A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your
character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what
others think you are.

WHAT the LORD TOLERATES
"I wiped out nations: Their corner towers are desolate; I turn their
thoroughfares into ruins, with none passing by. Their towns lie waste
without people, without inhabitants. And I thought that you would fear
ME, receive instruction, and that the punishment I brought would not be
lost on you and cut off your vision. Instead, all the more eagerly you
have practiced corruption in all your deeds. But wait for ME — says
the LORD — for the day when I arise as an ACCUSER; when I decide to
gather nations, to bring kingdoms together, to pour out MY indignation
on them, all MY blazing anger. Indeed, by the fire of MY passion all the
earth shall be consumed." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3. 6 - 8 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

ALMIGHTY GOD revealed HIMSELF in the HOLY SCRIPTURES as the UNIQUE
MEASURE and the EMBODIMENT OF ABSOLUTE TRUTH. HE holds the
extraordinary position of being CREATOR and SUSTAINER of the heavens and
the earth, and all that HE created. Our GOD is omnipotent (all
powerful), omniscient (all knowledge) and omnipresent (everywhere all at
once) and HE is altogether righteous. There is no inconsistency, HE is
perfect, holy and just.

When we insist on our doing what is right in our own eyes, apart from
GOD'S holy standards; tolerate what HE does not tolerate, or fail to
tolerate what HE does tolerate, we are sinning. Sin and iniquity are
things the MASTER DESIGNER does not or will not tolerate. "Your
iniquities have been a barrier between you and your GOD, your sins have
made HIM turn HIS face away and refuse to hear you. For your hands are
defiled with crime and blood and your fingers with iniquity. Your lips
speak falsehood, your tongue utters treachery. No one sues justly, nor
pleas for truth or pleads honestly. They rely on emptiness and speak
falsehood, conceiving wrong and begetting evil." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 59.
2 - 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Although the LORD OF HOSTS, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL does not tolerate
sin, HE is more than tolerant of mankind; HE is compassionate and
merciful. Prophets of old are replete with examples of GOD'S
intolerance as well as HIS tolerance. They carefully spell out the
consequences of sin. . . captivity, dispersion, hardship, suffering and
death. They also tell the positive side of serving the LIVING
GOD...redemption, renewal, eternal life and heavenly rewards.

The ALMIGHTY ONE not only has the unique right to be intolerant of our
sin, but HE provides the "UNIQUE MEANS" to make us righteous. "THE WAY"
has been provided for us to be reconciled to HIM, "For the life of the
flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you for making
expiation for your lives upon the altar; IT IS THE BLOOD, as life, that
effects expiation." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah] YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. The LORD JESUS said of HIMSELF, "I am
the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER except
through ME." [John 14. 6]

Therefore beloved, we should consider what manner of persons we ought to
be in holy conduct and godliness, "looking for and hastening the coming
of the Day of GOD, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being
on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat." [2 Peter 3. 12]

"For GOD did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but
that the world through HIM might be saved. He who believes in HIM is not
condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he
has not believed in the name of the oNLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD." [John 3.
17 - 18] Only by acknowledging and agreeing with GOD'S intolerance of
our sin can we discover that HE is also incredibly merciful and loving
in providing MESSIAH YESHUA, THE WAY, to have a relationship with us.
In the PERSON of the LORD JESUS, we can see how far ALMIGHTY GOD was
willing to go in order for us to be made right. Thank you LORD JESUS
for YOUR cleansing blood.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
May your life be a witness and beneficiary of GOD MOST HIGH'S care, love
and presence. HIS grace is greater then all our needs!
O GOD, do not keep silent; do not hold aloof; do not be quiet, O EL!
For YOUR enemies rage, Your foes assert themselves, they plot craftily
against YOUR people, take counsel against YOUR treasured ones. They say,
"Let us wipe them out as a nation; Israel's name will be
mentioned no more." Deal with them, O my GOD, make them like
thistledown, like chaff driven by the wind, as a fire burns a forest, as
flames scorch the hills, pursue them with YOUR tempest, terrify them
with YOUR storm. Cover their faces with shame so that they seek YOUR
NAME, O YEHOWAH. May they be frustrated and terrified, disgraced and
doomed forever. May they know that YOUR NAME, YOURS alone is YEHOWAH,
the MOST HIGH over all the earth. [see Psalms/Tehillym 83]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make peace with the past so it doesn't mess up your present.

MISHKAN COVERING (Part 2 of 2)
"As for the lower cover of the Tabernacle, make it of ten strips of
cloth; make these of fine twisted linen, of blue, purple, and crimson
yarns, with a design of cherubim worked into them." [Exodus (Shemot) 26.
1 Tanakh, Torah]

The cherubim (according to Ezekiel's vision) had four faces.
[Ezekiel/Yehezke- El 1. 10; 10. 21] These Four Creatures are among the
highest in the world: The Lion among wild beasts; the Ox among tame
cattle, the Eagle among birds; and Man among all creatures; but, GOD is
supreme over all. The OX, LION, MAN and EAGLE tell us of the Four-Fold
Ministry of the UNIVERSAL MESSIAH:

THE OX (MESSIAH is symbolized as the SERVANT in Mark's Gospel) is the
patient, enduring SERVANT of man. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA came as a
"SERVANT" — HE is the BELOVED SAVIOR/REDEEMER. YESHUA serves
mankind with HIS wonderful salvation. HE came, not to be ministered to,
but to minister and give HIS life a ransom for many. [Matthew 20. 28]

THE LION (The LORD JESUS is shown as the KING in Matthew's Gospel) is
the king of beasts. YESHUA ha'MASHIACH has power and dominion on the
earth. Our WONDERFUL LORD is called "The LION of the tribe of Judah."
HE has all dominion and did exercise this power while on earth as KING
OF THE JEWS. HE came to destroy the works of Satan. [1 John 3. 8]
CHRIST JESUS is the GREAT PHYSICIAN.

THE EAGLE (John's text shows CHRIST JESUS to be the SON OF THE LIVING
GOD) is the king of the birds, soaring high into the heavens and most
feared by the snake. JESUS is the KING of kings. HE is the MIGHTY
BAPTIZER with the HOLY SPIRIT [Matthew 3. 11] causing HIS people to rise
on wings into the Heavens with HIM.

THE MAN (Luke pictures YESHUA as the SON OF MAN) Daniel saw YESHUA
coming in the Clouds of Glory calling HIM the "SON OF MAN." When the
LORD JESUS came the first time, HE was rejected of man; but when HE
returns, HE will be THE MAN over men, the PRAISEWORTHY RULER over
mankind. All the governments of the world shall be upon HIS shoulder.
[Isaiah/Yeshayah 9. 6] Our SOVEREIGN LORD will reign forever and ever!

According to Jewish teachings: "The encampment of Israel around the
Tabernacle was marked by banners or standards picturing the four-faces
of the cherubim. The banner of the first three tribes bore the outline
of a Lion, the second pictured Man, the third was an image of an Ox, and
the fourth was the emblem of an Eagle — thus representing the same
idea as the cherubim in the Holiest, the Veil, and the Tabernacle
Coverings."

This PROMISED MESSIAH is the fulfillment of all these emblems and
designs. HE is the STANDARD or BANNER heading all HIS redeemed. JESUS'
SOVEREIGN NAME is YEHOWAH-NISSI, "The LORD, my BANNER." [Exodus/Shemot
17. 15]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Watch and pray...the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA our RIGHTEOUS KING is coming
soon! Shalom! Shalom!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 19 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sun 12 Feb 2012, 6:53 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Be a disciple of Aaron, loving and pursuing peace, loving your fellow
man and attracting him to the study of Torah. [Hillel]

MISHKAN COVERING (Part 1 of 2)
"As for the lower cover of the Tabernacle, make it of ten strips of
cloth; make these of fine twisted linen, of blue, purple, and crimson
yarns, with a design of cherubim worked into them." [Exodus (Shemot) 26.
1 Tanakh, Torah]

This covering is first of four made especially for the Tabernacle in the
Wilderness — the LORD GOD wishes to dwell with HIS people. The
Hebrew word for tabernacle is "mishkan" — and the word "sheka" means
"to dwell." Combined, one gets the word SHEKINAH meaning the place
where GOD dwells. The DIVINE ONE gives instructions concerning this
curtain before any specifications for the other coverings of the
building. GOD'S dwelling is first "…in the beginning, GOD". . . HE
begins from HIMSELF.

OMNISCIENT ALMIGHTY GOD begins HIS instructions for its building with
the ceiling. From the highest, GOD OMNIPOTENT comes down from Heaven,
to earth. Each covering represents the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, the
ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.

The Mishkan (Tabernacle) was to be of fine-twisted linen. Twined refers
to the work of bleaching the linen, then twisting it to force the water
out. Fine denotes spotlessness, innocence, and faultlessness as is
seen in MESSIAH, the ANOINTED ONE. [Matthew 27. 3 - 4; 1 Peter 1. 19; 2.
22; 2 Corinthians 5. 21] YESHUA ha'MASHIACH was righteous, loved
righteousness, and did right in all things. [Hebrews 1. 9] HE is the
"RIGHTEOUS BRANCH." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 53. 11; Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 23. 5;
Luke 23. 47; 1 John 2. 1]

This was the ceiling and completed the building. Without this covering
that Holy Structure would be open and unfinished. So, when we step into
the LORD YESHUA, HE makes us righteous. [1 Corinthians 1. 30] The
ANOINTED ONE completes us, for we are covered over by HIM and called
"the very righteousness of GOD in HIM." [2 Corinthians 5. 21]

The colors of this curtain are significant. First, the curtains
themselves are of White Linen. This tells of MESSIAH'S righteousness.
Blue is typical of Heaven, a serene color closely linked with gold,
which represents DIVINITY. [Exodus/Shemot 28. 6, 15; 39. 2, 5, 8] JESUS
came from Heaven. This is the first color, GOD is first. Scarlet is
last; it is the color significant of earth. "Adam" is literally
translated as "red earth." JESUS, the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, is the "LAST
ADAM." HE not only came from Heaven (blue), but HE came from earth
(red).

Purple is the blending in-between color, blending the red and blue
harmoniously. Purple is the royal colour and is the emblem of heavenly
and earthly glory. The LORD MESSIAH is as the purple, for HE is the
GOD-MAN (blue-red). HE is the ROYAL ONE (purple), the KING of the Jews
(red), and the KING of kings (blue). The EXALTED ONE said, "…with
cherubim of CUNNING WORK shall you make them." Cunning work is a weaving
which penetrates both sides. This represents workmanship of a more
skillful and costly kind than needlework. The SKILLFUL WEAVER is the
HOLY SPIRIT. The glory of GOD is hidden to all who stand outside the
LORD JESUS.

