Showing the works of the Father

John 10:32 - Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you from my
Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

Many a times Muslims state God is all powerful so why did He (part of Him -
Son) need to be born of a woman's womb. God could say 'let it be' and it
would happen. But one thing they agree and do not deny is that Jesus was
born of a virgin, and when you ask them why from a virgin? They will tell
you 'God wanted to show His power'. Did God lack creativity to show His
power by making a virgin give birth to a son as sign for which mankind
waited for almost a thousand years? When asked why only Jesus was selected
to demonstrate this power, why not their beloved prophet? To this they will
have no answer.

When God humbled Himself and had to come as man He could have come without
a woman, as He created Adam from dust so also He could have formed Himself
as man from dust and that too directly into a young man as Adam was, with
no trouble of childhood or of growing up. But then the purpose would not be
fulfilled. So first we need to understand His purposes for coming as man,
being born of a virgin and growing up as any ordinary human and first being
an example then becoming our sacrifice.

When man had no way and the gates of Heaven were shut to man, God Himself
had to intervene and make a way since He loved man very much, but being
Righteous He could not intervene as God. So God the Son humbled Himself and
came as man Jesus. When we say God the Son we should not identify the term
son with human son for human father and son are considered 2 individual
beings connected through a woman. Also Muslims question if God came as man
then who was running the world (they picture God as a pilot or captain
running this world - if this was true then He would be a pretty bad pilot
or captain, seeing the way things are happening).

Understand God is spirit and not a human, He exists everywhere yet the
Upper Heaven is considered His throne. Jesus explained the term God the Son
in John 1:18 and uses the words 'who existed in the bosom of the Father'.
God is not a man to have a bosom and if one takes the actual Greek word it
means 'creek', God is not a mountain to have a creek. Jesus tried to
explain as God He was part of the Father and existed in the Father yet was
an individual by Himself even though they shared the same Spirit. They were
so connected yet different, that is why we read scriptures like 'that they
all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee' and 'Jesus gave
us His Spirit' and sometimes we read 'we received the Spirit of God' for He
and the Father cannot be separated yet He calls His Father 'Lord'. When we
visualize the term 'Son' with God it should be as in with relationship to a
family and not to a human. A son of the family is part of the family yet an
individual. He represents the family wherever he goes even though the whole
family does not go along with him.

God the Son humbled Himself and came as man to be a sacrifice for man since
no man was found worthy to be a sacrifice. When we say sacrifice it does
not mean a death that pleased God (God is life and is not a demonic god to
like death) but sacrifice means a justification, man (mankind) had sinned
so had to pay the price for his sins (which is usually done in Hell - a
prison where man was cursed to go after he or she dies). Jesus was without
even one sin yet took the punishment on Himself therefore His justification
was greater than the same if was done by all sinful men. He also went to
Hell due to our sins being on Him yet He did not suffer there, nor would be
kept there since no sin was in Him. His coming out of Hell broke the curse
of Hell for all this who are in Him (spiritually made Him their Lord).

Jesus to be the perfect sacrifice of behalf of mankind had to firstly be
born from the family of Adam yet should not be born with a human father
because the curse of Adam (sinful nature and other curses) was from the
father unto the children.

Jesus being born of a woman who was a descendant of Adam fulfilled his task
of being a sacrifice on behalf of the children of Adam (those who believe
in God) and He being born of a virgin (without a human father) made sure He
was born without blemish since as man His father was the Holy Spirit
(Spirit of God). As man He had the perfect nature (image) of God therefore
even though He was 100 percent man He was called Son of God (there is a
difference between God the Son and Son of God - the latter is used for even
the Angels who have the image of God in them, Adam too was called Son of
God before he sinned, before we go to Heaven we become Sons of God). Mary
as a woman was chosen not because there was something very special about
her. She was an ordinary God fearing devote woman and she was a descendant
of David, it was she being chosen that made her special and be called
'blessed', not the other way around. Her relation with Jesus even though
being of a mother and child yet she was more like a surrogate mother for
Him (since He was not born of a human relationship and thus did not inherit
anything from her) that is why He used the term 'woman' when He spoke to
her directly but yet called her 'mother' when He spoke to others referring
to her.

Even though Jesus was born without blemish He grew up as an ordinary human
and during this time He did not sin even once, even slightly like a bad
thought. This was only possible because of the Spirit of God was on Him
(this enable Him to resurrect - the power worked no in Hell after His death
but while He was alive as man). We can be exactly like Jesus for when we
are born-again we are made new and when we are baptized (immersed) in the
Holy Spirit the Spirit works in us as He worked in Jesus.

I explained all this so you could understand in today's message, which
Father Jesus is referring to as works of the Father. We, who are brethren
of the man Jesus Christ, can also call the Holy Spirit as Father for He is
the Spirit of the Father, and also He has accepted us into His Family by
the justification done on our behalf by His Son. Let us to show the works
of our Father in us like Jesus did, so that people will know we are of God
having God (image of God) in us.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God and there is no place any being can hide from
You for You are omnipresent. You created man for a purpose and set things
for him far greater than he can imagine. When the Angels fell and bought
death into existence, You allowed this evil to come into man with Adam
sinning but You also made a way for man to overcome this evil and have
victory over evil and death. Lord we thank You for making a way for our
salvation and for us being part of the Family. Holy Spirit, You are our
Father, work in us and show us as your Sons to the world that they may know
You in us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The world identifies us and our relationship with Christ

Mark 15:67 - And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him,
and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.

I do not know how many times I may have received this scripture but every
time I get it I get in a fix as to what new the Lord wants to say to us for
I know God always serves fresh Manna to His people and gives wisdom to make
the Manna into Living Bread that nourishes and gives life.

When we read this scripture in English it gives very little detail as to
what actually happened, but when we get into the Greek text it unfolds like
a live drama before one's eyes.

It is sad to see most translators diluted the impact of scriptures when
they translated them into English. Studying scriptures in English text and
not in their original language is like the difference between reading a
Children's Bible or a Good News Bible (a Bible meant for kids) and the KJV
or NIV or ASV Bible.

In today's message the verbs used here 'she saw' and 'she looked' are very
important. In Greek the word 'to see' is 'blepo' and 'to look' is
'theoreo'. The word used here as 'she saw' is 'oida' (conjugated to she
saw) and 'emblepo' as 'she looked'.

Oida does not mean just to see but means to perceive with one's eyes or
senses. Now one may say what difference does that make. It makes a
difference because the next action the girl did was emblepo which does not
mean just see (blepo does not mean to look but to see). The word em added
to blepo and means to position or fix (in place, in time or state). So
together it means she focused here sight on Peter. So it says she focused
her sight later but before that something about Peter drew her attention
towards him.

Now when we visualize the event it shows that she first became aware of
Peter, of his presence that too in a crowd of people with many warming
themselves around a fire. It was something about Peter that caused her to
differentiate him or make him stand out from the crowd. It was after that
she focused her sight on him and made her question him.

If we see the first followers of Jesus were not called Christians the term
Christians was coined in Antioch, before that they were called by 2 other
names. The first term used was 'Disciples' it then changed to 'People of
the Way' and later the term 'Christians' was used.

It surprised me as I sat to write this message and sat to understand the
stages and difference between these terms. These names actually tell the
impact the followers of Christ had on the people and this can be seen
clearly in book of Acts.

A person is called a disciple only when the leader is acknowledged. Even
though Jesus died resurrected and ascended to Heaven yet He was so alive
between His followers that people continued to call them Disciples. But
later as the followers started settling down with worldly activities people
started seeing the things they did and the difference between the things
the others did (the followers of Jesus at that time were confused as being
Jewish). We see people started calling them 'People of the Way' looking at
their way of life. Later we see people saw the things they did outside
their livelihood and compared them to what Jesus Christ did and started to
call them Christian which was actually a term meaning 'little Christ'.

What one notes through these terms, is the people noticing the distance of
Jesus Christ from His followers. When we followers of Christ get too much
into activities and into adapting to worldly things people notice the
things we do and less of Christ in us. The deeper we get into these
activities regularly we start to become a religion like one of the world.
People start seeing a religious pattern and start to compare this pattern
with other religions.

It is time people see Christ alive in us and see Christ more than they see
us or what we do. It is time to close the distance between us and Christ.
Let us not get too much into activities and especially rituals (doing same
things again and again at particular timing like a clock). Let us not
become a religion but let the people experience God in us.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray people see You in us and know that You are a Living God. Let
them experience your power and glory through us. Lord we pray we draw a
line when it comes to activities and not get too lost in them but
concentrate more on our relationship with You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Acts 1:15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples,
and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

Acts 6:2 Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples, and said,
It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Acts 9:2 and asked of him letters to Damascus unto the synagogues, that if
he found any that were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring
them bound to Jerusalem.

Acts 11:26 and when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it
came to pass, that even for a whole year they were gathered together with
the church, and taught much people, and that the disciples were called
Christians first in Antioch.

Peter the Pope of the Jewish Christians

Luke 24:12 Then Peter arose, and ran to the sepulchre; and stooping down,
he beheld the linen clothes laid by themselves, and departed, wondering in
himself at that which had come to pass.

Catholics swear about Peter being the person chosen to head the Church and
I do not deny it. If one sees this scripture and study it with the book of
Moses and the book of Acts one would be able to confirm that Peter indeed
was selected to head the Church but which Church is what may amuse many.

In the book of Moses (Leviticus 16:23,32) when the High Priest (Aaron) went
into the Holy of Holies, after sprinkling blood on the Ark of Covenant
seven times he would leave his robe the floor and only his successor would
enter and pick up the rob. We see even though John reached the sepulcher
first yet he did not dare to enter it. Peter was first to enter and he was
the one who picked the robe that lying on the floor. We see the other cloth
(napkin) used to cover the face not being along with the linen that was
used to wrap the body of Jesus. This napkin was neatly folded and kept
where the body was as a sign that the person would be back, that was
according to Jewish custom, if the person at the table has finished he
would drop the napkin on the floor and not fold and keep it on the table.
So Peter in deed was selected to head the Church, but Jewish Church and
this is also confirmed in the book of Acts.

In the book of Acts we read the Holy Spirit selects Peter and Paul to lead
the Churches. Peter was selected to lead the Jewish Christians
(circumcised) and Paul and Barnabas to lead the Gentle Christians
(uncircumcised). Indeed both Peter and Paul were part of the core team of 5
that lead the whole Church but yet they were given individual
responsibilities of the respective Churches. Unless Catholics are Jewish
Christian they cannot state Peter to be the one selected to lead the
Catholic Church. If they indeed have to name someone then it would be Paul
or Barnabas and not Peter.

The Catholics base their understanding of Peter being the overall chosen
head of the Church after Jesus primarily on two incidents one is Matthew
16:18 and second Peter spoke to the crowd after what happened in the upper
room on Pentecost.

When Jesus spoke to the disciples He spoke in Aramaic for it was the local
dialogue in Judea. It is the translations that cause confusion about
Matthew 16:18, this scripture. In Greek text the scripture uses two words
Petra and Petros. If one goes into the Greek grammar the word Petros as a
noun has the gender masculine while the word Petra has the gender feminine
thus they are not the same and do not symbolize the same thing. We see
sense only in the Aramaic words. The word used by Jesus for Peter (Petros)
in Aramaic (Cephas) as stated in John 1:42 refers to a pebble (stone) and
not a large rock or cliff as in Petra. In Aramaic the word for large rock
is Shu'a. The Greek word Petra means rock in sense of a large cliff on
which a foundation can be set. This can also be confirmed in the Hebrew
words the word used for the Lord is 'cela' and for small stone is 'tyre' or
'tyrus'. The term 'small stone' is given to Satan in Ezekiel 28 (King of
Tyrus) for Satan never speak total lies but speaks little truths so as to
mislead man. Simon Peter was very immature and spoke with little
understanding and many a times we see he was rebuked by Jesus. We also see
the sense of this by the fact that Jesus usually used the name Simon for
him but only when Jesus was upset with him or wanted to bring sense into
him did Jesus use the term Peter for Simon.

One may ask why Jesus used the term Peter in Matthew 16:18 and not Simon.
We can see just after this incident Jesus rebuked Simon Peter for being
influenced by Satan. Later in chapter 17 the Gospel records the incident of
transfiguration and Peter's silly comment of making 3 temples then follows
the incident of paying the temple tax where Jesus rebukes Simon Peter for
asking Him to pay and Jesus in turn asks Simon to catch a fish and pay the
taxes from the coin that he finds in the fish's stomach. If one goes deeper
into the background and what actually happened, how Peter caught the fish
and what coin he found would one know what happened. One should realize
Simon caught one fish and not many fishes so he did not use a net like
fishermen usually do, also the coin was not normal change for this was an
annual temple tax paid by a Jew so was not a small amount, and over that
Jesus asked him to pay for both of them.

Paul too speaks in his letters of the foundation of the Church being not
Peter but on who Jesus Christ is (1 Corinthians 3:11). Catholics are lied
to about Peter being the first Pope. Firstly the term Pope (Latin means
father) was used for the Bishop of Rome and the book of Acts does not
record of Peter being in Rome or anointed as bishop of Rome. Secondly the
Catholic Church came into existence only after 300 AD after Constantine
accepted Christianity, before that between 70AD to 300AD the Church was in
hiding with Christians being persecuted and killed especially in Rome. It
was Constantine who made the Bishop of Rome and the head of other Churches
for his own political reasons; during that time the Bishops were fighting
against each other. Later over the years the Church saw at times 2 and
sometimes even 3 Popes who fought like gangsters against each other, this
period is called the dark ages by the RC Church.

Today the Lord want us to know although He has used man to be an important
part of His Church yet it is founded not on any man but on the Truth, that
is knowing who the Lord Jesus Christ is and this revelation comes from the
Holy Spirit (Jesus as man was born by the power of the Holy Spirit
therefore also referred to the Holy Spirit as Father). If we look at all
the other things connected with the Church functioning they too are
connected to the Holy Spirit.

Jesus made it possible for us to be part of the Temple / the Church and it
is the Holy Spirit who seals us into the Temple / Church. This we will know
from the fact the first Church took place when the Holy Spirit was given to
all in the upper room on the day of Pentecost (Feast of Harvest).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are a Holy God and You have chosen man to be part of your Body,
therefore You have commanded man to be holy for You God are Holy. Lord,
since it was impossible for man to be holy by Himself therefore You made a
way for man to receive holiness and by your Spirit You made it possible for
man to walk this way to receive this holiness. Lord we pray the eyes of
those under deceive be open that the Truth - knowledge of who You are is
the foundation on which your Church is build...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

It is the Lord who maketh His Elect righteous

Romans 8: 33, 34 - Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It
is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died,
or rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who
also maketh intercession for us.

