Counter intuitive

Mark 10:45 - For even the Son of man came not to be ministered
(served) unto, but to minister (serve), and to give his life a ransom
for many.

About 2 Sundays back someone came to our church and preached the
beautiful message on how the Bible is counter intuitive.

In today's message we read about the Lord came not to be served like
other gods. He did not come to receive like other gods do. The Lord
showed us by His coming as man and His life on earth as man that He
did not come to be served but came to serve. He came not to receive
but to give. He came not to judge but was judged by man.

When He said serve it was not about washing people's feet or doing
social serve; social service is an integral part of Christian life but
not the purpose.

Jesus said He came to give His life as a ransom for the lives of many.
I will not go into the constitution of life to explain this, how there
is there is difference between an Angel and man but yet in spirit they
both as identical. About the simple spirit being like us and complex
spirit beings like Cherubim. Even if any human being manage to be
perfect as Jesus did, suffers like Jesus did and dies like Jesus did
yet he would only save himself and no one else. But Jesus was God who
became man and His sacrifice was more than sufficient for all mankind,
counting the billions and trillions from Adam to the last being to be
born on earth, but only those who abide in the Covenant initiated with
Noah will be saved.

We are called to be His disciples and as disciples we follow the way
of life of our master and leader. That is the reason Jesus said those
who want to have life need to lose it like Him. We are not called to
die like Him but we are called not to desire the pleasures of life of
this world but to overcome them. To live a life void of pleasure and
live a life of needs. This sentence may not be agreeable to most
Christians for they have been taught something else about
Christianity. They have been taught Christianity is all about being
blessed and about receiving and receiving in abundance from the Lord.
They have not been told that as a Christian we are called more to give
and give. This giving is not like religions like Jainism, Buddhism or
some other religions which promote life of penance and solitude.
People who do this are not Christians for they do not know the Christ
or His sacrifice.

A Christian is called to give with purpose and understanding that is
why he is given the Spirit of Truth and blessed with wisdom. He is
called to have fellowship to be united with his brethren becoming one
in Christ in mind and purpose. We are called to loose things here on
earth and empty ourselves here so that we receive the greater things
that await us in Heaven and be filled with them.

The race of a Christian is not like races of the world where the goal
is to come first. The race of a Christian is all about winning, not
just winning but getting more and more to win along with us. It is all
about crossing the river Jordan [means descender] which symbolized
being sons of God. Without us overcoming and becoming sons of God with
the help of Jesus Christ [including Jesus and the Holy Spirit] and
each other who become His vessels, none of us will go to Heaven.

Jesus said 'it is finished' on the cross for He knows the success,
that we will indeed crossover but now it is up to us as to how many
will we take across with us.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, Adam and Eve brought in corruption to our souls by their want of
things not of the Spirit. Lord, by your coming as man You showed us
that we need to be counter intuitive to this world and its
understanding, for this world is corrupted by the nature of Adam. You
showed us to receive, first we need to give and to have life we need
to lose it. Lord, teach us to be real Christians, we call ourselves
Christians but are far from living our lives as a Christian...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Mark 10:42-44
42 But Jesus called them to him, and saith unto them, Ye know that
they which are accounted to rule over the Gentiles exercise lordship
over them; and their great ones exercise authority upon them.
43 But so shall it not be among you: but whosoever will be great
among you, shall be your minister:
44 And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all.

Matthew 10:32-39
32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I
confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny
before my Father which is in heaven.
34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to
send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the
daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her
mother in law.
36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me:
and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not
worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his
life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 16:24-27
24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will
lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and
lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his
angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Walking into our tornado

Genesis 37:16 - And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee,
where they feed their flocks.

Yesterday a sister called me; she had got in touch with me about 6
months back. Her mother was serious and had to undergo a major
operation. The operation had gone successfully and she recovered
miraculously fast. Shortly after that she spoke to me about her
marriage and that she was getting married to an unbeliever who was
also a divorcee. There was no problem with the man being a divorcee
but the problem was with him being an unbeliever and she was yet to be
baptized fully in Jesus Christ, for she had not yet surrendered to the
Lord. I knew from the Lord that she was not to get married to him so
tried to meet them and council them out of it. But them the man was
very smart and at 2 occasions changed plans and did not let the
meeting happen. He insisted on meeting me after marriage. They did a
civil marriage and after 6 months she called me to tell me all the
disasters that happened in their relationship. Thing got so bad that
the husband got her arrested and put behind bars for a period. She was
telling me that the Lord had got them married so He will take her
through this relationship.

From day one I had advised she against it for it was not the Lord's
desire that she marries him. The marriage was her personal choice. She
walked herself into her tornado and now blames the Lord for it.

In today's message we read about Joseph who led a good life of favour
of his father Jacob, was walking into his tornado that day. For from
that day onwards his life was going to change completely. No doubt
great things happened at the end but the disasters that led the good
ending almost crushed him at many occasions.

Some may say if it was not for his going there Israel would not have
been saved from the famine, and all that the Bible says later would
not have been happened. That is true. But just think of it had he not
gone there that day would not have God been able to yet save Israel
from the famine? He is God of the impossible; He is omnipotent and all
knowing.

God gives us choices in life and lets us chose. Our chose leads us to
our experiences in life. It is from our experience that our testimony
in the Lord is made. God is all knowing for He not only knows our
presents and knows our past but since He dwells in the future He knows
our life ahead also. When He chose us it was not because of our
present but it is because of our future. For many among us in our
present state is so bad that His anger would consume us instantly but
since He sees the finish job in us He takes pleasure in us. He allows
us to walk into our tornado, to be lifted of our stable ground,
twirled around, pulled into the darkness of the eye of the tornado and
be throw away from our present way of life.

This choice of Joseph to walk into his tornado not only changed him
but also changed the lives of the people around him. This testimony
even today changes people's lives.

I always tell people we have 2 choices as God's children, one to study
His Word have relationship with Him and walk the easy way in life to
our goal or else by our understanding walk into our tornado, have
experience teach us about God and let our helplessness build our
relationship with Him to then reach us to our goal.

We will surely reach our goal by either one of the routes we take, for
the end result of the story is already written. Remember the Book of
Life already has the names of those who will enter Heaven. It is only
the route that we take to the finish that we decide, the easy or the
hard way - God's way or our way.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, when You created all things You already knew what your creation
would do. It did pain You but what You saw the end it pleased You.
Therefore You became our sacrifice from the foundation of creation.
Lord, even before we were placed in the womb of our mothers You knew
us. You knew our every thought and deed and yet You said You love us.
We know Lord You will finish your work in us and we will reach our
goal in You. But Lord we pray that we do not walk into tornadoes by
desiring our will, by walking according to our understanding. Lord, by
your Spirit guide us and by your Word open our minds that we may do
greater as we reach our goal...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Proverbs 8:8-9
8 All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing
froward or perverse in them.
9 They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them

Deuteronomy 30:18-20
18 I denounce unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish, and
that ye shall not prolong your days upon the land, whither thou
passest over Jordan to go to possess it.
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I
have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore
choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey
his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life,
and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which
the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob,
to give them.

Exodus 32:
31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have
sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
32 Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I
pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me,
him will I blot out [actually the Hebrew verb is in past tense - Qal]
of my book.
34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have
spoken unto thee: behold, mine Angel shall go before thee:
nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white
raiment; and I will not blot out [the Greek word translated a 'blot
out' is made of 2 words and implies to remove His anointing] his name
out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father,
and before his angels.

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from
the foundation of the world.

Revelation 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall
ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that
dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the
book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the
beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Be rooted before you start to lead

1 Timothy 3:6 - Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall
into the condemnation of the devil.

There are people who believe in pushing people into the water to teach
them to swim. They consider it a waste of time to tell then the basics
of swimming and movements.

There was a man of great faith who also believed in encouraging people
who had just come into the Lord to lay hands, to do deliverance of
people troubled by spirits and to stand and preach to others. This did
do wonders in the start but then most of these people were on shaky
grounds. As far as healing and deliverance was concern it was good but
then those who were put to preach very few remained in the Kingdom of
God others preached about God but as the worldly kingdom. He did this
because he himself did not have someone to guide him. He claimed the
Holy Spirit was leading him but he did not give the Holy Spirit time
to work in him. What happened to him is what happened to many others,
he too was taken into deceit himself.

We all read Acts 9 about Saul and his becoming Paul later. People
assume it happened in a few day or max months, they do not realize the
period between Saul becoming Paul took nearly 8 years.

If we read in the initial days of the Church the Apostles put new
people even though they were full of anointing to serve the people,
like serving tables and social work. They did not just make anyone
stand before people to preach or to lead people.

Some translations translate the Greek word 'neophutos' translated as
'novice' also as 'recent convert'. The word actually means 'newly
planted'.

The Lord is saying we need to be rooted in Him before we start to lead
others. We can help others but we need to take help from well rooted
people to grow. It is foolishness to think today I came to know the
love of Jesus, received His Spirit and tomorrow I am going to go out
and proclaim to the whole world about Jesus and start a Church.

When I was born-again (started) in the Lord, the Lord did not let me
go out to preach for more than 1 year. I sat with Him on a day to day
basis learning from Him and building my relationship with Him. Today I
may preach the Gospel and guide others but yet I cannot boast of being
ready for yet I know the Lord is working in me to set me to my next
stage of spiritual work in Him. Although He told me what I am to do in
Him, yet I know He has His work to finish in me before I do His plan.

We need to give time to the Lord to work in us and build us. We cannot
take the risk of someone else's life on our hands. Like a surgeon we
need to not only have the knowledge but also grow in skill to do the
saving of lives.

For God all things are possible but yet He gave nearly 2 thousand
years to change and become like His Son, even though He gave us His
Spirit. The very same Spirit Who created all things in a moment takes
time to recreate us from within. If the world is so beautiful then
imagine the great beauty He is creating in us that is causing Him to
take time.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You created all things by your Word. All things are set
according to your plan and You are in charge and in control of it.
Lord, teach us patience to trust in You and your timing. You know how
delicate we are and how easy it is for us to break so You take time
and care to build us according to your purpose in us. Lord, we pray
the leaders of the congregations guide your people rightly and guide
them not according to their wisdom and plans but according to your
wisdom and plan...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 5:1-8
1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied,
there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because
their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.
2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them,
and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and
serve tables.
3 Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest
report, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom, whom we may appoint over
this business.
4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the
ministry of the word.
5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen,
a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Philip, and Prochorus,
and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of
Antioch:
6 Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they
laid their hands on them.
7 And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples
multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests
were obedient to the faith.
8 And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and
miracles among the people.

To MountZion - Page 23 Empty Re: To MountZion

There is no King in the Church

Judges 21:25 - In those days there was no king in Israel: every man
did that which was right in his own eyes.

When Believer Churches were formed, there were various Churches.
Having various churches is not wrong. If we look at the book of Acts
during the time of the Apostles we see Churches were segregated
according to regions and they worked independently. We see some of the
Churches which Paul was instrument in building were also administered
by local bodies and the only hold Paul had over them was spiritual and
not administrative. But one thing that united all of them was Christ
and their purpose in the Kingdom of God. The Churches had a King and
Christ was their King.

Later the Nicolaitan principle was inducted into the Church and the
Churches were unified as one entity calling themselves a ‘universal
Church’ but this unification was not a spiritual unification but a
administrative unification, Christ as King became just a namesake and
man became king, like it happened during the times of Samuel.

It was the Nicolaitan’s ideology which engulfed this unified church
around the late third century which bought in things like idol
worship, carnivals (love-feast) and made sons of Bosor (carnality).
Spirituality was replaced with legalism.

Today we see there are hundreds of Churches and they all claim to be
followers of Christ. Unless this Christ they claim to follow is many
and different, they should not be having differences of understanding
between them.

The Lord is telling us in today’s message that each of the Churches is
doing according to their own understanding and the Lord has nothing to
do with their understanding. They may claim to be led by God but are
led by their human mind.

God’s Spirit is one and the purpose of the Kingdom of God is one like
God is one. We may have different roles to play like the Father, Son
and Spirit do in the Godhead. But yet we do not read of any
misunderstanding between them in scriptures. What unites them is their
Spirit and their Character (Name). Since their Character is same their
thoughts too are same.

Today the parts of the Body of Christ are scattered all over and each
part thinks to be a whole body. They compete with each other and spite
each other. Adam’ nature and Satan no longer is their enemy but the
‘other’ church has taken the position of enemy no. 1.

It is a shame to call ourselves Christians and claim to be led by the
Spirit of God if we cannot live together as one. How are we going to
be an example to others outside when we are bad examples to each other
inside?

