A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The end of a quarrel is repentance.
PURE-UNDEFILED RELIGION
"For the LORD your GOD is GOD SUPREME (GOD of gods) and LORD SUPREME
(LORD of lords) the great, the mighty and the awesome GOD, WHO shows no
favor and takes no bribe, but upholds the cause of the fatherless and
the widow, and befriends the stranger, providing him with food and
clothing. You too must befriend the stranger, for you were strangers in
the land of Egypt." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 10. 17 - 19 Tanakh, Torah]

There are many opinions when asked what true religion is. The only way
to know for sure, however, is to catch sight of the heart and mind of
the ALL-WISE CREATOR by reading and meditating on HIS HOLY WORD. Then,
we can see how man's ideas compare to what ALMIGHTY GOD is looking for.
HIS Laws and precepts are the only ones that are important!

"Do not neglect the Levite in your community, for he has no inherited
portion as you have. Every third year you shall bring out the full tithe
of your yield of that year, but leave it within your settlements. Then
the Levite, who has no inherited portion as you have, and the stranger,
the fatherless and the widow in your settlement shall come and eat their
fill, so that the LORD your GOD may bless you in all the enterprises you
undertake." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 14. 27 - 29 Tanakh, Torah]

"Wash yourselves clean, put your evil doings away from MY sight. Cease
to do evil; learn to do good; devote yourself to justice, aid the
wronged; uphold the rights of the orphan; defend the cause of the
widow." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 1. 16 - 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Woe! to those who write out evil writs and compose iniquitous
documents, to subvert the cause of the poor, to rob of their rights the
needy of MY people; that widows may be their spoil, and fatherless
children their booty! What will you do on the day of punishment, when
the calamity comes from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And how
will you save your carcasses?" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 10. 1 - 3 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

"The ear that heard me acclaimed me, the eye that saw, commended me. For
I saved the poor man who cried out, the orphan who had none to help him.
I received the blessing of the lost; I gladdened the heart of the widow.
I clothed myself in righteousness and it covered me; justice was my
cloak and turban." [Job (Iyob) 29. 11 - 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Break off
your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to
the poor." [Daniel (Danyel) 4. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"The LORD OF HOSTS says— Execute true justice, deal loyally,
mercifully and compassionately with one another. Do not defraud the
widow, the orphan, the stranger or the poor. Do not plot evil against
one another." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 7. 9 - 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The
LORD says— Do what is just and right; rescue from the defrauder him
who is robbed; do not wrong the stranger, the fatherless or the widow;
commit no lawless act, and do not shed the blood of the innocent in this
place." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 22. 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For if anyone is a hearer of the WORD and not a doer, he is like a man
observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes himself, goes
away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks
into the perfect Law of liberty and CONTINUES IN IT, and is not a
forgetful hearer but a DOER of the work, this one will be blessed in
what he does. If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not
bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is
useless. Pure and Undefiled Religion before GOD and the FATHER is this:
To visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself
unspotted from the world." [James 1. 23 - 27]

"By this we know love, because HE laid down HIS life for us. And we also
ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoever has this
world's goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from
him, how does the love of GOD abide in him? MY little children, let us
not love in word or in tongue, but in DEED and in TRUTH." [1 John 3. 16
- 18]

This next text is in regards to a bishop and anyone naming the NAME of
MESSIAH YESHUA, all are to be "blameless, as a steward of GOD, not
self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not
greedy for money, but hospitable, a lover of what is good, sober-minded,
just, holy, self-controlled, holding fast the faithful word as he has
been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and
convict those who contradict." [Titus 1. 7 - 9]

"Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works
and glorify your FATHER in heaven" [Matthew 5. 16] that those who error
in spirit will come to understand and fear the GOD OF ISRAEL, learn
sound doctrine, and know the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE as their REDEEMER & LORD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
O LORD, pardon the sins, transgressions and iniquities which we have
committed before YOU. Purify us of all our errors and iniquities so that
our life may be worthy of the name we bear and our home become a
sanctuary consecrated to YOUR PRESENCE and dedicated to righteousness.
Humbled by the sense of our weakness and our guilt, we ask YOU, O GOD of
our fathers, to help us to serve YOU in sincerity and in truth; and in
serving YOU, may our example help to lead many to YOU.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The gift is not as precious as the thought.

REWARDS & BLESSINGS
"Bless the LORD, O my soul and do not forget all HIS bounties." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 103. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Indeed, the benefits of the LORD OMNIPOTENT are great and marvelous and
it would be an act of ingratitude not to remember and appreciate them:

FORGIVENESS: "HE forgives all your sins." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 3
Tanakh, Kethuvim] ALMIGHTY GOD forgives all — as we ask when we
come to HIM in repentance with a humble and penitent heart! "The blood
of JESUS CHRIST, GOD'S SON cleanses us from all sin." [1 John 1. 7]

HEALING: "HE heals all your diseases." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 3
Tanakh, Kethuvim] The greatest and ultimate disease is death. But one
day very soon, "there shall be no more death." [Revelation 21. 4]

REDEMPTION: "HE redeems your life from the Pit." [Psalms (Tehillym)
103. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "You are not redeemed with corruptible things,
like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition
from your fathers, but with the precious blood of MESSIAH, as of a lamb
without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

GLORIFICATION: "HE surrounds you with steadfast love and tender mercy."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "" Ho! Everyone who thirsts,
Come to the waters; and you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes,
come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you
spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not
satisfy? Listen carefully to ME, and eat what is good, and let your soul
delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come to ME. Hear, and
your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you
— The sure mercies of David. Indeed I have given him as a witness to
the people, a leader and commander for the people. Surely you shall call
a nation you do not know, and nations who do not know you shall run to
you, because of the LORD your GOD, and the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL; for HE
has glorified you." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 55. 1 - 5] "Then out of them shall
proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will
multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them,
and they shall not be small." [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 30. 19] "If indeed we
suffer with HIM (YESHUA), we may also be glorified together...Moreover
whom HE predestined, these HE also called; whom HE called, these HE also
justified; and whom HE justified, these HE also glorified." [Romans 8.
17, 30]

PROVISION: "HE satisfies you with good things in the prime of life."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Every good gift and every
perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the FATHER of lights,
with WHOM there is no variation or shadow of turning." [James 1. 17]

STRENGTH: "Your youth is renewed like the eagle's. " [Psalms (Tehillym)
103. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] In your youth, "be an example to the believers
in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith and in purity." [1
Timothy 4. 12]

HONOR: "Assuredly —declares the LORD, the GOD OF ISRAEL— I will
honor those who honor ME, but those who spurn ME shall be dishonored."
[1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 30 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Those who love ME I
love, and those who seek ME diligently will find ME. Riches and honor
are with ME, enduring riches and righteousness. " [Proverbs (Mishle) 8.
17 – 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The LORD YESHUA declared, "If anyone
serves ME, let him follow ME; and where I am, there MY servant will be
also. If anyone serves ME, him MY FATHER will honor." [John 12. 26]

PROTECTION: "The LORD executes righteous acts and judgments for all who
are wronged." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Do not judge
according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment." [John 7.
24] "Because he is devoted to ME I will deliver him; I will keep him
safe and set him on high for he knows MY NAME. When he calls on ME, I
will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him and
make him honored; I will let him live to a ripe old age, and show him MY
SALVATION." [Psalms/Tehillym 91. 14 - 16]

SALVATION: IS THE GREATEST GIFT, by the mercy and tremendously great
love of ALMIGHTY GOD. "The LORD is compassionate, gracious and
merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 103. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "For as the heavens are high above
the earth, so great is HIS steadfast love and mercy toward those who
fear HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "But the LORD'S
steadfast love and mercy is for all eternity toward those who fear HIM,
and HIS beneficence is for the children' s children of those who KEEP
(perform, harmonize) HIS Covenant and REMEMBER (treasure, learn) to
OBSERVE (discern, follow, obey, pursue) HIS precepts." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 103. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Infinite as the universe, enduring as eternity, these are the dimensions
of the MOST HIGH GOD'S mercy "as east is far from west, so far has HE
removed our sins and transgressions from us." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 12
Tanakh, Kethuvim] No wonder this great Psalm begins and ends with the
magnificent inspiring exhortation: "Bless the LORD, O my soul!" Bless
the LORD, all HIS works, throughout HIS Kingdom; bless the LORD, O my
soul!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Blessed, praised and glorified, exalted, extolled and honored, magnified
and lauded be the NAME of the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE; though HE be high
above all the blessings and hymns, praises and consolations, which are
uttered in the world. For YOUR sake, we are killed all day long, yet in
YOU, O GOD, we boast all day long and praise YOUR NAME forever. Selah

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 4 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Wed 12 Jun 2013, 10:55 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Rabbi Akiba said— Everything is foreseen, yet freedom is given; the
world is judged by grace, yet all is according to the amount of good
works." [TALMUD, Aboth 3. 19] However, SCRIPTURE says— "For by
grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it
is the Gift of GOD, not of works, lest anyone should boast." [Ephesians
2. 8 - 9]

PRESENT WORLD ENDS
"Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from
his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle,
whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of
the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city.
And fire came down from GOD out of heaven and devoured them. The devil,
who deceived them, was cast into the Lake of Fire & Brimstone where the
beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and
night forever and ever." [Revelation 20. 7 – 10]

All Satanic rebellion is completely crushed. And, the old heaven and
old earth, the testing grounds, will pass away. "Heaven and earth will
pass away, but MY WORDS will by no means pass away." [Luke 21. 33]
"YOU, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the
heavens are the work of YOUR hands. They will perish, but YOU remain;
and they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak YOU will fold
them up, and they will be changed. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years
will not fail." [Hebrews 1. 10 - 12] "The world is passing away, and
the lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John
2. 17]

This will occur at the time of the Great White Throne Judgment: "Then I
saw a Great White Throne and HIM WHO sat on it, from WHOSE face the
earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for
them...Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and
the first earth had passed away; also there was no more sea."
[Revelation 20. 11; 21. 1]

The elements will be dissolved by fire: "All the host of heaven shall
be dissolved, the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 34. 4a Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The heavens and the earth which are
now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of
judgment and perdition of ungodly men — The Day of the LORD will
come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a
great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the
earth and the works that are in it will be burned up with fervent heat."
[2 Peter 3. 7, 10]

The Great White Throne Judgment will be accurate and just, based on the
words, actions, attitude, stewardship, thoughts and motives of each
individual. "For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed,
nor hidden that will not be known." [Luke 12. 2] "I saw the dead, small
and great, standing before GOD, and books were opened. And another book
was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged
according to their works, by the things which were written in the Books.
The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered
up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according
to his works." [Revelation 20. 12 – 13]

The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA taught us to fear GOD: "And I say to you, MY
friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that
have no more that they can do. But I will show you whom you should fear:
Fear HIM WHO, after HE has killed, has power to cast into Hell; Yes, I
say to you, fear HIM!" [Luke 12. 4 – 5] For after the 1,000 Year
Kingdom , death and hell (a temporary confinement) will be cast into the
Lake of Fire , which is the eternal abode of all wicked. "Then Death and
Hades were cast into the Lake of Fire . This is the second death. And
anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of
Fire — The cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually
immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in
the Lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second
death." [Revelation 20. 11 - 15; 21. 8] "Their worm does not die
and the fire is not quenched." [Mark 9. 44, 46, 48]

Therefore beloved, looking forward to the things which are about to take
place, be diligent to be found by the RIGHTEOUS & HOLY LORD GOD in
peace, without spot and blameless.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
The LORD bless and keep you throughout the coming days as you faithfully
walk with HIM! May the LIVING ETERNAL GOD, blessed be HE, hold you
close, may HE hold you ever so close in the palm of HIS mighty hand and
watch over you. Walk joyously in the light and warmth of ALMIGHTY GOD'S
love. And may the HOLY ONE, the HOPE OF ISRAEL, fill you with peace and
happiness. May the GOD OF GRACE perfect, establish, strengthen and
settle you is our prayer.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 4 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin on Tue 11 Jun 2013, 10:05 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Wisdom gives life to those who obtain it.

WICKED NATIONS FORGET
"Let the wicked be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget
GOD! Arise, O LORD, let not men prevail; let the nations be judged in
YOUR presence. Strike fear in them, O LORD; that the nations may know
themselves to be only men. Selah" [Psalms (Tehillym) 9. 17, 19 - 20
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Widely ignored today is the subject of hell, even among pastors,
teachers and evangelists. Although rarely acknowledged, the place of
eternal torment is often spoken of in HOLY SCRIPTURE. Numerous warnings
are given because hell is real and it is going to be more fully
populated than heaven. Heed the counsel of LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, "Enter
by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads
to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is
the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few
who find it." [Matthew 7. 13 - 14]

GOD'S WORD clearly shows that "No one does good. The LORD looks down
from heaven upon the children of men to find a man of understand, a man
mindful of GOD. All have turned aside, they have together become
corrupt, altogether foul; there is none who does good, No, not even
one." [Psalms (Tehillym) 14. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim; Romans 3. 10 - 18]
Furthermore "the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one." [1
John 5. 19] Since all are wicked (Hebrew: rasha – bad person,
morally wrong, defiant, rebellious, condemned, guilty), we realize that
ones who are cast into hell are those who remain so, who "forget GOD"
and refuse to seek HIM.

Nations all over the world have turned their backs on the RIGHTEOUS &
JUST CREATOR, wickedness is legislated while righteousness, holiness,
and integrity are totally eliminated from the laws of man. Just as the
LORD GOD foretold — they would call evil good, and good evil, even
changing the laws. The wicked leaders speak pompous words against the
MOST HIGH, persecute the saints of the MOST HIGH, and intend to change
times and law. [see Daniel/Danyel 7. 25] What treasures we have
forfeited by disobedience.

However, for the saints in full sincerity of heart and mind, those who
seek the LORD GOD with all their might — "for the wise man of
intelligence, the path of life winds upward that he may turn away from
hell below." [Proverbs (Mishle) 15. 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Because GOD
sent HIS CHERISHED, ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON to die for the ungodly while we
were still wicked sinners. [Romans 5. 6] Blessed are those who serve
the LORD in fear and put their trust in HIM.

Oh that every man would return to genuine love of GOD and faithfully
trust HIM and HIS REVEALED WORD OF TRUTH, that we would be a holy people
in every nation, HE would make us a praise and a name in honour. In
MESSIAH, YESHUA OF NAZARETH, I rejoice in HIS lovingkindness.
Yes—and I will continue to rejoice in the LORD my GOD!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
O come...let us adore HIM! Praised are YOU, O LORD, the HOLY ETERNAL
GOD. We render thanks to YOU that YOU sanctified us through YOUR WORD
through which we gain freedom of the soul which comes through obedience
to YOUR commandments.
May ALMIGHTY GOD'S love and peace shine out of each of us...as we
bow in adoration before the KING OF GLORY...bright enough for all to
see, clear enough for all to follow.

Post  Admin on Mon 10 Jun 2013, 11:37 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The best sermons are lived, not preached.

