As Passover nears, rumors are spreading that Israelis will use the holiday to sacrifice a red heifer.

There have been nine red heifers that have been sacrificed since Moses, which Bill Cloud, the founder of Jacob’s Tent Fellowship, explains is the antidote for the golden calf.

“It is for ceremonial cleansing in order to approach God, so that’s important in relation to the rebuilding of the temple, because they don’t have a temple at this point,” Cloud explains.

This has become a point of contention for Hamas after the October 7 attack on Israel, as the group voiced its concern with the red heifer, claiming the Jews would start purifying Temple Mount.
Hamas called it an act of war.

Cloud has his thoughts on what this will mean for Israel.

“If you have the ashes, that doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re going to start next week in rebuilding the temple, because if they burn a red heifer, Glenn, everybody’s going to hear about it, including the Muslim world, including the Israeli government. That would be a provocation,” Cloud tells Glenn Beck, who is wondering what this means for the human race.

“How far down the line are we on the known prophecy of the things that have to happen before the clock starts ticking for the return of Christ?” Glenn asks.

“Well, I think the clock has already started ticking,” Cloud says, though he adds that in his experience, it won’t happen the way we believe it will.

“It just always happens the way it’s written,” he says.

Funny how the pressure works up so often for wars abroad and so rarely for deaths at home. But in Washington that pressure is relentless — and one-sided.
The border won’t be secured this year, after House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) proposed a deal that breaks border security off from the little leverage Republicans had, leaving it to drift into the void.

Republican leadership’s plan is to pass funding for Ukraine's and Israel’s wars, as well as a bill forcing TikTok to divest from its Chinese owner, a bill to seize Russian bank assets, and other foreign aid and sanctions, bundling them all together to send to the Democrat-controlled Senate.

The War Party gets what it wants, the appropriators spend what they want, the latest tax bill always passes.

Oh, and the Rules Committee, Johnson said in his Wednesday statement, will “also be posting text on a border security bill that includes the core components of HR 2, under a separate rule that will allow for amendments.”

The process for the first vote maneuver, nicknamed “MIRV,” is complex. But it comes down to combining Washington hawks’ and the administration’s national security wish list before sending it to the upper chamber as one package.

The process for the second maneuver is less complex: It’s a simple betrayal of popular demands for a secure border, combined with what one senior GOP aide called “a pat on the head.”

The problem is that Democrats don’t want to pass border security. While the White House knows the southern invasion is a serious political liability, the administration is more afraid of the left-wing activists in the party than of the regular voters. That means the only way for Republicans to protect the border was to attach it to other top concerns — a strategy that is dead, thanks to Johnson’s deal.

Why Johnson ditched his promises
This is not the way it was supposed to play out. We were told border security was the number-one priority for the new speaker. In a White House Situation Room meeting with administration officials, for example, Johnson presented “two essential prerequisites: security at our border, and critical answers regarding the funds requested.”

We know this because he wrote it down in a December 5 letter reiterating Republicans’ position to one of the October meeting participants.

Border security as a prerequisite for aid to foreign countries was among the speaker’s first promises and was repeated throughout his first few months in office. Border security is also among the Republican Party’s top pledges, repeated by candidates and politicians from the Rio Grande to Montana.

More than that, in poll after poll, from New Mexico to Massachusetts, illegal immigration is voters’ top concern. In Washington, D.C., however, it can get in the back of the line, behind Ukraine, Israel, Gaza, Sudan, and all the other places scheduled for the $95 billion in taxpayer funds Johnson is proposing to send abroad.

So what changed?

For one thing, Iran’s attack on Israel. Though part of a broader back-and-forth, and resulting in no deaths, the boldness of Iran itself responding (instead of using its many proxies) gave ammunition to Republican hawks eager to untie their war funds from U.S. security, while also giving cover to Democrat politicians targeted by anti-Israel and pro-Hamas activists.

For another, continued Russian pressure on Ukraine frightened nervous members of both parties. “I think we’re already seeing things on the battlefield begin to shift a bit in terms of in Russia’s favor,” Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin told the defense appropriations subcommittee on Wednesday.

The Russians are beating the Ukrainians in terms of “munitions ... vehicles [and] ... platforms," Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Charles Q. Brown agreed.

