At times of agony, pray earnestly
Luke 22:44 - And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his
sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
We all know that Jesus Christ was God who humbled Himself and became
man. He was 100percent man and the only difference between Him and us
was that He was not born from a human father so was without ancestral
sin and He Himself having not committed any sin was without blemish.
Another factor different between Him and us is even though we receive
the Holy Spirit we receive a token of the Holy Spirit and we try to
grow in the Holy Spirit but none have been able to receive Him in full
because we still are somewhat carnal. In Jesus' case He had overcome
the flesh and thus was full of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit of God and
the Image of God was complete in Him. So we see excluding the Holy
Spirit and sin factor He was as much human as you and I.
We need to understand there are many things in the New Testament which
are not disclosed openly but can be known by referring to the Old
Testament. Jesus did study scriptures like we do before He started His
ministry, doing as declared through Moses. There are historic
documents which confirm this.
One of the things Jesus openly declared many a times was about His
death and resurrection, yet we see in the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus
nearly broke down when praying even though an Angel of God was
strengthening / comforting Him. The scripture says His sweat were like
drops of blood. The emphasis had been made about His sweat falling so
thick like drops of blood to show the sorrow that was within Him as He
was walking into what He had spoken about. Before He went into the
garden He was all normal but as He was communicating with God in
prayer details of what He would go through was revealed to Him such
that they overwhelmed Him.
The Bible does prophesy of the times we are walking into a time when
natural disasters and human disaster would mount so much that nearly a
part of the population of the world would cease to exist. As we have
just stepped into this period the Lord is revealing the details of
these disasters to His elect, and believe me they are going to be like
bone crushers. These are the times we need to pray from deep with our
spirits crying out to the Lord for His grace on His people specially
those who are fence sitters.
We need earnestly to pray for His people including for our family and
ourselves like Jesus did in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Understand without prayer whatever good we do is like a fan. At times
when it is cool the fan even at slow speed gives a lot of breeze but
at the time of summer when it is hot and air less dense even at full
speed the fan does not have much effect. When we pray our prayers
becomes like coolant like in an A/C and even the little we do starts
to make effect.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we thank You for your Word. Your Word instructs and guides us
through things not known to man. Your Spirit strengthen us as we are
walking into these times of great activity. Your Kingdom can not wait
to see You come in glory. You are shaking up man as You foretold
through your messengers. Lord during this great time of shaking we
pray for your people that they may be under your wings of grace. That
every member of our family be protected wherever they are. You have
made them for purpose and not to be victims of calamity...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 22:39-44
39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives;
and his disciples also followed him.
40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye
enter not into temptation.
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled
down, and prayed,
42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was
as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.
James 5:15-18
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall
raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven
him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that
ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man
availeth much.
17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed
earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by
the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth
brought forth her fruit.
Matthew 26:36-39
36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and
saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.
37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began
to be sorrowful and very heavy.
38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto
death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.
39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed,
saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me:
nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
Revelation 6:7-8
7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the
fourth beast say, Come and see.
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him
was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them
over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with
hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Denying Jesus
Mark 14:66-72
66 And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the
maids of the high priest:
67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and
said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.
68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou
sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.
69 And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by,
This is one of them.
70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by
said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a
Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto.
71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of
whom ye speak.
72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the
word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt
deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
We all know Simon who was called Peter loved Jesus very much and at
times was the over enthusiastic about Jesus yet we find he denied
Jesus three times as foretold.
Today as I was reading this again I noticed the Lord giving us a
message for today not about we denying Jesus but also how we go about
denying Him.
The first person whom Peter denied Jesus was a maid of the High
Priest, someone connected to the Church (at that time). After that he
denied Jesus to the people and later his nature became aggressive and
abusive when he denied Jesus to the people again.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ the first time we deny Jesus is
always in the Church and then we carry on this denial to the people.
Once we have denied Jesus to the people then we overcome the guilt in
us and the nature of Adam starts to overtake us then we behave unlike
children of God.
It is when we come together in Christ as one Body the Lord speaks to
us. We as one body need to have very close bonds with those from this
body, like we keep with our own family members. A person who says he
or she loves their family members more than those from the Church is
not a true Christian. No doubt our responsibility towards the family
members would be more but the love need to be the same towards all
Christians.
For example, when we start to deny showing love to people from this
extended family we soon would be having problems showing love to the
other people of this world. And when we get used to not showing love
to the people of this world then another nature inside up overtakes us
and we start to hate and be violent towards people.
Let each one of us ask ourselves how many times have we denied Jesus
when we denied helping another believer. Because we do this we do not
feel guilt for the times we denied help to the people of this world.
Let us not wait for the time when we are totally immune to our guilt
and we start to behave unchristian.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we thank You for Jesus Christ Who has been an perfect example
for us when He was man on earth. Lord Jesus, You showed us how to love
and from where to start. Lord, teach us to firstly love those who are
believers the way we need to love them and how to carry this love unto
others who do not know You. Help us to be an example like You and let
they world know the greatest part of God for creation is His love for
us. We are not called to die on the crucifix but we are all called to
die to our carnal self - our flesh. Harden not our hearts that we
overcome our guilt and be dead unto it...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Corinthians 8:3
3 But if any man love God, the same is known of him.
Galatians 5:13-15
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not
liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt
love thy neighbour as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not
consumed one of another.

The signs before the end time

Acts 2:19,20 - And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in
the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: The sun shall
be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great
and notable day of the Lord come:

People are looking at some of the calamities happening throughout the
world and assuming these are the one which signal the end time. The
Bible has been very clear and gives many events which happen before
the end time comes.

The calamities we are experiencing are the start of the phase of the
pale horse which walks the plains of the earth and causes a fourth of
the population to be killed. After this are many more events before
the end comes.

One of the events just before the end time after the wonders in the
sky and signs in the earth below there are some very clear events
which will mark the coming of the Lord. The words translated as blood
and fire, are not exact translations but derivations which are
translated as them. In particular the word fire is not just ordinary
fire but defines as a very fiery fire. It goes further to specifies a
thick blanket of smoke would cover the earth which will make the sun
to darken and the moon to look like blood because at night the smoke
would change characteristics.

People who are knowledgeable about nuclear holocaust would be able to
tell you that all these characteristics point to a global nuclear
holocaust. The Bible does not tell the exact time when Jesus will come
but gives a lot of detailed clues so that its people do not walk in
darkness or like blind people.

Please be rest assured the Lord has given enough evidence to guide His
people and prepare them before He comes again. As for now instead of
worrying when Jesus will come it is better for us concentrate on the
work He has assigned us and to save souls.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and all knowing. You love your people and therefore
have made known things which are hidden for the world. You do not want
your people to walk like blind people therefore have given all the
necessary cautions and instructions in your Word. Lord, open the minds
of your people and reveal your Word unto them. Help them to know what
is important now and help them concentrate on it…

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Revelation 6:8
8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him
was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them
over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with
hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Are you ready for Jesus' second coming
Luke 8:40 - And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the
people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.
Many people are talking of end of the world, some even gave the date
as 21st May and spend more than 100million dollars to make hoardings
and announce this end. At the end the only persons happy out of all
this is the hoarding guys who made money.
I would not to talk of their foolishness of coming to conclusion of
this date, but the Lord wants us to reflect had this day really been
the end, then were you and I prepared to meet Jesus with gladness.
In today's message the people received Jesus gladly for they were
prepared and were waiting for Him. We need to ask ourselves are we?
Before we answer this question we need to understand what Jesus is
coming for. We should be aware that one of the purposes for which
Jesus is coming for is to judge the people.
There is a wrong notion among Christians that all those who believe in
Him will go to Heaven. In the Gospel of Matthew Jesus goes to the
extend to warn, leave alone those who believe in Him but even those
who heal or do miracles in His Name or even preach and make others
Christians are not assured entry into Heaven.
I too had not taken this matter very seriously until I realized if a
judge had to judge he had to have a basis on which he would judge. Any
true judge would not judge a person under any circumstances unless
that person is aware or given the basis under which that person would
be judged.
For example if you go to a private garden and pluck a flower and the
gardener catches you and shouts or penalizes you, you would not get
very upset for you are aware it was not right to puck flowers from any
other person's garden. But if you were in a forest or woods and you
plucked a flower, imagine if a person came to you and shouted for
doing that. I am sure you would not react in the same way as you did
with the gardener. You would first ask what his authority was over
this forest or woods. Even if he said he was the owner of that land,
if he had put a sign board cautioning people about this being private
property? Or why he did not put a fence around it? Even if you saw the
hoarding or not would not be an argument but even the fact it was
prominently displayed would justify his shouting.
In the New Testament we do not see any rules that state the basis on
which a person would be judged to the extent of not being allowed to
enter Heaven even after believing in Jesus.
Some weeks back I was teaching on this matter at one of my sessions
and during which I found in only one place very clear instructions (if
understood well) been given which state even if a person is a believer
yet if they break the said rules they would be cut out from entering
Heaven and this is in the books of Moses.
People are of the notion after the coming of Jesus the Law given
through Jesus is history and we are not under the Law. One interesting
scripture opened my mind to understand it well and it was in the
Gospels in which the Law of Moses is called the Law of the Lord. But
we find Paul and others speak of we being dead to the Law for we are
not of the Law but of the Spirit.
What they spoke of was the Jewish law which not the Law of the Lord.
The Jews never understood the Law given through Moses. The law of the
Jews were laws of the flesh but the Law given through Moses was
actually of the Spirit which Jesus understood and followed yet did
nothing the Jews did. Although the text seem to instruct to kill or
harm in the physical yet Jesus never did for He knew its true meaning.
When I collected all these instruction on which basis one would be
‘cut out from his people’ and when on to study its true meaning, it
bought fear into me and the question came, am I ready for Jesus today?
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ I do not want to scare you but
want to alert you it is very serious we look at the fact if we are
prepared for Jesus' coming. The Bible warns us that out of every 3
believers only 1 would enter Heaven and this is very serious concern.
Paul therefore warned in his letter to work towards their salvation
with fear and trembling.
Taken there is time for Jesus' second coming but then too if I go to
sleep in grave today or tomorrow, I would wake the day He comes to
judge and would not get time to undo those areas which are considered
serious by the Lord.
Every day in the early morning we should thank God for giving us an
opportunity to change. In the evening if we did not make use of it we
need to get on our knees and ask for forgiveness of not using that
opportunity.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are a righteous God and all things which You do are Truth
and none can speak against or question your actions. You gave is
warnings again and again through your messengers but many a times we
gave deaf ears to them. Today Lord let it be a day of change for us.
Let us understand the seriousness of being your people and
representing You as a Christian. Help us keep your Word and be a doer
of the Word so that we are gladly ready for Jesus' coming...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the
kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in
heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in
thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from
me, ye that work iniquity.
Luke 13:23-29
23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he
said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you,
will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to
the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door,
saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto
you, I know you not whence ye are:
26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy
presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart
from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see
Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of
God, and you yourselves thrust out.
29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the
north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
Luke 2:22-23
22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of
Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him
to the Lord;
23 (As it is written in the law of the Lord, Every male that openeth
the womb shall be called holy to the Lord;)
1 Corinthians 14:20-22
20 Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be
ye children, but in understanding be men.
21 In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips
will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear
me, saith the Lord.
22 Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to
them that believe not: but prophesying serveth not for them that
believe not, but for them which believe.
Luke 24:44
44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you,
while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which
were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the
psalms, concerning me.
John 7:19
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the
law? Why go ye about to kill me?
Zechariah 13:8-9
8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD,
two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be
left therein.
9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine
them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they
shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my
people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
Revelation 12:3-4
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red
dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his
heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did
cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which
was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was
born.
Revelation 20:11-15; 21:1
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose
face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place
for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the
books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written
in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every
man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the
second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast
into the lake of fire.
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and
the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
John 5:26-30
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the
Son to have life in himself;
27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he
is the Son of man.
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that
are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the
resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the
resurrection of damnation.
30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my
judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of
the Father which hath sent me.

Some people are not marked by the Beast

Romans 11:4 - But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have
reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to
the image of Baal.

We read in today's message about Elijah who cried to the Lord during
the time when Jezebel had killed the Prophets of the Lord and all the
people had forsaken the Commandments of the Lord and started
worshiping Baal, then too the Lord made sure there were some who knew
Him and followed Him.

All prophesies in the Bible are prophesised multi-level. They have a
physical manifestation and the spiritual manifestation. People most
pursue or are on the lookout for the physical manifestation and miss
out the spiritual one which is more important i.e.

The prophesy of Christ ruling the world for a thousand years has most
people thinking of Jesus coming as man and being a figure head of
world order like a political / global leader. To try to explain this
prophesy the Lord spoke through John of the book of Revelation and
showed him a rider on a white horse whose name is ‘Word of God’ and
who keeps building an army which no one can stop. If people put
historic events of the Church in place they would realize after
thousand two hundred and sixty years from the time the Church when
haywire this prophesy is already in action and started the protestant
movement.

Similarly the end day has some people thinking on the 21st May the
world will end and will be thoroughly disappointed on the 22nd when
nothing happens. Jesus had warned us about physical / natural signs
and still said not to think it will all come to the end, but the end
will happen only when all prophesies are fulfilled like all will hear
the Gospel. The book of Daniel clearly gives at many places clues as
to the approximate time when the end will come. In one place he states
a thousand, thousand and a half years and another place he states
after two thousand three hundred years the cleansing of the Temple
will start which again confirms the previous approximate date for
after the Church comes together in glory then there is another event
in Church history after which Satan is let loose and the end comes.