Jesus in His preaching spoke of many called and few being chosen. Most
people think this many refers to the people of the world and the few are
the Christians who accepted Christ; that is not true.

The scripture does not say 'all' by says 'many', many is a subset of all.
Yes the message of hope and salvation is for all of mankind but God knows
who will and who will not accept His message of hope and salvation and who
among them will really follow Him. Those who accept the message (believe in
Him) get counted into His flock but one should remember His flock consist
of both sheep and goats. The sheep are those who dedicatedly follow His
Word and the goats are those who believe in Him but yet do their own things.

Bible says those who are not in the flock are already judged that means
they automatically go to Hell where they suffer their sins. It is those who
are in the flock are the ones who stand before the throne of the Son of Man
(Jesus Christ - He will not judge us as God but as man, by the power of the
Holy Spirit and the Word). The sheep will then be separated from the goats,
the sheep will go to Heaven and the goats will be punished more than those
who rejected the message of hope and salvation. The goats will be punished
not for their sins (since by faith in Jesus Christ their sins are forgiven)
but they shall be punished for rejecting the Word and the Spirit (that is
why only those baptized / immersed in Jesus Christ and His Spirit are the
only ones who get to enter Heaven). Those who found abiding in the Truth
(Fruit received from the Holy Spirit) will be covered with Righteousness of
the Son (Fruit received from the Son) and get to enter Heaven and be part
of the Body of God the Son (wedding) but before that they will receive the
Fruit of Holiness (Fruit received from God the Father).

Now one may wonder where do these Elect stand, do they count among the

Yes the Elect are among the sheep but yet they do not stand to among the
flock that is judged before the Throne on Judgment Day and that is what
today's message also says. One may wonder how?

It is important to understand the Chosen ones of God or the Elect. They are
numbered and Bible says not one of them is lost. They are the ones who did
not choose God but God chose them even before they came to know Him. They
can be confused with the larger sheep lot whose names are already written
in the Book of Life yet there is lots of distinct difference between the
lots. The book of Revelation explains the Elect as being the Frist
Resurrection and the Angels that come with the man Jesus Christ to finish
Satan and his army (Paul . This happens before the Judgment Day and before
those in the Grave (those who have believed and are asleep in the Lord)
resurrect. In today's message the Lord says those who are in the first
resurrection which refers to the Elect are already made Righteous (means
Justified) by Him, therefore they do not stand before the throne.

As I studied this there were many questions that came to me and am sure you
too would have, for example Bible says there is no partiality in the
Kingdom of God, Jesus too loved all the same and sacrificed Himself for all
(His flock), the Good Shepherd does not differentiate between His sheep but
leaves the flock and goes in search for any lost sheep etc... But as I
studied more on the Inner-man / Heart I started to understand this.

One may think it would be a great privilege to be one of the Elect, but
believe me when I tell you these do not live a life on this earth for
themselves. These are not the regular army cadets but the commandos who go
through rigorous training day in and out. It is through this that they are
created anew and made righteous by the Lord.

And in today's message one of the many prime reasons of God's choosing
people is given. The scriptures say “It is Christ that died, or rather,
that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh
intercession for us”. It says God does not look at the past but at our
future. We may be the worse lot of people and shameless like Jacob let God
dares to call us Israel (Prince of God / Sons of God) like He called Jacob.
When He sees us He sees what we will develop into and not what we are or
what we were. So these Elect are the masterpieces of His work, people who
allow Him to do His best in them.

In Revelation these Elect are linked to the 12 tribes of Israel even though
these tribes do not exist, for they are connected to the actual meaning of
the tribe similar to the basis of Jesus choosing His twelve chosen
disciples and these in turn symbolically continuing it later in Acts. To
understand them closely one needs to understand the Heavenly Army (Body) of
God the Son.

Some may think we should pray for these Elect (like some 'Christians' pray
for the 'Saints'), that would be foolish. Bible tells us to pray for
Jerusalem and no place tells us to pray for Israel. We can and should pray
for the ones who need help; those who walk in and out of the Lord's shelter
and not for those who are totally in the Lord's control for the Lord
protect them and they rule with Him (enforce His Law). Let us just thank
the Lord for His Elect for this land will not perish and evil will not
overwhelm mankind until each and every one of them pass through (the last
lot are the ones who rapture and Bible say in the last days there will be
many of the Elect).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we thank You for You have chosen worthless man for the greatest
mission and made him worthy to be part of You in Heaven. Lord we also thank
You for the Elect and the things You are doing through them in our lives.
We humbly bow and worship You Lord for You indeed are a Righteous God,
Almighty in Power and your wisdom can not be measured. You along God know
all things and nothing is hidden from You. Time is not a factor for You nor
your ability limited but You give the freedom for man to choose and decide
His destination. Lord we pray we run this race and never tire and when we
fall may your grace multiply and get us on our feet to continue our race...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

If thy foot causeth thee to stumble cut it off

Mark 9:45 - And if thy foot causeth thee to stumble, cut it off: it is
better for thee to enter lame into life, than having two feet to be cast

When Christians read this scripture they would not dare to follow it in
letter. Imagine a person who has to habit to taking things without
permission actually cutting his hands to avoid it. Even more drastic a
person who tempted by porn or by girls or boys provocatively dressed
actually removing his or her eyes to stop sinning. Muhammad had heard this
teaching from the Christians in his days and made laws like the hands of a
thief be cut for stealing today known as Sharia.

Do you think Jesus actually stated such a law or even suggested a Christian
actually do this?

It is only lack of wisdom and understanding of life and the Kingdom of God
that a person with cut off a part of one's body to stop one's self from
sinning. To understand the level of foolishness one needs to see the
extreme. There was a photo of a Muslim jihadi I saw on an internet news
website it was of heavily armed jihadi and around his groan area he had
tied a big block of foam concrete block to protect his private parts from
getting damaged by gun firing. There was also a report of suicide bomber
caught by the Israelites having metal guards protecting his private parts.
There was nothing wrong in their thinking. According to their religion
their reward in paradise is sex with 72 virgins so their logic is clear if
they want to enjoy their reward they had to save their private parts. What
is funny is they never thought of their other parts of their body and how
it would affect them there if were missing or damaged?

Heaven is not an earthly resort far away from earth. God is spirit and His
dwelling place is also spiritual. Man cannot understand the term spirit for
in the Bible it is denoted by the word 'breathe'. When man imagines spirit
he thinks of air, energy, smoke anything that is abstract yet can be

Bible says Heaven is a place for the overcomers so by cutting one's hand or
any other body parts to stop one from sinning will not make the person an
overcomer. Paul understood what Jesus stated therefore taught people the
steps to overcome and the first step after having faith was fleeing. Paul
used the word 'flee' in many of his letters.

Christianity is a spiritual battle and it is the Lord who helps us in this
battle. If we did not have the Holy Spirit with us then we would have had
to actually cut off parts of our body to keep us from sinning but then we
would land up cutting all the parts connected to out five senses. But by
God's grace and by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ we have received His
Spirit. Even thinking of cutting any part of us to avoid sinning would be
denying the complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ that is the gift of the Holy
Spirit gained by His sacrifice.

There was a brother who shared his testimony. He was a drug addict as well
as an alcoholic and later started to know the Lord. Even after he came to
know the Lord he would drink and take drugs but yet would come to Church to
fellowship with the people of God. He knew in his heart his solution was
here and nowhere else. One day he had faith in God and made his mind to
overcome so he locked himself in a room and did not come out for more than
a week. All he did in this room was pray and plead God for strength to
overcome. He went through great suffering because of the effects of
depriving his body of drugs and liquor but he held on to the Lord and after
a week he walked out of his room as an overcomer. Not only did he overcome
his problem, he went out and reached all his friends who were into the same
problem and brought many out of it.

Our natural body is not what we take to Heaven. The part of us that goes to
Heaven is our spirit and soul (Inner-man). The soul is the body of the
spirit and beauty of the soul is the beauty of the spirit. Sin deforms or
corrupts the soul and at time disables parts of our spirit body. Redemption
is when our soul is reformed and the corrupt body is made incorrupt. So by
cutting parts of our body will not affect our soul we need to fight the
spiritual battle in the spirit and not in the flesh. Repentance will take
us ahead but penance will drag us back spiritually. Fight the corrupt
spiritual body (the carnal body) and not the body of flesh (the natural
body). The fight starts with having faith, fleeing temptation, building
faith and then overcoming evil.

Do not waste too much time and efforts with the gift wrapping paper (our
natural bodies) spend more time and efforts on the gift which is inside
(our spirit and our spiritual body).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord You have said in your Word if we ask for wisdom You will give us. We
pray You give us wisdom to know when and how to flee temptation. Give us
the courage to keep ourselves far from temptation and grow in faith that we
may be overcomers of evil and be victorious in You. You Lord have given us
your Spirit to help us in this battle. Holy Spirit be with us and guide us
every moment of the day and help us be sensitive to your instructions and
abide by it...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

God the junk artist - choosing the worse for the best

Mark 3:17 - And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James;
and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

If God were to be compared to an artist there is no comparison to Him and
when it comes to man He is the best junk artist. He takes pleasure in using
the worse kind of people for the greatest of missions, making masterpieces
of them.

In today's message we read about Jesus giving the name Boanerges to John
and James Zebedee. Before I get to the details almost all translation use
the word surname. If were read Luke 22:3 the word surnamed used there is
the Greek word is 'epikaleomai' it is made of 2 words 'epi' which means
'on' and 'kaleo' means 'call' so together it means to 'call on' or 'call

But when we read today's message the word translated here as surname is
'epitithemi' which is made of the words 'epi' and 'tithemi'. The word
'tithemi' means to 'lay' or 'put'. So here the word does not mean to
nickname a person but more of give a title. We see Jesus did the same to
Simon when He gave him the title Peter. Now Peter is a Greek word and since
Jesus spoke Aramaic with His disciples He gave the title 'Cephas' and this
is recorded in John 1:42.

One may ask the question, why Jesus gave titles to John, James and Peter.
To understand this we need to acknowledge the fact that later in the case
of Simon the title became his nickname and was stuck to him but in the case
of John and James the title did not stick for it does not repeat anywhere

In the case of John and James we read in today's message Jesus gave them
the title 'Boanerges' which is an Aramaic word and means 'sons of thunder'.
It was nothing to do with their father but is to do with them. The word
symbolizes an overzealous person so much so that the zeal could be
destructive. And we see in scriptures this character of John and James
shows up.

In the case of Simon, he was called Cephas which means stone. The word got
confused with rock when it was translated into Greek for the words rock and
stone, Petra and Petros respectively are similar sounding. But if one is
familiar with Greek he or she would know not only living things but even
objects have genders male or female or neuter. Here we see Petra (rock) has
the feminine gender while Petros (stone) has a male gender. The gender does
not relate to objects they symbolize but has to do with the Greek language
and how these genders are assigned is yet not clear to linguist. Similarly
the word ruwach a Hebrew word meaning spirit has the gender female even
though a spirit does not have a gender (neuter gender).

In the Old Testament since the Spirit of Truth was not given unto man
therefore Truth was not known to man. They had the Word of God but no
understanding of it. Thus in the OT the Son of God and the Spirit of God
were denoted as Rock (the 2 rocks the Isrealites encountered in the
wilderness 1 Corinthians 10:4). Christ means the Man (here refers to Jesus
- God the Son who became man was symbolized the first Rock whom they were
allowed to strike) on whom the Spirit of God is (symbolized the second Rock
whom when struck Moses was punished).

Petra or rock symbolizes Truth and in turn symbolizes the Word of God and
is the foundation on which the Church is built. Christ is the Word that
became flesh (fulfilled) therefore is denoted as starting block / corner
stone of the foundation.

1 Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation [katabole - lay down / set forth]
can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and
prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Luke 6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid
the foundation [themelios - foundation] on a rock: and when the flood
arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it:
for it was founded upon a rock.

So when Jesus told Simon Peter in Matthew 16:18 on this rock I will build
my Church He referred the revelation (Truth) that Jesus is Lord as being
the rock on which the Church will be build.

Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter (stone), and
upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not
prevail against it.

Coming back to the titles, we see John and James were given the title Sons
of Thunder because of their overzealous nature. But the word son is used to
show that they were not totally unhelp able but were under that influence
like we are called sons of Adam (Adam nature) before coming to Christ to
show that there is hope for us too. Simon on the other hand was called
Cephas and not son of Cephas for he had a problem of jumping to conclusions
on little understanding. We see even after Pentecost Peter misled the
Christians with Jewish traditions and understanding and was rebuked by Paul.

What the Lord is telling us even though John, James and Simon were having
problems which were worse than others yet He used them for the greatest
purpose which was to lead the Church. The same He did for Saul (Paul) and
Joses (Barnabas who was also involved with Peter in misleading the

God is saying if you look at yourself as a total failure in life or someone
very difficult to help then you are the right candidate for God for a great
mission. God can do great things in His Kingdom through you.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we thank You for You are an Awesome God. When things look bleak for
us and no hope was found You became a hope and made a way to be saved. Lord
we thank You for setting great things for us who are rejected by the world
as useless, foolish and unhelp able. You Lord know how to make a diamond
out of coal without letting the coal go through fire or be damaged. Lord we
pray we surrender like John and James and vessels for your glory...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Mixing worldly things into Heavenly things

Paul's letter to Galatians

One of the strong points Paul took up in his letter to Galatians was about
some people mixing worldly traditions and beliefs into Christianity.

Judaism is far from Christianity, no doubt our scriptures (OT) are the same
but yet Judaism is a religion while Christianity is not. Jews claims to
worship the same God but for them this God is an unknown God (they do not
know who YHWH is nor what the word means) that is why in Hosea the Lord
said when He comes as Ishi (man) they will no longer call Him Baali
(meaning 'my Lord' as an spiritual being). But they rejected Him when He
came as man therefore never came to know Him. All that they did in His name
were traditions which were without understanding. It was these traditions
which Jesus hated and when they saw Jesus did not do their traditions they
hated Jesus.

When Paul preached there were Christians of Jewish origins that were
inducing Jewish traditions into Christianity and Paul was very angry with
them. Due to their lack of maturity they were causing the downfall of
others. They were putting yokes of works of the flesh as way to salvation.
What angered Paul most was, that Peter and Barnabas were also in this
group. Paul could not hold back his anger and rebuked Peter (since he was
more mature than the others) in the presence of the people.

