In Potential Alliance Against Turkey, Israel and Greece Strengthen Military Ties
(BIN) – The head of the Greek army, Hellenic National Defense General Staff Chief Konstantinos Floros, met on Tuesday in Israel with his counterpart, IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, to discuss deepening military ties between their countries.


“The Israeli-Greek military bond continues to grow stronger,” the IDF tweeted after the meeting, held to talk about “operational developments in the region.” According to the Greek media, the two generals discussed promoting stability and peace in the eastern Mediterranean, “in light of recent developments.”


During an official visit to Israel in June, Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis specifically pointed to Ankara as a threat.

“You cannot bring the words terror and Islam together. If you keep doing it, then we are condemning those who do it.”

This is a familiar sleight-of-hand. It is Islamic jihad terrorists who bring terror and Islam together. When they do that, Erdogan says nothing. But when non-Muslim foes of jihad terror point out that there are some Muslims who bring terror and Islam together, Erdogan cries “Islamophobia” and pretends that the non-Muslims are responsible for the equation. Erdogan is by far not the only one who employs this tactic.

A Muslim cannot be a terrorist and Islam does not produce terrorists, the Turkish president said on Dec. 5, once again rejecting the term “Islamic terrorism”.

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said racism, discrimination and Islamophobia have spread like poison ivy in countries once seen as cradles of democracy.

Erdoğan’s remarks came at the inauguration ceremony of the Cambridge Central Mosque which he attended with first lady Emine Erdoğan and a group of high-level Turkish officials….

Erdoğan said workplaces, homes and places of worships of Muslims and foreigners are targeted by racists and fascist almost every day.

“Muslim women are abused only because they are wearing headscarves” in Islamophobic attacks, Erdoğan said, adding Jewish, black people and whoever looks different are targeted in similar attacks.

Especially attacks targeting places of worships have reached “incredible dimensions,” he added, recalling the mosque attack in New Zealand, church attacks in Sri Lanka and synagogues in the U.S….

“You cannot bring the words terror and Islam together. If you keep doing it, then we are condemning those who do it,” he added.

A Muslim cannot be a terrorist; Islam does not produce terrorists, Erdoğan underlined.

“We do not accept the Islamic terrorism etiquette, [a term] some insistently try to keep popular.”

Erdoğan said Turkey has been fighting ISIL more effectively than any other country, noting that 3,000 terrorists were neutralized only in Syria’a Al Bab town.

Erdoğan said he rejects any distinction of “good or bad” terrorist and all terrorists of ISIL, FETÖ, PKK/YPG, even Neo-Nazis are “bloodthirsty vampires”.

Speaking about Europe’s first eco-friendly mosque built in Cambridge, Erdoğan said the mosque will be the “best response to rising Islamophobia”….

Also attending the ceremony, British singer Yusuf Islam said the Cambridge Central Mosque will promote understanding.

Underlining that he became Muslim more than 40 years ago and his conversion was a “spiritual step forward”, Islam thanked the Turkish president and Turkey’s Religious Affairs Directorate for assistance in building the mosque….

The road to building Europe’s first eco-friendly mosque began back in 2008, when the capacity of local churches and houses was unable to meet the worship needs of local Muslims….

More than 10,000 people and groups donated money for the landmark purchase, with Turkish groups donating most generously. The Qatar National Fund also was among the donors.

Abdal Hakim Murad, together with Islam (also known as Cat Stevens), sought support for the project from Erdoğan, who was then Turkey’s prime minister….

Erdogan Hints Syria Invasion Really Islamic Holy War
CBN – Turkey is in the sixth week of its violent campaign to establish a so-called “safe zone” in northeast Syria. But watchdog groups and eyewitnesses on the ground say Turkey has aspirations far beyond the war-torn country. Social media posts from Turkish-backed fighters and statements from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan himself reveal that Ankara appears to be on violent jihadist mission.
Erdogan told the international community he needs to create a safe zone in northern Syria to relocate millions of Syrian refugees there. The premier also said that “Operation Spring Peace” will eradicate Kurdish-led forces in the region, forces he regards as terrorists but the US sees as allies. The Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reports that Erdogan uses very different language when speaking to his Turkish troops and the Free Syrian Army jihadist mercenaries he has recruited for the fight.

MEMRI reports that on October 25, in a speech at the Çamlica Mosque in Istanbul, President Erdoğan said: “The Lord commands us to be violent against the unbelievers. Who is that ‘we’? Eyewitnesses on the ground tell CBN News that Turkish-backed forces are targeting "the unbelievers," many of whom are Christians.

Mindy Belz of WORLD Magazine told CBN News that Free Syrian Army soldiers, who are allied with Turkey, are marking Christian homes with the Arabic letter "N" to identify them as Christian and then confiscated their belongings just like ISIS did a few years ago.

"One of the Syrian refugees that I spoke to, and this was a Muslim, went out of his way to explain to me that what he saw was targeting of Christians," Belz said.

A senior State Department official said last week that Turkey is backing forces who have the same radical ideology as ISIS.

"The problem is that the people doing the fighting are these ill-disciplined Arab militias, some of whom we've worked within the past when we were arming the opposition, but many of whom are (a) ill-disciplined, and (b) relatively radical, and their ideology is essentially Islamic ideology," the official said.

A fragile government in northern Syria called the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAA) released a statement on Tuesday saying that Erdogan seeks to subjugate them through radical Islam.

"Erdogan plans to turn are free, democratic region back into turmoil under radical Islamic occupation," the government said.

