A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
We make our future by the best use of the present.

EZEKIEL'S VISION (Part 5 of 6)
LED BY THE SPIRIT: "And when the Creatures moved forward, the wheels moved at their sides; and when the Creatures were borne above the earth, the wheels were borne too. Wherever the SPIRIT impelled them to go, they went — wherever the SPIRIT impelled them — and the wheels were borne alongside them; for the SPIRIT OF THE CREATURES was in the wheels. When those moved, these moved; when those stood still, these stood still; and when those were borne above the earth, the wheels were borne alongside them - for the SPIRIT of the Creatures was in the wheels." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 19 - 21 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The ministry of the LORD JESUS displayed the truth of these verses. As MESSIAH YESHUA walked on this earth, HE was led in all things by the SPIRIT OF GOD. This reality in HIS life is shown from the very beginning of HIS ministry: "Then JESUS was led up by the SPIRIT into the wilderness to be tempted by the Devil." [Matthew 4. 1]

DEATH: "Above the heads of the CREATURES was a form, an expanse, with an awe-inspiring gleam as of crystal was spread out above their heads. Under the expanse, each had one pair of wings extended toward those of the others; and each had another pair covering its body. When they moved, I could hear the sound of their wings like the sound of mighty waters, like the sound of SHADDAI (THE ALMIGHTY ONE) a tumult like the sound of an army. When they stood still, they would let their wings droop. From above the expanse over their heads came a sound. When they stood still, they would let their wings droop." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 22 - 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

When ELOHIYM created the universe, HE said there was to be "a firmament, an expanse, in the midst of the water, that it may separate water from water." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 6 Tanakh, Torah] After the creation of the firmament, CREATOR GOD "called the expanse, Sky (Heaven)." [Genesis (Bereshith) 1. 8 Tanakh, Torah] Over the LIVING CREATURES was a firmament or expanse. The LORD JESUS performed HIS ministry under Heaven…on the earth. HE walked and talked as no man had ever done. After YESHUA had calmed the wind and the waves, the disciples marveled, saying, "WHO can this be? that even the winds and the sea obey HIM?" [Matthew 8. 27] It was said of JESUS — "No man ever spoke like this MAN." [John 7. 46] The uniqueness of the LORD MESSIAH is captured when the sound of the CREATURES' wings is said to be "like the sound of mighty waters of SHADDAI, the ALMIGHTY — a tumult like the din of an army." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 24 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH was unique because HE IS GOD IN HUMAN FLESH.

A climactic point is reached at this place in the chapter. Wings have pictured the protection of the ALMIGHTY ONE but the next two verses state, "when they stood still, they would let their wings droop (let down their wings)." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 24 - 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LORD YESHUA, the HOLY ANOINTED ONE promised, "If I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all peoples to MYSELF." [John 12. 32] The LIVING CREATURES STOOD STILL . . .JESUS went to the cross. It was at that time, and at that time only in the life of YESHUA that the wings of GOD'S protection were let down. The depravity and filth of sin of all mankind were placed on HIM at Golgotha’s Calvary . In fulfillment of the prophecy, "MY GOD, MY GOD, why have YOU abandoned ME? Why so far from delivering ME and from MY anguished roaring?" [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] JESUS, the CHRIST OF CALVARY cried out at that time — "ELI, ELI, lama sabachthani , that is — MY GOD, MY GOD, why have YOU forsaken ME?" [Matthew 27. 46] The crowning moment of HIS ministry was coming, but first HE had to endure the crucifixion. YESHUA had to suffer, abandoned by GOD THE FATHER. However, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH would soon rise as SOVEREIGN GOD OF THE UNIVERSE.

...to be continued

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Vision without action is a daydream. Action without GODLY vision is a nightmare.

WORLD OFF COURSE
"They neither know, nor do they understand; they go about in darkness, all the foundations of the earth are unstable and off course." [Psalms (Tehillym) 82. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

More times then not, we wish we could call down GOD’S judgment on the wicked, especially the wicked rulers that abound in every office throughout the world. Men and women in almost every civilization throughout history, have been oppressed by their own despotic rulers or invaders from outside their nation’s borders. It seems that the Jewish people and CHRISTian believers, especially have received more than their share of persecution, and it is a comfort to realize that there is BIBLICAL precedent for the grieved saint to call out to the ALMIGHTY ONE for action and justice. Asaph, the author of Psalm 82 does just that.

The judges of his day were evidently quite unjust. The psalmist calls on them to "defend the poor and orphans; vindicate the afflicted and needy, rescue the wretched and needy; save them from the hand of the wicked." [Psalms (Tehillym) 11. 3 – 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Asaph’s cries, however, were not heeded. The rulers are devoid of understanding and walked in darkness, thus "all the foundations of the earth are unstable and off course."

Today, those who defend animal rights promote the killing of unborn children. Many campaign and riot to demand that the "guilty are to be protected" after all, "they have their rights." Yet at the same time, they ignore the innocent victim. . . so where are their rights? Those who adhere to educational freedom try to persuade us that only evolution is science, and creation must not be allowed to be taught in schools. Laws are passed that state we must tolerate other’s view points, and accept their most un-GODly actions and legalized perversions of others; yet BIBLICAL views are called "hate crimes."
By edict from the President and legislation down to local governments, Homosexuals now have favored status. Clearly they are calling evil good, and good evil. This truly is "out of course" and being so totally "off course" from anything good, since it is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because of this perverse legalized action, the world will certainly be destroyed by the Wrath of God Most High.

Our confidence rests solely in the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN WHO "stands in the congregation of the mighty; HE pronounces judgment on the gods" of this world. [Psalms (Tehillym) 82. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] HE sees the injustice and will act accordingly, as HE does all things well and repays the heathens who "mocked the messengers of GOD, disdained and despised HIS WORDS and scoffed at HIS prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against HIS people, till there was no remedy." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 36. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The HOLY RIGHTEOUS ONE will act, it may be sooner or later than we would like, but HE will act at the proper time, in the appropriate way. Though HE may tarry, HE is long-suffering. Meanwhile, we must pray and be about our FATHER’S matters and continue to, "seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld HIS Law. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden on the Day of the LORD'S anger." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 2. 3 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

With the psalmist, our daily cry must be "Arise, O GOD, judge the earth." [Psalms/Tehillym 82. 8] Until then, "carefully obey all these commandments which I command you to do — to love the LORD your GOD, to walk in all HIS ways, and to hold fast to HIM, serving HIM with all your heart and soul." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 11. 22 Tanakh, Torah] And, "Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in HIM, and HE shall bring it to pass. HE shall bring forth your righteousness to shine forth like the light, and your justice as the noonday. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for HIM. Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret — it only causes harm. For evil men shall be cut off for carrying out their schemes. But those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the land." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 5 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Since the 17th of Tammuz fell on Shabbat, today is recognized as Tzom Tammuz (the Fast of Tammuz). It is a fast day commemorating the fall of Jerusalem , prior to the destruction of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem .
The 17th of Tammuz is the first of four fast days mentioned in the prophets. The purpose of a fast day is to awaken our sense of loss over the destroyed Temple – and the subsequent Jewish journey into exile.

Tammuz, although a Babylonian name of an idol, the name is used for the month as sages comment that this designation was deliberately chosen to remind the Jewish people of the judgment that comes from idolatry – beginning with the Golden Calf incident and later with the secret cult worship in “high places” that led to the destruction of the Temple.
Agonizing over these events is meant to help us conquer those spiritual deficiencies which brought about these tragic events. Through the process of "Teshuva" — self-introspection and a commitment to improve — we have the power to transform tragedy into joy thru YESHUA, the SAVIOR & MASTER RESTORER. In fact, the Talmud says that after the future redemption of Israel and the rebuilding of the Temple , these fast days will be re-dedicated as days of rejoicing and festivity. In the OLD COVENANT, Zechariah declares: the 17th of Tammuz will become a day of celebration, "Thus says the LORD OF HOSTS: 'The fast of the fourth month, the fast of the fifth, the fast of the seventh, and the fast of the tenth, shall become feasts for joy and gladness and cheerful feasts for the House of Judah. Therefore love truth, honesty, integrity, and peace.'" [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 8. 19 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
No matter how great the loss, this faith of ours always remains.

EZEKIEL'S VISION (Part 4 of 6)
WHEELS & FIRE: "Such then was the appearance of the LIVING CREATURES, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like torches. Fire was moving about among the living creatures; the fire had a radiance, and lightning issued from it. And the LIVING CREATURES ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning. As I gazed on the LIVING CREATURES, I saw one wheel on the earth next to each of the Four-Faced CREATURES. As for the appearance and structure of the wheels, they gleamed like beryl. All four had the same likeness; the appearance and structure of each was as of two wheels cutting through each other — a wheel in the middle of a wheel. And when they moved, each could move in any one of four directions; they did not turn aside when they moved. Their rims were so tall they were frightening; for the rims of all four were covered all over with eyes." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 13 - 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LIVING CREATURES are presented as having the appearance of burning coals of fire and torches. The NEW COVENANT tells us that "Our GOD is a CONSUMING FIRE." [Hebrews 12. 29] The OLD COVENANT, David said, "The LORD is my LIGHT." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] MESSIAH YESHUA, when addressing the Pharisees stated emphatically that HE is "The LIGHT OF THE WORLD." [John 8. 12] The FIRE and the LIGHT went up and down around the creatures. The LORD JESUS is "the BRIGHTNESS of HIS (the FATHER'S) glory and the EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON." [Hebrews 1. 3] Our MIGHTY GOD is a CONSUMING FIRE and the ETERNAL LIGHT.

