Hi Everyone,
A lovely warm sunny day here in Wales after a shower through the night.
Another rather hectic morning Stef needing to use the PC its Brendan's birthday shortly so trying to get something organised for the celebration, hence I am only now getting online while the little ones have gone out for a walk with Dad giving me some quiet time to get a few things posted.
I had some catching up to do phoning family to update on Bill who is on Monday being transferred for about 1 day to anopther hospital where they will do angiagram to find out how the heart is, with the hope that they will find in order to put forward to do a bypass, so we are praying this will be possible.
I haven't made any plans for today but it is so nice hopefully I will be able to get outside at some point.
Whatever your up to I hope you have a lovely day.
Blessings

Hi Everyone,
I was so tired lastnight was in bed before 9.30.pm I am usually a late owl and have a nap in the afternoon but since the little ones have been around there has had to be major changes in my lifestyle. The internet has to take backseat until they have been organised and got interested into amuzing themselves. We are getting some ground rules into place that you do not touch Nana's mouse or mobile phone, I wish you could see little Max's face he goes to touch turn around see me and his eyes widen as he walks away nonchalant. I have got him to stop squealing for attention when he needs something and now he plainly says "help me" so takes us by our hand to show what he wants which I think is amazing as he is just 17months old, I believe we underestimate what a little on understands before they can speak for themselves.
Rabbit has had some exercise outside but decided even with shelter under greenery outside decided wanted to come in, its quite a regime between the dogs and who is outside and which room they are allowed in, we have put a little latch at the top of door so that the dogs cannot get in to see or frighten Rabbie in his house.
Well I had better try get to posting around before Mid day.
Have a great day
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
We have a nice warm day here in Wales although rather overcast but the sun is peeping through from time to time. I notice some nice fat buds on my rose trees. Unfortunately my thornless scrambler last year Milo tore down but thankfully there is growth showing, not sure if it will flower this year. Hope springs eternal.
I am late getting online today as Stef needed to use my pc Brendan then needing to use for a little while as his laptop wasn't able to download what he needed to complete some work he is doing from home.
Stef and the children gone out for a walk now so I am rushing through to say hello.
It seems these days very little of my time is spent on the internet in comparrison to how I would be jumping on several times during the day. It does make for a pleasant change having the little ones around and need to make the most of this time together.
Whatever your plans I hope you will have a good day.
Blessings

Hi Everyone I hope you are all having a good day.
The weather has turned dreary here in Wales but we can let the sun shine in our hearts whatever the weather.
We get some days where things run smoothly but I've been finding new challenges to overcome. Rabbit is like Houdini and forever getting out of his cage, his favourite spot is with the electric wires and determined to chew on them which is a bit of a task making sure he stay clear of.
Bunnies look cute but can get up to mischief and need attention as do all animals. I am trying to think of a way that the wires can be covered and what spring to mind is to get and old hose from a vacuum cleaner slice and allow the cables to be housed inside, to find an odd piece of hose will be the next task.
Thankfully the dogs are pretty well behaved so stay clear of Rabbie and just lay in their corner and watch.
It's my brothers 60th Birthday so at some point today I have to go get a card after I have done some posting.
My bit of news for today.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
We had a damp start this morning here in Wales but the sun is trying to break through now.
I was up very early with all intentions to get posts out before mid-day but once again got side-tracked chasing my prescription which was supposed to have been delivered before the Easter Holidays. Thankfully after several phone calls they will deliver them today for me.
Paul did intend taking me out this afternoon but it seems we need to wait for the meds as they have to be signed for. Meanwhile I will catch up with some postings.
Always be ready to adjust to change of plan and not stress out.
Have a good day.

BUT on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men suddenly stood near them in dazzling clothing; and as the women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living One among the dead?"

