Parents Fight Back Against Mandatory Queer Indoctrination At School
Schools across America many times are run by managers who come with baggage from the extreme-left ideologies of higher academia. Their plans often include spreading those ideals to students - whether or not they or their parents want such indoctrination.

Israel strikes deep inside Iran
“Behold, I stir up the Medes against them, Who do not value silver Or delight in gold.

Israel launched an attack deep in Iran early Friday morning, reportedly targeting a military facility close to the city of Isfahan.

Three Iranian sources confirmed to The New York Times that an airbase in Isfahan was targeted, while anonymous Israeli and U.S. officials were cited by outlets as saying that the IDF conducted the strike.

Iranian media denied any Israeli missile attack, claiming that the Islamic Republic had shot down drones in its airspace. Iran’s nuclear facilities were not hit, according to the reports.

An Israeli official told the Washington Post that the assault “was intended to signal to Iran that Israel had the ability to strike inside the country.”

Jerusalem reportedly told the United States on Thursday that it planned to retaliate to Tehran’s massive drone and missile assault over the weekend within a 24- to 48-hour window.

There was no immediate comment from the Israel Defense Forces or the Prime Minister’s Office.

The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem issued an alert to government employees and their families restricting travel to the Tel Aviv, Beersheva and Jerusalem areas out of “an abundance of caution following reports that Israel conducted a retaliatory strike inside Iran.”

Overnight on Saturday, Iran launched more than 300 missiles, including ballistic missiles, and drones at the Jewish state. The IDF said it and its military allies intercepted some 99% of the projectiles.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that Israel would make its own decision on how to respond to Tehran’s unprecedented attack.

“I thank our friends for supporting Israel’s defense—support both in words and in deeds,” Netanyahu said ahead of a Cabinet meeting in Jerusalem.

“They also have all kinds of suggestions and advice. I appreciate those, but I want to make it clear: We will make our own decisions, and the State of Israel will do everything necessary to defend itself,” he added.

Western governments have called on Israel to refrain from retaliating against Tehran, fearing the expansion of regional war.

U.S. President Joe Biden reportedly told Netanyahu during a phone call on Saturday that Washington would not participate in or support an Israeli retaliatory attack.

Israel’s Kan News public broadcaster reported this week that Netanyahu had backtracked on a pre-approved military response against Iran due to pressure from Biden.

Unnamed Egyptian officials told the Qatari Al-Araby Al-Jadeed news outlet on Wednesday that Washington had agreed to back an Israeli operation in Gaza’s southernmost city of Rafah in exchange for Jerusalem forgoing a major strike on the Islamic Republic.

In January 2023, Israel reportedly conducted a drone attack on a production facility for Shahed-136 kamikaze UAVs near Isfahan.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei turned 85 on April 19.

Iran Hit by Plague of… Crocodiles
They did not remember His strength, or the day He redeemed them from the foe; how He displayed His signs in Egypt, His wonders in the plain of Zoan.
PSALMS78:42(THE ISRAEL BIBLE)
Due to intense flooding, Iranians are being threatened by crocodiles, which, according to esoteric sources, were the reptiles God used to punish the Egyptians in the second plague.
IIran has been hit by extreme flooding, and at least 18 people have died in flash floods that have swept the southeastern Iranian province of Sistan-Baluchestan. Several villages were destroyed, and power and water were cut to around 300 more. Landslides that have blocked critical roads and communication routes. Government sources have indicated damage to water facilities in 289 villages and six cities.

Iranian state news agency IRNA reported on Thursday that heavy rains and flooding also hit the provinces of Bandar Abbas, Kerman, Sistan, and Baluchistan. Rivers overflowed, and residents were warned by the Department of Environment, highlighting concerns about “short-nosed crocodiles” being forced out of their natural habitats.

“Due to the floods, especially in the south of the province, in the Baluchestan region, short-snouted mugger crocodiles may get out of ponds.”

The statement asked the people to avoid approaching wildlife habitats.Residents were told to avoid unnecessary travel near the Bahu Kalat riverbanks, wetlands, marshes, and the peripheries of wildlife habitats until the floodwaters have fully receded and conditions stabilize.

The mugger crocodile is a medium-sized broad-snouted crocodile, also known as a marsh crocodile. It is native to freshwater habitats from southern Iran. It can reach a body length of 16 feet and is a powerful swimmer, but also walks on land in search of suitable waterbodies during the hot season.

According to Jewish esoteric sources, the crocodile warning comes in time for Passover. The second plague in Egypt, normally identified as an infestation of frogs, was a scourge of crocodiles. This is the opinion of the 15th-century Portuguese commentator, Rabbi Isaac ben Judah Abarbanel who gives two logical reasons why tzfardeya means crocodile. The first reason is that the Egyptians worshipped a crocodile god. Understanding that the plagues came not only to harass but also to educate and to attempt to uproot the idolatry and decadence prevalent in Egypt, it would be consistent with Divine punishment to attack their deity. Abarbanel also cites a verse in Psalms that describes the tzfardeya as tools of destruction, a description somewhat difficult to ascribe to frogs.

He inflicted upon them swarms of insects to devour them, frogs to destroy them. Psalms 78:45

The Midrash Hagadol, citing Rabbi Yitzchak, notes that Moshe prayed that the tzfaradeya return to the waters of the Nile and not disappear completely (Exodus 8:7). “Every year these beasts emerge and kill people.”

In the 14th century, Rabbeinu B’chaye (Exodus 10:19) offers a similar description: “sometimes it comes out of the Nile where it lives, rising onto the river’s edge and swallowing whatever it finds, even two or three humans at a time. Neither spear nor arrow can overcome its body, unless aimed for its belly. Physicians say it is venomous and that touching its body, even after its death, is harmful to man.”

