People don’t like believing us when we say that the “palestinian” Arab society is a death cult. They literally worship death and martyrdom. They teach their kindergarten kids to want to kill Jews!

It’s hard for people in the West to believe this. How could this be? It goes against all the basic tenets of humanity. We are educated to believe that all parents want the best for their children. To keep them away from danger. Why would parents want to be trained in kindergarten to murder Jews? And be motivated to die trying to become a martyr, a shahid?

What types of parents are excited to see their kids enact killing and kidnapping people at their kindergarten graduation? Nobody who lives and grows up in a normal society.

Which is exactly the point. The “palestinian” Arab society is not normal. It is sick and disgusting.

No peace is possible until we accept this basic premise and deal with it.

It is impossible to make peace with people who teach that to kidnap and kill is holy.  They receive this with their mother’s milk. The truth is that simple. Sad, but true.

The Jewish Bible prophetically foretold that the Messiah would go through terrible suffering and humiliation, and in so doing, he would take upon himself all our evil and take the punishment for it, on behalf of humankind. The prophet Isaiah prophesied through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit before the coming of the Messiah:

“And the will of the LORD will succeed by His hand.” (Is 53:10)

The Messiah, through his death, would defeat the very power and rule of death itself.

The Scriptures prophesied about the resurrection of the Messiah from the dead, demonstrating his righteousness. Death could not hold him.

And whoever calls his name, God will immediately consider him righteous. He can have confidence that he will rise again from the dead, just as Yeshua did.

Even though the God of Abraham prepared the Children of Israel in advance about the Messiah through the prophets, the Jewish people were still shocked and found it hard to believe that Yeshua was the Messiah. In the seventh century BCE the prophet Isaiah wrote:

“He will be a Sanctuary, but a stone of stumbling and a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.” (8:14)

A stumbling block for Israel
In what way would the House of Israel and Judah fail? In the horrific death of the Messiah – the “crucifixion”. Such a death for the Jews is very embarrassing and humiliating, so it is an obstacle to faith to think that the promised Messiah would die on a cross. That is why the religious Jews refrain from reading Isaiah 53 in synagogues to this day. It is known as “the forbidden chapter”. History tells us that Yeshua was crucified during the era of the Roman Empire – he suffered and died for us exactly as God promised. Yeshua is their promised messiah!

A rejected idea for Muslims
And with the Muslims, the crucified Messiah is a “rejected idea” because it is impossible that God would allow the Messiah to die on a cross – it is a direct humiliation to God and the Messiah himself. I dedicated a video to this subject with the title: “The Shockwave of the Resurrection”.

Some 700 years after the time of Isaiah the prophet, Yeshua the Messiah began his ministry in the Galilee and Jerusalem. There he rebuked the Jewish leaders with some harsh words:

“Woe to you, Torah scholars and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut people out of the kingdom of heaven. For you do not enter yourselves, nor do you let those enter who are trying to go in.” (Matt 23:13)

In another case Jesus challenged the chief priests who had the Bible in their hands, without seeing the plan of God that was revealed in it.

“He said: You search the Scriptures because you suppose that in them you have eternal life. It is these that testify about Me.”

What will you decide?
Friends, the book of the New Testament is the natural continuation of the Bible and does not contradict the Jewish Scriptures that came before it at all. The time has come for you to examine the book for yourself – to find reliable evidence of God’s thoughts toward you. Think it through for yourself, and don’t allow anyone else to make your decisions for you.

Two thousand years ago, Jesus warned the chief priests and said:

“You’ve gone astray, because you don’t understand the Scriptures or the power of God.” (Matt 22:29)

And gave this parable:

“They are blind guides of the blind. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matt 15:14)

Please, think about your eternal life, so that no one will steal this gift of God from you, which Jesus bought for you in His death on the cross.

“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12)

“He is the One ordained by God as Judge of the living and the dead. All the prophets testify about Him—that everyone who puts his trust in Him receives forgiveness of sins through His name.” (Acts 10:42-43)

Hit them at their weakpoint
Omar Barghouti has a very clear objective.  He doesn’t hide it.  But he is smart enough to not fight Israel’s existence head-on.  So, he takes the one issue that is most difficult for Israel to justify and fights Israel from that angle.  This is a clever move that all military leaders use – hit them at their weak points.  One of the positive results of this is that Barghouti forces us to solidify our defenses.