Also understand when Noah was told to make an ark, Lord did not cause
the floods to come before Noah finished the ark. It came only after
the job was done even though it took 100years for Noah. We too are
told to give the Gospel to every human on earth so unless this is not
done the end would not come.

Another prophesy about the mark of the beast which people think is a
physical chip, which will be embedded into human body as an electronic
ID, controlled by the mind to be used for commerce and but instead
will control them like zombies. No doubt the first part is true but
the last part is where they are mistaken. The chip being integrated
with the neuro-signalling system of the human mind will allow them to
do transactions using the mind to control communication but will also
influence the mind to think on basis of logical thinking and will kill
aspects of the mind like faith, love etc. which are not based on
logic.

There is a spiritual aspect of the mark of the beast which people miss
for one needs to understand this prophesy pertains to all and not only
those during the end times. The reason of this confusion is they do
not know who this beast is and confuse it with Satan the dragon or
Lucifer. They think the number 666 is of Lucifer but is not so, for it
is the number of Satan the beast. The beast is also called Prince of
Tyre/ Tyrus and Lucifer the dragon is called King of Tyre/Tyrus. When
I was disclosed who the beast is and details of the beast’s spiritual
mark; I too like Elijah cried out to the Lord, after seeing how
everyone had fallen into getting marked by the beast and who could be
saved from it? But as I gradually started fellowshipping with more men
and women of God I found there were few who having good communication
with the Holy Spirit were not under this mark. Even if they were they
were coming out of it.

The Church of Jezebel - the Roman Catholic Church has been instrument
in getting most Christians marked by the beast by its practices or
traditions. Even though Believers came out of this Church yet they
continue some of its practices thus keeping themselves still under the
mark.

Every understanding and every religious practice needs to bought under
the magnifying lens of the Word and those not according to the Word
needs to be rejected. Like Paul wrote anything done in the Name of the
Lord and is not by faith (according to the Word) is sin.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we pray let more and more be added unto those who walk according
to your Word and not be marked by the beast. Let them reject all that
which is not of your Kingdom let them grow in discernment and being
part of your army expand your Kingdom to the whole of this world...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Mathew 24:7-15
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in
divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and
shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world
for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken
of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let
him understand:)

Daniel 12:5-6
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one
on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of
the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters
of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of
the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto
heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a
time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to
scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be
finished.

Daniel 12:10
13 Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that
certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the
daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the
sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?
14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days;
then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

Revelation 19:11-16
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat
upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth
judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many
crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is
called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white
horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he
treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING
OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelation 13:11-18
11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had
two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.
12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and
causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first
beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from
heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those
miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to
them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the
beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that
the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as
would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and
bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or
the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number
of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six
hundred threescore and six.

Revelation 2:20-23
20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou
sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to
teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat
things sacrificed unto idols.
21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery
with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches
shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I
will give unto every one of you according to your works.

Roman 14:23
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of
faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

It is all By Him, For Him and With Him

Colossians 1:16 - For by him were all things created, that are in
heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be
thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were
created by him, and for him:

Yesterday I had a nonbeliever ask me about Jesus, not about the man
Jesus Christ but His role in the Old Testament. If it was Jesus Who
spoke to Abraham and other characters in the Old Testament and if it
was He then how in the Old Testament He gave instructions that to kill
and then in the New Testament He spoke of peace.

Paul was among the few who really understood Him and the Bible well.
In the whole Bible the 8 verses (13-20) from which the message we
received today gives the simplest introduction of Lord Jesus Christ
yet does not cover everything. I am sure what I have been revealed
till date is not all and there is more to know about Lord Jesus
Christ. When I say this, I am not talk about His nature or character
but Who He is, His origin, the things He did before our creation, His
role in creation, His part in the readmission of man, His purpose for
man etc...

It is very, very difficult to explain the hidden aspect of Lord Jesus
Christ unless one has the understanding of God, the Godhead (Triune
God), the background of things that happen before Genesis 1:2, the
purpose God created this creation not only the destiny but also its
reason of the process and what the awaited result is all about.

Let me put the story of salvation in a simple way. There is a river
bank A on which the inhabitants whom God created got infected due
their rebelling against His Nature and were given a period before
everyone on that bank would be destroyed. To be saved they were given
instructions by God to cross over to the other bank of the river
before the destruction. When they started they started with a mistake
so to prevent them from repeating the mistake and also never to rebel
against God, the river was made very rough such that if they did cross
they would never forget the journey. But the river was so violent and
infected with wild beast in it that none had hopes to cross. They were
not able to cross for the currents were very strong even the boat
given unto them could not move directly so the only way of crossing
was moving diagonal to the flow with great struggle. They were allowed
to cross diagonally since it was impossible for anyone unless they had
an anchor touching the bed of the river. The depth of the river and
the beasts in the water would not allow any to put their feet in the
river and survive. Also even if they did move diagonally in a boat
they did not have sufficient time and distance to reach the other bank
for the river ended at a distance ahead unto a steep fall and when the
time was up all on the bank A and in the river would be destroyed. God
said even if two could cross all connected with them would be saved.

God the Holy Spirit became the only means for He alone was not
affected by the beast and was strong that the currents could not shake
Him. God the Son came as man and paid the price so that the Holy
Spirit would be available for all to cross. He also became an example
as to how with the Holy Spirit anyone who believes in Him and listen
to His instructions can cross and be saved.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, creation and all were doom to destruction but You alone could
save them. Your mercy became the boat when kept us though this
journey. You paid the price for us and made salvation possible for us.
Lord, help us realize the consequence of this temporary creation which
rebelled against You but You would not let it become vanity for You
have a purpose. The purpose being to be part of your glory and we know
we will receive it because of You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Colossians 1:13-20
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath
translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that
are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by
him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the
preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to
reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be
things in earth, or things in heaven.

Stand together
Acts 2:14 - But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his
voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at
Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
When we were small we all have heard the parable of how easy it is to
break a single twig or even a few together but when more and more are
put together it just becomes impossible to break them.
In today's message we read when the disciples of Jesus got into action
after Pentecost the first thing they did was stand together. When
Peter spoke he was 'with the eleven' it did not mean physically for
other were also there but meant in one mind, understanding and
purpose.
When we see other religions, other than Christianity we see more unity
among them than us who are supposed to be in the light and not in
darkness.
The Bible tells us the first congregation (Church) came together in
the Name of the Lord through the hands of Abraham and they lived
together as a tribe. Although the difference between them and the
others were not visible (for they were circumcised) yet they were
easily differentiated from the other people by their ways of life and
the God they served.
Later even the twelve tribes under Moses too were a united army whom
the other armies of the world feared, they too were just ordinary
people but with them was something unique which no other army had and
that was the glory of God which led them. They too were bonded
together with things of the physical of the flesh.
The other religions of the world are based of acts of the flesh; the
things that hold them together are traditions and human leadership.
They have a human figurehead who leads them.
Before Jesus the people of God were walking in the flesh. The law of
God was done in the flesh yet we see that there was great unity among
them.
The new Church or Church of Christ is founded on Someone Who is not of
flesh but of Spirit. He is the Rock on Whom the Church stands. He is
the Spirit of God.
Jesus the Corner Stone knew and showed us the things of the flesh are
temporary and the real world is the spirit world. So when He came as
man He paid the price for us so that we could have a firm foundation
which no human or any other being can shake.
Although we have a far great foundation and force to hold us together
yet we are more disunited than those of this world and the main reason
behind this is the lack of discernment. It is the lack of discernment
which has caused cracks in the Body of Christ and we see so many
Churches which compete with each other and even try to eliminate each
other. It is not that they do not have the Truth with them, knowing
Jesus Christ they do have the basic foundational Truth with them yet
we find the Church divided.
Even though we are many churches, ministries etc. yet we are all
supposed to stand together united as one for our foundation is one.
The problem is not the difference among us in understanding but
because of the lack of discernment. We have given the unimportant
things more importance; we have allowed a fusion of the flesh with the
things of the spirit.
Discernment comes from the One Who is the foundation of the Church -
the Holy Spirit. The Word of God tells us if we ask of Him things
which are good He gives them to us. So let us all together ask of the
Holy Spirit a shower of the Spirit of discernment so that we come
together as a united Church becoming one in Christ. That the world may
see the glory of God among us and we stand apart from the people of
this world and thus the Name of Jesus be lifted up.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we are your people representing You and your Kingdom in this
world. Although we are to be rooted in Spirit yet many among us are
still holding on to the things of the flesh and making them their
foundation. Lord, fill your people with your Spirit of discernment so
that they may distinguish the important from the unimportant, the
necessary from unnecessary and the good from the bad. May we be united
in the Rock and give glory unto You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 17:10-14,23
10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and
thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall
be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you,
every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or
bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy
money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your
flesh for an everlasting covenant.
14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not
circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath
broken my covenant.
23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his
house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the
men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in
the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
Romans 12:16
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but
condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
John 16:13-15
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he
shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew
it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that
he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Romans 8:1-6, 10-14
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ
Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free
from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the
flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and
for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh;
but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is
life and peace.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the
Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell
in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your
mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live
after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through
the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
1 Corinthians 2:10-16
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit
searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man
which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the
Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit
which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given
to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual
things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because
they are spiritually discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is
judged of no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.
Ephesians 4:17-24
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth
walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life
of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness
of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto
lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as
the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man,
which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in
righteousness and true holiness.

Always and All-Ways
Always
In today's message I received just the word 'always' and this word is
really worth giving a thought to. By this word the Lord wants us to
look at 2 things in our life. One is the routes or decisions that we
take in life and the other is the foundation of the direction of our
life.
We human are made in the image of God but not understanding that we
lost the wholeness of this image when sin came into us we still think
we are all-capable, making ourselves as miniature gods. Even if we do
not think we have solutions for everything or we are able to overcome
all our problems without God, we still have at the back of our heads
the notion that we handle some of our problems by ourselves until they
become big and start to crush us.
The Lord wants us to realize if all our decisions in life are with the
knowledge of Him. Are our options based on chance or with the
knowledge that God is alive and in control? We normally set ourselves
ready for the worst while call ourselves people of faith but in fact
behaving like faithless people, assuming that God may have an
oversight of that particular event in our lives, that God doses for a
while or His Hand being short to handle our problem. Then we faithless
people make the statement 'it may be the will of God'.
The other important fact we need to realize is, are the foundation of
our options based on the principles of the Kingdom of God? It is
because we do not base our decisions on the principles of God we land
up having multiple options and find ourselves on roller-coaster rides
in our lives.
God is all knowing and full of wisdom when we are in tune with His
ways and filled with the knowledge of the Kingdom of God then our ways
will be very clear and just one. Our ways will not be having short
term results only and ending in disasters but our ways will always end
with excellence even if in the short term they may go over rough
roads.
We who believe in Jesus Christ have the Holy Spirit available to us.
So those who have received the Holy Spirit should always in all ways
involve Him as part of our decisions. When we do that then we find we
will not have many ways but will be moving in one direction with a
clear mind. We may be walking against the ways of the world but yet we
will always land in success. We will not waver or be burdened during
our journey, for He will always be with us. Nothing is impossible for
Him and nothing is hidden from Him.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, when we came to know You we who were in the darkness came into
light. We are now children of light but yet many a times we stray into
darkness all because we do not involve You on a daily basis in our
lives. We think we should not worry You with our small problems and
wait till they become big and come to You on our knees. We do not walk
with the values of your Kingdom therefore land in confusion and
frustration. Lord, when we are in You, You become our mind and our
every though is yours. Our ways then are not our ways but your ways.
Lord, we pray that we always are in You aware that You are in charge
of us and You are the lamp unto or feet and light unto our path...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Romans 3:10-18
10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become
unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
13 Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have
used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips:
14 Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15 Their feet are swift to shed blood:
16 Destruction and misery are in their ways:
17 And the way of peace have they not known:
18 There is no fear of God before their eyes.
James 1:5-8
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all
men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is
like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
2 Corinthians 2:14
14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in
Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every
place.
Romans 13:12-14
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast
off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and
drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and
envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for
the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
Ephesians 5:8-9
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