The heavy rains brought another plague along with them. Videos surfaced showing blood-red rainwater flowing on the island of Hormuz. While the phenomenon is not unknown, the event’s timing caused many to comment.

Just a few days ago, Iran launched a massive attack, targeting Israel with over 350 drones, ICBMs, and cruise missiles. Miraculously, the attack was largely ineffective.

Jews will read about the plagues on Monday night at the Passover seder. According to Jewish tradition and based on a verse in Micah, the ten plagues will reappear before the Messiah.

I will show him wondrous deeds As in the days when You sallied forth from the land of Egypt. Micah 7:15

Jewish sources predict that all of the plagues will reappear in the final Redemption but in even more powerful forms. It is written in Midrash Tanchuma, homiletic teachings collected around the fifth century, that “just as God struck the Egyptians with 10 plagues, so too He will strike the enemies of the Jewish people at the time of the Redemption.”

Nahmanides, a prominent 12th-century Torah scholar from Spain, wrote in his commentary on the plagues that the primary reason God punished the Egyptians was not for enslaving the Israelite people, but for dismissing God and his influence in their lives.

This concept was explained by Rabbi Bahya ben Asher, a 13th-century Spanish commentator, who wrote, “In Egypt, God used only part of His strength. When the final redemption comes, God will show much, much more of His power.”

Home » River turns blood-red in Iran just in time for Passover

While Iran is suffering from an extended drought, its prayers for rain were answered in the most Biblical manner as a video appeared on social media showing torrential rainfall flowing bright red.

Iran’s Meteorological Organization is not known for its prophetic inclinations. However, last month, it issued a “red warning” for flooding in five western provinces as a new wave of heavy rains approaches just ahead of Nowruz, the Persian New Year. Iran is suffering a drought, and overall rainfall for the year is 28 percent below the long-term average.

Rain did indeed fall in copious amounts, but videos on social media showed torrents of water flowing blood red on the island of Hormuz. While the phenomenon is not unknown, the event’s timing caused many to comment.

Just a few days ago, Iran launched a massive attack, targeting Israel with over 350 drones, ICBMs, and cruise missiles. Miraculously, the attack was largely ineffective.

And Jews worldwide will be reading about a blood-red river next Monday night at the Passover Seder. This was described in the book of Exodus:

Moshe and Aharon did just as Hashem commanded: he lifted up the rod and struck the water in the Nile in the sight of Pharaoh and his courtiers, and all the water in the Nile was turned into blood Exodus 7:20

The image of a blood-red river has strong connotations for the Biblically-minded but is also significant to Muslims. In Islam, there are five plagues, i.e. floods, locusts, lice, toads, and turning of drinking water into blood, while in the Bible there are ten plagues i.e. water into blood, frogs, lice, wild animals, diseased livestock boils, storms of fire, locusts, darkness and death of the firstborn. According to the Koran, the plagues were brought by Moses (Musa), one of the five most prominent prophets in Islam.

How ‘Ironclad’ is the Bidenites’ Support for Israel?
The short answer is “not very.” The long answer is set out here: “US ‘ironclad’ support for Israel means ‘we won’t let you fight back.'” Elder of Ziyon, April 14, 2024: President Biden loves to use the word “ironclad” in describing US support for Israel’s security. He used that term while campaigning in 2019, saying that […]

Home » REPORT: Biden approved Iranian Attack on Israel
It has been revealed that Iranian officials communicated their intent to launch a massive attack against Israel with the intention that this message be conveyed to the United States. Through these same diplomatic channels, the US conveyed its tacit assent on the condition that any action it took had to be “within certain limits”.

On Sunday, Reuters cited a Turkish diplomatic source speaking on condition of anonymity as saying that Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had spoken to both his US and Iranian counterparts in the past week to discuss the planned Iranian attack on Israel.

“Iran informed us in advance of what would happen. Possible developments also came up during the meeting with Blinken, and they (the US) conveyed to Iran through us that this reaction must be within certain limits,” the Turkish source said.

“In response, Iran said the reaction would be a response to Israel’s attack on its embassy in Damascus and that it would not go beyond this,” he added.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian confirmed this on Sunday, saying that Iran gave neighboring countries and the United States 72 hours’ notice that it would launch the attack.

A senior official in the Biden administration denied that the White House was given advance notice.

“That is absolutely not true,” the official said to the media. “They did not give a notification, nor did they give any sense of … ‘these will be the targets, so evacuate them.'”

“We received a message from the Iranians through the Swiss as this [attack] was ongoing. This was basically suggesting that they were finished after this, but it was still an ongoing attack. So that was (their) message to us,” the U.S. official said. He suggested that the Iranians’ claim they had pre-warned the US of the attack was to compensate for the lack of any major damage from the attack.

In a televised speech on Friday when the attack was still imminent but unrealized, President Biden addressed the Iranian threat, saying he would not divulge secret information but expected Iran to attack Israel “sooner, rather than later”. His one-word response to the possibility of Iran attacking Israeli civilian centers was to warn , “Don’t.”

On Sunday, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that the Biden administration “is proud to have played a critical role” in preventing the loss of life from the Iranian attack.

“The United States commitment to Israel’s security is sacrosanct,” Miller said. “Our contributions to Israel’s defense against Iran are a clear manifestation of that commitment.”

This “sacrosanct commitment did not include allowing Israel to respond to the attack. On Saturday, President Joe Biden told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a phone call that Washington would not support an Israeli retaliatory attack.

Despite the indications that the Biden administration had prior knowledge and given tacit permission for the attack, the White House blamed President Trump for Iranian aggression. On Sunday, White House national security communications spokesperson John Kirby gave an interview in which he blamed the previous administration for exiting the JCPOA nuclear agreement with Iran.

