A man has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences after several people were stabbed in Manchester’s Arndale shopping centre, sending bystanders running for their lives.

Three people were stabbed and taken to hospital after the attack on Friday morning, police said. Two other people were assessed, one was treated at the scene and the other later went to hospital with a superficial wound.

The suspect, 40, was seen shouting and behaving erratically, bystanders said. He was later arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences and was being investigated for the preparation and instigation of an act of terrorism.

Police said he had been assessed by specialist doctors and compulsorily detained under the Mental Health Act. They said they did not believe there was any wider threat to the community and it was thought he acted alone.

Police say the man is in a critical condition, while a baby was injured (Picture: @SnapperSK) A man and a two-year-old boy were rushed to hospital last night after a brutal stabbing outside a pub. Emergency services were called to reports of a fight by the Flower Pot, in West Bromwich, West Midlands, just before 6.40pm on October 6. They found the man, 24, suffering from multiple serious stab wounds and he was taken to hospital in a critical condition. The toddler suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital, police said. Officers believe the man was attacked by a gang outside the pub, on Spon Lane, close to the town centre. They are appealing to anyone with information about the incident to come forward and assist them in their inquiries.

Detective Sergeant Paul Cook, from West Midlands Police CID, said: ‘I understand the concerns of the community and would like to offer reassurance that we’re doing all we can to establish what happened yesterday and find those responsible. ‘If you saw what happened, or have any information about the incident please get in touch.’ A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson added: ‘We were called at 6.37pm to reports of a man who has been assaulted by a number of others; they had left scene.


‘We sent an ambulance, two paramedic officers and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car. ‘On arrival they found a man who had been badly hurt with a large crowd of onlookers at the scene. ‘A man in 20s was treated for serious injuries and taken on blue lights to hospital with the critical care paramedic travelling.’

Now, a city that has been run into the ground for decades by Democrats is actually blaming Republicans for the mess they created!

The man who has spent more than 50 years in prison for the assassination of former New York Sen. Robert F. Kennedy was hospitalized after being stabbed in prison by a fellow inmate. Sirhan Sirhan was attacked Friday and is now in stable condition, The Hill reported.

The stabbing happened in a prison yard at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility near San Diego, California, where Sirhan is incarcerated.

“Officers responded quickly, and found an inmate with stab wound injuries. He was transported to an outside hospital for medical care, and is currently in stable condition,” the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation said in a statement.

TMZ reported that a suspect in the stabbing was identified and has been placed in isolation. The incident is under investigation to see if charges should be filed.
Sirhan’s Prison Life
Kennedy had just won the California Democrat presidential primary when he was shot and killed by Sirhan at a campaign rally in 1968. Sirhan was convicted in 1969 and sentenced to death.

His sentence was commuted to life in prison in 1972, and he has been in prison ever since. Sirhan has said that he doesn’t remember shooting Kennedy or his initial confession to the crime, according to The New York Times.

Kennedy was a favorite for the Democrat presidential nomination and likely could have been president. He was the brother of President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in 1963 during his first term.

The two brothers are now buried side-by-side at Arlington National Cemetary in Virginia.
Anti-Israeli Sentiment
Sirhan was a Jordanian citizen who took issue with Kennedy’s support for Israel during his campaign for president. After he was subdued at the scene, Sirhan reportedly said, “I did it for my country.”

The assassination took place exactly one year after the start of the Six Days War, which involved Jordan and other countries in the Middle East.

Looking at history, it’s plain to see that Israel has long been a source of conflict for Americans. It isn’t just President Donald Trump who has been a target for standing by Israel’s side.

For his part, Sirhan has reportedly returned from the hospital to prison, where he will live out the rest of his days.

DEVELOPING: Multiple people shot and one death after shooting in Odessa and Midland, Texas
(CNN) – At least one person was killed and 10 wounded in an active shooting situation in West Texas, between the cities of Midland and Odessa, authorities said. Police in Midland said officers are looking for two shooters in two separate vehicles, a gold/white small Toyota truck and a US Postal Service van.
Devin Sanchez, a spokesman for the City of Odessa, said there are 10 confirmed injuries with possibly up to 20 injured.

Two children left dead after parolee steals, crashes police SUV: Report

There is nothing more heart-shattering for a parent than burying a child — but it’s even worse when the death comes from something as senseless as this.