One needs to understand Paul to understand his level of anger. Paul was
born Saul and Saul means 'desired' which was not a bad name yet his name
was changed. We need to understand why? Saul was a very learned in the laws
of the Jew and his teacher was the top most authority in this matter, at
that time. In today's sense Saul would be equivalent to a merit student
passed from the top most university in the world. This man Saul was renamed
Paul by the people because of the change projected of his character. The
name Paul means 'little' and this man of great Jewish knowledge and
understanding suddenly projected a very humble character of someone
learning and growing in true knowledge and understanding. When they saw
this great man projecting this little image they renamed him Paul.

Even though Paul had this humble image yet when he saw Peter and others
misguiding people by teaching the people Jewish traditions in the name of
Christ, he got very angry and could not hold his anger. So we see this
anger was not a small anger for it came from a cool person and was more
like a volcano that hit Peter and the others. No doubt Peter did not take
it in a bad way but as a correction and later in his letter acknowledged
Paul was right and was more knowledgeable than him.

In today's message the Lord is telling us to be like Paul. He wants us to
know that we are always in a learning stage and there is a lot for us to
yet know about scriptures and of the Kingdom of God. But that does not mean
we act like blind people who cannot see anything. Of what we know we should
discern and in this process of discerning little things we will know more.
We also need to not hesitate to correct people who are doing wrong, but our
correction should not cause them to fall. When we correct people its sole
purpose should be to bring them to the right path. Correction should not be
like pushing a person off the hill. Our rebuke should be with love that
builds and prospers that person so what we say and what we say is
important; but if that person is suborn then we need to at least save those
whom that person is destroying.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray your people do not be silent spectators when they see people
misleading others. Your Word says even if we do not support them, being
silent is still considered as support. Lord we pray we know how and when to
rebuke with love. Let us not only have courage to rebuke and wisdom as how
to rebuke but also not loss the purpose of rebuke by having a heart for the

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Divine management - Ministry of Jesus

Mark 3:13-19

13 And he goeth up upon a mountain, and calleth to him whom he would: and
they came to him.

14 And he appointed twelve, that they should be with him, and that he
might send them forth to preach,

15 And to have authority to heal sicknesses, and to cast out demons:

16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;

17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he
surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and
James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

19 And Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

Jesus is an example of perfection for us and for best results we should
follow what He did. Most Churches, Pastors and Preachers do not truly
follow His example in their ministry therefore do not see results. For
example Jesus regularly preached at synagogues but His main preaching was
done in places outside town and cities. We see most Pastors preach in
church halls but are rarely seen preaching at street corners or public
places. Most feel this task is the job of a select few and they are not
among those few.

Jesus had a multilayer ministry and all this was done with insight to
prophecies and systems given in the Old Testament. Jesus although was God
(Part of God yet a Individual by Himself) who humbled Himself and came as
man yet as man He did not possess any God powers other than the Nature /
Character of God in Him. The miracles and healings He did were all by the
power of the knowledge of the Word and by the power of the Holy Spirit,
that is why He stated in the last days we would do greater things then He
did, not that we would be greater than Him but since He as man did only
things that were necessary with purpose so as to glorify God the Father,
and we in our time will have greater opportunities and purposes for God to
be glorified.

Let me give a basic structure of Jesus' ministry.

Jesus was always followed by hordes of people who were in need of healings
or deliverance and also those who were fascinated with what He did or said.
This lot was in thousands but from them, those who really desired Him were

Jesus also had a team of dedicated helpers, they followed Him as and when
they were able, among the women who were part of this team were His mother,
His aunty Salome / Mary wife of Zebedee (mother of John and James) and Mary

Jesus as His main team had dedicated 12 men who were handpicked and whose
names are given in today's message, they were 'men on a mission'. All of
them were chosen not because of their character or ability but were
selected according to their purpose in the Kingdom of God. They were not
uneducated fishermen as people think. During that time basic education was
compulsory for all since that time there was prosperity in the land as
there was peace in the land (that is why King Herod (s) was able to make
great structures and monuments, in fact one historian goes on to say during
those years there is no record of any great war or battles anywhere in the
world). As a Jew all men were compiled to study scriptures after the age of
8 therefore study of Hebrew was a must. All Jesus' disciples knew to read
and write including these 12 (we can see this from the depth of Jesus'
teachings to them; He never spoke to then as illiterates). We also see even
though Jesus knew about Judas' betrayal yet he was chosen so that he played
part in Jesus' mission.

From these 12 there were 3 who were given special attention, these were the
two brothers John and James (they were cousins to Jesus - sons of Salome,
sister of Mary His mother) and Simon the son of Jona whom Jesus called
Cephas (this was his Aramaic name since Jesus spoke that language with them
but later was known as Peter when scriptures were translated in Greek).
These 3 were super special not because Jesus loved them more than others
even though John always called himself as 'the one whom Jesus loved' there
were others who also are known as 'loved ones'. We need to understand Jesus
who was and is in the Nature of God loved all the same but according to
their purpose in the Kingdom of God gave more attention to some. Also the
number 12 was symbolic to understand the foundational purpose of the Church
and as these twelve grew in the Holy Spirit we do not see any mention of
this number (it is repeated in Revelation also in a symbolic way).
Incidentally all these twelve had the Calling of an Apostle and were thus
known as the 12 Apostles; Jesus specially chose these with this Calling for
they were to part of the foundation of the Church. Now that the Church has
been set when the Holy Spirit was given to the people at Pentecost, we do
not need to always have a person with the Calling of Apostle as a leader of
a Church but any person mature in any of the other Callings can also lead a
Church (ideally a local church is to be led by a person having a calling of
Administrator/ Pastor and the others Callings coordinating according to the
hierarchy set, supporting and connecting it to other Churches).

John, his brother James and Simon Peter were chosen out of the twelve and
given more attention because they were to form the core team that led the
overall Church, as disciples and churches grew in various places. Later we
see Paul and Barnabas were added to this core team. This team had no head
for Christ was their head. Although Paul was the more knowledgeable between
them, yet he was not their head, nor was Peter. Paul was given the
leadership of the gentile Christians (non-Jewish Christians) and Peter was
given the leadership of the Jewish Christian by the Holy Spirit, yet the
overall administration of all the Churches including Jewish and non-Jewish
Christians were overlooked by this team of 5.

What we see here is that Jesus always believed in team work. Although all
were equal for Him yet He did not put all in the same team but had
multilevel teams according to their purpose in the Kingdom of God.

Let us learn management from Jesus not only for Church related
administration but also for administration of other bodies like a family, a
business, a society etc... Jesus was perfect and even though at times His
system seemed to have almost collapse yet it prevailed and is the greatest
success story in mankind.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, your Word says what is of You and from You, no man or power can go
against it and prevail. What You have set according to your Heavenly
Kingdom will always remain and flourish for glory belongs only to You. Man
may do great things but if they are not according to your design they all
fail and collapse. Lord, we pray your people understand your system and
apply it not only in the Churches but also in their families and offices...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Beware the dogs, evil workers and mutilation

Philippians 3:2, 3 - Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the
false circumcision. For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the
spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

When we read today's scripture it may make us wonder was Paul a dog hater
like Muhammad that he warns about dogs by comparing them with evil.

When we get to the Greek text it opens our minds to a better understanding
of today's message. The word translated as beware is the verb 'blepo' which
simply means 'look' not just see but observe. The Greek noun 'Kuno' as an
adjective means 'canine' (dog like) and as a noun 'dog', it is used here as
a description therefore refers to an impure man. The Greek word 'katatome'
translated as false circumcision actually means 'to cut up' or 'mutilate'
and is metaphorically used here meaning 'cut short' or 'fall short'.

In other words Paul warns of 3 types of people and these people are not
people of the world but those who exist among the Christian congregations:-

Firstly the impure man - it means those who justify sin or pleasures of the
world with Biblical references or with things like God understands or being
blessed means having worldly riches. If that was the case then the Apostles
were people hardly blessed for they were never rich but yet they never
lacked. These impure people are people who state God knows and will save
you as far as you believe in Jesus Christ but you can continue the desires
of the carnal man.

Secondly the evil nature workers - it refers to people who give evil a
Christian outlook. Like rebelling is called justification, cheating is
called business, lying is called not hurting, laziness is called tiredness,
irresponsibility is called over sight etc...

We as Christians are called to set ourselves as examples and not behave
like the people of the world. Church is not just a gathering of people but
means a gathering of people who have come out or separated themselves from
the world. That means although we live in this world yet we do not behave
like the people of the world but set ourselves as an example for them. We
are called not to just preach but to shine the light of Christ in us, in
our way of life.

Thirdly we are warned of people who people who preach about the short fall
of Jesus Christ's work in our salvation - we need to understand the 2 steps
of complete salvation. Frist is we been saved from going to Hell. Hell is a
prison (not a place where Satan rules) where sinner man was cursed by God
to perish after his natural death so as to restrict the spirit till its
spirit life term (which is a few thousands of years).

Jesus paid the prices for the sinners who believe in Him and His sacrifice.
He also became the peace sacrifice (by His hanging on the cross) and broke
the curse of Hell by His resurrection so any person who believes in His
death and resurrection no longer goes to Hell after his or her death. The
person does not need to go any good work or good deeds to avoid Hell. Even
if that person has sinned yet the person saved from Hell by his or her
faith in Jesus Christ.

Now about going to Heaven which required us to do the Will of the Father,
here too it is not our being good or doing works of righteousness that
qualifies us to go to Heaven. Our righteousness is like rags before God so
any amount of good deeds do not qualify us before God. James and Paul among
others talk of works and these are not works of righteousness but works of
faith. Works of faith means when we abide by the Word and walk in faith.
When we do that then on Judgment Day Christ covers us which His
Righteousness (symbolized by Blood) which enables us to enter Heaven. This
means as much as we understand of scriptures little or more, we need to
abide by it and this keeping of the faith qualifies us to receive the Fruit
of Righteousness a gift from the Son. To understand scriptures too we
cannot study like we study worldly subjects. True understanding of
scriptures comes via revelation from the Holy Spirit (Fruit of Truth) and
this can come directly to us or from another who has received it and in
turn passed it down to us. Unless we do not get a revelation of the Word,
we will not be able to abide by the Word. People who compromise in teaching
the word or do worldly showmanship while teaching entertain and please
people but do not cause them to be transformed into better Christians.

There are so called Christians whom we need to be aware of who ask us to do
rituals so as to go to Heaven or believe in another person other than Jesus
Christ for our salvation.

We need to understand when there was no way for man to go to Heaven Jesus
Christ became the way. He is the only way and no other man or being is a
way to Heaven. Also to go on that way He gave us His Spirit who is our
Helper. So through Jesus Christ and His Spirit comes the complete package
to man's salvation and man's return to Heaven. That is why Paul says in the
next verse we are the circumcision, meaning it is us who are cut off of our
Adam nature and made into more of spirit beings and not carnal beings that
dwell in the desires of the flesh. Jesus Christ sets us on the circumcision
table and it is the Holy Spirit who performs the spiritual circumcision
making us spirit being and thus Sons of God.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord we pray your people grow in discernment and learn to watch out for the
spiritual dogs, the evil workers and people who preach works of the flesh.
Lord we pray your people set themselves as example for the world and your
light shine bright so that your Kingdom comes on earth people know You
alone are God and there is no other god than You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past,
through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be
just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but
by the law of faith.

Romans 7:12-25
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.
13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin,
that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that
sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.

what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing:
for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I
find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that
I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that
dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind,
and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 8:5-14
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but
they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life
and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to
the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit

none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit
is life because of righteousness.

God loves a righteous giver

2 Corinthians 9:9,10 - (As it is written, He hath dispersed; he hath given
to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. Now may he that
ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and
multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

Today's message follows one of the most favorite scriptures in Churches
'God loves a cheerful giver' and as we read the actual reference with which
Paul put this scripture or from where it has been quoted that is Psalms 112
one would wonder what has this scripture to do with what people use it for.

The same is the case with another scripture Luke 6:38 which talks about
giving and receiving pressed down, flowing over. Now if someone glances to
the reference with what it talks of then again you will see a total misuse
and misquoting of scriptures by people. Luke 6:38 talks not of tithe or
'offering' but talks of mercy and forgiveness (Luke 6:36,37), Jesus is
telling us about being merciful and forgiving others and we too will be
forgiven even for our worse misdeeds. It says when we have mercy and
forgiveness for others, not only God will forgive us but it goes on to say
'men shall give unto your bosom' for God will cause it to happen. More
interesting is the fact that it says 'for with the same measure that ye
mete withal it shall be measured to you again' so where does tithes or
multiplication come from. Jesus goes on to state when we do not forgive we
harden our hearts and become spiritually blind, and a blind person cannot
lead another blind person for both will fall.

In today's message the Lord is telling us about the righteous disciple who
works for Him. The Lord is telling us working for His Kingdom is all about
giving ourselves to God. Jesus said 'he that loseth his life for my sake
shall find it', and this He said not once but twice. A righteous disciple
does not live for himself but lives for the purpose of God and when he sows
it is the Lord who protects his seeds, makes them fruitful and multiplies
them many times over. In His exclusive teaching to His select 12 Jesus
spoke to them very important matters and among them was about the
difference of being blessed by a Prophet and been blessed by a righteous
man. Jesus said a person who receives / connects to a Prophet will receive
a Prophet's reward and one who receives / connects to a righteous man would
receive a righteous man's reward. People may think the former is better for
they do not know the difference in value.

A preacher will preach and prophesy and see things happen, on the other
hand a righteous man's work may not show these fireworks but his works are
like a strong fortress protected by the Lord.

People think giving one's time and one's 'talent' means giving one's life.
God prefers a person who gives his life wholly to God and His Kingdom. When
one gives his life to God it includes not just time but also includes one's
desires, one's priorities and one's pleasures. Many Preachers do God's work
but they do not fail to satisfy their pleasures and desires.

Give your life to God wholly and fully and see the Lord bless you in ways
unimaginable. These blessings will not be worldly blessings but they are
more precious than all the gold and silver of this world.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we pray we see less of showman preachers and part time disciples who
do your work and also use your anointing to enjoy the pleasures of this
world. We pray to see more righteous men who live for You and for your
Kingdom, so that we see great fruits and fruits that last...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Psalms 112:5-10

5 A good man showeth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in
everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in
the LORD.

8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he seeth his
desire upon his enemies.

9 He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth
for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth,
and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

2 Corinthians 9:1-8

1 For as concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for
me to write to you:

2 For I know the readiness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them
of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath stirred
up very many.

3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain
in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:

4 Lest if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we
(that we say not, ye) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would
go before to you, and make up beforehand your bounty, of which ye had
notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not
of covetousness.

6 But this I say, He who soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and
he who soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not
grudgingly, or by necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always
having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Luke 6:36-38

36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be
condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and
shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with
the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Matthew 10:41 - He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall
receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the
name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

Do not put People of God in Zoos

Galatians 2:2 - And I went by revelation, and communicated to them that
gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them who were of
reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain.