“It was the previous administration that decided to get us out of the Iran deal,” Kirby said. “And now Iran is so much dramatically closer to a potential nuclear weapon capability than they were before Mr. Trump was elected.”

It should be noted that since Biden took office, his administration has removed sanctions, accounting for an additional $32 billion to $35 billion in oil revenue for Iran. About 70% of Iran’s oil exports are to China. The administration also paid the Iranian government $6 billion in ransom in return for five hostages.

In 2020 the State Department assessed that Iran sends $100 million a year to Palestinian terrorist groups including Hamas and Hezbollah. Last year Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh said that his group receives $70 million from Iran, plus long-range rockets but recent reports claim that this increased to $350 million in the last year.

On November 14, five weeks after the October 7 attack by Hamas, the Biden administration extended a sanctions waiver to allow Iran to access upwards of $10 billion in electricity revenue once held in escrow in Iraq.

While the Biden administration is removing sanctions on Iran, Democratic lawmakers are increasing calls to make US aid to Israel conditional. More than 50 Democrats in the House, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), signed a letter this month demanding an investigation into the inadvertent IDF drone attack on a World Central Kitchen convoy. The letter called to withhold aid at least until it’s completed.

The Iranian government claims the massive attack on Israel was in response to a missile attack on the Iranian consulate annex building adjacent to the Iranian embassy in Damascus on April 1. Sixteen people were killed in total, including seven Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) soldiers, five Iran-backed militia, one Hezbollah fighter, one Iranian advisor, and two civilians. Among those killed in the attack was Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Zahedi who was credited in Iranian media as being the “architect” of the October 7 attack by Hamas. Zahedi was also a member of Hezbollah’s Shura Council. Zahedi was the most senior IRGC officer to be killed since the assassination of Qasem Soleimani by the U.S. in January 2020.

As per its longstanding policy, the Israeli government did not comment or take credit for the attack. The attack was widely condemned by governments who claimed it illegally targeted a civilian structure. The Iranian government claimed the embassy located in Damascus was on Iranian soil. It is unclear why the Syrian diplomatic facility was populated exclusively by a large number of Iranian military personnel. The Israeli military spokesman claimed that the building is neither a consulate nor an embassy, but a military building of Quds forces “disguised as a civilian structure in Damascus.”

On Saturday night, Iran fired more than 300 weapons at Israel, including at least 170 aerial drones, 30 cruise missiles, and 120 ballistic missiles. The attack constituted the largest drone attack in history, but the attack was considered a major failure. Most were shot down by Israel’s Iron Dome defense system and with help from the U.S., Britain, France and Jordan. An estimated 50% of Iran’s 120 ballistic missiles failed to launch or crashed in flight, unnamed US officials told CBS News and The Wall Street Journal.

None of the drones or cruise missiles entered Israeli territory. Speaking to CBS News, two US officials said five ballistic missiles made it through air defenses and impacted Israeli territory.

Shalom Zahara, Please enjoy today's Daily Inspiration from Israel.

A psalm for praise. Raise a shout for the LORD, all the earth
מִזְמוֹר לְתוֹדָה הָרִיעוּ לַיהֹוָה כׇּל־הָאָרֶץ
Psalms 100:1 (The Israel Bible)

A Night of Miracles
By Shira Schechter

Last night, an event unfolded here in Israel that can only be described as miraculous. Iran launched over 300 drones and missiles aimed at Israel, yet astonishingly, 99% were intercepted and destroyed before reaching their targets. Most of these were neutralized even before entering Israeli airspace. Though many of us were forced to run into bomb shelters in the middle of the night, only minor injuries were reported - a seven-year-old girl was lightly wounded by shrapnel and one Israeli military base sustained minimal damage. This outcome is nothing short of miraculous.
Rockets in My Backyard
Israel was attacked by Iran last night, and I want to let you know what it was really like.
In moments like these, our thoughts turn reflexively to gratitude. Psalm 100, a chapter of praise and thanksgiving, resonates deeply with our current emotions. Historically, this psalm accompanied the korban todah, a thanksgiving sacrifice offered to express gratitude to God for deliverance from peril, such as severe illness or perilous travels. The salvation we experienced last night compels us to recite this psalm of thankfulness.

The korban todah, the Thanksgiving sacrifice, was accompanied by 40 loaves of bread, which had to be consumed within a day and a night. The large quantity of food and the short amount of time given to eat it necessitated that it be shared with others. This underscores a crucial lesson: our gratitude should not be a private affair. When we experience divine intervention, it is our duty to share our joy and thankfulness with others. The opening verse of Psalm 100 exhorts us to “Raise a shout for the LORD, all the earth.” It’s a call to broadcast God’s miraculous deeds far and wide, encouraging the global community to join in recognition and praise.

A deeper homiletical insight connects Psalm 100 to the biblical narrative of Sarah. The Bible tells us that when she died Sarah was “one hundred years, and twenty years, and seven years” (Genesis 23:1) The sages interpret this to mean that at each stage of her life, Sarah retained the virtues of earlier years—her beauty and purity of youth persisted into her maturity. Homiletically, it’s said that Sarah recited Psalm 100 with the same passion and intent as she recited Psalm 20, a psalm of supplication. Sarah teaches us that our gratitude should be as fervent as our pleas for help.

As we reflect on the near calamity of last night and the providential shield that protected Israel, we can only express profound thanks to God. Let us invoke Psalm 100 with the same intensity and devotion as we did in our prayers when we first learned of the imminent danger. The whole world witnessed a miracle last night—let us ensure they also hear our voices raised in thanksgiving and praise.

