A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The only reason some people listen to reason is to gain time for rebuttal.

SUN-SHIELD-GRACE-GLORY
"For the LORD GOD is SUN ("SHEMESH") and SHIELD ("MAGEN"); the LORD bestows grace and glory; HE does not withhold HIS bounty from those who walk without blame." [Psalms (Tehillym) 84. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In the innumerable mercies of our RIGHTEOUS LORD GOD, HE will not forsake us in our wilderness journey, nor will HE depart from us day or night. HE has sent us HIS HOLY SPIRIT to instruct us and never withholds any good thing from us that HE may give us according to the riches of HIS glory to strengthen us. "And my GOD shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS." [Philippians 4. 19]

"But to you who revere MY NAME the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS ("SHEMESH TSEDEQ") shall rise with healing in HIS Wings." [Malachi (Malakhi) 4. 2 Tanakh, Nevi'im] This prophecy was completed in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, when the woman with the issue of blood touched the hem (wings/fringe on the Prayer Shawl/Tallit) of the LORD'S garment for healing, it was immediately granted to her.

"Then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and attain knowledge of GOD. For the LORD grants wisdom; knowledge and discernment are by HIS decree. HE reserves sound wisdom for the upright and is a SHIELD for those who live blamelessly, guarding the paths of justice, protecting the way of HIS saints. You will then understand what is right, just, equitable — every good path." [Proverbs (Mishle) 2. 5 - 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"And the WORD became FLESH and dwelt among us, and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the ONLY BEGOTTEN of the FATHER, full of grace and truth." [John 1. 14] We have been justified by faith in the LORD YESHUA, "to the praise of the glory of HIS grace, by which HE has made us accepted in the BELOVED." [Ephesians 1. 6]

"Great is the LORD and greatly to be praised; HIS greatness cannot be fathomed. The LORD is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in kindness. The LORD is good to all, and HIS mercy is upon all HIS works. HE fulfills the wishes of those who fear HIM; HE hears their cry and delivers them. The LORD watches over all who love HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 145. 3, 8 - 9, 19 - 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Knowing this, we can be confident and completely content in perfect peace, even in this world of havoc and turmoil.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
With great love YOU have loved us, O our GOD, and with exceeding compassion YOU have borne with us. Our fathers believed and trusted in YOU; therefore you taught them the laws of life, and showed them the ways of wisdom. We implore YOU, O MERCIFUL FATHER, to grant us discernment, that we may understand and fulfill all the TEACHINGS of YOUR WORD. Make us gladly obedient to YOUR commandments and fill our hearts with love and reverence for YOU. In YOU we put our trust; we rejoice and delight in YOUR help, for with YOU alone is salvation, and peace in the soul of man. YOU have called us as teachers of YOUR Law; YOU have chosen us for a holy mission to mankind; therefore do we joyfully lift up our voices and proclaim YOUR magnificence. Praised are YOU, O GOD, WHO has chosen us in love. We give praised to YOUR HOLY NAME and thank YOU for YESHUA, our BELOVED REDEEMER.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Life is not a sprint, it is a marathon. Run to win!

DO GOOD
"Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of GOD, but he who does evil has not seen GOD." [3 John 11]

Societies morals and ethics today have become so confused that actions once considered wrong are now considered quite normal. In fact, many perversions are now protected by the law (abortion, drugs, homosexual partnerships or marriages, and other sexual distorted deviances, etc.). This modern mind-set completely disregards the BELOVED MASTER CREATOR and fulfils HOLY SCRIPTURE, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who present darkness for light, and light as darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 5. 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the innocent — both of them alike are an abomination to the LORD." [Proverb (Michle) 17. 15 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Those who try to call people back to righteousness are ridiculed as officious (interfering) pompous do—gooder relics who are unreservedly old fashioned and out of touch. Even considering sensible, wise, and GODly thinking as being a "Hate Crime."

It should be remembered, however that ALMIGHTY GOD HIMSELF was the first to do good. "HE did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness...HE makes HIS sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." [Acts 14. 17 & Matthew 5. 45] The TRUE & LOVING LORD GOD not only created, but HE upholds the world HE created, HE continued to do good deeds when HE became MAN. As YESHUA of Nazareth, "HE went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for GOD was with HIM." [Acts 10. 38] "The SPIRIT OF THE LORD is upon ME, because HE has anointed ME to preach the Gospel to the poor; HE has sent ME to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD." [Luke 4. 18 – 19] And, "JESUS went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people." [Matthew 4. 23]

All those who are true followers of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH and know HIM as their SAVIOR, LORD, and KING will be like HIM in their daily lives. We too must do good. Human standards continually change, but JESUS — Never! HE "is the same yesterday, today, and forever." [Hebrews 13. 8] Likewise our righteous standards are not to change or conform to the world’s.

To do good is the emblem or character of one who is truly born-anew, for "whoever does good is of GOD" — and whoever engages in evil "has not seen GOD." This same truth is replete throughout the WRITTEN WORD: "Let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to GOD, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to HIS NAME. But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices GOD is well pleased." [Hebrews 13. 15 - 16] The LORD JESUS even commanded us to do good to our enemies, "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you." [Luke 21. 27 - 28] "By this we know love, because HE laid down HIS life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth." [1 John 3. 16, 18]

Do not permit the erratic worldly views and ideas persuade you, keep your integrity, "hold fast what is good." [1 Thessalonians 5. 21] "To him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin." [James 4. 17] Each of us is given ample opportunities to do good that we will be known by our sweet, refreshing fruit of the Spirit and bring glory to our HEAVENLY FATHER WHO is deserving of all praise!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
LORD our GOD, great, eternal, wonderful in glory, WHO keeps covenant and promises for those that love YOU with their whole heart, WHO is the LIFE of all, the HELP of those that flee to YOU, the HOPE of those who cry to YOU, cleanse us from our sins, secret and open, and from every thought displeasing to YOUR goodness — cleanse our bodies and souls, our hearts and consciences, that with a pure heart, and a clear soul, with perfect love and calm hope, we may venture confidently and fearlessly to pray to YOU. And, we thank YOU in the MAGNIFICENT NAME of YESHUA we pray, Amen!

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Greed, selfish desires, ambition, lust, and the like are all categories of madness.

THE OHEL
"You shall make cloths of goats' hair for a tent over the Tabernacle; make the cloths eleven in number." [Exodus (Shemot) 26. 7 Tanakh, Torah]

The Ohel is the second covering of the Wilderness Tabernacle. The women who were wise-hearted spun goats' hair for its making. Bedouins today live in tents made of black goats' hair which has been woven into a canvas. They call it their "house of hair."

In HOLY SCRIPTURES, the goat signifies the sin bearer, especially the Scape Goat. Black, representing man's old nature of sin. The black of the Ohel, the tent or second curtain, tells of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH WHO was made the Sin-Offering; then the Ram's Skins dyed red — typical of YESHUA "MESSIAH THE SUBSTITUTE" WHO'S blood covers the blackness of our sin. The white linen of the Mishkan tells of MESSIAH'S righteousness (First, HE is righteous).

At four of the set times or "Feasts of YEHOWAH" — Unleavened Bread, Feast of First-Fruits, Pentecost and the Day of Atonement there was a goat slain on behalf of the people's sins. Since the offensive odor of this animal signifies the stench of sin in the nostrils of the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, the priests were commanded to purify themselves from defilement by washing with water after handling it. [Numbers/B’Midvar 31. 20; Leviticus/Vayikra 16. 26 - 28] The LORD YESHUA is the ANTI-TYPE of the goats' hair curtain, for HE was "made sin," a stench to the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN, upon that Roman Cross. Isaiah prophesies of this: "When YOU (FATHER GOD) make HIS (MESSIAH YESHUA) soul an offering for sin" — or rather, "HE (YESHUA) made HIMSELF an offering for guilt…and that through HIM the LORD'S purpose might prosper." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 10 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The LORD JESUS came in the likeness of sinful flesh, yet without sin, and died upon the Altar (as did the goat) on behalf of the people. YESHUA OF NAZARETH is the perfect SIN-OFFERING to ALMIGHTY GOD for us that "we might become the righteousness of GOD in HIM." [1 Corinthians 5. 21]

YESHUA ha'MASHIACH came as a PERFECT MAN to be THE SIN OFFERING because of the marvelous grace of our LOVING GOD to man in his weakness. We could never show enough gratitude and appreciation for HIS tender mercy to us! Sincerely, we do —Thank YOU, LORD! HalleluYAH!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Life begins with struggle; and when struggle ends life ends with it. This may well be the secret of Jewish continuity, which has outlived the countless nations and empires and ideologies that have done everything in their power to destroy us, and who survive only in the pages of history books. But even more than that, it is that very struggle that makes life worth living. Comfort and complacency lead to apathy, and a life of apathy is scarcely better than no life at all. May the ETERNAL ONE remind us to be grateful, not just for the success, but even for the struggle.
Seek the LORD while HE may be found, call upon HIM while HE is near. Diligently obey the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, incline your ear to the MASTER and you will live.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The Hebrew word "chesed" is usually translated as kindness; but it also means love — not love as an emotion or passion, but love expressed as deeds.

ANGEL OF THE LORD
"The ANGEL OF THE LORD said to him (Manoah, father of Samson), "Why do you ask MY NAME, seeing it is WONDERFUL (PELE)?" [Judges (Shofetim) 13. 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This fascinating encounter occurred during one of Israel ’s periods of apostasy and servitude, when the people had been ruled for forty years by the pagan Philistines. There was one godly couple in the tribe of Dan, however, who had been praying patently for a son, and the ALMIGHTY finally answered their prayers — "The ANGEL OF THE LORD" came to give the good news to Manoah and his wife. The legendary son who was born to them was the strong and mighty Samson, who fought for his people.

But, it is the ANGEL HIMSELF WHO is the most intriguing and unusual individual of the story. HIS NAME was "SECRET (PELE means wonderful, too marvelous even to understand, unknowable)". This is the DIVINE SON, the REDEEMER, the Prophet Isaiah proclaimed was coming — " And HIS NAME will be called WONDERFUL (PELE), Counselor (YAV’ATZ), MIGHTY GOD (GIBWR EL), EVERLASTING FATHER (AD AB), PRINCE OF PEACE (SAR SHALOM)." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 9. 6]

In fact, this ANGEL OF THE LORD was none other than GOD THE SON in one of HIS extraordinary preincarnate appearances, or theophanies, when the invisible GOD manifested HIMSELF visibly to mankind. There are many created angels [see Hebrews 12. 22] or messengers of GOD, but on certain occasions, this ONE WHO is called "ANGEL OF THE LORD" and also "ANGEL OF HIS PRESENCE" — "In all their affliction HE was afflicted, and the ANGEL OF HIS PRESENCE delivered them; in HIS love and pity HE HIMSELF redeemed them; HE bore them, carried and exalted them all the days of old." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 63. 9 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Abraham said of HIM, HE is "the ANGEL WHO has redeemed me from all evil." [Genesis/Yirmeyah 48. 16] Undoubtedly this ANGEL is none other than GOD HIMSELF, for only the GOD of all ages, the PREINCARNATE MESSIAH because HOLY SCRIPTURE makes clear that "No one has seen GOD at any time. The ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, WHO is in the bosom of the FATHER, HE has declared HIM." [John 1. 18]

The ALMIGHTY had already revealed HIMSELF in this way to great men of GOD, and now even to an unknown couple. In due time, this ANGEL, whose name is WONDERFUL, "became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the ONLY-BEGOTTEN of the FATHER, full of grace and truth." [John 1. 14] One day, and that very soon, HE will return and dwell with HIS people forever. "I (John – the beloved apostle of YESHUA) heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the Tabernacle of GOD is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people. GOD HIMSELF will be with them and be their GOD." [Revelation 21. 3]

Now, that is a promise worth waiting and watch for!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We are enamored with YOUR love, O LORD our GOD. It is a great privilege, provided by YOUR amazing grace, to have access and bold confidence to come to YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER. YOU put YOUR arms of comfort around us when life seems to be falling apart. YOU give us wise counsel for these end times. So we thank YOU for the mystery is made known to us and for YOUR compassion, tender mercy and comfort that is new every morning. Great is YOUR faithfulness!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

"Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of GOD, but he who does evil has not seen GOD." [3 John 11]

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Egotism is nothing more than the antiseptic that dulls the pain of stupidity.

