Poverty will come on the one that travelleth

Poverty 24:34 - So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and
thy want as an armed man.

About 9 days back we had received a message about calamities coming on
us. We may be thinking things are improving but we are deceived. While
terror is increasing, weather is going for a toss, food and water
becoming scarce; we also have another great problem that is raising its
ugly head. The Lord is again telling us in today's message about the
financial problem that is going to hit the people.

The message is clear the hardest going to be hit will be those who are
spiritual migrants. Those who know about God yet deny Him. Among
Christians many deny God through rituals and manmade traditions. They
give importance to man over God and the word of man over the Word of God
(including Believers).

If we read the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke with regards to feasts
we see they differ with the records in the Gospel of John. If one goes
through historical records we see people like Josephus did record how
the feasts were changed during the exile of the Jews in Babylon because
of silly reasons. What the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke recorded
was that happened. They did not modify nor change anything. That is why
in many places the Greek word used for feasts of the Jews used in the
Gospels but they have been translated as just feast. This restricts us
from getting the right understanding.

The Gospel of John is less a historical document like the other Gospels
and more an autobiography of Jesus and that is why we see the starting
text itself talks of Him in great revelation and the whole Gospel is
unlike the other Gospels. The Gospel of John talks of the feasts at it
ought to be and as it was told by the Lord. A few of the Jews did
celebrate it according to what they were given not that they understood
the feasts but even though they did not understand they did not change it.

The Lord is telling us we hardly know much about Him but what we do not
understand we should not change but follow them as given, until we
understand them.

Even the Ten Commandments when the Lord gave through Moses He called it
the Law and Commandments not just Commandments. It was Jesus who really
understood them and thus summarized them all into just two.

What we as Christians do and follow is far from what the Word of God
tells us. As I came to understand the Bible I was just shocked to the
way the deceiver has infected our belief and to what extent. The Word of
God truly says who could be saved from being marked by the beast, had it
not being for the Lord even the elect would not be saved from his deceit.

Now that the Spirit of God is given to us abundantly more is expected of
us to abide in the Word. The worst problems to hit man and most
effective to wake him up is not destruction of life but areas like
prosperity, pleasures, luxury and the worldly peace. God is telling us
at the same time those who really abide in Him will not be crushed by
these events. They will survive through them for God is their Provider
and Protector.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, unless the nest is shaken the eaglets will never learn to fly.
Lord other than putting sense into the heads of the stiff-necked
Christians You are waking up those who called to serve in your Kingdom.
Lord we pray they wake up to their call, their purpose in You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

John 5:1After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to
Jerusalem.

John 6:4And the passover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh.

John 7:2Now the Jews' feast of tabernacles was at hand.

Mark 14:12 - And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the
passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and
prepare that thou mayest eat the passover?

Luke 22:1 - Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called
the Passover.

Leviticus 23:6 - And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast
of unleavened bread unto the LORD: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.

Numbers 28:16-17

16 And in the fourteenth day of the first month is the passover of the LORD.

17And in the fifteenth day of this month is the feast: seven days shall
unleavened bread be eaten.

John 12:1 - Then Jesus six days before the passover [started] came to
Bethany, where Lazarus was which had been dead, whom he raised from the
dead.

John 18:39 - But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at
the passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the
Jews?

John 19:14 - And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the
sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King!

Exodus 24:12 - And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the
mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law,
and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

Sing a New Song unto the Lord

Psalms 149: 1 - Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and
his praise in the congregation of saints.

The scriptures concerning sing a new song unto the Lord is what people
take very passionately and then they try and try. We find people if not
singing a new song modifying words in old songs or playing an old song
in different ways.

The cult I spoke of WMSCOG printed a song book titled New Song Book
which is exclusive to their congregation. They claimed their
congregation of 144000 would be the saved congregation but incidentally
they now a 200000 plus strong congregation, would like to know who among
them would not be saved and why. People do not know what the term new
song refers to therefore try all kind of things.

When I was meditating on some scriptures like ones one where Jesus sings
hymns only once. God is not human to have ears to be pleased with music
for He sees the heart and knows our communication even before we speak
it out.

I was asking the Lord why Jesus did not sing hymns often, for He did
pray often and do all other things that pleased the Father. Then the
Lord opened my mind to understand songs and why we worship in songs and
what it means to sing a new song every time. This understanding showed
me how to truly worship the Lord.

Let me give a demonstration of this by example.

Say I am making a prayer to the Lord in words as follow:-

Lord, You are seated high above. Yet Lord You are not far from your
people. When your people sing praise unto You and when they abide by
your Law nothing can keep your people far from You.

Now the same prayer I make into a poem

Thou O Lord are seated high above

Yet Lord You are not far from your people

Nothing, nothing, nothing can come in between

When praise in on the lips and Law in the hearts of your people

What the poem does is, adds or increases the emotion factor to the
words. Now if we sing these same words with music we find an explosion
of the emotions. What happens is what we meant is words is now strongly
meant in song. All that song does is puts the heart ahead of the mind in
communication. Worship in hymns is necessary for us because we are far
from God and our desire to be closer to Him can not be fulfilled just by
our minds. It is by our hearts (including our minds / understanding) we
come close to God. Thus we see Jesus sang hymns only during the weakest
time on His life just before He was to be our sacrifice. During the
other times He was one with the Father therefore did not need to sing
hymns but just words.

Song has 3 factors to it words, music and emotions. A new song would
mean a change between in any one of the 3 factors. That is why we see in
Heaven even though the Heavenly Body sings only the words 'Holy, Holy,
Holy' all time long yet every time they sing it is a new song. Every
time they say the words they do it with a new understanding and with
greater feeling.

The Hebrew 'rinnah&# 39; word translated as 'song' actually means 'ringing
cry'. Giving more emphasises to the emotions than the verbal communication.

Another thing-

Thou O Lord are seated high aboveandO Lord thou are seated high above

Do not make a new song for they mean the same even thou the sequence of
words may be different.

Let our songs be not a wise playing of words but be a new understanding
and a new level of emotions coming from within us for the Lord. Our
dancing should be an expression of our emotions, our dance steps do not
please God but the expressions do.

Worship takes us into the Gates of the Lord; worship does bring us
closer to the Lord, to experience a thicker glory of Him.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we live because we worship You since worship and grace keeps us in
your presence and does not let your wrath consume us. Lord, let our
worship not be just intellectual words but a worship that comes from our
hearts. Thus Lord help us keep a clean and holy heart that is not
burdened by the worries and desires of this world but beats only for You
and cries only for You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Matthew 26:30 - And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the
mount of Olives.

Psalms 32:7 - Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from
trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Ephesians 5:19 - Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Jeremiah 7:2 - Stand in the gate of the LORD'S house, and proclaim there
this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that
enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

Isaiah 23:16 - Take an harp, go about the city, thou harlot that hast
been forgotten; make sweet melody, sing many songs, that thou mayest be
remembered.

Amos 5:10-24

10They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that
speaketh uprightly.

11Forasmuch therefore as your treading is upon the poor, and ye take
from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye
shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye
shall not drink wine of them.

12For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they
afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the
gate from their right.

13Therefore the prudent shall keep silence in that time; for it is an
evil time.

14Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of
hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.

15Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate:
it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant
of Joseph.

16 Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing
shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas!
alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are
skilful of lamentation to wailing.

17And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee,
saith the LORD.

18Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for
you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

19As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the
house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

20Shall not the day of the LORD be darkness, and not light? even very
dark, and no brightness in it?

21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your
solemn assemblies.

22Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not
accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.

23Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the
melody of thy viols.

24But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.

This is the House of the LORD God

1 Chronicle 22: 1 - Then David said, This is the house of the LORD God, and
this is the altar of the burnt offering for Israel.

Some time back as I was teaching Acts chapter 15 I came across a very
interesting scripture (verse 16) in which the Lord speaks through Peter.
Peter quotes Isaiah 16:5 in which the Lord says He will establish the
throne of David and says He will sit upon it in truth. He then specifies
where the throne is and says it is in the tabernacle of David. This is the
place where I was a little surprised. Moses made a tabernacle and Solomon
and other Israelite kings build the temple but David neither build a
physical tabernacle nor build a temple. So what tabernacle of David the
Lord was referring to?

In 1 Chronicles chapter 23 to 27 we see David did build a Tabernacle and it
was not a structure or monument but a Tabernacle of people. If one has the
understanding of the things of Heaven we see David had set the people of
Israel according to the structure of Beings in Heaven.

In Acts 15:16 the word translated 'return&# 39; also means 'to turn upside down'
and when one puts that meaning it gives the right understanding to the
words of Peter. It means God is going to renew, a Church (congregation) of
people into a Church of Spirit filled people.

**

Time and again we see people of God are building a Church but not according
to God but according to their understanding. The Church the Apostles build
was corrupted with the teachings of Nicolas a Jewish heretic who became a
Christian and then started infusing the Jewish heretic teachings into
Christianity. It was he who bought the concept of Mother of God into
Christianity. His followers were called Nicolaitans. The hierarchy of
priests or Church leaders followed by the Catholic Church is from the
teachings of Nicholas. The surprising thing is even the structure most
Believer Churches follow is not totally Biblical and carried from the
Catholic Church.

When we read Acts and the Epistles we see the Church was not headed by
either one person (Peter) or by the twelve Apostles but initially by three
John, James and Peter. That is why we see Jesus gave extra attention to
these three when He taught them. Later these three were joined by Paul and
Barnabas. The five overlooked the administration of the Church globally
only because they were the most mature among the others in these matters.
It was not that they knew the most or were gifted the most.

The Church is a Body and the structure is according to the callings and
sadly we do not see this in our Churches today. In the Old Testament even
the priests were answerable to the Prophets, but in the New Testament we
see the Prophets became answerable to the Apostles, Apostles not because of
the twelve but because of their calling. All twelve chosen by Jesus had the
calling of Apostleship and Jesus knew the right way of building the Church
not because He was God who came as man but because He as man had the right
understanding of scriptures and of the Kingdom of God through the help of
the Holy Spirit.

The letters to the seven Churches in Revelation 2 and 3 actually talk of
the seven phases the Church of God goes through and it is only in the sixth
stage we see the glorious Church of God (the sage we will soon move to). It
is at this stage the Church functions according to the way God designed it,
the way it is in Heaven, having power and authority.

In today's message the Lord is telling us He is going to start this
rebuilding of the Church. Some months back I had a chat with a senior
Pastor on the topic of callings and how we do not see that in Churches. He
did give me ear and in the coming weeks I saw that he listened and was
giving opportunity to people in the Church and these first timers preached
with a fire that shook the congregation.

It is time people of God give thought to the calling they have in Christ
according to Seven Spirits of the Holy Spirit as given in Isaiah 11:2 (the
six callings and Christ the Head). The six callings are Apostle, Prophet,
Teacher, Evangelist, Administrator (Pastor) and Healer. This same design is
what we see in the image we humans are physically made in, our external
structure and the internal organs of our body.

The Lord is telling us the Church the Body of Christ is the Throne through
which the Lord [The Spirit of Christ] will rule His people giving
judgement, ordinance and teaching of the way of the Lord.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray the coming soon of the Church in glory as You set it. We pray
for a change in hearts of the leaders of the Church, that they come out of
the deceit that has been shadowing your people. That they do according to
your Word and according to Heavenly things...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Acts 15:16 - After this I will turn upside down, and will build again the
tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins
thereof, and I will set it up:

Isaiah 16:5 - And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall
sit upon it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking
judgment [ordinance], and hasting righteousness.

Revelation 2:6, 12-17

6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which
I also hate.

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he
which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is:
and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those
days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where
Satan dwelleth.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that
hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock
before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to
commit fornication.

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which
thing I hate.

16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against
them with the sword of my mouth.

17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna,
and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which
no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Isaiah 11: 2 And the spirit of the LORD [1] shall rest upon him, the spirit
of wisdom [2] and understanding [3], the spirit of counsel [4] and
might[5], the spirit of knowledge[6] and of the fear of the LORD[7];

Galatians 2:9 - And when James, Cephas [Peter], and John, who seemed to be
pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and
Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen,
and they unto the circumcision.

Calamities

Zephaniah 1:17 - And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall
walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and
their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

Today's message says God is angry with mankind and in His anger He will
harden their hearts and make them spiritually blind. Even if they read
scriptures they will not understand and be saved. God will also cause
great destruction of life. The reason what god has given is just one
which is 'they have sinned against the LORD [Yehovah/Jehovah] '. The
Hebrew word translated as sin means to go against or error against.

Two days back I shared about WMSCOG, like them about the same time in
Korea was another cult known as the Moonies or the Unification Church.
The founder of that group also called himself god and his wife mother
god. The most amazing fact is both the founders came from the same town
in Korea. The grave where they are buried also has other so called gods
buried with their tombstones proclaiming their self-made claims.

