Illegal immigrant indicted for police officer’s 2016 murder

While liberals want us to believe that every undocumented immigrant comes to this country is only looking for a better life, the facts tell a different story.

Francisco Portillo-Fuentes, an undocumented immigrant, has been indicted for — among other things — aggravated manslaughter in the death of Nassau County Deputy Eric Oliver.

They Are Criminals
Liberals are trying to romance this notion of crossing the border for a better life.

But their rhetoric only serves to incite more people to try to come into the country illegally.

In order to justify their rhetoric, they have to portray all undocumented immigrants as people chasing the American dream.

The facts tell a much different story, though.

Far too many of these undocumented immigrants are coming to America for criminal purposes.

Various gangs, including MS-13, are exploiting our lax borders for their criminal activity, including drug trade and human trafficking.

Portillo-Fuentes was no different — and his presence in this country cost an American citizen his life.

Twice Deported
This was not Portillo-Fuentes’ first run-in with law enforcement.

Twice before, he had been deported, only to return illegally again.

In this particular incident, Portillo-Fuentes fled after authorities approached him.

His escape attempt resulted in the death of Oliver.

The liberal media and Democrats will simply ignore this incident and others like it, though.

They call these outliers, yet we see them reported on alternative conservative websites virtually every day.

Elizabeth Warren: ‘So Sorry’ for Mollie Tibbetts’ Family, but Trump Is Still Separating Migrant Children

Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) changed the subject to family separation when asked about 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts, who was allegedly murdered by an illegal immigrant.

Warren said, “I’m so sorry for the family here, and I know this is hard not only for the family but for the people in her community, the people throughout Iowa, but one of the things we have to remember is we need an immigration system that is effective, that focuses on where real problems are.”

She continued, “Last month I went down to the border, and I saw where children had been taken away from their mothers. I met with those mothers who had been lied to, who didn’t know where their children were and there was no plan for how they would be reunified with their children. I think we need immigration laws that focus on people who pose a real threat. And I don’t think mamas and babies are the places we should be spending our resources. Separating a mama from a baby does not make this country safer.”

Cops Arrest Illegal Trying To Enter US with Fake Daughter He Kept Around To Rape

Immigration and Customs Enforcement needs to be disbanded — at least that’s the claim of countless Democrats right now.
At the same time, the left is also insisting that temporarily detaining and vetting people who are illegally pouring into the country is immoral. The open borders crowd seems strangely silent when the real situation along the border is exposed, however.

A chilling example from Texas suggests that opening the flood gates, no questions asked, may not be such a smart idea after all.

On Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security reported that they had arrested an illegal alien on several counts of rape, after a girl he claimed was his daughter and brought with him to enter the United States was revealed to not be related in any way.

Instead, it appears that the girl was essentially being used as a sex slave. It’s a disturbing case that confirms what ICE — which reports to DHS — has been saying for months.

“A DHS official noted that the illegal alien, Ramon Pedro, arrived with a young girl he claimed was his daughter at the Ysleta Port of Entry in Texas in mid-April,” explained The Daily Caller.

Immigration authorities looked into Pedro and his “daughter” after they underwent tuberculosis testing last month. As officials asked routine questions, they realized that the male and the girl were not related, and she was being sexually abused.

“In fact, the victim’s mother told her daughter to accompany Pedro to the United States and he would secure her employment,” stated one immigration official, according to The Caller.

“(O)n July 27, 2018, the Huron Police Department arrested him for multiple felony offenses for rape, oral copulation, forcible sexual penetration and endangering/causing injury to a child,” authorities continued. “He is currently detained in Fresno County Jail on a $310,000 bond.”

Do you think disbanding ICE would lead to a spike in immigration-related crimes?

Remember, these officials who were able to recognize and stop the repeated and brutal rape of a young girl are the same ones the left wants disbanded.

The tactic of human smugglers and sex traffickers claiming to be the parents of unrelated children has been known for some time, but largely ignored by the mainstream media.

“We … separate a parent and child if the adult is suspected of human trafficking,” explained Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Michele Nielsen in June, around the peak of the controversy over unaccompanied minors.

“There have been cases where minors have been used and trafficked by unrelated adults in an effort to avoid detention,” she continued.

“I’ll stop here to say that in the last five months, we’ve had a 314 percent increase in adults and children arriving at the border fraudulently claiming to be a family unit,” Nielsen continued. “This is, obviously, of concern.”

That means that in all likelihood, many other innocent girls are being dragged across the border right now. Human traffickers and rapists have discovered that they can use false parental claims to their advantage … and it looks like the anti-ICE left is currently playing right into their sick hands.

