Izmir Smyrna Rev2


We passed through Izmir a magificent history (Smyrna)another which make it a tourist centre. Place of St. Piolycarp Church one of the disciples of St. John. The Greek name Polycarp means “the one who bears much fruit”, and it accurately describes the man: Polycarp was martyred, crucified and burned by the Romans for his broadcast of Christianity but the Church has been gratefully keeping until this day the fruit of his ministry as a pastor and theologian.
