Open Society Foundations Withdraws from Hungary After Orban’s ‘Repressive’ Anti-Soros Crackdown

15 May 20181,021
Globalist billionaire George Soros’s international grantmaking network is closing its Hungary office and will relocate to Germany in response to the government’s crackdown on foreign-funded NGOs.
“Faced with an increasingly repressive political and legal environment in Hungary, the Open Society Foundations (OSF) are moving their Budapest-based international operations and staff to the German capital, Berlin,” the network confirmed in a statement on Tuesday.

The decision to shut down operations in Hungary comes as Prime Minister Viktor Orbán “prepares to impose further restrictions on nongovernmental organisations through what it has branded its ‘Stop Soros’ package of legislation”, according to the statement.

Hitting out at the proposals, which would tax foreign NGO income and clamp down on so-called civil society efforts to promote illegal immigration, OSF President Patrick Gaspard blasted Budapest for “using tactics unprecedented in the history of the European Union” to “denigrate” and “repress” the group’s work.

As well as bemoaning “burdensome” transparency requirements on funding from abroad, the group registered its particular anger over measures in the package invoking national security interests, such as rules which would require NGOs working with asylum seekers to be licensed by the government.

Goerge Soros has been run out of town in Viktor Orban’s Hungary. Under pressure from Orban’s nationalist government, the Hungarian-born billionaire’s Soros Foundation said Tuesday that it will close its office in Budapest and re-locate to Berlin to get away from a “repressive political and legal environment.”

Orban’s government has waged a relentless campaign against Soros, promising to pass a “Stop Soros” law that would penalize non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that promote open borders.

Soros leaves Hungary
Soros, 87, has consistently denied trying to transform Hungary with mass migration. His Open Society Foundations (OSF) complained that Hungary had painted a misleading portrait of the group and its aims. “The government of Hungary has denigrated and misrepresented our work and repressed civil society for the sake of political gain, using tactics unprecedented in the history of the European Union,” OSF president Patrick Gaspard said in a statement.

The OSF said it would keep endorsing liberal “human rights” groups in Hungary, although those could also face pressure to leave. Orban’s cabinet minister Antal Rogan said Monday that other NGOs could feel the squeeze from a planned “Stop Soros” bill, which is expected to be one of the first laws passed by the new parliament.

Hungary announced the “Stop Soros” legislation earlier this year to address “national security concerns,” namely, immigration. The bill already penalizes NGOs that promote open borders immigration, allowing the interior minister to ban those that pose a “national security risk” and slap a 25 percent tax on foreign donations to groups that support migration. The Helsinki Committee, a top beneficiary of the OSF, said it expects pressure.

“Our situation is likely to get tougher,” said the group’s co-chair Marta Pardavi. “The Helsinki Committee is a definite splinter in the government’s eye, so whatever changes they are thinking about, our legal problems will persist.”

Parvadi said the group, which advocates for refugees, will not leave unless forced. A university founded by Soros in 1991, Central European University, said it would not leave Budapest despite the OSF’s decision to re-locate.

Campaign against Soros
The OSF had been under intense pressure from Hungary before announcing its departure from the Central European nation. Orban has repeatedly denounced Soros, claiming that he wants to undermine Hungary’s national and Christian identity with open borders politics.

Hungary won’t be sad to see Soros go. “We won’t be shedding any crocodile tears,” the government’s press office told AFP Tuesday.
Is this a win for Hungary?
Yes
No
Next

Orban attacked Soros throughout his campaign in April, accusing him of a nefarious plot to destroy Hungary with an army of 2,000 paid “mercenaries.” Billboards throughout Hungary depicted Soros with a menacing grin and captions like “Let’s not let Soros have the last laugh!”
While Soros, who is a Hungarian-born Jew, complained that Orban’s campaign used racist “anti-Semitic imagery from World War Two,” Orban’s government has denied accusations of racism.

Hungary challenges EU
Critics of Orban said that the OSF leaving was another step in Hungary’s turn towards authoritarianism. Hungary, a European Union member state, has come under criticism from the EU and its supporters for closing its borders to migrants and swerving towards illiberal democracy, even though its government was elected democratically. Orban’s right-wing nationalist Fidesz party was re-elected in a landslide last month.

Orban touted the “Stop Soros” bill at a stop in Warsaw on Monday. It was “one of the most important questions of the election, Hungarians voted for it,” he said.

Federal Suit Hits Soros for $10 Billion for ‘Political Meddling, Motivated Solely by Malice’
https://thedailybrexit.blogspot.co.uk/2018/05/federal-suit-hits-soros-for-10-billion.html

Billionaire globalist and altogether controversial figure, George Soros, is now the subject of a $10 billion lawsuit accusing him of being a “racketeer billionaire” for meddling in the affairs of a sovereign African nation — purely for personal reasons — in what critics say typifies his modus operandi.

See what others are saying about Soros and who he is in the comments section below.

FOX News reports the 86-year-old financier and manager of a global network of nonprofits will be forced by BSG Resources’ lawsuit to answer for manipulating the politics and economics of Guinea for his own benefit

Despite Soros’ often contentious dealings and reputation as a pompous busybody, the filing in New York Federal Court has thus far largely escaped the spotlight.

Soros, who controls a web of international nonprofits in addition to his vast financial empire, used his sway with the government of Guinea to freeze Israeli company BSG Resources out of the West African nation’s lucrative iron ore mining contracts, according to the suit filed last month in New York Federal Court by BSG Resources.

Whatever the ultimate outcome in the current case, it is not the first time Soros has been accused of sowing political upheaval to advance a personal agenda. Critics around the world, including in the U.S. and in Soros’ homeland of Hungary, say the liberal financier often masquerades as a humanitarian while manipulating the political landscape.

Stormy Daniels says she is not paying her lawyer

Stormy Daniels says she is not paying her lawyer
Photo - CBS Video
Yet another interesting turn has been taken in the Stormy Daniels case.

Ms. Daniels openly admitted on Twitter she is NOT paying her attorney Michael Avenatti.

Who is Footing the Bill
Bad jokes aside, the internet started to blow up trying to figure out exactly who is paying for Daniels’ attorney.

One of the more popular names that was thrown around was George Soros.

Someone else was trying to play sleuth, noting the DNC had just taken out a loan close to $2 million.

Eventually, Avenatti chimed in to deflect.

He pointed readers to a Crowd Source page that was accepting open donations to cover Stormy’s legal bills.

But, the question still remains… who is really ponying up the big bucks to pay for Avenatti’s bill?

The Case
Daniels has been swimming uphill in this case virtually from day one.

It all started with Daniels trying to cash in by going against her own non-disclosure agreement.

Seeing other women come forward and alleging affairs with Trump, she wanted to get a big payday.