The LIVING CREATURES "ran and returned." To return to a place, one has to have been there before. At the beginning of this age, the SON OF GOD stepped down from Heaven and for 33 years lived on this planet. As the LORD YESHUA was leaving Har ha'Zeitim (the Mount of Olives) to return to Heaven, an angelic messenger made the promise, "This same JESUS, WHO was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw HIM go into heaven." [Acts 1. 11] Ezekiel portrays the return of KING JESUS when it stated that the LIVING CREATURES "returned like the appearance of a flash of lightning." [v. 14] YESHUA ha'MASHIACH HIMSELF stated, "as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west, so shall also the coming of the SON OF MAN be." [Matthew 24. 27]

There is a vivid description of the wheels which symbolism declares a basic truth about the person of the LORD YESHUA. Speaking of the birth of the MESSIAH in Beit’Lehem, Micah said, "(THE ONE) WHOSE origin is from of old, from ancient times." [Micah (Michah) 5. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] YESHUA is the EXALTED LORD, HE is Eternal! JESUS is GOD EVERLASTING. The "likeness" represented by the "wheel upon the earth" is the GOD/MAN. "A wheel in the middle of a wheel" represents the truth of the incarnate SON in-dwelt by the SPIRIT OF YEHOWAH for power in HIS ministry.

The rim of the wheels being tall and frightening speak of the majestic, awesome greatness of the PERSONAGE of JESUS. The eyes around the rims speak of HIS omniscience; HE sees all, including the thoughts and intents of the heart. JESUS is the WONDROUS LORD and is to be feared and worshiped.

The wheels also speak of the power of the HOLY SPIRIT united with the LORD JESUS CHRIST. "And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the Throne and the four LIVING CREATURES, and in the midst of the elders, stood a LAMB as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven SPIRITS OF GOD sent out into all the earth." [Revelation 5. 6] Zechariah declares that "those seven are the eyes of the LORD, which scan to-and-fro ranging over the whole earth." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 4. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Ultimately, the Book of Revelation concludes in telling of the "Four LIVING CREATURES full of eyes in front and in back. The first LIVING CREATURE was like a lion, the second LIVING CREATURE like a calf, the third LIVING CREATURE had a face like a man, and the fourth LIVING CREATURE was like a flying eagle. The four LIVING CREATURES, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying — "Holy! Holy! Holy! LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, WHO was and is and is to come!" [Revelation 4. 6 - 8]

. . . to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
YOURS, O LORD, is the greatness and the power, the glory and the victory, and the majesty; for all that is in the heavens and in the earth are YOURS; YOURS is the Kingdom, O LORD, and YOU are exalted as head above all. Praised be the LORD to WHOM all praise is due for ever and ever! Praised be YOU, O LORD our GOD, RULER of the world, WHO has chosen us from among all peoples and has given us YOUR Law. Thank YOU for redeeming us, forgiving us, and cleansing us from all our sins. Let us not be moved from YOUR path of righteousness we pray, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 22 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Sometimes one must sift through life like an archeologist looking for any remnant of humanity.

EZEKIEL'S VISION (Part 3 of 6)
HIS PERSON & WORK: "Each of them had a Human face (at the front); each of the four had a face of a Lion on the right; each of the four had the face of an Ox on the left; and each of the four had the face of an Eagle (at the back)." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In studying the life of the LORD YESHUA, we must look at the Four GOSPELS: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Each GOSPEL sets a different and distinct light of the life and ministry of our BLESSED REDEEMER; and when taken together, they present a complete picture of HIM. The GOSPELS reveal the meaning of Ezekiel's creatures and their Four Faces —

The GOSPEL of Matthew was written to the Jewish people and proclaimed YESHUA as their KING; HE is the MESSIAH, the ANOINTED RULER. The genealogy given in Matthew 1, shows that JESUS was in the royal line of King David through HIS legal father, Joseph. The book of Matthew portray Messiah YESHUA as King, the LION.

Mark's GOSPEL presents YESHUA as a SERVANT. There is no genealogy of JESUS given in Mark because no one would be interested in the lineage of a servant. The face of the Ox accurately pictures the truth of the LORD YESHUA as a SERVANT.

Luke declares that the LORD JESUS is the PERFECT MAN and gives another genealogy tracing HIM back through HIS Mother, Miryam (Mary); and her, from Adam, the first man. There would definitely be great interest in the genealogy of a PERFECT MAN. Therefore, there is no better choice to portray YESHUA as a MAN than the face of a MAN.

John shows the CHRIST JESUS' DEITY, the SON OF THE MOST HIGH GOD. The genealogy that John presents begins and ends with the ALMIGHTY OMNIPOTENT CREATOR — "no beginning or ending" — HE has always been. The fourth face is that of an EAGLE, which perfectly represents John's teaching that MESSIAH YESHUA is the HOLY ETERNAL ONE. The eagle is "king of the birds" — the most feared enemy of the snake.

The verse states, "the four had...the face of a LION on the right side; the face of an OX on the left side." Two sides make up a whole. The two-fold ministry of the LORD YESHUA is portrayed in the GOSPELS of Matthew and Mark: JESUS came first as a SERVANT, and will one day return as the SOVEREIGN KING. HE came the first time as the LAMB OF GOD to die. . . and HE will return as the LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH to reign forevermore.

DIRECTION & DELIVERANCE: "Such were their faces. As for their wings, they were separated: Above, each had two touching those of the others, while the other two covered its body. And each could move in the direction of any of its faces; they went wherever the SPIRIT impelled them to go, without turning, when they moved." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The wings stretched upward" speaks of our SAVIOR'S confident reliance upon ELOHEY. "The wings covering the creatures" speak of the ALMIGHTY’S complete protection. Two phrases repeated throughout the remainder of the chapter, "they went every one straight forward" and "wherever the SPIRIT impelled them to go, they went" — tell of the one direction and purpose the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH had in HIS life. HE went wherever the "SPIRIT OF YAH" led HIM. In all HIS entire life, the ANOINTED ONE never veered from the course that was set before HIM.

. . . to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
The CREATOR, PRESERVER and HEIR of the Universe has once for all made purification of man’s sin and gave him eternal salvation. So, encourage one another. Even, so much the more, as you see the DAY OF MESSIAH'S imminent return nearing. For infinite is HIS mighty power, HIS ineffable (inexpressible, beyond words) glory, even so is HIS glorious love. HalleluYAH!
Grace be with you all.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Silence is a fence for wisdom. [Pirkei Avot 3:13]

EZEKIEL'S VISION (Part 2 of 6)
MAN or BEAST: "Out of the midst of it came the likeness of FOUR LIVING CREATURES. And this was their appearance: They had the figures of a man. However, each had four faces, and each of them had four wings; the legs of each were (fused into) a single rigid leg, and the feet of each were like a single calf's hoof, cleft in front, and their sparkle was like the luster of burnished copper. They had human hands below their wings. The four of them had their faces and their wings on their four sides. Each one's wings touched those of the other. They did not turn when they moved, each could move in the direction of any of its faces." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 5 - 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The creatures are symbolic of a Man — then it continues to describe various aspects of the Creatures...wings, hands, and feet are mentioned. Each characteristic is picturesque in its illustration of the ONE WHO is GOD and became MAN. This is crucial to understanding the chapter.

In this chapter, wings are seen covering, joined, pointed up-or-down, and described in a number of different ways. The many uses of wings illustrate ALMIGHTY GOD'S care and protection. "HE will cover you with HIS feathers; you will find refuge under HIS wings." [Psalms (Tehillym) 91. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] These creatures have wings covering their bodies, picturing protection. MESSIAH YESHUA, in HIS earthly ministry, was cared for and protected by the MIGHTY OMNIPOTENT GOD OF HEAVEN.

Their straight feet picture legs without joints, the feet could go in only one direction. As is recorded: "Survey the course you take, and all your ways will prosper. Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your feet from evil." [Proverbs (Mishle) 4. 26 - 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This is a counsel to believers to walk in straight paths; but, the passage also is characteristic of the earthly walk of MESSIAH YESHUA. The LORD JESUS always went in the direction HIS FATHER had laid out for HIM. HE did not turn to the left or the right, but was perfect in all HIS ways.

The sole of the creatures feet was "like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like the color of burnished copper." The LORD YESHUA came first as the "LAMB OF GOD" [John 1. 29], and someday soon, HE will return as the "LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH." [Revelation 5. 5] The calf's foot speaks of HIS "first coming" as the SAVIOR of the world. In HOLY SCRIPTURE, copper indicates judgment and speaks of HIS "second coming" as the SOVEREIGN JUDGE.

The hands under the wings speak of the accomplishment of JESUS' ministry as a MAN. HE was protected and guided by FATHER GOD, but voluntarily limited HIMSELF in HIS earthly ministry to that which HIS humanity would permit. Verses five-thru-nine therefore speak of THE ONE WHO came from Heaven, took on flesh, was led by the SPIRIT OF GOD, walked a perfect path, and is both SAVIOR and SOVEREIGN LORD & KING.

. . .to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
The LORD shall yet comfort Zion and shall choose Jerusalem . The wise serve the LORD OF GLORY out of their great love for HIM, in reverent fear

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Visit the ill out of responsibility, the person out of love.

EZEKIEL'S VISION (Part 1 of 6)
Chapter 1 of Ezekiel can be understood as you notice two things: The words like and likeness are used 16 times in this one chapter, clearly showing that the passage is a picture or illustration of something; and that Ezekiel saw a vision of HOLY GOD. This fact is apparent from the first and last verses, "The heavens opened and I saw visions of ELOHIYM." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "...that was the appearance of the semblance of the PRESENCE OF THE LORD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 28 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The Glory of the LORD has been manifested in many ways: "The WORD became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the ONLY BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER, full of grace and truth." [John 1. 14] Ezekiel saw the glory of the FATHER in the PERSON of HIS SON, JESUS. From this vision, John described for us the Life, Person and Ministry of the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH.