After allegedly stabbing his father, Raymond Walters, Jr. stole the responding officer’s SUV and crashed it into several cars, leaving two children dead and several others injured, One America News Network reports.

Violent Crash Kills Two Children
According to reports, Walters Jr. has a long and violent criminal history. On Monday, he brought that violence into his own home and attacked his father.

The local police chief said Walters Jr.’s father was trying to take his son to the hospital for mental health issues when he freaked out and stabbed his father in an attempt to escape. After stabbing his father, Walters Jr. fled the scene in his pickup and was eventually pursued by local law enforcement.

During that pursuit, Walters Jr. crashed his truck into a tree.

As the responding officer was coming around the vehicle to see if Walters Jr. was okay, the parolee slipped out of the truck and stole the officer’s SUV.

While traveling at close to 100 mph, Walters Jr. crashed the SUV into several cars, which had children as passengers.

According to reports, at least 11 people had to be removed from the vehicles, including seven children.

Career Criminal
There is nothing about Walters Jr. that should offer him any type of leniency when this case goes before a judge and jury.

He was on parole for robbery at the time of the alleged stabbing and has a considerable criminal record.

Another weekend, another bloodbath in Chicago.

In a little more than 48 hours, more than two dozen shootings took place, with six people losing their lives, according to Breitbart.

The Violence Continues
The first killing of the weekend occurred on Friday night. A 34-year-old man was shot and killed in Humboldt Park.

Not long after that shooting, Donald Ruben, 60, was shot and killed in a South University alley. While standing on a sidewalk on Saturday afternoon, a 22-year-old man was shot and killed around 4:40 p.m.

Just two hours later, another man was murdered in Garfield Park.

On Sunday, two more murders took place. The first happened in the early morning hours, with a 17-year-old boy being shot and killed. The last murder of the weekend occurred late Sunday night when a 33-year-old man was shot and killed.

When Will Democrats Care?
We often see Democrats go on a rampage after a mass shooting, but every weekend in Chicago offers like numbers to these horrific shootings.

In all, at least 35 people were shot this weekend in Chicago, but did you hear a single Democrat discuss the problem in the media or rail for gun control as a result of Chicago’s violence?

We are getting ready for another holiday weekend, which means the violence in Chicago will be ramped up considerably.

This is one of the many Democrat cities in the country that has been controlled by liberals for decades and continues a downward spiral.

Chicago is far from alone in extreme violence, as cities such as Detroit, Baltimore, and Philadelphia offer much of the same. What’s worse is the fact cities like Dallas, Texas are also getting more and more violent with Democrats in control.

Dallas, now on its second consecutive Democrat mayor, is in jeopardy of having its most violent year yet in terms of murders. Clearly, Democrats are incapable of running big cities without running them into the ground.

Violence in Chicago leaves two dead, 11 injured

The bloodbath that is Chicago continues to leave residents lying in the street and the city with no answers.

On Friday alone, two people were killed and another 11 injured as the result of gun violence, the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

The Bloody Summer Continues
Chicago often has more violence in one day than most cities see in months.

On Friday, a couple was attacked in Humboldt Park. The shooter approached the couple and opened fire, hitting the man seven times and the woman three times. The man was pronounced dead at a local hospital and the woman is now in critical condition.

Prior to that attack, another man was attacked in Garfield Park. In this attack, a 19-year-old man was shot in the head and pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital.

Throughout the day, several more attacks were reported, with 10 more victims.

Dems Just Don’t Care
Everyone knows about the violence in Chicago, but nothing is being done about it. When Democrats politicized the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton, conservatives forced them to acknowledge the violence in Chicago.

Their interest faded rather quickly, though, and now the residents of Chicago are once again left to fend for themselves.

This is a city run by a Democrat mayor in a state with a Democrat governor. Chicago has not had a Republican mayor since 1931, so there is no place to blame the violence in this city other than the Democrat party.

The sad fact is this type of violence happens in many large cities that are run by Democrats. Detroit, Baltimore, and Philadelphia are among the most violent cities in our country, and they have all had Democrat leadership for decades.

Over the last couple of years, Dallas has been in a tailspin. That just happens to coincide with the fact that in 2011, a Democrat mayor took over from Republican Tom Leppert.