These elaborate curtains were to hide the sacred furniture and services
of the sanctuary from those on the outside. Only those who enter the
Tabernacle saw the glory, beauty exhibited by the colours and design of
the inner curtains, the beautiful gold-covered boards and furniture,
etc. GOD THE FATHER is only known in MESSIAH YESHUA. Here on the
inside, the skillful weaving is predominate in the PERSON, LIFE and
MINISTRY of the LORD JESUS. The cunning weave of the colors perfectly
blended together with the design of the cherubim all tell us of the
perfect work of the HOLY SPIRIT.

The "Curious Work" of GOD in this first curtain also speaks of the
ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT in the believer. [Ephesians 2. 10; 4. 24;
Colossians 3. 10] We are HIS workmanship and are identified with
MESSIAH in the cunning work. By the HOLY SPIRIT, we are born of HIM,
caught up in the curtain, inter-twined with CHRIST THE REDEEMER, woven
in HIM and partakers of the divine nature! The Mishkan curtain covered
the boards of the building. The GREAT ENABLER, the HOLY SPIRIT covers,
envelopes, submerges the church, and baptizes the believer with HIMSELF.
This is the great desire and promise of the HEAVENLY FATHER.

. . . to be continued

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat...may the ALMIGHTY ONE, WHO separates the
holy from the secular, forgive our sins and grant us a good week as we
share some of the sweetness of Sabbath with those around us! Keep
looking up, the best is yet to be; for the one who knows the WORD OF GOD
is well armed against the deceptions. When you know the TRUTH you know
The MASTER.
Tov Shavua — Have a good week!

Post  Admin Sun 12 Feb 2012, 8:46 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
O Lord our Mighty King, You gave us this great and holy seventh day in
love, for which we bless and praise You.

BE SEPARATE
"Come out from among them and be separate — says the LORD. Do not
touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a FATHER to
you, and you shall be MY sons and daughters— says the LORD
ALMIGHTY." [2 Corinthians 6. 17 - 18]

This SCRIPTURE is talking about false teachings. To our tragic
misfortune and affliction, the DOCTRINE of SEPARATION from "the unclean
thing" is neglected today by many who profess to be CHRIST-like- ones.
The Apostle Paul is warning against and earnestly urging us to "cleanse
ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting
holiness in the fear of GOD." [2 Corinthians 7. 1] Correspondingly in
the OLD COVENANT, the commandment is there— "Depart! Turn Away!
touch nothing unclean as you depart from there; KEEP PURE, as you go
forth from there, you who bear the vessels of the LORD!" [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 52. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The "vision of holiness" is lost among many large divisions of the
evangelical community; and people are loosing their will to survive.
Instead of contending (fighting) for the faith, they accommodate other
religions with vastly deviant doctrines and heretical or cultic
theological systems as the wave of the future floods over them.
Therefore, Evangelism becomes offensive and "defending the faith"
becomes contemptuous according to the religiously [in-] correct rule of
conduct. In reality, such accommodation is a new, more seductive form
of universality than the brand liberal religionists passed off on a
number of major denominations more than a half-century ago. This is a
concept of Humanism, communism, socialism, etc. which promotes a kind of
brotherhood through forfeiture, surrendering or relinquishment that does
not and cannot exist in reality for anyone.

Separation does not mean to discontinue any contact at all with
unbelievers "since then you would need to go out of the world." [1
Corinthians 5. 10] YESHUA, the LORD & KING commanded us to— "Go
into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." [Mark 16.
15] HE also prayed to the FATHER — "not that YOU should take them
out of the world, but that YOU should keep them from the evil one."
[John 17. 15]

The LORD GOD OF HOSTS does demand, however, that we are not to
compromise with unbelief or with the unclean thing. We are "born anew"
into the family of the ALMIGHTY & HOLY GOD through simple faith in the
PERSON and saving work of the LORD JESUS. The full manifestation and
fellowship of our relation with the HEAVENLY FATHER as HIS spiritual
sons and daughters is based on the profound principle of "separation
from all unbelief and filthiness of the flesh" with YESHUA ha'MASHIACH
as our PERFECT EXAMPLE. "For such a HIGH PRIEST was fitting for us, WHO
is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become
higher than the heavens." [Hebrews 7. 26]

It is one thing to have eternal life by faith (trust); it is quite
another thing to have abundant life by faith (confidence) . It is one
thing for you to become the righteousness of GOD in MESSIAH YESHUA —
and another for you to realize HIS righteous life is in you. And, to
realize the life you live in MESSIAH is compared to HIM living life
through you.

We are specifically warned to turn away from those who present false
doctrine while "having a form of godliness, but denying the power
thereof." [2 Timothy 3. 5] This is particularly applicable today for
those who attempt to accommodate the coarse unrefined attitude of modern
humanism and make it appear to be within the HOLY WRITTEN SCRIPTURES. We
are to be a holy, undefiled, separate, unique, set-apart,
extraordinarily special people to GOD MOST HIGH having the sweet
fragrance of HIS PRESENCE dwelling withIN us.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Welcome Sabbath, Queen of the week — enter, O bride, enter! We
praise and bless you O GOD, for lovingly and graciously giving YOUR Holy
Shabbat to all peoples. May it be YOUR will that our homes become a
sanctuary worthy of YOUR HOLY PRESENCE wherein YOUR NAME shall be
hallowed, that YOU may come and grant YOUR blessings and YOUR divine
grace be made manifest on this sacred day. We give ourselves over into
YOUR keeping, our hearts contrite, and our prayers made with a repentant
heart. May our praises to YOU, O LORD, be a sweet-smelling, fragrant
spice in YOUR nostrils.

Post  Admin Fri 10 Feb 2012, 10:20 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
As the world could not exist without the winds, so is it impossible for
the world to exist without Israel. [Talmud, Taan. 3b]

MY HOLY NAME
"So I will make MY HOLY NAME known in the midst of MY people Israel, and
never again will I allow MY HOLY NAME to be profaned. Then the nations
shall know that I am the LORD, the HOLY ONE in Israel." [Ezekiel
(Yehezke-El) 39. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The OLD COVENANT is replete using the wonderful name of GOD, QADOWSH
YEHOWAH — the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, most often used during the days of
the later kings of Judah. The strong emphasis on this particular name
is probably because of the prevalent unholiness of the nation of Israel
during those years — which finally culminated in the captivity of
Judah itself.

As stated, GOD repeatedly stresses HIS holiness: "For our shield belongs
to the LORD, and our KING to the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL." [Psalms (Tehillym)
89. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim; also see 7l. 22; 78. 41] "For Israel is not
forsaken (widowed), nor Judah, by his GOD, the LORD OF HOSTS, though
their land was filled with sin against the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL."
[Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 51. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im; also see 50. 29] "For
HE WHO made you will espouse you — HIS NAME is — LORD OF HOSTS
— The HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL will redeem you — HE is called GOD of
all the earth." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 54. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im; at least
27 times Isaiah describes GOD as the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL]

And, we are commanded to be like our CREATOR, "I am the LORD your GOD.
You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I
am holy." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 11. 44 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "As HE WHO
called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is
written — Be holy, for I am holy." [1 Peter 1. 15 - 16]

The final occurrence of this MAJESTIC NAME is especially emphasized as
the ANCIENT HERO in Israel given of the prophesied invasion of Israel
when Gog, the Prince of Rosh of the Land of Magog whom the LORD GOD is
against "will advance upon MY people Israel, like a cloud covering the
land. It will be in the latter days that I will bring you against MY
land, that the nations may know ME when, before their eyes, I manifest
MY holiness through you, O Gog!" [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 38. 16 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

At that time, says the LORD, "On that day, when Gog sets foot on the
soil of Israel — MY raging anger shall flare up. For I have decreed
in MY jealousy and in the fire of My blazing wrath I have spoken:
—Surely in that day a great earthquake shall befall the land of
Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the beasts of the
field, all creeping things that creep on the ground, and all men who are
on the face of the earth shall quake at MY PRESENCE. Mountains shall be
thrown down, the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall crumble
to the ground. — I will summon the sword against Gog throughout all
MY mountains— says the LORD GOD —and every man's sword will turn
against his brother. I will punish him with pestilence and bloodshed; I
pour torrential rain, great hailstones, and sulfurous fire down on him,
his hordes, and the many peoples with him. Thus I will magnify MY
greatness and MY holiness, and make MYSELF known in the eyes of many
nations. Then they shall know that I am the LORD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El)
38. 18 - 23 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

At last, the time is coming when the PRECIOUS NAME OF THE LORD will no
longer be polluted, corrupted or dishonored and "from that day forward
the House of Israel shall know that I the LORD am their GOD...Assuredly,
thus says the LORD GOD —I will now restore the captives of Jacob,
and have mercy on the whole House of Israel; and I will be zealous for
MY HOLY NAME... I will never again hide MY face from them; for I will
pour out MY SPIRIT upon the [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 39. 22, 25, 29 Tanakh,
Nevi'im House of Israel — declares the LORD GOD." ]

Such a glorious day that will be, when GOD cleanses us from all our
iniquities, when the HOLY ONE is revered in all nations, and in truth we
are HIS holy people.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Be gracious to us ALMIGHTY LORD GOD that we may understand and fulfill
the Teaching of YOUR WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may
cling to YOUR commandments. Unite our hearts to love and revere YOU and
to learn YOUR WORDS and wisdom. LORD YOU are my PRAISE, my STRENGTH,
my FORTRESS, my REFUGE -- in days of affliction and at all times.
May you have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE is the LORD of your life;
oh, return to HIM with your whole heart. May each of you be delivered
from trouble and harm, or strengthened through it. Heal us O LORD, make
us righteous in YOUR sight.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Today, Wednesday 08, January 2012, is "Tu B'Shevat {Tu (15) B' (of)
Shevat (Jewish month)}" — the Jewish Holiday of the Trees
established for calculating the age of the tree for the purpose of
tithing fruit. [Leviticus/Vayikra 19. 23-25 states that fruit from trees
may not be eaten during the first three years; the fourth year's fruit
is for GOD and the fruit can be eaten after that.]
It is a time to recall our responsibility toward the environment —
our sacred obligation to future generations to safeguard and protect the
gifts of the MOST HIGH GOD'S creation. It is traditional to eat fruit
native to the Land of Israel on Tu B'Shevat. It is a time to celebrate
new life and new beginnings — cultural and physical. The almond
tree (shkediyah), with lush white flowers, is the first to bloom each
spring and this popular holiday heralding the coming of new year for
trees. Some people plant trees on this day, and many Jewish children
collect money for planting trees for Israel at this time of year. The
MIDRASH teaches, "Trees were created for man's
companionship. "
Tu B'Shevat is a festival that recalls the praise to the MOST HOLY LORD
GOD for the Land of Israel, for on this day the strength of the soil of
the land is renewed. With reference to the fruits of the trees and the
produce of the soil, the TORAH praises the Land of Israel: "For the LORD
your GoD is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams and springs
and fountains issuing from plain and hill; a land of wheat and barley,
of vines, figs, and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey; a
land where you may eat food without scarcity, where you will lack
nothing; a land whose rocks are iron and from whose hills you can mine
copper. When you have eaten your fill, give thanks to the LORD your GoD
for the good land which HE has given you. Take care lest you forget the
LORD your GOD and fail to keep HIS Commandments, HIS Rules, and HIS
Laws, which I enjoin upon you today." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 8. 7-11
Tanakh, Torah] The TORAH has compared man to a tree of the field —
therefore, this day also recalls the DIVINE Judgment upon man.