LET THEM ALONE
"Then the Lord said to me — Do not pray for the benefit of this people. When they fast, I will not hear their outcry; and when they present burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by war, by famine, by disease, and by pestilence." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 14. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im; also see 7. 16; 11. 14]

These are the words YEHOWAH spoke to Jeremiah regarding Judah (the Southern kingdom of Israel) because of their wickedness in breaking HIS covenant with them, HE intended to cast them out as HE had done to Ephraim (the Northern kingdom of Israel) who had joined themselves with idols. Therefore, they were to let him alone. [see Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 7. 12 – 15 & Hosea/Hoshea 4. 17]

Ephraim led the ten-tribe nation of Israel just before the ALMIGHTY sent them into Assyrian captivity. By way of the Prophet Hosea, the SOVEREIGN ONE told Judah to "let them alone" — they were hopelessly given over to a reprobate mind-set worshipping and joined to pagan idols; more accurately they were under the spell of them and their cursed enchantment.

Those who join themselves to idols or speak evil against the HOLY ONE today should also be let go. A time will come in spite of the long-sufferings of the MERCIFUL MASTER, when further witnessing and warnings becomes useless, even harmful; or when continued interaction merely invites contamination with ungodliness. In such cases, we simply must walk away leaving such people alone.

The LORD MESSIAH used severe language in reference to the deceitful Pharisees of HIS OWN days: "Let them alone. They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch." [Matthew 15. 14] The ANOINTED ONE, in HIS HIGH PRIESTLY PRAYER to HIS HEAVENLY FATHER conveyed, "I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom YOU have given ME, for they are YOURS." [John 17. 9] When the Pharisees and Sadducees came to CHRIST to test HIM, HE called them, “Hypocrites! And a wicked and adulterous generation." Then HE left them and departed. [Matthew 16. 1 - 4]

Similar warning from Paul who emphatically stated of those who come, "having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!" [2 Timothy 3. 5] Being the perfect example, the Apostle Paul also warned us to "shun profane and idle babblings, for they will increase to more ungodliness." [2 Timothy 2. 16] That has never gotten anyone anywhere. This speaks of the empty philosophizing, beliefs, attitudes, and viewpoints of those who reject GOD, the PRECIOUS CREATOR, and it will just increase unto more ungodly actions. Therefore, "have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are." [Ephesians 5. 11 - 12]

"If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin which does not lead to death, he will ask, and HE will give him life for those who commit sin not leading to death. THERE IS SIN LEADING TO DEATH. I do not say that he should pray about that. All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death." [1 John 5. 16 - 17] And according to Hebrews, not things are purified with blood, for it reads: "According to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission." [Hebrews 9. 22]

The majority of these warnings, if not all, apply to people who once knew and understood the truth of GOD and HIS WORD and may have even professed to accepting it for a time, and then knowingly rejected the ONLY SOURCE OF LIFE. When such men oppose our testimony, the RIGHTEOUS ONE says to let them alone, trust HIM to contend with them for HE knows their hearts, minds and thoughts. Since we do not, pray for them to come to their senses while there is an opportunity…but let them alone so we are not casting our pearls before swine.

Because, "Righteousness exalts a nation, sin is a reproach to any people." [Proverbs (Mishle) 14. 34 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Any nation led by righteous leaders will produce a quiet and peaceable life in morality and honesty, by establishing an ethical environment in which men can be saved and come unto the knowledge of the Truth. We must pray for DIVINE guidance for our leaders and express our concerns to them and our fellow-man. After our admonitions (warnings) are rejected we must let them alone. [Vote them out of office when such action applies and is possible.]

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation. May YOUR will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel, Amen. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honoured, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else throughout eternity. Blessed are YOU beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen..

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
When the out-look is destitute, try the UP-look.

DECEIT DESTROYED
"For YOU are not a GOD (EL) wHO desires wickedness; evil cannot abide with YOU; wanton men cannot endure in YOUR sight. YOU detest all evildoers; YOU destroy those who speak lies; murderous, deceitful men the LORD abhors." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word "mirmah" literally means false, guile, subtle, treachery, fraud, deceitful. The ALMIGHTY ONE is JUST & HOLY and HE hates deceit in all forms. HIS justice demands punishment for whoever will not accept HIS merciful sacrifice for sin. Deceivers are good for nothing, like salt that has lost its savor. The LORD GOD has no pleasure in this type of person.

The evil and the wicked "cannot abide with YOU." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The word abide or dwell can also be translated as to stand in awe. "Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in dread (awe, trepidation, fear) of HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 33. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This is the only acceptable response to the LORD GOD, CREATOR of heaven and earth. Those who have received the LOVING CREATOR'S merciful grace can but bow in humble gratitude in the majestic PRESENCE of his RIGHTEOUS MAKER. The wicked and evil person has no intimate relationship with the BLESSED REDEEMER, but one day to HIM — "every knee shall bow." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 45. 23 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The boastful shall not stand in YOUR sight; YOU hate all workers of iniquity." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] A fool rages and boasts of his own deeds, but he will not have any standing before OMNIPOTENT GOD WHOSE justice requires one-hundred percent holiness. And for those who work iniquity either systematically or habitually, the LORD pronounces HIS justice on these religious pretenders. HE will say to them, "I do not know you depart from ME, all you workers of iniquity." And, "there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." [Luke 13. 27 - 28]

BIBLICAL hatred has no room for personalities. A hateful person is the same as one who opposes the LORD OF GLORY. To hate the HIGH & LOFTY MERCIFUL CREATOR is to be HIS enemy; and to hate TRUE & LIVING GOD is to find oneself outside HIS mercy. But all who fear HIS NAME can say — "I, through YOUR abundant love and mercy, will come into YOUR House; I bow down in awe and worship toward YOUR Holy Temple." [Psalms (Tehillym) 5. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim] On the other hand, "there shall by no means enter it (the New Heaven & Earth) anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE." [Revelation 21. 27] "And you shall know that I, the LORD your GOD (YEHOWAH ELOHEYKM), dwell in Zion, MY Holy Mount. Then Jerusalem shall be holy; nevermore shall strangers pass through her again." [Joel (Yoel) 3. 17 Tanakh, Nevi’im] More and more, I long for the righteousness of CHRIST, my BELOVED REDEEMER.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O GOD, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking guile (deceit). Be my SUPPORT when grief silences my voice, and my COMFORT when woe bends my spirit. Plant humility in my soul, and strengthen my heart with perfect faith in YOU. Help me to be strong in trials and temptations and to be humble always before YOU, my STRONG-TOWER. Guide me by the LIGHT of YOUR counsel, and let me ever find rest in YOU — my ROCK and my REDEEMER. Praised be the LORD GOD ETERNAL to WHOM all praise is due for ever and ever. Amen!
To have hope that is certain and faith that is sure, we must spend some time daily in GOD’S WORD to us so we can learn, understand and be firmly grounded in what HE has to teach us. How can we follow someone we don’t truly know and trust? We must read to know because the ONLY SOURCE OF TRUTH is what is written.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The highest rewards for man’s toil is not what he gets for it, but what he becomes by it. How lovely it is to be nothing when GOD is all!

REDEEMED, INCORRUPTIBLE
"For thus says the LORD — You have sold yourselves for no price, and shall be redeemed without money." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 52. 3 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

What a glorious promise, though we sold ourselves to the slavery of sin, the LORD YESHUA paid the price to redeem us back to HIMSELF. Therefore, we should "conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear; knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 17 – 19]

There is not enough wealth or riches in this world that could redeem even one single soul, for gold and silver are corruptible elements in a world under "the bondage of corruption." [Romans 8. 21] For everything in the physical creation is decaying and dying. In fact, one day all these "elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up." [2 Peter 3. 10] Yes, the LORD has warned that in HIS fierce anger, "all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of MY jealousy." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3. 8 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

Furthermore, the seeds which transmit life are "corruptible seed" [1 Peter 1. 23], and all mankind is "corruptible man." [Romans 1. 23] Everywhere and everything in this universal falls under the principle of decay as one of its most basic laws — the law of increasing turmoil and instability. . . but GOD is still in complete control.

However, in spite of the chaos and distortion in this corrupt world, some things are incorruptible. The greatest of these definitely being the "incorruptible...WORD OF GOD which lives and abides forever." [1 Peter 1. 23] Though "heaven and earth will pass away, but MY WORDS will by no means pass away." [Matthew 24. 35] "The WORD of our GOD stands forever." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 40. 8] "The LORD...will exalt HIS law and make it honorable." [Isaiah/Yeshayah) 42. 21], for HE has magnified HIS WORD above HIS NAME. [Psalms/Tehillym 138. 2] HIS NAME and promises are above all things.

We are redeemed, not by silver and gold, "but with the precious blood of MESSIAH, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot." [1 Peter 1. 19] The LORD GOD HIMSELF is the glorious " incorruptible GOD" [Romans 2. 23], and HE has "begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of JESUS CHRIST from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away." [1 Peter 1. 3 – 4] We work, not as others, "to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown." [1 Corinthians 9. 25 ]

At last, our dying bodies will finally be redeemed, "we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality." [1 Corinthians 15. 51b – 53]

We are opulently, pensively, marvelously redeemed by the most precious blood of the LAMB, the KING OF GLORY. . . how I love to proclaim it.

We thank YOU and in the MAGNIFICENT NAME of YESHUA we pray, Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Man's way leads to a hopeless end — GOD'S way leads to an endless hope.

DISCERNING FALSE PROPHETS
"And should you ask yourselves — How can we know that the word was not spoken by the LORD? — IF the prophet speaks in the NAME of the LORD and the oracle does not come true, that oracle was not spoken by the LORD; the prophet has uttered it presumptuously; do not stand in dread (be afraid) of him." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 18. 21 - 22 Tanakh, Torah]

The test a true prophet of the LIVING LORD is to consider what they say. Do they call everyone to repent of their evil ways and doings and turn wholeheartedly back to ALMIGHTY GOD? The MOST HOLY ONE said, "IF they had stood in MY counsel, let them announce MY words to MY people, then they would have turned them from their evil ways and from the wicked acts they are doing." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 23. 22 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Because they seek to entice you away from the LORD your GOD, the penalty for a false prophet was death. "Do not assent or give heed to him. Show him no pity or compassion, and do not shield him; but take his life. Let your hand be the first against him to put him to death, and the hand of the rest of the people thereafter. Stone him to death, for he sought to make you stray from the LORD your GOD, WHO brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thus all Israel will hear and be afraid, and such evil things will not be done again in your midst." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 9 - 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im] To our shame and ultimate ruin, we have accepted and honored the false teachers instead of following the ALMIGHTY'S commands to destroy evil from among us. This is bringing GOD'S just wrath upon the whole world.

The testing of a prophet should never be based entirely on his ability to perform signs and wonders; but on the message he speaks. "If there appears among you a prophet or a dream-diviner and he gives you a sign or a wonder, saying — Let us follow and worship another god — whom you have not experienced — even if the sign or wonder that he named to you comes true, you shall not heed or listen to the words of that prophet or that dream-diviner. For the LORD your GOD is testing you to see whether you really love the LORD your GOD with all your heart and with all your soul." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Torah]

Absolute harmony of the prophet's message and deeds with the revealed WORD OF GOD, and the wholehearted commitment to the HOLY ONE HIMSELF, is an immediate test of a true prophet. His inward attitude will be expressed and he will walk after the LORD in fear and reverence, keep HIS commandments, and obey HIM — serving the LORD and clinging to HIS promises. "Follow none but the LORD your GOD, and revere none but HIM; observe HIS commandments alone, and heed only HIS orders; worship none but HIM, and hold fast to HIM." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 13. 5 Tanakh, Torah] Then, it will be well with our souls.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O EVER-FAITHFUL GOD, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking guild. Praised be the LORD GOD to WHOM all praise is due for ever and ever. Amen!

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
It is good to be a CHRISTian and know it, but it is better to be CHRIST-like and show it!

