Knowing the birth date of Jesus

Luke 2:36-38

36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the
tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven
years from her virginity;

37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed
not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.

38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and
spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

There are times when the Lord gives you a message to preach or share on
which you would prefer to avoid, knowing people do not like to hear, leave
alone discuss. It is the same case as when God sent Jeremiah to tell the
people not to worship the Queen of Heaven.

Did God not know they would not listen? Yes God did know but then He still
sent Jeremiah to speak to them so that He could convict the people for not
just what is in their hearts but also for the words that came out of their
mouths.

Just yesterday I stamped the toes (figuratively) of some people on this
topic and today the Lord has asked me send a message on this matter. I am
so sick and tired of trying to enlighten people on this topic and would
prefer ignoring it and allowing them to do what they want. But today as the
Lord wants me to touch on this topic I feel the same as Jeremiah did, and
as him, because of the fire in my bones I would not hold back.

People have this very famous saying ‘Jesus is the reason of the season’ and
with this they celebrate this festival called ‘Christmass’. When you ask
them why they are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ on the 25th Dec
even after knowing this is not the date? They will say since the date is
not known any day is a good day for celebrating. If you tell them why then
on a birth date of a pagan god, which got converted to the birth date of
Jesus Christ by the Catholic Church so as to deny the pagan Romans from
celebrating the pagan feast? They will tell you ‘every day is dedicated to
some or other pagan god so why not 25th Dec’. They fail to see the trap of
the Catholic Church which Jesus warned of in Matthew 24:24. ‘Great signs’
does not need to be a miracle but the fact that many are deceived by a
little lie is a great sign, the same like Mohammed did with a lie of a cave
and started Islam with over a billion followers.

Let’s take the case of Resurrection Sunday, the Catholic Church to deny us
from celebrating the Resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ started making
Christians to celebrate ‘Easter’ which is another pagan feast (birth date
of goddess Ashtoreth - a fact which the Catholic Church openly accepts)
which also falls on the same day. On that day these ‘Christians’ say what
is in a name, what we celebrate is important so they wish each other ‘Happy
Easter’ and on 25th Dec they say what is in a date the name is important so
they wish each other Merry ChristMass not realizing they are adding that
name of Christ to a pagan ritual called Mass which mocks the Holy things of
God.

It is so true what Isaiah said and which Jesus repeated in Matthew 13:13-15
- they will look and not see, hear and not understand. I will add speak and
not know what they are saying.

Now coming to the fact of the so called unknown birth date of Jesus Christ,
we live in a time after the birth of Jesus Christ so there is not easy
scriptural poofs (date can be traced by tracing the birth of John the
Baptist - unlike from the OT which is more complex) but there historical
proofs as well as scientific proof (astrological - Star of Bethlehem since
we can know the position of the heavenly objects in the sky any period of
time in past, present or future, that too the view from any part of the
earth). We see we have not just Prophetess Anna but also another Man of God
who was not a Prophet but a simple Man of God, who not only knew the exact
time of birth but also the place they would expect to have an encounter
with their Savior. These two including the Wise Men believed scriptures and
followed on the right understanding of the scriptures, this allowed them to
know the time of birth.

Today we have so called ‘Bible People’ who say they are Bible rooted but
are blinded by traditions and joy of the things the world has to offer in
the name of another Christ and another Jesus. They say 'Jesus is the reason
of the season' but thier season has nothing to do with Jesus Christ, look
around people are so busy with celebrations that they have no time for the
things of the Kingdom of God. The things that they do in the name of the
season are so socking, just a few days back one of my most favorite worship
group disappointed me when I saw a video of them singing a ‘Christmas Carol’
named ‘Silent Night’ in Broadway style with all the Broadway glamor.

Today God is tell us there are many among us who call ourselves Men and
Women of God, if we truly are one then how is it that these two knew the
time of the Savior’s birth and we do not know the birthday of our Savior?

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, your Word says the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. Lord your
people in spirit desire You but due to the weakness of their flesh they are
deep in deceit and thus do the things of this world. Lord we pray You
strengthen them so strong in the spirit that they break the bondage of the
flesh and overcome the desires of the flesh. Lord, You have asked us to be
holy for You are Holy...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Luke 2:25-28

25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and
the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel:
and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should not see
death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought
in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,

28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and
shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible,
they shall deceive the very elect.

Matthew 13:

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and
hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By
hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see,
and shall not perceive:

15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of
hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see
with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their
heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have
desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to
hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

18 Hear ye therefore the parable of the sower.

Perish not for material things

Mark 13: 15,16 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the
house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house: And let
him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.

The Gospel of Mark is not a book of prophecy (for the salvation of
mankind); all that Jesus spoke was teachings or understanding from the Old
Testament. Here Jesus was talking of a dual prophecy, one was concerning
Judah which happened in 70AD when the Romans attacked Judah and killed
every Jew they could lay their hands on. Historians state they crucified
even the women and children. There were so many crucified that they ran out
of wood even after using door posts. They broke down everything not leaving
a wall upright. A small portion of the temple wall is all that remained and
till date the Jews mourn at this wall. This event was more a genocide and
the Romans did this because they were mocked at by the Jews some years
earlier. Secondly this prophecy is also concerning the end days about the
time Satan (the Dragon) is released. When I studied about those times I too
prayed to the Lord that none of my generation survive to see those days.

Today’s message is not because those end days are at hand. But as in 70AD
Jews were advised if they were on roof tops not to go down into their house
but jump from roof to roof and escape (that is what some of the Jews who
remembered the words and saw the signs did in 70AD escaping to the hills).
Those in the field were also told not to go back to their houses to fetch
anything from their house not even a pair of clothes but escape with what
they have on them. They did not see a charging army but just heard the
Romans were stationed away and were coming to destroy them. If they wanted
to save their lives they had to do this and this they had to do when they
saw the sign which Jesus spoke of. In the end days the sign is blood moon
which apparently as nothing to do with the actual moon but with what it
symbolizes. God had told them to do this for life is more precious than
material things or the joy of material things of this world.

Yesterday we received a message about Christians celebrating a ‘feast in
the name of Christ’. We see people give excuses of ‘Jesus is the reason of
the season’ but nothing is hidden from God and God can see the real reason.
God is telling us is our lives not so cheap that for the pleasure of the
flesh we indulge into abominations.

We are not called to do street protests or carry placards telling people to
stop celebrating this pagan festival. We can use this time as an
opportunity to reach out to people to give the Gospel of Christ and save
them but we are not called to celebrate this festival ourselves.

Yesterday a group from a Believer Church requested me for permission to
come to my place to sing carols to which I did not encourage. But another
brother used the opportunity of carol singing in his office and gave the
Gospel to all his colleagues in his office (almost 300 plus) and mostly
un-believers. This I did encourage and rejoiced with him.

Paul tells us as Christians to be watchful and sober and not to let our
flesh destroy our spirit. When we die the flesh will perish but by living
for the joy of the flesh will also cause our spirits to perish.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray your people realize that they cannot fool You and You Lord can
see all things even the intentions of their hearts. Lord we pray that they
do not sacrifice eternal lives for the sake of joy of the flesh for an
hour. We pray they learn to discern all things and live a sober live giving
more value to things of the spirit and not of the flesh...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Mark 13:14-20

14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth
understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither
enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his
garment.

17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in
those days!

18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the
beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall
be.

20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be
saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the
days.

Daniel 8:9-12

9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding
great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some
of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him
the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast
down.

12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of
transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised,
and prospered.

Daniel 9:25-27

25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the
commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince
shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be
built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not
for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the
city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto
the end of the war desolations are determined.

27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the
midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease,
and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even
until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the
desolate.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-9

2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a
thief in the night.

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape.

4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you
as a thief.

5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are
not of the night, nor of darkness.

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are
drunken in the night.

8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of
faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our
Lord Jesus Christ,

The winepress is full

Joel 3:13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you
down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is
great.

The Hebrew word for ripe is bikkuwr or bakkurah but here the word
translated as ripe is bashal which is mostly translated as seethe (10),
boil (6), sod (6) and bake (2). Only twice it is translated as 'ripe'
once here and the other in the dream of the chief butler which Joseph
interpreted. The word actually refers to time or season like being
ready, not to the goodness of the objection. This scripture does not
talk of harvest or of saving souls but talks of judgment over those who
do not know God and whose evil has increased very much.

We see in past whenever evil increased over a certain threshold God
intervened and took things in His hands. He did this to protect the
interest of His sheep. Bible says He is so possessive of His sheep that
He can sacrifice nations for His sheep.

One may think God is cruel and not merciful when He causes disasters to
fall on people. But when we see things from a birds eye perspective we
ourselves will say God how do you tolerate these people and You alone
can bear them. People may look very good to us but their evil is not
hidden from God.

We see every year during December and January the numbers of death
increase and one reporter stated by 13percent after tracking the period
1985 to 1996. In Britain during these months it was found in the period
between 2000 - 2010 death rates increased from 149 daily to 166 daily
with 25th Dec and 1st Jan peaking.

Yesterday I went to a non-Christian school for permission to distribute
material (story books and New Testaments) about Jesus to the students
since they are celebrating His birth. The person at the office told me
being a minority school (of another belief) they do not promote any
religious material to their students. As I was coming out of their
office I saw posters on the notice board with big pictures of 'Santa
Clause'. They welcome 'Santa Claus' during Christmas but not the Jesus
of whose birth they seem to celebrate. In another 'Christian' school the
principal a so called 'loving and gentle' Nun on hearing the word
'Bible' like of chased us away.

People are not aware the word Santa Claus means Holy Man and what they
have done is made a mockery of a Man of God by dressing him up in a
costume and making him distribute toys and sweets. If ones goes through
all the Christmas symbolic things connected to this celebration one
would see how they are mocking the spiritual things of God. People
celebrate 'Christmass' thinking they are pleasing God by taking the name
of Christ and celebrating a pagan festival, but this period makes God
most angry than any other period.

Today's message talks of disaster or deaths on hand in the coming day.
We see God does not get angry so much with those who do not know Him but
gets angry more with those who know Him yet act like those who are
ignorant - the Believing Heathens.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray sense prevails among your people that they be more in the
spirit and less in the flesh. We pray they stop making excuses and mock
the holy things of your Kingdom just to enjoy things of the flesh. We
pray for wisdom for your people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Joel 3:11-15

11Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves
together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.

12Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat:
for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

13Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for
the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

14Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the
LORD is near in the valley of decision.

15The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw
their shining.

Genesis 40:8-11

8And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no
interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations
belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

9And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my
dream, behold, a vine was before me;

10And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded,
and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe
grapes:

11And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed
them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 29 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Post  Admin Tue 15 Dec 2015, 6:49 pm

Who are His sheep?

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for
the sheep.

We see Jesus Christ calls Himself the Good Shepherd. The Greek word for
shepherd as a metaphor means someone who directs, controls, cares,
assembles. He specifies He is not a hired man who does not take full
responsibility of His sheep but He is the owner of His sheep, in other
words the sheep are His.

Let us today look at His sheep and why does He use the word sheep for
His people. The Greek word 'probaton' translated as 'sheep' specifies a
four legged, tamed animal accustomed to graze, small cattle. What is
interesting the word is derived from the word 'probaino' which means 'to
go forward'.

If we shortlist the criteria of the sheep

1 Four legged / using all four limbs (hands and legs)

2 Tamed

3 Grazing

4 Small

5 Moving forward

Four legged:-

In the Bible hands symbolize works and legs the way of life. We
Christians are called to works, not the works of righteousness but are
called to do the works of faith. Whatever we do to justify our goodness
(righteousness) is worthless before God and will not save us. We do the
works of faith, because we believe in His Word we put what we believe
into action. If we say we believe and we do not do what we believe then
can we really say 'we believe or have faith'?

We are saved by grace and grace is receive via faith, so if not faith no
grace, and no works of faith then no faith and thus no grace. So as a
Christian we need to be working Christians doing the mission of Christ.

We also are called to live our lives like Christ since we claim Christ
(His Spirit) in us. It is His Spirit that allows us to call God our
Father. So as a Christian we are called to live a Christian life. Thus
we as Christians are a four legged sheep meaning we use both our hands
and legs in our Christian walk.

Tamed:-

Submission to God is very necessary to be a Christian. Being baptized
means rejecting sin and submitting to Jesus Christ and His Spirit. Bible
says the plans of God are light (good) and anyone who obstructs light
caused darkness and darkness is death. So as Christian we are called to
be tamed, tamed towards God - that is the Good Shepherd.

Grazing:-

Jesus said when we believe Him He gives us the Living Water (Life giving
Water - symbolizing understanding) and when we drink that water, springs
of Living Water will flow from our bellies (from within us after we
digest the understanding). In other words a true Christian would be a
source of true knowledge and wisdom because he or she feeds regularly on
the Living Word.

Small:-

The word small as a metaphor symbolizes being innocent and timid. We as
Christians are called to be innocent to evil. We are also called to
understand there are many things we need to grow in and thus do not know
all and have all.

Moving forward:-

We as Christians are people on a journey to the Promised Land which is
Heaven. This world is just a place we are passing by. We do not a have a
permanent residence here thus symbolically described as people living in
tents.

I have listed the criteria of being His Sheep but if we look at the
negative side as who does not become His sheep.

Any Christian who does not live (at least make an attempt to live) his
or her life as Christ and does not do the works of faith.

Any Christian who does not feed himself or herself regularly on the Word
of God.

Any Christian who does not submit his or her life fully to God.

Any Christian who does not distance oneself from evil and does not know
one's spiritual status.

