BREAKING: Russian Lawyer Breaks Her Silence, Reveals What She Told Don Jr.

It has been over six months since President Trump was elected. During that time, the Democrats have insisted that there is some hidden conspiracy between Trump and Russia, despite not having any evidence.

The most recent cause for the frenzy on the Left has to do with Trump Jr. meeting with a Russian lawyer named Natalia Veselnitskaya in June. Emails suggested that the purpose of that meeting was to reveal dirt on Trump’s then-opponent, Hillary Clinton. According to The Washington Times, Veselnitskaya revealed that “I asked for help — help to get out of a story I had come across in my professional capacity.” She said that it “had nothing to do with [then-candidate Donald Trump’s] rival or the presidential election.” 

The interview between Veselnitskaya took place on a Russian news program called “Vesti.” The lawyer explained that she wanted to have the meeting because she needed help with a Russian businessman named Denis Katsyv, who was accused of money laundering only after the U.S. put harsher sanctions on Moscow back in 2012.

Donald Trump Jr. went with Paul Manafort, who was Trump’s campaign manager, and Jared Kushner, to meet with the Russian Lawyer. Natalia’s story lines up with what all three men said after the meeting, which was that there was no incriminating information passed between them. All parties also confirmed that there was no follow-up meeting.

During Natalia’s interview, she stated that her whole purpose of setting up the meeting was to try and get more support in U.S. Congress for her client, Denis. In that context, it makes perfect sense.

Lawyers are supposed to go out of their way to make sure that they can clear their clients of any crimes. Natalia was simply doing what she felt needed to be done in order to free her client from the money laundering charges.

Natalia spoke strongly against William Browder, who is in charge of Hermitage Capital Management, a Moscow investment firm. Browder specifically lobbied in favor of U.S. sanctions after Sergei Magnitsky, a Hermitage lawyer, died in Moscow while awaiting results of charges pressed against him in 2009.

Browder is one of the people who is rallying for the Senate Judiciary Committee to try and look for signs of collusion between the Russians and the Trump campaign. The problem with people like Browder is they don’t have any evidence to support their claim.

The Democrats have made countless claims about Russia and Trump working together for the election as well as the campaign. Despite thousands of claims, there is not one single example that anyone can point to that makes their accusations plausible.

In all honesty, the closest thing they had was the meeting between Natalia and Donald Trump Jr., but even that story has been debunked through emails and testimony. Natalia confirmed on Russian TV that she had no political connection with the Trumps, nor were any additional meetings or emails uncovered per the investigation.

The Left is going to have to go back to the drawing board. It appears that they are looking more for a story to fill the hole, rather than examine their claim from an objective point of view.