ENDURING FOREVER
"YEHOWAH abides (Hebrew: yashab — endure, continues, remains) forever; HE has prepared HIS Throne for judgment; it is HE WHO judges the world in righteousness, and rules the peoples in equity (uprightness, justice)." [Psalms (Tehillym) 9. 8 – 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This world will eventually pass away. "YOU, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of YOUR hands. They will perish, but You remain; and they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak YOU will fold them up, and they will be changed. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years will not fail." [Hebrews 1. 10 - 12]

But GOD, the EVERLASTING LIGHT is eternal and shall endure forever and HIS glory will remain. "May the glory of the LORD endure forever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 104. 31 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "YOURS is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen" [Matthew 6. 13]

The great and marvelous name of YEHOWAH will never change. "HIS NAME shall endure forever; HIS NAME shall continue as long as the sun." [Psalms/Tehillym 72. 17] Before the sun was, HIS NAME YINNON (the SUN). And, HIS righteousness never changes. [Psalms/Tehillym 112. 3] There are blessings in abundance for those who fear GOD.

Psalms 136 declares in each verse the enduring mercies of YEHOWAH. GOD'S perfect righteousness will last forever, thus they are ever enduring. How can we help but continually thank and extol HIM throughout eternity.

"Forever, O LORD, YOUR WORD is settled in heaven. YOUR faithfulness endures to all generations." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 89 – 90a Tanakh, Kethuvim] May our eyes be opened by YOUR HOLY SPIRIT to see the wondrous things that are recorded for us in YOUR Law. For it is by the WORD we are saved enduring to the end. [Matthew 24. 13 - 14] "But the WORD OF THE LORD endures forever...Now this is the WORD which by the GOSPEL was preached to you." [1 Peter 1. 25] "Heaven and earth will pass away, but MY words will by no means pass away." [Matthew 24. 35]

Because the HOLY ONE, the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith lives forever, so shall we. "HIS seed shall endure forever." [Psalms/Tehillym 89. 37] "Raise your eyes to the heavens, and look on the earth beneath. Though the heavens should melt away like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a garment, and its inhabitants die out like gnats; MY salvation will be forever, and MY righteousness will not be abolished." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 51. 6 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John 2. 17]

O LORD, be my FORTRESS and my REFUGE, feed me with YOUR knowledge and understanding that I may endure with perseverance and receive YOUR blessing.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
GOD'S Mercy Remembered: "I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the House of Israel, which HE has bestowed on them according to HIS mercies, according to the multitude of HIS lovingkindnesses. since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any GOD besides YOU, who acts for the one who waits for HIM. YOU meet him who rejoices and does righteousness, who remembers YOU in YOUR ways." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 63.7; 64:4-5]
We wish to take this opportunity to prayerfully ask a blessing on each of you — may you have firsthand knowledge of our LOVING SAVIOR and a personal relationship with HIM.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 16 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin Sun 17 Jan 2016, 10:40 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation. Your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.

WHAT THE LORD TOLERATES
"I wiped out nations: Their corner towers are desolate; I turn their thoroughfares into ruins, with none passing by. Their towns lie waste without people, without inhabitants. And I thought that you would fear ME, receive instruction, and that the punishment I brought would not be lost on you and cut off your vision. Instead, all the more eagerly you have practiced corruption in all your deeds. But wait for ME — says the LORD — for the day when I arise as an ACCUSER; when I decide to gather nations, to bring kingdoms together, to pour out MY indignation on them, all MY blazing anger. Indeed, by the fire of MY passion all the earth shall be consumed." [Zephaniah (Tsefanyah) 3. 6 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

ALMIGHTY GOD revealed HIMSELF in the HOLY SCRIPTURES as the UNIQUE MEASURE and the EMBODIMENT OF ABSOLUTE TRUTH. HE holds the extraordinary position of being CREATOR and SUSTAINER of the heavens and the earth, and all that HE created. Our GOD is omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowledge) and omnipresent (everywhere all at once) and HE is altogether righteous. There is no inconsistency, HE is perfect, holy and just.

When we insist on our doing what is right in our own eyes, apart from GOD'S holy standards; tolerate what HE does not tolerate, or fail to tolerate what HE does tolerate, we are sinning. Sin and iniquity are things the MASTER DESIGNER does not or will not tolerate. "Your iniquities have been a barrier between you and your GOD, your sins have made HIM turn HIS face away and refuse to hear you. For your hands are defiled with crime and blood and your fingers with iniquity. Your lips speak falsehood, your tongue utters treachery. No one sues justly, nor pleas for truth or pleads honestly. They rely on emptiness and speak falsehood, conceiving wrong and begetting evil." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 59. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Although the LORD OF HOSTS, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL does not tolerate sin, HE is more than tolerant of mankind; HE is compassionate and merciful. Prophets of old are replete with examples of GOD'S intolerance as well as HIS tolerance. They carefully spell out the consequences of sin. . . captivity, dispersion, hardship, suffering and death. They also tell the positive side of serving the LIVING GOD...redemption, renewal, eternal life and heavenly rewards.

The ALMIGHTY ONE not only has the unique right to be intolerant of our sin, but HE provides the "UNIQUE MEANS" to make us righteous. "THE WAY" has been provided for us to be reconciled to HIM, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you for making expiation for your lives upon the altar; IT IS THE BLOOD, as life, that effects expiation." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah] YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the ABSOLUTE TRUTH. The LORD JESUS said of HIMSELF — "I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. No one comes to the FATHER except through ME." [John 14. 6]

Therefore beloved, we should consider what manner of persons we ought to be in holy conduct and godliness, "looking for and hastening the coming of the Day of GOD, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat." [2 Peter 3. 12]

"For GOD did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be saved. He who believes in HIM is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the oNLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD." [John 3. 17 - 18] Only by acknowledging and agreeing with GOD'S intolerance of our sin can we discover that HE is also incredibly merciful and loving in providing MESSIAH YESHUA, THE WAY, to have a relationship with us. In the PERSON of the LORD JESUS, we can see how far ALMIGHTY GOD was willing to go in order for us to be made right. Thank you LORD JESUS for YOUR cleansing blood.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May your life be a witness and beneficiary of the MOST HIGH GOD'S care, love, and presence. HIS grace is greater then all our needs!
O GOD, do not keep silent; do not hold aloof; do not be quiet, O EL! For YOUR enemies rage, Your foes assert themselves, they plot craftily against YOUR people, take counsel against YOUR treasured ones. They say, “Let us wipe them out as a nation; Israel’s name will be mentioned no more.” Deal with them, O my GOD, make them like thistledown, like chaff driven by the wind, as a fire burns a forest, as flames scorch the hills, pursue them with YOUR tempest, terrify them with YOUR storm. Cover their faces with shame so that they seek YOUR NAME, O YEHOWAH. May they be frustrated and terrified, disgraced and doomed forever. May they know that YOUR NAME, YOURS alone is YEHOWAH, the GLORIOUS MASTER over all the earth. [see Psalms/Tehillym 83]
Giving thanks, praise, worship, honor and glory to the HOLY ONE WHO has redeemed us and made us HIS own peculiar people.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Guard well your thoughts, because they control you.

SWEET SMELL OF KNOWLEDGE
"Now thanks be to GOD WHO always leads us in triumph in CHRIST, and through us diffuses the fragrance of HIS knowledge in every place." [2 Corinthians 2. 14]

There is a special sweet fragrance that is dispersed and spreads throughout the world, which comes from redeemed ones living a CHRIST-filled life. "For we are to GOD the aroma of CHRIST among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? Unlike so many, we do not peddle the WORD OF GOD for profit. On the contrary, in CHRIST we speak before GOD with sincerity, like men sent from GOD." [2 Corinthians 2. 15 - 17]

In an acrostic poem, the delightful psalmist encouragingly persuades us to, "Taste and see how good the LORD is...blessed is the man who takes refuge in HIM! Fear the LORD, you his consecrated ones, for those who fear HIM lack nothing; those who seek the LORD lack no good thing." [Psalms (Tehillym) 34. 9 – 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] From Solomon's Song of Songs, the sweet ROSE OF SHARON, the LILY OF THE VALLEYS — "my perfume gave forth its fragrance. My beloved is to me a sachet of myrrh resting between my breasts. My beloved to me is a spray of henna blooms from the vineyards of En-Gedi." [Song of Songs (Shir ha'Shirim) 1. 12 – 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Like an offering before the LORD, we are to be an offering of pleasing odor to the LORD our GOD. "When I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the lands in which you are scattered, I will accept you as a sweet and pleasing aroma and I will be sanctified in you before the Gentiles. Then, when I have brought you into the land of Israel, to the country for which I lifted MY hand in an oath to give to your fathers, you shall know that I am the LORD. There you shall remember your ways and all the acts by which you defiled yourselves; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all the evils that you have committed. Then, O House of Israel, you shall know that I am the LORD, when I deal with you for MY NAME'S sake —not in accordance with your wicked ways and your corrupt acts —declares the LORD GOD." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 20. 41 – 44 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Therefore be followers of GOD as dear children. And walk in love, as CHRIST also has loved us and given HIMSELF for us, an offering and a sacrifice to GOD for a sweet-smelling aroma." [Ephesians 5. 1 - 2]

Know that your gifts are fruits to your account, "a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to GOD." Assuredly, "my GOD shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by MESSIAH YESHUA. Now to our GOD and FATHER be glory forever and ever, Amen" [Philippians 4. 19 - 20] Daily offer sacrifices of sweet aroma to the precious GOD OF HEAVEN, for HE is praiseworthy.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
All glory and praise to GOD ALMIGHTY for HE is our SURE HOPE in the days of evil. HE will not let us be put to shame not allow us to be dismayed. Beyond doubt, our SAVIOR is worthy of praise and glory without end!
Sundown yesterday marked the 1st day of Rosh Chodesh – the month of Shevat. May the days ahead be filled with worship and praises the our WONDERFUL SAVIOR.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Cynicism (pessimism) is idealism (optimism) gone sour.

MESSIAH IN THE OLD COVENANT
"Let me tell of the decree: the LORD said to me — YOU are MY SON, I have fathered YOU this day." [Psalms (Tehillym) 2. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

There are many monotheists today (specifically Muslims, Jews and liberal CHRISTians) who believe in one SUPREME GOD, but reject the deity of MESSIAH YESHUA. They argue that the doctrine that YESHUA was the unique SON OF THE MIGHTY GOD OF ISRAEL was invented by the early Christians and that the GOD of the OLD COVENANT had no SON. Orthodox Jews, in particular emphasize the Shema: "Hear, O Israel — the LORD our GOD, the LORD is one." [Deuteronomy/Devarim 6. 4 ] And the Muslims acknowledge that Allah has no sons, proving the one they worship is not the HIGH & HOLY GOD OF CREATION.

The fact, however, is that there are numerous verses in the OLD COVENANT that speak to prove that OMNIPOTENT GOD has an ONLY BEGOTTEN SON: The great promise of SOVEREIGN GOD to David affirms, "I will raise up your offspring after you...I will be a FATHER to HIM, and HE shall be MY SON...before ME YOUR Throne shall be established forever." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 7. 12, 14, 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Agur asked a rhetorical question: "WHO has ascended into heaven and come down? WHO has gathered the wind in the hollow of HIS hands? WHO has bound the waters in a garment? WHO has established all the extremities of the earth? What is HIS NAME, or HIS SON'S NAME, if you know it?" [Proverbs (Mishle) 30. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The book of Isaiah is replete with prophecies related to the ANOINTED SON OF GOD MOST HIGH: "Assuredly, my LORD will give you a sign of HIS OWN accord — Look, the virgin (Hebrew: almah— an engaged virgin) shall conceive and bear a SON, and shall call HIS NAME IMMANU'EL (literally meaning: with us is GOD)." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 7. 14] "For a CHILD has been born to us, a SON has been given us. Authority will be upon HIS shoulder. And, HIS NAME will be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE. Of the increase of HIS government and limitless peace there will be no end. Upon the David's Throne and over HIS Kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even evermore. The zeal of the LORD OF HOSTS shall bring this to pass." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Behold! MY SERVANT WHOM I uphold, MY ELECT ONE in WHOM I delight! I have put MY SPIRIT upon HIM; HE will teach the true way to the Gentiles. HE will not cry out, nor raise HIS voice, nor cause HIS voice to be heard in the street. A BRUISED REED, HE shall not break, and SMOKING FLAX, HE will not be snuffed out. HE will bring forth justice for truth. HE will not fail nor be discouraged, till HE has established justice in the earth; and the coastlands shall wait for HIS Teachings. Thus says GOD THE LORD, WHO created the heavens and stretched them out, WHO spread forth the earth and what it brings forth, WHO gives breath to the people on it and life to those who walk thereon...The LORD goes forth like a MIGHTY MAN; HE shall stir up HIS zeal like a man of war. HE shall cry out; Yes, shout aloud, HE shall prevail against HIS enemies." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 42. 1 – 5, 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Then there is the most definitely marvelous verse regarding YESHUA, the SON OF THE LIVING GOD found in the MESSIANIC Psalms which concludes with this exhortation: "Kiss the SON, lest HE be angry and you perish in the way when HIS wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all who take refuge in HIM." [Psalms (Tehillym) 2. 12 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Assuredly, the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is the HOLY ONE OF OLD, the ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON, the FIRST-BORN of the MOST HIGH the EXALTED KING of all ages. How truly amazing our GOD is!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We honor & praise the LORD YESHUA, the BLESSED ANOINTED ONE...our prayer for each of you is for the grace of our LORD JESUS CHRIST to be with your spirit.
My FATHER of mercies, MY PRAISE, do good in YOUR favor unto Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. For in YOU alone do we trust, O KING, high and exalted GOD, LORD of worlds. Rise up, O LORD, and YOUR enemies shall be scattered, and they that hate YOU shall flee before YOU. For out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the WORD OF THE LORD from Jerusalem.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The day is short, the work is plentiful, the laborers are slothful, the reward is much, and the MASTER is urgent.

