I wasn't aware until after, ....
I just couldn't get into Aimoo where I am member of several groups. I thought Oh yeah another one of their glitches, although hadn't seen any notifications which sometimes come up that maintenance is happening.
HERE IS THE REASON. (O have removed groups and names to protect them)

Concerning the real reason Aimoo was shut down. Child Pornography. Aimoo has been contacted by 20 or more people who found child porn sites and other innapropriate materials on various sites. They are aware of it, have
"handled" it, by sweeping it under the carpet and looking the other way. Forum owners have complained that it was an "inconvenience" that their groups were shut down for the day. ???? Did they not get the message ... that there are multiple child porn sites on here? Doesn't anybody care that there are children, being used, abused, victimized repeatedly and murdered here?
Maybe one of their children or grandchildren might wander onto these sites. Maybe yours.
Aimoo will deny it of course and state that they're looking into it. They'll tell you any lie you want to believe. Even Google had dropped Aimoo from it's search engines. Hmmm, I wonder why. Good for them!
Please make a difference. Get out of Aimoo. But first, send complaints about the porn sites. Take some action. You could save a life. Maybe more.

Aimoo has shown their true colors. Nothing matters to Aimoo but money. Harry is an arrogant mean spiritied person and makes me sick! I will not going into what I think of the so called help. My account was deleted. They are trying to stop me from getting my graphics down. I am using my hubby's account as I had made him an admin here just in case. I am deleting all my content. I am not leaving it here and being worried about it going up on a porn site. I am being attacked by Aimoo for telling the truth. I am glad I have done so. I slept well last night for the first time since I first found that filth. . I will miss you all. I am closing group
All of you who are my true friends know me and know I did nothing to be banned for but make it known they were NOT deleting the child porn. I did not cause the shut down last weekend. That was totally server issues with Amazon.com. I hope Aimoo is shut down forever in the near future. They care about money and that is all. We do not matter to them and those poor children being abused do not matter to them either. I am going to be deleting all the content I can here.

A knowledgeable party discussed this with me and he feels Aimoo simply screwed up their own DNS servers. Although, I do know someone did report the child porn sites that investigation would take MONTHS and the report was not made but a short time ago. I have reported bad sites as Babs suggested and the sites are still opened. Aimoo is NOT a safe place for kids that's for sure. The blame for the outage lays at the feet of Aimoo. The powers that be at Aimoo are so effing ignorant they never take responsibility for anything......they always blame someone else. I can't stand liars, thieves and perverts. Seems that is what runs Aimoo. I am about a hairs breath away from closing shop and finding a new hobby. I love making tags and sets and skins for others but Aimoo has just gotten worse and worse. I am fed up. I also think putting finding bad sites off on the members pretty low. That is not our job....we don't get paid to do Aimoo's work. We pay Aimoo so they can hire someone to do that work. My favorite saying now is Aimoo is full of MooPoo.

i would first like to say how much i have enjoyed in the past
the friendship's and fellowship's i have had the pleasure of establishing

i have had the opportunity to form bonds and shared human traits
such as.. laughter, humor, wit , sadness, births and the loss of loved one's

and sadly enough even the loss of some member's in groups.

Most of the groups and the member's many that i participate in are very conscience's
of all these human factor's i have named, including being well aware of only using copy~right~safe~tags
some of us are even more cautious as of using (crst)

this is our personal choice just as i am one of the first
who would come to anyone's defense as to having our rights not violated or stepped on

the response i got back and you can see for yourself was they left up my aplogies for this format this was only after i issued the letter a second time because for some reason it had become scrambled {strange} they claim they were shut down because of certain members who had reported this child porn did it.

Admin removed your message because you provided false information. Aimoo is working on the issues you mentioned, not ignoring them; and the person you referred to was banned for other reasons, not for the one you stated. You can view the message on the Banned Members Board.

{{{{{Hugs for All}}}}} It is a sad state of affairs here at Aimoo. I pray we all find new homes and are blessed! I have loved having you all here together and will miss our comraderie. But, I am not out of things to do. I will be around just in a new home. The only sad thing is we can't truly help the children we saw in those pictures. That one little boy's face will haunt me the rest of my days. I pray for him and ask God to help him. That poor child still has spirit in his eyes but such sadness too. It broke my heart.