When we say Christ is our King, it is not by a nameplate put up
outside the Church, but it is by the character of the people of the
congregation and the purpose of them as a unified body. The only way
we can be one and claim to be have Christ as our King is when we
imitate Him and be led by His purpose.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we pray for the Body of Christ. Lord we pray we come unified as
one body led by one spirit - your Spirit. We pray Lord that your
people pursue your Nature and not their thinking. Let them be led by
your purpose and experience your glory...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
1 Samuel 8:10-20
10 And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that
asked of him a king.
11 And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign
over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for
his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his
chariots.
12 And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over
fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest,
and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.
13 And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be
cooks, and to be bakers.
14 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your
oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards,
and give to his officers, and to his servants.
16 And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your
goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.
17 He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.
18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye
shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.
19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and
they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;
20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may
judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.

1 Samuel 10:17-19
17 And Samuel called the people together unto the LORD to Mizpeh;
18 And said unto the children of Israel, Thus saith the LORD God of
Israel, I brought up Israel out of Egypt, and delivered you out of the
hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of all kingdoms, and of
them that oppressed you:
19 And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out
of all your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto
him, Nay, but set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves
before the LORD by your tribes, and by your thousands.

Revelation 2:12-16
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things
saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat
is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even
in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain
among you, where Satan dwelleth.
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them
that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a
stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed
unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans,
which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight
against them with the sword of my mouth.

1 Corinthians 10:17 For we being many are one bread, and one body:
for we are all partakers of that one bread.

1 Corinthians 12:12-27
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members
of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be
Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made
to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.
15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the
body; is it therefore not of the body?
16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of
the body; is it therefore not of the body?
17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the
whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as
it hath pleased him.
19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.
21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor
again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more
feeble, are necessary:
23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less
honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; and our
uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness.
24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body
together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:
25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members
should have the same care one for another.
26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or
one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

The Lord is going to punish people of 'No'

Jeremiah 46:25 - The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold,
I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their
gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and them that trust in him:

(I was given this message 2 days back but since I was not very clear
on it I asked the Lord to confirm it with a sign to remove the
confusion therefore had to wait and rewrite the message)

'No' was a city also referred as Thebes. It was built across the river
Nile with half on one bank of the river Nile and the other half on the
other side. Another unique feature of this city was it had hundreds of
gates.

A long time back I was just discussing with an unbeliever about how
things are going to change in the future and how some religions are
growing rapidly. He was a Hindu and at the end the sentence I made
took him by shook. I told him in the future he will have no option but
to convert to either a Muslim or a Christian, his religion has nothing
in it to hold him on for long.

The Lord is saying that soon He is going to change things in the
world. There are many who dwell in 'No' and have many gods or are
living in denial of the Creator and the Lord is going to remove them
out from there. But the sad part is most of them will be delivered
into confusion. They will not come to Him or to the Truth but will be
prey to deception. They will join another religion and think they have
come to know God, religions like Islam, Catholicism and Judaism; or
even Christian sects who are more of prosperity worshipers and not
true followers of Jesus.

Since the Kingdom of God is progressing, soon Satan will also
consolidate his followers. There will be fewer main stream religions
and the Lord is letting this happen so that things would accelerate
towards what is written about the fall of Babylon the Great.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord we pray for all your sheep that are deceived by this World.
People do not know You because your people are deprived of the Truth
and do not see your glory. Lord, we pray your sheep hear your voice
and come to You and are not consumed in the grinding that is about to
take place. That they do not be party to the fornication of Jezebel or
of the prophet of the desert and receive their punishment.. .

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Jeremiah 46:25-26
25 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saith; Behold, I will punish
the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and
their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:
26 And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their
lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into
the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in
the days of old, saith the LORD.

Mark 3:24-26
24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot
stand, but has an end.

Matthew 24:26-27
26 Why if they shall say to you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not
forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even to the
west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Revelation 16:18-19
18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightning; and there was
a great earthquake, such as was not since men were on the earth, so
mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of
the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to
give to her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Abuse not our power in the Gospel

1 Corinthians 9:17-18
17 For if I do this thing willingly [voluntary], I have a reward: but
if against my will, a dispensation [stewardship] is committed
[credited] unto me.
18 What is my reward then? That, when I preach the gospel, I may make
the gospel of Christ without charge [costing nothing], that I abuse
not my power in the gospel.

I have seen whenever some incident disturbs me the very next day the
Lord has a message for me. Yesterday some characters who have made
Jesus Christ an external lifestyle but are void of His Word and His
understanding disturbed me. They are more of religious people who
practice a religion called Christianity. When they read a message they
do not look at what is there in the message which can bless them but
try to look if they can find any faults. They turn a blind eye to the
most parts of the message but will remove a part of it, out of its
context, which they find can be used for their misuse and try to put
people down. They may ask questions not to hear an answer for they
already have an answer which they want you to listen and abide by.
They will not attack people who give a different Gospel but people who
make an attempt to give the true Gospel, they will not spare.

Also yesterday as I was fellowshipping with a few bothers we were
disappointed at hearing a great Man of God whom we respected very much
had told poor village people during 'collection of offering' if they
do not have money, to put even their gold jewellery into the 'offering
bag'. A year before we heard of him pulling up a music evangelist for
not going on the stage at the last minute because the organizers had
not made a good contribution to him. Today sadly he has become one of
them.

The Lord is asking us, what is the purpose of our going out and
preaching the Gospel? Are we doing it voluntarily? Is our going out to
give the Gospel more out of completion or are we doing it out of
desire to save people? If we are doing it to benefit us materially,
if so, then we have no reward in Heaven for us.

The Lord is telling us we will have to pay a price to truly give the
Gospel to His people and to bring His people to Him. We need to
remember we are working in Christ and Christ paid a great price. We
are not called to pay a price like Christ but being part of Him we too
are called to pay a price so that we too may receive a great reward in
Heaven.

Did Jesus not know people need to tithe or give an 'offering'? Did He
ever ask people to donate to His work? But we see people willing gave
His ministry to which He did not say no, He accepted it and this was
put in their money bag. But at no time did Jesus and His team rely on
the money bag, to the extent the charge of the bag was given to Judas.

Jesus too faced resistance as He preached from place to place. The
Pharisees and other people like the Jewish priest followed Him not to
hear Him but to trap Him by what He spoke and to bring Him down. The
Lord is telling us if we are in Him we too will experience this for
the world hated Him first and since we are in Him we too will be hated
by people of this world.

Let us be focused on the purpose of our giving the Gospel and let our
reward not be an earthly reward of fame, worldly power or money.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we pray those who are truly working in your Vineyard may not
tire. That they may be focused on the purpose of giving the Gospel,
let them always remember it is all about saving people. Let their
reward not be things of the world, thing that perish. But let their
reward be a heavenly reward that is beyond all the riches of the world
put together...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
1 Corinthians 9:16-19
16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for
necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the
gospel!
17 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against
my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.
18 What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I
may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my
power in the gospel.
19 For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant
unto all, that I might gain the more.

Hebrew 11:24-26
24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called
the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than
to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures
in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

Mark 6:35-37
35 And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him,
and said, The place is desert, and the day is now far spent;
36 send them away, that they may go into the country and villages
round about, and buy themselves somewhat to eat.
37 But he answered and said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they
say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred shillings' worth of
bread, and give them to eat?

John 13:29 - For some thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus
said unto him, Buy what things we have need of for the feast; or, that
he should give something to the poor.

Forgive seventy times seven

Matthew 18:21 - Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall
my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

This question by Peter is not something which Peter alone had on his
mind; this question is almost on everyone's mind, one moment or other.

When Peter asked Jesus if he should forgive seven times, Jesus
answered with seventy times seven, they were not talking of the actual
times (although Peter at that moment may have not known). When Jesus
answered He did not tell him how many times but how to.

In the Bible the number seven is commonly used and has a very special
place because it is connected to the spirit. God's Spirit is
symbolized in the Tabernacle by the candlestick with the seven
branches. Isaiah goes on to name the seven Spirits of the Lord in
Isaiah 11:2.

God's Spirit is one but when The Son humbled Himself so also did the
Spirit of God because He being God and Holy, and in His former glory
man would not be able to receive Him nor also come before Him, for He
is part of the God the Son as much as He is part of the Father God.

The Lord had taught me how His image is in the physical body of man in
the external and internal design and how one can know God by
understanding man. The Lord also taught me about the soul or inner-man
and how it too has a form as given in the Word. I have been taught
some things about the spirit of man but that is hardly anything and
have to learn a lot in that area. But I am very sure like God's Spirit
human spirit too has a design; for God's Spirit although written as
breathe is a being by Himself.

When Peter said should we forgive will all our spirit Jesus opened a
great understanding with His answer seventy time seven.

Understand if I write something in a book and I shut that book does it
mean the writing does not exist? When I do not see it over long period
I may even forget it exist but one day when I open that book and come
to that page I will see what I have written and remember the events
connected to it.

Our heart (mind) is like a notebook and what we hear, see, smell,
touch or things that happen in our life are written in on this book
(also what we speak and do are also written in the records of our
hearts). We may not keep those pages open but some time in our lives
we suddenly come to those pages and relive or revive them. Man does
not have the eraser to erase what is written in this book. When man
forgives he just turns the page and assumes it does not exist. Man
does not have the ability to really forgive. Since God alone has the
eraser, so man has to use God's help to get what is written in his
heart to be erased.

When Jesus told Peter seventy times seven, He told Peter not by your
spirit but by the Spirit of God should one forgive. That is why Jesus
gave us the authority to forgive only after He gave us His Spirit.

When we forgive another let us not turn the page and say we have
forgiven. Let us learn to pray for that person and ask the Lord's
forgiveness for that person for He alone has the eraser that can truly
erase what is written. When we do this then we will never revive that
which has passed and be affected by it.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, ever since man has been trapped in this flesh due to sin there
is hardly much man can do in spirit. Therefore Lord You gave us your
Spirit so that by your Spirit the spirit-man may be set free from the
flesh hold. Lord, help us not to just superficially forgive people by
vain words or by turning the pages in our heart, but Lord teach us to
pray for the person and using the help of your Spirit truly forgive
people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

All things are done in parables

Mark 4:11 - And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the
mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all
things are done in parables [means using symbolism]:

Every person who opens the Bible and reads the New Testament will say
it is an excellent book. They will also say Jesus was an excellent
teacher, great man and many other good things. Mahatma Gandhi also
said the same thing. He went to the extent to state if only Christians
followed the Bible.

Even among people who call themselves Christians hardly understand the
Bible well. There are very few who will tell you that there is not
much difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament
leaving for implementation of the improvements in the covenant between
God and man.

Do people really understand the Bible? No and Yes.

In today's message the Lord is reminding us His word as stated in Mark
4:11 - to all people the things of the Kingdom of God is like parables
(spoken using symbolism) but to only those who are of Him are given to
know the mysteries of the Kingdom of God.

Did those who were seated before Jesus have the ability to know of the
mysteries of the Kingdom of God? No, none of them did. Then was Jesus
lying about them having that ability? No. for later a few from them
did receive the ability to understand the mysteries.

One needs to understand some basic factors in the Bible.

It is only the Spirit of God - the Spirit of Truth Who reveals the
mysteries of the Kingdom of God. This revelation we can share with
each other but then too those who are blessed with wisdom and have a
heart that surrenders to God will really understand them.

Secondly in most places the Lord speaks not only to those present at
that time but to all people across centuries therefore the grammatical
tenses used in many place are tenses like aoristic, present perfect
(across time) etc. many a times even before the actual event took
place the word was given as done.

We need to understand God works not in time like us. He dwells across
time - past, present and future at the same time. Time is not a factor
that binds Him, thus when He speaks and the things He does it is
across time (I explained in my previous message about time). It is
only our not abiding by the conditions that does not let us receive of
the things spoken by Him. Paul about 160 times uses the word 'now' in
his letters but this now will be according to our time only when we
abide into the conditions and connect into His time (flow of events).

We see even the 11 closest students of Jesus really knew Him only
after they surrendered to the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. They had
received the Spirit of God when Jesus breath into them before
ascending to the Father.

It is only when one understands this and the role the Lord played in
the Old Testament before He came as man Jesus, will one understand how
the Men and Women of God were saved from Hell even before the
sacrifice was actually performed.

In John 3:13 Jesus confirms none ascended to Heaven these included
Abraham, David, Moses, Elijah and others before that time yet we see
Jesus speaks to the spirits of Moses and Elijah later. God had forbid
man with the sin nature (of Adam) not to communicate with the sleeping
spirits of man therefore when Saul spoke to Samuel's spirit he was
punished but Jesus who was without sin was not. Jesus confirmed His
sin-less-ness by his ability to transfigure. The only spirit we can
communicate with is the Holy Spirit because He is God and no other
spirit of any man / woman can we communicate (Jesus was raised in the
flesh therefore He is not just a spirit being and thus yet also
referred as Son of Man).

For those who are asleep will be raised up when Jesus comes and for
them it will seem just a moment from them going to sleep and being
raised (there are much more things that happen in these spiritual rem
which will baffle human mind but since man is restricted by worldly
principles and worldly knowledge thus cannot understand them).