COUNTED WORTHY
"Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the SON OF MAN." [Luke 21. 36]

The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA spoke these words as HE taught of HIS second coming, thus directing us to prepare our minds and hearts to "bear fruits worthy of repentance" [Matthew 3. 8] that we might escape the wrath that ALMIGHTY GOD will soon bring upon this corrupt and sinful world. The SOVEREIGN LORD is coming for those "who have not defiled their garments" and who walk daily with the RIGHTEOUS ONE in obedience of HIS commands; they too shall walk with HIM "in white, for they are worthy." [Revelation 3. 4]

Although some may preach and profess that man can never be worthy, the LORD YESHUA would not have commanded the impossible, for with HIM, all things are possible. "He who does not take his cross and follow after ME is not worthy of ME." [Matthew 10. 38]

The Apostle Paul continued to instruct and admonish us to walk worthy: "I, therefore, the prisoner of the LORD, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called." [Ephesians 4. 1] "We exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, that you would walk worthy of GOD WHO calls you into HIS OWN Kingdom and glory." [1 Thessalonians 2. 11 - 12]

May you be filled with the "knowledge of HIS will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may have a walk worthy of the LORD, fully pleasing HIM, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of GOD." [Colossians 1. 9 - 10] "In all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of GOD, that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of GOD, for which you also suffer." [2 Thessalonians 1. 4 - 5]

When YESHUA ha'MASHIACH returns, those found worthy will be raptured (caught up). "For the LORD HIMSELF will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of GOD. And the dead in CHRIST will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And thus we shall always be with the LORD." [1 Thessalonians 4. 16 - 17]

Those not worthy will be left behind. "It is a righteous thing with GOD to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the LORD JESUS is revealed from heaven with HIS mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know GOD, and on those who do not obey the GOSPEL of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. These shall be punished with EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION from the PRESENCE OF THE LORD and from the glory of HIS power, when HE comes, in that Day, to be glorified in HIS saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed. Therefore we also pray always for you that our GOD would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfill all the good pleasure of HIS goodness and the work of faith with power." [2 Thessalonians 1. 6 – 11; Psalms/Tehillym 50. 1 - 6]

If you ask why GOD does not do something about sin; the answer is that HE is definitely working out all things for our good. Beyond a doubt, the hand of the LORD GOD is working in the glove of human events.

As saints of the MOST HIGH GOD we are called to be worthy to escape, worthy to walk in the white garments, worthy of the calling, worthy of YESHUA OF NAZARETH and worthy of the Kingdom of GOD; just as the LAMB OF GOD proves to be worthy of all worship, adoration and praise with GOD THE FATHER: "Worthy is the LAMB WHO was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing! Amen" [Revelation 5. 12] Yes and Amen!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Oh, that men would give thanks to the MASTER OF MERCY & TRUTH for HIS steadfast love; that they would consider their latter end and return to the WONDROUS CREATOR. The LORD remembers HIS own, so when I call to mind, I have hope. GOD is merciful, gracious and slow to anger therefore we are not consumed. HIS compassions do not fail, they are new every morning. HE shows compassion according to the multitude of HIS mercies, HIS faithfulness is great. For those who wait on HIM, the LORD is good; and souls that hunger after HIM shall be satisfied, fully contented in HIS PRESENCE.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Be a disciple of Aaron, loving and pursuing peace, loving your fellow man and attracting him to the study of TORAH. [Hillel]

MISHKAN COVERING (Part 1 of 2)
"As for the lower cover of the Tabernacle, make it of ten strips of cloth; make these of fine twisted linen, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, with a design of cherubim worked into them." [Exodus (Shemot) 26. 1 Tanakh, Torah]

This covering is first of four made especially for the Tabernacle in the Wilderness — the LORD GOD wishes to dwell with HIS people. The Hebrew word for tabernacle is "mishkan" and the word "sheka" means "to dwell." Combined, one gets the word SHEKINAH meaning the place where GOD dwells. The DIVINE ONE gives instructions concerning this curtain before any specifications for the other coverings of the building. GOD'S dwelling is first "…in the beginning, GOD" — HE begins from HIMSELF.

OMNISCIENT ALMIGHTY GOD begins HIS instructions for its building with the ceiling. From the highest, GOD OMNIPOTENT comes down from Heaven, to earth. Each covering represents the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, the ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.

The Mishkan (Tabernacle) was to be of fine-twisted linen. Twined refers to the work of bleaching the linen, then twisting it to force the water out. Fine denotes spotlessness, innocence, and faultlessness as is seen in MESSIAH, the ANOINTED ONE. [Matthew 27. 3 - 4; 1 Peter 1. 19; 2. 22; 2 Corinthians 5. 21] YESHUA ha’MASHIACH was righteous, loved righteousness, and did right in all things. [Hebrews 1. 9] HE is the "RIGHTEOUS BRANCH." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 53. 11; Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 23. 5; Luke 23. 47; 1 John 2. 1]

This was the ceiling and completed the building. Without this covering that Holy Structure would be open and unfinished. So, when we step into the LORD YESHUA, HE makes us righteous. [1 Corinthians 1. 30] The ANOINTED ONE completes us, for we are covered over by HIM and called "the very righteousness of GOD in HIM." [2 Corinthians 5. 21]

The colors of this curtain are significant. First, the curtains themselves are of White Linen. This tells of MESSIAH'S righteousness. Blue is typical of Heaven, a serene color closely linked with gold, which represents DIVINITY. [Exodus/Shemot 28. 6, 15; 39. 2, 5, 8] JESUS came from Heaven. This is the first color, GOD is first. Scarlet is last; it is the color significant of earth. "Adam" is literally translated as "red earth." JESUS, the SUN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, is the "LAST ADAM." HE not only came from Heaven (blue), but HE came from earth (red).

Purple is the blending in-between color, blending the red and blue harmoniously. Purple is the royal color and is the emblem of heavenly and earthly glory. The LORD MESSIAH is as the purple, for HE is the GOD-MAN (blue-red). HE is the ROYAL ONE (purple), the KING of the Jews (red), and the KING of kings (blue). The EXALTED ONE said, "…with cherubim of CUNNING WORK shall you make them." Cunning work is a weaving which penetrates both sides. This represents workmanship of a more skillful and costly kind than needlework. The SKILLFUL WEAVER is the HOLY SPIRIT. The glory of GOD is hidden to all who stand outside the LORD JESUS.

These elaborate curtains were to hide the sacred furniture and services of the sanctuary from those on the outside. Only those who enter the Tabernacle saw the glory, beauty exhibited by the colors and design of the inner curtains, the beautiful gold-covered boards and furniture, etc. GOD THE FATHER is only known in MESSIAH YESHUA. Here on the inside, the skillful weaving is predominate in the PERSON, LIFE and MINISTRY of the LORD JESUS. The cunning weave of the colors perfectly blended together with the design of the cherubim all tell us of the perfect work of the HOLY SPIRIT.

The "Curious Work" of GOD in this first curtain also speaks of the ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT in the believer. [Ephesians 2. 10; 4. 24; Colossians 3. 10] We are HIS workmanship and are identified with MESSIAH in the cunning work. By the HOLY SPIRIT, we are born of HIM, caught up in the curtain, inter-twined with CHRIST THE REDEEMER, woven in HIM and partakers of the divine nature! The Mishkan curtain covered the boards of the building. The GREAT ENABLER, the HOLY SPIRIT covers, envelopes, submerges the church, and baptizes the believer with HIMSELF. This is the great desire and promise of the HEAVENLY FATHER.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make peace with the past so it doesn’t mess up your present.

MISHKAN COVERING (Part 2 of 2)
"As for the lower cover of the Tabernacle, make it of ten strips of cloth; make these of fine twisted linen, of blue, purple, and crimson yarns, with a design of cherubim worked into them." [Exodus (Shemot) 26. 1 Tanakh, Torah]

The cherubim (according to Ezekiel's vision) had four faces. [Ezekiel/Yehezke-El 1. 10; 10. 21] These Four Creatures are among the highest in the world — The Lion among wild beasts; the Ox among tame cattle, the Eagle among birds; and Man among all creatures; but, GOD is supreme over all. The OX, LION, MAN and EAGLE tell us of the Four-Fold Ministry of the UNIVERSAL MESSIAH:

THE OX (MESSIAH is symbolized as the SERVANT in Mark's Gospel) is the patient, enduring SERVANT of man. The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA came as a "SERVANT" — HE is the BELOVED SAVIOR/REDEEMER. YESHUA serves mankind with HIS wonderful salvation. HE came, not to be ministered to, but to minister and give HIS life a ransom for many. [Matthew 20. 28]

THE LION (The LORD JESUS is shown as the KING in Matthew's Gospel) is the king of beasts. YESHUA ha'MASHIACH has power and dominion on the earth. Our WONDERFUL LORD is called "The LION of the tribe of Judah." HE has all dominion and did exercise this power while on earth as KING OF THE JEWS. HE came to destroy the works of Satan. [1 John 3. 8] CHRIST JESUS is the GREAT PHYSICIAN.

THE EAGLE (John's text shows CHRIST JESUS to be the SON OF THE LIVING GOD) is the king of the birds, soaring high into the heavens and most feared by the snake. JESUS is the KING of kings. HE is the MIGHTY BAPTIZER with the HOLY SPIRIT [Matthew 3. 11] causing HIS people to rise on wings into the Heavens with HIM.

THE MAN (Luke pictures YESHUA, the SON OF MAN) Daniel saw YESHUA coming in the Clouds of Glory calling HIM the "SON OF MAN." When the LORD JESUS came the first time, HE was rejected of man; but when HE returns, HE will be THE MAN over men, the PRAISEWORTHY RULER over mankind. All the governments of the world shall be upon HIS shoulder. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 9. 6] Our SOVEREIGN LORD will reign forever and ever!

According to Jewish teachings: "The encampment of Israel around the Tabernacle was marked by banners or standards picturing the four-faces of the cherubim. The banner of the first three tribes bore the outline of a Lion, the second pictured Man, the third was an image of an Ox, and the fourth was the emblem of an Eagle — thus representing the same idea as the cherubim in the Holiest, the Veil, and the Tabernacle Coverings."

This PROMISED MESSIAH is the fulfillment of all these emblems and designs. HE is the STANDARD or BANNER heading all HIS redeemed. JESUS' SOVEREIGN NAME is YEHOWAH-NISSI, "The LORD, my BANNER." [Exodus/Shemot 17. 15]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, we share the blessed hope that is in YESHUA.
Be gracious to us ALMIGHTY LORD GOD that we may understand and fulfill the Teaching of YOUR WORD.
Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Unite our hearts to love and revere YOU and to learn YOUR WORDS and wisdom. LORD, YOU are my PRAISE, my STRENGTH, my FORTRESS, my REFUGE — in days of affliction and at all times.
May you have a heart to know YEHOWAH, that HE is the LORD of your life; oh, return to HIM with your whole heart. May you be delivered from trouble and harm, and when it comes - strengthened through it.
Heal us O LORD, make us righteous in YOUR sight we pray. Amen.
Step into the week with confidence and courage that GOD is with you and you will be overflowing with blessings; may gladness reign and your joy increase.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Ani l’dodi v’dodi lee — "I am to my BELOVED and my BELOVED is to me." [Song of Songs 6:3] These words sum up the relationship between GOD and HIS people.

