ury the dead

Genesis 23:8,9 - And he communed with them, saying, If it be your mind
that I should bury my dead out of my sight; hear me, and intreat for
me to Ephron the son of Zohar, that he may give me the cave of
Machpelah, which he hath, which is in the end of his field; for as
much money as it is worth he shall give it me for a possession of a
buryingplace amongst you.

Many Christians have a very wrong understanding of what happens to
people after they die and due to this they are deceived and follow
beliefs, practices or traditions which anger God. They communicate
with spirits of the dead which the Lord forbids in the Bible. It is
another matter that the spirit they communicate with is not the person
but something else that comes in the name of the person.

We read in the Bible people after death were buried, but in some cases
if the person was of great value like a Man of God or like in today's
scripture Abraham did with the body of Sarah, they kept their body in
caves. Was Abraham breaking the law by not burying the body so as to
let the body go back to the dust as given in scriptures?

We need to understand all parts of us have a spiritual understanding
(every organ or physical part, their placement and interactions tells
us volumes of the Lord which is the image of Gods in us) and when man
sinned this image got corrupted. In science sickness originates from
the corruption of the perfect DNA in man or from malfunctioning of the
system in man due to foreign bodies or environment.

Flesh symbolizes understanding and the Hebrew word translated as flesh
has that meaning. When Jesus said east my flesh, it had many meaning
and one of them was to eat His Word and in no way or place did He mean
to eat His real human flesh. It was the corrupt mind of the Jews that
thought in that direction. If you read in genesis the curse of flesh
becoming dust was a curse after sin came into man. It was for this
reason the flesh of Jesus was not allowed corruption and He alone
resurrected in the flesh. We are not perfect as Jesus so our flesh
goes to dust but we do not, the Bible says we sleep in Him to enter
Heaven when He comes.

Coming to today's message the reason people kept the bodies in caves
was to maintain the bones of those who died. Bones in spirit symbolize
character therefore no bone of Jesus was allowed to be broken.

Great people of God are example of character for us and we should
carry them as example for us but the early people lacked understanding
and took the symbol (object) not its symbolic understanding. The bones
of the dead were given great importance and became religious objects.
God gets very angry when people do that and for that reason God hid
the body of Moses and did not let the Israelites find his body (bones)
till this day. Another example is putting of dust or ash on the head,
like during times of sorrow symbolized man was still under the curse
of Adam. We have Christians even today who do this even though with
their mouth they claim Jesus broke the curse but their actions
contradict their words.

People without Spirit or spiritual understanding give importance to
the bodies or part of the bodies of the dead. They roam around with
parts of bodies of people thinking they are glorifying the Lord but
they do not understand they are bringing God to anger.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ please understand we humans are
spirit being living our earthly lives in this body of flesh and bones.
This world is temporary and everything here is symbolic. Since our
understanding and our character is not perfect but under construction
by the Holy Spirit, our flesh and our bones goes to dust but we that
believe in Jesus Christ do not, for He broke the curse of prison
(hell) for us who believe in Him.

Let us take the good understanding and the good characters of those in
the Lord and passed this journey, let us stop carrying their bodies or
their bones and anger God.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, when You made us we were not restricted to our bodies, but when
sin came into us we lost Truth and Righteousness therefore were
imprisoned in this body of flesh and bones. With the working of the
Holy Spirit – the Spirit of Truth we will receive the Truth in us and
when Jesus comes again we will receive His Righteousness as a covering
and once again be like we were before sin came into us. We will then
get access again to the Tree of Life and thus have access to eternal
life. Lord we pray for those who believe in You but have not yet
received your Spirit or have not let your Spirit work in them for they
are still behind tomb stones of traditions and wrapped in deceit.
Lord, we pray You move these tomb stones and unwarp their minds and
let your light shine in them...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 13:35-37
35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer
thine Holy One to see corruption.
36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of
God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.

John 19:36 - For these things were done, that the scripture should be
fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

Genesis 2:7,19,21,22
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the
field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see
what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living
creature, that was the name thereof.
21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he
slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead
thereof;
22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a
woman, and brought her unto the man.

Genesis 3:9-11, 17-19
9 And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid,
because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten
of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice
of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee,
saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake;
in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou
shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return
unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and
unto dust shalt thou return.

To MountZion - Page 28 Empty Re: To MountZion

Man's ways are not God's ways nor are his directions

Ezekiel 40:23 [KJV - AV] - And the gate of the inner court was over
against the gate toward the north, and toward the east; and he
measured from gate to gate an hundred cubits.

What we received as today's scripture if checked in different
translations would be put in different ways. I quote some of the other
versions below:-

[ASV] 23 - And there was a gate to the inner court over against the
other gate, both on the north and on the east; and he measured from
gate to gate a hundred cubits.

[NASB] 23 - The inner court had a gate opposite the gate the gate on
the north as well as the gate on the east; and he measured a hundred
cubits from gate to gate.

[ESV & RSV] 23 - And opposite the gate on the north, as on the east,
was a gate to the inner court. And he measured from gate to gate, a
hundred cubits.

[NKJV] 23 - A gate of the inner court was opposite the northern
gateway, just as the eastern gateway; and he measured from gateway to
gateway, one hundred cubits.

[NIV] 23 - There was a gate to the inner court facing the north gate,
just as there was on the east. He measured from one gate to the
opposite one; it was a hundred cubits.

Some may say what is the difference between these scriptures? If you
notice up to the stating of the gate being opposite the north gate is
all okay but the confusion comes when stating the east gate.

Note the scripture talks of one gate being opposite the north gate now
the translators got confused when the mentioning of the east gate came
into picture. If the gate is opposite the north gate, how can it be
opposite the east gate?

The most accurate translation between all these is the NASB for it
states it exactly how the Lord puts it. It talks of one gate which is
the entrance to the inner court and it states this gate is opposite
the north gate as well as the east gate. You may ask how is this gate
opposite both the north and the east?

I have mentioned before these dimensions of the Temple are the
dimensions of the inner-man which the Lord desires. First let me state
to you the ways of the Lord are very simple and not like the ways of
man. We live in a world that has four directions north, south, east
and west. The Kingdom of God has only two directions one that goes
towards Him and the other far from Him.

To confuse you more there is a Hebrew word 'teyman' <08486> translated
as south means 'towards the right' and we know right means towards the
west. So is south also west?

You will understand more the words used for east and north.

The Hebrew word used here is 'qadiym' <06921> is one of the many words
translated as east. This word has the root meaning 'to confront'.
Similarly the Hebrew word 'tsaphown' <06828> translated as north comes
from the root meaning 'to hide' or 'secret'.

We need to understand God is Light and darkness is defined as
obstruction to light. God is from the beginning and darkness came when
Lucifer and the other fallen angels obstructed the Light of God and
made their own ways. Secondly in the Kingdom of God the plans of God
are revealed to all. We can experience this example with the Bible.
For man all that he needs to know are already there in the Word of
God. It is our sin and our flesh (carnal minds) that prevents us from
knowing His plans. Therefore the Lord came as man to be our
Sacrificial Lamb to cleanse us of sin so as to receive His Spirit. It
is by the working of the Holy Spirit of we stop become rebellious
children and flow in His Light, that the Holy Spirit reveals the Word
unto us and we know the plans of God and have the Light shine in us.

The distance between the South/West and the North/East is given as
100cubits. A cubit is the length of the human hand. The number 100 in
Hebrew is a metaphor meaning large number. The scripture defines to us
the distance between right and wrong is not small but very large. We
as humans may take a small decision to correct ourselves but for
Kingdom of God this is considered a great leap therefore the Heavens
rejoice when we do even small corrections in our lives.

The Lord is telling us today to stop making excuses in life and stop
trying different ways. He is telling us there is only one way to Him
and Jesus Christ paved this way for us. The only way is by
surrendering to Him and by the understanding of His Kingdom; for this
let us surrender to the sacrifice of Jesus and to His Word and let the
Holy Spirit help us by working in us and revealing them unto us. The
small decisions of correcting our lives give the Kingdom of God great
joy.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, Your ways are not the ways of man. Your Kingdom is not of this
world. This world is a rebellious world corrupted by evil and
therefore distorts the Truth and confuses man. Lord, we pray that more
and more of your children surrender to You and your Kingdom. That they
let the Holy Spirit work in us and help us overcome our rebellious
nature and open our minds to the Truth...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Ezekiel 20:46 - Son of man, set thy face toward the south <08486>,
and drop thy word toward the south <01864>, and prophesy against the
forest of the south <05045> field;

Proverbs 16:2 - All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but
the LORD weigheth the spirits.

Jeremiah 17:10 - I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to
give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of
his doings.

Go to the land where the rivers are spoiled

Isaiah 18:2 - That sendeth ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of
bulrushes upon the waters, saying, Go, ye swift messengers, to a
nation scattered and peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning
hitherto; a nation meted out and trodden down, whose land the rivers
have spoiled!

Yesterday after a very long time I was watching a movie. At that time
I did not know why I was watching such a movie, I put it on because I
love to see the special effects and the technical creativity that goes
in making these movies. But then today I had a feeling that the Lord
would want me to share what I saw in the movie and when I got the
message, it was a bull's eye.

I was watching this movie about a battle about goodness between Greek
gods, fallen gods and warrior men. What amazed me was their concept of
god and about being immortal. Their gods where like superman and
spiderman, comic books heroes; like humans having special powers. I
could not understand the difference between their mortal and
immortals; they both could die and grow old (the word mortal means to
lack life).

This spoiled understanding is not only with the Greek and Romans who
have the same 12 gods with different names; this corrupt understanding
is also seen in all religions.

What is very important to note is, the Lord does not use the word
fantasy but the word 'spoilt' or 'corrupt understanding' which means a
distorted truth. When understands more of the Bible and of the Kingdom
of God one will be shock who Satan has distorted precious Heavenly
understanding to mislead people. He does not say complete lies but
distorted truth for he is the master of lies.

When God created man He took earth (dust) and formed man and put
breath the spirit of man into it, bringing it to become a living
being. Man today takes earth and tries to put spirits into it so as to
bring it to life and make gods. The only thing they do not understand
is the spirit that they are connected with are evil spirits. The so
called gods they worship are the fallen angels (evil spirits).

When God created everything in this world He did in an image. Some
were in the image of His Kingdom which He wrote as 'His Kind' and the
others in the image of the fallen angels (evil spirits) and written as
'their kind'. It was man alone whom He made in His image. Now, this
very man who has a corrupt image of God due to sin is trying to make
gods in the image of their kind (kind of the evil spirits). That is
the reason God in His very second commandment instructed man not to
make any idol of any being in hell, on earth or in Heaven and worship
it or serve it. It also includes idols of Jesus or God Himself should
not be worshiped or served, meaning put candles or flowers or offered
prayers to because we lack understanding of spiritual images.

Since Satan wants man to be destroyed by the wrath of God, he makes
man to do what God said no to. That is the reason in the second stage
of the Church (after the time of the Apostles) he made the Church
remove the second commandment and break one of the later commandments
into two so as to keep the number 10. He knows man would not take the
efforts to read the Word of God and understand it so as to catch his
deceit. Satan has thus been very successful in making man make statues
of characters they think are of the Bible and worship or serve them
(when their eyes open they will be shocked, as to who the images they
make really are).

The Lord is telling us to go to these corrupt lands as His messengers
and open their eyes to what they are doing. We are to take the true
understanding of God unto these lands of corrupt understandings.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, the evil one comes as a serpent, he deceives your people so as
to get them destroyed by your wrath. He does not give total lies but
being the master of lies he distorts the Truth and deceives. Lord,
open our minds to the Truth, fill us with your Spirit so as to discern
Satan deceitful ways and give us the courage to go fearlessly to the
spoil lands and shine your Light of Truth...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

To the One Who Loves

Philemon

In today's message the Lord is telling us to meditate on the outcome
of Paul's letter to Philemon.

This letter was written in 60AD (AD means Anno Domini or Year of the
Lord it actually does not refer to the accurate birth of Jesus for
Jesus was born somewhere in 5 or 4BC). Paul wrote this letter in his
old age from a Roman prison.

This letter is written to Philemon concerning his onetime slave
Onesimus. It seems from the letter that Onesimus had robed from
Philemon, which at that time for a slave was a punishment of death.

Paul was instrument in bringing both Philemon and Onesimus to the Lord
thus plays the role of reconciling both of them.