CHOOSE WISELY
"But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will
not be taken away from her." [Luke 10. 42]

Both Miryam (Mary) and Martha, the sisters of Lazarus, loved the LORD
YESHUA and wanted to please HIM. YESHUA also loved them, and was a
frequent guest at their home in Bethany. Martha was distracted by all
the preparations that had to be made, busying herself in activity and
service to be pleasing to the LORD. Mary, on the other hand, was
content to sit "at Jesus' feet and heard HIS WORD." [Luke 10. 39] So,
Martha approached HIM and said, "LORD, do YOU not care that my sister
has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me. And
JESUS answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and
troubled about many things, but one thing is needed and Mary has chosen
that good part, which will not be taken away from her." [Luke 10. 40 -
41] Clearly, Mary has chosen what was better. And, would it not be
just like our WONDERFUL MASTER to have gotten up and helped both women
with the meal preparation, after teaching them!

Hundreds of years prior to this setting, the patriarch Job, whom
ALMIGHTY GOD had said was "a blameless and upright man who fears GOD and
shuns evil…there is no one like him on earth" [Job/Iyob 1. 8], Job
had also chosen that good part. "I have not departed from what HIS lips
commanded; I have treasured HIS WORDS more than my daily bread." [Job
(Iyob) 23. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The only way we can sit at JESUS' feet and hear HIS WORD today is by
reading and meditating on the LIFE-GIVING INSTRUCTIONS. We should make
priority time available for this "good part" along with our other daily
obligations and responsibilities. Hearing and obeying HIS PRECIOUS
COMMAND is vital for our very existence, for "faith comes by hearing,
and hearing by the WORD OF GOD." [Romans 10. 17]

Miryam (Mary) had a heart like David: "One thing I ask of YEHOWAH, only
that do I seek…to live in the HOUSE OF THE LORD all the days of my
life, to gaze upon the beauty (delightfulness) of YEHOWAH, to frequent
HIS Temple." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The psalmist
wrote of this truth he had learned: "Oh, how I love YOUR TEACHING! It is
my study all day long...How sweet is YOUR WORD to my taste, sweeter than
honey to my mouth! Through YOUR precepts I get understanding. " [Psalms
(Tehillym) 119. 97, 103 - 104 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

We have an even greater, sweeter privilege than Job, or the psalmist, or
Mary because we have all the HOLY Scriptures. So, if you truly desire
"the best part" the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH will provide the
understanding through HIS refreshing precepts. And, "How much better
to acquire wisdom than gold; to acquire understanding is preferable to
silver." [Proverbs (Mishle) 16. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Listen, learn, and
receive the greatest riches on earth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
HE WHO keeps Israel neither slumbers or sleeps! Who is like YOU, O LORD
GOD? Who is like YOU, glorious in holiness, revered in worship, wondrous
in works? There is none! Infinite is YOUR power, so is YOUR love. The
LORD'S promise to HIS Jewish people: "As you behold, you will glow;
your heart will throb and thrill for the abundance of the sea
shall be turned to you and the riches of nations shall flow to you.
Whereas you have been forsaken, rejected and hated, with none passing
through, I will make you a pride everlasting, a joy for age after age."
[Isaiah/Yeshayah 60. 5, 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Post  Admin on Sun 09 Jun 2013, 10:58 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
CHRISTian opportunism is more than an attitude or virtue — it is a
whole pattern of living that has its roots in a passion for souls.

EXALT & ESTEEM
"For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you,
not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think
soberly, as GOD has dealt to each one a measure of faith." [Romans 12.
3]

Today there is so much importance placed on teaching self-esteem, but
this is the cause of many personal problems — the problem is that
individuals are so aggrandized with themselves, thinking more highly of
themselves and less on valuing others and serving the TRUE & LIVING GOD
OF HEAVEN. This, however, is not a BIBLICAL perspective, the WORD OF
LIFE commands that we should, "let nothing be done through selfish
ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others
better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own
interests, but also for the interests of others." [Philippians 2. 3 - 4]

The Apostle Paul could have been one of the greatest teachers and
leaders in the religion/political life of the Jewish people, yet he made
the declaration— "But what things were gain to me, these I have
counted loss for CHRIST. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the
excellence of the knowledge of CHRIST JESUS my LORD, for whom I have
suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may
gain CHRIST and be found in HIM, not having my own righteousness, which
is from the Law, but that which is through faith in CHRIST, the
righteousness which is from GOD by faith; that I may know HIM and the
power of HIS resurrection, and the fellowship of HIS sufferings, being
conformed to HIS death, if, by any means, I may attain to the
resurrection from the dead." [Philippians 3. 7 - 11]

Moses, though once a prince of Egypt, chose MESSIAH and the people of
GOD instead. "By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be
called the son of Pharaoh' s daughter, choosing rather to suffer
affliction with the people of GOD than to enjoy the passing pleasures of
sin, esteeming the reproach of CHRIST greater riches than the treasures
in Egypt; for he looked to the reward." [Hebrews 11. 24 - 26]

Correspondingly, the Apostle James assures us in his writings, "My
brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing
that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have
its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking
nothing." [James 1. 2 - 4] Definitely, trials are to test your faith,
that we may come forth as pure gold just as Job conveyed, "When HE has
tested me, I shall come forth as gold." [Job/Iyob 23. 10]

Therefore, if we would truly conform to the will of the LOVING MASTER
for our lives, we should be esteeming others more than cultivating
self-worth in ourselves, cherish the benefit of knowing and serving
YESHUA our REDEEMER more than all the riches and fame of this present
world; and count it a joyful privilege when we are enabled to grow more
like the MESSIAH through the trials and testings HE permits us to share.
. . exalt and esteem the LORD GOD!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat, may you have a good week — a week of
peace...may gladness reign and joy increase.
Praised are YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR
compassion boundless. Be gracious to us that we may understand and
fulfill the teachings of YOUR REVERED TRUTH. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR
Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Thank YOU for YOUR saving
power, for from YOU comes our help. Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU
in faithfulness. Joyfully, we lift our voices and proclaim YOUR HOLY &
PRECIOUS NAME.
May you experience a GOD-filled week — Go with GOD!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When the ALMIGHTY ONE punished the wicked, HIS NAME is made great and
holy. [Mechilta, Kiddush ha'Shem]
Yigdal sh'mo umalkhuto May HIS NAME and Kingdom grow.

STILL HE WALKED
HE could hear the multitude screaming
"Crucify! Crucify!"
HE could hear the hatred in their voices,
these were HIS Chosen People.

HE loved them and they were going to crucify HIM.
HE was beaten, bleeding and weakened
HIS heart was broken,
but still HE walked.

HE surveyed the crowd as HE came from the palace.
HE knew each of the faces so well, HE had created them.
HE knew every smile, their laughter, and each tear shed,
but now they were contorted with rage and anger
HIS heart was broken,
but still HE walked.

Was HE afraid?
You and I would have been so.
HIS humanness would have mandated that HE was.
Instead, HE knew what HE came to do!
HE knowingly did all for humanity.
HIS disciples had left, denied, and even betrayed HIM.
HE searched the crowd for a loving face, but saw few.
Then HE turned HIS eyes to the ONLY ONE that mattered
and HE was assured that this was HIS FATHER'S will.
HE looked back at the crowd,
at the people who were spitting on HIM,
throwing rocks and mocking HIM,
and HE knew it was for them that HE came.
So for them, HE walked.

Deafening sounds of the hammer striking the spikes
echoed triumphantly through the crowd.
However, HIS cries were even more prominent
then the cheers of the crowd.
HIS hands and feet were nailed to the rugged cross
as pain intensified with each blow.
Loudest of all was the still small voice inside HIS heart
that whispered, "I am with YOU, MY SON!"
and GOD'S heart broke
HE had let HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON walk.

YESHUA, the MESSIAH could have asked GOD to end HIS suffering,
but instead, HE asked GOD to "Forgive! "
Not to forgive HIM,
but to forgive the ones who were persecuting HIM.
As HE hung on that cross dying an unimaginable death,
HE looked out and saw, not only the faces in the mob,
but HE could see the face of every person HE was dying for,
and HIS heart filled with love.

Although HIS body was dying,
HIS heart was alive
ALIVE with immeasurable,
unconditional love HE has for each of us.
That is why HE walked.

When I forget how much my GOD loves me,
I remember HIS walk.
When I wonder if I can, without doubt, truly be forgiven,
I remember HIS walk.
When I need reminded of how to live like MESSIAH YESHUA did,
I think of HIS walk.
So, to express how much I love HIM,
when I wake each morning, I turn my eyes to HIM,
and I walk.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Our beloved friends our prayer is that GOD ETERNAL will hear our prayer
and give us a renewed spiritual awakening, increase our love and
brotherhood among us by HIS PRECIOUS SON'S atoning blood. We wish to
express our love to each of you. . . giving thanks to the HOLY ONE WHO
gives good things to HIS children.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When you are driven to your knees, you can have overwhelming confidence
that there is no better place to go.

CHERUBIYM OF GOLD
"[You shall make a Mercy-Seat of pure gold] ...Make two cherubiym of
gold - make them of hammered work at the two ends of the
Mercy-Seat. Make one cherub at one end and the other cherub at the other
end; of one piece with the Mercy-Seat shall you make the cherubiym at
its two ends. The cherubiym shall have their wings spread out above,
shielding the cover with their wings. They shall confront each other,
the faces of the cherubim being turned toward the Mercy-Seat." [Exodus
(Shemot) 25. 18 - 19 Tanakh, Torah]

The two cherubiym were to be as one with the Mercy-Seat. They typify
the glorified believers who are one with the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH.
These symbols of redeemed humanity are now reality as seen by the
innumerable company of Adam's race, from whom the curse has been removed
[Revelation 22. 3], and who take their places about the Throne of GOD
and of the LAMB, act as HIS servants there, behold HIS face and have HIS
NAME on their foreheads. [Revelation 22. 4]

Two is the number suggesting union and agreement. The redeemed are in
union with MESSIAH. The cherubim are the most exalted beings of the
heavenly hosts, occupying the nearest position to the Throne of GOD.
What an honour! We have been brought to the very Throne of GOD and
given a seat with HIM. We have been made of one piece with the
Mercy-Seat, heirs of GOD and joint-heirs with JESUS, partakers of the
DIVINE nature, sons of GOD MOST HIGH! We rest in the finished work of
Calvary and are "seated with CHRIST in the heavenlies!"

The "hammered work" prophesies of the sufferings of MESSIAH WHO was
"beaten" to become our ATONEMENT for sin, our MERCY-SEAT. We are one
with HIM; if we suffer with HIM, we shall also reign with HIM. [2
Timothy 2. 12]

Though it was a Mercy-Seat, no one could sit on it. Sitting would imply
that the priest's work was finished and this was impossible. The priest
was continually standing, offering sacrifices. There is only one HIGH
PRIEST WHO sat down because HIS ministry was finished: "Every priest
stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices,
which can never take away sins. But this MAN (PRIEST would be more
accurate here), after HE had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat
down at the right hand of GOD." [Hebrews 10. 11 - 12] Once before the
LORD YESHUA "sat down" after HE had read the prophecy concerning HIMSELF
and HIS work [Luke 4. 20] implying that HE would finish or fulfill the
OLD COVENANT. ["It is finished!" John 19. 30 w/Hebrews 1. 3]

The cherubiym were not to look upon one another, nor look under the
cover at the law man failed to keep, nor eastward toward the people who
were sinners. ALMIGHTY GOD commanded that their faces should be toward
the Mercy-Seat. . . for upon this Sacred Cover was the blood of the
sacrifice which was priceless. The reason for this "kapporeth
(covering)" was the blood of atonement that it held. Here was the means
of atonement for Israel. Here forgiveness and pardon was offered up
for them. It was by this means that a way of access to the LOVING
CREATOR was made on their behalf. It was the "precious blood" in which
the cherubiym were interested as their faces looked toward the
Mercy-Seat. "You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like
silver or gold...but with the precious blood of CHRIST, the SPOTLESS
LAMB." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

Ceaselessly throughout eternity we will behold the Blood of Atonement
remembering it was the work of the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA on the rugged
cross which gives us the high privilege and honour to be one with HIM in
glory!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Welcoming Shabbat Mevarchim, the Sabbath of blessing the new month.
Come, let us go out to meet the Sabbath Queen, come, O Bride the
Sabbath presence is eagerly awaited, and joyously welcomed! We praise
and bless YOU, our GREAT GOD, for lovingly and graciously giving YOUR
Holy Shabbat to all peoples. YOU, O LORD, shall reign, YOU alone over
all YOUR works on Mount Zion, the dwelling place of YOUR glory, and in
Jerusalem, YOUR Holy City as it is written in YOUR HOLY WORD
The LORD shall reign for ever, YOUR GOD, O Zion, unto all
generations. HalleluYAH!
May you receive blessings in abundance as you rest and fellowship with
the LORD GOD. Enjoy tranquility and harmony as you come together this
Sabbath!

Post  Admin on Fri 07 Jun 2013, 9:56 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The believer' s Coronation Day takes place at death when he is raised
to a higher realm of glory.

THE CHOSEN
"But we are bound to give thanks to GOD always for you, brethren beloved
by the LORD, because GOD from the beginning chose you for salvation
through sanctification by the SPIRIT and belief in the truth, to which
HE called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our LORD
JESUS CHRIST." [2 Thessalonians 2. 13 - 14]

The ALMIGHTY ONE blessed be HE, has established an order for HIS
great plan of salvation. GOD OMNIPOTENT had chosen these Thessalonian
believers to salvation even before they were born, for it was from the
beginning. Then HE called them and they heard the GOSPEL, believed the
truth, and were sanctified (set apart) by the Precious HOLY SPIRIT OF
GOD, eventually destined to be glorified in Messiah Yeshua.