Since coming forward, Daniels appearance fees have increased rather significantly, going from low five figures to six-figure fees.

While she has been able to cash in on her allegations in the short term, her actual legal case looks like it could be held up for years.

The FBI raid on Trump’s attorney’s hotel room and office led him to inform the judge in the Daniels suit that he would be taking the 5th while the federal case is pending.

Do You Think Storm Will Win Her Case?
Yes
No
Next
The judge had no choice but to place a 90-day stay on the case.

That stay could end up being significantly longer if the Feds end up indicting Cohen.

The worldwide conservative movement to end George Soros is finally getting some traction.

A just published report stated Soros’ Central European University (CEU) is being booted out of Hungary.

Stop Soros
Prime Minister Viktor Orban has made it his mission to rid his country of Soros’ influence.

Virtually moments after the latest election results were finalized, “Stop Soros” legislation was introduced.

While many on the left laughed at the suggestion of such a move, the legislation is clearly having an impact, and much sooner than most thought possible.

Since Soros and his organizations are considered a “national security risk,” the Hungarian government is doing anything and everything it can to remove his influence from its borders.

The new law stipulated the CEU must have a new branch opened up in New York to even be considered in Hungary.

While the “university” has done that, the Hungarian government is not exactly moving at light speed to allow the CEU to remain in Budapest.

Frustration
Those within the Soros hierarchy are now fuming the Hungarians are blocking them from digging their hooks in to the people of Hungary.

Since it would appear relocation of CEU is inevitable, the organization has “signed an agreement with the City of Vienna to open a new satellite campus there.”

Even with the new digs, though, not all is well for CEU.

Because the university has no idea where it will actually be located in the near future, recruiting staff is presenting some challenges.

Finally
It would appear as though conservative leaders around the world, at least everywhere but the United States, are finally catching on to Soros’ little game.

Soros has literally opened his bank account to liberals in an effort to promote open borders throughout the world.

Are You Glad Soros’ is Being Expelled from Hungary?
Yes
No
Next
This is not about him being friendly to immigrants, but rather his plan to be the most powerful and influential man in the world.

After all, why rule one country when you can rule them all.

Hungarian prime minister accuses George Soros of running clandestine ‘empire’

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban accused George Soros on Thursday of running a secret “empire” seeking to destroy Hungary.

Speaking to a crowd at a rally ahead of elections next month, the nationalist, anti-EU leader accused his opposition of working for the Hungarian-born, open borders philanthropist.

Orban is often critical of Soros, who he believes is trying to undermine Hungary through mass immigration.

Orban: the opposition works for Soros
Tens of thousands of Orban supporters gathered at an electoral rally in front of the parliament in Budapest Thursday to show their support for the ruling party. Orban, who is seeking a third term on April 8, told the crowd to fight back against “external forces and international powers” who want to flood the country with migrants. Chief among them: George Soros.

“Let’s not fool ourselves: the real foes we need to fight aren’t anemic little opposition parties, but an international network organized into an empire,” he said.

Orban accused opposition parties of having the backing of a shadowy empire controlled by Soros, who Orban has frequently accused of trying to change Hungary with mass migration. Orban accused Soros’s “empire” of trying to influence the election with the help of “international speculators” and media bankrolled by multi-national companies.

“External forces and international powers want to force all this (immigration) on us … with the help of their henchmen here in Hungary, and they see the coming election as a good opportunity for this.”

Should Soros stop pushing open borders in Hungary?
Yes
No
Next
Battle for Hungary’s future
Orban framed the election as a fateful battle for Hungary’s future:

They (external powers) want to take our country … they want to force us to give it up voluntarily over a few decades to strangers arriving from other continents who do not … respect our culture, our laws and our way of life.

Orban supporters were joined by thousands of supporters of Poland’s conservative PiS party. Poland and Hungary have attracted the ire of the European Union for their criticism of its migration policy.

The rally coincided with Hungary’s national holiday commemorating its 1848 revolution. Orban invoked Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, the United States, Austria, and Italy as allies in the fight against open borders.

Opposition struggles to unify
The opposition parties used their own counter-rallies Thursday to trumpet an alliance to take on Orban. Despite accusations of corruption, Orban’s Fidesz party continues to lead in the polls.

Although Fidesz lost an unexpected municipal by-election recently, the disparate elements of the opposition have so far failed to forge a strong national challenge to Orban.

Orban has been frequently critical of Soros, who denies trying to sabotage Hungary with open borders policy. Orban, for his part, has drawn criticism from the EU for his illiberal, anti-immigrant stances, as well as for influencing the media and filling independent courts with allies from his party.

After losing an election in 2002, Orban regained power in 2010 and consolidated an illiberal, eurosceptic state that has become, along with Poland, one of the biggest challenger-states to the European Union in the continent.

There’s no doubt that Orban is correct regarding Soros and immigration, however. Soros is an unelected interventionist and should keep himself out of Hungary’s affairs.

Massive anti-George Soros protests break out in Georgian capital of Tbilisi

The people of the eastern European nation of Georgia have had it with billionaire George Soros and his plans for an open-borders Europe.

Georgians lashed out against Soros in a series of massive protests in the nation’s capital of Tbilisi that made it known that Soros and his progressive ideas are simply not welcome.

Soros Gets Burned
A group of Georgian nationalists, known as the “March of Georgians,” took to the streets of the country’s capital on Friday to express their contempt for Soros and his Open Society Foundations (OSF). A group of 30 to 40 protesters even reportedly burned an effigy of the billionaire in front of the OSF’s local office, and demanded that his organizations get out of Georgia immediately.

The protesters said that Soros and his organizations engage in “anti-national activities” and act “in the interests of other countries.”

Video of the protest and the effigy burning were shared on Twitter:

Prior anti-Soros protests took place in September 2017 that demanded that Soros and his OSF be banned from the nation.

For their part, the OSF have spent more than $80 million since 2014 in Georgia on various programs, including renovating churches and frescoes, and advocating for open borders throughout Europe.

They Are Not Alone
The protesters in Georgia are not the only people who believe that Soros’ hands are dirty, however. In the wake of the recent shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas School in Parkland, Florida that left 17 people dead, many students and teachers have taken to the streets to protest gun rights — and former Milwaukee County, Wisconsin Sheriff David Clarke thinks that Soros is behind the rallies.

“The well ORGANIZED effort by Florida school students demanding gun control has GEORGE SOROS’ FINGERPRINTS all over it,” the former sheriff, who now works for the America First Action PAC, which supports President Donald Trump, wrote on Twitter. Clarke has nearly one million followers on the popular social media platform.

Soros has his well-funded hands all throughout the globe, and it’s difficult to know what he personally pays for, because there are so many entities with different names that he owns and supports.