TIME & PLACE OF THE VISION: "In the thirtieth year ((possibly the 30th year of captivity, since Israelites had begun to be carried away to Babylon during the reign of Manasseh)), on the fifth day of the fourth month, when I was in the community of exiles by the Chebar Canal, the heavens opened and I saw visions of GOD. On the fifth day of the month — it was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin — the WORD OF THE LORD came to Ezekiel the priest, son of Buzi, by the Chebar Canal, in the land of the Chaldeans. And the hand of the LORD came upon him there." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 1 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

These verses introduce Ezekiel the priest. The time is around 593 BC/BCE, seven years before Jerusalem was captured by Babylon . Ezekiel is in captivity and is standing at the River Chebar where he receives "a vision of ELOHIYM." {This awe-inspiring vision unfolds for us in verses 4 – 28.}

FIRST COMING: "I looked, and lo, a stormy wind came sweeping out of the North — a huge cloud and flashing fire, surrounded by a radiance; and in the center of it, in the center of the fire, a gleam as of amber." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 1. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Immediately Ezekiel looked and saw ONE coming from the North. The terminology in this verse has been used before to speak of ELOHIYM and HIS PRESENCE (KABOD/GLORY). The ALMIGHTY spoke to Job "out of the whirlwind." [Job/Iyob 38. 1] During the wilderness wanderings, the HOLY LORD GOD revealed HIMSELF to the people of Israel through the Tabernacle worship and HE led them through the movement of a CLOUD upon the Tabernacle by day and a FIRE by night. [Exodus/Shemot 40. 34 - 38]

Also, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL indicated that HIS dwelling place is in the North part of the universe, "For what lifts a man comes not from the east, or the west, or from the south for ELOHIYM is HE WHO gives judgment; HE brings down one man, HE lifts up another." [Psalms (Tehillym) 75. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im] These verses seem to confirm the truth that our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH came from the "North" — from Heaven — when HE became MAN . . . DEITY took on the form of man clothed in flesh.

...to be continued

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
We greet, salute, and encourage each saint in the LORD JESUS CHRIST keeping you always in our prayers. A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Learn from the mistakes of others. . . you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.

BE STRONG
"Let not this BOOK OF TEACHING cease from your lips, but meditate and recite it day and night, so that you may observe faithfully all that is written in it. Only then you will prosper in your undertakings and only then will you be successful." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Joshua received direct commands from the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD — "Moses MY servant is dead. Prepare to cross the Jordan , together with all this people, into the land that I am giving to the Israelites. Every spot on which your foot treads I give to you, as I promised Moses." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Joshua's tasks would be impossible without the guidance of THE MASTER COMFORTER, the SPIRIT OF GOD. Thus, the OMNIPOTENT ONE spoke words of bold encouragement to him, "BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE, for you shall apportion to this people the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. But you must be strong and very courageous to observe faithfully all the TEACHING that MY servant Moses enjoined upon you. Do not deviate from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. I charge you — Be strong and of good courage; do not be terrified or dismayed, for the LORD your GOD is with you wherever you go." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 6 - 7, 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LORD GOD ETERNAL encouraged Joshua further in saying to "not be afraid, nor be dismayed" and to "observe to do all the Law." Complete obedience to the Law of GOD is imperative (required, crucial, essential, must)! One must obey for a prosperous result. The Apostle Paul understood this also and encouraged his brethren — "BE STRONG in the LORD and in the power of HIS might. Put on the whole armor of GOD, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." [Ephesians 6. 10 - 11] "In all things we commend ourselves as ministers of GOD: in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; by purity, by knowledge, by longsuffering, by kindness, by the HOLY SPIRIT, by sincere love, by the WORD OF TRUTH, by the power of GOD, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left." [2 Corinthians 6. 4 - 7]

The steadfast PERSONAL PRESENCE of the KING OF GLORY is the greatest of all riches and HE promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." [Hebrews 13. 5] How very rich we are and greatly blessed with all the spiritual blessings in heavenly places in MESSIAH YESHUA! May the LORD your GOD be ever with you!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE dwells within us, bless you abundantly and guard you, our dear ones in the coming week. May some of the sweetness of Sabbath be present throughout each day so they are filled with love and unselfishness — that happiness and contentment may abide in our homes. May the hallowed inspirations of this day give us strength to do YOUR perfect will, O GOD, with a steadfast, submissive and loving spirit and with a heart of wisdom. Amen
We are praying for you and desire that yours is a Tov Shavua — A Good Week! The grace of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH be with you always.

Post  Admin on Sat 27 Jun 2015, 11:54 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
I pray that no offense shall happen through me.

THREE ARKS
"When she could hide him no longer, she made an ark of bulrushes for him and caulked it with bitumen slime and with pitch. She put the child into it; and placed it among the reeds by the bank of the Nile ." [Exodus (Shemot) 2. 3 Tanakh, Torah]

There are two different Hebrew words for ark: 'arown and teba meaning box-like container — chest, coffin. The first ark mentioned in HOLY SCRIPTURE was the Great Ark ('arown) of Noah which was overlaid and inlaid with "pitch." [Genesis/Shemot 6. 14] This was not fossil fuel (oil-based pitch) for that type oil was probably formed in the upheavals of the flood and dead animals. There are, however, various coals that are produced from buckwheat, chestnuts, eggs, flaxseed, mustard-seed, nuts, peas and peat which form either a hard coal bituminous or soft coal substance which the oil-based pitch most probably was made from. The Hebrew word for this pitch is "kaphar" or covering which is also translated "atonement." [Leviticus/Vayikra 17. 11]

The second ark was Moses' Ark ('arown), was daubed or smeared with slime and pitch; and this pitch was of oil base. Then, the last was GOD'S ARK (teba) OF THE COVENANT which was built for the Holy Place in the Tabernacle in the wilderness. It was overlaid "with pure gold." [Exodus/Shemot 25. 11] The first ark preserved the founders of the Gentile civilization; the second preserved the prophet of the Jewish dispensation; and the third preserved the INSCRIBED DIVINE WORDS for the saving of all generations. [Exodus/Shemot 31. 17 - 18; Deuteronomy/Devarim 10. 1 - 5]

Noah's Ark, like the people which he established, was built strong enough to endure throughout man's earthly existence, and its remains are still on the mountains of Ararat.

Moses' Ark, like the nation which he founded, was only enduring enough for its immediate intent and purpose.

GOD'S Ark and its sacred contents, in contrast, will last forever. When Nebuchadnezzar carried away all the treasures from the Temple in Jerusalem , no mention was made of this "Greatest Treasure of all treasures." [2 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Bet 36. 18 - 19] The Apostle John reveals why in the last book of HOLY WRIT, "And the TEMPLE OF GOD was opened in heaven and there was seen in HIS TEMPLE, the ARK OF HIS TESTAMENT" [Revelation 11. 19] forever reminding GOD'S people of HIS ETERNAL WORD — MESSIAH YESHUA . . . the LIFE-GIVING WORD WHO became flesh!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Welcome Sabbath, Queen of the week! We praise and bless you O GOD, and thank YOU for all the blessings of the week that is gone, for life, health, and strength; for home, love and friendship; for the discipline of our trials and temptations; for the happiness of our success and prosperity. YOU have commanded us: Six days shall you labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD our GOD. YOU have ennobled us, O GOD, by the blessings of work, and in love and grace sanctified us by the blessings of rest. For this and so much more, we honor and praise YOU!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Apologizing does not always mean that you are wrong and the other person is right; it means you value your friendship more than your ego.

This Same Jesus
"JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, today, and forever." [Hebrews 13.8]

When the LORD YESHUA rose from the dead, then later ascended into heaven, HIS body was immortal, no longer subject to death — yet it was a physical body, capable of being seen and heard and touched, even capable of eating with HIS disciples. HE was clearly recognizable, yet could quickly go up from earth to heaven and could pass through a solid wall. As HE ascended, two angelic messengers said: "This same JESUS, WHO was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw HIM go into heaven." [Acts 1. 11] YESHUA was immeasurably different after HIS resurrection, yet Peter could also proclaim "that GOD has made this JESUS, WHOM you crucified, both LORD and CHRIST." [Acts 2. 36]

Furthermore, even when the HOLY RESURRECTED ONE returns and assumes the eternal throne of the universe, HE will still be the same. "But to the SON HE says: "YOUR throne, O GOD, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of YOUR Kingdom…they will be changed. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years will not fail." [Hebrews 1. 8 - 12] The sons of Korah had sung this in a song of love in the OLD COVENANT " YOUR Throne, O GOD, is everlasting; a royal scepter of righteousness is the scepter of YOUR Kingdom. YOU love righteousness and hate wickedness; therefore GOD, YOUR GOD, has chosen to anoint YOU with the oil of gladness more than YOUR companions." [Psalms (Tehillym) 45. 6 – 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This was the same JESUS WHOM John the Baptizer identified at the beginning of HIS earthly ministry. "HE WHO sent me to baptize with water said to me, 'Upon whom you see the SPIRIT descending, and remaining on HIM, this is HE WHO baptizes with the HOLY SPIRIT. And I have seen and testified that this is the Son of God.'" [John 1. 33-34]

Actually, before HIS baptism, and even before YESHUA’S incarnation, HE was the same, "In the beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD. HE was in the beginning with GOD." [John 1. 1 - 2] This same JESUS WHO lived among men, identified by John the Baptizer as the SON OF GOD, and WHO died on the cruel, rugged cross is the ETERNAL WORD by WHOM all things were made, as well as the resurrected SAVIOR and soon-coming KING OF GLORY. YESHUA ha’MASHIACH is truly "the same yesterday, today, and forever." We undoubtedly can place all our hope, trust, and confidence in the ONE WHO is constant, unwavering, steadfast and unparalleled in HIS commitment to us, HIS dearly loved children.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation. May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel, Amen. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honoured, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else throughout eternity. Blessed are YOU beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is better to be ashamed of yourself than for others to be ashamed of you.

