembly of the elders." [Psalms (Tehillym) 107. 30 - 32 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

We will only be fulfilled and know a sense of worth and direction in our
life when MESSIAH'S commands and decrees are followed. As we carefully
pursue JESUS, the TRUE VINE, in HIS "doctrine, manner of life, purpose,
faith, longsuffering, love, perseverance, persecutions, afflictions" [2
Timothy 3. 10 - 11], "we may have confidence and not be ashamed before
HIM at HIS appearing." [1 John 2. 28]

"Nevertheless the solid foundation (purpose, basis) of ALMIGHTY GOD
stands, having this seal: "The LORD knows those who are HIS; and, let
everyone who names the NAME of CHRIST depart from iniquity." [2 Timothy
2. 19]

The LORD JESUS CHRIST, our SOLID FOUNDATION, is complete and by faith we
grow to a higher plane, day-by-day. "HE raises the poor from the dust,
and lifts the needy from the dung heap to set them with the great, with
the great men of HIS people." [Psalms (Tehillym) 113. 7 - 8 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] There is none other like our WONDERFUL ALL-WISE CREATOR ,
the GREATEST LOVER of our soul.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
As we celebrate Melave Malka (end of Sabbath) we bid you a good week.
Continue to praise our LORD, the EVERLASTING KING, HELPER, SAVIOR and
SHIELD for HIS loving-kindness is mighty over us. You, dearly beloved
friend are joy and crown. Thus, we encourage you to stand fast in the
BELOVED MESSIAH YESHUA.
Unto YOU, O LORD GOD we turn continually. For YOU alone abide deep in
the solitude of our hearts. May we ever trust in YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER,
and be unafraid in the face of the inscrutable (unfathomable,
immeasurable, unknowable, unimaginable) years, and see that everything
happens for the best. Because of YOU, there is perfect peace in our
hearts at the nearness of YOU.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Depravity leads to permissiveness, when righteousness is ignored.
Permissiveness leads to rationalization, when holiness is ignored.
Rationalization encourages rebellion, when repentance is ignored.
Rebellion is viewed the same witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity
and idolatry. [see 1 Samuel/Shemuel Alef 15. 23]

"POWER" OF THE ARK
"The Philistines took the ARK OF GOD and brought it into the temple of
Dagon and set it up beside Dagon (a Philistine idol-god of fertility;
represented with the face and hands of a man and the tail of a fish).
Early in the next day, the Ashdodites found Dagon lying face down on the
ground before the ARK OF THE LORD. They picked Dagon up and put him back
in his place; but early the next morning, Dagon was again lying prone on
the ground in front of the ARK OF THE LORD. The head and both hands of
Dagon were cut off, lying on the threshold; only Dagon's trunk of was
left intact." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 5. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The Philistines had captured the ARK OF THE COVENANT where the GREAT &
ALMIGHTY ONE met with HIS people, Israel, and set it up in the temple of
their stone god, Dagon. The first night, the worthless image fell down
before the Ark; the second night, he fell down again and broke in
pieces. On the third day, a great plague fell on the people of Ashdod.
Then, they immediately sent the ARK away!

Just as Dagon fell before the ARK OF GOD, so the priests and soldiers
who came to take YESHUA, the MAN OF SORROWS away "drew back and
fell to the ground" [John 18. 6] in the LORD'S PRESENCE. And, as the
temple of the stone god could not hold the Ark more then three days, the
whale could hold GOD'S Prophet Jonah for only three days, so the grave
could not hold the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH for more then that amount of
time.

The ARK OF THE COVENANT exhibited HOLY GOD'S great power both to bless
and to curse. It brought death to the Philistines who desecrated it as
well as to the Israelites when "the LORD stuck the men of Beth-Shemesh
because they looked into the ARK OF THE LORD." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef)
6. 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im] However, blessing accompanied the Ark to the
house Abinadab the Levite, and later to the house of Obed-Edom: "Then
the men of Kirjath-jearim came and took up the ARK OF THE LORD and
brought it into the house of Abinadab on the hill; and they consecrated
his son Eleazar to have charge of the ARK OF THE LORD. A long time
elapsed from the day that the Ark was housed in Kirjath-jearim, twenty
years in all." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 7. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The
ARK OF THE LORD remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three
months, and the LORD blessed Obed-Edom and his whole household." [2
Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 6. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The same is true of the LORD JESUS and all who are "in HIM WHO is the
head of all principality and power." [Colossians 2. 10] As the
GALILEAN walked here on earth, HIS actual presence was a blessing to
many, but others "asked HIM to depart from them, for they were seized
with great fear." [Luke 8. 37]

"For we are to GOD the fragrance of CHRIST among those who are being
saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of
death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to
life." [2 Corinthians 2. 15 - 16] To all who love HIM, the BELOVED
LORD JESUS is as the SPIKENARD'S FRAGRANCE, the BUNDLE OF MYRRH, and the
CLUSTER OF HENNA [SOS/Shir ha'Shirim 1. 12 - 14] blooming in the
Vineyards of En-Gedi.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Good Sabbath! Welcoming the Queen, the "Bride of the Week" . . . take
pleasure in the rest of love freely given a rest of truth and
sincerity a rest in peace and tranquility, in quiet and safety
a perfect rest in which you find favor. Have a peaceful, enriching
Shabbat with an objective to bless others.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Fri 04 Nov 2011, 7:40 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Don't set your goal to be a person of success, but rather a person of
value.