What’s undeniable, however, is that Soros openly and flagrantly believes open borders are a good policy — and, in tune with his liberal ideas, he also isn’t a fan of the Second Amendment.

Everyone would be better off if Soros just left politics altogether — but with his son Alex set up to take the reigns after George’s death, that doesn’t seem like it will be happening any time soon.

Report: George Soros behind targeted campaign toppling Missouri’s governor
February 24, 2018
https://www.conservativeinstitute.org/political-corruption/george-soros-targeted-governor.htm?Central European University / CCL
Missouri Republicans allege that billionaire international financier George Soros was behind the invasion of privacy prosecution of the Show Me State’s governor, Eric Greitens.

Sam Cooper, executive director of the Missouri Republican Party, said that the wheels to indict the GOP governor were greased by more than $200,000 in donations from Soros-funded groups to St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner.

Political hit job
“Kim Gardner has received more than $200,000 from George Soros groups,” the party chief said in a statement. “Missourians should see this for what it is, a political hit job.”

Soros, 87, who has dual Hungarian-U.S. citizenship, is a frequent contributor to far-left causes.

The Missouri Republican Party posted its full statement on Twitter:

Seamy allegations
On Thursday, Gardner’ office indicted Greitens on a criminal invasion of privacy complaint. It alleged that the governor had blackmailed a former extramarital lover with a partially-nude photo that was taken without her consent.

Cincinnati.com reported:

The indictment states that on March 21, 2015, Greitens photographed a woman identified only by her initials “in a state of full or partial nudity” without her knowledge or consent. The indictment said Greitens “transmitted the image contained in the photograph in a manner that allowed access to that image via a computer.”

“Baseless and unfounded”
After he was booked at the St. Louis Justice Center, the governor alleged in a statement he posted to Facebook that the prosecution was politically-driven.

“I know this will be righted soon,” Greitens wrote. “The people of Missouri deserve better than a reckless liberal prosecutor who uses her office to score political points.”

Gardner is a Democrat.

Greitens’ attorney, Edward Dowd Jr., later charged in a statement he’d issued that the claims lodged against his client were “baseless and unfounded,” and that he would prove it in court during a motion hearing.

“In 40 years of public and private practice, I have never seen anything like this,” Dowd’s statement said.

“The charges against my client are baseless and unfounded. My client is absolutely innocent. We will be filing a motion to dismiss,” he continued.

If convicted of first-degree invasion of privacy, Greitens faces up to four years in prison.

George Soros promotes socialist vision in recent video

George Soros promotes socialist vision in recent video
When it comes to influence, billionaire George Soros prefers to exert his quietly, throwing money at globalist causes behind the scenes instead of speaking out publicly. But Soros recently came out of his cave to pitch his vision of a socialist society — and it’s as frightening as it sounds.

In a YouTube video posted in late January, the aging leftist promoted his Open Society Foundations (OSF), a collective group of organizations which seek to implement Soros’ deeply socialist vision in countries around the world, including by shutting down free speech, opening all borders, and effectively enslaving people in a socialist regime.

And that’s not even the worst of it.

Pushing the Narrative
Soros’ recent video employs slick production and focus-tested phrases to tout his and his followers’ “utopian,” globalist vision, that includes not just open borders, but also free health care for all, among other radical liberal ideals.

“Understanding open society is one thing. Trying to create open societies, or strengthening open societies is something else,” Soros says in the footage, alluding to the difficulties the OSF has had in implementing his open-border policies over the years. “They have to create themselves, and that process is a never-ending process.”

The OSF has been condemned and even nearly banned in several European countries, including Soros’ home nation of Hungary.

“Power fights back”
The OSF video also includes some of the organizations’ regional directors and board members from across the globe, who say that those who disagree with them merely “want to hide behind closed borders,” in the words of István Rév, the OSF’s archives director.

“We’ve got enemies — open society and its enemies,” Soros admits, though OSF’s executive director representing southern Africa, Siphosami Malunga, claims that “OSF provides an opportunity to question power, to hold power to account.”

“But the complexity of the fight is that power fights back,” Malunga added, seemingly perplexed that nations don’t want to open their borders to any and all aliens.

Take a look at the video for yourself:

Socialism Under Any Other Name…
Despite this recent promotional video, Soros’ OSF maintains a poor reputation throughout the world. Leaked documents from the foundation shows a disturbing trend that the organizations advocate: the control of free speech through active censorship.

In Europe, the OSF is reportedly actively working to assist Muslim migrants in storming a host of European countries, while working to prohibit so-called “hate speech,” classified as anything that questions the wisdom of bringing millions of militant Islamics into Western countries.

And Soros’ Open Society concept isn’t his own — it was designed by Karl Popper in 1938. Popper, while claiming to be anti-communist, showed himself to actually be quite the totalitarian.

Similarly, under Soros’ idea of the concept, openly communist and socialist groups are welcome, and even deeply embedded, in his utopian world.

Moving Forward
Soros and his funds remain active around the globe, participating in a variety of efforts meant to subvert the sovereignty of individual nations while pushing the goal of creating a globalist society under one government of international socialism. To do that, Soros must weaken the U.S. dollar across the global markets — a goal he is already well on his way to achieving.

While Soros himself is advanced in years, his son Alex is poised to take over both the Foundations and its globalist agenda — as well as the close relationship that the elder Soros and his socialist groups enjoy with the Democratic Party.

This means that we aren’t likely to be freed from the influence of the Soros family anytime soon.

But as for the progress toward globalism that the Soros family will make in the coming years? Well, that remains to be seen.

Soros empire grows as son Alex Soros donates huge amounts to Democrat campaigns
https://www.conservativeinstitute.org/conservative-news/soros-son-money-democrats.htm
February 19, 2018
Soros empire grows as son Alex Soros donates huge amounts to Democrat campaigns
Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung / CCL
Liberal billionaire George Soros uses his considerable fortune to support leftist causes and prop up efforts to force the globalist agenda worldwide — even subverting the constitutions and governments of entire nations if necessary.

Soros’ empire continues to grow as son Alex follows in his elderly father’s footsteps. Just last year, Alex Soros donated over half a million dollars to Democrat committees and candidates in many U.S. states.

Funding Democrats
The younger Soros donated $650,000 to Democrat candidates and committees in 2017, spreading the wealth over a number of leftist politicians. The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee got a quarter of a million from Soros, and individual candidates got donations as well.

Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), failed vice presidential candidate and Sen. Tim Kaine (D-Va.), Sen. Bob Casey (D-Penn.), Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Wash.), Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), and Sen. Kristen Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) all received $2,700 from Alex Soros.