To MountZion - Page 33 Empty Re: To MountZion

Post  Admin on Sat 14 May 2011, 10:00 am

If rich be more careful
1 Timothy 6:17-19
17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not
highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who
giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to
distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the
time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
It is sad that many Christians measure their blessings according to
the financial blessings they have. This is exactly what the Heathens
believe in; they think if the gods are happy with them, they will be
blessed with wealth, fame and prosperity of this world.
When Jesus said it is more difficult for a rich man to enter Heaven
then for a camel loaded with goods to enter the narrow city gate (eye
of the needle) which was like a tax check point, all around Him
including His own disciples were astonished.
Paul in this very letter to Timothy and in the same paragraph points
out to the fact that those who are rich are more likely to fall in
more temptation and traps which lead to foolish and harmful desires
and will further lead them to be ruined and destroyed.
Understand it is not a sin to be rich but if God has blessed you with
riches it is important that you are stronger spiritually to handle the
riches. As today's message instructs us not to be high-minded and
trusting on our riches, meaning we should not think we are better off
than the others and never ever think our money will get us out of
problems always. Ask the families of the millionaires and billionaires
whose members have died due to critical diseases at young ages, if
their money could help them?
God also does not want us to be beggars, He commits in His Word that
He will provide us all our needs such that we will not be lacking in
any area of our lives. He not only gives us sufficient but always some
extra to bless others who are far from Him and suffering, so that they
may see Him in us and come to Him.
Today's message instructs us to be rich spiritually by doing good and
to be rich in good works. The difference between the two is the first
is concerning ourselves and the latter towards others.
We always look at how much money we have in our pockets or in our bank
balance but how many of us look at how much spiritual assets we have?
How much have we grown in the Fruit(s) and gifts of the Holy Spirit?
How much of the harvest the Lord has given us have we really reaped?
Do not look at the quantity but the proportion of the quantity given.
With regards to doing good unto others, people normally think by just
giving they have done good. Understand our giving always does not do
good, but at times may do more harm than good. So we must give or help
others with concern, understanding, wisely and abundantly.
Nothing of the riches of this world we are going to take with us when
we leave this world, but our spiritual riches we will surely take. So
let ask ourselves, are we going to leave with empty pockets or with
abundance?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and the creator of the whole world. The riches of
this world are just dust for You. Nothing of this world can please
You. You are Spirit and your world which is the Spirit world is real
and true. Your world is made of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit and with
precious spiritual things. Lord, help us realize as far as we are in
this temporary world You will provide for us all our needs and even
use us to be a vessel to bless others in their needs. Lord, help also
realize how much we are really rich spiritually and help us add unto
our spiritual assets in leaps and bounds...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Timothy 6:7-12
7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can
carry nothing out.
8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and
into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction
and perdition.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some
coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves
through with many sorrows.
11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after
righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto
thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many
witnesses.
Mark 10:23-30
23 And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How
hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
24 And the disciples were astonished at his words. But Jesus
answereth again, and saith unto them, Children, how hard is it for
them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!
25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than
for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves,
Who then can be saved?
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but
not with God: for with God all things are possible.
28 Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have
followed thee.
29 And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no
man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or
mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and
brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with
persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

There is no lady luck
Acts 1:26 - And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon
Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.
Some time back we had a Gospel singing competition and the youth
selected at the auditions were all very good. For the finals we had
given each contestant a list of 10 common songs and they were told
they would have to sing anyone of the 10 songs. There were a lot of
variations in between the songs and some being very hard for a normal
singer, which only a trained or gifted singer would be able to take
them.
During the finals we had put a pot on the stage with 10 balls having
numbers 1 to 10 written on them and the opening of the pot was covered
with a slit enough to only put a hand. The participant after coming on
the stage picked a ball and the corresponding song from a list the
participant had to sing. The participants could never guest what song
they could have to sing and had to rely on the grace of God to promote
him or her to the winners list.
People may think here was an element of 'luck'.
It is sad people use words without giving thought to their meaning or
understanding. Luck is defined as 'to gain success or something
desirable by chance'. The word 'chance' means there is no telling if
or not it happens and no one is in control of the event.
In today's message we read the 11 Apostles selected the 12th member by
drawing lots. It was not that they could not decide so gave it unto
chance to select the 12th person. They actually used the understanding
of the Urim and the Thummim which was put in the Breastplate of
Judgment.
We as Christians who know God should always remember that God is alive
and in control of everything. There is nothing that can happen without
His will of His approval. Even the evil that Satan does is because he
is given time by the Lord to repent, but Lord knowing his heart has
already written his destiny. God does not allow problems into the
lives of His people more than what they are given grace to overcome.
It is only for the purpose to mold us that things happen into our
lives, that is why we have a choice to abide by the Word, surrendering
and change or let events happen in our lives and let them change us or
mold us.
At the Gospel singing contest we realized from the ones who were not
selected, there were some who could sing very well but had some areas
in that life which needed working before they could be put on the
stage to evangelize the people. These got songs which were not made
for their voice.
Understand 'luck' is a word only of the heathens who do not know God
and sometimes without realizing we act like them at times. Using this
word is the same as believing in Astrology, Palmistry and other
occults and not in God.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Almighty God, Omnipotent and Omnipresent. There is no
place where anyone can go to hide from You. There is nothing that we
do or even think of which is hidden from You. You are in control of
everything and yet You allow things for You alone know the future and
the hidden. You have given to us a view of the things in your Word so
that we do not get lost or lose faith. Lord, we ask your forgiveness
for the times we believed in the supernatural which does not exist
instead of You Who are beyond natural and super natural, for You are
real and are Spirit. Help us always remember You are with us and in
control...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Exodus 28:29-30
29 And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the
breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy
place, for a memorial before the LORD continually.
30 And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the
Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before
the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel
upon his heart before the LORD continually.
Nehemiah 7:64-65
64 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by
genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put
from the priesthood.
65 And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the
most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.
1 Samuel 28:6
6 And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not,
neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.

Natural man and the Spiritual man
1 Corinthians 2: 14,15 - But the natural man receiveth not the things
of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can
he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is
spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
In today's message the Lord is talking to us about the natural man and
the spiritual man. Even though the scripture speak against the natural
man he is in reality not foolish. He may be the most smartest man well
educated, having a good career, good saving, good social network, not
having too bad vices etc., but as far as his spiritual profile is
concern he may be totally lacking. His relationship with God may be
just traditional practise. His helping people would be to give some
money once a week just to make oneself happy that I do something. In
his neighbourhood there would be a person who is struggling for his
daily meal, this man would surely give something to make sure he does
not die hungry but more than that he would say 'is not my business'.
If he sees a beggar he would put his hand in his pocket giving him
some change but would not bother if he uses that money for drugs or
any other evil. For this man the Fruits of the Holy Spirit are not
necessary as far as you are a good being according to the world.
The other man who is called spiritual man has a different approach to
things and to understand his approach we would need to get into the
grammar of the Greek words. It is written 'he judges all things, yet
he himself is not judged'. When we understand the TVM (Tone Voice and
Mood) of the words 'judges' and 'judged' we would understand better.
Like I told you in my previous mails the TVM gives us instructions as
what to do in Body (Natural), Mind and Spirit respectively.
Judges TVM: Present, Active, Indicative
What we learn here is although the other man is called spiritual man
he actually does not use or do much in the spiritual aspect but does
more in the mental aspect. He is a person who is spiritually alive and
really uses his thinking to reason what is best. The TVM shows his
mind as Active.
Understand to be a spiritual man one does not need to get nirvana or a
lightening from Heaven or have deep understanding of the Kingdom of
God but you should have your basics in place. All it take for a person
to be spiritual man is to be spiritually alive and to give though to
one's actions and priorities.
Such a man today's message says would not be judged by others, that
does not mean people would not speak against him. The TVM gives better
detail on it.
Judged TVM: Present, Passive, Indicative
We learn by the TVM that although people may speak against the actions
of the person yet they will not speak against the intention of the
action. People will know you are a good person but would not be able
to jelly with you very much when they are people of this world for
your actions would disturb their way of life and their priorities in
life.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, as we live our life as Christians help us to be Spiritual
Christians and not Natural Christians. Help us to actively give
thought to our every action and intention. Help us realize if we are
walking towards light or towards darkness. Help us work towards
spiritual riches and not earthly riches. Let others know we are
different from this world and let them see You in us...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Corinthians 2:16
16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ.
Hebrew 5:11-14
11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing
ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that
one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of
God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of
righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those
who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good
and evil.
2 Corinthians 3:12-16
12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:
13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the
children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which
is abolished:
14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the
same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail
is done away in Christ.
15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

Religion used for self-pleasure
Acts 16:20,21 - And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These
men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, And teach customs,
which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being
Romans.
Outside Christianity all religious leaders use religion for reasons
like self-glory, power, riches etc. none of them have anything to do
with God or with Truth. But even in Christianity we see leaders
misusing religion to exploit people for their own gains. They may not
crave for riches but they still do not have any good agenda behind it.
Ironically Christianity root foundation is about overcoming one own
desires and pleasures and working towards the desires and pleasures of
the Kingdom of God.
Some years back there was a person (A) who learned how easy it was to
heal people and saw how people responded when they received help or
were given hope of freedom from their problems. He got another brother
(B) into his plans into exploiting the people commercially. This
brother (B) was healed from AIDS that too after he jumped off a bridge
onto the railway tracks. God did not allow him to die and started
reaching out to people through him. These two had even calculated the
returns per week from holding sessions or out reaches. Thankfully the
brother (B) today has come out from the deceitful plans of the person
(A).
We read in today's message how Paul and Silas' giving the Gospel was
hurting the interest of the Jews, Romans and specially the person who
mislead people with prophesies from unclean spirit, they caught Paul
and Silas and got them to be beaten and put behind bars.
Today even Churches exploit people. We know how the Catholic Church
builds it riches by getting people into unholy practices and
traditions, the very things which the Bible speaks against. The
Believer Churches also misleads people with promises of riches (more
earthly and less spiritual) like coning them to give tithes. They fail
to realize the very first act of tithing in the Bible of Abraham
giving 10percent to Melchizedek also gave always all the remainder
keeping only what his people needed. Even in Acts the very first
organized Church people kept only what they needed and gave all
remaining for the Kingdom of God.
I know of Pastors who make their subordinates to telephone people to
remind them to pay their tithes and confirm if they have done so,
Pastors threatening the congregation members from going to another
Church all because they will lose their fat cows. The Churches lack
all because of the greed of the leaders and their not selflessly
working towards building people in the Lord.
Like the Lord dramatically saved Paul and Silas by causing an
earthquake and broke the bands of chains holding them, so also the
Lord is going to shake the Church system to save His people. He is
going to break the bars of human authority which is not according to
the Word that they have put people behind. He is also going to break
the rules and practices which they have created and are not according
to the Word.
They do not realize the Manna was sweet to taste when used according
to instructions but when instructions were not followed the same Manna
got worms and became dangerous to consume.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, your Church is suffering because its shepherds are more concern
about themselves more than about your Kingdom. The world does not know
You because they do not see your glory shine in your Church among your
people. Lord we pray You intervene in the Churches and cause an
spiritual earthquake and break the bonds put by man and set free your
anointed ones to lead your people. Cause a spiritual revolution and an
outburst of your Kingdom...
We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 16:16-26
16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel
possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her
masters much gain by soothsaying:
17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are
the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of
salvation.
18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and
said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come
out of her. And he came out the same hour.
19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone,
they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto
the rulers,
20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being
Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither
to observe, being Romans.
22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the
magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.
23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into
prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner
prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God:
and the prisoners heard them.
26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations
of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened,
and every one’s bands were loosed.
Genesis 14:14-24
14 And when Abram heard that his brother was taken captive, he armed
his trained servants, born in his own house, three hundred and
eighteen, and pursued them unto Dan.
15 And he divided himself against them, he and his servants, by
night, and smote them, and pursued them unto Hobah, which is on the
left hand of Damascus.
16 And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his
brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people.
17 And the king of Sodom went out to meet him after his return from
the slaughter of Chedorlaomer, and of the kings that were with him, at
the valley of Shaveh, which is the king's dale.
18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he
was the priest of the most high God.
19 And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high
God, possessor of heaven and earth:
20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine
enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
21 And the king of Sodom said unto Abram, Give me the persons, and
take the goods to thyself.
22 And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I have lift up mine hand unto
the LORD, the most high God, the possessor of heaven and earth,
23 That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet, and that
I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I
have made Abram rich:
24 Save only that which the young men have eaten, and the portion of
the men which went with me, Aner, Eshcol, and Mamre; let them take
their portion.
Acts 4:30-35
30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders
may be done by the name of thy holy child [servant] Jesus.
31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were
assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and
they spake the word of God with boldness.
32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of
one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he
possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection
of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were
possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the
things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles’ feet: and distribution was
made unto every man according as he had need.
Acts 5:1-10
1 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,
2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it,
and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.
3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie
to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold,
was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in
thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost:
and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
7 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not
knowing what was done, came in.
8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for
so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.
9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to
tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have
buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the
ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying
her forth, buried her by her husband.