Is the Sweetness Worth the Sting?
By Sara Lamm

This morning, as I was driving my son to school, one of my favorite Israeli classic songs, Noami Shemer’s Al Kol Eleh, came on the radio, and without missing a beat my seven-year-old started to sing along! Why was this so special? I don’t recall ever having played that song for him before. I actually had no idea he even knew it. Hearing his sweet little voice sing one of the songs that, without fail, moves my heart, was a special parenting win. I’m sure if I had heard him singing Yesterday by the Beatles or humming the tune to Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, I would also have been amazed. But Shemer’s song has a unique and prophetic meaning. Even though it was written over 40 years ago, it’s incredibly relevant today. Don’t worry; I’ll "tune" you in on the lyrics and how prophetic 1980s Israeli classic rock music is. .

There I will accept them, and there I will take note of your contributions and the choicest offerings of all your sacred things.

The Mountain of the Height of Israel
By Rabbi Pesach Wolicki

How does the Bible emphasize a point? There are no underlines, italics, or bold type. The main way the Bible expresses emphasis is by repeating itself or, similarly, by telling us information that we already know. Another way the Bible emphasizes a point is by inserting a word or phrase into a sentence that appears to serve no purpose. It doesn’t seem to be adding anything to the meaning of the verse. This calls our attention to what seems to be superfluous. Ironically, it is these words that usually contain the most central teachings of the passage.

Keeping this in mind, the question that emerges from this careful reading of our verse is this: What is the meaning of the second phrase in the verse which goes on to describe the Temple Mount as “the high mountain of Israel”? This description is unique. Only in the book of Ezekiel is the Temple Mount described this way. What is the meaning of this phrase and why is it used here?

You shall observe the festival of Passover—eating unleavened bread for seven days, as I have commanded you—at the set time of the month of Abib, for in the month of Abib you went forth from Egypt.

A Redemption Greater Than the Exodus?
By Shira Schechter
https://theisraelbible.com/a-redemption-greater-than-the-exodus/?
Picture this: a single blossom pushing through the hardened earth, reaching for the sun. It is a silent yet powerful declaration of resilience and rebirth. This is the essence of the Heberew month of Nisan, a time when the echoes of ancient liberations ignite our hopes for a future where harmony and renewal bloom across the world.

Nisan is considered the month of redemption, reflecting the exodus of our forefathers from Egyptian bondage which took place in this month. "In Nisan our forefathers were redeemed from Egypt, and in Nisan we will be redeemed" (Rosh Hashanah 11a). The sages teach us that Nisan's redemptive power isn't only about remembering the past, it is a time to look forward with hope to the future, ultimate, redemption as well. This aspect of Nisan, celebrating past redemption while anticipating future salvation, gives this month a special place in the heart of Jewish consciousness.

But the prophet Jeremiah tells us that the future redemption will be even greater than the Exodus from Egypt. What can be greater than the Ten Plagues and the splitting of the Red Sea?

Hope in the Depths of Darkness: The Spirit of the People of Israel
In the wake of the events of October 7th, twelve young Christians from across North America, brought together by Israel365, landed in Israel. Their mission was clear yet complex: to dive deep into the heart of a nation perennially under siege, witness its people’s resilience, and understand their connection to this land through the lens of their faith.

GAZA HAMAS HOSTAGE ISRAEL TERRORISM UNITED STATES (AMERICA)
“President Biden must stand with Israel until Hamas is in ruins,” stated Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.).

Members of Congress offered a range of comments on and around the six-month mark since Hamas terrorists attacked Israel and kidnapped civilians to Gaza, where they continue to hold them.

“Six months ago today, Israelis suffered unspeakable violence and terror. The slaughter of innocent lives by Hamas will forever be etched in the memory of our Jewish brothers and sisters, and I join Americans across the country who are mourning the loss of those tragically taken on Oct. 7,” House Majority Leader Mike Johnson (R-La.) stated.

“Since the massacre, it’s been appalling to watch anti-Israel rhetoric and support for an unconditional ceasefire grow among Democrats in Washington, even as Hamas holds 130 Israelis and Americans hostage in Gaza,” Johnson added. “Unlike our Democrat colleagues, House Republicans remain clear-eyed about who the enemy in this fight is, and we will not stop working and praying until each of the hostages is returned home.”

On April 7—the six-month mark since Oct. 7—”Washington must be united in our support for our great ally, Israel, as they fight for their sovereignty and right to exist,” the House speaker said. “It’s time to stop lecturing Israel on how it should best defend itself and begin equipping our friend with the resources necessary to eliminate the threat of Hamas, once and for all.”

‘Unprecedented’: Members of Congress slam Biden ultimatum to Israel

BIDEN CONGRESS GAZA HAMAS ISRAEL PALESTINIANS TERRORISM UNITED STATES (AMERICA)
Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) said “Joe Biden is about to abandon Israel the same way he abandoned Afghanistan.”

Members of Congress denounced an ultimatum that U.S. President Joe Biden gave to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a Thursday phone call—made changes that Washington has called for or face the prospect of U.S. policy changes.

“In this war against Hamas—no conditions for Israel,” wrote Sen. John Fetterman, in response to a quote from a New York Times article about how Biden “appeared to condition support on how Israel changes course.”

Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.) noted an “offensive speech” last month by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) calling Netanyahu an obstacle to peace and calling for early Israeli elections. “Many Democrats have a serious anti-Israel problem,” Cole stated.

The congressman called Biden’s ultimatum to Netanyahu “unacceptable.”

“The recent actions and statements of both Senator Schumer and President Biden with respect to Israel are both outrageous and inappropriate,” he said.

For the two and others “to publicly criticize a democratic ally that is defending itself from a brutal terrorist attack, including the majority leader’s call for new elections in Israel, is both outrageous and unprecedented,” Cole said.

