The Israeli president has sent the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a unique outfit to welcome the birth of the royal baby boy.
President Shimon Peres sent a hat, socks, white shirt, blue tie and trousers set with the message “From Israel with love” printed on the shirt.
The baby, who has yet to be named, was born on Monday afternoon and weighed 8lb 7oz.
Speculation continues as to whether the baby boy will be circumcised like his grandfather Prince Charles.
Jewish communal leaders congratulated the future king and queen on their new birth.
Chief Rabbi Lord Sacks said: “Mazal Tov to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the birth of their son. We wish them blessings, good health, and joy in becoming parents.”

Reform Movement Rabbi Laura Janner- Klausner said: “The Royal family is held in great affection by the Jewish community in this country and the birth of a new prince gives us hope and optimism for the future. We wish the Royal Family ‘Mazel Tov’ on their new arrival.
"May he inherit the Queen's qualities of dignity, decency and hard work.”
Board of Deputies President Vivian Wineman wished "a hearty Mazel Tov to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on having a baby boy.
"We are delighted for them, and indeed the whole Royal Family, and wish that he goes from strength to strength."
Israeli Ambassador Taub added: “Wishing a huge mazeltov to HRH Prince William and Princess Kate on the birth of their baby boy. May he bring much light, love and happiness to all the Royal Family."
Last month, members of the community were disappointed to discover that the Duchess of Cambridge was not Jewish – despite mass speculation sparked by news that her ancestors were called Myers and Goldsmiths.
Doreen Berger, the chairman of the Jewish Genealogy Society (JGS), said: “I have been researching Kate Middleton’s ancestry since it looked like she was getting engaged to Prince William.
“I’ve looked back as far as it’s possible to look back and she doesn’t have a Jewish link at all — it’s just not true. I’m 100 per cent sure.”

Changing the Guard or Guard Mounting is the process involving a new guard exchanging duty with the old guard.
The Guard which mounts at Buckingham Palace is called The Queen’s Guard and is divided into two Detachments: the Buckingham Palace Detachment (which is responsible for guarding Buckingham Palace), and the St. James’s Palace Detachment, (which guards St. James’s Palace). These guard duties are normally provided by a battalion of the Household Division and occasionally by other infantry battalions or other units.
Royal Birth To Be Marked By Gun Salutes
2pm GMT
Gun salutes will sound across London to mark the birth of the royal baby.
The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and the Honourable Artillery Company will both carry out the ceremonial salutes on Tuesday in honour of the new addition to the Royal Family.
The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery will stage the gun salute in Green Park
Gun salutes are fired for the birth of every prince or princess, no matter where their place is within the line of succession, the Ministry of Defence said. The last royal salute for a birth was for Princess Eugenie in 1990.
The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, wearing full dress uniform, will ride past Buckingham Palace to Green Park where they will stage a 41 royal gun salute.
They will ride from their forward mounting base in Wellington Barracks into Green Park, where 71 horses pulling six First World War-era 13-pounder field guns will place them to position for the royal salute at 2pm.
Each of the six guns will fire blank artillery rounds at 10-second intervals until 41 shots have been fired. The horses and riders will then collect the guns and escort them back to Wellington Barracks.
The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC), the City of London's Army Reserve Regiment, will fire a 62 royal gun salute from Gun Wharf at the Tower of London at 2pm tomorrow.
Whilst a royal gun salute normally comprises 21 guns, this is increased to 41 if fired from a Royal Park or residence.
When Guardsmen are on duty, the soldiers are drawn from one of the five regiments of Foot Guards in the British Army: the Scots Guards, the Irish Guards, the Welsh Guards, the Grenadier Guards and the Coldstream Guards.
