First lady Melania Trump delivered a Memorial Day message via social media on Monday reminding Americans “freedom isn’t free.”

“On #MemorialDay we honor the many Americans who laid down their lives for our great country. As one nation under God, we come together to remember that freedom isn’t free,” Trump tweeted.
“Thank you to all the service members & their families who sacrifice so much to keep us safe.”

The world is starting to wonder if something far more serious is wrong with Melania Trump.

Four days after her emergency kidney surgery, Melania Trump remains hospitalized.

Normal?
While we were originally led to believe this was a routine procedure, some pundits are now spinning a new tale.

After the procedure had been completed, it appeared the First Lady was going to stay a few extra days just to recover in peace and quiet.

However, most expected her to be headed home by Friday.

When Friday passed, and Melania was still at Walter Reed, the internet started to buzz again.

Every media outlet around started to call in experts to see if something more was wrong with FLOTUS.

Dr. Jeffrey Barnes stated, “It would really depend on how much of the kidney tissue they were treating with this operation.”

Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (vice chairman of urology) Dr. Mohamad Allaf also chimed in.

He stated Melania’s stay was “somewhat atypical, but not out of the question.”

Dr. Allaf got everyone’s ears up with his next comment, though.

“Certainly, staying a little longer may imply that this is a little bit more of a complex situation,” Allaf added.

With every move Melania makes being dissected by the press these days, hopefully she is just taking a few extra days to rest.

President Donald Trump dropped everything Tuesday afternoon, rushing to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to be with the first lady as she recovers from a surgery “to treat a benign kidney condition.”

After honoring fallen police officers at the National Peace Officers’ Memorial Service with a speech at the U.S. Capitol West Front, the president cleared his itinerary and took Marine One on a ten-minute flight to the hospital in Bethesda, Maryland to be with his wife.

In sickness and in health
First Lady Melania Trump was hospitalized on Monday to treat a kidney condition. The 48-year-old mother underwent an “embolization procedure,” and the first lady’s communications director, Stephanie Grisham, assured supporters that the “procedure was successful and there were no complications.”

Designed to shrink a mass or cut off the blood supply to a tumor or aneurysm that may be growing in the kidney or liver, an embolization surgery is a quick and non-invasive procedure. Mrs. Trump’s growth was benign, meaning that it was non-cancerous and would not spread to other parts of her body if left untreated.

Before departing for the hospital at around 4:00 p.m., Trump provided updates regarding his wife’s health at the police memorial. He opened up his speech by immediately addressing the first lady’s recovery:

I want to start by saying that Melania is in the hospital doing really well. She’s watching us right now. And I want to thank the incredible doctors — Walter Reed Medical Center. They did a fantastic job. So thank you. (Applause.) And she sends her love.

Complications from surgery?
However, Trump’s return trip to the medical facility was an unplanned visit, fueling speculation that the first lady’s extended stay was an unexpected development for doctors.

Dr. John Friedewald, medical director of kidney and pancreas transplantation at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, told Women’s Health that embolization procedures are “generally well tolerated,” and lingering side effects normally only include fever, pain and injection site bleeding.

Most patients who undergo the same surgery as Mrs. Trump are sent home after just a couple of hours, perhaps explaining the urgency behind the president’s follow-on visit.  A patient education page from Northwestern Medicine explains what a typical post-operative recovery may look like:

Typically, you will remain in recovery for one to two hours. Your vital signs will be checked one last time, and you will be asked to walk a short distance with a nurse. If you feel well enough to go home, a nurse will remove your IV and you will change and be discharged for home.

Northwestern Medicine also includes scenarios in which the patient should contact their doctor, providing some clues regarding what can go wrong during an embolization procedure. These signs and symptoms include fever, cramping in the abdomen, “severe, persistent nausea or vomiting,” and redness or bleeding around the injection site.

Did Melania Trump suffer from any of these unexpected side effects following her impromptu surgery this week? Based on the president’s concerned response, she may be experiencing complications from the relatively minor surgery.

Fortunately, Melania Trump not only has the president by her side — she also has the support of an entire nation who are wishing her a swift recovery.

Melania Trump is recovering from surgery and will be home in “2 or 3 days,” President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday.

The first lady was hospitalized this week for surgery to treat a “benign” kidney condition.

Trump: Melania leaving hospital soon
President Trump gave the update after visiting his wife at Walter Reed hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, for an hour on Monday night. Trump visited her again early Tuesday evening.

“Our great First Lady is doing really well. Will be leaving hospital in 2 or 3 days. Thank you for so much love and support!” he tweeted Tuesday morning.

He gave updates throughout the day Tuesday, re-iterating to reporters on his way to lunch with Republican Senators that she was doing “really well.” He also addressed her condition at an event honoring fallen cops on Capitol Hill.

“I want to start by saying that Melania is in the hospital doing really well. She’s watching us right now. I want to thank the incredible doctors. Walter Reed Medical Center. They did a fantastic job. So thank you and she sends her love,” he told the crowd.

He spoke to Melania on the phone before the procedure Monday, and again on Tuesday.

Trump had tweeted Monday night that he was visiting Melania and that she was in “good spirits.” Her communications director Stephanie Grisham said she was “doing well.”

Successful surgery
Melania’s office said Monday afternoon that she was admitted to the hospital after being treated for a “benign” kidney condition. Her office said that the surgery was successful and that she was expected to spend the rest of the week in the hospital.