Panic in the SCIF
And finally, there’s the SCIF, or “Sensitive Compartmentalized Intelligence Facility,” where the American intel community shares secret information with lawmakers, who can neither confirm it nor repeat it outside the SCIF.

On Tuesday, the Republican chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and his Democrat colleague issued a joint statement citing secret briefings that convinced them of the imminent need to send money to Ukraine, even at the cost of losing all leverage over the administration to secure the border.

“Today, in a classified briefing,” they wrote, “our committee was informed of the critical need to provide Ukraine military aid this week."

It wasn’t the first time a secret briefing had sent Intel Committee Chairman Mike Turner (R-Ohio) spinning. In February, he caused a brief panic about a new Russian secret weapon after leaving the SCIF in such a tizzy that it took statements from the White House and his Senate counterparts to calm everyone down.

Johnson has been known to dabble in the SCIF as well. “When I became speaker,” he told reporters April 10, “I went to the SCIF and got the confidential briefing from sort of the other perspective on that, to understand the necessity of Section 702 of FISA and how important it is for national security. And it gave me a different perspective.”

Those sorts of meetings are almost certainly responsible for the speaker’s flip-flop on more taxpayer aid to Ukraine’s war.

“Every person who's spent any time in D.C. knows the ... classified intel briefing in the SCIF is merely a leash,” Tucker Carlson said in a post last week. “It’s a collar around your neck attached to a chain, and at the other hand is your handler ... telling you that if you don’t go along with the program, Americans will die.”

Funny how the pressure works up so often for wars abroad and so rarely for deaths at home. But in Washington that pressure is relentless — and one-sided.

And we see the results play out the same way, time and time again: The War Party gets what it wants, the appropriators spend what they want, the latest tax bill always passes. But the concerns of the American people? The invasion of our southern border? Take a number and get in line. Maybe next year. (But probably not.)

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy asked all the right questions on Monday after Iran launched an unprecedented attack on Israel.

Last Friday, Biden said he expected Iran to launch an attack on Israel and issued a one-word warning, "Don't." But the doctrine of don't failed. The next day, Iran launched hundreds of projectiles at Israel — drones, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles. Fortunately, the U.S. and its Middle Eastern allies intercepted nearly all of the projectiles, leading to minimal damage, no deaths, and few injuries.

At the White House press briefing, Doocy interrogated Kirby on Biden's next steps, pointing out the doctrine of don't was a failure.

The Marine Cloud Brightening Program's Coastal Atmospheric
The USS Hornet may be a decommissioned aircraft carrier, yet it has nevertheless become the launch-site for a controversial new war in the skies.
Aerosol Research and Engagement project, led by researchers from the University of Washington, took to the deck of the Hornet Tuesday to launch streams of particles into the sky above the San Francisco Bay. Their ultimate objective is apparently to block and reflect sunlight in hopes of limiting "global warming."
CAARE researchers behind the geoengineering scheme opted not to announce their experiment, reportedly citing concerns that there might be significant backlash.
After all, the American public — or at the very least, the residents of Alameda — might first want to hear from the hundreds of scientists who have called for a non-use agreement for solar radiation management and stated in an open letter that the "risks of solar geoengineering are poorly understood and can never be fully known. Impacts will vary across regions, and there are uncertainties about the effects on weather patterns, agriculture, and the provision of basic needs of food and water."
The experiment
Clouds bounce some of the sun's rays back into space. This supposedly helps cool temperatures locally.

The University of Washington's Department of Atmospheric Sciences conceded that fossil fuel emissions and other human activities have long generated aerosols in the atmosphere that mix in with low-altitude clouds, causing them to brighten and reflect more sunlight, having a cooling effect on the earth's climate.

"I think most people are aware that there's a greenhouse gas effect that warms climate," UW MCB program director Sarah Doherty told the Weather Channel. "But what most people aren't aware of is that the particles that we've also been producing and adding to the atmosphere offset some of that climate warming. So, the overall effect is one of climate warming, but it would be a lot more without that particulate pollution."

With climate alarmists concerned over supposed global temperature increases and the corresponding war on fossil fuels sure to rob the clouds of a contributing brightener, some scientists are keen to pump out aerosols of their own.

