Jesus broke the lines
Matthew 1:3 - Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot
Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram.
Today again the Lord wants us to reflect on the genealogy of Jesus and
the one link that we need to introspect is the generation from Judah.
In the New Testament and even in the Old Testament is written about
Jesus and His link to Judah. The promise of the Saviour was from
Judah. Jesus is also referred to as the Lion of Judah.
We also learned yesterday about His connection with Abraham and David.
But in today's message the Lord is asking us to understand the actual
meaning of His links. The son of Judah from whose line Jesus came
(both Joseph and Mary) was Perez, whose generation were called
Parzites. His son was Hezron and his generations also from whom Jesus
came had branched into a tribe of their own and were called
Hezronites. Jesus was not ever known as a Parzite or ever a Hezronite.
If one gets into how Perez who also had a twin brother Zarah was born,
one would wonder why the Lord chose to come from a line which involved
a father in law having children (twins) by a widow daughter in law.
Yet we see Judah is given high respect in scriptures that Jesus is
called of Judah.
What we see from scriptures is that leaving for Jesus no human had any
stature which they could be proud of. Abraham laughed in the presence
of God (God's Angel) with his face down to the ground. David killed to
have illicit relationship with that person’s wife. Moses was a
murderer and also being a great Prophet had a problem of stammering
while speaking. Mary who was called blessed and is an icon of strong
faith like Abraham, at one time believing the people who thought Jesus
had gone mad and out of concern ran along with her sons to check on
Him.
If one goes through the others in the genealogy we would get lot more
but yet we see that Jesus was without blemish and had not inherited
any of the ills of the people He was linked to in His genealogy.
We need to understand the curse of God of passing the sins (sin
nature) was from father unto son up to 4 generations. For example if I
rob, the nature to rob would be passed unto my son and his son and his
son. If none of them ever rob then that nature would die but if any of
them do then that nature goes down another 4 generations. Jesus had
none of the nature of His earthly ancestors for His Father was no
human but the Holy Spirit.
The mother’s sinful nature gets passed to the children when the father
and mother come into physical relationship. In the case of Jesus, He
was not born out of any human physical relationship.
When God created Adam He took dust and put a human spirit in it and
that became the first man. In Mary’s case God the Son humbled Himself
to being a human spirit and was put into womb of Mary to become a
physical human being.
So being born of ancestors whom would be looked at as an idol being
yet we have a Jesus born with perfection by the power of the Holy
Spirit. We too when fully connected with Jesus through His sacrifice
get spiritually disconnected from our ancestors and from all their
sinful natures and their hereditary curses / illnesses.
If your father or mother is diabetic or have heart problems and these
are hereditary, then understand you need to spiritually disconnect
from them and connect to Jesus Christ. It does not mean you do not
love them it means you do not inherit any of their spiritual
infirmities but in Christ you are been healed from them all. We do not
realize there are many areas where we accept the wrong unknowingly we
need to discern them and work on them.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, when You created man your nature was there in Him but when He
sinned the nature of corrupt Adam was passed unto all generations. You
cursed man with the sinful nature of his fathers unto 4 generations.
Even in your anger You made an escape for man through your Son Jesus
Christ. In perfection You was He made man and in perfection was He
kept thus became our eternal sacrifice without blemish. Lord Jesus in
You, with You and through You we are set free from the infirmities of
our ancestors...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Read Genesis 38
Mark 3:30-35
30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing
without, sent unto him, calling him.
32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold,
thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said,
Behold my mother and my brethren!
35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother,
and my sister, and mother.
Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl
of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created
he him; male and female created he them (him).
Genesis 2:7
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Matthew 1:24-25
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord
had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and
he called his name JESUS.
Hebrew 8:8-12
8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith
the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and
with the house of Judah:
9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the
day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of
Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them
not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel
after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind,
and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they
shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man
his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the
least to the greatest.
12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins
and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Genesis 5:1-2
1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God
created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their
name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Exodus 34:6-7
6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The
LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in
goodness and truth,
7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression
and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the
iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children’s
children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
Galatians 3:13
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a
curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a
tree:

From genealogy to no genealogy
Matthew 1:1 - The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of
David, the son of Abraham.
In the Gospel of Matthew the writer being a true historian starts with
documenting the human connections from Abraham to Jesus. In another
Gospel which is of Luke we have another genealogy given of Jesus but
this begins from Adam to Jesus. When we put these 2 genealogies side
by side from David to Joseph there is a difference in the genealogy.
Matthew records Solomon and Luke records Nathan. It is not an error
for we also find the father of Joseph recorded by Matthew as Jacob and
Luke puts Eli. There is no confusing or error between the 2 Gospels.
Matthew correctly records the genealogy of Jesus through Joseph to
David and the genealogy which Luke records is actually the genealogy
of Mary to David.
Luke was led by the Spirit of God to document this genealogy for God
knew one day man would manipulate history especially concerning Mary.
Mary the mother of Jesus was the daughter of Eli and the Mary whom the
Catholic Church worships as 'Mother Mary' is recorded to be the
daughter of Joachim (now you take a guest who this Mary is?).
Between the 2000years between Abraham and Jesus there were about 40 to
42 generations, 14 generations between Abraham to David, 14 from David
unto the times of Daniel when the people of God were taken unto
Babylon (Jesus' ancestor Jechonias) and 14 from Babylon unto Jesus.
More than been called son of Joseph, Jesus is referred to more as son
of David. He is also called the seed of Abraham because both these
individuals had a blessing in Jesus. The blessing of salvation came
from the seed of Abraham (Jesus) and everlasting Kingdom from the seed
of David (Jesus).
Jesus became the Last Adam when He died on the crucifix and those who
are resurrected in Him by faith are no longer connected to Adam by any
genealogy but are connected to Jesus Christ. This genealogy has no
multiple levels but just one level - Brotherhood.
As people in the flesh we may be brothers, sisters, sons, daughters,
husbands, wives, fathers or mothers but in the Spirit of Jesus Christ
we are all just one - brothers or sisters in Christ.
Jesus did away with genealogy and bought us together as one in His
Spirit. So let us overcome our worldly relations and have the one and
only relationship in Him.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we are all part of your sheepfold. You crushed all human high
and low, big and small, rich and poor and bought us together in your
Spirit as your brothers and sisters. We pray Lord that You help us
overcome our earthly thinking and walk in Spirit being part of the
Family of God...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not

To MountZion - Page 32 Empty Re: To MountZion

Post  Admin Mon 20 Jun 2011, 11:50 pm

The Word is the presence of God
John1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
This scripture has captured the minds of many writers and many have
written volumes of this scripture. You do not need to worry that I
would write a very long message today but we will break it into the
literal meaning of the message.
The word used as 'Word' is the word Greek word 'Logos' which means
spoken word. What is very interesting in today's message is the word
'was' which comes from the word used for God the word translated as 'I
AM' along with the word 'I' or 'me', in another word means 'exist'.
What caught my attention was the grammar of this word. The TVM of this
word is T=Imperfect, V=[not stated], M=Indicative.
Imperfect:
The imperfect tense generally represents continual or repeated action
in the past. Where the present tense might indicate "they are asking,"
the imperfect would indicate "they kept on asking."
Indicative:
The indicative mood is a simple statement of fact. If an action
really occurs or has occurred or will occur, it will be rendered in
the indicative mood.
Going by the TVM = Body, Mind, Spirit formulae John is simply telling us:
In the beginning the Word of God was spoken and passed from generation
to generation by mouth. The understanding of this Word was only with
God. People even though did not understand it still knew the value of
the Word and honoured it as was given to God.
Job was way before Moses and even then he wrote many a things of the
Kingdom of God which gives great insight to the Kingdom of God.
History documents that when man invented ink and started writing down
the Word of God every time they wrote the word YHWH (refereeing to God
latter changed to Yahweh) they would first have a bath out of fear
that their uncleanliness would cause God to be angry and they would
die. They knew the Word (either spoken or written) was like the
physical presence of God.
Man during that time even though had very little understanding of the
Word, did not change the Word according to their understanding, had
they done that we would have been in a great mess. Good or bad they
wrote it as it was given unto them.
Today's man does not respect the Word of God like in those days. Even
though through the Spirit of the Lord we are receiving the
understanding of the Word, so the understanding is not only with God
but also with man, yet the respect to the Word has been lost. Men
instead of representing the Word in its Truth are misrepresenting and
corrupting the Word. Man has even editing God's Word putting
themselves above God.
Last Pentecost while praying the Lord gave the message He would deal
with Pakistan and we all know since then what all has happen to that
country. This year the message was about those who are twisting the
Word of God and making people to believe in lies. By these lies they
are making Christians to live life unlike Christian. These people are
going to be dealt with in a serious manner. My heart says within the
next 2 months things will start to manifest.
How many preachers are telling their congregation unless they deny
themselves and take the mission of Christ given unto them they are not
real Christians?
Christ has given each and every one of us a field to harvest. We are
all called to witness Him, to give the Good News and to baptize people
after giving them the understanding of God the Father, His Son and His
Spirit in the respective order. We need to ask ourselves how many
people have we baptized in the Name of Jesus? How many people have we
given the Good News of Jesus Christ? How many times have we denied
ourselves or how much have we denied the luxuries of life for the sake
of others?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, the world does not know You because your people do not shine
your Light and your glory is not seen among your people. The Shepherds
are not leading but misleading your sheep. They are building
monuments, organizing events, building their own empires but these are
far from your Kingdom and the Truth. Lord, intervene in your Church
and as spoken in your Word set this Church in order...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Zephaniah 1:12-18
12 And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search
Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their
lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will
he do evil.
13 Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a
desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and
they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.
14 The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hastens
greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall
cry there bitterly.
15 That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day
of devastation and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day
of clouds and thick darkness,
16 A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and
against the high towers.
17 And I will bring distress on men, that they shall walk like blind
men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall
be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.
18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them
in the day of the LORD’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured
by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance
of all them that dwell in the land.
Ezekiel 33:2-11
2 Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them,
When I bring the sword on a land, if the people of the land take a man
of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
3 If when he sees the sword come on the land, he blow the trumpet,
and warn the people;
4 Then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet, and takes not warning;
if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be on his own
head.
5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood
shall be on him. But he that takes warning shall deliver his soul.
6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet,
and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person
from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will
I require at the watchman’s hand.
7 So you, O son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of
Israel; therefore you shall hear the word at my mouth, and warn them
from me.
8 When I say to the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die; if
you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man
shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.
9 Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if
he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you
have delivered your soul.
10 Therefore, O you son of man, speak to the house of Israel; Thus
you speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be on us, and we
pine away in them, how should we then live?
11 Say to them, As I live, said the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in
the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and
live: turn you, turn you from your evil ways; for why will you die, O
house of Israel?
Matthew 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All power is given to me
in heaven and in earth.
19 Go you therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you:
and, see, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.
Mark 8:34-38
34 And when he had called the people to him with his disciples also,
he said to them, Whoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and
take up his cross, and follow me.
35 For whoever will save his life shall lose it; but whoever shall
lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul?
37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
38 Whoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this
adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be
ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy
angels.
Jeremiah 28:12-17
12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after
that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the
prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast
broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a
yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have
given him the beasts of the field also.
15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear
now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this
people to trust in a lie.
16 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will cast thee from off
the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, because thou hast
taught rebellion against the LORD.
17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.