The procedure used a minimally invasive technique called embolization, which blocks blood flow. According to two urologists not familiar with Melania’s condition, she may have a kind of benign tumor called an angiomyolipoma.

These kinds of growths are supposedly benign, but can cause bleeding if they get too big. Doctors shrink them by cutting off the blood supply with a catheter. While rare, they’re most common in middle-aged women. Melania is 48.

Melania eager to get back to work
Grisham said that Melania was eager to recover so she can resume her work at the White House. Melania had announced her official East Wing project, “Be Best,” in a speech at the White House Rose Garden last week. The initiative aims to fight cyberbullying and opioid abuse and encourage children’s emotional well-being. Melania had hinted at efforts to fight cyberbullying and promote children’s welfare during the first sixteen months of her tenure, but did not lay out an official platform until last week.

“The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere,” her office said.

The entire country got a huge scare this week when our First Lady was rushed to the hospital for a medical emergency.

Now that she is recovering, Melania Trump’s spokesperson has requested “personal privacy” so FLOTUS can rest and recuperate from the ordeal.

Did She Really Have to Ask?
The mainstream media has been all over Melania Trump virtually from day one.

During the campaign, they were taking shots at her over her modeling career.

After Trump became president, they did everything they could to embarrass her.

When she accompanied Trump on his site visits for hurricane victims, they focused on her shoes rather than the work she was doing.

Now, after having kidney surgery, the mainstream media still wants a piece of her, but her communications department shut them right now.

Since there is virtually no shot of her getting privacy at the White House, the First Lady is staying at the hospital for roughly a week while she recovers.

The Media Won’t Stop
Rather than respecting her wishes, the media continue to attack the First Lady.

One network challenged how long Melania would be in the hospital, insinuating she should have already been released.

Stephanie Grisham shot them right down.

“The First Lady is in good spirits and she is resting. There are HIPAA laws to consider, but she also deserves personal privacy,” Grisham stated.

Success
While most of us were concerned when we saw the initial reports, the First Lady came through the procedure with flying colors.

A statement was released by the White House after the procedure was performed that there were “no complications” during the surgery and there should be no danger moving forward for Melania.

Some rather disconcerting news was shared by President Donald Trump about his lovely first lady Melania Trump on Monday that had supporters quickly offering up their prayers of support.

It was revealed that the first lady was admitted to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in order to undergo surgery for a benign kidney condition.

According to Fox News, the first lady underwent an embolization procedure on Monday to deal with an unspecified condition involving one of her kidneys.

That particular procedure involves surgically cutting off the blood supply to an abnormal growth, aneurysm, or tumor growing in the kidneys or liver.

It is unclear if the growth was a tumor or merely a cyst, but it was reported to be benign and non-cancerous with little to no risk of spreading to other parts of her body.

“This morning, First Lady Melania Trump underwent an embolization procedure to treat a benign kidney condition. The procedure was successful and there were no complications,” stated Stephanie Grisham, communications director for the first lady.

“Mrs. Trump is at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and will likely remain there for the duration of the week. The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere,” Grisham added.

Breitbart News asked the first lady’s Communications Director Stephanie Grisham to confirm reports that “President Trump spoke with his wife this morning and that the President is going to Walter Reed medical center to visit her shortly.” She did, replying “yes.”

***Update***

The President boarded Marine One for a short flight to Walter Reed medical center, where he touched down at 5:18 pm. He is visiting the first lady, who White House staff confirmed is in good spirits and in recovery. At the time of this report it was unclear how long the President will be at the medical facility with his wife.

Trump spent over an hour visiting with wife Melania before returning to the White House by motorcade. He did not travel back to the White House on Marine One due to weather conditions. The President was back at the White House by 7 pm and as heavy rain fell.

It looks like America is finally warming up to Melania Trump.

The first lady’s approval ratings have surged over the first few months of 2018, leaping from 47 percent favorable in January to a whopping 57 percent, according to a new CNN poll. This rise coincides with her husband’s similarly warming approval ratings.

Melania’s popularity surges
Support for the first lady has gone up significantly in the first half of 2018 among Democrats in particular; her approval rating from Dems has climbed 15 points since January. Nevertheless, 40 percent of Democrats still disapprove of her, while slightly less — 38 percent — approve, according to CNN’s poll.

Melania Trump has also narrowed the gender gap in her ratings, as 13 percent more women report approving of her than in January. The majority of women — 54 percent — now approve of Melania, and just 30 percent dislike her.

Meanwhile, 60 percent of men approve of Melania, according to CNN, 7 percent more than did in January. Melania Trump posted gains among Republicans, as well, with a 6 percent rise since the beginning of this year to a current 85 percent approval.

The poll, which was conducted from May 2 through May 5, surveyed 1,015 respondents, and represents the first lady’s highest approval ratings since she began her tenure. Her previous record was hit in march, when 52 percent viewed her favorably and 32 percent viewed her unfavorably.

Mrs. Trump’s rising approval comes as she is making a name for herself as an independent force at the White House. The first lady unveiled her official East Wing platform to improve overall children’s well-being and fight cyber-bullying, “Be Best,” at her first speech in the White House Rose Garden on Monday afternoon.

She also notably planned every detail of a White House formal dinner in April in honor of French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte.

CNN speculated in reporting their new poll that a “sympathy factor” may explain the first lady’s rising approval ratings, as well, however; Trump found herself in the cross-hairs of scandal earlier this year when an alleged affair between her husband and adult film star Stormy Daniels blew up.

