For us the redeemed
Revelation 6:1-2
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. 2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
Not a crown extorted through the atrocities of war, but a gift A "crown" of God.
Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: (Gal 3:3)
"Thou art all fair, My love; there is no spot in thee. Come with Me from Lebanon, my
spouse," (Song of Solomon 4:7, .
We come close to the Crucified and look at Him. It is Christ who delivers me from the sin as there is no good in my flesh. Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph 2:9)I see Christ with His outstretched Hands. As I try to run to Him, He runs faster than me and comes to me. He embraces me. He now puts on me white garments and a ring on my finger.
Rev:5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Rev:2 10
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
1 Peter 5:4
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
2 Timothy 4:8
Henceforth there is laid up for me and you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give us at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
He takes us to His banqueting table and his banner over us is love.
May we Take his Word to us and while there is yet time, ...tell All of his Wonderous GIFT
