Watch VIDEO: Obama defends Islam in his remarks about Jordanian pilot being burned alive by Islamic State
Whatever ideology they are operating under is “bankrupt.” Whatever ideology? That’s his default narrative in the wake of jihadi attacks. Scrubbing, whitewashing and sanitizing Islam.
As for “bankrupt,” the Islamic State is the richest Islamic terrorist group in the world. And their daily oil revenues are in the millions.
The Islamic State was quoting quran chapter and verse, and that’s all Obama can come up with? “Whatever ideology.” He is evil.
He didn’t want to talk about the pilot being set afire. He wanted to “talk about how to make people healthier and make their lives better.” Well, how about protecting them from jihad? That’s a “healthy strategy.” They will make a lot of people’s “lives better.”
Did FDR and Churchill sit around and flap their tongues about Germans who weren’t members of the Nazi party, or the Japanese who weren’t Shintos?
OT but related: Valerie Jarrett sitting to the left of Obama in the video with that Cheshire smile on her face is contemptible.

Qatar and Saudi Arabia 'have ignited time bomb by funding global spread of radical Islam'
General Jonathan Shaw, Britain's former Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff, says Qatar and Saudi Arabia responsible for spread of radical Islam
Qatar and Saudi Arabia have ignited a "time bomb" by funding the global spread of radical Islam, according to a former commander of British forces in Iraq.
General Jonathan Shaw, who retired as Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff in 2012, told The Telegraph that Qatar and Saudi Arabia were primarily responsible for the rise of the extremist Islam that inspires Isil terrorists.
The two Gulf states have spent billions of dollars on promoting a militant and proselytising interpretation of their faith derived from Abdul Wahhab, an eighteenth century scholar, and based on the Salaf, or the original followers of the Prophet.

But the rulers of both countries are now more threatened by their creation than Britain or America, argued Gen Shaw. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) has vowed to topple the Qatari and Saudi regimes, viewing both as corrupt outposts of decadence and sin.
So Qatar and Saudi Arabia have every reason to lead an ideological struggle against Isil, said Gen Shaw. On its own, he added, the West's military offensive against the terrorist movement was likely to prove "futile".

JIHAD WATCH
Islamic State plans 24-hour jihad TV channel
Why? CNN, MSNBC and the BBC aren’t enough for them? “The Islamic State Plans TV Channel, According to Reports,” by Debra Kamin, Variety, January 19, 2015:

According to reports in both Israeli and international media this week, the Islamic State has a 24-hour television channel in the works.
The station, which if launched will take Isis’ well-polished propaganda machine to an entirely new level, will feature round-the-clock news and commentary that supports its jihadist ideology.

The terror organization has waged a shockingly bloody campaign in recent months to seize large swaths of Iraq and Syria, and it has utilized both Twitter and YouTube, as well as Iraqi radio bandwidth, to spread its message and galvanize support among terrorist sympathizers. It has its own English-language magazine, Daqib, as well as a video series, on both YouTube and other content-sharing sites, dubbed “The Flames of War.”
Earlier this week, Isis posted two Arabic-language short teasers purportedly for the upcoming station, a channel that will be called the Islamic Caliphate Broadcast. Both featured sharply edited still images and promise in-depth video to come. According to the Israeli daily Haaretz, one of the programs will offer guidance and support on how to recruit Muslim sympathizers into Isis’ ranks. The same Haaretz report said that the station would also feature a video series by British captive John Cantile, as well as a daily news program….

Self-proclaimed 'Islamic State chief of staff in Palestine' arrested
Former public defender Adnan a-Din among seven-strong cell of Islamic State supporters arrested by Israel for attempting to join terror organization; charged with planning to kill security officials and Druze.

Published:     01.18.15, 12:57 / Israel News

even Israeli Arabs have been charged with membership of an illegal organization for attempting to join Islamic State, it was cleared for publication Sunday. Among the seven is Adnan Jamil Ala a-Din, a 39-year-old former public defender from Nazareth, who has branded himself the "Islamic State chief of staff in Palestine."

Follow Ynetnews on Facebook and Twitter

The group intially comprised brothers Karim and Charif Abu Salah from Sakhnin, aged 21 and 30, respectively; their cousin Aala Mohammed Abu Salah, 28; relative Mohammed Ibrahim Abu Salah, also 28; Fadi Bashir, the 28-year-old son of a former Sakhnin mayor; and 30-year-old Hosam Marisat, a friend of the Abu Salah brothers.

The six would meet in the Sakhnin area and discuss radical Islam, for which they all expressed support, while being divided over whether to support Islamic State or the al-Nusra Front. Ultimately, in June 2014, they decided to support Islamic State and discussed ways to help the organization and even join it. After this, they met Ala a-Din via Facebook.

Ala a-Din took control of the group and begun to style himself as the "Islamic State's chief of staff in Palestine."

The defendants are charged with belonging to an illegal organization. Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon classed Islamic State an illegal organization last year, outlawing any activity related to the group, to help the defense establishment tackle Arab and Palestinian support for the group within Israel and the West Bank.

According to the indictment, the group met at a horse ranch in the Arab village of Kafr Manda, in the Galilee. There the seven practiced making firebombs and other makeshift weapons. They also attempted to raise funds for their hoped-for trip to Syria, which, according to the legal documents, puts the price of joining Islamic State at $1,500. They also bought sheep to practice slaughtering living beings.

In addition, the group had made contact online with Islamic State members in Syria, including Israeli nationals who went to Syria to fight as part of the radical organization.

Last week, Karim Abu Salah was arrested at Ben-Gurion Airport, attempting to fly abroad with more than NIS 40,000 (some$10,000), which he planned to hand over to Islamic State. He is charged with plotting to murder Israeli security officials and Israeli Druze, some of whom still maintain family ties with Syrian Druze.

He is also charged with seeking to obtain automatic weapons and trying to raise funds for weapons.

Last September, Ynet spoke with Ala a-Din after he was fired from the Public Defender's Office for his pro-Islamic terror comments during the 50-day Operation Protective Edge in Gaza.

"I am doing God's work and will continue to support (the group) as long as their actions follow God's decrees," he said at the time. "More and more people will support Daesh (the Arabic acronym for Islamic State), the moment they understand it is a national phenomena. Most Muslims do not know that there is a stable state with clear policies. This is a state that believes in the Quran and the Prophet Mohammed."