Interestingly enough, Sen. Jon Tester from Montana—a deeply red state with highly liberal cities—got even more; Tester received $5,400. Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) got $8,100, suggesting that Soros’ real focus is not just maintaining blue states but also shifting the ones that are more conservative.

In 2016, Alex Soros paid out almost $4.5 million to Democrat committees.

As part of his philanthropic image, Soros likes to meet with lawmakers and other influential people; in June 2017 he tweeted a photo of himself with Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), a vehement liberal who’s done much to block President Trump’s immigration agenda — an agenda that Soros opposes as well.

“Always great to catch up with senator @chuckschumer who has seized the moment as the head of the #democrats in the #senate and masterfully helped preserve the assault on our nations [sic] values and #democracy! Thank you Chuck!” Soros tweeted, adding hashtags like #legend and #dumptrump.

So far this year, George Soros and his son Alex have put $250,000 into a campaign for Florida governor—even though they’re both New York residents.

Not Just Donations
Soros money has been poured into elections all over America and we can only expect that to continue. And while Alex Soros’ donations are public record — as are his father’s — those aren’t the only ways that the Soros family exerts its financial influence.

Last fall during the notorious Alabama senate campaign, in which Judge Roy Moore was derailed by accusations of sexual assault from 30 years ago, Soros and Schumer money funded a shell group that went after Moore.

It looks like even once the elder Soros leaves the political scene, his son will be there — checkbook in hand — to continue funding the leftist agenda.

Hungary launches new laws targeting George Soros

Hungary launches new laws targeting George Soros
Antonio Scorza / Shutterstock.com
Across Europe, democratically-elected governments are coming under fire from a foreign threat that opposes their national interests and challenges their sovereignty: billionaire investor and philanthropist George Soros. Funds from Soros and his Open Society Foundations (OSF) have been so intrusive, in fact, that some heads of state are taking extraordinary measures to stop Soros’ “trans-border empire” from infringing upon their independence.

One such country is Hungary, which has finally had enough of Soros-funded efforts to force them to open their borders to hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers passing through their country. Budapest lawmakers have unveiled a beefed-up version of the previously reported “Stop Soros” legislation in the country that will allow the interior minister to ban non-governmental organizations (NGOs) that support migration, and impose taxes on foreign sources of political funding.

Soros, whose family is from Hungary, is being targeted by the government specifically because of his widespread influence over issues that dissent from Hungary’s national interest.

Stop Soros
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s nationalist government has previously accused Soros of encouraging illegal immigration into Europe; a large portion of immigrants, supported by Soros, passed through Hungarian towns and villages and put strains on local infrastructure before Orban sealed off Hungary’s borders in 2015 in a massive crackdown.
An estimated 400,000 migrants passed through Hungary that year on their way to greener pastures in Germany and beyond, where the promise of lavish social welfare programs attracted the foreign influx.
Yet, the migratory corridor through Hungary didn’t stop Soros from accusing his country-of-origin of failing to uphold their responsibilities to asylum seekers in condemnatory essays written for the Financial Times and Project Syndicate.
He even went so far as to suggest that Hungary provide refugees with a nearly $17,000 annual stipend for social expenses during their first two years in the country.
Orban responds to critics
The European Union (EU) liberal majority in Europe has had Soros back and subjected Hungary to severe criticism for their refusal to take on more Middle Eastern asylum seekers, threatening sanctions if Hungary failed to open its borders to economic migrants.
Other critics accuse Orban of refusing to accept a multicultural civil society which takes pains to integrate foreign labor.
But in response to this criticism and ongoing pressure from a conglomerate of NGOs, volunteers, and local politicians funded by Soros, Orban introduced a bill last month proposing a 25 percent tax on foreign funding donated to organizations considered to be “supporting” illegal immigration.
The central government in Budapest introduced a revised version of this bill on Tuesday with additional stipulations aimed at marginalizing Soros’ influence.
Crackdown
The latest draft contains a travel ban aimed at foreigners who are even suspected of supporting the entry of asylum seekers, and Hungarian citizens suspected of cooperating with these NGOs would be barred from approaching the Hungarian border.
In addition, all NGOs would have to commit to a “check” by security services prior to operating within Hungary.
Spokesman Bence Tuzson explained the government’s position on Tuesday:
If NGOs refuse to apply for this permission, or if it’s refused, a fine will be levied, and if the violation continues, they could be banned from operating.
Tuzson acknowledged that two-thirds of Hungary’s parliament must vote on the measure before it becomes official policy. Lawmakers are unlikely to debate the bill until after elections in April, when Orban is expected to win a third term as prime minister.
Long history
In June, the government passed a law requiring any organization receiving more than $26,000 in foreign donations to register as a “foreign-supported organization,” or face immediate closure.
Soros, who donates to several NGOs in Hungary supporting open borders, said that the legislation aimed at neutralizing his operations is based upon “distortion and outright lies.”
In January, 24 NGOs operating in Hungary called the original bill “dishonest” and argued that the bill was meant to stifle government criticism.
And Hungary isn’t the only European state to have their immigration policy challenged by a Soros-funded campaign. In Britain, the billionaire mogul recently funded a massive advertising operation aimed at forcing a second referendum to reverse the 2016 Brexit vote to leave the EU.
If Soros isn’t careful, he and his OSF could end being banned from all of Europe. His globalist opinions just aren’t welcome there.

George Soros: A Seditious Movement
FEBRUARY 16, 2017
Billionaire George Soros appears to be headed for a super-villain role in the attacks on the Trump administration. If there is any doubt about his evil intentions, just follow the money. Look at the organizations that he is funding. Put it all together and you see the goal: the collapse of the American Republic. Read about the  Cloward-Piven Strategy and see what you think.

As Written By Shari Goodman for American Thinker:

The Oxford Dictionary defines mutiny as “an open rebellion against the proper authorities.”  It is synonymous with “revolt and riot.”  For the last few decades George Soros and his Open Society Institute have organized and financed a seditious movement to destroy our Constitutional Republic and monetary system.  Their mission appears to be to replace it with a One World borderless government under the jurisdiction of the United Nations.

Soros, a native of Hungary, made his multibillion-dollar fortune by manipulating currencies.  Devoid of a moral conscience, he dumped 10 billion sterling, which broke the Bank of England and led to a British financial crisis.  It forced the devaluation of their currency while gaining for himself a billion dollar profit.  Through his trading activities in Malaysia, he brought down that nation’s currency and in Thailand he is viewed as an “economic war criminal.”   He has openly stated that he sees himself as a messianic figure that fancies himself as some kind of god while making his fortune betting on the collapse of national economies and currencies.

Employing the Cloward-Piven Strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis, Soros seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands and grievances; thus, pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.  Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven were two radical socialist Columbia University professors inspired by Saul Alinsky’s revolutionary blended concepts of bringing down a U.S. government.