The Old and New Testament
Today the Lord wants me to speak about the division made by man of His Word.
One of the greatest hurdles for man to understand the Bible was caused
by the early Church (Catholic Church). Due to their lack of
understanding of scriptures they separated the Bible into two parts
one of the time before Jesus and called it the Old Testament and the
time from Jesus' coming as man as the New Testament. People may not
see any harm in this and may find it convenient to understand.
In the Bible what is old that becomes new are things like the
Covenants and spiritual man (born again). God throughout the Bible
renewed His Covenant many a times with a better Covenant and those in
the New Covenant have the benefits of new as well as the old but do
not come under punishment (consequence of breaking the law) of the
old.
We need to understand God was, is and will always be the same for
ever. His Word is a part of Him and His Word too never changes and
Like Him is one and therefore is called The Word not words.
Because of the segregating of the Word into Old and New Testament
people are made to believe the Old is not valid and therefore do not
study the Word. The Law of Moses in the New Testament is also called
the Law of the Lord and Jesus said He did not come to change a bit of
the Law but to fulfil it. Jesus as man kept every Law given by the
Lord through His Messengers throughout the so called Old Testament
(mainly Moses).
The Jews keep the Law in its letter and not by its understanding and
one of the examples of the Law is demonstrated by Jesus is the law of
the Sabbath. The Jews without understanding of the Law confused
themselves greatly with it; that is why they had books bigger than the
Word (Torah and books of the Prophets) giving instructions only about
keeping the Sabbath. Jesus kept the Law of the Sabbath yet did nothing
which the Jews did. He is called the Lord (Master) of the Sabbath
because He had the understanding of the Sabbath.
What becomes a great hurdle for the Christian faith are the laws in
the Law of Moses where the Lord instructs to kill, dismember,
disconnect completely in relation, offer animal sacrifices, perform
odd rituals, keep dietary laws etc...
Till a few days back when I did not have an understanding of it,
knowing the Word is one and Jesus fulfilled it in Truth I did not
reject it or call it invalid but awaited on the Lord to open my mind
unto its understanding. But when the Lord started to open some of them
bring them unto light I realized when Paul wrote we live to battle a
spiritual warfare and not a battle in the flesh, he loved the Law of
God but hated the law of flesh and sin.
It is only people of flesh who think and work in the flesh, people of
spirit work in spirit and know the spirit world is the real world.
A good judge would never judge a person on a law that does not exist.
The New Testament talks a lot on being saved from Hell but gives
little about being saved in the Judgment Day. Jesus will come as Son
of Man again to judge His people according to the Law but not
according to the letter but according to the spirit of the Law for His
Spirit will speak to Him in Truth.
It is time we come out of the deceit of Satan which he played through
the early church over which he ruled and understand the Word of God in
Truth.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, your people suffer due to lack of understanding. They lack
authority in You because they are far from You and your Light. They do
things in your name but do not know your true Name. Lord, help us
surrender our flesh and desires of our flesh so that being people of
spirit led by your Spirit become Sons...
This prayer we make in your Mighty Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
John 1:1-4
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made
that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Romans 2:1-11
1 Wherefore thou art without excuse, O man, whosoever thou art that
judgest: for wherein thou judges another, thou condemnest thyself; for
thou that judgest dost practise the same things.
2 And we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against
them that practise such things.
3 And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such
things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of
God?
4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and
longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to
repentance?
5 but after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up for
thyself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous
judgment of God;
6 who will render to every man according to his works:
7 to them that by patience in well-doing seek for glory and honor and
incorruption, eternal life:
8 but unto them that are factious, and obey not the truth, but obey
unrighteousness, shall be wrath and indignation,
9 tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that worketh evil,
of the Jew first, and also of the Greek;
10 but glory and honor and peace to every man that worketh good, to
the Jew first, and also to the Greek:
11 for there is no respect of persons with God.
Matthew 5:17-22
17 Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came
not to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one
jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all
things be accomplished.
19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments,
and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of
heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called
great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed
the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise
enter into the kingdom of heaven.
21 Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not
kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 but I say unto you, that every one who is angry with his brother
shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his
brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever shall
say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of the hell of fire. (Jesus
continues in this chapter giving disclosures which seem contradictory
to the letter of the Law of Moses yet He actually did not change
anything but gave its true understanding) .
Luke 2:22-24,
22 And when the days of their purification according to the law of
Moses were fulfilled, they brought him up to Jerusalem, to present him
to the Lord
23 (as it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth
the womb shall be called holy to the Lord),
24 and to offer a sacrifice according to that which is said in the
law of the Lord, A pair of turtledoves, or two young pigeons.
1 Corinthians 14:21-22
21 In the law it is written, By men of strange tongues and by the
lips of strangers will I speak unto this people; and not even thus
will they hear me, saith the Lord.
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to
the unbelieving: but prophesying is for a sign, not to the
unbelieving, but to them that believe.
Romans 7:22-25
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 but I see a different law in my members, warring against the law
of my mind, and bringing me into captivity under the law of sin which
is in my members.
24 Wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me out of the body of this death?
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then I of myself
with the mind, indeed, serve the law of God; but with the flesh the
law of sin.

Watch your hearts from peirasmos
Mark 14:38 - Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation
[peirasmos]. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.
If you have downloaded and read the teaching on the Heart from the
website you will understand the 5 different parts in the Heart (inner
man). Among these the area where the 5 senses of the body connect to
our inner man through the Pump / Discernment is the greatest challenge
to man.
The Greek word peirasmos used for temptation also means testing or
putting under trail. One peirasmos is associated with God and one
peirasmos is associated with Satan. When God puts us under peirasmos,
it is to test if we have the Word of God in us, to enable us to bear
more Fruit (of the Holy Spirit) or to take us to the next spiritual
level. But the peirasmos associated with Satan is centred around
corrupting the Word of God in us, corrupting the Fruits of the Holy
Spirit in us and bringing us down spiritually so that Satan can get
to destroy us.
Many times it is very difficult to distinguish during an event to know
between the peirasmos of God and peirasmos of Satan. It is mostly at
the end, looking at the result that we come to know for sure if it was
of God or of Satan, if it was testing or temptation.
Like computer firewalls which open every data packet entering the
network and checks the address and data signatures, so also every
information that enters our mind should be discerned of its purpose
and contents. Everything we see, hear, taste, smell and touch would
have purpose and should be discerned.
We also have another sense which is also known as Conscience or called
by some as 6th sense, which connects our inner man to our spirit or
the spirit world. The Spirit of God speaks to us through our
conscience and so also does evil spirits or our own spirit. A person
in the Lord has very less chances of an evil spirit trying to
communicate him or her because the Word of God in them does not allow.
If the Word of God is not in us and our minds are empty or full with
garbage then the evil spirit easily gets attached to us like a
parasite or torments us through our conscience.
Like I told you it is very difficult to discern every information
entering us; for we not being machines tend to relax at times and at
those times Murphy's Law comes into existence. The more the
understanding of the Word of God in us helps us discern more. Knowing
the fact we do not have the complete understanding of the Word it is
impossible to discern everything. But when our Conscience is in
communication with the Holy Spirit then wrong information entering get
highlighted and is becomes very easy to discern even the smallest of
things. No peirasmos of Satan can manage to enter us when our
conscience is connected to the Spirit of God and the Word of God is in
us.
Worldly man walks without discerning or using conscience, a religious
man uses only his discernment and Spirit led man uses both his
conscience and his discernment.
We may have discernment but it is weak and penetrable but when we have
our conscience always on then we become like fortified walls for the
enemy. Our flesh is weak but our spirit is always ready to take charge
and not allow the enemy who is always on the lookout to enter and
destroy.
So let us always be in communication unceasingly with the Spirit of
God, always building ourselves in the knowledge of God and be people
of good conscience, discerning everything.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You made man with purpose and gave him a mouldable heart and a
free will to his heart. It is what we do to our heart that decides our
destination. Our heart is the Temple You desire to dwell in. We have
the liberty to let our flesh mould us, evil spirit to mould us or Your
Spirit to mould us. Lord, we are weak but You strengthen us when we
are connected to You through our Conscience. Help us Lord that we
unceasingly are in communication with You and alert to discern
everything that enters us and defiles us...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Luke 6:45a
45a The good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth
that which is good; and the evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth
forth that which is evil:
Hebrew 5:13-15
13 For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the
word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
14 But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of
use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
1 Corinthians 1:19-20
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the
discernment of the discerning will I bring to nought.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of
this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
1 Thessalonians 5:17,19
17 pray without ceasing;
19 Quench not the Spirit;
1 Corinthians 7:5
5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time,
that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together
again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but
God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye
are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape,
that ye may be able to endure it.
James 1:12-16
12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation; for when he hath been
approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised
to them that love him.
13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God
cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:
14 but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust,
and enticed.
15 Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin,
when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death.
16 Be not deceived, my beloved brethren.

Living for the CROSS
Philippians 1:23,24 - For I am hard pressed between the two, having a
desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better. Nevertheless
to remain in the flesh is more needful for you.
When we go for a holiday, even though the place is very beautiful and
has all the great things for recreation or enjoyment there comes a
time when our heart desires to go back home to the people close to us
is with whom our heart desires to be with.
But in case of a person going to another country for job, even if he
has the desire to go back home he refrains from entertaining that
desire for he knows his responsibility to bring bread to the table.
We all must at least sometime in our live thought would it be great I
die and be taken by the Lord to be with Him. We may be good Christians
and lived our lives as much we could, according to the knowledge of
the Kingdom of God we hold. But a mature, responsible Christian knows
the purpose he or she is here in this world.
Jesus told us to take up our CROSS and follow Him. We being a part of
the Body of Christ have a part of the CROSS of Jesus Christ to carry.
The CROSS of Jesus does not mean His crucifix. Jesus' own crucifix He
did not carry all the way. People who desire to partake in the
suffering of Jesus do not know the CROSS of Jesus. If God had the
desire that we suffer and be tortured, He would not have sent His Son
to heal us and die to make peace between Him and us.
As Christians we are called to suffer for the sake of others to bring
them to the Lord. But any other reason than that we suffer, is all
because we lack authority in Christ and have not matured to be sons or
are being chastised by the Lord. Even Satan and his team can not touch
a Christian when he or she is a true Christian. Did Jesus ever worry
of Satan harming Him? His only worry was His people.
We are part of the Heavenly Temple and we all have the purpose to find
the other stones which are also part of the Temple. We are called to
search for these stones and lead them to their rightful place. Just
finding them is not completion of our job. Most of these stones have a
lot of dirt and all kind of muck on them. We are called to find them
and help clean, shine them and show them the way to find the others
Temple stones written in their account.
Until we have completed our job here we as responsible members of the
Body of Christ will not want to leave immediately to our eternal
destination to be with the Lord. It is only immature children who do
not care about their responsibility that desire to go home
immediately.
In today's message the Lord is asking each one of us are we
responsible Christians or are we as immature children just desiring to
be with Him and not do the job we are here for?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You made us to be with You and partakers of your glory. To be
glorified in You as You will be glorified by the Father, we need to be
partakers of your CROSS. You came as man not only to save us but to
also show the way back home and be abundantly blessed in the true
riches of your Kingdom. Lord, help us realize our purpose here on
earth which is not to enjoy our lives but as mature, responsible
members of your Body to do the work assigned to us in You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 10:37-39
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me;
and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not
worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his
life for my sake shall find it.
Mark 15:20-21
20 And when they had mocked him, they took off the purple from him,
and put his own clothes on him, and led him out to crucify him.
21 And they compel one Simon a Cyrenian, who passed by, coming out of
the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to bear his cross.
Luke 9:23-24
23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him
deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will
lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
1 Corinthians 1:16-18
16 And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know
not whether I baptized any other.
17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not
in wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made void.
18 For the word of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but
unto us who are saved it is the power of God.
Ephesians 2:14-18
14 For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle
wall of partition,
15 having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of
commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself
of the two one new man, so making peace;
16 and might reconcile them both in one body unto God through the
cross, having slain the enmity thereby:
17 and he came and preached peace to you that were far off, and peace
to them that were nigh:
18 for through him we both have our access in one Spirit unto the Father.

