Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz signed a letter that calls Israel’s actions to remove the Hamas threat emanating from Gaza “genocide.” Their anti-Semitism drives them to corrupt the true meaning of the word. They – along with the rest of the hypocritical Western world – ignore the staggering tragedy that is happening right now in Nigeria, Syria, Darfur, the Congo and Iraq. They should watch this video below of an Iraqi member of parliament who is Yazidi breaking down, trying to galvanize her government to confront the very real genocide that is happening to her people. 30,000 Iraqis who are members of a persecuted religious minority known as Yazidi are trapped on a mountain, besieged by Islamic State (ISIS) fighters. And they are dying.