It is not that God suddenly woke up to the sinning of man. If we see in
scriptures there are three complete destructions or annihilation which
God did in most supernatural way one was of the Tower of Babylon, second
destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah and bringing down of the Wall of
Jericho. It is interesting to note in two cases the reason was same. The
tower of Babylon was not bought down because of its height but because
it was a temple of all gods bought together. Man had bought a harmony
between all gods and thus lifted themselves against the True God. It was
this act that angered God and caused Him to cause destruction of the tower.

In the case of the wall of Jericho the reason was the same. The city was
a prosperous city where the elite in society lived, it was surrounded by
hills on three sides but on one side stood two great walls and between
these walls were the temples of all the gods they worshipped.

There are few things that really angers God and one of them is mocking
the image of God in man by homosexuality like in the case of Sodom and
Gomorrah and the other is the unification of gods or religions like in
Babylon and Jericho.

We are witnessing a time when religions are unifying against the Truth
and the new Pope Francis is doing this at an accelerated rate. In the
few days he came he has caused many religion heads to rethink and come
together. People may think this to be good but they do not realize this
is one of the reasons that anger God the most.

Today's message talks of us once again witnessing a great calamity.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are Holy and Righteous, and nothing unholy can stand before
You. You consume all that tries to take or share your glory. There can
never be peace between darkness and light; light will always overpower
darkness. Lord, we know one thing even in these times those who are
yours will pass through it and your Hand will be over them, they will
not be consumed by your wrath...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Exodus 34:14 - (for thou shalt worship no other god: for Jehovah, whose
name is Jealous, is a jealous God);

Deuteronomy 4:24 - For Jehovah thy God is a devouring fire, a jealous God.

Deuteronomy 5:9 - thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve
them; for I, Jehovah, thy God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity
of the fathers upon the children, and upon the third and upon the fourth
generation of them that hate me;

Deuteronomy 6:14-15

14Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples that are
round about you;

15for Jehovah thy God in the midst of thee is a jealous God; lest the
anger of Jehovah thy God be kindled against thee, and he destroy thee
from off the face of the earth.

Joshua 24:19-20

19And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve Jehovah; for he is a
holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgression
nor your sins.

20If ye forsake Jehovah, and serve foreign gods, then he will turn and
do you evil, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

Nahum 1:2-3

2 Jehovah is a jealous God and avengeth; Jehovah avengeth and is full of
wrath; Jehovah taketh vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth
wrath for his enemies.

3Jehovah is slow to anger, and great in power, and will by no means
clear the guilty: Jehovah hath his way in the whirlwind and in the
storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

God is looking for Sons of Thunder
Mark 3:17 - And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James;
and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

In the Bible names are meaningful and even the nick names were given
with reason. Nicknames were mostly given to those who had common names.
Jesus too gave nicknames to people but mostly with a purpose connected
to the character or his relationship with that person.

Thomas was called Didymus which means two fold or twain or twin because
he showed a dual character of immense faith and also of faithlessness
and that too in a matter of seconds.

Jesus called Simon by the nick name Cephas which is an Aramaic word for
stone (Peter was the Greek translation of the Aramaic word). John's
Gospel is very specific and clear to note this fact. The word Cephas
symbolizes a person with half knowledge and we see Simon showed that
character throughout the Gospels where he puts his foot in his mouth
many a times.

We see Jesus called them names even before they started being part of
His ministry and exhibiting that character. Similarly we see in today's
message John and James were called Boanerges which means sons of
thunder. The name may sound like they were some Roman gods but the word
thunder here symbolizes zeal. When Jesus met them He could see the zeal
in them for the Kingdom of God.

If we look at scriptures we see they were the closest relatives of Jesus
after His own family His mother, brothers and sisters. John the Baptist
was not Jesus' first cousin but was son of Mary's cousin Elizabeth,
while John and James were sons of her actual sister Salome whom Jesus
also called by His mother's name Mary because He respected her and Mary
Magdalene (who was also an aged woman) as He did His mother, He never
differentiated between them.

We see among the 12, Jesus gave more priority to Peter, James and John
not because He love them more (Jesus loved all His disciples the same
for He had the nature of God in Him), like God Jesus also had favour on
some people more than the others not because of His relationship but
because of their mission or purpose in God's Kingdom.

James, John and Peter were selected to head the Church and this is what
we see Paul testifies in his letter to Galatians. This core group was
later expanded by the joining of Barnabas and Paul.

The selection of the 12 was not to do with running or heading the Church
but was symbolic like the 12 tribes of Israel. Similar to the tribes
when Levi and Joseph were removed from the list, they were replaced with
the two sons of Joseph. After they entered the Promised Land they were
not called by their tribe names but by the place they dwelled or their
belief. The people of Judah who followed Judaism were called Jews. The
believing people of Samaria were also mostly decedents of Israel but
were not called Jews but were called Samaritans. They did not follow
Judaism for they were a different sect and fought many (temple) battles
with the Jews but they too worshipped Jehovah. By the parable of Good
Samaritan Jesus showed understandings do not matter much but the nature
that is in us is what matters more. We are brethren not just because we
believe in Christ but more because we follow Christ.

We see in scriptures people who had zeal for the Kingdom of God were
used by God greatly. God is looking for people who are crazy for Him,
not just in understand or have knowledge of the Bible. Even if they lack
understanding like Peter did, God will open their minds and change them
and make them wise and bold as Peter was after Pentecost. He wants
people like Jeremiah who had a fire in his bones [which symbolises
nature] for God and His Kingdom or as Paul had even before he came to
know the Truth.

Today God is throwing the doors open for all those who want to be used
for the glory of God. He is saying all they need is to have a passion, a
crazy, a thirst, a commitment to saves souls, for the purpose of the
Kingdom of God on earth is all about saving souls and bringing them to
God. They do not need any ability in mind or body like skill or good
education or a strong body. God is saying He will provide all that they
need all they need is zeal.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, people look at serving You with what they have, they do not
realize all that they need to have is just a zeal, a passion to save
souls, all other things You provide. Since they try to serve You with
what they have they soon lose the purpose of serving You and land up
serving themselves. Lord, we pray a great fire in the bones of your
people, a crazy for your Kingdom such that the world can't hold or
control them...

This pray we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The children without a Father
Zechariah 9:6.7 - And a bastard [illegitimate child] shall dwell in
Ashdod [Power], and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines
[immigrants] .And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his
abominations [idolatries] from between his teeth: but he that remaineth,
even he, shall be for our God, and he shall be as a governor in Judah
[praise], and Ekron [immigration] as a Jebusite [former name for Jerusalem].

This Sunday I am meeting a group of people affiliated to a Korean cult
by the name World Mission Society Church Of God (WMSCOG) and they call
themselves Christians. These people believe their spiritual leader Ahn
Sahng-hong who was born Buddhist, later baptised in Seventh Day
Adventist (another cult church) was pastor there; they consider him as
the second coming Jesus Christ. They call him 'god' - Holy Spirit
(although on his tombstone he called himself Prophet Elijah) and his
wife (who is alive) as 'mother god', 'heavenly mother' and 'mother
Jerusalem' since she was his bride. The best part of this insanity is
that they quote scriptures from the Bible to prove their belief.

One of the craziest believes I learned of them is that they claim to
know the secret message what was written on the behind of the two Ten
Commandment tables which God gave Moses (while the Word of God says the
tables carried the Ten Commandments on both the sides). They believe the
secret message inscribed was the 7 thunders of Revelation and these 7
thunders symbolize the 7 (Jewish) feasts which they leader fulfilled in
bring back.

This group at 3 occasion' s prophesised doomsday which failed (like
Jehovah' s Witnesses) yet their members continue to believe in the
teachings of this 'church&# 39;. If I share more, those who are Word rooted
will have their heads spinning. I did not know to laugh or cry when I
was studying about this group, the only thing I can do is pray sense for
them.

It is only when insanity manifests at great levels people realize,
otherwise when it is in lesser amounts people continue to believe in
them. Today the largest Christian group is nothing less than this cult
they too are children of a 'heavenly mother', who have forgotten their
Heavenly Father and the words of His Son. In today's message the Lord
calls such children as illegitimate children. He says in today's message
He will take out the life out of the words of their leader and will
cause them to disperse in 3 directions. The good part of this message is
that God will save some of them from the deceit they are in.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray for your people who still are under the deceit of
insanity. Lord, we pray they see importance of holding on to your Word
which is lamp unto our lives and light unto our future. Lord, we pray
You quicken your Word into our lives...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Exodus 24:12And Jehovah said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount,
and be there: and I will give thee the tables of stone, and the law and
the commandment, which I have written, that thou mayest teach them.

Exodus 32:15-16
15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, with the two tables
of the testimony in his hand; tables that were written on both their
sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.

16And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing
of God, graven upon the tables.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 19 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Post  Admin Thu 21 Mar 2013, 12:13 am

The Righteous shall possess the land

Obadiah 1:19 - And they of the south shall possess the mount of Esau;
and they of the plain the Philistines: and they shall possess the fields
of Ephraim, and the fields of Samaria: and Benjamin shall possess Gilead.

A few days back a sister in the Lord was sharing with me her experience
when ministering a person on whom great calamity fell. He was asking her
why he being a Christian, worshiping a Living God had problems when the
unbelievers were enjoying life. As the sister shared more about his
family life we could see, although he knew God he denied God in his life.

Yesterday I was with a Man of God and we were just sharing on the
problems we were facing and we realized many along with us were
struggling great difficulties at the moment. That was a serious point of
concern.

We need to know those who are ignorant of the Truth are also ignored by
God. They may enjoy life or may completely perish in a moment. The Bible
calls them the grass of the field which, when time comes are gathered
and burnt. But Christians are called to be fruit bearing trees. It is on
these plants and trees that the husbandman works actively on. He puts
water, fertilizer, good soil and at times stretches it tying it various
points, prunes it and sprays insecticides on it so that we bear good
fruits.

As Christians we need to remember we are going to be worked on. We may
be spiritually infants or maturing greatly in spirit, yet we will be
worked on with the same zeal by the Holy Spirit. The struggle as a new
born Christian or as a mature Christian is the same, only the areas of
struggle vary. Until we cross the winning line all of us struggle.

When God called His people righteous it does not mean those who are not
struggling; it is only the unbelievers who do not struggle. Those who
pursue the winning line even while they struggle are the ones whom the
Lord calls His righteous. Like I shared in one of my previous messages
the term righteous used is not comparing to God's righteousness, for our
righteousness compared to Him are filthy rags, but compared to the Son
of Man Jesus Christ who judges us at the end as man not as God.

Today's message talks of a time in the timeline towards the end days
when the righteous will rule the world. This rule does not mean like
worldly ruling but means they will have spiritual victory over the false
religions that are flourishing now like Islam, Catholicism, prosperity
gospel believers and misguiding sects of Christianity.

In the 7 stages of the Church (7 letters in Revelation) we are currently
moving from the fourth to the fifth stage. It is in the sixth stage that
the Church of God shines in glory. It is in the sixth stage the world
will see the power of being a Christian and of knowing God. The last
seventh stage is when the Church will take God for granted. They will
forget the Lord because of all the blessings they have received and thus
they overcome the Lord. That is time the greatest deceit hits them (the
false prophet - son of perdition comes) and Satan is released from Hell.
After that Jesus Christ comes again with His Angels.

What is written in the Bible will surely come to pass and nothing can
stop it; but some things spoken by God we can delay or quicken by our
faith. God is telling us to believe in His Word and pursue righteousness
with all vigour. We may be facing great problems but we should not be
distracted or be burdened by them. We should trust God to help us
overcome them for He has said we His righteous will face many trails but
shall overcome. The word 'shall&# 39; assures us not by ourselves but with
His help; He will be with us through our trials. We should keep our eyes
focused on the harvest that the Lord has set for us, more than anything.

[Prayer Starters]

Lord, You have given us your Word and your Word tells us what is set for
us. Your Word Lord builds us and gives us the courage to pursue
tirelessly the things You have set for us. Lord we pray for all those
who are going through trials, that they do not lose hope, that You
strengthen them and carry them on your wings of grace...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

1 Peter 1:3-9

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according
to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection
of Jesus Christ from the dead,

4unto an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not
away, reserved in heaven for you,

5who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation
ready to be revealed in the last time.

6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be,
ye have been put to grief in manifold trials,

7that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold that
perisheth though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and
glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ:

8whom not having seen ye love; on whom, though now ye see him not, yet
believing, ye rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

9receiving the end of your faith, the salvation of souls.

Revelation 3:1-13

1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith
he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy
works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

2Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to
die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

3Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and
repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a
thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

4Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their
garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I
will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess
his name before my Father, and before his angels.

6He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things
saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David,
he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

8I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no
man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word,
and hast not denied my name.

9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are
Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and
worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

10Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try
them that dwell upon the earth.

11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man
take thy crown.

12Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and
he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God,
and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh
down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

13He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

2 Thessalonians 2:2-4

2That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit,
nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come,
except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed,
the son of perdition;

4Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that
is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God.