Who will save the daughters of God!
Lamentations 4:6 - The punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of
my people Is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom, Which
was overthrown in a moment, With no hand to help her!
In the Bible the promise to enter Heaven is only for sons of God.
Jesus Christ came as Son of Man and is called Son of God, even the
Angels are called Sons of God. Before the fallen angels sinned they
too were called sons of God and later called devils.
God is referred to as Father even though the ancient Hebrew word
El-Shaddai means Strong Breasted One which refers to God and both our
Father and Mother, a source of our Protector and Provider for our
needs and affections. Even though God is our Mother still using that
word for God is like blasphemy.
From all this we see; is the Kingdom of God sex discriminating?
To understand this we need to understand the female gender.
When God created man and woman in spirit they were both created equal
and in the same gender - male. But when woman was created unlike man
she was created from the rib bone of man. This specific bone was taken
not because of its close proximity to the heart (by the way according
to the Bible the human heart does not symbolize love but righteousness
and it is the kidney which symbolizes love).
Every part (from organ, to cell to structure) of our being is made
with understanding and therefore it is written man is made in image of
God. Spiritually the bone symbolizes nature and the bone marrow the
spirit. Like the bones give shape to the body so also a beings nature
gives shape to its spiritual body.
Life is in the blood and is generated from the marrow. Therefore life
of the body indirectly comes from the spirit life which God gave us.
Our body dies but our spirit continues to live. Jesus’ bones were not
allowed to be broken because His Nature was perfect.
The rib bone is one of the few bones which do not have marrow. Even
though man and woman in spirit are made in the image of God but in the
physical woman is made in the nature of man. This will explain
marriage and the relation of Christ and His Church which is
symbolically called bride (woman) since it has to do with man.
There are very few differences between the physical body of man and
woman and by understanding them we learn how man should be ministered.
Similar to physical gender there exist the spiritual gender. The
redeemed man has a male gender (son) and the unredeemed man female
(daughter). Those who are doers of the Word are given the male gender
and those who know but do not are the female.
Jesus said those who hear His Father's Word are his brother, sister
and mother in the respective order. Jesus did not say they will be
His father.
The spiritual gender does not remain fix and is according to the
spiritual state of a person. So a man can spiritually be a daughter
and a woman a son. As the person grows from one stage to another he or
she starts with daughter to son. Son of Zion is the highest spiritual
stage for man. It is at this stage they are called sons of God /
princes of God / Israel. Daughter of Egypt is the lowest or starter
stage. That is why you will not find a scripture asking us to pray for
Israel but for the people in other spiritual stages.
In today's message the Lord is telling us who can save the daughters
from His hand. The punishment as stated in today's message as the Lord
states is even worse than which was imparted to Sodom (which was
destroyed by burning volcanic lava). It does not necessarily mean a
person who is at the lowest spiritual state will be punished but it
means daughters irrespective of whichever stage they are will be
punished. That means even if we are spiritually very knowledgeable,
blessed with many spiritual gifts doing great work for the Lord yet
not doers of the Word (sons) we will be punished very severely. So the
danger of punishment is as much at the lowest stage as it is at the
higher stage. All is matters on are we doing what the Lord speaks unto
us or opens our minds to His knowledge.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You created man and woman in your image. You made them male and
female so that they can understand your Kingdom and after being
redeemed they become your sons. Lord, as we surrender to your Spirit
and to your Word, make sons of us having authority and inheritors of
your Kingdom...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl
of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created
he him; male and female created he them [gender male - has the same
word as 'him'].
Genesis 2:21-24
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he
slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead
thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a
woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my
flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall
cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Matthew 12:50
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven,
the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Luke 20:35-36
35 but they that are accounted worthy to attain to that world, and
the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in
marriage:
36 for neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the
angels; and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
Romans 8:14-19
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
15 For ye received not the spirit of bondage again unto fear; but ye
received the spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are
children of God:
17 and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also
glorified with him.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not
worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed to
us-ward.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creation waiteth for the
revealing of the sons of God.
Galatians 3:25-26
25 But now that faith is come, we are no longer under a tutor.
26 For ye are all sons of God, through faith [complete knowledge of
the Truth], in Christ Jesus.

Not one will be lost
Isaiah 40:26 - Lift up your eyes on high, and see who hath created
these, that bringeth out their host by number; he calleth them all by
name; by the greatness of his might, and for that he is strong in
power, not one is lacking.
The first time I read this scripture I was very happy thinking even if
I truly follow the Lord's instructions or not, the Lord will save me
and I will be with Him in Heaven having eternal life. But then I read
scriptures like 'the path to Heaven is narrow', 'many are called but
few are chosen' and on Judgment Day even those who believe in Jesus,
do miracles, healings or even evangelize would not be assured an entry
in Heaven unless they keep His Father's Word. It was later when the
Lord started opening more of the spiritual world and its understanding
to me I realized not all of us who believe in Jesus Christ enter
Heaven but only those who keep the Holy Spirit's Word will enter
Heaven and the name of these the Lord already knows. This is why He
has already written their names in the Book of Life.
If we look in to the grammar of scriptures most promises of God are
not in the past or present or future tense but they are in a tense
which are past, present and future at the same time.
For man time is a factor, like distance; we can be at one spot at a
time but for God distance is not a factor since He is omnipresent so
also time is not a factor. Time does not restrain God in any way so He
knows the beginning and the end at the same time. We think in life we
would take this or that route and make our great plans in life but God
knows where we would land and what would be our condition. So if we
have wisdom and want to save ourselves trouble we need to just
communicate with Him.
In today's message He tells us He saves each and every one from them.
Since we do not have access to even peep into the Book of Life we can
only assure ourselves to be among these by listen to what the Spirit
of God speaks to us and abide by His Word. To discern if it is the
Spirit of God or our flesh or another spirit, we need to study the
Word of God and understand it.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are omnipresent and omnipotent. Nothing restricts You for
You are Almighty and You alone are Almighty. Lord help us to listen to
You and hear what You speak unto us through your Spirit so that we do
not take the long or rough road but the easy and smoother road...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 7:13-14, 21-23
13 Enter ye in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is
the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many are they that enter in
thereby.
14 For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leadeth unto
life, and few are they that find it.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in
heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy
by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many
mighty works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.
Luke 13:23-27
23 And one said unto him, Lord, are they few that are saved? And he
said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in by the narrow door: for many, I say unto you,
shall seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to
the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door,
saying, Lord, open to us; and he shall answer and say to you, I know
you not whence ye are;
26 then shall ye begin to say, We did eat and drink in thy presence,
and thou didst teach in our streets;
27 and he shall say, I tell you, I know not whence ye are; depart
from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
Zechariah 13:8-9
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD,
two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be
left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine
them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they
shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my
people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.

Behind the curtain of death
Luke 16: 27, 28 - Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that
thou wouldest send him to my father's house: For I have five brethren;
that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of
torment.
In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus the beggar, Jesus tries to
teach us many a things, and most important among those is the peep He
gives us of what exist behind the curtain of death.
Most Christians believe after death they go to Heaven and then they
also believe in Judgment day where Jesus Christ will judge mankind
before man enters Heaven. Now to digest these 2 contradicting beliefs
at the same time, man used the formulae of 50:50 not yours and not
mine, putting black and white together.
More than 50percent of the denominations in Christianity exist
directly or indirectly due to lack of understanding on this matter.
More than 90percent of pagan religions also exist because they lack
understanding on this matter.
Firstly pagans think life ends after death, some think the spirit
comes in another form like an animal or another being depending on the
good the person has done. There are religions which believe in Heaven
being a grand earthly holiday resort with streets of gold and places
made of precious stones. Many Christians too fall for this belief.
There are a large majority of Christians who think man lives in Heaven
in the form as he was on earth (human form) and similar large numbers
also think Hell is a place where Satan rules and the whole place is
like a grand party for Satan with fire everywhere and souls tortured
by him and his team.
In today's message the rich man of the parable had fire burning in his
belly and it was unbearable for him so he asked for water to be poured
into his mouth. Seeing this suffering the rich man requested his
family be warned about what exist behind the curtain of death.
Father Abraham, our father of faith in this parable is sitting in the
place of our Heavenly Father refused to send any dead person back to
earth to warn those alive.
Firstly let me tell you there is no concept like human spirits roaming
earth (ghost) which come back and haunt man. After an unbeliever (who
does not believe in Lord Jesus Christ) dies, his spirit goes to Hell
which is like a prison and cannot come back. This prison is controlled
by an Angel of God and not Satan. Satan the dragon (king of Tyre)
himself is locked here to be released in the last days. The Satan who
is with us is the beast (prince of Tyre) who works on behalf of his
master. The spirits which fool people as human ghost are none other
than the fallen angels also called devils.
About a believer coming back, that does not happen. A believer’s
spirit after death goes to sleep in a spiritual level known as Grave
(in Old Testament is written as 'gathered unto his fathers/people' ).
Here the souls are instructed not to communicate with (spiritually
corrupt) man so also is man too forbidden by God to communicate with
those in this level. Jesus had to transfigure (come out of body) to
communicate with spirit of Moses and spirit of Elijah. All so called
people who appear from here or Heaven are also fallen angels deceiving
man.
Other than Jesus no one has gone to Heaven (Upper Heaven - the top 3
levels which are most Holy) for we all are corrupt in spirit and only
after judgment we would be made whole and would be able to enter
Heaven.
About people like Enoch and Elijah who were taken up. The Bible says
they would come back like Elijah came as John the Baptist to die the
first death. There are totally 3 characters who are taken up in the
whole mankind among which Elijah came back. Enoch and another
character of who is already written in the Bible would come back in
the last days as the two witnesses just before the rapture.
So there is no one else who can be taken away or would come back other
than Jesus Christ. To understand it, God has given us His Word and we
also have people like Paul who have been spiritually shown Heaven in a
symbolic manner, for Heaven is a Spirit place made of precious
spiritual things which are symbolized by the things we know on earth
since they cannot be even imagined.
What will wake up people is when they realize the period of their
spirit life. Other than God (Father, Spirit & Son) no one has eternal
life or life within one's self. It is only when we enter Heaven we can
live eternally due to the Tree of Life. In flesh they may live max
about 120years but our spirit life as I have found out is a few
thousands of years. Where ever man goes after death either Hell or
Grave man will spend the rest of his spirit life there until Judgment
Day. After Judgment the believers who are judged will either enter
Heaven to live eternally or put in the Lake of Fire which is worse
than Hell for the rest of their spirit life.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, people rebel against You and your light because they do not know
You and therefore do not fear You. The knowledge of You and your
Kingdom brings fear and wisdom unto man. Lord, we pray You open the
eyes of man to know You and your Kingdom so as to have eternal life in
You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
John 11:11-14
11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our
friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.
13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had
spoken of taking of rest in sleep.
14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.
1 Thessalonians 4:14
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them
also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
Acts 7:59-60
59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus,
receive my spirit.
60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not
this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Genesis 25:8
8 Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old
man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.
Genesis 35:29
29 And Isaac gave up the ghost, and died, and was gathered unto his
people, being old and full of days: and his sons Esau and Jacob buried
him.
Numbers 20:24
24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter
into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because
ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.
Deuteronomy 35:48-50
48 And the LORD spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,
49 Get thee up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is
in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land
of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:
50 And die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto
thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered
unto his people:
1 Corinthians 15:20
20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits
of them that slept.
John 5:25-29
25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is,
when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that
hear shall live.
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the
Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he
is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that
are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the
resurrection of damnation.
Revelation 20:11-15
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written
in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire.
1 Corinthians 15:52-54
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal
must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Genesis 5:24
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
2 Kings 2:11
11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that,
behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, which
parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into
heaven.
Mark 9:12-13
12 And he said unto them, Elijah indeed cometh first, and restoreth
all things: and how is it written of the Son of man, that he should
suffer many things and be set at nought?
13 But I say unto you, that Elijah is come, and they have also done
unto him whatsoever they would, even as it is written of him.
Revelation 11:3-7
3 And I will give unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a
thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks, standing
before the Lord of the earth.
5 And if any man desireth to hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their
mouth and devoureth their enemies; and if any man shall desire to hurt
them, in this manner must he be killed.
6 These have the power to shut the heaven, that it rain not during
the days of their prophecy: and they have power over the waters to
turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as
often as they shall desire.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that
cometh up out of the abyss shall make war with them, and overcome
them, and kill them.
Matthew 17:1-3
1 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John
his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart:
2 and he was transfigured before them; and his face did shine as the
sun, and his garments became white as the light.
3 And behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him.