POWER OF HIS PRESENCE
"We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the LORD." [2 Corinthians 5. 8]

This is a wonderful phrase of hope to those who have lost a loved one in death, if that soul has not spurned the magnificent love of GOD, whose life has produced a good CHRISTian testimony. Those who remain can be confident "concerning those who have fallen asleep" we do not "sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that JESUS died and rose again, even so GOD will bring with HIM those who sleep in JESUS." [1 Thessalonians 4. 13 - 14] "The presence of the LORD" and "the glory of HIS power" will be manifest "when HE comes, in that Day, to be glorified in HIS saints and to be admired among all those who believe, because our testimony among you was believed." [2 Thessalonians 1. 9 - 10]

Sadly however, there are many others who are "without CHRIST...aliens and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without GOD in the world." [Ephesians 2. 12] Although the LORD YESHUA has paid the full redemption price on the cross to have their sins forgiven and to give them eternal life, they refuse and despise HIS love and free gift of salvation. MESSIAH was grieved when HE made this statement concerning them, "you are not willing to come to ME that you may have life." [John 5. 40]

The time of judgment is near at hand when they will unfortunately learn that "anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the Lake of Fire." [Revelation 20. 15] However, all who know the joy of the presence of the BELOVED REDEEMER can know, as did Paul, that "to live is CHRIST, and to die is gain." [Philippians 1. 21] Then also, King David professed about the LORD — "YOU will teach me the path of life. In YOUR presence is perfect joy; delights are ever in YOUR right hand." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim; also Acts 2. 28]

We are confident also that MESSIAH YESHUA has risen from the dead "and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep...even so in MESSIAH all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order: CHRIST the firstfruits, afterward those who are CHRIST’S at HIS coming." [1 Corinthians 15. 20, 22 - 23] Throughout eternity we will be in the presence of HIS glory for HE will change our old body, whether in the grave or still living when HE comes HE, "will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to HIS glorious body, according to the working by which HE is able even to subdue all things to HIMSELF." [Philippians 3. 21]

Though it is not fully revealed what we shall be, "we know that when HE is revealed, we shall be like HIM, for we shall see HIM as HE is and everyone who has this hope in HIM purifies himself, just as HE is pure." [1 John 3. 2] The magnificent power of HIS glorious presence is an anticipated desire worth living and waiting for!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Bidding farewell to Shabbat — O FATHER in Heaven, in YOUR great love YOU appointed for us a day of rest, that in YOUR PRESENCE we may regain that freedom of the soul which comes through obedience to YOUR commandments. Quickened by YOUR SPIRIT, may we learn how to ennoble the things of earth by sanctifying them to YOUR service. We honor and praise the LORD YESHUA, the BLESSED ANOINTED ONE with our whole heart and all our being.
Have a terrific week as you draw closer to the MASTER!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A man’s service for the LORD GOD is sincere when he wants no publicity for it.

KNOWN OF GOD
"O LORD, YOU have examined me and know me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The most awesome (frightening, majestic, impressive, imposing, inspiring, convicting) attribute of the ETERNAL ONE is that HE knows everything about us. The OMNISCIENT CREATOR has searched (penetrated) us and knows (understands) us. Since ALMIGHTY GOD is both omnipotent (all-powerful) and omniscient (all-knowing), it follows that nothing escapes HIS conscious knowledge about us. HE observes our ordinary activities and knows our innermost thoughts. "When I sit down or stand up YOU know it; YOU discern my thoughts from afar." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 2 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "YOU observe my walking and reclining, and are familiar with all my ways." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew word "yada" is translated familiar and suggests that the HIGH & LOFTY LORD actually sees the formation of the words on our tongue before we begin to speak them. "There is not a word on my tongue but that YOU, O LORD, know it well." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] That means we are transparent to HIM; we cannot deceive the MOST HIGH GOD in any way. The ALMIGHTY ONE knows what I am going to think; I cannot hide anything from HIM. The BELOVED CREATOR knows more then we know about ourselves, and those things we won't even admit to ourselves.

Furthermore, the SUPREME LORD is everywhere around each one of us wherever we are or could be. "Where can I escape from YOUR SPIRIT? Where can I flee from YOUR PRESENCE? If I ascend to heaven, YOU are there; if I descend to Sheol, YOU are there too. If I take wing with the dawn to come to rest on the western horizon, even there YOUR hand will be guiding me, YOUR right hand will be holding me fast." [Psalms (Tehillym) 139. 7 - 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] There is no escape from the PRESENCE of the ALMIGHTY; HE is wherever we go.

The Apostle Paul once perceived, "For in HIM we live, and move, and have our being." [Acts 17. 28] This very intimate and complete knowledge about us is what makes salvation of the LOVING LORD OF HOSTS, the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL such a marvelous matter, "for when we were still without strength, in due time the LORD JESUS died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare die. But GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, MESSIAH died for us." [Romans 5. 6 - 8]

How great the KING OF THE UNIVERSE must have loved us to create us in HIS IMAGE; yet even greater love did the LORD GOD OF JACOB show us in making us conscious that we are created in the DIVINE IMAGE. . . then, by HIMSELF, dying to redeem what HE so loved! Such wonderful, extravagant, amazing love!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May your ever-growing faith in the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH grant you the privilege to witness and experience the marvelous miracle of being delivered from the yoke of slavery to sin and all snares that entangle you to rob you of your integrity as a child of the KING. For the LORD your GOD will save those found worthy from the hands of the wicked and rescue you from the clutches of the violent as you stay rooted and grounded in HIM.

Post  Admin Sat 09 Jan 2016, 11:18 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A real CHRISTian is...preposterously happy, completely fearless, and constantly in trouble.

VICTORY IN MESSIAH
"Put on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts." [Romans 13. 14]

To accomplish his goals, the self-made person may pull himself up by the shoe laces while the world looks on him with encouragement. However, the man of GOD clings to MESSIAH to accomplish GOD’S purposes as the LIFE-GIVING WORD works in him through sanctification. This type of double thinking exceeds beyond all dichotomies in significance. Man either makes his own itinerary and produces worldly things that do not satisfy, or abides in MESSIAH YESHUA and brings forth much fruit. "I am the VINE, you are the branches. Whoever abides in ME, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without ME you can do nothing." [John 15. 5]

HOLY SCRIPTURE teaches that GOD’S will for believers is sanctification (dedication, set apart for). "For this is the will of GOD, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not in passion of lust." [1 Thessalonians 4. 3 - 5] We also know that our flesh wars against the SPIRIT: "For the flesh lusts against the spirit, and the spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another." [Galatians 5. 17] Our flesh has a bent or tendency to be proud and independent. The spirit waits for humility and self-denial before graciously leading the surrendered heart back to allowing MESSIAH to rule.

As a follower of MESSIAH YESHUA, we remember that GOD "gives us the victory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST." [1 Corinthians 15. 57] While the world speaks of many types of victories, we ultimately discover that they are shallow experiences, empty and unfulfilling when the glory is faded from other’s praise. "For whatever is born of GOD overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world — our faith." [1 John 5. 4]

It is only with the LOVING MASTER that we have true victory! We "who worship GOD in the SPIRIT, rejoice in MESSIAH YESHUA, and have no confidence in the flesh." [Philippians 3. 3 - 4] Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, though he had everything a man could want by the world’s standards, eventually discovered that it was all vanity without GOD. At the conclusion, he admittedly proclaimed that the whole duty of man is to "Fear GOD and keep HIS commandments, this applies to all mankind." [Ecclesiasts (Kohelet) 12. 13 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

We must stay zealously aware of the intense battle between the flesh and the spirit and determine to put on the new man, made in HIS image — the one GOD created us to be like HIS SON. "Be renewed in the spirit of your mind…put on the new man which was created according to GOD, in true righteousness and holiness." [Ephesians 4. 23 - 24]

It is the LORD WHO will bring about another great victory, for it is "not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS mercy." [Titus 3. 5] As we mature in the LORD and make every effort to attain true victory we continue to "press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of GOD in CHRIST JESUS." [Philippians 13. 14]

"YOURS, O LORD, is the greatness, the power and the glory, the victory and the majesty — yes, all that is in heaven and on earth is YOURS; YOURS is the Kingdom, O LORD, and YOU are exalted as head above all." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 29. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcoming Shabbat: One day a week we unplug from the incessant noise and hard work of doing to refocus on just being. Shabbat brings an inner peace within oneself, and provides a weekly opportunity to connect and relate to family, friends and GOD. Life should be built around the family coming together — to eat, to learn, to celebrate, to mourn, and most importantly to transmit the torch of our shared heritage to the next generation. Being a follower of MESSIAH YESHUA nurtures the awareness that GOD is actively involved in everything. There are no accidents; everything that happens to us is purposeful and for the best. We can feel secure knowing that we are wrapped in GOD’S loving embrace.
We give thanks and praise to the LORD GOD our GUARDIAN & REDEEMER. May the love of your HOLY NAME and YOUR Law be rooted deep in our soul and quicken every heart to draw nearer to YOU. May our knowledge of YOU rise like the morning dawn as our longings and aspirations reach out toward a higher goal. May our faith be unshaken and our heart undismayed as we labor and wait for the fulfillment of YOUR prophets of old. And, may YOUR Law be established in the hearts of men and that YOUR children unite in peace and love to serve YOU, our ALMIGHTY AWESOME GOD. Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Some things have to be believed to be seen!

VOICE FROM HEAVEN
"Now MY soul is troubled, and what shall I say? FATHER, save ME from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour. FATHER, glorify YOUR NAME. Then a VOICE came from heaven, saying — "I have both glorified it and will glorify it again." [John 12. 27 - 28]

This was the last of three remarkable times during the earthly ministry of MESSIAH YESHUA when GOD THE FATHER spoke directly from heaven concerning HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON. The first was when John baptized YESHUA in the Jordan River — "When HE had been baptized, JESUS came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to HIM, and HE saw the SPIRIT OF GOD descending like a dove and alighting upon HIM. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying — This is MY BELOVED SON, in whom I am well pleased." [Matthew 3. 16 – 17; also, Mark 1. 9-11; Luke 3. 21 - 22]

This was primarily given to the John, who was the forerunner of MESSIAH in the likeness of Elijah, who said — "I saw the SPIRIT descending from heaven like a dove, and HE remained upon HIM. I did not know HIM, but HE WHO sent me to baptize with water said to me — Upon whom you see the SPIRIT descending, and remaining on HIM, this is HE WHO baptizes with the HOLY SPIRIT. And I have seen and testified that this is the SON OF GOD." [John 1. 32 - 34]

The second time the VOICE spoke concerning the SON was to three chosen disciples, Peter, James and John at MESSIAH’S transfiguration. And behold, "a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying — This is MY BELOVED SON, in WHOM I am well pleased. Hear HIM!" [Matthew 17. 5] In later years, Peter recalled and wrote of this experience — "For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, but were eyewitnesses of HIS majesty. For HE received from GOD THE FATHER honor and glory when such a VOICE came to HIM from the EXCELLENT GLORY: "This is MY BELOVED SON, in WHOM I am well pleased." And we heard this VOICE which came from heaven when we were with HIM on the holy mountain." [2 Peter 1. 16 - 19]

The last illustrious words from the FATHER were in direct response to the prayer of HIS BELOVED SON, at the beginning of the final week before HE was crucified. The message was to HIS SON, yet at the same time it was for the people. YESHUA said, "This VOICE did not come because of ME, but for your sake. Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out. And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to MYSELF." This HE said signifying by what death HE would die." [John 12. 19 - 30 33]

When GOD THE FATHER spoke from heaven, the message was to assure and encourage all HIS dear saints for all time. The LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH is the SON in whom GOD is glorified in. Now, it’s your choice, will you be obedient to the MASTER and hear HIM? Your eternal life depends on it.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O FATHER, forgive us, for foolishly we have strayed from YOU. O KING, pardon us for our sins are many. LORD OF HOSTS, WHO dwells above, YOU alone are GOD. Draw us nearer to YOU, for we seek repentance. Remember us unto life, be gracious to us according to YOUR abundant mercy. Thank YOU for your hand that is stretched out to receive all who repent, therefore we seek you early. O RIGHTEOUS ONE of mercy, glorify and cleanse us from sin and guilt. Forgive us our trespasses, though they are many, hear us, GOD of our fathers. Let not the gates of repentance be closed, bring us near to YOU, O GOD. For YOUR forgiveness, YOUR love, long-suffering, abundant kindness, infinite goodness and governing the whole world in mercy we both desire and wait for. Make us again, YOUR heritage. Thank YOU for the honor of being YOURS; we truly are humbled and so grateful. Amen!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Make peace with the past so it doesn’t mess up your present.