BE THE EXAMPLE
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity...give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. Do not neglect the gift that is in you." [1 Timothy 4. 12 - 14]

After receiving LORD MESSIAH YESHUA as our SAVIOR and DELIVERER from sin's bondage, HE gives us a work to do — not for our salvation — HE alone can save us, but we are to do HIS will to show our love for HIM to those around us as well as to principalities and powers in high places. And, we are to continue being faithful witnesses of HIM. "When I say of the righteous — He shall surely live — and relying on his righteousness, he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds shall be remembered; but for the iniquity that he has committed HE SHALL DIE." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 33. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Therefore, as faithful believers who love our LORD JESUS, we should continue in:
Word: "For the WORD OF GOD is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." [Hebrews 4. 12] "Is not MY WORD like a fire? —says the LORD— And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?" [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 23. 29]

Conduct: "Abstain from all appearance (every form) of evil." [1 Thessalonians 5. 22]

Love: "This is MY commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." [John 15. 12]

Spirit: "By this we know that we abide in HIM, and HE in us, because HE has given us of HIS SPIRIT." [1 John 4. 13]

Faith: "Faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." [James 2. 17]

Purity: "Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." [James 4. 8] "Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before MY eyes. Cease to do evil, learn to do good; seek justice." [Isaiah/Yeshayah) 1. 16 - 17a]

Interpretation: "Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD OF TRUTH." [2 Timothy 2. 15]

Exhortation: "Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the LIVING GOD; but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today" — lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." [Hebrews 3. 12 - 13]

Doctrine: "Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you." [1 Timothy 4. 16] "Stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle." [2 Thessalonians 2. 15]

Know for certain that "we are HIS workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." [Ephesians 2. 10] "We are HIS witnesses to these things, and so also is the HOLY SPIRIT WHOM GOD has given to those who obey HIM." [Acts 5. 32] It is such a privilege and honor to serve such a WONDERFUL MASTER, there is no greater love.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O LORD, pardon the sins, transgressions and iniquities which we have committed before YOU. Purify us of all our errors and iniquities so that our life may be worthy of the name we bear and our home become a sanctuary consecrated to YOUR PRESENCE and dedicated to righteousness. Humbled by the sense of our weakness and our guilt, we ask YOU, O GOD of our fathers, to help us to serve YOU in sincerity and in truth; and in serving YOU, may our example help to lead many to YOU

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Many people speak with tremendous authority from the depths of their self-induced ignorance and cannot see they are actually in bondage.

SIGNS: SUN, MOON, STARS
"When the LORD delivered the Amorites before the children of Israel , Joshua spoke to the LORD; he said in the presence of the Israelites: —Stand still, O sun, at Gibeon, O moon, in the Valley of Aijalon ! — So the sun stood still and the moon halted, while the nation wreaked revenge upon its enemies. Thus the sun halted in mid-heaven, and did not press on to set for a whole day; for the LORD fought for Israel . Neither before nor since has there ever been such a day, when the LORD heeded the words spoken by a man." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 10. 12 - 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

When Joshua and the children of Israel encountered an alliance of nations under a leader who called himself, "Adoni-Zedek (lord of righteousness)" ...the ONLY TRUE GOD WHO alone is righteous, defeated and crushed this pompous, egotistic heathen. The SUPREME ONE fought for Israel by casting down large hailstones from heaven on them and there were more who died from the hailstones than the children of Israel killed with the sword. [Joshua/Yehoshua 10. 11]

As from the beginning, so will the end be, CREATOR GOD will again use the sun, moon and stars as signs of HIS return. The UTMOST HIGH & LOFTY LORD GOD will thus commence HIS judgments on the unbelieving world. "Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken." [Matthew 24. 29] "The sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood." [Revelation 6. 12] "A third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night." [Revelation 8. 12]

The five kings who fought alongside Adoni-Zedek fled and hid themselves in a cave. And Joshua and the men of Israel put their feet on the necks of these enemies, then killed them. [Joshua/Yehoshua 10. 16 - 24] Likewise, in Revelation we see that "the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains and said to the mountains and rocks— Fall on us and hide us from the face of HIM WHO sits on the Throne and from the wrath of the LAMB! —For the Great Day of HIS wrath has come, and who is able to stand?" [Revelation 6. 15 - 17]

"Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe; Come and tread, for the winepress is full, the vats are overflowing! For great is their wickedness. Multitudes upon multitudes in the Valley of Decision ('Emeq Charuts)! For the Day of the LORD is at hand in the Valley of Decision . Sun and moon are darkened, and stars will withdraw their brightness. And the LORD will roar from Zion , and shout aloud from Jerusalem , so that heaven and earth tremble; but the LORD will be a SHELTER to HIS people, a REFUGE to the children of Israel. And you shall know that I the LORD GOD dwell in Zion , MY Holy Mount. And Jerusalem shall be holy; nevermore shall strangers pass through it." [Joel (Yoel 4.13-17) 3. 13 – 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In the chaotic world we live in today, we need not be afraid or dismayed. However, we who are in MESSIAH YESHUA are to be strong and courageous knowing the KING OF GLORY will do the fighting for us. "Then comes the end, when HE delivers the Kingdom to GOD THE FATHER, when HE puts an end to all (other) rule and all authority and power. For HE must reign till HE has put all enemies under HIS feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death." [1 Corinthians 15. 24 - 26] We are more then conquerors — "for those who fear HIS NAME, the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS shall arise with healing in HIS wings." [Malachi/Malakhi 4. 2] It will be worth it all when we see our LORD, KING JESUS!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
We offer YOU, our ETERNAL GOD, thanks and praise as we glorify YOUR NAME. Happy are we who praise YOU and declare YOUR holiness early and late, morning and evening — Hear, O Israel! the LORD our GOD, the LORD is ONE. Blessed be HIS NAME, WHOSE glorious Kingdom is for ever and ever.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Beloved are sufferings, as they are a sign of GOD’S mercy. [TALMUD]

TENDER MERCIES & LOVINGKINDNESS
" O LORD, be mindful of YOUR tender mercies and YOUR lovingkindnesses, they are as old as time." [Psalms (Tehillym) 25. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word translated "lovingkindness" is chesed — it connotes faithful, unfailing, absolutely steadfast love. In the OLD COVENANT—communion, deliverance, enablement, enlightenment, guidance, forgiveness, hope, praise, and preservation are all based on GOD’S chesed.

These eloquently descriptive words, "tender mercies" and "lovingkindness" in the acrostic Psalms are so very picturesque of our BELOVED. No matter how obsolete or outdated the language, the attributes they represent come from "times of old" — yet they are comforting for us today. They emphatically reflect the characteristics, the distinctiveness of our wonderful LORD GOD

These are some of the richly magnificent SCRIPTURAL testimonies associated with those precious, though archaic, terms that were unfortunately dropped from most newer translations of the BIBLE — to our disadvantage for it has impoverished our speech and perhaps even our souls.

This theme occurs a number of times in HOLY SCRIPTURE: "Do not withhold YOUR tender mercies from me, O LORD; let YOUR lovingkindness and YOUR TRUTH continually preserve me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 40. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Have mercy upon me, O ELOHIYM, as befits YOUR lovingkindness; according to the abundance of YOUR tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly of my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin." [Psalms (Tehillym) 51. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Hear me, O LORD, for YOUR lovingkindness is great; in accordance with YOUR abundant and tender mercies turn to me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 69. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "It is HE (the LORD) WHO redeems your life from the Pit, surrounds you with lovingkindness and tender mercies. HE satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 4 - 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

All the occurrences of these two expressions, either separate or together, are applied only to the LORD GOD OF HEAVEN except one found in the Proverbs ("the tender mercies of the wicked is cruelty." Proverbs/Tehillym 12. 10-b). When the term applies to men, other terminology is used (compassion, kindness, forgiveness, gentleness, etc.). How appropriate, for our AWESOME & GRACIOUS HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL is uniquely the GOD of love and mercy. Although it is true that none of us deserve HIS lovingkindness or tender mercy — "The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in mercy. The LORD is good to all, and HIS tender mercies are over all HIS works. All YOUR works shall praise YOU, O LORD, and YOUR faithful ones shall bless YOU." [Psalms (Tehillym) 145. 8 - 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] — How can we help but praise and adore HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!!
May your life be a witness and beneficiary of GOD MOST HIGH'S care, love and presence. HIS grace is greater then all our needs!
O GOD, do not keep silent; do not hold aloof; do not be quiet, O EL! For YOUR enemies rage, Your foes assert themselves, they plot craftily against YOUR people, take counsel against YOUR treasured ones. They say, “Let us wipe them out as a nation; Israel’s name will be mentioned no more.” Deal with them, O my GOD, make them like thistledown, like stubble driven by the wind, as a fire burns a forest, as flames scorch the hills, pursue them with YOUR tempest, terrify them with YOUR storm. Cover their faces with shame so that they seek YOUR NAME, O YEHOWAH. May they be frustrated and terrified, disgraced and doomed forever. May they know that YOUR NAME, YOURS alone is YEHOWAH, the MOST HIGH over all the earth. [see Psalms/Tehillym 83]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When the ALMIGHTY ONE punishes the wicked, HIS NAME is made great and holy. [Mechilta, Kiddush ha'Shem]
Yigdal sh'mo umalkhuto — May HIS NAME and Kingdom grow.

STILL HE WALKED
HE could hear the multitude screaming
"Crucify! Crucify!"
HE could hear the hatred in their voices,
these were HIS Chosen People.

HE loved them and they were going to crucify HIM.
HE was beaten, bleeding and weakened —
HIS heart was broken,
but still HE walked.

HE surveyed the crowd as HE came from the palace.
HE knew each of the faces so well, HE had created them.
HE knew every smile, their laughter, and each tear shed,
but now they were contorted with rage and anger —
HIS heart was broken,
but still HE walked.