The name Philemon although has been translated as one who kisses
actually means one who loves for it comes from the root word Phileo
which means love. Even the scriptures in John 15, in which Jesus calls
us His love or associate has been wrongly translated as friend. The
same with Isaiah 41:8 & James 2:23 where the Lord called Abraham His
love has also been translated wrongly as friend.

The name Onesimus means profitable or useful.

Paul here plays the role of sending Onesimus who was legally due to
death to Philemon so as to be accepted as one's own. Paul openly tells
Philemon that he is in need of Onesimus. Paul here starts the letter
not as a person who has rightful authority but who himself is a slave
under bonds.

When we look at this scenario we see Paul did what Christ did for us.
Legally we too were due to die a permanent death for what we have done
but Christ played the role of mediator, reconciling us to the Father -
the One Who Loves. We too are not referred to as any object or pet but
like Onesimus are called profitable or useful by the Lord.

The Lord, the One Who Loves is telling each one of us who have the
seed of faith in us, that we are useful for Him and He has made us for
He needs us. He has plans for us in our lives and has shown us the
extent He can go to bring us back to Him. He says He has not finished
with His efforts to reconcile us to Himself, therefore has given us
His Spirit to help us in our efforts to come to Him.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You love us for You are love. You did not make us just for no
reason but to be of need for Yourself. You are Omnipotent and do not
lack let You call us useful. Lord Jesus we thank You for making
yourself as one of us so that we could be accepted by the Father. Help
us Lord like Paul did between Onesimus and Philemon; we too may do
between your lost sheep and You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Philemon 1:1,8-11,15- 18
1 Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto
Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,
8 Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee
that which is convenient,
9 Yet for love's sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as
Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.
10 I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:
11 Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to
thee and to me:
15 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou
shouldest receive him for ever;
16 Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved,
specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and
in the Lord?
17 If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.
18 If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;

Isaiah 41:8 - But thou, Israel, art my servant, Jacob whom I have
chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend / love [‘ahab - which means
love].

James 2:23 - And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham
believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he
was called the Friend / Love of God.

[The Greek word Philo- means friend or associate and comes from the
word Phileo which means love, since James was referring to Isaiah
41:8, its source meaning also needs to be maintained]

John 15:12-16
12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life
for his friends / love / associates [Philo].
14 Ye are my friends / love / associates [Philo], if ye do whatsoever
I command you.
15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not
what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends / love / associates
[Philo]; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made
known unto you.
16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you,
that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should
remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may
give it you.

The Peacemakers

Matthew 5:9 - Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God.

Today the Lord is telling us about being peacemakers so that we become
sons of God. To become peacemakers we need to understand the meaning
of peace.

Peace is defined as - the absence of hostility or conflict.

Why do need peace?

The main reason we need peace is because peace allows true prosperity.
It is only in times of peace that life prospers in all areas of
goodness. Evil does not grow when peace exist therefore the first
thing evil does is create hostility and conflicts.

Now comes the amusing part. There are many people who pray for world
peace and peace of a country. These people actually make foolish
prayers which will never get answered. They need to first read the
Bible before making such prayers.

The Bible clearly talks of calamities, destructions, persecutions,
evil manifesting greatly especially during the last days. If these
people's prayers were to be answered then the Lord will need to
release the second edition of the Bible with 40percent of the Bible
changed. Making such prayers is as good as praying to the Lord to
bring Satan to repentance!

The Lord knows Satan will never repent even though he has been given
due time, therefore his end after the period is already written.

The word 'nation' in the Bible does not mean country but a group of
people with something common; like their belief, or place of
habitation, or an ancestor, etc...

The Bible says peace comes from the Lord. Jesus is called the Prince
of Peace. The word prince translated from the Hebrew word also means
ruler and keeper. Peace actually comes from the Lord and it is only
through man Jesus Christ that we can keep this peace in our lives.
Therefore to have peace we need to have the Lord God and have Jesus
Christ in our lives. The only way this world or our country can have
peace is when they have the Lord God and Jesus Christ in them. The
first is impossible but the second could be.

Today's scripture does not talk about people who promote worldly peace
where they ask others to turn their face away from problems or bury
their heads into to grounds like ostriches hoping all problems will
disappear. Today's scripture talks of people who promote true peace,
in other words promote the Lord Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace and
these people are called sons of God.

There may be strive in this world but we still can have peace in us if
we have the Lord Jesus Christ in us. We can also have peace in our
country only if we have the Lord Jesus Christ as the Lord of our
country, which means the people of the country accept Him as their
Lord and Master. There is no way perfect peace can exist in our
country when we have people who worship idols and manmade gods for
they cause the wrath of God to come on them and their surroundings.
The more people of our country come to the Lord the more peace we can
have in our country.

If we want to be peacemakers and be called sons of God we need to let
people know the Author and Keeper of peace.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, peace comes from You. You are the King of Peace and as man Jesus
You made it possible for man to know You and therefore as man Jesus
are called the Prince of Peace. Lord Jesus, You are the way to the
Father, You took away the wrath from us by taking it on yourself on
the crucifix. You made peace between the Father and us by your Blood.
Lord, help us have more peace in our lives by knowing You more and
more. Help us bring people into the lives of others around us by
brining You into their lives...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Isaiah 9:6 - For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and
the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be
called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,
The Prince of Peace.

Matthew 24:4-14
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not
troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not
yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in
divers places.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and
shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world
for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Daniel 8:23-25
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors
are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding
dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he
shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall
destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his
hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace [worldly
peace] shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince
of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

Become wrestlers

Deuteronomy 26:50 - These are the families of Naphtali according to
their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and
five thousand and four hundred.

In today's message the Lord talks of Naphtali. There were some things
very interesting to note of Naphtali about the prophecy spoken to him
and was fulfilled by Jesus - that godly words will be spoken in
Naphtali and most of the time Jesus preached in the territory given as
inheritance to Naphtali.

Why was such a prophecy given unto Naphtali and why did Jesus take
that effort to fulfil it? What is the benefit such a prophecy?

In the Bible the Lord does not do anything without spiritual
understanding and purpose for the salvation of man.

The word Naphtali means 'wrestling' and the prophecy is to do with
this understanding which helps us in our salvation.

The Lord is telling us we need to become wrestlers. Wrestlers, does
not mean physical wrestlers but spiritual wrestlers. We need to
wrestle with our inner-man and nail him down. The Lord is telling us
even if we are not fully successful but at the process of nailing our
inner-man the Lord will give His Word unto us.

We wonder why some people get revelations or why the Holy Spirit talks
to them and not to us. They may not be fully perfect people but still
we see them in communication with the Lord. The only reason of this is
that they are wrestling with their inner-man. They may sometimes even
have failures but at the end the Lord will work with them to overcome
their inner-man.

You want the Lord to talk to you or do you want to have revelations
coming to you start becoming wrestlers.

[Prayer Starters]
Lord, You have never asked us to fight the battle ourselves but always
reiterated that You will be party with us in our battles. You ask us
to wrestle but it is You Who becomes our strength. It may be us in our
body but in us it is You Who do everything to help us nail our
inner-man and overcome our Adam nature and this world. Lord, we want
to hear You in auditable voice like Moses did and see You in visions
like the other Anointed Men. Help us to wrestle our inner-man and be
in communication with You and experience your power in us...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 49:21 - Naphtali is a hind let loose: he giveth goodly words.

Romans 3:3-11
3 For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make
of none effect the faithfulness of God?
4 God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it
is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest
prevail when thou comest into judgment.
5 But if our unrighteousness commendeth the righteousness of God,
what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who visiteth with wrath? (I
speak after the manner of men.)
6 God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
7 But if the truth of God through my lie abounded unto his glory, why
am I also still judged as a sinner?
8 and why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm
that we say), Let us do evil, that good may come? whose condemnation
is just.
9 What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we before
laid to the charge both of Jews and Greeks, that they are all under
sin;
10 as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one;
11 There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God;

Not for our righteousness

Deuteronomy 9:4 - Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD
thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my
righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land: but
for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from
before thee.

We as Christians are called to love even our enemies but when people
do any harm to us or to someone concerned we cry unto the Lord asking
for justice for it is written it is He Who will take justice. It is at
these times we think He listens to our cry because we are good.

In today's message the Lord wants to correct us; the reason He
punishes our enemies not because we are righteous, meaning because we
follow His commandments and do according His will.

As we grow in more understanding of scripture we realize before what
we knew as being perfect and things we did, was not exactly to what
the Lord asked of us; so the question does not arise of us perfectly
keeping His will. We only better the process according to our
understanding of His will.

When God punishes people it is not because someone else is good but
because those people whom He punishes are bad. We will understand this
in Elijah's prayer to the Lord to stop the rain from falling. When
Elijah prayed he did not say 'Lord, because I am a Man of God, You
hear my prayer and stop the rain', nor did he say 'Lord, because I did
all these things for You therefore You hear my prayer and stop the
rain'. When he prayed he knew the Lord would stop the rain because
they were sinning greatly against Him and therefore had no right to
receive His mercy. In Deuteronomy the Lord committed a person who sins
will lose his blessing and be under curse so Elijah took this promise
of the Lord since the Lord is a righteous God who hates sin and keeps
His promise.

The message to us does not only concern someone being punished, it is
also concerning our attempts to buy our prayer request from the Lord
by doing things. Many think by fasting we can buy our prayer request
from the Lord. Fasting does not answer prayers, but by fasting our
faith gets built and it's this faith that draws grace and it's this
grace that answers prayers. Similarly repentance does not answer
prayer but by repentance we come under the grace of God and it is this
grace that answers prayers.

What the Lord is telling us today is that we cannot buy our prayer
request or justice, it is only by the grace and righteousness of the
Lord we can.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, there are times we foolishly though since we were good You heard
our prayer. There were also times when we thought by doing things we
could buy the answers to our prayers. We ask You Lord to forgive us
for those times. Today You spoke to us that it by your grace and
righteousness that we receive the answers to our prayers. We know Lord
by faith tapping into your abundant grace, by your promises and by
your righteousness we can always defeat the enemy and get the answer
to our prayers...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Deuteronomy 9:3-5
3 Understand therefore this day, that the LORD thy God is he which
goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and
he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them
out, and destroy them quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee.
4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath
cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD
hath brought me in to possess this land: but for the wickedness of
these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee.
5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart,
dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these
nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and
that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers,
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

1 Kings 16:30-43; 17:1-6
30 And Ahab the son of Omri did evil in the sight of the LORD above
all that were before him.
31 And it came to pass, as if it had been a light thing for him to
walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, that he took to wife
Jezebel the daughter of Ethbaal king of the Zidonians, and went and
served Baal, and worshipped him.
32 And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he
had built in Samaria.
33 And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD God
of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.
34 In his days did Hiel the Bethelite build Jericho: he laid the
foundation thereof in Abiram his firstborn, and set up the gates
thereof in his youngest son Segub, according to the word of the LORD,
which he spake by Joshua the son of Nun.
1 And Elijah the Tishbite, who was of the inhabitants of Gilead, said
unto Ahab, As the LORD God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand,
there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.
2 And the word of the LORD came unto him, saying,
3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the
brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have
commanded the ravens to feed thee there.
5 So he went and did according unto the word of the LORD: for he went
and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.
6 And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and
bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.

Deuteronomy 11:16-17
16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye
turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
17 And then the LORD'S wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up
the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her
fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the
LORD giveth you.

To MountZion - Page 28 Empty Re: To MountZion

Being persistent

Luke 23:23 - And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he
might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests
prevailed.

Yesterday I was with a beautiful couple who came from Australia. The
husband born Indian had gone there to settle down. They were sharing
with me how the Lord was working in their lives. But their ride was
not smooth, for they did have many bumps on the road and even car
breakdowns but their journey never stopped and the reason of this was
persistence.

Persistence does not mean to be determined or focused on getting the
job completed; this definition is what the world tells us. In the
Kingdom of God persistence has another meaning for in the Kingdom of
God victory is already written therefore being persistent means
remaining moving on the path.

The Lord is pleased not more with how big events we organize in His
Name or we coming on national television to witness Him, but the Lord
is more pleased when we diligently do even the small things for His
Kingdom, for His glory.

Satan too knows this secret and we see in today's message how the
people along with the chief priest wore down Pilate by keeping on
shouting that Jesus be crucified. Even though Pilate realized he was
making a mistake yet he lost to their persistence.

One secret I like to share with you is how to overcome the persistence
of Satan. Firstly there is a big difference with our being persistent
and the world being persistent. We work with our victory already in
place and they need to work towards creating their victory. They need
to struggle to earn victory and therefore need to work towards being
persistent and earning victory. In our case we do not need to earn our
victory it is already done, we just need to remain persistent.