History teaches clearly that massive dangerous movements start out as small dangerous movements.  The BDS is still small.  Yet, they carry much more weight than they ought to.  They need to be exposed for what they truly are – Jew-haters & Israel-haters.  They have one goal – to destroy the State of Israel.  It’s that simple.

Conclusion
BDS is the new leader of the new modern form of anti-semitism.  It is a slick anti-Israel version of same the age-old anti-Jewish hatred.  This is what the world knows so well.  In each generation, anti-semitism morphs into some more modern version.  But the core is the same.  Hatred of Jews.  We need to unmask the BDS movement.  We need to expose the aims, the goals, and the tactics of the BDS.  If people accuse Jews of being over-sensitive against anti-semitism, well – we have every reason in the world to be over-sensitive.

Why would an Arab Muslim choose to serve in the Israeli army? No, he is not required to do so the way the Jewish people in Israel are. So why would he die for a country that the world claims treats him unfairly?

The world and the media claim that Israel is an apartheid state. They say that Israel treats Muslims unfairly. But Mohammad Kabiya knows the truth. He knows that Israel is a democracy. It’s a free country that gives equal rights to people of all faiths. If Mohammad, an Arab Muslim who lives in Israel is saying this, then it must be true. He does not feel like his country discriminates against him. And that is why he is willing to serve in the Israeli army and die for his country.

Mohammad Kabiya’s Background
Mohammad Kabiya grew up in a village named for his family’s Bedouin Arab tribe. When he was a teenager in 2002, it was a violent time. “Palestinian” suicide bombers were blowing up Israeli citizens. Whose side would Kabiya be on? He was an Arab Muslim – could he possibly be on Israel’s side? As the question lingered in his mind, he saw men from his village wearing IDF uniforms. He wondered why they chose to join the Israeli army when they weren’t forced to. Their answer of it being their home did not convince him.

The Realization that Israel is His Home
Kabiya came to the realization that Israel is a free country whose goal is peace. No other Arab country gives as much freedom to Arabs as Israel does. After high school, he went to a top Israeli University, Technion. Within his first semester, Hamas launched continuos rocket fire into Israel. Of course, Israel had to defend itself and attack back. His fellow students supported Hamas and the rocket fire going into Israel. As Kabiya said, “Did these students not understand that those rockets could just as easily be aimed at them? Hamas didn’t care who they killed as long as they landed inside the borders of Israel.” And so, he decided to drop out of college. Why? To serve in the Israeli army.

So, that is why an Arab Muslim would be willing to die for his country, Israel. Because Israel means freedom, democracy, equal rights, and everything else that Mohammad Kabiya wants in a place he considers his home.

Palestinian invention
The Palestinian national identity is a modern invention. It denied the historic connection between the land of Israel and the Jewish people. That is why there is conflict in Israel. Faith Goldy came to Israel on a special trip to see the “conflict” with her own eyes, and in order to no longer rely upon the reporting from the media. Boy is she glad she did!

The Trip
Faith Goldy visited Israel and traveled across the country, from the North and all the way to the South. She went to the Northern border to see the civil war over in Syria. Then she saw the unbelievable things Israel is doing to help injured Syrians. Faith also went down South to the Gaza border to see the Hamas terror tunnels to better understand the situation there.

During her trip, Faith spoke to many different types of people to hear everything. She spoke to Jews, Arabs, two-state solution proponents, one-state solution proponents. In addition, she even spoke with people who told her that there is no solution. She really wanted to use her time in Israel to better understand, and she did.

Shocked by the Truth
In her video, Faith Goldy admits that she came to Israel believing that the two-state solution was the best solution. Yet she leaves Israel knowing that the two-state solution would be a disaster.

Stanley Goldfoot – a man of integrity
Stanley Goldfoot was born in Johannesburg, South Africa. When he was 18 years old, he heard Ze’ev Jabotinsky’s speech about Zionism. This idea – that the Jewish people should return to their homeland – greatly appealed to him. Stanley packed his bags, left his shocked family and made the journey to pre-state Israel. He joined a HaShomer HaTzair kibbutz (communal farm). At the kibbutz, he worked hard to contribute by picking eggplants in the fields and making floor tiles.