Any Christian who does not move ahead spiritually.

Let us look at the above and see are we doing these and where we fail to
truly be His Sheep.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray we understand the criteria required to be your sheep. Lord
we pray we meet these criteria in our lives so as to be true Christians.
Help us to re-evaluate our spiritual lives and show the glory of God in
us like people saw Jesus Christ as man...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

John 10:11-18

11I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep
are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and
the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the
sheep.

14I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my
life for the sheep.

16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must
bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and
one shepherd.

17Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I
might take it again.

18No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to
lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I
received of my Father.

Share the Shewbread

Mark 2:25, 26 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did,
when he had need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high
priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for
the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

Study of the design of the Tabernacle is an awesome study to understand
God, mankind and His mission for mankind. People think God put Himself
in the Holy of Holies, may be in for a surprise when they study what the
Ark of Covenant actually symbolizes. To study the Cross of the Lord
Jesus Christ one needs to study the Ark of Covenant.

Now both the Son and the Spirit placed themselves in the Holy Place. The
Holy Spirit was symbolized as the candlestick with seven candles. The
Son was symbolized as the Shewbread. One can understand what it means
when Jesus said 'I am the Bread of Life and whoever eats me will have
life', by studying the Shewbread.

The Shewbread consisted of twelve loaves made of the finest flour. They
were flat and thin, and were placed in two rows of six each on a table
in the holy place before the Ark of Covenant. They were renewed every
Sabbath and those that were removed to give place to the new ones were
to be eaten by the priests only in the holy place. The number of the
loaves represented the twelve tribes of Israel. Like Paschal Lamb was a
shadow of the Lamb of God - Jesus Christ, in the same way the Israel of
the Old Testament is a shadow of the real Israel - Sons of God (this is
not substitute theory as people state it to be). No one can become
Israel without Christ for in Him and through Him alone is the True
Israel - way to become Sons of God.

It is by the understanding of the Shewbread, David had the courage to
eat it and share it with those with him. He did this although knowing
that it was strictly for the Priest. Peter by understanding what David
did and understanding the Lord Jesus Christ said to those in Christ 'you
are a Royal Priesthood'.

Jesus quoted on this event while explaining about the Sabbath. You may
wonder why? Jesus wanted to tell them what they think or understand in
the natural is not what reality is .e. when God said 'Priest' it was not
that from the flesh and blood of Levi but the one who is separated unto God.

Let us who are called to be Kings and Priest unto God eat of the
Shewbread and share this Shewbread with those amongst us. It is Holy
Bread what came from Heaven to give us life, and life eternal.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray your people know You more by the study of the Tabernacle
and study of the things within it. Lord we pray they understand your
mission of salvation of mankind and the importance of your mission by
the fact You put your mission above You. We pray Lord they receive of
the true Shewbread and have the power to become True Israel - Sons of God...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

8Every sabbath he shall set it in order before the LORD continually,
being taken from the children of Israel by an everlasting covenant.

32And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of
the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the

34And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds,
with their knops and their flowers.

35And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop
under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the
same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick.

36Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be
one beaten work of pure gold.

37And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the

38And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold.

39Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels.

40And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed

who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 29 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Post  Admin Fri 11 Dec 2015, 10:41 pm

He became poor so that we could become rich

John 12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son
of man should be glorified.

There is this one scripture 2 Corinthians 8:9 which is most loved by many
preachers. They love it for the people love it. One famous preacher a few
days back stated ‘we all need money and the more money we have the better
work we can do for the Kingdom of God, money is essential in this world and
without money we cannot be successful’. One of the ‘miracles’ he performed
was he asked people to count the cash in their wallets and check their bank
balance online. Then he prayed and asked them to recheck, and some of them
found an increase in amount in their wallets and some found an increase in
their bank balance. He said this increase of a few thousands was a sign
that God will bless them financially the days to come.

When we look at the Bible we see another picture. Jesus said it will be
almost impossible for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God. Jesus said a
servant cannot serve 2 masters, serve God and serve mammon. The word mammon
in Greek means treasure which means wealth or any precious thing / object.

When Jesus gave His disciples their final test He sent them in pairs
without extra pair of clothes or extra pair of sandals, with no food or
money. He sent them with the basics which they had on their body and with
just a staff in their hands. And when they trusted God for their needs they
saw the wonders of God work through them.

When Jesus had to feed thousands He had an option to use the money which
was in the money bag by which He would feed them whatever little it
fetched. He chose not to use the money but by the power of God He got the
little food He had in hand to be multiplied and fed them all till they were
satisfied. Jesus always showed that although money was not evil, the love
for money was evil and that love would even hinder a person from going to
Heaven.

You may wonder why I spoke of 2 Corinthians 8:9 with regards to today’s
message. To understand it we should see if Jesus was indeed poor?

Bible shows Jesus did not wear old, tattered clothes but wore decent good
clothes. He did not wear them for style or status but wore them for
spiritual symbolic reasons. We know these clothes were good because the
soldiers at His crucifixion did not want to tear His vesture instead cast
lots to see who gets it. Also when Jesus was born the wise men gave Him
gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. Firstly it is not written anywhere
that there were 3 men, 3 is assumed because of the types of gifts. Surely
there were more for their caravan got the attention of the governor of that
region. Also they did not gift a gold ring or a small piece of gold; since
it says ‘gold’ surely there were lots of gold jewelry and the same with
frankincense and myrrh. History shows these gifts were symbolic and were
given to only great Kings like Emperors. So these gifts were not in small
quantities. With these gifts the whole family was well provided for years
to come. So the family was never in need or poor.

Understand poverty is a curse and riches a test. A person is poor because
he or she does not know God or believe in Him and a person becomes rich
because he or she puts God in second place. Definition of poverty or riches
various from country to country, city to city and area to area, Bible
defines poor as one who has needs which are not met and rich as one who has
extra which is not necessary. A person like Abraham who is said to be rich
in the Bible, according to historical data was upper middle class citizen
at that time. There are historical records of the size of his army compared
to the size of armies of other rich people that existed at his time. His
medium sized army was more famous for their valor and skill.

2 Corinthians 8:9 poverty does not talk of lack of worldly riches. God
created this world, He also created the gold, diamonds and precious gems
from just His breathe so how could He be poor? Bible says He made Himself
lower than the Angels (man) so that we would be lifted up. Jesus says when
man resurrects he will be like the Angels. Angels are called Sons of God
and Bible also says He came so that we who believe may have the power to
become Sons of God.

Let our eyes not be focused on the wrong riches. At the end this world will
perish and nothing will remain. When we die nothing we have will we take,
not even a penny or paisa. Even our clothes and the flesh (natural beauty)
we will leave behind to perish to mud. The only riches we take are not the
worldly riches but our spiritual riches.

God spoke to us yesterday about the carnal mind and spiritual mind. Today
He is telling about our carnal riches and our spiritual riches. Our earthly
/ carnal riches will burden us and pull us down and on the other hand our
spiritual riches will lift us and take us to higher places in Heaven.

Jesus became poor in spirit that we may become rich in spirit. Let us look
at ourselves and see if the mission of Jesus has been successful in our
lives. Let us take an asset inventory, an audit of our spiritual riches.

In today’s message God confirms at the end man will be rich, now we need to
know if we would be among them and where among them will we be.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord we know the world teachings, understanding and values are against the
teachings, understanding and values of the Kingdom of God. We pray lord we
trust You for our needs of this world but do not put our hearts to desires
of this world. Help us to be focused on your Kingdom and always remember we
are just passing by...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that,
though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his
poverty might be rich.

Luke 16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the
one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the
other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Revelation 3:17-19

17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need
of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and
poor, and blind, and naked:

18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be
rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of
thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou
mayest see.

19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and
repent.

Mark 6:7-9

7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two
and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits;

8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save
a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse:

9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young
child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when
they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and
frankincense, and myrrh.

Matthew 27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting
lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They
parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

Son of Man, Son of God, Christ and God - The Son

Luke 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of
sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

Ask people about God and of who He is and they will be dumbstruck. They
may tell you He is Spirit but would not know what Spirit means or is.
They may tell you about His attributes like He is Holy, He is love, He
is merciful, omnipotent, omnipresent etc. but yet they will not be able
to answer properly about Him. At the end they will say He is a mystery.
And from where do you hear these words about mysteries being taboo; from
the Catholic Church.

Sadly most of the understanding of God comes from Catholic doctrines.
That is why they have understanding called 'Trinity' (which relies on
individualism thinking) while the Bible talks of Godhead (which is
concentric - one within another). Jesus told people that time, and is
tells us even today 'you do not know the Father because you do not know
Me, if you had known Me you would have known the Father'.

It is true most people who follow Christ and called themselves
Christians are little aware of who the Lord Jesus Christ really is and
since they do not know Him they do not know who God is.

Catholics think Jesus was both God and man in the flesh and this
understanding is carried even by many Believer theologians. They lack
basic understanding of divinity and mortality. They gauge all things
even in Heaven according to human or earthly understanding. The word
'spirit' means life and how many theologians speak of various kinds of
life. Because man has one life thus they think all beings have one life
in varying strengths. Because God has eternal life and God promised us
eternal life in Heaven, theologians have made man to have eternal life
or have spirits that have eternal life here on earth even before we go
to Heaven!

Catholic logic goes as this - Jesus is God and God is Holy so for Mary
to give birth to Holy Jesus she too needs to be Holy, so the term 'Holy
Mary'. You will find Christian apologist will argue with them stating
Jesus was born as man in the womb of His mother, so Mary was mother of a
man and not of God. But then these same apologist state Jesus was both
man and God in the flesh, at the same time; so how are they proving the
Catholics wrong?

In the Kingdom of God there are beings with simplex life (one life i.e.
Angels and man), complex life (many lives in one being i.e. Cherubs) and
endless life (God - Father, Son and Spirit). When we use the term Divine
one or Elohai /Eloahh (Elohim /Eelohiym - plural) in the Bible, it
speaks of the one who has endless life.

Ever thought leaving for the Cyclops (that lives in water) all the
millions and trillions of creatures God created have two eyes or no eyes
(all of these live underground or in water, none on land). So all land
animals have 2 eyes. Could not God design a land being with one or many
eye? He could but yet He did not. Some of the creatures He made are with
complex eyes, having many eyes in an eye yet two.

You may wonder why I am talking of eyes. See scriptures Cherubs have
multiple eyes within themselves and hands and legs and wings. They are
spirit being do they have physical hands, legs, wings and eyes?

Bible uses the term God (The Son), Son of God, Christ and Son of Man for
Jesus Christ. Do we know what each term means? In today's scripture we
see Jesus state Son of Man is the one who was delivered unto His death
and not God (The Son). Paul says 'He was our sacrifice', thus He had to
be one from us, like us. Paul also says anyone who does not state the
Lord came in the flesh (become mortal) then that person has the spirit
of the anti-Christ, means goes against the purpose of Christ.

Let us pursue to know the one we believe in and follow. The reason we do
not know the one we follow that is why many are deceived, misled or fall
off the path.

Mostly we find man is being teaching man about God and not God teaching
man about Himself. That is why we have great learned people like Bart
Erhman who once upon a time was considered a New Testament scholar and
today is the most famous atheist, he is the most used person by the
Muslim Dawahs to attack Christian theology.

If we have to grow in our understanding of God we cannot expect this to
happen with man teaching man. It is high time we start thirsting for
revelation knowledge of God and at the same time we confirm this with
the Word of God. Let us not depend less on books written by people who
were / are far from God or spiritually little like it is currently
happening in most Bible colleges.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, since ages man has been teaching man and there are a fist-full who
are learning from You. And these fist-full are shouted down by the
majority who are far from You. Lord we pray your people have a spirit to
hear and confirm doctrines with scriptures like the people of Berea who
did not require Paul to write to them or guide them via letters after
they were preached once in person. Lord your people see in the natural
with two eyes, but in spirit use only one eye their natural
understanding. We pray your people see with both eyes in spirit and
understand all things visible and invisible as You have designed them to
be...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

John 8:19Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered,
Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have
known my Father also.

John 1:51And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and
descending upon the Son of man.

Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him;
and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night,
saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is
to come.

John 5:22-29

22For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto
the Son:

23That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He
that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

24Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth
on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

25Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when
the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear
shall live.

26For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to
have life in himself;

27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is
the Son of man.

28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are
in the graves shall hear his voice,

29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection
of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 14:10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in
me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the
Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.

Acts 17:10-12

10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto
Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.

11These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they
received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the
scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

12Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were
Greeks, and of men, not a few.

Backsliding of Men of God

Jeremiah 34:15,16 And ye were now turned, and had done right in my
sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had
made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name: But
ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and
every man his handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to
return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants
and for handmaids.

Jesus said He did not come for the righteous but came for the sinners,
He said the healthy do not need a physician but the sick do.

Paul said can anyone say he is not a sinner, if he says he is not a
sinner and no sin is in him then he is a liar.

Such scriptures give many Christians the liberty to sin and continue in
sin. They ignore scriptures in which it is written Christ came to free
us from the bondages of sin and dead and where Paul says, how can we who
have light in us live in darkness?

It is true no Christian is free of sin but that does not mean we are
called to continue in sin. Every Christian is called to fight a battle
not with sin but with the sin nature. None of us can fight sin but
because we have Christ in us and the nature of Christ dwells in us we
are expected to overcome our sin nature and thus destroy sin from its roots.

Knowing the reality that no Christian is without sin now can Men or
Women of God be free of sin? No, they too struggle with sin like other
Christians. But when it comes to Men or Women of God they have more
responsibility. They hold up the Name of the Lord and if the Name of the
Lord is let down, then that upsets God more than anything.