For the second part I will need to share with you something in Bible
image study. Like I told you all things are made in an image, either
in the image of things of God's Kingdom (His kind) or things after the
fallen angels (their kind).

In this world temptation can be easily understood by studying the
mosquito. Most deaths in this world are not due to accidents or great
sickness but more due to the tiny mosquito. The most effective weapon
against the mosquito is a simple net. Remaining in a net prevents us
from getting bitten by a mosquito. The Word of God is a net. All
scriptures connect together in one understanding. Even though we have
several books yet they all connect together as one and called The
Word. Same as when we join 2 or more nets together we still call it as
a net, not nets.

Another important aspect towards fighting mosquitoes is getting rid of
still water. Still waters represent sin or sinful life and if we keep
living a sinful life we are more likely to fall keep getting tempted
more and more. Similarly the less we fall in sin the less we encounter
temptation.

Jesus as man did not get tempted or more correctly put temptation had
no effect on Him. The only place we read about His real encounter with
temptation is when Satan tempted Him in the wilderness. But for Him to
come to a state of being in a position of getting tempted the Spirit
of God had to lead Him into the desert for 40days without food and
water. Yet this temptation had no victory on Him because He remained
in the Word. Jesus used scriptures to defeat the mosquitoes Satan
tried on Him. Since no sin was in Him the temptation could not last
long. Later the Angels came to strengthen Him spiritually by
ministering to Him.

Another very important factor to remember is the life span of the
mosquito is very short (from a week to a few months). Thus if we
diligently keep using the strategy of the net and no still water we
are sure to nearly eradicate mosquitoes from our lives.

But the problem comes is that it is not possible for us weak in spirit
to completely eradicate still water. Therefore as we keep fighting to
reduce the still waters, we also need to avoid the existing still
waters from being used for breeding temptation. To do this we use the
solution of pouring oil over the still water.

Oil in the Bible has 2 meaning one which is connected to our spirit
and other to our inner-man / mind. The pouring of the Holy Spirit
(done by i.e. laying of hands or while worshiping the Lord) gives us
the ability to overcome, this is the anointing we receive in our
spirit. In the weaker stages this anointing is difficult therefore the
Lord suggests us also the other anointing with oil which means
covering our minds or strengthening our inner-man with testimonies.
People, who do not understand the meaning of anointing with oil, take
real oil and pour on heads of people. They behave like the people of
the Old Testament who lacked understanding or spiritual maturity, like
the people Paul poke to (when Paul told them oil he specified olive
oil - which had symbolic meaning).

Thus to overcome the persistence of Satan we need to remain in the
Word and remain anointed like the Israelites did when they carried the
Ark which had the Word (the Commandments) , their testimonies (pot of
manna) and spiritual anointing (the budded rod of Aaron).

Our Victory is already written all we need to do is remain persistent
and overcome Satan by carrying our Ark.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You made all things available for us, even our victory is not
earned by us but given by You. You started the job of overcoming
darkness when You made man and coming as man You wrote the final end
that is our victory. All You ask of us Lord is to be diligent and
remain persistent in your Kingdom working for the glory of our Father
in Heaven. Lord, help us remain in your Word and to be anointed always
in mind and spirit...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 23:20-25
20 Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.
21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.
22 And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done?
I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him,
and let him go.
23 And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be
crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.
24 And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.
25 And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was
cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to
their will.

Matthew 4:1-11
1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be
tempted of the devil.
2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was
afterward an hungred.
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of
God, command that these stones be made bread.
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by
bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of
God.
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on
a pinnacle of the temple,
6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down:
for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee:
and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash
thy foot against a stone.
7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the
Lord thy God.
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and
sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt
fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is
written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou
serve.
11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and
ministered unto him.

Are you able?

Able

Today I received just the word 'able' and many of us have a very wrong
understanding on this word in the Bible. One of the main reasons we
fail in our spiritual and cosmic life is the reason we try to do
things ourselves.

In the Bible especially the KJV translation uses the word 'shall' in
many places. In instructions the Lord gives us when we find the word
'shall' we think this instruction is for us and we try to do it and
then struggle.

First thing we need to understand the word 'shall' is not used with
'I' or 'you' but with 'we', so everywhere we see the word 'shall' the
instruction is not only for us but also for the Lord Himself. He is
telling us that He will be party of making this happen, along with us.
He will work with us as a team to make sure this task is completed
successfully.

The Lord is omnipotent and everything is possible for Him, for He is
able. When it comes to us we too are able not because we are
omnipotent but because He who is omnipotent is with us and as a team
we are able.

If we are struggling in any area in our lives we need to ask ourselves
are we working with the Lord as a team or are we trying by our own
selves?

It is time we put a big STOP sign on our single lanes for we all know
how long and unsuccessful this lanes are. Let us as a team work with
the One Who is Able and thus walk on the road of eternal success.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, forgive us for the times we have tried to do things and failed
again and again. We took the small successes as victories and then
found them turn as greater problems. Lord, help us to work with You by
letting You work in us and through us. It is not we, but You in us and
through us that we can have true success over all things for You are
Able, and because of You we are able...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scripture]
Matthew 9:28-30
28 And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him:
and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They
said unto him, Yea, Lord.
29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.
30 And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them,
saying, See that no man know it.

Luke 12:25-31
25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take
ye thought for the rest?
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not;
and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed
like one of these.
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and
to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O
ye of little faith?
29 And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither
be ye of doubtful mind.
30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and
your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things.
31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall
be added unto you.

Romans 4:16-22
16 Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end
the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is
of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is
the father of us all,
17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,)
before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and
calleth those things which be not as though they were.
18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father
of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed
be.
19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now
dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness
of Sara's womb:
20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was
strong in faith, giving glory to God;
21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able
also to perform.
22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Ephesians 3:20 - Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in
us,

Hebrews 2:18 - For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he
is able to succour them that are tempted.

Jude 1:24 - Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to
present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding
joy,

The world will hate you, more so your own kin will

Acts 24:8 - Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of
whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we
accuse him.

It really angers me when people make Satan to be a god. They glorify
him when they get themselves occupied with him and fear him.

First thing we should get into our heads that Satan is a fallen angel
being. Lucifer also called the dragon (due to his hatefulness) or the
serpent (because of his deceitfulness) or the crocodile (for his
hardness of heart), who is the ringleader is bonded in Hell. Now the
others who are with us (including the Beast) have their angelic powers
taken away from them during Noah's flood when they went out of their
limits.

They can only harm people who are not in the Lord. They are called
accusers because when we are in the Lord they cannot harm us so they
can only accuse us before the Lord by causing the image of the Lord in
us to degrade. The Holy Spirit works in us to better the image of the
Lord in us so that more and more we come closer to the Lord and have
His more of His favour. But Satan does not want us to have the favour
of God so he imputes his image into us by tempting us, causing us to
lose faith, harden our hearts, bringing fear in us etc...

The people of this world are under his control and they too can not
harm us, so like him they too accuse us with lies in deceitful ways.

We read in today's message the Jews wanted to harm Paul but the Lord
saved him from their hands. The Jews were under the rule of the Romans
so could not have their way. Therefore they approached Felix the Roman
Governor of that province to put away Paul. In Acts, Luke records the
deceitful way they approach Felix by first glorifying him and his
works and then bringing false accusations against Paul. One important
thing to notice is the way they classify Christians - as a sect.

Christianity and Judaism are in no way of the same group. Christianity
is based on Christ being the only way to the Lord. People of different
religions may believe in God but the moment they reject Christ as
being their Messiah, they are cut off.

The Christians had come from among the Jews but were not Jews
(followers of Judaism). They have the same historic background but not
the same belief. Jesus accused them of not following the commandments
of the Lord but following the commandments or traditions of men.

Today also we have the same situation. We have a large part of
Christians who like the Jews are followers of the commandments
(traditions) of man and not Commandments of the Lord and the people
who do, they call them as a sect. They hate these people more than
they hate the unbelievers.

The moment they come to know you are a believer you are treated like a
leaper. Their hearts turn cold towards you and their ears shut to all
what you say. You speak to them from the Bible and they ask you ‘which
Bible?'.

Like Jesus, Paul too exposed the harden hearts of the Jews therefore
was hated the most. Today if you and I stand by the Truth and the Word
of the Lord, we too will be hated by these people. They will call is
their brethren by their mouths but in their hearts we will be their
worst enemy. They will not mind selling their souls to the Devil to
see our end. The reason they do this is because we expose their hearts
unto them.

Jesus warned us when we are in Christ our own family member who harden
their hearts will hate us and come against us. At this time Jesus
instructs us not to fear for it is not against us that they are
hardened their hearts but it is against Him.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You warned us that people who are our own will hate us for they
may called themselves as your people but are still people of this
world. Even though they take your Name deep with their hearts they
hate You. Lord, You also instructed us not to fear them for You are a
Living God and You are in control, without your permission no one can
touch us. Lord, we pray not that You take them away but we pray that
in everything You be glorified and your Kingdom come...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Acts 24:1-8
1 And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the
elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the
governor against Paul.
2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him,
saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very
worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
3 We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all
thankfulness.
4 Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray
thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of
sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of
the sect of the Nazarenes:
6 Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and
would have judged according to our law.
7 But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence
took him away out of our hands,
8 Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom
thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse
him.

John 7:7 - The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I
testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.

John 15:18-23
18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.
19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because
ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world,
therefore the world hateth you.
20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater
than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute
you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake,
because they know not him that sent me.
22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but
now they have no cloke for their sin.
23 He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

Matthew 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not
able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy
both soul and body in hell.

Mark 7:8 - For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the
tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such
like things ye do.

Pillars in our hearts

Ezekiel 40:14 - He made also posts of threescore cubits, even unto the
post of the court round about the gate.

In my previous messages I have pointed out that the temple in Ezekiel
40,41 & 42 is about our inner man. In today's message the Lord is
talking about pillars at the gate of the Temple. What are these
pillars?

In the Bible we read Men of God worshiped the Lord at pillars. They
were not worshiping the pillars but worshiping the Lord at these
pillars they constructed. If we read the scriptures a few spaces back
we will find before the made these pillars the Lord had given them a
promise.

A pillar in the Bible represents a promise. These Men of God were
worshiping the Lord for the promises which was given unto them. Today
the Lord is telling us the first thing that should be there in our
hearts is His promise and only when have His promise as the first
thing in our heart it becomes a Temple according to His design.

We should ask ourselves what is the first thing that is there in it
that the Lord will encounter when He enters our Temple? Is it our
desires, our problems, our worries, our dislikes...

If we want our hearts to be true Temples of God with the glory of God
filling it let us make His promises the top most in our hearts. When
we make His promises, which is His Word as the top most in our hearts,
we can say the Lord dwells in our hearts.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we are people lost in this world. We desire things of this world
and things of the flesh and have made them the top priorities in our
lives. Lord, we pray You reset our priories in the proper order. Help
us put your Word as the highest priority in our lives...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the

Genesis 28:16-22
16 And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is
in this place; and I knew it not.
17 And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is
none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven.
18 And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he
had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil
upon the top of it.
19 And he called the name of that place Bethel: but the name of that
city was called Luz at the first.
20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will
keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and
raiment to put on,
21 So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the
LORD be my God:
22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's
house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth
unto thee.

Exodus 13:21 - And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a
cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give
them light; to go by day and night:

2 Kings 23:3 - And the king stood by a pillar, and made a covenant
before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments
and his testimonies and his statutes with all their heart and all
their soul, to perform the words of this covenant that were written in
this book. And all the people stood to the covenant.

Wisdom and knowledge is not all

2 Chronicles 9:1 - And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of
Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem,
with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in
abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she
communed with him of all that was in her heart.

In today's message the Lord is giving us an insight of how the world
approaches us and questions us.

We know Solomon was famous the world over for his wisdom, which is
also written in the Bible. But the Bible also tells us how even though
he had all this knowledge yet he lacked discernment, and chapter 9
while talking of the glory he carried also expose his discernment.

Queen Sheba came from faraway place to test King Solomon for his
wisdom / knowledge. She came the Bible says with ‘hard questions'.
These questions were not simple questions but questions which people
did not have answers to. Sheba was not a woman known for wisdom so
surely she must have sat along with all her top ministers to draft
this list.

Sheba been known not only for her beauty but also her shrewdness by
which she ruled her kingdom did not come only with questions but also
with lots of riches; riches which included 120 talents (a unit of
measure of weight) of gold and exotic spices.