It really pains me greatly and makes me very angry when I see Church
leaders and elders destroying the very souls they have bought to the Lord
with a promise to save them.

After 300AD when the Catholic Church was formed the Word of God was taken
away from the people and the people were given a Jesus who was far from the
Jesus in the Bible. Even today the Catholics do not know which 'Bible' is
the Word of God for they have been lied to and their eyes bonded with

Even after Reformation things are not very good. No doubt many have come to
know God by the study of the Word of God but then too the Church did not
come out fully from the Catholic Church. Even today the Believer Churches
are infected greatly with Catholic traditions and doctrines which go
against the Word of God and one of the greatest among these is the
hierarchy of authority which the Churches follow and this came from the
Jewish system before Christ. At that time the Body (Callings) was not
revealed so the Church (Jewish) followed the Aaron Priesthood system.

Nicolas was a Jewish heretic who converted to Christianity in Antioch
during the times before Paul. He started inducing his Jewish heresy into
Christianity. Both Paul and John warned about the Anti-Christ spirit
working during their time but these warnings fell on deaf ears.

Revelations warns of the Nicolaitan system in the first stage of the Church
and speaks about its total hold during the second stages of the Church. The
second stage started the time when the Roman Emperor Constantine converted
to Christianity in 300AD, at this time came into existence the Catholic
Church. Along with his support to the Bishop of Roman Constantine he also
caused a large amount of Roman pagan beliefs and celebrations to be induced
into Christianity in a bid to convert the pagan romans. The church then
just replaced names of festivals and made them Christian like the birthdate
of the sun god was made into the birthdate of Jesus and is yet celebrated.
They also changed the names of the idols and tampered with their looks and
made them Christian like the statue of Greco-Roman goddess Isis with her
infant Horus was made into the statue of Mary and infant Jesus, so also the
statue of Isis with Osiris (the slain god) became the Catholic Pieta (Mary
with dead Jesus on her lap).

We see in the Believers churches which follow the Nicolaitan system, the
Pastors trying hard to keep the congregation in control and not letting
them go out and evangelize and start other Churches. The max you see is a
house churches growing into anther Churches without a person rebelling
against the Pastor and setting another Church.

Lately I heard a Pastor preach that a farmer does not scatter seed
everywhere he goes for these seed need to be tended to. He was right in a
way because he made himself the husband man of the vineyard of God putting
himself in the place of God and his vineyard is small like his god is

Paul knew his role in the Body of Christ and he relied on others doing
their roles to bring people up in Christ. He did face problems doing this
but yet he did not give up. Paul in his life time of a little more than 40
years of ministry planted almost a thousand churches. He went on at least 3
long journeys across various lands, setting up churches. If it was not for
Paul the other 12 Apostles would have been sitting tight in Jerusalem for a
long time. When Paul came into the picture he caused them to get
uncomfortable and to move out of Jerusalem leaving for Peter who was given
the ministry of attending to the Jewish Christians by the Lord (Holy

In today's message we read Paul confesses he went with Titus without
consulting any person but purely being led by the Holy Spirit. That does
not mean we should let anyone and everyone to do as they wish. We need to
mature them and let them be led by the Holy Spirit. The problem is the
people are never allowed to mature in the Lord for the Pastors themselves
lack understanding of scriptures since they stop pursuing the knowledge and
understanding of the Kingdom of God the moment they become 'Pastors'. They
spend all their time attending to the flock, doing church activities and do
not spend time on their own growth. They do not understand due to their
spiritual dwarfishness they are destroying those under them the very people
whom they love.

We need to stop playing Church and start living Church. The Church is not
about just coming together as a body. A body that does not grow soon dies,
thus if the Church does not go out and save souls it will soon or later
die. It will first die a spiritual death and then physical death.

Let us stop making our Churches into a zoo to please the world but let the
People of God be led by the Spirit of God and go out saving souls even if
it makes the world uncomfortable.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord it has been thousands of years yet the world does not know You. You
are a Living Almighty God who works through Your people, yet the people of
the world do not know You. Your people in Churches are set free from the
bonds of hell but are put under bonds of legalism and deceit. They are
prevented from knowing and growing in You. They are prevented from being
led by You and maturing into sons therefore remain spiritually stunted. We
pray Lord sense prevails in those whom You have set over your people. We
pray the thirst of knowing You and growing in You grows in them day by

The invisible King

1 Timothy 1:17 - Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, God the only
wise, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Just 2 days back I had the privilege to hear the testimony of a Hindu who
accepted Christ and he said he was a RSS person before (a left wing Hindu
group). He and his family had accepted Christ but one day he saw a picture
of Jesus so he bought it home. His wife being mature in Christ did not
allow him to keep the picture in the house so disappointed he took it to
his office and put it up there. He would regularly keep looking at it. One
day while he was alone in his cabin he heard a voice, he thought someone
was at the door so he asked the person to come in, but no one came. Again
he heard a voice so he checked the door and no one was there. The third
time he heard the voice very clearly and he knew it was the Lord talking to
him. He heard the voice say 'how do you know that is me?'. That very moment
he called his office boy and had the picture disposed.

I came to experience the Living God when I was yet a Catholic and as a
Catholic everyone has a fixed photograph of Jesus which was made by an
artist. At that time when I did not know Him well I would see this picture
like a living, life person before me, even when I open or closed my eyes I
could see Him. But as I grew in my relationship and knowledge of Him I no
longer would see this picture. I have experienced Him many a times even
though I did not see Him. He has made Himself visible to me in many ways
but no longer as the picture people say is Jesus.

We see Jesus appeared to Paul more than once but none of those times He
appeared as a man but more so appeared like light or as an Angle who is an
invisible being but yet shows a form somewhat like man that is why it is
written Lord and yet says an Angel, the same was with Moses or Daniel or
others before and after Jesus came as man.

The Lord came as man Jesus in the flesh and was human as you and me; in the
flesh He may have looked like what the picture that goes around but we do
not worship the man Jesus but worship the Lord who came as the man Jesus.
We do lift up the man Jesus for He was and is the perfect image of God for
the world to see and know God.

When my daughter was very small I would lay her hand on a picture of Jesus
and make her to pray but as she grew up I stopped that habit and today she
closes her eyes and prays but not before any picture or any statue. What
surprises people is the fact that I could do this even before she was 3
years old.

In today's message (taking directly from the Greek scriptures) Paul talks
of Jesus Christ as King who is eternal, immortal [incorruptible], only
skilled God value [the word means price] and glory unto Him forever. Among
these Paul uses the characteristic invisible.

In the Bible we read Jesus said to Thomas 'blessed are they that have not
seen and yet have believed'. Today the Lord is asking us if we are like
Thomas who was weak in faith that he needed to see the Lord in the natural
to believe Him. It is only because we lack knowledge and understanding of
God that we in our small minds want to see Him more than know Him more. He
humbled Himself once but we are humbling Him again and again when we demand
or desire to see Him as a man. It is time we grow up and stop holding on to
images and statues of Jesus but know Him as the invisible, immortal being,
who was and is the perfect image of God and glorify the God who came as man.

Lord Jesus, when there was no hope You became our only hope. You left your
High Place in the Father humbled yourself and came as man to make a way for
us to gathered unto the Father through You. Lord we pray people mature and

Word against the Ammonites

Ezekiel 25:7 - Behold, therefore I will stretch out my hand upon thee, and
will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from
the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will
destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

One may wonder why God would give a message to us today which is concerning
a race called the Ammonites, which existed more than 2000 to 3000 years

Today's message is concerning us and is for us since the term Ammonites for
us in today's message does not refer to the race but for a type of people
that exist today. The word Ammonites is actually two words sons of Ammon.
The Hebrew word 'Ammown' is usually translated as 'tribal' but comes from
the word 'am' which simply means 'people'. So we see the term Ammonites in
today's message to us refers to the 'sons of the people'.

Today's message is not for the people of the world but to Believers who
live their life like the people of the world that is why the term 'sons of
the people' and not 'people' is used.

The Lord is warning Believers who know Him and are baptized in Him but yet
live a worldly life like the people of the world. The Lord is telling them
He will choke their finance and their social life and not only the world
will go against them but their situations also will go against them.

This message may not be for all but would be for a few whom the Lord is
talking to and if you are among those few you would surely know, for the
Spirit of God is right now awakening your gilt. It is time for you to
repent and be separated from the world and its way of life and live a life
holy unto God. God says unto you, you are my child so be holy for I am Holy.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray the people to whom this message is going out to today will
receive it in their spirit and this Word will cause them to repent and live
a life more holy unto You. We pray that they do not live for today, live a
life of this world, full of freshly desires but live for a life that is
eternal and of abundance, a life with You in Heaven. Lord, we pray that
your grace causes the consequence not to fall on them by changing their

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

3 And say to the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the
Lord GOD; Because thou saidst, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was
profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against
the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

4 Behold, therefore I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a
possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their
dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk.

5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a
couchingplace for flocks: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

6 For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thy hands, and
stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against
the land of Israel;

The Lord will touch their resources too

Jeremiah 52:24,25 - And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief
priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the
door: He took also out of the city an eunuch, who had the charge of the
men of war; and seven men of them that were near [bring to the face of] the
king's person [presence], who were found in the city; and the principal
scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and sixty men of
the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.

Today's message talks about King Zedekiah who displeased the Lord and the
Lord caused the king of Babylon to cause great disaster to Jerusalem and
caused the king of Babylon to take away all the riches of the city. Not
only the riches of the people but also of the Temple. They broke all that
was symbolic in the Temple and carried it to Babylon. Along with the riches
they also took along all the able people captive.

Today's message shows how they hunted for the subordinates of the king in
the city and took them captive to Babylon. This included the religious
people, the people responsible of the treasure of the king, the people who
introduced the people to the king, the general who was in charge of the
king's army including his secretary and the sixty governors of the king.

In today's message the Lord is saying when He was displeased with the King
Zedekiah He caused this disaster to fall on him. Zedekiah did not respect
the things of the Temple and took pride in things which did not belong to
him but belonged to the Lord. His boasting on things that belonged to the
Lord caused his destruction.

Yesterday we received a message about how people displease the Lord even
though they do the Lord's work. They take credit for their labor for they
work in the flesh. They do not realize, by themselves they can do nothing
and it is the grace of God that enables them.

When a person works being led in the Spirit of the Lord they see the Hand
of God in everything and never does pride comes into them.

The Lord is saying when He is displeased He will cause the authority of
these people to be taken away, He will also upset their finance, their
social lives, their safety and put their lives into disorder.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we prayer sense prevails in these people. Let their hearts repent and
change comes into their lives. We pray that more and more and led by your
Spirit and the world sees your mighty Hand...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Do not deceive the Lord

Malachi 1:14 - But cursed be the deceiver, who hath in his flock a male,
and voweth, and sacrificeth [kill] to the Lord a corrupt thing: for I am a
great [high] King, saith the LORD of hosts, and my name is terrible [fear /
dreadful] among the heathen [nations / people].

Today's message is an awesome message which I hope all especially those who
work for the Lord's Kingdom, read and understand.

We see many people doing great work in the Lord's name. They sacrifice
their family life, luxury and work hard to build churches. These people are
good people and not bad people yet the Lord does not approve of all of
them; one would wonder why?

The Lord is telling us whatever we try to make of ourselves yet we will
always lack in being perfect or will have failures within us. Even the best
of us will yet not be perfect.

The Lord is saying He is not of this world but one who is from above so His
standards are not worldly standards but Heavenly standards. The only
sacrifice that pleases Him is a righteous sacrifice and that the perfect
sacrifice was Jesus Christ.

In today's message the Lord is bluntly telling us when we sacrifice
ourselves or offer ourselves as a sacrifice to the Lord it does not please
Him. The Lord is saying He does not want us but Christ in us as a
sacrifice. We may think this is easy, sorry it is not easy. We need to
understand for Christ to be in us we need to put to death the 'I' in
ourselves, that means cease being the worldly us. It is only when we are
less of us that we can be more of Christ, today's message says the more we
have Christ in us, the more we please God.

When Nicodemus asked Jesus how He was so different from others, Jesus said
He was different for He knew [could see] the Kingdom of God, then Jesus
goes on to tell him how one can know or enter the Kingdom of God.

Most translations state one needs to be born-again to know or enter the
Kingdom of God. We have many Believers who call themselves as 'Bornagain
Christians', the sad part is there is no word like Bornagain in this
scripture, the Greek word translated as 'again' is the word 'anothen' which
actually means 'above'. Jesus actually said unless a person is not born
from above one will not know or enter the Kingdom of God. We read later
Jesus uses the word born of the Spirit.

When Jesus said we need to be immersed (baptized) in water and Spirit to
enter the Kingdom of God, He meant the same thing that is being born from
above. To be born from above one need to die to the flesh, being immersed
in water symbolizes our death to the flesh unless we do not die to the
flesh we cannot be born of the Spirit. Jesus says unless we are not born of
the Spirit we will not know nor enter the Kingdom of God. We also read Paul
says in Romans those who are led by the Spirit become Sons of God and John
1:12-13 says those who receive Him to them He gave the power to become Sons
of God and these are the ones who are not born of the flesh but born from

Jesus is not a name tag, an idol or a photo which we can keep with us,
honor and by doing this we will get to go to Heaven. To receive Him does
not mean to just believe in Him the Greek word means 'to take hold of' that
means to take hold of the Nature of Jesus. Unless we do not die to
ourselves and be more like Jesus till then we are not born of the Spirit.
Those who are born of the Spirit will be led by the Spirit to grow / mature
from children into Sons of God. Children of God do not go to Heaven but
only Sons of God do.

To become children and to grow from children into sons there are 2 things
one is being born in Spirit, this allows us to know the Kingdom of God and
second to be led by the Spirit that allows become like Christ, which means
receive back the Image of God, in other words become Sons of God.

We see when David entered Jerusalem as king he called it Zion which means a
'fortified city' even though there were no walls around the city. We also
see among the people whom he killed and did not allow enter the city were
Jebusites [symbolizing children of wrath], the blind and lame. It was not
that David had anything against them but this was symbolic to those who
will not get to enter Heaven. Bible says in other words those who have not
made peace with God [those who did not accepted Jesus as the peacemaker
between God and man], or are blind that means who do not know the Kingdom
of God and those who are lame that means those who are led by the Spirit of
God will not enter the Heavenly Jerusalem.

