God uses drip irrigation

Psalm 69:13 - But as for me, my prayer is unto thee, O LORD, in an
acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth
of thy salvation.

Some days back at one of my classes I was teaching Psalm 104 in depth and
we learned something very beautiful in verse 13

Psalm 104:13 - He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is
satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

The actual meaning of the verse is

Psalm 104:13 - He irrigates the mountain [symbolizing Truth] from his
dwelling place: the nations are satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

It literally shows how God builds us and brings us to the knowledge of His
Truth, the Lord compares this process to a farmer who nurtures a plant.

Water, light, air and soil (nutrients) are must for any plant to grow. Soil
in which we are rooted in is the Fruits of the Holy Spirit like love, faith
etc, air is His Spirit, light His mercy and water the knowledge of His
Truth. Although every farmer loves his plants, no farmer pours lots of
water over the plant thinking it would grow faster. Every farmer knows if
there is too much water and roots not strong the plant will get destroyed.
If a plant dwells near a river and if its roots are not spread well and the
soil loose then that plant can be uprooted by the flow of water. The very
thing that gives it life can cause it to be destroyed.

God in His wisdom knowing man, did not reveal His Truth fully to man; He
knew with the state of the heart of man the knowledge of His Truth could
destroy man. That is why over the hundreds of years God has been revealing
slowly the things hidden from man and at the same time has been building
man to be in a state to receive it. It is not that there have been people
between this time period who did not have great understanding of the
Kingdom of God, they did, but God also saw that man did not understand
these people and hardened the hearts (hardened further that which was hard
in the first place) of the people around so that they heard or saw and did
not understand.

God is telling us since we are not strongly rooted in the Fruits of the
Holy Spirit therefore the Lord took caution with us as He reveals the
knowledge and understanding of His Kingdom. One thing I have seen in life,
people may look very nice on the outside, may be doing great work for the
Kingdom of God and having great anointing yet God seeing their hearts and
hides things from them, but then there would be some who may be making
mistakes and even falling at times but yet God values their hearts very
much and therefore opens the windows of Heaven to them according to their
calling. Understand when the Lord says His Word will judge us on Judgment
Day, that means according to the understanding we have in us we will be
Judged. Therefore the more we come to the knowledge of the Truth the more
we are expected to walk in the ways of the Lord.

God is telling us if we desire to know more about God and His Kingdom let
us change our hearts and root ourselves strongly to the Fruits of the Holy
Spirit and once we are rooted firmly then we will see streams of knowledge
and understanding coming our way.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, You are a loving God who primarily desires to save your people. By
your wisdom You release and hold back things from man. You know even the
things that are good can be cause for destruction if not given in right
proportion according to the state of that person. Lord we pray not that You
open the windows of Heaven to us but pray You change our hearts so that the
windows of Heaven would be open to us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Man, who is your King?

1 Samuel 10:19-24
19 And ye have this day rejected your God, who himself saved you out of all
your adversities and your tribulations; and ye have said unto him, Nay, but
set a king over us. Now therefore present yourselves before the LORD by
your tribes, and by your thousands.
20 And when Samuel had caused all the tribes of Israel to come near, the
tribe of Benjamin was taken.
21 When he had caused the tribe of Benjamin to come near by their families,
the family of Matri was taken, and Saul the son of Kish was taken: and when
they sought him, he could not be found.
22 Therefore they enquired of the LORD further, if the man should yet come
thither. And the LORD answered, Behold, he hath hid himself among the stuff.
23 And they ran and fetched him thence: and when he stood among the people,
he was higher than any of the people from his shoulders and upward.
24 And Samuel said to all the people, See ye him whom the LORD hath chosen,
that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people
shouted, and said, God save the king.

When a building is in dire state very few people see the problem in the RCC
structure, like pillars and beams, most people look at the cracks in the
walls to determine the state of the building. Cracks in the walls do not
necessarily mean the building will fall, but when the pillars and beams
start to fail then the cracks will surely develop. In the start they may be
hairline cracks, but mostly the collapsing happens so very fast that at
times they leave very little time for the people dwelling in the building
to evacuate, only a person having a keen sense of observation and knowledge
of the field would know exactly how much time that building would stand or
which part will collapse first.

Today we see Christianity spreading at a very high speed and many people
coming to the knowledge of the True God and His Christ. Every person knows
as a building starts growing the foundation starts getting really tested.
People are happy when they see the Church growing but many do not see that
its structural frame and foundation is not very strong to stand great load.

People may think the splitting of the Church into denominations is
something very bad that happened to the Church. But only when one knows the
wisdom of God, one will realize if it was not for various denominations the
Church would not have lasted this long.

In today's message we see the Lord selected a person like Saul to lead His
people as king when they rejected Him as King. Even though Saul was the
best among all the Israelites at that time, we all know how Saul really was
inside, but had it not been for a person like Saul being king then David
would not have been the David we know. It took a person like Saul to have a
hand in the moulding of David and making his heart according to the Lord's.
If Saul had continued to be king of the people and had David not come into
the picture the Israelites would not have lasted long and maybe not
survived at all. So we see as much David was necessary for Israel, so also
Saul was necessary for David.

Today due to denominations the Churches are growing in the horizontal
direction that is why it exists and is able to grow. Had the Believer
Church been united as one and been at the spiritual level it is today, it
would have surely collapsed this growth.

Today the state of spiritual growth of our Churches is very bad and not
strong to last the rate of growth it is experiencing, or will experience.
There is a very urgent need to strengthen the structural foundation and
structural frame of the Church and very, very few people are noticing it
and even fewer at doing something about it.

The very basic understandings of the Church are not surefooted or firm.
They are all on shaky grounds or on false understanding. Even though
Believers came out of the Catholic Church yet they carried with them many
traditions and teachings of that Church, so the mark of the Beast continued
on the people.

Very, very few Christians know who their King is and who their King of
Kings is. If they do not know who leads them, then who are they following?
This is the very reason at certain stage most land up following some man
who comes in the name of the Lord.

Church, it is time the Elders and Leaders of the various Churches wakeup
and test their every belief with the Word of God and see if it is founded
on a firm foundation or not. People think they know the Bible in and out
and there is no need to set a team of people apart to research and
strengthen the Church's foundation like Paul did with a group of people
even though he was highly mature in the knowledge and understanding of the
things of the Kingdom of God for he really knew what he knew was very
little.

We need to strengthen our foundation at a very emergency note for it to
stand the test the things that are to come.

Lord, even though we are growing and the harvest is indeed coming in, yet
Lord the people who are the hem of running things are themselves not on a
firm foundation. They lack the knowledge and understanding of your Kingdom.
When they themselves are shaky then how are they to be Pastors / Shepherds
to led the flock to green pastures? Heal your Bride Lord bring people and
open doors for people who would strengthen your House...

Summer and winter shall be upon them

Isaiah 18:6,7 - They shall be left together unto the fowls of the
mountains, and to the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon
them, and all the beasts of the earth shall winter upon them. In that time
shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of a people scattered
and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning hitherto; a
nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers have
spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.

Before I get to the message let me expound some important words.

The word translated as mountains is actually meaning hills, which
symbolizes worldly understanding.

The word translated as fowls comes from the root word which means to shriek
or rush greedily symbolizing here as people who blindly desire more and
more blessings from God, but do not desire God.

The word translated as beast comes from the root word which means mute,
symbolizing here as people who know the Will of God, but still do not do it
thus go against His Will. In spiritual world there is do or do not, yes or
no but no in-between, the in-between are considered as no.

About 3 days back we had received a message about Ethiopia (black people
who have hardened their hearts against God). In between we received 2
messages one of people who follow Men of God but not God and the other who
follow traditions of man in the name of the Lord. Both these do not follow
God but yet think they do so.

Today God is continuing the message specifying Ethiopia into two categories
of people. He puts them as those a lot who blinded themselves to receive
and receive blessings from God but do not want God (which means His
Nature). The other lot the Lord puts as people who have been blessed with
knowledge of God yet do not do the Will of God. They are the people who
think I will pray and things will be alright.

Praying is important for it opens doors but God does not desire people who
just pray but people who also do His Will. Jesus said you will enter His
Father's house because you kept His Father's Will, not because you prayed
to His Father. Jesus gave us a mission to preach, heal and deliver people
in this praying is not listed. Praying allows us to do the mission easier
but praying is not the mission. If we do not pray we will struggle and come
across great hurdles in doing the mission, so prayer is indeed important to
do the mission.

Since these few days we have seen extreme climate one part of the world
experience very high temperatures and the other very low temperatures.
Things we never thought of, are been seen today.

Today again God is telling these people who have hardened their hearts
against Him to repent and seek Him (His Nature) not just His blessings. He
also telling the mute spectators on whom winter is set, to abide by His
Will and not be just spectators but doers of His Will. Remember as much
more you are blessed with that much more is expected of you in the Kingdom
of God.

Lord, You are a loving Father who chastises not out of anger but out of
love. For You do not consume your children but keep them from being
consumed by vanity. Father we pray for change in their hearts and your
abundant grace in their lives...

The Wall of Traditions

Psalms 119:104 - Through thy precepts (statutes) I get understanding:
therefore I hate every false way.

One of the biggest walls that stand between man and his God is the wall of
tradition. Religions are manmade and all religions stand on the basis of
traditions. If it were not for traditions there would not be any religion.

What is tradition?

In a nut shell it is a deed or understanding that is passed down from
generation to generation. That means if a person does or follows 'A' thing
and others follow it over a long period of time, then that 'A' thing
becomes tradition.

One may question all teachings, including the teachings of Jesus have been
passed down from generations and also Jesus too commanded to do certain
things so does those not become tradition?

This is where most people miss the bus.

In the Bible from Genesis to Revelation there are many things which the
Lord commanded us to do as custom and pass them from generation to
generation and none of these are traditions but all of them are statutes.
There is a big difference between statutes and traditions although both are
customs yet they differ a lot.

Statutes are things that are done which bring understanding. In the Bible
the Lord commanded us to do statutes for the reason we come to the
understanding behind them and after we come to the understanding the things
we do in the natural are not necessary for now the spiritual understanding
takes over. Like the feasts which we are commanded to celebrate by the Lord
were traditions and they commanded for the purpose to understand things
concerning Christ. Does that mean now that we know the true Passover we are
not supposed to celebrate Resurrection Sunday? No.

Understand statutes were given for the children of Israel. That does not
mean the Jews but those who are people of God and are spiritually immature
in other words growing in the Lord. That means until all mature and get its
understanding, till then we need to keep celebrating the feasts, in short
as we grow in the Lord we celebrate less for ourselves and more for others.