Being part of the Wedding
Hebrews 2:1-4 [Italic text removed]
1 Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things
which we have heard, lest at any time we should let slip.
2 For if the word spoken by angels [messengers] was stedfast, and
every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of
reward;
3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the
first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by
them that heard;
4 God also bearing witness, both with signs and wonders, and with
divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own
will?
Among the Epistles (letters) of Paul I just love the ones he wrote in
the latter part of his life. If one puts his letters in the order he
wrote them and scrutinise Paul in them, one would find a great change
in character and spiritual maturity in Paul and how he overcame the
thorn in his flesh. The letters vary so much that it has made many
theologise to believe that the latter ones were written by another
person imitating Paul.
Hebrews and Galatians are among those letters which were written in
the later part of Paul’s life. His last letters was his letters to
Timothy.
In today's message Paul is talking about the Lord's salvation which
was known to only a few and how people were punished when they did not
abide by the instructions given by those few. How the Lord confirms
His Word by great signs and wonders, miracles and gifts of the Holy
Spirit.
An interesting thing I noticed today was the Greek word 'soteria' used
for salvation. This word is just the feminine of the word 'soter'
which means saviour. It gives a new depth to the understanding of
being bride to the Lord Jesus Christ Who is our Saviour.
Pursuing salvation in simple terms means pursuing to be soul mate to
our Saviour. Unless we do not abide in Him and become one with Him we
are not recipients of His Salvation. And we know by the parables which
Jesus gave those who reject or are not part of the wedding of the Son
were killed and burnt but the worst was to those who accepted the
invitation but did not abide by the instructions of the Groom's Family
it is written they will be tied hand and feet (meaning will be made
helpless) and thrown in the place where there is only sorrow and pain.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are our God and Saviour. You desire man to be part of You
eternally. You desire man to have eternal life in You and be inheritor
of your Nature having power and authority in your Name. You do not
compromise but believe in only perfection but knowing man who will
never be perfect You came as man to give an example and to be a way to
reach perfection in You. Lord, help us to abide by your Word and be
part of your bride so that we receive our salvation in You...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 21:1-14
1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a
marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the
wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are
bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are
killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm,
another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully,
and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth
his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which
were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find,
bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered
together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding
was furnished with guests.
11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man
which had not on a wedding garment:
12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not
having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and
take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.
14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Getting guidance

Acts 27:20 - And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and
no small tempest lay on us, all hope that we should be saved was then
taken away.

The main reason why many people, including Churches are taking wrong
steps or are not doing any progress is because they do not have any
personal guidance from the Lord. They lack instructions on how to move
forward and it does not need to be a great crisis for which they need
direction, it could be even a small issue in which they need
assistance.

One can easy come to know by attending a service if there are people
amongst them to whom the Lord is speaking.

Some days back a dear brother got a desire to marry a sister in the
Lord and had approached me to confirm if it was the Lord's will. The
Lord had given me some details of her family which I shared with him
and he confirmed at it matched. He also spoke to another sister in
whose house he takes a House Church and even she got a confirmation
from the Lord. He himself also got a confirmation from the Lord.

There was one hurdle for him and it was the girl's uncle who is a
senior Pastor in a Church. The boy and girl had approached him too
about getting confirmation of coming together as husband and wife. The
Pastor told them he would prayer and come back to them. After more
than a month and half he still did not confirm although he is like a
father to the girl and has very close attachment to her. When we met
one day, he got offended that the Lord talks to us but when a person
asked him why he did not get any answer since a month and half he kept
shut and almost vent his anger in another direction. He repented later
and gave his okay to the marriage.

What we see happened with him was that there was something about the
boy he did not understand and that occupied his thinking and
disconnected his communication with the Lord.

In today scripture we see people were looking for the sun and stars
for guidance. This is exactly what Churches and people do is look for
signs and manifestations to get answer to their queries which they put
before the Lord.

The Lord does confirm His Word with signs and wonders, but we cannot
always rely the other way to be 100percent, that by looking at sign
and wonders thinking it is a confirmation from the Lord. Scripture
says especially in the later days we will see many signs and wonders
which we should not believe but abide to the Word of the Lord.

There are very few people including Church leaders who can confidently
confirm that the Lord speaks to them one to one and personal directs
them when they put forth their issue before the Lord.

It is not necessary that every issue and every time instantly the Lord
answers. There are times the confirmation takes time, but the Lord
never fails to answer.

It is time we should stop looking at the world or at sign and wonders
but bring forth our problems to the Lord on a personal one to one
basis; believe me He does speak to His people. When we communicate
with the Holy Spirit Who is with us, He answers in many ways, we may
have a vision, a dream, a message from the scriptures, even hear an
audible voice speak to us etc...

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are a living God and nothing is hidden from You. You desire
to guide your people but your people are far from You and therefore
cannot hear You. Even in the darkest moments You always make a window
of escape but since we are blind we fail to see the escape and get
consumed. Lord, help us to focus on You and build a stronger
communication with You through the understanding of your Word...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 27:21-26
21 But after long abstinence Paul stood forth in the midst of them,
and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened unto me, and not have loosed
from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
22 And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no
loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship.
23 For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and
whom I serve,
24 Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and,
lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
25 Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it
shall be even as it was told me.
26 Howbeit we must be cast upon a certain island.

Joel 2:28-29
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my
spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
29 And also on the servants and on the handmaids in those days will I
pour out my spirit.

Luke 21:35-36
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of
the whole earth.
36 Watch you therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted
worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to
stand before the Son of man.

1 Corinthians 10:13
13 There has no temptation taken you but such as is common to man:
but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that
you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape,
that you may be able to bear it.

Envy

Mark 15:10 - For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.

The English word 'envy' is simply defined as a feeling of discontent
because of the success or advantage of another.

The Greek word translated here as envy is 'phthonos' and comes from
the root word 'phtheiro' which means corrupt. In the Bible the
feeling of envy is simply put as corruption in between the
relationship of 2 or more persons.

If one understands, the purpose God created man was not that He wanted
someone to worship Him, if that was the case then it would make God a
selfish God. We worship Him not because He needs our praise and
worship but because we need to. He also did not make man because He
was lonely and needed someone to love. God existed in fullness and
lacked anything. He created man with only one main purpose and that is
to prosper him.

God has great plans for man and has set forth great abundance for him.
When darkness came through Satan the nature to obstruct prosperity in
the life of another was born. After greed and pride was born envy.

This nature of Satan which infected Adam when he sinned has been
passed on from generations to generations. A mother or father does not
need to teach a baby the feeling of envy for it comes in its DNA.
Having envy is considered normal by worldly man and is part of the
understanding of the Cosmos (worldly system). Advertising Industry
flourishes not because they do their work of giving information of a
product to people far and wide, but mainly because they give air to
this fire called envy.

Even in Churches people are taught to be competitive to another
brother or sister by envying that person.

One does not need to stop excelling and being better to stop envy, the
nature of Satan.

The Nature of God teaches us to get behind another and encourage him
or her to go ahead even more than ourselves. This is what we learn
from Jesus Who was also given the title of 'Servant King'.

I would love to see not only one Church member helping another Church
member to be better than himself, but also see one Church help another
Church to increase in blessings all with the purpose of the increase
of God's Kingdom.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord ,You are God and You lacked nothing yet You made man for it is in
your Nature to bless. You plan to bless man with abundant spiritual
treasures but man has been struggling to let go of the temporary
earthly treasures which are not even worth pennies. Lord, help us
overcome the nature of envy by applying the Sacrifice of Jesus in that
area and by walking in His Name...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Ezekiel 28:12-19
12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say
unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of
wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was
thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the
onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle,
and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared
in thee in the day that thou wast created.
14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee
so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and
down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created,
till iniquity was found in thee.
16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of
thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee
as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O
covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast
corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to
the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.
18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine
iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring
forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will
bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that
behold thee.
19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at
thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

Genesis 4:3-8
3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the
fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the
fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was
very wroth, and his countenance fell.
6 And the LORD said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy
countenance fallen?
7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest
not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire,
and thou shalt rule over him.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when
they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother,
and slew him.

John 8:42-47
42 Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me,
for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself,
but He sent Me.
43 "Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to
listen to My word.
44 "You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father
you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not
stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a
lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father
of it.
45 "But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.
46 "Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do
you not believe Me?
47 "He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear,
because you are not of God."

God proves His Word
Acts 2:22 - Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a
man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which
God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
If we look at scripture in the Old Testament we have the Historical
book like Kings, Chronicles, Joshua, Esther and Judges which are
historical documents of what happened. These books confirm many
prophesies given by the Prophets. Similar way throughout the Bible we
see whatever is written or prophesised till date has been backed by
historical proofs.
There has been ancient artefacts found way back from the times of
Noah, Abraham, Joseph, Moses, David, Daniel, Jesus etc., even the not
so important characters given in the Bible also have been proved
existed with historical evidence.
What is interesting is unbelievable events like the flood of Noah,
stopping of sun and moon by Joshua, reversing of the day by 10 degrees
/ 15mins by Isaiah, signs in heaven during the birth of Jesus, sudden
darkness during His death on the crucifix etc. all have historical or
scientific records to prove them.
The Word is so rock solid that, even the hardest atheist if goes
through them will have no option but to believe. Yet we find people
rejecting the Word or having shakeable faith in the Word only because
they do not go through records or documentations which prove the Word
of God and turn a blind eye to them.
What was very interesting which I came to know some time back was,
even the parables which Jesus spoke had a historical backgrounds which
were fresh in the minds of the people of that time. Jesus used
examples with His teachings so as to drive the message very clearly to
the people.
We see that God takes pain to confirm everything He has spoken or
written. This gives us great joy for the blessings of Abraham which we
have received through Jesus Christ will also be confirmed in our lives
with signs and wonders for our God is a God Who proves His Word.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord God, You are God of splendour. The Heavens are awesome because
your glory fills them. Things which men do are soon or latter
forgotten or meet their destruction, but what You do remains and
testifies for You. Lord we thank You for all the blessings You have
spoken in our lives even when we were in the lions of Abraham. We know
You will surely bring them to pass with signs and wonders for whole
mankind to see and glorify You...
We declare this in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 2:8-14
8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he
put the man whom he had formed.
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is
pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the
midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence
it was parted, and became into four heads.
11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the
whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;
12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.
13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that
compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia.
14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which
goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates.
Genesis 6:13-17
13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me;
for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I
will destroy them with the earth.
14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark,
and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.
15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of
the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits,
and the height of it thirty cubits.
16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou
finish it above; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side
thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.
17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth,
to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under
heaven; and every thing that is in the earth [land] shall die.
Genesis 19:24-25
24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and
fire from the LORD out of heaven;
25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the
inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
Exodus 14:26-29
26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand over the sea,
that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their
chariots, and upon their horsemen.
27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea
returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians
fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of
the sea.
28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the
horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after
them; there remained not so much as one of them.
29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of
the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and
on their left.
Numbers 24:17
17 I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh:
there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of
Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the
children of Sheth.
2 Kings 20:9-11
9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the
LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go
forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go
down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the
shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of
Ahaz.
Joshua 10:12-14
12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered
up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the
sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in
the valley of Ajalon.
13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had
avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book
of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted
not to go down about a whole day.
14 And there was no day like that before it or after it, that the
LORD hearkened unto the voice of a man: for the LORD fought for
Israel.
Matthew 2:2,9,10
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen
his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star,
which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood
over where the young child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child
with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they
had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and
frankincense, and myrrh.
Revelation 12:1-2
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with
the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of
twelve stars:
2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to
be delivered.

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde in us
Romans 7:15 - For that which I do I know not: for not what I would,
that do I practise; but what I hate, that I do.
Everyone must be aware of the famous story of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde,
where Dr Jekyll is the god character and Mr Hyde the evil character
which dwell in the same person like a split personality. We all have
this split personality dwelling in us to some extent.
Many years back when I had not even gone through these scriptures in
Romans the Lord was teaching me on this when I was on a trip with a
brother who was also in the Lord but at that time was more mature than
me and thus I used to look up to him.
Even though he was more knowledgeable and experienced than me yet he
also had the Jekyll and Hyde factor in him. We were in the same room
in a hotel and he had a weakness. One day he fell to his temptation
and that night the Lord showed me what he had done. The next day when
I confronted him on it he nearly broke down. He did have problem on
that incident for some time but latter overcame. That incident also
taught me what happened to him could happen to me too, thereafter I
fear Men and Women of God when I spiritually backslide.
These characters of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde are also referred by Paul as
the New and Old man in us. The Dr Jekyll is the born again person in
us which loves light and the Kingdom of God. But even though we are
born again in Christ we still have this Mr Hyde who tries to undo our
progress in the Kingdom of God and bring us back into darkness.
People think that this Mr Hyde is completely destroyed in them when
they are born again. They are not wrong to some extend but are also
not right because they do not know who this Mr Hyde is.
The Mr Hyde is us is the evil in us which is partly our creation and
partly inherited from our ancestors. When we are born again the part
which is our creation is completely destroyed but that which is
inherited remains. This part which remains is not the sins of our
ancestors, for God does not punish the children for the sins of the
fathers but yet we have some scriptures which state something like
that.
We need to understand when we do a wrong deed our wrong deed is not
passed unto our children but the nature to do that wrong deed is. For
example if I murder a person or even tell a lie the blood I spilled or
the lie sin would be passed unto my child but the nature to do a
murder or the nature to lie will. This nature to sin that we inherit
or creator is the Hyde in us, while the nature of Christ which we are
induced with when we are born again in Him is the Jekyll in us. The
more of Jekyll grows in us the more the Hyde character gets supressed.
This is the overcoming which the Holy Spirit helps us in our walk in
the path of Christ.
This Hyde was created right from Adam and all our ancestors have added
unto that character. As the Lord states the nature to do that wrongs
goes down 4 generations if none fall unto that specific nature then
the nature to do that dies. But every time a person falls prey to that
nature or creates it that nature gets passed on for another 4
generations.
Now imagine the accumulated evil nature that lies beneath us, it is
like a volcano waiting to bust. But yet we should not worry for it was
this is the reason the Lord said the more of His grace and His Spirit
would be poured in the latter days knowing we would have a greater
Hyde to deal with.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Holy and You want your children to also be holy. You
hate sin and when Adam and Eve sinned You cursed them. But You also
made a way for us to overcome the result of the curse by making
available a Branch to be grafted unto by your Spirit. Lord, as we keep
on breaking our links to the old vine Adam and get grafted into the
New Vine which is Christ strengthen us and hold us up by your abundant
grace...
We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 5:1-2
1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God
created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their
name Adam, in the day when they were created.
Numbers 14:18
18 The LORD is longsuffering [slow to anger], and of great mercy,
forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the
guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto
the third and fourth generation
Jeremiah 3:27-34
27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house
of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the
seed of beast.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them,
to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and
to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith
the LORD.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a
sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that
eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new
covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in
the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of
Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto
them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of
Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their
inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and
they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every
man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me,
from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for
I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Romans 6:1-13
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ
were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like
as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even
so we also should walk in newness of life.
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death,
we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body
of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death
hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth,
he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but
alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should
obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness
unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from
the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Working of the Church

Book of Acts

Some months back there was a group of people which attended our Church
Sunday Service, they called themselves Acts 29. It was pleasing to
hear these people were so impressed by the book of Acts that they
believed the Lord was continuing the mighty works as recorded in this
book.