GARDEN OF RENOWN
"I shall establish for them a GARDEN OF RENOWN (YESHUA, the ANOINTED
ONE); they shall no more be consumed by famine in the land, nor bear
again the shame and taunts of the Gentiles." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 34.
29 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Shem" is the Hebrew rendering for "renown (more frequently translated
name which implies honor, fame, glory)." Shem was also the name of
Noah's faithful son. It was from him (Shem), that the "PLANT OF RENOWN"
came forth. "Blessed be the LORD, the GOD of Shem." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 9. 26 Tanakh, Torah]

This "GARDEN OF RENOWN " is the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, the HOLY ONE OF
ISRAEL, and this promise is the climax of one of the great MESSIANIC
prophecies of the OLD COVENANT assuring Israel that her MESSIAH would
deliver them some day from their long exile and bondage. ALMIGHTY GOD'S
servant David would again be their single shepherd to tend them; there
would be "rains that bring blessings" and they would again be the people
of the MIGHTY GOD OF JACOB. [Ezekiel/Yehezke- El 34. 23, 26, 30]

Nevertheless, the primary meaning centers, as it should, on this "PLANT
OF THE NAME" — the MOST HIGH ONE WHOSE NAME would be implanted
firmly and permanently in the very land HE had created. Israel, the
place of HIS choosing. JESUS CHRIST THE LORD is the "TRUE VINE" [John
15. 1] WHO will provide the true nourishment for all HIS people forever.

The LORD YESHUA "has grown up, by HIS (YEHOWAH'S) favour, as a
TENDER PLANT, like a TREE TRUNK out of arid ground." [Isaiah (Yeshayah)
53. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] MESSIAH would appear first as a HUMBLE SPROUT
out of a dead stump. "A ROD shall grow out of the stem of Jesse, and a
BRANCH…out of his roots" for our iniquities. But then, HE shall
"see HIS offspring, and prolong HIS days, that through HIM the LORD'S
purpose might prosper" [Isaiah/Yeshayah) 11. 1; 53. 10] and become our
GARDEN OF RENOWN forever. "HE shall be like a TREE planted beside
streams of water, which yields its fruit in season; WHOSE foliage never
withers or fades; and whatever HE produces thrives, and prosper
forevermore. " [Psalms (Tehillym) 1. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Without a doubt, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the TREE OF LIFE, the TRUE VINE
the STEADFAST PLANT, our CELEBRATED MAGNIFICENT GARDEN OF RENOWN, in
fact, HE is EVERYTHING wonderful.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation.
May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed in the days of
our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel, Amen. May YOU
be blessed forever, even to all eternity. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be
blessed, praised & honored, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above
all else. Blessed are YOU beyond all blessings & hymns, praises &
consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen. May peace abundant
descend from heaven with life for us and all Israel, Amen.
Stay alert for such a time as this. . . keep watching and praying.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD does not ask the impossible of us — only the incredibly
difficult — so we will know that our strength is in HIM alone.

NEW BEGINNINGS
"In the seventh month (Tishri), on the seventeenth day of the month, the
(Noah's) ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 8. 4 Tanakh, Torah]

Except for Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives, and those
animals the LORD GOD brought aboard the ark. . . all the populations of
both man and animals on the earth was completely destroyed. But, Noah
found favour in the eyes of the Lord SUPREME. When the ark came to rest
in the mountains of Ararat it was as though there was a new beginning on
earth.

Many years later in the land of Egypt the SOVEREIGN ONE told Moses and
Aaron: "This month (Nisan) shall mark for you the beginning of the
months; it shall be the first month of the year for you." [Exodus
(Shemot) 12. 2 Tanakh, Torah] {"In the first month, which is the month
of Nisan…" — Esther/Ester 3. 7} This timing was the culmination
of the series of plagues sent upon the Egyptians. ALMIGHTY GOD would
deliver the Israelites from their bondage as HE sent out the Angel of
Death to pass over the houses that had the blood rightly applied.

This passing over was reckoned as "between the evenings" of the 14th of
Nisan (in the Jewish calendar each new day begins at sundown) when the
lambs were to be sacrificed. "Now you shall keep watch over it until
the fourteenth day of this month; then all the assembled congregation of
the Israelites shall slaughter it at twilight." [Exodus (Shemot) 12. 6
Tanakh, Torah]

YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, the PIERCED REDEEMER died as the PERFECT SACRIFICIAL
LAMB, for HE was without blemish. The LORD JESUS was crucified on
Passover, the 14th of Nisan. However, HE was in the grave for three
days, but arose victoriously on the 17th day of the month, the Feast of
Firstfruits.

Thus, the HEAVENLY FATHER arranged for HIS "NEW BEGINNING" of the whole
world in HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA. Even though
the Jewish New Year known as "Rosh ha'Shannah (means: head of the year)"
is celebrated on the 1st of Tishri — the seventh month (fall season)
. . . when CREATOR GOD established the "Passover" — HE also
instructed Moses to make "Nisan" (spring time), "the first of months of
the year for you." [Exodus (Shemot) 12. 2 Tanakh, Torah]

As with times, days, and seasons, the GREAT & MIGHTY LORD OF HOSTS can
make changes in our own individual lives. The LORD GOD OF ISRAEL can do
what no other power can do! HE alone is the LOVING ETERNAL GOD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
"Simcha Shel Mitzvah (joy in doing good)" The good performed out of a
sense of requirement is not as meaningful as one performed out of desire
and with enjoyment.

Post  Admin Tue 07 Feb 2012, 11:38 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Smart is when you believe only half of what you hear. Brilliance is when
you know which half to believe. Wise is when you believe ALMIGHTY GOD.

COMPROMISING & TOLERANCE
"Assuredly, this is the declaration of the SOVEREIGN, the LORD OF HOSTS,
the MIGHTY ONE OF ISRAEL: —Ah, I will get satisfaction from MY foes;
I will wreak vengeance on MY enemies! I will turn MY hand against you,
and purge out your dross as with lye in a crucible, and take away all
your alloy and slag." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 1. 24 - 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

I am certain that the MIGHTY OMNISCIENT RIGHTEOUS JUDGE of all ages has
a special hell for fence-sitters. . . at least HE truly will judge them
accordingly. Compromising (fence-setting) may be a survival technique
that people have developed so they do not offend those who's beliefs
differ from their own.

The LORD GOD is good, longsuffering, and HIS mercy endures forever to
those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the HOUSE OF THE LORD.
[Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 33. 11] Although ALMIGHTY GOD is compassionate and
merciful, HE will not tolerate one who's mind-set is to sin, "As the
LORD once delighted in making you prosperous and many, so will the LORD
will now delight in causing you to perish and in wiping you out; you
shall be torn from the land that you are about to enter and possess."
[Deuteronomy (Devarim) 28. 64 Tanakh, Torah]

The LORD GOD ETERNAL alone is the UNIQUE MEASURE and PERSONIFICATION OF
ABSOLUTE TRUTH. HE only is the CREATOR & SUSTAINER of everything in
the heavens and the earth; and "in HIS hand, HE controls your life
breath and all your ways." [Daniel (Danyel) 5. 23 - 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim;
also see Job/Iyob 12. 10]

Paul the apostle warned against compromising the SACRED SCRIPTURES or
tolerating any new concepts or re-defining the WORD OF GOD. "But there
are some who trouble you and want to pervert the GOSPEL OF CHRIST. But
even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than
what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said
before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you
than what you have received, let him be accursed." [Galatians 1. 7 - 9]
"For if he who comes preaches another JESUS whom we have not preached,
or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a
different gospel which you have not accepted — you may well put up
with it!" [2 Corinthians 11. 4]

When we tolerate what the ETERNAL LIVING GOD does not tolerate, what the
HOLY BIBLE calls sin or iniquity — or compromise what the LORD
SUPREME says is true for the sake of peace, we are falling short of the
work we have been responsibly entrusted to do by the LORD YESHUA. Paul
teaches that we are to "pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love,
patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal
life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good
confession in the presence of many witnesses... I urge you in the sight
of GOD WHO gives life to all things...keep this commandment without
spot, blameless until our LORD JESUS CHRIST appears." [1 Timothy 6. 11 -
15]

"If it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this
day whom you are going to serve...But I and my household will serve the
LORD, ELOHEY OF ISRAEL." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 24. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Who are you serving?

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for YOUR WRITTEN WORD, it is our
exceedingly great joy and our life-giving crown. Keep us ever grateful
and grant us YOUR perfect peace. Amen

Post  Admin Mon 06 Feb 2012, 10:59 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A man's service for the LORD GOD is sincere when he wants no
publicity for it.

KNOWN OF GOD
"O LORD, YOU have examined me and know me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 1
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The most awesome (frightening, majestic, impressive, imposing,
inspiring, convicting) attribute of the ETERNAL ONE is that HE knows
everything about us. The OMNISCIENT CREATOR has searched (penetrated)
us and knows (understands) us. Since ALMIGHTY GOD is both omnipotent
(all-powerful) and omniscient (all-knowing) , it follows that nothing
escapes HIS conscious knowledge about us. HE observes our ordinary
activities and knows our innermost thoughts. "When I sit down or stand
up YOU know it; YOU discern my thoughts from afar." [Psalms (Tehillym)
139. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "YOU observe my walking and reclining, and are
familiar with all my ways." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word "yada" is translated familiar and suggests that the HIGH
& LOFTY LORD actually sees the formation of the words on our tongue
before we begin to speak them. "There is not a word on my tongue but
that YOU, O LORD, know it well." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 4 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] That means we are transparent to HIM; we cannot deceive the
MOST HIGH GOD in any way. The ALMIGHTY ONE knows what I am going to
think; I cannot hide anything from HIM. The BELOVED CREATOR knows more
then we know about ourselves, and those things we won't even admit to
ourselves.

Furthermore, the SUPREME LORD is everywhere around each one of us
wherever we are or could be. "Where can I escape from YOUR SPIRIT? Where
can I flee from YOUR PRESENCE? If I ascend to heaven, YOU are there; if
I descend to Sheol, YOU are there too. If I take wing with the dawn to
come to rest on the western horizon, even there YOUR hand will be
guiding me, YOUR right hand will be holding me fast." [Psalms (Tehillym)
139. 7 - 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] There is no escape from the PRESENCE of
the ALMIGHTY; HE is wherever we go.