Traditions on the other hand are like bonds that compel the person to do
things in the natural while blinding our spirit from understanding what or
why we are doing it. That is why they become a growing wall between us and
the Kingdom of God; they blind us so much that even though they go against
the written Word of God yet we continue doing them, just because they were
handed over unto us from others in the name of the Lord.

Also there are people who try to give meaning to traditions and make it
difficult to distinguish between statutes and traditions.

There is a simple rule to test between statutes and traditions. If anything
we do in the name of the Lord does not help us grow in true knowledge and
understanding of the Kingdom of God and in relationship with the Lord then
that is a tradition and not statutes. That is why even statutes given by
the Lord we can make them into traditions by concentrating on the natural
more than the spiritual. Traditions make man religious and statutes make
him spiritual.

Today's message asks us to discern all things that we do or receive in the
name of the Lord, for exercising discernment is a sign of maturity.

Father God, You called us as children and You gave us your Spirit so that
we can mature into Sons. Lord we pray that the bonds of traditions that
Satan has put around your people may be broken and they may be set free and
allowed to grow in spirit and mature into Sons. May they keep your Word in
Spirit and not in the letter...

27 "that you shall say, 'It is the Passover sacrifice of the LORD, who
passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt when He struck

Leviticus 18:1-5

1 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'I am the LORD your
God.

3 'According to the doings of the land of Egypt, where you dwelt, you
shall not do; and according to the doings of the land of Canaan, where I am
bringing you, you shall not do; nor shall you walk in their ordinances.

4 'You shall observe My judgments and keep My ordinances, to walk in them:
I am the LORD your God.

5 'You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, which if a man
does, he shall live by them: I am the LORD.

Leviticus 10:8-11

8 Then the LORD spoke to Aaron, saying:

9 "Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you,
when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a
statute forever throughout your generations,

10 "that you may distinguish between holy and unholy, and between unclean
and clean,

11 "and that you may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which
the LORD has spoken to them by the hand of Moses."

Deuteronomy 4:

44 Now this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel.

45 These are the testimonies, the statutes, and the judgments which Moses
spoke to the children of Israel after they came out of Egypt,

2 Kings 17:34 To this day they continue practicing the former rituals;
they do not fear the LORD, nor do they follow their statutes or their
ordinances, or the law and commandment which the LORD had commanded the
children of Jacob, whom He named Israel,

Leviticus 23:41 'You shall keep it as a feast to the LORD for seven days
in the year. It shall be a statute forever in your generations. You shall
celebrate it in the seventh month.

1 Corinthians 11:2 - Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in
all things and keep the traditions [teachings comes from the root word
meaning to deliver] just as I delivered to you.

Galatians 1:14 And I advanced in Judaism beyond many of my contemporaries
in my own nation, being more exceedingly zealous for the traditions
[teachings] of my fathers.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the
traditions [teachings] which you were taught, whether by word or our
epistle.

Luke 11:47-48

47 "Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers
killed them.

48 "In fact, you bear witness that you approve the deeds of your fathers;
for they indeed killed them, and you build their tombs.

Matthew 15:1-3

1 Then the scribes and Pharisees who were from Jerusalem came to Jesus,
saying,

2 "Why do Your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they
do not wash their hands when they eat bread."

3 He answered and said to them, "Why do you also transgress the
commandment of God because of your tradition?

Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty

The children of Elijah

2 Kings 4:35 - Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and
went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times,
and the child opened his eyes.

In the Bible there are few who did miracles like Elisha. Bible says he had
double the anointing of Elijah yet we see not once in the Gospels Jesus
refers to Elisha.

In today's message we see when the Shunammite woman's son died Elisha did
what he saw Elijah do when the son of the widow had died. Understand Elisha
had received his anointing from Elijah and not from the Lord, but on the
other hand Elijah had received his anointing from the Lord.

When Samuel anointed David, he did on behalf of the Lord so the anointing
that fell on David although came through Samuel, yet it was from the Lord.
In the case of Elisha when Elijah was been taken up, he desired not the
anointing from the Lord but from Elijah so Elijah out of obligation of
serving him did pass double of his anointing unto Elisha. We see Elisha
before lying on the child like Elijah did, had laid his staff (which
represents authority) on the child but it did not work for his authority
did not come from the Lord to bless the Shunammite woman with a child, for
this woman did not know the Lord of Elisha but had reverence for Elisha as
a Man of God, a man having power.

Just a few days back a young evangelist was preaching with fire (great
aggression) on a topic and a brother who attended it did not agree with
something what the evangelist said during his preaching but after some time
another brother removed his mobile and played a video of TD Jakes which was
on that topic and the brother was surprised to hear word to word preaching
of TD Jakes was preached by the young preacher, even the mistakes of TD
Jakes were reiterated word to word.

It is sad to see young men called by the Lord being led astray by their
idolization of other preachers that they desire not the anointing of God
but the anointing of the preacher. These people do not know all the work
that they do in the Lord will not bear good fruit. They may bring many
people to the Lord and even make many believers but sadly they will not
make disciples for the Lord. They may make many disciples for themselves
but none for the Lord that is why we see many being led astray and being
consumed.

In countries like USA we find this problem has deep infection like AIDS and
has spread throughout the Churches there and now this same problem is
spreading here in India. For these people the word of their idol holds
greater value than the Word of God. You try correcting them and they will
turn a deaf ear unto you and react at you as someone just born yesterday
and trying to teach them who have been believers since many years.

The young preacher I referred to previously, some years back did impress me
a lot and was asking me questions on scriptures about the hidden things of
the Kingdom of God, but surprising the Lord instructed me not to waste my
time behind him so I stopped answering him. It was only after some months I
realized why.

In today's message we see these people are not messengers of God but
messenger of their idols, they follow the steps of their idols. They may be
famous by the miracles or healings they do. The Lord for His Name sake does
miracles and healings through them but yet these deeds may not glorify God
as much they glorify the person. They are the people who build houses on
sand and not on the Rock for they are far from the Truth. The person who
they were impressed by may be rooted on the Rock and blameless like Elijah,
was but since these people followed not the God in the Man of God but the
man in the Man of God, they are consumed by vanity.

Bible says they will be saved for their faith in God but their works will
be like ash consumed by the fire of God on Judgment Day.

Lord we pray for all those who welcome the Prophet and reap the Prophet' s
reward that they turn their eye's unto You who sent the Prophet and welcome
You and thus reap your reward. Lord we pray the bondages that hold these
people be broken and they be set free. That the only bonds that hold them
are the bonds of love of the Lord Jesus Christ that bring us unto You...

26 Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with
thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she
answered, It is well.

feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let
her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the LORD hath hid it from
me, and hath not told me.

28 Then she said, Did I desire a son of my lord? did I not say, Do not
deceive me?

29 Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine
hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any

receive a prophet' s reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name
of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward.

11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which
is Jesus Christ.

12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious
stones, wood, hay, straw,

13 each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because

Those black (Ethiopia) will be shaken

Isaiah 18:7 - In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of
hosts of a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from
their beginning hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose
land the rivers have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of
hosts, the mount Zion.

This chapter of Isaiah is a prophecy to the people of Ethiopia it does not
relate to the people of the place or country called Ethiopia but relates to
a certain lot of people. The Hebrew word translated as Ethiopia means
black, it relates to people who have hardened their hearts against God. It
does not talk of people who have rejected Christ but talks of people who
know Christ. The scripture talks of people 'whose land the rivers have
spoilt'.

Today's message goes to people who have received abundant blessings in
Christ. The Lord is telling them just when they were to be fruitful, or
just when they saw good things happen He has cut of their roots. He will
cause disunity between them. He will cause their heart to fail. All this He
will do because He had blessed them abundantly and they have hardened their
heart against Him.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. He says He will do this so
as to bring sense in them, to mature them and bring them to Zion His
fortified city where they will dwell seeing the glory of God.

Lord, at these times we are seeing things happening and we blame nature and
people but forget You exist and You are God Almighty. Lord we pray your
people stop hardening their hearts against You, that they do not go by
their wise way but submit your knowledge and understanding. ..

The Rich Man is Not

Job 27:19 - The rich man shall lie down' but he shall not be gathered: he
openeth his eyes' and he is not.

Most people will hate me for this message like they hated Jesus. Even His
own disciples were baffled when Jesus spoke on this topic' which they did
not do for any of His other messages.

One brother came to me and asked me if I would preach on financial
prosperity / blessings' and I told that brother if I do so most of them
will either leave Christianity or chase me with stones.

Today� message talks of when the rich lies he shall not be gathered' he
opens his eyes he realizes he is nothing. This scripture is not talking of
him sleeping for the night but talks of when he dies.

If one reads the Old Testament it actually tells you who was saved in the
Lord when they died and also tells us why from their life. When the person
dies it does not just say he died but says he was gathered unto his people
or his fathers or slept (New Testament). For those who were not saved it
says nothing of them being gathered' but just they died.

This world is like a fog where we see things very hazily and seeing with
natural eyes is like walking through a dense fog by feeling one� self
around. When we see with our spiritual eyes it is like using infrared
glasses or a radar and seeing through the fog. When we die each and every
one will exit the fog and wills see everything clearly. Irrespective we saw
right or wrong in the fog we will see things all they perfectly and realize
the mistakes we did in the fog.

Today� scripture further says when the rich man dies and his eyes open he
will realize he was pursuing vanity. It is like someone giving up one�
life for a good massage. No doubt a good massage makes one feel good at
that time but then it does not save a person and not worth suffering for
thousands of years for a few days of enjoyment.

Like riches are very dangerous for a Christian so also poverty is a curse
for a Christian. A good Christian is a person who neither lacks in any area
for he knows His Provider nor has excess where in his heart cannot control
the desires of the flesh' for he is overcomer. Fasting' Tithing and Giving
unto the Lord are a good start to control one� greed from riches.

Lord' in this world man dwells in the waters between the crocodile and the
hippopotamus. Both are out to consume him. Lord we pray You keep our hearts
sober and we desire for things in Heaven more than things of this world.
Help us to always remember You are our provider so that we do not spend our
lives stocking things for ourselves and become rich but learn to trust You
more. Lord' build us in faith and help us walk in spirit...

destroy and where thieves break in and steal;

20 "but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven' where neither moth nor
rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

He does not delight in horses and legs of man

Psalms 147:10,11 - He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he
taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD taketh pleasure in them
that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

When one reads this scripture and questions it, one may find it funny. God
created horses and made them strong and fast to travel and God created man
with legs yet it says God does not delight in strength of horses or the
legs of man. The scripture does not imply to the object but to what they
symbolize.