It is possible to be both sympathetic to actual refugees, and concerned about America’s welcome mat being exploited by criminals for disturbing purposes.

Common sense says to check who is at your door, and whether they are who they claim to be, before giving them total access to your house and your family.

Perhaps if the left put that common sense to use in the immigration debate, far fewer young girls would end up exploited and hurt.

Twins Pitcher Teaches Illegals a Lesson, Leaves Midgame To Become US Citizen

One thing that frustrates conservatives is the purposeful conflation of legal immigration and illegal immigration when liberals throw around terms like “anti-immigrant.”

Most people on the right support border security and oppose unlawful entry into the country.

However, we celebrate those who do things the right way to become citizens of the United States. They’re honorable individuals who love this country and want to be a part of it, and we welcome them with open arms.

One of them is Minnesota Twins pitcher Fernando Rodney.

The Dominican Republic native came to the United States as a young man after he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 1997.

The pitcher spent a few years in the minors before beginning a 16-year major league career in which he has played for nine different teams. He’s had the opportunity to travel across this country and see just how great it is, and along the way he decided he wanted to become a U.S. citizen.
Rodney patiently worked his way through the sometimes difficult immigration process, and finally, this week, at age 41, he became an American.

The Twins raised eyebrows Sunday when they brought in the closer with one out in the fifth inning in a game against Tampa Bay; Rodney hadn’t pitched that early in a game in over a dozen years. After getting the final two outs, he made his exit.

On Monday, Rodney revealed the reason for the team’s unusual move in an Instagram post: He had to leave that afternoon to fly to Miami in order to finalize his citizenship.

“After 19 years in this wonderful country today I am blessed to say that I am an official US Citizen,” the veteran pitcher said.

He went on to thank “all those who have been with me throughout the process,” including the Twins “for allowing me to catch my flight” and the Tigers, who he said “made this dream possible 19 years ago.” Rodney added the hashtags “USA” and “USCIS” — for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

It was the culmination of a long process. Rodney passed his citizenship test the morning of May 2, 2017, during a road trip to Washington while he was with the Arizona Diamondbacks, and later that day he earned a save against the Nationals.

“It was exciting, first to take that step and then to come and save the game,” Rodney told the Arizona Republic. “It was a wonderful day.”

He said at the time he had two brothers and a sister back in his native Dominican Republic whom he wanted to bring to the United States.

Congratulations to Fernando Rodney on becoming a U.S. citizen, and thanks for providing an excellent example of the legal immigration we welcome.

Viral post purports to show the difference between Obama and Trump’s immigration policies

As far as liberals and Democrats in office are concerned, President Donald Trump is an evil villain that is putting children in cages.
Unfortunately, at least for them, the pictures that blew up on social media about children immigrants a couple of weeks ago actually depicted scenes from the Barack Obama administration.
Then and Now
Jon Favreau blew up Twitter when he sent out a tweet on May 27 which included an image of children locked in what appears to be cages like would be seen in a dog kennel. Favreau even captioned the image: “This is happening right now, and the only debate that matters is how we force our government to get these kids back to their families as fast as humanly possible.”

The problem with the picture is that it was taken by an Associated Press photographer in June 2014, when Obama was in office.

The original article, published in 2014 on AZCentral.com, stated the facility was clean and air conditioned, but it also called it a “juvenile prison camp.”

When the article was published, it pretty much fell on deaf ears.

Fast forward to this year, when a video by IllinoisNinth was published on YouTube, that showed a facility for undocumented children which included colorful rooms complete with beds and age-appropriate bedspreads.

Nothing can please them
Liberals and Democrats still cried foul, though.

From their perspective, there were too many beds in rooms and the children were being mistreated for being indoors for 22 hours a day.

Mind you, the temperature in most of these border towns this time of year is up over 100 degrees, so most people are indoors in air conditioning anyway.

The fact is: this is about Trump, not the undocumented immigrants.

When the conditions of some of these facilities were revealed in 2014, nobody on the left cared.

We were told they were doing the best they could under the conditions and due to the amount of immigrants crossing the border illegally.

Now, the same Democrats that kept their lips sealed are going nuts simply because they want to portray Trump as a racist.

Somewhere, someone is pouring over the numbers, and it is only a matter of time before separation numbers during the Clinton, Bush, and Obama’s presidencies are revealed.

It will be very interesting to see how the left reacts when they realize the people criticizing this administration were responsible for separating far more children from their parents than the current one.