The Lord is telling us unless we surrender to His Spirit the Bible
will be a parable to us. We will learn some things from it but will
not understand the Truth; the purpose of it will not bear fruit in our
lives. But when we surrender to the Holy Spirit, He will unfold
scriptures to us and give us understanding of it unlike ever done. We
need not have great qualification or educational to learn from Him
(there are people who do not know to read or write but can read and
understand the Word of God).

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, when You created us You also made all things needed for us
available right from the beginning. You knew man would sin and lose
the Truth, therefore You made a Sacrifice available from the start. By
the sacrifice You made available your Spirit to man, to unfold your
Word - your instructions for the salvation of man by the Truth coming
back into man. Lord, we pray the Bible does be a good book for us but
be words of life. Holy Spirit, make our bellies flow out rivers of
Living Word and its understanding unto those who are yours...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
John 20:21-22
21 Jesus therefore said to them again, Peace be unto you: as the
Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto
them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit:

John 14:26 But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father
will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your
remembrance all that I said unto you.

John 3:13 - And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came
down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

To MountZion - Page 23 Empty Re: To MountZion

Post  Admin on Thu 07 Jun 2012, 10:17 am

When do we go to Heaven?

Luke 23:43 - And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day
shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Yesterday we received a message which bought our attention to the way
scriptures were distorted to mislead people. In today's message the
Lord gives us another example which the early church (RC church)
distorted to influence their misleading of the masses.

The Bible is very clear right from Genesis to Revelation about death
and where we go after death. But this one scripture which was
mistranslated on purpose leads people to assume when we die we go to
heaven. This was done to support Mary's assumption and her being made
'Queen of Heaven'.

We read in the Old Testament all Men of God when they died; it is
written they were gathered unto their fathers / people. Samuel a great
Man of God when his spirit spoke to Saul, he said he was asleep and
not in Heaven. Even in the New Testament after Stephen dies as a
martyr yet it is written he slept.

In today's message the original scripture is very clear and Jesus said
this to the man who was forgiven because of his faith in Him. Jesus
said 'Verily I say unto thee, semeron (in Greek) shalt thou be with me
in paradise'.

The word 'semeron' is assumed to be 'today' or 'this day', its true
meaning is 'on the day'. If one looks at the scripture before as to
what the man was telling about Jesus one will know why he was
forgiven. He acknowledged Jesus as Saviour, Lord and King, Who becomes
a sacrifice without blemish, overcomes death and would come again to
receive His Kingdom. Jesus in turn said to him on the day when He
comes to receive His Kingdom, on that day the man would be with Him in
Paradise.

We all will be entering Paradise together including that man. No one
has gone to Heaven other than Jesus because He was perfect as man; He
had the Truth in Him and was Righteous.

Without the whole Truth in us we will not be able to receive the
Righteousness of the Son. That is why Jesus is waiting for the perfect
time when man has the complete understanding of scripture in him. The
only way to have Jesus come soon is have the Truth sooner in us by the
working of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of Truth reveals the scriptures
to us and by our work and testimonies in the Lord we passed on this
Truth (part we have received) to others so that one day the complete
would be known in man and we all will be saved. This is what Jesus
meant by our carrying of the CROSS the same was symbolized by the Ark
of Covenant which held the Law (Ten Commandments) , Testimony (pot of
Manna) and God's selection (Aaron's budded staff).

The Bible clearly states those who do not believe in the Lord Jesus
Christ go to Hell which is a prison where they remain till the rest of
their spirit life (which is a few thousand years). In Hell the sins
within them burn and are also described as eternal living worms eating
into them. Those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ are saved from
Hell by His resurrection and break of the curse, thus they go to sleep
in a spiritual place which is called Grave (Jesus called it the bosom
of Abraham and in Revelation John uses the term 'Death' for it).

The Catholic Church who was void of understanding of scriptures, to
cover up their mistakes and assumptions created a place called
Purgatory. This creation is not old but just a few years back when
they had their backs against the wall as they were questioned. This is
the same time Mary was made 'Mother of God'. According to the Catholic
Church this place is a place where a Christian goes to pay for the
sins they committed by bearing torture or doing work there, thus
making the sacrifice of Jesus void.

Their trickery can be caught by the fact that the Pope gave letters of
pardon from Purgatory to those who donated large sums to the building
of St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, thus making him greater than
Jesus Christ and his letter more powerful than the Blood of Jesus
(this caused Dr. Luther King who to speak against the Catholic Church
and start the 'Protestant movement' 1517).

Every person including those in the Old Testament put it very clear
that, all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ will be judged by the
Word and only those who have the Word (keep the Father's Word) will
enter Heaven to be part of the Body of the glorious Son (the wedding).

Our work in the Lord is all about adding more and more to those who
will enter Heaven and most important is that the Truth is preached
generation to generation so that one day man may have the whole Truth
in them and by their testifying the Truth we enter Heaven.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, the deceiver tries to deceive your people by distorting the
Truth. Satan uses those who are not rooted in your Word and makes them
his instrument to destroy others. He does want us to receive what he
lost and more. Lord, we pray people receive the Truth and not be
misled that they walk in one understanding, with one mind...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 23:40-43
40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear
God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?
41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds:
but this man hath done nothing amiss.
42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into
thy kingdom.
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, on that day shalt
thou be with me in paradise.

1 Corinthians 15:16-20
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
18 Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men
most miserable.
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, become the firstfruits of
them that slept [sleep].

John 11:11-13
11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our
friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had
spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

Acts 13:36-37
36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of
God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

Acts 7:59-60
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus,
receive my spirit.
60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not
this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them
which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no
hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent
them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with
the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we
ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Revelation 20:11-15
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written
in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire.

1 Corinthians 15:50-57
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal
must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.

Serving the Lord and offering Him fat and blood

Ezekiel 44:15 - But the priests, the Levites [Leviyiy instead of Leviy
which is translated as Levi which means jointed to], the sons of Zadok
[means righteous], that kept the charge of my sanctuary when the
children of Israel went astray from me, they shall come near to me to
minister [serve] unto me, and they shall stand before me to offer unto
me the fat and the blood, saith the Lord GOD:

In today’s scripture the Lord says He has called 3 categories of
people to minister (serve) before Him and the 3 categories are the
priest, the Levites and the sons of Zadok. Some translations have
connected the first category to the second because it was the Levi who
did the priestly duties.

The Hebrew word ‘kohen’ translated as priest does not necessary
implies one who is called to do the duties of the sanctuary it is also
translated as own (2), chief ruler (2), officer (1), princes(1). The
word was first used for Melchizedek who was really a king. This term
was also used people who dedicated themselves to the service of idols
or pagan gods. Thus people whom the Lord calls kohen or priest are
people who principally served serve Him or represent Him or have made
Him their King. Therefore in Christ we all are called to a royal
priesthood.

The Hebrew word written here is Leviyiy and not Leviy (Levi) which
means jointed to. The term Levites was used for the sons of Levi (the
Patriarch) whom the Lord separated unto Himself. They were not given
any land (worldly procession) as inheritance but yet received from
those given (the Levis dwelled on the skirts / suburbs of the land of
the others). Although a tribe they were not counted in the 12 and
represented people whom the Lord had saved unto Him by a substitute
sacrifice when all the first-borns of Israel were to be killed for
their sinful ways. All who are saved in Christ are like a Levi saved
by a substitute sacrifice, but we are not called to serve God in the
traditions of the Levites who followed the Law of Moses, but to serve
Him like Melchizedek did in Christ.

Sons of righteousness refer to those who follow the path of
righteousness. They are not righteous since the righteousness of man
is like rags but these are those who imitate Christ the Righteous One.
Like the features of the father are seen in his son so also, in those
who are called sons of righteous Christ can be seen.

These 3 categories of people are called to serve God. What is interest
and important in today’s message is what they are called to offer the
Lord in their service.

The 2 things they are called to serve are the fat and the blood.
People who eat Pork would know the tasty part of eating pork is eating
the meat with the fat. Since ages fat is an delicacy in many
countries.

If one scientifically looks at fat, they are the extra that our body
consumes which are stored as reserves for later use. But when a person
keeps on consuming extra these reserves keep on increasing thus
leading to obesity.

Blood symbolically represents righteousness. When Adam and Eve sinned
they lost the righteousness that covered them and thus felt naked. It
was the Lord who made a blood sacrifice to cover their nakedness and
save them from His wrath. The Blood sacrifice of Christ was made to
cover our sins and save us from the wrath of the Father eternally. It
is His Righteousness that saves us by being a covering over us. Our
blood sacrifice is the righteous life we live in Christ.

The Lord is telling us these 3 categories of people those who serve
His Kingdom, those saved by His sacrifice and those who follow His
righteousness are before Him and asked to serve Him. The 2 things
which they are called to serve are the extras which the Lord has given
them and the righteous life we live in Christ.

Tithing is just the start or the baby steps of being a Christian. A
spiritually mature Christian does not tithe but offers the fat (extra
or overflow) to the Lord. He or she also lives a life of righteousness
which he or she offers to the Lord as a sacrifice. When we study a
grape vine we see these two aspects in it and therefore Jesus calls us
to be part of the grape vine to be grafted in Him.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You have called us to live a worldly life that is not lost in
pleasures and desires of things of this world. You have asked of us to
be sober in our carnal nature controlling our inner man that was born
in Adam and overcoming it by our being born-again and grafted in
Christ the Vine. Lord, help us live a life that exhibits Christ. Lord,
You do not desire money or things from us but yet ask them of us, they
are what You have given us but yet You desire it from us, because You
want us to overcome the sin nature in us. Help us Lord to overcome
greed which brought down the greatly anointed Lucifer...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Hebrews 7:11 - If therefore perfection were by the Levitical
priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further
need was there that another priest should rise after the order of
Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an
holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises
of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

John 15:1-7
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.
2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every
branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more
fruit.
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of
itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide
in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in
him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do
nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is
withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they
are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye
will, and it shall be done unto you.

Lies about Jesus and Mary

Luke 3:23 - And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age,
being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was [the son] of
Heli,

William Tyndale (1492 - 1536) was a great Bible scholar who was the
first one to translate the Bible into English for the people to have
access to the Holy Scriptures but this was not liked by the Roman
Catholic Church and they murdered him by beheading him. William
Tyndale's translation became the foundation for the King James Version
and caused the Protestant movement when people got access to
scriptures and realized there was a great difference between what the
Catholic Church was doing and what the scriptures stated.

The RC church did not easily let go of its evil intentions, it
manipulated some parts of the translation even in the KJV that are
even today carried on without realization.

I quoted today's message from the KJV-AV (Authorized Version) which is
used for Bible Study and below I quote the NKJV and also the RSV (the
translation officiated by the RC church).

NKJV: Luke 3:23 - Now Jesus Himself began His ministry at about thirty
years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, the son of
Heli,

RSV: Luke 3:23 - Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty
years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of
Heli,

If we read the actual scripture it speaks of Jesus being of 30years
when He was baptized by John in the river Jordan. But the RC church
changed the text to state Jesus started His ministry at the age of 30.
If one looks at scriptures itself in John when Jesus was attending the
wedding along with Him was His mother also His disciples. Without Him
starting His ministry how could He have had disciples?

Also historic records of Jesus trace Jesus' ministry activities to
almost 6 to 7 years. Jesus being a true Jew had to dedicate Himself to
the work of the Temple / work of Israel (God's people) at the age of
21 to fulfil scriptures of Moses which He did and claimed with His own
mouth.

Jesus born a normal human being studied scriptures like we do today.
The only difference between Jesus and us is that He was born without
sin and that the Holy Spirit was full in Him. This same comes to us
but in gradual process. We become without sin as we are born again and
as we receive more and more of His Spirit as we grow in Him.

Being born again is a gradual process. People state 'I was born again
on this / that year'. No one can give a date or time to being born
again for being born again is a process they can only state when the
process started and Jesus explained the process well with the process
of renewing the wine (grape juice) leather bottle. We should also
understand although the Holy Spirit is one yet there are 7 spirits of
the Holy Spirit (Candle Stand) and we start by receiving a token of
the Spirit of Truth.

Another lie which the RC Church played and has caused Satan the Beast
to take control of its entire congregation is the many lies of Mary
who was the mother of the man Jesus.

Luke here recorded the genealogy of Mary unlike in Matthew the
genealogy of Joseph is recorded. Both came from David to fulfil
scriptures. The words 'the son' in KJV (AV) is in Italics meaning it
is added to scriptures for easy reading purpose. The father of Joseph
was Jacob (not the Patriarch) as stated in Matthew. Luke states Heli
who was Joseph's father-in-law and by marriage became (like) his son.
Heli was the father of Mary and the Catholic Church states some other
characters as the parents of Mary. They do this because of the spirit
which comes claiming she is Mary the mother of Jesus and claims her
parents as Joaquim and Ann. If one compares the words of this spirit
with scriptures one will realize she (it) speaks against God even
though it looks like leading people to God it is actually take people
away from God.