"He is not here, but He has risen!"
Luke 24:1-6 NASB

Hi Everyone,
A blessed Easter Sunday to you all.
We have a bright sunny day here in Wales, I have been in the garden scattering some seeds in the hope that some will take root. Some of the hanging baskets from last year has grass growing, it was lovely to sit and watch the birds coming to eat the seed heads, I am so glad that I hadn't tidied them up.
I am taking things easy today listening to some music and some God channels on the TV just getting online to post around a little.
Whatever your plans have a lovely day.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
We have had a glorious sunny day here in Wales
First part of the day spent with the grandchildren supervising them while they enjoyed shovelling up the cotwold stones and putting into the wheelbarrow, we can always place them into their rightful home it pleases the little ones and keep them from digging at the garden. Later while Max took a nap Mum Ethan and myself took to craft making colourful Easter masks.
I spent quite a while in the garden later reading my bible and Streams in the Desert. It was lovely time with the birds singing in the background.
The family have gone to visit Fran in West Wales, I still have this bad virus so not a good idea for me to visit until it clears just in case anything is passed on when whoever goes to visit Bill in hospital, he is so ill I thought it for the best. I hope I will be well enough soon that I can go visit him. They will be back tomorrow but a fleeting call in as they are then invited to a childs birthday party. The rest of my evening I plan to do some postings around then prepare an easy dinner by the time Paul gets back in.
Whatever your plans I pray you will have
A blessed Easter weekend.

Post  salvationforme Fri 10 Apr 2009, 5:52 pm

Hi Elaine

Sorry to hear about Bill.

We pray that our wonderful God, at this Easter time, will touch Bill in a special way, that he would know the peace of God in his life and that he will take the opportunity to draw near and say to the Lord, "come into my life"

Father, you know his heart, heal him Lord in your way and purpose, give Elaine a sign that you are in control of the situation.

Especially at those times when Bill gets frightened Lord, draw near we pray, may he see that you are our hope and Salvation Lord.

Thankyou Lord for all that you are doing and going to do in Bill's life.

Amen.

Hi Everyone,
A God blessed Easter to you all.
Late getting online as been a rather hectic day. Much of the usual stuff to do, Stef thankfully yesterday through doing accounts for Washing machine Repair firm was able to find out how to do the minor fix needed so we been catching up on the loads of washing and drying backlog, some on the line others on the radiators.
Other than that Paul took me shopping and I was blessed to bump into my neighbour Mary also member of group to catchup a little on what is going on in our lives. Also two others from Church where I was able to ask for prayer for Bill.

I had some bad news this morning, Fran rang to explain things not looking good for Bill, originally it was hoped they could put in a stem for his heart when speaking with one but this was hoped as a first option if they could get him well enough, once investigations on him done and his health is not improving, they are working hard on getting the drugs which will work best for him for the water retension to be alleviated, he has had several major heart attacks, he is a miracle being with us and the only option to prolong his life is... if it were possible to get him well enough would be heart byepass although even this seems out of the question right now. It is their intention to keep him in hospital for some weeks and of course your prayers are much appreciated that above their expectancy Bill's health will improve that an opperation will be possible. Thank you.
Love to all
Elaine.

Good Afternoon
Hi Everyone
A damp day here in Wales I do hope it get's brighter for the Easter holiday.
Not a lot to report quite a mundane day apart from I've been to the vets with Milo to have his stitches out.
Brendan thought would be nice for us to have a curry today. The freezer will soon need defrosting so a chicken Korma and a lamb Rogan Josh on the menu, Brendan wants to do a Saag and the rice, we do enjoy sharing the cooking in the kitchen. Stef has gone to work today and his day off.
This morning he took the little ones to the library and to feed the ducks, geese etc., at the Castle nearby whilst I cleared away the breakfast dishes. I was on my way out to the vets as he returned, so he sorted lunch for them all and now at present taken the boys for a swim so I get chance to do a little on the net.
Time passes quickly so getting posts up in my group and around others as quickly as possible before their return, hopefully by then everyone ready for an early dinner.
Whatever your day I hope you have a good one.
Blessings
Elaine.