In Revelations we read of horses of different colour, there are no horses
of different colours nor are there spiritual animals in Heaven, nor do
Angels travel on horses. The scripture state so that we understand
spiritual things by their symbolization.

When Adam gave names to the animals he did so by noticing their nature. The
Hebrew word translated as horse means swift. Horses in Bible symbolize
progress from one stage to another stage. Legs on the other hand symbolize
life. When God told people to wash their hands and feet before coming
before Him or else they would die, He did not really mean physically death
nor physical washing although He commanded them to do so as a statute but
He desired them to understand the truth over the years. Washing of feet
means forgiveness of sins which one commits in their walk of life (which
they are not aware of). The Lord gave them the Sacrifice of Guilt for this,
which is what the Bread (Body of Christ) which we break at services does to
us. That is why Jesus washed the feet of His disciples at the last supper,
it was a sign that He forgave them their sins and commanded they forgive
the sins of each other (wash each other's feet).

To wash our feet we need to first wash our hands, that means get
forgiveness for the sins we have committed by our works, sins we are aware
of. Without wash hands, washing our feet is like making a mockery of the
Sacrifice of Guilt and thus Paul says for this many die.

In today's message the Lord is telling us He neither takes pleasure in the
progress/prosperity of man nor in the life of man. He only takes pleasure
in them that fear Him and those who hope in His mercy.

Although God created all humankind yet Bible says most humans are like
grass set to be consumed by cattle but His people are like medical plants
for the healing of mankind.

We need to understand like poverty is a curse that destroys man so also
worldly prosperity is harmful to man for it destroys the spirit of man and
does not allow him to enter Heaven. God promises to provide us our needs.
The desires of our heart Bible specifies are more for spiritual things.
Bible tells us to be overcomers, overcome what? Overcome the worldly
desires of our hearts which lead to sin. Like the Bible says wealth is not
evil but the desire of wealth is the root of all evil.

People think the scripture 2 Corinthians 8:9 talks of Jesus lived a life of
a poor person. Firstly Jesus was not born in a stable but outside an inn
while they were waiting for a room which were full because it was the Feast
of Tents / Feast of the Tabernacle which comes in September. Secondly the
wise men had bought very precious gifts to give the parents of Jesus these
were very expensive. There were not 3 wise men but many wise men
representing many kingdoms but all of them bought 3 gifts for they were
special given not to kings but only to Emperors (king of kings). Imagine
each bringing a portion of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, think how much of
gold, how much of frankincense and myrrh would there have been. Surely
there was sufficient to last their life time. Notice Jesus did not wear
rags He wore decently good clothes (white linen robes with blue hem as
traditional Jewish dress), that's why the soldiers did not tear His clothes
but cast lots for it.

The Scriptures says Jesus rich before He became poor for our sake. Did He
have money and worldly treasure before He came as man? It talks of Him
spiritually humbling Himself and becoming man so that He can spiritually
lift us and make us Sons of God again.

Paul tells us to live a sober life; neither a life of poverty (for God is
our provider) nor a life of riches (such that wealth becomes a god for us
and we forget God or put Him secondary), not a life of full desires not
knowing the Will of God.

Also notice in today's message those who fear God and those who hope in Him
are listed as two different categories. Fear God does not really mean fear
but means to have knowledge of who He is. Those who hope in God really do
not know God as to who He is. Those who know God as to who He is do not
have hope but have assurance in Him. So God says in today's message He
delights not only in the spiritually mature who know Him, but also in those
who are spiritually little and have come to Him with hope.

Lord, You alone are God and You are Spirit. You made man a spirit being
lower than the Angels for he was put in a body of flesh but the flesh
became his prison when he sinned. Lord, You desired man to overcome this
prison and once again become Sons of God. Lord, we pray we be focused on
our mission and realize our true life has yet not started but will when we
enter Heaven to dwell with You forever. We pray we do not live to enjoy
this worldly life and loose our eternal life...

5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night

6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.

7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk
at night.

He will give you visions after setting you in high places

Ezekiel 40:2,3 - In the visions of God brought he me into the land of
Israel, and set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of
a city on the south. And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a
man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax
in his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.

Before I get to today's message I will like to expound on some words and
what they symbolize.

Israel symbolizes Sons (Princes) of God and symbolizes spiritual maturity /
having authority.

Mountain symbolizes unshakable Truth of God.

Brass is the metal that was used to make bells which were used as
instruments to alert people, to call or warn them. Bells symbolize
prophecies (therefore were embroidered on the garments and curtains
connected to the Tabernacle). The word Hebrew brass also comes from the
root word which means divine so these prophecies are divine prophecies.

The Hebrew word 'pishteh&# 39; translated as flax (which means piece of cloth)
roots to the Hebrew word 'pash' which means stupidity.

The Hebrew word translated as reed comes from the root meaning to acquire
or possess.

In today's message the Lord is telling us those whom He has called He will
spiritually mature them, He will take them to high places, this does not
mean high social position, not even a top post in a Church or a famous
evangelist but means He will give them a revelation of His Kingdom and
place them on a firm foundation. And from that position He will reveal His
prophecies.

What is interesting to know is that these prophecies may look stupid or
foolish in the sight of man but these divine prophecies are from God thus
will surely come to pass.

The world is filled with people giving their own nonsense and claiming them
to be prophecies from the Word of God. People have been since ages
prophesying end of the world, Jesus' second coming, rapture, extreme
prosperity, glorification of the Jewish nation and worldly peace.
Non-Christian hear these people and laugh and they think the Bible is
filled with nonsense, while the spiritual infant Christians get more and
more confused and lose their faith.

Of late there was man who died who time and again spoke of the end of the
world, every time it failed he gave another date and yet even after that
date failed, people still continued following him awaiting another
end-of-the-world date from him! His last pictures released showing him of
great age holding a Bible, a book he had little knowledge of.

The Lord is telling us time is at hand that more and more people are going
to come to the true knowledge of God. People are going to know the Word is
True, Divine and Eternal.

Lord the world is filled with Christians who have a distorted foundation of
the Truth. They doubt the Word for their understanding has time and again
failed. They do not realize the problem is not with the Word but with their
understanding. Lord we thank You for find it worthy to choose us and this
time to open the windows of the knowledge of your Kingdom, to set us on a
firm foundation and revealing the coming of your Kingdom...

Fear not Og, God has delivered him into our hands

Numbers 21:33 - And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og
the king of Bashan went out against them, he, and all his people, to the
battle at Edrei.

The exodus of the Israelites in the wilderness gives us a lot to understand
of our spiritual walk in this world i.e. if we study about the two
exceptional kings Sihon and Og, whom the Israelites encountered and who are
referred to many a times, we would be able to understand Satan (plural).
The Bible tells us about the Beast (young lion) and the Dragon (serpent),
the beast gets his power from the dragon who is bonded in the endless pit
(Hell) and although not being there but yet his rule abides. The book of
Ezekiel calls them as Prince of Tyre and King of Tyre respectively.

Most Christian not being aware of this, try to fight the dragon / Lucifer
who actually is not with us but is bounded in Hell. Bible says he will be
released in the end (just after the rapture when the two witnessed ascend
along with some others) and after his release the Lord Jesus Christ will
come as man / Arch Angel with His Angels (who also are spirit men, those
who overcame /elect and part of the first resurrection and rapture) and
will destroy Satan and his spiritual army (fallen angels) and his earthly
army. They will be put in the Lake of Fire / Sulphur where their suffering
will be worse than Hell. The battle will not be something like what we see
in movies but an instant short like blowing a ultimate nuclear bomb, for
the Lord Jesus Christ and His Angels will appear and with a shout would
reveal His Name (Who He Is / His authority) and Bible says this world would
cease to exist and every knee will bow / soul will surrender (including the
evil souls) to the shout of the Lord.

People being ignorant of the Beast are ignorant of his ways and thus become
victims to his mark. This character (Sihon) does not have power like his
master (Og) but rules in his namesake. He does not desire to be god in
Heaven but over all mankind therefore all religions (leaving for
Christianity) worships him. He / it comes as male or female in various
religions but can be identified for its tricks are exposed in the Bible.
That is why not a soul of his kingdom was spared, including women and
children not even the cattle of his kingdom (which represent different
kinds of spirits).

The Hebrew word Edrei in today’s message means ‘goodly pastures’ it refers
to the Promised Land that is Heaven.

Understand the Heavenly beings like the Cherubs and Angels are part of the
Body of God the Son and when Lucifer (a Cherub), the Beast (one of the
other Cherubs) and their angels (each Cherub has an army of Angels under
them) revolted against the plans of God, darkness came. So God created us
humans who are lower than the Angels to overcome this darkness by the
knowledge of His Truth/Word.

Today the Lord is telling us not to fear Satan (both Og and Sihon and their
army) for the Lord has delivered them unto us. All we need to do is be in
the Army of the Lord for the victory is already declared by the Lord. And
when the All Knowing God declares anything, nothing and nobody can change
it.

Father God your Word is lamp unto our feet and light unto our path. It
shows us not only how we should live our earthly lives but also shows us
things which are hidden from human eyes, it teaches us about the spirit
world. Lord, we pray your Word be revealed more and more unto your people
that they may see the hidden things and discern them; that they may be
saved from the mark of the Beast. Lord keeps our hearts anchored unto You
so that we remain in your Army and enter into the Promised Land so as to
dwell with You for eternity...

23 And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon
gathered all his people together, and went out against Israel into the
wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought against Israel.

24 And Israel smote him with the edge of the sword, and possessed his land
from Arnon unto Jabbok, even unto the children of Ammon: for the border of
the children of Ammon was strong.

25 And Israel took all these cities: and Israel dwelt in all the cities of
the Amorites, in Heshbon, and in all the villages thereof.

Deuteronomy 1:3-8

3 And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the
first day of the month, that Moses spake unto the children of Israel,

4 After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt in

enough in this mount:

1 Now these are the kings of the land, which the children of Israel smote,

sun, from the river Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the plain on the east:

2 Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer,
which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the middle of the

border of the children of Ammon;

sea of the plain, even the salt sea on the east, the way to Bethjeshimoth;

4 And the coast of Og king of Bashan, which was of the remnant of the
giants, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

of Sihon king of Heshbon.

Things are just starting in Egypt

Isaiah 19:1 - The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift
cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at
his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

About 2 years back a great Servant of God from America who works in Egypt
among the down trotted of society, like Muslim widows and their families
and especially those who left Islam to know Christ. These people are
outcast from society according to the Islamic laws; hated and treated like
the lepers were during the time of Jesus. This Servant of God was in India
that time and was hopeful the Arab Spring would end and thus allow him to
continue his work, but then I told him that things had just started and
would continue for a long period of time. When I referred to the scriptures
concerning them he was deeply saddened.