Negev man held for suspected ISIS ties
The Shin Bet and the southern branch of the police YAMAR investigative unit have also arrested an Israeli citizen in the Negev on suspicion of belonging to Islamic State. The arrest is unrelated to the group in the north.

The suspect, Omar Musa Khalil Abu Kush, was indicted in Be'er Sheva District Court on Sunday on charges of making contact with a foreign agent, supporting a terrorist organization and planning to launch an illegal organization.

Abu Kush was arrested on November 20, 2014, after police received information that he was active in Islamic State, and that he had encouraged others to join the group. The defendant had recently completed his medical studies at the Jordan University of Science and Technology.

During questioning, the man admitted support for Islamic State and said he had met with members of the group in Jordan, and had planned to go to Syria and join the fighting.

It emerged last week that a young Israeli Arab man from the central town of Qalansuwa had been caught and tortured by the ruling regime in Syria as he tried to join the opposition forces.

About two weeks ago, it was cleared for publication that the Shin Bet and IDF arrested a terror cell in November 2014, which identified ideologically and religiously with Islamic State and whose members planned different types of terror attacks targeting Israeli civilians and soldiers.

WATCH: This Muslim's Story of Converting from Jihad to Jesus Will Blow You Away

It's a conversion story that matches that of Saul of Tarsus.

Jerry Rassamni was caught in the middle of a religious war in Lebanon, one in which he was fighting against Christianity.
"People were slaughtered because of their religion," says Jerry Rassamni. "There was so much hatred."
It was that hatred that fueled him to fight the Jihad—or Muslim Holy War. He says he was addicted to gun powder, had to kill or be killed.
"Christians were abominous, hated, and I really thought they were the devil incarnate," Rassamni says.
But Muslim violence was not the answer, and Rassamni began seeking out other answers—Christian answers.
"When religion tells you man is basically good, it is a lie of colossal dimensions," he says.
Watch the video below for his powerful testimony!

You Can't Understand ISIS If You Don't Know the History of Wahhabism in Saudi Arabia
Posted: 08/27/2014 11:56 am EDT Updated: 10/27/2014 5:59 am EDT

BEIRUT -- The dramatic arrival of Da'ish (ISIS) on the stage of Iraq has shocked many in the West. Many have been perplexed -- and horrified -- by its violence and its evident magnetism for Sunni youth. But more than this, they find Saudi Arabia's ambivalence in the face of this manifestation both troubling and inexplicable, wondering, "Don't the Saudis understand that ISIS threatens them, too?"
It appears -- even now -- that Saudi Arabia's ruling elite is divided. Some applaud that ISIS is fighting Iranian Shiite "fire" with Sunni "fire"; that a new Sunni state is taking shape at the very heart of what they regard as a historical Sunni patrimony; and they are drawn by Da'ish's strict Salafist ideology.
Other Saudis are more fearful, and recall the history of the revolt against Abd-al Aziz by the Wahhabist Ikhwan (Disclaimer: this Ikhwan has nothing to do with the Muslim Brotherhood Ikhwan -- please note, all further references hereafter are to the Wahhabist Ikhwan, and not to the Muslim Brotherhood Ikhwan), but which nearly imploded Wahhabism and the al-Saud in the late 1920s.
Many Saudis are deeply disturbed by the radical doctrines of Da'ish (ISIS) -- and are beginning to question some aspects of Saudi Arabia's direction and discourse.
THE SAUDI DUALITY
Saudi Arabia's internal discord and tensions over ISIS can only be understood by grasping the inherent (and persisting) duality that lies at the core of the Kingdom's doctrinal makeup and its historical origins.
One dominant strand to the Saudi identity pertains directly to Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab (the founder of Wahhabism), and the use to which his radical, exclusionist puritanism was put by Ibn Saud. (The latter was then no more than a minor leader -- amongst many -- of continually sparring and raiding Bedouin tribes in the baking and desperately poor deserts of the Nejd.)
The second strand to this perplexing duality, relates precisely to King Abd-al Aziz's subsequent shift towards statehood in the 1920s: his curbing of Ikhwani violence (in order to have diplomatic standing as a nation-state with Britain and America); his institutionalization of the original Wahhabist impulse -- and the subsequent seizing of the opportunely surging petrodollar spigot in the 1970s, to channel the volatile Ikhwani current away from home towards export -- by diffusing a cultural revolution, rather than violent revolution throughout the Muslim world.
But this "cultural revolution" was no docile reformism. It was a revolution based on Abd al-Wahhab's Jacobin-like hatred for the putrescence and deviationism that he perceived all about him -- hence his call to purge Islam of all its heresies and idolatries.
MUSLIM IMPOSTORS
The American author and journalist, Steven Coll, has written how this austere and censorious disciple of the 14th century scholar Ibn Taymiyyah, Abd al-Wahhab, despised "the decorous, arty, tobacco smoking, hashish imbibing, drum pounding Egyptian and Ottoman nobility who travelled across Arabia to pray at Mecca."
In Abd al-Wahhab's view, these were not Muslims; they were imposters masquerading as Muslims. Nor, indeed, did he find the behavior of local Bedouin Arabs much better. They aggravated Abd al-Wahhab by their honoring of saints, by their erecting of tombstones, and their "superstition" (e.g. revering graves or places that were deemed particularly imbued with the divine).
All this behavior, Abd al-Wahhab denounced as bida -- forbidden by God.
Like Taymiyyah before him, Abd al-Wahhab believed that the period of the Prophet Muhammad's stay in Medina was the ideal of Muslim society (the "best of times"), to which all Muslims should aspire to emulate (this, essentially, is Salafism).
Taymiyyah had declared war on Shi'ism, Sufism and Greek philosophy. He spoke out, too against visiting the grave of the prophet and the celebration of his birthday, declaring that all such behavior represented mere imitation of the Christian worship of Jesus as God (i.e. idolatry). Abd al-Wahhab assimilated all this earlier teaching, stating that "any doubt or hesitation" on the part of a believer in respect to his or her acknowledging this particular interpretation of Islam should "deprive a man of immunity of his property and his life."
One of the main tenets of Abd al-Wahhab's doctrine has become the key idea of takfir. Under the takfiri doctrine, Abd al-Wahhab and his followers could deem fellow Muslims infidels should they engage in activities that in any way could be said to encroach on the sovereignty of the absolute Authority (that is, the King). Abd al-Wahhab denounced all Muslims who honored the dead, saints, or angels. He held that such sentiments detracted from the complete subservience one must feel towards God, and only God. Wahhabi Islam thus bans any prayer to saints and dead loved ones, pilgrimages to tombs and special mosques, religious festivals celebrating saints, the honoring of the Muslim Prophet Muhammad's birthday, and even prohibits the use of gravestones when burying the dead.