Similar to Alinsky, Cloward and Piven encouraged demonstrations, protests, and riots as a means to generate public attention and wreck institutional havoc.  Their goal was to force the collapse of their target.

Likewise, Soros appears to be using their concepts by employing the following steps to achieve his goal.

Step One:  Form a shadow government using humanitarian aid as cover.
Step Two:  Control the airwaves.  Feed propaganda into existing radio and TV outlets and move public opinion.

Step Three:  Destabilize the state, weaken the government and build anti-

Professor Claims George Soros ‘Missionaries’ Bragged About Toppling Governments
https://www.usapoliticstoday.org/professor-george-soros-toppling-governments/
By Gary Maher - February 10, 2018035
Author and sociologist Frank Furedi claims globalist activists working for billionaire financier George Soros bragged about toppling governments at a private lunch.
A former professor of sociology at the University of Kent in Canterbury, Furedi recounted his experience with the globalist’s “missionaries” in an article for the Telegraph newspaper, having been prompted by the revelations about his efforts to bring down the British government and trigger another EU referendum.

“Soros believes that if the people voted the wrong way, he is entitled to thwart decisions made by them,” Furedi wrote.

“Soros does not believe in the legitimacy of borders nor in the authority of national electorates. Consequently, he feels entitled to influence and if possible direct the political destiny of societies all over the world.”

Furedi said his own encounter with “the Soros operation” took place in the 87-year-old’s native Hungary in 2013, at an Open Society Youth Exchange exchange event which brought together so-called ‘civil society’ activists from across the globe.

Most of those in attendance were smart, idealistic young people who appeared to be committed to making the world a better place. My only concern with the gathering was it regarded its participants as a group of democratic missionaries, who would go back to homes to spread the good word.

It was later during lunch at a plush Budapest hotel that I encountered the full force of the arrogant ethos promoted by the Soros network of organisation. At my table I listened to Dutch, American, British, Ukrainian and Hungarian representatives of Soros NGOs boast about their achievements. Some claimed that they played a major role in the Arab Spring in Egypt. Others voiced their pride in their contribution to the democratisation of the Ukraine. Some bragged about their influence in preparing the ground for the overthrow of the Gadafif regime in Libya.

I sat quietly and felt uncomfortable with a group of people who so casually assumed that they had the right to play God throughout the world. At one point, the head of the table – a Hungarian leader of a Soros NGO – asked me what I thought about their work. Not wishing to offend, I quietly remarked that I wasn’t sure whether the external imposition of their idea of democracy on the people of Libya was legitimate nor that it would work. Without a second’s hesitation, my interlocutor rounded me with the response: “I don’t think that we have the luxury of waiting until the Libyan people come with their own Jefferson!”

Furedi recalled being alarmed by “the haughty tone with which she lectured me about performing the role” of Thomas Jefferson in countries like Libya, which was transformed into a failed state where jihadists are at large, black Africans are sold openly in slave markets, and criminal people-smugglers coin a handsome profit ferrying illegal migrants to Europe — often with the assistance of NGOs linked to Soros.

Furedi, who like Soros has a Hungarian-Jewish background, also took aim at defenders of Soros by accusing his critics of anti-Semitism.

“I am appalled by baiting critics of Soros as anti-Jewish,” he wrote, saying that the “cause of fighting anti-Semitism is ill-served by such opportunistic use of the term.”

The academic “lost most of his Hungarian-Jewish family in the Holocaust” — while Soros himself survived the calamity by posing as a Hungarian official’s Christian godson, accompanying him on his rounds as he confiscated property from less well-connected Jews.

George Soros denies plot against Israel’s immigration policy

George Soros denies plot against Israel’s immigration policy

With nearly unlimited funds, billionaire George Soros has the cash and influence to push globalist policies in nearly any country on Earth. One country, however, is fighting back against Soros and his machinations.

On Sunday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Soros of funding protests against the Israeli government for deporting African asylum seekers. Soros has now denied those accusations.

Placing blame
Israel recently announced plans to deport thousands of refugees from Africa who have arrived in the Middle Eastern nation seeking asylum. Israel’s Immigration and Population Authority has issued specific deportation orders to refugees from countries Eritrea and Sudan — countries that are primarily Muslim and highly violent.

Male refugees traveling without children are being told they’re expected to leave the country within the next 60 days, though the government will give them a grant of $3,500 as they board a plane back to their home country.

This new policy has sparked protests throughout Israel, which Netanyahu blames on the 87-year-old Soros.

Funding the protests
After Likud party minister Ofir Akunis suggested in a group meeting with Netanyahu on Sunday that the protests were being funded by European countries and far-left groups, Netanyahu responded, “George Soros is also funding the protests.”

“[Former U.S. President Barack Obama] deported two million infiltrators and they [the American left and Soros] didn’t say anything,” Netanyahu added.

Soros, however, says he has nothing to do with the protests — but he agrees with them and thinks Israel should stop deporting refugees.

A spokesperson for Soros released a statement on Sunday:

Contrary to the false claim by the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, George Soros is not funding any protests against Israel’s plan to deport thousands of African asylum seekers…[Soros] believes that, in accordance with the 1951 Refugee Convention and international law, it is wrong to forcibly send asylum seekers back to countries where they might be persecuted or killed.

Just another day
This is by no means the first time that Soros and his liberal agenda have been rejected by a government.

In his home country of Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orban is currently in the midst of an anti-Soros campaign that punishes non-government organizations, like Soros’ Open Society Foundations, that support globalism and mass immigration.

Orban has accused the liberal billionaire of using “his wealth, power, influence, and a network of non-governmental organizations” to ensure that millions of migrants — almost exclusively from violent Islamic nations — were imported to the European Union.

Soros has called Orban’s allegations “distortions and lies.”

It is high time for Soros to accept that his globalist ideas aren’t the way of the future. Luckily, nations like Israel and Hungary are happy to put him in his place.

Rep. Adam Schiff’s Shocking Ties To George Soros Revealed
https://www.usapoliticstoday.org/adam-schiffs-ties-george-soros/
By Gary Maher - February 5, 2018040
The report that Democrat Adam Schiff’s sister was married to George Soros’ son was a shocker but then it all made sense. The far left and the Deep State are all intertwined in an incestuous relationship. The marriage of Schiff’s sister to Soros’ son is a perfect example:

As it turns out, George Soros was instrumental in helping fund Schiff’s political career. Schiff was bankrolled by Soros organization MoveOn.org:

Breitbart News reports:

Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, was previously financially aided by the George Soros-financed MoveOn.org to win his Congressional seat.