Getting kicked out
However, since Stanley arrived without an entry permit, the British police soon shipped him out of the country to South Africa. In South Africa, he was drafted into the South African Army, and learned to handle a rifle. Stanley later joined the Lehi group.

Returning to the holy land
As soon as he could, Stanley returned to Tel Aviv. He opened the first “School of English.”  This enabled him to enter into the British High Society. As such, he was privy to important information from the top echelons of the British Army. He was now able to pass this important information on to other Lehi members.

How did he do this?
Stanley had a cover story – that he was representing English and French news sources. His valuable “press cards” enabled him to go to many places. He was active in many other activities against the British Mandatory Power, while working in Jerusalem as a respected journalist. Some of those activities were so sensitive that they were never made public. After the rebirth of the Jewish State of Israel, he legally became a resident.

In 1969, Stanley Goldfoot wrote his famous “Letter to the World from Jerusalem.” It still rings true today just as it did back then.

I’m writing this post for my good friends.  My moral, humane friends.  And for all those who are concerned and angry over today’s deaths and injuries on the border with Gaza.
Regarding Israel’s exodus from Egypt, when the Egyptian army drowned in the Red Sea just before overtaking the Israelites.  Our sages say that God scolded the angels and prevented them from singing and rejoicing.  God said “my creations are drowning in the sea and you are singing?!”
I write these words with great caution, and from a sense of mission. I can understand and identify with all of those good and moral Zionists.  Those who fear that the many Palestinian victims may be our fault, the result of mistakes made by our side.

I want to testify from my firsthand knowledge, not a theoretical point of view. Because I was there.
I want to testify that what I saw and heard was a tremendous, supreme effort from our side.  We did everything to prevent in every possible way Palestinian deaths and injuries.
Our Mission
Of course, the primary mission was to prevent hundreds of thousands of Gazans from infiltrating into our territory. That kind of invasion would be perilous, mortally dangerous to the nearby communities, would permit terrorists disguised as civilians to enter our kibbutzim and moshavim, and would leave us with no choice but to target every single infiltrator.
That’s why our soldiers were directed to prevent infiltration – in a variety of ways.  We were told to only use live ammunition as an absolute last resort. The IDF employs many creative means of reducing friction with Gazans.  We use numerous methods – most of which are not made public – to prevent them from reaching the fence.

In addition, over the last few weeks there have been serious efforts to save the lives of children and civilians.  The Hamas pushes them to the front lines in order to hide behind them and then infiltrate and attack Israel.

Why Live Ammuntion?
When there is no alternative and live ammunition must be used to stop those who storm the fence – the soldiers make heroic and sometimes dangerous efforts not to kill and only to injure those on the other side.

The IDF is stationing senior commanders at every confrontation point to ensure that every shot is approved and backed up by a responsible figure with proper authority. Every staging area has an especially large number of troops in order to make sure that soldiers are not put into life-threatening situations where they will have no choice but to fire indiscriminately.

A situation where thousands of people rush you is frightening, even terrifying. It is extremely difficult to show restraint, and it requires calm, mature professionalism.

Unbelievable IDF Restraint
55 dead is an enormous number. But I can testify from my first-hand experience, that we carefully report every bullet and every hit. We document and investigate in Excel spreadsheets. Literally. I was there and I saw it with my own eyes.

This isn’t the time or place to discuss the situation in general and the desperate plight of the residents of Gaza. I’m not interested in starting a political discussion here, although I do have a clear position.

What I’m trying to do is present, for everyone who really wants to listen, the extent of the IDF’s enormous effort to protect Israel’s borders while minimizing injuries and loss of life on the other side.

And despite all this – the situation on the border with Gaza is deteriorating. I hope they don’t call us up again soon for reserve duty to protect our country. But if we are, we will go with the knowledge that we are serving a just and morally correct cause. We do not rejoice when we must go to war, but we also don’t go like sheep to the slaughter. Not anymore.