I'ts been a lovely sunny day here in Wales today, unfortunately not been able to get to hang out the washing on the line as been best part of the day trying to sort out the cycle to drain, yep you guessed it clogged so still trying to fix rather than call out repair man.
Apart from this been having a good day.
This morning watched a DVD Peter pan, with Ethan while Max took his nap. This afternoon Brendan myself supervising the little ones filling up trays and pots in readiness to sow seeds. We did have a bit of a drama once again when Max had opened Rabbits house and the dogs did a bit of a chase but thankfully caught them in time and obediently they came.
I have tried several times to post but have been called away for various reasons.
Our Rod/salvationforme was having problems getting into site with forgotten password so we sorted that, then I excused myself from the family while Rod and I had a time of prayer together online, in the past Rod and I usually had time of prayer together in the mornings so was lovely and like old times.
I hope you have had a good day, and for those with the day just begining I pray your day will be blessed.
Love
Elaine.

Hi dear ones,
We have a bright sunny day here in Wales UK.
Thankfully I'm feeling a lot better although still have a bad chest and the Botox looking lips swelling going down with treatment.
It seems lately that I am only able to get to post around
afternoon time.
Ethan being off pre-school for the Easter holiday and little Max both a full time job keeping them happy. Stef had to go to the doctors this morning but I coped OK thankfully most of the time they play nicely together, little Max is the strong willed one Ethan is so loving will compromise without too much of a problem to keep his wee brother happy.
I met up with a friend yesterday for a short while who shared a wonderful providence of God, she also had been helping out with 3 of her grandchildren and had left her handbag with all her money on the bus. She rang her son to explain what had happened Steven said "you can say goodby to that Mum", June sent up a prayer although admit felt a bit anxious, then about an hour or so later recognised the bus driver and asked had anyone noticed her bag, he quickly lifted up from under his seat, praise God it had been handed in. She was so excited to be able to again ring her son who is incidently backslidden to share how gracious is our God and answer prayers.
We go through seasons when it seems so many things go wrong it is good to share in these good times.

Another blessing in disguise, Frances my daughter rang last night to explain that Bill had filled up to the waist with water and had to be admitted to hospital, he is now on drip and catheter, the good news is he saw a specialist who is although keeping him in for a while will be looking into operating on his heart inserting a sten. When we remember, how Bill signed himself out of hospital many weeks ago and they gave him just 1 week to live our God is so good, please continue to pray for his Salvation.
I pray each of you will hold on whatever your trials and look up our God is good always.
May God bless your day everyone.
Love and blessings
Elaine.

By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.

Proverbs 22:4 KJV

Hello All,
You may have noticed my absence from doing much in way of posting I have been feeling very poorly, although did pop on to explain why not around.
Thankfully I am feeling a lot better in myself today.
My resistance must have been pretty low as under and inside nose multiple cold blisters also my mouth where my lips look as though a bad reaction to a botox Smile either that or compared to a thick lip from a boxing ring. lol! Rolling Eyes
Still have nasty chest infection, but the sickness is gone and I have eaten some light food today had my first cuppa tea since 1st April. From what I have heard of others with this virus going around for example Stef's friend, her Dad was taken into hospital with it so I am counting myself really fortunate that I have been able to get over the worse. I am blessed to have a family who brought me drinks and some meds while I was in bed.
Milo my dog is doing good and has his stitches out on Thursday, Paul had taken the Cone off him and hes been really good and not attempted to lick or let them bother him but of course keeping an eye on him.

As you can imagine a week off being Admin of group there is backlog of stuff I need to get through in mail and postings, many of members of the group have emailed me asking after me also some explaining their absence of posting, so I need to get to work on getting a Newsletter to explain to my group members plus reply to their mail.

I am posting this around as a general due to lack of time to do a personal for each group, I'm sure you will all understand. I haven't had time to catch up to read other posting threads so please excuse me if there are no replies, hopefully in due time given I will get time to read through how everyone is doing.
God bless you and yours everyone.