THE TORN VEIL
Under the OLD COVENANT, the Israelites were restricted concerning the
Temple, for they were allowed only through the gate or first entrance,
into the Court. They were shut off from the Holy Place by the Curtain
called The Door. Only the priests were allowed through this door.

A Jew, under the FIRST COVENANT, could not enter. Two sons of Aaron
(Nadab & Abihu) were struck dead when they attempted to enter bringing
strange fire rather than the required fire from the Sacrifice Altar.
[Leviticus/Vayikra 10. 1 - 7] King Uzziah, tried to enter the Holy
Place to burn incense and was struck with leprosy, consequently he lived
the rest of his days in a leper house. [2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet
26. 18 - 19] From this we learn that it is imperative that we worship
the MOST HOLY LORD GOD HIS way, not ours. The priests were shut off
from the Holy of Holies by the Veil. Only one man, the High Priest, was
allowed through the Veil into the Holy of Holies once a year; and at
that time he could not enter unless he carried the blood of the
sin-offering. {Moses, was also allowed into the Holy of Holies at any
time by GOD'S appointment — Exodus/Shemot 25. 22}

However, something happened to change these restrictions. They were done
away in the MESSIAH YESHUA for HE fulfilled the OLD COVENANT to
establish a NEW! "YESHUA (the LORD JESUS), when HE had cried out again
with a loud voice, yielded up HIS SPIRIT. And, behold, the Veil of the
Temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the
rocks were split." [Matthew 27. 50 - 51]

At the moment MESSIAH YESHUA died, the Veil ceased to exist. The LORD
YESHUA died at 3:00 in the afternoon which was the time of the evening
sacrifice (Hebrew: bain ha'arbaiim — between the evenings) in the
Temple. The priests were in the Holy Place in front of the Veil engaged
in their duties when this happened. How awful and wonderful was the
scene! They could see into the secret of the Holy of Holies. They could
enter in!

It was not by the hand of any man that this work was done! According to
some commentators on Jewish history, this Veil was 4 inches thick. It
was about 30 feet wide and 60 feet high, higher than a man could reach
and stronger than a man could rip apart. It is said that a team of oxen
tied to either end of the Veil and pulling in opposite directions would
not have had the power to divide it. And, nothing else in the building
was shaken or marred in any way. It did not fall in tatters…a piece
here and a piece there…it was torn in the middle in two equal
pieces. It was torn from Top to the Bottom in a straight line downwards
and completely through. It was not jerked apart by anyone from below,
but cleanly cut by an "INVISIBLE HAND" from above.

Being torn from the top and not from the bottom clearly shows that the
MIGHTY GOD SUPREME had been there and ripped that curtain apart,
throwing the Holy of Holies open — not just once a year to the High
Priest only, but to everyone whom the blood of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH has
cleansed! In other words, GOD, the KEEPER OF THE COVENANT is no longer
shut in alone. . . HE can be approached. HE can be met, known, touched
and experienced personally. Both Jew and Gentile who have come to the
MIGHTY GOD OF JACOB through the LORD JESUS, the LIVING MEDIATOR are no
longer shut off, but can now boldly come past the Door...past the Veil.
. . all the way into the incredible Holy of Holies to meet with the
ALMIGHTY LORD GOD OF HOSTS, the MIGHTY DEFENDER OF ISRAEL!

"Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holies by the blood
of MESSIAH YESHUA, by a new and living way which HE consecrated for us,
through the Veil, that is, HIS flesh (freshly slain), and having a HIGH
PRIEST over the House of GOD, let us draw near with a true heart in full
assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience
and our bodies washed with pure water." [Hebrews 10. 19 - 22]

Day by day, may we draw nearer and higher to the ROCK, our SHELTER &
STRONG TOWER and abide in YOUR Tabernacle as we trust in the SHELTER of
YOUR wings. This is our fervent prayer.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Merciful KING awaken our soul to grateful acknowledgement of YOUR grace
which has bestowed upon us the gift of life, and make our pathway come
in safety to the coveted goal — YOUR LOVING PRESENCE. LORD, YOUR
loving-kindness is mighty over us, and we are ever grateful to YOU,
blessed be YOUR GLORIOUS NAME forever!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Thu 03 Nov 2011, 6:56 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Know from whence you came, and where you are going, and to WHOM you will
give account for your deeds.