Schiff was also awarded the Toll Fellowship, which is sponsored by the Council of State Governments, a nonprofit that monitors federal government activities and is heavily financed by Soros’s Open Society Foundations.

The Open Society and Soros-funded groups have additionally supported a number of Schiff’s legislative efforts.

Schiff has been helping to lead the Democrats’ unsubstantiated charges of alleged collusion between President Donald Trump and Moscow.

Last month, Schiff delivered the opening statements at a Congressional hearing where he laid out the case for alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election. This reporter previously documented serious problems with Schiff’s charges, which include wild conspiracy theories and heavy reliance on a questionable source.

Wonder if he’s beholden to Soros now? We believe he is! Remember that Schiff has been lying and leaking since day one of Trump presidency. He believes the end justifies the means even if it’s corrupt.

THE APPLE DOESN’T FALL FAR FROM THE TREE: Soros’ son was married to Adam Schiff’s sister!

Daily Mail reports from 2015 during messy Soros divorce:

One thing billionaire George Soros and his 51-year-old son Robert appear to share is an interest in much-younger women.

On a flight back from the Venice Biennale to New York on Sunday, Robert was seen making out with his new 29-year-old girlfriend Jamie Singer throughout most of the flight, in front of his soon-to-be ex-wife who was seated just a few rows back, according to the New York Post.

Robert’s father George Soros, the 84-year-old Hungarian-American business magnate, married a woman exactly half his age in a lavish ceremony two years ago.

Robert, who serves as the president of the family’s $28billion Soros Fund Management firm, is currently in the midst of a bitter divorce from his wife Melissa Schiff, a photographer and filmmaker.

Disregarding their 22 years of marriage and the two college-aged children they raised, Robert appears to have vindictively tried to make his ex suffer through the flight over the weekend.

‘Robert and Jamie were openly affectionate for the entire flight, while they knew Melissa was seated five or six rows behind,’ a source told the Post. ‘Melissa had to endure 8 ¹/₂ hours of this behavior all the way back to New York. She didn’t make a scene, but it was uncomfortable for her and for others in the business-class cabin who were appalled by his brazen behavior.’

Asylum seekers deported from Israel to Rwanda warn those remaining: ‘Don’t come here’
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told Likud ministers on Sunday that Jewish billionaire George Soros is funding a campaign of protest against Israel's plan to deport thousands of African asylum seekers.

In the meeting, Netanyahu said "George Soros is also funding the protests. Obama deported two million infiltrators and they didn't say anything."

Netanyahu was responding to a comment by Likud minister Ofir Akunis, who said that recent protests were that of extreme leftists, and funded by European countries.

>> Why Netanyahu hates George Soros so much / Analysis

Last year, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban ran a campaign against Soros, accusing him of using "his wealth, power, influence and a network of non-governmental organizations" to settle millions of migrants in Hungary and the European Union.

The Immigration and Population Authority began issuing deportation notices to asylum seekers from Eritrea and Sudan on Sunday. Men without children who submit their residence visas for renewal will receive their last visa along with a letter stating that they are expected to leave the country in the following sixty days. Otherwise, they can expect to be incarcerated indefinitely.

Authority personnel will suggest that they leave either for Rwanda or their native countries. A grant of $3,500 will be given to them at the airport before boarding the plane.

Over the last few weeks, Israeli professionals, academics and religious figures began staging protests urging the Israeli government to nix its plan to expel tens of thousands of asylum seekers. Some have also announced that they would actively work to foil forced deportations.

According to Immigration and Population Authority figures, there are some 39,000 Eritreans and Sudanese in Israel, including 5,000 children. For now, deportation notices will not be issued to women, children, fathers of children, anyone recognized as a victmim of slavery or human trafficking, and those who had requested asylum by the end of 2017 without response.

In Netanyahus world, George Soros politics justify throwing him to Hungarys anti-Semitic dogs
This article was originally published July 14, 2017 amid a controversy surrounding Netanyahu's visit to Hungary and has been updated after Netanyahu's son, Yair, posted an anti-Semitic meme to Facebook criticizing George Soros.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán surely believed the run-up to their July 18 meeting in Budapest would be smooth sailing when they first announced it.

After all, they have a lot in common and much to bond over. Both leaders position themselves in the center right, but over the years have had to lurch rightward to consolidate their hold on power, in the face of challenges from more extreme political parties.

>> Soros and Reptilians Controlling the World: Yair Netanyahu Posts Meme Rife With anti-Semitic Themes <<

Their get-together, planned last December, was expected to be a refreshing change from lectures by Western counterparts over their policies – in Israels case, over the Palestinians and settlements; in Hungarys, its harsh immigration policy and its troubling xenophobic tone, and harsh crackdown on political dissent.

Now, like an unwelcome guest, George Soros has ruined their party planning.

Instead of a harmonious lead-up to the first visit of a sitting Israeli prime minister to Hungary since the end of communism in 1989, Netanyahus upcoming trip has been marred by controversy. The fuss centers on Orbáns new and intense political campaign vilifying the Jewish billionaire – one that Hungarian Jews say has stirred up anti-Semitism in Hungary to such an extent that they implored Israeli leaders to speak out against it.

Netanyahu may see himself as the leader of the Jewish people, but there are some Jews he is decidedly unenthusiastic about representing. And Soros probably tops that list.

Soros was the 19th richest person in the world last year according to Forbes, reportedly worth more than $25 billion. He was born Gyrgy Schwartz, to an upper-middle class Jewish family in Budapest in 1930. In 1944, when the Nazis occupied Hungary, the Soroses – who changed their name to avoid detection as Jews – escaped the mass deportation and murder of over half a million of their brethren by obtaining false papers that allowed them to pose as Christians. After the war ended, Soros left Hungary for England and the United States, where he became one of the worlds most successful strategic investors.

He is also a deep-pocketed philanthropist, aiming his donations – and substantial political campaign contributions – in a progressive political direction. His Open Society Foundations has the mandate of advancing justice, education, public health, business development and independent media, and he has given away billions to pro-democracy organizations, dissident groups in repressive regimes, supported education through scholarships and support for university, anti-poverty causes and decriminalization of marijuana in the United States.

skip - Donald Trump Argument for America ad

Soros has been lionized by the left and vilified by the right worldwide; one side of the political map viewing his work as progress toward a more free and just world, the other – particularly on its extreme fringes – viewing him as running a devious, even satanic, effort to create a new world order.

He is a favorite bogeyman of the political right, not only in Europe but also the United States. He featured in the closing ad of Donald Trumps presidential campaign, his face appearing amid accusations that a global power structure that is responsible for the economic decisions that have robbed our working class, stripped our country of its wealth and put that money into the pockets of a handful of large corporations and political entities. According to the ad, which was criticized for striking an anti-Semitic tone, Trump was the only thing standing between this greedy cabal and innocent American citizens.