Hillary Clinton’s poll numbers similarly rose after the Monica Lewinsky scandal went public, though Clinton’s husbands ratings dropped during that time; President Donald Trump has not experienced similar plummeting numbers.

Still, Melania Trump’s numbers trail those of previous first ladies at similar times during their tenures, according to CNN; a September 2010 poll gave Michelle Obama 62 percent favorability, while a May 2002 poll showed Laura Bush was viewed favorably by 67 percent. But it is possible that Mrs. Trump’s numbers aren’t quite as high because of those who merely dislike her because of her husband, who receives mostly negative press coverage.

Nonetheless, it looks like things are finally coming together for Melania — and it’s about time.

What is that saying… it’s all in the details.

While the mainstream media ignores the brilliance of our First Lady, the fact that she planned a dinner with the French President and 
his wife at Mt. Vernon did not go unnoticed by conservatives.
The Significance

Mt. Vernon is the location of General and President George Washington’s home.
This is of significance due to the ties Washington and our country had with France when our forefathers were fighting for independence.

France played a major role in assisting Washington and the Continental Army against the Red Coats.

At Washington’s home, there are quite a few gifts from Marquis de Lafayette, who served as both an advisor and friend to Washington, as well as numerous other French dignitaries.

Melania Trump is apparently quite the history buff and rightfully assumed President Macron would appreciate seeing that little bit of history during his visit to the United States.

A Thoughtful Gift
President Macron also came bearing gifts on his visit.

But, this was not some random trinket, but rather something of significant historical significance to America.

The French president brought an oak sapling tree to be planted on the grounds of the White House.

The tree was taken from one of the most monumental battle grounds in World War I, the Ardennes Forest, where the Battle of Belleau Wood was fought.

This is remembered as one of the last great assaults by the Germans, which was fought off by French troops with the assistance of a U.S. Marines brigade as well as the 2nd and 3rd Divisions of the U.S. Army.

After more than two weeks of fighting, Major Maurice E. Shearer, the commander of the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marines submitted a report announcing victory, writing “Woods now U.S. Marine Corps entirely.”

It is arguably the most famous battleground report given by any U.S. military officer.

Shearer would eventually retire with the rank of Colonel but was promoted to Brigadier General in retirement for his combat service.

When it comes to event planning, Melania Trump apparently is head and shoulders, both literally and figuratively, over Michelle Obama.

Whereas Michelle’s first state dinner was a gaudy event for about 300 people, Melania preferred a more intimate setting with no more than 150 guests.

Better Experience
Having dinner with the President of the United States, regardless of whom you are, is a very big deal.

Sadly, though, at most of these events, there are so many people there it is hard for anyone to get to spend any “quality” time with the president.

That was not the case at the State Dinner hosted for the French president, though.

Our First Lady specifically kept the guest list limited so everyone could enjoy the experience, not just the French president and his wife

FLOTUS’ communications director, Stephanie Grisham, stated, “She has been very focused on the experience of the guests and wants to ensure they are able to truly enjoy and remember the occasion.”

“When you are invited to a dinner at the White House, it is very special to be able to sit in the State Dining Room. After all, this is the People’s House, which is rich with history and tradition,” she continued.

Let’s not also forget the costs associate with an event such as this.

The Obama event had 300 or so guests and booked Jennifer Hudson to sing at the dinner.

Imagine the price tag of that event compared to the Trump State Dinner!

Selective Guest List
It is no secret these events were used by the Obamas so they could rub elbows with the rich and famous.

Michelle and Barack had an A-List of guests that were seen at virtually every major event held at the White House.

Trump is far less focused on impressing celebrities than he is on getting this country back on track.

The media has been giving the First Lady a hard time as of late, but she just put them all to shame.

Not only did she organize the State Dinner with France, but Melania also stole the show when she showed up in a dazzling silver gown.

The Dinner
Melania did not take her duties lightly.

When the visit was first arranged, the First Lady immediately got to work organizing everything to ensure the dinner would go off flawlessly.

The president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and his wife, Brigitte Marcon, appeared to be more than impressed by the effort put forward by Melania to pull this event off.

In fact, she was so impressive, even liberal media outlets had to give her some props.

The New York Times told readers Melania gave everyone “something to chew on.”

The Dress
From the moment Melania Trump first appeared, jaws were dropping all over Washington D.C.

Her silver Chanel dress was more than just a fashion statement.

One of the idiosyncracies of these dinners is to make sure you do not offend the visitor.

Chanel has long been a staple of French Fashion, so she could not have made a more perfect selection for her wardrobe.

The collection from which this dress was chosen was also a statement of sorts.

Fashion magazines noticed the dress came from the Chanel spring couture collection.

The inspiration for the dress appears to be a pantsuit from the collection.

The liberal-slanted mainstream media has never given Melania her due and Kellyanne Conway has had about enough of it.

When questioned by a reporter about the lack of positive stories and “covers,” Conway stated, “Melania Trump is such a superior and excellent First Lady.”

Conway continued, “I don’t think she needs to be on the cover of a magazine for everyone to see how wonderful her work is.”

Never Positive
The media has gone out of its way to portray Melania in a negative light.

When she made hurricane relief trips, the media concentrated on her shoes.

She has held numerous “summits” at the White House with children, and the meetings barely made a blip on the radar.

She regularly visits schools and holds reading sessions with the children.

But, to listen to the media, she hides in the White House and never shows her race.

Taunting
The media has been dying to get her to chime in about the sleazy affair rumors, but she has taken the high road since day one.

Not only that, but she has remained by the President’s side showing support the entire time.

