Hi SugarBaker
Thank you for stopping in to introduce yourself.

Sorry to read things have been trying for you Edith
I am a grandmother myself and like you things have been hard going our end in the family also but our God sustains us, please post up for any prayer request needs.
I believe you are the lady from MHM Forum that make tags and backgrounds? forgive me if I have got this wrong and you are another lady with same name, if you are then we look forward to your sharing when you have time.
Sending up prayer for you and the family now.
God bless you
Elaine.

Hi Paris,
Thank you for joining our group. You name seems familiar to my, I am not blessed with a great memory but maybe we had both been members of a same group?
Sorry to hear you have just come through surgery but thankful that is OK now and hopefully the lumps will prove to be benign when you go for more tests next week.
Things are a little quiet here as is in many of the groups at present, due to all moving to new homes when MSN closed groups.
I did bring over many subjects from our old site's and you will notice some of the Forums are named from our umbrella of groups brought here under one Site which not only makes things a lot easier for me but for others who want to look into a particular area.
It is my hope that you will continue with us and will find we have been blessed with a loving friendly home here.
Blessings

Welcome Say Hi here Empty Re: Welcome Say Hi here

Post  der Thu 26 Feb 2009, 1:17 am

Thank you Simon and Elaine for the warm welcome. Yes I do work in PSP when I can. I love creating things! Thanks for the thought concerning the fibro. I have learned to 'manage' it so to speak .. with diet, exercise and a 'Godatude' - the later being the most important. I used to be so disappointed in having it at all but remind myself it could always be much worse. Besides ,,, this experience has brought me closer to my God and has helped me better understand what my husband deals with in some ways, so it is ok!
Losing MSN was an experience wasnt it? Everyone switching to new places and trying to adjust. I understand how hard that is, as I manage a small group of ladies and the new 'home' takes some adjusting.
So here I ramble on! lol!!
Thanks again!

Hi Der
I was about to post up a welcome to you when Simon came along in our chat box, he is one of our younger members bless him and much better able to multi task than me and I see he has come along while we were chatting to welcome you Very Happy
I notice you are also aquainted with psp doing your own tags Razz besides being a seemstress and have a grandson which must keep you busy.
Sorry to learn you have fibromyalgia I have arthritis so I know what you mean slows us down some.
Thank you for coming along to introduce yourself.
It is a little quiet at the moment we were much busier in our old MSN site but in time we will get used to our new home no doubt and get back on track busy getting to know our new members and catching up with those who came over from our old site.
Looking forward to seeing you around.
Blessings

Welcome Say Hi here Empty a newbie here

Post  der Wed 25 Feb 2009, 3:47 am

Hi .. I am new. I joined sometime back but havent had a chance to get in here and do anything. I would really like to be part of this group though. It just has been incredibly busy at my home lately.
I am der. I live in the southernmost part of Michigan/USA with my dear, dear hubby. We have a daughter and one grandson. I used to work outside my home as a day chef but fibromyalgia has slowed me down some. I now do professional seamstress work out of my home.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know you.
Thanks for accepting my membership

So appreciate the time you have taken to come along Lyn
I know you have had a lot to cope with since your return from USA.
I am learning new things all the time, and I am confident we will be fine in our new site ang get used to it just as we had to in msn.
There are still a few changes to be made, but with a few boards in place makes it feel more like home.
God bless you Lyn
you and the family in my prayers.

Good to have you with us Ryan.
Still under construction and continue using our msn group until the Christmas season is over when others will have more time to get used to the new home. Some are coming over to post and use the chat room just to get the feel of the place.
God bless you

Welcome Say Hi here Empty Hi

Post  RyanW84 Sun 23 Nov 2008, 8:31 pm

Just though i'd pop in and say HI,

I was previously a member of OLIAP a few years ago.... been a while since i was on there... but bumped into Elaine online and she pointed me here!

I've been away from a church and am seeking some fellowship as i work shifts as a Police officer and don't get much of a chance to get to church etc and the nature of my work can be very distressing...

We are all learning, it takes a little getting used to but the more we use
we will get accustomed to it. Glad you like the presentation. Margaret has
been a great help with the background and buttons.
ps...Oops forgot to say love Elaine, thankfully we are able to edit.

Hi Elaine. Yes, sorry, I idled in chat, lol. Here now thought and am going to be about for a while now. Going to make a start on the daily notes, type out some then share how the Lord has spoken to me through them, perhaps others would like to join in too and share how the Lord has spoken to them through them too.

Good morning Princess queen I saw you in the chatbox in the early hours, but you appeared to be away.
Yes please that will be wonderful. sunny
Just a suggestion, how about put Princess' Daily Readings or similar
in the Subject Line and each time to add your further posts hit reply, this way they will be easy for others to find, but of course up to you.
Thank you and God bless you looking forward to reading.