Going to court against another Christian is unchristian
1 Corinthians 6:1 - Dare any of you, having a matter against another,
go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
It is a very common today whenever there is serious conflict between
two Christians they approach the judiciary system. It does not need to
be two non-related Christians, even related Christians like husband
and wife approach the courts for matrimonial issues, family members
like brothers and sister, parent and children approach the courts to
settle property and inheritance issues.
Me writing on this would make almost all to think I am crazy, can
anyone settle these matters other than through the judiciary system?
In today's message the Lord is telling us through the words of Paul
how can we who call ourselves Christians, people been guided by the
Spirit of God and not able to talk and settle our differences between
another Christian whom we call a brother or sister in Christ?
Even if we are unable to settle between us, is there no Man or Woman
of God among us to guide us? Or is it that we do not believe God can
do anything in our matter? If that is the case then how are we
different from an unbeliever?
We mostly see when it comes to property or monetary issues we tell God
to keep His nose out of it for these matters are more important to us
than Him. When these matters come up we quietly switch off God like we
switch off an electric light in our house.
Let us not just call ourselves Christians but behave like Christians
and keeping in mind our God is alive; let us seek His guidance through
His Word and Spirit to sort out the problems or discrepancies between
members of Christ’s family. If we are not able to settle between
ourselves, let us approach a Man or Woman of God to guide us or seek
the help of elders of the Church.
The Church is not only for traditions or prayer services. Like when we
are sick and medicines do not respond or matters are serious we all
approach the Church for prayers and intercessions, so also let us not
cut off God for earthly matters and surely He would sort all matters
directly or through His messengers.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Living and Omnipotent God. Help us Lord during the
moments of misunderstanding between our brothers and sisters in You
that we acknowledge You and seek your help either directly or through
your representatives. Help us not to be ignorant or You and your
Church...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Corinthians 6:1-8
1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before
the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
2 Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the
world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest
matters?
3 Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things
that pertain to this life?
4 If then you have judgments concerning things pertaining to this
life, do you appoint those who are least esteemed by the church to
judge?
5 I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man
among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his
brethren?
6 But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!
7 Now therefore, it is already an utter failure for you that you go
to law against one another. Why do you not rather accept wrong? Why do
you not rather let yourselves be cheated?
8 No, you yourselves do wrong and cheat, and you do these things to
your brethren!
Matthew 18:15-17
15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell
him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou
hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more,
that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be
established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but
if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen
man and a publican.

Veg or Non-veg, clean or unclean
Romans 14:22 - Do you have faith? Have it to yourself before God.
Happy is he who does not condemn himself in what he approves.
One of the debates in Christian circles which catches like bush fire
is about food, what to eat and what not to eat.
Have you ever given a thought, could not have God made man like the
plants getting nourishment from the sun, water and soil? Think of it
we would not have had all this food problems and many would not have
had to work! Do you think God did not give it a thought? Did someone
need to suggest that to God?
Look at the other spiritual benefits it would have had. We would not
have had the problem with the spirit of obesity which most fight
against or are casualties of. Another spiritual problem area would
have been the desire of the tongue to taste. The tongue is not only a
dangerous weapon when it is let lose to talk but also dangerous for
our spirit when it is let lose to taste. The desires of the tongue can
destroy the spiritual amour and well as the being if not controlled.
There are many other numerous benefits had man been made like the
plants.
Firstly we need to understand God made man an eating being with
purpose as to understand spiritual matters pertaining to our permanent
residence Heaven. In the Garden of Eden God instructed man to eat of
the plants and trees with reason so as to train man to know how to
manage his eternal life which God put forth for him. Later we see when
sin came into man God indirectly caused man to kill and eat of the
animal so as to train him to accept his eternal sacrifice of
redemption and to be free from sin. God made all things for man and
when He made them He said everything is good, yet we see some trees
and even some animals carry poison within themselves and if eaten man
can die.
We need to understand every variety of animal, plant, creature and
even the universe is made to understand the spiritual world and beings
of the spiritual world. Like God made man in His image similarly God
made other creatures in this creation in the image of things of His
Kingdom and in the image of the kingdom of darkness which opposes His
Kingdom. So even though all things are good yet they behave
differently or have different characteristics because of the image
they were created in. To give an example of how to discern the
spiritual image, God called some animals clean and some unclean. Once
the full understanding of these images comes unto man and he learns to
discern them fully even nature would be under man’s control meaning
will abide by man's authority.
So what we eat and what we do not eat is only due to the knowledge or
understanding we hold or lack (which is linked to our faith). So do
not force someone to be a veg or non-veg but open their minds to the
knowledge and understanding of God’s spiritual Kingdom and he or she
would know all things are good and for the purpose of man, he or she
would also know what, how and when to eat.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You made this world in your awesome wisdom. You made all things
good and with purpose. You knew the plans each plant, grain of soil,
animal, bird would play in your grand story of man's salvation. Due to
the lack of knowledge man is not able to build faith and have
authority. Lord, open our minds to your Kingdom and pour out your
knowledge, wisdom and understanding into us. Help us overcome our weak
faith...
This payer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 1:11-12,21,24- 27,29-31
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding
seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is
in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after
his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after
his kind: and God saw that it was good.
21 And God created great whales [monsters], and every living creature
that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their
kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was
good.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after
his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his
kind: and it was so.
25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle
after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after
his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl
of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created
he him; male and female created he them.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which
is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and
to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I
have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very
good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Genesis 3:21
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of
skins, and clothed them.
Genesis 4:3-4
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the
fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the
fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Genesis 7:1-3,8-9
1 And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the
ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.
2 Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male
and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and
his female.
3 Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to
keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.
8 Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls,
and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,
9 There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the
female, as God had commanded Noah.
Genesis 8:18-22
18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’
wives with him:
19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever
creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.
20 And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean
beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the
altar.
21 And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his
heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for
the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I
again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.
22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and
heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.
Leviticus 10:9-11
9 Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee,
when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it
shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations:
10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and
between unclean and clean;
11 And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes
which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.
Leviticus 11:1-23
1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts
which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the
cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or
of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the
cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the
hoof; he is unclean unto you.
6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the
hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet
he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not
touch; they are unclean to you.
9 These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath
fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them
shall ye eat.
10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the
rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which
is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of
their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an
abomination unto you.
13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the
fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle,
and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
15 Every raven after his kind;
16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk
after his kind,
17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination
unto you.
21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth
upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon
the earth;
22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the
bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the
grasshopper after his kind.
23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall
be an abomination unto you.
Acts 10:9-16
9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto
the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth
hour:
10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they
made ready, he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him,
as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to
the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and
wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing
that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath
cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

The Rooster crows
Mark 14:72 - And straightway the second time the cock crew. And Peter
called to mind the word, how that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock
crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he
wept.
The term cockerel or cock is actually a term used for a young rooster
of about a year. The rooster usually sits at a height of 4 to 5 feet
and keeps a watch on his flock and crows in a particular way to alert
of any imminent danger.
In today's message after Simon Peter denied Jesus thrice the young
rooster crew. We need to understand Simon Peter was given a limit to
the number of times he could make mistakes or fail the Lord, after
that he was given a warning to turn back. Simon Peter realized from
the warning and repented for failing the Lord; he did not like Judas
lose all hope and kill himself, but he took courage and turned back to
the Lord and led the flock with great passion and courage.
In the beginning the Lord allowed sin to come into the life of man to
make him built resistance to sin like how polio vaccination builds a
child’s resistant to the polio virus. The vaccination actually
contains the virus in very mild dose. The immune system which God has
given man helps man to overcome the virus called sin which bought
death. The immune system is made of His Word and His Spirit.
God wants to build His people so that they resist the greater things
beyond earth. Understand Satan and fallen angels before they fell were
at spiritual levels beyond our imagination and yet they fell to evil
and caused darkness. God wants to completely eradicate darkness
through us. He could have done it by His one word but He wants us to
be part of His glory, to share the victory with Him.
Although God has allowed sin, He has also kept a limit to sin growing
in man. He will never allow sin to grow such an extent it completely
destroys man. God has given us the ability through His Word and Spirit
to overcome every temptation and evil we face today. But when the
limits set by Him in our lives are reached He sounds the alarm. Now it
is our choice to heed to the alarm like Simon Peter and repent or be
like Judas hard in heart and go ahead and do what we are doing.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, in your wisdom and greatness of your heart You have allowed man
to fall so that by your sacrifice and our testimony in You we become
overcomers and victorious. Lord, You did not make us to perish like
Judas but like Simon Peter to lead your flock and bring them to You.
Lord, help us realize this alarm You are sounding through the world
events and help us bring a change in heart not only ourselves but also
in your Church so that your glory fill your people...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 22:60-62
60 But Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately,
while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered
the word of the Lord, how that he said unto him, Before the cock crow
this day thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 And he went out, and wept bitterly.
1 John 3:8-9
8 he that doeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the
beginning. To this end was the Son of God manifested, that he might
destroy the works of the devil.
9 Whosoever is begotten of God doeth no sin, because his seed abideth
in him: and he cannot sin, because he is begotten of God.
1 Corinthians 15:53-57
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal
must put on immortality.
54 But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the
saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?
56 The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law:
57 but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord
Jesus Christ.