We know God is very possessive of His Name and scripture say He lifts
His Name above. Lifting His Name does not mean God is proud. Firstly the
Name of God does not refer to what we call Him but means His Nature, His
Character, WHO HE IS that is why when Moses asked Him what His Name is
He said with anger I AM THAT/WHO I AM. The same was His reaction when
Jacob asked Him His Name. And the foolish Jews thought His Name is ‘I
AM’ and they went ahead to pronounce it in a particular way to indicate
it referred to God. Some theologians think when Jesus used the term to
Himself, He instead of using ‘I was’ used ‘I am’ therefore the Jews
thought it was blasphemy. The Jews would not stone for grammatical
mistake but were very sure when Jesus used that term I AM for Himself by
saying it the way they said it for God. Today also you will find
religious Jews do not state the word God and would write in English as
G-d. That also applies to the word Yahweh as a mark of reverence they do
not pronounced it in Israel like we do so all over the world.

God honors His Word because He honors His Name and would not let His
Name down. When Men and Women of God stand on the pulpit or in public
area they do not stand in their name but stand in the Name of the Lord
and if they do anything that would let the Name of the Lord down then
God will not spare them like He says in today’s scripture.

Like other Christians, Men and Women of God too have weaknesses but they
are expected to deal with them in private or amongst other spiritually
mature brethren and not before children of God or strangers. Today’s
warning is for those who let His Name down, God is telling them to
repent soon or less He would deal with them like He dealt with the sons
of Aaron or with Balaam.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You were, You are and You will always be the same for You are
perfect and You do not compromise. What changes about You is the
appearance of your glory which is manifested more and more. Lord we
pray, we who are your children may understand we hold your Name and
because we hold your Name we are called to live a life which is pleasing
to You and worthy of your Name. Lord we pray You strengthen your people
and specially those anointed by You for your Kingdom’s work. May they
not let your Name down and thus experience your wrath...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Exodus 3:13-14
13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of
Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me
unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say
unto them?
14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou
say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

John 8:58-59
58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham
was, I am.
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and
went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Revelation 1:4,8
4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and
peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from
the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord,
which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Confusing with regards to the birth of the Lord

Luke 2:1-5

1And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from
Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed [enlisted].

2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

3And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

4And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into
Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he
was of the house and lineage of David:)

5To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

Most English Bibles due to bad translation give the wrong picture that
Joseph and Mary went to their native place (since both were from the
house of David) so as to pay taxes. They consider that since Mary was
the wife of Joseph at that time thus she had to tag along Joseph to be
taxed in his native place.

Firstly the Greek word 'apographo' translated as taxed is wrongly
translated since it means 'to record' or 'enlist'. The Roman Caesar
Augustus (ruled between 29BC to 14AD after his uncle Juliet Caesar) had
given a degree that the whole land of Judea's census is taken with
people registering in their own native place. The month of August is
named after Caesar Augustus, before that this month was called Sextilis,
Augustus means honorable. One historian went on to state during the time
of Jesus there is no war or great battle recorded in whole history and
it was a time of peace so people engaged themselves in building and
reorganizing themselves well that is why Augustus called for a census to
be taken. The last known battle during that time was the battle of
Actium fought between Augustus (his real name was Octavian) and the
combine forces of Mark Anthony and Cleopatra (Jesus indirectly referred
to this historic event in one of His parables).

Secondly at this particular time Joseph and Mary were not married. The
Greek word translated as 'espoused wife' means fiancee. People do not
realize like in Christian marriages so also in Jewish marriage (in fact
we partly follow many things from Judaism) a marriage is not commenced
until the couple mate / have physical relationship. We see it is clearly
record in Matthew Joseph did not have physical relationship with Mary
until she delivered Jesus. So they were husband and wife only after
Jesus was born. The prophecy of virgin birth was a sign and need for the
birth of Jesus and not in any way a glorification of Mary.

I do not know why people are foolish to pursue Mary to be a virgin even
after birth of the Savior. Catholics think virginity symbolizes purity,
thinking as Mohammad did that is why he gave people dreams of sex with
virgins in heaven. Surprisingly Popes married between 300AD to 1500AD
and yet were called Holy Father. In fact the most unholy things one can
think of were done by many Popes during this time making this era to be
called 'dark ages of the Church'.

God made reproduction and man made sex. If reproduction is unholy them
marriage is an unholy union, the purpose of marriage is to have a family
and to have a family one needs to reproduce so reproduction is not
unholy. Paul who was not married yet called the physical union between a
husband and wife a holy union. It becomes unholy if it is outside
marriage and the intension is for pleasure and disrespect of the partner.

Bible says all flesh is corrupt, only Jesus as human was the only human
whose flesh was not corrupt and this He proved by transfiguring. If
people understand the design of man scientifically and biblically they
would know we have sickness and problems due to corruption in our
design. Bible shows since our flesh is corrupt we have to die a natural
death but when the Truth is complete in us (we overcome) those who are
alive will rapture which in other worlds means transfigure and enter the
spiritual world without dying. Jesus overcame singularly and we overcome
collectively. That is why Paul gives us assurance by saying one day some
of us will be taken up in the cloud (raptured), confirming that we will
overcome.

Sin is not in the human flesh and Jesus being born in the womb of Mary
who was a sinner (that is why she needed a savior) could not be infected
with her sins or curses. Curses do get transferred to the child but sins
do not get transferred, the sin nature does and that too both from
father to children and not mother to children even though the child is
physically born in the womb of the mother. The mother's sin nature and
curses get transferred only through the father when they become
one/mate. The spirit seed is in the father before it conceives in the
womb of the mother when the physical body comes alive. That is why we
see always man was blessed / cursed for his generations to receive them
and not the woman.

We need to understand Jesus was required to be born of a virgin so that
no corruption or sin nature is found in Him. After Jesus was born it was
senseless for Mary to be still remaining a virgin. Bible says she had
many children from her marriage with Joseph and if she did not then she
would have been considered cursed and not blessed.

The birth of Jesus is the most misinformed event; the evil one has
purposely done this so that Lord is not glorified. Let us enlist
ourselves unto Him and enlighten ourselves and other so that God is
glorified by the Truth being revealed.

[Prayer starter]

Lord we pray that the truth is revealed about You coming as man and how
You overcame so that man does not lose his opportunity to enter Heaven.
Lord we pray people are set free from the bondages of deceit...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Exodus 34:6-7

6And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD
God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and
truth,

7Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and
sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity
of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto
the third and to the fourth generation.

met him.

the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of
them that hate me,

Matthew 1:23-25

23Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and
they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

24Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had
bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

25And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he
called his name JESUS.

Who is against Christ?

Acts 4:28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined
before to be done.

I like what Barnes puts in his commentary on this verse I have
reproduced it below:-

"Ver. 28. For to do, etc. See Barnes "Ac 2:23"; See Barnes "Ac 3:18".
The facts which are brought to view in these verses are among the most
remarkable on record. They are briefly these:

1. That the Jewish rulers were opposed to the Messiah, and slew him.

2. That the very people to whom he came, and for whose benefit he
laboured, joined in the opposition, so that it became the act of a
united people.

3. That the Romans who were there, as a sort of representation of all
pagan nations, were easily prevailed on to join in the persecution, and
to become the executioners.

4. That thus opposite factions, and dissimilar and prejudiced people,
became united in opposing the Messiah.

5. That the rulers of the Roman people, the emperors, and statesmen, and
philosophers, and the rulers of other nations, united to oppose the
gospel, and brought all the power of persecution to stay its progress.

6. That the people of the empire, the mass of men, were easily prevailed
upon to join in the persecution, and endeavour to arrest its progress. And,

7. That the gospel has encountered similar difficulties and opposition
wherever it has been faithfully presented to the attention of men. It
has become a very serious question why this has been; or on what
pretence this opposition has been vindicated; or how it can be accounted
for. A question which it is of as much importance for the infidel as for
the Christian to settle. We know that accusations of the corrupt lives
of the early Christians were freely circulated, and the most gross
accounts given of their scandalous conduct were propagated by those who
chose to persecute them. (See Lardher's Credibility.) But such accounts
are not now believed; and it is not certain that they were ever
seriously believed by the rulers of the pagan people. It is certain that
it was not on this account that the first opposition arose to Christ and
his religion."

We see there were 2 types of people who opposed Christ. First were the
Jews who misrepresented God and then there were the Romans who hated
God. We also see even though both were not on the same line yet both
united in their intentions against Christ.

Bible says the Jews delivered Jesus to death due to envy. The Greek word
translated as envy here should not be misunderstood to be 'jealousy'.
The root of this word comes from 'corruption'. In other words due to
corruption (Paul uses this word for sin) the Jews delivered Jesus Christ
unto His death.

We also see the Romans who were pagans for they worshipped all kinds of
gods (representing those who hate God) have all their beliefs based on
the fact, to allow them to sin. They may say sin is evil but then you
will also find them having beliefs that justify they sin. Good and evil
is always grey and not black and white. The same is the fact with other
worldly religions. Thus these two due to sin oppose the Truth (Christ).

The world loves sin and they would not like to part ways for sin. If any
one comes between them and sin, even though they are diverse in beliefs
or anything yet they will unite against that power.

We see today many religious leaders that hate Christ talk of communal
harmony between religions. Everyone may think this is good but look at
it deeper. Does Christianity promote physical violence in any way? NO.
So who is promoting violence? It is them who are doing it. So when they
say peace it means they will not fight each other. It also means the
difference between their gods and their beliefs they will ignore or
compromise. Now can a Christian be part of this harmony? NO.

Firstly Christianity does not promote violence so it is already a belief
(religion) of peace. Secondly a Christian will never compromise the
Truth so there is no way a Christian can stand along with any other
religion in mater of beliefs even though a Christian promotes love
towards all mankind.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord You have said in your Word if we are your disciples the world will
hate us for they hated You first. They hate You because they love sin
and You hate sin. Lord we pray we will know we are Christian when we
hate sin and due to that the people in the world will oppose us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Mark 15:10For he knew that the chief priests had delivered him for envy.

John 15:18If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before you.

2 Corinthians 6:17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye
separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,

Divisions in the Church

Matthew 12:25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every
kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city
or house divided against itself shall not stand:

When a Believer speaks to a Catholic, the Catholic will refer to him or
her as 'protestant' reminding the person that the Believer Church was a
part of the Catholic Church before 1500AD and they protested against the
Catholic Church. They indirectly want to imply, 'you were a part of us
but now you are not'. You will also find them frequently telling you
that the Believer Churches has hundreds or thousands of denomination
while they are a united lot. They often remind us the term 'Catholic'
means 'Universal' therefore they are the mother Christian Church. Then
there is this other lot of open minded Christians who propose that
Catholics and Believers should come together ignoring the differences
since both are 'Christians'. Can Muslims or Jews and Believers come
together with one theological mind? If not then how can Catholics and
Believers come together? You may think we have the same belief but it is
when we have proper theological understanding and knowledge of Church
history then only will we Believers know where we stand.

Divisions in the Christian / Believer Church started during the early
Church itself, during the times of the Apostles that too even before
Paul accepted Christ. The book of Acts records the first division due to
cultural reasons. The Jewish Christians (Hebrew speaking) and the
Grecians Christians (Greek speaking) had started differentiating
themselves from each other primarily due to their languages and
secondarily due to traditions or way of living, dressing, food etc. If
you note Luke does not say either Jewish Christians or Greek Christian
but notes them by their language as their differences.

Can a Christian be a person of language, culture or traditions? To
understand this we need to first understand the root definitions of the
terms. Firstly the Greek word for division comes from the root words
which mean to cut through according to likeness in other words means
groupism. Now with the Apostles there, who were strong in faith and
theology thus, this groupism was not due to theological reasons but due
to language and culture.

Language is a means of communication. People in different regions have
different languages and knowing their language helps us to communicate
with them. Language is for the purpose to bring people together and not
separate them. Just because one speaks another language can we
differentiate them, so also is the same with culture. In simple terms
culture is the common things (in way of living) between the people
living in a region. An example is if the people of a region choose to
wear red color as part of their dressing for many years then wearing red
becomes a part of their culture. Culture can also be a bowl where
religious beliefs are unknowingly accepted and followed by people of
other beliefs in that region. For example if the reason of choosing to
wear red is rooted to honoring a pagan god of one religion then in the
name of culture the people of the other religion are honoring that deity
unknowingly. Wearing red is not wrong but Christians wearing it as a
culture is wrong. In India many pagan Hindu beliefs are part of
Christian way of life in the name of culture.

Christianity has no languages, no cultures, no groupism, not even
different countries for there is only one language of faith, one culture
of love, one group that is in Christa and one country that is the
Kingdom of God. But yet as a Christian we respect every language, every
culture (which is not religious in nature), every race and every country
(especially the one we live in).

Coming to Catholics, people are not aware they too have many
denominations or divisions between them. There are 24 denominations (23
+ the Roman Catholic Church) which acknowledge the Bishop of Rome (Pope)
as the head, and then there are many others Catholic denominations who
do not. They may not be part of the Roman Catholic group but yet are
Catholic for they follow the same theological belief and consider
themselves the mother Church differentiating mainly in who leads them.

The primarily theological difference between a Catholic is they believe
in another Jesus and another God. Their Jesus as a Savior is not
competent enough to save them therefore they need Mary to intervene.
They have replaced the Holy Spirit with Mary as the Comforter and
Intercessor.