To accomplish this, the HOLY SPIRIT used human messengers. In a vision,
the GENTLE MASTER directed Paul to go to Macedonia to preach the GOSPEL
[Acts 16. 9] where he eventually reached Thessalonica and taught the
Truth to those he found in the Synagogue. However, of the many who were
"called" as Paul preached and taught, only "some of them were persuaded"
and believed and obey. [Acts 17. 4] However, most of Paul's listeners
had not been "chosen" so they resisted the "call" and refused to
believe. As the LORD YESHUA said "Many are called, but few chosen,
so the last will be first, and the first last." [Matthew 20. 16]

Such a truth may be difficult to understand with our finite minds, but
like Paul "we are bound to give thanks to GOD always" that we who
believe today, like the Thessalonian believers, have been both "chosen
in HIM before the foundations of the world" [Ephesians 1. 4], and
"called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light." [1 Peter 2. 9]

As true priests of the LIVING GOD, we have been chosen, called,
committed (to the ministry), cleansed, clothed (with holy garments),
consecrated, christened (anointed), conformed and commissioned (assigned
duties). As we, the Royal Priests in the NEW COVENANT, march through
earth's wilderness, let us truly be called out from the world, cleansed,
clothed, consecrated and commissioned with the ANOINTING OIL upon each
of us. Each one performing the assigned task as the MOST HIGH GOD has
given it to them; each bearing the TRUE TESTIMONY of the "precious
things" witnessing in thought, word and deed that we are Tabernacles of
the LOVING MASTER showing forth HIS POWER, PRESENCE, and MIRACULOUS
LIFE!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
We gratefully acknowledge, O LORD our GREAT GOD, that YOU are our
CREATOR and PRESERVER, THE ROCK of our life, our SALVATION, and THE
SHIELD of our help. We give thanks to YOU for our lives which are in
YOUR nail-pierced hands, for our souls which are ever in YOUR keeping,
for YOUR wondrous providence and YOUR never-failing goodness, which YOU
impart to us day by day. Truly, YOUR mercies never fail and YOUR
loving-kindness never ceases. Therefore, we forever put our trust in
YOU. Blessed are YOU, O LORD our GOD.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A miracle cannot prove what is impossible, it is only to confirm what is
possible. [ -Maimonides]

SOLOMON' S PRAYER – GOD'S ANSWER
Solomon' s focus was on his posture (on his knees with his hands spread);
his position (facing the Temple); and the structure he made. Discern
his prayer at the Temple's Dedication:
"Then Solomon, standing before the Altar of the LORD in the presence
of all the whole congregation of Israel, spreading forth his hands.
Solomon had made a copper platform and set it in the midst of the Great
Court; it was five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high.
He stood on it; then kneeling down on his knees before the whole
assembly of Israel, he spread forth his hands toward heaven and said: "O
LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, there is no god like YOU in the heavens or on earth,
YOU keep YOUR Covenant and mercy with YOUR servants who walk before YOU
with all their hearts; YOU have kept the promises YOU made to YOUR
servant, my father David; YOU have both spoken with YOUR mouth and
fulfilled it with YOUR hand, as it is this day. And now, O LORD GOD OF
ISRAEL, keep that promise YOU made YOUR servant, my father David
saying— You shall not fail to have a man sit before ME on the throne
of Israel if only your children take heed to their way, that they walk
in MY Law as you have walked before ME. —Now, LORD GOD OF ISRAEL,
let YOUR WORD that YOU made to YOUR servant, my father David, be
confirmed."
"Does GOD indeed dwell with men on the earth? Even heaven and the
heaven of heavens cannot contain YOU; how much less this Temple which I
have built! Yet regard the prayer and supplication of YOUR servant, O
LORD my GOD, and listen to the cry and the prayer which YOUR servant
offers to YOU. May YOUR eyes be open toward this temple day and night,
toward the place where YOU said YOU would put YOUR NAME, that YOU may
hear the prayer which YOUR servant offers toward this place. And may YOU
hear the supplications of YOUR servant and of YOUR people Israel, when
they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven YOUR Dwelling Abode, and
when YOU hear, forgive."
"If anyone sins against his neighbor, and an oath is exacted from him,
and comes and takes an oath before YOUR altar in this Temple, then hear
from heaven, and act, and judge YOUR servants, bringing retribution on
the wicked by bringing his way on his own head, and justifying the
righteous by giving him according to his righteousness. "
"Should YOUR people Israel be defeated before an enemy because they
have sinned against YOU, and return and confess YOUR NAME, and offer
prayer and make supplication before YOU in this Temple, then hear from
heaven and forgive the sin of YOUR people Israel, and restore them back
to the land which YOU gave to them and their fathers."
"When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because they have
sinned against YOU, when they pray toward this place and confess YOUR
NAME, and turn from their sin because YOU humbled them, then hear in
heaven, and forgive the sin of YOUR servants, YOUR people Israel, that
YOU may teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain
on YOUR land which YOU have given to YOUR people as their heritage. "So
too, if there is a famine in the land, pestilence, blight, mildew,
locusts or grasshoppers; when their enemies oppress them in any of their
settlements of their land."
"In any plague or whatever sickness there is; whatever prayer or
supplication is made by anyone, or by all YOUR people Israel — each
one knows his own burden and his own grief — when he spreads out his
hands to this House: may YOU hear from heaven YOUR dwelling place, and
forgive. Give to everyone according to all his ways, whose heart YOU
know — for YOU alone know the hearts of the sons of men — that
they may fear YOU, to walk in YOUR ways as long as they live in the land
which YOU gave to our fathers."
"Moreover, if a foreigner who is not of YOUR people Israel, who comes
from a far country for the sake of YOUR GREAT NAME, YOUR MIGHTY HAND,
and YOUR OUTSTRETCHED ARM, when they come and pray toward this House;
then hear from Heaven YOUR Dwelling Place, and grant whatever the
foreigner appeals to YOU for. Thus all the peoples of the earth may know
YOUR NAME and revere YOU as do YOUR people Israel; and that they may
know that YOUR NAME is attached to this Temple that I have built."
"When YOUR people go out to battle against their enemies, wherever YOU
send them, and when they pray to YOU toward this City which YOU have
chosen and the House which I have built to YOUR NAME, then hear from
heaven their prayer and their supplication, and uphold their cause."
"When they sin against YOU — for there is no one who does not sin
— and YOU become angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, and
they take them captive to an enemy land, far or near; yet when they come
to themselves in the land where they were carried captive, and repent,
and make supplication to YOU in the land of their captivity, saying
—We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have committed wickedness
— and when they return to YOU with all their heart and with all
their soul in the land of their captivity, where they have been carried
captive, and pray toward their land which YOU gave to their fathers, the
city which YOU have chosen, and toward the Temple which I have built for
YOUR NAME — may YOU hear their prayer and their supplications in
YOUR Heavenly Dwelling, and maintain their cause, and forgive YOUR
people who have sinned against YOU."
"Now my GOD, may YOUR eyes be open and let YOUR ears be attentive to
the prayer from this place, and now, arise, O LORD GOD, to YOUR resting
place, YOU and YOUR Mighty Ark of strength. Let YOUR priests, O LORD
GOD, be clothed with salvation, YOUR saints rejoice in YOUR goodness. O
LORD GOD, do not turn away the face of YOUR ANOINTED; remember the
loyalty of YOUR servant David." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 6. 12
- 42 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

GOD'S Answer:
"The LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him: "I have heard
your prayer, and have chosen this place for MYSELF as a House of
Sacrifice. When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the
locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence against MY people, if MY
people who are called by MY NAME will HUMBLE THEMSELVES, PRAY and SEEK
MY FACE, and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then I will hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now MY eyes will be open
and MY ears attentive to prayer made in this place. For now I have
chosen and sanctified this House that MY NAME may be there forever; and
MY eyes and MY heart will be there forever. "
"As for you, if you walk before ME as your father David walked before
ME, and do according to all that I have commanded you, and if you keep
MY statutes and MY judgments, then I will establish the throne of your
kingdom, as I covenanted with David your father, saying— You shall
never fail to have a man as ruler in Israel.
"But if you turn away from ME and forsake MY Laws and MY commandments
which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship
them, then I will uproot them (Israel) from MY land which I have given
them; and this House which I have sanctified for MY NAME I will cast out
of MY sight, and will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.
"And as for this House, once so exalted, everyone who passes by it will
be astonished and say —Why has the LORD done thus to this land and
this House? — Then they will answer — It is because they forsook
the LORD GOD of their fathers WHO brought them up out of the land of
Egypt, and embraced other gods and worshiped them and served them;
therefore HE has brought all this calamity on them." [2 Chronicles
(Dibre Hayamin Bet) 7. 12 - 22 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Solomon fell into sin and the kingdom was taken from his son. [1 Kings
(Dibre Hayamin Alef) 11. 1-13 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The GLORIOUS ONE cast
the House that Solomon had made out of HIS sight just as HE said HE
would. [2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet 36.17–19; Ezra 5.12; 2
Kings/Melakhim Bet 25.8-10] Years later, for the same reason, GOD
scattered HIS people, Israel, throughout all the lands of the earth.
Then in 70 AD, GOD again cast the elaborate Temple Herod made out of HIS
sight. No Temple has been on the site for nearly 2,000 years.

The Tabernacle was only sanctified when the glory of YEHOWAH was
present. [Exodus/Shemot 29. 43; Ezekiel/Yehezke- El 43. 5; Haggai/Chagai
2. 7, 9] Without the LORD'S PRESENCE, it was just an exquisite
structure. GOD, the RIGHTEOUS & HOLY ONE does not care about position,
posture, the direction people face, or even the edifice they are
standing in when praying. GOD'S focus is on the heart of the king and
of the people and their willingness to obey HIS commands. Only GODly
repentance in sincerity and truth leads to salvation and to life through
faith in the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all
Israel, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is wrong to define education as "preparation for life" — learning
is life, a supreme experience of living, a climax of existence. [Abraham
Joshua Heschel]

RESTORATION OF ISRAEL & THE GENTILES
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the LORD, and
that HE may send MESSIAH YESHUA, WHO was preached to you before, whom
heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which
GOD has spoken by the mouth of all HIS holy prophets since the world
began." [Acts 3. 19 - 21]

The LORD declared and will make good HIS promise to restore and cause
the whole House of Israel and Judah to dwell in safety. "Therefore MY
people shall know MY NAME; therefore they shall learn on that day, that
I the ONE WHO promised, am now at hand — Behold, it is I. — How
beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who
proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims
salvation, who says to Zion — Your GOD reigns! — Break forth
into joy, sing together, you ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD will
comforted HIS people, HE will redeem Jerusalem. The LORD will bare HIS
holy arm in the sight of all the nations, and all the ends of the earth
shall see the victory of our GOD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 52. 6 – 7, 9
– 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Not only people, but the land and the Temple will be constructed and
establish: "Thus said the LORD OF HOSTS — There shall yet be old
men and old women in the squares of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand
because of their great age. The squares of the City shall be crowded
with boys and girls Playing in its streets. Behold, I will save MY
people from the land of the east and from the land of the west, I will
bring them back, and they shall dwell in Jerusalem. They shall be MY
people and I will be their GOD — in truth and righteousness. Take
courage, you who now hear these words by the mouth of the prophets who
spoke in the day the foundation was laid for the House of the LORD OF
HOSTS, that the Temple might be built." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 8. 4
– 5, 7 – 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Truly, the LORD shall comforted Zion, HE will comfort all her waste
places (her ruins); and HE will make her wilderness like Eden, her
desert like the Garden of YEHOWAH. Joy and gladness, thanksgiving and
the voice of melody will be found in Zion." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 51. 3
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"In the days to come, the Mount of the LORD'S HOUSE shall stand firm on
the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all
nations shall flow unto it. Many people shall go and say — Come, and
let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the House of the GOD OF
JACOB; HE will instruct us in HIS ways, and we shall walk in HIS paths.
For out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the WORD OF THE LORD from
Jerusalem." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 2. 2 – 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Men shall
worship YEHOWAH, every one from his own land, even all the isles of the
nations (Hebrew: ha'Goyim — the Gentiles)." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah)
2. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For I am a great KING— says the LORD OF HOSTS —and MY NAME is
to be feared among the nations...From the rising of the sun, even to its
going down, MY NAME is honoured among the nations (Jews & Gentiles); and
everywhere incense is burnt and pure sacrifices are offered to MY NAME;
for MY NAME shall be great among the nations (Jews & Gentiles)— says
the LORD OF HOSTS." [Malachi (Malakhi) 1. 14, 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy
to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For all
creation eagerly waits in earnest expectation for the revealing of the
sons of GOD. For creation itself will also be delivered from the bondage
of corruption (death, decay) into the glorious liberty of the children
of GOD. For we know that the whole creation groans in labors of birth
pangs until now. Not only that, but we ourselves groan within ourselves,
waiting eagerly for the adoption, the redemption of our body." [Romans
8. 18 - 24]

How absolutely amazing, glorious and magnificent that time will be when
these things shall be conspicuously evident and clearly visible.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbas, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE
dwells within us, bless you abundantly.
May it be YOUR will O GOD that our homes become a sanctuary worthy of
YOUR HOLY PRESENCE wherein YOUR NAME shall be hallowed, that YOU may
come and grant YOUR blessings and YOUR DIVINE grace each and every day.
We give ourselves over into YOUR keeping, our hearts contrite, and our
prayers made with a repentant heart.
May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout the week.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A government that is big enough to give you everything you want is also
big enough to take away everything you have!

MESSIAH & THE CITIES OF REFUGE
"You shall appoint cities to be cities of refuge for you…And of the
cities which you give, you shall have six cities of refuge. You shall
appoint three cities on this side of the Jordan, and three cities you
shall appoint in the land of Canaan, which will be cities of refuge.
These six cities shall be for refuge for the children of Israel, for the
stranger, and for the sojourner among them." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 35.
11, 13- 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

When the Israelites entered the Promised Land, the LORD GOD told Joshua
to provide six cities of refuge into which those who had slain someone
could flee for refuge until a trial could ascertain the facts and render
a proper verdict. How very much these cities are picture-types of
MESSIAH the ONE in WHOM "we might have strong consolation, who have fled
for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us." [Hebrews 6. 18] "In
GOD is my salvation and my GLORY; the ROCK of my strength, and my
REFUGE." [Psalms (Tehillym) 62. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The names of the six cities are Kedesh, Shechem, Hebron, Bezer, Ramoth
and Golan. [see Joshua /Yehoshua 20. 7- 8] The meanings of the names of
the cities seem to have been planned especially to foreshadow this
spiritual application.

Kedesh — translates to Holy Place. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA is the
ULTIMATE REFUGE, the HOLY PLACE, in the New Jerusalem, for the LAMB is
the Temple of it. "I saw no Temple in it, for the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY and
the LAMB are its Temple." [Revelation 21. 22] "No longer shall you
need the sun for light by day, nor the shining of the moon for radiance
by night; but the LORD will be your EVERLASTING LIGHT, your GOD shall be
your GLORY." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 60. 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Shechem — signifies strong shoulder (back) or comfort. YESHUA is
our STRONG SHOULDER and our COMFORT when we flee to HIM for refuge, the
"arm of the LORD" through WHOM the mighty hand and outstretched arm of
ALMIGHTY GOD has been revealed. Comfort for the heart and lasting peace
come from MESSIAH YESHUA, the PRINCE OF PEACE, "the peace of GOD, which
surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds"
[Philippians 4. 7] JESUS promises the gift of HIS peace— "Peace I
leave with you, MY peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give
to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." [John
14. 27] Yes, the GLORIOUS ONE guides our feet into the way of peace.

Kirjath Arba/Hebron — is translated association, fellowship. We who
are born anew in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH have been called unto the fellowship
of loving service to the ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD MOST HIGH. "GOD is
faithful, by WHOM you were called into the fellowship of HIS SON, JESUS
CHRIST our LORD." [1 Corinthians 1. 9] Because HE has chosen you, we
can "know HIM and the power of HIS resurrection, and the fellowship of
HIS sufferings, being conformed to HIS death...truly our fellowship is
with the FATHER and with HIS SON JESUS CHRIST." [Philippians 3. 10 w/1
John 1.3]

Ramoth in Gilead — is interpreted heights, high place, or rocky
region. When we are hidden in our LORD YESHUA, ALMIGHTY GOD makes us to
sit in the heavenlies "and raised us up together, and made us sit
together in the heavenly places in CHRIST JESUS…And HE (FATHER GOD)
put all things under HIS feet, and gave HIM to be head over all things
to the church, which is HIS body, the fullness of HIM WHO fills all in
all." [Ephesians 2. 6 w/Ephesians 1. 22 - 23]

Golan in Bashan — their captivity, enclosure, their rejoicing,
fruitful. This speaks of our being set free from sin and death to
become totally enthralled in LORD YESHUA instead. "YOU have ascended on
high, YOU have led captivity captive; YOU have received gifts among
men." [Psalms (Tehillym) 68. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Your dead shall
live; together with my dead body they shall arise. Awake and shout for
joy, you who dwell in dust! — For YOUR dew is like the dew of herbs,
and the earth shall cast out the dead." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 26. 19
Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The LORD deals death and gives life; HE casts down
to Sheol and rises up." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 6 Tanakh,
Nevi'im] What magnificent songs of rejoicing.