Solomon did answer all her questions to her satisfaction. Knowing
these were hard questions they would have surely been many about life
and things connected with the purpose of life. She had not travelled a
long distance and bought all those riches to ask about insects, birds
or animals, nor about history or any general knowledge questions.

What we see that Solomon although answered these questions to her
satisfaction yet these answers had no effect on her. It is written she
was impressed with the way Solomon's people dressed and the way they
approached the House of the Lord but she never gave a thought to Who
they worshipped or what they believed in.

We see Solomon lacked discernment and therefore all the gold that
Solomon collected that year is written was 666 talents (that was
before he died). The things which David would not have done were done
by Solomon like building steps to the House of the Lord. There was a
spiritual reason why the Lord had instructed Moses not to build steps
to the Sanctuary. It was not so much to do with the structure but with
our bodies which is His true Temple and Solomon showed his spiritual
nakedness (his main lust was for prosperity - wealth and fame, later
also fell for the lust of the flesh by marrying many wives) and thus
landed worshipping other gods. The gods he worshiped were connected to
his spiritual problem.

The foundation of the Bible is by His Word and His Spirit we are
redeemed. The Word was given to us since ages but man could not
understand it since sin had hardened his heart. Jesus came to be an
example of the Word and cleanse us of ours sins so that we could be in
a position to receive His Spirit. It is by the working of the Spirit
that we get the Truth in us in its fullness. So however much we study
the Bible and spend years doing this, but if we do not have the
working on the Holy Spirit in us we can become a disaster like
Solomon. As we need more and more understanding of the Word, we also
need more and more of the Holy Spirit to fill us and take charge of
us.

Let not our knowledge and wisdom impress people but let it change them
and bring them to the knowledge of the Truth.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, Your Word is food for us which gives life, but man needs water
also not only food. Lord Jesus, You made it possible for man to
receive this Living Water. Holy Spirit, You are the Living Water that
is eternal. Lord, fill a thirst in us for more and more of your
Spirit...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
2 Chronicles 9:2-6, 13, 29-30
3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the
house that he had built,
4 And the meat of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the
attendance of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also,
and their apparel; and his ascent by which he went up into the house
of the LORD; there was no more spirit in her.
5 And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in
mine own land of thine acts, and of thy wisdom:
6 Howbeit I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes had
seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of thy wisdom was
not told me: for thou exceedest the fame that I heard.
13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six
hundred and threescore and six talents of gold;
29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not
written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of
Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against
Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.

Ephesians 6:17 - And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Exodus 20:26 - Neither shalt thou go up by steps unto mine altar, that
thy nakedness be not discovered thereon.

Thanksgiving with singing

Psalms 108:3 - I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the
peoples; And I will sing praises unto thee among the nations.

Some days back the people in USA celebrated Thanksgiving Day in which
family members or close ones come together thanking the Lord. No doubt
there are lots of customs which have taken the center stage of their
coming together, like the dinner and the turkey therefore even atheist
celebrate this day for they look at the customs but not the purpose.
But in the scriptures the Lord tells us the center point of our coming
together to celebrate a thanksgiving should be singing praise unto
Him.

We should realize the difference between making a statement, saying a
poem and singing songs. They all have words but in each of them there
is lots of difference.

A statement is simple words and a poem has more than words. In a poem
the words do not have just understanding but also a depth of feeling.
In case of songs rhythm gets added unto these feelings. The rhythm may
be just vocal or also instrumental. It is this rhythm which enhances
our emotions and takes it to its peak. Like crying is unto prayers,
singing is unto worship. That is why when we worship the Lord in songs
we experience great anointing because it helps our weak soul to
increase in relationship unto the Lord. It is also this reason why we
do not have any scripture in which Jesus sang hymns to worship His
Father (leaving for one place when He was in His weakest moments). He
simply did it in words for His relationship was already at its peak.
In our case we struggle in our relationship so we desperately need to
worship the Lord in songs.

The book of Psalms was initially segregated into 5 books according to
the book of Moses. The psalms were put into the book not according to
their release or date written but according to the book of Moses.

Book 1 - Psalms 1-41 was called the Genesis book
Book 2 - Psalms 42-72 was called the Exodus book
Book 3 - Psalms 73-89 was called the Leviticus book
Book 4 - Psalms 90-106 was called the Numbers book
Book 5 - Psalms 107-150 was called the Deuteronomy book

If you read the Psalms they give a better understanding of their
respective books of Moses. What people have found that when the Hebrew
text alphabets are substituted into notations and played the music
also gives a depth of what the words do!!!

Jesus did not need to sing hymns and unless we think we have already
reached that spiritual level of Jesus, we have overcome our flesh and
can transfigure then we too do not need to sing hymns. But since we
have not, we need to come together and sing praise unto the Lord as
thanksgiving.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we pray your people do all things with understanding. Lord, help
us lift our voices, play instruments so as to enhance our worship and
coming closer to You in relationship. Worship helps us enter your
gates but singing in worship, helps us rush through your gates. Bring
your people together as one body, in one understanding and in one
emotion...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Psalms 95:1-3
1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to
the rock of our salvation.
2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a
joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Colossians 3:16 - Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all
wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and
spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Ephesians 5:18-20
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with
the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs,
singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ;

Matthew 26:29-30
29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of
the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's
kingdom.
30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Do not ask our great God small things

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.

This scripture has so much depth in it that books and books can be
written explaining this one scripture. But since I always ask God for
fresh Manna (a new revelation) let me take something new today of this
message.

We know the scripture talks of Jesus being the Word and talks of Him
before He humbled Himself and came as man. In this scripture it talks
of His origin as being part of God and this fact He explained again in
John 1:18 as been in 'the bosom of the Father'. Now the Father is not
a man to have a bosom and also the same Greek word has been translated
at another place as 'creek' since it literally means a creek. Now the
Father is also not a mountain to have a creek. So the scripture is
trying to show us that the Son was within the Father and yet was
separate an individual by Himself and it was the Father Who declared
Him to others. Thus He was not made and existed from the beginning
along with the Father and has the same characteristics of the Father.
So He is God and part of the Godhead.

Today I saw something new in this scripture and that is the word
'was'. This word is the Greek word 'en' which is past present verb of
'I am' like 'have been', but in reality it isn't, for the grammar or
TVM of the verb is: Imperfect 5775, Not Stated 5799, Indicative 5791,

As I stated before the TVM of an instruction to us talks about what we
need to do in Body, Mind and Spirit; but when it isn't an instruction
and is a statement of fact then the Tense states the Physical and the
Mood states the spiritual, thus we see the Voice is given as not
stated.

Here we see God is Spirit, so also the Son before He humbled Himself
and came as man was fully Spirit, therefore saying He physically
existed is not a perfect way of putting it. Also about His spiritual
existence, although He spiritually exists but since He is beyond time
and eternal, His start and His end is not possible to indicate
accurately. Thus if we have to measure anything in Heaven it has to be
according to Him and therefor He is the beginning and He is the end,
He is the alpha and He is the omega.

The message to us today is not to measure our lives according to this
world which is small and has a short beginning and a quick end but let
us measure our lives according to Him. Thus our problems become small
before Him, our worries become little before Him and our burdens are
nothing before Him. All our desires of this world are too small for
Him to give therefore if we want to really ask something worthy of God
let us desire something great and it has to be from the Kingdom of God
and not of this world. So let us stop crying before our great God with
things of this world but ask things according to His status.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are a great God and help us understand even a small measure
of your greatness. Lord, we live in this world but being your children
we are not citizens of this world but of your Kingdom. Help us Lord
not to get lost with desires and pleasures of this world which are
just vanity but fill in us the desires of this which are truly
precious, things which are of your Kingdom...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
John 1:1-5
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made
that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:18 - No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son,
which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Hebrew 1:8-12 (words in italics removed)
8 but of the Son, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; And the
sceptre of uprightness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; Therefore God,
thy God, hath anointed thee With the oil of gladness above thy
fellows.
10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning didst lay the foundation of the
earth, And the heavens are the works of thy hands:
11 They shall perish; but thou continuest: And they all shall wax old
as doth a garment;
12 And as a mantle shalt thou roll them up, As a garment, and they
shall be changed: But thou art the same, And thy years shall not fail.

Revelation 1:8 - I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, who
is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.

Sorrow which brings goodness

2 Corinthians 7:11 - For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed
after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what
clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea,
what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things
ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

Before I get to the message I like to translate this same script so as
to give a better understanding of the text.

2 Corinthians 7:11 - For behold this itself, that ye sorrowed after
God, what haste it wrought in you, yea, what defence, yea, what sore
displeasure, yea, what fear, yea, what longing, yea, what zeal, yea,
what vengeance! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be pure
in this matter.

In today's message Paul talks of sorrow. This sorrow is not the
worldly sorrow which comes due to loss due to death of a person, or
loss of an object, or due to bad human relationship or due to physical
pain etc.

The scripture says 'sorrow after God' or 'godly sorrow'. In a few
scriptures before Paul describes this sorrow as 'sorrow to
repentance'. This is one of the factors of godly sorrow.

Sorrow to repentance is the grief which one goes through on knowing
one's spiritual state. It is the time when one realizes the sinful
life one is going through and how this life leads to disaster. It is
the time when one realizes how one has been hurting God and rejecting
the love of God. It is the time when one realizes how one has been
operating in the flesh and grieving the Spirit of God. It is time when
realizes how far one is from the Kingdom of God.

This sorrow quickens our blessings into our spirit life. This sorrow
protects us spiritually. This sorrow brings a hatred for our sinful
way of life. This sorrow brings a godly fear into us. This sorrow
brings a longing for the Kingdom of God. This sorrow gets us all
pepped up in spirit, full of energy. This sorrow sets us to crush the
forces that lead us to sin, which take us away from God. This sorrow
in all makes us a more pure person and brings goodness in us.

In the beatitudes Jesus tells us 'blessed are they who mourn they will
be comforted'. The word comforted in Greek 'parakaleo' also means
exhort or lift up, and we learned in the Bible that God does not only
lift a person up spiritually but draws that person towards Him.

So if we really want to grow in spirit, let us first be aware of the
state of our spiritual life and while repenting let us induce into
ourselves a godly sorrow.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You are Holy and anything unholy cannot stand before You. Even
though man went far from You by sinning, yet You love him and desire
him to dwell with You. You humbled yourself and came to bring man back
unto You. You made a way for us to get forgiveness for our sins and by
your Spirit come unto You. Lord, desire us to be holy in whatever
little way we can. Help us Lord to realize the life we live will lead
us to destruction. Help us repent and have a godly sorrow which will
exhort and bring us to You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
2 Corinthians 7:8-12
8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though
I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle hath made you
sorry, though it were but for a season.
9 Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to
repentance: for ye were made sorry after a godly manner, that ye might
receive damage by us in nothing.
10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be
repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly
sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of
yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement
desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have
approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause
that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but
that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.

Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Ecclesiastes 7:2-4
2 It is better to go to the house of mourning than to go to the house
of feasting: for that is the end of all men; and the living will lay
it to his heart.
3 Sorrow is better than laughter; for by the sadness of the
countenance the heart is made glad.
4 The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning; but the heart of
fools is in the house of mirth.

Nabal the rich fool and Abigail the wise wife

1 Samuel 25:33 - And blessed be thy advice, and blessed be thou, which
hast kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging
myself with mine own hand.

This is Sunday's message and my apologies for not sending it then. On
Sunday I could not figure what the Lord was trying to tell, since I
was distracted or disturbed with other things. Today when I sat alone
and cut off all other things out, I could get to send this message.

The chapter 1 Samuel 25 is a beautiful story of Abigail who was one of
David's wives. Before becoming David's wife she was wife of a very
rich shrewd man named Nabal. It may surprise you that the word 'Nabal'
in Hebrew means fool. This was not his nick name but his real name. He
was a very shrewd person who was unfair even to his own servants.

This story takes place before David became king of Israel and during
the times he would wander in the wilderness with a group of people
hiding from King Saul while fighting the battles of the Lord.

During these times David's men used to give protection to Nabal's
flock which was very large (3000 sheep and 1000 goats) and also to
Nabal's workers.

One day when David heard that Nabal was shearing his sheep, David send
his men to him to ask him for a thanksgiving, to give out of love not
only to David and his men but also to his own servants. David did not
go with a demand but with a request. But when Nabal ridiculed David
and his men it angered David so much that he sent a small armed army
to finish Nabal.