Stages:
Falling away
Sin be revealed
Son of perdition

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 19 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Guard your senses
Ezekiel 40:28,29 - And he brought me to the inner court by the south
gate: and he measured the south gate according to these measures; And
the little chambers thereof, and the posts thereof, and the arches
thereof, according to these measures: and there were windows in it and
in the arches thereof round about: it was fifty cubits long, and five
and twenty cubits broad.

In the Bible Peter asked Jesus how many times are we expected to forgive
a person and Jesus told him seventy times seven. Most people understand
this as an infinite number (since they consider 7 as a cardinal number)
and therefore conclude that we should always forgive people. But that is
not the right understanding.

There are times in the Bible the Apostles and even Jesus gave up on
people and we see all cases they do so up on to a common reason. Jesus
never said all sins will be forgiven and all will be saved.

We as Christians are not called to be perpetual punching bags but are
called to be cushions of love. We are told to what extend we should go
and at what stage we should put our foot down and let God deal with people.

It is by the study of Bible Numerics we get the right understanding of
what Jesus said. The number 7 is the number which symbolizes the Holy
Spirit, Who is with us. Through His instruction Jesus told us we should
forgive people not by our strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit,
but in the same instruction He also told us when we should stop
forgiving people and should step back and let God deal with people. We
should remember we really are not the people who do the forgiving but as
representatives of God we can be in the way or be the way for people to
receive forgiveness.

Jesus tell us we should forgive people for all the things they do
against us or even what they do against God but when they sin or
blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, it is time we stop forgiving and step
back. We should forgive 70 times 7 (power of the Holy Spirit) but when
the cross 7 (Holy Spirit) we should let God deal with them.

In today's message too we see a blend of Bible Numerics and Bible Image
Study.

The temple written in Ezekiel 40, 41 and 42 talk of the inner-man
(soul). The design and measurements given give great detailed
instructions of how we should live our lives and how we can overcome and
be like Jesus.

Today's message instructs about being alert at all times. We are spirit
being living in this natural world and our spirit is connected to this
world through our inner-man and our inner man connects to this world
through our 5 senses. What we see, hear, feel, smell and taste is what
gets into us from this world. In the Bible God tells us not to be like
pigs which consume everything that even from far looks edible. The Bible
tells us to discern ever thing that enters us through our senses.

Regarding things of this world which do not build us spiritually we may
look but we should not see, we may hear but should not listen, we may
touch but should not feel, we may smell but should not let the scent set
in us and we may taste but should not let the flavour drive us. We are
spirit being driven by our spirit not by our senses. We may live in this
world but should not let the world live in us. We become righteousness
when we master the art of controlling our senses and discerning all that
enters us according to the Word of God by the help of the Holy Spirit
(Spirit of Truth).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You made us in your image but sin corrupted us. Lord by your
sacrifice forgive us of our sins but the world does not leave us and
tries to corrupt us again. You gave us your Spirit so that with the help
of the Holy Spirit we will discern all things that enters us through our
senses and defiles us. Help us Lord to control our senses and while
living in this world let us not let the world live in us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt
forgive him.

5And when Silas and Timotheus were come from Macedonia, Paul was pressed

6And when they opposed themselves, and blasphemed, he shook his raiment,

Luke 6:8-10

8And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely:
for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the

9And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of
unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may receive you into

10He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much:
and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,
therefore the world hateth you.

Why do we need children?

1 Samuel 1:8 - Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest
thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I
better to thee than ten sons?

Almost every week someone or the other is have talks on marriage. People
love when someone talks about how love should bind couples in marriages.
They speak of the commitment one should have to the other, sacrificing for
each other, in short they see marriage as relationship between a man and
woman.

When I looked at marriage in the Bible I was surprised to learn something
totally different to what the world, including preachers in the Church
preach about marriage. People including preachers put love as the
foundation of marriage and then because they lack understanding of love,
they put romance as love. They then think affection between a husband and
wife is highest priority of love.

In my previous messages I have not taken this topic head-on. I always tried
to induce slowly the values of marriage. In the Bible marriage is not more
about the couple that come in commitment to each other, marriage is more
about their commitment than about the people who commit. Love without
purpose is not the love which God talks of, that is why many translations
translate agape as charity more than love and agapao as love.

As Christians we are called to love (agape) everyone in the Christian
Family (brethren). This love is like the love which Christ demonstrated for
us. Now unless someone can love more than Christ’s love, there is no
difference between the love one has for his wife or her husband than the
love one has for his or her brethren.

When Adam took Eve as his wife he called her Woman, a man (human) with a
womb and mother of his generations. Marriage is more to do with children
than with the people who come together in marriage. The purpose of marriage
is more about the souls that are bought than the souls that bring them.

Romance is marriage is allowed like sex in marriage is allowed. God made
the reproductive organs for reproduction but man put importance to pleasure
than the purpose they are made for. Marriage happens when the two come to
know each other and not when they make a commitment to each other, it
happens when they demonstrate the commitment fulfilling the purpose of
marriage.

People should also not think marriage is all about reproduction. Marriage
is not only about bringing souls but also bringing up souls. It is about
nurturing the children in body, mind and spirit, making them a strong part
of the Body of Christ.

I pray to see the day when the bridegroom will take vows at marriage with
words ‘would you (husband) take (wife) to be the mother of your children.
To love them, nurture them and bring them up in the Lord’, and the same
told also to the bride.

A marriage without children in the Bible is considered a cursed marriage.
It demonstrated the wrath of God, such that He closed the womb. The best
gift a man can have is to receive a godly child, a child is different than
a child of God or child of the flesh. A godly child has great purpose in
the plans God has from the Church in other words is a Man or Woman of God.

We need to understand in this world we are just playing a role as husband
and wife. In Heaven we are neither husbands nor wives to anyone, we will
all be of the same gender (not earthly gender) called Sons of God. Jesus
said we would be like the Angels not given in marriage. Even our children
and grandchildren would be our brethren for us, for us as spirit beings we
will have only Father - God. There is no difference between the children we
bring out of our flesh and those that we bring of spirit. That is why Jesus
said any person who abides by the Will of His Father is His mother, sister
and brother.

Marriage in short is a statute to learn and understand things that are
Heavenly. Marriage is not only between humans but true marriage is only
between Believers (children of God) everything else is consensual
agreements. Marriage is not a commandment but more a part of our role and
purpose (if it is else is a way to escape temptation). That is why Paul
says those who are not called for marriage and have the grace to overcome
the weakness of the flesh should not get marriage. Our spiritual role and
purpose in this world is top priority above all other things we have in
this world and that role is to build the Body of Christ; marriage and
everything else comes second.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray that You open the minds of your people to understand their
purpose in this world, that they understand life is much more than the time
we spend in this body of flesh. Lord your people have made this flesh which
is a prison to their soul and spirit as their world, their mind and spirit
is restricted to the things of the flesh. Lord, we pray your people may
understand Love the way You demonstrated it and thus understand the Wedding
that awaits us in Heaven...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Genesis 2:18-24

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I
will make him an help meet for him.

19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and
every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call
them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name
thereof.

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to
every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for
him.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept:
and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman,
and brought her unto the man.

23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she
shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave
unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the
mother of all living.

Matthew 22:23-30

23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no
resurrection, and asked him,

24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his
brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had
married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his
brother:

26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

27 And last of all the woman died also.

28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for
they all had her.

29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the
scriptures, nor the power of God.

30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage,
but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Matthew 1:24-25 (Joseph became Jesus’ legal father after He was born and
not at the time of His birth)

24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had
bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he
called his name JESUS.

Matthew 12:50 - For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in
heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

The Hebrew word translated as wife also means woman. In Greek it also has
root mean ‘be fulfilled’.

Matthew 19:12 - For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their
mother’s womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men:
and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of
heaven’s sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it. (Eunuch
meaning official of high status represents here anointed Men of God
emphasizing some are born Men of God, some are made by men and some make
themselves one).

Cherethities the Lord is against you

Zephaniah 2:5a - Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea coast, the nation
of the Cherethites! the word of the LORD is against you;

About 3 years back (10th of Feb 2010) I was given a message about what
was going to happen in the Middle East and who is going to be behind the
fall of events in the Middle East. Then again after a year (6th Feb
2012) there was a very clear message of the devastation that is going to
engulf the Arab nations, to what the extent it would spread and for how
long this would continue.

When it started in Tunisia (just because a women officer slapped a man
and he immolated himself) in December of 2010 people never thought it
would spread. In February when it spread to Egypt then people started to
realize this was country specific but was going to affect the region in
whole.

When I sent the message I had people mocking me or arguing with me as to
my misinterpretation or misunderstanding of scriptures. Then just a week
later was born the term Arab Spring. People thought this would change
the Arab nations and make them democratic / westernized. Many were
anxious to see good happen there, but they did not know they were
witnessing the birth of a monster that would cause untold destruction
and death. As of end of 2012 the numbers of accounted deaths crossed
hundred thousand and destruction spread over 18 countries putting them
either in civil war, overthrown governments, caused major protests and
disorder.

People are thinking this will stop with implementation of Islamic law
(Sharia) in its true form like it was done by the Taliban in
Afghanistan, implemented in all these and other countries which will
soon fall into this swamp.

The Lord is telling us this is not just a normal swamp but a sinking
swamp and it will only end with the inhalation of Islam. The more the
struggle will cause faster sinking of this religion. This will not be
restricted to Arab countries but will affect all countries will large
Muslim citizens.

In the last message we were told the sects of Islam will start to get to
each other and the reason is, according to the Quran there is no one
worse in the whole world than a heretic Muslim. Even an infidel can be
forgiven (by paying a price) but a heretic has to be put to death
immediately, there is no forgiveness for him.

Islam has about 73 sects with the Sunni and Shias being the major sects
(according to them only one will enter Paradise). What we know of Islam
is mostly the Sunni belief. The Shia mainly differs due to the Twelvers.
They like the Catholics elevate Mary to the highest position. They have
Muhammad and Mary (Fatima) on the top and then the twelve Imams, who
they believe will appear just before Qiyamah (Judgement Day). There is
also the growing Sufi group who can be compared to Charismatic
Catholics. The Sufi believes in striving to experience God but without
knowledge and study of scriptures. They focus more on poems, songs,
music etc. (while Muhammad hated all these as per to the Quran).

According to the Quran a true Muslim is the one who loves Allah and
follows Muhammad. The follow means literately do what Muhammad did that
is why they have the 5 pillars of Islam which are all the rituals
Muhammad did. This 'follow&# 39; includes the 'holy wars' Muhammad fought and
the mass murders he did. Leaving aside the sects all Muslims can be
divided into 2 lots, either a Jihadi Muslim or a confused Muslim who is
ignorant of his belief.

God is telling us in today's message He is against this nation of
Cherethites (meaning 'executioners&# 39;). He is telling us He will cause a
total inhalation of this nation with none being found. That does not
means western countries will fight against the Islamic countries but
means the Muslims will fight with each other and will kill each other.
This may start immediately or after some months, but surely within a
year for the Arab spring is here for another 2 years.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are merciful but also slow to anger. That means even though
You forgive when people repent, yet You do get angry when people go
against You. You hold back your anger and do not let your wrath destroy
people, but when the limits You set are crossed we have seen in history
You have caused great calamities to come on mankind. Lord we pray for
your people, especially those weak in heart, that they be strengthened
and do not lose faith, but hold on to You and your Word till this dark
cloud passes over us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The fight between the sects
Daniel 11:11 - And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and
shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north:
and he shall set forth a great multitude; but the multitude shall be
given into his hand.

This prophecy of the king of south engaging the king of the north was
fulfilled in the natural when Ptolemy Philopater engaged Antiochus.
Ptolemy Philopater ruled over Egypt and Antiochus over Syria.

One may wonder why the Lord has given us this message today.

The Lord is telling us this prophecy will once again come true and this
time the battle will be these 2 same groups.

People are most mistaken about the unity of the Muslim Brotherhood. The
Muslim Brotherhood of Egypt, Tunisia, Jordan and Morocco have
differences with the Brotherhood of Muslims in Syria. This Brotherhood
is divided along the lines of sectism.

The Lord is telling us soon we will see a new level of fighting between
Sunni and Shia sects of Islam unlike we have experienced before.

I am sure many Christians have prayed when the Christians houses in
Pakistan were burnt down and their lives destroyed. My heart too went
out for them. Remember our prayers do not go vain. The Lord is telling
us He is soon going to cause a shaking in the foundation of Islam. He
will cause them to go at the throats of each other and kill each other.

Let us pray those who are children of God having the seed of faith and
still among them will have their eyes open and see the vanity in this
religion of death. That they receive the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are
saved.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray for your lost sheep that are still among the Muslims. We
pray with the turn of events their eyes open and they see the vanity
they believe in. That chose life over death, they chose love over hate,
Truth over foolishness. ..