Jesus was born to Mary before the marriage between Mary and Joseph
while she was yet a virgin not only in body also in marriage status.
One should note according to old Jewish traditions marriage starts
with the engagement which is noted as the only official records and
was legal binding. Breaking an engagement was like a divorce therefore
Joseph was worried when he came to know about Mary being with a child.

According to Jewish marriage and marriage in general (even today) a
man and woman become husband and wife only when they come together /
come to know each other / mate. The vows and wedding ceremony or
exchanging rings etc. are for social purposes. Mark states Mary and
Joseph mated after the birth of Jesus and they had many children. They
were a blessed couple and were also blessed in their marriage. The RC
Church twisted this too and claims she was a virgin even after
marriage making the marriage void and them a cursed couple (this was
done lately in 1900s when the Pope could not answer questions to the
glorification of Mary). Thus creating a superficial image of her and
causing her to be like a god, the very thing which Satan wants and
uses.

Gospel go to the extent at times of not recording her as the mother of
Jesus after the death of man Jesus but recording her as just the
mother of Joses and James who were Jesus' bothers and born of His
foster father Joseph.

These tricks of Satan which it successfully played through the RC
Church are not new it did try these before with the Jewish Church and
are stated in Jeremiah and other Prophets.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You warned us many times in your scriptures about all the tricks
Satan would play on your people. He will distort your Word and the
Truth. You also gave clear details in many places yet we find because
people do not depend on your Word they are going astray. The accuser
is devouring them because of their lack of knowledge of your Kingdom
and your Word. Lord, we pray the Truth is revealed to more and more of
your people especially those who are yet in the hold of the false
church. May people know your Word is True and You alone are True...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 1:24-25
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord

Matthew 13:55-56
55 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary?

56 And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this

the sons of Zebedee.

Mark 16:1 - And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary
the mother of James [this was Mary the mother of Jesus], and Salome
[mother of sons of Zebedee], bought spices, that they might come and
anoint him.

Jeremiah 44:16-19
16 As for the word that thou hast spoken unto us in the name of
Jehovah, we will not hearken unto thee.
17 But we will certainly perform every word that is gone forth out of
our mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out
drink-offerings unto her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our
kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of
Jerusalem; for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw
no evil.
18 But since we left off burning incense to the queen of heaven, and
pouring out drink-offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and
have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.
19 And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out
drink-offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and
pour out drink-offerings unto her, without our husbands?

Matthew 9:17 - Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the
bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but
they put new wine into new [renewed] bottles, and both are preserved.

Worldly prosperity brings you to idol worship and death

Hosea 13:1 - When Ephraim spake trembling [with fear], he exalted
[sustained / lifted up] himself in Israel; but when he offended [to do
wrong] in Baal, he died.

Just yesterday my little daughter (she is just 6 years old) was
discussing life with me. She was telling me about her great fantasies
and plans in life, about being rich and famous. But when I told her as
a Christian these dreams would not be fulfilled, that took her by
surprise. It was like all her dreams were shattered, for she really
loves God. Then started her bombardment of questions as to why?

I explained to her the foundational purpose of being a Christian was
about becoming an overcomer through our baptisms in Jesus Christ and
in the Holy Spirit. I then explained to her at her level of
understanding what these baptisms meant. Then suddenly her concerns
were not about herself or her great plans but about her friends and
their families who she realized where calling themselves Christians
but not living a Christian life. She realized for them life was all
about having more and enjoying more while using Jesus Christ and a
cover.

In today's message we read about Ephraim who had fear of God and was
commitment to his brothers [Israel] as being one with them. But we
read even after doing this Ephraim landed up worshiping Baal and that
caused his death.

The Hebrew word Ephraim means double anointing. What Ephraim wanted
was not wrong things but good things, the things which were part of
the promises which the Lord had given a land of milk and honey. But
the problem was he was not satisfied with receiving the quantity which
the Lord planned for him, he wanted double. His understanding of milk
and honey was worldly. This greed caused Ephraim to settle down in the
land before the river Jordan [meaning become a descendant - a son] and
not to cross the river Jordan into the Promised Land.

The whole story of Israel right from the their getting oppressed in
Egypt, to the plagues, the Passover, receiving the Ten Commandments,
being led by the Pillar of Clod and Fire, the Tabernacle, the
sacrifices, the battles with the Moabites, killing of the two kings -
king Sihon and king Og, winning battles by the power of carrying the
Ark of Covenant and crossing over the river Jordan with the help of
the Ark, all this was nothing but a total summary of life of a
Christian. It has everything one will find in the books of the
Prophets and even in the New Testament including the Gospels, Epistles
and book of Revelation. The Promised Land symbolized Heaven and the
story before is the story of life.

One thing the Lord did to the Israelites was never let them stay in
permanent houses. They always stayed in tents. Had they stayed in
permanent houses they would have never reached the Promised Land. Paul
says we are aliens / not citizens of this world. We are just
travelling through this world. If we desire riches of this world our
heart will be in this world and when our heart is set in this world
then we too will be dwellers of this world, thus we will not enter
Heaven. Jesus was not wrong when He said it is near impossible for a
rich man to enter Heaven.

When I spoke to my daughter about being an overcomer her fear came
about do we need to be beggars to enter Heaven? Then I explained to
her that all our provision, our needs will be supplied. We will never
go hungry or lacking like the Israelites did not go hungry, thirsty or
wanting needs even one day of the fourty years, the Lord provided for
them. They just needed to collect, process them and consume according
to God's instructions.

Let us not be Ephraim. We may have the fear of God which is very
essential, we may even have the love for our brethren in Christ doing
the Lord's work but if we do not work on our own selves and control
the desires of our hearts we may lose everything we will not enter
Heaven.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we pray your people realize being a Christian is not about
making a big noise about You to the world. Being a Christian is all
about carrying your Name. It is about You being in us. You are not of
this world so we too cannot be of this world. Lord, help us overcome
the desires of this world. You have not instructed us to live a life
of lacking anything, for You have already provided for us all that we
need. Help us lord to trust in You for all our needs and help us carry
our Ark which is the CROSS, so that we win our battles by its power
and enter Heaven by the CROSS...

[Reference Scriptures]
John 6:30-33
30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we
may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave
them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses
gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true
bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and
giveth life unto the world.

Acts 28:23-27
23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into
his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God,
persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and
out of the prophets, from morning till evening.
24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.
25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed, after
that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Ghost by Esaias the
prophet unto our fathers,
26 Saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear, and
shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and not perceive:
27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are
dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see
with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their
heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Hebrew 8:5-7
5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses
was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for,
See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern
shewed to thee in the mount.
6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much
also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established
upon better promises.
7 For if that first had been faultless [not God like perfect], then
should no place have been sought for the second.

Luke 14:27 Whosoever doth not bear his own cross, and come after me,
cannot be my disciple.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is to them that perish
foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.

What is of God will remain, everything else will perish

Acts 5:33,34 - When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and
took counsel to slay them. Then stood there up one in the council, a
Pharisee, named Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among
all the people, and commanded to put the apostles forth a little
space;

When Peter and the Apostles witnessed Jesus to the Jewish authorities,
we read they got very anger so much that they wanted to kill them.
During this high drama of emotions stood a man of wisdom by the name
of Gamaliel, he advised them not to take any actions against the
Apostles, for if was not of God it would perish away like most people
or concepts that were not of God. But if it were of God then they
would find themselves fighting against God.

Such advice was not possible for any ordinary person unless he had
studied history and gone through many years and years of records. It
was the experience gains from understanding them that caused these
words of wisdom to come.

Gamaliel was no ordinary man; Jewish history states him to be a very
highly respected scholar on Jewish laws and descendant of one of the
architects of the Talmud (commentaries on the laws of Moses,
traditions of the Jews and Jewish history). He presided over the
Sanhedrin during the reigns of Tiberius, Cains, and Claudius. The
Talmundists say that he was the son of Rabbi Simeon, and grandson of
Hillel, the celebrated teacher of the law, and that upon his death the
glory of the law departed. Studying under him was considered as been
passed from Harvard's today. He was under whom Paul (Saul) did his
study of the Jewish laws.

After the Torah the sacred text of Judaism is the Talmud. The word
Talmud is a composition of 3 words which means to learn, imply in
one's life and teach by example. Gamaliel was a person who made an
attempt to understand what he read and to follow it before teaching it
(most learn and teach, they do not understand or imply in one's life
properly). This is one reason he did not outright go against what the
Apostle said, he found a small ray of light in what they said, but
being a man of high Jewish stature it was not possible to openly
support them or suggest an open discussion on it.

Paul was his student and had received not just knowledge but also
values from Gamaliel. We all state Saul before he became Paul
persecuted the Church and was one of the great enemies of the church.

If we look at the records in Acts Saul was a staunch Jew and student
of the law. Like all Jewish law students he too had great zeal for
what he believed. If we read carefully Paul was more a protector of
the Jews therefore went by legal means of getting necessary
permissions from the authorities and after pursuing the Christians he
would get them arrested and put behind bars. He at no time physically
harmed them. The only blood on Paul's head was of Stephen that too not
as a perpetrator of his death but that of a collaborator.

The Lord is telling us not only in the world but also inside of each
of us what is from the Lord will remain but that which is not of the
Lord will perish if we use wisdom. So let us use wisdom in every area
of our lives not only when it comes to other people but also when it
comes to dealing with oneself.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, though we call ourselves Christians there is a lot part in us of
the world which has not died unto You. We pray Lord we learn from
today's message and instead of fighting our sinful nature help us
concentrate of walking with the Spirit. You have never said You expect
us to overcome by our own selves. You always said by your Spirit we
will overcome. You also came as man Jesus and became an example of how
we can overcome by your Spirit. When we fight our sinful nature by our
strength we many times find due to lack of knowledge we land fighting
against the works of the Spirit in us. Lord, help us be more
productive by concentrating on the good and You alone are good...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 5:33-39
33 When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel
to slay them.
34 Then stood there up one in the council, a Pharisee, named
Gamaliel, a doctor of the law, had in reputation among all the people,
and commanded to put the apostles forth a little space;
35 And said unto them, Ye men of Israel, take heed to yourselves what
ye intend to do as touching these men.
36 For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be
somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined
themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were
scattered, and brought to nought.
37 After this man rose up Judas of Galilee in the days of the taxing,
and drew away much people after him: he also perished; and all, even
as many as obeyed him, were dispersed.
38 And now I say unto you, Refrain from these men, and let them
alone: for if this counsel or this work be of men, it will come to
nought:
39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be
found even to fight against God.

Acts 7:58 - And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the
witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name
was Saul.

Acts 8:1-3
1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was
a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and
they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and
Samaria, except the apostles.
2 And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great
lamentation over him.
3 As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every
house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.

Romans 8:4-6
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is
life and peace.

Galatians 6:16-18,25
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the
lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against
the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye
cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Selah

Psalms 66:13-15
13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was
in trouble.
15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the
incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah

We read the word 'Selah' often in the book of Psalms. This word
occurs 75 times in the Bible - 71 times in Psalms, 3 times in Habakkuk
and once in 2 Kings. Everywhere it is given the same Strong number
except for one place which is 2 Kings 14:7 (for those who do not
understand Strong number - it is numbering system given by Strong to
Hebrew and Greek words for us to know which Greek or Hebrew word was
used in the scripture and thus with the help of Lexicon we can study
the meaning of the word, even without having knowledge of the Hebrew
or Greek languages - 'Strongs' is a book which can be got at Christian
book shops and is very necessary for the 3rd stage of Bible word
study, the first being commentaries and second cross-reference study).

Only in 2 King 14:7 Selah has the Strong number <05554> which holds
the meaning 'the rock' and elsewhere the strong number <05542> (which
is used mostly) has the root meaning 'to be valued'.

Many of the commentaries try to translate this word saying it means
'caution', which is not the case. In the Hebrew language there was no
means of emphasis in the typography of the Hebrew characters.
Therefore they would use the word Selah at the end of the sentence or
paragraph to note that the previous sentence or paragraph is of
importance.

The writer of Psalms 66 uses the word Selah for today's message
telling us the set of scriptures 13-15 are of great importance. He
says he goes to the temple and offers burnt offering of rams, bullocks
and goats for the Lord to listen to his prayers. But later in verses
16, 17 & 18 he realizes it is not the burnt offering that caused the
Lord to hear his prayers but the fear of the Lord, his praising Him
and his hate towards sin.

We all think when we do God's work of proclaiming His Name to the
world, that the Lord will hear our prayers. The Lord is telling us no
doubt as Christians we are called to and is our duty to witness Him to
the world, but more important is having the fear of the Lord in us,
spending time worshiping Him and overcoming our sinful nature. Most
Christians hate the last part and to avoid it they keep themselves
totally busy offering their burnt offerings.