But Trumps political messaging was a single shot compared to the barrage Orbán has launched against Soros in recent weeks. One cant walk down a street in the Hungarian capital without encountering his face. Billboard after billboard features a picture of Soros laughing, captioned, Lets not let Soros have the last laugh, underneath a headline reading 99 percent reject illegal immigration.

Concerned by reports from Hungarian Jews that the posters were sparking an uptick in anti-Semitism, Israels ambassador to Hungary, Yossi Amrani, issued an extraordinarily sharp statement last weekend. In it, he called on Orbán and his Fidesz party to remove posters hung throughout the country that criticized Soros, saying it was fueling anti-Semitism.

The campaign not only evokes sad memories but also sows hatred and fear, the statement said. Its our moral responsibility to raise a voice and call on the relevant authorities to exert their power and put an end to this cycle.

The statement was too much for Netanyahu. On his orders, the statement was clarified, to emphasize that while the condemnation of anti-Semitism remained, in no way was the statement meant to delegitimize criticism of George Soros, who continuously undermines Israels democratically elected governments by funding organizations that defame the Jewish state and seek to deny it the right to defend itself.

Ultimately, Orbáns desire for a successful Netanyahu visit resulted in the announcement Wednesday that he would end the poster campaign. By the time the Israeli prime minister arrives, he promised, Soros face would be off the streets of Hungary.

Rhetoric becomes action

Orbán has found Soros a useful foil in a political effort to keep his supporters from drifting further right to the overtly anti-Semitic Jobbik party, portraying the Jewish billionaire as an evil and dangerous security threat who, if unchecked, would flood Hungary and the rest of Europe with non-Europeans and non-Christians.

In recent months, Orbán has turned his rhetoric into action, aggressively attacking the nonprofit and civil society institutions that Soros supports. In April, his government passed a law aimed at undermining Central European University, which was founded by Soros in Budapest, in 1991, and where some 1,400 students from around the world study. But Orbán views it as a hotbed of dissent, and his law could force the institution to close or move. The law drew condemnation from the United States and the European Union.

Then, last month, Orbáns government passed another law restricting nongovernmental organizations that receive foreign funding. The law requires groups receiving more than $26,000 in overseas funding to register as foreign-supported and disclose their foreign donors.

This legislation resembles a 2012 law passed in Russia that requires NGOs receiving foreign funding to register as foreign agents, and is also aimed at Soros. (Two Soros groups – the Open Society Foundations and the Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation – were already declared undesirable and banned from Russia by President Vladimir Putins government in 2015 for being a state security threat.)

One of the reasons it goes against Netanyahus grain to criticize Orbán for attacking Soros is that he can certainly understand the Hungarians desire to strike out at Soros-backed NGOs that undermine him politically.

In 2013, a right-wing watchdog group, NGO Monitor, issued a monograph called Bad Investment, which aimed at detailing how Soros-funded groups increase tensions in a troubled region. It listed what it called problematic Israeli groups, including Gisha, Breaking the Silence and legal rights group Adala.

In August 2016, a leak of hacked documents from the Open Society Foundations included emails discussing a strategy of challenging Israels racist and antidemocratic policies in international forums.

Soros has been a supporter of J Street since the pro-Israel, pro-peace organization was founded as an effort to counteract AIPACs influence, lobbying the White House and Capitol Hill to push for an Israeli-Palestinian peace settlement.

He also supports Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International – groups that regularly chastise and criticize Israeli policies.

Most of the groups supported by Soros have been the targets of Netanyahus NGO law, passed a year ago, which mandates special reporting requirements for organizations that get most of their funding from foreign governments.

Israel and Hungarys NGO laws may both target groups that Soros supports, but they differ in a key regard. The Israeli law specifically cracks down on donations from foreign governments – not individual foreigners or their foundations.

But in the midst of the controversy over Hungary, one member of Netanyahus Likud party, Miki Zohar, said he plans to introduce an Israeli Soros law, in which any person donating to organizations acting against Israel will not be allowed to donate to any organization or nonprofit association in Israel.

Such a law would close a loophole for the Israeli right. It could try to stop donors like Soros without harming the millions that flow into right-wing NGOs and charities in Israel from individual foreign supporters – billionaire casino mogul and mega-donor Sheldon Adelson, for example.

In addition to Netanyahus desire to placate Orbán on the eve of their meeting, and his loathing for the Israeli groups that Open Society supports, Adelson is a key reason why the Israeli premier is positioning himself as part of the Soros-hating club.

Netanyahus patron styles himself as a counterweight to Soros – particularly when it comes to the American political arena, where his tens of millions of dollars flow to Republicans who battle it out with Soros-supported candidates, most bitterly and dramatically in 2016.

At a time when Adelson is rumored to be drifting away from his previously rock-solid support for Netanyahu and casting his eye rightward to Naftali Bennett, Israels prime minister has a strong interest in showing that he is Adelsons ally – and, therefore, Soros enemy.

Fox News host Steve Hilton: George Soros made a ‘fool’ of himself in Davos

Fox News host Steve Hilton: George Soros made a ‘fool’ of himself in Davos
Adrin Shamsudin / Shutterstock.com
Liberal billionaire and self-titled philanthropist George Soros is well-known for his tendency to pour millions of dollars into progressive causes all over the world — but in his quest to help the globalist agenda, he isn’t usually willing to speak in public. Soros went against tradition at the recent World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, however, and it was big news — especially because he spent his time at the podium saying that President Donald Trump had turned America into “a mafia state” that puts the “survival of our entire civilization…at stake.”

As expected, Soros’ comments haven’t fared well. Fox News analyst Steve Hilton demolished Soros’ antics in a recent op-ed, saying Soros made a fool of himself at the forum, where Trump was apparently a smash hit.

“Civilization is at stake”
According to Hilton, the lowlight of Soros’ speech in Davos was his criticism of President Trump, who also spoke at the forum.

“Not only the survival of open society but the survival of our entire civilization is at stake,” Soros said of the president. “The rise of leadership such as Kim Jong Un in North Korea and Donald Trump in the United States have much to do with this.”

Soros’ reference to the term “open society” comes from his globalist ideas, for which he named his progressive collection of organizations, the Open Society Foundations. Soros has reportedly donated billions to these foundations, which have had a large effect on global policies — so much so that their activities have even been banned in some European countries.

But Soros pushes his anti-Trump agenda on, despite the fact that, as Hilton points out, Trump has had an immensely positive effects on the American economy in his first year in office, including groundbreaking tax reform and the deregulation of industry, which has led to more jobs and higher incomes for many Americans.