The media celebrated Michelle Obama and bent over backwards to portray her in a positive light.

The complete opposite is true of Melania.

Through it all, though, Melania just keeps plugging along, showing nothing but class and dignity.

First Lady Melania Trump went to Houston, TX on Saturday to attend the funeral of former First Lady Barbara Bush. But though President Donald Trump was not able to join his wife, she did not go alone.

Mrs. Trump reportedly brought with her two White House staff members she knew to be close to the Bush family.

A classy move
Former White House head maitre d’ George Hainey and current White House usher Buddy Carter were the two guests that the first lady invited to Barbara Bush’s funeral yesterday.

“She knew they were very close to the Bush family and wanted them to be able to pay their respects,” spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said of the decision. Both Hainey and Carter worked under Mrs. Bush during her time at the White House.

Also among the 1500 hundred guests that attended the private event were former Presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama. At one point, Mrs. Trump shared a laugh with the latter, which predictably has led to a slew of baseless rumors.

The first family pays their respects
President Trump was not in attendance, however. According to a statement on the matter, the president stayed home “to avoid disruptions due to added security, and out of respect for the Bush Family and Friends attending the Service, President Trump will not attend.”

However, the president did watch from his Mar-A-Lago resort in Florida, and even offered the following tribute:


After the service, Mrs. Trump posted a picture of the same portrait with the caption: “What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful woman who lived for God, family and country.”

The first lady followed this up with a message saying that it was her “honor” to attend the funeral and offering her thoughts and prayers to the Bush Family. She wrote:

Barbara Bush died on Tuesday night at the age of 92. In the year leading up to her death, she had been hospitalized on multiple occasions before recently deciding to forego further treatment.

First ladies acting like first ladies
Those familiar with the feud between President Trump and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush know that there is no love lost between the Trump and Bush families. Barbara Bush herself once said in a CBS interview stating that she didn’t know how “women can vote for someone who said what [President Trump] said about Megyn Kelly.”

But the relationship between the first ladies of these eminent families has been quite different, and that seems to be thanks to Melania Trump, who has tried her best to reconcile the situation. Her efforts have been somewhat successful, earning the respect of Laura Bush, wife of former President George W. Bush, who has called Mrs. Trump “a beautiful woman, and very very lovely,” and said that she is doing a “lovely job.”

The praise between current and former first ladies continued on Saturday. Following the funeral, Melania Trump praised Barbara Bush as “a woman of indisputable character and grace.”

Melania Trump’s actions continue to demonstrate that these attributes — character and grace — are just as readily ascribable to her.

Garnering over 120,000 engagements in a matter of days, a photo of Melania Trump is blazing through cyberspace, accompanied by a message asking Americans to share the image as a show of support to the embattled first lady.

The viral Facebook post is a response to an attack from the eponymous host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, who mocked Mrs. Trump’s accent during a recent screening of his late-night show.

A Facebook page known as Conservative Comedy Today posted a complimentary image of the first lady standing confidently with crossed arms and smoldering eyes on Thursday. A reverse image search indicates that the photo is the official White House portrait of Melania Trump, first published in April 2017.

The Facebook fan page cited Kimmel’s “disgusting attack” and asked supporters to circulate the image as a symbol of solidarity with Trump — and they did not disappoint. The image was shared nearly 60,000 times as of Sunday, and earned over 100,000 comments.

The post came in response to Monday’s demeaning roast of the first lady by late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, who made fun of the Slovenian-American’s eastern-European accent, which she showed when she read to children during an Easter celebration at the White House.

“Dees and dat,” Kimmel cruelly joked of Trump’s pronunciation of “this and that.” He then told his Hispanic co-host Guillermo Rodriguez that he, too, could be first lady — presumably because of his command of the English language.

The massive number of social media users who responded to Conservative Comedy Today’s post is an irrefutable measure of the outrage felt by Americans following the unprovoked jab. With nearly 100,000 post likes on a relatively small Facebook page, Kimmel may want to start drafting a statement of apology before the weekend is over.

In addition to this symbolic gesture, an online petition was recently launched asking viewers to boycott Kimmel’s show. The request quickly surpassed a goal of 50,000 signatures, which “will be sent to the front door of Disney/ABC studios” in Burbank, California.

“We may not get him kicked off the air,” the petition reads. “But we can send a message that these attacks on our First Lady will NOT be tolerated!”

Kimmel may want to pick his fights more carefully in the future. The first lady speaks five languages, and her approval rating has hovered consistently at above 50 percent since she moved into the White House last summer.

Meanwhile, Kimmel’s show sits in third place behind late-night competitors Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, and he has barely mastered speaking his native language.

The late-night host-turned-political activist mocked Melania Trump’s accent Monday night and poked fun at the White House Easter egg roll, which she organized and hosted. These liberal “comedians” need to get some new material.

Kimmel dedicated a whole segment of “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to trashing Melania on Monday night, showing that he, like many other liberals, has a bizarre obsession with the Trump family. The president thanked Melania earlier that day for hosting the holiday event: “I want to really thank the first lady, Melania, who has really done an incredible job,” President Trump said Monday. “She worked so hard on this event, so I want to thank you.”

The article in question was published on Hollywood Life by Robyn Merrett and touted as an “exclusive article,” yet it was nothing more than pure speculation on the writer’s part.

The unnamed source went on to claim Melania was using the announcement of the divorce by Vanessa and Donald Trump, Jr. to test the waters for her own divorce.