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The legion unfolded - mystery of one or two
Matthew 8:28-34,Mark 4:1-21, Luke 8:26-40

The 2 men with a legion in Matthew with the 1 man with a legion in Mark
and Luke

Initially as I was studying the Bible my faith was shaken with the
recording between Matthew, Mark and Luke about the man/men with a legion
of unclean spirit. For me even 1 error in the Bible can destroy my faith
since I do believe it as infallible Word of God.

God did save me from falling by opening the structure and design of the
Bible (books) and through that I learned about Callings. But this event
still was a thorn in my belief until someone recorded all the events of
the Gospel into its chronicle order and to my surprise I saw that the
event recorded in Matthew was the recording of a separate event which
happened in the winter of AD27 and the event recorded in Mark and Luke
happened in start of AD30. Jesus had not delivered just one person from
a legion of spirit but at one time 2 men and the other time 1 man one at
Gergesenes (means 'a stranger drawing near') and other at Gadarenes
(means 'reward at the end') respectively.

People think Gergesenes (Gergesa) and Gadarenes (Gadara) are names of
the same place since the common reference to the Sea of Galilee. These
assumptions have caused people to think in the fallibility of scriptures.

Firstly although Gadara and Gergesa are both on the banks of the Sea of
Galilee yet they refer to 2 different places. Gadara is about 5.5 mile
inland compared to Gergesa which is on the bank. And they are about 12
to 15 miles apart from each other.

The historian who put the events in chronicle order put the events in
the following order:-

Sermon on the Mount - Matthew 5:1-7:29

Healing of leper - Matthew 8:2-4; Mark 1:40-45; Luke 5:12-15

Crosses the Sea of Galilee to Gaulanitis before that he meets a scribe
and confronts on of His disciples (winter of AD27) - Matthew 8:18-22;
Luke 9:57-62

Calming of storm after getting up from His sleep while traveling from
Gaulanitis across the Sea of Galilee - Matthew 8:23-26

Meeting the 2 demonic men - Matthew 8:28-9:1

Goes into the wilderness to pray - Luke 5:16

Left Caesarea Philippi and went to Galilee (late Nov or early Dec of
AD29) - Matthew 17:22; Luke 8:1-3

Disciples argue who is greatest - Matthew 18:1-34; Mark 9:33-37

Goes to Capernaum where Peter pays the special Temple tax with the coin
found in a fish's mouth - Matthew 17:24-27

Parables or Sower, tares, mustard seed, mustard plant, lamp on a stand,
leaven in a loaf of bread, household treasure, treasure in a field,
pearl of great price, casting a net, householder - Matthew 13:1-52; Mark
4:1-32; Luke 8:5-18

Calming the storm (Dec 30 / Jan 1 of AD29) - Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:23-25

Confronts man with a legion - Mark 5:1-21; Luke 8:27-40

Return to Capernaum and meet Jarius - Mark 5:21-43; Luke 8:40-56

Another interesting fact that comes from this understanding is that the
events in the Gospel of Matthew and Mark are based on their individually
meeting the witnesses and they did not refer to each other's records
like people think. Even though they look like a subset of each other yet
they are not and common between them were just the witnesses. It only
shows the accuracy of their recordings.

Luke on the other hand did a compilation of all the recording / Gospels
existing at that time after verifying them all along with Paul and the
other Apostles / disciple so as to compliment them (including the
Gospels of Matthew and Mark). Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are the only
Gospels that found from the 1st century, the other so called gospels
that claim to be by people existing with Jesus like Gospel of Thomas or
of Mary the Magdalene are from the 3rd or 4th century.

After understanding this it assures us that the Word of God is
infallible and so also is our hope of salvation in Him.

[Prayer starter]

Lord, we know You are perfect and so also is your Word. Lord we pray
your people put their whole trust in your Word. Even though at times
they may not understand, let them know it is the limitation of their
mind and not the limitation of your Word...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Matthew 8:28-34

Mark 4:1-21

Luke 8:26-40

Luke 1:1-4

1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a
declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,

2Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were
eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word;

3It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all
things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent
Theophilus,

4That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou
hast been instructed.

2 Timothy 4:11-13

11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is
profitable to me for the ministry.

12And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.

13The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring
with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 19 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Post  Admin Sat 09 Mar 2013, 4:20 pm

People of God, why are your bones dried, hope lost?
Ezekiel 37:11 - Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the
whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our
hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

Today I will share something in Bible Image Study.

When God created all the creatures of the natural world, He created some
vertebrates and some invertebrates, meanings some with bones and some
without (also called soft bodied). So bones are not required to live but
among the vertebrates they play a very important role. One of the most
important roles bones play is they give form and structure to the being.

Bible says life is in the blood and it is the bone marrow which does the
job of making blood cells which are the main constituents of the blood.

When God made man, He stated He made man in 'His image', this image was
not limited to the concept of body, soul (inner-man) and spirit which
depict the Godhead but even the physical structure and physical design
of man if understood can help man understand God. That does not mean God
looks like man but means even though God is Spirit yet by the design of
man one can understand the nature of God and His Kingdom.

When God created man He took some dust moulded it and that became the
body of man, then He put in it the spirit of man into this body and man
became a living soul. People think God put in man His Spirit, if that
was the case then Adam would have been called Christ which means man
with the Spirit of God, which is not the case. Jesus was the first Man
with the Spirit of God; those before Him were not born with the Spirit
of God nor had God dwelling in them. They had the Spirit come over them
for a period of time or for a mission. It was only at Pentecost people
(Church) were given the Holy Spirit (the Apostles received before Jesus
ascended when He breath into them, at Pentecost they along with others
were baptized in the Holy Spirit).

Genesis in short says when the spirit of man (both male and female which
was made in the image of God) was put into the body, the soul or
inner-man came alive or mouldable.

When we die our body perishes but our spirit does not, also do not our
soul or inner-man. Our inner-man after death stops becoming mouldable,
in other words non changeable. That is why everything about us to be
saved, or the extend we reap in Heaven is only possible when we are
alive, when our soul or inner-man is mouldable. Our faith, knowledge,
character, will all are in our inner-man thus we are judged according to
our inner-man. Once we die we cannot do any changes to our inner-man.
Born again in other words means bring the image of the inner-man back to
how God created - in His image and overcoming means keeping it that way.

People are actually identified by the inner-man and not by the body. An
identical twin will look externally the same yet they are 2 different
beings, their nature even though may be alike in many area yet they will
not be the same fully. If we swap the inner-man of 2 people with their
bodies, we will identify them by their inner-man not their body.

On a broad physical scale the flesh symbolizes our desires in turn
symbolizes the body, the bones the character (inner-man) and the bone
marrow the spirit. Life (blood) comes from the spirit (bone marrow) and
it is the bones (character / inner-man) which give shape to our being.

The flesh symbolizes the desires of man, the bones his nature and his
bone marrow his spirit. Although the human flesh (desires) of Jesus was
bruised yet God did not allow the bones (nature) of Jesus to be broken
because His nature was perfect and in the image of God.

When God created woman He made her by taking the bone of man and the
flesh of man, meaning although she was in spirit made in the image of
God yet in the natural she was made in the image of man with the desires
and nature of man. That is why we have marriage only among humans, which
in another words marriage symbolizes the coming of God and man together
in other words marriage symbolizes Christ. It is through the
understanding of marriage we can understand Christ for it is a statute
of what will happen in Heaven when we become one with God the Son.

People normally say a person has a heart for God. This is because in
English translations the Hebrew word 'labe' which means the inner-man
(which includes mind, thoughts) is also translated as heart, then people
symbolize it with the organ heart. But when we study the Bible these
people will look foolish for we see Jeremiah stated he loved God from
the depth of his bones. He stated the fire in his bones did not allow
him to stop doing the things which God asked of him even though at times
he found them destroying more than building, leading man to suffer more
than blessing them. He did not go by what he understood but did what the
Spirit led him to, because he had a passion for God in the depth of his
bones (nature / inner-man).

Today's message is telling us we the people of God lack passion for God,
our bones are like dead bones. We have failed to show the nature of God
in us. It is for this reason the world lacks hope.

God is telling us He wants to see life in our inner-man; our character
or nature that has a passion for God and His Kingdom. It is only when
from within we desire God, work for Him, live Him, not because we feel
good or we see something good is happening but because we love God. We
may land up like Jeremiah doing things which may shake the lives of
people or like John the Baptist bring hard sense in them by strong words
or like Jesus with strong actions and sharp words, but unless we do what
God leads us from within, this world will lack hope.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, the world does not know You or experience your Power because your
people have failed You. Your people lack the fire in their bone. They
love from the flesh according to world desires and thinking. Lord we
pray this Sword (Word) pierce them and split the joints of their bones
from their marrow. That it ignites a fire in their bones and they cause
change in this world. That the world experiences your Power...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Genesis 1:26-27

26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and
let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of
the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every
creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he

Genesis 2:7-8,21-24

7And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed

the man whom he had formed.

21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept:
and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;

22And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman,
and brought her unto the man.

23And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh:
she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

24Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall
cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for

8It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Ecclesiastes 11:5 - As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit,
nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so
thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.

Isaiah 66:14 - And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your
bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be
known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.

prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath
turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day.

Ephesians 5:30 - For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of
his bones.

Hebrews 4:12 - For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper
than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul
and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.

March 5
Why Christ is Irresistible

"I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself."
JOHN 12:32

The increase of Christ does not coerce, it compels; He does not push, He merely draws. The increase of Christ actually enables a person to choose the right way, the way that leads to Life. It is evil that deceives people into choosing the wrong path. Everyone born into this world comes into it as a fallen creature. If they had a full understanding of their spiritual condition, and the deliverance that is offered by and through the Lord Jesus, then they would, of course, choose to be delivered.
People only resist what they do not know and understand. Jesus does not have to manipulate anyone. Once a person with eyes wide open sees Him for Who He is, they will always choose Him. He is irresistible. And as He increases, as He is lifted up, He will draw all men unto Himself.

God does not delight in the legs of a man
Psalms 147:10 - He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he
taketh not pleasure in the legs (thigh / shoulder) of a man.

People may be taken back by the title of today's message and the message
itself. Unless one has the knowledge of Bible Image Study one will never
understand this message.

In the Bible we see people like Job, Daniel and even Solomon in the OT
had the wisdom to understand the symbolism in which the Lord spoke not
only in His Word but also through His creation. When God created all
beings in creation He did in an image according to His kind and their
kind yet He said all is good. That is why even though God forbid eating
of some animals by classifying them unclean yet we see it was God who
gave an okay to Peter to eat all animals. The clean and unclean had
nothing to do with the animal but with their image, what they symbolize.

One can eat a pig but not live the nature of the pig which consumes all
things without discerning thus living a life in filth. Also when Satan
came as a snake it did not mean a real snake but meant he came to
deceive for the snake symbolizes deceit. It was the deceit of Satan that
has caused man to see good and bad (fruit of doubt) in creation even
though God said all that He created was good. The only thing bad was
Satan himself. So in other words man who was innocent of evil came to
know evil by eating the fruit of doubt. Therefore it is only by faith
(the antidote of doubt being faith) that we can be saved, for by faith
we tap into the grace of God made available by Jesus Christ. Jesus
crushes the head of deceit (the snake) by giving us the Spirit of Truth.

Before I come to today's message there is one more thing I like to
clear. The word used here for legs specify a certain upper part of the
limb that would mean either thigh or shoulder. According to Bible Image
Study both these have symbolization. Shoulder symbolizes teaching and
thigh symbolizes prophecy. Also the horse symbolizes prosperity or
progress, moving from one phrase to another.

In today's message God is telling us He does not delight in the efforts
man makes to prosper, nor does He delight in the teachings or prophecies
of man. In the very next scripture God gives reason why. He states He
takes pleasure in them that fear Him or know Him or have the knowledge
of who He is, and those that hope in His mercy.

We need to understand God did not complicate life but man did by not
trusting God. It was due to sin that creation became an enemy of man.
Dead was never a part of man but due to sin man was driven far from God
and therefore dead came into the life of man. Fear of God or our
knowledge of who God is, brings us closer to God. We also need to note
it is the mercy of God that keeps us before Him, or else things could be
unimaginable to man knowing the fact that our God is a Righteous God.

God tells us to be a vessel not a cook, let Him work in us and through
us. As cooks we may succeed to some extend but soon all our success
comes to a naught. God takes delights in us when we overcome doubt and
know He can do all things through us, even though we may be still
unworthy before Him yet because He is merciful He will not consume us.
He has made a way for us to approach Him because He is God who loves us.

Let us not try by our strength and annoy God but let us surrender to Him
and be vessels through whom He can work. Let us give pleasure, delight
and glory to our Creator by knowing Him and trusting Him.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we ask for forgiveness for the times we have not acknowledged You
in our lives, when we have tried to do things by our strength and for
the times we have felt hopeless in life when calamities surrounded us.
We know You are God and there is nothing impossible for You. Even though
You get angry with us for disobeying You yet your mercy keeps us from
your wrath. Lord, your Love covers us and keeps You with us in our lives...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

have kissed each other.