Today people may be thinking with all that has happened till date there is
not much worst that would happen. We have seen utter destructions of
countries like Libya and Syria, and going by what scriptures state I would
not be surprised that this would be the state of other Islamic countries. I
have a feeling all will end when this hits Saudi Arabia.

Today the Word is against Egypt. Even though a lot has happened in this
country, with mass public protests and over throwing of one regime after
another, yet things have not yet started. We have seen of late the Muslim
Brotherhood being banded by the current regime; this will cause this group
to remove their false mask of decency and show their real ugly face of
terror like their prophet who in the start came in peace but later showed
what he really was. The Muslim Brotherhood should not be under estimated
for they are more well connected then the Al Qaeda. This group has grass
root connections to local mosques and Quranic teaching schools and
institutes not only in Egypt but all over the world, even in America. They
can stir the nest more than what a terrorist group like Al Qaeda can.

People may be worried about the Coptic Christians in Egypt. This group is
more Catholic than Christians. They believe more in traditions than in the
Bible / God. They are more like Jews believing in Christ but not leaving
their Jewish ways of life. It is sad many Muslims come out of Islam but
land up becoming Coptic Christians. They come out from the hot pan and fall
into the fire.

People of God understand there is no Jewish Messianic Christians like there
is no Muslim Christians or Islamic Christians. A Muslim or Mussulmen or
Mohammaddan is a person who follows Mohammad and no person following
Mohammad can also follow Christ at the same time. Jews are people who
follow Moses and anyone following Moses or are disciples of Moses can be
disciples of Jesus Christ. Moses spoke of Jesus but the Jews prefer to
follow the man Moses and not the one who he spoke of.

There is either a Christian or not a Christian (period). A person who is a
disciple of Christ following Christ is a person who has rejected this world
and its ways. He or she is a person on a mission to gather the lost sheep
of God and return to God. For such a person life has yet not started; his
or her life starts when he or she is with his or her Creator and God.

Lord, You are God and in your wisdom You set all things. Your plans baffle
even the beings of Heaven. They await the impossible results but they know
You never fail. You have set your people through this fire called world so
that they are refined and purified into pure gold. It is You Lord, who
holds our hands while we walk through this fire...

The Year of the Righteous

Psalms 37:29 - The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for
ever.

If one recollects the pass 2 messages, the second last was about being
blessed in the Lord and being protected not only from evil people but all
things including evil spirits, weaknesses and needs. The last message was
about being in the Will / Word of God and not distorting it so as to
receive of it. Distorting / adding unto the Word does not necessary mean
during preaching but means also as to what we believe of the Word of God.
We cannot create our own fairy-tales and then expect them to come true; and
when they do not we think God is not listening or His Word does not work.

Today as I asked the Lord about this year and what it holds for us we
received the same message.

At the New Year's Eve service the Lord had but a word in the heart of our
Pastor to share with the congregation. Even though he was not preaching he
came out and shared it with us. The message was the same which the Lord has
been telling us. The Pastor's message was rooted on Jeremiah 29:11 (refer
10-13) which tells us when we return to the place God appointed us (not
physical place but being in the Will of God) we will be protected and will
receive the desires of our hearts, we will seek Him and He will be found.

In today's message to us the Lord tells us 'the righteous shall inherit the
land and dwell there for ever'. This land is not some earthly property for
this world itself is not forever and we would not be living in the flesh
forever. This land is the Kingdom of God for the Kingdom of God alone is a
place that is forever. That does not necessary incline that the scripture
means, after our death we will benefit of today's promise.

Let me explain this by example. If we consider the Kingdom of God to be
like a bright spot light in a dark room, we know it would be round and
focused on a specific area. The place where it is focused would be bright
and the places around would be dark. From far we would even see a clear
shape of the spot light. But when we go close we would see even the dark
area around the edge of the spot light would be receiving a substantial
amount of light.

The Will of God is perfect in the Kingdom of God but when we abide by the
Will of God in whatever way we can on earth we dwell on the edge of the
Kingdom of God and thus experience His glory even in this world.

So the Lord is telling us by today's message, we can extend Heaven here on
earth this year by walking in His Will.

Lord, You are God and seated on your Throne of Glory in the Heavens above.
Lord, we thank You that You are letting your glory be manifested down here
on earth this year. We thank You for opening Heaven's window for us this
year. We pray Lord, we take this opportunity and abide by your Will and
experience your glory here on earth...

Be Blessed and Protected

Numbers 22:12 - And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou
shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.

Scriptures say all things are possible unto us in Christ. They also say
things like there is no condemnation for us when we are in Christ, in
Christ we are a new creation, totally new and our old is dead, passed away.
They also say abundance grace through faith and love are available to us
which are in Christ Jesus.

One thing we will notice everything is connected with being 'IN CHRIST'.

Christ is not a club where in one can take life membership and no one can
remove that person from that club. Christ is not an earthly family wherein
come what may no one can remove your rights from that family. No doubt we
become part of Christ by our faith in Him but we need to remain in the
faith to remain in Christ.

Jesus Christ described Himself as being 'The Way' and being 'The Vine'. To
be in Christ Jesus one needs to be a traveller on 'The Way', that means to
be moving on the path Christ showed us. To be in Christ Jesus we need to be
branched of the Vine Jesus Christ. A branch that does not grow is a dead
branch and such branches wither and fall. If we are in Christ Jesus we need
to be an ever growing branch. We being part of a fruitful tree also need to
bear fruits for those that do not bear fruit are cut and burnt.

Jesus Christ was God (part of God and an identity by Himself therefore
called God the Son) who came as man and as man was the manifestation of the
Nature of God in the flesh that is why He was called Son of God. Before
Adam sinned he too was called Son of God and so also the Angels of God are
called Sons of God and those who were corrupted / fallen are called devils.

Jesus was an example for us and it is His Spirit and His Word that keeps us
on the path or connected to Him. Therefore to be 'in Christ' we need to be
in His Word and His Spirit. By just calling ourselves Christians and
obeying the Law in the flesh we cannot be in Christ. One day (after
Judgment Day) the Lord (Jesus Christ) who humbled Himself and became man
would again be who He was, and He was God. God is Spirit so to be in the
Lord Jesus Christ / God the Son we need to keep the Law in spirit more than
anything.

Today's message talks of why Balaam could not curse the people of God. It
says because they were blessed. We read later, when they sinned by falling
into the temptation set by Balak they walked out of the blessing and walked
into the wrath of God.

The word blessing is the Hebrew word Barak and it does not mean a
certificate to goodness forever. It simple means the holder of the promises
of God. Mary was called blessed because through her we received the
promised Saviour; it had nothing to do with her being holy or exceptional.
She was called a woman favoured by God, in fact her cousin Elizabeth (and
her husband) was called righteous and blameless, people who were godlier.
We read there are two type promises one good when we keep the Commandments
of God and bad promises (curses meaning bitter words/promises) when we do
not keep the Commandments of God.

Understand as people of God we are always blessed. We can be blessed with
good (promises in Christ) when we are in Christ (keep His Word and abide by
His Spirit) or be blessed with bad if we do not abide in Christ.

When we say 'be blessed' we wish good and not bad for wishing bad is
cursing. Today's message tells us to be protected from evil we need to be
blessed. So let us grow in Christ and be always blessed and protected.

Lord Jesus, in You alone are all promises Amen and Amen. In You all good
things are Yes and Yes. Lord help us to remain and grow in You. Let us not
be fooled that by just calling ourselves Christians and doing some rituals
we are recipients of your promises...

Cry unto the Lord like a child in sickness

Psalm 86:1-3

1 Bow down thine ear, O LORD, hear me: for I am poor and needy.

2 Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O thou my God, save thy servant that
trusteth in thee.

3 Be merciful unto me, O Lord: for I cry unto thee daily.

There are some things that shatter my spirit and cause me to cry and one of
them is to see my daughter when she is sick and helpless. At such times
when she speaks to me it breaks my heart to see her in that state. I am so
use to hear cheerful words from her but when I hear a helpless, broken
voice from her it breaks me.

When my daughter is unwell she does not need to tell me where it hurts her
or what is happening to her to move me, the times it pains me most is when
she tries to be normal even though it pains her or the sickness is causing
her uneasiness, I can feel her pain even if she does not say a word.

I am a human father, who has failed many a times to be a perfect father,
but our Father in Heaven is a perfect Father, He has never failed to be
perfect. Imagine what must be going in His Heart when He sees us sick and
helpless and especially when we cry out to Him. Cry out to Him does mean
only complaining about our problem but we need to cry out to Him like how
David does in his psalm given to us.

This psalm of David may not have been sung like a song yet it is a very
strong psalm because it brings out our feelings from the core. I am very
sure David said / wrote this psalm when he was totally down and helpless in
his spirit, he may have or may not have been physical ill or in a new grave
earthly problem concerning his kingdom. He may have just been moved in the
spirit and realized the state of his wretched soul. Verse 16 shows he may
have said this psalm when his child, out of sin with Uriah's wife was sick.
The Lord did not save the child but did save David.

We do not need to cry to the Lord only when we are physically sick.
Physical sickness is a manifestation of the sickness in our spirit. This
sickness may be because of our sins or can be for other reasons, but when
we understand the constitution of man and the image of God in man, one
thing is confirmed that all deficiency is due to the corruption of the soul
which started due to sin entering man.

Understand sin is a sickness of the spirit which effects our soul and when
we feel the heaviness of our sin even if there is no physical manifestation
of it, it is time we cry out to our Father. This psalm gives us a very good
idea of how to pray to the Lord when we are broken inside and want to draw
the attention of our God and healer, when we want the Lord to come near and
the distance between us to depart.

Father, You know our every thought even before it takes form in our minds
and You know us more than we know ourselves. Yet Father You wait for us to
cry to You, for to You to come and strengthen us and heal us from the
inside. You desire a free will sacrifice and not a sacrifice made out of
desperation done when we have no other option. Lord, we cry to You not
because of our earthly problems are unbearable but cry out You for been
distant from You is unbearable. Lord, our lives are living dead when You
are far from our lives, when our sins keep You away. Only You Father have
the power to heal our spirit, remove the darkness, strengthen inner-man and
thus bring us closer to You...

would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell
him that the child is dead?

changed his apparel, and came into the house of the LORD, and worshipped:

Do not put two coats

Mark 6:9 - But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

When Jesus sent the twelve out on field training He sent them out with
instructions and one of these instructions was to wear sandals but not to
put on 2 coats. This instruction has more than what meets the eye.

