Gawping crowds caught the bizarre event on camera, watching in awe as towering skyscrapers appeared in the sky.

The wacky phenomenon, which lasted only a few minutes before disappearing, dominated the skies above TWO cities hundreds of miles apart.

Conspiracy theorists think the otherworldly happening might have been part of a Blue Beam Project by NASA to dupe the world into following a new religion.

This would happen by fooling the world into thinking an alien invasion is underway, making people give up their gods and accept the new faith.

And they think THIS was a practice run.