What is it going to take for Americans to wake up and realize putting Democrats in power always seems to lead to poverty, crime, and economic collapse?

Police arrest man in New York for committing random hate crimes

Residents of New York City are a little bit safer this week.
A man is now in custody for conducting several hate crimes against white people in recent weeks.

Hate Crimes
Democrats believe their words have no impact, but they have created an atmosphere of racial division.

Now, three people have paid the price.

One of the scarier and more vicious attacks was conducted against a 20-year-old white woman. Todd Lyons attacked the woman from behind, striking her in the head with a brick.

Authorities stated that she was lucky to have survived the attack, according to the Daily Mail.

More Violence
Lyons also pushed a 56-year-old man to the floor.

In a third attack, Lyons hit a 58-year-old man in the face.

While striking the man, Lyons reportedly said: “Get off the street honky, you [censored] honky, you don’t belong here.”

In addition to these attacks, Lyons has been associated with at least two other attacks, although he has not been charged in those.

In one of those attacks, Lyons pulled a woman’s hair, then pushed her to the ground.

He is currently facing three counts of assault and three counts of hate crime assault.

Palestinian Authority’s Lies About Stabbing Terror Exposed by Footage of Attack
 
Despite the fact that footage of a recent terror attack clearly shows two Palestinians ambushing Israeli officers in a stabbing attack that left one officer seriously wounded, the Palestinian Authority broadcast outlandish lies about the incident.

On Thursday afternoon, two 14 year old Palestinians exited the Temple Mount and immediately stabbed and attempted to murder an Israeli policeman. Video footage shows the attack, during which the wounded policeman falls to the ground, in addition to the quick response of the other policemen who shot the two terrorists before they could continue stabbing the fallen policeman or others.

As soon as the terrorists fell to the ground, one policeman is seen raising his hand signaling to the others to stop shooting. The entire terror attack lasted only a few seconds, and left one officer wounded and one terrorist dead immediately, while the second terrorist died later of his wounds.

Notwithstanding the video footage, official Palestinian Authority (PA) TV totally ignored the terror attack and referred to “children” being shot and “summary execution,” as if these were innocent “children.” In addition, the would-be murderer was called a “martyr,” which Palestinian religious leaders have repeatedly explained represents the highest achievement that can be attained by a Muslim.

Ignoring the circumstances, PA officials then used the event to condemn Israel for arbitrarily closing the Temple Mount in an attempt to inflate hatred of Israel.

The presenter on PA TV claimed, “The occupation authorities are continuing to hold the body of child Martyr Nassim Mukafih Abu Roumi (i.e., the terrorist who stabbed and wounded one Israeli), while the arrest of young Hamouda Al-Sheikh from the town of Al-Eizariya east of occupied Jerusalem continues (i.e., Abu Roumi’s accomplice, who later died of his wounds). The occupation police shot them next to the Chain Gate [of the Temple Mount].”

Abu Roumi’s father further embellished the story, lying: “They could have overpowered them in the first moment, because the army is trained. Seven soldiers came, lay them on the ground, and shot them several times – a summary execution that the Israeli forces commit against our children within Jerusalem.”

The PA often claims that Palestinian terrorists who are killed in the course of attempting to carry out a terror attack were “summarily executed” by Israel.

PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas’ Advisor on Religious Affairs and Supreme Shari’ah Judge Mahmoud Al-Habbash further fueled the animosity against Israel when he condemned the immediate Israeli response to the event – temporarily closing the Temple Mount for a number of hours – without mentioning the circumstances of the decision and called for Muslims worldwide to mobilize:

“The fact that the Israeli occupation forces closed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque is a declaration of war against Islam and the Muslims… Al-Habbash called ‘on the Muslims worldwide to mobilize and come to the Al-Aqsa Mosque to carry out Ribat there and defend it alongside their Palestinian and Jerusalem brothers, as the Al-Aqsa Mosque is the First Direction of Prayer of all of the Muslims and not only of the Palestinians, to whom Allah has granted the honor of guarding and defending it,'” reported WAFA, the official PA news agency.

An additional report in WAFA claimed that “witnesses said Israeli police and a Jewish settler opened fire at the Palestinians after they allegedly came under attack.”