The so called wise He makes them wander in circles
Job 12:24 - He taketh away understanding from the chiefs of the people
of the earth, And causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there
is no way.
Before I came into the Lord, the Lord had to break down first all that
I thought I knew in sense of science and knowledge of this world. This
world had put into me many theories with regards to explaining God,
miracles, creation, faith etc. It was only when God proved them nil,
then only I really started to know God.
In today's scripture the Lord is telling us through the scriptures
that people who think they know will be made to wander through their
own understanding like fools.
As I grew in the Lord I realized that the problem is not with
knowledge the problem lies in the understanding which people hold.
Science and creation in truth does not contradict God but in fact
proves Him and glorifies Him. The problem is man has very little
understanding of it and yet thinks he knows. In that little he has
made his world and therefore put God out or has make his own version
of God.
This limited knowledge and understanding is not only pertaining to the
world but even with the Bible. People who think they have the whole
knowledge of the Bible are also made fools by God. They start to
contradict their own understanding and do not know the beginning from
the end. God makes the fools of this world and also of Christianity to
go in circles.
The Lord says even the so called Bible masters would not know the
beginning from the end.
A few days back I attended a session by a person who was head of Bible
study of a well-known Church and dome theology with excellence. What I
found this person has no understanding of the basics of the faith like
what resurrection i. To confirm and let the Lord lead her further I
did met the person after the session I asked the person 2 questions to
which the person honestly denied knowing the answers of it. Many of
the questions the person answered were like programed into the person
by others. The person did show some sparks of wisdom from God but the
programing by man did not let the person grow.
There was another Church which I attended for some ceremony and the
person to break the Word got late so the Pastor took the Word and when
the head arrived at the end she knew almost every scripture and even
repeated the words which the Pastor spoke. It wasn’t the Lord Who was
speaking through them for many of the scriptures were miss quoted and
the whole sharing was mostly full of blunders. This shows the level of
human programing that goes on in Churches.
Today's scripture tells us it is God who gives the wisdom to
understand His Kingdom. It is not that we should not listen to other
people at all. What God requires of us is not to totally depend on man
for understanding. We can take help from Men and Women of God through
whom He speaks to us but we should realize He is our ultimate Teacher.
The Kingdom of God is beyond imagination and by sticking to just what
a person teaches us we limit the Kingdom of God even if what that
person is revealing is true and this disappoints God.
It is very sad that one really needs to hunt even in the thousands of
preachers and teachers of the Word to find one person whom the Lord
teaches. If one opens ones spiritual eyes and see, the Church is
filled with overgrown babes and spiritual dwarfs. Many start well but
then go into following the herd not the Shepherd. Following a sheep
who is led by the Shepherd is no problem. But the day the sheep stops
following the Shepherd we would never know and would still be
following the lost sheep. Let us keep our eyes on the Shepherd He
leads us to green pastures every day.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are full of Wisdom. There is no measure or beginning or end
to your Wisdom. You are our provider and even wisdom comes from You.
You do set man to lead us when we are lambs but even as man Jesus You
did not continue leading those given unto You but You handed them over
to the Holy Spirit Who is the true Teacher and Helper. Holy Spirit,
the Church needs You most at this time. They need to know You are the
Rock on which it is built. Without You the Bride cannot be prepared
for the wedding...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Job 12:24-25
24 He taketh away understanding from the chiefs of the people of the
earth, And causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no
way.
25 They grope in the dark without light; And he maketh them to
stagger like a drunken man.
Luke 2:46-52
46 And it came to pass, after three days they found him in the
temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both hearing them, and
asking them questions:
47 and all that heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.
48 And when they saw him, they were astonished; and his mother said
unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father
and I sought thee sorrowing.
49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? knew ye not
that I must be in my Father’s house?
50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.
51 And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth; and he was
subject unto them: and his mother kept all these sayings in her heart.
52 And Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.
1 Corinthians 1:19-21
19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And the
discernment of the discerning will I bring to nought.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of
this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21 For seeing that in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom
knew not God, it was God’s good pleasure through the foolishness of
the preaching to save them that believe.
John 16:12-13
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Matthew 23:1-10 [italic words removed]
1 Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,
2 Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat:
3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, observe and do; but
do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.
4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay on
men’s shoulders; but they will not move them with one of their
fingers.
5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad
their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the
synagogues,
7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi
[means Mater].
8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, Christ; and all
ye are brethren.
9 And call no your father upon the earth: for one is your Father,
which is in heaven.
10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, Christ.

Eyes full of adultery

2Peter 2:14 - Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from
sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with
covetous practices; cursed children:

In one of my previous mail I had mentioned how God through cataract
operation of Saul renewed his heart fully and made him Paul for our
eyes are symbolically linked to our hearts (our inner-man).

In today's message the Lord is telling us, people who lust after women
or men are through their eyes filling their hearts with adultery. Like
Jesus said one does not need to have a physical contact with another
for adultery but in one's mind one can do that.

Men and women do not realize this world wants us to sin and be
destroyed therefore by concepts of creative marketing is filling us
with thoughts of adultery. A woman does not need to cover herself
fully like Muslims women wear burkas but even a fully over clothed
woman or man by her or his ways in sense of action or seductive talk
can lead another person to adultery.

We need to realize our sense of dress, our actions and our words if
they are leading others to sin then we are doing Satan's work and not
God's.

One does not need to be ugly but also remember seduction is not
beauty. One can be beautiful and yet not lead others to sin.

There is no way one can hundred per cent be safe on this for this does
not depend on us alone but even on people around us. We can at least
make sure from our side that we keep ourselves safe by been alert as
to what we wear, do or speak and do not become instruments in Satan’s
hands for his kingdom. Paul points us to be sober in our earthly
factors or desires to be safe as children of light.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Holy and as your children You desire us too to be Holy.
You and created man and women with understanding. In spirit we are
made of your image but in the physical we are different so as to
symbolize the relation between You and man. Your relation with us is
holy and adultery is a corruption and disrespect to this relationship.
Lord help us be healing our relationship with You and thereafter with
each other...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 13:15,16
15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of
hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest haply they should
perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand
with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.

Matthew 6:22-23
22 The lamp of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single,
thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of
darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how
great is the darkness!

Matthew 7:2-5
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what
measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but
considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me cast out the mote out
of thine eye; and lo, the beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and
then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s
eye.

Matthew 5:27-30
27 Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not commit adultery:
28 but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust
after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
29 And if thy right eye causeth thee to stumble, pluck it out, and
cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy
members should perish, and not thy whole body be cast into hell.
30 And if thy right hand causeth thee to stumble, cut it off, and
cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy
members should perish, and not thy whole body go into hell.

1 Thessalonians 5:4-8
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should
overtake you as a thief:
5 for ye are all sons of light, and sons of the day: we are not of
the night, nor of darkness;
6 so then let us not sleep, as do the rest, but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night: and they that are drunken
are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, since we are of the day, be sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of
salvation.

Live and walk in the Spirit
Galatians 5:25 - If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Today's message is a very important message to all of us. We all
believe in Jesus Christ and also call ourselves Christians. This term
Christian literally means 'little Christ'. It is claimed this term was
used in the early Apostolic Church by others as slang for the
believers of Jesus Christ because they behaved like Him and were so
full of Him.
In today's message the word translated as 'live' just does not mean to
be alive but means more as to enjoy life. Also the word translated as
'walk' just does not mean to travel or follow, but emphasizes on
following in an orderly manner more like an army that marches.
The Lord is telling us today, if we really are children of Spirit,
enjoying life in Spirit and not in the flesh, let us also walk in an
orderly manner. Let us look as people of one destination having one
purpose in life and walking step by step, hand in hand towards that
purpose.
One of the main problems in Christians is that most of us became
Christians or are Christians to save our own lives. We are more
bothered about going to heaven ourselves than any other thing.
When Jesus Christ came on earth as man He did not come to worry where
He goes but was more worried about where we go. He knew if He did the
will of the Father, the Father would make sure He is with Him and will
be glorified in Him.
Our purpose should be Christ's purpose. We should stop living more for
ourselves and live more for the Kingdom of God. Our thought should not
be where we are going but where our brothers or sisters are going. If
we are in Spirit, the Spirit of the Lord Who is the Power of Jesus'
resurrection will make sure that we too will be resurrected and will
be glorified in His Son for Jesus called us brother and we are part of
the Family. How can the Father leave his sons to perish, whom He loves
so dearly that He paid a great, great price to gather them?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, forgive us for we are called by your Name but are far from
carrying your Name in our lives. People who see us ask us which God we
follow for they do not see You in us. You are almighty God and ever
loving God. Even in your rest we would not let the donkey to die in
the pity, You will make sure we will be saved. Lord, help us to trust
in You for our lives and more do the purpose You have given us in your
Son Jesus Christ. Let people know You by just seeing us and know your
glory by our way of life...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Galatians 5:19-26
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the
which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that
they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the
affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another,
envying one another.
Matthew 11:28-30
28 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will
give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in
heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The Christian fools
Luke 24:25 - And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart
to believe in all that the prophets have spoken!
These days the most talked about religion is Christianity. It is not
because of the Christ like character which is seen in its people or
the glory of God shining in them, but people are discussing the ills
of Christianity.
Yesterday on BBC they were showing how people were praying to the lady
who is called Santa Muerte (Saint of Death). It is only because she is
dressed in women clothes like 'mother Mary' with bead chains around
her neck you figure it is a 'she', since that figure does not have
skin or flesh and is just plain skeleton. They showed people doing the
same traditions and prayers around it just as the Catholics do to
their saints.
More than these idol followings of the Catholics today, the most
talked about is the end of the world and the rapture announcement by
people of the Believer Churches. We hear almost every week one or
another Pastor announces the last date for mankind. So much so, it has
now become less amusing and more an irritation and ridicule for
Christians because un-believers laugh at the Bible and point to these
dates when someone goes to share the Word with them. We also have
many, many Christians the world over who are almost ready to be zapped
any time from the face of this earth and hope to find themselves in
Heaven any day.
In today's message the Lord is telling us the words which He spoke
calling these people 'foolish men' and 'slow of heart'. The Greek word
translated as foolish is 'anoetos' which means lack of understanding.
The words slow of heart refer not to the human organ but to the inner
man.
The reason why people lack understanding of the Bible is not because
they do not believe or study it. Many of these people who give these
end day dates or speak of rapture may give great understanding from
the scriptures to justify their thoughts but yet they make mistakes
and the reason the Lord tells us is they do not believe all the
prophets.
People take a few scriptures here and there and build their house of
these few small rocks. Such people are referred to in scriptures as
people who dwell in the spiritual state called Samaria which
symbolizes rocky mountain. We are now in a period before the Church of
God comes in glory, where the Lord is going to make an example of
these Samarians along with (false) Jerusalem and Assyria (people who
pursue earthly prosperity).
The reason why these people dwell in Samaria is the same reason why
Paul gave for not giving solid food to the Corinthians but gave some
to the Hebrews and that was because they were slow of heart. Slow of
heart means being spiritually lethargic. These people may preach great
sermons but are far from doing what they preach. They are people who
do not exercise their faith. They may say long prayers and even shout
at the top of their voice and shake the congregation in between but
their communication with God is nil. Their spiritual discernment is
like a person going to the forest with just a candle in hand. They
will not know of danger until the wild animal is just over them and
even at a slight breeze their candle extinguishes and they become
totally blind. In short they are more carnal and less spiritual.
Let us understand when Jesus performed the transfiguration He took 3
persons with Him to witness it so that it would be confirmed by the
mouth of 3. The Gospel would have been recorded by one but the Lord
works by His principles and confirms everything by at least the mouth
of 2 or 3. The Bible is structured in such a way that each and every
major event is recorded twice or thrice. Son witnesses for Himself,
the Father witnesses for Him and we too witness Him.
Let us not be slow of heart and a foolish nation but let us exercise
our inner-man and let us build our house firm on the one Rock by
understanding the whole Word and not on many small rocks.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You alone are Truth and the Rock of our Salvation. In your
wisdom knowing the weak and foolish man You gave us the Word designed
in a way that we will not be misled by the powers of this world. Your
Word has everything within its self and confirms all within itself.
Lord, work on our hearts and quicken it. In your Name we rebuke and
bind the deaf and dumb spirit which rules over the hearts of many
Christians. May the world know You alone are Truth and your Word is
Truth...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Mark 9:2-4
2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and
John, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart by themselves:
and he was transfigured before them;
3 and his garments became glistering, exceeding white, so as no
fuller on earth can whiten them.
4 And there appeared unto them Elijah with Moses: and they were
talking with Jesus.
John 5:31-32
31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.
32 It is another that beareth witness of me; and I know that the
witness which he witnesseth of me is true.
John 8:17-18
17 Yea and in your law it is written, that the witness of two men is true.
18 I am he that beareth witness of myself, and the Father that sent
me beareth witness of me.
Luke 24:27
27 And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted
to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
Isaiah 10:10-13
10 As my hand hath found the kingdoms of the idols, whose graven
images did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
11 shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to
Jerusalem and her idols?
12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that, when the Lord hath
performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will
punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria [means
earthly prosperity], and the glory of his high looks.
13 For he hath said, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and
by my wisdom; for I have understanding: and I have removed the bounds
of the peoples, and have robbed their treasures, and like a valiant
man I have brought down them that sit on thrones:
Hebrew 5:12-14
12 For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have
need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first
principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of
milk, and not of solid food.
13 For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the
word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
14 But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of
use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
1 Corinthians 3:1-3
1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as
unto carnal, as unto babes in Christ.
2 I fed you with milk, not with meat; for ye were not yet able to
bear it: nay, not even now are ye able;
3 for ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you jealousy and
strife, are ye not carnal, and do ye not walk after the manner of men?