Many Turkish Twitter users praise the invasion into northeast Syria as a form of jihad.

On October 7, user @mollakevseri wrote:

"An army educated by Islam will change its route to avoid harming an anthill in times of peace. In times of jihad it will show its intention to win by making its enemies' blood flow thunderously like waterfalls. #OperationPeaceFountain.

On the same day,  @muradiilahi wrote:

"Our renown will increase with jihad. #OperationPeaceFountain."

Critics of Erdogan's invasion say he is trying to revive the Ottoman Empire and establish a new caliphate.

"Their open intention is to restore the original caliphate which was disbanded in 1924," said Dalton Thomas of Frontier Alliance International.

Recently Turkey's defense minister posted a map to his social media that shows portions of Greece, Syria, and Iraq as part of a greater Turkey.

Defense Minister Hulusi Akar posted a message alongside the map: "We have no eyes on anyone's soil. We will only take what's ours."

The map reflects the 1920 Ottoman National Pact that includes lands Turkey believes it deserved at the end of World War I.

Charmaine Hedding of the humanitarian aid organization The Shai Fund told CBN News she sees a historical parallel with World War II.

"I think that what we have done as the West is that we have given over this so-called buffer zone to Turkey in the hope for peace in our time, just like Chamberlain did to Nazi Germany with the Sudetenland land and we know what happened after that."

There Won't be Christians Left': Syrian Christians Fear Grim Future in Shadow of Turkey's Invasion

In the aftermath of the Turkish invasion, evidence is mounting that Christians have been the target.

Along the Turkish-Syrian border reports are emerging of Christians living, dying and fleeing in the face of the Turkish onslaught aided by jihadist troops.

In the Syrian border town of Sari Kani, Kobane Rohani TV interviewed Ziad Mussa, the only Christian left in town. Mussa said the Turkish state "is targeting the Christians" and that Turkey "aims at annihilating the people of the region and impose a demographic change." Mussa also claimed that Turkey is "destroying the Christian churches and heritage and trying to annihilate the Christians from this region."

Christianity is in danger

A Rudaw24 report documented the fears of the Christians in Qamishli, a city in northeastern Syria on the border with Turkey. A Christian named Sawmi told the news organization that if Turkish-backed militias enter the city, Christians will not be spared. "Christianity is in danger. If Christianity dies in the east, then Christianity will die as a whole because we the Syriac speak the language of Jesus. The Syriac language is the Aramaic language. If we are gone, there won’t be Christians left.”

Before the Turkish invasion, it was estimated up to 100,000 Christians lived in northeast Syria. How many remain in the cradle of Christianity after Erdogan's invasion remains to be seen.

With Turkey seemingly intent on forging an ever-closer relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the time has come to give serious consideration to Ankara's continued membership of the NATO alliance.
When the Turks first became members of NATO back in 1952, it was because their country was seen as a vital bulwark against the Soviet Union. Having Turkey in NATO meant it was easier to monitor the activities of the Soviet Black Sea fleet, and limited Moscow's ability to spread its tentacles into eastern Europe and the Middle East.

Now, thanks to the increasingly anti-Western conduct of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, none of these considerations remains relevant.
These days, the Soviet Union might be no more, but Russia under Mr Putin's autocratic rule is just as determined to undermine the West and its allies, and Mr Erdogan, to judge by his successful summit with the Russian leader on October 22 at the Black Sea city of Sochi, is proving to be Moscow's useful idiot in accomplishing these goals.
Relations between Ankara and Moscow have improved considerably since Turkish warplanes shot down a Russian military jet that had strayed into Turkish air space in 2015.
Thanks to the close rapport that exists between Mr Putin and Mr Erdogan, Russia's Black Sea fleet is able to operate freely, to the extent that Russian warships based in the area were used to attack rebel forces in Syria fighting the regime of President Bashir al-Assad.

Western globalists have no one to blame but themselves for these displays of Islamic supremacist arrogance and bullying. The same is true of Westerners who appease Islamic supremacists in the name of “diversity” and “tolerance.” Even more of this brazenness can be expected, as Westerners continue to succumb to Islamization.

President Erdogan of Turkey and Hezbollah politicians in Lebanon are ordering the EU to “kneel” or watch as their countries “open the gates” for millions of illegal migrants.

“Hey European Union. Pull yourself together,” warned the Turkish strongman, who used a failed coup against him in 2016 as an opportunity to hurl thousands of his political opponents and detractors into prison, over moves by the EU to condemn his recent incursion into Kurdish-controlled territory in northern Syria.

“I say it again. If you try to label this operation as an invasion, it’s very simple: we will open the gates and send 3.6 million refugees your way,” threatened the Islamist leader, prompting a round of applause from his audience.

Erdogan boasted that his operation had already eliminated over 100 “terrorists” and insisted his goal was to “contribute to Syria’s political and territorial integrity” — although his operation is opposed by the Russian-backed Syrian government which controls most of the country.

He also suggested the leadership of the Saudi regime, which has also been critical of the incursion, “look into the mirror”, suggesting they had themselves caused “tens of thousands” of deaths in Yemen.

Turkey is ostensibly a military ally of most of the European countries Erdogan is threatening, as a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) defence alliance.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Raed, a Lebanese legislator representing Hezbollah, the Islamist political party-cum-terror network, has been recommending a similar diet of threats to make Europe “kneel” to their own demands.

“All we have to do is wave the card of Syrian refugees and all the European countries will kneel before us,” said the MP, in comments reported by An-Nahar, one of Lebanon’s most widely circulated newspapers……
