Focus on Childminders

I once knew a christian lady, church goer, held prayer meetings etc in her house, got involved in church activities etc. She was a childminder and I would not have left my kids with her. IMHO, she didnt feed right and better off kids were more important than others. And if she could do that then what could non-christians do? I hope Im never in a position where I would have to leave my kids with strangers (schools bad enough). I have a good friend with clean house who has my daughter in emergency. Or my hubbys sister at other times, I think better to keep in family if you can. I also believe a lot of childrens learning can suffer too because by time parents finish evening jobs they too tired to sit down for 30 mins and do reading, spellings etc.

May families need to go out to work due to enrising cost of living and mortagages rising for example, although some receive helps from the government is there a watchdog that ensure our kids who we entrust to them..
We all are encouraged to lead a healthy life stye.
I am well aware that many schools pursue this policy.
Are we protected to leave our kids in the hands of these minders in pre school nurseries......
in health and safety.
In the interest of what we learn about too much salt and sugar in what they are given in their diet and the type of menu what we see our children are receiving..