The Apostle Paul once perceived, "For in HIM we live, and move, and have
our being." [Acts 17. 28] This very intimate and complete knowledge
about us is what makes salvation of the LOVING LORD OF HOSTS, the GREAT
GOD OF ISRAEL such a marvelous matter, "for when we were still without
strength, in due time the LORD JESUS died for the ungodly. For scarcely
for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone
would even dare die. But GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love toward us, in
that while we were still sinners, MESSIAH died for us." [Romans 5. 6 -
8]

How great the KING OF THE UNIVERSE must have loved us to create us in
HIS IMAGE; yet even greater love did the LORD GOD OF JACOB show us in
making us conscious that we are created in the DIVINE IMAGE. . . then,
by HIMSELF, dying to redeem what HE so loved! Such wonderful,
extravagant, amazing love!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
May your ever-growing faith in the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH grant you the
privilege to witness and experience the marvelous miracle of being
delivered from the yoke of slavery to sin and all snares that entangle
you to rob you of your integrity as a child of the KING. For the LORD
your GOD will save those found worthy from the hands of the wicked and
rescue you from the clutches of the violent as you stay rooted and
grounded in HIM.

Post  Admin Sun 05 Feb 2012, 9:54 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The only reason some people listen to reason is to gain time for
rebuttal.

SUN-SHIELD-GRACE- GLORY
"For the LORD GOD is SUN ("YINNON") and SHIELD; the LORD bestows grace
and glory; HE does not withhold HIS bounty from those who walk without
blame." [Psalms (Tehillym) 84. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In the innumerable mercies of our RIGHTEOUS LORD GOD, HE will not
forsake us in our wilderness journey, nor will HE depart from us day or
night. HE has sent us HIS HOLY SPIRIT to instruct us and never
withholds any good thing from us that HE may give us according to the
riches of HIS glory to strengthen us. "And my GOD shall supply all your
need according to HIS riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS." [Philippians 4.
19]

"But to you who revere MY NAME the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ("TSEDEQ") shall
rise with healing in HIS Wings." [Malachi (Malakhi) 4. 2 Tanakh,
Nevi'im] This prophecy was completed in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, when the
woman with the issue of blood touched the hem (wings/fringe on the
Prayer Shawl/Tallit) of the LORD'S garment, for healing was immediately
granted to her.

"Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and attain knowledge of
GOD. For the LORD grants wisdom; knowledge and discernment are by HIS
decree. HE reserves sound wisdom for the upright and is a SHIELD for
those who live blamelessly, guarding the paths of justice, protecting
the way of HIS saints. You will then understand what is right, just,
equitable — every good path." [Proverbs (Mishle) 2. 5 - 9 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

"And the WORD became FLESH and dwelt among us, and we beheld HIS glory,
the glory as of the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the FATHER, full of grace and
truth." [John 1. 14] We have been justified by faith in the LORD
JESUS, "to the praise of the glory of HIS grace, by which HE has made us
accepted in the BELOVED." [Ephesians 1. 6]

"Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; HIS greatness cannot be
fathomed. The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and
great in mercy. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger
and abounding in kindness. The LORD is good to all, and HIS mercy is
upon all HIS works. HE fulfills the wishes of those who fear HIM; HE
hears their cry and delivers them. The LORD watches over all who love
HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 145. 3, 8 - 9, 19 - 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
Knowing this, we can be confident and completely content in perfect
peace, even in this world of havoc and turmoil.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Bidding farewell to Shabbat with the Havdalah Service and wishing
abundant blessings to our family of friends. Remember, GOD'S answers are
wiser than our prayers. Stay alert for such a time as this...keep
watching and praying! The LORD is my STRENGTH, my FORTRESS, my REFUGE in
the day of affliction…all our trust and hope is in HIM.
Tov Shavua — have a good week as you spread the sweet fragrance of
the LORD & MASTER in the lives of those you touch daily.

Post  Admin Sat 04 Feb 2012, 10:44 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When the out-look is destitute, try the UP-look.

DECEIT DESTROYED
"For YOU are not a GOD (EL) wHO desires wickedness; evil cannot abide
with YOU; wanton men cannot endure in YOUR sight. YOU detest all
evildoers; YOU destroy those who speak lies; murderous, deceitful men
the LORD abhors." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word "mirmah" literally means false, guile, subtle,
treachery, fraud, deceitful. The ALMIGHTY ONE is JUST & HOLY and HE
hates deceit in all forms. HIS justice demands punishment for whoever
will not accept HIS merciful sacrifice for sin. Deceivers are good for
nothing, like salt that has lost its savor. The LORD GOD has no
pleasure in this type of person.

The evil and the wicked "cannot abide with YOU." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 4
Tanakh, Kethuvim] The word abide or dwell can also be translated as to
stand in awe. "Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the
inhabitants of the world stand in dread (awe, trepidation, fear) of
HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This is the only
acceptable response to the LORD GOD, CREATOR of heaven and earth. Those
who have received the LOVING CREATOR'S merciful grace can but bow in
humble gratitude in the magnetic PRESENCE of his RIGHTEOUS MAKER. The
wicked and evil person has no intimate relationship with the BLESSED
REDEEMER, but one day to HIM— "every knee shall bow." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 45. 23 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The boastful shall not stand in YOUR sight; YOU hate all workers of
iniquity." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] A fool rages and
boasts of his own deeds, but he will not have any standing before
OMNIPOTENT GOD WHOSE justice requires one-hundred percent holiness. And
for those who work iniquity either systematically or habitually, the
LORD pronounces HIS justice on these religious pretenders. HE will say
to them, "I do not know you depart from ME, all you workers of
iniquity." And, "there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." [Luke
13. 27 - 28]

BIBLICAL hatred has no room for personalities. A hateful person is the
same as one who opposes the LORD OF GLORY. To hate the HIGH & LOFTY
MERCIFUL CREATOR is to be HIS enemy; and to hate TRUE & LIVING GOD is to
find oneself outside HIS mercy. But all who fear HIS NAME can say —
"I, through YOUR abundant love and mercy, will come into YOUR House; I
bow down in awe and worship toward YOUR Holy Temple." [Psalms (Tehillym)
5. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim] On the other hand, "there shall by no means
enter it (the New Heaven & Earth) anything that defiles, or causes an
abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the LAMB'S BOOK
OF LIFE." [Revelation 21. 27] "And you shall know that I, the LORD
your GOD (YEHOWAH ELOHEYKM), dwell in Zion, MY Holy Mount. Then
Jerusalem shall be holy; nevermore shall strangers pass through her
again." [Joel (Yoel) 3. 17 Tanakh, Nevi'im] More and more, I long
for the righteousness of CHRIST, my BELOVED REDEEMER.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Welcome Shabbat! – Come, let us go out to meet the Sabbath Queen,
Sabbath presence, let us welcome. O FATHER in Heaven, in YOUR great
love YOU appointed for us a day of rest, that in YOUR PRESENCE we may
regain that freedom of the soul which comes through obedience to YOUR
commandments. Quickened by YOUR spirit, may we learn how to ennoble the
things of earth by sanctifying them to YOUR service. We honour and
praise the LORD YESHUA, the BLESSED ONE, WHO separates the sacred from
the mundane and gives true Sabbath peace and rest. May peace abundant
descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel, Amen
Enjoy a blessed and peace-filled Sabbath.

Post  Admin Fri 03 Feb 2012, 7:04 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If a man must conduct himself humbly before a king of flesh and blood,
how much more should he before the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD, CREATOR OF THE
UNIVERSE!

MEMORIAL STONES
"These [stones] shall be a sign among you: in time to come when your
children ask— What is the meaning of these stones for you? — You
shall tell them — The waters of the Jordan were cut off because of
the Ark of the LORD'S Covenant; when it passed through the Jordan River,
the waters of the Jordan were cut off.— And so these stones shall
serve the people of Israel as a memorial for all time." [Joshua
(Yehoshua) 4. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The LORD ETERNAL spoke to Joshua, when all the people had crossed over
the Jordan River, to have twelve men, one man from every tribe, take a
stone from the place where the priests' feet stood firm and make a
memorial where they lodged. [Joshua/Yehoshua 4. 1 - 5] "Joshua also set
up twelve stones in the middle of the Jordan, at the spot where the feet
of the priests bearing the Ark of the Covenant had stood; and they
remained there to this day." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 4. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

From the time the Israelites came out of Egypt and crossed into the
Promised Land, this "place of the crossing" has been a strategic
location throughout Israel's history. This area is called "Beit Barah
(House of the Ford)."

GOD MOST HIGH used Ehud, the left-handed Benjamite, to deliver Israel in
the days of the Judges. Ehud killed the king of Moab with a dagger,
then delivered Israel at Beit-Barah. "Follow me closely — he said
—for the LORD has delivered your enemies, the Moabites, into your
hands.— They followed him down and seized the fords of the Jordan
against the Moabites; they let no one cross." [Judges (Shofetim) 3. 28
Tanakh, Nevi'im] And Israel killed about 10,000 Moabites. Also, at
the command of the LORD GOD OF ISRAEL, Gideon defeated the Midianites
calling the children of Ephraim to seize Beit-Barah and the Jordan.
[Judges/Shofetim 6 & 7]

In the NEW COVENANT, this is the area where John the Baptizer made the
statement, "Bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to
yourselves— We have Abraham as our father. —For I say to you
that GOD is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones."
[Matthew 3. 8 - 9] The stones John was referring to were the "stones
of memorial" at Beit-Barah. John witnessed to the priests and Levites,
the Pharisees and Sadducees that he was the "voice of one crying in the
wilderness" to make straight the way of the LORD, and told them that THE
ONE coming after him "is preferred before me, WHOSE sandal strap I am
not worthy to loose." [John 1. 19 - 28] And, John baptized JESUS, the
BREAD OF DELIVERANCE, in the Jordan River at the location called
Bethabara (Beit-Barah) . [John 1. 29 - 34]

Most assuredly, the ALMIGHTY ONE, the HOPE OF ISRAEL has a great love
for the "Land" as well as the "People." The LORD YESHUA will take away
the "curse from the land" just as well as HE takes away the "curse of
sin and damnation" from those who come to HIM for salvation. We are
truly most blessed!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Our prayer for you, is that they have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE
is the LORD; and that they return to HIM with their whole heart that
they may be delivered from trouble and harm they are receiving from the
various kingdoms of the earth; and are being reproached and are a
byword, being taunted and cursed in the places they have been driven.
Heal us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight, Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
What you are is GOD'S gift to you, what you make of yourself is your
gift to GOD.