Like the cities of refuge, it is only when we enter the HEAVENLY SHELTER
do we find forgiveness, righteousness, justice, peace, and eternal life.
May we know HIM and come boldly in confidence through faith in the LORD
YESHUA, our SAFE HAVEN.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
All praise to YEHOWAH, He was, is, and will be — the AUTHOR of all
being — the SOURCE of everything past, present, and future, THE
PROTECTOR,

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Let another praise you and not your own mouth.

SHINING FACES
"So Moses came down from Mount Sinai. And as Moses came down from the
mountain bearing the two tablets of the Testimony, Moses was not aware
that the skin of his face was radiant, since he had spoken with HIM
(ELOHEY)." [Exodus (Shemot) 34. 29 Tanakh, Torah]

For forty days and nights, Moses had been alone with CREATOR GOD in
simple communion and getting the tablets with the Ten Commandments.
When he descended from Mount Sinai, the glory of GOD was so radiant from
his countenance, that people could not bear to look at Moses face, so he
covered his face with a veil so he could speak with the Israelite
people.

A similar experience occurred at the official tribunal of Stephen when
the council of Jewish leaders questioned him in regards to his CHRISTian
testimony, "And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him,
saw his face as the face of an angel." [Acts 6. 15]

As we spend time with our wonderful LOVING GOD, we too should obtain a
different expression and sweet aromas should bear witness that we have
been with the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA. This is one of HIS promises, that
when we spend time in GOD'S WORD which is alive with the LIGHT OF HIS
GLORY. "But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the
glory of the LORD, are being transformed into the same image from glory
to glory, just as by the SPIRIT OF THE LORD." [2 Corinthians 3. 18]

The GRACIOUS REDEEMER will "cause HIS face to shine upon us." HE will
"be merciful and gracious to us; and bless us by showing us favor"
[Psalms/Tehillym 67. 1] by enabling us to "become blameless and
harmless, children of GOD without fault in the midst of a crooked and
perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world,
holding fast the WORD OF LIFE." [Philippians 2. 15 - 16]

As you continue in the LIFE-GIVING WORD, the LORD will "make HIS face
shine upon you, and deal kindly and graciously with you." [Numbers
(B'Midvar) 6. 25 Tanakh, Torah] HE is most precious and all-together
lovely. . .such a WONDERFUL SAVIOR, REDEEMER, LORD & KING!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
We meditate on YOUR Teachings at all times rejoice in them, for in them
are true life and length of days. O that YOUR love may never depart from
our hearts. Praised are YOU, O LORD, WHO made us YOUR people.
May ALMIGHTY GOD'S love and peace shine out of each of us...as we
bow in adoration before the KING OF GLORY...
...bright enough for all to see
...clear enough for all to follow.

Post  Admin on Sun 02 Jun 2013, 4:08 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Only those who repent of their sin will be forgiven.

THE FIELD, THE WORLD
"And it became known to all those dwelling in Jerusalem as that field is
called in their own language, Akel-dama, meaning Field of Blood." [Acts
1. 19]

This field was fittingly called "akel-dama&quo t; so named as it was purchased
with blood money. Judas Iscariot, the betrayer of MESSIAH, purchased it
(through the chief priests, following Judas' suicide) as they
stated— "It is not lawful to put them (the silver pieces) into the
treasury, because they are the price of blood." [Matthew 27. 6]
However, the blood Judas sold was "INNOCENT BLOOD."

The loathsomely detestable "thirty shekels of silver" finalized this
transaction. However, this slave was none other than CREATOR GOD in the
flesh, so the thirty pieces of silver, the amount set by the religious
leaders, was the price for the sale of the MOST HIGH ONE.

The Prophet Zechariah had acted out a prophecy of these strange events
some 500 years before. "So they weighed out for my wages, thirty
shekels of silver — the noble sum that I was worthy in their
estimation." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 11. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

According to prophecy and its fulfillment, Judas threw this "blood
money" down in the Temple and went out and hanged himself. The money
was used to buy the Potter's Field to bury strangers in. [Matthew 27. 5
- 10] "Throw it to the potter — that princely price they set on
me. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them into the HOUSE
OF THE LORD for the potter." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 11. 13 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

These and many other details in these accounts constitute a remarkable
type and fulfillment of prophecy, a testimony of divine inspiration and
divine foreordination. It is also a striking picture of the price of
our salvation: For the "Field of Blood" typifies that great field, the
world. The field is the world [Matthew 13. 38] and YESHUA ha'MASHIACH
is the GOD/MAN WHO searched for the "treasure hidden in a field...and
for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."
[Matthew 13. 44] All that the LORD YESHUA had, HIS life's-blood, was
willingly shed that we, dead in our sins and hidden in the world of
filth, might be "purchased with HIS own blood." [Acts 20. 28] How
very thankful I am that this MAN OF SORROWS, the ROCK OF OUR SALVATION
cared enough to pay such a price to buy such a worthless worm like me!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
With great love have YOU loved us, O our GOD, and with exceeding
compassion have YOU borne with us. YOU taught us YOUR Holy Laws of life
and showed us the WAY of wisdom. We beseech YOU, O MERCIFUL ONE, to
grant us discernment, that we may understand and fulfill all the
Teaching of YOUR WORD. Make us willingly obedient with pleasure to obey
YOUR commandments and fill our hearts with love and reverence for YOU.
Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Learn from the mistakes of others. . . you won't live long enough to
make them all yourself.

BE STRONG
"Let not this BOOK OF TEACHING cease from your lips, but meditate and
recite it day and night, so that you may observe faithfully all that is
written in it. Only then will you prosper in your undertakings and only
then will you be successful." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Joshua received direct commands from the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD— "Moses
MY servant is dead. Prepare to cross the Jordan , together with all this
people, into the land that I am giving to the Israelites. Every spot on
which your foot treads I give to you, as I promised Moses." [Joshua
(Yehoshua) 1. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Joshua's tasks would be impossible without the guidance of THE MASTER
COMFORTER, the SPIRIT OF GOD. Thus, the OMNIPOTENT ONE spoke words of
bold encouragement to him, "BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE, for you shall
apportion to this people the land which I swore to their fathers to give
them. But you must be strong and very courageous to observe faithfully
all the TEACHING that MY servant Moses enjoined upon you. Do not deviate
from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever
you go. I charge you— Be strong and of good courage; do not be
terrified or dismayed, for the LORD your GOD is with you wherever you
go." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 6 - 7, 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LORD GOD ETERNAL encouraged Joshua further in saying to "not be
afraid, nor be dismayed" and to "observe to do all the Law." Complete
obedience to the Law of GOD is imperative (required, crucial, essential,
must)! One must obey for a prosperous result. The Apostle Paul
understood this also and encouraged his brethren — "BE STRONG in the
LORD and in the power of HIS might. Put on the whole armor of GOD, that
you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." [Ephesians 6.
10 - 11] "In all things we commend ourselves as ministers of GOD: in
much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in
imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; by
purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the HOLY SPIRIT,
by sincere love, by the WORD OF TRUTH, by the power of GOD, by the armor
of righteousness on the right hand and on the left." [2 Corinthians 6. 4
- 7]

The steadfast PERSONAL PRESENCE of the KING OF GLORY is the greatest of
all riches and HE promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
[Hebrews 13. 5] How very rich we are and greatly blessed with all the
spiritual blessings in heavenly places in MESSIAH YESHUA! May the LORD
your GOD be ever with you!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Good Sabbath — Come, let us go out to meet the Sabbath Queen, the
Bride of the week…Sabbath, eagerly awaited and joyously welcomed!
I greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul exults in my GOD. For HE clothed
me with garments of salvation, wrapped me in a robe of righteousness;
thus shouts of victory and praise spring forth in HIS PRESENCE. I love
YOU, LORD and I lift my voice to worship YOU.
MOST HOLY LORD, continue to impart YOUR blessing upon us. Teach us to
seek YOU evermore within the sanctuary of our souls, within the
tabernacle of YOUR world, and in the congregation of YOUR worshipers."
The grace of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH be with you this Sabbath and
always.

Post  Admin on Thu 30 May 2013, 7:25 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Fulfill GOD'S precepts joyfully, just as Israel accepted the TORAH at
Mount Sinai — with exceedingly great joy.

BRIGHTNESS OF HIS GLORY
"WHO being the brightness of HIS glory and the express image of HIS
person, and upholding all things by the word of HIS power, when HE had
by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the MAJESTY on
HIGH." [Hebrews 1. 3]

This is one of SCRIPTURE' S most magnificent enlightenment of the PERSON
and WORK of MESSIAH YESHUA. The word "brightness (Hebrew: nogahh)"
literally means "bright, brilliant light, radiating-out, illuminate"
conveying the energy outflow from the sun. The sun constitutes a
immense generator of energy, more than sufficient to sustain all life on
earth.

As the sun's energy rays are to the sun, so is the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA
to the GOD-head. JESUS is "THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD." [John 8. 12] HIS
"origin is from of old, from ancient times." [Micah (Michah) 5. 2
Tanakh, Nevi'im] YESHUA'S glorified "countenance was like the sun
shining in its strength." [Revelation 1. 16]

YESHUA, the RISEN ONE, is the LIFE-GIVING RADIANCE of the INDESCRIBABLE
GLORY of the ETERNAL ONE, from WHOSE face one day, heaven and earth will
flee away. [Revelation 20. 11] "Then the glory of the PRESENCE OF THE
LORD moved from the cherubim to the raised platform on which the Temple
stood, the House was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled
with the radiant brightness of the LORD'S GLORY and PRESENCE." [Ezekiel
(Yehezke-El) 10. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "But for you that fear MY NAME,
the SUN (Hebrew: "SHEMESH" one of the names of "YESHUA — THE WORD
made flesh") OF RIGHTEOUSNESS shall rise with healing in HIS wings (the
tassels on HIS "tallit (prayer shawl)" —see Matthew 9. 20)."
[Malachi (Malakhi) 4. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "HIS NAME shall endure
forever; HIS NAME shall continue as long as the sun (Hebrew: YINNON).
And men shall be blessed in HIM; all nations shall call HIM blessed."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 72. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The PRINCE OF PEACE, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the only MEDIATOR between GOD
and man, and through this SPLENDID ONE we can boldly enter into the
HEAVENLY FATHER'S PRESENCE. "For it is GOD WHO commanded the LIGHT to
shine out of darkness, WHO has shone in our hearts to give the light of
the knowledge of the GLORY OF GOD in the face of CHRIST JESUS, the
LORD." [2 Corinthians 4. 6] Soon and very soon, we shall behold HIS
incredibly spectacular glory. What a triumphantly spectacular day that
will be!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
O GOD, WHO alone is all good, WHOSE mercies fail not; WHOSE
loving-kindnesses never cease, we have all our hope and trust in YOU.
We bless YOU, our SALVATION and our HELP, our GOD to WHOM thanksgiving
is due. We are ever grateful that YOU dwell in us!
In YOUR mercy, O LORD, remember us and all YOUR children. O FATHER &
REDEEMER, mindful of YOUR covenant, we pray that YOUR love may never
forsake us. Even as the rainbow recalls this covenant, so may each new
day bring to all men the thought of YOUR gracious promise. Hasten the
time when YOUR Law will be written in every heart, from the smallest to
the greatest. Then shall mankind do YOUR will and the reward of
righteous service shall be peace.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Some things have to be believed to be seen!

VOICE FROM HEAVEN
"Now MY soul is troubled, and what shall I say? —FATHER, save ME
from this hour?— But for this purpose I came to this hour.
—FATHER, glorify YOUR NAME.— Then a VOICE came from heaven,
saying— "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again." [John
12. 27 - 28]

This was the last of three remarkable times during the earthly ministry
of MESSIAH YESHUA when GOD THE FATHER spoke directly from heaven
concerning HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON. The first was when John baptized
YESHUA in the Jordan River— "When HE had been baptized, JESUS came
up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to
HIM, and HE saw the SPIRIT OF GOD descending like a dove and alighting
upon HIM. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying— This is MY
BELOVED SON, in whom I am well pleased." [Matthew 3. 16 – 17; also,
Mark 1. 9-11; Luke 3. 21 - 22]

This was primarily given to the John, who was the forerunner of MESSIAH
in the likeness of Elijah, who said— "I saw the SPIRIT descending
from heaven like a dove, and HE remained upon HIM. I did not know HIM,
but HE WHO sent me to baptize with water said to me— Upon whom you
see the SPIRIT descending, and remaining on HIM, this is HE WHO baptizes
with the HOLY SPIRIT. And I have seen and testified that this is the SON
OF GOD." [John 1. 32 - 34]

The second time the VOICE spoke concerning the SON was to three chosen
disciples, Peter, James and John at MESSIAH' S transfiguration. And
behold, "a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out
of the cloud, saying— This is MY BELOVED SON, in WHOM I am well
pleased. Hear HIM!" [Matthew 17. 5] In later years, Peter recalled and
wrote of this experience— "For we did not follow cunningly devised
fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our LORD JESUS
CHRIST, but were eyewitnesses of HIS majesty. For HE received from GOD
THE FATHER honor and glory when such a VOICE came to HIM from the
EXCELLENT GLORY: "This is MY BELOVED SON, in WHOM I am well pleased."
And we heard this VOICE which came from heaven when we were with HIM on
the holy mountain." [2 Peter 1. 16 - 19]

The last illustrious words from the FATHER were in direct response to
the prayer of HIS BELOVED SON, at the beginning of the final week before
HE was crucified. The message was to HIS SON, yet at the same time it
was for the people. YESHUA said, "This VOICE did not come because of
ME, but for your sake. Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler
of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth,
will draw all peoples to MYSELF." This HE said signifying by what death
HE would die." [John 12. 19 - 30 33]

When GOD THE FATHER spoke from heaven, the message was to assure and
encourage all HIS dear saints for all time. The LORD YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH is the SON who GOD is glorified in. Now, it's your
choice, will you be obedient to the MASTER and hear HIM?