When Abigail who was Nabal's wife then heard this she hurried on a
donkey taking along things which she could offer David as
thanksgiving. Abigail was a beautiful and intelligent woman. She met
David and his men on his way to attack Nabal. She pleads of David not
to kill her husband, at the same time she did not justifying the
actions or character of her husband. The way she puts her case before
David convinces David that the Lord will take care of Nabal and he
need not dirty his hands with his blood.

It does happen that after David spares his life and after Abigail
tells Nabal about this incident the next day, after all the alcohol he
had the night before wears off. It is written his heart died within
him and he became a stone meaning heavy hearted.

Even though he was sorry, yet after ten days he died by the hands of
the Lord (he may have fallen sick and died or may have been killed by
a person, the details are not given). It is written he was sad and
sorry but it isn't written that he repented.

When Nabal died David sends message with his men to Abigail if she
would be willing to be his wife, which she willingly accepts.

What we learn from today's message about Nabal who was a man of his
name. Although he had every earthly thing, a good wife, riches and
good servants yet due to his shrewdness he became vanity. His wife did
not defend his way of life but defended him because of her relation to
him.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we thank You for the two messages You give us today. One of not
being a fool like Nabal and second to be like Abigail who loved Nabal
even though she knew he was wrong but at the same time did not justify
his actions. She was courageous and did not fear even though being a

from these examples...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Jews are not His sheep for they do not know Christ

John 10:24 - Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him,
How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us
plainly.

We read in today’s message the Jews surrounded Jesus from all sides
and questioned Him about Him being the Christ.

Today many people who are not Christians also call Jesus as Christ and
they really do not know the meaning of the word ‘Christ’. I am not
really surprised about them for even many Christians do not know the
meaning when they call Jesus as the Christ.

We read in today’s message the Jews knowing the meaning of the term
‘the Christ’ cornered Jesus to confirm if He was the one. The word
Christ means ‘anointed one’ it refers to a person having the Spirit of
God. Through Jesus we too received the Holy Spirit so we too become
Christ but then we are not ‘The Christ’ for the term is used only for
Jesus, on the other hand we are called Christians which means little
Christ.

Here we see the Jews were not questioning Jesus about just being an
anointed one but on being The Anointed One. For this we need to
understand the difference between Jesus and us when we receive the
Holy Spirit.

Jesus was God Who came as man, so as man He was 100percent man, made
of flesh and blood like us. The difference between Him and us as human
was firstly He was not born of a human father so had no curses or sins
passed on to Him from His forefathers. Secondly He kept Himself free
from any blemish, so was sinless.

Now the term Christ has nothing to do so much with the purity of the
vessel bit with the Holy Spirit, the anointing. We need to when we
believe in Jesus Christ we receive the promise of the Holy Spirit. The
word means pledge and should be properly understood. In some
translations it has been correctly translated as ‘token’. When we buy
a very large or expensive property which we cannot outright buy we
give a small amount which is called a token amount or signing amount.
Against this amount the property is called our property even though it
is not fully ours.

When we believe in Jesus Christ we receive a token of the Holy Spirit
paid by the sacrifice of the Holy Spirit. It is only when we grow in
the Holy Spirit we receive more and more of Him. Jesus was / is the
only human who had / has the Holy Spirit in full. Even though Jesus
made available Holy Spirit in complete for us yet only when we become
sons of God will we be full of the Holy Spirit like Him.

No human had more than a small fraction of the Holy Spirit even the
Apostles were just going in the Holy Spirit. This we can confirm for
Jesus said more of the Holy Spirit would be poured in the latter days.

There are cases where some people were said to be filled or
overwhelmed like in the case of Mary the mother of Jesus. To
understand this we need to take glasses of different sizes and fill
them with water, now the glass of small size will overflow quicker.
The water required to overflow the small glass is less than the water
required to overflow the bigger glass.

If we are not spiritually mature then we cannot hold more of the Holy
Spirit. We should also know that the Holy Spirit although being one is
seven. We start with the Spirit of Truth and should grow more in all
of the Spirit.

Coming to the Jews, even though they could see the Fruit of the Holy
Spirit in Jesus yet they did not believe Him to be The Christ and
behind this Jesus said the reason was because they were not His sheep.
It is only the sheep of God who believe Jesus as being The Christ. So
if you believe that indeed Jesus as not just a great Man of God, or a
good man but as One with the whole of the Holy Spirit then you are a
sheep of God.

I saw on a social site a post which stated that, in Pakistan a
minister objected to the word Jesus Christ being written in text books
and we can understand the reason why by today’s message.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You came as a example for us and in You we saw perfection in its
fullness. You came as The Christ so that we can become little christs
and grow to come to fullness in You. Holy Spirit, fill a thirst for
more and more of You. Help us grow and mature in You so that be filled
with more of You. Let people see You in us when they your Fruits in
us...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works
that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me.
26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.
27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or
dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by
him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning,
the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the
preeminence.
19 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Spirit shall
come upon thee, and the power of the Most High shall overshadow thee:
wherefore also the holy thing which is begotten shall be called the
Son of God.

What is on your table?

Ezekiel 40:41 - Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that
side, by the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their
sacrifices.

In my previous posts I mentioned the chapters 40 to 42 of Ezekiel
which give dimensions and details of a temple actually give dimensions
of a perfect inner-man (heart) which is the true temple of God.

Today when I received this message I was for a short time puzzled as
to what to write for currently I am learning on this topic with the
Lord, and have yet not completed it. The Lord did show me the basic
structure of the heart through the books of Moses and Psalms which I
wrote in Heart part III. But as I was meditating on today's message
the word table in Hebrew 'shulchan' struck me and when I looked up it
originates from the word 'shalach' which means to send, to cast away
and less to keep or store.

We have a mentality that a table is a place to keep something, on
earthly tables we may do that but we do not realize that tables are no
meant for that. Tables are transaction counters where work is done or
objects are kept temporally with a purpose to give or consumed.

To keep anything we have shelves or storerooms or cupboards and in the
heart there is no permanent storage but just tables. Which means all
that we are, all that makes us, our memories , our deeds, our
thoughts, our words, our desires everything that is in our hearts is
on tables. They are on tables because one day when we stand before the
Lord this is what we offer Him.

Now think of all that we have on our tables, are these which we want
to offer to our Lord and Master?

It is time we throw away all that worthless junk we filled from this
world and fill the tables with precious Heavenly things.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, from childhood we are trained by this world to desire for
pleasures of the flesh, pleasures for things which are worthless in
your Kingdom. We have pilled our hearts with hurts, un-forgiveness and
sins. Your message for us today tells us to make our tables as tables
of sacrifice which offer precious things unto You. Lord, help us
cleanse our tables of the junk and help us collect precious spiritual
things that have value in your Kingdom...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Ezekiel 40:2-5,36-43
2 In the visions of God brought he me into the land of Israel, and
set me upon a very high mountain, by which was as the frame of a city
on the south.
3 And he brought me thither, and, behold, there was a man, whose
appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a line of flax in
his hand, and a measuring reed; and he stood in the gate.
4 And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and
hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew
thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou
brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel.
5 And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in
the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an
hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed;
and the height, one reed.
36 The little chambers thereof, the posts thereof, and the arches
thereof, and the windows to it round about: the length was fifty
cubits, and the breadth five and twenty cubits.
37 And the posts thereof were toward the utter court; and palm trees
were upon the posts thereof, on this side, and on that side: and the
going up to it had eight steps.
38 And the chambers and the entries thereof were by the posts of the
gates, where they washed the burnt offering.
39 And in the porch of the gate were two tables on this side, and two
tables on that side, to slay thereon the burnt offering and the sin
offering and the trespass offering.
40 And at the side without, as one goeth up to the entry of the north
gate, were two tables; and on the other side, which was at the porch
of the gate, were two tables.
41 Four tables were on this side, and four tables on that side, by
the side of the gate; eight tables, whereupon they slew their
sacrifices.
42 And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt offering, of
a cubit and an half long, and a cubit and an half broad, and one cubit
high: whereupon also they laid the instruments wherewith they slew the
burnt offering and the sacrifice.
43 And within were hooks, an hand broad, fastened round about: and
upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.

Ephesians 5:1-10
1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given
himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling
savour.
3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not
be once named among you, as becometh saints;
4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not
convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor
covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom
of Christ and of God.
6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things
cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:
9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.

Take your censer and burn incense

Numbers 16:17,18 - And take every man his censer, and put incense in
them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred
and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer. And
they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense
thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation
with Moses and Aaron.

In the church I was before, as a young boy I was an altar boy and
being the head altar boy in that Cathedral I had would usually get the
privilege to hold the censer. The best part for me was burning the
coal and putting incense in the censer. The moment the incense fell on
the burning coal there was a beautiful aroma that filled the air. All
this I did without knowing what it meant and if these things did
really please God.

But one day after I came into the Lord I was attending a service and
the preacher there was explaining about incense and the formula which
the Lord restricted for His use only. And as she was preaching the
Lord was talking to me and opening my mind to some secrets of how the
incense represented worship and in that formula was the secret of
perfect worship which the Lord assured in His Word every time the
formula was used His glory would be manifested.

I wrote about this in my teaching 'Worshiping in Spirit and Truth'
which can be downloaded from following link
http://www.savedbyf aith.info/ Worshiping_ in_spirit_ and_truth. pdf

Every time I got myself to follow the formula I did experience the glory of God.

Incense was burnt in censers and the censer symbolizes our body. The
perfect censer was one made of gold and gold symbolizes spiritual
richness. So the perfect censer is a person who is led by the Spirit
of God and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Coming to the fire inside the censer which represents the holy fire in
us and this fire comes in us when we are baptized with fire (it is
different from being baptized in water and Spirit). It is only when we
have a passion for the Kingdom of God we have a fire in us. This fire
grows when we start to carry our CROSS (purpose) in Jesus Christ.

We read in today's message when Levi's son Korah and his people
rebelled against Moses and Aaron, the authority given to them by the
Lord. Moses got angry and in his anger told them to take their censers
and burn incense at the door of the Tabernacle. Moses was not told by
the Lord to ask them to take censer and burn incense but was led by
the Spirit of God to do that. But knowing what would happen when they
did that, the Lord cautioned Moses why he wanted the others to suffer
because few of these people, so the Lord told they to be separated
from the others. As they were separated the ground below them open up
and consumed them.

The message today is to both children of God and to those called to
lead His children.

The message to the children is to make your bodies a holy vessel and
worship the Lord with a passion. Let the passion for the Kingdom of
God burn in you and the worship that comes is like sweet aroma that
pleases God and lets His favour fall on you.

The message to those called to lead the children is if they become a
vessels with an unholy fire in them, meaning a fire not for God's
Kingdom but one that burns for one's own fame and glory, a fire which
desires worldly things not spiritual things, then the Lord is first
going to separate you from His people and then will remove the ground
beneath your feet and consume you. I do not need to tell you in detail
on this but will let God's Spirit do that.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we worship You to please You so that your Face shines on us,
your favour is showered on us. It is your favour that shuts the enemy
and glorifies us in You. Lord, we pray for those who are called to be
vessels of your Sanctuary. Lord, make them a holy vessel with a holy
fire. Cleanse these vessels Lord and ignite in them a passion for your
Kingdom a passion for your people, for the precious things of which
Heaven is made of...

This prayer I make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Numbers 16:15-35
15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou
their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I
hurt one of them.
16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the
LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:
17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring
ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty
censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid
incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the
congregation with Moses and Aaron.
19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door
of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD
appeared unto all the congregation.
20 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may
consume them in a moment.
22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the
spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with
all the congregation?
23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the
tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders
of Israel followed him.
26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you,
from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest
ye be consumed in all their sins.
27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram,
on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door
of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little
children.
28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to
do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be
visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent
me.
30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth,
and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go
down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have
provoked the LORD.
31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these
words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their
houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their
goods.
33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the
pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the
congregation.
34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them:
for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two
hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

Exodus 30:34-38
34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto thee sweet spices, stacte,
and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense:
of each shall there be a like weight:
35 And thou shalt make it a perfume, a confection after the art of
the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:
36 And thou shalt beat some of it very small, and put of it before
the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet
with thee: it shall be unto you most holy.
37 And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to
yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee
holy for the LORD.
38 Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even
be cut off from his people.

Hebrew 9:3-5
3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;
4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid
round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and
Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of
which we cannot now speak particularly.

Matthew 3: 11 - I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he
that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy
to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire:

Why do you celebrate festivals or follow traditions?

Deutronomy 6:22 - And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and
sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our
eyes:

People of the world associate Christianity with its festivals very
strongly. The first thing that comes to their mind about being
Christian is Christmas.