WORKS MADE MANIFEST
"Each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is." [1 Corinthians 3. 13]

This SCRIPTURE is the key verse that gives the principle by which the SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE will evaluate our works in that Great Day when all will be assembled before "the Judgment Seat of CHRIST." [Romans 14. 10; 2 Corinthians 5. 10] This is the time when the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE will separate the good from the bad — the sheep from the goats — the righteous will be invited into the Kingdom, and the unrighteous will be thrown into the Eternal Fire. [Matthew 25. 31 - 46] "For the SON OF MAN will come in the glory of HIS FATHER with HIS angels, and then HE will reward each according to his works." [Matthew 16. 27] When the purifying fire tries our works, "if anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire." [1 Corinthians 3. 14 - 15]

Take careful notice of the basis which the LORD GOD uses to determine the rewards or the loss of rewards…it is not the amount of work done — the number of witnessing contacts or souls won to the BELOVED MASTER, not the number of peoples taught, nor the amount of money given. Neither are rewards based on the type of work done; mental or physical labor is no less eligible for heavenly rewards than is the ministry of the GOSPEL.

The criterion of the eternal value of a believer’s work on earth is what sort it is! Specifically, what is the motivation of the work, the sincerity, the dedication, the obedience? In other words, the quality, rather then the quantity of results or type of occupation. It is not the nature of the work or its size, but the sort (quality) that is being judged. YESHUA knows that "he who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much" [Luke 16. 10; Matthew 25. 21], so HE will "give to every one according to his work." [Revelation 22. 12]

Therefore, "whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the LORD and not to men, knowing that from the LORD you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the LORD CHRIST." [Colossians 3. 23 - 24] "And behold, I am coming quickly, and MY reward is with ME, to give to every one according to his work." [Revelation 22. 12] "Yes! — says the SPIRIT — that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them." [Revelation 14. 13] In all that you do, may your rewards go before you and the LORD your GOD will graciously bless you.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world of YOUR creation. May YOUR will be fulfilled and Your sovereignty revealed in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel. May YOU be blessed forever, even to all eternity. May YOU, MOST HOLY ONE, be blessed, praised & honored, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Blessed are YOU beyond all blessings & hymns, praises & consolations that may be uttered in this world, Amen.
May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and all Israel , Amen.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD knows, not only the deeds of the hand, but also the neglect of the heart.

SUFFERING & TRIUMPH
"I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End" — says the Lord — "who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty." [Revelation 1. 8]

There are seven great "I AM" — in the last book of the HOLY WRIT that are assertions by the glorified MESSIAH, all speaking of HIS ultimate victory over sin and death. However, in the book of Psalms seven vastly different "I AM" occur that speak prophetically of HIS sufferings. These are in four of the wonderfully fulfilled MESSIANIC psalms, all written some thousand years before HE came to earth, yet each psalm citied in the NEW COVENANT is fulfilled by the ANOINTED ONE:

"I AM a worm, and no man; less than human scorned by men, despised by the people." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] This verse compares SUFFERING MESSIAH to a mother “scarlet worm” who dies that her young may live, and in so doing, gives off a scarlet fluid which protects and nourishes her young.
"I AM poor and needy." [Psalms/Tehillym 40. 17]
"I AM a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother's children." [Psalms/Tehillym 69. 8] "For even HIS brothers did not believe in HIM." [John 7. 6]
"Reproach breaks my heart, I am in despair; I looked for someone to take pity, but there is none; for comforters, but find none." [Psalms (Tehillym) 69. 20 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
"I AM poor and sorrowful." [Psalms/Tehillym 69. 29]
"I AM like a sparrow alone on the housetop." [Psalms/Tehillym 102. 7]
"MY days are like a lengthened shadow; I AM withered like grass." [Psalms (Tehillym) 102. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In contrast to these lonely sufferings of the SUFFERING MESSIAH, there are the glories that shall follow. The first being the opening text, followed by:
"I AM Alpha and the Omega, the FIRST and the LAST." [Revelation 1. 11]
"I AM the FIRST and the LAST. I AM He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I AM alive forevermore. Amen" [Revelation 1. 17 - 18]
"I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts." [Revelation 21. 6]
"I Am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the FIRST and the LAST." [Revelation 22. 13]

The self-existing ONE, the I AM, YEHOWAH, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO created all things (Alpha) will one day triumph and make all things new, forever (Omega). This magnificent self-affirmation of the LORD YESHUA saturates and permeates HOLY SCRIPTURES from its first use, "I Am a SHIELD to you; your EXCEEDING GREAT REWARD" [Genesis/Bereshith 15. 1] to its final occurrence "I Am the BRIGHT & MORNING STAR." [Revelation 22. 16]

"He who testifies to these things says — "Surely I AM coming quickly." Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
The grace of our Lord Jesus CHRIST be with you all. Amen." [Revelation 22. 20 - 21]

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May the sweetness of the LORD’S prescience fill your day with love and tender grace — that HIS sweet peace and contentment abide in your homes. O GOD that YOUR perfect influences give us strength to do YOUR will with a steadfast, submissive and loving spirit and with a heart of wisdom. Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
As a rule, men love one another — from a distance. [Shalom Aleichem]

SIMPLICITY OR KNOWLEDGE
"How long will you simple ones love simplicity? you scoffers delight in scoffing? and you fools hate knowledge?" [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 22 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

It is recorded that this question, "How long will men continue to scoff at true knowledge?" — was being asked since early times; and it is still a most relevant question today. HOLY SCRIPTURE gives the answer, "The fear of the LORD is the beginning and best part of knowledge; fools despise wisdom, discipline and instruction." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Apostle Peter prophesied, "scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts saying — Where is the promise of His coming?" [2 Peter 3. 3 – 4] And Paul the Apostle warned, "in the last days perilous times will come. Men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers...unthankful, unholy...always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." [2 Timothy 3. 1, 2, 7]

Throughout history, men have scorned the true knowledge of GOD ETERNAL and HIS creation. Peter revealed that they are "willingly forgetful and ignorant." [2 Peter 3. 5] Paul again divulges, "they are without excuse" [Romans 1. 20], but they "delight in their scorning" anyway. As Zophar the Naamathite replied to Job, "An empty-headed man will be wise (get understanding), when a wild ass is born a man." [Job (Iyob) 11. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

It is remarkable that their hatred of GOD'S true knowledge is cloaked in a robe of "assumed knowledge — science" that even deceives many professing to be followers of MESSIAH. "Professing themselves to be wise, they become fools" [Romans 1. 22] despising the true wisdom and instructions of GOD'S WRITTEN TRUTH. Through deceit they have turned many from the LIVING GOD, their tongue is like a bent bow shooting arrows of treachery, denying and blaspheming the GREAT & MIGHTY LORD OF CREATION.

"To the Law (instruction) and to the testimony (message)! If they do not speak according to this WORD, it is because there is no light in them (thus there shall be no dawn)." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 8. 20] Therefore, the need to "take heed what you hear. With the same measure you use, it will be measured to you; and to you who hear, more will be given." [Mark 4. 24] Those who scorn GOD'S PRECIOUS WORD have no wisdom or understand at all despite their certificates, degrees, airs, pretensions or selfish superior egotism. "The wise store up knowledge; the mouth of the fool is near destruction, is an imminent ruin (nearing destruction)." [Proverbs (Mishle) 10. 14 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!" [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 29 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The HOLY ONE OF OLD would that HE could bless them, HE gives special emphasis in HIS LIFE-GIVING INSTRUCTIONS that HE might bless those who hear and obey what HE says.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May our lips ever declare praises to our KING, HELPER, SAVIOR & SHIELD for HIS loving kindness is mighty over us. Let us offer sacrifices of sweet aroma to the GOD OF HEAVEN continually, for HE is worthy of praise, adoration, honor and glory without end! O LOVING ALMIGHTY GOD, I thank YOU for being available to everyone in search of guidance for graciously accepting our humble prayers. Amen

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There is no distance between people of like precious faith.

GLORY IN TRIBULATION
"We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope." [Romans 5. 3 - 4]

The ability to endure suffering and loss with joy is one the most powerful proofs of the saving power of the CHRISTian faith. Paul, the apostle endured such afflictions, but still could "glory" in the many tribulations. Paul could actually "rejoice in hope of the glory of GOD" [Romans 5. 2] and "rejoice in GOD through our LORD JESUS CHRIST." [Romans 5. 11]

The remarkable ability to rejoice in tribulation characterized not only great CHRIST-like leaders like Paul, but ordinary believers in every walk of life. When the early followers of MESSIAH lost all their possessions in the great wave of persecutions they were encountering, the testimony was that you "joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in heaven. Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of GOD, you may receive the promise." [Hebrews 10. 34 - 36]

These early believers, like countless others throughout the years, "received the WORD in much affliction, with joy of the HOLY SPIRIT, so that you became examples" to all who believe. [1 Thessalonians 1. 6b – 7a] The suffering and death of the MAN OF SORROWS provided redemption for all who trust in HIM. The saints are able to endure tribulations with joy since we know to "rejoice to the extent that you partake of CHRIST'S sufferings, that when HIS glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy." [1 Peter 4. 13]

YESHUA, the MASTER OF MERCY, is the believer's EXAMPLE and HOPE in times of suffering. The LORD JESUS is our "LIVING HOPE" and "INCORRUPTIBLE & UNDEFILED INHERITANCE." [1 Peter 4. 13] And "for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD." [Hebrews 12. 2]

Thus, we can be "sorrowful, yet always rejoicing" [2 Corinthians 6. 10], knowing the joy of the LORD is our STRENGTH, and HE has promised that "your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you." [John 16. 22-b] When YESHUA, the LORD of all ages returns, those who know HIM will be glorified.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
If you plant honesty, you will reap trust. If you plant goodness, you will reap friends. If you plant humility, you will reap greatness. If you plant perseverance, you will reap contentment If you plant consideration, you will reap perspective. If you plant hard work, you will reap success. If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation. If you plant faith in MESSIAH YESHUA, you will reap a harvest. So, be careful what you plant now…it will determine what you will reap later. Two thousand years ago the Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Galatia the same story but with fewer words, "What you sow, so shall you reap." [Galatians 6. 7] "We are grass that will wither and die but the incorruptible seed of GOD'S WORD will live forever” [1 Peter 1.23 – 25] —sow it daily into the life of your family!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Smart is when you believe only half of what you hear. Brilliance is when you know which half to believe. Wise is when you believe ALMIGHTY GOD.

COMPROMISING & TOLERANCE
"Assuredly, this is the declaration of the SOVEREIGN, the LORD OF HOSTS, the MIGHTY ONE OF ISRAEL: — Ah, I will get satisfaction from MY foes; I will wreak vengeance on MY enemies! I will turn MY hand against you, and purge out your dross as with lye in a crucible, and take away all your alloy and slag." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 1. 24 - 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

I am certain that the MIGHTY OMNISCIENT RIGHTEOUS JUDGE of all ages has a special hell for fence-sitters. . . at least HE truly will judge them accordingly. Compromising (fence-setting) may be a survival technique that people have developed so they do not offend those who's beliefs differ from their own.