Jesus is the Way and the Holy Spirit the one who leads us on the Way and
they have made Mary as the one who needs them on the Way not the Holy
Spirit. Jesus paid the price and became a sacrifice so that we receive
His Spirit and thus become Sons of God again. This spirit which comes as
Mary speaks contrary to the Word and tries to nullify the sacrifice of
Jesus. Can this spirit be from God or anyone associated to God. In
simple words Catholics are led by this ungodly spirit thus are not
Christians. Catholics stand along with Muslims or Jews who do not
believe in Jesus Christ or believe in another Jesus Christ.

Every Christian irrespective of the denomination who believes in God the
Father, His Word, His Son Jesus Christ as Lord, Savior and Way to God
and believes the Holy Spirit as the one who needs us on the Way, is a
Christian and should consider himself or herself as part of the one
family in Christ. We may have difference in theological understandings
but that difference should not hinder our oneness; but we should pursue
to remove that difference but healthy discussion and prayer. At last we
should remember it is the Spirit of God that reveals all things and He
alone through the Word is the one who leads us to our inheritance in Heaven.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray your people be one and You are one. Lord we pray they may
like the Son surrendered to the Father putting the Father above Him and
the Father lifting Him, so also they surrender to the one family in
Christa and the family work to lift each one. We pray the Spirit take
more and more hold of your people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Romans 8:26-27

26Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what
we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh
intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the
Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the
will of God.

Romans 8:34Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ [Jesus the man and
the Spirit on Him] that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is
even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession [word is on
the 3rd person] for us.

John 16:16A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little
while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the Father.

John 20:21-22

21Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath
sent me, even so send I you.

22And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them,
Receive ye the Holy Spirit:

Galatians 4:6And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of
his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Teaching and healing

Matthew 19:2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

We read many a times Jesus did not just heal some people but He healed
all the people who approached Him. In today's message we read a similar
kind of situation which says the multitude followed Him and He healed
them. This same event is recorded in Mark 10:1 and here Mark does not
talk about Jesus healing them but talks about Jesus teaching them.

Bible is the Word of God and the Word of God is Living Word which gives
life. If we are giving the Living Word then that Word should heal; heal
not only the body but also the soul and spirit, working from inside out.
In many places we find Jesus did not just heal them but when He saw
faith in them He said 'be whole' implying the person is restored.

In Churches we also see they teach the Word of God but yet we see people
do not change for years and they keep struggling in the same areas. If
we are teaching the Living Word then why is this Word not healing (not
just physically) or changing them? The question is are we giving them
Living Water or just knowledge?

We see Jesus said when we drink the water of this world we will thirst
again but the water He gives will cause a water spring inside that
person that will result into everlasting life. In another scripture we
see this water spring is related to the Holy Spirit for Jesus said it is
His Spirit what will open our minds and bring us to all understanding.

When we give knowledge of the Word but understanding of man, using the
wisdom of man then people may be please but this understanding will not
change people or renew them, it may help them for a period bit will not
cause eternal effect in them. When we give revelations that is knowledge
of the Word but understanding that comes from God using the wisdom of
God then it is not just 'understanding' but understanding that comes
from the Spirit and this understanding is what changes people. Jesus
said only when we believe in Him this will happen. The problem is we
choose not to believe Him fully, we pick and choose what we like and
leave what we do not.

Let us surrender to the Lord (Holy Spirit for He is the author of the
Word) fully, believing every word and not picking and choosing what we
like. It is only when we do that we will find streams of Living Waters
(understanding) flowing through us.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we want streams of Living Water to flow from our bellies. Lord we
pray You help us to totally surrender to You and your Word. Let not our
flesh hold us back. Help us to make ourselves and others whole through
your Word and your Spirit...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

14But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never
thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of
water springing up into everlasting life.

John 7:37-39

37In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried,
saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly
shall flow rivers of living water.

39(But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him
should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that
Jesus was not yet glorified.)

John 14:26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father

Forsaken by God

Isaiah 54:7,8 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great
mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee
for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee,
saith the LORD thy Redeemer.

There was a Muslim person debating with Christians and he told them if
your God could forsake His only Son then what is the guarantee that He
will not forsake you?

In today's message the Lord is talking of forsaking us in His anger. If
we see, both in Hebrew and in Greek the word 'forsake' does not mean to
reject. In both Hebrew and Greek this word actually means to leave. In
scriptures it does not mean a total separation but increase in distance.

Let us visualize a mother walking a child and in between the child
leaves the hand of the mother and get left behind. Soon the mother
reverts back and collects the child to hold more closely (our God is not
a forgetful God like a forgetful mother).

Anger effects love. In humans anger breaks the bonds of love but Godly
anger does not break the bonds of love, it only causes disconnect for a
short period, but afterwards causes a greater bond of love to be build.

In today's message we see God say 'for a small moment I forsook you' and
that is because of our disobedience towards Him, but then He says with
'greater mercies will I gather thee'. He does not say with mercies as
usual but says with greater mercies.

Jesus was aware of the suffering He was going to go through at the hands
of the Jews and more at the hands of the Romans for these are written in
the scriptures. He never feared the suffering but when the time came for
Him to be separated from the Father He feared that. His love and oneness
with the Father is not explainable and to break that even for a moment
was unthinkable for Him. That is why He was grieving and sweating like
blood drops. He even desired to reject this separation by telling the
Father top take away the cup. But then for the greater love that comes
after He accepted it.

Today the Lord is telling those who find themselves distant from God; do
not be sad for soon they will experience greater joy and love from Him.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord You showed us the true meaning of love and for the sake of love You
at times forsake us so that correction may be bought in and greater love
may be experienced. Lord we know if You have chosen us You will never
reject us. You are God and You know the beginning from the end. Lord we
pray during the times of distance we do not lose hope and thus elongate
the period of separation...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Mark 14:35-36

35And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that,
if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

36And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take
away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be
content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never
leave [to give up on] thee, forsake thee.

Isaiah 49:15-16

15Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have
compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not
forget thee.

16Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are
continually before me.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 29 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

Do not lower the Heavens

John 7:33,34Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you,
and then I go unto him that sent me. Ye shall seek me, and shall not
find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come.

Islam has made Paradise (Jannat) a pleasure garden where any person who
dies or kills an infidel in the name of Allah is served in Jannat by 72
virgins in a garden (like the one before the Taj Mahal which is made to
design) and given fresh wine to drink all day (Paradise having DAY and
NIGHT!).

You may feel sick and think what kind of pervert mind would associate
God to lust and intoxication, but Christians as not far behind in
lowering the Holy abode of God by their lack of understanding. We see
many people (including famous Preachers) who claim to have visited
Heaven and returned (Paul himself was not sure if it was visitation or
vision). Christians think when a Believer dies they immediately go to
Heaven. Ask them about Judgment Day and they say it is only for those
who are alive then. They fail to read what Paul writes in Romans 'WE
ALL' will stand before the Judgment Throne this is also confirmed again
in 1 Corinthians.

People also think in Heaven we will stand in a large crowd all the time
and sign and worship God. There was an Islamist preacher who said the
Christians would go to their boring Heaven to sing and worship all day
and they will have sex with virgins daily (sorry cannot put his actual
words).

Islam has made Heaven into a cheap sex garden and 'Chirstians' have made
Heaven into a large resort having walls around it, with many mansions
all made of gold, including the streets, with previous gem all over the
place like a luxurious retreat center.

To tell you personally I would not like to go to such a Jannat or such a
Heaven; how long can one enjoy such pleasures of the flesh or eyes?
Solomon was an art collector. He loved beauty so much that he married a
hundred beautiful women and these landed getting him to go against God.
But thank God the real Heaven is nothing like these and is beyond the
imagination of man. When man does not understand the basic element
'spirit' what will man understand the spirit world?

Today's message we read Jesus say where He is going we cannot come.
People do not know the reason why? If you ask them they say because we
are sinners. They do not know the meaning of sin and why sin cannot
exist in Heaven. People do not know the difference between sin and evil.
All sin is evil but is all evil sin? Bible says the Law bought sin into
existence, for without breaking the Law one cannot sin. So before the
Law Satan was there so evil was there. Bible says after man sinned God
said now man has come to know good and evil and has become like one of
us. Is God evil or can evil exist in God? What it means by we being made
incorruptible or the corruption in us being removed so as to enable us
to enter Heaven.

Let us not lower the Heavens or make Kingdom of God cheap like fairy
tales. Let us renew our minds and understand the Word of God and the
Kingdom of God in its Truth.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we ask for forgiveness that we have made Heaven a cheap place by
our carnal minds. Lord we pray You open the minds of your people, fill
them with knowledge and understanding by giving them wisdom that comes
from You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

1 Peter 1:18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with
corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation

Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of
Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Love or delusion

Philippians 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any
comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

A day back I was having discussion with a few brothers on the works of a
Catholic 'saint'. She is well known for her social work among the
destitute and sick who are forsaken by society. We were discussing if
she was projected Christ in her through her works?

When I was very young (was a Catholic then) I had the privilege twice to
personally meet her and felt very humble in her presence. She held me
and spoke to me about serving the unfortunate and being part of her
ministry. I was touched by her words and every year during my birthday I
would visit her center and make my contribution towards her ministry.

As I came into the Lord and grew in the Word, its understanding make me
raise questions as to what she was doing is it what God has called us to
do as Christian? There are two things which opened my eyes to the truth
one is the understanding of love and other of works.

Let us take an example of a mother who loves her child very much, so
much that she does not let her child down at all for she fears the child
will hurt himself. This happens years after years and this child grows
up but because of the 'love' of the mother the child is not going to
school or to play for he can neither stand nor walk. Would anyone call
this love? This so called 'love' is foolishness and this mother has
become the worst enemy of her child.

Bible says God is love not because the most important characteristic of
God is love. If you see in Heaven the Heavenly beings do not praise God
saying Love, Love, Love but praise Him by saying Holy, Holy, Holy. God
is called love because man did not know love until God came as man and
showed us true love. God showed us love is something that is selfless,
it build and prospers not according to the understanding of man but
according to the understanding of God. In some translations the Greek
word 'Agape' is rightly translated as 'charity' and not 'love', for what
man understands as 'love' is not what God means.

Coming to works, works is important but works without faith is useless
works, so also faith without works is useless faith. For a Christian
faith and works need to go hand in hand, with faith leading works and
not works leading faith. We were called first and chosen to good works
not called because of our good works.

All Christians are called to do good works but what kind of work is very
important to understand. When Jesus spoke about the Son of Man on
judgment day separating the sheep from the goats on basis of serving the
hungry, naked, thirsty and homeless He did not mean natural / social
service. Note if He would have really meant social service then He would
have used terms like sick, weak, orphan, widows etc. as used like in the
OT. Look at the lives of Jesus and His disciples who stand as examples
for us. They did reach out to the poor, weak, hungry, widows etc. but
they did not focus on it. They healed the sick but did not sit looking
after them in their sickness. The Apostles did not find it right to
dedicate their precious time for these natural services but they
concentrated on spiritual services. For natural services they chose the
spiritual young, those growing in the Lord.

In worldly terms we can compare natural service and spiritual services
to physical development and mental development of a child. Both are
necessary and have to go hand in hand; one without the other can cause
damage to the person. Also mental development is always given greater
importance than physical development since we humans are intellectual
beings. This is as per our worldly prospective.

As Christians we are spiritual being living in a physical body. On death
our physical body perishes and goes to dust but our spiritual being
continues to live. We are called to give service to the spiritual being
more compared to the physical being while not ignoring it.

We as Christians are people on mission to save souls for Christ. On
Judgment Day God will not ask us about our natural services but about
our spiritual services if we have served those who hunger for Him, those
who thirst for Him, those who are far from Him (homeless) and those who
do not know Him (naked).

As Christians we are led by the Word of God and the Spirit of God to
good works. As Christians we do not do good works but walk in them,
works which are already set for us even before we were born. In OT the
Spirit of God was not given to all mankind so they concentrated only on
works of the flesh but we are blessed with the Holy Spirit who leads us
to works of the Spirit.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord your Word is lamp to our feet and light to our path. Lord we pray
as Christians who can see things ahead may concentrate on things ahead
while not ignoring the immediate needs. Let us understand it is not our
works that will please You but our fulfilling the mission we are called
for which will please You. We are called to be like You Lord. To be
merciful and patient but above all be full of love. Love not according
to man's understanding but according to You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 25:31-46

Acts 6:2Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them,
and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and

Romans 9:11(For the children being not yet born, neither having done any
good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand,
not of works, but of him that calleth;)

Ephesians 2:8-10

8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it
is the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works,
which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

16All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for
doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good
works.

The fall of the False Bride

Ezekiel 27:34 In the time when thou shalt be broken by the seas in the
depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of
thee shall fall.

When I started understanding Callings the Bible became easier to
understand. In my earlier day people used to frighten me about reading
the book of Revelation. As a Catholic when I had not read the Bible
people used to tell me if I read the book of Revelation I would not
sleep, it is like a horror film. Even today Believers are advised to
read the book of Revelation at the last. People do not understand the
name of the book is 'Revelation' which means the Lord was revelation
something to the written given here as John things which was already
written or documented. This book is similar to Daniel, who was
meditating on the Word given through the other Prophets and the Lord was
making him them understand by dreams and visions.

In the OT Callings were not revealed clearly since Christ (the Head of
the Body) was not revealed fully so all were called Nabi which means Man
of God and mistakenly translated as Prophet. Daniel by Calling was not a
Prophet but was a Teacher. The same was with Joseph son of Jacob and
John who wrote the book of Revelation. People are told it was John the
Apostle who wrote Revelation but when I checked up half of the
theologians contest it. If one goes but book dates too it shows that the
John who wrote Revelation was not John the Apostle. Also by other facts
stated in scriptures it can be proved in multiple ways that this John (a
Teacher) who wrote Revelation was not John the Apostle and today's
message is also a proof of this.