"Those who would not conform to this view should be killed, their wives and daughters violated, and their possessions confiscated, he wrote. "

Abd al-Wahhab demanded conformity -- a conformity that was to be demonstrated in physical and tangible ways. He argued that all Muslims must individually pledge their allegiance to a single Muslim leader (a Caliph, if there were one). Those who would not conform to this view should be killed, their wives and daughters violated, and their possessions confiscated, he wrote. The list of apostates meriting death included the Shiite, Sufis and other Muslim denominations, whom Abd al-Wahhab did not consider to be Muslim at all.
There is nothing here that separates Wahhabism from ISIS. The rift would emerge only later: from the subsequent institutionalization of Muhammad ibn ʿAbd al-Wahhab's doctrine of "One Ruler, One Authority, One Mosque" -- these three pillars being taken respectively to refer to the Saudi king, the absolute authority of official Wahhabism, and its control of "the word" (i.e. the mosque).
It is this rift -- the ISIS denial of these three pillars on which the whole of Sunni authority presently rests -- makes ISIS, which in all other respects conforms to Wahhabism, a deep threat to Saudi Arabia.
BRIEF HISTORY 1741- 1818
Abd al-Wahhab's advocacy of these ultra radical views inevitably led to his expulsion from his own town -- and in 1741, after some wanderings, he found refuge under the protection of Ibn Saud and his tribe. What Ibn Saud perceived in Abd al-Wahhab's novel teaching was the means to overturn Arab tradition and convention. It was a path to seizing power.
"Their strategy -- like that of ISIS today -- was to bring the peoples whom they conquered into submission. They aimed to instill fear. "

Ibn Saud's clan, seizing on Abd al-Wahhab's doctrine, now could do what they always did, which was raiding neighboring villages and robbing them of their possessions. Only now they were doing it not within the ambit of Arab tradition, but rather under the banner of jihad. Ibn Saud and Abd al-Wahhab also reintroduced the idea of martyrdom in the name of jihad, as it granted those martyred immediate entry into paradise.

In the beginning, they conquered a few local communities and imposed their rule over them. (The conquered inhabitants were given a limited choice: conversion to Wahhabism or death.) By 1790, the Alliance controlled most of the Arabian Peninsula and repeatedly raided Medina, Syria and Iraq.
Their strategy -- like that of ISIS today -- was to bring the peoples whom they conquered into submission. They aimed to instill fear. In 1801, the Allies attacked the Holy City of Karbala in Iraq. They massacred thousands of Shiites, including women and children. Many Shiite shrines were destroyed, including the shrine of Imam Hussein, the murdered grandson of Prophet Muhammad.
A British official, Lieutenant Francis Warden, observing the situation at the time, wrote: "They pillaged the whole of it [Karbala], and plundered the Tomb of Hussein... slaying in the course of the day, with circumstances of peculiar cruelty, above five thousand of the inhabitants ..."
Osman Ibn Bishr Najdi, the historian of the first Saudi state, wrote that Ibn Saud committed a massacre in Karbala in 1801. He proudly documented that massacre saying, "we took Karbala and slaughtered and took its people (as slaves), then praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds, and we do not apologize for that and say: 'And to the unbelievers: the same treatment.'"
In 1803, Abdul Aziz then entered the Holy City of Mecca, which surrendered under the impact of terror and panic (the same fate was to befall Medina, too). Abd al-Wahhab's followers demolished historical monuments and all the tombs and shrines in their midst. By the end, they had destroyed centuries of Islamic architecture near the Grand Mosque.
But in November of 1803, a Shiite assassin killed King Abdul Aziz (taking revenge for the massacre at Karbala). His son, Saud bin Abd al Aziz, succeeded him and continued the conquest of Arabia. Ottoman rulers, however, could no longer just sit back and watch as their empire was devoured piece by piece. In 1812, the Ottoman army, composed of Egyptians, pushed the Alliance out from Medina, Jeddah and Mecca. In 1814, Saud bin Abd al Aziz died of fever. His unfortunate son Abdullah bin Saud, however, was taken by the Ottomans to Istanbul, where he was gruesomely executed (a visitor to Istanbul reported seeing him having been humiliated in the streets of Istanbul for three days, then hanged and beheaded, his severed head fired from a canon, and his heart cut out and impaled on his body).
In 1815, Wahhabi forces were crushed by the Egyptians (acting on the Ottoman's behalf) in a decisive battle. In 1818, the Ottomans captured and destroyed the Wahhabi capital of Dariyah. The first Saudi state was no more. The few remaining Wahhabis withdrew into the desert to regroup, and there they remained, quiescent for most of the 19th century.
HISTORY RETURNS WITH ISIS
It is not hard to understand how the founding of the Islamic State by ISIS in contemporary Iraq might resonate amongst those who recall this history. Indeed, the ethos of 18th century Wahhabism did not just wither in Nejd, but it roared back into life when the Ottoman Empire collapsed amongst the chaos of World War I.
The Al Saud -- in this 20th century renaissance -- were led by the laconic and politically astute Abd-al Aziz, who, on uniting the fractious Bedouin tribes, launched the Saudi "Ikhwan" in the spirit of Abd-al Wahhab's and Ibn Saud's earlier fighting proselytisers.
The Ikhwan was a reincarnation of the early, fierce, semi-independent vanguard movement of committed armed Wahhabist "moralists" who almost had succeeded in seizing Arabia by the early 1800s. In the same manner as earlier, the Ikhwan again succeeded in capturing Mecca, Medina and Jeddah between 1914 and 1926. Abd-al Aziz, however, began to feel his wider interests to be threatened by the revolutionary "Jacobinism" exhibited by the Ikhwan. The Ikhwan revolted -- leading to a civil war that lasted until the 1930s, when the King had them put down: he machine-gunned them.
For this king, (Abd-al Aziz), the simple verities of previous decades were eroding. Oil was being discovered in the peninsular. Britain and America were courting Abd-al Aziz, but still were inclined to support Sharif Husain as the only legitimate ruler of Arabia. The Saudis needed to develop a more sophisticated diplomatic posture.
So Wahhabism was forcefully changed from a movement of revolutionary jihad and theological takfiri purification, to a movement of conservative social, political, theological, and religious da'wa (Islamic call) and to justifying the institution that upholds loyalty to the royal Saudi family and the King's absolute power.
OIL WEALTH SPREAD WAHHABISM
With the advent of the oil bonanza -- as the French scholar, Giles Kepel writes, Saudi goals were to "reach out and spread Wahhabism across the Muslim world ... to "Wahhabise" Islam, thereby reducing the "multitude of voices within the religion" to a "single creed" -- a movement which would transcend national divisions. Billions of dollars were -- and continue to be -- invested in this manifestation of soft power.
It was this heady mix of billion dollar soft power projection -- and the Saudi willingness to manage Sunni Islam both to further America's interests, as it concomitantly embedded Wahhabism educationally, socially and culturally throughout the lands of Islam -- that brought into being a western policy dependency on Saudi Arabia, a dependency that has endured since Abd-al Aziz's meeting with Roosevelt on a U.S. warship (returning the president from the Yalta Conference) until today.
Westerners looked at the Kingdom and their gaze was taken by the wealth; by the apparent modernization; by the professed leadership of the Islamic world. They chose to presume that the Kingdom was bending to the imperatives of modern life -- and that the management of Sunni Islam would bend the Kingdom, too, to modern life.
"On the one hand, ISIS is deeply Wahhabist. On the other hand, it is ultra radical in a different way. It could be seen essentially as a corrective movement to contemporary Wahhabism."