Was HE afraid?
You and I would have been so.
HIS humanness would have mandated that HE was.
Instead, HE knew what HE came to do!
HE knowingly did all for humanity.
HIS disciples had left, denied, and even betrayed HIM.
HE searched the crowd for a loving face, but saw few.
Then HE turned HIS eyes to the ONLY ONE that mattered
and HE was assured that this was HIS FATHER'S will.
HE looked back at the crowd,
at the people who were spitting on HIM,
throwing rocks and mocking HIM,
and HE knew it was for them that HE came.
So for them, HE walked.

Deafening sounds of the hammer striking the spikes
echoed triumphantly through the crowd.
However, HIS cries were even more prominent
then the cheers of the crowd.
HIS hands and feet were nailed to the rugged cross
as pain intensified with each blow.
Loudest of all was the still small voice inside HIS heart
that whispered, "I am with YOU, MY SON!"
— and GOD'S heart broke —
HE had let HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON walk.

YESHUA, the MESSIAH could have asked GOD to end HIS suffering,
but instead, HE asked GOD to "Forgive!"
Not to forgive HIM,
but to forgive the ones who were persecuting HIM.
As HE hung on that cross dying an unimaginable death,
HE looked out and saw, not only the faces in the mob,
but HE could see the face of every person HE was dying for,
and HIS heart filled with love.

Although HIS body was dying,
HIS heart was alive —
— ALIVE with immeasurable,
unconditional love HE has for each of us.
That is why HE walked.

When I forget how much my GOD loves me,
I remember HIS walk.
When I wonder if I can, without doubt, truly be forgiven,
I remember HIS walk.
When I need reminded of how to live like MESSIAH YESHUA did,
I think of HIS walk.
So, to express how much I love HIM,
when I wake each morning, I turn my eyes to HIM,
— and I walk.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Our beloved friends our prayer is that GOD ETERNAL will hear our prayer and give us a renewed spiritual awakening, increase our love and brotherhood among us by HIS PRECIOUS SON'S atoning blood. We wish to express our love to each of you...giving thanks to the HOLY ONE WHO gives good things to HIS children.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Who is rich? The one who is satisfied with his lot. [Ben Zoma, Ethics of the Fathers, 4:1]

THE REAL PRODIGAL
"The son said to him — 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.' But the father said to his servants — 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' — And they began to be merry." [Luke 15. 21 - 24]

This familiar parable is really about the "prodigal father" more then the "prodigal son." The word prodigal can have two different meanings: In the illustration of the father, prodigal means lavishly generous, exaggerated, excessive, over-elaborate, extravagant. In the incidence of the son, the meaning is opposite by some degree: wayward, rebellious, self-indulgent, immoral, depraved, wasteful. Since, the central theme of the story is not the return of a lost son, but rather the undying love of a forgiving father, emphasis should be on the one who loved, not the one who left.

The human father was intended by the LORD YESHUA to be a picture of our HEAVENLY FATHER, whose righteousness requires judgment on sin, but who is always ready to forgive an receive back into joyous fellowship the one who returns to HIM in repentant faith. Even to rebellious Israel , HE could say, "Yes, I conceived you with an everlasting love; therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. Again I will build you firmly, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel ! You shall again be adorned with your tambourines, and shall go forth to the rhythm of the dancers in rejoicing." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 31. 3 - 4 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

It was the memory of his father’s lovingkindness that ultimately gave the lost son courage to return home in repentance. And, when he returned there was no recriminations from his father, only the love and the prodigal outpouring of blessings along with the robe (covering), the ring (heritage), and the shoes (ability to walk confidently) all symbolizing his full restoration as the son of his father.

This is how it is with us, though utterly undeserving of such honor, we are made "heirs of GOD and joint-heirs with MESSIAH." [Romans 8. 17] "HE has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities...HE removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion for his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear HIM. For HE knows how we are formed; HE is mindful that we are dust." [Psalms (Tehillym) 103. 10 - 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Come out from among them and be separate and I will receive you. I will be a FATHER to you, and you shall be MY sons and daughters — says the LORD ALMIGHTY." [1 Corinthians 6. 17 - 18]

Arise, and let us return to the LORD our MERCIFUL GOD WHO is ready to abundantly pardon. For the FATHER is "a forgiving GOD, gracious and mercifully compassionate, long suffering, slow to anger, abounding in faithfulness and abundant in kindness" [Nehemiah (Nechemah) 1. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim], and HE will never forsake us.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
As we bid farewell to Sabbath at the Havdallah Ceremony, we use all of our senses: We taste the wine, smell the spices, see the shadow of candles, hear prayers and songs, touch family and friends as we wish them a Good Week.
The loving father is a complex pastiche (take-off, imitation) for whom morality, ethics and trust is often taught by example. Responsibility is unquestioning. Love and protection is without qualification. To a GOD-fearing father principles aren’t merely guidelines, they are living values. Many father’s are dreamers who hope, plan and work for our best; and they are such gentle, loving guides. Thanking each of you for being so devoted to your family! May the GREAT HEAVENLY FATHER bless and reward you
HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!!!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Depravity leads to permissiveness, when righteousness is ignored. Permissiveness leads to rationalization, when holiness is ignored. Rationalization encourages rebellion, when repentance is ignored. Rebellion is viewed the same as witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. [see 1 Samuel/Shemuel Alef 15. 23]

POWER OF THE ARK
"The Philistines took the ARK OF GOD and brought it into the temple of Dagon and set it up beside Dagon (a Philistine idol-god of fertility; represented with the face and hands of a man and the tail of a fish). Early in the next day, the Ashdodites found Dagon lying face down on the ground before the ARK OF THE LORD. They picked Dagon up and put him back in his place; but early the next morning, Dagon was again lying prone on the ground in front of the ARK OF THE LORD. The head and both hands of Dagon were cut off, lying on the threshold; only Dagon's trunk was left intact." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 5. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The Philistines had captured the ARK OF THE COVENANT where the GREAT & ALMIGHTY ONE met with HIS people, Israel , and set it up in the temple of their stone god, Dagon. The first night, the worthless image fell down before the Ark ; the second night, he fell down again and broke in pieces. On the third day, a great plague fell on the people of Ashdod . Then, they immediately sent the ARK away!

Just as Dagon fell before the ARK OF GOD, so the priests and soldiers who came to take YESHUA, the MAN OF SORROWS away — "drew back and fell to the ground" [John 18. 6] in the LORD'S PRESENCE. And, as the temple of the stone god could not hold the Ark more then three days, the whale could hold GOD'S Prophet Jonah for only three days, so the grave could not hold the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH for more then that amount of time.

The ARK OF THE COVENANT exhibited HOLY GOD'S great power both to bless and to curse. It brought death to the Philistines who desecrated it as well as to the Israelites when "the LORD stuck the men of Beth-Shemesh because they looked into the ARK OF THE LORD." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 6. 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im] However, blessing accompanied the Ark to the house Abinadab the Levite, and later to the house of Obed-Edom: "Then the men of Kirjath-Jearim came and took up the ARK OF THE LORD and brought it into the house of Abinadab on the hill; and they consecrated his son Eleazar to have charge of the ARK OF THE LORD. A long time elapsed from the day that the Ark was housed in Kirjath-jearim, twenty years in all." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 7. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The ARK OF THE LORD remained in the house of Obed-Edom the Gittite three months, and the LORD blessed Obed-Edom and his whole household." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 6. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The same is true of the LORD YESHUA and all who are "in HIM WHO is the head of all principality and power." [Colossians 2. 10] As the GALILEAN walked here on earth, HIS actual presence was a blessing to many, but others "asked HIM to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear." [Luke 8. 37]

"For we are to GOD the fragrance of CHRIST among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. To the one we are the aroma of death leading to death, and to the other the aroma of life leading to life." [2 Corinthians 2. 15 - 16] To all who love HIM, the BELOVED LORD YESHUA is as the SPIKENARD'S FRAGRANCE, the BUNDLE OF MYRRH, and the CLUSTER OF HENNA [SOS/Shir ha'Shirim 1. 12 - 14] blooming in the Vineyards of En-Gedi.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Good Sabbath! Welcoming the Queen, the "Bride of the Week" . . . take pleasure in the rest of love freely given — a rest of truth and sincerity — a rest in peace and tranquility, in quiet and safety — a perfect rest in which you find favor. Have a peaceful, enriching Shabbat with an objective to bless others.
Praised are YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR compassion boundless. Be gracious to us that we may understand and fulfill the teachings of YOUR REVERED WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Thank YOU for YOUR saving power, for from YOU comes our help. Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU in faithfulness. Joyfully, we lift our voices and proclaim YOUR PRECIOUS NAME.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Believing is a fine thing, but placing those beliefs into implementation is a test of strength.

BLESSED IS HE
"May he who enters be blessed in the NAME OF THE LORD! We bless you from the HOUSE OF THE LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 118. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This is the pinnacle of the great Messianic Psalm. It was fulfilled when YESHUA THE REDEEMER rode into Jerusalem on a little donkey just one week before He died bearing the sins of the world, fulfilling the prophecy of Zechariah, "Rejoice greatly Fair Zion ! Shout! Raise a shout, O daughter of Jerusalem ! Lo, your KING is coming to you. HE is victorious and just, triumphant and having salvation, yet humble, riding on an ass, on a donkey foaled by a she-ass." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 9. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

As YESHUA rode into Jerusalem , multitudes of people "took branches of palm trees and went out to meet HIM, and cried out — HOSANNA! Blessed is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD — the KING OF ISRAEL!" [John 12. 13]

Now, like then, most people doubt and reject the LORD JESUS all together, crying out for HIM to be put to death. Although HE knew this is what would happen, HE had already foretold it's happening — "O Jerusalem , Jerusalem , the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, but you were not willing! See! your house is left to you desolate; and assuredly, I say to you, you shall not see ME until the time comes when you say — Blessed is HE WHO comes in the NAME OF THE LORD!" [Luke 13. 34 - 35]

The principle applies to us individually, although it was especially meant for the nation as a whole. When anyone hears the call of the LORD JESUS, if he welcomes the GLORIOUS ONE, the RIGHTEOUS MESSIAH will, without doubt, come into his heart, "whom having not seen you love, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith — the salvation of your souls." [1 Peter 1. 8 - 9] And with faithful and sincere thanks we bless HIM WHO came that we might live.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; They shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, and give HIM no rest till HE establishes and till HE makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 62:6-7]

For all things, O GOD our KING, we bless and exalt YOU for ever and ever. YOU are the ROCK of our lives, the SHIELD of our salvation through every generation. YOU, LORD GOD are good, YOUR mercies fail not and YOUR loving kindnesses never cease. We give YOU thanks and glory and praise for this is befitting, Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The best sermons are lived, not preached.