We read in Revelation 17 and 18 about the fall of Babylon the Great
which is the False Bride. If you read this revelation came from this
chapter of Ezekiel and from prophecies given other Prophets. What God
advised for us was also valid for Himself. When He said Truth should be
established by the mouth of two or more, even He made sure every
prophesy important for the salvation of mankind was spoken by 2 or more
Prophets. So every understanding should have at least 2 or more
supporting scriptures and none against it.

As I stated before, the Church is moving from one stage (5th stage) to
another (6th stage) which will be a glorious stage. Many people are
shouting hoarse that the end is at hand (7th stage), they are missing to
see what the Lord is doing. The shaking we see is not against us but for
us. It is time for us to move ahead, a time of the great harvest. Like
today's message it speaks of the fall of the Catholic Church (the
younger daughter of the false bride, the elder daughter being the Jewish
Church) which is deceiving people, instead of leading them to God in the
name of God she is destroying the lives of them that trust in her.

Soon we will see the financial resources of the Catholic Church getting
into problem and this business empire that it has built will soon tumble
down. So instead of hiding or sitting and praying the whole day we
Christians are called to move out and reach out to the lost souls
especially the Catholics and Muslims (with whom the Lord has started His
work since 5 years).

Now is the time and like Joshua battled let us get into the spiritual
battle. Joshua knew the Lord was with him and the Lord seeing that faith
made still the Sun and Moon for him and caused rocks to fall from the
sky on the enemy. Joshua not only killed the whole army of the enemy but
pursued the 5 kings who were hiding in the caves and killed them. We are
called not only to save the lost souls but to also expose the hidden
lies and deceit of the enemy.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray your people do not hide out of fear but understand now is
the time of the great battle, the time for the great harvest. We pray
they have boldness in them. We bind the spirit of fear and deceit and
break the hold of these spirits on your people. We speak courage,
wisdom, understanding and passion for the lost into your people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Revelation 17 & 18

Ezekiel 16:44-47

44Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against
thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

45Thou art thy mother's daughter, that lotheth her husband and her
children; and thou art the sister of thy sisters, which lothed their
husbands and their children: your mother was an Hittite, and your father
an Amorite.

46And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that dwell at
thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy right hand,
is Sodom and her daughters.

47Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their
abominations: but, as if that were a very little thing, thou wast
corrupted more than they in all thy ways.

Ezekiel 23:1-4

1The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

2Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:

3And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in
their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised
the teats of their virginity.

4And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister:
and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their
names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

Zechariah 5:6-11

6And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth.
He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

7And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman
that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

8And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the
ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

9Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two
women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the
wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the
heaven.

10Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear
the ephah?

11And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar [means
country of 2 rivers - Egypt means dual strait]: and it shall be
established, and set there upon her own base.

John the Baptist prepared the way

Luke 3:1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius
Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and
his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis,
and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,

When a King arrives in court we find an announcer giving a shout so all can
be at attention. Bible says John the Baptist was Elijah who did not die but
came back with the purpose to announce / prepare the way for the arrival of
the King and Savior our Lord Jesus Christ.

Soon in a few days almost all Christians will be involved in an unchristian
activity of celebrating a pagan god’s feast as the birthday of Jesus
Christ. If you question them, they would say the date is not written so any
day can be celebrate in His remembrance. If you go by what they say you
will find their argument justified.

In most Islamic countries Christians use the term Allah for God since they
are told Allah means God. They do not know the word Allah means ‘the god’
and points to the chief deity among the 360 deities that existed in the
Kaaba during the time of Mohammad. Thus Allah is not God but a pagan god
chosen by Mohammad as the only god after he destroyed all the other 359
gods. It is the ignorance of the Christians that causes them to call the
Lord by the name of a pagan god. The same is the case with celebrating the
birthday of our Savior.

The Bible takes pain to give multiple historic references with regards to
John the Baptist’s birth and as stated here about his ministry. This
information is very important with regards to tracking the birthdate of
Jesus Christ since the difference between the two is six months. After the
Angel told Mary about she being six months pregnant, she went to meet her
cousin Elizabeth and Bible says the child in Elizabeth’s womb leapt with
joy. Mary then lived with her for 3 months and it is after this that
Elisabeth delivered.

If one studies the feasts as declared by the Lord in the OT, they are all
shadows of the events concerning the Lord Jesus Christ (and His Spirit /
the Holy Spirit). If one tracks the dates of the birth of Jesus Christ
through the dates of John the Baptist we find the birth of Jesus Christ
falls on the Feast of Tents / Feast of the Tabernacle / Feast of
Ingathering.

If one understands the Feast of Tents / Feast of the Tabernacle one will
understand the birth of Jesus Christ. It is called Feast of Tabernacle
because He is our Tabernacle and He came to make us part of the Tabernacle
so that day set the foundation of the eternal Tabernacle. It is also called
Feast of Tents because He was God who left His glorious abode, humbling
Himself He became man, thus by this God dwelt in a body of flesh as man by
becoming 100percent man (Bible states He became lower than the Angels). He
came to free us from the bondage of this flesh (carnal) so as to again
become the glorious being we were created as in the beginning.

You can gauge the foolishness of most Christians from the simple fact they
think Jesus was born in a stable surrounded by cows, sheep, goats and
donkeys. It shows how lies of Catholic traditions have blinded people’s
eyes that they read and they do not understand, they look and they do not
see, they hear and they do not realize.

Look at the scripture it says while they were waiting for a room in an inn
Mary gave birth to the child, warped the child in a swaddling cloth and
placed Him in a manger. People do not realize firstly it happened while
they were waiting for a room in the inn. Secondly after birth they put the
child into a manger which is a wooden box kept (outside the inn) so as to
feed the donkeys tied there. If we need to put the birth of Jesus in
today’s modern date His birth would be in a parking area of a hotel since
the donkeys were the mode of transport during that time like cars are of
today.

Let us not be blinded by the beliefs of the Catholic Church into
celebrating Christ Mass which was a high Mass celebrated to keep the pagan
Romans from celebrating the birth of their Sun god.

The birth of Jesus Christ (Feast of Tabernacle / Tents) is a very important
feast for us and is commanded by the Lord to be celebrated till the end of
time as a statute, same as with Resurrection Sunday (Passover) and with
Pentecost (Feast of the Harvest).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we thank You for being a sacrifice for us and making is possible for
us to return back to You. We were doomed to death and You came to give us
eternal life. Lord we need to understand the importance of your birth. Lord
since most Christians celebrate a pagan feast they do not realize the
importance of your becoming man. We pray they start to celebrate the Feast
of Tents/Tabernacle/Ingathering and know why You commanded we spend time
together in fellowship as one family by leaving our houses...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Luke 1:36 And, behold, thy cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son
in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.

Luke 1:5-11

5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest
named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters
of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments
and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both
were now well stricken in years.

8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before
God in the order of his course,

9 According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn
incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.

10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time
of incense.

11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right
side of the altar of incense.

Luke 2:4-11

4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into
Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was
of the house and lineage of David:)

5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished
that she should be delivered.

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling
clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in
the inn.

Exodus 23:14-17

14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year.

15 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep: seven days thou shalt
eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, at the time appointed in the
month Abib (for in it thou camest out from Egypt); and none shall appear
before me empty:

16 and the feast of harvest, the first-fruits of thy labors, which thou
sowest in the field: and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year,
when thou gatherest in thy labors out of the field.

17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before the Lord
Jehovah.

Making disciples for themselves

Matthew 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye
compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make
him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

In today's message we see Jesus rebukes the scribes and Pharisees for
destroying other people by making them not only like them but worse than
themselves.

Confront a Catholic priest with regards to the wrong which the Catholics
congregation is doing like idol worship or reciting prayers or other
things and he will agree he knows it is wrong but he will still not open
his mouth and stop them. Ask him as to why and he will say because he
fears those above. He is not talking of God here or the Angels but his
superiors. The same with a Jewish Rabbi he too knows what the scriptures
say and what they do is in contrast yet he will not let go of these vain
tradition just because he fears those above him. This is not restricted
to these 2 sects of worshippers of God for we see this happening even
among Believers (Christians).

Look at main stream churches, their main aim is to keep people in the
Church and for that they have rules and regulations. If someone new
comes into the Church thirsting for the Word of God they will first give
them their doctrines and tell them to study them. If the person
questions their doctrines then that person is rebuked and even outcaste.
They have a system that the senior most Pastors are unquestionable, same
like the Catholics consider the Pope as infallible or Jews of their
Chief Rabbi.

Look at Christian Evangelist and Preachers today they are drawing people
to themselves and not to God. How do you discern a person making
disciples for themselves or for the Lord? Look at the people around that
person. If you see the same lot of people, and in the same place,
learning from that person for many years then you can be assured that
the person is making disciples for himself.

There is a Catholic evangelist I know from the time I was in the
Catholic Church that is more than 12 years back, and even today he
teaches the same things which he taught then with not even 20percent change.

Have you heard of the fable keep live crabs in a bowl overnight that too
with the lid uncovered and you can be rest assured none will come out.
This happens because if anyone is climbing out the one below pulls his
down.

While teaching on Satan one brother said 'who needs Satan when we have
Believer brothers in Church'.

Jesus is a model of perfection and He Himself did not try to keep His
disciples to Himself. He taught them, enabled them and then handed them
over to the Holy Spirit whom He knew was the perfect Teacher. Jesus knew
that as man He could not do what the Spirit of God could do.

Let us build people not to follow us but to follow the Spirit of God.
Once they start to follow the Spirit of God then they cease to be our
students or disciples but become our colleagues and coworkers.

Paul called Timothy his spiritual son. Paul was an Apostle and Timothy
an Evangelist. But the time Timothy settled down, was independent and
strong, Paul started to call him his coworker and not his spiritual son.
In the Kingdom of God no man is anyone's student forever, but they are
students of the Holy Spirit forever for there is not true Teacher other
than the Holy Spirit.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray that people stop making disciples for themselves and thus
harden the hearts of those under them even more then themselves. Lord we
pray the Church moves ahead in the Kingdom of God and not just grows in
size, for even if the whole world becomes Christian but none enter
Heaven then the Word will be void and the sacrifice of Christ become
void. It is better few enter than none. Let your Church know it is You
who adds people for You are the Lord of the Harvest...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Matthew 3:7But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to
his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned
you to flee from the wrath to come?

Matthew 12:34O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good
things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Matthew 23:33Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the
damnation of hell?

Matthew 10:24A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above
his lord.

Matthew 23:8But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your teacher, and all
ye are brethren.

John 14:26But the Comforter, even the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will
send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your
remembrance all that I said unto you.

Prophecies concerning Judah and Jerusalem

Isaiah 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and
Jerusalem.

Just a few minutes back I saw a clip of an Islamic scholar / preacher
quoting their scriptures about the house in the seventh heaven. He said
the Quran states if that house would fall it would fall right on the
Kaaba. He quoted this to prove that the earth is still and the Sun
revolves around it as the Quran states. He said if the earth was
revolving than the heavenly house would fall in the sea or in some
barren land.

He also took another 'logical case' case of traveling from Saudi Arabia
to China. He said if the earth was revolving then the plane would have
to just stop in sky and China would come to the plane. Also if the earth
was revolving the other way then how is it that the plane manages to
catch up with China; that should have not been possible.

We may not know to laugh or grieve at the intelligence of these
spiritual leaders who are blinded by what they read and these very
characters are leading people by the millions. When we look at them and
at Christianity, the story with Christian leaders is not far behind.

It is truly sad when one understands with wisdom as to what Christian
Churches and Bible Colleges are preaching. Let take for example today's
scripture which talks of Judah and Jerusalem. It speaks of them as two
different identities. The region given to Judah was known as Judea and
Jerusalem is a chief city (capital) of the region of Judea. It would be
like saying the leaders of Delhi and the leaders of India.

Let us take the next two verses which speaks of the Lord's house on
mountains and it speak of another place Zion. Is Lord a man to stay in a
house on top of mountains? Also are people aware Zion is another name
for Jerusalem. The term Zion means fortified city. It was used to
Jerusalem when David ruled it, but interestingly this city had no walls
around it at that time it was later that Solomon build walls around it.

Solomon was a wise man but not a Man of God like David was. When David
said Zion he did not talk of natural walls. Same is the case with
prophecies regarding the House of Jacob, or House of Israel, or
prophecies with regards to Judah, or Jerusalem, or Zion.

Let us not behave like the foolish Islamic preacher, our God is full of
wisdom and Bible says if we pray and ask for wisdom He happily gives us.

[Prayer Starter]

Father God we pray You bless your people with wisdom. You people are far
from knowledge and understanding of the Kingdom of God, leave alone to
knowing the mysteries of your Kingdom. They believe Heaven is made of
physical gold and gems and is like a resort floating in the air having
walls and gates made of pearl. Lord people are so bounded in the flesh
they have made the Kingdom of God as a kingdom of the world. We pray a
revival of Truth amongst your people...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Isaiah 2:2-3

2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the
LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall
be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the
mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will
teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion
shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

2 Timothy 3:7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of
the truth.

Who are the children of Satan?

John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is
withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are
burned.

Religious Christians normally call those who do not know God as children
of Satan and those who know Him as children of God. You may be in for a
surprise.