However, while this unnamed source tells one story, Melania’s public behavior tells quite a different picture…

From working to resolve the nation’s opioid crisis to visiting needy children on the holidays to entertaining heads of state, First Lady Melania Trump takes her role seriously — and according to her husband, the position isn’t an easy one.

President Donald Trump told rally-goers in Pennsylvania on Saturday that his wife is a “great first lady. She’s great.” But according to the president, her life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. 

“Great first lady. She’s great,” the president said of his wife. “You think her life is so easy, folks? Not so easy.”

The First Lady Works on Addiction
Melania Trump spoke at the White House Opioids Summit earlier this month with a message that falls right in line with her previous work in prioritizing family values. She told listeners that those working to resolve the nation’s drug crisis should focus on young addicted mothers.

She also noted that while she was proud of what has been accomplished so far, “We all know there is still much work to be done.”

And President Trump seems to agree. He praised her work on Saturday, but pointed out that the committee, which includes Melania, still has much to discuss.

“We put Melania and other people on this blue ribbon committee,” the president told rally-goers. He continued:

Do you think the drug dealers that kill thousands of people during their lifetime, do you think they care who is on a blue ribbon committee? The only way to solve the drug problem is through toughness. When you catch a drug dealer, you’ve got to put him away for a long time.

President Trump framed his statement about his wife’s life being “not so easy” around her work on the blue ribbon committee, but celebrity gossipers don’t think it’s just her work with the opioid crisis that is causing the first lady stress.

Tensions in the White House?
The president made no mention of his personal relationship with the first lady on Saturday, though many media outlets have argued that their relationship is strained in light of recent allegations that the president was involved with an adult film star shortly after the birth of the couple’s son, Barron.
Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has alleged that she had an affair with Trump over a decade ago. The actress says she signed a non-disclosure agreement and received over $100,000 as hush money to keep quiet about the affair.
Daniels has filed a lawsuit against the president, saying that the agreement is null and void since Donald Trump himself did not sign it.

First lady Melania Trump is taking her pledge to fight against bullying seriously and taking it straight to the source.

The first lady announced that she will be meeting with executives at Facebook, Google and others to combat the epidemic of cyberbullying.

A New Age.
When many of us were kids, bullying happened on the school playground or on the walk home from school.

A bully, or bullies, would pick on someone for their clothes, the way they look or whatever reason they could find to torment another youngster.

But when that student got home they found a reprieve from the torment. They did not have to deal with the bullying after school, on weekends, during holiday breaks or the summer.

But in 2018 the world of bullying is omnipresent in the world of kids and teens, giving them no chance of escape.

And that 24/7 type of harassment has led too many kids to believe that suicide was the only way out.

Tech Giants Hold The Key.
The first lady is scheduled to meet with executives from Snapchat, Amazon, Facebook, Google and Twitter next week to discuss ways to fight against online harassment and cyberbullying, The Washington Post reported.

Trump plans to ask the executives what steps they have taken to combat online trolls and malicious content, according to a source who spoke to The Post on the condition of anonymity as they were not authorized to speak on the first lady’s behalf.

A spokeswoman for Melania Trump said that the first lady had “simply asked for a meeting to discuss one of the many things that impacts children,” but did not give any more details.

In November 2016 during her first appearance campaigning for her husband, Trump said she was going to focus her tenure as first lady at fighting bullying.

In a demonstration of the shallow contempt for which many liberals hold against America’s First Lady, an Inquisitr article contends that Melania Trump’s intent to raise her son without the help of a full-time nanny is an indication of her “wealth, power, and privilege.”
 
Columnist Aaron Homer is so desperate to smear the First Lady that he crucifies her for wanting to be a full-time mother, fashioning an unprovoked hit-piece out of Melania’s most endearing quality — her commitment to motherhood.
 
Unmitigated mudslinging
Apparently, raising a child without the help of a live-in caregiver has become the latest craze among the bourgeois elite. Who knew that First Lady Trump was so obsessed with fitting in with the same Hollywood power couples that so adamantly abhor her husband’s administration? Homer writes:
 
The First Lady has repeatedly claimed that like so many women of wealth, power, and privilege have been doing lately, she is and always has been a parent who raises her children herself, rather than hiring nannies to do the heavy lifting for her.
 
Not only is Melania a trend-chasing mother, argues Homer, but the Slovenian-American parent to 11-year-old Barron is deceiving Americans by claiming to go without a professional caregiver. His evidence? Homer quotes the president’s answer to a question regarding his son’s upbringing, when he told reporters, “Yes, there is a young woman, someone who works with Barron.”
 
Of course, the Trump family has a babysitter to watch after their adolescent son when they are away on pressing matters of national importance. If the leader of the free world and the nation’s First Lady did not schedule regular supervision for their child during the rare moments when they are both absent, then their neglect would have caused even more vicious criticism.
 
But when there’s nothing worth criticizing, they have to make something up. Inquisitr really is an appropriate name for the publication.
 
Parenting 101
Melania is not motivated by some flawed desire to turn her motherhood into a status symbol. For the first months of her husband’s presidency, and against a noisy backdrop of lurid accusations that she was somehow avoiding her civic duty as the First Lady, Melania chose to remain in New York so that Barron could finish up a semester of schooling.
 
The First Lady eschewed the limelight of the Oval Office to avoid unnecessarily disrupting her son’s routine. Meanwhile, publications like the New York Post took advantage of Melania’s desire to raise Barron under relatively normal circumstances by arguing that she “never wanted” to be the First Lady.
 