But the Saudi Ikhwan approach to Islam did not die in the 1930s. It retreated, but it maintained its hold over parts of the system -- hence the duality that we observe today in the Saudi attitude towards ISIS.

On the one hand, ISIS is deeply Wahhabist. On the other hand, it is ultra radical in a different way. It could be seen essentially as a corrective movement to contemporary Wahhabism.
ISIS is a "post-Medina" movement: it looks to the actions of the first two Caliphs, rather than the Prophet Muhammad himself, as a source of emulation, and it forcefully denies the Saudis' claim of authority to rule.
As the Saudi monarchy blossomed in the oil age into an ever more inflated institution, the appeal of the Ikhwan message gained ground (despite King Faisal's modernization campaign). The "Ikhwan approach" enjoyed -- and still enjoys -- the support of many prominent men and women and sheikhs. In a sense, Osama bin Laden was precisely the representative of a late flowering of this Ikhwani approach.
Today, ISIS' undermining of the legitimacy of the King's legitimacy is not seen to be problematic, but rather a return to the true origins of the Saudi-Wahhab project.
In the collaborative management of the region by the Saudis and the West in pursuit of the many western projects (countering socialism, Ba'athism, Nasserism, Soviet and Iranian influence), western politicians have highlighted their chosen reading of Saudi Arabia (wealth, modernization and influence), but they chose to ignore the Wahhabist impulse.
After all, the more radical Islamist movements were perceived by Western intelligence services as being more effective in toppling the USSR in Afghanistan -- and in combatting out-of-favor Middle Eastern leaders and states.
Why should we be surprised then, that from Prince Bandar's Saudi-Western mandate to manage the insurgency in Syria against President Assad should have emerged a neo-Ikhwan type of violent, fear-inducing vanguard movement: ISIS? And why should we be surprised -- knowing a little about Wahhabism -- that "moderate" insurgents in Syria would become rarer than a mythical unicorn? Why should we have imagined that radical Wahhabism would create moderates? Or why could we imagine that a doctrine of "One leader, One authority, One mosque: submit to it, or be killed" could ever ultimately lead to moderation or tolerance?
Or, perhaps, we never imagined.

Scathing letter to French President Hollande from a Palestinian journalist in Ramallah
His Excellency, François Hollande
Dear Mr. President,
150108165741-je-suis-charlie-cartoon-sebastian-tanti-burlo-super-169

Gatestone  First, I wish to express my deep condolences over the killing of innocent citizens in the recent terror attacks in Paris.

Second, I want to apologize to Your Excellency for not revealing my true identity. After you read my letter, you will realize why people like me are afraid to reveal their real identity.
Your Excellency, many Palestinians nearly fell off their chairs upon seeing their president march at the front row of a rally in your capital to protest against terrorism and assaults on freedom of the media.

Abbas, last person on the right

Like many Palestinians, I see President Abbas’s participation in a rally against terrorism and assaults on freedom of speech as an act of hypocrisy — a condition that is not alien to Palestinian Authority leaders. President Abbas’s participation in the rally is an insult to the victims of the terror attacks. It is also an insult to Western values, including freedom of expression and democracy.
Undoubtedly, you are unaware of the fact that President Abbas is personally responsible for punishing Palestinian journalists who dare to criticize him or express their views in public. Every day we see that the Western media, including French newspapers and magazines, does not care about such violations unless they are committed by Israel.

That is why you are probably unaware of the cases of several Palestinian journalists who have been arrested and intimidated by President Abbas’s security forces over the past few years. Yes, this is the same Abbas who came to Paris to express his condolences over the brutal killing of the Charlie Hebdo journalists.

Your Excellency, you are completely mistaken if you believe that Abbas and his Palestinian Authority are tolerant toward satire or any form of criticism. While he was attending the rally, a human rights group published a report accusing the Palestinian Authority of “waging war” against university students in the West Bank.
Screen-Shot-2015-01-11-at-7.59.23-AM

And, if you want further evidence of President Abbas’s clampdown on political satire, you can ask Palestinian comedians Abdel Rahman Daher and Mahmoud Rizek. The two men are currently in Jordan because they are afraid to return to the West Bank. No, Your Excellency, they are NOT afraid to return home because of Israel. They are afraid of being arrested by President Abbas’s security forces, which accuse the two men of insulting their leader.

