Every day, all over the world, people commit atrocities in the name of Islam. Yet the victims suffer twice. First they are oppressed and then they are silenced. Yet the Western world, the “progressives,” are ignoring their pleas for help. We must be a voice for them.

Not every Muslim believes in Sharia law.  Many Muslims do not support committing violence in the name of Islam. But there are millions of Muslims who do. That is a real problem. Islamaphobia is a misnomer. People have every right to be afraid of Islam. The video above, with the different stories, is a testament to the real fear everyone SHOULD have of Islam.

Muslims shame and punish a girl putting on lipstick and throw acid on her body. They throw gays off of buildings. Christians and other non-Muslims are killed and beheaded. These are only a few of the atrocities that Muslims commit in the name of Islam.  Yet the world is silent.

Islamophobia is NOT a phobia
Yes, we have much to be afraid of Islam. Not afraid of all Muslims, but of Islam.

We cannot be silent. We must be a voice for the victims. And we must be a voice for ourselves and our own communities. If the existing silence about the atrocities in the name of Islam continues, we might end up experiencing them in our own families and communities. Just look at what has become of Western Europe.

In 1981, Israel saved the world from Iraq obtaining nuclear weapons. Now, for the first time, Israel has acknowledged that in 2007, they saved the world from Syria having a nuclear weapon. Can you imagine the alternative?

Around midnight on September 5th, 2007, four Israeli Air Force jets bombed a nuclear reactor near Damascus, Syria. They completely destroyed it. Assad and the North Koreans had been building a plutogenic reactor for years already. The site contained a gas-cooled, graphite-moderated reactor that was capable of producing weapons grade plutonium.
Israeli intelligence had been gathering information for two years on how to destroy it and who was behind it. The mission was one of the most successful operations the IDF has ever carried out in 70 years.

Lt.-Col. Dror, one of the Israeli pilots who bombed the nuclear reactor in Syria stated: “We understood the significance of what we were doing.” In 2008, Israel’s actions were vindicated when the IAEA confirmed the site had abnormally high levels of uranium. Now, with Assad’s horrific campaign of death and destruction, the whole world thanks Israel for taking action.

Not all heroes wear capes. Sometimes they were a Star of David.

Muslim Extremist and weapons
People can use nuclear power to produce energy for peaceful purposes. For example, they can use it for medical purposes. However, it can also be used to produce devastating weapons. Consequently, when Muslim extremist weapons get these, the potential for mass murder is horrific. We have seen in recent times how Assad used chemical weapons against the Syrian people. If he had the potential to commit more mass murder with nuclear weapons, he would most likely do so. The IDF saved countless Israelis, Syrians, and other people as it seeks to stop mass murderers bent on Israel’s destruction from acquiring nuclear weapons. Therefore, Israel’s actions deserve much praise.

The title comes from an ancient Jewish writing the author heard quoted by Israel’s intelligence services. It is a phrase from the Babylonian Talmud which says that if someone comes to kill you, rise up and kill him first.  In every generation, the Jewish people have a chief enemy that declares publicly that its main goal is to destroy us. We therefore have no other choice than to rise up and kill them first.

Israel’s Neighbors
Since Israel’s founding that has been the public goal of all its enemies. From Saddam Hussein to Yasser Arafat to Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. When these are your enemies you will do whatever you can to defend your country and your people. Bergman says that after the Holocaust Jews followed three lessons that permeate Israel’s intelligence services.

1. There will always be a nation that wants to kill us
2. Most or all of the other nations will not help so we can only rely on ourselves
3. We must have a safe haven, a refuge, a country of our own to defend with all means possible

In his book, Bergman explains the secret that makes Israel’s intelligence the best in the world.

There is one extra point. Israel’s intelligence knows that they are the guards on the wall. They are the ‘final frontier’ guarding the safety of the citizens of Israel, and Jews worldwide. They believe that if they don’t succeed, using everything they have, then tomorrow Jews will be killed.

Bergman’s book details how Mossad chief Meir Dagan convinced successive Israeli Prime Ministers to use assassinations and cyber warfare against Iran, instead of bombing its nuclear facilities. He also describes the elimination of the Hizbullah commander, who was the most wanted terrorist in the world. And how Yassar Arafat escaped dozens of assassination attempts.