The LORD GOD is good, longsuffering, and HIS mercy endures forever to those who will bring the sacrifice of praise into the HOUSE OF THE LORD. [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 33. 11] Although ALMIGHTY GOD is compassionate and merciful, HE will not tolerate one who's mind-set is to sin, "As the LORD once delighted in making you prosperous and many, so the LORD will now delight in causing you to perish and in wiping you out; you shall be torn from the land that you are about to enter and possess." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 28. 64 Tanakh, Torah]

The LORD GOD ETERNAL alone is the UNIQUE MEASURE and PERSONIFICATION OF ABSOLUTE TRUTH. HE only is the CREATOR & SUSTAINER of everything in the heavens and the earth; and "in HIS hand, HE controls your life breath and all your ways." [Daniel (Danyel) 5. 23 - 24 Tanakh, Kethuvim; also see Job/Iyob 12. 10]

Paul the apostle warned against compromising the SACRED SCRIPTURES or tolerating any new concepts or re-defining the WORD OF GOD. "But there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the GOSPEL OF CHRIST. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed." [Galatians 1. 7 - 9] "For if he who comes preaches another JESUS whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted — you may well put up with it!" [2 Corinthians 11. 4]

When we tolerate what the ETERNAL LIVING GOD does not tolerate, what the HOLY BIBLE calls sin or iniquity — or compromise what the LORD SUPREME says is true for the sake of peace, we are falling short of the work we have been responsibly entrusted to do by the LORD YESHUA. Paul teaches that we are to "pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses...I urge you in the sight of GOD WHO gives life to all things...keep this commandment without spot, blameless until our LORD JESUS CHRIST appears." [1 Timothy 6. 11 - 15]

"If it seems evil to you to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve...But I and my household will serve the LORD, ELOHEY OF ISRAEL." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 24. 15 - 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Who are you serving?

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Sabbath, we bless the GRACIOUS GOD of our salvation and our help. Everything that lives shall give thanks to HIM forever and shall praise HIS HOLY NAME in truth. HE is ALL-GOOD, and unto WHOM it is becoming to give thanks. So we thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for YOUR WRITTEN WORD, it is our exceedingly great joy and our life-giving crown. Keep us ever grateful and grant us YOUR perfect peace.
Have a blessed week as we go forth into another year.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Peace is not the absence of pain. Peace is not the absence of pressure. Peace is confidence that the ALMIGHTY CREATOR knows what HE is doing and allowing HIM to reign and guide your life. "Fear the LORD and the king. Do not join with the rebellious, for disaster and destruction comes sudden from those two that are given to change; who knows the doom and calamity they can bring?" [Proverbs/Mishle 24. 21 – 22] . . .the precise proverb for biased rulers, it comes with warning for those subject to change.

ATONEMENT PRAYER FOR THE NEW YEAR
O LORD, open my lips, and my mouth shall declare YOUR praises. YOU are blessed, O LORD our GOD and GOD of our fathers, GOD of Abraham, GOD of Isaac, and GOD of Jacob, the great, mighty and revered GOD, the MOST HIGH GOD, WHO bestows lovingkindness, and possesses all things, who remembers the pious deeds of the patriarchs, and in love will bring the REDEEMER to their children’s children for YOUR REVERED NAME’S sake.

Remember us unto life, O KING, WHO delights in life, and inscribe us in the BOOK OF LIFE, for YOUR OWN sake, O LIVING GOD. O KING, HELPER, SAVIOR & SHIELD. Blessed are YOU, O LORD, the SHIELD of Abraham. YOU, O LORD, are mighty forever; YOU quicken the dead, YOU are mighty to save.

LORD, YOU sustain the living with lovingkindness, quicken the dead with great mercy, support the falling, heal the sick, loose the bound, and keep YOUR faithfulness to them that sleep in the dust. Who is like YOU, LORD of mighty acts, and who resembles YOU, O KING, WHO kills and quickens, and causes salvation to spring forth?

Who is like YOU, FATHER OF MERCY, WHO in mercy remembers YOUR creatures unto life? Yes! faithful are YOU to quicken the dead. Blessed are YOU, O LORD, WHO quickens the dead. YOU are holy and YOUR NAME is "HOLY" and holy beings praise YOU daily. Selah

Now, therefore, O LORD GOD, CAPTAIN OF THE HOST OF THE LORD, impose YOUR awe upon all YOUR works, and YOUR dread upon all that YOU have created, that all works may fear YOU and all creatures prostrate themselves before YOU that they may all form a single band to do YOUR will with a perfect heart, even as we know, O LORD our GOD, that dominion is YOURS, strength is in YOUR hand, and might in YOUR right hand, and that YOUR NAME is to be feared above all that YOU have created.

Give then glory, O LORD, unto YOUR people, praise to them that fear YOU, hope to them that seek YOU, and free speech to them that wait for YOU, joy to YOUR land, gladness to YOUR City, a flourishing horn to David YOUR servant, and a clear shining light to the SON of Jesse, YOUR ANOINTED, speedily and in our days.

Then shall the just also see and be glad, and the upright shall exult, and the pious triumphantly rejoice, while iniquity shall close her mouth, and all wickedness shall be wholly consumed like smoke, when YOU, my EVERLASTING PRAISE, make the dominion of arrogance to pass away from the earth.

And YOU, O LORD, shall reign, YOU alone over all YOUR works on Mount Zion , the dwelling place of YOUR wondrous splendor, and in Jerusalem , YOUR Holy City , as it is written in YOUR HOLY WORDS, "The LORD shall reign forever, your GOD, O Zion , unto all generations. HalleluYAH." [Psalms (Tehillym) 146. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

LORD GOD, YOU are holy, and dreaded is YOUR NAME, and there is no god beside YOU, as it is written — "And the LORD OF HOSTS is exalted by judgment, the HOLY GOD OF CREATION is sanctified in righteousness, proved holy by justice." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 5. 16 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Blessed are YOU, O LORD, the GLORIOUS HOLY KING.

YOU have chosen us from all peoples, YOU have loved us and taken pleasure in us, and have exalted us above all tongues; YOU have sanctified us by YOUR commandments, and brought us near unto YOUR services, O our KING, and have called us by YOUR GREAT & HALLOWED NAME. Blessed be the MAGNIFICENT NAME OF OUR LORD. Amen

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Good Sabbath! Come my dear friend, to meet the Bride, the Sabbath presence, let us welcome. We honor and praise the LORD YESHUA, the ONE WHO gives true Sabbath peace and rest and separates the sacred from the ordinary. Refresh yourself and others in the wisdom & discernment, love & kindness of the ALMIGHTY ONE — that you continue to experience some of the sweetness of Sabbath daily.
Our prayer: "FATHER, we ask YOU to bless our friends and family as we enter another year of service to YOU, the CHAMPION DEFENDER of our faith. We humbly ask YOU to minister to their spirit. Where there is pain, give them YOUR peace and mercy. Where there is self-doubting, release a renewed confidence in YOUR ability to work through them. Those who are tired and exhausted, we ask YOU to give them understanding, patience and strength as they learn submission to YOUR leading. Where there is spiritual stagnation, we ask YOU, LORD GOD to reveal YOUR nearness, drawing them into a greater intimacy with YOU. Where there is fear, reveal YOUR love and release to them YOUR boldness and courage. Where there is a sin blocking that intimate relationship with YOU, reveal it and break its hold over our loved one's life. Bless their finances, give them greater vision and raise up leaders and more friends to support and encourage them. Give each of our cherished ones discernment to recognize the evil forces around them and reveal to them the mighty power they have in YOU to defeat the foes. This we ask of YOU in the precious name of YESHUA, the MESSIAH & KING."
May the LORD JESUS dwell in your heart and keep you rooted and grounded in love and fill you with all the glorious blessings from GOD MOST HIGH.
"Now to HIM WHO is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the PRESENCE OF HIS GLORY with exceeding joy, to GOD our SAVIOR WHO alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever, Amen!" [Jude 25]

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

BE SEPARATE
"Come out from among them and be separate — says the LORD. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a FATHER to you, and you shall be MY sons and daughters — says the LORD ALMIGHTY." [2 Corinthians 6. 17 - 18]

This SCRIPTURE is talking about false teachings. To our tragic misfortune and affliction, the DOCTRINE of SEPARATION from "the unclean thing" is neglected today by many who profess to be CHRIST-like-ones. The Apostle Paul is warning against and earnestly urging us to "cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of GOD." [2 Corinthians 7. 1] Correspondingly in the OLD COVENANT, the commandment is there — "Depart! Turn Away! touch nothing unclean as you depart from there; keep pure, as you go forth from there, you who bear the vessels of the LORD!" [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 52. 11 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The "vision of holiness" is lost among many large divisions of the evangelical community; and people are loosing their will to survive. Instead of contending (fighting) for the faith, they accommodate other religions with vastly deviant doctrines and heretical or cultic theological systems as the wave of the future floods over them. Therefore, Evangelism becomes offensive and "defending the faith" becomes contemptuous according to the religiously [in-] correct rule of conduct. In reality, such accommodation is a new, more seductive form of universality than the brand liberal religionists passed off on a number of major denominations more than a half-century ago. This is a concept of humanism, communism, socialism, etc. which promotes a kind of brotherhood through forfeiture, surrendering, or relinquishment that does not and cannot exist in reality for anyone.

Separation does not mean to discontinue any contact at all with unbelievers "since then you would need to go out of the world." [1 Corinthians 5. 10] YESHUA, the LORD & KING commanded us to — "Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature." [Mark 16. 15] HE also prayed to the FATHER — "not that YOU should take them out of the world, but that YOU should keep them from the evil one." [John 17. 15]

The LORD GOD OF HOSTS does demand, however, that we are not to compromise with unbelief or with the unclean thing. We are "born anew" into the family of the ALMIGHTY & HOLY GOD through simple faith in the PERSON and saving work of the LORD JESUS. The full manifestation and fellowship of our relation with the HEAVENLY FATHER as HIS spiritual sons and daughters is based on the profound principle of "separation from all unbelief and filthiness of the flesh" with YESHUA ha'MASHIACH as our PERFECT EXAMPLE. "For such a HIGH PRIEST was fitting for us, WHO is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens." [Hebrews 7. 26]

It is one thing to have eternal life by faith (trust); it is quite another thing to have abundant life by faith (confidence). It is one thing for you to become the righteousness of GOD in MESSIAH YESHUA — and another for you to realize HIS righteous life is in you. And, to realize the life you live in MESSIAH is compared to HIM living life through you.

We are specifically warned to turn away from those who present false doctrine while "having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof." [2 Timothy 3. 5] This is particularly applicable today for those who attempt to accommodate the coarse unrefined attitude of modern humanism and make it appear to be within the HOLY WRITTEN SCRIPTURES. We are to be a holy, undefiled, separate, unique, set-apart, extraordinarily special people to GOD MOST HIGH having the sweet fragrance of HIS PRESENCE dwelling withIN us.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We pray for abundant blessings to our family of friends. May it be YOUR will that our homes become a sanctuary worthy of YOUR HOLY PRESENCE wherein YOUR NAME shall be hallowed, that YOU may come and grant YOUR blessings and YOUR divine grace be made manifest daily. We give ourselves over into YOUR keeping, our hearts contrite, and our prayers made with a repentant heart. May our praises to YOU, O LORD, be a sweet-smelling, fragrant spice in YOUR nostrils.
Remember, GOD'S answers are wiser than our prayers. The LORD is our STRENGTH, our FORTRESS, our REFUGE in the day of affliction...when all our trust and hope is in HIM.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

 A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Old age is like a plane flying through a storm. Once you€ ¢â’ ’¹re aboard, there€ ¢â’ ’¹s nothing you can do. [Golda Meir]

NUMBERING OUR DAYS
"So teach us to number our days rightly, that we may obtain a heart of wisdom." [Psalm (Tehillym) 90. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This prayer of counsel is written as a psalm, a great word of advise written by Moses as he was about to finish his long life of service to the SUPREME Lord. He had lived 120 years, although the normal life span is only seventy or eighty. Moses€ ¢â’ ’¹ first forty years were spent serving the Egyptians; his next forty years were tending sheep for his father-in-law, Jethro in Midian; and then his service to GOD was forty years delivering Israel from Egyptian bondage and shepherding them in the wilderness on the way to the Promised Land.