You can learn a lot about this by going on the Internet and seeing, with your own eyes, how our president often condones and glorifies terrorism and terrorists. You will even discover that our president is prepared to stay awake all night to welcome Palestinians released from Israeli prison for murdering Jews and committing terror attacks no less serious than the ones your country experienced last week.
Abbas and Hollande

You will also discover, that our president also rewards terrorists by granting them monthly salaries and other privileges.
President Abbas should be the last person to walk in a march honoring journalists who were massacred because of their satirical work. By extending the invitation to President Abbas, you have caused damage to Palestinians like me who have been hoping that someone — maybe even a leader like you — would finally expose the dictatorship of the Palestinian Authority for what it is. President Abbas’s participation in the Paris rally is a severe blow to people like me who are genuinely opposed to terrorism and suppression of free speech.
article-edd9b36e-6482-4380-8f3a-1906f58860a0-6VWc9hKmSHSK2-866_634x476

President Abbas has managed once again to deceive you and the rest of the international community. He now has managed to create the false impression that he cares about freedom of speech and independent journalism
Palestinians like me will now pay a heaver price because Abbas has been emboldened and will now step up his assaults. France will be helping to establish another corrupt and repressive Arab dictatorship — one that glorifies and rewards terrorists no different from those who carried out the Paris attacks.
I hope now your Excellency understands why I am too scared to reveal my identity.
Sincerely,
A Palestinian Journalist with No Name or Voice
one mans terrorist

6 TIMES THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SAID ITS JOB WAS TO PROMOTE ISLAM
VIDEO OBAMA IS PEACE ISLAM IS US
On Thursday, White House press secretary Josh Earnest announced that the Obama administration would prioritize fighting Islamophobia in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on Charlie Hebdo in France. Never mind that most Westerners aren’t Islamophobic, but rather GettingShotInTheFaceForExpressingMyOpinion-Phobic.

The real problem, according to the Obama administration, is lack of leadership in defending Islam:
There are some individuals that are using a peaceful religion and grossly distorting it, and trying to use its tenets to inspire people around the globe to carry out acts of violence. And we have enjoyed significant success in enlisting leaders in the Muslim community, like I said, both in the United States and around the world to condemn that kind of messaging, to condemn those efforts to radicalize individuals, and to be clear about what the tenets of Islam actually are.  And we’re going to redouble those efforts in the days and weeks ahead.
This, of course, is not the first time the Obama administration has discovered a duty to illuminate the inherent beauty and wonder of Islam. Over and over again, the Obama administration, in high culturally imperialist dudgeon, has attempted to explain to the world the true meaning of Islam.
Here are five other examples:
President Obama, 2009: Immediately upon taking office, Obama did an interview with Al-Arabiya in which he explained that his job as president encompassed apologizing to the Muslim world for evil America, and explaining to Americans that Muslims are the cream of the religious crop:
My job is to communicate to the American people that the Muslim world is filled with extraordinary people who simply want to live their lives and see their children live better lives. My job to the Muslim world is to communicate that the Americans are not your enemy.
If you forgot the provision of Article II of the Constitution that gives the president the authority to do outreach on behalf of Islam in the United States, that’s because it doesn’t exist. But don’t worry: Obama’s on the job.
President Obama, 2009: In speaking about Islam at Cairo University on June 4, 2009 – a speech to which the Obama administration invited the then-banned Muslim Brotherhood – Obama stated:
So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed.  That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t.  And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.
If you forgot the provision of Article II of the Constitution that places responsibility for fighting negative stereotypes of Islam in the hands of the executive branch, that’s because it doesn’t exist. But don’t worry: Obama’s on the job.
NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, 2010: Speaking with Al-Jazeera, the head of NASA explained that the mission of the space agency would now include outreach to Muslims:
When I became the NASA Administrator, [President Obama] charged me with three things. One, he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math; he wanted me to expand our international relationships; and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science, math and engineering.
If you forgot the provision of the National Aeronautics and Space Act that grants authority to NASA to make Muslims feel good about medieval contributions to astronomy, that’s because it doesn’t exist. But don’t worry: Obama’s on the job.
President Obama, 2012: In the aftermath of the murder of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, President Obama took to the podium of the United Nations to condemn a YouTube filmmaker in the United States exercising freedom of speech:
[A] crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world.  Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity.
It is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well — for as the city outside these walls makes clear, we are a country that has welcomed people of every race and every faith.  We are home to Muslims who worship across our country.  We not only respect the freedom of religion, we have laws that protect individuals from being harmed because of how they look or what they believe.  We understand why people take offense to this video because millions of our citizens are among them….The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam.

If you forgot the provision of the First Amendment to the Constitution that gives the president of the United States the authority to officially criticize exercise of First Amendment rights under color of authority, that’s because it doesn’t exist. But don’t worry: Obama’s on the job.
Secretary of State John Kerry, 2014: Last year, as ISIS released video after video of the beheadings of Westerners, Secretary of State Kerry explained that his mission was to promote true Islam – which makes perfect sense, given his status as imam of Martha’s Vineyard:
[Our effort] has to start major efforts to delegitimize ISIS’s claim to some religious foundation for what it’s doing and begin to put real Islam out there and draw lines throughout the region.
If you forgot the provision of Article II that lends authority to the State Department to “begin to put real Islam out there,” presumably in violation of the separation of church and state, that’s because it doesn’t exist. But don’t worry: Obama’s on the job.
Even as the Obama administration pretends to push “true Islam,” the Obama administration completely ignored the words of Egyptian leader General Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, who just days ago called for a “religious revolution” in the Muslim world. Al-Sisi explained:
I say and repeat, again, that we are in need of a religious revolution. You imams are responsible before Allah. The entire world is waiting on you. The entire world is waiting for your word … because the Islamic world is being torn, it is being destroyed, it is being lost. And it is being lost by our own hands….It’s inconceivable that the thinking that we hold most sacred should cause the entire Islamic world to be a source of anxiety, danger, killing and destruction for the rest of the world. Impossible that this thinking — and I am not saying the religion — I am saying this thinking. This is antagonizing the entire world. It’s antagonizing the entire world! Does this mean that 1.6 billion people (Muslims) should want to kill the rest of the world’s inhabitants — that is 7 billion — so that they themselves may live? Impossible!
Al-Sisi seems significantly more qualified to lead an educational effort about Islam than Barack Obama. But for the Obama administration to recognize the truth of al-Sisi’s statement would suggest that their own ignorance about Islam has prevented them from effecting change for the past six years. And that is an admission that President Obama and his lackeys refuse to make, given their deeply held belief that Islam isn’t the problem in any way.

3,400 killed in jihad suicide bombings in 2014 — 94% increase
ISLAM: THE WAR ON JIHAD
3,400 dead in jihad-martyrdom suicide attacks, and the enemedia is once again wringing its hands over “islamophobia” and never dreaming of challenging the Muslim supremacist leaders in the West who wave this way by saying “Islam forbids suicide” and don’t lift a finger to reform Islam or work to stop this practice.