“President Biden and Senate Schumer appear to have lost all sense of moral and political clarity,” he added, “calling on both of them to retract their statements and stand with our great ally, Israel, at this critical moment. To do anything else is a public betrayal to our friends in Israel and effectively supports an enemy to civilized people all around the world.”

House Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-La.) noted that Hamas started the war by brutally attacking Israeli civilians and it continues to hold more than 100 hostages and has rejected ceasefires. “The Biden administration’s treatment of Israel is outrageous,” he stated. “The United States must stand unequivocally with our greatest ally in the Middle
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-Texas) stated that “know-nothing activists—who think a transgender flag and Hamas flag go well together—have unfortunately infiltrated Biden’s thinking.”

“Let’s put this idea of a ceasefire into perspective. You want Israel to stop fighting against an enemy that has no intention of ever stopping. You know when there was a ceasefire? Oct. 6. You know what happened on Oct. 7? The biggest massacre of Israelis in recent history,” Crenshaw said. “The rape of countless women. The burning of infants. The ruthless killing of civilians.”

“War is always ugly, but the blood of every civilian death is on Hamas. Not Israel,” he added. “The demand should be simple: Hamas must surrender totally and completely and allow a transition of power. Hamas can never have power again. If you care about Palestinian lives, that is what must happen.”

Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) stated that “Joe Biden is about to abandon Israel the same way he abandoned Afghanistan.”

“He is caving to the Hamas sympathizers who have taken over the Democratic party and given up our strongest ally in the Middle East,” Wagner said. “His announcement could destabilize the region and embolden Iran, and it is just more proof of his weakness on the world stage.”

[OP-ED] The Only Deal on Hamas’s Table is Defeat of the Jewish State
APRIL 7, 2024
by Ruthie Blum
Every crack in Israel’s societal armor serves to stiffen the terrorists’ intransigence.
very crack in Israel’s societal armor serves to stiffen the terrorists’ intransigence.

In a monologue on Friday during Israeli Channel 12’s current-affairs program “Ofira and Levinson,” the mother of one of the remaining 133 hostages in Gaza called on Benjamin Netanyahu to resign.

“Mr. Prime Minister, you are running out of time,” said Einav Zangauker, whose 24-year-old son was abducted on Oct. 7 by Hamas terrorists. “You’re not returning Matan; you’re not accepting the hostage-release deal that’s on the table. Go home.”

She went on: “I’ll find someone responsible enough to bring [him] and the other hostages back to their families…I’ve run out of patience, and invite you to step aside. You’re just sitting around wasting time and that’s a pity.”

Zangauker has been expressing this sentiment with increasing frequency. And it’s hard not to shudder sympathetically at what she and the rest of the devastated families have been going through for the past six months.

But where do they get the idea that there’s a “deal on the table” being prevented by Netanyahu? And what do they imagine would happen if he were to “step aside”?

Do they actually believe that a different leader or government in Jerusalem would spur Hamas to soften its stance? Can’t they see that every crack in Israel’s societal armor serves to stiffen the terrorists’ intransigence?

Matan Zangauker, 24. (source: JNS)
A review of recent history is in order here.

Israel, headed by Netanyahu, agreed in November to a pause in the war and the release from Israeli jails of three Palestinian terrorists per hostage held in Gaza. The exchange, brokered by Qatar and Egypt, took place over the course of a week. It would have continued if Hamas hadn’t violated the deal by refusing to provide a list of the remaining women and children in captivity and blitzing Israel with renewed rocket barrages.

In response, the Israel Defense Forces resumed fighting on Dec. 1. Less than three weeks later, Netanyahu offered another weeklong pause in the fighting and additional humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, in exchange for 40 hostages, including all the women, children and elderly men in urgent need of medical treatment.

Hamas rejected the offer. It also rejected Israel’s (a.k.a. Netanyahu’s) proposal in late January for a two-month pause in the fighting, a release of a significant number of Palestinian terrorists and the relocation of Yahya Sinwar and other Hamas leaders, in exchange for the rest of the hostages.

Then came February, when U.S. President Joe Biden told reporters that a “ceasefire” agreement was days away. But Hamas wasn’t having it.

Toward the end of March, Netanyahu agreed to pause IDF operations for six weeks and to release some 700 Palestinian prisoners, many with blood on their hands, in exchange for 40 hostages. Hamas nixed that, too—a day after the United States enabled the passage of anti-Israel U.N. Security Council Resolution 2728.

Which brings us to April. After an Israeli delegation visited Cairo last Tuesday, in yet another effort to reach a hostage-release deal, Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh reiterated his delusional conditions.

“We are committed to our demands: the permanent ceasefire, comprehensive and complete withdrawal of the enemy out of the Gaza Strip, the return of all displaced people to their homes, allowing all aid needed for our people in Gaza, rebuilding the Strip, lifting the blockade and achieving an honorable prisoner-exchange deal,” he said on Wednesday, during a televised speech marking the annual anti-Israel hate-fest of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Day.

Today, Netanyahu has consented to an additional round of talks in Egypt. Since the only deal acceptable to Hamas is the defeat of the Jewish state, good luck with that.

Einav Zangauker has good reason to be panicked about the fate of her son. The same goes for the loved ones of each and every captive in the clutches of Hamas and Islamic Jihad rapist murderers.

Nor is there a soul in the country who is indifferent to their suffering. Netanyahu is no exception.

He is, however, tasked with a mission that requires nerves of steel: combating the forces of evil while attempting to compromise with them. Most of the families are keenly aware that nationwide fear for the welfare of the hostages has made combat all the more complex for the IDF and political echelon alike.