Needless to say, claiming that Israel carries out extra-judicial killings of Palestinians, who in reality were killed while attempting to carry out terror attacks, serves to further inflate the daily hatred of Israel that the PA preaches. The hatred is compounded and intensified when the terrorists are minors.

Similarly, when the PA suggests that Israel arbitrarily closes the Temple Mount, by failing to give any reasoning behind the Israeli decision, the PA is intentionally trying to infuriate the Palestinian population and possibly even promote violence as it did just last week.

It’s worth noting that one of Israel’s foremost security commentators also recognized that this attack was not conducted in a vacuum.

Rather he said in a tweet that it was to be expected that after the murder of Dvir Sorek there would be other copycat murderers and the sermons of the Muslim Feast of the Sacrifice holiday (that took place last week) which inflamed the situation and caused the attack of the two minors and another ramming attack on Friday, in which two people were injured.

A murder investigation has been launched after a police officer was killed as he attended a reported burglary.

Thames Valley Police said Pc Andrew Harper died following a "serious incident" at around 11.30pm on Thursday near to the A4, Bath Road, between Reading and Newbury.

Ten males aged between 13 and 30 have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody at various police stations across the Thames Valley , a statement from the force said.

The incident happened at the crossroads of Ufton Lane and Lambdens Hill, near to the village of Sulhamstead, Berkshire police said.

PC Harper, from the Roads Policing Proactive Unit based at Abingdon Police Station, was killed while performing his duties, the force said in a statement.

Deputy Chief Constable Jason Hogg said: "Our deepest thoughts at this time are of course with Andrew's friends and family, who are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.

"Our thoughts also extend to all of Andrew's colleagues within Thames Valley Police.

"As a force we are devastated at the loss of our colleague and will all be supporting each other at this difficult time."

Officers remain at the scene of the incident. Ufton Lane and Lambdens Hill remain closed but the A4, Bath Road, has reopened, police said.

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Blaik, of the Thames Valley Police Major Crime Unit, said: "This is a tragic incident, and I would like to reassure the public as well as our officers and staff that we have launched a full and thorough investigation to establish what has happened.

"We have made a total of 10 arrests in connection with this incident, and those arrested are currently in police custody. Those arrested are all male and aged between 13 and 30.

"I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to get in touch. If you have any information which you think could be at all relevant to our investigation, no matter how insignificant it may seem, please leave details on our website or call 101."

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said he is "deeply shocked and appalled" by the death of "brave" Thames Valley police officer Andrew Harper after he was killed as he attended a reported burglary in Berkshire.

He said: "I am deeply shocked and appalled by the death of a brave officer on duty in Thames Valley last night.

"My thoughts are with Pc Harper's family, friends and colleagues at this terrible time.

"They have my absolute support."

Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn said he was "totally shocked" by the death of PC Andrew Harper, and said it highlighted the need for more police officers on the streets.

Speaking from Machynlleth during a visit to Wales on Friday, he said: "I'm totally shocked at Andrew Harper's death, and my immediate thoughts are condolences to his family and to his colleagues who must be going through some awful moments at the present time.

"He was doing his duty apparently investigating a robbery of some sort, and was killed in the line of duty.

"Ten people have been arrested already, which I hope is good news in the sense that they are taken out of the equation and can't commit any more crimes if they are indeed the guilty ones.

"Let's just think for a moment of the horror of it, but also for the need for more police officers to be able to respond to disorder in our society, but also the problem of guns and the problem of violence that is growing."

The Muslim terrorist has been identified as 21-year-old Mert Nay of Marayong. He ran through downtown Sydney stabbing people, mostly women. He used a butchers knife and just ran up and down the street stabbing people. He killed one woman and injured others.

Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said that “information was found on him that would suggest he had some ideologies related to terrorism, but he has no links to terrorism … he has no apparent links to terror organisations,”. He continued by calling him a “lone” actor.

What Australian, and most Western authorities, prefer to ignore, is that by screaming Allah Akbar, the terrorist made know that his motive is his Muslim religion. Muslim terrorists do not need to be part of a terror organization to commit terror attacks. They are incited to act this way by some of their religious leaders. In addition to punishing the terrorist, Australian authorities must find the Muslim leaders who incited him. Then they must punish him/them by expelling him/them. Religious incitement in Mosques and Islamic schools to murder non-Muslims must be punishable. That is the only solution.