THE TRUE GOD
"Whatever is by order of the GOD OF HEAVEN must be carried out
diligently for the HOUSE OF THE GOD OF HEAVEN, else wrath will come upon
the king and his sons." [Ezra 7. 23 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Artaxerxes, the emperor of Persia, gave this decree to Ezra the scribe
as another of the surprising acknowledgments in HOLY SCRIPTURE by pagan
idolaters that the TRUE GOD is "the GOD OF HEAVEN." Abimelech, of the
Philistines, and Pharaoh in Egypt also were compelled to acknowledge the
ONE TRUE & LIVING LORD GOD. [Genesis/Bereshith 21. 22; 41. 38] Balaam,
the false prophet of Mesopotamia, recognized that the LORD OF ISRAEL was
omnipotent. "I have no power to speak freely. I can utter only the word
that GOD puts into my mouth, that I must speak." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 22.
38 Tanakh, Torah]

Nebuchadnezzar, the mighty king of Babylon spoke these words, "I bless
the MOST HIGH and praise and glorify the EVER-LIVING ONE, WHOSE dominion
is an everlasting dominion and WHOSE kingdom endures throughout the
generations. All the inhabitants of the earth are of no account. HE does
as HE wishes with the host of heaven, and with the inhabitants of the
earth. There is none to stay HIS hand or say to HIM — What have YOU
done?" [Daniel (Danyel) 4. 31 - 32 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The nations and the leaders of the world were and still are guilty of a
dangerous and foolish sin; they "changed the glory of the incorruptible
GOD into an image made like corruptible man...birds and four-footed
beasts and creeping things" preferring to worship and serve the creature
more than the marvelous CREATOR. Such a person is without excuse,
inasmuch as creation itself reveals the MASTER DESIGNER. "For since the
creation of the world HIS invisible attributes are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are made, even HIS eternal power and
GODhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew
GOD, they did not glorify HIM as GOD, nor were thankful, but became
futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Professing to be wise, they became fools. Therefore GOD also gave them
up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their
bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of GOD for the lie, and
worshiped and served the creature rather than the CREATOR, WHO is
blessed forever. Amen" [Romans 1. 20 - 25] They conceived a form of
religion replacing the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD with nature, denying any real
creation, and this led to idolatry of worshipping nature and forces in
nature, and setting up various gods and goddesses.

However, in their hearts they know that there really is a "GOD OF
HEAVEN" WHO created all things and WHO will someday come in great wrath
against all who reject HIM. Those who discard and refuse HIS GRACE are
left with HIS LAW.

"For all the gods of the peoples are mere idols; but the LORD GOD made
the heavens." [Psalms (Tehillym) 96. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The LORD will
show HIMSELF terrible against them, reducing all the gods of the earth
to nothing; all the coastlands of the nations shall bow down to HIM and
worship — every man in his own home." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 2. 11
Tanakh, Nevi'im] Blessed be the HOLY NAME OF YEHOWAH now and forever
more! Amen & Amen!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
May the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL bless you abundantly. Magnified and
sanctified be the GLORIOUS NAME of the LORD GOD in the world which HE
created according to HIS will. May HE establish HIS Kingdom during our
life and during our days, and during the life of all the House of
Israel, even speedily and at a near time, Amen.

Post  Admin Wed 01 Feb 2012, 2:32 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Failure is only postponed success as long as courage coaches ambition.
[Herbert Kaufman]

CHOICE FOR GLORY
"How can you say — We are wise, and we possess the Law of the LORD?
— Assuredly, for naught has the pen of the scribe laboured working
falsehood. The wise shall be put to shame, shall be dismayed and caught;
see, they reject the WORD OF THE LORD, so their wisdom amounts to
nothing." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 8. 8 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH prayed, "I thank YOU, FATHER, LORD OF
HEAVEN AND EARTH, that YOU have hidden these things from the wise and
prudent and revealed them to babes. Even so, FATHER, for so it seemed
good in YOUR sight." [Luke 10. 21] "GOD has chosen the foolish things
of the world to put to shame the wise, and GOD has chosen the weak
things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty." [1
Corinthians 1. 27] The HOLY ONE judges all who reject HIS WORD;
furthermore they are unworthy of everlasting life.

"But only in this should one glory: that he is earnestly devoted to
understand and know ME. For I the LORD act with lovingkindness, justice,
and righteous equity in the world; for in these I delight — declares
the LORD." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Yet indeed I
also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of CHRIST
JESUS my LORD, for WHOM I have suffered the loss of all things, and
count them as rubbish, that I may gain CHRIST." [Philippians 3. 8]

The LORD knows those who fear HIM, HIS eye is ever on those who
confidently delight in HIS mercy. The ALMIGHTY ONE will deliver their
soul from death. By virtue of HIS great goodness to us, we rejoice
continually in HIS HOLY NAME wherein we place our trust and hope.
"Blessed is the nation whose GOD is the LORD, the people HE has chosen
to be HIS OWN inheritance. The LORD looks down from heaven; HE sees all
mankind. From HIS dwelling-place HE gazes on all the inhabitants of the
earth — HE WHO fashions the hearts of them all, WHO discerns all
their doings." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 12 - 15 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

We should earnestly pray for the SPIRIT OF WISDOM and revelation in the
knowledge of the LORD JESUS that our understanding be enlightened, and
"that you may know what is the hope of HIS calling, what are the riches
of the glory of HIS inheritance, and the exceeding greatness of HIS
power toward us who believe" [Ephesians 1. 18 - 19] The words of
wisdom we speak are from the LIVING GOD, "the hidden wisdom which GOD
ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this
age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the LORD OF
GLORY. But as it is written — Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor
has it entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared
for those who love HIM. But GOD has revealed them to us through HIS
SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep (height,
intense wisdom, enormous extent, hidden secrets) things of GOD." [1
Corinthians 2. 7 - 10] Don't quote one verse only, keep reading to
complete the thought which, this case in point, states: "GOD has
revealed them to us through HIS SPIRIT." Even the OLD COVENANT supports
this truth, "The secret things belong to the LORD our GOD, but those
things which are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that
we may do all the words of this law." [Deuteronomy/ Devarim 29. 29]

"Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct
that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom." [James 3. 13] The
one who is approved by the LORD ETERNAL is commended, not the one who
praises himself. "He who glories, let him glory in the LORD" [2
Corinthians 10. 18] That is giving tribute and honor to the ONE to WHOM
all praise is due.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
With great love YOU have loved us, O our GOD, and with exceeding
compassion YOU have borne with us. Our fathers believed and trusted in
YOU; therefore you taught them the laws of life, and showed them the
ways of wisdom. We implore YOU, O MERCIFUL FATHER, to grant us
discernment, that we may understand and fulfill all the TEACHINGS of
YOUR WORD. Make us gladly obedient to YOUR commandments and fill our
hearts with love and reverence for YOU. In YOU we put our trust; we
rejoice and delight in YOUR help, for with YOU alone is salvation, and
peace in the soul of man. YOU have called us as teachers of YOUR Law;
YOU have chosen us for a holy mission to mankind; therefore do we
joyfully lift up our voices and proclaim YOUR magnificence. Praised are
YOU, O GOD, WHO has chosen us in love. We give praised to YOUR HOLY
NAME and thank YOU for JESUS, our REDEEMER.

Post  Admin Tue 31 Jan 2012, 9:19 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The cure of a fool is not in our hands.

DREADFUL DAY OF THE LORD
"Behold, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before the coming of the
greatly awesome and dreadfully terrible DAY OF THE LORD." [Malachi
(Malakhi) 4. 5 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This fearsome theme of the DAY OF THE LORD will be a great and dreadful
day. This phrase occurs repeatedly throughout HOLY WRIT to remind us
over and over again that although GOD is merciful and long-suffering, HE
will not remain silent forever. Man's day will end soon, and the DAY OF
THE LORD will come.

Day of the LORD in the OLD COVENANT "Woe! you who wish for the DAY OF
THE LORD! Why should you want the DAY OF THE LORD? It shall be darkness
not light!" [Amos (Amus) 5. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Before the great and
terrible DAY OF THE LORD comes, I will set a sign in the sky and on
earth; blood and fire and pillars of smoke; the sun shall turn into
darkness and the moon into blood." [Joel (Yoel) 2. 31 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
"The GREAT DAY OF THE LORD is approaching, approaching most swiftly. The
DAY OF THE LORD is faster than a runner, fleeter than a warrior. It is
bitter! There a warrior shrieks! That Day is a day of wrath, a day of
trouble and distress, a day of calamity and desolation, a day of
darkness and deep gloom, a day of thick dark dense clouds." [Zephaniah
(Tsefanyah) 1. 14 - 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Lo! the DAY OF THE LORD is
coming with pitiless fury and wrath and fierce anger, to make the earth
a desolation, to wipe out the sinners upon it." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 13. 9
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Day of the LORD in the NEW COVENANT Luke, quoting Peter's statement from
Joel/Yoel bearing witness declares— "I will show wonders in heaven
above and signs in the earth beneath: Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before
the coming of the great and awesome DAY OF THE LORD. And it shall come
to pass that whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."
[Acts 2. 19 - 21] "But the DAY OF THE LORD will come as a thief in the
night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the
elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that
are in it will be burned up." [2 Peter 3. 10; 1 Thessalonians 5. 2]
"The LORD knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to
reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment." [2 Peter
2. 9] "(YESHUA) will also confirm you to the end, that you may be
blameless in the DAY OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST." [1 Corinthians 1. 7 - 9]

It is obvious that the DAY OF THE LORD is coming and it will be a time
of terrible judgment on all who have rejected or ignored ALMIGHTY GOD
WHO created them. But GOD'S faithful believers can take great comfort,
for then — "tHE LORD shall be KING over all the earth. And in that
DAY the LORD alone shall be worshiped and shall be invoked by HIS TRUE
NAME." [Zechariah (Tsefanyah) 14. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

I have a longing in my heart to see HIM, look upon HIS face, and be
forevermore with my GOD & KING; the ONE WHO saved me by HIS glorious
grace. What a Glorious Day that will be!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Our prayer for each of you is for the grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST to
be with your spirit.
My FATHER of mercies, MY PRAISE, do good in YOUR favor unto Zion; build
the walls of Jerusalem. For in YOU alone do we trust, O KING, high and
exalted GOD, LORD of worlds. Rise up, O LORD and YOUR enemies shall be
scattered, and they that hate YOU shall flee before YOU. For out of
Zion shall go forth the Law, and the WORD OF THE LORD from Jerusalem.

Post  Admin Mon 30 Jan 2012, 10:12 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD is sovereign and worthy of worship in whatever HE chooses to do.

