When dark days come & all seems lost
and hope so far away.
Thats when I must retreat,
And then, kneel down and pray.
He said He'd never leave me.
He'd always be right here.
But,... I cant find You God.
Though You hold Your children dear.
So many dark days; pain, anger, despair.
Will I even mend?.....
Deceit, betrayal, frustration.
Will I ever feel good again?
Then one day the clouds broke.
There was a rainbow in the sky.
The sun shone,... the birds sang.
And for once,... I didnt cry.
God is here with me.
He came from above.
Through faith, trust, and happiness,
And His never-ending love.