So let us who believe in Jesus Christ start to think less of 'I', die to
ourselves and let us be Jesus like that means do what He would do if He
were in our place, let us be led by His Spirit, that means ask the Spirit
of God for guidance in our daily walk in Him.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord You are Holy and You desire us too to be holy for nothing unholy can
dwell before You. We thank and praise You for You are a merciful God. In
your mercy You made a way for us to receive holiness. Lord we pray that
daily through knowing of the Truth and walking in Righteousness daily we
become more and more Christ like and become a pleasing sacrifice so as to
receive eternal life...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

To MountZion - Page 7 Empty Re: To MountZion

Post  Admin on Mon 29 Sep 2014, 10:16 pm

For today's message the Lord gave us just a word 'integrity' to meditate on
and this word 'integrity' is what we give a lot of importance in our lives.
In work area integrity issue is not forgiven and can cause immediate
termination of a person's services; in business integrity issue can call
for breaking of contracts and implementation of penalties.

According to worldly system lack of integrity in between a relationship
like husband and wife can lead to legal breakup of that relationship.

In the Bible we see the word integrity occurring 16 time in the Old
Testament but not even once in the New Testament. Some may say it means
honesty and that word is there in the New Testament. The word honesty
occurs only once in the New Testament in the letter of Timothy and the
Greek word actually speaks of dignity and not integrity.

When I saw this, a question came if integrity is such an important
characteristic for man then why is it not there in the New Testament. The
answer to the question came when I came to know what it really means.

The Hebrew word translated as integrity means completeness, fullness,
innocence or simplicity. The English word also come from the word integrate
which means to join together and thus when applied to a person it speaks of
what one is or the wholeness of that person.

When we use the words 'integrity issue' actually means dishonestly or
person not honestly doing something with all wholeness. Now think of how
many people do we know who are totally honest in everything they do or say,
in their work, in their business, in their relationship, in their
commitments etc. So all of us have an integrity issue for all have failed
some or other place in our lives or areas of our lives.

In the Old Testament we see this aspect is written for mankind lacked the
Spirit of God but after Pentecost we received the Spirit of God, so the
concept of integrity changes. In the Bible we see integrity only in Jesus
Christ for in Him alone we see the wholeness of the image of God, although
He being God the Son He humbled Himself and became a son of man yet was
called Son of God. We humans were made in the image of God but sin
corrupted this image and we lost our wholeness. We were made Sons of God
and due to sin we lost that position, Jesus came so that by His sacrifice
we are justified and we receive the Holy Spirit and by the working of the
Holy Spirit we be made whole again, that means gain back the status of
being Sons of God.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we did not know what or who we are because we did not know You. When
You Lord came as man Jesus we came to know You and then we came yo know who
we are ought to be for in Jesus we saw the whole image. Lord we pray your
Spirit works in us and makes us whole...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.

that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

Proverbs 20:7 The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are

1 Timothy 2:1-3

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet
and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty [dignity].

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

When God touches the finances

Hosea 9:1-3

1 Rejoice not, O Israel, for joy, as other people: for thou hast played
the harlot from thy God, thou hast loved a reward upon every threshingfloor.

2 The floor and the winepress shall not feed them, and the new wine shall
fail in her.

3 They shall not dwell in the LORD'S land; but Ephraim shall return to
Egypt, and they shall eat unclean things in Assyria.

In my previous message I spoke of how the RC Church had restricted the
translation of the Greek word baptism to English so that the true meaning
is not known to the people, that they would be able to continue their
ritual of pouring water and applying oil on an infant and call it
'baptism'. This way they also ensured people did not become Christians and
go to Heaven since Jesus said unless one is not baptized in Him and His
Spirit (Born Again) that person would not enter Heaven.

This issue of translation restricting understanding was not an issue only
with the Catholic Church but also with the Jewish Church. The Catholic
Church did this intentionally but the Jewish Church did out of ignorance or
lack of wisdom (Spirit of God/Spirit of Truth). We see many places they did
not translate Hebrew or Aramaic words for they were also names of places,
like it is in today's scripture. This causes people to think the scripture
is about that era or people of that place but fail to understand the
scripture is valid even today and refers or symbolizes spiritual things.

When God touches the finances of the people there are 2 things that happen,
one is an exceptional increase or on the other hand a great recession.

In today's message the Lord is saying He sees people are so lost is storing
worldly wealth and enjoying worldly pleasures. He is saying He is going to
cause a recession to come on the people. They will struggle to meet their
ends. Like the Lord said in Deuteronomy when His people sin they will come
under submission of the Heathens and the Heathens will dominate them, the
same is what the Lord says will happen.

In the following scriptures the Lord uses harsh words and brings the truth
out. He uses words like fools for the people who call themselves Prophets
and mad for those who have made themselves spiritual leaders.

When one has a true understanding of scriptures and sees the things going
around in the name of Christianity one wonders what has their doings to do
with the Word of God or with Jesus Christ. Many a time their understanding
or traditions are not just far from the Truth but at opposite poles from
the Truth. One can see Satan has more control over them than God does. They
may look to be good people by the world but their evil is not hidden from

gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of
Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more
two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at

23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor
with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I
will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, in which they have sinned,
and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

People see the destructions happening around and think the end will come
and Jesus Christ will come soon. They do not realize Jesus said all these
will happen but do not think the end is at hand for the end will come like
a thief.

A thief does not come when people are expecting him but when people least
expect him or when they are off guard / asleep. Between the turmoil and
Jesus coming (Judgment Day) are 2 periods the Church goes through one is
when all people come together and become one, they grow in knowledge and
understanding in the Lord, the glory of God is see among the people. After
this stage comes the period of great deceit (the false prophet) when evil
will come in the form of good, this is the time people become spiritually
asleep, discernment is totally lost, a time when the chip (666) gets
embedded into the people and the people become remote controlled toys
living a life based on logic, where there is no robbery, no murder, no
violence for the chip will control these emotions. Since it will work on
logic it will also control love and faith and they will ceases to exist, so
relationships and fellowship will also not exist. They will be helpless to
this chip because all commerce and personal identification globally will be
based on this chip which will be part of the human body. This is the time
when rapture happens and when Satan (Lucifer) is released.

I like to also bring to light that it does not mean when the Church comes
in glory there will be no turmoil. If one understands the book of
Revelations is shows flow of events happening parallel to each other like
the colored horses (worldly phrases) and the seven stages of the Church
happening together. It also shows internally one stage does not stop
immediately when the next stage starts, but many a times the stages overlap.

Today's message talks of the Church moving soon to the sixth stage, where
all denominations coming together and work as one. The Lord is saying His
people will set aside their differences and start focusing on His purpose
of reaching out to the unsaved and building them in Him.

If you step out of the typical Church hall and connect with those working
in the Kingdom of God you will see this happening, even though very little
but it is gradually growing. This the Lord says today, He will accelerate
and soon we will see it manifest, no longer people will ask which
denomination for they will know us simply as a Christian, as a Believer,
Christ as our Head with His Spirit leading us.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we thank You that we are blessed to see these days of the great
harvest when your people come together and become one and this Lord we know
pleases You. Lord, we also know when You are pleased You add unto your
people. We once again thank You for your favor on us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 24:6-13, 43-44

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and
there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and
ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and
shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-10

1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and by our gathering together to him,

himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what restraineth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now

he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that

8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no
man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word,
and hast not denied my name.

9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are
Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship
before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee
from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try
them that dwell upon the earth.

11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man
take thy crown.

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and
he shall go out no more: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and
the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down
out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.

14 And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things
saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the
creation of God;

15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert
cold or hot.

16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will
spue thee out of my mouth.

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need
of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and
poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be
rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of
thy nakedness may not appear; and anoint thy eyes with eyesalve, that thou
mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man shall hear my voice,
and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he
with me.

21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me on my throne, even
as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father on his throne.

22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.

Visa and Green Card to Heaven

Mark 3:13 - And he goeth up upon a mountain, and calleth to him whom he
would: and they came to him.

Today early morning as I got up I was thinking about our worldly Visa
system and how it relates to the Kingdom of God, then as I sat to write
today's message I got this message from the Lord!

We read in today's message Jesus called those whom He would and they came
to Him. In the Word of God Jesus says unless the Father reveals the Son to
the person, the person will not know the Son and unless the Son reveals the
Holy Spirit to the person, the person would not know the Spirit. That is
why Jesus said baptize (immerse) people in the knowledge and understanding
first of the Father, then the Son and then the Holy Spirit.

If we talk about Jesus to people who worship many gods or are idol
worshipers then even if they accept Him, He will become another deity among
their many deities. So before we tell people about Jesus we need to tell
people about God the Father and about who He is, His Nature and how it is
impossible to go to Him, then we need to tell them about the Son and how He
becomes the way to the Father.

Most Christians think by believing in Jesus one can go to Heaven. Let me
explain it in the worldly Visa system. As an Indian I cannot go to USA
unless I get a Visa from that country and for that I need to have a
passport. Passport is hope / faith and hope allows me to believe in God,
Jesus is like the Visa and without Visa I cannot go to USA. A blank
Passport is hope and a stamped Passport is faith, but to get it stamped I
first need to get a Visa. Gospel of Jesus Christ is an application for the
Visa and believing in Him is like getting the Visa in hand. But to dwell
permanently in USA I need to have a Green card and the Holy Spirit our
Green card of Heaven. In the worldly system the process to get the Green
card I first need a Visa, having a Visa I can apply for Green card. All
those who hold a Visa do not automatically get a Green card only those who
have a desire to dwell in that country can apply for it, and the most
important part is they need to abide by the rules of that country to be a
citizen of that country. The Word of God is the Law of God and without
confirming one would abide by the Law one would not be given a Green card.

Like in today's message Jesus called those He would, His call is like a
Visa application that comes from the Kingdom of God, so those who have
faith (Passport) can apply, get hold of the Visa and come to Him. Let us
also remember if we just want to enjoy for a short time the blessings of
the Kingdom of God we can stay put with just the Visa, but if we want to
stay forever in the Kingdom of God we need to get hold of the Green card
and the Bible says all who hold a Visa the Green card is promised, all they
need to do is apply and get hold of it.

There is one catch, unlike the worldly system, in this world a person can
have a dual citizenship (NRI) but in the Kingdom of God we cannot have a
dual citizenship. So we need to be ready to give up our earthly citizenship
so as to get a permanent citizenship in Heaven. When one dies those who do
not hold a Visa are punished for their sins but those who hold a Visa,
since they hold a Visa are forgiven of their sins but on Judgment day if
they do not have a Green card, they are punished for holding a Visa and not
valuing it. This punishment is many times worse than the punishment those
not holding a Visa got. Those who hold a Green card are the only ones that
get to enter Heaven. That is why Jesus said unless one is baptized in Him
and in the Holy Spirit one would not get to enter Heaven. By believing in
Him they will be saved from Hell but that does not mean they get to go to

Some may think if we who are believe in Lord Jesus Christ are not punished
for our sins, then we can sin as much as we want. Understand all those who
hold a Green card will automatically hate sin, even if they try, sin and
Holy Spirit will not stay together in that person for long the Holy Spirit
will automatically make that person to hate sin and overcome sin. By any
chance that person does let sin win, then he or she has overcome the Lord
(grieved the Holy Spirit) and such a person has no hope at all.

When the Bible was translated into English the Catholic Church had great
influence on the translators so the Greek word baptism / baptizo (I
baptize) was not translated into English and kept that way so that the
ritual of the Catholic church of pouring water and applying oil on the head
on an infant would still be considered as baptism. Think if one replaces
every place in the Bible the Greek word 'baptism' with its English meaning
'immerse' then all those scriptures will automatically have another
meaning. This will enlighten a person about the difference between applying
for a Visa or Green card and holding on to a Visa or Green card.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray all those who hold a Passport (have faith) may receive the
Visa (Gospel of Jesus Christ) and after receiving the Visa they apply for a
Green card and they do not just apply but get hold of them...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Speaking in Visions

Psalms 89:19 - Then thou didst speak in vision to thy holy one, and didst
say, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen
out of the people.

Let me take today's scripture without the italic (words added to make the
English better).

Psalms 89:19 - Then thou didst speak in vision to thy holy one [saints],
and didst say, I have laid help upon mighty; I have exalted chosen [elect]
out of the people.

Today's message does not speak about the Lord speaking in visions to an
individual but it speaks about the Lord speaking in visions to many people
which are chosen and called as elect in the Bible. These people the Lord
refers to as His mighty ones. Bible also says in the end days more and more
of His elect would come in this world, so there will be many Moses, Davids,
Elijahs, Jeremiahs, Daniels etc...

In the New Testament in the book of Acts we read when Peter spoke to the
people after the 120 were immersed (baptized) in the Holy Spirit, he starts
with a reference to the scripture of Joel stating the young men shall see
visions and the elders will dream dreams.

I stated before there is a difference between the terms visions and dreams
as used here. One refers to an abstract view and the other a detailed
multidimensional view. If one studies how the Lord explained events to
Daniel, Joseph (OT) and John of Revelation one would see a standard
symbolization in all of them, this will help one to learn to interpret
visions and dreams.

In today's message the people referred as saints speaks of every Believer
growing in the Lord and those referred to as elect refers to those whom
Joel calls as elders people matured in the Lord. The Lord has promised He
would speak to us and asks us to take up this promise with Him, we may be
growing in the Lord or ones who are mature in the Lord either way God said
He would speak to us.

If a few mighty one in the Old Testament could shake nations, then why we
living in a time where many such mighty ones are to dwell among us are not
doing more?

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You said and You fulfilled for You Lord are keeper of your Word.
Today Lord You are reminding us of your promise and we hold You Lord on
your promise. We pray we start to hear You speak to us in visions and
dreams. Father we your children desire to have a clear understanding of
your Will so speak to us...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Acts 2:14-17

14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said
unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this
known unto you, and hearken to my words:

15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third
hour of the day.

16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;

17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out
of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall
dream dreams:

Not knowing the mind of the Lord yet having the mind of the Lord
1 Corinthians 2:16 - For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
In today’s message the words translated as ‘mind’ refers to ‘understanding’ and the word translated as ‘instruct’ refers to ‘putting together’ or ‘knitting together’. So today’s message says who knows the understanding of the Lord that we put it together to say this is it, but yet we have the understanding of Christ who is the perfect manifestation of the Lord in the flesh.
Today’s message tells us to understand Lord, we need to understand Christ and when we are baptized in Him and His Spirit, then we become one in Him and become like Him thus we too start to think the way Christ thinks or the Lord thinks.
Every time we are in any situation we need to know we have Christ in us that means, His nature, His mind is in us, so we should stop thinking or behaving the way we would and start to think or behave the way Christ would.
Today onwards let us stop being ourselves that means the person this world has made, the person our situations has made, the person our experiences has made, the person our disappointments has made, the person our disabilities has made, the person our incompetence has made and start thinking and acting the way the Lord would through our union in Christ.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord Jesus You became the physical manifestation of the Father for us. Seeing and knowing You we come to know the Father. Lord we pray as we have become one with You the more and more of You take over us and the corrupt part of us cease to exist. Lord we ask where are You but fail to understand in us You exist. We pray we see less of ourselves and see more of You in us...
This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Romans 6:3-6
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
2 Corinthians 5:16-17
16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.
17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Stand on your feet and the Lord will speak to you

Ezekiel 2:1 - And he said to me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I
will speak to thee.