2And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over
all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:

3And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God
of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the
daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 19 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

The Godless will perish

Job 27:21 - The east wind carries him away, and he is gone; It sweeps
him out of his place.

If one reads Job 27:8-23 Job talks about what happens to the Godless
person. Among the many things stated by Job are things like the Godless
will build a wealth which will be like a curse to him, he will not be
able to enjoy it and it will be enjoyed by someone else. He and his
children will be victims to disease and calamities.

We all know that nothing good happens to a Godless person, so I do not
have to go into the details of it. But I would like to touch on the
classification of a Godless person.

If someone is asked who is a Godless person and the answer will quickly
come as one who does not know God the creator. One who worships idols,
false gods etc...

My question is would be can a Christian who knows God and worships God
still be a Godless person? The answer is YES.

Let us understand who a Godless person is.

Let me explain it this was if a person is possessed with an evil spirit,
it does not mean that the evil spirit is a virus that has infected the
body of the person. In some cases we will see physical manifestation of
a possessed person but the possession is more spiritual than physical.
It has to do with the inner-man of the person being controlled or
influenced by the evil spirit. There are times such a person would be
normal and suddenly be transformed into evil. Mostly when there is true
worship or anointing around such a person will manifest. This means the
control is not continuous but on and off. It matters under whose
influence the inner-man is that we see the result.

When it comes to a Godly person the same is applicable. When our
inner-man is influenced by the Word of God or the Spirit of God we are
called Godly people.

Thus we see a Godless is not a person who does not know God, he or she
may be knowing god and trembling at it like Satan does but if that
person is not influenced by God then that person is called a Godless person.

Being Godly is not a onetime stamp of approval. Being Godly is a process
in which we grow to be more and more Godlier. It is a process of abiding
more and more in the Word of God and submitting to the Spirit of the
Lord. It is a process of being more and more like Christ.

We need to ask ourselves are we Godly people or Godless people? If
Godly, how Godly, how much of our life is influenced by God and His
Word? In other words let us ask ourselves how much of Christ is in us?
Do people see Christ in us, not only by our words but also by our way of
life?

Being in Christ gives us eternal life and a blessed life, and being far
from Christ mean perishing.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are life and your Word is life. Lord, we are called Godly when
we have life in us, when we have You and your Word in us. Lord, we pray
that we get more and more rooted in your Word and we always be in
relationship with You communicating with You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Job 27:8-23

8What hope do people without God have when life is cut short? when God
puts an end to life?

9Do you think God will listen to their cry for help when disaster hits?

10What interest have they ever shown in the Almighty? Have they ever
been known to pray before?

11 "I' ve given you a clear account of God in action, suppressed nothing
regarding God Almighty.

12The evidence is right before you. You can all see it for yourselves,
so why do you keep talking nonsense?

13"I' ll quote your own words back to you: "'This is how God treats the
wicked, this is what evil people can expect from God Almighty:

14Their children-all of them-will die violent deaths; they'll never have
enough bread to put on the table.

15They'll be wiped out by the plague, and none of the widows will shed a
tear when they're gone.

16Even if they make a lot of money and are resplendent in the latest
fashions,

17It's the good who will end up wearing the clothes and the decent who
will divide up the money.

18They build elaborate houses that won't survive a single winter.

19They go to bed wealthy and wake up poor.

20Terrors pour in on them like flash floods-a tornado snatches them away
in the middle of the night,

21A cyclone sweeps them up-gone! Not a trace of them left, not even a
footprint.

22Catastrophes relentlessly pursue them; they run this way and that, but
there's no place to hide-

23Pummeled by the weather, blown to kingdom come by the storm.'

Can we come before God?
Job 11:4 - For thou hast said [to God], My doctrine is pure, and I am
clean in thine eyes.

In today's message we read the friend of Job reprimands Job for
considering himself a righteous person for he thought he knew things of
the Kingdom of God and according to what he knew he did right.

On one hand we have God calling Job righteous yet on the other hand we
also have God stating the righteousness of man are like rags and none
were found righteous or worthy until the coming of Jesus. We see at the
end Job was also corrected by the Lord for considering himself righteous
and had lost the favour of God but by Job humbling himself and lifting
(praying for) his friends he was against considered righteous and again
he came into the favour of God.

We also have religious people who consider themselves righteous and
Jesus referred to them as white washed tombs. Which meant they did works
of 'righteousness& #39; or made themselves look righteous but those were dead
works like the spirit inside them [hypothetically] .

What then is righteousness?

Righteousness simply means doing right. Like faith does not mean just
believing but means believing in that which is unchanging and there is
nothing that the same forever other than God and His Word. Therefore
faith means believing in God and His Word. We can have hope or trust in
people or things of the world but not faith.

Similarly righteousness also has to do with doing right according to
something or someone. We may be righteous according to the world for the
world may see us doing right according to its eyes. Thus when we call
ourselves or are referred to as righteous we need to note according to whom.

The Pharisees were called righteous people by the Jews because they did
the traditions of Jews as to what the Jews understood of the words given
by Moses or other Prophets. Jesus and the Apostles rebuked the Jews for
having no understanding of what Moses spoke or what the other Prophets
spoke. So we see righteousness is not only dependant on according to
whom but also according to the understanding of the person or his words.

The book of Job is the oldest book of the Bible. Job was before Moses
and yet we see Job had great knowledge of the Kingdom of God. Job was
blessed with great wisdom such that by understading creation which was
done according to the image of the things of the Kingdom of God, Job
could understand the things of the Kingdom of God [what I call Bible
Image Study]. That is why we see this books hold names of lots of
animals, birds, stars etc...

In today's message we see Zophar the friend of Job first attends to the
limitation of the knowledge of Job before reminding Job about his
problem with righteousness. Zophar tells Job about the never ending
wisdom and knowledge of God and what we know is not even a fraction of
the wisdom of God.

In my last post we saw man and Angels can know only what God has spoken
or what is given unto us. That is why Jesus (who was God who humbled and
came as man), as man was limited in His knowledge and did not know the
hour when the end would come for He knew only that which is given or
spoke by God. Paul too says he knew in part and preached in part and as
he knew more the parts changed and grew greater.

It was just last week I was surprised to learn that we are called
righteous not according to God but according to the Son of God who came
as man. According to God we stand no comparison but are saved and can
come before God with boldness because He does not require us to meet His
standard of righteousness (which we cannot for we cannot know beyond the
Word of God) but has called us to meet the standards of Jesus the Son of
Man.

Jesus tells us on Judgment Day we will be judged not by God but by man
or Son of man Jesus according to the Word of God given unto man.

God is telling us we are unworthy to come before Him but because of His
Son we can come boldly before Him and it is only because of His Son we
too are called righteous and Family. We call Gos Father and one can come
before one's Father any time.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we are sinners and corrupted with the things of this world. But
the Day we accepted Jesus as our Saviour, Lord and Master and received
your Spirit, the work of change has started in us. Today when we come
before You it is not for who we are but only because of your Son Jesus
we can come before You. He has made a way to You and we thank You for
that Way. Holy Spirit take us more and more closer to our Father...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Job 11:4-14

4For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes.

5But oh that God would speak, and open his lips against thee;

6And that he would shew thee the secrets of wisdom, that they are double
to that which is! Know therefore that God exacteth of thee less than
thine iniquity deserveth.

7Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty
unto perfection?

8It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what
canst thou know?

9The measure thereof is longer than the earth, and broader than the sea.

10If he cut off, and shut up, or gather together, then who can hinder him?

11For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then
consider it?

12For vain man would be wise, though man be born like a wild ass's colt.

13If thou prepare thine heart, and stretch out thine hands toward him;

14If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness
dwell in thy tabernacles.

Matthew 16:27 - For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father
with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 19:28-30

28And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have
followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the
throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the
twelve tribes of Israel.

29And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or
father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake,
shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

30But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

Luke 9:56 - For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but
to save them.

John 3:14-15

14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the
Son of man be lifted up:

15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 5:22-29

22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto
the Son:

23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He
that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and
believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come
into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

25Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when
the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear
shall live.

26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to
have life in himself;

27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is
the Son of man.

28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are
in the graves shall hear his voice,

29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection
of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

30I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment
is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father
which hath sent me.

John 12:30-34

30Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for
your sakes.

31Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world
be cast out.

32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33This he said, signifying what death he should die.

34The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ
abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up?
who is this Son of man?

Revelation 1:13-20

13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of
man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps
with a golden girdle.

14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his
eyes were as a flame of fire;

15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and
his voice as the sound of many waters.

16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a
sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his
strength.

17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right
hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for

19Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and

20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and

seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the
seven churches. 13And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like
unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt
about the paps with a golden girdle.

14His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his

15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and
his voice as the sound of many waters.

16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a

20The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and
the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the

seven churches.

Adversaries the Lord stirs

1 Kings 11:23 - And God stirred him up another adversary, Rezon the son
of Eliadah, which fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah:

King Solomon was blessed by the Lord in knowledge and in wisdom and he
has become a part of everyday man's daily phrase when someone is
acknowledged for their knowledge and wisdom, he or she is compared to
Solomon.

Even today we hear preachers talk about the wisdom of Solomon. But none
point to the foolishness of Solomon. Foolishness associated with Solomon
may come as a surprise to many.

Even after receiving all the knowledge and wisdom from the Lord and fame
from the four corners of the world yet this great wise man did the most
foolish act. Although having so much knowledge of the Kingdom of God
which can be seen in Songs of Solomon, including the knowledge of the
world yet we see because of his lust for women this wise man became
mentally blinded and acted like a fool. As he got old his wives led him
to worship not one but at least 3 gods / goddesses. He had almost 1000
women in his life.

He worshipped Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, Chemosh the god of
the Moabites, and Milcom the god of the children of Ammon.

God raised adversaries against Solomon because not only he worshipped
these gods but also caused the whole of Israel to worship them.

In my previous messages I have spoken of how Ashtoreth is come unto us
as Mary the Mother of Jesus and is worshipped even today. This goddess
still keeps all the titles bestowed on her since the time of David and
Solomon. Worshipping Mary is also considered worshipping the dead (but
actually is an evil spirit imitating her).

The second god Milcom means 'king or ruler' and we see the Catholic
Church also worships this god. They consider the Pope as their king. The
Pope holds this title official even today. It is not about being just a
king but he is a spiritual king for them and calls himself 'king of
kings and lord or lords', this title the Pope took on himself in 1400AD
and is written on his triple crown. According to the Catholic Church he
holds the authority to correct God's Word. I also pointed out in my
previous message the Greek word for worship also means kissing of hand.
This gesture is done to the Pope or those who represent him in other
words they worship man (find listed below quotation from some of the
official Catholic documents).

The third god Chemosh was depicted by a shield, sword and lance. If one
checks these are the weapon shown in pictures of the Catholic Church as
held by Archangel Michael to defeat evil. Firstly this church does no
know who this Archangel Michael is, if only they connect scriptures of
Daniel, Paul's letters and Revelation. In other words this church along
with worship of the dead (goddess Ashtoreth / Mary), worship of man they
also worship angels.

By these 3 gods they break the second Commandment which states man
should not worship other than God any other being in Heaven, on earth or
dead, they should not bow, server and worship them.

What this Church does is what Solomon did. Even though he was blessed he
went after these 3 gods and when he came of age the Lord stirred
adversaries against him from all corners.

When the Pope resigned some stated the time is come for the antichrist
to come and for the end of the world. This is not true.

I had received this message the morning on the day of the resignation of
the Cardinal of Scotland resigned, but I failed to post it that day
itself. These things are the adversaries the Lord is stirring against
this Church, not because the end days are here but because the day of
the fall of Babylon the Great is nearing. This fall will not happen
immediately for lots of other stirring is to happen before the hour
comes when suddenly this Church goes bankrupt and all will desert it.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray your people are delivered from the evil that has bound
them from ages. Satan has been playing this game and has been successful
even with a person like Solomon who was blessed with great wisdom. Lord,
we know without your Spirit there no way we can be saved. Holy Spirit it
is only by You that wisdom becomes true understanding and the Law is
written in our hearts. We need more and more of You Holy Spirit of God,
Work in us Holy Spirit of God...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Prophesy and see it happen - give Him glory
Ezekiel 37:10 - So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came
into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding
great army.

Just 2 days back I wrote about Damascus in which I spoke about a bomb
blast/s happening in the city limits and after a few hours there did
take place a great blast in Damascus. Some may think this was a
coincident but that was the same with the Tsunami that hit Japan for the
same day in the morning I wrote about earthquake. There are many other
incidents or world events like these which may have not happened
instantly on the same day but came to pass soon after they were written
in my message. Do all these prophecies which I spoke make me a great
person? No.

If one understands prophecy and 'word of knowledge' one would never be
able to take any credit.