The Trumps’ parenting philosophy was not born out of a desire to comply with some silly fad, either. When Barron was just nine and Donald Trump declared his bid for the presidency, the then-69-year-old father of five explained:
 
We keep [nannying] down to a minimum. If you have too much help, you don’t get to know your children. I’ve always prided myself on being a good father.
 
This isn’t a popularity contest for the Trumps — the desire to independently raise their youngest son is due to a genuine concern for his upbringing. In an interview with People Magazine, Melania revealed how this parenting strategy pre-dated their time in the White House.
 
“Barron is 9 years old,” explained Melania in 2015. “He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time. As you know my husband is traveling all the time.”
 
The perpetually disgruntled left
This is certainly an admirable desire of the First Lady’s, especially since hiring outside help would have been perfectly acceptable for a family with as many major responsibilities as the Trumps. Yet, the partisanship motivating Homer’s unwarranted critique becomes explicitly clear when he writes, “If Barack and Michelle Obama had nannies for Sasha and Malia while the girls lived in the White House, they managed to keep it a secret during and since the Obama administration.”
 
To the perpetually disgruntled left, the Trumps will never fill the “unblemished” shoes of the Obama family, in both politics and parenting. While Melania pretends to be a mother to Barron, Homer argues, Michelle set the standard for perfect parenting. Surely, their nine-year-old and 11-year-old daughters received some degree of professional caregiving while Barack and Michelle were away — the distinction is that conservative media generally didn’t care to investigate such inane stories to excoriate the former-First Lady.
 
Ultimately, Homer builds his entire anti-Trump narrative upon a faulty premise. Just who are these wealthy elites choosing to do without the live-in nanny? Popular parenting magazines have recently reported the opposite trend among the super-rich, with families hiring two-nanny caregiving teams and complaining that “there just aren’t enough ‘good’ nannies” to go around.
 
If the Left feels the need to attack the First Lady without merit, they should probably avoid personality traits that demonstrate Melania’s concern for her family. Her love of children and natural motherly instincts are obvious to anyone who observes the First Lady in the presence of children.
 
Publications like Inquisitr only succeed in debasing themselves with their crass mud-slinging.

The comment that President Donald Trump is alleged to have made this week regarding third world countries like Haiti, El Salvador, and African nations have dominated the news cycle. Media pundits have fallen all over themselves trying to use the comment — which Trump may not have even said — as proof of his status as a “super-villain.”

One talking head, however, decided he needed to go a bit further and insult an entire country, just to take a shot at the president. Van Jones, former Barack Obama administration “green jobs czar” and sycophant, said on CNN that Slovenia, Melania Trump’s native country, is “not exactly the jewel of Europe.”

Really, Van?
Jones’ comment was made while appearing on a panel hosted by CNN’s Anderson Cooper, who got his own insult in by asking Jones, “I mean, should this come as a surprise to people?”

Cooper’s question insinuated that of course Trump would say something like that, and Jones was all too happy to take the ball and run with it.

“Well, I mean it’s not only racist, it’s only just inaccurate,” Jones said, going off on a tangent about college graduation rates in various countries.

Next, however, he managed to decry “horrible stereotypes” while using one himself:

Part of the thing is that when you’re relying on just horrible stereotypes — by the way, Melania Trump, our first lady who I admire greatly, is from Slovenia, not exactly the jewel of Europe. Slovenia. But she’s welcome here and Nigerians are not.

Trying to defend one country by insulting an entirely different one? Not a good look, Van Jones.

Jones Has a History
It’s not the first time Jones has said something stupid; in fact, he is well known for being “not exactly the jewel” of intelligent thought.

Last October, Jones gushed over former president Barack Obama, saying “I love him” over and over to the point of embarrassment.

He was forced to resign from his “green jobs” post in the Obama administration amidst controversy; not only did he openly support convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal, he called Republicans “a**holes;” GOP lawmakers also pointed out that Jones’ appointment was proof Obama was using czar positions to get out of the confirmation process.

Immediately following the presidential election, Jones even ran a public relations firm called Megaphone Strategies, that attempted to influence Electoral College electors to not cast their vote for Trump on Dec. 19, 2016.

Even The Hill pointed out the conflict of interest inherent in Jones sitting on CNN trashing the incoming president while actively representing two electoral defectors, calling for a disclaimer on each segment featuring Jones that alerted viewers to the conflict of interest.

The president and first lady have not responded to Jones’ comments.

Melania Trump is hiring a policy director to shape her platform as First Lady.

Trump’s office announced the new hire on Thursday. The First Lady also filled the roles of director of operations and communications coordinator.

First Lady expands staff
Reagan Thompson, a former staffer for the National Security Council, will lead the First Lady’s policy initiatives. She formerly served as communications adviser to Rep. Mike Pompeo, who is now CIA director.

“Reagan’s experience with various statewide and national campaigns will be a big asset as the first lady and her team prepare to roll out her official platform in the coming months,” Stephanie Grisham, Trump’s spokeswoman, told the New York Times.

Melania Trump also hired Justin Caporale to serve as director of operations, and Annie LeHardy to assist with press relations as communications coordinator. The new hires constitute one of the biggest expansions to the East Wing so far.

Caporale will manage daily logistics in the East Wing, focusing on events, and planning the First Lady’s travel. LeHardy will assist Director of Communications Stephanie Grisham with press outreach.

Caporale previously worked in the White House Office of Advance. Le Hardy previously worked as a White House press assistant.