Police Superintendent David Wood said the men who tackled the alleged offender were “significant brave,” and likely stopped further attacks.

A 19-year-old religious studies student, Dvir Sorek, went missing last night on his return to his Educational institution, Ohr Torah Machanaim in the community of Migdal Oz in the Judean Hills. His body was found at 3AM this morning, outside the gates of the community. An investigation is still pending whether it was a failed kidnapping attempt or whether he was stabbed while walking on the road.

What Happened
Sorek traveled to Jerusalem last night to purchase Torah books as thank you presents on the last day of studies before the summer vacation. He was in contact with his study partner that he was on his way back, but then contact was lost with him. At 7:30 pm police received a report of a missing person, and forces began extensive searches to locate him. His body was found at 3 am. Police and the IDF are currently in pursuit of the murderer/s.

Rabbi Shlomo Vilk, the head of the Machanaim Torah Institution where Sorek studied, said this morning in an interview that Sorek was “in the world of fear of God and of joy and goodness.”

“He always walked around with a smile on his face, sometimes his outward appearance hid the good and wisdom and love of every person.”

“He was really in touch with animals and humans. He decided to study in a yeshiva that has interfaith meetings, Torah, that has a lot of family, no matter who the person is, all types of students: secular, religious, Arab, anyone who can be heard.”

“He was one of the most dedicated people, it’s hard to grasp that he’s gone. “

“He went to Jerusalem to buy gifts for his rabbis to show his appreciation, and on the way back this terrible attack happened. He was found embracing the books he had bought.”

“We are shocked. Where do we go now? Primarily in the next minute and the next hour?”

PM Netanyahu’s Response
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was present at a foundation stone ceremony this morning for the construction of a neighborhood of 650 new housing units in Beit El, in Samaria.

At the beginning of his remarks, the prime minister said, “We promised to build hundreds of housing units in Beit El – today we are doing it, both because we have promised and because our purpose is to establish the people of Israel in its land, to secure our sovereignty in our historic homeland.”

“We know that the Land of Israel is acquired through suffering. Today another of our sons fell, one of our best sons from a family that has already made a heavy sacrifice for the Land of Israel,” Netanyahu noted.

(KDKA) – Two women were stabbed, one fatally, right in front of a police officer late Thursday morning in the middle of downtown Pittsburgh. This follows a report of a man who went on a two-hour stabbing and robbery rampage in Southern California, killing four people and wounding two others, The latest Pittsburg incident was reported around 11:30 a.m. at 6th and Smithfield Streets, at a Port Authority bus shelter. The scene is not far from a Rite Aid, Burlington Coat Factory and the entrance to the Duquesne Club.

The 33-year-old Garden Grove man was taken into custody after he came out of a 7-Eleven in Santa Ana, southeast of Los Angeles, and dropped a knife along with a handgun that he had taken from a guard, police said. The violence appeared to be random and the only known motives seem to be “robbery, hate, homicide,” Garden Grove police Lt.

London has experienced a shocking weekend of violence.
Multiple stabbings, the murder of an elderly woman and a boy being thrown from the 10th floor of the Tate Modern has left the capital reeling.
Our emergency services have been working tirelessly at the scenes of these horrendous incidents.
Here is everything you need to know about the bloody weekend on London's streets:
Boy, 6, fighting for life after being thrown from 10th floor

A teenager has been arrested after a young boy was thrown from the tenth floor of the Tate Modern.
Emergency services were called at around 2.20pm yesterday (Sunday August 4) to reports of a child thrown from the tenth floor viewing platform of the famous gallery.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police attended along with the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance.
The six year-old victim was found on a fifth floor roof. He was treated at the scene and taken to hospital by London’s Air Ambulance.

The boy’s condition is critical.
A 17-year-old male remained with members of the public until the police arrived when he was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

In a statement from the Met Police, a spokesperson said: "There is nothing to suggest that he is known to the victim."
Boy stabbed in shoulder during Hayes street fight
A boy has been stabbed following a fight in Hayes.
Police were called to Kingshill Avenue at around 7.29pm on Sunday evening (August 4) to reports of a fight.
Paramedics also attended and at the scene, they found a boy aged 16 with slash injuries to the shoulder.
A witness at the scene said a cordon was put in place and buses were diverted.
She said: "Something has happened in Hayes, Kingshill Avenue by the shops lots of police and road closed of buses on diversion.
"A cordon was up."