Most people think by celebrating this festivals they are promoting
Christ and the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. If they really find
out what they are really celebrating even they themselves will be in
for a shock.

If we look at the New Testament, the book of Acts or any of the
letters or even historical documents of the early Church there are no
records of celebration of Christmas (do not tell me we love Christ
more than those of the early Church where they saw the glory of God on
them and the people personally anointed and taught by the Lord were
with them). The only record of celebration documented in the book of
Acts is the Passover of our Lord Jesus Christ (includes Resurrection
Sunday).

If we ask where this celebration came from since scripture clearly
show it was not winter when Jesus was born (shepherds were gazing
their sheep) and the finger points to the Roman Catholic Church in the
early years of its origin. If one finds the reasons of this
celebrations and they show as nothing to do with God or Jesus Christ
but to do with the foolish wisdom of man.

God does say in scriptures we need to celebrate certain festivals and
if one checks these, the festivals instructed to celebrate through
Moses were shadows of things connected to Jesus Christ and also fell
on the very same day. All that the Lord told the Israelites to
celebrate were just shadows of things connected to Jesus Christ.

All the celebrations or traditions instructed by the Lord had only one
purpose and that was to testify to the little ones (not only in age
but more little in spirit) about what the Lord did and will do, if we
are not doing this then the celebrations are just gratification of the
flesh or mocking things precious to the Lord. The celebrations
required the believers to involve their neighbours, especially the
children and explain them the purpose of the celebration.

Soon people so called Christians will be celebrating Christmas. Little
do they know that it is not the day Jesus is born but the day when the
wise men visited Jesus, who by then was a grown child. The origin of
this celebration was the RC church's plan to counter a pagan festival
concerning the sun god celebrated by the Romans on that day.

These days are not days of testifying Christ but days of gratification
of the flesh and days when the wrath of God falls on the people (if
one records many disasters occur during this season). People would say
we share love with the family and sing carols but I ask them why they
need a pagan day to do all this. Why cannot they do it on the day as
defined in the Bible?

Just because the festival has the word 'Christ' in it does not make
the wrong into right. We need to ask ourselves, this season how much
are we going to bring our God to anger and how much of His patience
are we going to test?

We are supposed to be people led by the Spirit of God not by the
traditions of men. Let all things that we do have understanding and
purpose.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, your people have been deceived and made to bring You to wrath.
The deceiver wants them to be consumed in your wrath. Lord, You warned
the evil one will come as an angel of light and we can only know him
when we discern all what he says or does with the scriptures. Lord,
open the eyes of your people and do not harden their hearts, may your
mercy be abundant on them...

This prayer I make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

We live a shadow

Job 8:9-11
9 (For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days
upon earth are a shadow:)
10 Shall not they teach thee, and tell thee, and utter words out of
their heart?
11 Can the rush grow up without mire? can the flag grow without water?

The book of Job is the oldest book of the Bible. It was written years
before Moses and yet we find this book has some of the most awesome
understanding of the Kingdom of God. Job a Man of God had the calling
of a Teacher like Solomon and was blessed with exceptional wisdom and
understanding. In his book Job touches the fourth and the top stage of
Bible study which is image study and we see the same in today's
message.

When I say image it does not mean idol, but the understanding and
design behind an object. Everything God created in Genesis chapter 1
is written as 'His Kind' or 'Their Kind' and it is when we understand
this we will understand creation and the Kingdom of God.

When God was asked as to how He will talk to His people when they are
so stubborn and stiff-necked, God spoke through Isaiah and said in 4
stages:

1) Precept by precept - which means commentaries
2) Line by line - which means cross references
3) Here a little, there a little - which means word study
4) In stammering (strange) lips and another tongue - things like image
study, Bible codes, etc...

These are the four stages through which a person grows in study of
scriptures. Please do not try to jump stages, unless your foundational
stage is not strong and you go directly to stage 3 or 4 then you are
sure to crash down or become an instrument of Satan.

It is only when we understand the image of God in us, then only will
we understand God and what the term 'son of God' means, why Jesus is
called the only Son of God when He was 100percent man on earth, why
Paul wrote Christ came so that we may become sons of God.

The most amazing stage of my study with the Lord was when He revealed
to me everything (means everything) in this world from the
micro-organism to the whole universe is made so that we may understand
the Kingdom of God, which means everything has an image behind it. It
is not only the object but also the way they relate and interact with
others, also gives us understanding of the Kingdom of God.

The Heavens above is a spirit world and man cannot even contemplate
the word 'spirit' which in Hebrew means breathe. Man imagines spirit
as a smoke but God puts it as formless, having life and more real than
this physical world. Everything in Heaven living, even the things
which Heaven is made of. People think there will be roads of gold and
structures of precious stone and they will be disappointed when the
reach there, for the Kingdom of God is made of much more precious
living things than earthly dead things.

When I tell people about the requirements of being a Christian they
say 'it is impossible'. This impossible is only possible when we know
the Kingdom of God and understand it. If we live in this little world
that we are in, every little thing becomes the world for us and thus
impossible to give up or overcome. It is only when we know the Kingdom
of God and how great it is these little things become nothing for us
to give up.

We are living in a projection or hologram, and this projection will
one day cease when Jesus comes again. Are we prepared to move into the
real world? It is better we learn more of this today so that we are
not caught by surprise and that is what God desires.

Do not struggle in life but let the knowledge and understanding of the
Kingdom of God set you free.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You called us children of Light yet most of us live in darkness
for we do not understand the things concerning Heaven. We like to see
all things in earthly ways but on the contrary You make earthly things
in a Heavenly way. In your wisdom You made all things in a way that
man can never complain that they did not know You or your Kingdom even
if they did not get a Bible in their hands or no one came to give them
the Gospel. Lord, give your children wisdom that they may understand
this life and the things concerning life, that they may not love this
world but the real world which is your Kingdom...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Jerusalem that became the Harlot

Ezikiel 16:7 - I have caused thee to multiply as the bud of the field,
and thou hast increased and waxen great, and thou art come to
excellent ornaments: thy breasts are fashioned, and thine hair is
grown, whereas thou wast naked and bare.

Chapter 16 of Ezekiel from which we received today’s message talks
about the Church of God and the changes that happened to it. The Lord
starts with calling it Jerusalem [the real Jerusalem but as a child]
and ends up calling it the whore or the false Jerusalem. What we read
in Revelation chapter 17-19 is from these scriptures.

When we say Church of God people think about the Church connected with
the Apostles. Actually the Church was first started with Abraham when
he gathered a congregation in the Name of the Lord by circumcising
them. It was this Church which was started with a good note but latter
became a religion. Among the main people before Jesus were Abraham,
Moses and David. When Abraham died his gave existed and the same with
David, but when Moses died God hid his body for God knew what they
would have done with his bones in the latter days if his grave was
with man. It was this reason that even the name of the people was
changed to Jews for the religion Judaism they followed. They were and
are full of traditions, therefore under bondages of the law of
traditions which they assumed from the Word given through Moses since
they lack the Spirit of God. Jesus was the first to draw light to the
real meaning to the Word given through Moses.

Through this chapter the Lord takes us through all the fornications
and whoredom which this Church does through the ages. If one goes
through the understanding of the jewellery and the clothes which are
sarcastically put one will understand how true the Word of God is.

In the latter part the Lord shows us how this Church segregated into
the Jewish church Samaria (which symbolizes rocky mountains or small
truths but not the Truth) and the Church called Babylon the Great or
the Great Whore which we have with us today.

When the Lord showed me how Satan has gripped the Church with deceit,
one will get a shock how even though we have great people of God with
us yet we are deceived. Thus there is no way anyone can be saved
unless we are in-tune and in total surrender to the Holy Spirit. It is
only the Holy Spirit Who can save us from the deceit of the ruler of
the air (meaning vanity).

Today as we are getting more and more, true Men and Women of God
coming into this word and less spiritual showmen (men and women who
start in the Lord but later fall prey to their flesh), we find Satan
has renewed his attack on the Kingdom of God. So let us not take
things easy, but very thing let us confirm with the Word of God as
revealed by the Spirit of God - the Author of this Book.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, Your Church has been under attack since ages from Satan. He does
not desire we know You and come close to You. He tries all the tricks
imaginable. You have warned us of his tricks and yet we fall to these
very same tricks which come in new names. Lord, fill your people with
your Spirit and led them through these dangerous obstacles which Satan
as set...

We make this prayer in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Ezekiel Chapter 16

Genesis 17:9-14, 23-27
9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore,
thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and
thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall
be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you,
every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or
bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy
money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your
flesh for an everlasting covenant.
14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not
circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath
broken my covenant.
23 And Abraham took Ishmael his son, and all that were born in his
house, and all that were bought with his money, every male among the
men of Abraham’s house; and circumcised the flesh of their foreskin in
the selfsame day, as God had said unto him.
24 And Abraham was ninety years old and nine, when he was circumcised
in the flesh of his foreskin.
25 And Ishmael his son was thirteen years old, when he was
circumcised in the flesh of his foreskin.
26 In the selfsame day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his son.
27 And all the men of his house, born in the house, and bought with
money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.

Evil spirits tremble at One God

James 2:9 - Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the
devils also believe, and tremble.

This is yesterday's message which I am sending today.

To understand today's message more accurately we need to expand the message.

James 2:9 - Thou believest [commit to] that there is one God; thou
doest [bring fourth] well [good]: the devils also believe [commit to],
and tremble [stiffen in horror].

In the start I used to believe this scripture was about the evil
spirits knowing there is God and thus have fear.

First thing the word used for evil spirits is 'daimonion' which means
a divine power lesser than God but greater than man. You need to know
these evil spirits are no fools they know many things which we do not
today since they were Angels having authority in God once upon a time.
Talking of them knowing there is God is like me telling you 'you
exist'. Such a matter does not frighten anyone.

The scripture has great depth to its understanding since James the
brother of Jesus was a Teacher by calling and spoke many deep things
in simple words.

The word God here refers to the Godhead not to an individual of the
three. The grammar TVM (Tone, Voice and Mood) of the word 'there is',
is Present 5774, Not Stated 5799, Indicative 5791. Like I stated in my
previous mails the TVM gives a great aspect of the instruction /
background in body, mind/soul and spirit. The interesting factor here
is the Mood or spirit part shows as 'will occur'. Saying they will
come together.

We know God is inseparable so what is this factor of them coming
together and which is this so shocking to the evil spirits?

To understand this we need to understand the Godhead. People get so
confused with understanding 3 in 1 where the Father is the Head of the
Body and the Son and Spirit are part of the Body of the Godhead. How
will they digest that the Son Himself is Head of His own Body and His
Body consist of the Angels and other Heavenly beings. It is this
reason when an Angel appeared it is written the Lord appeared. God the
Holy Spirit too is also a multi dimension Being, it is written about
Him being 7 Spirits yet 1.

It is the factor of the Son which causes tremendous fear to the evil
spirits. The evil spirits or fallen angels were part of the Son before
they revolted against the Light of God and thus were thrown down from
the (upper) Heavens (in other words demoted). When man was created
even though man was made weaker than them, they knew God had plans to
promote man. In spirit man is same as the Angels but being put in the
flesh was made weaker / lower than an Angel. It is this weak man who
is being refined and given authority to be an Angel after Judgment
day. The Body or Temple of the Son was damaged when the fallen angels
revolted will be made new when man will be part of this Body. It is
this Truth that causes immense fear in them for they know that day
would be disaster for them and they would be dealt in a way
unimaginable.

Yesterday I had gone out of Mumbai to a place near Pune and happened
to pick a newspaper of Pune. I read in it about the leaders of a
church having headquarters in abroad has sent they heads there for an
interfaith interaction.

We read in today's scripture how the Truth causes immense fear to the
evil spirits, but we have man who is even worse than the evil spirit,
he does not fear to manipulate the Truth. He does not fear proclaiming
all gods are one. He does not fear to manipulate and distort the Word
to bring forth his evil agenda.

Before this church kept the Word away from the people but when the
Rider on the White Horse came, the Word was given unto the people.
Today when we have the Word with us they are trying to distort it so
that man gives it up. They do not realize within these thousand years
the Rider is going to conquer and His army is going to come in power.
They do not fear the things which are written about them which God is
going to do with them, even though He showed it with King
Nebuchadnezzar.

Babylon had favour with God when His people did not listen to Him. But
when the King made a golden idol of him and made people to worship it,
the wrath of God fell on him.