Luke a historical documenter of the events managed to get to the
details accurately for he was a close companion of Paul. Being with
Paul he had accesses to the key witnesses of the events. Paul a well
rooted person in the knowledge of the Kingdom of God being his
spiritual guide had great effect on Luke. We see although Luke was of
the same calling like Mark and Matthew yet he took efforts to
highlight and clear further certain events or matters concerning
certain individuals. He made sure things are not misunderstood by
reading the previous 2 Gospels.

In the book of Acts we also see the same dedication of Luke in
documenting the important events which took place in the 1st stage of
the Christian Church. Like someone correctly put it, 'it is more like
a photo album of snapshots'. Our photo albums have pictures of events
which are important to us. By looking at these photos the whole event
comes to our mind. Similarly by piecing these snapshots we can get an
idea what all happened during this period of the Church.

These events are important because till date it has been the best
period of the Church. Although it was a very short period it had
contributed in a great way to the growth of the Church throughout the
world. If one reads the letters to the Churches in the book of
Revelation which are letters to the stages to the Christian Church,
this stage the first stage gets away with the least rebuke till date.
The name given to this stage in these letters was Ephesus which means
'permitted'. By reading Acts we see why this name was given to this
Church. Everything good or bad contributed to the growth of the Church
in a great way. The Lord allowed or permitted things to go against His
people but these helped in spread and strengthening His people and
adding many to His congregation.

We also see the 'we' factor been used a lot in this book. No doubt
there were some difference of opinion among the leaders but yet they
worked together as a team solely for the purpose.

During this time there were many who claimed to be appointed by Jesus
or claimed to be close to Him but this Church did not get mislead by
them. Luke we find did not give much importance to document these
people. This Church did latter move into a spirit of
self-righteousness for which we see a warning given by the Lord with
the consequence being that He would take away His Spirit from being an
active part of the Church. This did happen and the Church latter moved
to the stage we called today as the dark age of the Church or as
written in the letters as becoming the temple of Satan, it was given
the name Smyrna which means 'myrrh' a perfume also used as a poison to
kill.

We who have moved from the Thyatira phase (means 'odour or affliction'
phase when the Church came out of the Catholic Church a temple of
Jezebel) are in the Sardis phase (means 'red ones' where only a few
are really in the Lord) will be moving into the best stage of the
Church of Christ which is Philadelphia (means 'brotherly love' which
sees the real glory of God when all denominations come together as
one) need to give utmost importance to these records of Acts to as to
learn and improve.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we thank You for those whom You used to give your Word unto us
and also those who documented events and understandings of your Word.
Lord, direct our path and help us learn from the good and bad events
that were connected to the early Church. Help us to come together as
one Body and be in your Name so that your glory be manifested amongst
your people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Revelation 1:1-11
1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith
he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the
midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou
canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say
they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast
laboured, and hast not fainted.
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left
thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do
the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will
remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans,
which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of
life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things
saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich)
and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not,
but are the synagogue of Satan.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the
devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye
shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I
will give thee a crown of life.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

2.
Finished

Wrath of God is finished

Today instead of a scripture I received just a word 'finish'.

A long time back the anger of the Lord was on one of His loved ones
who being a shepherd was walking in his flesh, and the Lord asked me
to warn him. The Lord had given me a vision showing His wrath in the
form of a tornado. This tornado soon like a whip hit him.

I did go to the brother's house and warned him, but he did not abide
to my rebuke and within a week he was hit by a serious illness and
hospitalized. By that illness a person would normally take 3 to 6
months to recover fully. But by God's mercy he was back preaching
within a week. It was then I realized why the Lord showed me His wrath
as a tornado.

A tornado is a powerful destruction force of nature but by the mercy
of God it does not last long.

I believe in today's message the Lord is talking to the people of the
US who have been experiencing His wrath. Even in this destruction I
tell you brothers and sisters, you should get down on your knees and
thank God for it was just short tornadoes and there are over for now.

This country was founded on Christian believes but today we see it has
turned into a modern Babylon. There is no limit to the amount of
perverseness that exists in the minds of the people of USA. The few
true Christians that exist have the mentality of minding their own
business. Their Christianity is among the four walls of the Church
halls and giving money.

The Lord says we need to be like a lamp which shines, a lamp that is
not placed in a closet or under any table. The Lord is not telling the
Christians there to take a revolution on the streets to change things.
The light of Christ in us should shine among the surrounding
neighborhood. The Lord is speaking to each Christian to overcome the
darkness in their neighborhood by their goodness, mercy and love.

Imagine if each Christian dedicated just one day of the week or even a
few hours of that day to step out of their doors and visit their
neighbors, helping the people in need around them. I am sure there
would be not much time we would see change happen to the whole
country.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are a righteous God. In your righteousness You get angry but
your love and mercy keeps us alive. We thank You Lord for your love
and mercy. We also thank You for stopping the disaster which happened
in the US. We ask You Lord to speak to the hearts of our brothers and
sisters in the US that they may be practicing Christians and less
audible Christians. Let them know that by just given money they do not
become good Christians. Lord, let your light shine in abundance and
bless them...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Isaiah 66:15
15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots
like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with
flames of fire.

13 Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a
whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are
spoiled.
14 O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be
saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

Jeremiah 25:32-38
32 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from
nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the
coasts of the earth.
33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the
earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be
lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the
ground.
34 Howl, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes,
ye principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your
dispersions are accomplished; and ye shall fall like a pleasant
vessel.
35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of
the flock to escape.
36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the
principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD hath spoiled
their pasture.
37 And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce
anger of the LORD.
38 He hath forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is
desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of
his fierce anger.

Micah 7:16-20
16 The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they
shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.
17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of
their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD
our God, and shall fear because of thee.
18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth
by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not
his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will
subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the
depths of the sea.
20 Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham,
which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

Are we like Peter

Luke 22:34 - And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow
this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

Simon who was called Peter is one great example for us Christians
especially those living in these days. He was one person very excited
about doing something for Jesus and being in the forefront. He was a
very active person if asked a question he would be among the first to
answer even if he did not know the right answer.

Since he spoke too much even without having knowledge he was called
Peter, because the name means 'pebbles' which symbolizes untruth and
in Hebrew its equivalent name 'Tyrus / Tyre' was given to Satan.
Therefore we find Jesus mostly referred to him as Simon and only
during certain situations only called him Peter; unlike others who
always called him Peter.

We Christians also behave like Simon becoming Peter. Many times in
our lives we may be over excited about the Lord but not knowing the
Truth we still open our mouths and speak out. We at times have faith
even to walk on water but when we see our situation we lose our focus
of the Lord and the situation starts to crush us. We do not let the
will of God to be fulfilled in our lives because we are so rooted in
this world and its worldly life. We will have a sick at home and the
doctor with us but we will not tell the doctor about the problem. We
lost in our problems or worries may show our spiritual nakedness for
things we desire. We love Jesus dearly but during the actual test we
land up denying Him not once, not twice but many times.

It is time we stop being Peter shaky on the Truth but become more
Simon, which means 'one who has heard'.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord Jesus, You chose us and loved us even when we did not know You.
Even though by your Spirit You walk with us day to day building us yet
at times we walk tangent to your ways and your thoughts. Even when we
deny You, You do not deny us but love us even more. Lord as You built
Simon Peter build us for your purpose and fulfil it in our lives...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 4:36-39
36 And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What
a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean
spirits, and they come out.
37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.
38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house.
And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they
besought him for her.
39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and
immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

Luke 5:3-8
3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed
him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down,
and taught the people out of the ship.
4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into
the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the
night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let
down the net.
6 And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of
fishes: and their net brake.
7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other
ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled
both the ships, so that they began to sink.
8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying,
Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

Luke 6:13-16
13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them
he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;
14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James
and John, Philip and Bartholomew,
15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,
16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was
the traitor.

Luke 9:28-36
28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he
took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and
his raiment was white and glistering.
30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:
31 Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should
accomplish at Jerusalem.
32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and
when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood
with him.
33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto
Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three
tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not
knowing what he said.
34 While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them:
and they feared as they entered into the cloud.
35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my
beloved Son: hear him.
36 And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept
it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they
had seen.

Luke 22:31-34
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to
have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou
art converted, strengthen thy brethren.
33 And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into
prison, and to death.
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day,
before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

Luke 22:54-62
54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high
priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and
were set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly
looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also
of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently
affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is
a Galilaean.
60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately,
while he yet spake, the cock crew.
61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered
the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow,
thou shalt deny me thrice.
62 And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.
Luke 24:33-34
33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and
found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,
34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.

John 21:1-9
1 After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at
the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.
2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and
Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other
of his disciples.
3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We
also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship
immediately; and that night they caught nothing.
4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but
the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.
5 Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They
answered him, No.
6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship,
and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to
draw it for the multitude of fishes.
7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is
the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his
fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into
the sea.
8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not
far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net
with fishes.
9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals
there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

Are you prepared to return to your Master today?
Luke 17:7 - "And which of you, having a servant plowing or tending
sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come at
once and sit down to eat'?
Just a few days back there was a person named David Wilkerson a worker
in the Lord’s vineyard who had a car accident and died. I personally
do not know him or much about him but from the communications of
people I collected that he was loved and respected by many and he did
great work among the people in USA. He also influenced the people
around the world through his writings.
The Lord is talking to all of us especially those who are shaken up by
the event, thinking as to why and how, did such a thing happen?
Understand we the workers of the Vineyard of the Lord have a task or
mission given unto us. As we finish our mission and return the Lord
tells us to take rest in Him. We are not here on earth to build a name
for ourselves or an empire but we are called to work for the Kingdom
and glory of God, once we finish our work we return to our creator to
take rest in Him.
I am sure his soul must have found satisfaction in his work in the
Lord. Now it is for us to think when we go back are we going to return
completing the work given to us or return with incomplete work. What
do we say to the Lord when we have not looked well after the sheep He
has given to us or lost even one of them?
Are you prepared to return to your Master today?
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and our Good Shepherd. You came as man and showed us
how to tend to the sheep. You showed us the greatness in serving and
not in getting served. You are King but yet You became the Servant for
all mankind. Lord, help us prepare ourselves to complete the work You
have assigned us. Help nothing of our flesh come between our work and
we do not loose even a single sheep from the flock You have given us.
Guide us as we guide the one given unto us…
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
John 17:1-13
1 These things spake Jesus; and lifting up his eyes to heaven, he
said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that the son may
glorify thee:
2 even as thou gavest him authority over all flesh, that to all whom
thou hast given him, he should give eternal life.
3 And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true
God, and him whom thou didst send, even Jesus Christ.
4 I glorified thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which
thou hast given me to do.
5 And now, Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory
which I had with thee before the world was.
6 I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the
world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept
thy word.
7 Now they know that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee:
8 for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; and they
received them, and knew of a truth that I came forth from thee, and
they believed that thou didst send me.
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom thou
hast given me; for they are thine:
10 and all things that are mine are thine, and thine are mine: and I
am glorified in them.
11 And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I
come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name which thou hast given
me, that they may be one, even as we are.
12 While I was with them, I kept them in thy name which thou hast
given me: and I guarded them, and not one of them perished, but the
son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 But now I come to thee; and these things I speak in the world,
that they may have my joy made full in themselves.
1 Corinthians 3:10-15
10 According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise
masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth
thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is
Jesus Christ.
12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious
stones, wood, hay, stubble;
13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare
it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every
man’s work of what sort it is.
14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall
receive a reward.
15 If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he
himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