The Word of Truth which bears Fruit
Colossians 1:6 – Which (the Word of Truth of the Gospel) is come unto
you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth
also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God
in truth:
When we give the Gospel to any person, many of us start getting
worried if that person will be saved or not?
We should realize that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not just words.
When we tell someone about the hope in Jesus Christ we are speaking
active words. These words are instruments which start working in that
person even if he or she likes it or not.
If that person is healthy from inside, the Word will immediately start
to show fruit. But if the person has a lot on corruption inside then
even though we do not see any fruit we should not be fooled to think
the Word is not working. In such persons the Word starts to work on
the infected areas and either heals them or starts to prune.
Since it is the Word of the Living God it will always be active.
Depending on His mercy and the heart of the person the Word takes a
slow and soft approach or a fast and hard approach, but one thing is
assured the Word does do its work. In people in whom the infection is
too large and the person does not show resistance to the infection, in
such persons when pruned there remains nothing left of them and they
become calamities to vanity. Whatever may be the level of infection
inside, if that person shows even a small sign of resistance to the
infection (repentance) then the Word has the ability to heal and make
new. Therefore let us always remember the Gospel we share is a very
powerful Word which always brings result. We should also be thoughtful
of the state of that person and try to bring that person into a state
of repentance so that when the Gospel is given healing happens more
than pruning and not only the results are good but also the process is
good.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are a Living and Omnipotent God. Your Word is part of You
and cannot be separated from You. You gave us the Word that works in
us and will surely bring its result before returning to You. Lord,
when we speak unto others the Living Word, help us always remember
your Word will work towards bearing fruit in that person. Help us
bring that person to a state that they receive your Word more
willingly with a repent full heart so that Fruit shows in them. Lord,
we give thanks and praise for the work You are doing in those, whom
You have used us to give the Gospel of Jesus Christ...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Colossians 1:3-6
3 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
praying always for you,
4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for
all the saints;
5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which
you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,
6 which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is
bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard
and knew the grace of God in truth;
Hebrew 4:12-13
12 For the word of God is living, and active, and sharper than any
two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit,
of both joints and marrow, and quick to discern the thoughts and
intents of the heart.
13 And there is no creature that is not manifest in his sight: but
all things are naked and laid open before the eyes of him with whom we
have to do.

Let His Light shine
John 1:7,8 - The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the
Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light,
but was sent to bear witness of that Light. That was the true Light,
which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
When John the Baptist was born his father prophesized by the power of
the Holy Spirit that John would 'give light to them that sit in
darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of
peace'. Yet in John he is introduced as one who is a witness to the
light but not the light.
How could one who gives light not be the light?
In today's message John the Apostle puts Jesus Christ as the true
Light. We, including John the Baptist and even John the Apostle are
not the Light or the source but we still give light unto others and
are even call as the light lamps. We emit the Light of Christ through
us unto those around us.
This clearly shows that it is not our good deeds that needs to shine
but the good that God does through us that needs to shine.
In short a Christian is not a person who does good, but a person who
allows God to do good through him or her. It is not our efforts that
count but we allowing God to do His work through us that counts.
Today onwards let all at the end of the day not reflect on what good
we have done but let us look at if we allowed God to work through us
for His glory, did we become the light stand for Him to shine His
Light through us?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are or Father our Creator and You alone are our Provider.
All things come from You alone. You created everything and said it is
very good. It is our lacking that causes them to be misused and become
bad. We by ourselves will never be able to overcome the lacking, but
by You and with You we are make complete. Lord, use us in any and
every way for your glory and purpose...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Luke 1:67-80
67 And his father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Spirit, and
prophesied, saying,
68 Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and
redeemed his people,
69 And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his
servant David;
70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been
since the world began:
71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all
that hate us;
72 To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his
holy covenant;
73 The oath which he sware to our father Abraham,
74 That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the
hand of our enemies might serve him without fear,
75 In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
76 And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for
thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
77 To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of
their sins,
78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on
high hath visited us,
79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of
death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
80 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the
deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.
John 5:33-36
33 Ye sent unto John, and he bare witness unto the truth.
34 But I receive not testimony from man: but these things I say, that
ye might be saved.
35 He was a burning and a shining light: and ye were willing for a
season to rejoice in his light.
36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which
the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear
witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
John 8:12
12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the
world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have
the light of life.

Why people leave the Church?
John 6:66 - Upon this many of his disciples went back, and walked no
more with him.
Today's message which coincidentally has the number 666 talks about
people who followed Jesus, listening to His teachings, been fed by
Him, healed by Him, yet left Him because of a statement they heard Him
say. After that they hated Him so much that they sought to kill Him
and thus Jesus for a period stopped visiting Judea.
Had Jesus not spoken to them about eating His flesh they would have
stayed with Him and continued to follow Him.
We as people of the world would have suggested to Jesus to continue
and give them time and slowly by slowly make them understand and then
possibly they would have accepted His teaching on the flesh.
Forget about that time even today if I walk into a congregation and
give a teaching on this very matter I am very sure more than half the
congregation would either throw me out or would walk out of that hall.
Many Pastors or Preachers refrain from giving people solid food for
the reason that they would lose their congregation. They continue
feeding them spiritual milk for years and years and therefore we find
most congregations filled with overgrown babies of 15yrs to 20yrs and
above in the Lord.
If we see, before Jesus spoke these words He had fed about five
thousand with just 5 loaves and 2 fishes, He walked on water, healed
people etc. Even after doing all these, yet just one statement caused
them to overwrite all these and walk away leaving Jesus.
It is not that we need to give people solid food in the start but
gradually build them with first milk and experiencing the glory of God
and then give them solid food. But not giving solid food at all may
cause you to have a very large congregation or lots of people to
fellowship with but then you are just fooling yourself by thinking you
are doing God's work.
Jesus said those who left Him were not His sheep for they were not
given from the Father therefore Jesus did not regret them leaving.
We need to ask ourselves how many among our congregation are really
the Lord's sheep? Even if they lift their hands up and praise God,
they are there only because they need healing, food, clothing,
housing, job, money, all in all they are concern with only physical
earthly needs.
When we start telling them to give up their desires and live in the
desires of Jesus Christ we will hardly see people calling themselves
Christians. Unless we are ready to eat the flesh of Jesus which means
to make the desires of Jesus our own, we are not confirmed as the
Lord’s sheep. Jesus says only His sheep follow Him.
Like the number of the scripture puts it, those who are not His sheep
leave for they are children not of the Lord but of Satan. We cannot be
the Lord's children as well as Satan's by saying Lord, Lord and still
having our hearts lost in the pleasures and desires of this world.
One day the Word of God will expose our heart, so let us today start
not to harden it and let us surrender ourselves to the Lord and being
less of ourselves let us be more of Him.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, our flesh is weak but our spirit willing. Help us Lord that we
not be children of the flesh, born of the flesh and going to dust for
the flesh goes to dust. We are your children, children of your Spirit
born of the spirit, led by the Spirit and having eternal life, for
from the Spirit comes life...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
John 6:53-69
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except
ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no
life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life;
and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me,
and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he
that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your
fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread
shall live for ever.
59 These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said,
This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he
said unto them, Doth this offend you?
62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the
words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from
the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray
him.
65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto
me, except it were given unto him of my Father.
66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more
with him.
67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou
hast the words of eternal life.
69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of
the living God.
Hebrew 5:12-14;6:1- 3
12 For when by reason of the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have
need again that some one teach you the rudiments of the first
principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of
milk, and not of solid food.
13 For every one that partaketh of milk is without experience of the
word of righteousness; for he is a babe.
14 But solid food is for fullgrown men, even those who by reason of
use have their senses exercised to discern good and evil.
1 Wherefore leaving the doctrine of the first principles of Christ,
let us press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of
repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
2 of the teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of
resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
3 And this will we do, if God permit.

Submit to earthly authorities
1 Peter 2:13,14 - Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the
Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; or unto governors,
as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and
for the praise of them that do well.
As a Christian we need to submit to the authorities that are set on us
like the councillors, ministers, police, prime minister, president
etc. As Peter puts it in today's message it is the Lord Who puts these
people over us for the punishment of evildoers and for the praise of
those who do good.
Now, many would say, do we need to abide by those who are evil and are
set in those positions?
If one reads the book of Samuel the Israelite did not have anyone
ruling over them other than the Lord through Men of God but when they
kept on insisting that they want to have a human to lead them, the
Lord set men over His people. They got corrupt leaders because their
hearts were not right and these leaders persecuted and oppressed them.
When we see leaders not behaving like good leaders we the congregation
need to look inside us and see are we walking in the way of the Lord?
Jesus Christ is the Prince of Peace and the Lord God is the giver of
Peace. Peace is not fought for, for it is not in any human's hands. If
we want peace we should be looking for it from the one who gives it
and if we be like Christ walking in His instructions we too will be
like the Prince of Peace having authority over peace.
Prosperity flourishes only where peace exist. To put us under the
curse of poverty Satan tries to take away our peace and make us
concentrate on cursing and complaining against those set over us.
Instead of doing that let us audit our own hearts and pray from the
Lord's mercy and guidance on ourselves and those with us.
The Bible does say as we grow in the Lord one day would come where
again Men of God would administer over His people.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are our King and Lord. With You we do not need anyone to
guide or lead us. Since our foolish ancestors complained against You,
You have put humans over us. These humans have persecuted your people
and at times taken away the prosperity of many. Help is Lord to
realize that when we are in You abiding by your instructions no one
else has power over us and can affect our blessings in You. Instead of
complaining help us correct ourselves...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Samuel 8:4-22
4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and
came to Samuel unto Ramah,
5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in
thy ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.
6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to
judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD.
7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people
in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but
they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them.
8 According to all the works which they have done since the day that
I brought them up out of Egypt even unto this day, wherewith they have
forsaken me, and served other gods, so do they also unto thee.
9 Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest
solemnly unto them, and shew them the manner of the king that shall
reign over them.
10 And Samuel told all the words of the LORD unto the people that
asked of him a king.
11 And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign
over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for himself, for
his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his
chariots.
12 And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over
fifties; and will set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest,
and to make his instruments of war, and instruments of his chariots.
13 And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be
cooks, and to be bakers.
14 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your
oliveyards, even the best of them, and give them to his servants.
15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards,
and give to his officers, and to his servants.
16 And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your
goodliest young men, and your asses, and put them to his work.
17 He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.
18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye
shall have chosen you; and the LORD will not hear you in that day.
19 Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and
they said, Nay; but we will have a king over us;
20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may
judge us, and go out before us, and fight our battles.
21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed
them in the ears of the LORD.
22 And the LORD said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make
them a king. And Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man
unto his city.
1 Corinthians 6:1-2
1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before
the unjust, and not before the saints?
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the
world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest
matters?