Hamas incites riots at border to attack Israel. Hamas burned 10,000 tires to create a cover of smoke. And used mirrors to blind Israeli troops.  Under cover, Hamas terrorists:
* Tried to breach Israel’s border.
* Placed bombs on the fence.

Hamas used rioters as human shields in a battle with Israel. In the confusion, a Palestinian journalist was killed.  Here are the facts:
* The journalist had flown a drone over the battlefield.
* Hamas intentionally put Palestinians in harm’s way, embedding terrorists with civilians, and covering the battlefield with smoke.

Hamas’ plan is simple:
1. Incite a violent riot.
2. Make it hard for Israeli forces to see.
3. Attack Israel’s border.
4. Get human shields killed in the crossfire.
5. The media demonizes Israel.

The media is lying. This is not a peaceful protest. This is a terrorist-led riot to attack Israel.

This is not a peaceful protest. This is a terrorist attempt to break into Israel with the purpose of killing Jews. Israel, like any other nation, has the right and duty to protect its borders and keep its citizens safe. Background information about George Washington
George Washington was born to Augustine and Mary on February 22, 1732 in in Westmoreland County, Virginia. The Washington family were moderately prosperous members of the Virginia gentry, of “middling rank.”  When George was about 11 years old, his father died of a sudden illness. As a result, George’s half-brother Lawrence became a surrogate father to him.

George didn’t get the same education as his siblings, due to his father’s early death. His half-brother Lawrence was Adjutant General of Virginia. When Lawrence died in 1752, the district was divided into four regions. The governor appointed George as a district adjutant of one of the four areas.

George Washington and Presidency
After a long military and political career, George Washington was elected President. He served as president from 1789 – 1797. The first United States Congress voted to pay him a salary of $25,000 a year. Today, that would be about $300,000.

Washington retired in 1797 and returned to his plantation and personal business interests. However, his private lifestyle did not last long. By 1798, relations with France deteriorated and war was imminent. President Adams asked Washington to return and offered him the position of commander in chief of the armies for a potential war. Yet France did not invade. Washington did not have a field command.

On December 12, 1799, Washington spent considerable time outdoors in snow and freezing rain. He developed a sore throat. A few days later he awoke with severe breathing difficulties. He was barely able to speak or swallow. Doctors rushed over and performed “bloodletting,” a standard medical practice of the time. One of the doctors realized that the treatment wasn’t working. He suggested performing an emergency tracheotomy, however many doctors were unfamiliar with the procedure and the other doctors present advised against it. Washington did not recover and died on December 14, 1799 at 67 years old.

Cats and Genetics
Scientists have looked at the common domesticated cat and discovered something interesting. What they found was that the cats are genetically different from cats in the wild, such as tigers. The video explains that, “the nervous system of domestic cats are richer in neural crest-related genes associated with pathways related to synaptic circuitry and contextual clues related to rewards.” In many ways, these domesticated animals are hard-wired to be dependent on humans. At least much more so than their wild tiger cousins.

Lessons for us
What can we learn from this interesting fact? Well, cats seems to have two parts to them. First, they are connected to the wild. However, they are also connected to people. So too, we have different aspects to us. We have a physical part of us. That part is connected to this world and wants physical goods. For example, to eat good food and enjoy wealth. In Hebrew, this called the “nefesh behamis”, or animal soul.

Spiritual part
But we also have another part to us. We have a spiritual side. This desires higher goods and to connect with God. The spiritual part knows that the physical world is only temporary. It also knows that there are much better spiritual goods than say, the pursuit of wealth. Our spiritual part strives to connect with God. In Hebrew, this part is known as the “nefesh elokis” or divine soul.

Of course, this creates a tension as we are physical people. We naturally want physical good. But our spiritual side knows that we really want to connect with the Divine.

The example of the cats teaches us a lot. So, do we give in and enjoy the physical world, or do we strive for spirituality and connection with God?