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
O FATHER, forgive us, for foolishly we have strayed from YOU. O KING,
pardon us for our sins are many. LORD OF HOSTS, WHO dwells above, YOU
alone are GOD. Draw us nearer to YOU, for we seek repentance. Remember
us unto life, be gracious to us according to YOUR abundant mercy. Thank
YOU for your hand that is stretched out to receive all who repent,
therefore we seek you early. O RIGHTEOUS ONE of mercy, glorify and
cleanse us from sin and guilt. Forgive us our trespasses, though they
are many, hear us, GOD of our fathers. Let not the gates of repentance
be closed, bring us near to YOU, O GOD. For YOUR forgiveness, YOUR
love, long-suffering, abundant kindness, infinite goodness and governing
the whole world in mercy we both desire and wait for. Make us again,
YOUR heritage. Thank YOU for the honor of being YOURS; we truly are
humbled. Amen!

Post  Admin on Tue 28 May 2013, 10:05 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Praise, hope, and faith are the stuff of which the positive attitude is
made; and the means whereby it is exhibited.

ORACLES OF GOD
"What advantage then has the Jew, or what is the profit of circumcision?
Much in every way! Chiefly because to them were committed the oracles
(revelation, sayings, forewarnings, foreshadowing) of GOD." [Romans 3. 1
- 2]

It became necessary, although GOD loves the whole world [John 3. 16],
for HIM to choose only one of the nations through which HE could convey
HIS WORD to all the other nations. The Jews therefore, were given the
high honor of bringing both the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD as well as the
LIVING WORD into the world. With such a privilege, they also must bear
great responsibility; yet most modern-day Jews deny both the inspiration
of the LIFE-GIVING ORACLES and certainly the INCARNATE DEITY OF MESSIAH.
Nevertheless, SCRIPTURE specifically reveals— "For what if some did
not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of GOD without
effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let GOD be found true but every man a
liar. As it is written: "That YOU may be justified in YOUR WORDS, and
may overcome when YOU are judged." [Romans 3. 3 - 4] "For law will
proceed from ME, through MY servant, Israel; MY justice rests as a light
of the peoples. In a moment, I will bring it; MY righteousness is near,
MY salvation has gone forth, and MY arms will judge the peoples."
[Isaiah (Yeshayah) 51. 4 - 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The expression "oracles of GOD" is used several times in the NEW
COVENANT. In Greek, it is the word, logion — and was understood by
the Greeks of that day to refer to actual supernatural utterances given
by a spirit through a human medium. Thus indicating that the OLD
COVENANT should be reasoned that they are verbally inspired by the
ALMIGHTY OMNISCIENT ONE.

In the Book of Hebrews, there is emphasis on the importance of "the
first principles of the oracles of GOD" [Hebrews 5. 12], rebuking those
believers who neglect to learn even the foundational truths of the
FLAWLESS HOLY SCRIPTURES. Paul had reprimanded the church at Corinth,
"And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as
to carnal, as to babes in CHRIST. I fed you with milk and not with solid
food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you
are still not able." [1 Corinthians 3. 1 - 2]

Subsequently, Peter uses the phrase — "oracles of GOD" — when he
is urging everyone with the spiritual gift of teaching to see that his
teaching conforms completely to the WORDS OF GOD as revealed in the
SACRED MANUSCRIPT. "If anyone speaks, let him speak as the ORACLES OF
GOD...that in all things GOD may be glorified through JESUS CHRIST, to
WHOM belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen" [1 Peter
4. 11] Our words should always be truth and reasoning and "let no
corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary
edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." [Ephesians 4. 29]

We then read in the book of Acts where Luke recounts when the ANGEL OF
THE LORD spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai as "the one who received the
living oracles to give to us." [Acts 7. 38] This clearly indicates that
the first five books of GOD'S WRITTEN LAW is indeed, the LIVING WORD
of the MOST HIGH GOD, written that we may know the wisdom of GOD in our
mind and the understanding in our hearts and "know that the SON OF GOD
has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know HIM WHO is
TRUE; and we are in HIM WHO is true, in HIS SON YESHUA ha'MASHIACH&quo t;
[1 John 5. 20] — HE is the FAITHFUL & LIVING WORD OF GOD and in HIM
alone is eternal life.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
When things get tough we must center on who GOD is, what HE has done,
what HE is doing, and particularly on what HE is going to do. Then we
praise HIM because in HIS great mercy HE gives us new birth, a LIVING
HOPE, and an inheritance.
Thanking those who served this Memorial Day. . . may the LORD GOD OF
HEAVEN draw you closer to HIS side as you fight for HIS TRUTH and give
your lives to take such a stand for freedom.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Believing is a fine thing, but placing those beliefs into implementation
is a test of strength.

BLESSED IS HE
"May he who enters be blessed in the NAME OF THE LORD! We bless you from
the HOUSE OF THE LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 118. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This is the pinnacle of the great Messianic Psalm. It was fulfilled
when YESHUA THE REDEEMER rode into Jerusalem on a little donkey just one
week before He died bearing the sins of the world, fulfilling the
prophecy of Zechariah, "Rejoice greatly Fair Zion! Shout! Raise a shout,
O daughter of Jerusalem! Lo, your KING is coming to you. HE is
victorious and just, triumphant and having salvation, yet humble, riding
on an ass, on a donkey foaled by a she-ass." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 9. 9
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

As YESHUA rode into Jerusalem, multitudes of people "took branches of
palm trees and went out to meet HIM, and cried out— HOSANNA! Blessed
is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD — the KING OF ISRAEL!" [John
12. 13]

Now, like then, most people doubt and reject the LORD JESUS all
together, crying out for HIM to be put to death. Although HE knew this
is what would happen, HE had already foretold it's happening— "O
Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those
who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children
together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not
willing! See! your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say
to you, you shall not see ME until the time comes when you say—
Blessed is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD!" [Luke 13. 34 - 35]

The principle applies to us individually, although it was especially
meant for the nation as a whole. When anyone hears the call of the LORD
JESUS, if he welcomes the GLORIOUS ONE, the RIGHTEOUS MESSIAH will,
without doubt, come into his heart, "whom having not seen you love, yet
believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory,
receiving the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls." [1
Peter 1. 8 - 9] And with faithful and sincere thanks we bless HIM WHO
came that we might live.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold
their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep
silent, and give HIM no rest till HE establishes and till HE makes
Jerusalem a praise in the earth. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 62:6-7]

For all things, O GOD our KING, we bless and exalt YOU for ever and
ever. YOU are the ROCK of our lives, the SHIELD of our salvation through
every generation. YOU, LORD GOD are good, YOUR mercies fail not and YOUR
loving kindnesses never cease. We give YOU thanks and glory and praise
for this is befitting, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is better to be ashamed of yourself than for others to be ashamed of
you.
BE THE EXAMPLE
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in
word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity...give
attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the
gift that is in you." [1 Timothy 4. 12 - 14]

After receiving LORD MESSIAH YESHUA as our SAVIOR and DELIVERER from
sin's bondage, HE gives us a work to do not for our salvation
HE alone can save us, but we are to do HIS will to show our love
for HIM to those around us as well as to principalities and powers in
high places. And, we are to continue being faithful witnesses of HIM.
"When I say of the righteous He shall surely live and relying
on his righteousness, he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds
shall be remembered; but for the iniquity that he has committed HE SHALL
DIE." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 33. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Therefore, as faithful believers who love our LORD JESUS, we should
continue in:
Word: "For the WORD OF GOD is living and powerful, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and
of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of
the heart." [Hebrews 4. 12] "Is not MY WORD like a fire? says the
LORD And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?"
[Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 23. 29]

Conduct: "Abstain from all appearance (every form) of evil." [1
Thessalonians 5. 22]

Love: "This is MY commandment, that you love one another as I have loved
you." [John 15. 12]

Spirit: "By this we know that we abide in HIM, and HE in us, because HE
has given us of HIS SPIRIT." [1 John 4. 13]

Faith: "Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." [James 2.
17]

Purity: "Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you. Cleanse your
hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. " [James
4. 8] "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of
your doings from before MY eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good;
seek justice." [Isaiah/Yeshayah) 1. 16 - 17a]

Interpretation: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD, a
worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD OF
TRUTH." [2 Timothy 2. 15]

Exhortation: "Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil
heart of unbelief in departing from the LIVING GOD; but exhort one
another daily, while it is called "Today" lest any of you be
hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." [Hebrews 3. 12 - 13]

Doctrine: "Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them,
for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you."
[1 Timothy 4. 16] "Stand fast and hold the traditions which you were
taught, whether by word or our epistle." [2 Thessalonians 2. 15]

Know for certain that "we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS
for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand that we should walk in
them." [Ephesians 2. 10] "We are HIS witnesses to these things, and so
also is the HOLY SPIRIT WHOM GOD has given to those who obey HIM." [Acts
5. 32] It is such a privilege and honor to serve such a WONDERFUL
MASTER, there is no greater love.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat we are praying for you our friends, both
Jew or Gentile. May you have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE is the
LORD of your life; oh, return to HIM with your whole heart. May each of
you be delivered from trouble and harm, or strengthened through it. Heal
us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight.
Go forth victoriously into the week and take some of Sabbath' s
sweetness with you.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Post  Admin on Sat 25 May 2013, 11:16 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Real friends are those who, when you've made a fool of yourself, don't
feel that you've done a permanent job.

THE MERCY SEAT
"You shall make a Mercy Seat of pure gold, two and a half cubits long
and a cubit and a half wide." [Exodus (Shemot) 25. 17 Tanakh, Torah]

Kapporeth is the Hebrew word meaning "mercy seat." It literally was a
lid covering the articles of judgment against the children of Israel and
all mankind. GOD'S Law, which was kept inside the Ark, condemned man
[Romans 3. 20; 8. 34] as did HIS truth and life symbolized in the manna
and the rod. Man could not keep GOD'S LAW, believe HIS TRUTH, and
appropriate HIS LIFE. Without a covering, the Ark of the Covenant would
have been a "Judgment Throne."

The Mercy Seat was not to be made out of wood, which represents
humanity; but was made of pure gold, symbolical of DIVINITY. Mercy is
of GOD, not of man. Thankfully, the OMNIPOTENT COVENANT KEEPER made the
WAY of redemption, a COVERING or PROPITIATION for sin. Therefore, it is
pure gold entirely. Only the MIGHTY CREATOR could fashion such a
PROTECTION; and HE planned it before the very foundation of the earth.
It is DIVINE all the way through!

The measurements of the Mercy Seat in width and length corresponds
exactly with the Ark of the Covenant so it completely covered the
contents of the Ark. The MASTER DESIGNER' S mercy is sufficient (because
of the blood atonement) to cover over His JUDGMENT against us.

MESSIAH YESHUA is our "MERCY SEAT" for "if anyone sins, we have an
ADVOCATE with the FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS. And HE HIMSELF is
the PROPITIATION for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the
whole world." [1 John 2. 1 - 2]

We must understand that BIBLE "types or symbols" themselves are not
perfect in every detail; only that which the type or symbol represents,
is Perfect. Typology shows similarities or contrasts as well as
different phases and aspects of the subject considered. The MERCY SEAT
is MESSIAH YESHUA, and yet it is also GOD'S Throne upon which MESSIAH
sets. The blood on the Mercy Seat is the requirement for atonement and
yet it represents the INNOCENT SLAIN LAMB WHO stood alive in the midst
of the Throne in Heaven!

Therefore, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH HIMSELF, with HIS atoning blood, is our
Mercy Seat, where we can meet with GOD ALMIGHTY. Thus, the golden,
blood-stained Mercy Seat becomes the very Throne of GOD, where HE meets
with those who believe on HIM for salvation. "Let us therefore come
boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace
to help in time of need." [Hebrews 4. 16]

It is a great privilege, honor and the blessing that our remarkable LORD
GOD SUPREME has given those who have been redeemed by the precious blood
of the GUILTLESS LAMB, to come into the Throne Room, the Holiest Place
where we can commune with HIM at the Mercy Seat. Oh what a ASTOUNDING,
ASTONISHING & WONDERFUL SAVIOR HE is!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Welcome Sabbath! We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR grace we
were taught the blessed holiness of the weekly day of rest; and Sabbath
is the sign of the tie that binds us to YOU. Keep us ever grateful and
grant us YOUR perfect rest, Amen. Open your hearts in song as the sunset
swells into a rhythm of changing colors. O taste and see that the LORD
is good to those who trust in HIM and wait for HIM; to the one who seeks
HIM with all their heart, HE will be found by them.
Our beloved and delightful brethren, our joy and crown, we encourage
you to stand firm, persevere in service to the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, HE
will make it worth it all in HIS perfect time. We are reminded that
justice is our duty and a better world our goal.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Faith sees the invisible, believes the unbelievable, receives the
impossible! [Corrie ten Boom]

ENOUGH!
"Then Israel said— It is enough. Joseph my son is still alive. I
will go and see him before I die." [Genesis (Bereshith) 45. 28 Tanakh,
Torah]

"It is enough!" (Hebrew: rab— much, great, vast, numerous) is an
exclamation of a thing or situation being satisfied, or a need has been
fulfilled, or a limit has been reached. This phrase occurs both in the
OLD COVENANT and three times in the NEW COVENANT using different Greek
terms (arketos – suffice, apechei – enough, hikanos –
ample).

In the opening text, Jacob is overcome with thankful emotion at the news
that Joseph, his beloved son was still alive, though considered dead for
many years. Then the Pharaoh, for a very different reason, cried
"Entreat (Hebrew: `athar— intercede, mediate, negotiate) the
LORD that there may be no more mighty thundering and hail, for it is
enough." [Exodus (Shemot) 9. 28 Tanakh, Torah]

When David sinned against the LORD by numbering the people, the LORD
sent a plague upon Israel from morning till the appointed time and
seventy thousand men of Israel died. And when the ANGEL stretched out
HIS hand over Jerusalem to destroy it, the LORD relented from the
destruction and said to the ANGEL who was destroying the people —
"It is enough — now restrain your hand." [2 Samuel/Shemuel Bet) 24.
16; 1 Chronicles/Shemuel Bet 21. 15]

Then there was Elijah who thought he could bear no more being exhausted
and weary of Ahab and his wife, Jezebel trying to kill him, journeyed
into the wilderness and set down under a broom tree and prayed that he
might die, proclaiming, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I am
no better than my fathers!" [1 Kings (Malek Alef) 19. 4 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

On the other hand, Proverbs tell of things that are never satisfied:
"The leech has two daughters —"Give!" and "Give!" Three things are
insatiable; Four never say, "Enough! " — The grave, the barren womb,
earth that cannot get enough water — and fire never says, "Enough! "
[Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In the NEW COVENANT, MESSIAH YESHUA counseled HIS followers that because
of HIM they would be hated, persecuted or even be put to death because
"A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It
is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like
his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how
much more will they call those of his household!" [Matthew 10. 21 - 25]
When nearing the time of HIS arrest, the MAN OF SORROWS, said to HIS
sleeping disciples, "It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the SON OF
MAN is being betrayed into the hands of sinners." [Mark 14. 41]

Earlier, when the MESSIAH sent the disciples out HE advised them to
supply their own needs and sell their garments to get a sword if they
didn't have one. They replied that they had two swords amongst them
and YESHUA replied, "It is enough." [Luke 22. 36 - 38] Obviously
implying that their mission was to spread the GOOD NEWS, not fight for
the MASTER.