Read as to whom did Jesus call as children of Satan? Was it the pagans
or was it the rebellious, religious Jews? People who knew God or the
ones who did not know God? People who do not know God or are not
interested in Him are not called children of Satan but are called
children of vanity. Bible puts them as grass which grows its life time
and withers and later is put in fire. The goodness of worldly man is
like flowers of the grass which last a season / period and perish. These
people however good they may look they do not have real spiritual fruits.

Now you may ask me bro then who are called 'children of Satan', the real
'haters of God'?

Satan in the OT is symbolized as a goat. We see devil worshippers since
ancient times make a man with a head of a goat. Does God hate goats or
are goats evil? No.

When we say flock it includes both sheep and goats. When Judgment Day
comes Jesus said He would separate the sheep from the goats. The sheep
would be on the right hand and the goats on the left. Those on the right
would enter the Kingdom of God and those on the left would be punished.
They are not punished for not doing social work. The Apostles themselves
did not do social work although they supported it. Understand the
feeding, clothing, sheltering and giving water to the thirsty is more
spiritual than natural. It is about feeding Living Bread (knowledge of
the Word) to those who are spiritually hungry, clothing in Righteousness
those who are spiritually naked, sheltering those who are spiritual
orphan and giving Living Water (right understanding of the Word) to
those who thirst for life. In other words those who do not do that or do
things contrary to that may not stand with the sheep and may find
themselves as standing with the goats. So even if you are a Preacher or
Pastor and doing things contrary to the above then beware you may be
counted among the goats.

Satan is a Cherub, one who was close to God and knows God better than
the Angels but he refused to walk in the ways of the Lord and resisted
the light thus caused darkness. Satan is a deceiver and children of
Satan are those who are like Him deceiving. They are not people ignorant
of God but people who know God and yet do not follow Him thus
misrepresent Him. They are people who know the ways of the Lord and yet
resist His ways. So where would you find the children of Satan, out on
the pubs or in illegal social places? Maybe, but more of them will be in
churches and at prayer meetings rather than in those places.

The Lord said either you be warm or be cold but if you are lukewarm I
will spit you out of my mouth. God loves them who love His ways of
righteousness and truth. He has mercy on those who do not and history
will confirm He allows them to exist and perish but those who
misrepresent Him, He is known to show His anger on them.

If you call yourself a child of God, then you are expected to live your
life in His ways. One needs to BE A Christian and not just call oneself
a Christians or do rituals like going to Church, giving alms, praying
etc. these things do not make you a Christian.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, people think Satan who is evil would be ugly and thus they think
his child would be spiritually ugly. But they fail to realize Satan is a
deceiver thus his child would also be deceivers. They would misled
people in Your name and lead them to destruction. They are people who
keep people busy in fruitless things, people who resist Truth and do not
allow the Truth to be spoken. Lord give us discernment to discern you
people from those who are of Satan...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

John 8:42-47

42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I
proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will
do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth,
because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of
his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye
not believe me?

47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not,
because ye are not of God.

Matthew 25:31-46

Psalms 103:15-16

15As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he
flourisheth.

16For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof
shall know it no more.

Isaiah 40:6-8

6The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass,
and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field:

7The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the LORD
bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass.

8The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall
stand for ever.

Can we venerate Mary?

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in
heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

When one asks a Catholic 'why do they worship Mary', they would say 'we
do not worship Mary, we venerate her'. Now ask them what is the meaning
of venerate and then these people would show their confusion. They would
say 'respect', does that mean they do not respect other men and women of
God in the Bible and why do they do not do to them what they do to her?
They would then say she is special for she is chosen. So it comes back
to the question what 'special veneration' are they doing to her?

To understand the term 'venerate' one needs to go to the Bible. The word
exists in the prayer 'Our Father' and is translated as 'Hallowed', it
also exist about 26 times in the New Testament and is translated as
'Sanctify' or 'Be Holy'. If one reads the scriptures where this word is
used one would understand the underline un-holiness of the Catholic
Church i.e.

Jesus says in John17:17 sanctify [venerate] them through the Truth; they
word is Truth'

Hebrew 13:12 the writer (Paul) says Jesus sanctifies [venerates] us by
His blood (sacrifice).

Now tell me what exactly are Catholics doing sanctifying or declaring
Holy or hallowing Mary or the name of the Mary and by what means or
method? By worshipping or serving her idols and images? The very things
God forbid!

Catholics should realize when they are venerating Mary, they are not
actually venerating her but they are un-venerating themselves. They are
making themselves unholy by doing things contrary to the Word. It is
another thing that they do not realize the Mary they 'venerate' is not
actually the mother of Jesus but another spirit that comes in her name
and it was this very spirit which also caused the destruction of the
Israelites at the Hand of God. They should also realize it did not
happen immediately, even for them God waited for many years to change
and then took them to task.

They should stop trying to fool God or His people by using terms they do
not understand themselves. Are they replacing the Word of God with their
'Mary' or are they replacing the Savior with her? If you observe
minutely you will see they are actually doing that. To go to Jesus they
say go through Mary thus putting her above Jesus and making her their
chief Savior, whatever this spirit says they believe blindly and
overrule the Word of God which this spirit contradicts.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord Your Word say You are a Zealous God and You would not share your
glory with anyone else. Lord it is only your Word and your Sacrifice
that sanctifies us; it is the Truth that we receive by our faith in your
salvation which sets us free from sin. Lord we pray our brothers and
sister who are still in the Catholic Church may be set free from the
deceit that blinds them. We speak their eyes be opened. We speak light
into their darkness and we pray for abundant grace over their lives...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

John 17:17Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:19And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be
sanctified through the truth.

Hebrews 13:12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people
with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

1 Thessalonians 5:23And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I
pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto
the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:11He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which
is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be
righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Jeremiah 7:18The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire,
and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven,
and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke
me to anger.

Jeremiah 44:17-23

17But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own
mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink
offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and
our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem:
for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

18But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to
pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have
been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

19And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out
drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour
out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

20Then Jeremiah said unto all the people, to the men, and to the women,
and to all the people which had given him that answer, saying,

21The incense that ye burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets
of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and
the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not
into his mind?

22So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your
doings, and because of the abominations which ye have committed;
therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse,
without an inhabitant, as at this day.

23Because ye have burned incense, and because ye have sinned against the
LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law,
nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is
happened unto you, as at this day.

1 Kings 11:5For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the
Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites.

Even death has no power over you

Luke 2:26And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should
not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

Simeon is not introduced as a Prophet or an Apostle or one having any
post or Calling (like Anna is introduced as a Prophetess here). He is
described here simply as a man to whom the Holy Spirit spoke.

Simeon was a very elderly man who desired to see the promised Savior as
promised in the scriptures. So indirectly Bible states Simeon did
meditate on the Word of God so knew that the arrival of the Savior was
at hand and he believed God would fulfill his desire to see the Savior.
When Simeon saw and held the Savior he declared the favor of God on his
life and also prophesied like a Prophet (even greater than the
Prophetess Anna) even though the Bible did not introduce him as a Prophet.

Simeon spoke of how the Savior (Jesus) would be a Rock which will not
allow the Israelites to continue their way of life in the name of God as
God's people. The Savior Jesus Christ would cause them to either accept
God or reject God.

Simeon also told Mary what Mary would not imagine and something that
would happen after 500years. Simeon told her that after her death (soul)
people who claim to love her would hurt her most ('a sword shall pierce
through thy own soul also'). He said God would allow this so as to
expose the hate they have for Him ('that the thoughts of many hearts may
be revealed'). In other words all those 'Christians' who claim to love
Mary and worship her are actually hurting her the most and more
important is God is allowing this to expose their false love for Him.
Since they hate God that is why they disobey Him and worship her
(exactly what Israelites also did by worshipping the Queen of Heaven).
What these people have done in their hate is replaced the importance of
the Holy Spirit with her so as to shut the Holy Spirit from taking to them.

One thing the Lord wants us to know today is if we are baptized in the
Lord and His Spirit then the promise of God in our lives has more power
over us than even death.

Everyone has to die a natural death but this natural death will not
touch us until what God has promised in our lives is fulfilled. Also the
second death which is death of the spirit is completely destroyed
because the promise of eternal life is in us.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord your promise is light and light is more powerful that darkness.
Your promise O Lord is more powerful that death. Lord we pray we mediate
on your promise and believe in it like Simeon did and we pray Lord we
learn to hear your Spirit like Simeon did. Let death not be a fear for
us but just an event in our lives which takes us from one stage to
another after we complete and receive that we have to in this stage...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Luke 2:25-38

25And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and
this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of
Israel: and the Holy Spirit was upon him.

26And it had been revealed unto him by the Holy Spirit, that he should
not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.

27And he came in the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents
brought in the child Jesus, that they might do concerning him after the
custom of the law,

28then he received him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,

29Now lettest thou thy servant depart, Lord, According to thy word, in
peace;

30For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,

31Which thou hast prepared before the face of all peoples;

32A light for revelation to the Gentiles, And the glory of thy people
Israel.

33And his father and his mother were marvelling at the things which were
spoken concerning him;

34and Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this
child is set for the falling and the rising of many in Israel; and for a
sign which is spoken against;

35yea and a sword shall pierce through thine own soul; that thoughts out
of many hearts may be revealed.

36And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the
tribe of Asher (she was of a great age, having lived with a husband
seven years from her virginity,

37and she had been a widow even unto fourscore and four years), who
departed not from the temple, worshipping with fastings and
supplications night and day.

38And coming up at that very hour she gave thanks unto God, and spake of
him to all them that were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.

God is again at work

Jeremiah 23:14I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible
thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the
hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are
all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

Before coming to the message I like to attend to the two words Sodom and
Gomorrah. They were the two twin cities during the time of Abraham that
were destroyed by God.

There are very few places where God Himself intervened and took action
and He did for the benefit of His people. Sodom symbolizes lust
(burning) and Gomorrah means 'submerge' but comes from the root word
'merchandize'. If you take a world view of countries of the lust
industry they are in Europe, if you look at countries which are making
peak business in the name of Christianity (merchandize which submerges
the Truth), they too are in Europe. So today's Sodom and Gomorrah both
exist in Europe.

Let us take for instance another event where God took things in His
hands - the Tower of Babel. The tower was a temple which He destroyed
since all the people unified under one deity, a goddess (the chief deity
of the tower was a female goddess). They lifted this woman above God.
God not only bought the tower down but cause confusion /
misunderstanding among the people of the world which is prevailing even
today.

If you look at religions of the world we find Europe leading in World
Religion where all religions are unified with one purpose to deny the
Truth. Since God and Truth cannot be separated thus denying Truth is as
good as denying God.

Long time back before Arab Spring took place we were getting messages
about it. Today if you look at our previous messages and today's
messages we are at another turn in world history which is about to
unfold in Europe.

We always refer to Europe as Christian countries and I do not understand
why? Europe has more Catholics and they do not constitute as Christians.
More than Catholics we see Atheism taking hold of Europe and now Islam
is taking grip of the European nations. The woman deity that rules in
name of Christianity and promotes idolatry among Christians is also
rooted in Europe thus the Tower of Babel of today is in Europe since the
disciple of this goddess are promoting oneness again.

A few weeks back I was reading prophecies regarding Europe and am today
seeing them unfold. It is sad what has just happened in France at the
hands of ISIS. Now the European nations are coming together to fight
ISIS. A question I ask is 'Can they?'.

The largest part of the top position holders of ISIS come from Europe.
They are Europeans holding European passports. Almost fourty to fifty
percent of Muslims in European countries are active radical Muslims,
unlike in India where we are still under the ten to fifteen percent
mark. Fighting ISIS is like fighting Islam because the ideology of ISIS
is Islamic. We do find some Arab nations supporting the fight against
ISIS but they are those who hold Kingdoms and are doing only to protect
their personal interest since they know true Islam is communist in
nature. It neither believes in democracy nor monarchy.

Their prophet became famous in Medina when he bought equality among the
rich and poor, among strong and weak, among races and tribes. This is
not about human equality here, but deeper (note men still oppress women
and white skin is give upper hand over black, since black people are
compared to Satan so also are black dogs); see their dressing is like
uniform, even their other traditions and rituals, compare them with the
communist ideology like that prevailing in China. Communists have the
Red Book and Islam the Quran, the matter within is not understood well
but yet the book is more valuable than life itself. Questioning it is
unthinkable and will result in death punishment.

Fighting ISIS in Europe is like fighting with its own people and with
the invasion of refugees into Europe by the thousands they have let the
enemy into the fortress and strengthened them.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord You have set all things with regards to the salvation of your
people in your Word and what is written will come to pass. Lord we know
we are at the turn of history and we are shaken by what is happening.
But we know Lord You will protect them that trust in You and do all
things for the benefit of your people. We pray for your people in Europe
and ask You to strengthen them today and in the days to come...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Isaiah 21

1The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass
through; so it cometh from the desert, from a terrible land.

2A grievous vision is declared unto me; the treacherous dealer dealeth
treacherously, and the spoiler spoileth. Go up, O Elam: besiege, O
Media; all the sighing thereof have I made to cease.

3Therefore are my loins filled with pain: pangs have taken hold upon me,
as the pangs of a woman that travaileth: I was bowed down at the hearing
of it; I was dismayed at the seeing of it.

4My heart panted, fearfulness affrighted me: the night of my pleasure
hath he turned into fear unto me.

5Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye
princes, and anoint the shield.

6For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him
declare what he seeth.