Prophesying means to speak what God has already declared in His Word.
This may be by interpreting of scriptures, by understanding them or
doing the same without having knowledge of the existence of scripture
when the Lord reveals it directly.

Word of knowledge is mistaken by many as 'prophecy&# 39; through worldly it
may be called. Word of knowledge is nothing but prompting of the Holy
Spirit. It is similar to the later type of prophesying but here the
matter is concerning the personal life of a person or a group of
persons. It too may come in vision (hazy or tentative), or dreams
(accurate and clear), or just a strong thought or desire.

In today's message Ezekiel was told by the Lord in the vision to speak
life into the dead bones and they became a great army. When Ezekiel was
told he did not repeat it like a parrot but had to vision the army in
his mind as he spoke it. So prophesying is nothing put speaking what we
see (as written or prompted by the Holy Spirit) about the coming of the
Kingdom of God.

We do not see the glory of God because we do not prophesy and we do not
prophesy because we do not see and we do not see because we lack vision.

I wrote part of this message yesterday before I went to Sunday Service.
At the service the preacher was giving the same message about how people
perish because they lack vision. He was saying ho0w people are like logs
of wood that float on the sea called world, floating aimlessly just
trying to live until their end comes. We as children of God are not
called to be part of history but called to be history makers. We can
only be history makers if we have vision, prophesy and be vessels for
the Lord to bring it to pass.

Saul became Paul when God healed his sight. This was less an outer
healing and more an inner healing of Paul. When Paul could see he did
mighty work for God and became a vessel to bring to pass all that was
written about the Kingdom of God for that time.

During that what was due for the Church was less than what is due during
the present time and the church suffers because we lack people with
vision. Let us pray for visionaries in our churches.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray that people in the Church may have a transformation of
their spirit like Saul became Paul by the healing of his sight. Lord we
pray for more visionaries in the Church. That they may be instruments to
bring to pass all that You have set for in our time and that we quicken
the coming of Christ in glory...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen

[Reference Scriptures]

Proverbs 29:18 - Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he
that keepeth [observe] the law, happy is he.

Colossians 1:9-13

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to
pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge
of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being
fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all
patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be
partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated
us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Acts 2:17 - And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I
will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your
daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your
old men shall dream dreams:

Experiencing storms in our lives
Matthew 14:22-24

22And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship,
and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

23And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain
apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

24But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for
the wind was contrary.

It is very interesting when we do research of the little things that are
ignored in the Bible. They give such great information and land up
giving a broader dimension of understanding of the Heart of God and the
Kingdom of God.

The event given today's message happened at Lake Kinneret / Sea of
Galilee. This lake has a unique formation which causes erratic and
sudden storms. The lake lies 680 feet below sea level and to the east
side of the lake it has hills that are up to 2000feet high. The large
difference in height between surrounding land and the sea causes large
temperature and pressure changes. The warm moist breeze blowing over the
lake and the cool dry breeze blowing over the hills meet high over the
sea. This results in strong winds dropping to the sea, funnelling
through the hills. The Sea of Galilee is small, and these winds may
descend directly to the center of the lake with violent results. When
the contrasting air masses meet, a storm can arise quickly and without
warning. The Sea of Galilee is relatively shallow, just 200 feet at its
greatest depth. A shallow lake is "whipped up" by wind more rapidly than
deep water, where energy is more readily absorbed therefore small boats
caught out in on the storm are in great danger.

We see Jesus went to the mountains to spend private time with His
Father. People go to mountains to find God, because the majestic
presences of the mountains fascinate man.Jesus' going to a mountain to
spent time with God was not for this reason He also went to gardens to
spend private time with His Father. Jesus choice of place was because it
was furthest point from earth or a place far from man made things or
artificial world of man. Jesus in short is telling us the best place to
pray is getting ourselves away from our worldly activities and our
duties. Our mountain or garden can be even in a small room in our house,
what matters is can we separate ourselves from our world to spend time
with God. Even when we are in our house, or travelling, or office we can
take a short escape to our mountain or garden mentally to pray without
moving from our seats.

Jesus did not experience any storm but the disciples who were in the
lake did. Today's message says when we live a life of hot and cold we
will experience storms and if our lives are shallow and more worldly the
more hard these storms will be. Jesus was in a cool place high on a
solid mountain with the Father but the disciples were in a hot and cool
place. Jesus says in the Bible if we are hot and cold (lukewarm) God
gets very angry with us. If we want less of the storms in our lives, let
us set our hearts away from the world, set it rooted high on the Truth
of the Word of God.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we live a life which desires more of the world and things of the
world, lacking knowledge of your Kingdom and far from you therefore face
sudden storms that can destroy us. Lord we pray we set our hearts far
from this world, rooted on the solid Rock which is your Word. A life
holy unto You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Damascus

Jeremiah 49:23-27

23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have
heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea;
it cannot be quiet.

24Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath
seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.

25How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!

26Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of
war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts.

27And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume
the palaces of Benhadad.

The city of Damascus has an interesting history. It is one of the oldest
cities in the world. It has always been known for its grand beauty and
it is also known as 'Paradise on earth'. Muhammad refused to enter this
city thinking he would be tempted by it and thus loose Heavenly
Paradise, but today most Muslims going to Mecca gather here.

We read in today's news about the Syrian uprising and destruction
happening in Damascus, this is not new to Damascus. During the time of
David about 22000 Syrians of Damascus were killed. Later during the time
of Nero the city was packed with Jews and Nero killed about 10,000 Jews
in Damascus in a single day.

Today's message talks of another destruction like this in this grand
city. Just few days back the war had landed at the door of Damascus.
Till date the war has been fought in the suburbs of the city and has
been more of a sniper war. Today's message talks of a great disaster in
the city limits of the grand city of Damascus. The scripture talks of a
super natural flame burning in the city something like bomb/s.

One of the reasons the Lord says He is letting this happen is because
this city is the center of false god. This city was the center or
capital of the first Muslim Dynasty. Even today the richest Arab Muslims
have their houses here. People think Allah is the name of God or another
name for God. In Arabic 'ilah' is the term used for God and Allah claims
to be ilah. Allah is a title and means 'the god'. It specifies a deity
worshipped by the pagan Arabs which was one among the 360 gods they
worshipped before Muhammad discarded all other gods and chose this god
as to be the one god. According to the Quran/Hadiths this god has 3
daughters and the verse concerning Muhammad being tempted to worship the
3 daughters of this Allah is today famous as the 'Satanic verses'. It
caused such an embarrassment that later it was edited out of the Quran.
Some records show this Allah to be the prime moon god worshipped by the
pagan Arabs during the time of Muhammad.

This moon god was worshipped by the Jews and is also seen among
Catholics, it is not exclusive to Muslims. In Jeremiah the Israelites
worshipped the moon goddess who was referred to as Queen of Heaven. The
goddess Ashtoreth of the OT was a moon goddess so also was Diana of the
NT. Even today this same goddess takes the form of 'Mother Mary' and if
one Googles her name with moon, one will get about 14900 links. People
do not question why her images are made mounted on a crescent moon? Nor
do they question why there are prophecies about her image appearing on
the moon? In Munich city-center there is one such golden statue of her
wearing a crown hold an infant (claimed to be Jesus) while standing on a
crescent moon.

Today's message speaks of a great disaster in the city of Damascus for
God is no longer going to be a silent spectator. He is referred to be
slow to anger and the time has come to people to know of His anger.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray for your people who dwell in the city of Damascus, that
your Angels guard them and keep them safe, may not even a hair of their
body be harmed. May You be glorified and people what You have spoken
will surely come to pass...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Jeremiah 7:18 - The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the
fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of

and my judgments, as did David his father.

Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and

despised, and her magnificence should be destroyed, whom all Asia and
the world worshippeth.

Exodus 34:6-7

6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD
God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering [slow to anger], and abundant
in goodness and truth,

7Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and
sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity
of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children' s children, unto
the third and to the fourth generation.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 19 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Post  Admin Thu 21 Feb 2013, 10:56 pm

Is the Word of God sufficient?

Jeremiah 35:13 - Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and
tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not
receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.

The main point of contention between Catholics and Christian (Believers)
is this question 'Is the Word of God sufficient?&# 39;. The Catholics believe
the Word of God is not sufficient and does not hold everything that is
required for the faith of a Christian. They believe traditions and oral
instructions passed down through the church are also very important.
They believe these originated with the Apostles and then were handed
down through the heads of the Catholic Church.

As a Catholic my change in my life happened when I realized the value of
the Word of God and that the Word of God was complete and sufficient. As
a catholic I was misled to believe in many things which I never verified
or confirmed but took them as they were because it came from the
'Church&# 39;. It is like Islam who believe Muhammad as a prophet because he
said he was a prophet, even though he did not do one miracle nor did he
prophesy and that prophecy came true. In fact, according to their own
records he failed the test of a prophet yet they believe him 'because he
said so'. If you ask a Muslim to prove anything he or she would quote
the Quran. They will never give any historic proofs outside Islamic
sources or followers of Muhammad for they have none.

The Catholics also follow the same principle of circle argument like the
Muslims to justify themselves.

One great lie given by the Catholic Church is that the Bible was put in
place by them or they are the co-authors of the Bible, therefore they
have the authority to decide what goes in it and what doesn't.

Like I pointed in my previous message the Old Testament came to us from
the Jews and what we refer to was what in the hands of Jesus and the
Apostles and accepted and acknowledged by them. With regards to the
Apocrypha (7 additional books which the Catholic Church has added to the
OT), they are not referred to in the NT and were not among the canonized
books even in the early years of the Church. They were added only in
1500AD at the Catholic Council of Trent. Also the Apocrypha contradict
the other books so would cause the rejection of the other books (I will
note some contradictions below).

Coming to the 27 books of the NT. These books were considered scriptural
since the early years the Church only acknowledged them but had no hand
in organizing or authenticating them as canonized. We read in the
letters of the Apostles as authenticating the Gospels and the letters of
each other as scriptures which are profitable for teaching, for reproof,
for correction and for training in righteousness. One historian
literally said the other books (Gospels or Epistles) which some claim
should be part of the Bible did not exist in the first century and most
have their origin after 300AD like the Gospel of Thomas, Gospel of Judas
and Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

Coming to traditions; Paul's instructions to Timothy in 2 Timothy
3:15-17 clearly indicates that the scriptures are completely sufficient
for the faith building, confirmation and training in righteousness of a
Christian. Yes there are many things which are not written in the Bible
as stated in John 20:30 and John 21:25, but these are things that are
not necessary to the building and confirming of the faith or training in
righteousness of a Christian.

Jesus clearly stated scriptures cannot be broken and they are infallible
in John 10:35, they are indestructible in Matthew 5:17,18, historically
confirmed in Matthew 19:2-5 and factually inerrant in John 17:17;
Matthew 22:29.

What is not 'written&# 39; should be carefully considered and if it goes
against the spirit or records of that already given unto us needs to be
discarded and rejected. Other things need to be tested as - do they
build our faith and bring us into a better relationship with God?

The Catholic Church also falsely claims they existed since the
beginning, from the time of the Apostles. We have records of nearly the
first 50 to 60 of the Church in the NT and we do not read of anything
Catholic in them. When we say Catholic it is not the meaning of the word
which means universal but Catholicism or Catholic dogma which is the
teachings of the Catholic Church and contrary to scriptures.

The Catholic Church believes in the infallibility of the Pope more than
the scriptures. We all know the current Pope Benedict (Joseph Ratzinger)
resigned. People think he did for old age or illness. He is in fact in
better health than most of the other Popes before him, who did not give
up their throne even when they could not walk or stand on their own
feet. This makes us question his reason or the infallibility of the
previous Popes.

The latest version of Catholicism that was approved by Pope John Paul II
as being official, consistent and current statement of the Roman
Catholic Church was written by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (current Pope)
in 1992. It is ironic that the 'infallible&# 39; Pope and author of the
belief of Catholics while resigning stated 'however, in today's world,
subject to so many rapid changes and shaken by questions of deep
relevance for the life of faith' and 'I have had to recognize my
incapacity to adequately fulfil the ministry entrusted to me'.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray your people see the importance and trustworthiness of
scriptures. Lord, we pray You open the eyes of your people who are still
in the deceit of Babylon, the woman who is the queen of all spiritual
fornication and seat of Satan. Lord we pray the infection of this Church
which still exist in the Believer Church may be completely irradiated
and you Bride may be spotless and holy, so that your glory be seen in Her...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

2 Timothy 3:15-17

15And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are
able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ
Jesus.

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good
works.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 19 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Post  Admin Tue 19 Feb 2013, 7:29 pm

God confirms His Word
Daniel 9:12 - And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against
us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great
evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done
upon Jerusalem.

I had an interesting 2 days. Yesterday as I was fellowshipping with some
brethren' s a brother shared about a woman who claimed to have the spirit
of the 'father&# 39;. Now any ordinary Christian would think she was
referring to the Holy Spirit, but by her words and actions one would
know what 'father&# 39; she referred to.