GLORIFIED VISION
"In the midst of the seven lamp-stands ONE like the SON OF MAN, clothed
with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden
band." [Revelation 1. 13]

This is a sanctuary scene, a priestly scene, as viewed in the OLD
COVENANT Tabernacle and Temple. The ANCIENT OF DAYS is seen inspecting
the Church (HIS people) just as Aaron inspected the candlestick in the
Holy Place — noticing the oil supply, the condition of the wicks,
and snuffing the carbon, if necessary, so the lights would burn bright.
The lamp-stands represent testimony — "You are the light of the
world" and "judgment begins at the HOUSE OF GOD" — so MESSIAH YESHUA
trims and refines HIS Church into perfection.

"Clothed with garments down to HIS feet" symbolizes dignity and honor.
The LORD JESUS, in a priestly robe, is a Priest; a royal garment, a
King; in a judicial attire, a Judge (Prophet). This robe is made of
linen which represents righteousness (to be holy). The Holy Garments of
linen are the mitre, broidered coat, girdle and the breeches.
Symbolically, they are worn to show: the Mitre — holiness of
thought; Broidered Coat — holiness of heart; Girdle — holiness
of service; Breeches — holiness of flesh.

The robe was seamless indicating no beginning and no ending. The hem of
the blue (heavens color) robe had alternating bells and pomegranates.
Pomegranates with their multitude of seed indicating fruitfulness. The
bell, which is gold, has a tongue in it. Gold for DIVINE, a tongue for
telling the testimony. The bells ring clearly because of the pomegranate
between each bell. Our LORD JESUS wore the fruit and bells spiritually
all around the hem of HIS seamless garment as HE walked upon the earth.
HE had a clear ringing testimony which was backed up by the fruit of HIS
life.

The JEWISH TALMUD asserts: "The Bells said to the fruit-bearing Trees
— Why do you not make any noise? —The Trees reply — Our
fruits are sufficient advertisement for us."

"The Golden Belt around HIS breast" speaks of HIS righteousness; the
gold, HIS Divine Glory. As the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, YESHUA will usher in
the "Day of Vengeance." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 4] Because HE is the
SON OF MAN, HE will judge all humanity. "For as the FATHER has life in
HIMSELF, so HE has granted the SON to have life in HIMSELF, and has
given HIM authority to execute judgment also, because HE is the SON OF
MAN." [John 5. 26 - 27]

"HIS head and HIS hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and HIS
eyes like a flame of fire." [Revelation 1. 14] "HIS head and hairs,
white as wool" illustrates JESUS' fatherhood and patriarchal dignity and
wisdom as the ANCIENT of DAYS. The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is all this!
In HIM is all the full divine perfections of GOD'S nature embodied. In
HIM is all the hidden treasure of divine wisdom and spiritual
illumination.

"Eyes as a flame of fire" shows intelligence - burning, all penetrating
intelligence. . . power to read secrets, to bring hidden things to
light, to warm and search all hearts at a single glance. Nothing is
hidden from HIM WHO is OMNISCIENT GOD.

"HIS feet were like fine copper, as if refined in a furnace, and HIS
voice as the sound of many waters." [Revelation 1. 15] "HIS feet were
like burning copper refined in a furnace." Copper represents judgment.
"I will glorify the place where MY feet rest." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 60. 13
Tanakh, Nevi'im] "HIS feet shall tread down HIS enemies; they shall
tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of ALMIGHTY GOD."
[Revelation 19. 15; Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 6]

"Voice as the sound of many waters" show that HE is powerful, yet
altogether lovely. "See that you do not refuse HIM WHO speaks, for if
they did not escape WHO refused HIM WHO spoke on earth, much more shall
we not escape if we turn away from HIM WHO speaks from heaven WHOSE
VOICE then shook the earth." [Hebrews 12. 25; Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 25.
30-31; Psalms/Tehillym 29]

"HE had in HIS right hand seven stars, out of HIS mouth went a sharp
two-edged sword, and HIS countenance was like the sun shining in its
strength." [Revelation 1. 16] "In HIS right hand seven stars" —
here the LORD JESUS is seen upholding and sustaining the ministry of HIS
Church. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 10] "Out of HIS mouth...a sharp Two-Edged
Sword" this is HIS OWN WORD, the LIVING, ACTIVE, POWERFUL WORD OF GOD,
by which HE shall judge the Church. [Hebrew 4. 1 2] "HIS countenance
as the sun shines in HIS strength." MESSIAH YESHUA is the GREAT CREATIVE
SOURCE from which all light comes. HE is the "SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. "
[Malachi/Malakhi 4. 2] JESUS is "the LIGHT of the Eternal City."
[Revelation 21. 23; 22. 5]

"And when I saw HIM, I fell at HIS feet as dead. But HE laid HIS right
hand on me saying to me — Do not be afraid; I am the FIRST and the
LAST." [Revelation 1. 17] Here the glory of MESSIAH'S presence is too
great — words cannot describe HIM — HE is so overwhelming to
see, John is completely prostrated as though dead. But, John is
reassured by the words of the LORD— Fear Not! John's fears and ours
are forever gone when we realize MESSIAH YESHUA'S three-fold revelation
of HIMSELF: "I am HE WHO lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive
forevermore, Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."
[Revelation 1. 18] "I am the FIRST and LAST" — now MESSIAH shows
HIS deity. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 4; 48. 12; Revelation 22. 13] "I am HE
WHO lives and was dead, and behold, "I AM ALIVE FOREVERMORE. "
[Revelation 1. 18] The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the LIVING ONE WHO tasted
death on our behalf, Who was victorious over all and came forth
CONQUEROR & GLORIOUS KING.