After 2,000+ years of exile and persecution, the Jewish people returned to their homeland. We should be an inspiration for all people of the world.  This symbolizes the ability to overcome all obstacles.  That would have been enough. Yet, in just 70 short years, the Jewish people developed Israel to be one of the most developed countries in the world, in so many ways.  Can you imagine? Not only did we overcome thousands of years of exile and persecution, but we are excelling in developing a world leading country.

Western Betrayal of Women
Saudi Arabia is a Muslim country with national laws based on a strict interpretation of Islamic law. Women do not have freedom or equality.  Electing Saudi Arabia to protect women’s rights in the UN sends the message that the United Nations doesn’t really care about women’s rights. It is an absolute betrayal of women’s rights activists in Saudi Arabia and indeed worldwide.

Despite this, at least five European countries voted for Saudi Arabia! This sparked a firestorm in Belgium, Sweden, Norway and Ireland. Opposition MPs demanded to know how their governments voted. The Belgium Prime Minister admitted that Sweden actually voted for Saudi Arabia. He publicly regretted it. But his words are hollow. Sweden preaches morality, values, feminism and women’s rights to the world. Yet they still vote for Saudi Arabia? They know how horrible Saudi Arabia is with protecting women’s rights. This vote is a calculated move.

Does the Swedish PM regret the Swedish vote? Or does he just regret being exposed and having to face the backlash against Swedish hypocrisy?

The status of some Women’s Rights in Saudi Arabia
Just recently, Saudi Arabia allowed women to drive! This is progress, but we are in the year 2018!  Better late than never, but let’s get some perspective about who we are dealing with. Western countries still voted for this country to protect women’s rights in 2018?

Examples of women’s rights in Saudi Arabia today
1. Saudi women must have a male guardian, called a “wali.”  A wali is typically a father, brother, uncle or husband.

They must obtain permission from their guardian in order to travel, obtain a passport, sign a contract etc.

The system makes it “nearly impossible” for victims of domestic violence or sexual abuse to obtain legal redress.  Why? Because the police often insist that women and girls obtain their guardian’s authorization to file a complaint – even when the complaint is against the guardian himself.

2. Women are forbidden to wear clothes or make-up that “show off their beauty.”  The Saudi government implements dress laws for women based on a strict interpretation of Islamic law.

3. Women are required to limit the amount of time they spend with men to whom they are not related. The majority of public buildings, including offices, banks and universities, have separate entrances for the different sexes.

4. Saudi women are only allowed to swim in female-only pools or spas.

The challenge for Saudi Arabia is the clash of strict religious teachings with modernity. As the new driving law exhibits, things are slowly beginning to modernize.

Saudi Arabia is the world’s most gender-segregated nation.  However, changes are now under way.  National Geographic says, “Multiple generations of women are debating how to be truly modern and truly Saudi.”

One Saudi royal advisor, Hanan Al-Ahmadi, confirms that a transformation of women’s rights is currently under way.

Al-Ahmadi emphasized that “we need to be able to create this change gradually and maintain our identity.”

Change is Welcome
While this current direction of improvement of women’s rights is an improvement, it by no means means that Saudi Arabia should be in the position to protect women’s rights around the world.

Miriam Peretz is a powerful woman, an inspiration to one and all. She lost two sons to Arab terror while serving as IDF soldiers. She also lost her husband to a broken heart after the loss of their first son. Overcoming the tremendous natural sadness from her huge loss, she now spreads love, joy and appreciation to all who hear her.

Israel Prize Winner
Miriam Peretz was the winner of the prestigious Israel Prize.  At Israel’s Central Independence Day Celebration ceremony in Jerusalem, Peretz was honored. In addition, she was chosen to speak at the ceremony on behalf of all sixteen of the 2018 prestigious Israel prize awardees.

She lost her eldest son, Uriel, killed in combat in Lebanon in 1998. Twelve years later, one of her younger sons, Eliraz, was killed in combat as well. He bravely fought terrorists in 2010 on the Gaza border.

Peretz was born in Casablanca, Morocco, moving to Israel in 1964, at the age of 10. Her story is unbelievable. It includes hardship and many challenges. However, her underlying life lesson is appreciation.