----
He is pre-eminence of all things
Colossians 1: 17, 18 - And he is before all things, and by him all
things consist [sustain in place]. And he is the head of the body, the
church: who is the beginning, the firstborn [first bought forth] from
the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
In Paul's letter to the Colossians 1:13-22 he gave a pretty good
picture of Who Christ is.
In today's message the Lord wants us to know some aspects of Christ from there.
It is written He existed before all things. When it says 'all things'
it means all things, it does not means only this creation but also the
Heavens and the Angelic creation. It also says all things are consist
or sustained in its place by Him. This means both that it is by His
power that all things are put in its place and also means that due to
Him all things are put in its place. He is the cause, the purpose and
the power by which all things exist.
In today's message there is a deeper revelation of Him given which is
that He is the head of the Body, the Church. People normally read this
in one meaning but really Paul disclosed two aspects of Him the
Heavenly and the Earthly as he did in his previous sentence v17.
In the Heavenly aspect He is the head of the Body. The body which Paul
is talking of is the Angels of Heaven. Like the Father is the Head of
the Godhead the Body which consist of the Spirit and the Son so also
the Son has a Heavenly body of which the Cherubim and Angels are a
part of. It is for this reason in scriptures there are confusions at
time an Angel appeared and the same situation is also written as the
Lord appeared. This Body is the Heavenly Body or the Temple of the
Lord which got damaged when a third of the Angels fell. Like on the
third day He resurrected in the same way on the third day (Heavenly
day / period) will His Body be made full again when we become part of
His Heavenly Body and will be bought to glory.
He is also the head of the Church. The word used here translated as
'Church' is the Greek word 'ekklesia', people simply translate it as
'congregation' or 'assembly'. This word is a compound word made from
two words 'ek' which means 'out' and a derivative of 'kaleo' which
means 'call'.
The word Church does not means just a gathering but specifies that it
is a gathering of people who are called out. Like the Levi were called
out to be separated and were selected as Priest so also we as
Christians are called out from this world to be holy and each and
every one of us is a Priest.
Christ was the first to have set an example of how to separate oneself
from the world while living on earth. He was also the first to have
gone to Hell due to the curse of sin and rose again by being set free
from the prison Hell. We who believe in Him have now also been set
free from this curse of sin.
Through His coming in our midst He Who was the first of all things in
Heaven also became the first of all things on earth.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You being God and creator became one of your creation so as to
save us and set an example as the first. You are first of all things
and all things are for and by You. We praise and glorify You for You
are our God, our Saviour, our King and Lord...
This we proclaim in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Colossians 1:13-22
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us
into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are
on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or
principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for
Him.
17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.
18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the
preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell,
20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether
things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the
blood of His cross.
21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by
wicked works, yet now He has reconciled
22 in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and
blameless, and above reproach in His sight
Revelation 12:3-4
3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red
dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his
heads.
4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did
cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which
was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was
born.
Revelation 21:21-22
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of
one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were
transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the
Lamb are the temple of it.
Luke 13:31-32 (Italic words removed)
31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him,
Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast
out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third I shall
be perfected.
John 17:5,21-24
5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the
glory which I had with thee before the world was.
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in
thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that
thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they
may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved
them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me
where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

To MountZion - Page 33 Empty Re: To MountZion

And the Kingdom shall be the LORD'S
Obadiah 1:20,21 - And the captivity of this host of the children of
Israel shall possess that of the Canaanites, even unto Zarephath; and
the captivity of Jerusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possess the
cities of the south. And saviours shall come up on mount Zion to judge
the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORDS.
For most Believers the Church they go to is the only Church and the
world for them. The Pastors and Priest have mastered the art of
putting Murphy blinds unto their congregation. The one classical
statement they make is 'abide by the authority'. Ironically Jesus is
the first in Church History Who started to question the authorities
and it was due to that He was hated by the authorities. He was the
first so called Protestant and founder of the Protestant Church which
protested against human authority.
When it comes to authority we need to first confirm, are the so called
authorities abiding by the Word of Lord and authority as Christ gave?
What we find is most shepherds are trying to make others more like
themselves and less like Christ or the purpose of Christ in that
person.
For many Christians Israelites mean those who live in or are connected
to the country called Israel. Paul clarifies in his letter to the
Romans a true Israelite is the one who believes in Jesus Christ and
thus becoming a descendant of Abraham, who being circumcised in the
heart becomes a real Jew. The rightful heir is not the one born out of
blood but one born out of promise.
A Church is not the small congregation one goes to nor is Gods Israel
just those who live in the country of Israel. The whole world is the
Lords and all mankind are part of the story. Every Believer anywhere
in the world is a person from your and my Church. Every Christian who
is baptized in Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit is a true Israelite
and true Jew.
Like when Jesus was born all the Jews had their eyes focused on seeing
something grand happening as their King is born, but their King was
born in a manger. Even the disciples of Jesus thought right unto the
Garden of Gethsemane that Jesus would lead a physical revolt against
the rulers and become King.
If asked of Christians how would the second coming of Jesus be and one
would get some real amazing answers. They land up bringing the Heavens
to the level of Earth and God to the level of a human.
It is really amazing the detail unto which the events unfold to the
last day are given in the Bible and God does reveal this to those who
are meek in spirit. Paul was built with clear understanding of the
days unto the Judgment Day. When I started writing among my first
major teachings which the Lord unfolded to me was about Creation
understanding how all things began, what Creation is all about,
understanding the Heavens, how the Word of God will conclude and
return unto the Lord unto His Temple.
When I wrote I had a small percentage of understanding of which I now
hold, but yet this understanding was mostly on tract with what I know
now. And I know that what I know today is nothing to what the Lord
will teach me in the days ahead.
When the Lord teaches, even though we know in part yet the parts are
progressive to the whole Truth and does not go perpendicular or
contrary to it. Understand not scripture or verse from the Word of God
- the Books of Instructions will or does contradict another. Even if
one did then we would have been doomed.
The Lord tried to give us an idea of some part on the end days through
the books of Daniel and Revelation as prophesied by the Prophets. The
Lord put a visual image on the story but they have been recorded in
these books like a jigsaw puzzle, all jumbled up. Without the Spirit
of the Lord it is just impossible to understand these and also one
needs to get to its root source.
In today's message the Lord is telling us He wrote the beginning and
He also wrote the end. All things are under His control, even what
which Satan does has been allowed to him within stipulated parameters.
When we are more in the Lord his access to us is restricted event
further and he cannot touch us. So let us stop worrying of the end for
the end is the Lords and stop worrying of problems for the Lord is in
control, but let us focus more on the purpose we have as Christians
and concentrate on our work as Christians, so that we harvest more for
ourselves in the Kingdom of God.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are God and You made all things with purpose. Your plans are
great and so also is your purpose. You have hidden all these from the
wise of this world and disclose them to the meek in spirit. Lord, help
us realize we need to grow in You and are far from understanding your
Kingdom...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
Daniel 12:5-13
5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one
on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of
the bank of the river.
6 And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters
of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?
7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of
the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto
heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a
time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to
scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be
finished.
8 And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what
shall be the end of these things?
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and
sealed till the time of the end.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked
shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the
wise shall understand.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away,
and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a
thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three
hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and
stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
Matthew 12:1-14
1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and
his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn,
and to eat.
2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy
disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.
3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was
an hungred, and they that were with him;
4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread,
which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with
him, but only for the priests?
5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the
priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?
6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.
7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not
sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.
8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:
10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they
asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they
might accuse him.
11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that
shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day,
will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?
12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful
to do well on the sabbath days.
13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he
stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.
14 Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how
they might destroy him.

Prepare yourselves for the disasters
Zephaniah 2: 3 - Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which
have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may
be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.
We have been given warning about the destruction and disasters that
are and will escalate in the near future, at the same time the Lord is
also telling us how to be saved from all these.
One may wonder how anyone can be saved from these massive disasters.
Let me share in brief one of my testimonies on one disaster which hit
Mumbai when Mumbai was flooded on 26th July 2005.
I was given a message by the Lord almost week to 10 day in advance
about the 2 floods, one which hit Mumbai and the other which hit the
places around. The cause and purpose was also explained to me.
At that time before the floods hit Mumbai I was at a retreat in Goa
(this was when I was in the ministry) where we experience the most
awesome anointing ever in our lives. Almost any person having any
problem who walked in that room that day had a testimony. We saw with
our own eyes a child who had water filled head, right before us his
head was shrinking and veins started becoming visible. The child's
eyes were fully white for his cornea was behind and before us the eye
balls were rolling and coming to normal slowly. A person bought on
wheels went walking that day. I will never forget the anointing that
we experienced that day for there was none standing on their feet in
that room. One would be slain in Spirit and the one who helped that
person to get up would soon be slain and helped by the person whom he
or she had helped. In that small hall there was hardly any place to
keep a leg.
On the way back heavy rains followed the train we were in. Somewhere
in between the journey due to some technical reason we were delayed. A
few stations later the driver started reversing the train back to a
station. Most of the journey we were traveling in almost flooded
waters but in between the driver did not feel right so reversed the
train and we halted at a station which fortunately was at a height. We
came to know soon later that the tracks ahead were all washed away and
the tracks behind us had boulders from landslides.
We were at the railway station for almost a day and half with little
food or water and very unhygienic situation. In the early morning
before the break of dawn many sleeping in the boggy heard a voice
telling us to getup since the government sent buses for us to take us
ahead to Mumbai. None of us saw any person but the voice was loud and
clear. We all got up and packing our things stepped out on the
platform. After stepping out our boggy people realized we were the
only ones standing out while all others were yet asleep. The lights of
our boggy went off because of lack of fuel. So we made our minds to go
to the bus station and catch a bus. We walked in hip level waters and
reaching the station could not get in the first buses but latter we
managed to get in comfortably into a bus. After we all reached Mumbai
to our own residences we heard the whole of Mumbai was flooded. When
we were in the bus and in the modes of transport from the Central bus
station to our houses there was hardly any rain, but within an hour
the whole of Mumbai was flooded. We learned that the floods were just
behind us right from Goa and as we reached our house the whole of
Mumbai was flooded. Had we been still in the train (and still safe) we
would have not reached our houses at least for 4 to 5days. For the
floods took at least 3 days to normalize.
It was latter I realized the flood warning and also realized how an
Angel of the Lord woke us in the train and made us to get on to the
last bus from that place to reach Mumbai.
The Lord is telling us if we need to be saved from all these
calamities it is not sufficient we worship Him or called ourselves by
His Name. He is telling us the only way out is to seek righteousness
and meekness.
Seeking righteousness means to separate ourselves from that we know as
wrong. Many Christians live in grey areas and find it okay because
some light is seen there. The Lord is now telling us He is going to be
less tolerant and wants us to either dwell in white or in black and
His anger will be poured on specially those who live in the grey. He
says 'Be holy for I am Holy' and thus we need to separate ourselves
from the understanding and traditions of this world. That does not
mean we need to hibernate in far off place. We living among the
unbelievers need to love them, help them but not corrupt our
relationship with God or the Truth in us because of them or things
originating from them.
We are also called to pursue meekness (humility). This does mean to do
social service or look after the poor. That is good, but that will not
save us from these disasters. The word used here means to be poor in
spirit. Being meek here means to be of want or thirsty in spirit.
Unless we do not keep being always thirsty in spirit for the Lord we
will not grow in spiritual relationship with Him and mature into
becoming Sons.
So let each one of us prepare ourselves for the storms and other
turbulence coming before us by anchoring ourselves unto righteousness
and meekness.
[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You love your people dearly but You also hate sin and darkness.
You are light and want your children to dwell in light. Lord, we pray
for your people ourselves including that we receive courage and
spiritual boldness to walk in righteousness. Help us circumcise our
hearts and help us always know that we need more and more of You and
your Kingdom...
This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.
[Reference Scriptures]
1 Peter 1:13-23
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to
the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation
of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the
former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all
manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons
judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your
sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible
things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by
tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without
blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world,
but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead,
and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through
the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one
another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Go buy yourself a sword

Luke 22:35,36 - And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse,
and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.
Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take
it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell
his garment, and buy one.

The way the messages we are receiving from the Lord of late, I tell
you brothers and sisters in the Lord please tighten your seat belts
for we are soon going to go through a turbulent times. The events we
are seeing happening in the Middle East and other places are going to
result in an ugly face for Christians. These are just human factors
but also the nature factors like the earthquakes, the tsunami, the
crazy storms etc. are not done yet; we also have the problem of food
and the problems of diseases they are all going to take the world into
the next level.

The Lord had been merciful to us and even in our worst situation He
has blessed us, but many among us have encashed His blessing unto
worldly things like money and luxurious life. Today the Lord is
telling these people they would need to sell all these and buy means
and methods to safe themselves from what is set forth for them in the
days ahead.

This message is a very strong message to all who sit on the fence or
want to use God for their earthly pleasures. It is time they repent
from their ways or else things are going to be worst for them.

By calling themselves Christians they have become number one enemies
to Satan and by not totally surrendering to the Lord they are not
fully protected. Today the Lord is telling them even the little
protection they enjoyed would be taken away and they will need to fend
for themselves.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, this world does not know You because they do not see your glory
on your people. Your people are not walking according to your Word and
therefore are suffering. Lord, your Church has been waiting and your
Saints have paid with their blood and their blood is crying out to
You. We pray Lord that the hearts of our near and dear ones repent and
come to You so that they do not become victims to vanity...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 10:16-22
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye
therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils,
and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake,
for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall
speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall
speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which
speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the
father the child: and the children shall rise up against their
parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that
endureth to the end shall be saved.

Men of New Wine

Acts 2:13 - Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Many years back (when I was still in the Catholic Church) I used to be
part of a ministry whose leader was a fan of one of the prosperity
Gospel preachers who of late removed from the American TV broadcast.