"I have the keys of death and hell." The LORD JESUS holds the keys
(authority, power over) of hell. [Revelation 1. 18] JESUS, the KING
ETERNAL, opens and none can shut, HE shuts and none can open. While
death still holds the bodies of the Saints temporarily, their spirits
are no longer in Hades, but in the heavenlies with JESUS CHRIST THE
LORD. The gates of hell can not prevail against the Church in the LORD
YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. Hallelu'YAH!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises & consolations
that may be uttered in this world. May peace abundant descend from
heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Wed 02 Nov 2011, 6:34 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The best sermons are lived, not preached.

CHOOSE WISELY
"But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will
not be taken away from her." [Luke 10. 42]

Both Miryam (Mary) and Martha, the sisters of Lazarus, loved the LORD
YESHUA and wanted to please HIM. JESUS also loved them, and was a
frequent guest at their home in Bethany. Martha was distracted by all
the preparations that had to be made, busying herself in activity and
service to be pleasing to the LORD. Mary, on the other hand, was
content to sit "at Jesus' feet and heard HIS WORD." [Luke 10. 39] So,
Martha approached HIM and said, "LORD, do YOU not care that my sister
has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me. — And
JESUS answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and
troubled about many things" [Luke 10. 40 - 41], but Mary has chosen what
is better. And, would it not be just like our WONDERFUL MASTER to have
gotten up and helped both women with the meal preparation, after
teaching them!

Hundreds of years prior to this setting, the patriarch Job, whom
ALMIGHTY GOD had said was "a blameless and upright man who fears GOD and
shuns evil…there is no one like him on earth" [Job/Iyob 1. 8 Tanakh,
Kethuvim], had also chosen that good part. "I have not departed from
what HIS lips commanded; I have treasured HIS WORDS more than my daily
bread." [Job (Iyob) 23. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The only way we can sit at JESUS' feet and hear HIS WORD today is by
reading and meditating on the LIFE-GIVING INSTRUCTIONS. We should make
priority time available for this "good part" along with our other daily
obligations and responsibilities. Hearing and obeying HIS PRECIOUS
COMMAND is vital for our very existence, for "faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the WORD OF GOD." [Romans 10. 17]

Miryam (Mary) had a heart like David: "One thing I ask of YEHOWAH, only
that do I seek…to live in the HOUSE OF THE LORD all the days of my
life, to gaze upon the beauty (delightfulness) of YEHOWAH, to frequent
HIS Temple." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The psalmist
wrote of this truth he had learned: "Oh, how I love YOUR TEACHING! It is
my study all day long...How sweet is YOUR WORD to my taste, sweeter than
honey to my mouth! Through YOUR precepts I get understanding. " [Psalms
(Tehillym) 119. 97, 103 - 104 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

We have an even greater, sweeter privilege than Job, or the psalmist, or
Mary because we have all the HOLY Scriptures. So, if you truly desire
"the best part" the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH will provide the
understanding through HIS PRECEPTS. And, "How much better to acquire
wisdom than gold; to acquire understanding is preferable to silver."
[Proverbs (Mishle) 16. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Listen, learn, and receive
the greatest riches on earth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
HE WHO keeps Israel neither slumbers or sleeps! Who is like YOU, O LORD
GOD? Who is like YOU, glorious in holiness, revered in worship, wondrous
in works? There is none! Infinite is YOUR power, so is YOUR love. The
LORD'S promise to HIS Jewish people: "As you behold, you will glow;
your heart will throb and thrill — for the abundance of the sea
shall be turned to you and the riches of nations shall flow to you.
Whereas you have been forsaken, rejected and hated, with none passing
through, I will make you a pride everlasting, a joy for age after age."
[Isaiah/Yeshayah 60. 5, 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Tue 01 Nov 2011, 11:03 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
What is improper in public is forbidden in secret.

FOOT of PRIDE
"Let not the foot of the proud and arrogant tread on me, or the hand of
the wicked drive me away." [Psalms (Tehillym) 36. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This not only shows the contrast only between good and evil; but above
all, between the prideful man living without a fear of the ALMIGHTY, and
the one who has a reverential fear of GOD ETERNAL and is living
blamelessly before HIM.

"I know what transgression says to the wicked; he has no sense of the
dread of GOD because its speech is seduction to him till his iniquity be
found out and he be hated. His words are wickedly evil and deceitful; he
has ceased to be wise and will not consider doing good. In bed he plots
mischief; he is set on a path of no good; he does not abhor evil nor
reject it." [Psalms (Tehillym) 36. 1 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This fully
describes the new age humanist today. The humanists are somehow
convinced that there is no LIVING OMNISCIENT GOD, but if HE does exist,
certainly does not intervene in the affairs of men.

