President Trump’s ex-wife Ivana, mother to Ivanka, Donald Jr., and Eric Trump, has been in and out of the news since her ex-husband won the White House. A famous personality in her own right, Ivana has made comments about being the real “first lady;” Melania called the remarks “attention-seeking and self-serving noise.”

The woman who was married to Trump from 1977 to 1992, however, came out in defense of her ex-husband this morning. In an appearance on the TV show “Good Morning Britain,” Ivana said the President is “definitely not racist,” and called him a “very stable genius.”

Ivana Defends Her Ex
The comments on Good Morning Britain weren’t limited to remarking on Trump’s intelligence or lack of racism, however. Ivana also took aim at the media, saying that they “change every word” to fit their own agenda. She explained:

I don’t think Donald is racist at all. Sometimes he says things which are silly or he doesn’t really mean them or something like that, but he’s definitely not racist. I’m sure of that.

Ivana told the British TV show that Trump is far from stupid or unstable. Not only is he quite stable, said his ex-wife, he’s also a genius.

“I don’t think Donald is going to do anything [irrational],” said Ms. Trump. “He’s a very stable genius, definitely.” Watch Ivana’s interview below:


Trump’s Comments Spark Media Firestorm
Nothing the President says goes without a meltdown from the media. This is so even when it’s not certain that the comments attributed to him are accurate.

The recent story alleging that Trump called third world countries “s***holes” is no exception.

Some liberal publications such as Slate are claiming that “Trump’s mental health issues can no longer be avoided.”

The phrase “detached from reality” has been used as a mantra for months, even by CNN reporter and Trump-hater Jim Acosta.

All of that is nonsense, says Ivana Trump. She and her ex-husband may have had a “nasty” divorce, but they are great friends now, speaking every other week by phone.

Ivana says she knows the president, and he’s not bereft of reason, stupid, or racist.

In fact, according to David Marcus, Trump is simply from Queens. In order to understand the President, “you must speak Outer Borough.” Actor Scott Baio agrees; Trump isn’t stupid or deranged, he’s just a New Yorker.