From Genesis to Revelation we find people doing certain actions before the
Lord like bowing, lifting hands up or removing their sandals in the
presence of God.

We picture them like removing their sandals while entering a hall or an
interior place. In India this is considered a mark of respect to remove
ones foot wear when entering a place of high importance like a place of
worship or even houses or meeting rooms. It is not only for cleanliness /
hygiene reasons but also a mark of respect. In the Bible we need to realize
most of the times these were outside in valleys, on hills, on rocky
terrains, in desert areas, etc. even in such areas why would they remove
sandals if it was just for cleanliness reasons?

The Israelites had to wash their hands and feet before entering the
Tabernacle and the consequence of disobedience was greater than murdering
another person. Any person not doing so would be put to death! Like the
Sabbath this Law was also feared very much by the Jews therefore they made
it a very important custom and had elaborate rituals for washing of hands
and feet and used expensive vessels to do these customs.

People think Jesus' washing of the feet of His disciples was a sign of
service, they are mistaken. In one line I can put it - as disciples of
Jesus having authority I can wash the feet of my brethren but he or she
needs to wash his or her hands himself or herself, that I nor anyone, even
Jesus cannot.

Understand these washing of hands and feet are symbolic they represent
forgiveness for one's doings and for things one unknowingly done wrong in
one's walk of life. We as disciples of Jesus (those mature in Spirit) have
been given authority to forgive the sins of our brethren which he or she
had done unknowingly. Jesus did this while giving them the Gilt Sacrifice
(where He offered the unleavened bread as His body).

Before the Lord we cannot hide anything therefore we remove our shoes or
footwear symbolically coming before the Lord as we are (today we do it in
spirit and not needed to do it physically). Today's message Jesus
instructed His disciple not to bare everything about their lives when they
went out to minister to people. We may have been greatest criminals or
maybe struggling in an area in our lives, these things we should not
disclose to the masses or general people. We can confine these things to
another brethren in discreet for spiritual help like guidance and prayer.
Before the people we speak about the Lord and give glory only to the Lord
and keep our personal problems discreet.

Jesus also instructed them not to wear 2 coats. Note He specifically said
not to 'wear' 2 coats. This is something most Preachers do. They live 2
lives one on stage and another in their family or in private. They talk of
overcoming the world on the stage and in private live a life totally
worldly.

The Lord is telling us if we want to have testimonies like the twelve did
while working for the Lord we need to do these instructions in our
ministering lives.

Lord, You are a Holy God and no one can come before You with sin and still
live, that is why You have instructed us to wash our doings of our hands
and things we have done unknowingly in our lives so that we live before
You. Lord You have made available the Blood / Righteousness of Jesus Christ
as a sacrifice to wash all our sins before we come fore You after Judgment
Day. Also Lord You are God who was, is and will be, a God that does not
change, therefore also desire us to be like You of one nature. Lord, help
us and all the workers in your vineyard to abide by these instructions so
that they can give testimony of your glory...

Release in the year of Sabbath

Jeremiah 34:16 - But ye turned and polluted my name, and caused every man
his servant [subject / worshippers] , and every man his handmaid, whom ye
had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into
subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.

Just some days back I was talking to a senior Pastor who came on house
visit as to how the Church is more concentrated in making Believers and not
disciples. Evangelising to a person ends when that person come to a Church
and becomes part of a congregation after that all they think of is how to
keep that person in the Church. We may be increasing in numbers but we are
causing a very serious problem if we are not going to build leaders for
tomorrow, our tomorrow will be a disaster.

Today it is a sad sight to see most people still attached to their
spiritual parent by umbilical cords even after many years of coming to be a
Christian.

The seven year Sabbath was the year of liberty or release where people in
subject were set free and Jesus did just that. Like the Law of the Sabbath
this law has nothing to do with the actual seventh year but was spiritual.
Seven symbolises the Holy Spirit and is to do with we releasing a person
whom we are nurturing in the Lord to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit
taking charge over that person.

Jesus taught His 12 selected disciples for about 3 years. This was not just
by knowledge but also by example and hands on training. Even though there
is no better Teacher than Jesus yet after the training the disciples were
not aware of many things. Even though they heard things from Jesus yet they
did not understand it fully, even though they spent time with Him they did
not know Him. It was only after Jesus released them to the Holy Spirit at
the time of the Holy Spirit did they really come to understand the
teachings of Jesus and came to know Him.

Today the Lord is telling us even after people are baptised in the Holy
Spirit and led by the Holy Spirit yet Church leaders and spiritual guides /
parents are bringing people to subjecting of themselves under their wrong
understanding of authority and Church hierarchy.

The Lord is saying these people may think they are doing good, but are
defaming the Name of the Lord and there is nothing that causes the Lord to
anger more than someone bring His Name down. That is why we see medical,
financial and social problems in the lives of Christian leaders and
Christian Churches.

Let us honour the Year of Release and not become gods in the lives of other
Christians.

Lord, forgive us for the times we have forgotten we work in your Vineyard
and think we are the owners of the Vineyard. There are times we think we
are bringing people to You but land up bringing people to ourselves. Jesus
as man did not say He is House but said He is the Way and the Father is the
House where we will dwell. Let us too be the way to let people pass unto
the Father...

You Lord are so Wonderful

Psalms 139:5 - Thou hast beset me behind [here after] and before, and laid
thine hand upon me.

Today being a special day for me this psalm is like thee prayer from my
heart and today's message to us becomes even more special.

We worry uselessly about petty things in life. We do not remember the
Almighty is there and His Hand is over us. Today He reminds us not to worry
or fear about anything today or even tomorrow. He tells us He was with us
in our yesterday and since He is an every growing God, who grows from glory
to glory, the same way His glory will manifest more and more in our lives.

I am actually out of words today, not that I do not have anything to say
but soo much to thank and appreciate the Lord, that where to start is an
issue.

David did an excellent job with this Psalm and every feeling he drew out. I
do not know of a better prayer than this Psalm and encourage all to do
readout this Psalm to the Lord often as your own prayer.

Father God, You are a wonderful God. You being Almighty and Creator of the
expansive universe have so much love a concern for ant like creature like
us. You love us so much that You did not hold back any limits to reach out
and bring us back to You as better beings. No words can state and no mind
can imagine the plans You have set for us. We thank You for being a
Wonderful Father and God...

He will set you on high places

Ezekiel 34:26 - And I will make them and the places round about my hill a
blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there
shall be showers of blessing.

People who are called by the Lord may at times see that things are not
happening and may even see the opposite results. Instead of drawing people
they may be causing people to flee from them all because they speak the
truth, what the Lord has instructed them to.

Understand Jeremiah was among the many Prophets around his time and he was
used by the Lord to do things which not only the people hated but also he
himself did. He saw the Lord used him more to shuffle the nest of the
people. He saw his words would cause problems and not bring peace in the
lives of the people. At times he cried and even thought of giving up, but
as he said the fire in his bones (anointing in his nature) did not allow
him.

People may come to you and give you worldly solutions to minister to the
Church, the people of God by spiritually sobering / toning down
/compromising the truth, but then do not influence you. If the Lord has put
in your heart do as the Lord leads (be sure of it and do not mistake the
flesh/worldly desires for the Spirit).

Today's message the Lord is telling such people the Lord will make them to
be a blessing for His struggling Church that does not know Him (the word
hill is used here, normally used for a place where people worshipped
unknown gods). But this will not happen today or not even tomorrow. The
Lord says at the perfect time He will cause a shower of blessings to fall.

In the preceding scriptures the most incredible words the Lord uses that
they will be in the league of the likes of David and also affirms that no
evil will come against them or harm them or dwell around them. Later the
Lord states that their efforts will bear fruit and mankind (not just people
around them but generations to come) will yield an increase because of
them. God says they will know He is a God who delivers.

Lord, You are God and at times You give some people a mission that seems to
be impossible. But You God are all knowing and all seeing, You do not err.
If You have assigned a task You also make all provisions to do it, You
strengthen the bones of the person to fulfil it. Lord, help them to be
patient and trust in You and await the season...

Do not consume others by judging them

Psalms 35:7,8,9 - For without cause have they hid for me their net
[judgment] a pit, without cause they have digged [searched] for my soul.
Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net [judgment] that
he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall. And my
soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

Yesterday I was discussing this topic with a sister and today I received
this message to share with all.

Christianity splintered into denominations due to disagreement between
Christians on understandings related to the Bible and how we complete the
mission Christ came for.

We need to look at the Apostles in the book of Acts and emulate them for
their testimony is an example for us. The book of Acts says in many places
the Christians were one with one understanding yet we see even among the
Apostles they had difference in understanding. Some were more mature than
the others.

We Christians need to get this very important thing in our heads. We as
Christians have 2 relationships one towards God and the other towards His
people. The Apostles were very clear that certain factors were non
compromise that is about who God is, who Christ is and the salvation that
comes through His sacrifice and this salvation came to us due to grace and
not due to our righteous works. No doubt after we are baptized in the Lord,
the Lord leads and enables us to be righteous and to do the works of
righteousness.

Paul is very clear in his letters who are the people who are termed heretic
and who to put away from within us.

Heretic is a person who misleads others from God that means from the basic
factors as I explained before. Even in the books of Moses the Lord calls a
person a false prophet not if one of his prophecy not coming true but one
who misleads people away from God. I am sure you will find many, many
people who prophesied and at least one of their prophecies has not come
true. This happens due to many reasons mainly due to lack of understanding
of symbols that God uses to communicate with them and also due to their own
presumptions of events of their time.

Understand things which are concerning God, God will judge us and things
concerning people we need to judge our own brethren.

Let me explain by example. If a brother falls spiritually due to lack of
control and sins against his own body which is a temple of God he is not to
be put away but to be helped. He needs support and strengthened
spiritually. But if that person due to lack of control of his lust starts
to spiritually harm a sister/s (or anyone else) then such a person needs to
be warned first privately, then in the company of 2 or 3 and then before a
Church and if that person yet does not abide then that person needs to be
treated as a heathen and put away from amongst us.

Things like Sabbath, what is clean to eat or not clean to eat, circumcision
or not, how many time does not need to pray and how a person needs to pray
etc. are things that concern that person and God. Such things we can guide
a person if we have proper understanding in that matter but at no cost are
we to judge that person, that Christ will do when that person stands before
Him on Judgement Day.

Please, please understand we are all people growing in knowledge and
understanding of the things that are of the Kingdom of God. Every day,
every hour, every minute the Lord is revealing great hidden things of His
Kingdom to His people, some of these things have not been heard by human
ears. Even if some knew some of them, they did not reveal all unto others
like Paul stated in his letters he hid certain things for others were not
ready to receive them.

