RUMORS OF WAR: Top Australian general warns of ‘high likelihood’ of war with China, Iran makes new threat against America
(ETH) – A top Australian general has just warned that there is a ‘high likelihood of war with China, during a leaked briefing to troops. According to the report, Major-General Adam Findlay, who according to The Sun, has since stepped down from his post but still advises the Australian Defence Force, gave this recent confidential briefing to Australia’s special forces soldiers last year.
The Sydney Morning Herald, provided more details that General Findlay said China has already engaged in “grey zone” warfare and that Australia must prepare for the “high likelihood” that it could spill over into actual conflict, he said.

Egypt threatens Ethiopia with war over Nile River in what one Rabbi says has “End of Days” implications
(OPINION) ETH – War drums are now pounding in the Mideast regarding failed negotiations in the Congo over an Ethiopian dam in the Nile river leading to new threats from Egypt of war.

RUMORS OF WAR: China looks to be planning for war
(Fox News) – The head of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command told lawmakers this week that the U.S. is losing its edge over the Chinese military as the People’s Republic of China faces weakening international deterrence.

Testifying for the Senate Armed Services Committee Tuesday, Admiral Philip Davidson, head of Indo-Pacific command, warned against an increasing “imbalance” in the region brought on by China’s rapid military advance.

“The military balance in the Indo-Pacific is becoming more unfavorable for the United States and our allies,” Davidson said.

RUMORS OF WAR: Rockets fired in Iraq sparks fears of war
(Express) – The US Embassy in Baghdad has come under attack with rockets fired in Iraq’s capital, it has emerged this evening. At least three rockets targeted the building in the high-security green zone, which houses foreign embassies and is the seat of Iraq’s government.

One of the rockets, security sources told Associated Press, fell within the perimeters of the Embassy complex itself. A statement from the Iraq military said there were no casualties and that an investigation was ongoing.

All these Chinese moves are meant to obtain "biological dominance." "There are," as Ratcliffe noted, "no ethical boundaries to Beijing's pursuit of power."

The experiment evoked the eugenics program of the Third Reich to create a "master race."

WAR DRUMS: Iran’s top nuke scientist has just been assassinated…
(JP) – Head of Iran’s nuclear program Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, 59, was assassinated in Damavand, east of Tehran, local Iranian news reported on Friday. Iran later confirmed the reports. “The nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh was assassinated today by terrorists,” the Iranian Defense Ministry wrote in a statement, while not blaming any specific entity for the incident.

However, Iran’s foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif later stated on Twitter that “serious indication” pointed to Israeli involvement and urged the international community to condemn the attack.

(Worthy News) - The Pentagon has revealed that 11 U.S. service members received treatment for concussions from an Iranian missile strike on Jan. 8.

The New York Times reported on Monday that U.S. soldiers were treated for concussions after the attack. The Pentagon confirmed the report Thursday evening and said nearly a dozen troops were medevaced to Germany this week for treatment, according to Defense One.

Tehran launched ballistic missiles at two Iraqi military bases were U.S. soldiers were stationed on Jan. 8. There are believed to be 45 New Zealanders located at Camp Taji.

The attack comes after Iran launched missiles at two Iraqi military complexes last week.

Camp Taji was not the target in those attacks and no New Zealanders were injured.

For the entirety of his presidency, Donald Trump has used Dems’ natural tendency to oppose anything and everything he does against them to make them look foolish. But this time takes the cake.

By killing Iranian General Qassem Soleimani — one of the most feared terrorists in the world — Trump set the trap. Schiff could either admit that Trump did the right thing by killing the man who has murdered hundreds of U.S. soldiers, or defend the terrorist responsible for the deaths of more U.S. soldiers than any other person alive in this decade.

You guessed it: Schiff rushed to defend Soleimani.

Schiff went on CBS’ Face the Nation to tell viewers that Trump is, “fudging the intelligence.”

But he didn’t stop there. Schiff also attacked Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. “When Secretary Pompeo was on your show last week and made the claim that the intelligence analysis was that taking Soleimani out would improve our security and not- and leaving them in would make us less safe, that is also fudging. That’s not an intelligence conclusion. That is Pompeo’s personal opinion,” Schiff claimed.