In the Bible we see statutes like washing of feet before entering the place
of worship, kneeling or laying them flat (lying on the floor) while praying
/ worshiping and we also read of event like Jesus washed the feet of His
disciples at the 'Last Supper'. We read laws like a person would die if
they entered the Tabernacle without washing their feet.

Without getting deeper into theology, our feet symbolize our lives. When we
remove our footwear we come before God as we are in spirit and not as we
made ourselves in this world; that is why the Tabernacle was made into
sections where access was according to calling not according to social
status yet all who entered the Holy place had to wash their hands and feet
before entering. Washing of feet symbolizes forgiveness of ones sins before
coming in the presence of the Lord. These sins are sins of guilt, which one
has done unknowingly through one's life.

One would ask questions like how can I be guilty for what I do not know and
what is the meaning of washing of hands for they had to also wash their
hands before entering the Tabernacle?

We need to remember that we are growing in the Lord and there are lots we
do not know and due to our ignorance there are many mistakes we make
unknowingly in life. So we need to humble ourselves and ask Lord for
forgiveness for these sins for in spirit we will know we are unworthy
before Him. Jesus washed the feet of His disciples so as to prepare them to
eat the Bread which was a sacrifice for guilt so that through Him we can
approach God with confidence. This sacrifice Jesus said to do regularly for
He knows how weak we are.

Washing of hands is forgiveness of sins which one has done knowingly. We
see Jesus did not wash the hands of any of His disciples for no one can
wash another's hands and one needs to wash one's own hands their own self.
Yes, Jesus had the authority to forgive sins and so also every Man of God
has authority to forgive sins, for Jesus said to His disciples 'what you
set free on earth will be set free in Heaven' but then too the person has
to stretch out one's hands forward for another to wash. So we can ask God
to forgive us and if we are having problem to approach God or to
communicate with Him then we can ask a Man of God to do so on behalf of the
Lord. One need to wash one's hands before one washes one's feet.

In today's message the Lord is telling us get hold of our lives if we
desire Him to speak to us.

Let me give an example if we do not appreciate and thank God for the life
He has given us, can we love Him or even claim to do so? If we smoke or
drink alcohol or abuse our bodies in any way, and not take care of it then
can we say God we love this life You have given us and we thank You for it?

We need to take care not only of our physical bodies but more so of our
spiritual bodies. Like we are called to feed healthy food to our physical
bodies so also we should feed good things to our spiritual bodies. Worldly
knowledge is like junk food to our spirits, a little once in a while may
not harm a person but regular dose of junk food will. True spiritual food
is the Word of God and knowledge of the Kingdom of God so regular dose of
it is necessary. Like just eating good food does not make us strong; to be
strong we need to exercise it, so also when we eat spiritual food we need
to exercise it (live it) to grow our spiritual bodies into strong bodies.

Like we need to know how much we can stretch our physical bodies so also we
need to know the same with our spiritual bodies. God commands that we rest
when we need to. We should not think we are ones who do God's work or
provide for ourselves in the natural. We need to remember it is He who does
things through us and it is He who provides for us and we or other people
are just vessels, so sometimes it is good to rest in Him. That is this
reason He gave us a commandment, to take a period of rest from our works
(both spiritual and natural). If we keep rest without understanding why
then that rest is useless. In the Old Testament when people did not have
the Spirit of Lord they followed the natural system (calendar) but now we
who are led by the Spirit should be tuned to the Spirit as to when we rest
and when we work and we see this in Jesus He worked and rested not
according to the time of day but according the Spirit of God leading Him.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray we grow in discernment and what we feed our bodies not only
spiritually but also physically. Help us to understand the harm things do
for us when we take it in us and make it a part of us. Lord we pray You
give us the courage to say NO when we need to say NO and help us seek the
things which are good for us. Help us also to exercise our bodies so as be
fit physically and spiritually...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

If they are ashamed show them this temple

Ezekiel 43:11 - And if they will be ashamed of all that they have done,
show them the form of the house [temple], and the fashion of it, and its
exits, and its entrances, and all its forms, and all its ordinances, and
all its forms, and all its laws: and write it in their sight, that they may
keep its whole form, and all its ordinances, and do them.

I have shared before about Ezekiel chapters 40 - 43 being the schematic
diagram of the inner-man / heart. It is like a model heart for sinner man
who needs salvation.

We know the battle of good and bad, right and wrong all happens in the
inner-man / heart, so it is very important to understand the inner-man.

Today's scripture tells us as to whom to give this insight or teach about
the inner-man. The Lord is saying only those who are ashamed of their
sinful life, of what they are, are the ones whom we can teach about the
inner-man which the Lord wants. We also know that Jesus was the
manifestation of the Nature of God in the flesh so if we repent for our
sinful nature then we can look at Jesus and know what God desires us to be.
But the problem is the basics about Jesus are recorded in the Gospels and
to learn deeper about Him we need to go to the Old Testament, i.e. to know
His Heart we need to study the structure of the books of Moses & Psalms and
then move on to Ezekiel 40-43. We see Paul too did that, even though He
preached about Jesus, people opened the scriptures (Old Testament) to
confirm his teachings.

The Lord is telling us today if we struggling with our old-man the man that
loves this world, sin and desires of this world and we want to overcome
this old-man then look at the schematic diagram of the model inner-man and
set our hearts right. We may have difficulty to understand Ezekiel 40-43 so
we can start with imitating Jesus and soon the Holy Spirit will open this
understanding to us.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, our spirit desires You but our flesh desires this corrupt world and
the pleasures of this world. We pray Lord that your Flesh (desires) be our
flesh and that we be more and more like You - your Sons. We pray Lord we
change from within and be born-again into a new creature that this world
has no hold over and one who has the authority and power in You a true
Israel - a Prince of God...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

He came from Above

John 3:31 - He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth
is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above

It is beautiful when we understand creation and the principals of it. It
lets to understand salvation in its true sense and the Nature of God, His
Love, His Mercy, His Righteousness etc...

Good theologians go for a toss when I put scriptures like Acts 27:23-24
before them and ask them to explain this to me keeping mind Acts 23:11.

People do not know the meaning of what the Lord did when it is written He
humbled Himself and became man. They also do not know when the Lord humbled
Himself for it is written He became a sacrifice in the beginning;
‘beginning of what?’.

Today’s message tells us He came from above therefore is above all. What we
need to understand is also if He came from above and became one like us
then where did we come from?

People do not have the clear understanding of what mankind is, how mankind
was created and how the whole of mankind is rolled out until the end of
time, that is end of this world, therefore they do not know the true
purpose of life here on earth. Many think since all mankind was created by
God and that God is merciful therefore all mankind has a great chance to be
saved and go to Heaven.

Humans are like seed which when planted in the soil and receive water they
sprout and grow into a plant and then into a tree. The seed could be kept
for long periods of time and only on it being planted it would sprout and
come alive. Life of the plant would start only after it sprouts even though
life was there in that seed even before it sprouted. Bible says the seed
are assigned to the father that means all the generations to come from a
man are already assigned to that man even before he is born, therefore we
read scriptures like ‘Lord blessed the generations in the loins of an XYZ
person’. The womb of a mother is like the earth in which the seed is
planted and sprouts into life. We say a plant of that garden or field for
it is the place where the seed has been planted.

In the case of Jesus He had no human father since the Lord the Son (a part
of the Father and a individual by Himself) humbled Himself and through the
power of the Holy Spirit became a seed that was planted in the womb of a
virgin; this was the world first surrogacy birth since no human father was
involved and there was no human relationship. By human scientific
chromosomes study a woman by herself cannot give birth to a son, but a girl
is possible even if it is one in a trillion possibilities. That is why we
see Jesus although referred to Mary as His mother yet spoke to her directly
using the term ‘Woman’. That is why Paul referred to Him as ‘without father
and without mother’ in Hebrew 7:2-3 yet He was called a seed of Abraham but
existed before Abraham, was not in Abraham and also spoke to Abraham.

These so called mysteries of creation are really not mysteries if we just
not look at creation but see and understand life through them like Job did,
even before any book of the Bible was written.

It is high time the nonsense doctrines of pagan beliefs that got induced in
Christianity via the Catholic Church find their right place in the dustbin
and the knowledge and understanding of the Kingdom of God is made known to
God’s people.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, the world does not know You or the power of your Kingdom because they
are filled with worldly knowledge and understanding. Satan the prince of
this understanding still has a control on your people thus makes the battle
of the Old man and New man very difficult for your people. Lord we pray
more and more tuned to your Spirit and just not hear but listen to Him and
grow in faith...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

be thine heir.

5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and

and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

mine hour is not yet come.

Why were the women searching for His body?

Luke 24:22, 23 - Yea, and certain women also of our company made us
astonished, who were early at the sepulchre; And when they found not his
body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who
said that he was alive.

In Jesus’ ministry there was a team of women who always followed Him and
main among them had the name ‘Mary’, they included His mother Mary, His
aunt Salome (Mary’s sister and mother of John and James) whom He also named
Mary and Mary the Magdalene whose name was not Mary but was named Mary by
Jesus. Jesus named the later 2 women Mary for He respected them and loved
them as His own mother.

What will surprise people is among these 3 the leader / fore runner was not
His mother Mary but was Mary the Magdalene who loved Him the most, even
greater than His own mother and we hear this from the mouth of Jesus when
He said who was forgiven the most loves the most. Mary the Magdalene was
not a young women like put in a fiction book but was an elderly women who
lived a life of prostitution and suffered of many spirits. She was saved
from being stone (theologians believe she was the woman whom the Pharisees
wanted to stone and whom Jesus saved) and delivered from spirits. She being
of age was given respect like that of a mother by Jesus, with all this
background we can see why she was always ahead of all the other women.

In today’s message we read this troop of women who were considered very
strong in faith went to the tomb with spices which they had prepared the
previous 2 days and did not find the body. Their desire to do the task they
came for was so great that even though an Angel appeared to them yet they
did not give a heed so much to the Angel(s). In the Bible we see when an
Angel appeared the person would be overwhelmed by their presence so much so
that they would go on their all fours. I had a personal experience of
presence of Angels and this was at an event ‘Be Still’ conducted for the
youth and we could see the glory of God that filled the place. I personally
did not have the strength to stand and so became weak in the knees that I
had to come down to my knees. Each and every one in that hall was crying
and crying for they were being healed and rebuild from the inside.

Imagine here these women were not having just a visual of the Angels but
were able to talk to Them yet they did not give much heed to Them but were
more obsessed to find where the body was. They did not remember Jesus’
words that He would rise on the third day but were reminded of it by the
Angels. One would understand what made them not to experience so much the
glory and purpose of God if one understands why they were searching for the

In the Old Testament we do not read anywhere God telling the Israelites of
embalming of dead people. It was not Jewish custom to embalm a body. The
Jews had induced this tradition from pagan religious beliefs of the
Egyptians when they were in exile in Egypt before Moses. This influx of
traditions from religious beliefs among the Jews was prominent in Galilee
thus the orthodox Jews believed never a Prophet would arise from Galilee.

People may say God gave some traditions to follow. In the New Testament the
Apostles did not give traditions for the word doctrine is translated as
traditions in 2 Thessalonians 2:15. In the Old Testament God used the words
statutes and not traditions. Statutes and traditions are 2 different
things. Statutes are things that God tells us to do to bring us to the
understanding of the hidden things thus to increase ones faith. For example
festivals were activities God asked the Israelites to do as statutes mainly
for the ‘children of Israel’ so that they understand what they represent in
its time (all the main ones were related to Jesus Christ). We also see Paul
in his mission was to be witness among others to the ‘children of Israel’
during a time when the term ‘Jews’ was used for them, so the term was not
for children of Jacob (the Jews) but for those of spiritual Israel and
growing in the Lord. Once the understanding of why it is done is known then
the person is not under any obligation to continue in it, other than for
others to know. Statutes are thus not binding forever on an individual but
need to be handed down generations to those growing up spiritually.

We see even after Jesus spending time with them and teaching them for more
than 3 years yet traditions still had a hold on these women. The hold was
so great that the glory that surrounded these Angels was not experienced so
much by them even though they were in the presence of them. Later the holds
of traditions over them were broken only after they received the Holy
Spirit and grew in understanding.

Today the Lord is telling us many among us are bound with traditions that
are induced from pagan beliefs and to break free from them we need to be
baptized in the Holy Spirit. Baptism is not like taking a pill once and is
done but is like an antibiotic course which requires a number of days of
taking of pills regularly at its scheduled time according to the infection
that is to be healed and if a person breaks the course the person needs to
start all over again and may be a stronger dose.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray this bondage of traditions be broken from the necks of your
people, that they be set free from these bondages that lead them to death.
We pray they understand statutes better and understand their purposes. That
they grow in spirit and truth of your Word, its purpose and your Spirit...

We make this prayer in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Matthew 28:2-8

2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord
descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door,
and sat upon it.

3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know
that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.

6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where
the Lord lay.

7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead;
and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo,
I have told you.

8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy;
and did run to bring his disciples word.

Luke 24:1-7

1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came
unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and
certain others with them.

3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus.

4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two
men stood by them in shining garments:

5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they
said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?

6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was
yet in Galilee,

7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men,
and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Zephaniah 1:14-18

14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteneth greatly,
even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there

15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of
wasting and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds
and thick darkness,

16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fortified cities, and
against the high towers.

17 And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind
men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be
poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in
the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the
fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them
that dwell in the land [world / nations].

As the world sees destruction and disasters everywhere in the world, people
are thinking the end is near and soon Jesus will come again. The Bible
talks of 2 periods of destructions (Day of the Lord), one period of
destruction just after the rapture, about the time Lucifer is released and
before Jesus comes with His Chosen Angels, the second period of destruction
is what is written in today's message.

The scripture given says what all will happen.

1) It says the mighty man - meaning those who are well to do or in power
will cry bitterly

2) There will be trouble and distress everywhere.

3) There will be ravage and destruction everywhere.

4) There will be hopelessness and wickedness everywhere.

5) It will be a period of gloom and hopelessness.