All Jews are Family
In the Talmud, there is a phrase “Kol Yisrael arevim zeh lazeh.” That means that all of Israel are responsible for one another. Yosef Leib Bornstein, a 42 year old man, does not take that lightly. When 68 year old father David Salomon needed a kidney, it seemed unlikely. His blood type is O+, which means he is a universal donor, but he can only receive from another O+ person. Salomon was hoping to go to his daughter’s wedding in good health.

And then God sent Yosef Leib Bornstein who felt it was “no big deal” to give his own kidney to a man he had never met.

Save One Life, Save a Whole World
Yosef Leib Bornstein grew up in London as part of a sect of Hassidim known as Ger. He mentioned an idea taught in the Talmud: “All our lives, we learned that if you save someone’s life, it’s like you saved the whole world.” Bornstein really felt that it was his duty to help, and he truly wanted to.

Unparalleled Act of Kindness
2 people who would have had no other connection were brought together by an unparalleled act of kindness. After Salomon thanked him profusely, Bornstein responded, “It was the right thing to do.” Emotions filled the room as they discussed this unbelievable deed. Bornstein said, “We need to help each other.” Salamon answered, “You’re part of my family now.”

David Salomon’s prayers were answered. God granted him the opportunity to dance with his daughter at her wedding in good health.

No matter what the context is, when Jews come together despite their differences, it’s beautiful.

Tracking down Nazis
It may seem odd today, but back in the 50’s and 60’s, there was a continuing battle going on between remnant Nazis and the State of Israel.
A Mossad Agent is an Israeli equivalent to the CIA in the US. However, Israeli operatives often perform jobs that could fill up any novel with harrowing details. One example of this is the search for Adolf Eichmann, one of the most senior Nazis directly involved in killing millions of Jews. He was found in Buenos Aires and basically kidnapped to Israel in 1960. The trial and hanging of Eichmann was perhaps the most captivating court case in Israeli history.
Revenge
The entire world watched in horror at the Munich Olympics massacre of 11 Israeli athletes. Israeli Prime Minister, Golda Meir ordered Operation “Wrath of God”- a Mossad counter-terrorism operation against anyone who was directly connected to the massacre. The Black September group was the target.
The idea of summary executions of murderers is very controversial. However, revenge against freed terrorists who perpetrated the massacre was a different story. Israel planned an attack against the terrorists – especially Ali Hassan Salameh.
By October 1972, Israel was ready to attack. It did not go smoothly. At first, the Mossad even killed the wrong person. However, ultimately the Mossad succeeded in killing nearly every member of the Munich massacre. In Lebanon, the Mossad murdered Salameh.

Anti-Semitism in France is not a new phenomenon. During the Holocaust, the French people did not help the Jews as much as they helped the Nazis kill Jews. But, killing an 85 year old Holocaust survivor is a new low for the troubled country.

Numbers of Jews in France
Generally speaking, Jews are known to live in Israel and the United States.  That is where the two largest population centers of the Jewish people are located.  However, France is #3.    In France, there are around half a million Jews.  Many live in the area of Paris.  The next largest Jewish center is Marseilles.

Holocaust in France
Although the Holocaust began in Poland in September 1939, the Nazis began persecuting French Jews in 1940.  They deported tens of thousands of Jews from France to concentration camps in Germany and Poland.  The Nazis killed almost all of the Jews they deported.   However, most of the Jews in France did survive the Nazi persecutions.  Almost 75% survived the Holocaust.

21st Century Anti-Semitism in France
During the 2nd intifada in Israel, which took place between the years 2000 – 2004, many second-generation immigrant Muslims  in France joined in massive demonstrations against Israel.  In addition to demonstrating against Israel, some more radical elements began to attack local Jews – verbally and physically .  

This led some French Jews to decide to move to Israel.  If they were already having trouble with an Arab population in France, many figured they may as well move to Israel already and live a complete Jewish life.   Some statistics show that over the last five years, more French Jews made aliyah (moved to Israel) than American Jews.  Almost all Jews in France occasionally experience insults or harassment.  This is all due to policies of unbridled immigration in France in recent decades coupled with massive anti-Israel sentiments among the worldwide Muslim  population.  This week’s killing of a Holocaust survivor is a new low in the history of Jews in France.