If we are all limited in our understanding and none of us is yet like
Christ, then how can anyone of us judge any of our brethren when Christ
Himself did not? But if we see a brethren harming another and causing the
other to fall or to be consumed by their foolishness or deceitful hearts
then it becomes our duty as Christian to interfere and stop that person
first from harming others and then from harming him or her self.

Paul and Peter had difference in understanding on circumcision but we do
not see Paul rebuking Peter the day Paul came to understand it better. But
when Peter caused others to spiritually fall and lose their salvation due
to his lack of understanding on this matter Paul rebuked him before the
people. Peter realized his mistake and corrected himself; we see later
Peter acknowledges Paul's spiritual knowledge being greater than his.

Today's message is telling us those who cause other souls to be consumed by
their judging the spiritual lives of others will one day be consumed in
their own nets (judgement) but those who trust in the Lord for their
salvation and not in their doing or thinking will indeed receive their
salvation and rejoice in Him.

Lord, there are many who call themselves Christians, who believe in You but
yet take your place in the lives of others. They judge things that You
alone are to judge and thus cause souls to be consumed. Lord, we pray that
You bring sense to such people and save them from themselves.. .

Christian - A Man on a Mission

Matthew 28:19,20 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am
with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Yesterday I was traveling back from work and I caught the train and quickly
caught a seat. Seated opposite me was someone who stayed nearby to my place
I had not seen him, he attracted my attention and so I greeted him and
started to talk to him.

Soon I saw him do some fast funny actions then I realized he was doing the
sign of the cross and that too about 4 or 5 each in less than 2 seconds. It
looked like I was watching Bruce Lee doing the nunchaku in action. Later he
removed his beads and started his religious prayer and at short periods he
did his Bruce Lee action that too sets of 2 to 3 in sets of 4 to 5 signs at
every 10 beads and also in between when we passed by any Church near the
tracks. Seeing the speed and aggression of him doing those signs I was
afraid he would hit me or anyone else and knock that person out (just
joking) but I did keep safe distance from him. I did not say anything to
him until after he finished, I started talking to him again and spoke to
him about prayer and he was surprised to hear what prayer really is.

Today? scripture has given religious Christians a ritualistic action which
they think opens doors to God and exits doors before God. They do it before
a prayer and after a prayer as if by doing it they come before God and
after doing it again they go far away from God, looks like they love being
far from God. David said even in Hell he could not be far from God for no
place or time there exists where God is not there.

Today? message does not give any ritual or action but a mission which
Jesus gave us and which the Lord spoke to us in yesterday? message of
carrying the Cross for It gives us the right order of doing the mission (I
had missed this important scripture and God wanted us to understand and I
had not put the mission in the right order yesterday).

The scripture is divided in 3 parts

1) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations - this refers to us preaching the
Gospel to all. The main reason we do it is that His voce reaches the
children of God - His sheep and they come to Him, since we cannot identify
who His sheep are among all the people of the world until they hear His
voice and respond to it that is why we reach out to all. People mistake to
understand that unless we preach to every soul in this world the end will
not come. We need to realize many died without hearing the Gospel.

The Shepherd looks only for His lost flock and knows them by their name
(spiritual name - inner-man - and their names / finished product are
already written in the Book of Life). Bible says God will not allow any of
His sheep to perish for He is a Good Shepherd therefore waits till each and
every lost sheep is gathered.

2) Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the
Holy Spirit - there is a very important thing to learn from this part and
is something most Preachers and Christians who witness Christ make
mistakes. Understand this is not an order of who is who; the Son is not
greater than the Holy Spirit for the Spirit of the Son is also the Spirit
of the Father, therefore the Son cannot be before the Spirit. On earth the
Son called the Holy Spirit Father for He as man was born of the Holy Spirit.

The reason it is put in this order is because it is the order in which who
reveals who. We Christians make mistake of preaching Christ to people who
believe in many gods or do not believe in God. When we do that we give them
Jesus as another god (put it in small g because this Jesus they know is not
the Jesus we know) among other gods. We should first tell them about God
and Who He is and then knowing Him the person repents and realizes they
cannot come before Him. That is where Jesus Christ becomes The Way. But as
they accept Christ they realize it is impossible to walk The Way and this
is where the Holy Spirit comes in the picture. This is where we tell them
of the Holy Spirit and how the Holy Spirit will help them walk The Way.
This is where we baptize the person when he or she accepts God the Father
repents accepts the Son and His Spirit and desires to seek life. This
baptism is not just of water (Jesus Christ) but also of the Holy Spirit,
Whom we impart through laying of hands or praying over normally after their
water baptism. The Father reveals the Son and the Son reveals His Spirit.

3) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you -
the teaching here is not about giving the Gospel but teaching them the Word
of God. Most Christians pass through the 1 stage and half of the second
stage and rarely the third stage. Many a times when I share about Christ
through the books of Moses and the Prophets most Christians think I am a
heretic or come from another world. Paul was a Jew who became a Christian
he preached Jesus Christ and the Jews who heard him confirmed his teaching
with the scriptures. That time there was no Gospels or New Testaments, the
scriptures that confirmed his teachings were the Old Testament. Jesus
Himself stated Moses and the Prophets wrote about Him. One may be surprised
the whole Bible is all about Him and His people. The Old Testament is not
what people think of it or understand by reading its text. God is the same
and His Word does not change only since sinful man cannot understand His
Word one shot and still exist therefore it was / is revealed in stages.
Bible is called Word of God and not words of God.

The Gospel and Word of God should not be confused as the same. In simple
words the Gospel is the trailer and the Word of God the whole movie. Gospel
is the good news of hope of salvation through Jesus Christ; the Word of God
is the confirmation of how God executes it, it also gives an insight of
what this salvation holds for us, things which eyes have not seen or heart
has imagined.

We need to know to understand or keep the Word of God (walk in the
instructions of salvation) we need the help of the Holy Spirit and we
receive the Holy Spirit only when we accept Jesus Christ and His sacrifice
and His sacrifice becomes our sacrifice when we come to God the Father and
reach out to Him.

Lord, Your Word is complete and your plans are complete. Man fails because
they do not follow your plans and then things all crazy things that it is
your will that they fail. Lord we pray You open their eyes, un-harden their
hearts and strengthen them, that they may see, understand and follow...

Thy Word is True

Psalms 119:160 - Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy
righteous judgments endureth for ever.

The greatest hurdle that stops people from understanding the Bible is the
Bible being split into 2 parts i.e. Old Testament and New Testament. Many
Christians rarely touch or study the Old Testament; they think it is not
valid or relevant after Jesus came. The reason given is that Jesus came
with a New Covenant, a Better Covenant, a Covenant of Grace etc... Yes
Jesus did bring in a better Covenant, a Covenant of grace, but understand
it still sits on the previous Covenant and only changes the consequence of
the Covenant.

We need to understand Covenants were made with seven persons - Noah,
Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Moses and lastly Jesus. The promise given to
Noah still stands and was fulfilled through Jesus, same with Abraham,
Isaac, Jacob, David and Moses. What we can say is the Covenant was
perfected, not that the problem was with the Covenant but the problem lied
with man who is party to the Covenant, since man could not keep the
Covenant God bettered the Covenant so that man could abide by it and
receive its promises.

If one really studies the books of the Bible one will understand it is
impossible to know Christ without the Old Testament. To prove He was the
Messiah we have to quote scriptures from the Old Testament (about 300+ of
them are there). To know what Jesus achieved for us by His sacrifice we
have to go to the Old Testament and without it, it is impossible to do so.
Peter wrote by His wounds we are healed only be understanding the
scriptures from the book of Moses, so also Paul wrote that our curses are
broken by Jesus' hanging on the cross by understanding scriptures from the
books of Moses.

Jesus quoted scriptures from the Old Testament to teach and also to confirm
His mission. Paul taught the people from the Old Testament and what He
taught was all about Jesus Christ. Paul proved Jesus was Christ through the
Old Testament that is why the Jews believed Him.

What causes people to hesitate to abide by the Old Testament is the
violence done by the Israelites who were called people of God, on the other
hand Jesus shows an opposite picture.

We need to understand the Israelites (Jews) never understood or truly
abided by God's instructions. God was rarely happy with them and most of
the time they experienced the wrath of God. We see this clearly is words of
people like Stephen, Paul and also Jesus. They would take the name of
Jehovah / Yahweh but would worship some other god/gods. This is seen even
today with the Jews. Israel as a country has a national flag that has a
star (in blue) on it and the Jews are ignorant of what / Who it symbolizes.
Even though they have this symbol lifted up yet what they lift up is
something else.

Today's message tells us the Word of God is true. It does not say part of
the Word is true and the other part isn't, it says the whole Word is true.
It also says everything that God did is justified and right and an example
for ever.

Lord, You and your Word never changes. It was before what it is today and
Jesus Christ showed us how to understand your Word the right way through
His teachings as documented in the Gospels. Lord, You have given us your
Spirit of Truth and your Spirit reveals the Word for the Spirit reveals You
unto us. Lord, we pray your people forsake the teachings of man and listen
to your Spirit...

Astrology and Astronomy

Isaiah 47:13 - Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now
the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and
save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

Before I was born-again I was a lot into astrology and palmistry. I could
tell about people and about their past and future from their star signs and
reading their hands, a lot of these would come true or were confirmed by
people as true. But as I went deeper into it I realized the terminology /
study of stars or hands was really not needed I could tell about the people
by just looking at them (people called that face reading). I realized there
was a power that led me to do that and there was something evil about this
power.

I was a Catholic at that time and went to a priest at a famous retreat
center and asked him about this, he gave me a scripture which had not
relation to my question but yet I knew God hated it so I made up my mind to
give them up, the very next day I was (spiritually) baptized in Jesus
Christ.

There are two major lots of people, one who are filled with worldly
teachings, they do not questions the foundation of their understanding but
may question a lot on other factors connected to their understanding, taken
for granted the false foundation is unquestionable. These are the people
among those who believe in Astrology or other fortune telling methods; they
include not just the heathens but also include many so called 'Christians&# 39;
void of scriptures. These 'Christians&# 39;, forget about studying the Bible
they rarely read it.

Then there are another lot of people mostly Christians who know Astrology
is taboo and evil but go to the extent to even dislike Astronomy. They may
not hate Astronomy but will not encourage learning it as part of Bible
study. One may wonder what has Bible to do with Astronomy.

I liked an evangelist who shows how great God is by giving statistics of
stars, galaxies and the universe.