6) People who though they were safe will not be safe and specially those
who are well to do will be most in danger.

7) People will do things without direction and making many mistakes.

8) People will die in large numbers and their deaths will be mean nothing
and their body will rot with none to claim them.

9) Desires of people will be fruitless thoughts so much so that they will
find it useless to think about them.

10) All their riches of this world or their spiritual knowledge,
understanding or status will not deliver them from this period.

11) The whole world will be engulfed with anger and hatred of zealous
religious men.

12) There will be large number of deaths not only by man killing man but
also by the 'hand of God' like natural disasters or unprecedented

If we look at this and read papers we can say we have entered this period.

What the Lord likes us to know today is the reason why; and the scripture
says because 'they have sinned against the Lord'.

People may be think it is because sin has increased that is why; but sin
has been there since long, it is not that robberies or rapes have
increased. No doubt we read them more in newspaper but they existed even
before but now are being reported more. One should understand the term God
uses and it 'says against the Lord'. If we look at 10 Commandments half
were towards God and half towards man. So here when the Lord says 'sinned
against the Lord' it means those which are going against the Commandments
that are towards God.

We see in the Bible when people unified their pagan beliefs like in the
tower of Babel (it was a high temple of all gods in one temple) or the wall
of Jericho (it had a row of pagan temples between it's the two parallel
walls that protected the city), we see God Himself intervened and destroyed
them. We also see when people together spoke against God and His elect or
fornicates with Holy things of God, God set His fiery on them. Today we see
there is great zeal by various religions and this zeal is growing day by
day. We also see on the other hand there is an undercurrent of mutual
understanding running between various religions of the world they are
coming together in understanding. Both these may seem opposite but look
around both are growing.

We also see another kind of growth that is an abuse of the image of God in
man which is sexual abuses like homosexuality and mocking of the genders in
which God created man.

If we need to set things right let us understand from today's message the
reason and work towards restricting and reducing if not eradicating these
evils that go against God and His Holy things.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray that your people wake up to the reason of these destructions
and disasters that are happening around us. Let them know the true reason
and work the true solution so as to make peace with You. Let there be
courage like that of Phinehas who took charge and stopped the fiery from
consuming God's people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Numbers 25:1-12

1 And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom
with the daughters of Moab.

2 And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods: and the
people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.

3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was
kindled against Israel.

4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang
them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD
may be turned away from Israel.

5 And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that
were joined unto Baalpeor.

6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his
brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all
the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the
door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw
it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand;

8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of
them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So the
plague was stayed from the children of Israel.

9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.

10 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned
my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake
among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy.

12 Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him my covenant of peace:

Numbers 21:5-6

5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye
brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread,
neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the
people; and much people of Israel died.

The sign of Jonah

Matthew 12:39 - But he answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous
generation seeketh for a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but
the sign of the prophet Jonah:

I have seen people talk of the sign of Jonah without understanding the
basics of what it means. In today’s message the Lord asks us to beware of
the sign of Jonah.

If one takes the literate translation it opens one’s eyes to what Jesus was

Matthew 12:39 - But he answering said to them: generation so evil [that
labors in the flesh / are bad in natural] and adulterous a sign seeks, and
a sign shall not be given to it except the sign of Jonah the Prophet.

To understand this scripture one need to understand the belief of the Jews
at that time with regards to Jonah being in the belly of the fish, secondly
we need to know to whom this sign is and why. We also see the Jews and the
Romans understood what Jesus meant therefore the guards were ordered to
guard until the third day and not after the third day.

Jesus said this sign of Jonah was for people of these 2 natures, one who
are ‘evil’ [this Greek word ‘poneros’ dies not means satanic evil but more
those who do evil works] it referred here to those who are religious or
self-righteous, for they are the ones who laboured to be good even though
they knew their good was evil. Secondly Jesus used the term adulterous
people. If one reads the Old Testament we see God uses this term [or the
word prostitutes] to those who run after other gods. We also need to
understand it is not the unbelievers who acknowledged Jonah as a Prophet so
the sign was not for them. So this sign in short is for those who believe
in the one Living God (Jews and Christians) but are religious and

You may ask why Jonah being in the fish’s belly for 3 days was a sign.

Actually this sign is a terrible curse of eternal [very long] suffering and
for that one needs to understand spirit life and the period man lives. When
we die our body dies but our spirit lives. Our spirit does not live
eternally (does not have eternal life in himself) for this ability is only
in God (which He also gave His Son for the Son is a part of Him). For man
to live eternally man needs to have access to the Tree of Life which is in
Heaven (this is not a literate tree but symbolic for man to understand).
Beings in Heaven eat of this Tree of Life only when they need to that is
when they come unto near the end of their life term (that is why Adam who
had access to this Tree in Paradise did not eat of it when he had the
access before he sinned).

One would know of this period of human spirit life from many (least 3)
incidents in the scriptures like why Jesus came in time to keep His promise
to Noah (a little before 3000years from the time of Noah) and how the souls
from the time of Noah, who had gone to Hell were saved (Peter does not talk
of the souls before Noah being there in Hell for they did not hear and be
saved), there are also other confirmations of this period in scriptures.

The Jews (especially the Pharisees and other religious Jews who asked this
question to Jesus) had not received grace even though they believed in the
same God, for they refused to believe or understand God’s Word. They
believed in working their salvation through works of righteousness even
though they did not have a clear idea on the parameters of righteousness of
God for they did not know God. They also had / have other gods before the
Lord, like they have Moses as a god even though they call him just a
Prophet. You would see this by the fact they stoned Stephen to death for
blaspheme mainly against Moses and then against God. Blaspheme is not a
term used against defaming a man but only against defaming God.

We have a large among of ‘Christians’ who talk of grace through Jesus
Christ but still believe in works of righteousness like the Jews. They too
like the Jews are sunk in the swamp of traditions which chokes their
spiritual discernment and makes them into spiritual zombies. They too like
the Jews have other gods/goddesses whom they have put above the Lord.

The Lord has given this message today for these ‘Christians’ are
celebrating the birthday of their goddess and the Lord wants them to know
that He is seeing what they are doing. He is telling them terrible things
await them and also the Jews. When Jesus comes again they will not be taken
to Heaven to have eternal life but will live their ‘3 days’ [in Hebrew the
word for ‘day’ means a period of time and Jesus was referring to the Hebrew
text] in the belly of death like Jonah the Prophet. They will not escape
this spiritual death which is worst then anything imaginable. To get an
idea of how terrible it is one need to understand the basics of God and the
Kingdom of God.

God has given life [a term to live] to the spirit of man when He created
man and what He gives He does not take back. Like blessings of Abraham is
always there for us [who believe in the Lord] and is never taken away from
us even when we sin greatly. It is only that sin causes us not be able to
reach the blessings that exists and on the other hand repentance causes us
to overcome the distance our sins had created and thus lets us reach the
blessings. In the same way our spirit lives its thousands of years life
even after our earthly death but for those thrown in the Lake of Fire this
life continues to live even though it is choked with sufferings that it
goes through in the Lake of Fire / Sulfur, and this suffering is even worse
than Hell where the unbelievers suffer their sins. But here in the Lake of
Fire they suffer not for their sins but for rejecting God’s Word and His
Son. Bible says it is so terrible that it was made for the fallen angels
and not for man. We also need to remember the window of repentance ceases
to exist for the spirit in the Lake of Fire thus said to be an eternal

[Prayer Starter]
Lord in your Word it is written the fallen angels hear your Name and
tremble but foolish man dares to defy your Name without fear for they are
hardened in heart and ignorant of You and your wrath which You have held
back for its time. Lord, we pray this message reaches those who are doing
this and that they repent from their ways and turn to You, for You are
merciful to those who turn to You...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

the people, He is risen from the dead: and the last error will be worse
than the first.

Revelation 2:11 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith

John 5:26 - For as the Father hath life in himself, even so gave he to the
Son also to have life in himself:

blasphemous words against Moses, and God.

The Lord prefers a donkey on which no one sat on

Luke 19:30 - (AV) Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the
which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man
sat: loose him, and bring him hither.

When Jesus told His disciples to go into the village and as they entered
they would find young donkey (a donkey and its young one) on which no one
sat. Unless one has knowledge of donkeys the person would not be able to
know which donkey Jesus was talking of. Imagine asking the donkey 'did any
one sit on you?' The disciple did go and they did find such a young donkey
(with its parent) and bought them both to Jesus.

When I searched information on donkeys I found a donkey was saddled for
travel only when it was 2years of age for that was the time it could
comfortably carry a man's weight. So this young donkey was not yet saddled
for it was less than 2 years of age.

When they bought both these donkeys to Jesus, the disciples put their coats
on the young one since it was not saddled and Jesus sat on the young one
even though there was a bigger adult donkey there which was already
saddled. When Jesus entered the city the people waiting for Jesus were
amused to see such a sight and then they realized Jesus was fulfilling a
prophecy. In today's world it would be like a grown man sitting on a small
child's tricycle while tugging along an adult cycle. We would say this
person is a fool he should have sat on the adult cycle and tugged the
tricycle along. The Lord did not do this just to make a sight for the
people but did this to make a sight of His enemies. You will ask how?

The enemies of God are those who hate Him and to make them a sight God
prefers to use young donkeys on which no one sat on. In spiritual sense it
means on which there is no other god or gods, the Lord prefers such a
donkey since they are not bounded.

When there are other gods in our lives they bind us in bondages, these
bondages could be spiritual bondages like religion and worldly
righteousness or could be natural bondages like traditions and worldly
values. Only those who do not have these bondages are those on whom the
Lord desires to be seated on and use for His Kingdom, to show His glory.

Today the Lord is telling us if we have any kind of god or goddesses seated
on us, let us cast these gods or goddesses off and let us free ourselves
from their bondages. Let us be renewed as young donkeys, we may not be
ready to handle the work that the Lord has set for us like the young donkey
was not ready to carry the weight of Jesus, yet it did even if it struggled
but the people welcomed him by throwing their robes before it on the ground
and waving palm leaves at it. Surely they did do this for the donkey, this
did all this for Jesus who was seated on him but know the donkey also
enjoyed all this because the Lord was seated on him.

If we too want to be like the young donkey to be used by the Lord, to
glorify Him in this world, let us cast off people (dead or alive) or
objects that we have made gods or goddess in our lives, we need to cast off
things or habits that rule our lives, we also need to cast off desires of
this world like riches, worldly knowledge, status or power which we have
put over God.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord God You are a Holy God and You desire us to be holy for You are holy.
Lord, we pray we become like the young donkey You sat on, free of all
bondage. Even though we are not in a position to do the work You set for us
we know with You all things are possible...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Luke 19:29-37

29 And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at
the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,

30 Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your
entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him,
and bring him hither.

31 And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto
him, Because the Lord hath need of him.

32 And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said
unto them.

33 And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them,
Why loose ye the colt?

34 And they said, The Lord hath need of him.

35 And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the
colt, and they set Jesus thereon.

36 And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.

37 And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of
Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise
God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;

Matthew 21:1-7

1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and came unto Bethphage, unto
the mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

2 saying unto them, Go into the village that is over against you, and
straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and
bring them unto me.

3 And if any one say aught unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of
them; and straightway he will send them.

4 Now this is come to pass, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken
through the prophet, saying,

5 Tell ye the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, Meek,
and riding upon an ass, And upon a colt the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went, and did even as Jesus appointed them,

7 and brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their garments; and
he sat thereon.

Make the anthropous sit down

Acts 6:10 - And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass
in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

In the Old Testament especially in the Books of Moses we see when the Lord
counted His people only the men were counted not the women or the children
but in the New Testament we see when the people around Jesus were counted
the men, women and children, all were counted. In the English translation
it says men but it actually refers to all. The word used here is anthropous
which is noun - plural - object and refers to mankind / humans (not aner
used for man). It is the word from which comes the term anthropology used
for study of mankind.

Many people do not understand genders therefore do not understand why in
the Old Testament there were differentiation between men and women but in
the New Testament we see that difference getting removed totally. In the
New Testament we see there were women who were referred to as Prophetess
and some also ran Churches.

We, men and women have gender in the flesh in this natural body, but in
spirit we are the same. When we die and our spirit is set free from this
body we are neither male nor female in gender. You would say, why then did
God create gender when He created man, man could have been like earthworms

We need to understand firstly God created all things in an image. He
created man in His image does not means man looks like God but means by
understanding the design in which man is created we can understand the
Nature of God. This design goes very deep into the biology, microbiology,
even unto the DNA of man. Similarly all other things are also created in
things either according to HIS KIND or according to THEIR KIND. This His
Kind refers to beings in Heaven that abide by Him and Their kind refers to
being that rebelled against His Nature. So when God said clean or unclean
He did not refer to the creature but to its design, that is why when Noah
was instructed to gather the animals even the unclean were saved though in
smaller numbers for God cared for both. We also see later in the New
Testament we read when the Angel appeared to Peter in a vision he was
instructed to eat of all animals both clean and unclean (including the
creeping and crawling) for now the understanding was not in the flesh
(natural) like in the Old Testament but in the spiritual for in the Old
Testament Spirit of God was given to only to a few but now He is given to
all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

So we see man and woman were made to understand God and the things of
Heaven that is why Paul says man (husband) in like Christ and the woman
(wife) like His Church (people). When you understand why God created woman
from the bone of man and not in the same way has He created man, one would
understand this and understand why we get married.

In Heaven all the Beings have one Nature and that is the Nature of God that
is why the male gender Father and Son is only used in Heaven. This gender
is not compared to the earthly gender.

In English gender is used for living being and animated things but in Greek
gender is used for all things and by studying the theological background of
them it opens great dimension of understanding of spiritual things.

The Lord is telling us today when we go to Heaven we will not be neither
male nor female, nor father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, cousin
or any other relationship. We all will same like the Angels who are called
Sons of God and we will have only one relation brethren between us all and
God will be our Father. There will be no mother, sister or any such
relationship there.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You created man lower than the Angels for You created him in the
flesh, yet flesh had no power over him. It was sin that made the flesh his
prison for he lost the Fruits of Truth and Righteousness. Lord, You came
and paid the penalty for our sins so that we could receive your Spirit of
Truth, who reveals the Truth to us and through your Son we receive
Righteousness so as to be Sons of God again and be able to enter Heaven
again. Lord we thank You for creating us as we are so that we know the
hidden things of Heaven and through this knowledge the Truth grows in us.
We pray man stops being more little than what he is and imagines earthly
relationships in Heaven and creates earthly mothers, fathers, brothers and
sisters in Heaven. Open their understanding Lord and free them from

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Talks that seem nonsense

Luke 24:11 - And their words seemed to them as idle tales [nonsense], and
they believed them not.