CHOOSE WISELY
"But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." [Luke 10. 42]

Both Miryam (Mary) and Martha, the sisters of Lazarus, loved the LORD YESHUA and wanted to please HIM. YESHUA also loved them, and was a frequent guest at their home in Bethany . Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made, busying herself in activity and service to be pleasing to the LORD. Mary, on the other hand, was content to sit "at Jesus' feet and heard HIS WORD." [Luke 10. 39] So, Martha approached HIM and said, "LORD, do YOU not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me. — And JESUS answered and said to her, Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things, but one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." [Luke 10. 40 - 41] Clearly, Mary had chosen what was better. And, would it not be just like our WONDERFUL MASTER to have gotten up and helped both women with the meal preparation, after teaching them!

Hundreds of years prior to this setting, the patriarch Job, whom ALMIGHTY GOD had said was "a blameless and upright man who fears GOD and shuns evil…there is no one like him on earth" [Job/Iyob 1. 8], Job had also chosen that good part. "I have not departed from what HIS lips commanded; I have treasured HIS WORDS more than my daily bread." [Job (Iyob) 23. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The only way we can sit at YESHUA'S feet and hear HIS WORD today is by reading and meditating on the LIFE-GIVING INSTRUCTIONS. We should make priority time available for this "good part" along with our other daily obligations and responsibilities. Hearing and obeying HIS PRECIOUS COMMAND is vital for our very existence, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the WORD OF GOD." [Romans 10. 17]

Miryam (Mary) had a heart like David: "One thing I ask of YEHOWAH, only that do I seek…to live in the HOUSE OF THE LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty (delightfulness) of YEHOWAH, to frequent HIS Temple." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The psalmist wrote of this truth he had learned: "Oh, how I love YOUR TEACHING! It is my study all day long...How sweet is YOUR WORD to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through YOUR precepts I get understanding." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 97, 103 - 104 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

We have an even greater, sweeter privilege than Job, or the psalmist, or Mary because we have all the HOLY Scriptures. So, if you truly desire "the best part" the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH will provide the understanding through HIS refreshing precepts. And, "How much better to acquire wisdom than gold; to acquire understanding is preferable to silver." [Proverbs (Mishle) 16. 16 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Listen, learn, and receive the greatest riches on earth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
HE WHO keeps Israel neither slumbers or sleeps! Who is like YOU, O LORD GOD? Who is like YOU, glorious in holiness, revered in worship, wondrous in works? There is none! Infinite is YOUR power, so is YOUR love. The LORD'S promise to HIS Jewish people: "As you behold, you will glow; your heart will throb and thrill — for the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you and the riches of nations shall flow to you. Whereas you have been forsaken, rejected and hated, with none passing through, I will make you a pride everlasting, a joy for age after age." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 60. 5, 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.
"When pride come, then comes shame; but with the humble (modest) is wisdom." [Proverbs/Mishle 11:2]

LAW & HOPE
"For the Law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; through which we draw near to GOD." [Hebrews 7. 19]

The Book of Hebrews focuses on the difference between the Levitical Priestly Laws of animal sacrifice in contrast to the Perfect Law of the blood of the LORD YESHUA — the BETTER COVENANT.

The MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH declared that the Law (Levitical Priestly Laws) could not make anyone perfect. One does not grow in his spirituality (become spiritually mature) if he follows the unprofitable Law which GOD has "put away." One draws near to the HOLY ONE not by keeping the Laws and commandments, but by following a BETTER HOPE — YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, is the fulfillment of all the HEBREW SCRIPTURES!

"There arises another PRIEST WHO has come, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life...For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment (OLD COVENANT) because of its weakness and unprofitableness." [Hebrews 7. 15 - 16, 18]

The Law of Moses is called the "Law of a Carnal (fleshly) Commandment." When one is delivered from the fleshly commandment by believing in the LORD YESHUA as the REDEEMER & LORD, they put themselves back under bondage if they continue to observe the carnal laws, which has to do with the flesh. In speaking of the Gentiles conforming to the laws and rituals of the OLD COVENANT, Peter declared to his own Jewish brothers that they were as a "yoke" and were difficult to bear. He questioned the Jews who were burdening the Gentiles with this yoke. He intimated that these rituals "under the Law" then were not a joy and did not make the Jewish person any better by observing them.

Speaking about Gentiles to the Jews, Peter said: "Now, therefore, why do you test GOD by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? But we believe that through the grace of the LORD JESUS we shall be saved in the same manner as they." [Acts 15. 10 - 11]

It was not by the rituals of the Law (circumcision of the flesh) but by the GRACE OF THE LORD that Jew or Gentile shall be finally and completely saved. But didn't our Jewish brother, Paul, take the men who had taken a vow, and having been purified with them in keeping of the Law, entered the Temple ? [Acts 21. 18 - 28] The challenge was in regards to circumcision; Paul was being accused of teaching the Jews not to circumcise their children, but this was a false charge. He did undergo the ritual of purification, as was the custom, to appease our own Jewish people and perhaps to try to win them to their MESSIAH. Yet this did not attract them to salvation, rather they tried to kill him after he had done this!

Also, our Father Abraham did not observe the works of the Law since he was before the Law. He did not observe the ceremonies, never kept any of the FEASTS OF THE LORD, Sabbaths, washings, and the like — yet he is called "the father of the Jew and non-Jew who believe in YESHUA!" [Romans 4. 11]

Note however, the Moral Law's of ALMIGHTY GOD have never changed and never will. MESSIAH YESHUA said — "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled. Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven ." [Matthew 5. 17 - 19] "And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the Law to fail." [Luke 16. 17] Right is always right, and wrong is always wrong in human behavior.

The Laws under the NEW COVENANT pertaining the Gentiles, that have been changed, are the Laws concerning "circumcision" [Acts 21. 20 - 25] and the "animal sacrifices." MESSIAH YESHUA was the PERFECT FULFILLMENT of all the Sacrifice Laws.

HOLY SCRIPTURES show that in the MESSIAH there is no difference between Jew and Gentile when it pertains to following the NEW COVENANT. Both have been set free from bondage of the Carnal Commandment which has to do with fleshly works. They are now "spiritual" for they follow the "spiritual commandment" of the NEW COVENANT. One does not carry burdens of the Law when YESHUA THE SAVIOR has delivered them from these burdens. Nor does anyone follow "a dead and profitless Law" when New Life and a BETTER COVENANT has come! Those who love the LORD JESUS, obey HIM!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !!
O GOD, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking guile. Be my support when grief silences my voice, and my comfort when woe bends my spirit. Plant humility in my soul, and strengthen my heart with perfect faith in YOU. Help me to be strong in trial and temptation and to be patient and forgiving when others wrong me. Guide me by the Light of YOUR counsel, that I may ever find strength in YOU, my ROCK and my REDEEMER. Thank YOU, BLESSED SAVIOR!! Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Your belief needs to be based on reality — so develop an eye for noticing sparks of potential in others…be enthusiastic in telling others about the WONDERFUL GOD OF CREATION and HIS saving grace.

EXTREMELY WELL DONE
"Descendants shall serve HIM; the LORD’S righteousness shall be proclaimed to the generations to come; they shall tell of HIS beneficence to people yet to be born, for HE has finished (fulfilled) this." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 31 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Psalm 22 is called the Psalm of the Cross and this is the last verse that marvelously prophecies, and so graphically describes the sufferings of MESSIAH on the cross. This prophesy was written a thousand years before it was literally fulfilled. Also the promise was that this great event would be proclaimed in every generation and "they shall bend the knee before HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 30 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Father’s would tell their children from one generation to another declaring the righteousness of the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL. "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; HIS greatness cannot be comprehended. One generation shall praise YOUR works to another and declare YOUR mighty acts." [Psalms (Tehillym) 145. 3 – 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] It has been wondrously, incredibly, completely fulfilled for almost 2,000 years now and each generation of followers of the BELOVED LORD YESHUA have been faithful to teach their children the extraordinarily incredible story of "the sufferings of MESSIAH and the glories that would follow" [1 Peter 1. 11], both the sufferings and the glories are portrayed in the 22nd Psalm.

The final verse stresses the fact that the work has been completed. The most marvelous aspect of the Gospel Message (Good News) is that the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA has accomplished all that was needed to assure eternal salvation to everyone who would "seek the LORD and praise HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 27 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

As HE was dying on the cross, the PIERCED ONE cried out — "It is finished!" [John 19. 30], the last illustrious prophecy was fulfilled. Comparable to when, in the beginning, HE expressed that "the heavens and the earth, and the host of them, were finished" [Genesis/Bereshith 2. 1], completing HIS wonderful work of creation. The LORD YESHUA finished HIS work on the cross, satisfying the penalty for our sins and providing the even greater work of redemption. Nothing remains to be done, indeed, that payment was made-in-full, and it is finished; CHRIST completed for us what we could not do for ourselves.