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well.
I am feeling a little better today thankfully, this bug hit me really bad where I just stayed in bed and slept, difficult for me to believe that I slept for 48 hours, hence me missing from being online yesterday.
I got up in the evening sat on the settee with a blanket to watch one of my favourite programmes on the TV only the fall asleep within the half hour programme which gives you some indication how rough I was feeling.
I am attempting to do a little on the net to let you know I am still around but need to take it easy and be sensible.
Whatever your plans have a blessed day.
love
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
Wow what a day, I am still somewhat suffering from the ear infections chest, nose stuff but apart from that designs to take Milo for his checkup from his op see that is not inflamed etc, this was an one hour journey to vets only to PDSA Ok I appreciate charity by contributions, but we had paid for the op and the check upin advance
I felt surely they could have made to accomodate The management having a General meeting.. Yikes notice when we got there a 2 hour wait with a dog he have to be keep quiet was impossible.
Anyway lol does anything go easy in any of our lives: have you seen a cow patt, as big as a dinner plate or largers, .....well the advice given it could be like 78 hours before Milo decide to open his bowels I think he saved it up for my front seat of the car.
I am really reallyfeeling unwell but as owner have to go along, for his checkup, It was moments we left Milo alone who did do a bit of whining but we didn't appreciate it could be his needing to evacuate! he jumped over from the boot of car as didn't want to do in his bed.
The rest of the day seems on trial after another and too much to be able to write down, in a nut shell Little Max seems to have same problems as myself including cutting 4 teeth two upper and bottom say no more for those who have had kiddies.
Me trying to console not feeling 100% while Stef goes to pick up Ethan then to town so he wont feel left out in the parade of Easter hats at the school, Stef goes to town to try find little chicks to decorate, there is good news as I did have two sunhats we could improvise upon.
What does sadden me if those kids, whose parents who have no support to do these things , hopefully and maybe I should input to school that the helpers are able to make some things so other kids dont feel left out. What do you think or is there something the school your kids attend that do this?!
Enough waffle just wanting to put up my thoughts copy paste in sites as best I am able.
Got loads I need to do but one thing at a time.
Blessings
Elaine.

Hi Everyone,
Another dry bright day here in Wales although we have no sun maybe later will peep through.
Last night I attempted to send an News update but I think I spent so long I must have timed out as when I hit send it disappeared, I must say this is the first time it has happened to me. Ah well in comparrison to other sites I visit seems they have their hiccups also.
I will probably not be doing lots on the net unless I am feeling better as have a heavy head cold, bad chest and ear infection so not feeling up to doing much.
I pray God will send you showers of blessings
Love as always

Hi Everyone,
A dry but overcast day here in Wales.
All peaceful for a while at my house.
The family have gone with the school for a day at the Zoo.
So far I have had my prayer time without interruption and reading through some of my mail,
I still have a backlog to go through so hopefully will get that done also but thought I had better post up my good morning to all as often I look at the clock and it can be nearer mid-day before I take it to task.
My plan for later today is to go to town for some groceries and pop into the bank.
Paul bought me a new garden fork yesterday, how I wish I could get stuck into digging but at least I can be supervisor and ask which to dig out and transplant.
About 10 years ago we planted A bamboo I love the leaves how they are evergreen and nod in the breeze but unfortunately it is begining to spread way too much so we have cut down some to use in the garden, Brendan made a rustic fence as a barrier to stop the dogs trampling one part.
I have decided to transplant into a large Pot which once housed a blackberry bush.
Hopefully it will stay compact.
Gardening is like housework you can always find something that needs doing.
It gives me much pleasure when able to sit and read and take in what goes on around me,
can be so uplifting.
Content to see the fruits of labour and not stress over what have not succeeded be it the rabbit have ate it lol.
Whatever your day I pray you will be blessed.