Most North American tourists remember driving or flying to go skiing in the winter.  If one was interested in warming up, they would fly to Florida or another warm climate.  When touring Israel, you can literally drive to the Hermon and ski in the morning and sunbathe 3 hours later in the Dead Sea.
This uniqueness is something that all good tour guides point out.  It allows tourists to feel a variety of senses in a short span of time.

The one exception is Eilat.  It takes 3.5-4 hours to travel to Eilat from Jerusalem.  But, it is so worthwhile.  In addition to snorkeling at the coral reef, the underwater observatory marine park is simply astounding.  It is the polar opposite to astronomy.
But, it accomplishes the same goal of opening up the mind to an entire world that one simply doesn’t know exists till seeing it.
Israel is simply a nature reserve filled country with almost limitless options for tourists.

Celebrating 70 years of the State of Israel is a true miracle that we are forever grateful for.
This May, Israel will celebrate her 70th birthday and it is now a time to refelect on what this means. It has not been an easy journey to get here, but the rewards have been incredible. The Jewish state is standing prouder and stronger than ever.
The Declaration of the State
The journey began at the end of the 19th century, when Theodor Herzl alongside many others began the fight to build a Jewish Homeland. Some say Israel was born as a result of the Holocaust. Others disagree and say that the Holocaust may have been a catalyst for the formation of the start but it would have been built one day even without it.
Either way, what counts was the declaration of the State of Israel, the Jewish Homeland. On May 14th, 1948 the world changed as David Ben-Gurion, the first Prime Minister of Israel, declared the State.
It has not been a smooth ride. In fact, the formation of the State was met with the immediate start of Israel’s first war, later known as the War of Independence. Coming out victorious, the pioneers had their work cut out. They worked the land of Israel transforming it into a “land flowing with milk and honey.”  They turned barren desert into land flourishing with agriculture.

IDF training
While it is very difficult, Israel always has to be prepared. The musical visit provided a glimpse, in a comedic fashion, of what the Israel Defense Forces soldiers go through. Since Muslim terrorists constantly threaten Israel, the soldiers always have to be prepared. That means guard duty. It also means a lot of work behind the scenes, such as kitchen duty and sleeping in the field.

Some soldiers are best suited to be combat soldiers, while others work in other roles. We may never see them, but their contribution is no less. That is because everyone together helps the IDF function. From the intelligence officer sitting behind a desk, to the cook in the kitchen, to the soldier standing guard on the front lines.

The IDF choir captures so much in this excellent performance.

Ben Shapiro, when asked this question, said it was due to literacy. As a result of literacy they excelled in academics and succeeded. Historically speaking, Jews have especially placed emphasis on reading, such as the Torah and Talmud. That value continued through to school and college, as Jews were highly motivated to value and excel in education. This has led to successful people.

Nobel Prize – proof of success
And the proof is in the pudding. An rather large amount of Nobel Prize laureates and winners have been Jewish. More than 10 prizes in Literature have been won by Jews. And more than 30 Chemistry prizes have been awarded to Jews. For the field of medicine, more that 50 Jews have been awarded the Nobel prize.

Yet it’s not just Jews
Individuals or cultures that focus on academics attain success. It starts with a focus on academics. The students enjoy their studies. And want to succeed. They want to learn about many topics, and research concepts. The students also make projects in school. The excel, therefore their grades reflect it. When they enter the real world, they succeed. In opposite to this, there are people who have no college education, but succeeded nonetheless. Yet they did have motivation were driven to succeed. So perhaps another factor is motivation and creativity. A person can always be aware of his potential while reaching for the sky. Because it’s important to know who we are, but don’t let that limit us. When we reach for the sky, we can land on the moon. Who knows the precise secret for success, but Ben defiantly has a good point that many people will agree with.