It so happened that this spirit told her that there were evil spirits in
her sofa so she landed burning the sofa. It was also by this spirit she
claimed that Jesus was uneducated and it was the Spirit in Him that
enabled Him to speak scriptures and due to this reason she also did not
read or study the Bible (there were many other crazy things she did led
by this spirit). This claim that Jesus was uneducated is false, for
there are many scripture which show Jesus could read and write and that
He grew up learning scriptures. If we do not prove this claim false we
deny the human factor of Jesus that God (The Son) humbled Himself and
became 100percent man.

This claim of being illiterate and yet having knowledge of God is also
made by Mohammad.

We need to understand almost all that Jesus spoke was from His knowledge
of scriptures. That is why He does not claim to know the hour of His
coming back for there is no scripture in the Bible (OT) which speaks of
the hour (exact time) of the end of this world. But the day or season
when it will happen is given in many places in the Bible, therefore
Jesus and Paul do warn when the end will come.

Another factor where we see people deny confirmation of scriptures and
thus claim corruption of scriptures is the adding of the 7 books to the
OT by the Catholics which are called the Apocrypha (means non authentic
or hidden). These are books which were written in the period after the
Prophet Malachi and before Jesus. We need to understand the OT is what
we got from the Jews and they believed Malachi was the last Prophet and
after Malachi the Holy Spirit did not inspire or work thought any person
for the period. We also see almost all the books or writers of OT are
spoken of directly or indirectly by Jesus or the Apostles in the NT and
the most important part is that none of the books of the OT and NT
contradict each other, but when we look at the Apocrypha we see there
are scriptures in them that contradict the NT and the OT. Things like
praying for the dead, or the spiritual world of purgatory, or worship of
Mary, or interceding of dead saints and most traditions of the Catholics
have their roots in these 7 books. A few of the old church fathers did
refer to some of these books (like Maccabees for historical reference)
but they were never canonized (meaning measured by or confirmed them
authentic). The Catholic Church tried to canonize them only in
1545-1563AD at the Catholic Council of Trent. If they were to be
canonized why were they not done before? Why were they pushed into the
Bible when people questioned the traditions of the Catholics?

People do not understand the Catholics have fused the word traditions
with statutes and thus tried to authenticate their wrong rituals and
beliefs. The Lord gave us statutes not traditions; the difference
between them is the difference between smiling and grinning. Although
outwardly they look the same but behind them there is great difference.
One has joy and happiness and the other is a dead action or backed by
mischief or evil intentions. Statutes build faith and traditions kill it.

In today's message the Lord tells us He confirms His every Word and that
is why we find many scriptures cross refer to each other for God abides
by His own rule and by the mouth of at least 2 or 3 He confirms His Word.

In Bible study after the stage of commentary study, comes the stage of
cross-reference study. It is at this stage we see the once of scriptures
and how the Word of God has been the same since the beginning. God and
His Word can be separated and if God never changes how can His Word change?

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, many are deceived because they are made to believe your Word
changed. They have broken your Word into Words. They have tried to bring
disrespect to your Name and take away your glory. Lord, we pray You
expose those behind this evil and bring them to day light. May You be
gloried and your Word be uphold to all mankind...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Malachi 3:6 - For I the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob
are not consumed.

Deuteronomy 19:15 - One witness shall not rise up against a man for any
iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of
two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be
established.

1 John 2:14I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him
that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because
ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome
the wicked one.

1 Timothy 2:5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men,
the man Christ Jesus;

Heritage of Jacob

Isaiah 58:14 - Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will
cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with
the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

In the Bible leaving for the one scripture where God starts to call
Jacob Israel, there are 81 scriptures in which the Lord uses both the
terms Israel and Jacob in the same sentence for the person Jacob or his
descendants. When we see the same with Abraham who was previously called
Abram, we see not even one scripture where he is again referred to with
his old name, the same with Paul who was previously called Saul.

The name 'Israel&# 39; was less a name and more a promise to the descendants
of Jacob and this promise can be understood by the vision Jacob had in
the place called Bethel which means 'House of God'. In His vision Jacob
saw a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reaching Heaven. He
saw angels of God ascending and descending on it. In this dream the Lord
promised him the land where he rested unto his generation which would be
numerous like dust. The Lord also promised him protection wherever he
(his generation included) goes and will bring him (his generation
included) back to the Promised Land.

This dream is one of the most important Covenants the Lord made with
before Jesus Christ. We need to understand when man sinned Heaven was
make inaccessible to man in other words the door of Heaven was shut to
man. The Lord promised Jacob (the unredeemed man) that the door of
Heaven would be made open to Israel (redeemed man - Sons of God - the
Bible calls the Angels Sons of God).

Jesus said He is The Way, He is The Door and it is only by The Way / The
Door that we can enter Heaven. Although Jesus is The Way / The Door that
allows us to enter Heaven yet we cannot enter because we still need to
go by The Way / enter through The Door and for this Jesus gave us His
Spirit our Helper. It is the Helper - The Holy Spirit - The Spirit of
Truth Who reveals Jesus to us and enables us to go on The Way and thus
enables us to enter Heaven. That is why in John the first thing about
Jesus is written that those who receive Him to them He give Power to
become Sons of God. The Power which makes them Sons of God is the Holy
Spirit. It is the same Power which worked in Jesus and thus enabled Him
to resurrect. People wrongly think that the Power worked in Hell after
Jesus died, they are mistaken. The Power worked in Jesus when He was
alive it was by the Power He was without blemish. Jesus was 100percent
man and as weak as we are by it was only by the working of the Holy
Spirit He overcame sin and the world.

We all are not born sinless therefore the Lord made a way by our baptism
in Jesus Christ and forgiveness of sins we are born again, all sins
forgiven. Then by our surrender to the Holy Spirit we too come to the
position which Jesus was in, all we need to do surrender to the Holy
Spirit and be led by Him like Jesus was and we too can become overcomers
like Him and thus Sons of God.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, when You made man dead was not a part of man, but by man choosing
to disobey You, man sinned and thus caused death to come into his life.
Lord, we pray that we get access to the Tree of Life and thus finish
death once for all. We know to finish death we need to first finish sin
and therefore You gave us your Holy Spirit by the price paid through the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Holy Spirit we surrender to You and ask You
to work in us and make us like Jesus a Son of God...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Genesis 28:10-22

10And Jacob went out from Beersheba, and went toward Haran.

11And he lighted on a certain place, and tarried there all night,
because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and
put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.

12And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top
of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and
descending on it.

13And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of
Abraham your father, and the God of Isaac: the land where on you lie, to
you will I give it, and to your seed;

14And your seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread
abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south:
and in you and in your seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

15And, behold, I am with you, and will keep you in all places where you
go, and will bring you again into this land; for I will not leave you,
until I have done that which I have spoken to you of.

16And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in
this place; and I knew it not.

17And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none
other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.

18And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had
put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil on the
top of it.

19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that
city was called Luz at the first.

20And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep
me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to
put on,

21So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the
LORD be my God:

22And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house:
and of all that you shall give me I will surely give the tenth to you.

John 1: 12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

Romans 8:14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God.

Philippians 2:14-16

14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

15That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without
rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye
shine as lights in the world;

16Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of
Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Romans 8:19For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the
manifestation of the sons of God.

Life and death

Acts 5:6 - And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out,
and buried him.

Today's message talks of life and death; let us understand this.

We have heard of people spending their life time in solitude in nature
or in close places to find the meaning and purpose of life. But even
after long penance and persistence they all failed to understand life.

All must have heard or read about the great gathering of humanity in
India at Allahabad for the Kumbh Mela where a record 30 million people
gathered to bath in the Ganga River. People think it is for the
forgiveness of sins, but according to their belief that does not require
them to come on this 'auspicious days' that comes once in 12 years. The
main purpose they come to dip in the river on these days is to get
freedom from the cycle of rebirth. They believe depending on their Karma
(deeds) they are reborn in various forms of life like plants, animals or
humans and keep getting born for long number of times. People do not
think or reason this through science, with world statistics, therefore
fall prey to such foolish thinking. The same with Islam, Muhammad too
had a village or small world thinking therefore also had crazy thoughts
of life (even the parts that he copied from the Bible was corrupted
information) .

When God made man death was non-existent in the life of man. Man could
live eternally not because he was like God who has eternal life within
Himself but because man had access to the Tree of Life. People have a
wrong understanding of the Tree of Life. By eating of the fruit of the
Tree of Life does not give a person eternal life but gives a person
renewed life - a recharge of life. Adam had access to the Tree of Life
before Eve was made, so also did both before they sinned. They both had
no restriction to eat of this Tree but yet they never did, for they
never needed to eat. To have eternal life one needs access to the Tree
of Life so that when or life starts to perish we can eat of it and live,
that is why God removed access of sinful man from the Tree of Life.
Jesus came to give us eternal life by making us Sons of God and thus
letting us again have access to Heaven and the Tree of Life which is in
Heaven (Paradise).

Death came in the life of man due to sin and curse of God on man; due to
the increase of sin the natural life of man reduced to a fraction of his
spirit life and the spirit man was condemned to a prison called Hell
where he would suffer for sins he commits in his natural life. These
sins become ever burning coals or ever living worms that cause great
pain. This spirit man suffers in this prison till his spirit life which
is in thousands of years.

Jesus by His death and resurrection broke this curse of Hell such that
anyone who believes in Him is saved from this prison. Irrespective of
how good or bad one is, the person is saved from Hell because of his or
her faith in Christ. It also does not mean the person goes to Heaven.

To go to Heaven man needs the 2 Fruits of the Holy Spirit -
Righteousness and Truth. Truth is what we (collectively as a body)
receive from Holy Spirit -The Spirit of Truth. On Judgment Day all those
who died believing and are asleep will wake up or resurrect (and those
still alive in the end days will be transformed) , all will be judged by
the Word of God (with the Son of Man sitting on the Throne of Judgment).
All those found abiding by the Word (what was revealed to them) will
collectively be covered by the Righteousness of the Son (symbolized as
the Blood of Christ) and thus get access to Heaven and the Tree of Life
(in Heaven we also receive the Fruit of Holiness from the Father).

Those who believed in Jesus Christ and rejected His Word will not go to
prison Hell but to the Lake of Fire / Sulphur. Here they do not suffer
for their sins but suffer for rejecting the Son. This suffering is even
worse than of those who did not believe. The suffering is the same for
all irrespective of the bad or good deeds one has done.

So we see our natural life in other words is like sitting in an
examination hall. Where none can pass by themselves for all need the
help of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit to pass. Exiting the hall early
or late does not matter nor does matter how much we have written. What
matters is what we have written in our paper (quality not quantity) and
how we exit the hall, believing or not believing. It is better to have
little or no good written but exiting believing than to have lots of
good written but exiting not believing.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we do not pray for a long life in this world far from You. A day
with You is better than a thousand days far from You. Lord we pray when
we sleep we sleep believing in You and our hearts close to You and your
Word...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Mark 16:16 - He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he
that believes not shall be damned.

John 3:11-21

11Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify
that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.

12If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye
believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from
heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the
Son of man be lifted up:

15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that
the world through him might be saved.

18He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not
is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the
only begotten Son of God.

19And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and
men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the
light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be
made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

John 1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become
the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

John 3:5Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Except a man be born
of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Romans 8:14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the
sons of God.

Romans 8:19For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the
manifestation of the sons of God.

Matthew 7:19-23

19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast
into the fire.

20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven.

22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done
many wonderful works?

23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me,
ye that work iniquity.

Ephesians 5:9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness [holiness]
and righteousness and truth;)

God alone knows

1 Samuel 2:2,3 - There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none
beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. Talk no more so
exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the
LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed.

About a few days back I was very saddened because a Muslim person I was
ministering expired. The day before I had gone to the hospital he was
admitted to and prayed over him and spoke to his family to encourage
them. He was in the last stage of cancer and doctors had given up hope.
When we reached there, many of his relatives had come to see him, he was
not able to either open his eyes fully or speak to them.

Later after speaking to his wife (it was a Muslim hospital with Muslims
all around us yet we spoke boldly) when we laid hands on him he
immediately opened his eyes and after praying he even started speaking.
This caused great hope to come into the hearts of his wife and relatives
who were around. From hopelessness, a ray of hope came into their
hearts. I prayed that God takes him home so that this sign will cause
his whole family to come to the Lord and be saved. His family was hard
bounded into the rituals of Islam like praying on beads and blowing into
a bottle of water on every bead and making him drink this water. They
believed the prayers were trapped into the water and would come alive in
the one who drank it.

When I heard of his death it was not a shock for me but just
disappointment because even before I went to minister to him the first
time, I had a message from the Lord that he would not survive. The good
part of the message was that he would believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
It was to this family I had gone some weeks back taking play dough the
first time to explain the Triune God.

I did not concentrate on his healing but only on his salvation. I was
disappointed as to why did not the Lord give a sign to them at least
before he died, so that the Lord be glorified and not only he but also
his family be saved.