Do not put God is your small world
John 11: 51, 52 - And this spake he not of himself: but being high
priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together
in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
The biggest problem with most people not understanding scriptures is
that they try to put God into their small world.
In today's message, all the chief priests and the Pharisees were of
one mind concerning Jesus and the Jews but among them was one Caiaphas
who was the high priest that year who really paid attention to the
words which Jesus spoke. Although he did not believe in Jesus as
Saviour yet he knew Jesus had not come only for the Jews but for all
the children of God who were Jews and not Jews.
People take a few scriptures and make a world of these scriptures and
all their conclusions are based on just those few scriptures. They
lose the understanding of Who Jesus is and the Word of God because of
these many small worlds they have created.
For example they will talk of the end of the world being at hand and
at the same time talk of Jesus appearing as man and ruling the world
for a thousand years and therefore talk of rapture happening when
Jesus comes. I do not understand why people rapture when their King
comes to rule? Does Jesus as man rule only the wicked if the people of
God all disappear? What happens to Satan during these thousand years,
is he dealt with before or locked up and again released at the end and
then destroyed by Jesus and His Angels? Where does the beast and the
false prophet picture in these events? Does the false prophet come
before or after the thousand years?
In scriptures we read of the Lord rule which will be eternal so after
the thousand years if it stops, it goes against scriptures. During
these thousand years of rule scriptures talk of peace. If peace rules
among the evil people who are left behind after the rapture do they
become Christians or still deny Christ and yet have peace? If they
become Christians, do they too rapture at the end of the thousand
years? Scriptures do not talk about a second rapture. If not are they
left at the mercy of Satan and his army for the 3 and half years of
great destruction which scriptures talk of. When do Christians become
sons of God in all this? Paul talks about creation coming in obedience
to man when he becomes a son of God.
We have denominations because man has made many of these small worlds
and the confusion comes when they try to patch them together.
Jesus though born a Jew was the first person to openly speak against
the Jews. He is God and Saviour not of the Jews alone but of the whole
world. We are not children of God out of heredity but out of promise,
we inherit due to promise.
People do not realize the people who follow Judaism actually consider
Jesus as a false prophet and believe He is in hell suffering for the
blasphemes He committed. On the other hand Muslims respect Jesus as a
prophet and even given Him an important role in the end days of
destroying the Mahdi (the evil one similar to the false prophet in the
Bible). But in all this they have created a fictitious Jesus contrary
to the Bible so as to not prove the teachings of their prophet wrong.
Let us understand although the Bible has origins in the Middle East
yet it has to do with the whole of creation and it is to do with the
whole of mankind throughout generations.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, man is far from You and suffers because he does not know You.
Lord, we pray You help us circumcise our hearts that we may come near
your Throne of mercy and be healed in our hearts. As we surrender
ourselves open our minds and bring us to know You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
John 11:47-54
47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and
said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the
Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same
year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die
for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year,
he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;
52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather
together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.
53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him
to death.
54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went
thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called
Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.
Revelation 20:1-15
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the
bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the
Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a
seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the
thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a
little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given
unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not
worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark
upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned
with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years
were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on
such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God
and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out
of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to
battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four
quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to
battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the
camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down
from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire
and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Not a ghost but the Spirit of God
1 Corinthians 2:12 - Now we have received, not the spirit of the
world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things
that are freely given to us of God.
Some of the translations use the word Holy Ghost for the Holy Spirit.
In the Bible we need to very careful of the words we use and what they
mean.
The word ghost is defined as a spirit of a man who is dead.
Firstly although we have received the Spirit of Jesus Christ we have
not received the spirit of a man but the Spirit of God. Secondly by
using the word ghost we are declaring that Jesus Christ has not rising
again. Either way we are destroying our any hopes to salvation.
In today's message the Lord is telling us we have not received the
spirit of cosmos (translated as world). Like I wrote in one of my
previous mails cosmos is a name given to an order or system or power
which is earthly not necessary of planet earth but of the level of
creation in which we exist.
Because we have received the Spirit Who is beyond our system therefore
our thoughts and our ways are beyond the system. We being spiritual
truly judge everything yet we ourselves are not judged. If we get into
the grammar, our judging is basically that which is visual or earthly
or natural and that which is carnal or connected to the inner-man like
thoughts, character, attitude, will etc. With regards to spiritual
things we simple see things as they are as shown to us by the Spirit
of the Lord.
Like Paul writes the things which we give importance are not
understood by the people who have not received the Spirit of God.
Even if we believe in Jesus Christ and baptized in Him yet it is not
necessary that we have received the Holy Spirit. By believing we are
assured the promise of the Holy Spirit but receiving Him or not is our
choice.
In the book of Acts people were very clear if they received or not the
Holy Spirit and that is by seeing the manifestation of the gifts of
the Holy Spirit in them, like tongues or prophesy etc.
If we do not find these gifts in us and we have accepted Jesus Christ
as our Lord and Saviour then we just need to ask of Him while emptying
ourselves and we are assured the Spirit of God. Understand two masters
cannot live in a house so if we have the spirit of cosmos in us we
will not be able to receive the Spirit of God. So to receive the
Spirit of God let us reject the spirit of cosmos by the knowledge that
things of this world even if exist have no power over us. We living in
this world should not consider ourselves as citizens of this world but
aliens or expatriates.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Spirit and through your Son Jesus Christ we have
received your Spirit. It was through your Spirit that all things were
created. Holy Spirit, You alone know things of the Father for You are
of the Father. Grow in us, teach us, guide us and build us for our
eternal home in Heaven. While we are here in this world let us not be
attached to this world and lose You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Corinthians 2:9-16
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither
have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit
searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man
which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the
Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit
which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given
to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual
things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because
they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is
judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.
Acts 2:2-4
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it
sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak
with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 10:44-48
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all
them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as
many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured
out the gift of the Holy Spirit.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then
answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which
have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then
prayed they him to tarry certain days.
1 Corinthians 12:7-11
7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another
the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of
healing by the same Spirit;
10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to
another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to
another the interpretation of tongues:
11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing
to every man severally as he will.
Ephesians 1:12-14
12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth,
the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye
were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of
the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

To MountZion - Page 32 Empty The Rapture

Post  Admin Mon 30 May 2011, 2:40 pm

The Rapture
1 Corinthians 15:22,23 - For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ
shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the
firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
These days after the end of the world the most discussed topic is the
rapture. Many people are misled that the people from the congregation
would suddenly disappear or taken up in the cloud like Paul puts it.
The only rapture that is happening since sometime and more often now
is the con preachers or ministry leaders who are disappearing with
from the face of churches while leaving the congregation out of money.
Since long I have held back commenting on the rapture but today the
Lord wants to send this message out so that His people are not misled
or walking in the dark like blind people.
All believers who sleep in Christ will wake up and those who exist
during the last day when Christ comes again on the clouds will stand
before Him for judgment. They would not be in flesh for the shout of
the Lord along with His Angels would have destroyed all physical
creation. All from the time of Noah till the last day who have been
saved from Hell would stand before His Judgment Throne and those who
abide by His Word would enter Heaven and those who do not would be put
in the Lake of Fire. This Lake of Fire is even worse than the Hell
which the unsaved were put for in Hell they suffered according to
their sins, but here there is uniform suffering for rejecting the
Prince of Peace even after knowing Him. In all this when is the
rapture and who rapture?
The rapture or sudden taking away of people and they disappearing from
the face of the earth does happen before the coming of Jesus Christ in
His glory. The people who will be rapture are very specifically
defined and Jesus puts them as those who were working in the field and
again as those at the grinding stone. In today's message they are
called the First Fruits and in the book of Revelation they are also
called the ones who sing a New Song. In John 17 when Jesus was praying
He said as those who were given unto Him and in the Old Testament the
Lord says from whom He did not lose even one.
These who rapture are those who are the Elect whom God selected also
known as chosen ones to work in His Kingdom.
Throughout history these elect have been coming through in tinkles,
but during the end days there would be many of them among us. It is
written that among those working in Kingdom at that time nearly half
would be the elect. These elect are overcomers of the flesh and
examples in each Fruit of the 12 Fruits of the Holy Spirit and
therefore called as chosen from the 12 tribes of Princes of God
(Israel).
It is only these Elect who exist at that time will rapture or be taken
off from the face of the earth. They rapture because they are the
first resurrection. These are the few who do not die the physical
death and come into their spiritual body as Angels along with the
other Elect who sleep in Christ. The numbers of them is given as
1,44,000 and are those who come along with Jesus on the clouds to
fight Satan (dragon and beast), the false Prophet and their army.
These are the ones who know the Name of the Lord and have authority in
the Name.
A clue is also given when the rapture will happen and it after the
event of the two witnesses who have power to call wrath from Heaven at
their command and whom the world fears. They would be killed and for 3
days their bodies would be lying on the street for no one would have
the courage to touch them even though the people would be rejoicing
their death. It is at that time the Lord says it is sufficient coming
back to life they are lifted up. It is around this time the rapture
happens.
Even if there are believers at that time they would not rapture except
for those who are the Elect and are the First Fruits in Christ. In the
book of Joshua they are symbolized as those were selected to first
cross the river Jordan (which means inheritance) while the priest held
the Ark of Covenant. These Elect are those who are part of those who
truly carry the Cross of Christ and are the ones who gather all
believers before Jesus Christ on the Judgment Day, stand beside Him
when He judges all believers and they are the ones who will rules over
the Angels in Heaven.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You have created us in this weak flesh with a purpose to
overcome the carnal and proving ourselves as worthy to be your Sons
with the help of your Spirit. Lord in your mercy You save all your
people (Israel) being satisfied with the efforts of a few. Lord, we
thank You for your mercy and we pray or the Elect whom You have chosen
amongst us that they shine with your glory and be abundantly blessed
in doing your work...
We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 24:40-41,46- 51
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken,
and the other left.
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord
delayeth his coming;
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink
with the drunken;
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not
for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the
hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Revelation 14:1-5
1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him
an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written
in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and
as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers
harping with their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before
the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but
the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the
earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are
virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.
These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and
to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault
before the throne of God.
Romans 14:9-12
9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he
might be Lord both of the dead and living.
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at
nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of
Christ.
11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow
to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
John 17:5-8
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the
glory which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of
the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have
kept thy word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me
are of thee.
8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they
have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee,
and they have believed that thou didst send me.
Mark 13:24-29
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in
heaven shall be shaken.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with
great power and glory.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his
elect [chosen - not to be mistaken with the Elect] from the four
winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of
heaven.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet
tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass,
know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
Joshua 3:12-13
12 Now therefore take you twelve men out of the tribes of Israel, out
of every tribe a man.
13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the
priests that bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth,
shall rest in the waters of Jordan, that the waters of Jordan shall be
cut off from the waters that come down from above; and they shall
stand upon an heap.
1 Corinthians 15:50-54
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for
the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,
and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal
must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this
mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass
the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1 Corinthians 6:2-3
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the
world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest
matters?
3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that
pertain to this life?
Revelation 11:3-19
3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall
prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in
sackcloth.
4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing
before the God of the earth.
5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth,
and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in
this manner be killed.
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of
their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and
to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that
ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and
shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city,
which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was
crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall
see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer
their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and
make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two
prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God
entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell
upon them which saw them.
12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up
hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies
beheld them.
13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part
of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven
thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God
of heaven.
14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.
15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in
heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of
our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their
seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and
wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great
power, and hast reigned.
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of
the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give
reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them
that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which
destroy the earth.
19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in
his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and
voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Safeguarding the eyes
Acts 13:11 - And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and
thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately
there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking
some to lead him by the hand.
We read in today's message Barjesus who was also called Elymas seem to
be a wise man (because his name was that) was trying to sway away the
Roman proconsul (a post like that of a governor) when Paul and
Barnabas was preaching to him. Paul under the power of the Holy Spirit
made him blind for a period of time.
What message the Lord is giving us which we need to understand is why
the Holy Spirit led Paul to blind Elymas? We also need to remember
that before the change in Paul’s life from Saul he too was made blind
for a period of time.
Eyes are a very important part of our body and have a very special
function to give vision, but Jesus also spoke of the eyes being a
window to our inner man. Our eyes are also an important element / part
of our heart / inner man. If one understand today’s message many who
have problems of the eyes can receive healing, also you can learn to
improve the situation of your inner man / heart by taking care of your
eyes.
The easiest way to impress a woman is to tell her she got beautiful
eyes and the easiest way to impress a Believer is to tell he or she
got a beautiful heart.
When the Lord explained to me the connection between the eyes and the
heart by the structure of the eyes and functioning of its various part
it was just awesome. I would not be able to explain that details in
these short messages but you need to understand the deep connection
between the two.
What we see common between Saul (before his being born-again) and
Elymas is the hardness of their hearts. Saul at that time was a hard
core man of traditions following the Jewish teachings as practiced by
his forefathers. Elymas on the other hand was a man filled with
worldly understandings which made him feel powerful so kept his name
as wise man Elymas even though his real name was ironically Barjesus
(son of Jesus / Joshua).
In the case of Saul his eyes were made good when the covering of his
eyes which when fell off were like fish scales. Paul was restored
sight and also made a new person by a cataract operation performed by
the Lord on him. But in Elymas' case he must have received sight after
the period of blindness but the records do not show he had a cataract
operation like Paul and therefore he was not a renewed man working for
the Kingdom of God.
Understand dear brothers and sisters in Christ a part of our inner man
is symbolised by our eyes and things of the spirit are manifested in
the flesh. If you have eyes problems start to work on your heart and
you will see your eye problems disappear.
We also need to understand every bit of visual information which
enters through our eyes goes and settles in our inner-man. Like a
bottle of coke which we drink, the impurities take more than 3 to 7
days to be cleansed out of our system so also any picture which enters
through our eyes also takes a pretty long time to be cleansed out. We
may watch a provocative visual thinking they are harmless but we do
not realize the harm they do within us. They may be sexual in nature,
or violent, horror, or matters which are against the Truth, they all
start to create a darkness with in and work to extinguish the Light of
God within us.
So let us protect our inner-man by making the right choice of what we
see or read. Things that edify us or build us are good should be
regularly read or seen, but things which create darkness within us
should be avoided even if they look harmless.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You have created us awesomely. You made sure we are given
sufficient warnings of the things which are not visible so that we can
the necessary steps. The sicknesses of our body are just the
manifestations of the sickness of our spiritual body. As son of man
Jesus Christ You were without blemish because your heart was perfect
and inner-man without corruption. Lord, help us guard our inner-man by
specially guarding our eyes. Help us discern what we should read and
what we should see. Whatever problems we are facing of our eyes help
us to work on that area of our hearts so that not only our hearts but
also our eyes are set right...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 9:3-8, 17-18
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there
shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul,
Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom
thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me
to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it
shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a
voice, but seeing no man.
8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he
saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into
Damascus.
17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting
his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that
appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou
mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales:
and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
Matthew 6:20-23
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth
nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor
steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single
[whole], thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of
darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how
great is that darkness!