All we must do now is receive, in thanksgiving, what our LOVING SAVIOR has done for us. May we be faithful to THE MASTER, and like Paul, be able to say, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the Crown of Righteousness, which the LORD, the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved HIS appearing." [2 Timothy 4. 7 – 8] All to HIM we owe, and I for one, am tremendously grateful and eternally thankful.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
LORD our GOD, great, eternal, wonderful in glory, WHO keeps covenant and promises for those that love YOU with their whole heart, WHO is the LIFE of all, the HELP of those that flee to YOU, the HOPE of those who cry to YOU, cleanse us from our sins, secret and open, and from every thought displeasing to YOUR goodness — cleanse our bodies and souls, our hearts and consciences, that with a pure heart, and a clear soul, with perfect love and calm hope, we may venture confidently and fearlessly to pray to YOU. And, we thank YOU in the MAGNIFICENT NAME of YESHUA we pray, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The tragedy of life is not in the fact of death, but that so many die without ever having lived knowing the BELOVED SAVIOR, that they may have life more abundantly now, and life eternal after they die.

JERICHO'S ENIGMA
"Do this six days, with seven priests bearing seven rams' horns preceding the Ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the horns." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The battle plan to conquer Jericho violated every ordinance of the TORAH, for the Levites were to be exempt from military duties, yet they led the procession. [Leviticus/Vayikra 1. 2 - 3; 45 - 49] "The priests took up the Ark of the LORD while seven priests bearing seven rams' horns marched in front of the Ark of the LORD, blowing the horns as they marched. And the armed men went in front of them, and the rear guard marched behind the Ark of the LORD, with the horns sounding all the time." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This also looks as if they were also violating the Sabbath, for here at Jericho they marched seven times as much as on the other six days. "On the seventh day (Sabbath), they rose at daybreak and marched around the city, in the same manner, seven times; that was the only day that they marched around the city seven times." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This instance is the forerunner as anticipated for the "seven trumpet judgments" in Revelation 8 & 9. It is interesting to note that Joshua instructed them to "maintain silence" until the final series of seven on the seventh day. "Do not shout do not let your voices be heard, and do not let a sound issue from your lips UNTIL the moment that I command you — Shout!...then you shall shout." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 6. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

In Revelation there is a strange period of silence prior to the seven trumpets. "When HE opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour." [Revelation 8. 1] When our OMNIPOTENT HOLY GOD is present, what can man possibly utter; for GOD "will guard the steps of HIS faithful saints, but the wicked shall be silent in darkness and shall perish — for not by strength shall man prevail." [1 Samuel (Shemuel Alef) 2. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

And, when the RIGHTEOUS ALMIGHTY ONE is aroused from HIS Holy Habitation, man must be still: "Let us be silent...for the LORD our GOD has put us to silence...because we sinned against the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 8. 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The LORD is in HIS Holy Temple — let all the earth be silent before HIM." [Habakkuk 2. 20] "Be silent all flesh, before the LORD! For HE is roused from HIS Holy Habitation." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 2. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

If we would but trust and obey, we would find HIS way to be perfect and proven; and, when we cannot see, we can clearly follow HIS VOICE. "The WAY OF GOD is perfect; the WORD OF THE LORD is proven pure; HE is a SHIELD to all who seek refuge and trust in HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 18. 30 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Open your mouth in holiness and purity, with song and psalm, and bless and praise, glorify and revere, sanctify and ascribe sovereignty to the NAME of the DIVINE KING, the GREAT, MIGHTY & AWESOME ONE, holy is HE. Take upon yourself the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven and give sanction to one another to bless the CREATOR. In tranquil joy of spirit, with pure speech and holy melody exclaim: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD OF HOSTS, the whole earth is full of HIS glory."

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Challenges can be stepping stones or stumbling blocks. Its just a matter of how you view them.

FATHER'S INSTRUCTIONS
"My son, heed the discipline of your father, and do not forsake the instruction of your mother." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Proverbs is the best book "for learning wisdom and discipline; for understanding words of discernment; for acquiring the discipline for success, righteousness, justice, and equity for endowing the simple with shrewdness, the young with knowledge and foresight." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Then there are the Proverbs that are laid out in the form of lessons. David, in all probability, compiled these lessons for each of them begins with the loving words "my son" or "sons." [Proverbs/Mishle 1. 8; 2. 1; 3. 1, 11, 21; 4. 1, 10, 20; 5. 1, 7; 6. 20; 7. 1, 24; 8. 32]

The first one urges the importance of children being willing to heed the counsel of their parents. One of the main characteristics of the "last days" is predicted to be the fact that children will be "disobedient to parents." [2 Timothy 3. 1 - 2] "Children, obey your parents in the LORD; for this is right. Honor your father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise." [Ephesians 6. 1 - 2] This applies especially to children with GOD-fearing parents as we teach obedience to all the commands of our LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER through the LORD JESUS, the BLESSED MESSIAH REDEEMER.

It is extremely important that each lesson emphasizes the immediate significance for young people to obey the WORD OF GOD as taught them by their parents. Wise counsel, learning, discretion, instruction, knowledge, understanding and wisdom are promised over and over to those who know, love and obey GOD'S HOLY WRITTEN WORD.

"MY son, IF you accept MY WORDS and treasure up MY commandments; IF you make your ear attentive to wisdom and your mind open to discernment; IF you call to understanding and cry aloud to discernment, IF you seek her as you do silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; THEN you will understand the fear of the LORD and attain knowledge of GOD." [Proverbs (Mishle) 2. 1 - 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

May the sweetness of Sabbath be felt all through your week!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Fulfill GOD'S precepts joyfully, just as Israel accepted the TORAH at Mount Sinai — with exceedingly great joy.

BRIGHTNESS OF HIS GLORY
"WHO being the brightness of HIS glory and the express image of HIS person, and upholding all things by the word of HIS power, when HE had by HIMSELF purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the MAJESTY on HIGH." [Hebrews 1. 3]

This is one of SCRIPTURE'S most magnificent enlightenment of the PERSON and WORK of MESSIAH YESHUA. The word "brightness (Hebrew: nogahh)" literally means "bright, brilliant light, radiating-out, illuminate" conveying the energy outflow from the sun. The sun constitutes a immense generator of energy, more than sufficient to sustain all life on earth.

As the sun's energy rays are to the sun, so is the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA to the GOD-head. JESUS is "THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD." [John 8. 12] HIS "origin is from of old, from ancient times." [Micah (Michah) 5. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] YESHUA'S glorified "countenance was like the sun shining in its strength." [Revelation 1. 16]

YESHUA, the RISEN ONE, is the LIFE-GIVING RADIANCE of the INDESCRIBABLE GLORY of the ETERNAL ONE, from WHOSE face one day, heaven and earth will flee away. [Revelation 20. 11] "Then the glory of the PRESENCE OF THE LORD moved from the cherubim to the raised platform on which the Temple stood, the House was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the radiant brightness of the LORD'S GLORY and PRESENCE." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 10. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "But for you that fear MY NAME, the SUN (Hebrew: "SHEMESH" one of the names of "YESHUA — THE WORD made flesh") OF RIGHTEOUSNESS shall rise with healing in HIS wings (the tassels on HIS "tallit (prayer shawl)" —see Matthew 9. 20)." [Malachi (Malakhi) 4. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "HIS NAME shall endure forever; HIS NAME shall continue as long as the sun (Hebrew: YINNON). And men shall be blessed in HIM; all nations shall call HIM blessed." [Psalms (Tehillym) 72. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The PRINCE OF PEACE, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the only MEDIATOR between GOD and man, and through this SPLENDID ONE we can boldly enter into the HEAVENLY FATHER'S PRESENCE. "For it is GOD WHO commanded the LIGHT to shine out of darkness, WHO has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the GLORY OF GOD in the face of CHRIST JESUS, the LORD." [2 Corinthians 4. 6] Soon and very soon, we shall behold HIS incredibly spectacular glory. What a triumphantly spectacular day that will be!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !!
Good Sabbath! Come, let us go out to meet the Sabbath Queen, the Bride of the week…Sabbath, eagerly awaited and joyously welcomed!
I greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul exults in my GOD. For HE clothed me with garments of salvation, wrapped me in a robe of righteousness; thus shouts of victory and praise spring forth in HIS PRESENCE. I love YOU, LORD and I lift my voice to worship YOU.
Have a tremendously wonderful Sabbath!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Work harder at being what you should be rather than at hiding what you really are.

LIFE IN THE BLOOD
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for your souls upon the altar; it is the blood, as life, that effects expiation for the soul." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah]

From Exodus to Revelation, blood is absolutely essential for the remission of sin. HOLY SCRIPTURE expressively tells that innocent shed blood is the penalty that must be paid to remove the guilt of our transgressions and provide us with a clear conscience before our RIGHTEOUS MAKER.

"According to the Law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission." [Hebrews 9. 22] It is only because of the precious, shed blood of our SAVIOR, MESSIAH YESHUA, that we can stand before our HEAVENLY FATHER, since "the blood of JESUS CHRIST HIS SON cleanses us from all sin." [1 John 1. 7]

Even while we were sinners, the LORD JESUS died for us that we can now be "JUSTIFIED by HIS blood" [Romans 5. 9] "having made peace through the blood of HIS cross." [Colossians 1. 20] We "were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold — but with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

YESHUA ha'MASHIACH "loved us and washed us from our sins in HIS owN blood." [Revelation 1. 5] We were "purchased with HIS own blood" [Acts 20. 28] and "we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS grace." [Ephesians 1. 7; Colossians 1. 14] All praise to the WORTHY LAMB for by HIS blood, HE has "redeemed us to GOD." [Revelation 5. 9]

Moreover, YESHUA is effectively and well-able to "sanctify the people with HIS OWN blood" [Hebrews 13. 12] as there is infinite, eternal power "through the blood of the EVERLASTING COVENANT." [Hebrews 13. 20]

"And they overcame him (ha'Satan/the Devil) by the blood of the LAMB and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." [Revelation 12. 11] This is the last time the blood of the LORD JESUS is mentioned in HOLY SCRIPTURES. Here, the blood is what enables the believers to overcome and withstand the deceptions and accusations of Satan.