The victim has been taken to hospital, where his condition is stable.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.

Elderly woman murdered in Tottenham home
A murder investigation has been launched following the death of an elderly woman in Tottenham.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service at around 10.45am on Sunday, August 4, to the body of an 89-year-old woman found at an address in Waltheof Gardens.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been informed. A post-mortem examination and formal identification will be arranged in due course.
Officers believe one or more suspects gained entry to the woman’s house in Waltheof Gardens at some point between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish any motive. Officers haven’t ruled out burglary as a motive, but they retain an open mind at this early stage. There has been no arrest.

DCI Garry Moncrieff of Specialist Crime said: “The woman had clearly been assaulted and, as such, a murder investigation has been launched.
“I want to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in and around Waltheof Gardens and the surrounding area on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
“In addition, somebody locally may be aware of a friend or family member who they saw with blood stains on their clothing, or whose behaviour caused them particular concern on Saturday night or Sunday morning. If so, I need to hear from them.”

Three men stabbed and one woman hurt after falling from height following fight
A group of people have been injured in a fight near Borough in South London.
Emergency services were called to the scene at Empire Square East, near Long Lane, shortly after 10am on Sunday (August 4) after receiving reports of a fight.
One woman sustained injuries after reportedly falling from a height where there are blocks of flats.
She was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital for treatment.

A man was found near to the scene with a stab injury and was also rushed to hosptial.
Two other males, who also had stab injuries, were detained near to the scene on suspicion of GBH. They have been taken to hospital to treat their injuries, the Metropolitan Police confirmed.
A woman was taken to hospital to be treated for shock.
Thankfully, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

Man injured after incident in Thornton Heath
A man has been taken to hospital with an "arm injury" following the incident on Saturday (August 3).
Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service were called to the scene on Beulah Road , outside a Morley's chicken shop, at 2.20pm.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "A man was treated at the scene for an arm injury and taken to hospital for treatment."

One of the owners of Orbit Dry Cleaners, a few doors down from the Morley's, told MyLondon a knife was involved. However this has not been confirmed by police.
Footage from the scene, taken earlier, show the road cordoned off with four police cars and two ambulances in attendance. Police were interviewing eye witnesses.
An air ambulance was also seen circling low over the area. The London Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
No arrests have yet been made and enquiries are ongoing.

Machete attack at Enfield Town station sees man rushed to hospital with head injury
A man was rushed to hospital after being attacked with a machete at Enfield Town station in the early hours of Sunday morning (August 4).
He suffered head and arm injuries which were thankfully not considered to be life threatening or life changing.
two men, both 20-years-old, were arrested following a search of the area and remain in police custody.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "BTP are appealing for further information following an attack with a machete at Enfield Town Station.
"Officers were called to the area at 3.11am this morning.

A young man has suffered slash wounds to his face and head in Chingford.
The victim, a 21-year-old, was reportedly chased by a man armed with a knife.
Police were called to Station Road shortly after 2.16am on Sunday, August 4.
The victim was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. His condition has been assessed as non life-threatening.
A crime scene was put in place. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.

Ilford 'acid attack' sees man rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries
A man has been rushed to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries following a suspected acid attack in Ilford.
The incident occurred in Marks Gate on Friday, August 2.
Officers were called by the London Ambulance Service to Kingston Close shortly after 9pm following reports that a man had been attacked with a noxious substance.
At the scene they found a man in his 20s suffering from injuries to his arm and face.
He was rushed to an East London hospital for treatment of injuries that are consistent with a corrosive substance attack.
His condition is not life-threatening.
4 men stabbed in Morden Park during music festival
Police have revealed that four men have been stabbed in a park which hosted a music festival at the weekend.
Eastern Electrics, an underground house and techno festival, took place in Morden Park.
During the Saturday afternoon and evening of the festival, the stabbings took place in the park.

The first victim, a 24-year-old, was attacked just after 4pm and taken to hospital.

Officers were called to Hertford Road at around 1.36pm on Sunday, August 4.
A man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital after he reported being approached by a group of males who demanded he hand over his bike.
The victim refused, and was then stabbed. His injuries have been assessed as non life-threatening.