Democrats are fools if they believe that defending a dead terrorist who murdered Americans is somehow going to help them in 2020. It isn’t.

BRENNAN: You are part of the Gang of Eight, so you’re part of that group that received the very classified briefing that the Defense Secretary was referring to. He said the intelligence was exquisite, and it was incredibly detailed. Do you quibble with his characterization of what you were told?

SCHIFF: I don’t quibble with it. I think it’s just plain wrong. There was no discussion in the Gang of Eight briefings that these are the four embassies that are being targeted and we have exquisite intelligence that shows these are the specific targets.

BRENNAN: What about U.S. embassy, Baghdad?

SCHIFF: It- it—

BRENNAN: He said that was specifically referenced.

SCHIFF: –Well, I don’t recall, frankly, in that briefing there being a specific discussion about bombing the U.S. embassy in Baghdad. The brief was much more along the lines, frankly, of something that Secretary Pompeo admitted the other day when he said that we don’t know precisely where and we don’t know precisely when. That was much more the nature of the briefing that we got. In the view of the briefers, there was plotting. There was a- an effort to escalate being planned, but they didn’t have specificity. And so when you hear the president out there on FOX, he is fudging the intelligence and when you hear the Secretary say, well, that wasn’t what the intelligence said, but that’s my personal belief, he is fudging. When Secretary Pompeo was on your show last week and made the claim that the intelligence analysis was that taking Soleimani out would improve our security and not- and leaving them in would make us less safe, that is also fudging. That’s not an intelligence conclusion. That is Pompeo’s personal opinion. Intelligence–

BRENNAN: Is that a polite way of saying they’re lying?

SCHIFF: Well, you know, you could certainly put it that way. But frankly, I think what they are doing is they are overstating and exaggerating what the intelligence shows. And when you’re talking about justifying acts that might bring us into warfare with Iran, that’s a dangerous thing to do.

BRENNAN: But to be fair, because you are the Intel Committee chairman, you know, the Intel Committee often or- the Intelligence Committee works in assessments, in judgments, in putting together mosaic pieces of information to come to a conclusion. When Esper is working in beliefs and projections, isn’t that just how it works? Impossibilities and not necessarily always having one conclusive piece of the exact place and time?

SCHIFF: Well, that’s exactly right. But that- that means that you need to be very clear about what you’re saying the intelligence shows and what it doesn’t. If we were to ask the intelligence agencies, will taking Soleimani out make us safer or less safe? They would say to us, Congressman, that’s a policy judgment that the policy makers need to make. What we can tell you is if you take him out, here are the likely repercussions. Those repercussions that we were briefed about were far more dangerous to this country than anything that Soleimani was plotting, as far as I can tell. And so when you’re talking about taking out a top government official of another nation, an act that might bring us into outright warfare, the burden of imminence, of showing imminence with very great specifics, I think is very high.

VP Pence: Soleimani was preparing attacks against the U.S.

Vice President Mike Pence confirmed what we had suspected: Qasem Soleimani was preparing imminent attacks against the United States when he was ordered killed by President Donald Trump.
This will come as sad news to Democrats, who have often questioned the Trump administration’s goals, even on national security matters, in hopes that they can win the next election.

Pence confirmed that the era when the United States stands idly by as Iran attacks us and our allies is over. There is now a price to be paid for being an anti-American terrorist who murders American soldiers.

Pence explained why not all of the intelligence about Soleimani had been revealed in an interview with NBC’s Savannah Guthrie.

“Some of that has to do with what’s called sources and methods, Savannah, that … if we were to share all of the intelligence, and in fact, some of the most compelling evidence that Qasem Soleimani was preparing an imminent attack against American forces and American personnel also represents some of the most sensitive intelligence that we have. It could compromise those sources and methods,” Pence said.

However, Pence sought to reassure viewers. “I can assure your viewers that those of us that have seen all the evidence, that saw the evidence in realtime know that President Trump made the right decision to take Qasem Soleimani off the battlefield. America is safer, the world is safer. Now, even after the Iranian response, no American casualties and Iran is standing down,” Pence continued.

Pence has a great point: the Iranians, realizing they would have been decimated in any war with the United States, appear to have intentionally not killed any Americans in “retaliatory” missile strikes.