When God told Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the
stars, Bible says Abraham counted it (them) for righteousness. Think how
could Abraham count stars that too when we see only a part of the sky from
any one point on the surface of the earth?

Many Christians do not realize the 'star' that showed over Bethlehem when
Jesus was born was not really a star, for stars do not move like that.

Today if one studies Astronomy we are at the perfect time to capture waves
from the start of creation of the universe (which the Hubble telescope
did). From this data scientist have realized the Bible gives a very
accurate record of the various stages of creation. There are some scientist
who also teach the Bible and are doing an excellent job of bring down hills
(worldly understanding) of the people of this world. It also helps us
Christians to confirm our faith that indeed the God we worship is the
Creator.

There is also a great depth of understanding we get from studying these
heavenly bodies, about dark matter, black holes, galaxies, galactic clouds,
solar waves etc. You may wonder how they help understand scriptures.

We see Job who was blessed with great wisdom, names some of the stars /
formations in his book. We need to understand, all things God created has a
purpose for man to understand the hidden things of the Kingdom of God. That
does not mean we give undue importance to these things.

When a teacher teaches using the blackboard a student does not call the
blackboard his or her teacher. The student knows the blackboard is just a
means by which the teacher teaches us and brings us to the light of things
we did not know.

Today the Lord is talking to all those who made the blackboard their god.
He challenges them to call on these gods to save them and bring them out of
their problems.

Lord, You are God and in your wisdom You created all things. But people
without wisdom have made your creation into gods, then there are the other
lot who hate your creation, the very works of your hands. Lord, we pray You
give wisdom to your people to understand your creation and increase their
faith and discernment of spiritual things...

The Mysteries of God

Proverbs 30:4 - Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath
gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who
hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is
his son's name, if thou canst tell?

Can a Christian imagine reading this scripture from the book of Proverbs
and not knowing it is about Jesus Christ / Son of God? But this same
scripture was and is regularly read by the Jews but yet you will find this
is a mystery for them. Very few Christians interact with the Hebrew text or
know the language, but that is not the case with Jews. Jews are taught
Hebrew as part of their religious study (which is a must) yet we find the
understandings of scriptures are a mystery to them.

The same is the case with the Catholics they will confess the basic
elementary knowledge of God as mysteries even in their prayers and they
will never try to study these mysteries or understand them. For them and
for the Jews their God is a mysterious God Who does not desire to reveal
Himself or make Himself known, He keeps Himself behind a curtain forever.
Yet the Jews and Catholics will do the most foolish of things against God.
The Catholics make images of God; they depict God as an old man because the
word Ancient is associated with Him. Same with the Jews who coined a name
for their unknown God from the constant YHWH they gave Him a name Yahweh.
Then this name Yahweh denied them to know who this YHWH is. If they had not
come with the name Yahweh they would have possibly studied the word YHWH
and would have known the mystery behind today's message.

Just for the knowledge of those who do not know it. The Hebrew characters
are also rooted into ideogram like the Egyptian text characters. The word
YHWH according to their respective ideograms represents 'Behold the Hand
Behold the Nail' which represents Jesus Christ, in other words YHWH was
none other than Christ before He came as man.

What then is the name of God (Father or Son before He came as man)? One man
did ask God this question and God told him, I AM WHO I AM. When Jesus
referred to God, He did not use the name Yahweh or any other of the terms
(names) Jews use for God. He used only 2 terms one 'Father&# 39; which in Greek
means Creator, Provider, Protector and the other term He used is 'I AM'.

I too had many thoughts on the name of God until one day I was shocked to
know the Truth.

There are 2 terms when we use the term name. One is the identity and the
other is the tag. If one is in IT they would use the terms product
description and product code.

If we read the prayer of Jesus in John 17 we see Jesus states He protects
His people with the Name of the Father, the Name which the Father has given
Him. Here Jesus is not speaking about product code the name Jesus but the
product description His Nature. He states the Nature of the Father which is
in Him and it is by this Nature He protects His people, when we are in this
Nature we too have authority in the Lord.

Coming to product code, does God have a name like we humans have a name?
Let me answer it this way, did the first human have a name? No. You may be
surprise at this.

Understand the first human was called Adam which in Hebrew means man, so we
humans are all huadams, sound funny right. We have associated the Hebrew
word for man as a name to the first human. Name came only when God created
the second human.

Adam who identified all the animals according to their nature gave the name
'Woman&# 39; to the second being. The word Woman comes from the root meaning
servant / champion of man. In other words she who was made as helper for
man got the name 'champion for man'. This product code became a product
description to all females and later a new product code was given to the
second being. After the first man and woman were cursed Adam came to
realize that life is not forever for he would be deprived of eternal life
via denial of access to the Tree of Life and now life would continue only
through his wife therefore he called her Eve which means life.

We see the first human did not really have a name. Name came only with the
existence of another human. When Moses asked God (the word used is Devine
One) His name, God said 'I AM WHO I AM' but Jesus used the term 'I AM' not
'I AM WHO I AM' and that too to Himself.

We need to understand we cannot dare to ask God His name for if we do we
acknowledge the existence of another god or gods. There is only one God and
since He alone exists He has no name for He is His own Name. Jesus is the
name of the human who humbled and became man. As God Jesus too has no name
for He too is I AM for He is inseparable part of the Great I AM (The
Father).

Today's scripture does not question is what is the name of God or His Son
but tells us can They have a name.

Lord, You alone are God and there is none like You. Father from You came
the Son and is still an inseparable part of You. The only thing that
identifies You is Who You Are, your Nature and it is in your Nature all
Heavenly being have power. That is why You alone are called Holy and the
Heavenly being call out to You as Holy, Holy, Holy (thrice - Father, Son,
Spirit). Lord let us know there is power not in the word Jesus but in His
identity and Nature which is your Nature. It is only when we are in His
Nature do we have authority and Heavenly power...

The Carrying of the Cross

Joshua 1:1 - Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came
to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister,
saying,

Moses was one of the greatest Prophets for the Israelites (Jews). He became
an icon for the Jews as Mary has become for the Catholics. God knowing the
hearts of the people hid the body of Moses after he died else they would
have not let Moses body to perish, they would have carried it to the ends
of the earth and worshipped it. The same with Mary, the Lord knowing what
people would carry an idol called (in the name of) Mary spoke through His
messenger Simone stating people would pierce her soul (after her death).

Catholics are programed, that Believers (Protestants) hate Mary and when
Catholics ask me as a Believer why I hate Mary? I answer them that I love
her more than they do, that's why I do not cause pain to her soul by doing
abominations in her name. When I tell them the Mary they idolize is not the
mother of Jesus but someone else coming in her name, it shocks some but the
hard-core religious Catholic thinks it is another false propaganda of the
Believers, the reason is because they do not give importance to the Word of
God but more importance to what their Church tells them.

If we truly study the Word of God we will also know what we should carry
and why we should carry it. Jesus tells us to take up OUR CROSS and FOLLOW
HIM. Many people due to lack of understanding try to carry the wooden
crucifix of Jesus. They do not realize that Jesus Himself hardly carried
His own crucifix; He was so tortured, bruised and weak that they had to get
another person to carry it. Catholics and also many Believers think our
Cross is suffering like sickness, persecutions, poverty, oppression etc...
If these were the Cross then what did Jesus gain us by His sacrifice? Does
not Peter say by His wounds we are healed. Does not Paul say He broke the
curses by His hanging on the crucifix and becoming a curse for us (like the
bronze snake on a pole that took away the wrath of God)? Also Jesus Himself
says all our needs are provided by the Father if only we believe in Him and
not worry. So how can there be sicknesses, curses and poverty?

Frist we need to understand the Cross of Jesus so as to understand our
Cross. The Greek word 'stauros&# 39; translated as cross comes from the base /
root word 'histemi&# 39; which means cause or base or purpose. Jesus as man came
for 3 purposes one to become a sacrifice and save His people, second to
enable His people or give them authority (which means faith in its
fullness) and lastly give us His Holy Spirit.

Jesus is called the vine and we are His branches so our Cross is a part of
His Cross. As His disciples we carry forward His mission in our lives as
God as set for us. That does not mean we need to suffer like Jesus did. Yes
people did hate Him so they will hate us too, but as the grace grows we
will have greater success therefore Jesus said we will do greater things
than He did.

We as Christians are called to do carry the mission (Cross) of Jesus. Satan
who knows the power of the Cross and not wanting us to behold this power
gave Christian a symbol (a crucifix) as the Cross.

We do not have to be a sacrifice for the people, for Jesus is our eternal
sacrifice. What we need to do is make people know His sacrifice and accept
it their sacrifice so as to be saved. That is why we give the Gospel (good
news) and then teach them to walk in the Lord. The second part comes here
to build people's faith to its fullness by teaching them the Word of God.
Now to understand the Word and walk in the Word is not possible by any
human unless that person has the seed of faith (a fruit of the Holy Spirit)
and receives the Holy Spirit. This is where the third part comes to impart
the Holy Spirit by laying of hands, praying over etc. and helping them be
led by the Holy Spirit.

Why am I talking of the Cross of Christ in today's message? What has it to
do with Moses and Joshua?

We see in today's message the Lord handed over His people from Moses unto
Joshua until they crossed into the Promised Land. The Lord did not forsake
them in the desert. The same way life is a journey through the wilderness.
From the beginning God has been having His Messengers guide His people so
as to bring them to His Promised Land - Heaven. Unlike the Israelites who
did not receive the Spirit of Truth thus did not understand His Word nor
walked in His ways therefore wavered. We have received His Spirit of Truth
and are growing in Truth and in numbers, therefore have many leaders like
Moses and Joshua with us.

We need to build people like Moses build Joshua so that the mission
continues and the purpose fulfilled. We do not need to worry of defeat for
the mission itself is like the Ark of Covenant which has power to bring
down enemy armies when we carry it on our shoulders. We need to realize
none of us will reach Heaven unless we continue carrying the Cross until
the mission is completed so Jesus comes again. And the mission is to make
at least 2 amongst us to having complete authority (perfect in faith
symbolized by Joshua and Caleb) / Sons of God. Understand it was because of
2 we lost Sonship and God says only by 2 it is sufficient that all His
people will inherit back their Sonship.

People do not realize Jesus became the way, the cornerstone. By standing on
the way no one reaches anywhere. We all need to walk along the way; we all
need to align ourselves to the cornerstone. Today's message tells us to
realize the importance of handover, of building leaders to led God's people
until the mission is complete. Bible confirms these 2 people who indeed
become sons as the 2 witnesses who have power to bring fire from Heaven and
cause the whole world to fear God. It is after their death Satan is set
loose then Jesus comes.