This ministry leader had faith like I have never seen in any person
but because of his blind trust in preacher he had received an
anointing which was not according to the Word of God. Under this
anointing called 'the joy of the Lord' people would start laughing and
laughing aimlessly.

At one of these retreats I was hit by the anointing and even flew by
almost 3 feet in the air but was not hurt. With this anointing I was
laughing and laughing and to whom so ever I pointed my finger that
person too would be hit by this 'joy'. Any person under this anointing
would go on laughing for even hours holding their stomach unless
someone says 'peace be with you'. We were not so rooted in the Word so
could not discern this anointing.

For a few days even then this leader would call me on the phone and
hand the phone to another person my slight laughter would cause those
people to be hit by this anointing.

It was only after some time when I sat meditating on the Word and
comparing this 'joy' with the joy the scriptures talk of I found a
great difference in it. The joy which the Word spoke of was that which
comes when the Truth helps us overcome any situation of concern. The
Lord did explain to me this joy and helped me experience this joy in
great measures soon as I started meditating on it. There was a great
difference in experiencing this joy and the 'joy of the Lord' which
was passed by person to person. It was just sometime back I came to
know the root of this so called 'joy of the Lord', it had its roots in
Hinduism and is called as Kundalini spirit (Youtube has many videos on
this). It found its way into Christian Churches long back and its peak
was in the Toronto Revival where the preacher later was removed from
the Church for unchristian activity.

Why am I sharing this?

The root of people getting mislead is from today's scripture in which
disciples who were in the upper room at Pentecost were accused of
being influence of ‘new wine’ when they spoke.

The people think of intoxicating wine when they read the word 'wine'.
The scripture clearly says 'new wine' or flesh wine which means grape
juice. When Jesus celebrated the Last Supper He used grape juice or
fresh wine. People loved to have strong wine or mildly intoxicated
wine but fresh wine was strange for them.

The disciples were not behaving in any drunken manner under anointing
of the Holy Spirit but what they spoke was sounding strange to those
who were hearing it.

In today's Church we find Satan distracts people from receiving their
blessings by bringing this drunken anointing on people at out reaches.
There are some kinds of effects which happen when people are under
anointing like trembling or getting slain but drunkenness or laughing
insanely are not among them.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Holy. When sinful people approached your holy mountain
there was trembling but when Moses was alone on the mountain there was
not trembling for he was under immense grace. Lord, your people are
misled and suffer because of they lack knowledge of your Kingdom.
Lord, we pray that they really experience your anointing which changes
people from inside. This Resurrection Sunday we pray for a fresh
anointing on all that receive your message, that they reach new levels
of relationship with You.

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 2:1-21
1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with
one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty
wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it
sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak
with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every
nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and
were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own
language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another,
Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in
Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about
Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the
wonderful works of God.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to
another, What meaneth this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and
said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem,
be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the
third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour
out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men
shall dream dreams:
18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those
days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth
beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood,
before that great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name
of the Lord shall be saved.

The Great Day is very near

Zephaniah 1:14 - The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and
hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man
shall cry there bitterly.

When a small toddler does mistakes we do not get angry and some may
even say 'so sweet' but if an adult does those same things them surely
people would get very upset and even tell that person 'are you
insane'.

From the time Christ, by His sacrifice made available for us the
promise of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God has been teaching and
opening the minds of people to understand scriptures and bring people
to the Truth. There are some people who are rooted in the Truth but
there are many who still love to dapple with untruth.

When Joseph (OT) wore a coat of vivid colours (symbolizing - having
various kinds of understandings) the Lord first got it removed by his
brothers and then took him through an unforgettable testimony and
latter put on him a royal linen coat. Joseph was not that blessed like
us for we live in a time of abundant grace because of Jesus Christ.
Even after receiving this abundant grace and the promise of the Spirit
of Truth yet people love to spiritually wear vivid coloured clothes.

Today as we celebrate Resurrection Sunday most adult Christians still
like toddlers love to continue dapple with Easter even when they know
what it means. They say what is there in a name?

The main power of Christianity is the Name. The Spirit of God, the
Power of God works in us to get us to know the Name of the Lord so
that we may have authority and power in Him by His Name.

The Lord is tell us today these men of mighty thinking will very soon
see a day where they will bitterly cry. They are called to lead people
and with them walking in crooked manner how are they going to be good
examples and lead the people to the rightful destination?

The time has come now when the Lord is going to first take account of
the leaders and bring them to task. So if the Lord has called you to
lead and if you are knowingly wearing vivid coloured understandings,
it is time you take them off and stick to the Truth. Do not try to
compromise the Truth to please people.

The Lord has not instructed us to gather a crowd in His Name but
instructed us to gather His people in His Name. We are called to give
the Gospel to all people but only His sheep will hear His voice and
follow Him, do not try to manipulate the Gospel so that those who are
not listening may listen.

Just 2 days back in the far suburbs of Mumbai there were a few priests
who got arrested for converting many people. One may have great
respect towards them for what they did but if one really understands
what they did and how they did it one would understand why the grace
and favour of the Lord was not on them.

These priests had gone to village like areas where people were mostly
uneducated. These priests told the people there that the world will
end in 2012 and only those Christians who are in Bethlehem would be
saved. They told these people that when they become Christians before
the end comes they would simply vanish from this place and find
themselves in Bethlehem. So many of these people out of fear converted
to Christianity and some even sold their property and their belongings
because they did not find any need of them in Bethlehem. The priests
are now arrested and put behind bars.

These priests void of understanding of scriptures did more damage to
the Kingdom of God then good.

Are we like these priests misleading people by our vivid
understandings of the Kingdom of God? If so, let us repent so else the
wrath of God may soon fall on us.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Truth and your Word is Truth. You are Holy and You would
not like any unholy thing to be associated with You. You take your
people through fire to purify them and those who are not found walking
on your instructions would be consumed. Lord, we pray for those weak
and having fear of man that your grace be multiplied into their lives
and they take courage and not fear the people but fear You alone...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Zechariah 13:7-9
7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my
fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep
shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.

Happy Resurrection Sunday - may the Lord raise you and your family in the Truth.

This is a sign of our Saviour

Luke 2:12 - And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe
wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

Today as I sat to write I was asking the Lord for a message hoping it
would be with the season that we are in, remembering the passion of
Christ. When I got a scripture from the early parts of Luke I felt a
little down but when I read it I said wow God does know how to get the
message in, as always.

Today as people are remembering the sacrifice of Jesus on the crucifix
(although it was yesterday) the Lord wants us to look at His birth as
a child in the manger.

The Angel of God appeared unto the shepherds watching over their flock
in the night. The Angel told them to go to the manger and they would
find a small child wrapped in cloths and this is the sign that the
Saviour is born.

Today the Lord is tell us the same thing but today the Lord is not
telling us to look at the manger but to behold the crucifix. Today as
we look at the crucifix we are reminded of our Saviour for this is the
sign for us that He has completed the works to open the door of
salvation for us.

When Jesus was born the Angels bust into worship signing ‘Glory to God
in the highest and on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased’.
Today we are expected to bust into worship looking at the sign of
Jesus on the crucifix. We need to sing the same song and also the same
words which the Angels of God proclaimed. Truly today looking at Jesus
on the crucifix we need to give glory to God for He became our peace
sacrifice by being hung on the crucifix. He gave His life so that the
wrath of God would be taken away from us by taking it on to Himself.

When He was a child He was wrapped in cloths but as He was hung on the
crucifix not a piece of cloth was on Him. When He was a child people
joyfully looked at Him but on the crucifix He was not recognizable
even as a human being.

He humbled Himself and became our sacrifice so that we can be lifted
up and be blessed with spiritual riches.

So today as we look at Jesus hung on the crucifix let us not be sad
but with a thankful heart let us give glory unto God for the mighty
work He has done for us.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are awesome and almighty God. When man sinned in your
righteousness You cursed man but in your mercy You humbled Yourself
and took the curse on Yourself for us. You bore our iniquities and set
us free from bondages. Lord, You were lifted up on the crucifix as a
peace sacrifice and by your Cross You became our way to Heaven. Lord,
we thank You and give glory unto You for You are truly God and beyond
words. We just prostrate ourselves before You and worship You, You
indeed are worthy of our praise...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Sacrifice]
Luke 2:8-14
8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field,
keeping watch over their flock by night.
9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the
Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you
good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped
in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly
host praising God, and saying,
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Galatians 3:13-14
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a
curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a
tree:
14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through
Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through
faith.

Numbers 21:5-9
5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have
ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is
no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light
bread.
6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the
people; and much people of Israel died.
7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for
we have spoken against the LORD, and against thee; pray unto the LORD,
that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the
people.
8 And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it
upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten,
when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it
came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the
serpent of brass, he lived.

Understanding Resurrection

Acts 23:8 - For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection,
neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both.

I will try to briefly explain the concept of resurrection in today's
mail, but this would require one to study it more deeply to get the
full understanding of it.

The word used for resurrection in today's scripture is the Greek word
'anastasis' which means to 'rise again'.

To understand resurrection we need to understand what rises again.
Since the Sadducees did not understand the elements of man and the
Heavens they did not believe in resurrection, nor in Angles and not
even the spirit world. But the funny part of it is they believed in
God. Imagine their concept of God in Heaven where nothing else exist!

On the other hand we had the Pharisees who the scripture says
'confessed' the existence of Angels and of spirit world but they too
verbally spoke of it but did not understand it nor understand
resurrection; but they did hope in live after bodily death.

We need to understand a human, Heaven and the events connected to sin
to understand resurrection.

Man is made of 3 elements spirit, inner man (soul) and body (flesh,
bones & blood). The right definition of man is that he is a spirit
being having a soul, living in a body. When God created Adam, He took
dust of which He made a body and put his spirit (not God's Spirit but
a human spirit) into it and it is written his soul became alive. Which
means the soul too existed before but was inert, but when the spirit
was put in the body the soul became active. If one understands this in
depth one will understand how blessings and curses (including
sickness) get passed from parents to children. In spirit man and
Angels are the same thus when we enter Heaven we will become Angels.

The life of a human spirit is made by God to live for thousands of
years but yet was not eternal. Only God (Father, Spirit & Son) have
life in themselves to live eternally. But for man and Angels being to
live eternally God made available the Tree of Life. Whenever a being
needs a recharge of life the being needs to just eat of the Tree. It
was this reason even though the Tree was accessible to Adam and Eve
they never felt to eat of it, but when sin came into them God removed
their access to the Tree of Life for their access to the Tree would
have allowed sin to live forever.

The human body when created by God too was designed to live a long,
long time but sin manifested into sickness and the bar for body life
was bought to 120years during the Noah floods (there was a case after
that where a person lived beyond 120years all because he dwelt in the
Sanctuary of God).

Before sin Adam and Eve were not restricted to their body and
therefore never felt naked. But when they lost the Fruit of
Righteousness, Truth and Holiness due to sin they were restricted in
the body and thus felt the nakedness of the body. Jesus demonstrated
His ability to overcome the body of flesh when He transfigured.

When sin came into man God cursed man that not only his body but his
spirit (soul including) would perish. The body perishes here on earth
but for the spirit to perish a prison called Hell existed. This prison
is not controlled by Satan but by the Angels of God. In this prison
there is no fire but the fire that burns here are the sins which are
within the soul of its prisoners. In this place one cannot see another
being but can sense the suffering of those around him and is thus
called an endless pit. Lucifer (Satan - the Dragon) has been bound
here since start of creation and would be set free in the last days.

For those who believe in Lord Jesus Christ a place exist which is
called the Grave where the soul sleeps unto Judgment Day. If one knows
Who Lord Jesus Christ is then one would understand why people before
His coming as man and becoming our sacrifice also slept after they
died.

The Heavens have 7 levels and we exist on the 3rd lowest level with
Grave and Hell below us. Evil spirit can exist freely on our level and
a level above but cannot enter the real Heaven the Holy levels. They
can be put in Hell from where they cannot return. Jesus had that
authority but He gave us only the authority to drive them away not put
them in Hell. Nothing evil but only God and the Sons of God (those who
have the image of God in them) can exist in the top 3 levels. The top
most level also called the Holy Mountains is the most Holy place where
the glory of God is seated.

The rule of Hell is imprisonment for all soul which has sin in them.
Jesus went to Hell because the sins of mankind were on Him, but He
could not be kept there for there was no sin in Him. He was set free
again and reappeared on the third day which is what we call as He rose
again or resurrected. The Power of resurrection is the Power (Holy
Spirit) Who kept Him without sin when He was yet man and as Paul says
this Power is now in us.

We who are sinners even when we die will still not go to Hell if we
believe in Jesus Christ for by His rising again He broke the curse for
all those who believe in Him. We will go to sleep and be woken up when
He comes again to judge us. He will come again when man earns the
Fruit of Truth which is the full understanding of the scriptures with
the help of the Spirit of Truth. After passing the Judgment we would
be given the remaining 2 Fruits of Righteousness and Holiness from
Jesus Christ and thus becoming Sons, be able to enter Heaven.