2015 is unlikely to be anything but much, much worse
“Report: 94% surge in suicide bombings in 2014 attributed to Islamic State,” i24 News, January 4, 2015 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

The number of suicide bombings around the world surged 94 percent in 2014 amid the rise of the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq and the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) said, in a report to be published Sunday, daily Haaretz reported.
Some 3,400 people were killed in suicide attacks last year, compared with 2,200 in 2013, a 37.5 percent increase. There were 592 bombings, compared with 305 in 2013, the INSS, a research institute and think tank affiliated with Tel Aviv University, found.
The significant increase in the role played by terrorist organizations identified with al-Qaida and global jihad in the planning and execution of suicide attacks is expected to continue in 2015 as well, the report said.
“Suicide bombings are not just an effective tactic for them in terms of their goal of causing death and destruction and establishing fear, but are also a commercial symbol and proof of the willingness of their activists to sacrifice themselves in the way of God,” the INSS pointed out in the report….

INSIDE THE FSA -- A SURREAL WAR DIARY FROM SYRIA
Journalist Lindsey Snell's chronicle of her sometimes surreal time among the teachers, farmers, and civil servants whom have become an army fighting Assad and the Islamic State three years into the brutal civil war.
Abandoned Mansions and Al Qaeda in Amusement Parks: A Surreal War Diary
Published on 22 Dec 2014
In this short film Vocativ's Lindsey Snell's chronicles her sometimes surreal time among the teachers, farmers, and civil servants whom the US is now supporting as they battle ISIS In Syria. Abandoned Mansions and Al Qaeda at Amusement Parks are a few of the things she saw in the Fall of 2014, as she and her team spent time with factions of the Free Syrian Army and civilians in and around Aleppo. They chronicle life in rebel-held territories three years into the brutal civil war. The mansions left behind by the rich who fled Syria are now military bases. Abandoned amusement parks are war trophies. Some schools are open, but they’re consistently hit with bombs by the Assad regime, often when students are inside. “The regime is clearly targeting schools. It’s in [Assad’s] benefit to keep the future generation illiterate,” a teacher tells us. Some displaced civilians have spent years in camps that routinely flood. In spite of the hardships, the Syrian people push on.

Islamic State (ISIS) Threatens to Blow Up the Historical Walls of Nineveh
Fourteen years after the Taliban blew up the Buddhas of Bamiyan, another historical landmark is threatened. The savages just keep advancing, while the world makes excuses for them and denies that they really believe what they say they believe.
Until the world comes to grips with the root causes of this savagery in Islamic texts and teachings, it can say goodbye to its archaeological treasures that are under Muslim control.
nico-tondini-boundary-wall-nineveh-iraq-middle-east
“ISIS Threatens to Blow Up the Historical Walls of Nineveh,” AINA, January 2, 2015:
The remains of the walls of Nineveh in north Iraq.
(AINA) — According to the Assyrian website www.ankawa.com, ISIS is planning to destroy the walls of Nineveh, the capital of the Assyrian Empire and one of the most important archaeological sites in Iraq. Nineveh was sacked in 612 B.C. when the Assyrian Empire was overthrown.Residents of the Bab Nergal area of Mosul said ISIS has informed them that it will blow up the walls of Nineveh with the start of operations to liberate Mosul by the Iraqi army.

In the last month ISIS has seized the content of the cultural museum in Mosul as well as destroyed Assyrian monuments in the city, which ISIS claims “distort Islam.”
Assyrians are the the only indigenous people of Iraq, going back to 4750 B.C. In 2003, just before the U.S. invasion, there were 1.5 million Assyrians living in Iraq. Today there are about 500,000 remaining. A sustained, low grade genocide (report) perpetrated by Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds drove hundreds of thousands of Assyrians into exile in Syria, Jordan, Turkey and Lebanon.
On August 7 of 2014, ISIS moved into the Nineveh Plain, the last stronghold of Assyrians in Iraq, forcing nearly 200,000 Assyrians to flee their homes and villages, where they now live as refugees in the Dohuk and Arbel areas.

US Special Ops commander on Islamic State: “We do not understand the movement, and until we do, we are not going to defeat it”
DECEMBER 29, 2014 10:22 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER 37 COMMENTS

NagataWhat Major General Nagata says is absolutely correct: the U.S. government and military does not understand the Islamic State, and as long as that continues, the U.S. will never defeat the Islamic State. But why don’t they understand the Islamic State? Because the Obama Administration has forbidden investigation of Islamic doctrine in connection with terrorism. The Obama Administration wants to pretend that jihad terror has nothing to do with Islam. As long as it persists in this delusion, the U.S. will never understand — or defeat — the Islamic State.
“In Battle to Defang ISIS, U.S. Targets Its Psychology,” by Eric Schmitt, New York Times, December 28, 2014 (thanks to Bill):
WASHINGTON — Maj. Gen. Michael K. Nagata, commander of American Special Operations forces in the Middle East, sought help this summer in solving an urgent problem for the American military: What makes the Islamic State so dangerous?
Trying to decipher this complex enemy — a hybrid terrorist organization and a conventional army — is such a conundrum that General Nagata assembled an unofficial brain trust outside the traditional realms of expertise within the Pentagon, State Department and intelligence agencies, in search of fresh ideas and inspiration. Business professors, for example, are examining the Islamic State’s marketing and branding strategies.
“We do not understand the movement, and until we do, we are not going to defeat it,” he said, according to the confidential minutes of a conference call he held with the experts. “We have not defeated the idea. We do not even understand the idea.”

The Islamic State’s Strategy For 2015: From Militant Group To Jihadist Government
By  Alessandria Masi @alessandriamasi a.masi@ibtimes.com on December 28 2014 7:00 AM
Militant Islamist fighters hold the flag of the Islamic State while taking part in a military parade in Syria's northern Raqqa province in this file photograph taken June 30, 2014. Reuters/Stringer
At the beginning of 2014, few people had heard of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. By the end of June, the militant group formerly known as either ISIL or ISIS had taken over vast chunks of both countries, connected them in what it called a caliphate and risen to worldwide recognition on a wave of gruesome, videotaped killings. Now, six months after bursting onto the world stage, the so-called Islamic State has become the international brand of jihad, and is locked in a war with a coalition led by the U.S.