FOREVER ENDURING
"YEHOWAH abides (Hebrew: yashab — endure, continues, remains)
forever; HE has prepared HIS Throne for judgment; it is HE WHO judges
the world in righteousness, and rules the peoples in equity
(uprightness, justice)." [Psalms (Tehillym) 9. 8 – 9 Tanakh,
Kethuvim]

This world will eventually pass away. "YOU, LORD, in the beginning laid
the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of YOUR hands.
They will perish, but You remain; and they will all grow old like a
garment; like a cloak YOU will fold them up, and they will be changed.
But YOU are the same, and YOUR years will not fail." [Hebrews 1. 10 -
12]

But GOD, the EVERLASTING LIGHT is eternal and shall endure forever and
HIS glory will remain. "May the glory of the LORD endure forever."
[Psalms (Tehillym) 104. 31 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "YOURS is the kingdom and
the power and the glory forever. Amen" [Matthew 6. 13]

The great and marvelous name of the LORD will never change. "HIS NAME
shall endure forever; HIS NAME shall continue as long as the sun."
[Psalms/Tehillym 72. 17] Before the sun was, HIS NAME YINNON (the SUN).
And, HIS righteousness never changes. [Psalms/Tehillym 112. 3] There
are blessings in abundance for those who fear GOD.

Psalms 136 declares in each verse the enduring mercies of YEHOWAH.
GOD'S perfect righteousness will last forever, thus they are ever
enduring. How can we help but continually thank and extol HIM
throughout eternity.

"Forever, O LORD, YOUR WORD is settled in heaven. YOUR faithfulness
endures to all generations. " [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 89 – 90a
Tanakh, Kethuvim] May our eyes be opened by YOUR HOLY SPIRIT to see the
wondrous things that are recorded for us in YOUR Law. For it is by the
WORD we are saved enduring to the end. [Matthew 24. 13 - 14] "But the
WORD OF THE LORD endures forever...Now this is the WORD which by the
GOSPEL was preached to you." [1 Peter 1. 25] "Heaven and earth will
pass away, but MY words will by no means pass away." [Matthew 24. 35]

Because the HOLY ONE, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith lives forever,
so shall we. "HIS seed shall endure forever." [Psalms/Tehillym 89. 37]
"Raise your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath. Though
the heavens should melt away like smoke, and the earth will wear out
like a garment, and its inhabitants die out like gnats; MY salvation
will be forever, and MY righteousness will not be abolished." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 51. 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The world is passing away, and the
lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John 2.
17]

O LORD, be my FORTRESS and my REFUGE, feed me with YOUR knowledge and
understanding that I may endure with perseverance and receive YOUR
blessing.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
GOD'S Mercy Remembered: "I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD
and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed
on us, and the great goodness toward the House of Israel, which HE has
bestowed on them according to HIS mercies, according to the multitude of
HIS lovingkindnesses. since the beginning of the world men have not
heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any GOD besides
YOU, who acts for the one who waits for HIM. YOU meet him who rejoices
and does righteousness, who remembers YOU in YOUR ways."
[Isaiah/Yeshayah 63.7; 64:4-5]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY - Page 19 Empty Re: Delrifkah: Thought FOR TODAY

Post  Admin Sun 29 Jan 2012, 9:04 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you perceive something so important to be willing to sacrifice your
own life for it, then your life has weight and purpose and direction.
Because, until you know what you are willing to die for, you have not
yet begun to live.

TWENTY-TWO COMMANDMENTS
"You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night
nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us
watch and be sober. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on
the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of
salvation." [1 Thessalonians 5. 5 - 6, 8]

1. Do not sleep, watch and be sober.
2. Put on faith and love, and hope of salvation.
3. Comfort one another.
4. Edify one another.
5. Recognize those who labor among you, and are over you in the LORD
and admonish you,
6. Esteem them in love for their works.
7. Be at peace among yourselves.
8. Warn those who are unruly.
9. Comfort the fainthearted.
10. Uphold the weak,
11. Be patient with all.
12. See that no one renders evil for evil to anyone, but always pursue
what is good both for yourselves and for all.
13. Rejoice always.
14. Pray without ceasing.
15. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of GOD in MESSIAH
YESHUA for you.
16. Do not quench the SPIRIT.
17. Do not despise prophecies.
18. Test (prove) all things; hold fast what is good.
19. Abstain from every form of evil. (Reach for maturity, sanctify
yourselves, be holy!)
20. Pray for us.
21. Greet all the brethren with a holy kiss.
22. Read this epistle to all the holy brethren.

"Now may the GOD of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your
whole spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our
LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE WHO calls you is Faithful, who also will do it.
The grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST be with you. Amen" [1 Thessalonians
5. 6 – 28]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
As we celebrate Melave Malka (end of Sabbath), we bless you and bid you
a good week.
Continue to praise our LORD, the EVERLASTING KING, HELPER, SAVIOUR and
SHIELD for HIS loving-kindness is mighty over us. You, dearly beloved
friend are our joy and crown. Thus, we encourage you to stand fast in
the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA.
When things around you appear dark and terrifying, hold on to the
promises of LORD GOD, HE is in complete control. The LORD OF HOSTS is
wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance for sound wisdom. Go
forth victoriously into the week and take some of Sabbath's sweetness
with you.

Post  Admin Sat 28 Jan 2012, 2:23 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Cynicism (pessimism) is idealism (optimism) gone sour.

MESSIAH IN THE OLD COVENANT
"Let me tell of the decree: the LORD said to me — YOU are MY SON, I
have fathered YOU this day." [Psalms (Tehillym) 2. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There are many monotheists today (specifically Muslims, Jews and liberal
Christians) who believe in one SUPREME GOD, but reject the deity of
MESSIAH YESHUA. They argue that the doctrine that YESHUA was the unique
SON OF THE MIGHTY GOD OF ISRAEL was invented by the early Christians and
that the GOD of the OLD COVENANT had no SON. Orthodox Jews, in
particular emphasize the Shema: "Hear, O Israel—the LORD our GOD,
the LORD is one." [Deuteronomy/ Devarim 6. 4 ] And the Muslims
acknowledge that Allah has no sons, proving the one they worship is not
the HIGH & HOLY GOD OF CREATION.

The fact, however, is that there are numerous verses in the OLD COVENANT
that speak to prove that OMNIPOTENT GOD has an ONLY BEGOTTEN SON: The
great promise of SOVEREIGN GOD to David states, "I will raise up your
offspring after you...I will be a FATHER to HIM, and HE shall be MY
SON...before ME YOUR Throne shall be established forever." [2 Samuel
(Shemuel Bet) 7. 12, 14, 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Agur asked a rhetorical question: "WHO has ascended into heaven and come
down? WHO has gathered the wind in the hollow of HIS hands? WHO has
bound the waters in a garment? WHO has established all the extremities
of the earth? What is HIS NAME, or HIS SON'S NAME, if you know it?"
[Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The book of Isaiah is replete with prophecies related to the ANOINTED
SON OF GOD MOST HIGH: "Assuredly, my LORD will give you a sign of HIS
OWN accord — Look, the virgin (Hebrew: almah— an engaged virgin)
shall conceive and bear a SON, and shall call HIS NAME IMMANU'EL
(literally meaning: with us is GOD)." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 7. 14] "For a
CHILD has been born to us, a SON has been given us. Authority will be
upon HIS shoulder. And, HIS NAME will be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR,
MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE. Of the increase of HIS
government and limitless peace there will be no end. Upon the David's
Throne and over HIS Kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment
and justice from that time forward, even evermore. The zeal of the LORD
OF HOSTS shall bring this to pass." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 6 - 7 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

"Behold! MY SERVANT WHOM I uphold, MY ELECT ONE in WHOM I delight! I
have put MY SPIRIT upon HIM; HE will teach the true way to the Gentiles.
HE will not cry out, nor raise HIS voice, nor cause HIS voice to be
heard in the street. A BRUISED REED, HE shall not break, and SMOKING
FLAX, HE will not be snuffed out. HE will bring forth justice for truth.
HE will not fail nor be discouraged, till HE has established justice in
the earth; and the coastlands shall wait for HIS Teachings. Thus says
GOD THE LORD, WHO created the heavens and stretched them out, WHO spread
forth the earth and what it brings forth, WHO gives breath to the people
on it and life to those who walk thereon...The LORD goes forth like a
MIGHTY MAN; HE shall stir up HIS zeal like a man of war. HE shall cry
out; Yes, shout aloud, HE shall prevail against HIS enemies." [Isaiah
(Yeshayah) 42. 1 – 5, 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Then there is the most definitely marvelous verse regarding JESUS, the
SON OF THE LIVING GOD found in the MESSIANIC Psalms which concludes with
this exhortation: "Kiss the SON, lest HE be angry and you perish in the
way, when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who
take refuge in HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 2. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Assuredly, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the HOLY ONE OF OLD, the
ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, the FIRST-BORN of the MOST HIGH the EXALTED KING of
all ages. How truly amazing our GOD is!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Good Shabbat — Come, let us go out to meet the Sabbath Queen,
Sabbath presence, let us welcome!
We honour & praise
the LORD YESHUA, the BLESSED ANOINTED ONE, WHO separates the sacred from
the mundane and gives true Sabbath peace & rest, where there is
wonderful joy living in Kedushat Shevi'it — Sabbath Holiness!

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Glass is made by the process of blowing. If a human being can make
something beautiful by this procedure, how much more so that which is
made by the Breath of the HOLY ONE, blessed be HE and blessed be HIS
HOLY NAME.

DEFENDING THE FAITH
"I am appointed for the defense of the GOSPEL." [Philippians 1. 17]

Many are the social CHRISTians today who abuse the use of written
Evidences of God's Holy Word in CHRISTian witnessing, feeling it is
somehow dishonoring to YESHUA ha'MASHIACH or to the HOLY SCRIPTURES in
trying to defend them; thus distorting the literal sense of the commands
and teachings of the Lord JESUS. Remember, if the plain sense makes
sense, seek no other sense or you will come up with nonsense.

The Apostle Paul, however, did not refrain, by any means, the
opportunity to expound the WRITTEN WORD. The GOSPEL does need
defending, and Paul was set for its defense against the attacks of its
adversaries. Also, he told his disciples that "in the defense and
confirmation of the GOSPEL, you all are partakers with me of grace."
[Philippians 1. 7]

Since we are "partakers" with Paul in this defense, we also need to be
prepared and have our face set for its defense. We must "Always be
ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope
that is in you, with meekness and fear." [1 Peter 3. 15]

Any CHRIST-like- one who shares his faith with the unsaved has
encountered many who cannot or will not believe the simple plan of
salvation until his questions are answered. We must be familiar with
the "many infallible proofs" [Acts 1. 3] of the deity of the LORD JESUS,
the ANOINTED ONE, and HIS power to save, both as OMNIPOTENT CREATOR and
the HUMBLE SIN-BEARING SAVIOR.