Today's message says let not high words come out of our mouths for God
alone know everything. He knows what is best since He alone knows
everything. We are in no position to advice God what to do and what is
best. When we speak high words He shakes our ground and brings us to
ground level and when we make mistakes He corrects us and brings us to
understand the Truth.

Let us not advice God but believe in Him who knows all and also knows
the best. His thoughts are not the thoughts of man nor are His ways the
ways of man.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, there are times we feel our way was the right way and when our way
does not happen we get sadden and depressed. Lord, teach us to trust in
You for You alone know all things and know what is best. Lord, let us
remembers You did not hold back anything but risked all for our sake and
this was manifested in Jesus Christ's love for us. Lord, we trust in You
and follow You for even the darkness valley is not dark enough to
consume us when You are with us and we hold on to You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

1 Samuel 2:4 - The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that
stumbled are girded with strength.

Proverbs 5:21For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and he
pondereth all his goings.

Proverbs 16:2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the
LORD weigheth the spirits.

Sabbath Year, where are you?

Leviticus 25:1-3

1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into
the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.

3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy
vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;

4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a
sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy
vineyard.

Believers debate on the Sabbath - Sunday or Saturday, the Jews in 300 to
200AD even killed people for breaking the Law of Sabbath. The tiff between
the Pharisees and Jesus started on the issue of keeping the Sabbath
(weekly).

Some time back I was debating with a Muslim with regards to eating pig
meat. Muhammad got the concept of pig being forbidden from the Bible. But
like the piece bit information he had of the Bible so also he knew only of
the pig and not about the other animals and birds which the Lord forbid. WE
can know how confused Muhammad was with fact from the Bible and that what
he knew was from hearsay and that he had not personally read the Bible -
Torah (Books of Moses), Zaboor (Psalms) and Injeel (Gospels). He confused
Mary the mother of Jesus with Mariam the sister of Moses. The Quran refers
to Mary as sister of Aaron and daughter of Imran (Amram). The same is seen
with all his records of Noah, Abraham, Ismael, Moses, David, Jesus and
others.

Initially when I knew nothing of Islam I thought they also worshipped God
and had some truth in their books, later when I knew little I though their
scriptures are totally satanic, inspired by Satan (Jinn) who come as
Gabriel to minister to Muhammad every now and then (Muhammad used to get
fits, float in the mouth, get attacks like possessed people do). Later when
I came to know more even this view of mine changed to it being more of
insanity used by Satan to destroy.

What we see is people due to their half knowledge or other reasons take
part of God’s Word and consider it Law and ignoring the other parts.

When the Lord instructed His people to keep the Sabbath Day He also
instructed His people to keep the Sabbath Year which came after every six
years, also after 49 years (7 Sabbath years) the 50th year was a Jubilee
Year a grand Sabbath Year. What people did is initially ignore most parts
of it but did the ritual of all meeting together in their own respective
towns on the 10th of the 7th month (the Feast of Tabernacle) on the Jubilee
Year (the year Jesus was born was Jubilee Year therefore the King initiated
the census of the Jews that year). Nowadays not only the Sabbath Year is
not kept, even the Jubilee Year is rarely kept by the Jews (2001 and 2008
were Sabbath Years according to Jewish calendar).

In today’s message the Lord is telling us we need understand His Word in
its Truth. We cannot take part of His Word which we find easy to follow and
ignore which we find hard. Also by rituals or traditions we cannot justify
our obedience of God’s Word. God is Spirit and His Word needs to be
understood in spirit and kept firstly in spirit.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, the people of the Lord worship with rituals and traditions. They feel
they can please You with these. Lord we pray your people know You and
worship You in Spirit and Truth, for You are not man but Spirit. Lord we
pray by your Spirit You open our hearts and minds to know and abide by
You...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Leviticus 25:4-9

4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a
sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy
vineyard.

5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap,
neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest
unto the land.

6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy
servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger
that sojourneth with thee,

7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all
the increase thereof be meat.

8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times
seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto
thee forty and nine years.

9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth
day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet
sound throughout all your land.

Koran 19:27-34

27 At length she brought the babe to her people, carrying him in her arms.
They said: "O Mary! Truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!"

28 "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a
woman unchaste!"

29 But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is
a child in the cradle?"

30 He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah: He hath given me revelation
and made me a prophet" ;

31 "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me
Prayer and Charity as long as I live";

32 "He hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable" ;
/
33 "So Peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day
that I shall be raised up to life again!"

34 Such was Jesus the son of Mary: It is a statement of truth, about which
they vainly dispute.

Koran 66:12 And Mary the daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity; and
We breathed into her body of Our spirit; and she testified to the truth of
the words of her Lord and of his Revelations, and was one of the devout
servants

Wisdom - good or futile?
Proverbs chp 2 with Ecclesiastes 1:12-18

Yesterday I was talking with a beloved brother in Christ and in our talk
he mentioned to me about the futility of wisdom and referred to
Ecclesiastes, and today's message which the Lord gave talks of wisdom
bringing security. Since both the references were written (or authored)
by Solomon then they have to hold some sense for Solomon would not
contradict himself.

Like I wrote in my previous messages wisdom is not knowledge but the
ability to use knowledge to drive out the right understanding.
Foolishness on the other hand is also an ability to use knowledge but it
is the ability that does not bring the right understanding. Without
knowledge one cannot be wise neither a fool. For example for a fool to
talk rubbish he needs to talk something, even if it does not make
logical sense.

If we read Proverbs 1:20-33 Solomon talks of how wisdom alerts us, warns
us. Proverbs 2 speaks of wisdom bringing security and chapter 3 speaks
of the rewards of wisdom.

Yesterday I spoke of the 2 parts of inner-man Discernment and
Conscience. The other parts of the inner-man are Will (I call it the
throne), Mind and Nature. Wisdom works in three parts of the inner-man
i.e. Discernment (I call it the Pump for like the organ heart it
discerns good from bad, it lets the good be spread and processes the bad
to be made good), Conscience and the Mind. So we see wisdom is very
essential for the inner-man, as the person grows in wisdom, the
inner-man of the person grows and thus makes a person stronger in
spirit, for the inner-man covers the spirit of man, same like a weak
physical body can affect the thinking or mental working of man so also a
weak inner-man affects the spirit of man.

If wisdom is good then why did Solomon say in Ecclesiastes 1:12-18 that
wisdom is futile? Let us look at the scripture.

Ecclesiastes 1:13 Solomon speaks of the wisdom 'under Heaven', he
clearly speaks the worldly wisdom which man pursues tirelessly.

When God created the world He said all is good, so how can worldly
wisdom be futile?

We need to understand before Adam sinned the only thing bad was Satan
(plural included the fallen angles). When Satan tempted Adam to eat of
the Tree of Good and Bad to know good and bad, Satan was in others words
was asking Adam to know him, for Adam knew all that was good but was
innocent of evil. The fruit of the Tree of Good and Bad was the fruit of
doubt and by eating doubt Adam came to know evil and thus became a
corrupt being.

The world we live in is a corrupt world that is infected by evil; that
is why Satan is called the prince of the air in this world. Bible tells
us to be innocent of evil but does not tell us to be ignorant of evil
for if we are ignorant of evil we will be victims of evil like Adam was.

The wisdom of the world which is corrupt brings a corrupt understanding
of the good that God made, in other words the wisdom of the word is
foolishness. That does not mean we need to not study or pursue the
knowledge of this world. God says we need to be aware of knowledge and
understanding of this world but not depend on it or trust in it. While
we know things of this world we need to also be aware of the corruption
that exist and that is possible when we are aware of the Truth. If we
are ignorant of the Truth and filled only with the knowledge of the
world we are nothing but fools. We need to know thing of the Kingdom of
God and at the same time have knowledge of the world, Jesus showed this
through His teachings, He used historical events as backgrounds for His
parables; many a times Roman events which caused the Jews to dislike Him.

One preacher put this matter very well in his preaching. He put life
like a boat (us) traveling across a river in this world (time) and the
water is worldly knowledge and understanding. Without water the boat
cannot move, it needs water to travel, but if the water gets into the
boat the boat will drown. So the boat needs water but should not let the
water be inside the boat.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You put us in this world which You were aware would be corrupt.
You wanted us not to be like Adam but to be like Jesus who overcame. You
allowed evil to flourish but make sure a perimeter was set for evil. You
made a way for man overcome evil by your Spirit of Truth so that we may
know the Truth which is your Word and thus overcome. O Holy Spirit,
bring us to the right understanding, help us overcome the corruption
that the world has infected us with...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The Lord has given victory unto us.

Numbers 21:34 - And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have
delivered him into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou
shalt do to him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt
at Heshbon.

I got this message 2 days back and could not figure how to put this very
important message. I could have easily put a few lines and made is very
pleasing ‘nice’ message, put preferred to make it an effective message that
causes some hard thinking and change. Today I will try to put some solid
food in a digestible way for all, so that those used to solid food will go
deeper and those on milk will get something.

Before we come to the message; when I first started understanding
scriptures I realized not only every word in the Bible and its grammar made
great importance, but even the names of people, places and what they
symbolized played great importance to understand scriptures.

When I was reading the books of Moses I saw certain events were recorded a
number of times in the various book while certain others were exclusive to
a book. I also wondered why the books of Moses were in 5 parts and not just
one or three. I knew there was something to this but could not put my
finger on it. It was only when I came to know that the book of Psalms was
also previously in 5 parts and the psalms were arranged in the book
according to the background of the book of Moses. It was also during that
time the Lord was teaching me on the soul / inner-man. It was then I
realized the design of the books of Moses was done so that we learn the
working of the inner-man.

There are many Christians even today who confuse between soul / inner-man
(also referred as heart) with the spirit of man.

Like our body is made of different parts and organs so also is our soul /
inner-man, it has a body which constitutes of 5 different parts with
discernment (knowing good and bad of the world) connecting our inner-man to
the senses of our physical body and conscience (knowing good and bad of the
spirit world also known as 6th sense) connecting our inner-man to our
spirit / spirit world.

Today’s message speaks of the Israelites overcoming King Sihon and King Og.
Among all the enemies Israel fought through the 40 years in the wilderness,
these 2 kings are prominent, referred to many a times and across many books.

King Og was extraordinary and King Sihon ruled under his umbrella. King Og
used to sleep while King Sihon did the ruling. When I came to know of who
Satan is and who the Beast mentioned in Revelation is then I realized these
2 symbolized them (dragon who was put for a period while the beast ruled in
his place). They are also known as the serpent and the young lion in Psalms
91 and also symbolized as Moloch and Chiun / Remphan in Amos 5 & Acts 7.

The word Satan in Greek ‘Satanas’ is a plural word. In Revelation other
than the dragon two Greek words are translated as ‘beast’ one refers to a
spirit and other to a living being (beast with horns), this living being is
actually referring to the ‘son of sin/ perdition’ or the false prophet who
causes man to worship the image of the 1st beast (spirit). I will not go
deep into it but according to today’s message the Lord has said He has
delivered them unto us. This means we have all the ability in knowledge,
wisdom, understanding and authority to overcome Satan(s). All we need to do
is like the Israelites, abide by Lord’s instruction and battle with this
spiritual beings, for the Lord has given us victory. That does not mean
tomorrow Satan will fall, it means slowly we will conquer territory after
territory that is the hearts of men and one day he will be completely
destroyed.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, when You created all things You had already set the way for the
victory of Light over darkness. You made mere man to be the Light that
overcomes the great heavenly powers that turned against You and caused
darkness. Lord, You came as man and opened the door for us to overcome
darkness by your Spirit and your Word. Lord, we pray that your people do
not fear the powers of the evil one for You have delivered them unto us.
Give us courage to battle these forces in this spiritual war...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Deuteronomy 3:11 - For only Og king of Bashan remained of the remnant of
giants; behold, his bedstead was a bedstead of iron; is it not in Rabbath
of the children of Ammon? nine cubits was the length thereof, and four
cubits the breadth of it, after the cubit of a man.

Numbers 21:33-35

33 And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of
Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the battle at
Edrei.

34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Fear him not: for I have delivered him
into thy hand, and all his people, and his land; and thou shalt do to him
as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon.

35 So they smote him, and his sons, and all his people, until there was
none left him alive: and they possessed his land.

Numbers 21:21-26

21 And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, saying,

22 Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into
the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go
along by the king’s high way, until we be past thy borders.

23 And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon
gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the
wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

24 And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land
from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of
the children of Ammon was strong.

25 And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of
the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.

26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had
fought against the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his
hand, even unto Arnon.

Amos 5:26 But ye have borne the tabernacle of your Moloch and Chiun your
images, the star of your god, which ye made to yourselves.

Acts 7:43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your
god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you
away beyond Babylon.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit,
nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except
there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son
of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that
is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing
himself that he is God.

Revelation 13

Revelation 17:8 - The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall
ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that
dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book
of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that
was, and is not, and yet is.