At the Seder of Passover, the LORD YESHUA said, "this is MY blood of the NEW COVENANT, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." [Matthew 26. 28] Forbid that anyone should ever "count the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing" [Hebrews 10. 29] in view of the fact that the blood of MESSIAH YESHUA is forever incalculably priceless, blameless, infinitely precious, justifying perfectly, transforming, eternally cleansing and fully sanctifying. The priceless, precious blood of JESUS, the LORD & KING still washes the stains of sin away; and by it, we can stand cleansed in the GLORY OF HIS PRESENCE.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Praised are YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR compassion boundless. Be gracious to us that we may understand and fulfill the teachings of YOUR HOLY WORD.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
In no wise speak against the truth; but be ashamed of the error of your ignorance.

MESSIAH REVEALED TO ISRAEL
"For I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem for war; the City shall be captured, the houses plundered, and the women violated; and a part of the City shall go into exile. But the rest of the population shall not be uprooted from the City...
...On that Day, the LORD will set HIS feet on the Mount of Olives, near Jerusalem on the East, and the Mount of Olives shall split across from the East to West, and one part of the Mount shall shift to the North and the other to the South, a huge valley. You shall flee to the Valley in the Hills (Hebrew: Har-Gay'ee), for Har-Gay'ee shall reach only to Azal...
...You shall flee as you fled because of the earthquake. And the LORD my GOD, with all the holy beings, will come to you and the LORD shall be KING over all the earth. In that Day there shall there be one LORD, and HIS NAME ONE. The LORD alone shall be worshiped and shall be invoked by HIS TRUE NAME." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 14. 2, 4, 5, 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"And I will fill the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem with the SPIRIT OF GRACE & COMPASSION; and they shall look upon ME WHOM they have pierced, and they shall mourn because of HIM as one mourns for a favorite son, and show bitter grief because of HIM as one in bitterness for his first-born. In that day, the great wailing in Jerusalem shall be as great as the wailing at Hadad-Rimmon in the plain of Megiddon." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 9 - 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"In that day a fountain shall be open to the House of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem for purging and cleansing. And when HE is asked —What are these wounds on YOUR back?— HE will reply, From being beaten in the homes of MY friends." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 13. 1, 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

From the preceding preliminary verses of HOLY SCRIPTURE, we see that when the nations of the world center their attack on the Jewish people in Jerusalem , YESHUA ha'MASHIACH will return to earth to defend Israel against her enemies for the last time, to reveal HIMSELF to these Jews who had been blinded as to HIS MESSIAH-SHIP. The LORD JESUS will identify HIMSELF as the "LORD OF GLORY" through the marks of the wounds in HIS hands and HIS feet. HE WHO is the FAITHFUL & RIGHTEOUS ONE will forgive those who repent of their sin, judge the nations who mistreated Israel , establish HIS Kingdom on the earth with all HIS saints (Jew & Gentile) and rule and reign forever! "In abundant authority and peace without limit, upon David's throne and kingdom, that it may be firmly established in justice and in equity now and evermore. The zeal of the LORD OF HOSTS will bring this to pass." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Even so, come quickly, LORD JESUS!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
O FATHER & REDEEMER, mindful of YOUR covenant, we pray that YOUR love may never forsake us. Even as the rainbow recalls this covenant, so may each new day bring to all men the thought of YOUR gracious promise. Hasten the time when YOUR Law will be written in very heart, from the smallest to the greatest. Then shall mankind do YOUR will and the reward of righteous service shall be peace

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The purpose of prayer is not to get us out of troubles, but to get us into prayer.

FAITHFUL AFFLICTION
"I know, O LORD, that YOUR judgments are right, and in faithfulness YOU have afflicted me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 75 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Trying to understand the purposes of the MAJESTIC CREATOR when defeat or afflictions come into our life is one of the most bewildering and confusing features of the CHRISTian, as it hinders or even stops our ministry and testimony for HIM. There have been many servants of GOD who were sincerely working for the LORD YESHUA, trying to obey HIS will and HIS WORD as best as they understood, but then suddenly were laid aside by sickness, or had their ministries stopped completely by the enemies of GOD, and sometimes even by fellow-CHRISTians, or for other reasons and could not discern why GOD would and did allow it to happen.

So, when afflictions do come, we must simply trust our SOVEREIGN LORD, knowing that whatever HE does is right and that our affliction is invested with HIS faithfulness. HE is the MASTER DESIGNER and, through MESSIAH YESHUA, has also become our HEAVENLY FATHER..."Furthermore, we have had human fathers who corrected us, and we paid them respect. Shall we not much more readily be in subjection to the FATHER of spirits and live? For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed best to them, but HE for our profit, that we may be partakers of HIS holiness." [Hebrews 12. 9 - 10] The LORD GOD knows what we don’t know "for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are MY WORDS and plans above yours, and MY thoughts greater than your thoughts." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 55. 9 Tanakh, Nevi’im] Therefore, we are assured "that all things work together for good to those who love GOD, to those who are the called according to HIS purpose." [Romans 8. 28] This verse is one of the most well-known and renowned of the many wonderful promises in the WRITTEN WORD. But at the same time, it is also difficult to consider during times of afflictions, troubles, or loss. Nevertheless, it is GOD’S promise and "all the promises of GOD in HIM are "Yes" and in HIM "Amen" to the glory of GOD through us. Now HE WHO establishes us with you in CHRIST and has anointed us is GOD, WHO also has sealed us and given us the SPIRIT in our hearts as a guarantee." [2 Corinthians 1. 20 - 22]

The EVERLASTING ONE knows the end from the beginning and in that wonderful Day when MESSIAH returns for HIS saints, all things will be revealed. " Ps 17:15 Then I, justified, will behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake in YOUR likeness, I shall be satisfied." [Psalms (Tehillym) 17. 15 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Until then, we wittingly trust HIM and are confident that it is GOD that works all things out for our good!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor, and power and might be to the LORD our GOD forever and ever, Amen & Amen May our blessings be abundant and welcomed! Heavenly Father hear our prayers, that our long-awaited Messiah YesHUA, the Son of David, King of kings comes quickly. And, may His Holy Temple be rebuilt speedily, even in our day, Amen!

May you be blessed with love, hope, health, wisdom and GOD’S incredibly amazing grace as you seek HIM.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When you are driven to your knees, you can have overwhelming confidence that there is no better place to go.

CHERUBIM OF GOLD
"[You shall make a Mercy-Seat of pure gold] ...Make two cherubim of gold - make them of hammered work — at the two ends of the Mercy-Seat. Make one cherub at one end and the other cherub at the other end; of one piece with the Mercy-Seat shall you make the cherubim at its two ends. The cherubim shall have their wings spread out above, shielding the cover with their wings. They shall confront each other, the faces of the cherubim being turned toward the Mercy-Seat." [Exodus (Shemot) 25. 18 - 19 Tanakh, Torah]

The two cherubim were to be as one with the Mercy-Seat. They typify the glorified believers who are one with the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. These symbols of redeemed humanity are now reality as seen by the innumerable company of Adam's race, from whom the curse has been removed [Revelation 22. 3], and who take their places about the Throne of GOD and of the LAMB, act as HIS servants there, behold HIS face and have HIS NAME on their foreheads. [Revelation 22. 4]

Two is the number suggesting union and agreement. The redeemed are in union with MESSIAH. The cherubim are the most exalted beings of the heavenly hosts, occupying the nearest position to the Throne of GOD. What an honor! We have been brought to the very Throne of GOD and given a seat with HIM. We have been made of one piece with the Mercy-Seat, heirs of GOD and joint-heirs with JESUS, partakers of the DIVINE nature, sons of GOD MOST HIGH! We rest in the finished work of Calvary and are "seated with CHRIST in the heavenlies!"

The "hammered work" prophesies of the sufferings of MESSIAH WHO was "beaten" to become our ATONEMENT for sin, our MERCY-SEAT. We are one with HIM; if we suffer with HIM, we shall also reign with HIM. [2 Timothy 2. 12]

Though it was a Mercy-Seat, no one could sit on it. Sitting would imply that the priest's work was finished and this was impossible. The priest was continually standing, offering sacrifices. There is only one HIGH PRIEST WHO sat down because HIS ministry was finished: "Every priest stands ministering daily and offering repeatedly the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. But this MAN (PRIEST would be more accurate here), after HE had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of GOD." [Hebrews 10. 11 - 12] Once before the LORD YESHUA "sat down" after HE had read the prophecy concerning HIMSELF and HIS work [Luke 4. 20] implying that HE would finish or fulfill the OLD COVENANT. ["It is finished!" — John 19. 30 w/Hebrews 1. 3]

The cherubim were not to look upon one another, nor look under the cover at the law man failed to keep, nor eastward toward the people who were sinners. ALMIGHTY GOD commanded that their faces should be toward the Mercy-Seat. . . for upon this Sacred Cover was the blood of the sacrifice which was priceless. The reason for this "kapporeth (covering)" was the blood of atonement that it held. Here was the means of atonement for Israel . Here forgiveness and pardon was offered up for them. It was by this means that a way of access to the LOVING CREATOR was made on their behalf. It was the "precious blood" in which the cherubim were interested as their faces looked toward the Mercy-Seat. "You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold...but with the precious blood of CHRIST, the SPOTLESS LAMB." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 19]

Ceaselessly throughout eternity we will behold the Blood of Atonement remembering it was the work of the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA on the rugged cross which gives us the high privilege and honor to be one with HIM in glory!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Praised is YOUR HOLY NAME, O LORD GOD. YOU have made YOUR eternal law our portion, and gave us a goodly heritage. YOU appointed us to proclaim YOUR truth to the nations and to win them for YOUR Law of Righteousness. Sanctify us for the service to which YOU called us, O HEAVENLY FATHER, that YOUR NAME may be hallowed through us in all the world. Gather all YOUR children around YOUR banner of truth that YOUR praise may resound from one end of the earth to the other, and that the entire human family may be blessed with truth and peace!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