No doubt the leader(s) of this church has officially proclaimed
himself god on earth, King of Kings, Jesus Christ in the flesh and
many other things unimaginable. Today they are doing what the people
did when they build the Tower of Babylon, when they bought all the
gods under one roof to challenge the True God.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, we read in today's message how the Truth causes the powerful
evil spirits to shiver in fear but we see evil man does not blink an
eyelid but dares to distort the Truth think he would get away from the
punishment set forth for him. Lord, the sacrifice of your saints cry
out to You, we too lift our voices up to You let your wrath fall on
this Babylon like it did on the Tower of Babylon and on King
Nebuchadnezzar. Let your little one trapped in Babylon be freed from
the deceit and come into your Light...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Genesis 11:1-9
1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they
found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn
them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for
morter.
4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top
may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered
abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the
children of men builded.
6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one
language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be
restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they
may not understand one another's speech.
8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all
the earth: and they left off to build the city.
9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did
there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the
LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Revelation 19:11-16
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat
upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth
judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many
crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is
called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white
horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he
treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING
OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

John 17:17-24
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them
into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be
sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall
believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in
thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that
thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they
may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one;
and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved
them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me
where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me:
for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.

Do not die in Babylon

Ezekiel 12:13 - My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be
taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the
Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

Like the coming out of Egypt the events concerning Babylon is given,
if no less equal, more importance. If one looks at the Gospel of
Matthew as he records the genealogy of Jesus from Abraham to Jesus he
makes two halts on the way, one at David and the other at Babylon. We
see Matthew did not record the name of the last Jewish King who was
taken to Babylon but noted the incident. One should know nothing in
the Bible can be taken for granted and everything has a reason and
purpose.

All prophesies concerning Israel have at least 2 dimensions to them
one in the physical and one in the spiritual. We see many prophesies
concerning Israel in the physical do not seem fulfilled completely,
but we also know our God never does anything incomplete.

Let us take an example, the prophesy concerning the events that took
place on 70Ad spoken by Jesus. If we look at it Jesus spoke of them in
an answer concerning the end days. We know they were not the real end
days and Jesus did not make any mistake. When He said it, it was
surely concerning the end days but these events were a mini projection
of main event. Same is with the book of Moses and all the events that
happened in the wilderness, they are all mini natures of the main
events i.e. the New Testament talks of crossing the Red Sea as baptism
in Jesus Christ and the leading of the pillar of cloud and fire as
baptism in the Holy Spirit. It also talks of the Passover as the
sacrifice of the true Lamb of God Jesus Christ.

The Bible talks about the 2 sisters which in one place written as
Samaria and Sodom and in another place as Aholah and Aholibah (Samaria
and Jerusalem -“ yer-oo-shaw- lah’ yim” a term used for the false
Jerusalem unlike “yer-oo-shaw- lame’” used for the real Jerusalem)
these are the 2 churches.

The first church was the Jewish church against which Jesus is the 1st
protestant. No one had caused so many Jews to leave the Jewish Church
other than Jesus. All those who left the Jewish church and became
Christians were directly or indirectly connected to the protest of
Jesus against the false practice of scriptures by that church.

The second church is the church which in Revelations is called as
Babylon the Great, the Whore (depicted as Sodom), in the second letter
(the second stage of the Church) as a church which fools people while
being a seat of Satan (false Jerusalem).

Many may say we do not have anything to do with that church but they
do not realize their practices and beliefs are influenced by that
church.

The first letter of Paul documented in the Bible is the letter to the
Romans and in this letter Paul goes to great extend to clear the fact
that Jews are not the Jews which the Bible talks of. He goes to great
pains of explaining that the promises of Abraham are not to those born
of flesh but of promise.

Even in the Gospels the word used with children and promises is the
word “Teknon” which means chosen children or special children.

Jesus showed us the way with His dealing with the first Church and how
He exposed their lies. He did not rebuke the people of that church but
on the contrary was compassionate to them and took great pains to
teach them the Truth by going to the synagogues regularly. But His
attitude was not the same with the promoters of that church, the
Priest, the Pharisees and Sadducees, and at most places rebuke them.

Let us not be blinded from the Truth by monuments, or Institutes, or
by the power of man and have our heads pressed down with the net. But
let us be like Jesus Who did not fear any system or institute.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, You have warned us again and again about the deceiver. He being
the father of lies never tells total lies but twists the truth so as
to deceive and destroy your people. He hates your people; even though
he knows his end is set he continues his evil. Lord, do not let your
people be destroyed, break the yoke around them which You allowed in
your anger. We pray for your mercy and grace in the lives of your
people, free them from this Babylon...

This prayer we make in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Ezekiel 16:46,48-49
46 And thine elder sister is Samaria, she and her daughters that
dwell at thy left hand: and thy younger sister, that dwelleth at thy
right hand, is Sodom and her daughters.
48 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she
nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters.
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness
of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters,
neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.

Ezekiel 23:1-4
1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
2 Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother:
3 And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in
their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised
the teats of their virginity.
4 And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her
sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus
were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.

To MountZion - Page 28 Empty Re: To MountZion

Jesus walking into the wilderness

Luke 24:29 - But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it
is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry
with them.

After breaking the curse of Hell for all mankind who believe in Him,
Jesus appeared on the third day and did something odd. He firstly did
not let Mary of Magdalene touch Him then suddenly He goes for a stroll
into the wilderness. The Angel that appeared to the women tells them
to go to a place and they would meet Him. Where was Jesus going and
why?

When we read the scripture just before the scripture for the day, we
read Jesus appeared to be going somewhere further but when they
requested Him, He abided with them. Jesus did not have an appointment
nor did He need to walk that distance to go where He was going. In His
resurrected body He would appear where He wanted in an instant yet we
see He was walking.

Whatever Jesus did had reason and purpose and we see before Jesus
agreed to abide with them and all that distance He walked with them He
was explaining to them about Him in the scriptures and how all
scriptures were about Him starting with Moses.

What hit me as a big surprise was even after appearing from Hell Jesus
was still performing sacrifices as recording in Moses. This stroll
into the wilderness as the last sacrifice Jesus fulfilled before He
offered His blood on to the mercy Throne and completing all the
sacrifices need for the salvation of man.

Even though Jesus appeared from Hell Jesus had not completed all His
sacrifices and therefore did not allow Mary of Magdalene to touch Him,
but after He ascended to Heaven and sprinkled His blood on to the
Mercy Throne in Heaven He had completed his work and thus afterwards
in the evening when He appeared to His disciples who had gathered in a
locked room He allowed them to touch Him.

When I ask any Christian the reason why Jesus died? The answer I get
'for our sins', and this saddens me that they really do not know why
Jesus died.

Christians are not Christians because they do not know why Jesus
sacrificed Himself. No doubt Jesus sacrificed Himself to get us
forgiveness for our sins and curses broken but that is only part of
His purpose, and they lose the main purpose.

The main purpose Jesus sacrificed Himself for us is so that we receive
the Holy Spirit. If we do not get this into our head we lose big time
and will not receive the reward of Jesus' sacrifice. A vessel is
cleaned with the purpose that something good can be served in it. The
leather bottle was renewed so that new wine (juice) would be poured in
it. Without the Holy Spirit we will never know Jesus nor have new wine
in us. The Apostles who lived with Him did not until they received the
Holy Spirit then what changes do we stand?

Jesus is an example and a way for us but the One who leads us alone
the way and makes us into that example Jesus is the Holy Spirit. Jesus
did not tarry long so that the Holy Spirit could come and start His
work in us. It is the Holy Spirit Who is the main Characters along
with the Word of God in the story of our salvation. Unless we do not
realize this we will not succeed. The Holy Spirit is the potter Who
moulds us into that perfect example Jesus, so that we become sons of
God.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, in your Word You said not by your power but by your Spirit. It
is your Word and Lord, You prepared us by the sacrifice of your
beloved Son so that we could receive your Holy Spirit. It is by your
Spirit that we can reach our destination like it was the pillar of
cloud that led the Israelites in the wilderness. Lord, help us
surrender to your Spirit. Holy Spirit work in your children and mature
us into sons...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Luke 24:25-31
25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all
that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto
them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he
made as though he would have gone further.
29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward
evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread,
and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.
31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out
of their sight.

Matthew 28:1-10
1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day
of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the
sepulchre.
2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the
Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from
the door, and sat upon it.
3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I
know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place
where the Lord lay.
7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the
dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye
see him: lo, I have told you.
8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great
joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them,
saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and
worshipped him.
10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that
they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

John 20:15-17,19- 20
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou?
She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou
have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will
take him away.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto
him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to
my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my
Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week,
when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear
of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them,
Peace be unto you.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his
side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.

Leviticus 16:21-22
21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat,
and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and
all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head
of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the
wilderness:
22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land
not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.

We need a Josiah today

Matthew 1:11 - And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the
time they were carried away to Babylon:

In the Bible we have the 2 genealogies of Jesus. In Matthew is the
genealogy through Joseph whose father was Jacob and in Luke we the
genealogy of Jesus through Mary whose father is Heli and given as
father in law of Joseph. Both have their common ancestor as David, so
in worldly manner Jesus was a descendant of David since officially
according to civil records Joseph was called the father of Jesus. And
in the real way also Jesus was a descendant of David through Mary.

In reality Jesus was born even before the official marriage of Mary
and Joseph, for according to Jewish tradition and according to the
Bible a marriage commences when the husband and wife come to know each
other (have physical relationship) since the actual marriage of Mary
and Joseph happened only after Jesus was born, as documented in
Matthew 1:25.

In today's message we see one of the ancestors of Jesus was King
Josiah. Josiah is one of the great heroes of the Bible. When he came
to know the people were doing things against the Commandments of the
Lord and which angered God, he turned their world upside down. All the
things they did in the name of tradition which included those borrowed
from the pagans and also those by distorting the actual instructions
of the Lord.

This church had priests and so called men of God but they too were
directly or indirectly hand in hand promoting this corruption. They
had the Book of Law with them but did not follow it. It was when the
King read it and was heartbroken on knowing what they were doing he
sent a few to inquire of Lord (confirm) through the Woman of God
Huldah.

After hearing the words of Huldah, King Josiah gathered and woke up
the people by explaining them the scriptures. He then nearly destroyed
each and every object connected to the rebellious belief against the
Lord. All things of Baal and of goddess Asherah, and those in the name
of being in Heaven, all these he gathered and burnt them outside the
city and threw the ashes on the graves of the ancestors for it was
because of the ancestors ignorance and stubbornness they were doing
all this practices.

Today too, not much has changed, the churches today also practices
pagan celebrations and still do the very same things which are
connected to worship of Baal and the goddess Asherah, but in names of
people or things connected to Jesus Christ.

King Josiah also broke down the house of (male) prostitutes connected
to these worships; similarly even today we have church leaders who
sell the Truth due to their fleshy desires like the male prostitutes
did to their bodies.

Today we need people like King Josiah who can have courage to
challenge these systems and practices which are leading the people of
God to destruction. I pray someone's heart would burn with grief on
hearing these words like King Josiah heart did on hearing the words of
Huldah. Even a few can bring a great change in the House of God. Let
us not wait for someone else but like King Josiah who was very young
at the time he did this have courage and lead the people to the Truth.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord, the things that are written in your Word and things which You
warned against and are done by people even today. Like in those days
the people were far from knowing your Word even today they are
deceived due to their lack of knowledge and understanding of your
Word. They practice traditions and rituals which have nothing to do
with You or your Kingdom. They do not realize they are actually
directly or indirectly worshiping Satan and the Beast. Open the eyes
of your people and bring a burden on their hearts of your chosen to
bring a change...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Matthew 1:16 - And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was
born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Luke 3:23 - And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age,
being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son [son in
law] of Heli,

Matthew 1:24-25
24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord
had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:
25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and
he called his name JESUS.

Washing disciples' feet

John 13:5 - After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to
wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he
was girded.

If I give a rubik's cube to an infant, he or she would think it to be
a colourful block, but a more mature child would know it is a 3D
mechanical puzzle. In the same way this scripture has spiritual
infants think Jesus was teaching His disciples about serving one
another.

Like the infant was not totally wrong about the rubik's cube so also
if we do not really understand the actions and purpose of what Jesus
did we too will not know the truth.

If Jesus was demonstrating only service then Jesus should have obliged
Simon Peter's request to wash his hands and his head too. But Jesus
tells him a person who has bath does not need washing also if He does
not wash their feet then they would have no part with Him. Was Jesus a
cleanliness freak that He rejects people with dirty feet? Jesus
Himself at times ate without washing His hands.