“Ludicrous”
As such, according to Hilton, the raging hatred of all things Trump by Soros and his ilk is “ludicrous.”

“What on Earth is Soros talking about?” Hilton asked in his editorial before noting that Soros’ comments come off as offensive to those who have actually lived under oppressive regimes.

Hilton wrote:

It is particularly upsetting to me personally to see Soros, a fellow Hungarian, make these over-the-top-claims, given our shared history. My father was a contemporary of Soros in Hungary, where both experienced an actual assault on the open society in the form of Soviet-backed communism.

Both my parents (and my stepfather), like Soros, fled Hungary to escape it. Soros simply makes a fool of himself when he describes the democratically elected U.S. president in the terms he used. He knows what real oppression looks like. He should know better.

“But, like the rest of the Trump-hating elite,” Hilton writes, “[Soros] can’t control his snooty impulses and can’t accept the real, tangible improvements that the Trump presidency is already making in the real lives of working Americans, who have suffered decades of economic insecurity as a direct result of the elitist policies that Soros personally supports.”

“Menace to Society”
Soros also attacked the web duopoly of Google and Facebook — companies Hilton added that Soros has invested in — in Davos, calling them a “menace to society.” Soros added:

They deliberately engineer addiction to the services they provide. This can be very harmful, particularly for adolescents. There is a similarity between internet platforms and gambling companies. Casinos have developed techniques to hook gamblers to the point where they gamble away all their money, even money they don’t have. Something very harmful and maybe irreversible is happening to human attention in the digital age. Not just distraction or addiction: social media companies are inducing people to give up their autonomy.

Hilton, in turn, pointed out that Soros has made his fortune on “gambling in the casino of the financial markets.”

“It worked out great for him, turning him into a fabulously wealthy plutocrat afforded the platform to pontificate pompously to his fellow elitists at Davos, and to indulge his personal political predilections by throwing his money at liberal causes,” Hilton wrote of Soros, adding:

But let’s remember: it’s money he made off the backs of the poor and the working class. Soros’ gambling happens to have wrecked the lives of millions of working people, not least in the United Kingdom, where his manipulation of the currency markets in the early 1990s caused a deep recession and untold misery for millions.

Whether Soros is taking money from the poor or bashing the president who has fought to give Americans’ hard-earned money back to them, he’s doing little but making a fool of himself. Luckily, we have people like Hilton to call him out on it.

Report: George Soros could be banned from his own country

Report: George Soros could be banned from his own country
Central European University / CCL
It seems one country is looking to end its ongoing feud with liberal billionaire George Soros.

Soros’ home country of Hungary is in the midst of enacting legislation that may prevent Soros from entering the country.

A recently created policy known as “Stop Soros” is reportedly cracking down on supporters of illegal immigration, including Soros and his Open Society Foundations (OSF).

Banishment?
Since the publication of the recently proposed “Stop Soros” laws, some have begun to recognize that the measures could be used to prevent Soros from entering his home country. Among the proposed laws is one that prevents foreign citizens who support illegal immigration from entering.

Soros, who is 87, would seem to fit these criteria, as he is a dual citizen of both the United States and Hungary and an outspoken supporter of migrants. Hungary’s nationalists, led by Prime Minister Victor Orban, believe that increased immigration is undermining the sovereignty of the European nation and that Soros is a major cause of this problem.

As such, the government has proposed three new laws, which “aim to shut remaining loopholes that allow “illegal immigration” to persist, according to government spokesperson Zoltan Kovacs. The package was published for public discussion on Thursday and includes:

Entry bans on foreigners and restraining orders stopping Hungarians approaching the border areas if they are deemed to be “supporting” or “organizing” illegal immigration.

Mandatory registration of non-government organizations that support immigration.

A 25-percent tax on foreign funding received by organizations that support illegal immigration, in order to help pay for border defense.

These measures seem to be directly aimed at OSF, which Kovacs said is a human rights organization that uses its platform for political purposes, particularly promoting migration.

Condemnation
While Hungary’s leaders seem apt to enact these provisions, many have condemned the proposed legislation, calling them a violation of human rights. The Human Rights Watch issued a statement in its World Report that said:

Central Europe has become especially fertile ground for populists, as certain leaders use fear of migration elsewhere in Europe to undermine checks and balances on their power at home.

Additionally, Soros himself has stated that Orban’s efforts against him and OSF are “distortions and lies.”

Still, Orban’s regime remains popular in Hungary, and he is expected to win his third straight election this April.

Orban and his colleagues’ proposal could be up for a vote as early as February, so Soros may want to visit Hungary now — while he still can.

Report: George Soros caught in illegal scheme to make Ireland abortion-friendly

There are few figures more hated by conservatives and liberty-minded people than George Soros. A liberal billionaire who became a household name after it was revealed that he helped the Nazis during his childhood, Soros has funded some of the most left-wing dirty politics possible — and now, he’s at it again.

It was revealed on Wednesday that Soros is funding yet another left-wing effort – illegally. According to a report from Ireland’s Standards in Public Office Commission (SIPO), Soros’ Open Society Foundation has been bankrolling a campaign to change Ireland’s constitution, which holds a pro-life amendment.

The Money Trail
According to the report, an Irish government agency ordered Amnesty International to return a $162,000 donation from the Open Society Foundation (OSF), because it violates the 1997 Electoral Act law in Ireland, which bans foreign groups from giving donations of more than $100 for political purposes.

Soros’ donation was intended to help groups, foremost  looking to repeal the Eighth Amendment to the Irish Constitution, which offers protection to the unborn.

Amnesty says they will not return the donation, however, claiming that Ireland’s law is unfair and reiterating their desire to support local efforts to “bring Ireland’s abortion law in line” with an abortion-on-demand position.

The Fighting Irish
Cora Sherlock, the spokesperson for the Irish Pro Life Campaign, points out that the Open Society stated at the time of the donation that it hoped to “assist the coordination of groups in Ireland with a view to repealing the Eighth Amendment and taking away legal protection for the baby in the womb.”

According to Sherlock, that constitutes meddling in Ireland’s democracy and interference in another country’s internal affairs.

But these accusations are nothing new to Soros, who has been accused of similar acts before. In fact, an earlier report even exposed OSF’s involvement in other countries’ elections.

The report leaked internal foundation documents from 2013 showing a pattern of payments related to European Parliamentary elections.

At 87, Soros may not be an international player for much longer, but his transfer of personal wealth to his foundation — $18 billion just in October — will ensure that his agenda lives on.

Soros will be succeeded by his son Alex, who has quietly started funding Democrat causes himself as well.

Whether the Soros family efforts will succeed in Ireland is still unknown, but if the Irish conservatives get their way, he’ll stay out of Irish affairs.