People sleeping in the Grave are not allowed to interact with sinful
man for God has forbidden it. The spirits which claim to be dead
people are actually evil spirits deceiving people. When Saul did
communicate with the spirit of Samuel he was condemned to death along
with his sons that very day. Since Jesus was without sin and all the
Spirit of God was in Him in fullness He could communicate with the
spirits of Moses and Elijah when He transfigured.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, when You created the Heaven You knew Satan would revolt against
your plans and cause darkness. To make things perfect You created man
to bless them in You and replace Satan and the fallen Angels. You plan
to bless us even more and take the Heavens to a new level of glory.
Lord, we just cannot wait to be in You and to be glorified in You.
Your Bride the Church awaits the day when You will come back to
receive Her and make Her people into Sons of God. We thank You for
breaking the curse of death and giving us new life by your
resurrection. ..

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl
of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created
he him; male and female created he them [gender male].

Genesis 2:7
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 2:9
9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is
pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the
midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 2:15-17
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden
to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the
garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not
eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely
die.

Genesis 3:6-7
6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it
was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise,
she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her
husband with her; and he did eat.
7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were
naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Genesis 3:17-19
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice
of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee,
saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;
in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return
unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and
unto dust shalt thou return.

1 Samuel 28:9-19
9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath
done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the
wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my
life, to cause me to die?
10 And Saul sware to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD liveth,
there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing.
11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said,
Bring me up Samuel.
12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and
the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou
art Saul.
13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou?
And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man
cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it
was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed
himself.
15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me
up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make
war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more,
neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that
thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do.
16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the
LORD is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy?
17 And the LORD hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the LORD
hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy
neighbour, even to David:
18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst
his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing
unto thee this day.
19 Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand
of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me:
the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the
Philistines.

Leviticus 19:31
31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after
wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.

6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and
after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face
against that soul, and will cut him off from among his people.

------
He walked into the wilderness with our burden

Luke 24:24-27
24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and
found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.
25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all
that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into
his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto
them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Most Christians yet do not understand the sacrifice of Jesus; they
think on the crucifix Jesus got our sins to be forgiven.

There were many sacrifices which Jesus performed according to Law of
Moses (Law of the Lord) on the crucifix and the main among them was
the peace sacrifice. It was this reason He was hung from a height by
his limbs. To confirm the fulfilment of the peace sacrifice Jesus
appeared from hell on a Sunday which was the day when the peace
sacrifice was celebrated.

What will surprise all is that even after appearing from hell Jesus
still continued performing the sacrifices for the salvation of mankind
and one of them was the forgiveness of sins.

According to the Law the High Priest would lay his hands on the head
of a live goat and this goat would be taken into the wilderness and
let loose in an inhabited land.

Jesus immediately after appearing from hell did not let Mary of
Magdalene to touch Him. Before His crucifixion the people had laid
their hands on His head while putting the crown of thorns on His head.
While doing so they had transferred the sins of all mankind on His
head and He was yet to perform the sacrifice for forgiveness of our
sins.

After appearing from hell Jesus surprisingly starts on a journey on
foot into the wilderness (for about 12kms). Jesus at this time was
performing the sacrifice of forgiveness of our sins. The place He was
walking towards was a village of Emmaus which in Greek means 'hot
spring' but in Hebrew means 'mule'. He was still carrying our burden
of sins on His head and walking into the wilderness as our sacrifice.
He completed all the sacrifices on that day itself and ascending to
Heaven and offered His Blood on to the Mercy Throne. It was because of
this He allowed His disciples to touch Him later that day.

On Resurrection Sunday we celebrate the breaking of the curse of
perishing to dust and completion of all sacrifices. Jesus became our
peace sacrifice and made peace between God and those who believe in
Him.

Man when sinned was cursed to perish not only bodily but even his
spirit and soul was condemned to hell to perish. Jesus by His being
set free from hell broke the curse for all those who believe in Him.

After our death our bodily will go to dust but now our spirit and soul
does not. We live because He broke the curse for us and He confirmed
this by His reappearance after going to hell.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, it is only by your Spirit that we come to know the great
sacrifices You performed for us to set us free from sin and broke all
the curses by becoming a curse Yourself. Lord Jesus, in You we have a
confirmation of complete victory and eternal life. Your Spirit leads
us to that victory and eternal life. Lord, we pray that the minds of
people be opened and may they release what You have accomplished for
man by your Sacrifice...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Leviticus 16:15-23
15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the
people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as
he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy
seat, and before the mercy seat:
16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the
uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their
transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the
tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst
of their uncleanness.
17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation
when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come
out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household,
and for all the congregation of Israel.
18 And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and
make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock,
and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar
round about.
19 And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven
times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the
children of Israel.
20 And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and
the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the
live goat:
21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat,
and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and
all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head
of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the
wilderness:
22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land
not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
23 And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and
shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into
the holy place, and shall leave them there:

John 20:10-20
10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept,
she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and
the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto
them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they
have laid him.
14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus
standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?
She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou
have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will
take him away.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto
him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to
my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my
Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the
Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,
when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear
of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them,
Peace be unto you.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his
side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

Genesis 3:17-19
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice
of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee,
saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;
in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return
unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and
unto dust shalt thou return.

Colossians 1:19-21
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to
reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be
things in earth, or things in heaven.
21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by
wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

His people are waiting for Him

Luke 8:40 - And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the
people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

In the Bible we see more importance is given to purpose and process.
It is by the process the purpose is perfected.

God did not make us without purpose just to exist. When God made us He
had a purpose but to perfect the purpose He put us through a process
and that process is what we call life here on earth in this flesh.

God very well knew when He created Satan what he would do, God also
knew how man would sin and fall. But God also knew the answer and
wrote the victory through His Son and His Spirit. The Son became a way
for the Spirit to do the work in man.

All Christians who know that life here on earth is the process of
preparing us for the eternal life in Heaven, are all waiting for the
second coming of Jesus Christ. Their waiting for Jesus is because we
know that Jesus' coming is a sign of the completion of all that God is
written of the process we need to go through.

God has prepared awesomely for us in Heaven which awaits us and to
take us to Heaven is what Jesus would be coming for.

We may be going through difficult times, persecution in the Name of
Christ but all these are just temporary and will come to an end but
what awaits us is worth more than all that we suffer. So let us with
great joy await the coming of our Lord Jesus and to quicken His coming
let us quicken the process which the Lord wants to do in us.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You did not make us for vanity. When You created us You had a
vision and that vision was good but to bring perfection in us You put
us through a process. Lord, Your wisdom is unquestionable and
non-comprehendible. You know what is right and good for us. Lord, we
may be suffering for a while but we know what awaits us is worth much,
much more. Lord, we wait for You to come and take us to our eternal
inheritance in You. So as we wait quicken the process of making Sons
of us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 24:3-39
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him
privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall
be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not
yet.
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing
out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck
in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the
sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the
beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh
be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there;
believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall
shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they
shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert;
go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto
the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be
darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall
fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and
then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the
Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and
they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end
of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet
tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it
is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all
these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of
heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe
entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so
shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Babylonian University

Daniel 1:3,4 - And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his
eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and
of the king's seed, and of the princes; Children in whom was no
blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in
knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them
to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning
and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

Since the Israelites had disobeyed the Lord even after the great
things that the Lord had done for them, the Lord delivered them into
the hands of King King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who was a Chaldean
king.

After the rule of King David and King Solomon the empire of the
Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar was well known along with the Lydian,
the Median & the Egyptian empires. The Babylonian empire in the 600BC
spread over a very large area but was smaller compared to the other
empires yet in History it will never be forgotten. It was during the
times of King Nebuchadnezzar the Babylonians gave us the era of
science. It was the efforts of King Nebuchadnezzar that the first
university in the world where the best of the learned people gathered
together to pursue the frontiers of knowledge and technology. They did
give us many things which we people today are benefiting from but
along with the good, they being Chaldeans (meaning cold-breakers) were
people also pursuing things like black magic, spiritism and other
evils. King Nebuchadnezzar was well known for the very beautiful
capital and especially for the Babylon Gate also known as Ishtar
(pronounced Easter) Gate.

In today's scripture King Nebuchadnezzar had instructed his army head
to bring the best of the Israelites who would benefit the agenda of
the Babylonian empire. God's favour was on King Nebuchadnezzar because
the Israelites sinned against Him.

The Babylonian empire after Jesus coming as man is the same story. It
was since the early church pursued concepts of the Nicolaitans
(Heretic teachers) that the Lord allowed the Babylonian rule on the
church.

Hold it, I have not got my history confused the Babylonian era I am
referring to is the rule of the Catholic Church. Like the Babylonian
empire this empire to also along with many good things also gave a lot
of corrupt which even today have misleads many Christians. This
started institutes for Bible study but corrupted these studies with
things from other beliefs. Like next Sunday the Believers would be
celebrating Resurrection Sunday and those still under this Babylonian
rule will celebrate Easter Sunday.

The Catholics celebrate things like Palm Sunday, Last Supper, Good
Friday and Easter Sunday and they have each and every one of them
wrong. If one goes into studying the Bible properly one would wonder
what they are celebrating (Jesus died not on a Friday but on a
Thursday and Last Supper – Jesus and His disciples celebrated the
Feast of the Unleavened Bread was done a week before the real Passover
it was the time they chose the Passover sacrifice lamb into the home -
Jesus died the evening before the real Passover just like the lamb was
killed the evening before the Passover which fell on a Friday at that
time).

No doubt for a believer a day or date is not important but understand
the purpose of celebrations is to witness to the unbelievers and those
growing in the faith, so by not celebrating at least in line with the
order of the days of the events of the passion of Christ we cause
confusion in the minds of people and people lose the understanding of
what Jesus did.

We even have now more confusion added with the latest book of the Pope
on how the Jews were not responsible for the death of Jesus Christ on
the crucifix trying to disapprove scriptures and please people.
Hypothetically if a post-mortem was done the reports would have shown
Jesus died of heart rupture for the way Jesus was nailed and hung and
the way He bleed the first organ that fails is the heart. Even after
the punishment by the Jews, Jesus was tortured by the Romans and He
did not die in that punishment but that does not mean their hand in
His death can be ruled out. Jew being under the rule of the Romans at
that time did not have the right to crucify anyone. They needed the
okay of the Romans.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, your people are blinded by the words of people and far from the
understanding of what You did on the crucifix and all the events
before and after that. Man has yet not received all the benefits of
your sacrifice for they lack understanding and are under the
strongholds of deceit. Lord, we prayer that open the minds of many to
know all that You accomplished for us on the Cross and it is not just
pertaining to the events on the crucifix...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

1 Chronicles 6:15
15 And Jehozadak went into captivity, when the LORD carried away
Judah and Jerusalem by the hand of Nebuchadnezzar.

Revelation 1:1-7
1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith
he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the
midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

Matthew 26:17-19
17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples
came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for
thee to eat the passover?
18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The
Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy
house with my disciples.
19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made
ready the passover.

Exodus 12:18-21
18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye
shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the
month at even.
19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for
whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut
off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born
in the land.
20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye
eat unleavened bread.
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto
them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and
kill the passover.

------
Christian outlaws

Isaiah 59:13,14 - In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and
departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt,
conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. And
judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for
truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.

Most Christians have moved from the Pharisee era (from traditions) to
the Sadducee era (following scriptures without understanding) and due
to this there are many who have become outlaw.

Yesterday I was conversing with an ardent Pastor who once upon a time
had about 10 Churches under him. He started studying and getting deep
into scriptures and speaking what the Lord was teaching him.

For some time the people started appreciating his teaching and flocked
to attend him meeting for they found boldness and power in his
teachings. He went various places even abroad sharing the Truth. But
when the teachings called for change in the way of life and working of
church leaders or the understandings which they carried, they started
taking offence with him. It soon came to a stage that they branded him
as a cult and banished him out of the church.

Today by God's grace and after 10 years they have realized their
mistake, but their mistake had a toll on the fire within him.

If we read in the letters of Paul the early Church leaders continually
studied the scriptures and at no time did they think they knew all.
This also does not mean that teachings should not be discerned, but it
means all teachings should be given a chance to be proven with the
Word of God.

I was happy today at the morning Church service the preacher spoke
things which the Lord had personally taught me about the Name of Jesus
and which I had not heard from any mouth. I only hope he too does not
get outlawed. One thing which I really liked which he shared was the
reason why most conflicts occur is due to desires. People desire or
lust for things of this world which are not according to the Kingdom
of God and to receive them they start to lie, deceive and destroying
people’s lives like in the message the Lord has given us today.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Truth. You are the same everlasting, You never change.
Your glory has no boundaries and your wisdom never comprehensible.
Through your Word Lord, You have made it able for man to have an
insight of your Kingdom and to come to know You. Lord, open our minds
and let man understand he is far from knowing the Truth in full and
what he knows is just a small part of it. We also pray for those who
operate in the flesh and distort the Word or mislead people, that they
repent from their ways or make them a testimony so that fear of You
will reign...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
James 4:1-4
1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence,
even of your lusts that war in your members?
2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot
obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume
it upon your lusts.
4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of
the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of
the world is the enemy of God.

2 Timothy 4:9-13
9 Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:
10 For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and
is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto
Dalmatia.
11 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he
is profitable to me for the ministry.
12 And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.
13 The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest,
bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

1 Corinthians 13:11-12
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I
thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish
things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now
I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