Robert Wood, the lead UW scientist running the cloud project, noted on his university blog that the team at the CAARE facility developed a "Cloud-Aerosol Research Instrument (CARI)." This device, which has multiple nozzles and resembles a snow maker, can apparently fire trillions of salt particles into the air.

Republican Scott Jennings called out CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday for taking Donald Trump's remarks about immigrants out of context.

On Tuesday, the Biden campaign posted a seven-second clip of remarks Trump made during a stop in Michigan, ripping the comments out of their context to misrepresent what Trump was saying. The campaign made it appear as if Trump had described all immigrants as "animals."


Blitzer then took the Biden campaign's narrative about the remarks and asked Jennings whether Americans are becoming "desensitized" to Trump's "brutal, incendiary rhetoric" about immigrants.

"Isn't that brutal? Shouldn't people be condemning that?" Blitzer asked.

Jennings not only answered the question, but he informed Blitzer that he was misrepresenting Trump's remarks.

"I listened to the entire tape. He was specifically talking about the person who murdered Laken Riley in Georgia," Jennings pointed out.

"And to be honest with you, Wolf, if somebody murders another human being, I think they deserve to be called 'animals,' and I don't think any American is really going to reject that kind of rhetoric," he added. "That poor girl was murdered in cold blood. Is that person who did it not an animal? I think that's an apt term."

But for some reason, Blitzer could not wrap his head around the idea that Trump was not condemning all immigrants.

"You think he was only referring to those murderers, not referring in general to illegal immigrants who are coming into the United States?" the CNN anchor followed up.

Republican Scott Jennings called out CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer on Wednesday for taking Donald Trump's remarks about immigrants out of context.

On Tuesday, the Biden campaign posted a seven-second clip of remarks Trump made during a stop in Michigan, ripping the comments out of their context to misrepresent what Trump was saying. The campaign made it appear as if Trump had described all immigrants as "animals."


Blitzer then took the Biden campaign's narrative about the remarks and asked Jennings whether Americans are becoming "desensitized" to Trump's "brutal, incendiary rhetoric" about immigrants.

"Isn't that brutal? Shouldn't people be condemning that?" Blitzer asked.

Jennings not only answered the question, but he informed Blitzer that he was misrepresenting Trump's remarks.

"I listened to the entire tape. He was specifically talking about the person who murdered Laken Riley in Georgia," Jennings pointed out.

"And to be honest with you, Wolf, if somebody murders another human being, I think they deserve to be called 'animals,' and I don't think any American is really going to reject that kind of rhetoric," he added. "That poor girl was murdered in cold blood. Is that person who did it not an animal? I think that's an apt term."

But for some reason, Blitzer could not wrap his head around the idea that Trump was not condemning all immigrants.

"You think he was only referring to those murderers, not referring in general to illegal immigrants who are coming into the United States?" the CNN anchor followed up.

"I listened to the tape. That's exactly what he was talking about," Jennings confirmed.

Six white police officers in Rankin County, Mississippi have been sentenced to prison after a court found them guilty of brutally torturing two Black men last year.
Apparently, these officers and their comrades had been torturing people in similar ways for upwards of 20 years. And their Sheriff, Bryan Bailey, knew all about it.

The so-called "Goon Squad" set about on a campaign of racially-motivated terror that involved beatings, Taser shockings, torture, sexual assault, and a mock execution. It ended with them shooting one of the victims, Michael Jenkins, in the mouth, breaking his jaw. Then they left him bleeding on the floor, planted a gun at the scene, and cooked up a cover story.

As Eddie Parker, one of the two victims, said: "That night, I saw the devil come to me. I saw the devil in my face, in my home, where I was supposed to be safe. What did I do to get this? Nothing."

Court documents said Patel was intoxicated when he boarded the plane.
While the plane was still on the ground at the Tampa International Airport, Patel allegedly began "antagonizing passengers, calling flight attendants names, threatening passengers and aggressively moving through the aircraft." According to the Federal Aviation Administration, there have been 411 reports of unruly passengers in 2024. There were 2,075 unruly passengers last year. The FAA, which began keeping track of unruly passengers in 2017, said the most incidents happened in 2021, with 5,973 reports of unruly passengers.