Pedestrians injured after car mounts pavement near Charing Cross station
A number of pedestrians have been injured after a car mounted a pavement in Charing Cross.
The incident occurred at around 11.10pm on Saturday night (August 3).
Three people were injured as the car collided into them outside Charing Cross Station between the Strand and Villiers Street.

An Iraq war veteran has been found guilty of stabbing a Britain’s Got Talent finalist to death in a violent rage.

 Desmond Sylva, 41, knifed his on-off girlfriend Simonne Kerr, 31, more than 70 times at his flat in Clapham, south London, on August 15 last year. The former soldier, who served in Iraq and Kosovo, admitted manslaughter but denied murder, citing depression. 
But prosecutor Oliver Glasgow QC told jurors it was an all too familiar case of ‘sexual desire, appalling violence and desperate lies’.
 He said: ‘He wanted to restart a sexual relationship with Simonne Kerr. When he did not get what he wanted, he could not control his anger and he exploded.’
She met Sylva through dating app Tinder and arranged to visit his flat after finishing her shift at Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital on the morning of August 15 (Picture: PA) Sylva made no reaction as the Old Bailey jury delivered its guilty verdict after three days of deliberations.
Judge Wendy Joseph QC adjourned sentencing until June 28.

A man has died after a triple stabbing that injured two others as the capital suffered its fifth killing in the capital in six days.

The knifing in Barnet, north London, happened at 10.50pm last night as police responded to reports of a fight.

Scotland Yard said three men who had been stabbed were taken to hospital, one of whom later died. Officers this morning launched London's 61st murder investigation of 2019.

The condition of the two men, aged in their 20s and 30s, is not life-threatening. No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing, police said.

The incident comes after a man in his 40s was stabbed to death in Whalebone Lane, Stratford, in the early hours of Monday.

That killing followed three homicides in the space of 24 hours, including two teenagers who were fatally attacked at teatime on Friday.

Cheyon Evans, 18, was found stabbed on Deeside Road in Wandsworth, south-west London, at 4.42pm, and died at the scene.

A 15-year-old boy is fighting for his life after he was stabbed more than 20 times. 
The teenager was attacked at around 2.10am in Preston Gardens, Luton, today, and is now in hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detective Inspector Jerry Waite from Bedfordshire Police said: ‘The victim received more than 20 stab wounds in this shocking incident and is now fighting for his life. ‘It’s absolutely vital that anyone who has any information about this incident, no matter how minor it may seem, gets in touch with us. ‘You could help us find the person, or people, responsible for this horrific attack. Four dead in violent weekend and mob of 100 youths strikes outside Westfield

The latest killing took place in Stratford, east London, in which a man in his 40s was found collapsed as a result of stab wounds at 12.40am today. 

He was pronounced dead 20 minutes later and police have put in place an order that allows them to stop and search people throughout the entire borough of Newham until 6pm today. 

Over the weekend three people were killed in 24 hours after six stabbings took place across the capital and violence broke out after a robbery near Stratford Westfield Shopping Centre. Officers were jumped on and had bottles pelted at them by around 100 youths.

Police have put in place an order allowing them to stop and search people throughout today (Picture: LNP) Witnesses fled the scene and at least one woman was injured in the stampede after falling down some stairs. 

Police managed to eventually control the situation, arresting three people on suspicion of robbery and possession of an offensive weapon after a hunting knife was discovered.
Among the dead from the weekend of violence is construction student Cheyon Evans, 18, who was stabbed to death in Tooting, south west London, at 4.42pm on Friday. 
Witnesses said he was stabbed repeatedly by a gang of teenagers and two people, a teenager, 17, who cannot be named and Mohammed Nadir Dafallah, 18, have been charged. 
His sister Charice said: ‘You knew how much I loved you, my best friend, my right hand, my everything.
 ‘Words can’t even explain how heartbroken I am. The fact that I’ll never see you, hug you or hear your voice again kills me.’

Some 12 minutes later Eniola Aluka, 19, was shot repeatedly in the neck and chest in Plumstead, south east London, leading to the arrest of four teenage boys, aged 16 to 18, and a girl, 17.
 The girl and three of the boys have been released. At 2pm on Saturday a man was stabbed in a field near a children’s nursery in Tower Hamlets, east London. 
Two men, 33 and 28, were arrested for murder. 
The spate of attacks led to criticism of Sadiq Khan from Donald Trump, who called the London mayor a ‘disaster’. 