Concise History of the IDF
Throughout Israel’s first 70 years, the Israeli Military has become well known for many reasons.
In the War of Independence, in 1948, the ingenuity of the small rather disorganized Jewish army somehow won the war. Despite a clear lack of sufficient weapons, the fledgling army won most of the battles and emerged victorious.
Consider this example from the 1948 war. There were soldiers who’s main job was to drive a motorcycle from one unit to the other. Why? Both units had to share the sole machine gun that was available for both units.
In the Sinai Campaign of 1956, Israel’s paratroopers became famous. Israel dropped them way behind enemy lines near the few “passes” that existed in the mountainous desert of the Sinai. They played a critical role in surprising and ultimately defeating Egyptian forces.
In 1967, Israel won the famed Six Day War. The Israeli Air Force was the clear start of that war. However, tank battalions fought vicious campaigns. Infantry units displayed enormous bravery, and even the Navy got involved a bit. The intelligence units took alot of credit too, but most of their exploits would only come to light after a few years.
In 1973, Israel was caught unprepared with the Yom Kippur War. Israel fought back valiantly – especially with the tank battalions and emerged victorious. But the toll was horrible – more than 2,300 killed and thousands more wounded.
In the First Lebanon War, Israel’s Air Force dominated once again. Israeli forces drove back PLO forces far away from Israel’s borders towards Beirut in Lebanon.

Here are six things you need to know. First, Israel and India established a $40 million innovation fund to encourage partnerships between Indian and Israeli entrepreneurs. Also, the Israel-India Innovation Bridge brings together Israeli and Indian innovators to solve global challenges.

The Indian group Reliance Industries invested $25 million in a Jerusalem Incubator. This will support the growth of Jerusalem startups. It will also increase cooperation between the two countries’ tech companies. India’s Institute of Management opened an Israel Center. It will serve as a center for tech cooperation between Israel and India.

Surviving the Holocaust
Beside slaughtering the Jewish people, the Nazis also tried to break the Jewish spirit. We have heard many times how the Jewish soul survives even in the darkest of times. This video presents one account that needs to be told.

The story is told of two German SS soldiers who approached a group of Jewish workers in one of the concentration
camps. They said to the Jews, “We want you to sing a song for us, and dance to it as well.”
While the Nazis wanted to annihilate the Jewish people, they also wanted to dehumanize them along the way, to torture them both physically and mentally.

Now these Jews were scared, they were malnourished and their spirits were rock bottom. The last impulse they had
was to want to dance. But they had no choice. So they chose one of the songs that they used to sing in their Jewish
communities when they were younger – “ashreinu mah tov chelkeinu umanaim goralanu“. Which meant, happy are
we, how goodly is our portion, how pleasant is our lot, and how beautiful our heritage.” Now it might have been
somewhat ironic to be saying these words – how good is our portion, how goodly our lot – when they were trapped in a living hell. But they had to keep going.

Then the Nazis started screaming at them, ‘louder, faster, come on, louder, faster, let’s go.’ So they had to keep
going. ‘Louder, faster, louder, faster’. And so these Jews kept singing it, and they started dancing harder and
faster, louder and faster, until they started to really get into it. And they really started singing and dancing
with an energy that they never knew was actually inside of them.

Then these Nazi soldiers got slightly aggravated. “Something isn’t quite right here”, they said to one another.  They wanted to see the Jews being distressed, downtrodden, dehumanized.  Instead, the Jews were happy, uplifted, with almost metaphysical energy. This is a rebellion, they thought, and they couldn’t bear it, so they screamed at them, ‘Stop, Stop.’ But the Jews just wouldn’t stop, they just kept going, they sang louder and faster. ‘Stop’ they yelled. But the Jews didn’t stop. In the end, they had to shoot at them until the Jews dispersed.

region, where there is more vegetation among the mountainous terrain.

Afterwords, let’s take a look at urban life, from the marketplace to a crowded

bus ride. Everyone is going about their day, yet their is a sense of tranquility

as we see children blowing bubbles. It may a be a busy city, but even the kids

know that it is important to have fun.

The Western Wall
Perhaps one of the most inspiring and holy images is that of the Western Wall in Jerusalem.

Decades after the First Temple was destroyed, plans were made for the Second Temple. It was to be larger, and as

such required a support base. Sand and dirt were brought in to expand the base, and large retaining walls were built

to support the base. The Second Temple was built on top of that. When it was destroyed, the supporting walls

remained. The Western Wall is one of the walls of the supporting base. Thankfully, it has survived and Jews have

prayed here for millennia, shed tears hear, and placed hopes here. And we know that one day the Third Temple will

be built here, and it will not be destroyed.