The Lord is not telling them to stop their burnt offering but telling
them, they need also build their personal relationship with Him and it
is that personal relationship that lets things like answering of
prayers happens. The scriptures tell us people who walk in the way of
the Lord will not even need to open their mouths to ask, they will
only desire and the Lord will answer. We see this with Jesus; His best
prayers where He did the greatest miracles were just simple thanking
the Father (Psalms 21:1-6).

Jesus followed Psalms 37 which tells us to dedicate ourselves also to
the Lord, not just dedicate Him to the world and then alone will the
Lord give us the desires of our hearts.

Let us not be an eagle to the world and an ostrich to our personal
relationship with the Lord. Let us concentrate on being overcomers as
we witness the Lord to the world so that we do a better job of
witnessing the Lord by our own life example. That we struggle not
telling the world about Christ but let them know Christ in us.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, help us realize being Christian is not about being a newspaper
but is about being a model, an example to the world. We are called to
showcase the power of the Holy Spirit to the world like Jesus did.
Lord, we call ourselves Christians - followers of Christ / little
Christ, so help us work within ourselves as we go out to work in your
Vineyard...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name.

[Reference Scriptures]
Psalms 66:13-20
13 I will go into thy house with burnt offerings: I will pay thee my vows,
14 Which my lips have uttered, and my mouth hath spoken, when I was
in trouble.
15 I will offer unto thee burnt sacrifices of fatlings, with the
incense of rams; I will offer bullocks with goats. Selah.
16 Come and hear, all ye that fear God, and I will declare what he
hath done for my soul.
17 I cried unto him with my mouth, and he was extolled with my tongue.
18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
19 But verily God hath heard me; he hath attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God, which hath not turned away my prayer, nor his
mercy from me.

Psalms 21:1-6
1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation
how greatly shall he rejoice!
2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the
request of his lips. Selah.
3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou
settest a crown of pure gold on his head.
4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days
for ever and ever.
5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou
laid upon him.
6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him
exceeding glad with thy countenance.

Psalms 37:4 - Delight [be delicate] thyself also in the LORD; and he
shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

The people who call themselves of God but hate Him

Hosea 11:2 - The more the prophets called them, the more they went
from them: they sacrificed unto the Baalim, and burned incense to
graven images.

Since a few days I started reading a book named 'The Search' by Dr.
Ron Charles which I have been trying to get in India since a very long
time but got it lately thanks to the Internet website FlipKart.com

This book is a best seller which records the author's quest to find
about Jesus through non biblical records. These records include Jewish
church records, the Roman official documents and writings of secure
writers (non-Christians) of those times, early Church records which
are not part of the Bible, books of the early Coptic Christians from
the 1st to the 10th century, documents written in Iranic, Arabic and
Semitic languages which bore references to Jesus in the early years,
etc.

I just started reading the book and am on the third chapter but I was
not surprised only saddened to read how the Jewish Church and the
Catholic Church systematically tried to destroy documents and official
records concerning Jesus. The first tried to prevent people from
knowing the deity Jesus and the second to prevent people from knowing
Jesus more than what it pictured. The Catholic Church tried all it
best to destroy or hide documents which went against its teachings.

i.e. Jewish Rabbi Ekaba who was commissioned to compile the writings
of Josephus in the second century had also been given the
responsibility by the Jewish council of Rabbonis of editing any
mention of Jesus. It is also known that Rabbi Ekaba along with his
students personally destroyed over 1,000 manuscripts and documents,
Christian and non-Christian alike that mentioned the name of Jesus.

In the Catholic Church Pope Gregory IX had cartloads full of documents
(mainly of Jewish origins) burnt. In 1204 the Catholic / Christian
crusaders when concurred Constantinople burnt a library which housed
70,000 precious manuscripts and documents concerning Christ or the
early Church of which only about a 10,000 survived the fire. This
burning activity went on for six days. It is written about 1,000
Christians lost their lives trying to save these documents. The fire
was so hot that the protection armour worn by the crusaders burning
them melted. This church during those times also retired or
excommunicated priest like Alphonsus who pursued to know more and
study more about Jesus by putting them in cells so that they do not go
against church teachings. When they died no one knew about their death
for years.

Today's message was not only for the Israelites during the time of
Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, Daniel, Joel, Jonah or Zephaniah and others
who were there within the span of less than 200 years. Even though
these great Men of God were with them to guide them yet the more they
drew away from God. During those times the Israelites did the worst
kings of idolatry and paganism. Today also the story has not changed.
Today we have the Spirit of God working amongst us yet we have the
people of God trying their best to draw away from the Lord. They have
mastered the technic to shut their ears to the Truth or how to drown
the voice of the Lord speaking to them. They will ignore the Truth
which causes them to turn from their desires of the flesh and will
love to roll themselves in teachings which state all is good for God
is good, they do not have to do anything, God will do all things for
them and they can continue the live they are living, God understands
our weaknesses so we can continue entertaining our fleshy desires yet
we will go to Heaven.

Today the Lord is speaking to His people and asking them to turn from
their ways. They should stop being NAMESAKE Christians and start
carrying the Name (Character) of Christ in them.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we pray that your people stop being stiff-necked people that
they stop being namesake Christians and start following Christ and not
just believe in Him. Satan also know You and trembles at your Name but
still does things against your will. Lord, we pray You give your
people the courage to overcome their flesh and that they do not fear
man. Open their eyes to the Truth and pour more of your Spirit on your
people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Do not cut off the Spirit of the Lord

Lamentations 3:54 - Waters flowed over mine head; then I said, I am cut off.

This scripture was written by Jeremiah when he was put in a dungeon
and the same feelings that he went through at that time is what the
Lord is feeling today in our lives.

Waters symbolize people and in today's date social networking is
become an idol and god for many people. We read how people spend hours
and hours being online on Facebook. How people's relationships are
broken by the very tools, which were made to build better
relationships.

This message is not only for those who get on Facebook or other social
network site for the sake of social networking but this message also
goes to all who think they get on these sites to evangelize and
fellowship in the Name of the Lord.

When we get on these networks even though we post messages or
scriptures to encourage the people, we are most of the time also
trying to escape from having real relationships and thus live in an
artificial world which we can control.

We may do Lord, Lord on these networks but in reality it is like we
are roaming with a big photograph of a person but denying time with
the real person in our lives by locking the real person in the house.
The Spirit of the Lord is saying to each one of us do not put Him in a
dungeon for the sake of worldly people.

If we understand our Christian priorities well we have to give the
Lord first position in our lives so we need to spend quality time with
Him, then comes time with His people and lastly time with people of
the world. All three are necessary with their own priorities and
proportions.

Due to these network sites we are turned our priorities and
proportions topsy-turvy. The Lord is telling some of us it is not that
we are denying Him or not giving Him place in our lives but the place
we have given Him, He feels it like a dungeon there.

Let us understand our priorities and proportions and spend more
quality personal time with the Lord and know how much and when we need
to have fellowship with God's people and socialize with the people of
the world.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we find new and hidden ways to fulfil the desires of our flesh
and many times do it in your name. Lord, we pray we understand our
priorities well and know how much of what we need to do with the time
You have given us each and every day of our lives. Give us wisdom and
courage to discern and to say no to ourselves and to people when it is
necessary...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 22:37-40
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The Historical and Deity Jesus

Luke 24:24 - And certain of them which were with us went to the
sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they
saw not.

Among all mankind there is no person who has influenced mankind like
one person by the name Jesus. Even those who are not His followers
acknowledge Him on one way or another in their life.

The Gregorian calendar which is followed throughout the world is
divided on the life of Jesus. The words used to denote dates BC and AD
are connected to Jesus Christ. Among all religious or spiritual
figureheads none have made an impact on mankind like Jesus did.

Among all religions worldwide the top 2 are Christianity and Islam,
and their human figureheads being Jesus Christ and Mohammed. Jesus was
such an impact that even the second acknowledged the first, even
though the first directly warned about not following the second or
anyone else.

No one can deny Jesus as being a perfect person, many tried to defame
His character with lies but over time all of them got exposed one
after the other.

The one factor of Him that sets Him apart from all others is His death
and resurrection. No person or religious figurehead who has claimed to
be a Man of God or God man has been able to achieve victory over death
like Jesus did. This factor was one factor that shook all those who
lived during the times of Jesus so much so that in the first 10 years
after His death we have many people from various parts of the world
who wrote on this event. Even though some tried to distort the truth
but yet they acknowledged the fact that on the third day after Jesus
died His body was missing from the tomb in which it was kept. Roman
historical records confirm the fear of the Jews and Romans that the
disciples of Jesus would take His body after His death and create a
conspiracy thus the tomb was sealed with a large stone and not only
that, guards were posted outside it.

As per the traditions of the Egyptians followed by the Jews in certain
parts of Israel on the third day they would come back to the tomb and
perform the final rites to the body and it was when they went to do
this that they found that the tomb was empty (they would place coins
on the eyes of the body which was a Egyptian pagan practice).

This factor has shaken each and every person even though they are not
followers of Jesus. Mohammed knowing this factor would write him off
denied Jesus' crucifixion in the Quran saying Jesus was neither
crucified nor resurrected but was taken up by 'Allah' (Surah
4:157-158). About someone else being a substitute (namely Judas
Iscariot) was later conceptualised not by Mohammed but many, many
years later when people mostly Muslims started seriously taking up the
fact of the death and resurrection of Jesus. What is funny in the
Quran one place out of fear Mohammed denies Jesus' died and
resurrected but at the same time in many places acknowledges Jesus
would die and be resurrected by 'Allah' (Surah 19:15, 33). In one
place Mohammed quotes (according to him) the words of the just born
infant Jesus stating His death and resurrection. Mohammed states Jesus
as Prophet (Man of God) then later makes him a liar by denying the
words of the Prophet Jesus; the same way he does stating Jesus as
Christ, Word of God or Messiah.

Lately a few years back a person named Sathya Sai Baba who claimed he
was god incarnated and Jesus in the flesh; when he died all his
followers waited for many days to see if he resurrected like Jesus
did. The town where he operated from was always full of foreigners but
after his death when this man failed to resurrect this town has become
like a ghost town with no foreigners visiting it.

No prophet or godman or religious figurehead has been able to put
their words to action of being someone exceptional to be followed like
Jesus did with the one factor of His victory over His death by His
resurrection. And the Word of God states the Power behind this task
was the Holy Spirit. This message was given to me yesterday being
Pentecost but I was very disappointed in the way the Church here in
Mumbai did not take the most important feast for Christians seriously
and so I was not in a frame of mind to send it.

Jesus was God who humbled Himself and came as man. Without the Power
of the Holy Spirit working in His life even He would not have
succeeded to be the cornerstone for all mankind to be born without
blemish and remain without blemish. It was this fact that He was
without sin (which is also acknowledged in the Quran) that caused Hell
(He went there since our sins were on Him) not to hold Him back and
thus resurrect.

Jesus by His life as man showed us the necessity of the Holy Spirit in
our lives so let us also make the Spirit of God as the most important
part of our lives, without Him we too will not be Christians like
Jesus could not be Christ without Him.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we thank You for Jesus who became a worthy sacrifice to make us
worthy to receive your Spirit. Lord, You have said it is only by the
working of your Spirit in us that will allow us to be truly saved, not
just saved from going to hell but will enable us to enter Heaven. Holy
Spirit we need You more today than ever. Unite us as one body in our
Lord with one mind and one understanding, work in us as You did with
Jesus and make us a success like You did with Him. We know we too will
rise like He did only by your Power...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the
life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 10:8-10
8 All that ever came (is in Aorist tense which is past, present and
future at the same time) before (word also means ever) me are thieves
and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and
shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to
destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have
it more abundantly.

Luke 1:35 - And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit
shall come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow
thee: wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called
the Son of God.

Acts 1:8-9
8 But ye shall receive power, when the Holy Spirit is come upon you:
and ye shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea and
Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was
taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

Philippians 3:8-11
8 Yea verily, and I count all things to be loss for the excellency of
the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I suffered the loss of
all things, and do count them but refuse, that I may gain Christ,
9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of mine own, even
that which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ,
the righteousness which is from God by faith:
10 that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the
fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;
11 if by any means I may attain unto the resurrection from the dead.

(Since a sister insisted on me quoting from the Quran to prove my
comments on Islam, since many Muslim friends are reading my messages
thus I am quoting scriptures from the Quran - I may not do this every
time since it would make my already long messages longer and most
scriptures in the Quran contradict themselves so we need to quote not
just one like in the Bible)

Surah 4:157-158
157 That they said in boast, "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary,
the Apostle of Allah"; — ut they killed him not, nor crucified him,
but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are
full of doubts, with no certain knowledge, but only conjecture to
follow, for of a surety they killed him not: —
158 Nay, Allah raised him up unto Himself; and Allah is Exalted in
Power, Wise; —

Surah 3: 55 Behold! Allah said: "O Jesus! I will take thee and raise
thee to Myself and clear thee of the falsehoods of those who
blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who
reject faith, to the Day of Resurrection: Then shall ye all return
unto me, and I will judge between you of the matters wherein ye
dispute."