As I have started to study Koine Greek and have studied the basics of Greek
grammar, like how nouns, verbs etc. are deflected and started to look at
the Greek text of the scriptures, it takes you to another level of
understanding. Like in today's message the translators have played safe and
due to which the gravity of the situation is not projected.

The Gospels and book of Acts are documentation of what happened so the
people who recorded them down did not try to influence the reader's
emotionally in any way; therefore one would not find any exclamation marks
in any sentence. But many of the translators watered this down even further
by not rendering the expressions already there in the sentences fully.

One may say the translators were scholars, how could they be so foolish to
do such things. Know that God has written in the Bible how things are going
to unfold in its time so even though they saw they did not understand, like
the Jews at the time of Jesus had great knowledge of the Hebrew language
yet did not understand scriptures.

Paul tells us about the 9 Fruits of the Holy Spirit which we can grow in
Galatians but the remainder 3 Fruits he notes them in Ephesians, for they
are not the ones which man can grow. Truth, Righteousness and Holiness are
Fruits which are gifts from the Holy Spirit, Son and Father respectively.
One cannot grow Truth, like a revelation of the Word is not something
someone can get by exercising one's wisdom or knowledge, it is a gift that
the Spirit of God gives us. So for getting a revelation of the Word one
does not need to be highly educated or have great knowledge of scriptures,
these things may help us to apply the revelation into our lives or explain
them unto others but not to get them. Like the knowledge of Greek language
does not get me revelations but helps me understand the depth of what God
has revealed to me already or prove the same unto others. That is why I
tell people even if one studies scripture day and night for years and years
still one will be filled with worldly understandings; it is only when one
spends time with the Holy Spirit and comes under His favour that one gets
revelations from Him. This is proof when you see some educated Muslims
Dawahs who go to the extent of learning Greek and Hebrew words parroting
scriptures, yet know not what they mean.

In today's message we see the Apostles had yet not received the Holy
Spirit. Even though Jesus had taught them for about 3 years and they were
full of the knowledge of what He taught them yet they lacked understanding
His teachings. That is why for them the words of the women were like
nonsense, more so they were kind of petrified hearing the foolish of their
words that is why they ran to see for themselves.

Today the Holy Spirit wants us to understand the importance of standing in
His favour. Like to win the favour of our parents we spend maximum time
around them or communicating with them even if we are far away, so also we
should do the same with the Holy Spirit.

Favours can be won or gained due to a special mission or assignment
assigned to us, like we get our parents at times contacting us again or
keeping on asking us if we need anything else. Like your mother would keep
coming and asking if you need a cup of tea or something to eat every now
and then when we are studying for an examination all day, but would not do
the same if we are sitting and watching TV all day. Thus favour also comes
from God because of a certain state we are in or certain mission we are
assigned to do. Through the parable of talents Jesus explained how, if we
are given more, more is expected from us.

The Lord is telling us even if we are spending hours reading scriptures and
doing historical, scientific, geographical, archaeological and linguistic
research of scriptures yet we need to spend time with Him and stand in the
gap to get His favour to get revelations and true understanding of

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, let us know the importance of having true understanding of
scriptures. Let us know that this understanding does not come through human
efforts but only due to your favour on us. Lord we pray your people while
talking time and efforts to study your Word, may also put time and efforts
to build a relationship with You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Priesthood after the order of Melchizedek

Hebrew 7:11 - If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood,
(for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there
that another priest should rise after the order of Melchizedek, and not be
called after the order of Aaron?

Due to lack of understanding of Melchizedek people have made him a
character greater than life. No doubt at one occasion he symbolized Christ
when he symbolically brought bread and wine and met Abraham. It was more
his name and his position and what he did that was of importance and not
the person that is he. In Hebrews the scripture states 'without father and
without mother', it does not refer to him but to whom he represented - that
is Christ, for the scripture continues to say that the person was from the
beginning of time and is without end. Abraham did not give his tithe to the
man Melchizedek but to whom he represented which is Christ.

In today's scripture also it is not so much about the man Melchizedek but
about his name and position that holds the key. The word 'Levi' means
'joined' and 'Melchizedek' means 'King of Righteousness' and he was the
king of Salem which means peace.

In the books of Moses the Levites did not choose to be priest, it was God
who selected them for the calling of priesthood. They had no option or
choice if they were born in the Levi tribe and were the first born male
then they had to take the profession of priesthood. In Christ the case is
different. Due to Jesus Christ the King of Righteousness making peace with
God on behalf of us, we all automatically come under His cover of
righteousness and thus become priest. Priest does not mean one that serves
in the temple but means one who serves God and His people. Christ being
King and calling us brethren, we too become part of the royal Family,
therefore Peter puts us as royal priests.

Today's message tells us we are not priest out of bondage or compulsion but
are priest because Christ by His sacrifice made peace between us and God
and due to His sacrifice (blood) we are made righteous. We do not have the
fear of death when we approach God but can approach the Throne of God
without perishing, for the cover of righteousness of the Son protects us.
If any person other than a Levi touched the symbolic holy things of God
they would die instantly but we as priest today have access to the true
Holy things of God and that too access without fear of death.

The Lord is reminding us of our duty as royal priest, if we believe in the
sacrifice of Jesus Christ then we should show that in our living by serving
His Kingdom. Can we live a life of rituals like the Levi did, like just
attending church, saying prayers and reading scriptures and still claim to
salvation in Jesus Christ? The Levis were indeed blessed in the Lord and
God provided for them but they received only earthly things but for us much
greater things await in Heaven which no man can imagine.

We cannot call ourselves priest if we are not serving His Kingdom and if we
are not serving then our belief in His sacrifice gets questioned. We who
are made priest through Jesus Christ and call ourselves Christians should
make sure we truly are priest by serving Him and His people.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord by your sacrifice You have made each and every person who believes in
You a priest so by default they are called to serve You and your people, so
every Christian by default is a priest and called to serve. When we do not
serve we contradict our belief in You. Lord we pray your people not be
namesake Christians but be royal priest by serving your Kingdom, which is
You and your people and have authority in the spiritual domain...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Hebrew 7:1-8

1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met
Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,

2 to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all (being first, by
interpretation, King of righteousness, and then also King of Salem, which
is King of peace;

3 without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither
beginning of days nor end of life, but made like unto the Son of God),
abideth a priest continually.

4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom Abraham, the patriarch,
gave a tenth out of the chief spoils.

5 And they indeed of the sons of Levi that receive the priest's office
have commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that
is, of their brethren, though these have come out of the loins of Abraham:

6 but he whose genealogy is not counted from them hath taken tithes of
Abraham, and hath blessed him that hath the promises.

7 But without any dispute the less is blessed of the better.

8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there one, of whom it is
witnessed that he liveth.

1 Peter 2:9 But ye are an elect race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a
people for God's own possession, that ye may show forth the excellencies of
him who called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Fear that leads to evil and death

Acts 28:11 - And after three months we departed in a ship of Alexandria,
which had wintered in the isle, whose sign was Castor and Pollux.

Before I start I like to quote a part of the commentary from John Gills on
this sign that was put at the head of this ship:

'whose sign was Castor and Pollux; or Dioscuri, that is, the sons of
Jupiter; for Castor and Pollux were his sons, by Leda: these are placed
among the constellations in the Zodiac, and go by the name of Gemini, or
the twins; and these were supposed to have a power of saving men in danger
at sea: wherefore such as were about to go to sea, first paid their
devoirs, and made vows to them; which they performed when they returned,
and were delivered from shipwreck; and when they were in danger at sea,
they used to pray unto them: the fiery exhalations that sometimes appear at
sea, they took for them; and when only one appeared, it was looked on as a
bad omen; but when both, it was reckoned to portend a prosperous voyage;
hence they were considered as sea deities;'

In India the Hindus believe the Elephant headed god Ganesha to be a great
protector, therefore they would not do anything to offend him and they
mostly start everything with paying homage to it.

The Catholics believe in this deity called 'Mother Mary' as being their
protector therefore those who travel especially by sea make sure to pay
homage to her idol.

We see all pagan or corrupt beliefs make their people to fear and then
harvest this fear and lead them to destruction by setting them against God
whom they never fear. We read throughout the Bible God telling His people
'fear not'. He tells them to overcome the fear of any and every thing in
this world that is visible or invisible, the only thing they are called to
fear is fear the wrath of God thus be far from sin since on judgment day
His wrath will fall on all sin.

Man is filled with fear because he does have knowledge or understanding
what he sees or senses, thus his mind plays games on him and causes him to
fear. Ironically since he does not see or know God this same man tends to
not fear God and thus dares to go against God. So we see knowledge, wisdom
and understanding can set people free from fear and at the same time make
the person aware of whom they should truly fear, for the Truth is known to
them. They are not like men walking with blindfolds imagining things in
their path but walk like people with sight, eye wide open, who can see what
is in their path.

In today message God is telling us to open our eyes to His Truth so that we
may overcome fear of things of this world and fear only His wrath.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You alone are God and there is none other than You. Lord, we prayer
people read your Word and their eyes open to the Truth, that they overcome
fears of things of this world and below this world, but fear You alone.
That they set themselves far from sin, for You hate sin and they would not
want to face your wrath when it falls on sin...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Christian should reach out to others

Philippians 2:4 - Look not every man on his own things, but every man also
on the things of others.

You would mostly hear preachers saying that we as Christians need to be
good, so we should reach out to others and care for others. Yes we need to
shine the light of Christ that is within us; since God is merciful we too
need to be merciful, therefore whatever the reason be, if there is hope for
that person we should not let that hope perish and should reach out and
show the love and mercy of God.

But I see many people take pride when they serve other people, this pride
can also be a pride in humility, people can be proud because they are
humble, it may sound a paradox but that is when a person does not know real
humility, but thinks being low means humility, so they suffer themselves in
many ways and then take pride in their suffering.

There is also another factor that of people becoming satisfied with
themselves because of the service they do unto others. They look at the
work they are doing and they feel that it is a lot of work, so they step
back and stop reaching out to more, but settle to attend those whom they
are serving.

I try to show them the picture in another way. We as Christians can rebuke
the devouring spirit and thus bring prosperity into the lives of others, or
heal them and free them of their suffering, but that does not happen
always. God at times desires we take care of people and this is not for the
sake of the people but for our sake. When we picture ourselves as labourers
in the Kingdom of God there are two ways we can look at ourselves. We can
look at ourselves as daily wages workers, as those who work and get paid in
money for their labour. This is the case with most Christians they desire
blessings in exchange for their labour. So if their work they demand to be
paid for their labour. But a son of the owner of the farm does ask for
payment, he looks at the harvest as his payment, his joy is his harvest, he
may go without any benefit for a long time but he knows one day it will be
a great day for him, many times over the daily worker gets.

I always tell people stop looking at yourselves as working for God when
doing the Lord's work but look at yourselves as working in a gym. We do not
use the word 'working' when we lift weights or do exercises in a gym, we
use the words 'workout' for we focus at the output not at the process and
we know the recipient of the benefit is us. Thus we cannot take pride in
what we do but can only take pride in what we become because of the work we

God knows it is impossible for man to overcome evil by himself or man to
directly confronting it so instead of fighting it God recommends we
overcome it by serving His people (that is carrying the CROSS). To overcome
greed we should learn to give, to overcome pride we should learn to lift
others up, to overcome hatred we should learn to love, to overcome despair
we need to find purpose for life. All these and others cannot be done
without other people so let look at others as a need for ourselves to grow
in the Lord and let us thank God when we find people to serve.

We as Christians need to understand without serving we cannot overcome and
without overcoming we will be not able to enter Heaven. That is why Jesus
did not say those who believe in Him will enter the Kingdom of God but only
those who do the will of the Father. The work what we do is not works of
righteousness but the works of faith and this work helps us grow in faith
and makes us into Sons of God, those having authority.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, we thank You for the people You have put in our lives, those whom we
can reach out to and help. Lord we pray in case any among us has been not
serving others, that they may realize what they are depriving themselves
of. That all grow strong in serving your people and reap great of the
harvest in the Day of the Lord, when He comes in glory...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Philippians 2:4-5

4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things
of others.

5 Let this mind [thought] be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

John 15:12-17

12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for
his friends [associates].

14 Ye are my friends [associates], if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what
his lord doeth: but I have called you friends [associates]; for all things
that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye
should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that
whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Prophecy being fulfilled

John 18:27 - Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crowed.

In today's message the Lord reminds us the event that happened with Peter
(Simon), Jesus had warned Peter that he would deny Him trice and on the
third time the cock would crow. Peter at that moment just refused such a
thing would happen.

Think of it Peter loved Jesus very dearly and never in his mind thought
would he come to a state that he would deny Jesus. Even after Jesus warned
Peter yet we see Peter denied Jesus.

Just think of it Jesus told Peter beforehand he would deny Him trice, now
when Peter denied Jesus the first time he had time to stop and break the
prophecy but he did it again and yet he did not realize he would fulfil the
prophecy by denying Jesus the third time and could have simply stopped
there but he did deny Jesus the third time too and it is written
immediately the cock crowed and confirmed the prophecy had come to pass.

Prophecies can be quickened or delayed but cannot be cancelled. We see many
Christians at prayer meetings make prayers which are senseless for they ask
God to cancel prophecies. If our God has spoken no one not even He Himself
can or will break it. He is a respecter of His Word and for example when
man sinned in His anger He cursed man, He could have simply cancelled that
curse but He did not. He had a part of Him (His Son) come as man and pay
the price of being hung on the cross so that the curse would be broken in
the lives of His people. He did not cancel the words but changed the
consequence of the words by taking it on Himself.

What God has said will surely come to pass, come what may, and unless every
prophecy does not come to pass the end would not come. As Christians let us
be aware of the prophecies for Jesus says like we can tell time by the
season in this natural world so also by prophecies we can tell the time in
the spiritual world. Let us not be foolish to think the world will end by
seeing some prophecies being fulfilled, let us always remember unless each
and every one of them does not come to pass the end would not come.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray your children who are children of light not walk blindly like
children of darkness. We pray You fill then with a thirst to know more of
your Word, open their minds to the understanding of your Word so that do
the right things at the right time and quicken salvation unto your lost

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

John 13:38 - Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake?
Verily, verily, I say to thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast
denied me three times.

John 18:25-27

25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore to him,
Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

26 One of the servants of the high priest, being the kinsman of him whose
ear Peter cut off, saith, Did not I see thee in the garden with him?

27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crowed.

2 Peter 1:20-21

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men
of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 24:6 - And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye
be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not

1 Peter 5:1-8

1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write
unto you.

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a
thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you
as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are
not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are
drunken in the night.

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of
faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
