Poem I pray for you

The tears you cry,
The loneliness you feel,
The hope which still remains
That His loving hands will heal.
A dear friend you are,
A sweet and caring friend.
How I wish I had the power
To bring this storm to an end,
To bring sunshine, rainbows,
And gentle winds your way.
But all I can really do
Is take your hand and pray.
May God's light fall upon you,
May His grace bring you peace.
Within His comforting arms
May you find sweet release.
May His love give you strength
To carry this cross you bear.
Come the end of your journey,
May healing await you there.
With the morning light
Comes thoughts of you,
Take my hand, dear friend,
I will see you through.
Gentle winds are blowing
Just around the bend.
There your cross will be lifted
And you'll be reborn again.