We must "search the SCRIPTURES daily" and also study the "witness" HE
has given in the creation [Acts 17. 11; 14. 17], along with believing
the "many infallible proofs" left here. [Acts 1. 3] "The works of the
LORD are great, studied by all who have pleasure in them and within
reach of all who desire them." [Psalms (Tehillym) 111. 2 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] "All SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of GOD, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in
righteousness. " [2 Timothy 3. 16]

"Be diligent to present yourself approved to GOD, a worker who does not
need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the WORD OF TRUTH." [2 Timothy 2.
15] Effectively done, fruit will be produced that will "remain" [John
15. 16] instead of a withered crop that "has no root." [Mark 4. 6]
"Test all things; hold fast to what is good." [1 Thessalonians 5. 21]

May the ETERNAL ONE, blessed be HE, help us be among the victorious
defenders of the GOSPEL, which is the only "GOOD NEWS" from which
righteousness and praise springs forth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
LORD, help us to break down the barriers which keep us from YOU. . .
falsehood & faithlessness, callousness & selfishness, injustice &
hard-heartedness.
Remember, keep looking up, the best is yet to be!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Repentance and good works are as a shield against retribution.

THE BRANCH
"In that day the radiance of the BRANCH OF THE LORD will lend beauty and
glory; and of the splendid fruit, my LORD will give excellence of
dignity and majestic (honor & glory) to the survivors of Israel."
[Isaiah (Yeshayah) 4. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"THE BRANCH" is a fascinating title for MESSIAH, the PROMISED TRUE VINE,
also being the BRANCH OF THE LORD, the SPLENDID FRUIT OF THE LAND. HE is
beautiful, glorious, excellent and comely. . . all together lovely.
"But, a ROD (Hebrew: choter ) shall come forth, a BRANCH (Hebrew: netser
— descendant) shall grow out of the root of Jesse." This is speaking
of the "GREATER SON" of King David, and "a BRANCH shall sprout from his
stock (Hebrew: geze — to cut down, a trunk, stump {of a tree}). The
SPIRIT OF THE LORD shall rest upon HIM: The SPIRIT of wisdom and
understanding, the SPIRIT of counsel and might, the SPIRIT of knowledge
and of the reverential fear of the LORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 11. 1 - 2
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There are two references in Jeremiah and two in Zechariah calling YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH, "THE BRANCH." In the Jeremiah passages, HE is the
BRANCH OF DAVID: "Behold, the day is coming — says the LORD —
that I will raise to David a BRANCH OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. "
[Jeremiah/Yeshayah 23. 5; 33. 15]

In Zechariah's prophecy, MESSIAH YESHUA is called "GOD'S SERVANT and
GOD'S MAN." "For behold, I am going to bring MY SERVANT THE BRANCH."
[Zechariah (Zecharyah) 3. 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Behold the MAN , the
future KING of David's line, called the BRANCH shall grow out from the
place where HE is, and HE shall build the Temple of the LORD."
[Zechariah (Zecharyah) 6. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This fourfold presentation of the BRANCH of David, the BRANCH as the
SERVANT, the MAN WHO is the BRANCH and the BRANCH OF THE LORD
beautifully corresponds to the four GOSPELS depiction of LORD MESSIAH
JESUS as KING (Matthew), SERVANT (Mark), PERFECT MAN (Luke) and SON OF
GOD (John).

Just as a vine or a tree branch, when it first begins to shoot forth, it
appears small and fragile and easily broken, so the Lord Messiah YesHUA
appeared to be inconspicuous and unattractive. "For HE has grown, by
HIS favor, as a TENDER PLANT, and as a TREE ROOT out of arid ground."
[Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Yet, this same FRAGILE BRANCH will one day become a GREAT VINE with
innumerable branches [John 15. 5] that will spread its exceptionally
admirable and wonderfully elegant fruit throughout the entire world.
The LORD JESUS gives HIS PRECIOUS NAME to HIS people, they are called
CHRISTians [Acts 11. 26], CHRIST-like- ones or sons of GOD. [John 1. 11 -
12; 1 John 3. 1 - 2] We, YESHUA'S branches, are to be like HE was in
the world. If CHRIST JESUS is not our LORD, we are nothing. . . HE is
everything wonderful!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
May it be YOUR will, LORD our GOD and GOD of our fathers, MERCIFUL KING,
in YOUR abundant love, again to have mercy on us and on YOUR Sanctuary,
rebuild it speedily and magnify YOUR glory! Blessed are YOU, WHO in YOUR
glory gives life and light to the whole world. For YOUR great goodness
and endless mercies, we give YOU thanks, praise and glory.

Post  Admin Wed 25 Jan 2012, 5:46 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Only the TRUE & LIVING GOD can end the chaos of this present world.
Thankfully, HE is still in charge and will end it in His timing.

SIGNS OF THE TIMES
"Woe! to those who call evil good, and good evil; who present darkness
as light and light as darkness; who present bitter as sweet, and sweet
as bitter! WOE! to those who are so wise — in their own opinion; so
clever — in their own judgment!" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 5. 20 - 21
Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There is an increasing demand to change the mind-set of entire nations
using collective reasoning to call what is actually EVIL, good; and what
is GOOD, evil. There are many in high governmental positions, the media,
and even churches who are deliberately promoting and tolerating
homosexual acceptance, murder of unborn children, rape, debauchery and
desires of every kind including cultic practices and worshiping other
gods. When people insist that one must be loving, and tolerant, and
forced into accepting such abominable practices, they are actually the
threat to survival for those who are passionate in their belief and
worship of the Most High GOD. To tolerate such sinful indulgence is
completely against Almighty GOD and His Righteous Laws. This is not a
new thing, "the inhabitants of Sodom were exceedingly wicked sinners
against the LORD." [Genesis (Bereshith) 13. 13 Tanakh, Torah] The end
result, the Righteous Judge rained down fire and brimstones and
destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.

At the time of the flood, the earth was full of violence. "The earth
became corrupt before GOD; and the earth was filled with violence and
lawlessness. And Elohiym said to Noah — I have decided to put an end
to all flesh, for the earth is filled with violence and lawlessness and
because of them, I am about to destroy them with the earth." [Genesis
(Bereshith) 6. 11, 13 Tanakh, Torah]

Those who mention the name of GOD Most High are considered to be
criminal, right-wingers, dogmatists, bigots, and even called "a threat
to the nation." It is considered intolerant to say the "truth" is the
"TRUTH." Common sense has been pushed aside by what is considered
common courtesy — as we dutifully avoid, at all costs, logically
inferring that others are wrong.

The GREAT OMNIPOTENT CREATOR GOD revels HIMSELF as the unique Measure &
Personification of Absolute Truth. He alone holds the singular role of
being CREATOR & SUSTAINER of the heavens and the earth.
[Genesis/Bereshith 1] The MERCIFUL ONE is intolerant as well as
tolerant. . . HE makes the standards! When we tolerate what HE does
not tolerate or fail to tolerate what HE does tolerate, that is what the
HOLY SCRIPTURES call "SIN" and sin leads to death. "Your iniquities have
been a barrier between you and your GOD, your SINS have made HIM turn
HIS face away and refuse to hear you." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 59. 2 Tanakh,
Nevi'im]

Although the RIGHTEOUS ONE will not tolerate sin, HE is more than
tolerant; HE is compassionate and merciful, jealous and vigilant.
Furthermore, HE is "THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE" and HIS judgment stands. The
prophets all tell of GOD'S righteousness and of HIS wondrous redemption
and renewal for those who will turn away from the things HE absolutely
will not tolerate.

What will it take to wake some people up? The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA
emphatically declared, "HYPOCRITES! You know how to discern the face of
the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times." [Matthew 16. 2
- 3] Are you a part of GOD'S coming wrath and contributing to HIS
righteous judgment that is coming on this world, or are you ready for
HIS Kingdom doing HIS assigned will?

Some things are worth standing up for (truth, righteousness, morals,
integrity); real conviction and concern dictate that we do our best to
present the honest facts. "Sanctify the LORD GOD in your hearts, and
always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for
the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good
conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile
your good conduct in CHRIST may be ashamed." [1 Peter 3. 15 - 16] "But
even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And
do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled...For it is better,
if it is the will of GOD, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil."
[1 Peter 3. 14, 17]

Even now the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith invites us: "Come, let us
reach an understanding — says the LORD. Though your sins are like
crimson, they can turn snow-white; though they are red as dyed wool,
they can become like fleece." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 1. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Earnestly contend (compete, challenge, argue, fight) for the Truth, it
is the only life-giving substance for reconciliation to the MIGHTY
OMNIPOTENT LORD OF HOSTS.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
What ALMIGHTY GOD does to us is based on what HE finds in us. Allow HIM
to change you for the good and best.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The conscience is a delicate instrument which becomes deranged by
misuse.

YES & AMEN
"For all the promises of GOD in HIM are YES! and in HIM AMEN! to the
glory of GOD through us." [2 Corinthians 1. 20]

The word "Amen" is a most remarkable word; it was translated directly
from the Hebrew word "aman" which is related to the word for believe or
faithful. Therefore, it came to mean "sure, truly, so it will be" an
expression of absolute trust and confidence.

Also in the Hebrew interpretation, Amen is an acrostic — "EL MELECH
NE'EMAN" meaning, "The LORD is a TRUSTWORTHY KING." Blessed be HE and
blessed be the GLORIOUS NAME OF THE LORD forever and ever! "Let the
NAME of YEHOWAH be blessed now and forever. From east (rising of the
sun) to west (its going down) the NAME of YEHOWAH is praised." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 113. 2 - 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

One of the titles of MESSIAH YESHUA is "THE AMEN." In the Book of
Revelation, the last of HIS Letters to the seven churches begins with a
distinguished greeting from the GLORIFIED LORD: "These things says the
AMEN, the FAITHFUL and TRUE WITNESS, the BEGINNING of the creation of
GOD." [Revelation 3. 14] We can be absolutely certain that HIS WORD is
always faithful and true, because HE is the CREATOR of all things, HE is
our "ETERNAL AMEN."

Every promise of the LORD GOD in CHRIST JESUS is "YES! & AMEN!" — as
strong an affirmation of truth as can be expressed in a language.
Therefore, it is extremely meaningful that the HOLY SCRIPTURES close
with a thunderous AMEN! "The grace of our LORD JESUS be with you all.
Amen!" [Revelation 22. 21] All who read these LIFE-GIVING Words can
know beyond all reasoning that the entire BOOK of books is absolutely
true and trustworthy. Amen! Read and believe (obey), it is the GREATEST
MESSAGE (REVEALED TRUTH) ever told! "Blessed be YEHOWAH ELOHEY of
Israel forevermore, from eternity to eternity! Amen and Amen." [Psalms
(Tehillym) 41. 13; 89. 52 Tanakh, Kethuvim] There is indescribable
overwhelming joy in obeying and serving the LOVING LORD GOD OF THE
UNIVERSE.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
Praised are YOU, O LORD GOD, for great is YOUR love for us and YOUR
compassion boundless. Be gracious to us that we may understand and
fulfill the teachings of YOUR REVERED WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR
Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Thank YOU for YOUR saving
power, for from YOU comes our help. Draw us nearer to YOU to serve YOU
in faithfulness. Joyfully, we lift our voices and proclaim YOUR PRECIOUS
NAME.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.