“I am very excited to add these quality professionals to my already stellar team,” Trump said in a statement. “I am confident they will enhance my work on behalf of children everywhere, while helping me further expand my role as First Lady of the United States.”

Throughout her first year as First Lady, Melania Trump has been the butt of endless jokes. Liberals spent the past year mocking Trump’s accent, questioning her intelligence, and otherwise making her out to be miserable and desperate in the White House, which they likened to a prison.

The new hires come amid fresh attacks on the First Lady in a new gossip book, Fire & Fury: Inside the White House. The author, Michael Wolff claims that Melania didn’t want her husband to win the election and cried when she realized he would become president.

The First Lady’s office denied the claims, saying that Melania was confident her husband would win and was excited when he succeeded.

With this staff expansion, it looks like Melania — in sharp contrast to the reluctant, solitary figure conjured up by the liberal press — is serious about her job and has no regrets about her position.

President Trump is well-known for his blunt tweets and posts; many who take a shot at him on social media find themselves the target instead. In most cases, First Lady Melania Trump takes the high road, responding to her detractors with grace, if at all. But new allegations that Melania didn’t want Trump to win the election elicited a swift rebuttal from the First Lady.

After the New Yorker published an excerpt of a new book critical of Trump and Melania, the First Lady’s spokeswoman quipped in a statement that the book is “clearly going to be sold in the bargain fiction section.”

Taking Aim at the Trump Presidency
As one of the most polarizing figures of the 21st century, Trump’s has been the target of constant derision from the Left. Lately, however, one of his own former advisors is telling stories that paint the President as a man with a “Twinkle in his eye, larceny in his soul.”

Michael Wolff, author of the new book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, relied heavily on quotes from Steve Bannon, former campaign official and short-lived chief of staff.

According to the details provided by Bannon, Wolff depicted the Trump family as “horrified” at the President’s unexpected win.

Wolff claims that the plan was never to actually win, just to reap the martyrdom benefits of being beaten by an evil and corrupt Hillary Clinton.

Trump lashed out at Bannon on Wednesday, pointing out that the former Breitbart editor came on board late, after Trump had already won the nomination.

In a statement, President Trump said:

Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind…Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn’t as easy as I make it look.

First Lady Strikes Back
Melania was not spared Wolff’s poison pen either. The author claimed that Melania was “in tears – and not of joy” at the news that her husband had won the presidency.

According to Wolff, Melania would have preferred to “go on inconspicuously lunching” in the wake of an election loss.

Melania denies the story. Wolff’s book “is clearly going to be sold in the bargain fiction section,” said Melania’s spokesperson, communications director Stephanie Grisham.

“Mrs. Trump supported her husband’s decision to run for President and in fact, encouraged him to do so. She was confident he would win and was very happy when he did.”

With all the fake news in the last year, why should anyone believe that this latest round of allegations has any merit?

A senior Palestinian official slammed the Knesset’s vote on a bill that seeks to keep Jerusalem unified, as well as a Likud party resolution declaring Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria, blaming the moves on US policy.
Saeb Erekat, the chief Palestinian negotiator, said Tuesday that these moves are the result of President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and “part of new US-Israeli collaboration to dictate a solution and destroy the two-state principle.”
Erekat, Secretary General of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee, told the official Voice of Palestine radio that Palestinian Authority (PA) head Mahmoud Abbas has outlined the Palestinian strategy to “face these acts that seek to liquidate the Palestinian cause.”
Several steps are required, Erekat said, the most important of which is ending the division between the various Palestinian factions. A recent attempt at reconciliation between Abbas’ Fatah and Hamas has so far failed.

Americans have come to adore First Lady Melania Trump, and part of the reason for her rising popularity is the native Slovenian’s commitment to humanitarian causes.

While many Americans have forgotten about the series of hurricanes that devastated the Gulf coast this season, Melania Trump took the time to remind the public that the summer’s hurricane victims “still need our help.”

She asked that people donate their time and money to the cause of hurricane relief during the coming holiday season.

Still Work to Be Done
The first lady, a four-time Goodwill Ambassador with the American Red Cross, issued her appeal on Twitter and asked Americans to volunteer their time and money after three major hurricanes devastated the southeast region of the U.S.

Her request was accompanied by a video showing the first lady volunteering with Second Lady Karen Pence during a recent trip to the hurricane-ravaged sections of Texas

Ladies Trump and Pence spent time in Corpus Christi earlier this month, meeting with first responders and volunteers who were instrumental to the Hurricane Harvey recovery effort.

The pair also visited with families who lost their homes during the August storm before dropping by an elementary school and food bank. Trump, who has quickly found her footing within the White House as a spokesperson for American youth, was all smiles while helping out at the local Charlie Marshall Elementary School.

The Spirit of Giving
According to the National Hurricane Center, 2017 was one of the most devastating hurricane seasons on record. Four storms of Category 3 or greater churned through the Atlantic and brought destruction to the Gulf Coast and Puerto Rico.

Hurricanes Harvey and Irma will end up costing the U.S. between $150 and $200 billion respectively in combined property damage, and 103 Americans lost their lives from those two storms alone.

Additionally, with an infrastructure that was already crumbling, much of Puerto Rico is still without power months after Hurricane Maria wrecked the island nation and killed more than 1,000 residents.

While much of the country is ready to move on, Trump’s message serves as a reminder that there is still recovery work to be done in these areas. The first lady speaks from personal experience; after having visited these disaster areas several times, Trump is asking her fellow Americans to open their hearts and join in the spirit of giving that is so central to the Christmas season.

