Humiliating video of Obama mocking Trump on job creation is going viral

A resurfaced video is circulating showing former President Barack Obama mocking then-presidential candidate Donald Trump’s vision for improving the economy and bringing jobs back. The town hall event occurred during the 2016 election, and was broadcast by PBS.
In the video, Obama mockingly asks Trump: “what magic wand do you have?”
1.7 million new jobs later, Trump is having the last laugh.
I couldn’t do it — how can he?
According to RealClearPolitics, Obama was responding to a question from an employee of Carrier Air Conditioners, who had announced months earlier that they were closing a factory in the U.S. and moving to Mexico.
In response, Obama asked himself three rhetorical questions.
“When somebody says … that he’s going to bring all these jobs back, well how exactly are you going to do that?”
Obama went on.
“There’s — there’s no answer to it. He just says, Well, I’m going to negotiate a better deal. Well, how — what — how exactly are you going to negotiate that? What magic wand do you have? And usually, the answer is he doesn’t have an answer.”
Liberal Publications Agree, Trump Economy is Booming
Even left-leaning publications are admitting the economy is booming under Trump, despite Obama’s dismissal of Trump’s vision for the American economy.
The New York Times tweeted Friday, “The American job market is the strongest it’s been in a decade, and arguably the strongest since 2000.”
The tweet linked to an exhaustive data analysis of the economy, providing concrete evidence of its current strength:

Jobs Report: What to Watch For
Economists expect the report to show that the economy added about 200,000 jobs in November, a modest slowdown from October’s 261,000.

Recent statistics from the New York Times report came from the Labor Department and announced the addition of 228,000 jobs in the month of November.
Another left of center publication weighed in last month. According to The Economist, “the new approach in Washington does seem to have boosted business confidence.”
Trump’s ‘Magic Wand’
Trump ran on an economic platform that included deregulation, cutting, taxes, and re-negotiating trade deals. While taxes and trade deals are a work in progress, deregulation seems to have been the magic, and Trump’s wand, his executive order pen.
The editorial board at Investor’s Business Daily admits “it can no longer really be doubted: Donald Trump’s relentless focus on tax cuts, deregulation and draining the swamp is great for job growth.”
According to a new report from the Washington Examiner, new deregulation measures have not only spurred the economy, but will save the U.S. taxpayers money.
Simply cutting red tape and putting Obama-era regulations on hold have already saved $378 million since President Trump took office, and that savings is expected to jump into the billions next year when the administration’s anti-regulation campaign hits full stride.
Obama’s comments toward Trump were short-sighted, ignorant, and a microcosm of the systemic disconnect between Washington and middle America. Trump, meanwhile, continues to deliver on his campaign promises.