7And he saw a chariot with a couple of horsemen, a chariot of asses, and
a chariot of camels; and he hearkened diligently with much heed:

8And he cried, A lion: My lord, I stand continually upon the watchtower
in the daytime, and I am set in my ward whole nights:

9And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen.
And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the
graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

10O my threshing, and the corn of my floor: that which I have heard of
the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, have I declared unto you.

11The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of
the night? Watchman, what of the night?

12The watchman said, The morning cometh, and also the night: if ye will
enquire, enquire ye: return, come.

13The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall ye lodge, O ye
travelling companies of Dedanim.

14The inhabitants of the land of Tema brought water to him that was
thirsty, they prevented with their bread him that fled.

15For they fled from the swords, from the drawn sword, and from the bent
bow, and from the grievousness of war.

16For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Within a year, according to the
years of an hireling, and all the glory of Kedar shall fail:

17And the residue of the number of archers, the mighty men of the
children of Kedar, shall be diminished: for the LORD God of Israel hath
spoken it

The Lord takes His revenge

Zephaniah 3: 5,6The just LORD is in the midst thereof; he will not do
iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth
not; but the unjust knoweth no shame. I have cut off the nations: their
towers are desolate; I made their streets waste, that none passeth by:
their cities are destroyed, so that there is no man, that there is none
inhabitant.

We always highlight the nature of God being merciful but people do not
highlight the nature of God being slow to anger. Slow to anger does not
mean God does not respond at all. Our God is not dead or dumb or
impotent or forgetful. God is also not a man to blink so nothing is
hidden from Him even for a millisecond.

Slow to anger means God gives time to change and within that time if the
person does not change, then there will come a time that God will
respond hard.

Today’s message tells us, God allows a time for evil (night) but then
God sets a limit to this evil and then He takes the evil doers to task.
Anger is not evil and all Christians are called to hate evil, but we
should know the source of evil and deal with the source not with the
victims of evil. Sometime victims of evil become perpetrators of evil or
vessels in hands of evil doers and we should try to rescue them from the
hold of evil on them. We need to give time for change, but then we
should not wait forever. Like God awaits so also we too need to attend
to that evil.

You may think is God man to not know that He waits?

Go knows the result but being righteous He does not give a chance to man
to point a finger to His Name / Character. Like He knows who will accept
Him and walk in His ways (those whose names are written in the Book of
Life), so also He know who will be part of the army of darkness / those
who will revolt against Light / Truth , but yet He lets them be born and
do their work. At the end God does have His way for the victory is
already written and victory is His.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we give glory unto You Lord and we thank You Lord for making us in
this time where we will see your glory grow. We thank You Lord for bring
down the strong holds of evil doers and bringing to void their plans and
making them an exhibit of foolishness and vanity...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Throne to all generations

Psalms 89:3,4I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto
David my servant, Thy seed will I establish for ever, and build up thy
throne to all generations. Selah.

In the whole Bible the word 'Selah' occurs 71 times in the book of
Psalms and 3 times in the book of Habakkuk. Habakkuk means strong
embrace and he was a man who embraced the wisdom of God very strongly.
He was one among three Prophets (Haggai and Zechariah) to use the tile
'The Prophet' to his name. Some believe like a prophet he did not say
'thus says the Lord' but may have said it in psalms (poems or songs)
since 'Selah' was a musical note something like a long pause. It was a
sign to notify the high importance of the sentence. In English text it
would equate to underlining of the sentence.

If one speaks to the learned Jews (most Jews like Muslims memorize the
text but do not pursue deeper understanding of the text) about today's
message they would say this was one of the two most important promises
of God which they await. Many Jews would say they await a Messiah but
only the learned ones would say they await two Messiahs according to the
two promises, one a Prophet greater than Moses and second a King as
promised in today's message (the Sadducees did not value the books of
the Prophets so ignored this promise).

If you ask a Christian what today's scripture means and they would say
Jesus will come to establish His Throne forever.

Religion is mental programing and is like blindfolds to wisdom or
spiritual eyes of a person. Today's scripture is proof of our last
message. People go not by what they read or what the text says but go by
what they have been told or programed. Typical case of misunderstood
people teaching others, that is why in scriptures always we see God
blamed the fathers of the Jews for their misunderstanding, but blamed
the hearts of the Jews for their character.

The scripture does not talk of Lord establishing His Throne but
establishing the throne of man, 'thy throne' here making David as a
representative of mankind.

Understand Jesus / God did not humble Himself and become man to
establish His Throne. His Kingdom was, is and will be forever, and no
being can and will threaten His Kingdom for He is indeed God. God came
as man to save His creation and reestablish the kingdom of mankind.

When God created man God had given dominion to man over this creation
(this dimension of God's Kingdom). Man due to sin had lost his rule over
this creation and caused creation to become his enemy (revolt against
him). Jesus by restoring the image of God in us helps us restore our rue
over this creation and thus the throne (rule) of mankind is restored.
Jesus as man is called Prince of Peace (not King of Peace) and is also
called Chief Prince (head of all Princes of God / Israel).

Let us understand the battle is ours and Jesus through His Spirit is
leading us in our battle. We are fighting for what we lost and the
battle is inwards not outwards. Satan did not rob us but caused us to
lose. He attacked our image and thus caused us to lose our kingship. The
stronger we are inside the greater hold we will have on the outside. So
let us not be distracted with what is happening outside, instead let us
focus on the inside and bring back the image of God in us (become Sons
of God), and we will see every being in this creation will bend its knee
to the Lord.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord You created us to rule and due to sin we became slaves. Lord we
pray by being slaves not to sin but to your plans we work to gain our
kingship again. Lord let all your people understand when they work for
your Kingdom they realize they are working for their kingship and their
kingship is part of your Kingdom and that You are helping them to regain
their Kingship...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

The mighty will cry bitterly

Zephaniah 1:14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth
greatly, even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty [strong] man
shall cry there bitterly.

I have mentioned this before, there are 2 days (not literal 24hour day
but a period of time) written as 'Day of the Lord'; one is 'Day of the
Lord's wrath' and the other 'Day of the Lord's Judgment'. Today's
message speaks about the Day of the Lord's wrath. One can read the
Prophet Joel chapter 2 about the days just before the Judgment Day (when
Christ comes again to judge mankind). Between these two days are the
glory days of the Church and then a false peace, just before the false
prophet and Satan being released.

If one studies the seven letters to the seven Churches (Rev 2 and 3) it
gives details of the seven stages of the Church (after death and
resurrection of Christ). The Day of Wrath is just before the 6th stage
and after the 5th stage. Apparently we currently are in the 5th stage
going to the 6th where the Church sees the unification of all Christian
denominations and the glory of God will be visible amongst His people.
For the change to come the Lord needs to revive the Church and its
people. The people who will see the wrath will be more the inside people
than the outside people.

One scripture says the Lord (His Angel) will go through His people
(Temple) starting from the inner court. Let us not think we can fool the
Lord with our external religious practices.

The people to see the max wrath are the leaders of the Church who are
misleading the people or putting them in bondages of 'Church authority'
which is manmade (rooted in Nicolaitan system which the Catholic Church
follows).

Let us revive ourselves before we come to a stage that God has to.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You Word has set the timeline of mankind and what You have spoken
You will bring to pass. You are patient and slow to anger but when the
time comes for fulfillment of your Word You actively pursue and shake
people from their core. Lord we pray your Church wakes up and understand
we live in a time of prophesies, a time of shaking...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Zephaniah 1:14-18

14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly,
even the voice of the day of the LORD: the mighty man shall cry there
bitterly.

15That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of
wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of
clouds and thick darkness,

16A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against
the high towers.

17And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind
men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be
poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.

18Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in
the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the
fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all
them that dwell in the land.

Joel 2:1-3

1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:
let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD
cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

2A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick
darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a
strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more
after it, even to the years of many generations.

3A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land
is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate
wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

R.D SOUZA Saved by faith - Page 29 Empty Re: R.D SOUZA Saved by faith

From sin to religion

Jeremiah 34:15, 16 And ye were now turned, and had done right in my sight,
in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and ye had made a
covenant before me in the house which is called by my name: But ye turned
and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his
handmaid, whom ye had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and
brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

Today again the Lord wants to discuss on bondage and liberty, continuing
the topic we received yesterday.

Before we are baptized in the Lord we were salves to sin and death but
after our repentance and belief in the salvation in the Lord Jesus Christ
we are free from the hold of sin on us. It does not mean we are free from
sin, it just means we do not continue to live a life of sin. It means we
battle sin and try to overcome sin by building faith and increasing the
grace of God in our lives.

Since Christ paid a price for our freedom from Hell by His victory over
Hell, we become slaves / servants unto Him. But the day we are baptized in
His Spirit we are considered free for we have received His Spirit who
enables us to become Sons of God; for scriptures says those who are led by
Spirit are Sons of God. Since baptism is not a ritual but a long process so
also our becoming Sons of God is a long process and continues through
generations until the Truth is complete in us and we overcome like Jesus
and become like Him.

The Lord has been giving us this message yesterday and today because we in
Church are freeing people from the bondage of sin and putting them in
another bondage; a bondage more worse than sin.

If one learns the Hebrew words ‘evil’ it symbolically means depriving or
holding back the prosperity (spiritual) which exist in the Kingdom of God,
‘sin’ on the other hand means missing life that is eternal in Him. So
anything that we do which holds us back from growing in the Lord is evil
and anything we do which deprives us from eternal life in Him is sin.

When we take people who are forgiven due to their faith in the Lord and
deprive them from growing in the Lord by putting them in bondages of
religion or religious practices then we are counted in the category of evil
doers or promoters of evil.

Many Pastors feel it more important to keep believers in Church than to
empower them and send them out to build Churches in whole.

As Christians our battle is inside and our mission is outside. It is the
outside mission that helps us fight the inside battle better. We should
make sure all members of the Church are involved in some or other activity
of evangelizing or service. We need to teach them like Jesus taught His
twelve; we need to put them through mission like Jesus send the seventy in
pairs.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray the Church leaders concentrate more on sending people out of
Churches than bringing them in Churches. We pray they realize unless
Christians do not go out unbelievers will not come in. We pray Lord they
understand the importance of building disciples for You and not disciples
for themselves. We pray your people be led by your Spirit and not be led by
the rules and guild lines of some ministry...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death
by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Luke 10:1-21

1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them
two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself
would come.

2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the
labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would
send forth labourers into his harvest.

3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not,
it shall turn to you again.

7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they
give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things
as are set before you:

9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of
God is come nigh unto you.

10 But into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go your
ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off
against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is
come nigh unto you.

12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for
Sodom, than for that city.

13 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty
works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they
had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than
for you.

15 And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shalt be thrust down
to hell.

16 He that heareth you heareth me; and he that despiseth you despiseth me;
and he that despiseth me despiseth him that sent me.

17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils
are subject unto us through thy name.

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto
you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O
Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the
wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for
so it seemed good in thy sight.

Setting free on the Sabbath year

Jeremiah 34:14 At the end of seven years let ye go every man his brother
an Hebrew, which hath been sold unto thee; and when he hath served thee six
years, thou shalt let him go free from thee: but your fathers hearkened not
unto me, neither inclined their ear.

There are many who argue on the Sabbath day, the seventh day (Saturday) of
the week as the day of rest. People love to quote scriptures pro or against
it. One should also look at other factors like which seventh day from when,
if they truly consider the seventh day as Sabbath. Are people aware that
many times in history days have been added or removed from the calendar/s?
They say seventh day of the week as the Sabbath, but if I reset the week
suddenly will they ok with the seventh day from the time of resetting of
the week or seventh day from the previous seventh day? If it is 7 days from
the previous Sabbath then would they be ok with another day of the week
being a Sabbath. If they stick to the week’s seventh day as being the
Sabbath then are they keeping the instructions of 6 days rest and seventh
day as rest?

Are people aware the naming of the weeks are according to heavenly
(astronomical) bodies Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn.
And more amazing is the fact this naming system roots in Babylonian
astrology (around 500BC done according to pagan gods) which was innovated
by the Romans according to Hellenistic astrology in 1 AD and made popular
worldwide in 4 AD. In between 4AD and now, certain Christians used to call
Sunday as Day of the Lord and Saturday as Sabbath. It was the Catholic
Church which had a big hand in making the Babylonian / Roman pagan gods
based week naming system a world standard.

I have never seen people debate on the Sabbath year, or Jubilee year (which
came after 7 Sabbath years). Were they not instructed from the Lord?

In the New Testament we see 55 times the word ‘Sabbath’ occurs and 45 times
in just the Gospels. In the Gospels they are mostly used as reference to
the time of day or in arguments which Jesus had with the Jews. Of the
remaining 10 times 9 times it occurs in the book of Acts alone and only
once does Paul or other disciples refer to the Sabbath and that too it is
referred to along with New Moon day and pagan holidays.

Neither Jesus nor Paul denied the Sabbath, or said we should not keep the
Sabbath but they had a good understanding of it. For them it was not a
tradition or ritual. When Jesus said Son of Man was the lord of the Sabbath
most think He was referring to Himself as the ‘Son of Man’ as the lord here.

Today’s message shows God was serious even of the Sabbath year not just the
Sabbath day. Our God is not into traditions and time of the day or week or
year is not a factor for Him or for His people who are led by His Spirit.
It is by the understanding of the Sabbath year that Paul could state he was
a slave bought for a price by the Lord and was free, yet now he considered
himself as a voluntary bond slave having rights to inheritance as a son
does.

I was just watching today a video on Youtube about what Israelis thought
about Jesus. What you see in the video is that all Jews disown Jesus as
Messiah. Many stated to a extend He left Judaism to start another religion.
But one thing all Jews were proud of was Moses, the Torah and the
traditions of the Jews. Their traditions are more important than the
purpose of their traditions.