It’s imperative for Israelis to help the latter do their jobs—for the sake of the hostages and the future of the state—without the kind of interference that’s keeping Sinwar alive and kicking.

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU GAZA HAMAS HOSTAGE IDF - ISRAEL DEFENSE FORCE ISRAEL PALESTINIANS
“There is no victory without entering Rafah; there is no victory without destroying the Hamas battalions there,” stated the premier.
Israel will defeat Hamas by entering the terrorist stronghold of Rafah in the Gaza Strip and destroying the remaining battalions there, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed Sunday night.
“There is no victory without entering Rafah; there is no victory without destroying the Hamas battalions there,” said Netanyahu in a primetime address, adding that the operation “will take time, but it will happen.”

The premier reiterated that only a combination of military pressure and tough negotiations would bring about the release of the remaining 134 hostages taken to Gaza by Palestinian terrorists on Oct. 7.

“I will do everything possible to bring everyone home. Every time there is some intelligence about them and the operational needs allow it, I authorize missions to bring them out [of Gaza],” he said.

“As Israel showed more openness in the negotiations, Hamas hardened its stance,” stated Netanyahu. He claimed that Hamas is demanding the return of all residents of northern Gaza, including terrorists.

“I’m committed to bringing everyone back, all of our men and women, soldiers, citizens—I will not leave anyone behind. God willing, we will continue to work, continue to fight, and we will win together,” he said.

Netanyahu addressed the nation as the Israel Defense Forces is inching closer to launching a major ground operation targeting the last four Hamas terrorist battalions holed up in Rafah.

Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, in remarks during a visit to the 98th Division’s headquarters on Sunday, vowed to keep fighting until the IDF eliminates or captures “all terrorists, all over the Gaza Strip.”

The looming incursion has resulted in friction with the United States administration. In addition to some 3,000 terrorists, there are also well over a million Gazans sheltering in Rafah, the Gaza Strip’s southernmost city, causing concerns regarding potential harm to noncombatants.

U.S. President Joe Biden is considering conditioning military aid to Israel if Jerusalem moves forward with its conquest of Rafah, Politico reported earlier this month, citing officials in his administration.
As part of the preparations for the ground invasion, Jerusalem has presented plans to direct a significant number of civilians from Rafah to humanitarian islands in the center of the coastal enclave. Netanyahu has reportedly ordered the purchase of 40,000 tents for evacuees.

Gen. Charles Q. Brown, Jr., chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, told IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Herzl Halevi in a recent conversation that “we will not accept any more thousands of innocent deaths in Rafah, as in Gaza [City] and Khan Yunis,” according to the Kan News broadcaster.

The highest-ranking military officer in the U.S. offered Halevi an alternative plan focused around the isolation and encirclement of Rafah by Israeli forces, with targeted raids based on intelligence information.

Netanyahu has repeatedly emphasized that telling Israel to refrain from operating in Rafah is equivalent to demanding that it lose the war. Many of the 134 hostages still in the hands of Hamas in Gaza after 176 days are believed to be held in Rafah. Two captives were rescued from the city by Israeli special forces in a daring military operation last month.

Around three-quarters of Jewish Israelis and a majority of Israelis overall support expanding the military operations against Hamas to Rafah, according to polling conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute.

The Two State Delusion
By Sara Lamm
Here’s a phrase that’ll fill your "Conflict in the Middle East Bingo Card":

The Two-State Solution.

Have you ever wondered what the Two-State Solution truly entails and why it spells trouble for Israel's security and harmony? Bingo! You’re in the right spot.

Far from a peace pathway, the current Two-State Solution has stumbled between endless hurdles and rejections, most recently from Hamas and its allies.

So much so that Rabbi Pesach Wolicki, in his new TV Segment Eyes on Israel featured on The Real American Voice, brilliantly referred to it as "The Two-State Delusion". Speaking of which, if you haven’t caught up on his latest episodes, I highly suggest you take a look.

But here's the kicker: the roots of Israel's statehood and its territorial integrity are woven into the Hebrew Bible itself.
Ready to dive deeper into why history and scripture align against the Two-State narrative? Let's unravel the story.

Why Jerusalem's Purim Celebration Has Its Own Calendar Day
By Shira Schechter
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." This famous quote, often attributed to Edmund Burke, encapsulates a profound truth that resonates deeply within the Jewish soul. It is especially relevant on the holiday of Purim, when Mordecai challenged Esther with a pivotal message:

"On the contrary, if you keep silent in this crisis, relief and deliverance will come to the Jews from another quarter, while you and your father's house will perish. And who knows, perhaps you have attained to royal position for just such a crisis."

This idea is also relevant to Purim in the unique way in which the holiday is celebrated. Unlike other Jewish holidays, Purim's observance is divided: it's celebrated on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar in most places, but cities that were walled from the days of Joshua, like Jerusalem, celebrate on the 15th of Adar, known as Shushan Purim.

This variation in observance is rooted in the events of Mordecai and Esther's time, when the Jews in Shushan fought against their enemies for an additional day, resting only on the 15th while their counterparts rested on the 14th.

What is the significance of this second day of Purim?

CBS “Documentary” lied about the Red Heifer… and about the Jews in Israel

Home » CBS “Documentary” lied about the Red Heifer… and about the Jews in Israel

On March 5, CBS News posted an article and video by Chris Livesay. The video was full of blatant inaccuracies, which all had one thing in common: portraying Bible-Observant Jews as religious fanatics intent on murdering Palestinians and cleansing Israel of any Islamic presence.