Therefore, the cynic, the agnostic humanist, sets himself up as the
authority and does what is right in his own eyes. He is foolish in the
ultimate sense even practicing abhorrent sins in the very face of the
HOLY OMNIPOTENT GOD insisting that promiscuity, homosexuality,
witchcraft, abortion, child molestation, evolution, etc. are to be
accepted and desired. "There is none who understands; there is none who
seeks after GOD. They have all turned aside; they have together become
unprofitable; there is none who does good, no, not one. Their throat is
an open tomb; with their tongues they have practiced deceit; the poison
of asps is under their lips; whose mouth is full of cursing and
bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood; destruction and misery
are in their ways; and the way of peace they have not known. There is no
fear of GOD before their eyes." [Romans 3. 11 - 18]

The GREAT GOD OF CREATION does deal with men and HIS desire is for mans
good. "O LORD YOUR mercy and faithfulness reaches to heaven; YOUR
steadfastness to the sky; YOUR righteousness and beneficence is like the
high mountains; YOUR justice like the great deep; man and beast YOU
deliver, O LORD. How precious is YOUR loving-kindness and faithful care,
O GOD! Mankind shelters in the shadow of YOUR wings. They feast on the
rich fare of YOUR house; YOU let them drink at YOUR refreshing stream.
With YOU is the fountain of life; by YOUR light do we see light."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 36. 5 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The ALMIGHTY ONE will break the pride (Hebrew: ga'own arrogance)
of power and your strength will be spent in vain . The wicked man's
foot of pride will ultimately fall: "There lie the workers of iniquity,
the evildoers, fallen. They have been thrust down and are unable to
rise." [Psalms (Tehillym) 36. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] But we can pray as
David prayed, "Bestow YOUR loving-kindness and faithful care on those
devoted to YOU, and YOUR righteousness and beneficence on the upright in
heart" [Psalms (Tehillym) 36. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim], and be confident
that the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL hears and is faithful to answer.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
The LORD GOD gave America as a land for freedom to serve HIM, and we
experienced HIS blessings. However, the people have not faithfully
obeyed HIS voice nor walked in HIS Law. They did not continue in all
that the HOLY ONE commanded them to do; therefore we have caused all
this great calamity to come upon ourselves. If we as a nation would
only repent and turn to the RIGHTEOUS LOVING CREATOR, HE would bring
about all the good that HE promised to those who love HIM in sincerity
and truth. If we do not fully repent, watch for the basest
(dishonorable, improper, shameful, sordid, disgusting, corrupt, vile,
degraded, immoral, wicked, depraved) of men to be placed in power in
this country and all the other nations. see Daniel/Danyel 4. 17

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Mon 31 Oct 2011, 7:51 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We must not mistake sincerity for truth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the Law of CHRIST. For each
one shall bear his own load." [Galatians 6. 2, 5]

This is not a contradiction in HOLY SCRIPTURE though frequently sited as
such. This is two separate, equally valid commandments. The Apostle
Paul commanded us to bear other's burdens, or "heavy load"
nonetheless we must bear our own burden or "responsibility. "

When a fellow CHRISTian has been stricken, overtaken with a great burden
- sickness, death of a loved one or another problem in life he
needs desperately the love and support of his brother. GOD'S EDIFYING
WORD declares that when we help relieve this burden, we "fulfill the Law
of CHRIST." "For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even in
this You shall love your neighbor as yourself." [Galatians 5. 14]

At the same time, the privilege of having faithful friends who will
share and help with an otherwise unbearable load does not absolve us
from the responsibility of doing our own part in carrying out our
GOD-given responsibilities. It is essential that we "aspire to lead a
quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your own
hands...that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and
that you may lack nothing." [1 Thessalonians 4. 11 - 12]

Every man is urged to examine and prove his own work [Galatians 6. 4]
lest he deceive himself. The OMNIPOTENT ALMIGHTY ONE created and gave
HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON to redeemed us, we can be sure that He is most
concerned about us and will not allow trials or burdens upon us that are
too grievous and excessive for us to bear. "No temptation has overtaken
you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, WHO will not
allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the
temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to
bear it." [1 Corinthians 10. 13]

We know that every problem that comes our way is something that our
PHENOMENAL CREATOR knows we are able to bear; following the example of
the LORD YESHUA, WHO knowing "the joy that was set before Him, endured
the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of
the Throne of God." [Hebrews 12. 2] We show our love and respect to our
HEAVENLY FATHER as we readily and thankfully accept HIS correction,
testing, easy yoke, and guiding-eye.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Nations are in ruin because their tongue and their doings are against
the HOLY LORD GOD of the Universe, to provoke the eyes of HIS glory. The
look on their countenance witnesses against them, and they declare their
sin as Sodom: They do not hide it. WOE! To their soul! For they have
brought evil upon themselves. [Yeshayah/Isaiah 3:8-9]
O come, eagerly and willingly, let us walk in the LIGHT OF THE LORD!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In creative work, never consider quantity. Obadiah consists of one
chapter, yet it found its place in the BIBLE. [-Chaim Nahman Bialik]