Retweeting a post by right-wing commentator Katie Hopkins about the killings, the president said the capital needed a new mayor ‘ASAP’. 
The original post by Hopkins called the capital ‘Stab-City’ and ‘Khan’s Londonistan’ alongside two screenshots of BBC News articles detailing the violence. 
A City Hall spokesman said Mr Khan was focusing on supporting communities and he was ‘not going to waste his time’ responding to the president’s tweet.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Matthew Twist, said: ‘Firstly, our thoughts are with all the victims’ families and friends who are facing the most devastating tragedy imaginable this weekend and indeed to their wider communities. 

‘We made a significant number of arrests in relation to the three incidents and officers are undertaking further activities, following up additional investigative leads to ensure that we achieve justice for the families of those affected by violence in the last few days. 

‘We have increased the coverage of the Violent Crime Task Force in targeted areas across London this weekend and officers from across the boroughs, supported by colleagues from specialist units, will continue to undertake high-visibility patrols which will remain in place today and into the start of the week.
 ‘We have been using a number of operational tactics in targeted locations, to prevent further violence and to provide reassurance to the communities in those areas.

Teenagers charged with murder of boy stabbed to death during 24 hour bloodshed in London

Mohammed Nadir Dafallah, 18, and another boy, 17, are charged with murdering an 18-year-old victim in Wandsworth on Friday afternoon. Police were called to the stabbing on Deeside Road in south-west London at 4.42pm on Friday. They found the victim in a critical condition but despite the efforts of paramedics, he died at the scene.

His death came during a spate of violence in London, with five seperate attacks taking place in just 24 hours. Minutes after the Wandsworth stabbing, another teenager, 19, was shot in a car park on Hartville Road, Plumstead, south-east London.

On Saturday, just hours later, a man in his 30s was killed in Tower Hamlets, east London. Three men were also stabbed in a separate attack in Clapham.


The Metropolitan Police said 14 people – including several boys and a girl – have been arrested in connection with the incidents in Wandsworth, Plumstead and Clapham. Mayor of London Sadiq Khan said on Friday: ‘I am sickened to hear that two young lives have been ended within minutes of each other in Wandsworth and Greenwich. ‘Our overstretched police are working around the clock to keep Londoners safe. The mayor was attacked by US president Donald Trump in the wake of the violence, who took to Twitter to call Khan a ‘national disgrace’. A spokesman for the mayor said today: ‘Sadiq is focusing on supporting London’s communities and over-stretched emergency services. ‘He has been in regular touch with senior Met police officers last night and throughout the day. ‘His thoughts are with the victims’ families. He is not going to waste his time responding to this sort of tweet.’ The victims have not yet been formally identified by police.

The man, in his 40s or 50s, carried a knife in each hand and began stabbing people lined up at the stop near Noborito Park in the city of Kawasaki. He killed two people before taking his own life, local authorities said. Most of the victims were schoolgirls, an official at the Kawasaki city office told the Associated Press.

He said three of the injuries were serious and 13 others were not life-threatening. NHK national television, quoting police, said that the suspect died after cutting himself in the neck. Most of the victims attended a school founded by Soeurs de la Charite de Quebec, an organisation of Catholic nuns in Quebec City in Canada. A witness told the Mainichi newspaper that he heard children shrieking after walking past a bus, and when he turned around, he saw a man wielding a knife in each hand, screaming ‘I will kill you’ and that several children were on the ground. NHK, citing police, said that a bus driver told officials that a man holding a knife in each hand walked toward the bus and started slashing children. NHK also interviewed a witness who said he saw the suspect trying to force his way onto a bus. The attacker’s identity and motives were not immediately known.

Although Japan has one of the lowest crime rates in the world, it has had a series of high-profile killings, including in 2016 when a former employee at a home for the disabled allegedly killed 19 and injured more than 20 others. In 2008, seven people were killed by a man who slammed a truck into a crowd of people in central Tokyo’s Akihabara electronics district and then stabbed passers-by. Also in 2016, a man stabbed four people at a library in northeastern Japan, allegedly over their mishandling of his questions. No one was killed.