The article opened by citing Hamas spokesman Abu Ubaida who claimed that the reason for the massacre on October 7 by Hamas “militants” was because “the Jews” had brought five red heifers to Israel. In a disgusting case of blaming the victim, that absurd statement shifted the blame from Hamas to the Jews and entirely ignored the Hamas charter written in 1988 in which the terrorist organization announced its intent to murder every Jew on the planet. Countless thousands of rockets and terrorist attacks can attest to their sincerity in carrying out that genocide. October 7 was just another attack, albeit their most successful to date.

Yet CBS and Livesay seem to believe that the cause of the attack on October 7 was motivated by the arrival of five cows one and a half years ago.

He also claimed that “some Jews and Christians believe they’re key to rebuilding the Jewish temple that once stood in Jerusalem, and to beckoning the Messiah”. That is a misrepresentation and twisting of Jewish theology. Jews believe that we can hasten the inevitable arrival of the Messiah by serving God and performing Biblical commandments, such as praying and keeping the Shabbat. The red heifer is simply one of those commandments.

Livesay wrote an article about the Red Heifer but did not speak to the Temple Institute, which is in charge of the Red Heifer project, or Rabbi Azariah Ariel, who is tasked with overseeing the project. This writer did interview Rabbi Ariel and this is his response:

“The main reason to recreate the red heifer is that it’s one of the 613 mitzvot in the Torah. One of them happens to be the red heifer ceremony,” Rabbi Ariel explained. “We do not do the ritual of the red heifer so that the Messiah will come so that God will do something like this or like that. He doesn’t work for us. God commanded us to prepare the red heifer, and that is what we do.”

“The messiah is something separate. It is written in the Torah so we know it will come.”

Livesay went on to write:

“To understand, you have to look back almost 2,000 years in the tumultuous history of the Middle East, when the ancient Romans destroyed the last temple in Jerusalem.”

“To rebuild it, fervent believers point to the Bible’s Book of Numbers, which commands the Israelites to offer a red heifer without defect or blemish and that has never been under a yoke.”

“Only with that offering, they insist, can the temple rise again.”

No, Mr. Livesay, the Book of Numbers was NOT written in response to the Romans destroying the Second Temple in 70 CE. The Book of Numbers (Bamidbar, in the original Hebrew) is one of the five books of the Torah that Jews believe was given to Moses by God at Mount Sinai. And, Mr. Livesay, if you find it difficult to believe the Jews, every Biblical scholar who has ever expressed an opinion would agree that the Book of Numbers predates the destruction of the Second Temple by at least several hundred years.

This makes me wonder which sources you chose to believe.

And there is no source that claims that the purpose of performing the mitzvah of the red heifer is to reinstate the temple in Jerusalem.

Mr. Livesay, you also wrote: “What stands in the temple’s place now: The Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque, which are among the holiest sites in Islam.”

It would have been more accurate to say that the Dome of the Rock was built on top of Judaism’s holiest site, using materials stolen from the ruins of our Temple. The Dome of the Rock was actually built as a shrine commemorating the Jewish Temple and not for any reason connected to Islam.

Al Aqsa Mosque (the further mosque) was so named based on a myth created during the Umayyad Dynasty, 50 years after Mohammad died, claiming the founder of Islam (who, the Koran claims never left Saudi Arabia) had made a miraculous overnight journey on a winged donkey in order to pray at the mosque that had not yet been built. Most Sunnis, especially those in Saudi Arabia, would be deeply insulted by the claim that Al Aqsa Mosque is in Jerusalem. They believe that the Al Aqsa Mosque is in Al Juraana, Saudi Arabia.

You also wrote: “Today, heavily armed guards ensure that only Muslims are allowed inside the complex. But that hasn’t stopped Jewish activists, like Melissa Jane Kronfeld, from leading groups up the Temple Mount five days every week.”

Yes, you saw that a state of anti-Jewish religious inequality is being enforced on the Temple Mount in contravention of Israeli and international law. And, as your statement indicates, this is entirely due to Palestinian violence.

While you cite Dr. Kronfeld’s belief that the Temple will be rebuilt and this could necessarily mean the destruction or moving of the Dome of the Rock, this prospect seems more horrifying to you than the destruction of the Jewish temples which Jews commemorate on a regular basis until this day.

You wrote: “It’s a suggestion that many fear, if acted upon, could make the current war even bloodier, and see it spread rapidly beyond the Gaza Strip.”

I would like to remind you that Israel already fought and won a war for Jerusalem in 1967. Or did your researchers miss that as well? If we want to pray, or even build a Temple, we have every right to do so.

But we don’t. For Jews, Jerusalem is the city of peace, a place to worship God, and the focus of our prayers since King David purchased it. For the Palestinians, Al Aqsa was neglected until the Jews conquered it in 1967 and they resurrected a story that not even they believed. For the Palestinians, the Temple Mount is the current excuse to murder Jews.

And, by the way, your cameraman should be fired. While you were narrating about the Aqsa Mosque, the dark gray dome on the southern end of the Temple Mount Complex, he was filming the gold-plated Dome of the Rock located at the center of the complex.

The video also featured a large white structure. The voiceover stated, “A massive altar already awaits, where the heifers are to be burned.”

That was a lie. The structure in the video is a model of the altar as it stood in the Temple. The real altar must be made of stone. The model, located in Mitzpe Yericho, is used for Temple service reenactments and educational purposes. It is not made of stone and cannot be used for the Temple service.

The model altar in Mitzpe Yericho (screenshot from CBS News)

The red heifer is not burned on an altar; it is burned on a pyre of wood, and it may only be burned on the Mount of Olives. Nothing you said is accurate.

You claim that most Jews do not share Kronfeld’s dream. What is your source for that? Every religious Jew has been praying three times a day for 2,000 years for the reconstruction of Jerusalem. Perhaps you don’t think that the opinion of religious Jews for 2,000 years counts for much.