I just love how it shows the starry sky over the desert. The view is crystal clear.

There aren’t any buildings that ruin the view of the stars. Perhaps that is why this video has an atmosphere of

hopes and dreams – we can dream for the stars, and it is attainable.

As the old saying goes, “If you will it, it is no dream”.

If you don’t believe Jewish history proves God’s existence, watch this and think again

Can one truly argue that there exists compelling evidence of God’s existence in this world?

Ollie Anisfeld from J-TV argues – yes.

The first argument in this video is that it is due to the fact that the Jewish people still exist after thousands of years of dispersion into exiles into Africa, Europe, Asia, North America, South America, and Australia.

The real truth is that there is no logical reason that the Jewish people would continue on and on for generations without being geographically located in the Land of Israel or one common area.

However, what has truly kept the Jewish people connected is the eternal longing to return to the State of Israel and adherence to the Bible’s commandments coupled with the longing to live an idyllic life in God’s Chosen Land.

So, global exile – which usually would dictate the disappearance of a people, actually has led to the eternity of the Jewish people – due to common values and longings to return to our land.

Ollie interestingly ascribes anti-semitism as being one of the main causes that has kept the Jewish people somewhat unified.
This is a fascinating idea.
One would assume that this would usually convince more and more Jews to disassociate themselves from the Jewish people, but the reverse has actually happened.
Anti-Semites have actually made it harder to assimilate.
So, instead of Jews feeling comfortable anywhere in exile, within a generation or two or three, they will usually be kicked out or killed or something else horrible from their host country – all of which make sure that the Jewish people don’t lose their connection with their homeland.
I would argue that the most powerful of all proofs is alluded to but not clearly stated in this video – that is – the fulfillment of the prophecies of the ingathering of the exiles that has clearly been occurring over the last 2-3 generations.
There is simply no other historical phenomenon that matches this unbelievable story.
2-3 million Jews have been gathered from all of the ends of the Earth – into the Land of Israel – surrounded by hostile enemies – exactly as it has been stated in the books of the Prophets – following thousands of years of exile from their Land.
There is simply no other story that comes close to it. No mortal being could accomplish this feat.

Watching what is taking place on college campuses today, and through that prism, witnessing the progress of American society, is very, very scary. I believe Professor Bret Weinstein nails it in this interview by Jason Bellini, video reporter of the Wall Street Journal, at around the seven minute mark.
Professor Weinstein says straight out
“Liberty is not a high value amongst those who are driving the quest for social justice”
This is a truly scary thought.
As President Ronald Reagan once said so eloquently:
A large and growing percentage of the younger generation of American youth do not understand the importance of liberty and what impact that can have on the freedom of the society they are now enjoying as free men and women!

Professor Weinstein ended up resigning from the University because the students called for it, because he was against minorities holding a walkout day, where whites had to refrain from attending classes on campus for a day.

His resistance against this extremely racist concept was called racist!

Again, Professor Weinstein is a liberal himself! What we are witnessing is the phenomena of the chickens of “progressive thinking” coming home to roost and throwing out their liberal professors who are not liberal enough for them!

This Professor had to leave his job because of this absurdity. Yet, we can no longer look at this at just being absurd, because this progressive thinking is a spreading cancer in America, since this growing attitude against free speech, and of intolerance, is growing stronger and stronger in tomorrow’s leaders of America.
Bill Drummond, Professor of Journalism at UC Berkeley states the simple truth for all to hear:
“Students today are just not tolerant of opposing points of view”
He continues with something so ludicrous, yet so true “It’s hard to sell them on opposing points of view because it makes them feel angry and uncomfortable” says Drummond.
When Drummond was a student at Berkeley, he was at the forefront of the free speech movement on campus, pressuring the University to allow for political activities on campus, which paved the way for campus protests against the Vietnam war a few years later. Today Drummond is part of a small group of liberal Professors speaking out against students who are intolerant of opposing views. He expressed that students today are coming to Berkeley more polarized than any time since the late 60’s.