There are many different circumstances which can lead one to cry:
"Enough! " But, "in the ages to come" there will never be an end to "the
exceeding riches of HIS grace in HIS kindness toward us in MESSIAH
YESHUA. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of GOD, not of works, lest anyone should
boast." [Ephesians 2. 7 - 9] We can never get enough of our WONDERFUL,
HOLY, AWESOME LORD GOD; how remarkably rich we are!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Our AWESOME CREATOR GOD is worthy of all our praise and
worshipÂ…remember, hard times cannot erase HIS promised.
Stay alert for such a time as this. . . keep watching and praying.

Post  Admin on Thu 23 May 2013, 8:54 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
How lovely it is to be nothing when GOD is all!

REDEEMED, INCORRUPTIBLE
"For thus says the LORD— You have sold yourselves for no price, and
shall be redeemed without money." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 52. 3 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

What a glorious promise, though we sold ourselves to the slavery of sin,
the LORD YESHUA paid the price to redeem us back to HIMSELF. Therefore,
we should "conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in
fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like
silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from
your fathers, but with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb
without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 17 – 19]

There is not enough wealth or riches in this world that could redeem
even one single soul, for gold and silver are corruptible elements in a
world under "the bondage of corruption." [Romans 8. 21] For everything
in the physical creation is decaying and dying. In fact, one day all
these "elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the
works that are in it will be burned up." [2 Peter 3. 10] Yes, the LORD
has warned that in HIS fierce anger, "all the earth shall be devoured
with the fire of MY jealousy." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3. 8 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

Furthermore, the seeds which transmit life are "corruptible seed" [1
Peter 1. 23], and all mankind is "corruptible man." [Romans 1. 23]
Everywhere and everything in this universal falls under the principle of
decay as one of its most basic laws —the law of increasing turmoil
and instability. . . but GOD is still in complete control.

However, in spite of the chaos and distortion in this corrupt world,
some things are incorruptible. The greatest of these definitely being
the "incorruptible ...WORD OF GOD which lives and abides forever." [1
Peter 1. 23] Though "Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS will
by no means pass away." [Matthew 24. 35] "The WORD of our GOD stands
forever." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 8] "The LORD...will exalt HIS law and
make it honorable." [Isaiah/Yeshayah) 42. 21], for HE has magnified HIS
WORD above HIS NAME. [Psalms/Tehillym 138. 2] HIS NAME and promises are
above all things.

We are redeemed, not by silver and gold, "but with the precious blood of
MESSIAH, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 19]
The LORD GOD HIMSELF is the glorious " incorruptible GOD" [Romans 2.
23], and HE has "begotten us again to a living hope through the
resurrection of JESUS CHRIST from the dead, to an inheritance
incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away." [1 Peter 1. 3
– 4] We work, not as others, "to obtain a perishable crown, but we
for an imperishable crown." [1 Corinthians 9. 25 ]

At last, our dying bodies will finally be redeemed, "we shall all be
changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised
incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on
incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. " [1 Corinthians
15. 51,b – 53]

We are opulently, pensively, marvelously redeemed by the most precious
blood of the LAMB, the KING OF GLORY. . . how I love to proclaim it.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
LORD our GOD, great, eternal, wonderful in glory, WHO keeps covenant and
promises for those that love YOU with their whole heart, WHO is the LIFE
of all, the HELP of those that flee to YOU, the HOPE of those who cry to
YOU, cleanse us from our sins, secret and open, and from every thought
displeasing to YOUR goodness — cleanse our bodies and souls, our
hearts and consciences, that with a pure heart, and a clear soul, with
perfect love and calm hope, we may venture confidently and fearlessly to
pray to YOU. And, we thank YOU in the MAGNIFICENT NAME of YESHUA we
pray, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Man should bless the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY in times of trouble, even as he
blesses GOD in times of the good.

HEAVENLY WISDOM
"As it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have
entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for
those who love HIM. BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT.
For the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep (Hebrew: 'amoq —
mysterious, unsearchable) things of GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 9 - 10]

The first part of this text is often quoted. . . then people go on to
say that "the wonders of GOD cannot be known, fathomed or imagined."
However, if they would only continue reading, the very next verse states
that HOLY GOD does reveal it to those who know HIM, as it is HIS wish
that we know and understand.

"It is the glory of GOD to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is
to explore a matter." [Proverbs (Mishle) 25. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
"Concealed secret acts concern the LORD our GOD; but obvious things
which are revealed is for us and our children ever to apply all the
provisions of this TEACHING." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29 Tanakh,
Torah] "Such things had never been heard or noted; no eye has seen
then, O GOD, but YOU WHO acts for those who trust in HIM." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 64. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "For behold! I am creating a new
heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they
shall never come to mind." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Our SOVEREIGN LOVING ALMIGHTY GOD doesn't do anything unless it is first
revealed to the prophets. "But now the righteousness of GOD apart from
the Law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets [Romans
3. 21] which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it
has now been revealed by the SPIRIT to HIS holy apostles and prophets."
[Ephesians 3. 5]

"For in it (the power of the GOSPEL) the righteousness of GOD is
revealed from faith to faith; as it is written— The just shall live
by faith." [Romans 1. 17] "The LORD has manifested HIS salvation; has
displayed HIS righteousness and triumph in the sight of the nations."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 98. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"The PRESENCE of the glory of the LORD shall appear, and all flesh, as
one, shall behold — for the LORD HIMSELF has spoken." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 40. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "JESUS said — I thank YOU,
FATHER, LORD OF HEAVEN & EARTH, that YOU have hidden these things from
the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes." [Matthew 11. 25;
Luke 11. 25; 10. 21] "The mystery which has been hidden from ages and
from generations, but now has been revealed to HIS saints." [Colossians
1. 26]

By HIS mighty hand and outstretched arm, the PRINCE OF PEACE delivered
you that you might know the HOLY & TRUE ONE personally; there is none
other besides HIM. HE desires that we hear HIS voice, that HE might
instruct us. Truly the hearts cry of the MASTER OF MERCY to HIS people
is, "O that they might know ME."

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel !
DEAR BLESSED SAVIOR, I dare not start the day without first communing in
prayer with YOU. Thanking YOU for this new day of promise to do some
good deed for others. Strengthen me to lend a hand where needed; to
teach others how to be brave and forgiving; forbid that I should ever
judge another or hold a grudge or prove myself shallow or vain, or
through some thoughtless act, cause pain or shame YOUR HOLY NAME. Keep
me humble, kind and sincere; drive from my heart all doubt and fear.
And, should joy or sorrow come, grant me wisdom, LORD, to see and
understand that it is from YOUR hand, and that YOUR great love abides
still lest I forget to seek YOUR face. Remind me often that I am weak,
walk close beside me all the way. This is my prayer, my petition today
and forever, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When the time comes for you to live, there aren't enough years.

MOSES & THE SERPENT
"The LORD sent fiery serpents (Hebrew: "seraph" ) against the people.
They bit the people and many of the Israelites died. The people came to
Moses and said We sinned by speaking against the LORD and against
you. Intercede with the LORD to take away the seraph serpents from us!
And Moses interceded for the people." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 21. 6 - 7
Tanakh, Torah]

These serpents ("seraph" - fiery) were RIGHTEOUS GOD'S judgment on the
Israelites because of their sin. Moses was the mediator who interceded
before the Holy ONE for help. Only the LOVING MASTER had the remedy
for the serpent' s bite when they turned and confessed that they had
sinned. "Then the LORD said to Moses Make a seraph figure and
mount it on a standard. And if anyone who is bitten LOOKS at it, he
shall recover. Moses made a copper (nechosheth) serpent and mounted
it on a standard; and when anyone was bitten by a serpent, he would look
at the copper serpent and recover." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 21. 8 - 9
Tanakh, Torah] The Hebrew word, "nechosheth&qu ot; should be interpreted
copper not brass. The MASTER CREATOR deals with pure metals, and brass
is an alloy, a mixture of zinc and copper therefore brass would be
a wrong translation here.

GOD OMNISCIENT provided a substitute, the serpent of copper, for Israel
so they would not die from the poison of the serpent' s bite. "Moses
made a copper serpent and mounted it on a standard; and when anyone was
bitten by a serpent, he would look at the copper serpent and recover."
[Numbers (B'Midvar) 21. 9 Tanakh, Torah] The ALL-WISE GOD gave the
instructions in order that by means of the copper serpent, Israel would
be saved. GOD'S WAY is the only plan that must be obeyed in order to be
saved.

The Israelites were simply to "LOOK" upon the serpent to be healed.
This look required faith to believe. Their faith prompted them to obey
instructions of the LORD OF HOSTS and were delivered, forgiven, healed
and saved.

YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the wonderful provision for the people of the
world. HOLY SCRIPTURES declare that every person is a sinner and needs
salvation, deliverance, and healing. Before the foundations of the
world, GOD ordained the "ANSWER SOLUTIONCURE REMEDY" which
HE would provide. It was not man's plan, for man's way is not GOD'S
Way.

The standard upon which the copper form of a serpent hung, prophesies of
Golgotha' s Slaughter Place. "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the
wilderness, even so must the SON OF MAN be lifted up." [John 3. 14] The
serpent is symbolic of sin. In this instance, it pointed to MESSIAH
YESHUA WHO was the SIN-OFFERING, the PERFECT REMEDY for sin. GOD'S
righteous judgment for sin (represented in the copper), was received by
the LORD JESUS...that judgment should have been ours! "WHO HIMSELF
bore our sins in HIS OWN BODY on the tree, that we, having died to sins,
might live for righteousness by WHOSE stripes you were healed." [1
Peter 2. 24] GOD made YESHUA ha'MASHIACH to be sin for us.
[Isaiah/Yeshayah 50. 5 - 6; John 3. 14 - 16; Galatians 3. 13] JESUS
CHRIST OF NAZARETH bore our sins in HIS OWN BODY on the cross, "HE (GOD
THE FATHER) made HIM (GOD THE SON) WHO knew no sin to be sin for us,
that we might become the righteousness of GOD in HIM (MESSIAH YESHUA)."
[2 Corinthians 5. 21]

"As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the SON
OF MAN be lifted up; that whoever believes in HIM should not perish but
have eternal life." [John 3. 14 - 15] The REDEEMER OF ISRAEL is the
"SON OF MAN" the "SAVIOR OF THE WORLD." As the fiery serpents
were a judgment on Israel because of her sin so all people are
under judgment of death because of sin. Just as there was no human
help against the serpent' s bite, so there is no human remedy for sin.

When our forefathers looked to the LORD GOD OF HEAVEN and confessed
their sin, they received deliverance. When we confess that we are
sinners, admitting our sinfulness and turn to the LORD JESUS for help,
we receive forgiveness for salvation unto righteousness. As Moses was
commanded to substitute a serpent of copper lifting it up on a standard,
so JESUS, Israel's MESSIAH & SAVIOUR of all mankind, was lifted up on
Golgotha' s Cross as a Substitute, the Antidote for the poison of sin's
venom (the serpent' s bite). The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA is GOD'S HOLY
REMEDY, GOD'S DELIVERANCE, GOD'S SALVATION & HEALING for us.

The Israelites only had to look and live. All who look to our LORD
YESHUA will live eternally (be delivered and healed from sin's venom)!
The KEEPER OF THE VINEYARD, the LORD JESUS said "And I, if I am
lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to MYSELF." [John 12.
32] Look and Live! Behold the KING OF GLORY!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath we pray. . .O LORD GOD ETERNAL, be a
SHELTER for YOUR people, and the STRENGTH of the children of Israel,
that they shall all know YOU. Be gracious to us; we have waited for
YOU. Be our secure arm each morning and our Salvation in the times of
trouble. Keep us ever mindful of YOU that we serve YOU with all our
being. Humbly, we thank YOU for being our GREAT & MIGHTY GOD!
Be a witness and a blessing to others during the week that the LIGHT of
YESHUA shine through you.

Post  Admin on Sat 18 May 2013, 9:48 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The world stands on three pillars: On Torah, on worship, and on acts of
loving-kindness. Throughout the Festival of Shavuot, the Season of the
Giving of the Torah, we are reminded of the centrality of Torah; which
teaches us the third pillar, to worship Almighty God through our
compassionate (kind) and coherent (fair) dealings with all.
When GOD'S PRESENCE filled the Tabernacle, HE said — "Today I am
causing MY PRESENCE to rest among you; if you sin, MY PRESENCE will
leave you. But when MESSIAH comes, MY PRESENCE will remain with you
permanently. Now you see the DIVINE PRESENCE through fire, but with the
coming of the MESSIAH you will see ME clearly revealed, as it is
written: For eye to eye shall they see when GOD returns to Zion."
[Tz'enah Ur'enah]

FULFILLED LAW
"HE (the risen LORD JESUS) said to them (the 11 frightened disciples)
— These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with
you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law
(Torah) of Moses and the Prophets (Nevi'im) and the Psalms (Kethuvim)
concerning ME." [Luke 24. 44]

After HIS death and resurrection, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH appeared to HIS
disciples and ate broiled fish and honeycomb with them to prove HE was
not a spirit as they supposed. Then, the LORD JESUS opened their minds
so they could understanding the SCRIPTURES saying to them: "This is what
is Written — The CHRIST will suffer and rise from the dead on the
third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in
HIS NAME to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. You are witnesses of
these things. I am going to send you what MY FATHER has promised; but
stay in the City until you have been clothed with POWER from on high."
[Luke 24. 46 - 49]

The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH alone perfectly completed all three offices
(Prophet — Priest — King): "JESUS OF NAZARETH, WHO was a PROPHET
mighty in deed and word before GOD and all the people." [Luke 24. 19]

"We have a GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO has passed through the heavens, JESUS
THE SON OF GOD, let us hold fast our confession." [Hebrews 4. 14] "And
HE lives continually to make intercession for us, our GREAT HIGH PRIEST
was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from
sinners, and has become higher than the heavens." [Hebrews 7. 25 - 26]

"All who survive of all those nations that came up against Jerusalem
shall come up year by year to worship and bow low to the KING, the LORD
OF HOSTS and to observe the Feast of Booths (Succoth)." [Zechariah
(Zecharyah) 14. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Even as I will pour water on
thirsty soil, and rain upon dry ground, so I will pour MY SPIRIT on your
offspring, MY blessing upon your posterity." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 44. 3
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out MY SPIRIT on
all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men
shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions. And also on MY
menservants and on MY maidservants I will pour out MY SPIRIT in those
days. And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: blood and
fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and
the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of
the LORD. And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the NAME OF
THE LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall
be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the remnant whom the LORD
calls." [Joel/Yoel 2. 28 - 32]

This began to be fulfilled when Shavuot (Pentecost) came, ten days after
MESSIAH, the BELOVED SON, returned to the FATHER in Heaven. "And they
were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT and began to speak with other
tongues, as the SPIRIT gave them utterance." [Acts 2. 4] Now we can
come boldly into the Throne Room of Grace. . . how marvelous!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Chag Samayach — Joyous Holiday!" Blessings to all who love Zion!
The Talmud says Jerusalem was named by the ALMIGHTY ONE, blessed be HE.
The name has two parts: Yira, which means "to see" and salem, which
means "peace. "
We were greatly blessed when the HOLY ONE has brought us out of slavery
from Egypt (Passover) and took HIS people directly to Mount Sinai
(freedom). There HE gave us the Law (Shavu'ot) to keep us free from
slavery (to sin). Then, gave us YESHUA ha'MASHIACH to keep us free and
give us true peace and rest (Sukkoth/Booths) .
Without TORAH we would not have a GUIDE BOOK for living, so one of the
many kindnesses the ALMIGHTY ONE has done for us as a people was to give
us this SPECIAL GIFT. Without TORAH we wouldn't know how to
function; we wouldn't know the best way to serve our CREATOR; we
wouldn't have the tools to distinguish between reality and illusion,
between light and dark; we would not have moral clarity; we wouldn't
have a GUIDE BOOK FOR LIVING; nor would we know how to confront
life's greatest challenges or answer life's difficult questions;
we would still be wandering in the desert — if not literally,
certainly spiritually. Shavuot is a time to appreciate, to say thanks to
the LORD GOD, to imagine the void of a life without TORAH and to
experience as if for the first time how it lights up our lives and fills
our souls. So we thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for YOUR love, so rich
and pure, and for HIS wisdom in giving us HIS Precious Law.
HalleluYAH…what a WONDERFUL SAVIOR!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you cannot endure the bad, you'll not live to witness the good.