And you worry about inciting Islamist groups. Do you want to know what really incites them? The fact that Jews are alive. Just ask them. It is written in the Hamas charter and they scream it in the streets of Iran, the US, and Europe. They don’t conceal their motives.

You note that the Hamas emblem features the Dome of the Rock behind two crossed swords and the Oct. 7 attack was called the Al Aqsa wave. If the site was truly significant to Hamas, they would either have had an image of Al Aqsa Mosque or they would have called the attack the Qubbat aṣ-Ṣakhra (shrine of the rock) wave. And I find it more than a bit disgusting that nowhere in your article do you condemn or even decry the Oct. 7 attack or the murder of Israelis carried out by Hamas “militants.

You wrote, “Most Muslims do not support Hamas’ violence”. Again, what is your source? Indeed, a recent survey indicates that half of US Muslims support Hamas and 21% judged the Oct 7 to be acceptable.

Every survey has shown that the vast majority of Palestinians support what Hamas did on Oct. 7. And many Muslims and even non-Muslims supported the Oct. 7 attack. The United Nations has failed to condemn it and there are even several US politicians who are so busy condemning Israel that they cannot find the time to condemn Hamas.

You failed to do basic research about the red heifer. The ritual burning of the red heifer must be carried out on the Mount of Olives on a plot of land that Rabbi Yitzchak Mamo legally purchased many years ago. Jewish law requires bringing public time-bound sacrifices even if we are ritually impure. According to Jewish law, we are deficient in our ritual obligations if we do not bring these sacrifices. This does not require a temple structure. It requires a stone altar, essentially a pile of rocks that can be constructed in ten minutes and removed in even less time.

But the Jewish nation has not done so, even though we captured the Temple Mount in 1967 and have the military strength to do so today. Israel has a law requiring the freedom of all religions. By preventing Jews from expressing religious equality on the Temple Mount, the Israeli police are breaking the law. We have to do so because the Palestinians oppose religious equality. They want all of the holy sites, even those that are only relevant to Judaism, to be exclusively Muslim. And they actually believe it is praiseworthy to achieve this at the edge of a sword (as the Hamas emblem graphically illustrates).

Yet, among all of the inaccuracies you wrote, you did not mention any of this in your article.

Indeed, the articles you have written in the past condemn Israel but not Hamas. You portray Netanyahu as an enemy of the US. Netanyahu grew up in the same town I did in Pennsylvania. While Netanyahu formed a coalition with right-wing parties, he is a centrist. And Israel is currently being governed by a unity coalition which includes the left-wing.

Mr. Livesay, I hope that at one point in your career, you aspired to be a journalist to inform the public. In this article, you failed in that aspiration. It was propaganda that portrayed the Jewish religion and our connection to Jerusalem as the source of violence in the Middle East. Gaza exists because in 2005, Israel was willing to remove all the Jews from the area. It was a painful move but we have always hoped to live in peace. In Israel, we live alongside two million Arabs who are full Israeli citizens. The Arab countries expelled 800,000 Jews. A Jew who sets foot in Gaza or the Palestinian Authority can expect to be murdered. The two-state solution will only make that worse, bringing Hamas into the very heart of Israel.

I write this with great reluctance. I would much rather discuss this with you over a cup of coffee in Jerusalem. You are clearly ignorant when it comes to Jews and Israel.

Islamic State claims credit for Moscow terror attack that killed more than 130JNSTERROR WATCH

Home » Islamic State claims credit for Moscow terror attack that killed more than 130
Terrorists attacked a concert hall in the outskirts of Moscow on Friday.

Russian state media reported that men armed with automatic weapons and incendiary explosives entered the hall. Unconfirmed videos on social media appeared to depict the men shooting into groups of civilians at close range.

At least 133 people were killed and more than 140 wounded in the attack. More than 50 ambulance crews were dispatched to the scene.

Authorities have detained 11 attackers.

Islamic State claimed credit for the attack, posting on Telegram that its “fighters attacked a large gathering of Christians in the city of Krasnogorsk on the outskirts of the Russian capital, Moscow, killing and wounding hundreds and causing great destruction to the place before they withdrew to their bases safely.”

The U.S. embassy issued a warning earlier in March that it was monitoring reports that “extremists have imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow,” including concerts.

Russia has frequently been the target of Islamist terrorism, including the 2002 Moscow theater siege in which 40 Chechen terrorists took 850 hostages. Ultimately, 132 of the hostages were killed and hundreds injured.

John Kirby, White House national security communications advisor, said at a press briefing Friday that the U.S. condemned the attack.

“The images are just horrible and hard to watch,” Kirby said. “Our thoughts obviously are going to be with the victims of this terrible shooting attack.”

A Recipe for Successful Worship of God
By Rabbi Pesach Wolicki
The early chapters of the book of Leviticus deal with the details of the various sacrifices and offerings that are to be brought in the Tabernacle and, after entering Israel, the Temple in Jerusalem. At the end of the discussion of the meal offering, the following rules are stated.

"All meal-offerings that you bring to God are not to me made leavened, for all yeast [heb. se’or – alt. trans. ‘sourdough’ or ‘leaven’] and all honey you shall not burn from them a fire-offering to God. You shall bring them as a first [fruit-] offering to God but they shall not be placed upon the altar as a pleasing fragrance.

You shall salt all your meal-offerings with salt and you shall not omit salt from [being placed] upon your meal-offerings. On all your offerings you shall bring salt." - Leviticus. 2:11-13

The above passage relates three laws. No leavened offerings are to be brought. No honey is to be included in any offering. All offerings must include salt.

Why are we forbidden to use honey in the offerings, and why must they include salt?
