Focus: Heavenly Rewards

To my mind maybe we wont be concerned with earthly matters once we are in heaven cos God promised he would wipe away our tears for example.
But in my opinion we would be looking up people who are there besides Jesus of course.
I know i would want to talk with many like Paul the apostle for example.
I know it is said animals dont have souls but I can't imagine heaven without the beautiful creatures and it is said the lion will lay down with the lamb.
Enough to ponder, we hopefully will get more input here about rewards,
late and difficult for me to edit these typos on notepad before posting.

I think this topic was touched on some months ago by Krista, and the rewards mentioned at the time were crowns, they are mentioned in the bible, cant put my finger on them at the moment.

I do remember at the time thinking and saying the same as you Emma what greater reward can i have than being with the Father, and i know i will be with Him, enough reward for me

i dont know all i can think is like what would we possible need in heaven i mean when you think about meeting people that we have known in life and in a way it got me through when my dog died and i was told animals dont go to heaven once we in Gods presence we wouldent even think about anyone else let alone go looking for them so what possibly would or could a reward in heaven be i honestly havent got a clue so what does getting a reward in heaven mean

Its made me to wonder what will I receive rewards for. What have I done that I can think of which didn't if I am honest not had self involved remembering God shows us that if we are humble then he will exhault us in due time yes this means on earth no doubt but surely it covers also our heavenly reward.

Totally agree with you Emma being in heaven is reward in itself and being in presence of God awesome but the word of God says our walk with him on earth we will be rewarded in heaven

i know God said we will be rewarded in heaven but with out sounding super righeous or anything but just to be in the presence and righeousness and all glory of God would be reward in it self what more could we ever want or need

There is much said about false prophets which yes we are to beware of.

I would like us to look at our own deeds and ponder our thoughts on heavenly rewards we have been promised.
Let a man examine himself are we sending up stubble and hay?

God resists the proud springs to mind.
