STOP PLAYING CHURCH: Be the Church

Smith Wigglesworth was a man of God who truly believed what he
preached. He was a Spirit-Filled believer. He once said: "The people
in whom God delights are the ones who rest upon His Word without
doubting." We must come to the place of realization that without
Christ, we are nothing, can do nothing, and will amount to
nothing. God has a plan beyond anything that we have ever known. He
has a plan for every individual life, and if we have any other plan
in view, we miss the grandest plan of all. God never intended His
people to be ordinary. His intentions were that they should be
on fire for Him, and with Christ at the very center of our lives.

People of God, we need to stop playing church and BE THE CHURCH.
That's right. WE ARE THE CHURCH. So many today, put on their Sunday
best, go to Sunday morning meeting, but have nothing. They are void
inside of Christ. They are playing church, but aren't the church.
It's time people realize that this is not a game. People need to
stop playing church. They have to take Christ seriously.

As a minister and pastor's wife, I can truthfully say, that with
Christ at the very center of your life, life is much for happier and
fulfilling. I have counseled many whose lives were not centered on
Him and they were not happy. We have to live a Christ-cenetered
life.

The heritage of the church is to be so equipped with power that God
can lay His Hand upon any member at any time to do His perfect will.
There is no stopping point in the Spirit-filled life. WE have to
come to the place of total dependance on God, and stop playing
church and BE THE CHURCH.