Surah 19:15 - So Peace on him the day he was born, the day that he
dies, and the day that he will be raised up to life again! (the word
again was added in the later translation and was not there in the
original Arabic - Pickthall translations)

Surah 19:27-33
27 At length she brought the babe to her people, carrying him in her
arms. They said: "O Mary! Truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!"
28 "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy
mother a woman unchaste!"
29 But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one
who is a child in the cradle?"
30 He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me
revelation and made me a prophet";
31 "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined
on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live";
32 "He hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable";
33 "So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the
day that I shall be raised up to life again!"

Surah 43:61-63
61 And Jesus shall be a Sign for the coming of the Hour of Judgment:
Therefore have no doubt about the Hour, but follow ye Me: This is a
Straight Way.
62 Let not the Evil One hinder you: For he is to you an enemy avowed.
63 When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you
with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the points on
which ye dispute: Therefore fear Allah and obey me.

No fear of God in this world because we lack true Men of God

Acts 5:5 - And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the
ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

We read in scriptures when the glory of God was among the people, the
fear of God was in this world. When there were men of God like Moses
who had close relationship with the Lord and the Lord's glory was on
him then the fear of God was among the people. Like here we read in
Acts when glory of God was maximum amongst the people, when people
broke the Law there was immediate judgment, so also during the times
of Moses when God's glory was manifested and if people went against
the Lord there was immediate judgment. There would be fire coming out
of the earth or it opening up and consuming them, or sickness
instantly hitting them.

In today's world we have many famous Men and Women of God. These are
more celebrities or showmen and else spiritual Men and Women of God.
If one opens one's spiritual eyes and sees things, we are literally in
a pathetic state. All these so called Men and Women of God are
struggling in life. Struggling is not a problem so much but the
problem is all are struggling at very low stages of spiritual growth.
The things of the world have so much influence on the people including
on these Men and Women of God are they are not spared. In fact they
are attacked more and have become victims to this world and things of
the flesh one after another.

Things are so bad that we do not have even one Man or Women of God who
is at the secondary school level of spiritual life forget about
college. All are corrupted with corrupt teachings or with the desires
of the flesh. When I say not one I am not exaggerating, I mean it. One
of the main causes is unity among the God's people.

If one is in close touch with these preachers, evangelist or Church
leaders one would get really depressed at their relationship between
each other. They all behave like crabs in a bowl. When one manages to
climb to the edge of the bowl to come out the one below him will pull
him down by trying to climb over him. They would make sure no one
comes out of the bowl. That is the state of our Church leaders and
elders. Hurts and deceit works among them more than it works among the
ordinary people.

If one understands the stages of spiritual growth as given in the
Bible, in today's world all Christians are either still in spiritual
Egypt or in the spiritual stage called Jerusalem. When God said pray
for Jerusalem people think of the Jews living in the land of Israel
and pray for them. All this is because they have no understanding of
scriptures. Jerusalem was just a part of Israel; did the Lord not love
the others? If one looks at scriptures one will not find one scripture
asking us to pray for people of Israel or Zion but we have in Psalms
(Psalms 122:6) asking us to pray for peace in Jerusalem.

The time is come and is at hand that we need to get down on our knees
and pray for the people of God that they will grow in Him and dwell in
Zion (Israel) moving out of Jerusalem.

Let us pray for peace and harmony among the people of God that dwell
in spiritual Jerusalem, that they come together as one body working
for the glory of the Kingdom of God and not for their own glory and
against each other. That they stop pursuing to be paper planes by
glorifying their own selves but become fighter jets by glorifying the
Lord. That their relationship with the Holy Spirit grows and they
surrender to the Holy Spirit so as to become teachable to Him. That
they come together with one purpose in humility having a sober hearts
overcoming the desires of the world. That they pursue God's Will above
all.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we have all those send by You to lead your people themselves
struggling in Jerusalem. They are fighting among themselves and
soaking in the desires of the flesh. They hurt each other and misguide
each other. They look at another and justify their own wrong doings.
They are filled with the teachings of this world and of man, but less
of your Kingdom. They do not spend time with You, nor surrender to You
to be thought by You. Lord, we pray there is change in Jerusalem that
your people grow in You and advance to Zion so that your glory shine
on this earth and people know You are a Living God...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 2:41-47
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the
same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and
fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were
done by the apostles.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men,
as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and
breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness
and singleness of heart,
47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord
added to the church daily such as should be saved.

Acts 4:31-35
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were
assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of
one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he
possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection
of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were
possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the
things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was
made unto every man according as he had need.

Psalms 122:6 - Pray for the peace of Jerusalem (03389 [email=Y@ruwshalaim]Y@ruwshalaim[/email]

Sands of time

Daniel 11:30 - For the ships of Chittim shall come against him:
therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation
against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and
have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.

Today morning I was reading a message someone send me of scientist
claiming by their HRAAP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research
Program) they would be able to reverse time. These things are good in
theory or on paper but not in reality.

First thing we need to understand what is time?

Time is a measure like distance is. Distance between two objects can
be reduced or increased but cannot be made zero. Only distance between
the same or identical object inside itself can be defined as zero.
Also distance cannot be termed negative for distance is the mean
factor. Similarly is time.

Time is measured in many ways from laser to sub-atomic activity,
whichever is more accurate and consistent. In the Bible we see time is
written by revolutions of the earth, moon cycles or heavenly bodies
(astronomical bodies). These are numbers like distance is.

An interesting factor we see in the Bible, although for man's statutes
God refers to the current earth and moon cycles but when it came to
prophesies, in many places the calculation were made by 360 days a
year. Because that was the measure before the great quake tilted the
poles of the earth during Noah and caused the floods. It gives an idea
of how God perceives things.

Coming back to time; firstly why am I giving this science lessons in
my message to build faith?

We need to understand one thing. In today's message we see the Lord
had explained through Daniel prophesied about certain things
concerning Roman which were to happen nearly 700 years later. We see
even though this was written way before yet no one could change it.

We need to differentiate between warnings and prophesies. Consequences
of warnings can be changed by abiding to the warning but prophesies of
events given in the Bible cannot be changed whatever we do.

If these are not changeable then why has the Lord given them to us?

The Lord has given these events for us to know so that we can avoid
the impact of these events in our lives. If the impact were not
avoidable then Lord would not have found sense to let us know in
advance. There were cases like the death of the Prime minister of
Israel being assassinated was given in the Bible and even thought a
person found it before hand and send him a letter warning him about it
yet he did not read it. Later he was shot at and died.

Time in the Bible in reality is more of a factor between the flow of
events. When we measure time even by laser or atomic clock it is a
factor between an event of laser traveling a distance or the vibration
of an atomic particle. These things yet are not as consistent as the
events which the Lord has given in the Bible. The laser has a measure
of error which may be some Picosecond or the atomic clock by some
Nanosecond yet they have an error factor but the Bible does not. Even
though events were written by Moses 1500 years before Christ, they
happened on the time they were prophesied and will happen in the years
ahead on their prophesied time.

If one goes into Bible Codes one will get a shocked at the accuracy of
year and time of events written with their other fine details.

It is very important to note many of these prophesies like this one,
were fulfilled in the shadow and are yet to be fulfilled in spirit
very soon.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we pray your people study the scriptures and abide by the
warnings and be alert of the prophesies given in them. They will not
be able to change the prophesies but You wrote them so that they can
prepare for them and not be consumed by them. Lord, we pray your
people be not taken by surprise but be a step ahead of them before
they come like Joseph was before the famine...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 41:29-36
29 Behold, there come seven years of great plenty throughout all the
land of Egypt:
30 And there shall arise after them seven years of famine; and all
the plenty shall be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine
shall consume the land;
31 And the plenty shall not be known in the land by reason of that
famine following; for it shall be very grievous.
32 And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is
because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it
to pass.
33 Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and
set him over the land of Egypt.
34 Let Pharaoh do this, and let him appoint officers over the land,
and take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous
years.
35 And let them gather all the food of those good years that come,
and lay up corn under the hand of Pharaoh, and let them keep food in
the cities.
36 And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven
years of famine, which shall be in the land of Egypt; that the land
perish not through the famine.

Going to the mountain tops

Matthew 5:1 - And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain:
and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

We read in the Gospels for Jesus the mountains held a special place.
Whenever He needed a private time or to be away from the people He
would go up any mountain if available nearby.

We also see in other religions their so called ‘holy men’ or ‘man
gods’ go to mountain tops to meditate to be closer to the Creator. But
this is not the reason Jesus went to the mountains.

Most people think God is up and Heaven in up, but Jesus knowing the
Truth never went to the mountains to go on a height so as to be closer
to God. The earth is round so up is a relative direction.

If we read scriptures Jesus mostly went to the mountains to be away
from the people and being away from the people He would get time
totally dedicated to His Father. Jesus was God who became man and
although being man He knew God is everywhere. One does not need to go
anywhere to be with God. Wherever man is, however condition he is in,
he can find God for God is Omnipresent.

People go to mountains tops so as to help themselves to be away from
people. To be in communication with God and to hear His voice clearly
one needs to cut one’s self from this world and the commotions of this
world.

A mountain not only takes us away from the people but also away from
this world. We may not have access to a mountain but we have mountains
which we can go to like our bedroom or even our bathroom. What we need
is just a place where we can be alone and least disturbed by people,
so that we can spend exclusive time with God. One thing also one needs
to remember is physical isolation does not guaranty a mental isolation
and a mental isolation is more necessary than a physical isolation.
Jesus did not require to go to mountain tops to be with His Father, He
did so as to be away from the crowds that were always around Him. We
can be on mountain tops but if our hearts and minds are thinking or
worried with things and people of this world then mountains are of no
value to us. If we do not have the problem of people worrying us like
they did to Jesus our mountains can be even a crowded train, all we
need to do is to control our senses.

A lot of my learning from God either happened when I would get up very
early and sit with Him (at that time everyone else in the house was
asleep so this became my mountain) or when I travelled by train. Even
though I was in a crowded train I could cut out the world mentally and
be with the Lord (this did cause me at times to miss my station, smile
or laugh with joy suddenly and people to stare at me).

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You have said in your Word ‘Be Still and know I am God’. Lord,
it is the things of this Cosmos which stand between us knowing You and
your Kingdom. Lord, we may not have access to real mountains but make
available mountains to us in our lives in the provisions we have. Most
of all help us to spend exclusive time with You so as to be able to
hear your voice and know You...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Psalms 46:10 - Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted
among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

Judges 18:8-12
8 And they came to their brothers to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their
brothers said to them, What say you?
9 And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have
seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are you still? be not
slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.
10 When you go, you shall come to a people secure, and to a large
land: for God has given it into your hands; a place where there is no
want of any thing that is in the earth.
11 And there went from there of the family of the Danites, out of
Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of
war.
12 And they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: why they
called that place Mahanehdan to this day: behold, it is behind
Kirjathjearim.

Signs of the End of Time

Luke 21:10-13
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and
kingdom against kingdom:
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and
pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from
heaven.
12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and
persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons,
being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.
13 And it shall turn to you for a testimony.

Jesus as man when was asked about when the end will come said no man
knows the hour (exact moment) when the end will come. But He did not
say He did not know anything about the end. He did not keep quiet to
the question but did answer it.

We need to understand 2 things.

First Jesus answered with clues to know the end of days. He also
pointed to the people that they distinguish the seasons by the signs.
So why cannot we do the same with God's Kingdom.

Secondly the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke concentrate on the
teachings of Jesus. In these Gospels we find Jesus quoting scriptures
or expounding the scriptures. Thus even these events were taken from
scriptures of the Old Testament.

If we break up the events in order of their happening it will give us
an idea of where we are.

1) They shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering
you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings
and rulers for my name's sake - The great persecution of the Church
which already happened in the early days of the Christian Church.

2) Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom - The
first word translated as nation refers more to a breed or race of
people and the second to a rule. In the First World War we saw it was
basically not a war of country against country but a race of people
against others. Hitler wanted to prove to the world that his race was
supreme. And in the Second World War we see it was nations or
countries against countries. Some people are expecting the Third
World War but the Bible does not speak of it (thus these events have
also passed).

3) Great earthquakes - earthquakes have been happening since ages but
records (started since 1973) show annual earthquakes were happening at
a frequency of 5,000 per year and since 1995 they has sudden increase
to last recorded in 2006 which show of 30,000 per year. It shows a
sudden 6 fold increase. As to what warnings I have received from the
Lord we would see some (or a great one) in the next year. These are
proofs that we are living during the times of the quakes.