Her Story
“As a girl, I felt I did nothing for my country. I came to a ready-made country and didn’t know that there would come a day when I would give my dearest to the country — my sons Uriel and Eliraz. But you don’t just build a homeland with pain and tears, but also with labor and continued generosity,” she said.

“I am proud to be part of a group that chose to engage in education, out of the belief that this is the way to breach the walls of ignorance and inadequacy, and out of the understanding that education opens opportunities for self-fulfillment, as it had for me.

“Ladies and gentlemen, I stand humbly before my colleagues, honorable people who created, wrote, studies and invented, people of vision, creation and faith. I am not worthy, I don’t have a creation. I can’t point to a revelation I made or a formula I cracked.”

Broken Heart
“I have a heart that was broken three times with terrible announcements. The loss of my eldest son Uriel in battle in Lebanon, the death of my partner Eliezer due to a broken heart, and the loss of my second son in battle in Gaza,” she recalled.

“With that heart I came to my nation and in simple words, in the language of a broken heart, I spoke of this land and its legacy, of choosing goodness, of happiness, of devotion to life, of responsibility, of social involvement, and out of that heart which beats with faith in this country and this nation, out of the great depth of pain flowed springs of love.

“When the heart is full of faith, it can withstand great challenges. I turned my grief into a new melody.”

Tools of Good
When youtube, facebook, and twitter launched, many of us were excited!  We finally had an outlet to express our views.  Finally, we had an outlet to compete with rampant views expressed in the mainstream media. Finally, we had the ability to tell the world directly the truth about what is going on with Israel. We could reveal the truth about the antisemitism that is at the root of the Arab/Muslim world’s conflict against Israel. The truth about “palestine.”  A fake nation created in order to destroy Israel.  We now could fight against the theft of our history, identity and even some of our holy sites.  And of course, we now began to spread the truth about the terror we face.

It was no longer just the mainstream media peddling their ideological agenda. We were finally given a voice as well to reach the masses.

Messages of Hate
Over the past few years, while many of us have used social media to spread the truth and messages of good and unity, there are others who use it to spread hate.

Looking at some of the videos, pictures and posts of hatred it is absolutely shocking. The visuals and messages that one sees are of 1939 Nazi Germany appearing in the year 2018!

Just a few years ago, few people actually felt antisemitism in their lives – but it lurked in the background.  Here and there, a few antisemitic events occurred, but they were generally very minor incidents. Antisemitism was shunned.  If someone labeled another person an anti-semite, that was definitely a curse. But all that has changed. Now, antisemitism is all over the internet. And people are not embarrassed to express their true antisemitic feelings for the world to see.

Social Media Censorship
To make this matter even worse, the social media companies themselves are allowing hate and antisemitic posts and accounts while shutting down pro-Israel and anti-hate accounts.

Women in the military is not a new concept in Israel. Women have served in military capacities in Israel since before the founding of the State back in 1948.
In the Israeli Military
Israel is a small country with a small population. With enemies on all sides, constantly threatening her, the IDF needs to be fully staffed at all times. As the dangers grow, so do the needs of the army. Women, who make up more than 50% of the Israeli population are needed to serve just like the men.

Israel is a Jewish society with a big traditional population. Yet there also is a big population with more liberal-minded values. Much of the traditional Jewish community in Israel views women serving in the army as something to do only if needed. However, the liberal side of Israel sees it as a form of equality for women.

Israeli women mostly serve in all units across the Israeli army. Yet there still exists societal tensions regarding the issue of women serving in all units of the army.

The most contentious issue is whether women should serve in mixed combat units. To many it is undeniable that there are certain roles in the army that women excel at more than men. This especially applies to detail-oriented roles. However, there is a big debate about combat roles. Nobody denies that some women are capable of combat roles. But some argue that combat roles are not appropriate for women. And mixed combat units introduce a sexual tension to a situation where this natural distraction is detrimental to the soldier’s key role of protection.

While the IDF continues to pursue an agenda of integrating women in the military, society continues to debate the most effective way of doing so. It should be done in a way that benefits the women seeking meaningful roles in the army as well as the army, seeking to be the best army it can be.