Sometimes devil sometimes god
Acts 28:4-6
4 So when the natives [barbarians] saw the creature [snake] hanging
from his hand, they said to one another, "No doubt this man is a
murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not
allow to live."
5 But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm.
6 However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly
fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no
harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.
The Greek word used for the natives is 'barbarous' from which we get
the English word 'barbarian'. When we use the word barbarian we
visualize a person with a violent nature, but in fact the word was
used by the Greek for any foreigner who did not know the Greek
language. It is actually like the word 'vernacular' we use for people
who do not speak English but their native language. It is funny that
we all who do not know the Greek language are actually barbarians.
What we see in today's message that these native people who were not
of the same intellect as those considered standard in the world at one
time, were amazed at how Paul was saved from the shipwreck but later
when they saw a snake wrap itself around his wrist they though god had
cursed him and were expecting him to fall and die. But when Paul shock
off the snake and nothing happened to him they went to the other
extreme of making Paul a god.
We make laugh at these people as foolish people but most of us even
Christians behave just like these people. When disaster comes on
people we consider them cursed and await their total destruction but
when they bounce back we actually land up making them like gods by
praising them endlessly.
In the end days it is said Satan the beast is going to deceive the
world on a global level when his death like wound would be healed.
This wound is not yet been inflected on him but within a few years
when he gets the wound all would flee from him but later when he gets
healed the very same people would be totally under his control making
him their god. All this happens because we do not speak the language
of God. Like the word 'vernacular' and 'barbarian' the Kingdom of God
has a word for people who do not speak His language and that is
'faithless'. When people lack the knowledge and understanding of God's
Word they easily become faithless people and are swayed by events.
They would be waiting for the rapture, end of the world at the snap of
a figure.
The Bible tell us the Truth is hidden from them because they desire
more the things of this world and in small things are dishonest.
Let us stop being led by sight but by the Spirit; walking in the light
of His Word and not becoming children of vanity.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and full of wisdom and knowledge. We are called your
children but many among us lack knowledge and understanding. You have
given us your Spirit of Truth to fill us with knowledge and
understanding of your Kingdom. Holy Spirit sanity this temple and fill
us with more and more of You. Help us to abide by You and let ever
thought of ours be not our but your thought in us. Let our ways not be
the ways of this world but your ways. Let us not be children of vanity
but of light...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 16:8-11
8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done
wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser
than the children of light.
9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon
[worldly treasures] of unrighteousness; that, when ye fail, they may
receive you into everlasting habitations.
10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in
much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon,
who will commit to your trust the true riches?
John 12:35-36
35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with
you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he
that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the
children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did
hide himself from them.
1 Thessalonians 5:4-10
4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should
overtake you as a thief.
5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we
are not of the night, nor of darkness.
6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken
are drunken in the night.
8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the
breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of
salvation.
9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by
our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live
together with him.

Make good work perfect
Hebrew 13:21 - Make you perfect in every good work to do his will,
working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus
Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Today's message is a very important message especially for the men and
women of God who work in the Lord’s Vineyard. There are many who are
doing good work in the Lord's Kingdom and the Lord is telling them He
is not satisfied with their good work.
Our God is a God of perfection. No doubt He is patient and slow to
anger but He is a never compromising God. He has His priorities set
and He knows their order is the perfect order for He is full of wisdom
and all knowing. When we do work for the Lord we find we are not
receiving the results to that extent which we should and this is all
because our work is not perfect.
In today's message the Lord is pointing to those factors why our work
is not perfect.
1) Our work is not according to His Will.
Most fail here because we lack understanding of the Word of God. We go
to preach and convert people to Christians. We even do healings and
miracles yet there are very high chances that we are still not doing
His Will.
2) What we do is not pleasing in His sight.
Let me take this with an example. Let us say we come across a man
naked on the street and we out of love give him a shirt and pant to
clothe him. This is good, but if that man wraps the shirt around his
waist and the pants around his head, the purpose of the clothing is
not fully fulfilled. So for us we need to not just give the clothing
but also make sure he wears it well.
Most of us do good work but lose on the purpose of the work we do.
However great our work may be but if the purpose is not achieved then
the work is incomplete. Even if the purpose is half achieved yet the
work is incomplete. For God purpose hold more priority than the work
or the efforts. Along with purpose, process is also given great
importance in the Kingdom of God. Thus good work done in ungodly way
is not acceptable to God.
These two points also need to be done through Jesus Christ, keeping
Him as the corner stone and should glorify Him and Him alone.
Therefore those who work for the Kingdom of God and are visible in the
eyes of man run greater difficulty of lifting Jesus Christ above
themselves.
Let us just not do good work but let us do work according to the will
of God in a way which pleases God and glorifies Jesus Christ.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we thank and praise You. You are a Living God, Who is ever
seeing, nothing is hidden from You. Whatever we do, the purpose and
our ways are known to You. We cannot fool You even though we may fool
the world. Lord, help us understand your Will through your Spirit and
guide us that we know the priority and purpose which pleases You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scripture]
Galatians 5:14-26
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt
love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not
consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the
lust of the flesh.
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against
the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye
cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies,
21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the
which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that
they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the
affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another,
envying one another.
Romans 12:2
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Ephesians 4:11-16
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some,
evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,
for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge
of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature
of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and
carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and
cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all
things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by
that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working
in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the
edifying of itself in love.
Matthew 7:18-27
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt
tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and
cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in
thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a
rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them
not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon
the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew,
and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Why people do not understand the Bible
Acts 28:25-27
25 And when they agreed not among themselves, they departed after
that Paul had spoken one word, Well spake the Holy Spirit through
Isaiah the prophet unto your fathers,
26 saying, Go thou unto this people, and say, By hearing ye shall
hear, and shall in no wise understand; And seeing ye shall see, and
shall in no wise perceive:
27 For this people's heart is waxed gross, And their ears are dull of
hearing, And their eyes they have closed; Lest, haply they should
perceive with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand
with their heart, And should turn again, And I should heal them.
There are people who have read the Bible and who discuss the Bible
many a times. They would point out all the so called contradictions
and faults according to them. They even go to the extent to read other
books of all the other religions and dig deep into history but will
never make an attempt to really understand the Bible.
Just some moments back I was read a message for someone trying to find
out why we do not follow laws like not to eat pig but then also
accuses Christianity of being a violent religion because we have laws
in the Old Testament instructing us to kill pagans which we also do
not follow.
In today's message Paul says these people if they want can get to
understand the instructions which the Lord has given through His Word
but even though they make a show of reading and hearing yet they shut
their hearts and do not listen to what the Lord speaks to them. They
do this for only one reason, they know if they listen to the Word it
will cause them to change. Every person who reads the Bible knows it
has the power to change a person and most do not want to change
because they love this world and things of this world. They love sin
and their sinful nature, lust of things of this world; they love
pride, worldly glory, etc...
The Bible is like a huge iron treasure box which holds immense
priceless treasures but is locked. The New Testament is like a peep
hole into this treasure box. People of this world look at the iron box
and comment on the rust, size, weight of the box, age, history etc.
Some would even peek into the peek hole and have a glimpse of the
treasure but would prefer to believe that the little they could see is
all that this box holds. But most would not want to open this box for
all know the only want to unlock this box is the key which we can
receive through Jesus Christ. They also know to receive this treasure
they would have to off load all the worthless things they are carrying
on themselves. They being in love with these worthless things so much
that they are willing to lose their lives but not lose them.
It is very simple, if anyone wants to know God and the Kingdom of God
must first make up his or her mind to receive Jesus Christ and be
ready to change. They should be willing to lose everything that they
carry on themselves so that they can receive the most precious and
priceless things that ever exist.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and You have created all things that exist. Although
You created this world your Kingdom is not of this world. Man has
corrupted this world through the worms of Satan. This world will all
one day end and all things within it will be vanity. Even though Satan
himself knows this yet he does not change for his heart is hard. His
children too have hardened their hearts but closing their spiritual
eyes and shutting their spiritual ears to your Word of life. Lord,
with the authority You have given us we rebuke the deaf and dumb
spirit which holds on to your children and command their spiritual
eyes to see and ears to listen so that they come to know You...
We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Romans 10:17
17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by [listening] the
word of God.
Hebrew 4:2-3
2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the
word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them
that heard it.
3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I
have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the
works were finished from the foundation of the world.
John 3:3-16
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can
he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be
born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of
God.
6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of
the Spirit is spirit.
7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound
thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so
is every one that is born of the Spirit.
9 Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and
knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and
testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall
ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from
heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must
the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
everlasting life.