4) Famines - We are seeing a great changes in the weather and you may
have read my messages of the Lord warning of the times of hunger. We
need to remember everything in this world depends, or is connected to
others in a cycle. Change of climate will cause great changes in food
productions and we will see a time where food will be very scarcest
(We are entering into these days)

5) Pestilences - After times of hunger comes the times of sicknesses.
We are hearing of superbugs and sicknesses that are immune to
medicines. The Bible talks of times when sicknesses will paralyze
people and they will want to die but people will not allow them to
die, for their death will cause more harm and spread of the diseases.
The diseases during these times will make people behave uncontrollable
and we may see man do things unimaginable.

6) Fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven - These
times are the times just before the end comes. During these times we
will see things happening in space which may seem to put whole mankind
and earth to risk of being totally eliminated. But yet the Lord says
the end is not come. The second thing which is spoken here is signs
from the spirit world. The second 'great signs' refers to the
appearance of person or things. The Bible speaks of a time when Satan
by his power through the False prophet will cause the image to come to
life. This image is the spirit who people are worshiping today as
someone connected to Jesus but people do not know this spirit has been
there since the times of Noah and spoken of greatly during the times
of Solomon, Jeremiah and also Paul under various names. The Bible says
this lady (spirit) will be in human form dwelling amongst us and
anyone not worshipping it will be put to death. This is also the times
when the mark of the Beast (the chip) will be used for all commercial
transactions. The appearance of the 2 witnesses comes just before this
period and Daniel puts this period to be of 1335 days (approximate
3years 3months and 3 days - sign of Jonah for the wicked). The rapture
also happens just when the 2 witnesses are taken up. It is at the end
of this period Satan is released and he gathers all the armies of the
world against God's people. It is this moment when Jesus will come
again with His Angels to declare Who He Is. When the Son is declared
all things temporary and not under the sacrifice Blood of the Lamb
will perish and all creation will cease to exist. This is when the
Judgment happens and we all from the time of Noah who are sleeping in
Him and those alive during those times and still believing in the Lord
will stand before His Throne to be judged by the Word (Paul this as
the great mystery). It is after this man will enter Heaven to be part
of the glorious Son.

We are to be like a skilled farmer who will not tell you when exactly
when the harvest will come but knows when to prepare to harvest by
looking at the plantation as it grows.

This flow of events are given in many places and Jesus puts them in
order for us to understand them and not be like blind people but be
people walking in light according to the seasons doing the Lord's work
among His people, preparing them for Him and the things ahead. We
people of God who are with Him will not be affected even through these
great disasters, provided we are with Him.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, the Word is called the Book of Instructions. The Angels call it
the Book of Instructions for Creation. Your Instructions are complete
and all what is necessary for man to know are given within it. Lord,
You wants us to walk in knowledge of things doing the purpose You
created us. Lord, help us not worry of these events but worry of your
people and doing our work amongst these events...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Revelation 6:1-13
1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it
were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and
see.
2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a
bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and
to conquer.
3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast
say, Come and see.
4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given
to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they
should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say,
Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on
him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure
of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and
see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the
fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him
was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them
over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with
hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the
souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony which they held:
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy
and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell
on the earth?
11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said
unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their
fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they
were, should be fulfilled.
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was
a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and
the moon became as blood;
13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree
casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Be a strong united nation

Acts 6:12 - And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the
scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the
council,

The word that we read as Church in the Bible is a conceptualised word
which actually does not exist in the Bible. It is the Greek word
'ekklesia' which means assembly or congregation which is translated as
church. So when we say the word church we assume as a congregation of
Believers gathered in the Name of the Lord.

In today's scripture we find the people were gathered against Stephen.
They were stirred by a few and soon they became many, and as a large
group they managed to arrest him and take him to the council. Here we
see even the evil side knows the power of being together. Stephen was
a person look up on and as small groups they would not have been able
to lay their hands on him but as united lot they did.

Today the Lord is telling us to understand what bought them together
to become a one assembly and got them to do what they could not an
individual or small group.

There were a few who spread the common understanding against Stephen
that bought them together to become a united mob. If you look at this
mob there were various people with different understandings of
spiritual matters yet we see them united because of the common factor
of Stephen.

What we see in our churches, we have so many denominations. We do not
need the devil to divide us or work against us we are doing this work
ourselves.

We all believe in Jesus Christ as our Saviour and the only Way to the
Father. With this great common factor between us, is it not enough to
unite us and become a united assembly?

We Christians are unable to do much for one reason and that is we are
not united in our common factor which is Jesus Christ. We who believe
that Jesus Christ is the only way should make this common factor a
sufficient factor to unite us across congregations and bring us
together as a Body of Christ.

The Lord is not telling us we need to not have small churches for
during the times of the Apostles we see they had various small
churches and they operated and were named according to the various
places they were situated but they were all united helping each other
in their times of need and praying for each other. They were many out
of convenience, not out of understanding.

The people with callings worked between these churches and did not
have the concept of my church or your church. Also there was nothing
like universal church with one person overlooking all these small
churches. We do not read of Peter or Paul stating he headed all the
churches even though the later was instrument of initiating almost a
1000 churches. They all worked together as one team. The only one
person above us all is Christ and there is only one Church in Him for
there is only one Body of Christ.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we your people have failed You because we are not as one family
in You. We have divided ourselves because we have not let You be in
charge of our minds and our hearts. We allow the man of the flesh to
lead us more than the Holy Spirit and your Word. Holy Spirit, unite us
and make us a strong nation in You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Ephesians 4:
1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk
worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one
another in love;
3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one
hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and
in you all.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members
of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be
Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made
to drink into one Spirit.
14 For the body is not one member, but many.

Do not stand at crossroads and destroy people's lives

Obadiah 1: 14 - And stand thou not in the crossway, to cut off those
of his that escape; and deliver not up those of his that remain in the
day of distress.

Today morning before I sat to write the message I and my wife were
discussing about a sister who was standing at a crossroad and today
the Lord gave us this message.

I and my wife were discussing about this sister who has good relation
with a Muslim evangelist (apostolic). This sister was talking to us
yesterday about proving the Quran wrong to the Muslims by quoting
their scriptures therefore to read all their books. My wife also was
discussing with me how can one expect to know if we are right unless
go truly understand the matter in depth and to what level can one know
all things. How many books of different religions can we study to know
we are right? This is the very trick which Satan uses in theology
schools especially in Catholic seminaries and has caused many to fall
or become shaky structures.

Today's message tells us we can not to be people standing at
crossroads, people with doubts in our minds. We may be believing in
the Truth but because of our doubts we may cause others who are trying
to be saved from giving up and this may land up being the cause of
their spiritual deaths.

I may not be an authority on Islam nor have read all their religious
books. But that does not mean I cannot be sure of Islam being false
religion by knowing its basic principles and understanding.

Let me take it the other way. I am a Christian and even teach the
Bible but I know that I am not the authority on the Bible, what I know
is only a small part of what the Bible holds. It is funny when I tell
people this (especially my daughter who really laughs when I tell her
this), the more I study of the Kingdom of God the more I know of how
little I know. When I started studying the Bible I did not know each
and every word of it, its grammar, its symbolization and its position
in the text etc. would hold volumes of information even records of
historic events which had not happened when it was written and many
are yet to happen. In my wildest dreams I never thought I would need
to study things like physics, particles physics, biology, astronomy,
history, geography, archaeology, gemmology, zoology etc. just to
understand scriptures better.

We know that we do not know everything of the Bible yet we are sure
about our salvation and that is because we have our foundation
principles clear and the persons on whom our faith stands. We know
that the main characters of the Word on whom all scriptures are built
on, which are Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, have proved Themselves
in scriptures and also in real life. It is then just a matter of time
we will get more and more confirmation and clarity of our belief being
right.

When we come to other religions like Islam and its character Mohammed
we find he in his own words says that he has been a failure and that
Jesus Christ is the only one who has been successful. Then why in the
world do I become a fool to follow a failure when I have a choice to
follow a successful person.

The same is with other religions, we see each and every one of their
foundational characters are either mythological characters (which
means there is no historic proof they existed and that they are just
fictitious characters in stories or fairy-tales) , or have been
failures themselves.

When I know that a person is a liar and cheat then it is a waste of
time for me to search for some truth been spoke from all their lies.
First we should be clear about that person as being true or a cheat
after that it is not necessary for us to dig deeper.

About learning in depth of a religion and being able to answer people
from that religion, the Lord knows how to do that therefore brought
out people from within them for that task. We see Paul was very
successful with the Romans because he was half roman. I was bought out
from the Catholic Church not by any man but by the Lord Himself
therefore can stand before any Catholic and prove they are not
Christians.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, there are times even though we believe in You, yet by our
friable thoughts we show our confusion to others and become the cause
for them giving up their faith and going to vanity. Lord, we pray You
get us rooted in the Truth even if we have small roots keep them
strong. We know Lord You alone are God all others are of Satan. Let us
not be standing at crossroads and be cause for the fall of others but
dwell always in your fortified city...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

To MountZion - Page 23 Empty Re: To MountZion

Post  Admin on Sun 20 May 2012, 10:07 am

Want peace all around you?

2 Chronicles 15:15 - And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had
sworn with all their heart, and sought him with their whole desire;
and he was found of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.

We read in these records of Asa the righteous king who harkened to the
words of Azariah the son of the Prophet Oded. The Lord spoke through
Azariah and warned the people that if they seek Him with all their
hearts they will find Him, but if they forsake the Lord then the Lord
also will forsake them. The cost of forsaking the Lord was that
countries will go against countries and cities against cities and in
all this they will be consumed.

If you read today's papers what we see is the result of people
forsaking the Lord. It is sad that nations who call themselves
Christian nations, who were once blessed abundantly by the Lord now
have a change of heart and have turned their hearts far from God. The
Christians among them just keep blaming anything and everything around
them for their woes. They have lost their hold on basic principles of
Christianity and all seek blessings like instant coffee. They want
riches of the world and spiritual blessing to be given unto them
instantly. They expect the Fruits of the Holy Spirit be dropped unto
their bosom; they do not have the patience to be a vine that grows the
Fruits. Their hearts are for things from the Lord but not for the Lord
or His righteous ways.

In today's scripture the Lord shows when His people circumcised their
hearts and sought Him with their whole desire He was found by them.
And when they found God we can see a total change in their lives. It
is written the Lord gave them rest all around. This small sentence
tells us great, great things.

We all have problems in our lives all because our hearts are far from
God and we are not honestly seeking Him.

Let me take an example:- it is very common to see people posting messages like
'one who bends his knees before God stands before the world',
'A man is powerful on his knees',
'The men who have done the most for God in this world have been early
on their knees',
'Satan trembles when he sees the weakest Christian on his knees' etc...

Let me get it clear, even if we spend many hours of a day on our knees
but then going back to the ways of the world is just hypocrisy. It is
better not to be on our knees and pray but to circumcise our hearts
and seek Him throughout the day even when we are doing our daily
chores. Bending of knees or being on one's knees is a symbolic gesture
of what inside one's heart. If this gesture does not synchronize with
what's within but become an external practice or tradition then it
symbolizes a hardened heart. And we know how God gets angry against a
hardened heart; He hardens it further and leads it to destructions.

Today the Lord is telling us we cannot fool God by our vain symbolism,
the only people we are fooling is ourselves and it is time we stop
fooling ourselves and do the right meaningful things which will bring
change in us from the inside. It is only when we seek God with all our
heart will we see peace in our lives. This peace will not be just in
one area of our lives but in all areas of our lives. There may be
problems or disasters happening all around us but they will not affect
us, the world may plan things against us but none of them will be
successful. Like the Lord promised we will search for our enemies and
will not find them.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, as your grace is abundant on your people today yet they have
harden their hearts more against You, therefore we see more and more
disasters happening around us. Lord, let there be a change of heart
amongst your people. Let them seek You not in rituals and practices
but in spirit and Truth. Let them circumcise their hearts, cutting off
their personal pleasures of the flesh and seek You with everything
within them...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
2 Chronicles 15:1-15
1 And the Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded:
2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa,
and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with
him; and if ye seek him, he will be found of you; but if ye forsake
him, he will forsake you.
3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and
without a teaching priest, and without law.
4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of
Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.
5 And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to
him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of
the countries.
6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did
vex them with all adversity.
7 Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your
work shall be rewarded.
8 And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the
prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all
the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had
taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the LORD, that was
before the porch of the LORD.
9 And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them
out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him
out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God was
with him.
10 So they gathered themselves together at Jerusalem in the third
month, in the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.
11 And they offered unto the LORD the same time, of the spoil which
they had brought, seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep.
12 And they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD God of their
fathers with all their heart and with all their soul;
13 That whosoever would not seek the LORD God of Israel should be put
to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.
14 And they sware unto the LORD with a loud voice, and with shouting,
and with trumpets, and with cornets.
15 And all Judah rejoiced at the oath: for they had sworn with all
their heart, and sought him with their whole desire; and he was found
of them: and the LORD gave them rest round about.