Hi Everyone,
I got back from the vets about an hour ago and spent a long time chatting on messenger with our dear Bertie catching up with what is happening his end a little but mostly talking of me and mine.
Early this morning everything was going quite smoothly until it was time to put Milo's collar on which we couldn't find, Shocked so had to make-do with one of my belts and paint his name with white nailvarnish, 8) rang my neighbour Mary our Ephesiangal, Rolling Eyes can you lend me a lead please. Now don't get me wrong usually we have everything in its place, things have been somewhat chaotic right now due to having the grandchildren with me, hence Ethan age 3 like to tie toys together and pull along, Max 16 months everything which don't look like a toy gets picked up and placed in a new home, the dogs go for a run up the mountain so no need for restraint and their collar and leads were usually left in a little corner unit.
I am to pick Milo up in a few hours time, thankfully the lampshade looking thing he has to have around his neck to stop him getting at his stitches, was where it is usually kept, the correct name evades me right now.
A cup of tea at side of me and on with postings.
Have a good day everyone
Blessings

A beautiful sunny day here in Wales.
No butterflies around as yet but summer on the way.
I have managed to get a lot more done today, having my early prayer time and read my bible in the garden.
Ethan and I took a little walk around checking on which seeds are coming through which we had planted, it's great that he takes such an interest and enjoy.
Yesterday seemed nothing fell into place, the rabbit had been left out in the garden for some exercise only for us to find he had eaten some of our broccoli plants, between keeping the dogs and rabbie albino apart the kiddies occupied and out of mischief this alone is a full time job but I wouldn't want it any different I love you love them all.
I had better get a move on and do some more posting. Very Happy
Enjoy your day everyone.
Blessings

A thief comes only to rob, kill, and destroy. I came so that everyone would have life, and have it in its fullest. John 10:10(CEV)
Hi Friends
I hope your having a good day, weather has changed here in Wales wet and windy. (although since I began this the sun has broken through)
I have spent my morning reading and praying.
Often we can be so busy leaving ourselves little time to be filled with the presence of God in our lives who sustain us.
Jesus lived and died so that we can experience abundant life! How often we pass over those words without stopping to grasp the amazing truth they hold. Jesus did not come so that we can merely survive life.
Due to changes in my life pattern I had noticed how I have been busying myself, getting posts out being with the family and grandkids my prayer time has been rushed and I was feeling the changes effecting my spiritual life,... an abundant life is a life filled with joy.
I have experienced the joy of having my little grandchildren here with me but I must confess was getting spiritually dry. God is so good full of grace and mercy as I took time out for myself, his guidance was bringing to my attention verses of scriptures to help me get back on track. I watched some of God channel on the TV then came on the net to read.
Peter said I am going back fishing (John 21) what captured my attention was from this passage he went back.
I needed to get back, yes it is good to be in company of others and busy in labour of love, but is God who carry us.
I did begin this post am but our Zee and I had a little chat on messenger then I had a phone call from my eldest daughter who is looking after Bill so rather than change my icon of good morning sending this up also we now have little Max home so a battle for my pc lol!
Hope your having a good day
have prayed for you.
Blessings

Hi Everyone,
A very windy day here in Wales, have done a little tidy around of the toys and cleared away breakfast dishes so place looks a bit less like a bom has hit.
I was awake before the birds this morning the grandchildren don't seem to have any sense of time lol! The were awake in their room then was found in the bathroom by Daddy, No toilets are out of bounds for play, then about 5.30am Ethan was told jump into bed with Nana affraid actually he is the quieter of the two so that was fine, he chatted away making up stories, no chance of an early prayertime for me, I wonder scratch how do others manage as I like to start my day that way so guess this is another change for me learning to fit in once again to a different routine.
queen Stef has gone off to take Ethan to school and Max with her to the shops so giving me some space to do my thing.
Hence have had a chance to get on the PC and collect my thoughts Very Happy get some postings done here and elsewhere.
I will leave this page up of our site to listen to the music in the background of our "New Feature" as I post elsewhere and read some mail.
So blessed to read others posts.
Thinking of our dear friends who have not been for reasons unable to get here.
I pray you all God will undertake in all your needs.
Hope you all have a good day.
Blessings