For the militant group, 2014 was about rapidly expanding through a torrential social-media campaign featuring the shocking displays of brutality that have become its trademark. Next year, the Sunni militant group will likely focus on shoring up its caliphate. It will attempt to eliminate its local enemies and consolidate territory. Meanwhile, the appeal of the ISIS name and ideology may expand as the group uses its local base to rally a global community of sympathizers. It will also encourage lone-wolf attacks rather than try to stage a large-scale attack in the West, experts said.
“2015 is the year where we are going to see the IS as a government more than a terrorist organization,” said Jasmine Opperman, a South Africa-based analyst at the Terrorism Research and Analysis Consortium, or TRAC, a unit of the Beacham Group LLC headquartered in Nokomis, Florida. But the Islamic State group will not abandon the beheadings and massacres that are synonymous with it. “Though with the face of governance,” Opperman said, “we are to see extreme brutality to those opposing it.”
As for the caliphate itself, now under attack by near-daily U.S.-led coalition airstrikes, its expansion days may be over.
“It seems unlikely that it will have that innovative spark again and would be able to make such huge advances again,” said Raffaello Pantucci, director of the international security studies program at the Royal United Services Institute in London. “It will be much more of a story of the group trying to hold on to what they have and consolidate power.”
Normalizing Brutality
That consolidation of power won’t mean less violence. The Islamic State group is notorious for its ferocity toward captured Westerners, but it has been committing atrocities against local populations for nearly a decade, when it was still known as al Qaeda in Mesopotamia. Since June, the group has killed at least 1,500 Syrians and thousands more in Iraq, often massacring Shiites and other sectarian enemies when it seized a town.
In places where it is in control, residents are likely to see more “day-to-day brutality,” said Harleen Gambhir, an analyst at the Institute for the Study of War in Washington. “ISIS actually intends to normalize violence.”
In Mosul and Raqqa, the group’s headquarters in Iraq and Syria, respectively, militant violence increasingly plays a role in both the political and social spheres. Residents must attend Islamic State-run schools, use its hospitals and obey the laws enforced by its police forces. Anti-ISIS activist group Raqqa Is Being Slaughtered Silently posts daily updates of brutality that range from public crucifixions to forcing children to join Islamic State training camps.
Normalizing violence serves both to eliminate any whiff of disloyalty within the ranks and as a warning to others who oppose the caliphate. Recently, a gruesome report circulated claiming ISIS executed at least 100 of its own members for trying to leave the caliphate.
But violence isn’t enough. Islamic State members disdain the common Arabic acronym of the group’s name, Da’ash, and call their group al dawlah, simply “the state” -- a clear indication they see themselves as functionaries of a real government. To truly be one, the group must move beyond bloodshed and provide services ranging from power to health care throughout the territory it controls, something that will become harder as pressure from airstrikes intensifies.
Media Campaign
While working to legitimize the physical caliphate, the Islamic State group will maintain its propaganda campaign,  increasing its media outreach beyond the worldwide battle with al Qaeda for jihadist allegiance. The ISIS media effort will go local in 2015.
“Wilayats [provinces of the caliphate] now are starting to have their own media campaigns ... with a local focus to show the IS delivering a ‘better way of life,’” TRAC’s Opperman said.
Since the Islamic State declared its caliphate in June, the group has released at least 400 videos from four media production units, all with different target audiences. ISIS entities in Syria and Iraq each have their own dedicated media program, aimed at disseminating positive messages about life in the caliphate and the Islamic State ideology.
Media outreach will continue outside the caliphate, as well. This year, ISIS released a video announcing the caliphate’s expansion to Arab countries such as Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Algeria. It also announced the full rebranding of a terrorist group in Egypt’s Sinai, Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, which now follows commands from the Islamic State leadership and has its own ISIS-designed media campaign.
The change in media strategy goes hand-in-hand with a changed expansion plan. Rather than overrrunning towns and obliterating borders in Iraq and Syria, the the Islamic State group will focus on gaining allegiance from smaller, existing groups in Arab and Muslim countries.
But here is where ISIS faces its biggest challenge in the immediate future: competing for allegiance with al Qaeda and its affiliates in countries where caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has declared his own legitimacy and the “nullification” of others. There are many so-called independent jihadist groups that have yet to choose a side, and the Islamic State wants them.
“A lot of them are small and locally focused, so it’s easy to dismiss them, but part of the power of al Qaeda was the ability of its affiliates to tap into those locally focused groups,” the Institute for the Study of War’s Gambhir said.
During the past year, ISIS enforced a strict allegiance policy, hoping to gain support from al Qaeda’s many local branches. That netted the support of 20 extremist groups, which announced they had given bayah, or allegiance, to the Islamic State. But it missed the biggest prize: the allegiance of the Yemen-based Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, one of the strongest terrorist groups, which not only did not switch but also launched its own video recruitment campaign, aimed at slandering ISIS and marketing itself as the only viable option for jihadi hopefuls.
“The thing to watch for is ISIS actually directing activity in other countries,” Gambhir said. The first place is likely to be Libya, through the Shura Youth Council, active in Derna, she said. The jihadist group has already pledged allegiance to the caliphate and staged a number of rallies in support of the Islamic State.
But in terms of actual battles to seize territory. the group will stick to Iraq and Syria for the immediate future. It has to -- to keep what it already has gained.
“If you look at the polygon of territory that they’ve gained control of this year, there are several locations where they are actually still in combat,” Gambhir said. “There is an ongoing fight almost at every major front that ISIS has.”
Yet fighting the Islamic State just on the battlefield will not defeat it, Opperman said: “The IS has taken the jihadist battle into the specter of governance. and the question is how to counter the IS at both the military and governance levels.” It would be a mistake, she said, to place an “overemphasis on military combat.”

REPORTS ON ISIS - Page 4 Empty Children, While They Are Alive, Tear Open Their Bodies,

Post  Admin Sun 28 Dec 2014, 10:43 pm

By Theodore Shoebat

ISIS Takes Christian Children, While They Are Alive, Tear Open Their Bodies, Pull Their Organs And Bring Them To Saudi Arabia And Turkey
ISIS is taking young Christian children, as well as Shiites and others, tearing open their bodies as they are still breathing, tear out their organs, and bringing them into Turkey and Saudi Arabia. According to one report, the “body parts aren’t just harvested from soldiers killed in combat, but from living, breathing hostages including children abducted from the Shi’ite Muslim or Christian populations in Iraq and Syria.” I did a whole video on this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ICoSPShGpM#t=33

This organs trafficking was exposed by otolaryngologist Siruwan al-Mosuli, who said that he
lately he noticed unusual movement within medical facilities in Mosul. Arab and foreign surgeons were hired, but prohibited from mixing with local doctors. Information then leaked about organ selling. Surgeries take place within a hospital and organs are quickly transported through networks specialized in trafficking human organs. Mosuli said that the organs come from fallen fighters who were quickly transported to the hospital, injured people who were abandoned or individuals who were kidnapped.
He said that organ sales yield large profits. A specialized mafia is engaged in these operations, in addition to medical institutions working in other countries. Without coordination among these parties, such a trade cannot be sustained, he said. According to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the organization sells bodies and organs of injured people they arrest.