Post  Admin Mon 23 Jan 2012, 7:17 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Man's way leads to a hopeless end — GOD'S way leads to an endless
hope.

DISCERNING FALSE PROPHETS
"And should you ask yourselves — How can we know that the word was
not spoken by the LORD? — IF the prophet speaks in the NAME of the
LORD and the oracle does not come true, that oracle was not spoken by
the LORD; the prophet has uttered it presumptuously; do not stand in
dread (be afraid) of him." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 18. 21 - 22 Tanakh,
Torah]

The test a true prophet of the LIVING LORD is to consider what they say.
Do they call everyone to repent of their evil ways and doings and turn
wholeheartedly back to ALMIGHTY GOD? The MOST HOLY ONE said, "IF they
had stood in MY counsel, let them announce MY words to MY people, then
they would have turned them from their evil ways and from the wicked
acts they are doing." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Because they seek to entice you away from the LORD your GOD, the penalty
for a false prophet was death. "Do not assent or give heed to him. Show
him no pity or compassion, and do not shield him; but take his life. Let
your hand be the first against him to put him to death, and the hand of
the rest of the people thereafter. Stone him to death, for he sought to
make you stray from the LORD your GOD, WHO brought you out of the land
of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thus all Israel will hear and be
afraid, and such evil things will not be done again in your midst."
[Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 9 - 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

To our shame and ultimate ruin, we have accepted and honored the false
teachers instead of following the ALMIGHTY'S commands to destroy evil
from among us. This is bringing GOD'S just wrath upon the whole world.

The testing of a prophet should never be based entirely on his ability
to perform signs and wonders; but on the message he speaks. "If there
appears among you a prophet or a dream-diviner and he gives you a sign
or a wonder, saying — Let us follow and worship another god —
whom you have not experienced — even if the sign or wonder that he
named to you comes true, you shall not heed or listen to the words of
that prophet or that dream-diviner. For the LORD your GOD is testing you
to see whether you really love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and
with all your soul." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Torah]

The absolute harmony of the prophet's message and deeds with the
revealed WORD OF GOD, and the wholehearted commitment to the HOLY ONE
HIMSELF, is an immediate test. His inward attitude will be expressed
and he will walk after the LORD in fear and reverence, keep HIS
commandments, and obey HIM — serving the LORD and clinging to HIS
promises. "Follow none but the LORD your GOD, and revere none but HIM;
observe HIS commandments alone, and heed only HIS orders; worship none
but HIM, and hold fast to HIM." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 5 Tanakh,
Torah] Then, it will be well with our souls.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
O GOD, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking guild. Be my
SUPPORT when grief silences my voice, and my COMFORT when woe bends my
spirit. Plant humility in my soul, and strengthen my heart with perfect
faith in YOU. Help me to be strong in trials and temptations and to be
humble always before YOU, my STRONG-TOWER. Guide me by the LIGHT of YOUR
counsel, and let me ever find rest in YOU — my ROCK and my REDEEMER.
Praised be the LORD GOD ETERNAL to WHOM all praise is due for ever and
ever. Amen!
To have hope that is certain and faith that is sure, we must spend some
time daily in GOD'S WORD to us so we can learn, understand and be
firmly grounded in what HE has to teach us. How can we follow someone we
don't truly know and trust? We must read to know and the ONLY SOURCE
is what is written.

Post  Admin Sun 22 Jan 2012, 8:21 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Words of the wise, spoken quietly, should be heard rather than the
bellowing shout of a foolish ruler.

CAPTIVATING EXPERIENCE
"I, Koheleth (the Assembler of sayings) son of David, was king in
Jerusalem over Israel. I set my mind to study and search with wisdom all
that happens under the sun. An unhappy and burdensome task that, which
GOD gave men to be concerned with that they may be exercised."
[Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 1. 12 - 13 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

These words are from Solomon himself, the one who asked the MOST HOLY
LORD GOD for wisdom to rule the people of Israel. The RIGHTEOUS ONE
gave him his request, plus more. "Because you have asked for the wisdom
and knowledge to be able to govern and judge MY people over whom I have
made you king, wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will grant
you also wealth, property and glory, the like of which no king before
you has had, nor shall any after you have." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin
Bet) 1. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Solomon experienced every human experience possible with forethought.
His planned intention was to experience the effect it would have on ones
life. [Ecclesiastes/ Kohelet] His ultimate downfall was in taking an
assorted collection of wives, who turned him from the ONLY TRUE GOD.
This happened after the ETERNAL MASTER had warned Solomon not to
"multiply wives, lest his heart go astray" and they would lead him into
idolatry. [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 17. 17; 7. 1 - 5]

Solomon confessed that wisdom strengthens the wise and all this he
proved by his own wisdom and experience. Yet, "wisdom" was far from
him. King Solomon was put to shame, and in the end, his wisdom amounted
to nothing. "All this I tested with wisdom. I thought I will be
wise but it eludes me." [Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 7. 23 Tanakh,
Kethuvim] Solomon's conclusion: "Remember your CREATOR! Revere and fear
GOD and keep HIS commandments! This is the whole duty of mankind."
[Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 12. 13 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

However, a truly WISE HOLY GOD/MAN came to be perfected, in fact, by the
things HE experienced. "JESUS, WHO was made a little lower than the
angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that
HE, by the grace of GOD, might taste death for everyone. For it was
fitting for HIM, for WHOM are all things and by WHOM are all things, in
bringing many sons to glory, to make the CAPTAIN of their salvation
perfect through sufferings." [Hebrews 2. 9 - 10]

MESSIAH YESHUA left HIS place in Glory and became a MAN that HE might
(and I say this reverently) "be made" perfect. This GREAT ETERNAL
LOVING CREATOR Of everything, WHO knows all things (omniscient) could
not die. Although HE had the knowledge of death, HE thought it
important to know by experience. According to the Law, a kinsman could
redeem a brother. [Leviticus/Vayikra 25. 48 - 49] The LORD YESHUA
ha'MASHIACH, our KINSMAN REDEEMER, bought us back after we sold
ourselves into sin.

CHRIST JESUS, "WHO, in the days of HIS flesh, when HE had offered up
prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to HIM WHO was
able to save HIM from death, and was heard because of HIS godly fear,
though HE was the SON, yet HE learned obedience by the things which HE
suffered. And having been perfected, HE became the AUTHOR of eternal
salvation to all who obey HIM." [Hebrews 5. 7 - 9] The DELIVERER is now
seated at our FATHER'S right hand and is interceding for us as the GREAT
HIGH PRIEST. "For the Law appoints as high priests men who have
weakness, but the WORD OF THE OATH, which came after the Law, appoints
the SON (KING YESHUA, the MESSIAH) WHO has been perfected forever."
[Hebrews 7. 28]

MESSIAH YESHUA is LORD and is preeminent over all. HE was, in all
points, tempted as we are. . .yet never sinned. "For we do not have a
HIGH PRIEST who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all
points tempted as we are, yet without sin." [Hebrews 4. 15] "Indeed, a
GREATER than Solomon is here" [Matthew 12. 42; Luke 11. 31] . . .HIM we
should hear and be quick to obey.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of
Israel!
As we bid farewell to Shabbat may our lips ever declare praises to our
KING, HELPER, SAVIOUR & SHIELD for HIS loving kindness is mighty over
us. May you have blessed assurance knowing that YEHOWAH, our GREAT GOD
is the LORD of your life; oh, return to HIM with your whole heart. May
each of you be delivered from trouble and harm, or strengthened through
it. Heal us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight.
We hold you in our hearts dear friends, and cover you in our prayers.
Go forth victoriously into the week and take some of Sabbath's sweetness
with you.

Post  Admin Sat 21 Jan 2012, 2:35 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
I have learned that you ought always to be more or less specific.

FEAR NO EVIL
"In the days of evil and times of trouble, why should I fear when the
iniquity at my heels shall compass me about?" [Psalms (Tehillym) 49. 5
Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This enigmatic question should be of real great concern to all
unbelievers. The "day of evil" seems to refer to those of old age while
the young are encouraged— "So remember, appreciate your CREATOR in
the days of your youth, before those days of sorrow come and those years
arrive of which you will say — I have no pleasure in them."
[Ecclesiastes (Kohelet) 12. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

However, those who have not "remembered their CREATOR" while young may
one day come to realize that the iniquities which had been accumulating
against their record day by day through a long lifetime had actually
involved the venom of that old serpent, ha'Satan, which the LOVING
MASTER of the Universe long ago warned would bruise the heels of the
children of Eve. [Genesis/Bereshith 3. 15] Their sins, which will
eventually become so numerous as to "compass" them about, might even
destroy them in this present life and for eternity. Satan, that old
snake, will have "the power of death" [Hebrews 2. 14] until the day when
the TRUE SEED of the woman, the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA will "crush the
head" of that wicked one forever. Even though the sins of the whole
world were placed upon JESUS, the SON OF MAN, it was only HIS "heel"
that was cruelly and viciously "bruised" by the Devil.

Because of MESSIAH YESHUA'S great victory over Satan — when the
LORD OF GLORY died for our sins and then defeated death by HIS
resurrection, we no longer need to fear death, even when the evil days
draw near.

To accept ALMIGHTY GOD'S precious Gift of Salvation from sin and death
when one is young is best. However it is never too late, as long as we
live and have breath in our bodies. So, why should we worry when "we
have known and believed the love that GOD has for us. GOD is love, and
he who abides in love abides in GOD, and GOD in him. Love has been
perfected among us in this: That we may have boldness in the Day of
Judgment; because as HE is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in
love; but perfect love casts out fear." [1 John 4. 16 - 18] For your
greatest joy, delight and pleasure now and for all eternity, take JESUS
as your ROCK OF DELIVERANCE, the MOST HIGH GOD as your REDEEMER & LORD.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Good Sabbath! Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall
rejoice in GOD'S Kingdom.
O INFINITE & MERCIFUL CREATOR , firm in the faith we are emboldened to
seek YOUR PRESENCE, and we are assured that we shall find YOU if, with
sincere hearts, we seek YOU. As the flowers of the field drink of the
dew of heaven and of the radiance of the sun, so would we, lifting our
spirits unto YOU, drink of the pure fountains of holiness. Loving YOU
is its own reward, our souls rejoice in YOUR PRESENCE, for YOU are our
PRAISE and our SONG. Amen
Enjoy a blessed Sabbath!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our
Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He
comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and
the world will experience true godly universal peace.
