16-states banning shariah
Here Are 16 States Who Have All Launched Legislation to BAN Shariah Law
When state legislators begin talking about banning Shariah law, Islamic groups come out of the woodwork in an effort to dampen or completely stop it from happening — especially groups like the Council on Islamic-American Relations.
Their primary argument is always the same — “Islamophobia.” That’s the same argument used when conservative media reports terrorist attacks from the Islamic State group and when parents get upset when their child brings home Islamic propaganda for homework assignments. Sometimes it even scares courts into favoring Islamic law over American law and that’s a serious problem.
But the good news is that CAIR identified a growing list of states who’re simply not worried what groups like CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood have to say. All they’re interested in is the outright ban of Shariah law and are attempting to pass laws to do so.
The current list of states on a mission to ban Shariah law include:
Alabama (two bills)
Arkansas
Florida (two bills)
Indiana (two bills)
Iowa
Kentucky
Mississippi (four bills)
Missouri (two bills)
North Carolina
Oklahoma (seven bills)
South Carolina (two bills)
Texas (six bills)
Virginia
Washington
West Virginia
Wyoming (two bills)
These states obviously have the foresight to realize they’re not interested in becoming like parts of Europe where Muslims live in “no-go zones” and roving Shariah patrols harass and even attack Christians and Jews at night for something as petty as having an alcoholic drink in their hand.
Not to mention that fact that Americans, in general, aren’t exactly supporters of stoning women and cutting off people’s hands. That’s so pre-16th century.
CAIR and other Islamic groups will label the attempts by states to ban Shariah “racist” and “hostile toward Muslims.”
But go ahead and ask the legislators of the states in the list above how much they care.
Hopefully, the list will continue to grow as Americans are witness to a growing number of violent, radical Islamist attacks on Christians and Westerners around the world.