Proverbs 1:23-33
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto
you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my
hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh
as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall
seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be
filled with their own devices.
32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the
prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be
quiet from fear of evil.

Do all things according to the Law of the Lord

Luke 2:39 - And when they had performed all things according to the
law of the Lord, they returned into Galilee, to their own city
Nazareth.

In all of the New Testament the Law given through Moses when connected
to the Jews is referred to as the Law of Moses but when connected to
Jesus it is not written as Law of Moses but as the Law of the Lord.

The Jews never did and still do not keep the Law of the Lord, what
they keep is traditions, doing the things in the flesh without
understanding scriptures or its purpose. You may laugh at me saying
these guys know Hebrew and Greek and have done many degrees in
theology; but I will ask a person who after studying so much if he or
she cannot understand the basic simple fact that all scriptures are to
do with Jesus Christ, then of what value is that wisdom?

Paul warns again and again the Law brings death. He was not referring
to the Law of the Lord but to the Law of Moses. Today most Christians
still operate under the Law that brings death. For the Catholic Church
traditions is one of the leg on which it stands and this traditions is
nothing but the refurbished version of the Law of Moses. What the Jews
did is what we see happening in this church only with greater degree
and more blatantly.

This works of death is not limited to the Catholic Church or to
Judaism alone but has also deeply infected the Believer Church. We
believers may call ourselves people who follow the Word of God but
look at the things we do, the rituals we follow and you will see that
we have not completely come out of the Catholic church, many have half
their bodies yet in that Church.

People group the Jews and the Catholics with the Christians. But if
one looks into the beliefs, the Christians have nothing to do with
both the Catholics and the Jews other than historical links and common
scriptures. The Catholics and Jews both follow the Law of Death and we
Christians follow the Law of the Lord. The Law of the Lord has both
Commandments and statutes. People mistake statutes with traditions.

Banging a drum cannot be called music. It is the rhythm that makes the
banging of drums into music, without rhythm it is called noise. Any
ritual done without understanding and purpose (to know the Kingdom of
God and be built in faith) is like banging of drums without rhythm.

Let me take an example - Prayers. It is the devil who keeps us busy
with vain prayers which instead of communicating with the Lord puts us
in front of a wall talking to it. The Jews have their Wailing Wall and
the Catholic have their own which they called Rosary. For both of them
these walls instead of bring them to communicate with the Lord
actually stands in between them and the Lord. I came out of the
Catholic Church when my wall was broken, when the Lord exposed this
Wailing Wall called Rosary and its destructive purpose.

Let us be a holy nation having nothing to do with Satan and his works
of death. We are children of Light so let everything we do have
purpose and understanding and most important be in line with the
understanding with the Word of God.

When a monkey scratches his head, he does it because it itches him
there, but we humans are worst then monkeys for we do things without
purpose and understanding.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, your Law is like Light unto our feet and Lamp unto our path.
Your Law brings life and life in abundance to those who abide by it.
Lord, many think they are following your Law but are instead following
the laws of man (flesh) and these laws only bring death and
destruction. Lord, we pray your people be people of spirit and not
people of the flesh; that they walk in your Light and not in the
things of darkness...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
1 Chronicles 22:12 Only the LORD give thee wisdom and understanding,
and give thee charge concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law
of the LORD thy God.

2 Chronicles 17:9 And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the
law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of
Judah, and taught the people.

Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD,
and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

Psalms 1:1-3
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the
scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he
meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not
wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Isaiah 30:8-10
8 Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book,
that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:
9 That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that
will not hear the law of the LORD:
10 Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not
unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits:

Luke 2:21-24
21 And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the
child, his name was called JESUS, which was so named of the angel
before he was conceived in the womb.
22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of
Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him
to the Lord;
23 (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth
the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)
24 And to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the
law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.

John 7:21-24
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of
Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a
man.
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of
Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a
man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

1 Corinthians 9:9-11
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the
mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for
oxen?
10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt,
this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he
that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
11 If we have sown unto you spiritual things, is it a great thing if
we shall reap your carnal things?

Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which
were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto
death.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made
me free from the law of sin and death.

1 Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin
is the law.

The trumpet is been blown

Zephaniah 1:14 - The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and
hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man
shall cry there bitterly.

During the times of Moses when Israel was travelling through the
wilderness the Lord told Moses to make two trumpets and through the
blowing of the trumpets Moses was told to coordinate with the people.
When the people heard both the trumpets been blown the people had to
gather at the Tabernacle.

Since a few days the Lord has made me a trumpet blowing a warning
about what the Lord is going to do in the churches with the leading
preachers who are doing less of God's will but more of their own will.
They teach and preach Manna but not the Living Word. What they preach
in God's Name causes even God to say What Is It?

If you hear this same warning from the mouth of another it will be a
confirmation that the time is at hand.

You will say brother what then have I to do?

Like the Israelites knew when they heard both the trumpets blow they
had to gather at the Tabernacle so also are we to gather unto the
Tabernacle. Paul says we are the Tabernacle so it is time we review
our lives and our relationship with the Lord so that when this
spiritual earthquake takes place our house does not shake or be
affected.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, the Bible tells us whenever You did some great event that
effected your people You make sure not just by the mouth of one but at
least through the mouth of two or three You spoke. Lord, as your
people hear the blowing of the trumpets let them gather unto the
Tabernacle. Let us reconcile with You in our ways and walk in your
ways, not by our ways...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Numbers 10:1-3
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make
them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and
for the journeying of the camps.
3 And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble
themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

The Idols and gods above the Lord

Ezekiel 22:4, 5 - Thou art become guilty in thy blood that thou hast
shed; and hast defiled thyself in thine idols which thou hast made;
and thou hast caused thy days to draw near, and art come even unto thy
years: therefore have I made thee a reproach unto the heathen, and a
mocking to all countries. Those that be near, and those that be far
from thee, shall mock thee, which art infamous and much vexed.

In the Bible we see that although the people of Israel were called
God's people yet their biggest enemy was the Lord Himself. It was the
Lord in His anger Who delivered them to their destructions that too
after sending them numerous warnings which they did not adhere to.

We see in the world there are some religions who have one God and a
defined God (not some power or energy) and these religions are
Judaism, Islam, Catholics and Christians (Believers).

It was when I was teaching on the book of Acts where Stephen gives a
justification for the accusation against him that I learned about the
gods of these religions. What surprised me was the accusation against
Stephen and the fact that Stephen did not deny it but goes ahead and
explains it.

It is only when we see who is the ultimate authority and who has the
say in these religions do we know who really is their god / God.

Almost everyone thinks that YHWH is the God of the Jews and also the
God of the Catholics. It is only when we see who's words are given
priority that we realise that YHWH is just one of their many gods and
their real god is someone else.

Stephen was indirectly accused of calling Moses as the first god of
the Jews and this accusation is what Stephen tries to justify. The
Jews gave priority to the words of Moses over the Words of the Lord.

You may be puzzled saying brother but Moses spoke the Word of the Lord.

It is true Moses spoke God's Word but the Word was given in such a way
that it required people to understand it. These people took the
literal words and not the understanding. This caused the Jews to
reject many of the understandings and warnings through the other
Prophets and even kill them. It was not that they did not have any
ability to understand but it was the stubbornness not to understand
and this was seen openly in the books of Jeremiah and other Prophets.
Even today they claim YHWH is their God but the traditions and words
of Moses is above all for them. It was this reason that caused the
Lord to hide Moses body when he died.

The same is also with the Catholics, they too have the Godhead as one
of their gods and their main god is someone else and every word of
that spirit is given priority over and above God's Word. It is this
spirit that has caused them to add books, edit scriptures, modify the
Ten Commandments, make things like traditions more important than
scriptures.

We Believers too can make someone a god over the Lord and that happens
when we put that person's word over and above God's Word. As yourself
how many times do we check everything which we hear in churches and
from preachers with scriptures?

The Lord is telling us He would do with us the same as He did with the
Israelites in the Bible in His anger when they made gods and idols
above Him. Paul spoke of things and desires which we can make gods in
our lives but do we realize we put people and spirits as lord of lord
and king of king.

[Prayer Starters]
Lord Jesus, there are many who call themselves as your worshippers but
only a few really are. Many among them have put people and spirits
above You and made them their real god. Lord, we pray we do not be
people of darkness but walk in your Light. Your Word is light and it
is by your Word alone all things are exposed and things hidden come to
the open. Lord, root us in your Word...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 6:9-14
9 Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the
synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of
them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.
10 And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by
which he spake.
11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak
blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.
12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes,
and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,
13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to
speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:
14 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall
destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered
us.

Acts 7:51-54
51 Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always
resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they
have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of
whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have
not kept it.
54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they
gnashed on him with their teeth.

Judgement for murder, anger with cause, saying racca or morros

Matthew 5:21, 22 - Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time,
Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of
the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his
brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and
whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the
council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of
hell fire.

Before I share today's message I like to let you know today
SavedByFaith. info is celebrating its 5th anniversary. I started
sending mails daily to a handful of people this very day 5 years ago
and today it reached to tens of thousands. I thank all those who
prayed for its success and specially those who have added many souls
to the list. SavedByFaith. info is all about taking the daily Manna
received from the Lord and taking out of it the Living Word that
changes lives. I ask you to pray that the vision which the Lord has
given me when I started this venture be fulfilled quickly.

Today's Manna is Matthew 5:21,22 and in it Jesus is adding 3 factors
that will cause us to be judged as we would be judged for murder. In
other words the Lord is telling us that these offences are as serious
as murder. We may not have murdered any person but think of it we may
be regularly doing one of these equally serious offences without
realizing.

The 3 which Jesus added are:-
1) Anger without cause
2) Calling someone Racca
3) Calling someone 'you fool' or 'Morros'

1) Many of us land up almost daily getting angry. The Lord does not
say anywhere anger is a sin or bad but warns about keeping anger as
dangerous. In today's message He goes to the extent of telling us
getting angry against another brethren without cause is like murder.
How many times do we get angry without confirming if that person is
wrong and we are justified in our anger? Think of it if we are wrong
we would be committing an offence as serious as murder.

2) The second point is calling someone Racca. Some translations put
this as 'rascal', which means a mischievous person, but the scripture
does not mean that. The word Racca means empty or senseless. It refers
to a person been called as one without a soul or heart. Telling a
brethren as not having a heart or soul is an offence as serious as
murder. We know out of our anger how many times we use the term
'heartless' and it means the same as Racca. Using this term against
another believer or even another child of God who has not yet come to
know the Lord is like doing a murder.

3) The third point is calling someone 'morros' and again this word is
wrongly translated here in most translations. The word does not mean
you fool, we find Jesus also used the term you fool in Luke 11:40
towards His followers and the Greek word He used is 'aphron'. Jesus
again uses the same term 'you fool' (Greek word 'anoetos') in Luke
24:25 towards his followers. Paul also uses the term 'you fool' in his
letters to Romans, Corinthians and Ephesians.

Calling someone as unwise or foolish is not a serious offence and is a
discernment that one does according to one's wisdom. The word moros
(from where the English word moron comes) has two ways in which one
can use it one as senseless / emptying of understanding and other with
reference to its root word 'musterion' which means having another /
mysterious spirit.

We need to understand how serious an offence it is when we call
another believer or child of God as being possessed or having another
spirit or being Godless and being wrong on it. It is not that a person
who once believed in Christ cannot forsake the Lord and have another
spirit operating in him or her. But the Lord warns us if we are wrong
in any way then we have committed an offence as serious as murder.

Let us be alert not to let anger come into us without cause and let us
be careful as to the words that we speak especially against another
believer. Let us be careful when we use words like 'heartless'.
'moron' or 'you devil', and make sure we do not use them against any
believer.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You said in your Word a person who holds one tongue also keeps
one's soul from danger. Lord, help us to take control of our tongue
and also of our emotions. Help us not use lose words or lose control
on our anger and get angry against anyone without cause especially
against another brethren. Forgive us for the times we have done this
without understanding and let us not be put to judgment...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 11:40 Ye fools [aphron], did not he that made that which is
without make that which is within also?

Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools [anoetos], and slow of
heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

Romans 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools [anoetos],

1 Corinthians 4:10 We fools [moros emphasising being empty] for
Christ's sake, but ye wise in Christ; we weak, but ye strong; ye
honourable, but we despised.

2 Corinthians 11:19 For ye suffer fools [aphron] gladly, seeing ye
yourselves are wise.

Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools
[asophos - unwise], but as wise,

Matthew 23:17 Ye fools [moros] and blind: for whether is greater, the
gold, or the temple that sanctifieth the gold?

Matthew 23:19 Ye fools [moros] and blind: for whether is greater, the
gift, or the altar that sanctifieth the gift?