ASSURANCE OF SALVATION
"The work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of
righteousness, quietness and assurance forever." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 32.
17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This blessed assurance is forever along with true peace of soul and
quietness of spirit, which are products of the "work of righteousness. "
We are instructed, "Sow righteousness for yourselves; reap the fruits of
mercy; precociously break for yourselves fresh ground of seeking the
LORD, till HE comes and rains fruits of righteousness on you." [Hosea
(Hoshea) 32. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The NEW COVENANT exposition of genuine righteousness makes it clear that
we who have received MESSIAH'S work of righteousness by faith have
"become the righteousness of GOD in HIM." [2 Corinthians 5. 21] "To him
who does not work but believes on HIM WHO justifies the ungodly, his
faith is accounted for righteousness. " [Romans 4. 5]

This, salvation is the priceless possession of those to whom the LORD
YESHUA'S work of righteousness bas been imputed through faith.
Quietness and peace of heart, is experienced only by saved believers who
practice the work of righteousness in their daily walk with the LORD.
If we truly have salvation, then we ought to manifest the things that
accompany salvation — "for GOD is not unrighteous to forget your
work and labor of love which you have shown toward HIS NAME...And we
desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full
assurance of hope until the end... imitate those who through faith and
patience inherit the promises." [Hebrews 6. 9 - 12]

Indeed, we can know that we are saved simply through faith in HIS work
and HIS WORD — "These things I have written to you who believe in
the NAME of the SON OF GOD, that you may know that you have eternal
life, and that you may continue to believe in the NAME of the SON OF
GOD." [1 John 5. 13] "For by grace you have been saved through faith,
and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of GOD, not of works, lest
anyone should boast." [Ephesians 2. 8]

Nevertheless, to know that one's faith itself is genuine, evidence
is needed in our daily lives. If indeed you continue in the faith,
grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the HOPE OF THE
GOSPEL which you heard." [Colossians 1. 23] GOD has given us this test
of faith, "Now by this we know that we know HIM, if we keep HIS
commandments. " [1 John 2. 3]

We definitely have blessed assurance of salvation and a foretaste of
glory divine when we have JESUS, the SOVEREIGN LORD OF THE UNIVERSE.
HalleluYAH!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE
dwells within us, bless you abundantly.
Help us, O our GOD, to banish from our hearts all pride and vain-glory,
all confidence in worldly possessions, all self-sufficient leaning upon
our own reason. Fill us with the spirit of meekness and the grace of
modesty, that we may become wise in the fear of YOU. May we never forget
that all we have and prize is but lent to us, a trust for which we must
render account to YOU. O HEAVENLY FATHER , put into our hearts the
love and fear of YOU, that we my consecrate our lives to YOUR service
and glorify YOUR NAME in the eyes of all men.
May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout the week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Never mind the remorse, don't commit the sin!

BOTTLED TEARS
"YOU (LORD GOD) keep count of my wanderings; put my tears into YOUR
bottle; into YOUR record book." [Psalms (Tehillym) 56. 8 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

The Hebrew prophets mention professional mourners, who were called in at
the time of sorrow to express mourning for the dead. "Send for the
skilled women, let them come. Let them quickly start a wailing for us
that our eyes may run with tears, our eyelids flow with water."
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Tears flow freely and
openly in the Oriental custom, a highly emotional peoples - at such
times they are considered to be a definite means of bringing comfort to
sorrowing hearts. [John 11. 33] It was not uncommon to see the tears
being gathered and collected into bottles and kept as special
remembrances.

The weeping woman, a sinner, who washed MESSIAH YESHUA'S feet with her
tears and wiped them with the hair of her head, was none other than
Miryam (Mary) the sister of Martha and Lazarus. The tears she wept and
the precious bottled tears were used to wash the feet of her LORD, then
she proceeded to kiss and anoint them with the fragrant oil from the
alabaster flask. [Luke 7. 37 - 50] Though her sins were many, they were
forgiven, for she loved much. Noticeably, the more one is forgiven, the
more they are able to love!

Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, desired that his people would have a
change of heart so they too could be forgiven, "Oh my suffering, my
suffering! How I am pained and writhe! Oh, the walls of my heart! My
heart moans within me, I cannot be silent; for disaster overtakes
disaster" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 4. 19-20 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "that is why I
say— Let me be, I will weep bitterly; do not labor to comfort me
because of the ruin of my poor people." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 22. 4 Tanakh,
Nevi'im] "Oh, that my head were water, my eyes a fountain of tears!
Then would I weep day and night for the slain of my poor people!"
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you
sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and
weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE will lift you up."
[James 4. 8 - 10] The HOLY CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL stores our tears and
they are precious to HIM as we "delight to do HIS will and keep HIS Law
in our heart." [Psalms/Tehillym 40. 8] Great and wondrous promises
belong to those who seek for the TRUE & LIVING GOD in sincerity; and
trust and obey.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Good Sabbath! Open your hearts in song as the sunset swells into a
cadence of changing colours: "Come, my dear friend, to meet the Bride,
the Sabbath presence, let us welcome."
May your heart be filled with intuition and your words be filled with
insight; songs of praise ever be upon your tongue and your vision be on
a straight path before you. May your eyes shine with the light of holy
words and your face reflect the brightness of the heavens; and, your
lips ever speak wisdom and your fulfillment be in righteousness even as
you ever yearn to hear the words of the HOLY ONE OF OLD.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Fri 28 Oct 2011, 6:31 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Reality is only a memory ahead of its time.