Many people lacking spiritual maturity and understanding do social
service and think they are blessed in the Lord. No doubt doing social
service is demonstrating the love and mercy of God, but if we take God
out of this love and mercy then what love is this? Any social service
without showing God in it is just human labour in the flesh and would
have its reward here on earth but not in Heaven. The love connected
with God (in Greek Agape) is rightfully translated in some Bibles not
love but charity. Charity is love demonstrated without any return or
expectation from the recipient, but most important which most people
forget is, it is a love with purpose to proper the recipient. If that
prosperity is totally worldly then our reward is worldly but if it has
some spiritual factor in it then we are in for a reward in Heaven. Any
love without the person truly prospering is not really love.

It is this lack of understand that even greatest social servers like
Mother Teresa did not reap real spiritual goodness of what she did. In
her last days she complained of darkness and of being far from God.
Her heart was in helping the poor and when I met her she also advised
me too to join her in her efforts. But in her late days people close
to her and her letters to her priest give a picture of what she was
going through and how she was spiritually struggling. Her efforts have
made her an idol for many and caused people to adore pictures of her
and statues of her but God and His purpose for man is lost from all
this. When I met her I was not in the Lord and was most humble before
her but when I came in the Lord and had spiritual discernment I only
felt sorry for her. She was a like a little child full of love and
desire to serve but not spiritually guided by anyone.

If we look at the Apostles' activity in Acts, they too did social work
but gave more importance to the work of the Kingdom of God and
therefore oversaw the social work but did not get totally involved in
it. They dedicated people for it and guided them in it. Jesus too
cared for the sick and suffering but He being a person of authority
did not struggle but gave them instant relief.

Coming to the purpose of Jesus washing the feet of His disciples, we
see Jesus wanted to wash only the feet and no other part of their
bodies. We can look at this in 2 ways one through scriptures and the
other historically.

In scriptures the feet symbolizes the way of life of a person. It is
for this reason Moses was instructed to remove his sandals when he
approached the burning bush on the mountain. The Lord wants us to be
what we are and as we are before Him and not to imitate anyone or have
a put on.

Washing of feet symbolizes forgiveness of sins. It symbolizes cleaning
of the visible filth or known sins that gets attached to us in our
walk in daily life. And since the bread which Jesus broke with them
also symbolized the sacrifice of Gilt as instructed by the Lord to
Moses, therefore Jesus washed their feet at this table before the
sacrifice of Gilt.

Historically it is found during the times of Jesus as man on earth the
people used to believe children with special needs were cursed (in
Greek called Teknon - meaning special children, which was used for
children with special needs and also used for chosen children - most
promises are only to chosen children not all children). These children
with special needs were also called children of the devil by the
people because people believed they were without spirit so were used
lower than servants made to sit at door steps and wash the feet of
people coming into the house. Scientist have found that these special
children have two things unique compared to others. Firstly they
cannot distinguish between skin colours (shades). For them people fair
or dark look almost the same. Secondly they have a short memory; if
anyone hurts them, after a short period of time they forget that
person had hurt them and relate with them normally as nothing
happened.

When Jesus took the wash basin and cloth in hand, He made Himself as
one of these children for whom everyone is the same irrespective a
person is rich or poor, famous or a nobody, a big sinner or a small
sinner, and as one who forgives and never remembers.

Before we partake of the Lord or stand at the altar (meaning being a
representative of Him unto His people), we need to forgive each other
and get forgiveness for our sins. Paul warns us of the consequences of
partaking in an unworthy manner. We also know how Aaron's sons were
punished when they came to the altar in an unworthy manner, God
consumed them with fire.

Let us realize the importance of forgiving, for this will not only
restrict others from truly partaking of the Lord but also restrict us
too and put us at grave risk of God's wrath.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord Jesus, You showed us how important it is to forgive and be
forgiven so as to receive the holy things of your Kingdom. Lord, You
can us authority to forgive sins and all that we bind on earth is
bound in Heaven. Lord, work in the hearts of those who find it hard to
forgive, bring your people to reconcile with each other...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

John 13:4-15
4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a
towel, and girded himself.
5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the
disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was
girded.
6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost
thou wash my feet?
7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now;
but thou shalt know hereafter.
8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered
him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my
hands and my head.
10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his
feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and
was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to
you?
13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also
ought to wash one another's feet.
15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Acts 2:39 - For the promise is unto you, and to your children
[teknon], and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our
God shall call.

Leviticus 4:2-3
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any one shall sin
unwittingly, in any of the things which Jehovah hath commanded not to
be done, and shall do any one of them:
3 if the anointed priest shall sin so as to bring guilt on the
people, then let him offer for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young
bullock without blemish unto Jehovah for a sin-offering.

Exodus 3:3-5
3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight,
why the bush is not burnt.
4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto
him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said,
Here am I.
5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy
feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.

Yokes of Iron

Jeremiah 28:17 - So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the
seventh month.

In today's message we read of how Hananiah was punished for falsely
prophesizing in the name of the Lord. There is something very
important to understand from this message.

If you notice Hananiah was not the only prophet in the court. There
were many others and all of them were doing the same mistake like
Hananiah. They all were falsely prophesizing since long, so then why
did God take so much serious action this time against Hananiah?

We should realize Jeremiah was a true Prophet of God and Hananiah had
not done the usual mistake of falsely prophesizing in the name of the
Lord, he had indirectly challenged directly the authority of Jeremiah
and indirectly the Lord by taking the yoke around Jeremiah's neck and
breaking it. It was the Lord who had asked Jeremiah to make the yoke
and put it round his neck symbolizing the bondage He would put His
people and the others under King of Babylon - King Nebuchadnezzar.

If one studies about Babylon and King Nebuchadnezzar in particular one
will understand the events concerning the Whore or Babylon the Great
of Revelation. This Church was selected by the Lord to be a bondage on
His people because the love of God had died from the hearts of the
people after the era of the first Apostles. This church ruled over the
people of God and kept them under bondage. It has made them
spiritually blind. They read scriptures, even confess them and still
do not understand them. They say prayers and do not realize what they
are professing. They think they are Christians but do not realize that
they actually rebelling against God with their traditions, their
prayers and their beliefs.

The yoke was first made of wood which symbolizes flesh and later the
Lord made it of iron which symbolizes a spiritual.

Initially this church had the fear of that one man. The person who was
heading this church and who literally called himself god on earth,
ruler of heaven and earth, having authority to excommunicate even an
Angel in Heaven. What he said was above the Word of God and no one
could question it or go against it, whoever did were killed or
socially excommunicated.

Later around the second millennium this yoke was turned from a yoke of
wood to a yoke of iron. Today these people are not looking at that one
person so much but at the traditions and beliefs of this church and it
are these that hold them down as a yoke much stronger than before. You
cannot speak to them any Truth unless this yoke of iron is broken.

When I came to the Lord and surrendered myself to the Lord the first
things He did was to attend to this yoke of iron which I had around
me. He showed me how all that I did in His name was not only far from
Him but actually against Him. Jesus said who are not with Him are
against Him. So if we are not following the Word of God then surely
whatever we are doing is against the Word of God.

Think who would tell you that the Word of God is not everything'? It
has to be someone who is against God and that is surely is from Satan.
The Beast operates in anyone or everyone who is not in the Lord or in
the Light of His Word.

This yoke was not only on Israel but also on others kingdoms,
similarly all in this church are not children of God.

Surely the iron yoke is not forever on the people of God like it was
not forever on Israel. The time will come very soon when Men and Women
of God will expose and bring down this Babylon and stop all its
business in the name of religion, and like King Nebuchadnezzar was
made to live on grass in the wilderness so also would this church be.
But unfortunately like the time King Nebuchadnezzar repented was too
late so also when this church repents would be too late.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord we pray for the yoke of iron which is around your people. It was
You who put it around these people because of their harden hearts, the
curse of their parents which has passed on to them. Lord, we claim the
curse be broken in the lives of these children. No man can break this
yoke only You can. We know Lord You hear our prayer this moment and
You are opening their eyes, shaking their world and bring them into
Light of the Truth...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Jeremiah 28:1-4, 11-14
1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of
Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month,
that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spake
unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and
of all the people, saying,
2 Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have
broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the
vessels of the LORD'S house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took
away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim
king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon,
saith the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
11 And Hananiah spake in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus
saith the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king
of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full
years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after
that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the
prophet Jeremiah, saying,
13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Thou hast
broken the yokes of wood; but thou shalt make for them yokes of iron.
14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a
yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve
Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have
given him the beasts of the field also.

Jeremiah 27:1-8
1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king
of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 Thus saith the LORD to me; Make thee bonds and yokes, and put them
upon thy neck,
3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to
the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king
of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto
Zedekiah king of Judah;
4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus saith the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say unto your masters;
5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the
ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given
it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of
Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the
field have I given him also to serve him.
7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son,
until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great
kings shall serve themselves of him.
8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will
not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will
not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation
will I punish, saith the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine,
and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.

Revelation 17:1-6
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials,
and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee
the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and
the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her
fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw
a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy,
having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked
with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her
hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE
GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with
the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with
great admiration.

Revelation 2:4-17
4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left
thy first love.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do
the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will
remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans,
which I also hate.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of
life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things
saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich)
and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not,
but are the synagogue of Satan.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the
devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye
shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I
will give thee a crown of life.
11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things
saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat
is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even
in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain
among you, where Satan dwelleth.
14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them
that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a
stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed
unto idols, and to commit fornication.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans,
which thing I hate.
16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight
against them with the sword of my mouth.
17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the
churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden
manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name
written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

Sown in Dishonour raised in Glory, Sown in Weakness raised in Power

1 Corinthians 15:43 - It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory:
it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

When I share with people about creation including the Angelic and
Cosmic (physical world) they find some of the facts very difficult to
digest, how even the Angels were not made perfect and especially about
man who although made exactly like the Angels in spirit but yet made
lower than the Angels when he was put into the flesh. When he was son
of God he had power over his flesh and his flesh did not restrict him
but sin locked him and did not allow him to transfigure.

The one question that comes to their mind is when God created man whom
He loved so much why did not He create the best?

One should understand our God is also described as Husband Man meaning
God Who nurtures and takes care. He is an evolving God; a God Who
loves to make things better and better. The reason He made us what we
were and are is only because He wants us to prosper so that we become
better. It is like we are made a seed which becomes into a glorious
tree one day. Now think of it, where a centimetre big seed is and
where is a tree which grows tens of feet and has leaves, flowers and
fruits, it also becomes a home for the birds, the animals and source
for other trees.

When God created us His image is in us like a tree in a seed, unless
the seed dies unto itself and surrenders for to let that image to come
out, it will not become that glorious tree. God has given us the
choice to love the seed and perish, or to surrender to Him and let the
seed be broken so that we are glorified in Him. That seed is our flesh
and the tree is that Israel or son of God in us.

In today's message Paul talks of how we were sown in dishonour and
raised in glory, sown in weakness and raised in power. What God has
set for us is unimaginable to any human mind, even though God revealed
this to me yet I cannot imagine, put into picture or digest the things
He has set for us in Heaven. Foolish people think of gold and precious
stones because they think in the seed, they need to come out of the
seed to understand God's plans for us. Our God is not a pauper that
His dwelling place is made of gold and earthly stones. All the riches
of the world like dust for Him.

We need to understand in our becoming trees even the Angels will be
blessed in us. They too are awaiting their promotion through us. It is
our marriage in Christ here on earth that will take us unto our
heavenly marriage in God the Son and thereafter becoming a part of the
Glorious Temple of God the Father whom none have seen other than the
Son.

[Prayer starter]
Lord, no eyes have seen or no ears have heard what You have set forth
for man. Since these are very precious things, You give them only to
mature sons and not to infants. Lord, help us to grow in spirit so
that we may mature into sons by moulding ourselves in your image which
is in us and which You revealed in Jesus Christ. You came as man to
show us what You planted in us and made a way to break free and become
that image. Holy Spirit You are our Husband Man, it is You Who nurture
and care for us through this process. Be with us and help us surrender
unto You...

This prayer we make in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
1 Corinthians 15:42-50
42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption;
it is raised in incorruption:
43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in
weakness; it is raised in power:
44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is
a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul;
the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is
natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord
from heaven.
48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is
the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.
49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear
the image of the heavenly.
50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the
kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

1 Corinthians 2:9-11
9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither
have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared
for them that love him.
10 But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit
searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man