COMFORT MY PEOPLE
"My life was bereft of peace; I have forgotten prosperity and what
happiness was. I thought my strength and my hope had perished from the
LORD. To recall my distress and my misery was wormwood and poison;
whenever I thought of them, I was bowed low." [Lamentations (Eicha) 3.
17 - 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Jeremiah' s heart is in agonizing struggle and again mourns, "YOU have
screened YOURSELF off with a cloud that no prayer may pass through. YOU
have made us filth and refuse in the midst of the peoples. All our
enemies loudly rail against us. Panic and pitfall, death and destruction
are our lot. My foes have snared me like a bird, without any cause. They
have ended my life in a pit and cast stones at me, waters flowed over my
head; I said— I am lost!" [Lamentations (Eicha) 3. 44 - 46; 52 - 54
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Again today Israel is on a desert road with sufferings at every turn.
GOD ALMIGHTY, however, often proves HIS love for us exactly when HE
seems to be hard towards us. There is so much we can learn in HIS paths
of chastening. In trouble and suffering and when HIS chastening hand
is upon us, we can come to know the HOLY ONE as our LOVING FATHER more
then any other time. Accepting HIS chastening is like a key unlocking
the HEAVENLY FATHER'S heart with all HIS blessings and kindness. We
will find that afterwards HE will shower us all the more with an
abundance of good things. And GOD HIMSELF will be glorified if we
follow HIS leading wholeheartedly.

Our HOLY GOD, the COMMANDER OF THE LORD'S ARMY, will provide a way
of deliverance, for HIS hand is not too short to save nor HIS ear too
dull to hear when HIS children cry to HIM. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 59. 1] HE
will not desert HIS people, nor will HE abandon them to their enemies.

"As I live— declares the LORD GOD —I will reign over you with a
strong hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, I will
rule over you. With a strong hand and an outstretched arm and
overflowing fury I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you
from the lands where you are scattered, and I will bring you into the
wilderness of the peoples; and there I will enter into judgment with you
face to face." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 20. 33 - 35 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"When you call ME and come and pray to ME, I will give heed to you. You
will search for ME and find ME, if only you seek ME wholeheartedly. I
will be at hand for you— declares the LORD —and I will restore
your fortunes. And I will gather you from all the nations and from all
the places to which I have banished you— declares the LORD —and
I will bring you back to the place from which I have exiled you."
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 29. 12 - 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"I will exchange their (the remnant of Israel) disgrace for praise and
fame in all the earth. At that time I will gather you, and at that time
I will bring you home; for I will make you renowned and famous among all
the peoples on earth, when I restore your fortunes before your very
eyes— said the LORD." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3. 19 - 20 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

"Your GOD the LORD is in your midst, the MIGHTY ONE WHO brings triumph.
HE will rejoice over you and be glad, HE will shout over you with
jubilation, HE will quiet you with HIS renewed love as in the days of
old, HE will rejoice over you with singing." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3.
17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The steadfast love of the BLESSED CREATOR & REDEEMER never ceases, nor
has it ceased for Israel today. The present darkness of this world will
not last forever. Mankind awaits the coming RIGHTEOUS KING WHO will
make all things new. From the moment our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH
returns, HIS glorious righteousness will shine into all nations and they
will share in the blessings and peace of HIS Glorious Kingdom as well.
Through it all, HE will uphold us with HIS righteous right hand, how can
we help but totally trust such faithfulness!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!

Welcome Sabbath, Queen of the week! We praise and bless you O GOD, for
lovingly and graciously giving YOUR Holy Shabbat to all peoples. May it
be YOUR will that our homes become a sanctuary worthy of YOUR HOLY
PRESENCE wherein YOUR SPECTACULAR NAME shall be hallowed, that YOU may
come and grant YOUR blessings and YOUR divine grace be made manifest on
this sacred day. We give ourselves over into YOUR keeping, our hearts
contrite, and our prayers made with a repentant heart.
Though I cannot trace HIS footprints, yet HIS PRESENCES lingers. Hush
my soul, be patient, for someday soon you will see HIM, you will meet
HIM face-to-face. And in Heaven's Garden, I will walk with the LORD my
GOD always. What a glorious day that will be!

Post  Admin on Fri 17 May 2013, 10:09 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Being happy does not mean that everything is perfect...it means
you've looked beyond the imperfections to see as love sees.

SHAVU'OT
"From the day on which you bring the sheaf of elevation offering —
the day after Sabbath — you shall count off seven weeks. They must
be complete: you must count until the day after the seventh week —
Fifty Days; then you shall bring an offering of new grain to the LORD.
You shall bring from your settlements two loaves of bread as an
elevation offering; each shall be made of two-tenths of a measure of
choice flour, baked after leavening, as first fruits to the LORD."
[Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 15 - 17 Tanakh, Torah]

Shavuoth (weeks) also called Feast of Pentecost, Feast of Harvest and
Feast of Weeks. Shavuoth is recognized as a memorial to the giving or
revelation of ALMIGHTY GOD'S gift of the 10-Commandments at Mount Sinai
50-Days after the Israelites were led out of Egypt . Seven weeks after
leaving the land of death, the Israelites received the entire moral law
from the mouth of the LORD GOD HIMSELF as HE spoke to them from Mount
Sinai to guide and establish the redeemed nation.

It is a time to remember and observe the anniversary of the Covenant
between the ETERNAL GOD and Israel . GOD'S time table is remarkable,
first HE established HIS pattern for redemption in the death of the
Sacrificial Lamb. As death visited the first-born of all the homes in
Egypt not covered by the blood, Israel was set free from her bondage.
Passover is a memorial to freedom. Many years later, at Passover,
YESHUA ha'MASHIACH concluded that sacrifice, setting us free from sin
and death. Paul identifies HIM in the resurrection as "CHRIST THE
FIRST-FRUITS" [1 Corinthians 15. 23] for it was on the morning of the
offering of the first fruits of the barley harvest that HE WHO is the
BREAD OF LIFE raised from the dead.

Shavu'ot remembers GOD'S message of the Law, "All the people answered as
one, saying —All that the LORD has spoken we will do!" [Exodus
(Shemot) 19. 8 Tanakh, Torah] There is no liberty without DIVINE Law
and self-discipline. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA said, "Go! make disciples
of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the FATHER and of the
SON and of the HOLY SPIRIT, TEACHING them to observe all things that I
have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the
age." [Matthew 28. 19 - 20]

On Shavuoth/Pentecost, the priest waved two loaves of challah (leavened
bread) before the LORD GOD OF HEAVEN. Usually leaven is forbidden, but
on this occasion there was a hidden meaning to the leaven. OLD
COVENANT saints wrote about the "GREAT SECRET" and the SECRET laid
hidden from Genesis to Malachi (Bereshith — Dibre Hayamin Bet in the
TANAKH). But, it was never fully known until the time of Paul. The
HOLY SPIRIT revealed to this Jewish Apostle that GOD'S eternal purpose
was to take from both Jew and Gentile, a people for HIS GREAT NAME, that
they would be made a joint-body in MESSIAH YESHUA!

The two loaves "baked with leaven" were to be waved before the HIGH &
LOFTY ONE on Shavuoth, represent Jew and Gentile. The leaven is
symbolic of sin in them both being brought together in the SON. Here
ETERNAL GOD was teaching HIS people that divine redemption through HIS
ANOINTED ONE would be for whosoever will. "For there is no distinction
between Jew and Greek, for the same LORD over all is rich to all who
call upon HIM. For whoever calls on the NAME OF THE LORD shall be
saved." [Romans 10. 12 - 13]

As the wave offering was lifted up to a high plane, so the HOLY SPIRIT
leads both Jew and Gentile to the holy faith in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH to
the highest position near to the very heart of GOD OMNISCIENT. Also,
the HOLY SPIRIT leads both Jew and Gentile and forms us into one body.
Faith in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA makes every man equal in GOD'S sight.
The LORD MOST HIGH is the gracious and merciful GOD & KING!

The LORD JESUS set us free from the Law in granting us salvation.
Salvation is a gift to be accepted not a status we achieve. YESHUA, the
ROCK of our salvation, sets us free from our own habits and actions in
order that we may be free to obey. We become free to do, not as we
please, but as the LORD GOD commands. In a sense, we are set free from
our own habits, actions and the traditions of men so that we may hear
the authentic and complete WRITTEN WORD OF GOD. This freedom comes from
the knowledge that it is no longer our own efforts, but it is GOD'S
power that is at work within us. This was then demonstrated and brought
to completion in HIS season or timing: "And when the DAY OF PENTECOST
(Shavuoth) had fully come, they were all together in one place" [Acts 2.
1], celebrating this "FESTIVAL OF THE FIRST-FRUITS" of the wheat harvest
"and they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT" becoming the "first
fruits" of GOD'S Harvest.

The POWER OF THE ETERNAL ONE came to dwell in us. The prophets were
continually calling the nation of Israel back to the LIVING GOD WHO had
made HIMSELF known at the Exodus. We can know that same HOLY GOD,
through YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, by the power of the SPIRIT OF GOD. On
Shavuoth/Pentecost, the HOLY SPIRIT came [Acts 2] to fulfill the
prophecy of David so that the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA would be recognized by
Israel and known as THE ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel
!
6 Sivan (May 15th this year) — The giving of the TORAH at Mount
Sinai. [Exodus/Shemot 19 & 20]
The following is a prayer for the restoration of Zion by a MESSIANIC
Jewish Rabbi and believer in YESHUA, Yechiel Tzvi Lichtenstein
(1831-1912). It was first published in 1887 and has been reprinted again
by Vine of David:
"O LORD, in accordance with all of YOUR acts of righteousness, let YOUR
anger and wrath turn away from YOUR city Jerusalem , YOUR holy mountain.
Our FATHER, our KING, lift a banner to the peoples to return Israel to
its pasture. Gather us together from the four corners of the earth to
our land, and plant us within its borders on the mountain of our
inheritance. Bring us to Zion , YOUR city, with singing and to Jerusalem
, YOUR Holy City, with eternal joy. Build it in YOUR compassion and let
it remain perched and inhabited in its place. Establish YOUR Holy Temple
in it and gladden us in YOUR House of Prayer. Return YOUR Dwelling
Presence to Zion , YOUR city, and send us YESHUA our MESSIAH a second
time. Let HIM reign upon the throne of David in Jerusalem , YOUR Holy
City. Lift up the horn of the salvations of your people Israel in the
House of David YOUR servant —salvation from our enemies and from the
hand of all who hate us, just as YOU have spoken through YOUR prophets.
O LORD, hear! O LORD, forgive! O LORD, listen and act! Do not delay, for
YOUR OWN sake, our GOD, for YOUR NAME is called upon YOUR city and upon
YOUR people. Hasten, ha'SHEM, to help us! Ransom YOUR people Israel
from all its iniquities and from all its troubles, for the time to be
gracious has come, for the appointed time has come. Amen."
Chag Samayach — Joyous Holiday We wish all of you a Blessed Mattan
ha'TORAH — the Giving of the Law! Have an extraordinarily
blessed day in celebrating the Festival of Weeks.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When asked why Shavuoth is called the time of the "Giving of the TORAH"
rather than the "Receiving of the TORAH" — the Kotzker Rebbe
responded, "The TORAH was given but once on Mount Sinai, but the
receiving of the TORAH is everyday."
The Law is a hidden treasure. . . "Dresh (Hebrew: search it out)!"

FEAST OF WEEKS
"Three times a year you shall hold a festival for ME: You shall observe
the FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD — eating unleavened bread for seven
days as I have commanded you — at the set time in the month of Abib
(translates: ear, green ears of corn), for in it you went forth from
Egypt; and none shall appear before ME empty handed; and the FEAST OF
HARVEST, of the first fruits of your labors, of what you sow in the
field; and the FEAST OF INGATHERING at the end of the year, when you
have gathered in the fruit of your labors from the field." [Exodus
(Shemot) 23. 14 - 16 Tanakh, Torah]

Chag ha'Shavuot is the Hebrew word for the FEAST OF Weeks, because
it is celebrated seven weeks after Passover. The Hebrew words seven
(sheva) and week (shavua) are derived from the same root word. However
it is also known by many names, reflecting its historical and
agricultural significance: Chag ha'Katzir — Feast of the Wheat
Harvest. Chag ha'Bikkuriym — Festival of First Fruits, which were
harvested and offered at the Temple. Zman Matan Toratenu — time of
giving of the TORAH. And, Atzeret — the closing festival as some
regard Shavuot as the conclusion of Passover, because the Exodus from
Egypt was for the purpose of receiving the TORAH.

Shavuot is the culmination of the seven-week-long counting of the Omer
that occurs following Passover. The Festival of Shavuot is the
anniversary of the giving of the TORAH and the giving of the HOLY
SPIRIT, it is also known as Pentecost. This year it begins on the eve
of May 26 and lasts thru sundown May 28 (Hebrew Date: Sivan 5 — 7),
the event taking place 50 days after Passover. A new grain offering
that the ETERNAL LORD GOD required included two loaves of leavened bread
which the priest waved before the LOVING MASTER. "You shall bring from
your settlements two loaves of bread as a wave offering; each shall be
made of two-tenths of an ephah of choice fine flour, baked after
leavening, as first fruits to the LORD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 17
Tanakh, Torah]

On this Feast, the Book of Ruth is read in Synagogues around the world.
It tells of a poor Moabitess and her Jewish mother-in-law who return to
Bethlehem from Moab at harvest time. Under the Law, the GREAT & MIGHTY
GOD OF ISRAEL instructed, "When you reap the harvest of your land, you
shall not reap all the way to the edges of your field, or gather the
gleanings of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor and the
stranger — I the LORD am your GOD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 22
Tanakh, Torah] Ruth (friend) is directed by the hand of the HOLY ONE
to glean in the field of Boaz (fleetness; it is strength), the man she
will marry and who father's Obed (serving), the grandfather of Jesse (I
possess) — the father of David (beloved). [Ruth/Roos 4. 21 - 22]
The Moabitess, Ruth is the great-grandmother of King David. Since
tradition alleged that King David was born and died on Shavuot, the Book
of Ruth is read in his honor.