The result is confirmed, now the sooner we fulfil this the sooner Christ
will come. The Bible tells us approximately when Christ will come but the
exact time is not written therefore to quicken it or delay it is in our
hands.

Lord, You are a merciful God. People question when your Word says sinful
nature and curses of father are passed unto the children unto 4
generations, they do not realize greater is your mercy that by the success
of 2 You have allowed thousands of generations to be saved. Lord, we pray
the people You have appointed to lead your people really be humble that
they realize the importance of building future leaders and making them
greater than themselves.. .

Astrology and Astronomy

Isaiah 47:13 - Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now
the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and
save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

Before I was born-again I was a lot into astrology and palmistry. I could
tell about people and about their past and future from their star signs and
reading their hands, a lot of these would come true or were confirmed by
people as true. But as I went deeper into it I realized the terminology /
study of stars or hands was really not needed I could tell about the people
by just looking at them (people called that face reading). I realized there
was a power that led me to do that and there was something evil about this
power.

I was a Catholic at that time and went to a priest at a famous retreat
center and asked him about this, he gave me a scripture which had not
relation to my question but yet I knew God hated it so I made up my mind to
give them up, the very next day I was (spiritually) baptized in Jesus
Christ.

There are two major lots of people, one who are filled with worldly
teachings, they do not questions the foundation of their understanding but
may question a lot on other factors connected to their understanding, taken
for granted the false foundation is unquestionable. These are the people
among those who believe in Astrology or other fortune telling methods; they
include not just the heathens but also include many so called 'Christians&# 39;
void of scriptures. These 'Christians&# 39;, forget about studying the Bible
they rarely read it.

Then there are another lot of people mostly Christians who know Astrology
is taboo and evil but go to the extent to even dislike Astronomy. They may
not hate Astronomy but will not encourage learning it as part of Bible
study. One may wonder what has Bible to do with Astronomy.

I liked an evangelist who shows how great God is by giving statistics of
stars, galaxies and the universe.

When God told Abraham that his descendants would be as numerous as the
stars, Bible says Abraham counted it (them) for righteousness. Think how
could Abraham count stars that too when we see only a part of the sky from
any one point on the surface of the earth?

Many Christians do not realize the 'star' that showed over Bethlehem when
Jesus was born was not really a star, for stars do not move like that.

Today if one studies Astronomy we are at the perfect time to capture waves
from the start of creation of the universe (which the Hubble telescope
did). From this data scientist have realized the Bible gives a very
accurate record of the various stages of creation. There are some scientist
who also teach the Bible and are doing an excellent job of bring down hills
(worldly understanding) of the people of this world. It also helps us
Christians to confirm our faith that indeed the God we worship is the
Creator.

There is also a great depth of understanding we get from studying these
heavenly bodies, about dark matter, black holes, galaxies, galactic clouds,
solar waves etc. You may wonder how they help understand scriptures.

We see Job who was blessed with great wisdom, names some of the stars /
formations in his book. We need to understand, all things God created has a
purpose for man to understand the hidden things of the Kingdom of God. That
does not mean we give undue importance to these things.

When a teacher teaches using the blackboard a student does not call the
blackboard his or her teacher. The student knows the blackboard is just a
means by which the teacher teaches us and brings us to the light of things
we did not know.

Today the Lord is talking to all those who made the blackboard their god.
He challenges them to call on these gods to save them and bring them out of
their problems.

Lord, You are God and in your wisdom You created all things. But people
without wisdom have made your creation into gods, then there are the other
lot who hate your creation, the very works of your hands. Lord, we pray You
give wisdom to your people to understand your creation and increase their
faith and discernment of spiritual things...

Wife a helper and support to her husband

Proverbs 31:25 - Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall
rejoice in time to come.

In India from November starts the marriage season, so there are marriages
after marriages happening here. I had been to my native place Mangalore for
a marriage and they being Catholic were full of traditions. Near the end of
the reception comes a tradition of giving away of the girl. Here you are
sure to find girl and her relatives crying like someone has died. The
girl's relatives cry as if they are not going to see the girl ever again,
even though by their own custom she comes home with her husband for a grand
lunch the very next day. Even after that she is not restricted from
visiting her family like it happens in Hindus, yet some part of Hindu
understanding they keep.

People lack understanding of marriage. In India Hindu traditions are so
fused into Christians (especially Catholics) that one stands to wonder if
they are Christians or Hindus.

In marriage boy's family does not gain and the girl's family lose. In fact
both gain for the boy becomes a son to the family of the girl and the girl
a son to the family of the boy that is why they exchange rings. The rings
are not sign of love but a sign of authority in a family and in old days
the name of the family was written on the ring. We see in the parable of
Prodigal Son on return of the son the father puts a ring on the son to
restore his right in the family.

When God made Eve, God made her as a helper (help meet) for Adam. God did
not say Adam you are above Eve nor said Eve you are above Adam. Adam led
Eve because he was the more mature among the two; He had more time with God
face to face than Eve did and God gave instructions through Him.

Marriage is not a private club where man is the boss and wife a member.
Marriage is a mission wherein two people fulfil the plan of God in their
lives to form a family and bring up souls (their own children) in the Lord
that is why it is called a Church.

When God created man and woman in spirit both were made in the image of God
(Genesis 1:27), but when He made them in the flesh He first made man and
then out of man He made woman. When He made woman He took a bone out of man
and made woman. Bone symbolizes nature or character, that's why no bone of
Jesus was allowed to be broken. So we see in the physical man is made in
the image of God and woman in the image of man that is why although they
are alike yet they have some differences in their physical structure and
that is why man does the role of Christ and loves his wife as Christ loves
His people. This is only for understanding, but in spirit both are equal
and in the image of God.

Proverbs 31:10-31 gives an excellent picture of a wife, of her role in the
family. We see no distinguishing only we need to keep in mind the aspects
of the woman in society or outside world else there is nothing that
differentiates between husband and wife. That is what is called a help meet
for each other.

Lord, even though in spirit we are alike and as Angels yet in the natural
You made us differently so as to understand your plans and the working of
your Kingdom which is hidden. Lord Jesus You did not come to rule but to
serve. Even though You were King yet You became a servant for the love of
your people. Today our Churches are shaky because marriages are shaky.
Lord, heal the marriages of your people. Let them know the mission called
marriage as to why they come together here on earth even though in Heaven
they would not be married or husbands and wives but be the same brethren as
the Angels...

Zion will blossom

Isaiah 35:2 - It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and
singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of
Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the LORD, and the excellency
of our God.

Let me expound the scripture before getting to the message.

The word translated as abundance is the same word blossom together they do
mean blossom abundantly but when one goes into the grammar if the words the
first shows incomplete and second complete.

The word singing notes as joyful singing

Lebanon means whiteness and symbolizes righteousness

Excellence here means majesty in sense of beauty

Carmel comes from the root word that means to be fruitful

Sharon comes from the root word that means to be upright

Zion symbolizes the mature people of God or in other words Sons of God or
the real Israel [Prince of God].

Isaiah 35:2 [expounded] - It shall blossom, blossom and rejoice even with
joy and joyful singing: the glory of righteousness shall be given unto it,
the majesty of fruitfulness and uprightness, they shall see the glory of
the LORD, and the excellency of our God.

Today's message gives us 2 important facts one that God is going to mature
some of His people from stage to stage to make them into Sons of Gods
having power with God. The other fact is they will give glory unto God
because His righteousness with be seem in them.

Something very beautiful we learn here is about righteousness. We all think
righteousness means to be about being in right standing with God, but here
we learn something new. Here righteousness has 2 factors one part of it is
to be in right standing with God [Sharon] and the other factor is it also
needs to be fruitful [Carmel].

It is very important to know if we are walking in righteous or are
religious. One leads us to God and the other to disaster. Both of them may
make us feel we are doing what God has told us to do but the difference
comes when we test by what we are doing is it causing us to be fruitful.

Righteousness is not just about obeying what God has said. If we follow the
instructions in the letter than we become religious people and land up
getting destroyed, but if we follow the instructions in spirit then we will
be fruitful and truly righteous. The glory of God may not be seen
immediately but grow stage by stage as we grow into mature Sons.

Lord, You are Almighty God, You are Holy and Righteous. You desire us your
children to be like You to be a part of You. Lord, we pray as Christians we
do not get fooled into being religious but be blessed with wisdom to walk
your way of righteousness by keeping your Word and being fruitful in You...

Who is this Archangel Michael?

Daniel 10:21 - But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of
truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael
your prince.

One can gauge the sad state of Bible study of Christians by this one
question - who is this Archangel Michael?

Only 3 books mention Him - Daniel, Revelation and Jude.

The name Michael means �ne Who is Like God�

I would not say much but will just quote scriptures and let them speak for
themselves.

Book of Daniel:-

Daniel 10:13-14, 20-21

13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia [means pure / splendid]
withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one [first] of the
chief [former] princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the
kings of Persia.

14 Now I am come to make thee understand what shall befall thy people in
the latter days: for yet the vision for days.

20 Then said he, Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and now will I
return to fight with the prince of Persia: and when I am gone forth, lo,
the prince of Grecia [comes from root meaning winebibbers] shall come.

21 - But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth:
and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your
prince.

Facts: The years between Abraham [the founder of the Jewish Church] and
Jesus is about 2100 years

Revelation 17:3-6

3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a
woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having
seven heads and ten horns.

4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with

to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also
which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which
are asleep.

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the

Jude 1:14-16

delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second
death.

Book of Jude:-

Jude 1:9 - Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he

Deuteronomy 34:5-6

5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab,

Revelation 1:13-18

the end of these things?

9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed
till the time of the end.

John 8:56-58

56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

17 And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and
all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household
after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and
judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of
him.

20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and
because their sin is very grievous;

21 I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according
to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.

22 And the men turned their faces from thence, and went toward Sodom: but
Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

33 And the LORD went his way, as soon as he had left communing with
Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

Philippians 2:5-8

5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with
God:

7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a
servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became
obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Hebrews 9:26 - For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of
the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put
away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

Revelation 13:8 - And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,
whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the
foundation of the world.

[Prayer Starter]

Lord, there were many during your time who took your name but only a few
knew You. Even today man is far from You. There are millions who call on
your name but very few who know You. Lord we pray they know the sacrifice
You became from the foundation of creation and like John said all the
things You have done if written in books there would be no paper to hold
all that is to be written and this is true even today. We pray Lord people
know your sacrifice and be ready when You come with your Angels to stand
before You...

This prayer we make in Jesus�Name, Amen.