The Times of London exposed “a human trafficking network established by IS in Mosul, where women and children were sold for money. This also constitutes a funding source for the fighters. According to the newspaper, women and children of Yazidi, Christian and other minority backgrounds are also sold through a networking hub in Syria’s Raqqa.”

This story further substantiates what we have reported on before. Last month, in November, Shoebat.com interviewed Lazar, a veteran of the Serbian Special Forces, in which he revealed to how Muslims in Kosovo are kidnapping Serbian Christian men, women and children, and selling their organs to Turkey and Saudi Arabia, the same two countries that ISIS is bringing organs into as well.

Here is the interview in which he explained this to us

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9IoJvUWHu0

Many will consider it difficult to believe one man’s account. As I questioned Lazar on the issue, he sent me a video of a European documentary by Deutsche Welle which is part of Germany’s International Broadcaster   researched and confirmed how Albanian terrorists were taking organs from Christian Serbs and selling their organs:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufpexTFtr7U

Many people did not believe, and said that our interview with this Serbian warrior was some sort of blood libel. But now it is being reported by reputable sources that ISIS is doing the same exact thing. People did not believe us, but let this be an evidence that are reporting on the selling of Serbian Christians organs stands true. This is a common activity amongst Islamic terrorists and we are only going to be seeing more of this diabolical barbarity.

ISIS Beheads Christian Children In Baghdad; Experts Confirm Dirty Bomb Materials But World Has 'Nothing To Worry'
By Reissa Su | December 9, 2014 1:58 PM EST
ISIS militants have beheaded four Christian children in Baghdad for refusing to convert to Islam. The British "Vicar of Baghdad" Cannon Andrew White claims the beheading of the children was done in a Christian enclave near Baghdad where it was recently seized by ISIS fighters.

The Archbishop of Canterbury ordered White to leave Iraq for safety as he is one of the few Christian leaders left in Iraq, according to the Mirror. White said when Baghdad was overrun with militants, many people had fled to Nineveh, their traditional home. When ISIS came, they dragged the people out and "killed huge numbers." The British vicar said ISIS had "chopped children in half" and beheaded them before moving north.
He told the Orthodox Christian Network that ISIS was forcing Christians to convert to Islam or else they will be killed. One militant approached a Christian man and threatened him to say the words of conversion or his children will all be dead.
White was also told about the fate of young Christian children who were threatened with death if they don't say the words that they will follow Mohammed. The four children under the age of 15 said they loved "Yesua," which means Jesus, and refused to say the words. ISIS had chopped their heads off.
Meanwhile, experts have confirmed that ISIS militants had acquired materials to create a dirty bomb, a device which uses chemical or radiological materials combined with a conventional bomb. Despite this knowledge, experts say the world has nothing to worry about as any weapon the militants may develop out of those materials can be more effective in spreading fear than damage, according to Newsweek.
The British-born Muslim al-Britani posted on his Twitter account that ISIS has acquired the necessary materials to create a dirty bomb. The ISIS fighter has described himself as an expert in electronics and explosives. He claimed ISIS had stolen the dirty bomb materials from Iraq's Mosul University a few months ago.
Dina Esfandiary, who recently published a paper on the possibility of ISIS acquiring weapons of mass destruction with colleague Matthew Cottee, has confirmed ISIS militants had taken 40 kilogrammes of uranium but doubted their ability to turn the material into a nuclear device and people have "hothing to worry." The weapon would more likely cause more disruption than significant damage.  However, Esfiandary warned that nothing is impossible because if ISIS was determined to create a radiological weapon, the militants might find a way to do it.

ISIS Tells Christian Children To Deny Christ Or Be Beheaded. Their Response Is Awe-Inspiring
An incredible story of four young, Iraqi children and their encounter with the Islamic State has surface, and it should make every Christian in the Western world both outraged and impassioned.

Christians in the Middle East know what truth faith and real persecution is. They know the meaning of dying for one’s beliefs, something so common in Muslim countries, yet so foreign for us.
When ISIS insurgents gave four children, all under the age of 15, the choice of converting to Islam or being beheaded, the decision was simple.
“Islamic State turned up and said to the children, you say the words that you will follow Mohammed,” Canon Andrew White told the Orthodox Christian Network.
The demand for Christians to convert to Islam is nothing new, but the children’s response will leave you awe-struck:
“The children, all under 15, four of them, said ‘No, we love Yesua (the Iraqi name for Jesus), we have always loved Yesua, we have always followed Yesua, Yesua has always been with us.’”
White is an Anglican priest also known as the “Vicar of Baghdad.” He has long seen violence and persecution against religious minorities in the face of Islam.
White claims that the militants gave the children one last chance to convert, but again they refused, reaffirming their faith in Christ.
Just as they did in Mosul, the jihadists decapitated all four children.
White is now reaching out to Western Christians, hoping the children’s story will reach far and wide. He warns that it is impossible for Christians to live in Iraq because of the dangerous persecution by Muslims.
Already, more than 250,000 Christians have fled Northern Iraq, and ISIS has claimed to have driven out every last Christian from Mosul.
“Things were bad in Baghdad, there were bombs and shootings and our people were being killed, so many of our people fled back to Nineveh, their traditional home,” White added.
“It was safer, but then one day, ISIS – Islamic State… They came in and they hounded all of them out. They killed huge numbers, they chopped their children in half, they chopped their heads off, and they moved north and it was so terrible what happened.”
These horrific crimes against humanity are largely being ignored by the world. Millions of Christians are suffering as slaves, being slaughtered, or being driven out of their homeland.
ISIS does not discriminate. All non-Muslims are targets, regardless of sex or age. Their jihad extends back to the time of Muhammad, who is believed to have beheaded somewhere between 500-800 Jews, including children, all in one battle.
The words kill, fight, murder, slaughter, and slay appear over 35,000 times in the Quran and Hadith. As long as the world denies that the Quran teaches this kind of hatred and promotes this exact violence; men, women, and children will continue to be slaughtered in the name of Allah.