Also, Shavuoth is the day King David was to have written his most famous
songs, Psalm 119, which highly praises and extols the WORD OF THE MOST
HIGH. David, the greatest king of Israel and a man after GOD'S OWN
heart, is remembered on this Festival for his unique and intimate
relationship with the HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH.

Shavuoth is a time to re-commit oneself to the MAGNIFICENT GOD OF THE
UNIVERSE and to HIS LIFE-GIVING WORD. Now is the time for harvest of
souls. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA exhorted us to "lift up your eyes and
look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who
reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he
who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together." [John 4. 35 - 36]
"Blessed is that servant whom his MASTER, when he comes, will find so
doing." [Matthew 24. 46] "Observe what is right and do what is just; for
soon MY SALVATION shall come, and MY DELIVERANCE be revealed." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 56. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"May the LORD reward your deeds. May you have a full recompense from the
LORD, the GOD OF ISRAEL, under WHOSE wings you have come for refuge."
[Ruth (Roos) 2. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Come...let us worship and bow down
before our BLESSED CREATOR!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
REDEMPTION & TORAH [An excerpt from Torah Club, Volume 5]
Then GOD spoke all these words, saying — "I am the LORD your GOD,
WHO brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery."
[Exodus/Shemot 20. 1-2]
The Festival of Shavuot (Pentecost) is the anniversary of the giving of
the TORAH and the giving of the HOLY SPIRIT. As part of the
commemoration, the Ten Commandments are read publicly in the Assembly on
the Feast of Shavuot.
The first commandment is to believe in the LORD GOD and to accept HIS
claim of ownership over us. Unless we accept the basic premise of GOD'S
existence, no number of commandments will have any authority or meaning
for us. The need for such a command demonstrates the incongruity of
ascribing to morality without believing in a moral authority. If we
accept the premise of objective morality, we must accept that there is a
higher authority issuing that objective standard.
We also learn from this that redemption must precede commandments.
Before we can receive the TORAH, we must already be saved. Israel's
salvation from Egypt was not accorded to her on the basis of her
obedience to the commandments. She was already redeemed (on no merit of
her own) before the Laws at Sinai were given to her. Thus the first
declaration at Mt. Sinai is a reminder of their redeemed status. Only
because the Israelites were already saved are they able to receive the
commands of ALMIGHTY GOD.
True legalism continually attempts to reverse this process by claiming
that one's obedience to certain commandments (or, all the
commandments) is the mechanism by which salvation is earned. The first
of the Ten Commandments directly contradicts this notion. Salvation and
relationship with GOD OMNISCIENT precedes the TORAH.
"Chag Shavuoth Samayach — Joyous Holiday…this is the 49th Day of
the Omer!"

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If we don't learn from our mistakes, then it doesn't make sense to make
them.

GOD'S MESSAGE TO WOMEN
When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When
I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But
you, woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man
because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come
over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you.
Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the
creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that
protects man's life. I chose the rib, which protects his heart and
lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone I
shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully.
Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile.
You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart.

Man's heart is the center of his being; his lungs hold the breath
of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it will
allow damage to the heart. Support man as the rib cage supports the
body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you
taken from his head, to be above him. You were taken from his side, to
stand beside him and be held close to his side.

You are MY perfect creation. You are MY beautiful little girl. You have
grown to be a splendid woman of excellence, and MY eyes fill when I see
the virtues in your heart. Your eyes — don't change them. Your lips
— how lovely when they part in prayer; your nose, so perfect in
form, your hands so gentle to touch. I've caressed your face in your
deepest sleep;

I've held your heart close to MINE. Of all that lives and breathes, you
are the most like ME. Adam walked with ME in the cool of the day and yet
he was lonely. He could not see ME or touch ME . He could only feel ME.

So everything I wanted Adam to share and experience with ME, I
fashioned in you: MY holiness, MY strength, MY purity, MY love, MY
protection and support. You are special because you are the extension of
ME.

Man represents MY IMAGE — woman, MY emotions. Together, you
represent the totality of the LORD GOD. So men — treat your woman
well. Love her, respect her, for she is fragile. In hurting her, you
hurt Me. What you do to her, you do to ME. In crushing her, you only
damage your own heart, the heart of your HEAVENLY Father, and the heart
of her LOVING FATHER.

Woman, support man. In humility, show him the power of emotion I have
given you. In gentle quietness show your strength. In love, show him
that you are the rib that protects his inner self. ~ Author Unknown ~

In Genesis 2:7, the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN, blessed be HE, formed man from
the dust of the earth. The Hebrew word for formed is "yasar" —
meaning to mold like a potter or squeeze into shape. However, an
exclusively different word is used when it comes to Eve's construction
in Genesis 2:22. When CREATOR GOD made Eve (Chavvah), the Hebrew word
"banah" is used and means skillfully formed. Eve was not squeezed out,
but skillfully formed and carefully molded. From the beginning, GOD'S
treatment of Eve was super special. . . with care and gentleness.
Genesis 3:20 tells us that Adam called his wife Chavvah — because
she was the mother of all living.

Christ-like- mothers, you have a very special birthright. You are divine
citizens with a divine heritage and birthright. Esau treated his
birthright lightly and finally sold it for a bowl of stew. Mothers can
sell their spiritual birthrights also by feeling that their only place
is in a kitchen cooking stew. You can be good housewives, but you also
have a divine heritage to minister in your own situation.

Your Mother, that marvelous creature, is always with you. She's the
whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street; she's the clean smell
in your freshly laundered clothes; she's the cool hand on your brow when
you're not well. Your Mother lives inside your laughter. And she's
crystallized in every tear drop. She's the place you came from, your
first home; and she's the map you follow with every step you take filled
with significant intuitive capabilities that lead to every success.
Filled with womanly charms, she's your first love and your first
heartbreak; she keeps on giving, even into old age teaching us to grow
in the LORD, and nothing on earth can separate you. . . not time, not
space. . . not even death!

Fathers, sons, and daughters, let us remember our mothers even as our
LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH did even in HIS dying breath upon the cross. No
greater earthly love besides our CREATOR LORD GOD can we experience than
that of our Mother's Love. The love of husbands and wives may waver;
brothers and sisters may become deep-rooted enemies, but a mothers love
is so strong and unyielding that it usually endures all circumstances,
good fortune and misfortune, prosperity and poverty, honor and disgrace.

There are five ethics I fervently want to share with my children who GOD
so graciously gave to me — there is ONE GOD, ONE PROVIDER. We each
have an opportunity to have a personal relationship with HIM; diligently
seek HIM. We need something more important than our own lives to live
for. It is better to give then to receive. Be a good mensch (Hebrew
meaning a person of basic human decency and consideration) ; be polite,
just and have a deep sense of respect and courteous to others. There is
no small goal or achievement, we live in the hands of the ALMIGHTY and
we need to live up to HIS standards. May we each pray sincerely that
our children realize these goals. Since GOD shares these goals, HE will
certainly help us succeed if we remain steadfast leading in these
principles and in prayer.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is that GOD, WHO separates the
holy from the secular, forgive our sins, guide our life and open our
mouth to declare HIS praises continually. May the ALL-PRESENT ONE fill
our upcoming week with HIS DIVINE PRESENCE that HE may be glorified, and
may some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout your week
days.

Happy Mothers Day!!! May you live to see your world fulfilled in
generations past and yet to be. May your heart be filled with
perception and your words be filled with insight. May songs of praise
ever be upon your tongue and your vision be on a straight path before
you. May your eyes shine with the light of holy words and your face
reflect the brightness of the heavens. May your lips ever speak wisdom
and your fulfillment be in righteousness even as you ever yearn to hear
the words of the HOLY ONE OF OLD.

Post  Admin on Sat 11 May 2013, 11:00 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
As if it were not sufficient enough that the SOVEREIGN MIGHTY GOD
answers prayer, HE always exceeds our expectations.

THE OMER
"On the day of the First Fruits, your Feast of Weeks, when you bring an
offering of new grain to the LORD, you shall observe a sacred occasion:
you shall not work at your occupations. " [Numbers (B'Midvar) 28. 26
Tanakh, Torah]

On the morning after the first day of Passover (the morning after the
Sabbath) the High Priest was commanded to bring a "sheaf (omer) of
firstfruits" and wave it "to and fro" in the Temple before the LORD GOD.
The Hebrew word for wave is newpah denoting a violent shaking.

Fifty days after the second morning of the Passover Feast, the Jewish
people were commanded to celebrate this Feast. A new offering was to be
brought to the LORD ALMIGHTY on that day and waved before HIM by the
High Priest. This offering consisted of "two wave loaves as a wave
offering; each shall be made of two-tenths of an ephah of choice flour,
baked after leavening, as firstfruits to YEHOWAH." [Leviticus (Vayikra)
23. 17 Tanakh, Torah]

The JEWISH MISHNA tells that the sheaf of barley harvest was marked out
by three men after the sunset on Nisan 14 which was the beginning of
Nisan 15. They cut down a sheaf and brought it to the Temple to lay it
before the LORD ETERNAL after they had dried it by fire. There it
rested on the Sabbath day and the "morrow after the Sabbath (the morning
hour is implied)" the priest would wave the sheaf before the HOLY ONE
and begin to count the days to Shavuoth/Pentecost.

If this is the case, we see the SHEAF cut down is YESHUA ha'MASHIACH,
the PROMISED REDEEMER WHO was cut down in human life in the field of
this world. The SHEAF laid up before the LORD GOD after the testing of
fire and resting in the Temple on the Sabbath is MESSIAH WHO, after
being cut down was prepared for burial and wHOSE body rested on the
Sabbath in the tomb. The SHEAF that was waved on high "to and fro"
before the LORD ALMIGHTY on the Sabbath is MESSIAH YESHUA WHO arose from
death on the first day of the week! JESUS is the FIRST-FRUITS of the
resurrection! [1 Corinthians 15. 23]

On the evening of the second day of Passover (early morning), three days
after the Passover Lamb was slain, when the priest violently shook the
single sheaf (omer) before GOD, there was an earthquake; by DIVINE POWER
the tomb which held the BODY of the PASSOVER LAMB (MESSIAH YESHUA) was
torn open! "On the morrow after the Sabbath" — even as the HOLY ONE
had been shown symbolically in the omer. . . JESUS, the PIERCED ONE
arose!

After the LORD JESUS' resurrection, HE remained forty days with HIS
disciples before ascendant into heaven. This testimony was established
by more than 500 Jews who lived in and around Jerusalem, who saw the
events that transpired and testified concerning them. [1 Corinthians 15.
6]

It was Fifty Days after the Passover Lamb of Exodus was slain and the
Israelites had crossed the Red Sea when the LORD manifested HIS power
and glory on Mount Sinai. [Exodus/Shemot 19. 16 - 18] Fifty days after
the TRUE PASSOVER LAMB was slain outside the gates of Jerusalem and had
risen from the dead when the HOLY SPIRIT manifested HIS POWER & GLORY.
[Acts 2. 1 - 4]

On the 50th Day after YESHUA ha'MASHIACH had been crucified as the TRUE
PASSOVER LAMB and had risen from the dead, GOD, the HOLY SPIRIT visited
a group of waiting disciples in the Upper Room. This was pre-figured in
HIS visitation with Moses on Mount Sinai fifty days after the lamb of
Egypt was slain and they left for the Promised Land! At Mount Sinai,
there was trembling of the mountain at the PRESENCE OF THE MIGHTY GOD.
In Jerusalem, fifty days after the LAMB OF GOD gave HIS life and had
wrested (torn) open the tomb, thunderings were heard; at Jerusalem there
was the sound of the rushing wind. At Sinai, GOD'S VoicE was heard by
Israel as a trumpet — "exceeding loud" — at Jerusalem, the notes
of the Gospel were heard through the disciples as they spoke with power
the wonderful works of CREATOR GOD.

On Shavuoth/Pentecost the priest waved two loves before the LORD.
Generally it was forbidden that leaven be brought with a sacrifice: "No
meal offering that you offer to the LORD shall be made with leaven...no
leaven may be turned into smoke as an offering by fire to the LORD."
[Leviticus (Vayikra) 2. 12 Tanakh, Torah] But on this occasion there
was a hidden meaning to the leaven. The OLD COVENANT saints wrote about
this great secret, looked into and inquired concerning its meaning.
From Genesis to Malachi (in the Tanakh, the order is from
Genesis/Bereshith thru 2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet) it lay hid, like
a golden thread, appearing in prophecy and prediction, in type, parable,
offerings, and feasts. But it never was fully known until the time of
Paul in the NEW COVENANT. [Ephesians 3. 1 - 6] The HOLY SPIRIT revealed
to this Jewish apostle that GOD'S eternal purpose was to take from both
Jews and Gentiles a people for HIS NAME, that they would be made a
joint-body in MESSIAH YESHUA.

Faith in the LORD JESUS makes every man equal in GOD'S sight. The Two
Loaves "baked with leaven" represent Jew & Gentile — the leaven, a
symbol of sin in them both. As the wave offering was lifted up to a
high plane, so the HOLY SPIRIT leads both Jew and Gentile to the holy
faith in the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA to the highest position near to the
very heart of ALMIGHTY GOD. Jews and Gentiles, fulfilling the (two
loaves baked with leaven) stand before the LORD GOD in MESSIAH YESHUA as
candidates for the promise of the HEAVENLY FATHER. Together we are
built for a habitation of GOD OMNIPOTENT through the SPIRIT. [Ephesians
2. 16 - 22] What a marvelous plan!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Welcome Sabbath Mevarchim, Sabbath of Blessing! May it be YOUR will that
the new month bring us a life of peace, a life of goodness, a life of
blessing, a life of health, and a life of prosperity in our LORD, YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH. Infinite as YOUR power, even so is YOUR love, O LORD
OF HOSTS. YOU led us into the way of righteousness and brought us to the
light of truth. Therefore, at our lying down and our rising up, we
meditate on YOUR TEACHINGS and at all times rejoice in YOUR Laws. In
them are true life and length of days. O that YOUR love may never depart
from our hearts. Praised are YOU, O LORD, WHO has made us YOUR people.
"Chag Sameyach — a joyous Shavuoth!" Celebrating the ALMIGHTY
ONE'S joyous Seasons of the Giving of the Law. We are greatly blessed
for the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE and blessed be HIS HOLY NAME, has
brought us out of slavery from Egypt (Passover) and took HIS people
directly to Mount Sinai. There HE gave us the Law (Shavuoth) to keep us
free from slavery (to sin). O MERCIFUL FATHER, make us gladly obedient
to YOUR commandments and fill our hearts with love and reverence for
YOU. In YOU alone we put our trust; we rejoice and delight in YOU, O
GOD of our salvation.
This is the 45th Day of the Omer

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.