Melania Trump is the classiest First Lady America has had in quite some time. Between the scandal queen Hillary Clinton and the spiteful, nasty attitude of Michelle Obama, it’s about time the U.S. had some grace in the White House.

Liberal magazine Vanity Fair published a story this week from an “unnamed source” claiming that Melania Trump did not want to be First Lady, “come hell or high water.” This was too much for the usually reserved first lady — in a statement, Melania blasted the “shameful” rumors as “salacious and false stories.”

Vanity Fair published the article — which read like a breathless piece of gossip – based on the word of an anonymous “longtime friend of the Trumps.”

According to this friend, Melania wanted nothing to do with the White House:

This isn’t something she wanted and it isn’t something [Donald Trump] ever thought he’d win. She didn’t want this come hell or high water. I don’t think she thought it was going to happen.
Former campaign adviser and GOP strategist Roger Stone said Melania was the driving force behind Trump’s run for the presidency. Stone said:

He always wanted to run. She is the one who pushed him to run just by saying run or do not run. I don’t think she was ever too crazy about it. She said, “It’s not my thing. It’s Donald’s thing.” And I think she understood he was going to be unhappy if he didn’t run.
“Shameful”
While Melania declined to comment on any specific claim in the Vanity Fair piece, the First Lady had plenty to say.
She released a blistering statement through a spokesperson that cut to the heart of the matter:
Once again part of the liberal media, this time Vanity Fair, has written a story riddled with unnamed sources and false assertions.

As a magazine tailored to women it is shameful that they continue to write salacious and false stories meant to demean Mrs. Trump, rather than focus on her positive work as First Lady as a supportive wife and mother.
The First Lady values and honors her role as the President’s wife and White House hostess, according to the spokesperson, and recently unveiled the Christmas White House, decorated with natural flair.

If the pictures from her time with the children from Joint Base Andrews are any indication, Melania Trump has made herself quite at home, and is enjoying her position as First Lady.

Schoolchildren at the White House were reportedly in awe of First Lady Melania Trump as she greeted them during a ceremony for the unveiling of Christmas decorations that she helped design.
“She looks like an angel,” one child reportedly said as Melania was embraced by a handful of schoolchildren when she emerged in the White House wearing a caped Christian Dior dress and a thin, gold belt to accent her small waist.

First Lady Melania Trump brought high fashion to the Great Wall of China as she toured the historic monument Friday while President Donald Trump visits Vietnam.
For her trip to see the Great Wall, Melania chose an array of luxury fashion, starting with a black turtle-neck and double face cashmere wheat-colored wrap skirt from Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s “The Row” label.
Over her shoulders, Melania draped a black Dolce & Gabbana coat and on her feet, the Slovenian-born former model chose beige pointed flats. But the most exquisite portion of the ensemble was the scalloped-edged nude-toned wide leather Azzedine Alaïa belt. The Alaïa accessory retails at Barney’s for more than $1,400.

Melania stunned during a state dinner in China the day before in an embellished Asia-inspired Gucci dress that featured giant puff fur sleeves and a side-slit that revealed the First Lady’s long legs and pale pink stilettos, as Breitbart News reported. The ensemble was easily Melania’s most high fashion outfit while on the overseas trip across Asia.

One elementary school from Cambridgeport, Massachusetts refused to accept the Dr. Seuss books, which Melania Trump sent as a gift to the students from the White House. The books were officially rejected and sent back by the librarian on a pompous way in order to embarrass the First Lady. The librarian, Liz Phipps Soeiro, sent a letter full of hatred, but soon after that, her dark secret was revealed.

Liz Phipps Soeiro has never met the First Lady Melania Trump, but obviously, that doesn’t stop her to be mean and hate her. When the books came at the school, sent directly from Melania Trump, the librarian decided to show that she is real Trump hater. She could be grateful and accept the gift. But instead, she wanted to expose her “superior education.”

“Getting an education is perhaps the most important and wondrous opportunity of your young lives,” Trump wrote in a letter sent to the kids who will receive the books. As CBS News reported, the librarian answered with a letter too, in which she wrote, “[M]y school doesn’t have a NEED for these books. And then there’s the matter of the books themselves. You may not be aware of this, but Dr. Seuss is a bit of a cliché, a tired and worn ambassador for children’s literature.”

She continued, “Another fact that many people are unaware of is that Dr. Seuss’s illustrations are steeped in racist propaganda, caricatures, and harmful stereotypes. Open one of his books (If I Ran a Zoo or And to Think That I Saw It On Mulberry Street, for example), and you’ll see the racist mockery in his art… Philip Nel’s new book, Was the Cat in the Hat Black? The Hidden Racism of Children’s Literature, and the Need for Diverse Books, further explores and shines a spotlight on the systemic racism and oppression in education and literature.”


In this long and boring letter she wrote, this are the highlights. Her intention was to present that it’s all about the racism. But the librarian didn’t keep the communication for herself and the White House. Firstly, she offered the letter to the media, and then she blocked her social media accounts from the journalists.

Anyhow, one thing Liz Phipps Soeiro forgot to do is to lock the “likes” on her Facebook page. She left open opportunity for the public to see pages that she follows. “Surprisingly” she likes Black Lives Matter, Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR), Queers Against Academic Hypocrisy, Islamic Society of Boston and that’s only a few. She also likes Samantha Bee, Stephen Colbert, Micheal Moore and Kamala Harris. Now we can see where she learned the language she used in the letter.