Let us who are baptized in the Holy Spirit not be bonded in rituals and
worship God in the flesh, nor let us burden others who are baptized in the
Holy Spirit into traditions. Let us not come to a state that the Lord asks
us the same question which He did to the Israelites in today’s message ‘why
did you not let your brethren free on the Sabbath year?’.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord your Word says there will come a time when your people worship You in
Spirit and Truth. We pray that your people know You are not into rituals
and everything You stated or recorded in your Word has purpose and
understanding and that purpose and understanding is more important than the
letter...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Matthew 12:1-5

1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his
disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.

2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples
do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an
hungred, and they that were with him;

4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which
was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but
only for the priests?

5 Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests
in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

Matthew 12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

1 Corinthians 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is
the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is
Christ’s servant.

Acts 15:28-29

28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no
greater burden than these necessary things;

29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from
things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves,
ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Enforcing His plans by force

Luke 1:63, 64And he asked for a writing table, and wrote, saying, His
name is John. And they marvelled all. And his mouth was opened
immediately, and his tongue loosed, and he spake, and praised God.

We always talk of the free will that God has given us. We as humans have
a choice to choose life or death. If we choose life by believing and
surrendering to the Giver of Life then all our wrong doings are forgiven
and we get to go to Heaven to live there eternally else after our
natural death we suffer in a prison our every wrong doing until our
spiritual death (which is in thousands of years but is not eternal). The
punishment of those who choose death may sound terrible but even more
terrible is the suffering of those who believe in the Giver of Life but
do not accept His life giving Word. The punishment of those who believe
in Him yet reject His Word is beyond imagination and Bible says it was
intended not for man but for the fallen angels.

In today's message we see another aspect of God which may question free
will. Zacharias and his wife Elizabeth had a special role to play in the
coming of our Savior. They were to be vessels for the messenger who
makes way for the coming of the Savior. This was prophesied by the Lord
and had to be fulfilled at that time itself. Understand the time for the
coming was precise for many reasons and could not be delayed or advanced
by even a day. We see Zacharias was a godly man who had great love for
God and did his best to walk in righteousness (His ways), but his faith
was not very strong and God knew his weakness. God knew Zacharias had
the ability to speak loose words of disbelief and thus hamper the coming
of the one who makes way for the coming of the Savior, so God shuts the
mouth of Zacharias (ability to speak) and when the prophesy was
fulfilled God opened His mouth. So we see even though we have choice at
times God uses force.

Did God take away the free will of Zacharias by shutting him for nine
months of his wife Elizabeth conceiving till until she gave birth?
Actually NO.

God knew Zacharias would have been the happiest person to be the vessel
in the great plan of God for the salvation of mankind. But due to his
lack of knowledge and a shaky inner man he would have delayed the plan
of God.

For Abram to be known as Abraham God gave him many years, but for Jacob
to be known as Israel God had to take things by force, thus wrestled him
as a man.

Understand when it comes to personal choice or personal salvation God
has lots of patience, so gives us ample time. But if our decision can
affect the life of others especially mankind in whole then God does not
allow delay. We see here in the birth of John the Baptist God took
things by force, God knew the willingness of Zacharias but the margin of
delay due to the unsteady faith of Zacharias was a factor God could not
afford so God took it by force.

Today God is talking to all those who feel their life has been drastic
of stirred violently, if you feel that way then you could be an
important person in the plan of God for the salvation of others or
mankind in whole. You may not know it today but when the story gets over
you will see the great Hand of God in your life.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord You dwell beyond time and time is not a factor for You. You Lord
can see all things across time and thus You know all. You know our
hearts Lord what it is now and what it will become thus You call us by
our name for You alone know our names. Lord we pray we understand your
ways and overcome our weakness so as to not come to a stage that You
need to take things by force in our lives for what You declared in your
Word You will surely bring to past...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Overcoming temptation

Mark 14: 37,38 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto
Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? Watch ye and
pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the
flesh is weak.

It is very interesting when a person understands the design and functional
working of a spiritual human with regards to spiritual matters. For today’s
message I could preach like all, talking of how important prayer is and how
it helps overcome temptation. But when understand the design of man it is a
logical step and thus without doubt a necessity, by this we not only come
to know the importance but also know what prayer is or how to pray.

Without going through details and scriptural proofs, like our body is make
of head, hands, legs, torso etc. our inner man composes of 5 parts:-

Discernment

Throne

Mind

Nature

Conscience

Our physical body connects to our spirit man through our 5 senses that is
our sight, our hearing, our taste, our touch and our smell. The senses feed
our inner man and cause our inner man to react. The 5 sense connect to the
inner man through discernment. I call this part a pump like our natural
heart. Like our natural heart cleans our blood (which is life) bringing in
the bad blood and sending out the rich purified blood (although it does not
do the actual cleaning, it is very important in the process). If our
discernment is good even if we see or touch or taste or hear or smell
things which way harm us spiritually but our spirit man will yet be strong.
That is why what goes in does not necessary defile us but what comes out
shows how defiled we are.

The throne is our will. Anyone or anything that is seated on the throne
rules our being. If Lord or His Kingdom is seated on our throne we dwell in
the Kingdom of the Lord, if the world is seated than we are in the world,
if evil is seated on this throne then we in the kingdom of Satan. Also we
need to note when the world is seated on our throne then Satan gets an
indirect control over us.

Mind is where all our knowledge, wisdom and understanding is, it is also
the table on which our inner man works.

Nature is our Character. Like the throne (will) has a say over our being so
also our nature has a very important say. Our nature is like the skeleton
and beauty of our spirit man. Unlike the shape of our physical skeleton is
fixed and only grows in size our spiritual skeleton can change drastically
in shape and size. It is our nature that limits the growth our spirit man
like our natural legs limits the travelling of our physical body. When we
say a person is on fire for God that means the nature of that person seeks
the Nature of God.

Our spirit man connects to our spirit through our conscience which we
usually call our sixth sense. It is through our conscience the spirit world
communicates to us or takes control of us. That means the Lord / Kingdom of
God communicates through our conscience and so also evil spirits do through
this very part. If we have a strong (right) conscience and always control
our conscience well then we are called strong spiritually and thus let our
spirit have a greater say over us, thus led by the spirit. We receive
strength or are weakened spiritually through our conscience.

Why I explained the inner man in today’s message so that you understand
prayer. Although we use our natural body and our senses to pray, our actual
communication happens through our conscience to the spirit world. If we are
not communicating through our conscience rightly during prayer then we are
either become mechanical in prayer or toys in the hands of evil spirits (we
though we pray). We can be in prayer even if we are not using or physical
body but only or inner man communicating to God through our conscience. The
more we use our conscience the more strong we become. It is more important
how strongly we use our conscience not how much time we use it for. So a
short period of strong praying is better than long hours of weak praying.
It is not important how long we pray but how strong we pray. Like in a gym
we need to tune our exercise according to the results we aim for so also
our prayers or way of praying should be tuned.

The Greek word used for temptation here also means testing. Temptation is
wrong inputs or infection getting into our inner man to cause corruption.
Testing on the other hand are inputs which shakes or test the parts of our
inner man. Testing that comes from God does not pass our sustaining limit.
We should realize the importance of prayer since praying strengthen us and
helps us overcome temptation / testing.

Today’s message we see Jesus says ‘watch and pray that lest ye enter into
temptation / testing, the spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak’. He
is not talking of physical flesh as being weak but about our discernment
which connects and feds our inner man. To strengthen our inner man through
discernment it is very hard and it also takes time, but to strengthen our
inner man through our conscience it is easier. So during temptation or
testing we should always fall unto communicating with God (payer).

[Prayer Starter]

Lord we pray that we understand the power of prayer. We understand that the
spirit is real and the flesh temporary. We understand all things are first
existent in spirit and then manifested in the natural. We pray that we live
a prayerful life, not just praying more but praying more effective. Help us
live our lives in such a fashion that our prayer in more powerful to
overcome all temptation and testing...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

1 Corinthians 7:5-6

5 Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that
ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that
Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

6 But I speak this by permission [experience], and not of commandment.

Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are
spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering
thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

1 Thessalonians 3:5 For this cause, when I could no longer forbear, I sent
to know your faith, lest by some means the tempter have tempted you, and
our labour be in vain.

James 1:13-14

13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot
be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and
enticed.

The simple minded fools

Romans 16:25 - Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to
my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the
revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets,
according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all
nations for the obedience of faith:

Just 2 days back I was visiting a Believer church to meet an old friend
whom I met after many years. He had and has a great heart for God. I
knew him when I was in the Catholic Church and part of a ministry where
we together used to reach out to the lost. I was happy to see him join a
'Prophetic school' which has a 3 months long course on 'prophetic
evangelizing'.

My friend introduced me to another student who was a Pastor from south
India. When I was encouraging the Pastor about deeper study of the Word,
the Pastor surprisingly told me 'not to get too deep into all this, one
should be simple and concentrate on the Gospel'. 'The Gospel is very
important just stick to it'. He went on emphasizing and quoting verses
from the book of Romans.

Later I came to know I friend was still in the Catholic Church, yet he
called himself to be a 'Word rooted person'. When I asked him how could
he stand, sit or walk with the ungodly as Psalms 1 states, he was
justified in another way. He knew the traditions and the teachings of
the Catholic Church are contrary to the Word of God, He stated if he
needed to save those from this Church he needed to be in it. I did not
understand his terminology of saving and saving from what by keeping
them in the wrong? He too spoke to me quoting from Romans.

What really upset me was the Believer bro who was part of the Catholic
ministry we were in way back but came out along with me and was yet
justifying our friend. He was saying it is only the grace of God that
saves people and we should wait for the right time, for the right grace.
He too was quoting verses from the book of Romans.

The letter to the Romans was not the first letter of Paul yet leads all
his other letters since it is the signature letter of Paul. To know Paul
and his doctrine (understanding) one needs to learn this letter. Sadly
it is the most misunderstood and abused letter in the NT. Christians
misquote verses from it to justify their unchristian beliefs and deeds,
or their lethargic spiritual life. It is believed Paul wrote this letter
in 55AD and wrote it on his 3month trip to Corinth. This letter was
written by Paul giving great thought on the various topics. John
Chrysostom the Arch bishop of Constantinople 349 – 407 was so impacted
with this letter that he had it read to him twice every week.

For example let us take the topic grace in Romans.

We qualify for grace by our belief in the redemption that is in the
Savior (Lord Jesus Christ).

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption
that is in Christ Jesus:

Grace comes through faith. That means if I do not have faith in God then
I do not have the grace of God. It also means the amount of faith I have
also defines the amount of grace I can operate in. So I must increase
faith so that my grace increases.

Romans 5:2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein
we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Romans 4:16Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the
end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is
of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is
the father of us all,

Justification can be done by grace or by works. If I choose works to be
justified by God then I reject grace. Israel (people) did receive the
grace of God (Jeremiah 31:2) but when they chose to be justified by
works (law) then they lost the grace of God. So grace can be rejected or
lost.

Romans 4:2-4

2For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but
not before God.

3For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted
unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not
reckoned of grace, but of debt.

Romans 11:5-7

5Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to
the election of grace.

6And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no
more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise
work is no more work.

7What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the
election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

God increases grace on us when sin (temptation) around us increases, but
this grace does not give us a green card to sin. If I sin more because
grace is more, than I land rejecting grace and thus loose grace totally.

Romans 5:20-21

20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin
abounded, grace did much more abound:

21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through
righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:1,14,15

1What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the
law, but under grace.

15What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under
grace? God forbid.

Paul also states grace is not equal to all. Grace increases according to
faith, according to our situation (increase of sin) and also according
to our calling / mission. He also states grace is given in a specific
area and not general to cover all areas i.e. I may have lots of grace to
overcome a particular weakness very easily but in another weakness I may
little grace and may need to battle in that area. But God says even that
little grace is sufficient. It is here where it is written the strong
take by force. So we cannot say we will wait for the right time or wait
till grace increases. God says if we are under grace we have sufficient
grace and we need to overcome by force (spiritually) like increasing
faith/believing and walking in the promise.

Romans 12:3,6

3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among
you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to
think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of
faith.

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to
us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

If we look at just one topic 'grace' in Romans we see it crushes many
false belief on grace that exists in many Christians (I do not want to
list them here).

In today's message we see Paul specifies Gospel, preaching / teaching of
Jesus Christ and the mysteries of the Kingdom of God as separate items.
Jesus did speak on mysteries of the Kingdom of God but He touched only
the basics and He said the Helper He sends will reveal more of His
Kingdom (all that He holds).

So let us understand the Gospel (the good news of hope of salvation in
Jesus Christ) is the basic step and it allows us to stand before the
Kingdom of God and knock on its door. It is by our baptism in Christ and
His Spirit that we walk in through the door and enter the Kingdom of
God. Thus let us not be simple minds and be victims of vanity think by
standing at the door we are in the Kingdom.

[Prayer starter]

Lord, people think the Bible is simple and thus Christianity is simple.
They do not realize even though You were full of wisdom and of Spirit as
man Jesus yet You studied the Word and grew through in understanding
from a small child to an adult. We on the other hand who are not perfect
like You have been spending years and yet know very little of your Word.
Help us understand our limitation and not be victims of simplicity and
vanity...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]

Jeremiah 31:2Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the
sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause
him to rest.**

**

Psalms 1

1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor
standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he
meditate day and night.

3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither;
and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in
the congregation of the righteous.

6For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the
ungodly shall perish.

this is yesterday's message which I missed sending...