UNSTABLE FOUNDATIONS
"For the LORD will exonerate HIS people, have compassion on and take
revenge for HIS servants, when HE sees that their power is gone, and
neither bond nor free is left." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 36 Tanakh,
Torah]

"The Law is powerless, decisions fail and justice never emerges; for
wicked villains surround the righteous men — therefore perverse,
deformed judgment proceeds." [Habakkuk 1. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Today, at
this very moment in time, these portions of HOLY SCRIPTURE are happening
now and being fulfilled daily.

Most people, Jew and Gentile, are blinded walking about in intense
darkness. "They do not know the thoughts or designs of the LORD, they do
not discern or understand HIS counsel or intent; HE has gathered them
like cut grain to the threshing floor." [Micah (Michah) 4. 12 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

Evil thinking and wicked life-styles thrive and flourish when those in
authority are making decisions and passing laws to our devastation
bringing total destruction. "All the foundations of the earth are
unstable" [Psalms/Tehillym 82. 5] for the HOLY ETERNAL ONE will shake
the foundations of the earth in the wrath of HIS judgment. The Hebrew
word for foundation is "mowcad" portrayed as the footing, base,
groundwork or cornerstone.

"When the power of the holy people has come to an end, then all these
things shall be fulfilled." [Daniel (Danyel) 12. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
The Jewish teachers of the Law say it this way— "When the power of
the holy people is completely shattered... then MESSIAH will come." This
also is truth, "I will shake the heavens, and the earth will leap out of
its place, at the fury of the LORD OF HOSTS on the day of HIS fierce
burning wrath." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 13. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Because of
the extreme wickedness of all the nations, "the sun and the moon are
darkened, and stars withdraw their brightness. The LORD will roar from
Zion and shout aloud from Jerusalem, so that heaven and earth tremble.
But the LORD will be a SHELTER to HIS people, a REFUGE to the children
of Israel." [Joel (Yoel) 3. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Furthermore, the POSSESSOR OF HEAVEN & EARTH says— "In just a little
while longer I will shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and dry
land; I will shake all the nations. And the PRECIOUS DESIRE of all
nations shall come, and I will fill this Temple with glory, said the
LORD OF HOSTS." [Haggai (Chagai) 2. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"See that you do not refuse HIM WHO speaks, for if they did not escape
who refused HIM WHO spoke on earth. Much more shall we not escape if we
turn away from HIM WHO speaks from heaven, WHOSE VOICE then shook the
earth; but now HE has promised, saying — Yet once more I shake not
only the earth, but also heaven." [Hebrews 12. 25 - 26]

The LORD GOD only requires you to ask HIM into your life and seek the
REDEEMER OF ISRAEL, "So I say to you, Ask! and it will be given to you;
Seek! and you will find; Knock! and it will be opened to you." [Luke 11.
9] Then, HE will exalt and glorify you. "Seek the LORD while HE can be
found, call to HIM while HE is near. Let the wicked give up his ways,
the sinful man his plans; let them turn back to the LORD, and HE will
have mercy and pardon him; for our GOD freely forgives." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 55. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Wonderful! Wonderful! is our
LOVING, FAITHFUL, REDEEMING LORD GOD & SAVIOR!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Let not your heart be troubled, glorify the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, the
TRUE KING of all ages — allow HIS SPIRIT to comfort and transform
your life. HE can!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
I hope I can love a "tsaddik (righteous person)" as much as GOD loves a
wicked man. [ -Baal Shem Tov]

THREE MEASURES
"The Kingdom of Heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in
three measures of meal till it was all leavened." [Matthew 13. 33]

Leaven is an influence on bread dough. Here, it pictures the influence
of the church in the world, for when the Church is removed, no influence
for good will be left. It is the SPIRIT OF HOLINESS in GOD'S people
that restrains the wicked and keeps back the flood of rampant,
uncontrolled rage and the turbulence of wickedness. This is the
condition that will envelop the world when the power of the holy people
is gone, deterrents all removed, total havoc then fills the earth.
"When the power of the holy people comes to an end, then shall all these
things be fulfilled." [Daniel (Danyel) 12. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim] We, the
Christ-like- ones are the "salt of the earth" and "the lights in the
world." [Matthew 5. 13 - 16]

"For there are THREE that bear witness in heaven — the FATHER, the
WORD, and the HOLY SPIRIT; and these THREE are ONE. And there are THREE
that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and
these three agree as one." [1 John 5. 7 - 8]

The SPIRIT gives life eternal, "The SPIRIT OF GOD formed me; the BREATH
of the Shaddai sustains me." [Job (Iyob) 33. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
MESSIAH YESHUA said— "It is the Spirit Who gives life—the words
that I speak to you are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE." [John 6. 63] The
Water is for regeneration. The LORD YESHUA taught— "He who is
bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean." [John 13.
10] And the Blood is required for salvation— "For the life of the
flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for
your lives upon the Alter; it is the BLOOD, as LIFE, that makes
ATONEMENT." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

In his act of hospitality, Abraham instructed Sarah to prepare "three
measures of fine flour, knead and make cakes" [Genesis/Bereshith 18. 6]
for the three men who came to his tent, influencing or satisfying them.
The EVER-LIVING MIGHTY ONE then reassured Abraham that a son would be
born to him, "I will certainly return to you according to the time of
life, and your wife Sarah shall have a son." [Genesis/Bereshith 18. 10]
Whatever the ALMIGHTY CREATOR says will, surely and for certain, come to
pass.

And, we can be assured that what our LOVING MASTER says, HE will do. "I
will not refrain or spare or relent. You will be judged according to
your ways and your deeds — declares the LORD GOD." [Ezekiel
(Yehezke-El) 24. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Eternal is YOUR power, O LORD, YOU are mighty to save. In
loving-kindness YOU sustain the living; in the multitude of YOUR mercies
YOU preserve all. YOU uphold the falling and heal the sick; free the
captive and keep faith with YOUR children in death as in life. Who is
like YOU, ALMIGHTY GOD, AUTHOR of life and death, SOURCE of salvation?
Praised are YOU, O LORD, WHO has implanted within us eternal life. And,
may peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all
Israel, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Wed 26 Oct 2011, 3:58 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
You don't play around with the ALMIGHTY HOLY LORD GOD! First, it's not
allowed — second, HE won't let you.

MAGNIFY THE LORD
"Let all that seek YOU be glad and rejoice in YOU; let those who are
eager for YOUR deliverance always say—Extolled and magnified be
ELOHIYM!" [Psalms (Tehillym) 70. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Those who love the MESSIAH YESHUA will do as this text declares.
However, most people tend to magnify other people and vain ideas and
viewpoints, even following them to the death; or worship them instead of
the OMNIPOTENT CREATOR. How completely, unreservedly foolish!

It is the ALL-LOVING MASTER WHO has given us our very life and sustains
the heavens and earth for us. HE is the ONE WHO gives us the abilities
and opportunities to do. Though we are to give honour where honour is
due, we should first and foremost honour and worship the SOVEREIGN GOD
OF HEAVEN. Our gifts and talents HE has given us are also to be used
for HIS glory and praise; and furthermore, we should thank HIM
continually for those gifts of service.

We should magnify only what AUTHOR & FINISHER HIMSELF has magnified.
"HE will magnify and glorify HIS Law & Teachings, and make them
honorable." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 42. 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Be careful not
to diminish the weighty importance and significant power and authority
of GOD'S Law, as is the tendency of the world; rather we should magnify
HIS Law and commands.

The precious WORD OF GOD is magnified above all: "YOU have magnified and
exalted YOUR NAME, YOUR WORD above all." [Psalms (Tehillym) 138. 2
Tanakh, Kethuvim] GOD'S HOLY WORD is essential. . . absolutely
imperative! — nothing is more important. Our greatest blessing was
when GOD HIMSELF magnified the LIFE-GIVING WORD — HE sent HIS ONLY
BEGOTTEN-SON, JESUS. "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was
with GOD, and the WORD was GOD." [John 1. 1] GOD THE FATHER commanded
worship of GOD THE WORD. "When HE (GOD THE FATHER) again brings the
firstborn (YESHUA — GOD THE LIVING WORD) into the world, HE
says—Let all the angels of GOD worship HIM." [Hebrews 1. 6]

"Extolled be the LORD, let GOD be magnified." [Psalms (Tehillym) 40. 16
Tanakh, Kethuvim] Accordingly, we revere the LORD OF GLORY when we
magnify JESUS, the WORD-MADE-FLESH. Bless the LORD at all times, "O
magnify the LORD with me, let us exalt HIS NAME together." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 34. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim] We cannot help but love and adore
such a WONDERFUL GOD, SAVIOR & VICTORIOUS KING.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
The CHRISTIAN is to demonstrate that the HOLY ONE exists as the
infinite-personal GOD; and then simultaneously show GOD'S character
of holiness and love. Not HIS holiness without HIS love; that is
harshness. Not HIS love without HIS holiness, that is compromise. If the
individual CHRISTIAN or CHRISTIAN group fails to show the balance of the
holiness and love of GOD, they present to the watching world, a
distorted misrepresentation of the infinite eternal GOD WHO does exist.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem is praying for the return of Messiah
Jesus and His Kingdom.