Thus, Moses stressed the vital importance of "numbering our days" so that we may determine to wisely use whatever time we have individually. In Deuteronomy Moses also wrote: "Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!" [Deuteronomy/Devarim 32. 29]

The SOVEREIGN ONE counsels throughout HOLY SCRIPTURE to number our days while "redeeming the time." [Colossians 4. 5] We know not when the LORD will return or death will overtake us. "Walk circumspectly (carefully), not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." [Ephesians 5. 15 - 16] "Do not boast of tomorrow, for you do not know what a day will bring forth." [Proverbs (Mishle) 27. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away." [James 4. 14]

Whatever this New Year may bring into your life, be it chaos, prosperity or death, no matter what evil comes on this earth € ¢â’ ’´ the days will still afford opportunity to serve the LOVING ETERNAL GOD, our MIGHTY LORD OF HOSTS. "Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us but to YOUR NAME bring glory, because of YOUR love, YOUR faithfulness, and YOUR mercy." [Psalms (Tehillym) 115. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Beloved, "build yourselves up on your most holy faith € ¢â’ ’´ keep yourselves in the love of GOD, looking for the mercy of our LORD JESUS CHRIST unto eternal life." [Jude 20 - 21] Whatever time we have, let us make our days count exclusively for the MASTER.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Thank you for being a part of our life! As we enter another year, we prayerfully urge each of you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD in the bond of peace. What we can accomplish on our own is hardly noteworthy. But, in the hand of the MASTER, our life's work can be truly beautiful. May the grace of our precious LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH be with your spirit every moment of each new day.

Our prayerful desire for you: Comfort on difficult days; Smiles when sadness intrudes; Rainbows to follow the clouds; Laughter to kiss your lips; Sunsets to warm your heart; Gentle hugs when spirits sag; Friendships to brighten your being; Beauty for your eyes to see; Confidence for when you doubt; Faith to believe; Courage to be bold; Patience to accept the truth, and tender Love that is eternal.

We asked GOD to bless you when we prayed for you today, to guide you and protect you on your way € ¢â’ ’´ HIS love is always with you, HIS promises are sure. No matter what tribulation comes, HE is faithful to see us through. So when the road you're traveling seems difficult at best, give your problems to the LORD, and our MIGHTY & AWESOME GOD will do the rest.
Love, in MESSIAH’¹S service  Rabbi Del & Rifkah

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 16 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin Thu 31 Dec 2015, 12:17 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
An apology is a good way to have the last word.

BEING BORN ANEW
"The SPIRIT HIMSELF bears witness with our spirit that we are children of GOD." [Romans 8. 16]

Every born-again child of the MOST HIGH GOD has the threefold proof of their new birth...proof that he does belong to the KING OF GLORY. This threefold proof is first Inward; second, Outgoing; and third, Outward:

INWARD: Whoever believes that JESUS is the MESSIAH is born of God. "He who believes in the SON OF GOD has the witness in himself; he who does not believe GOD has made HIM a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that GOD has given of HIS SON. And this is the testimony: that GOD has given us eternal life, and this life is in HIS SON. He who has the SON has life; he who does not have the SON OF GOD does not have life." [1 John 5. 10 - 13] This is inward proof of the new birth.

OUTGOING: "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of GOD; and everyone who loves is born of GOD and knows GOD. He who does not love does not know GOD, for GOD is love. In this the love of GOD was manifested toward us, that GOD has sent HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON into the world, that we might live through HIM. In this is love, not that we loved GOD, but that HE loved us and sent HIS SON to be the PROPITIATION for our sins. Beloved, if GOD so loved us, we also ought to love one another." [1 John 4. 7 - 11] We are to love our fellow man with the love of GOD. This we are not capable of doing in the flesh; we must let the ALMIGHTY ONE love man through us. "Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of GOD has been poured out in our hearts by the HOLY SPIRIT WHO was given to us." [Romans 5. 5] This is Outgoing proof of the new birth.

OUTWARD: "If you know that HE is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of HIM." [1 John 2. 29] If you are born of the MASTER, you will make a practice of doing right at all times and at all cost. "Therefore, if anyone is in CHRIST, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." [2 Corinthians 5. 17] This is Out-ward proof of the In-ward new nature.

Therefore, since we are now a "new creation" — we cannot say "that we are just human" — for we are not, we are just that..."a new creation." [Galatians 6. 15] It is the LORD, the MASTER DESIGNER, WHO "created man's spirit within him." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 12. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Believing there is an EVER-LIVING HEAVENLY CREATOR won't save you. But knowing "The ONE" WHO redeemed us and serving HIM as LORD of our lives will. . . IF we keep HIS commandments — that's what is significant. We are MIGHTY ONE'S vehicle to express HIS thoughts, aims, emotions and actions to accomplish HIS purpose.

Therefore, let your conduct be worthy of the GOSPEL OF CHRIST, stand fast in one spirit with one mind striving together for the faith of the LIFE-GIVING TRUTH. Not only are we to believe in our LOVING YESHUA, but also to be prepared to suffer for HIS sake. The LORD JESUS said, "These things I have spoken to you, that in ME you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." [John 16. 33]

We can know of a certainty that we are the children of the MOST HIGH, "when we love GOD and keep HIS commandments." [1 John 5. 2] "Beloved, now we are children of GOD; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when HE is revealed, we shall be like HIM, for we shall see HIM as HE is." [1 John 3. 2] Oh such great joy…to be like our BLESSED SAVIOR and to be with HIM eternally.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May GOD’S blessings be on those who seek HIM in spirit and in truth. The GREAT NAME OF ALMIGHTY GOD will be magnified and sanctified in the world which HE has created.
Be gracious to us ALMIGHTY LORD GOD that we may understand and fulfill the Teaching of YOUR WORD. Enlighten our eyes in YOUR Law that we may cling to YOUR commandments. Unite our hearts to love, fully trust, and revere YOU and to learn YOUR WORDS and wisdom. LORD YOU are my PRAISE, my STRENGTH, my FORTRESS, my REFUGE — in days of affliction and at all times.
As the year ends, this is a joyous time of celebration for family and friends gatherings during this time of remembering miracles and giving thanks to the ALMIGHTY for HIS wondrous love and provisions.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
To be a CHRISTian is not practicing a religion, it is a personal relationship with CREATOR GOD. You either have HIM or you don’t; you either trust and believe HIM, or you don’t.

GENERATIONAL TEACHING
"Heed my children, the instruction of a father; listen and learn discernment and understanding, for I give you good doctrine: Do not forsake my teaching. When I was a son to my father, the tender darling of my mother, he taught me..." [Proverbs (Mishle) 4. 1 – 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In this passage, Solomon, the wisest man that ever lived, credited his parents for instructing him in the way of wisdom. The famous insights into a virtuous woman are specifically attributed to his mother, Bathsheba: "The words of Lemuel (a symbolic name for Solomon meaning "belonging to GOD"), king of Massa , the utterance which his mother taught him." [Proverbs (Mishle) 31. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim] However, this wisdom can be traced back even earlier in his family lineage. We know that the grandfather of Bathsheba (daughter of Eliam, wife of Uriah the Hittite, 2 Samuel 11:3) was the wise advisor, Ahithophel the Gilonite. [see 2 Samuel/Shemuel Bet 23. 34] HOLY SCRIPTURE records — "In those days, the advice which Ahithophel gave was accepted as if one had inquired at the oracle of GOD; that is how all the advice of Ahithophel was esteemed both by David and by Absalom." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 16. 23 Tanakh, Nevi’im] Ahithophel was a consultant to kings.

ALMIGHTY GOD places the finest distinction on parents that will convey GOD’S wisdom and revelation to succeeding generations. Abraham was given special consideration, singling him out, because the HOLY ONE knew that he would "command his children and his household after him, to they keep the way of the LORD to do what is righteousness and justice." [Genesis (Bereshith) 18. 19 Tanakh, Torah]

In the NEW COVENANT, we note that the apostle Paul’s "son in the faith" was beneficiary of such a godly inheritance. "I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also." [2 Timothy 1. 5]

The Israelites were instructed: "You shall love the LORD your GOD with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words which I charge you this day shall be in your heart. You shall emphatically and meticulously teach them to your children. Recite them when you sit in your home, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you get up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Inscribe them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 6. 5 – 9 Tanakh, Torah]

This loving, devoted instruction implies a continual action and will result in the children learning wisdom and discernment. They will develop the capability to store up treasures of understanding and fearing the GREAT GOD of creation. Blessings and wisdom are promised over and over to those who know, love and obey GOD'S WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Praised and glorified is the name of the HOLY ONE, though HE is above all the praises which we can utter. HE is our GUIDE in life and our REDEEMER through all eternity. Our help comes from HIM, the CREATOR of heaven and earth.

Post  Admin Mon 28 Dec 2015, 11:35 am

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Even if you are on the right track, you will get run over if you just sit there!

LACKING KNOWLEDGE
"MY people are destroyed for lack of knowledge, destroyed because of your disobedience! Because you have rejected knowledge and spurned the Law (teachings) of your GOD, I reject you as MY priest. I, in turn, will spurn your children." [Hosea (Hoshea) 4. 6 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

This grievous bewailing lament applies to all nations nowadays. Though they once knew the MAGNIFICENT GOD OF ISRAEL, apostasy and humanism has taken over and has hardened the hearts of the masses. Therefore, the supporting principle of reaping what one sows is well-founded and appropriate. Parents and grandparents in today's world are seeing the awful scourge of moral debauchery (wickedness, dishonesty, betrayal) among their children and the young people. And, the shackles of wickedness are tightening because "you have forgotten the Law of your GOD."

GODly knowledge is rejected throughout the human race, therefore people are being "destroyed for lack of knowledge" and their willful disobedience. This ignorance exists despite an abundance of supposed actual knowledge (science) in our educational institutions, for the ALMIGHTY CREATOR has been outlawed. The intellectuals (?) of the day have forgotten that "the fear of the LORD is the beginning (best part) of knowledge, they are fools who despise wisdom and instruction." [Proverbs (Mishle) 1. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the LORD, and knowledge of QADOSHYM (the HOLY ONE) is understanding." [Proverbs (Mishle) 9. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Even in the churches, to our mortifying and embarrassing shame, there is very little emphasis on knowledge. Instead, the enthusiasm that is endorsed and promoted is for an experience and/or entertainment. True CHRIST-following faith is not a feeling, it is a committed desire to be of one mind and purpose with GOD SUPREME. To have an intellectual understanding of the PERSON and work of the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, the BREAD OF DELIVERANCE, one must first have a reverential fear of the LORD, that is the beginning of knowledge. [Proverbs/Mishle 1. 7] HE taught imperatively — "unless you repent you will all likewise perish." [Luke 13. 5]

To believe right, one must first think right, and this requires finding GODly knowledge, discretion and discernment. "All who separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to follow the Law of GOD, everyone who had knowledge to understand, joined with their noble brothers, and took an oath with sanctions to follow GOD'S Law, given through Moses the servant of GOD, and to observe carefully all the commandments of the LORD our LORD, HIS rules (ordinances) and laws (statutes)." [Nehemiah (Nechemah) 10. 28 - 29 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"Hear the WORD OF THE LORD, O people of Israel ! For the LORD has a case against the inhabitants of this land, because there is no truth or mercy, no knowledge or obedience to GOD in the land." [Hosea (Hoshea) 4. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "They sow wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." [Hosea (Hoshea) 8. 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The people and the land are bewildered, entirely consumed; like an unwanted vessel in which there is no pleasure.

"You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; but grow in the grace and knowledge of our LORD and SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST. To HIM be the glory both now and forever, Amen" [2 Peter 3. 17 - 18] All who know HIM will serve and obey the MASTER — they are truly rich for the ALL-KNOWING ONE lives within; how very blessed they are.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Renew my strength and draw me nearer to YOU, GLORIOUS GOD OF TRUTH — allow me to serve YOU and be YOUR friend, be my GOD and I will not be afraid; I will sing with a contented heart and be joyously blessed with salvation.
We remember and celebrate the HOLY ONE WHO is the GREATEST GIFT to the world, the TRUE LIGHT that was given to all who will receive HIM. Such a great blessing the day MESSIAH YESHUA came into this dark world, though the world did not understand; those who do, rejoice in HIS PRESENCE still.

Post  Admin Sun 27 Dec 2015, 7:21 pm

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
To avoid criticism — Do nothing! Say nothing! Be nothing! But even then. . . you will be criticized.

RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT
"It is HE WHO judges the world with righteousness, WHO rules the people in uprightness and with equity." [Psalms (Tehillym) 9. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

"It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." [Hebrews 9. 27] Judgment is coming for every person whether you believe it or not; likewise, if you care or not it will happen!!! It is destined that we will all meet our MAKER, the MIGHTY CREATOR GOD, someday.

"HE shall judge the world in righteousness" — for HE is altogether pure "WHOSE eyes are too pure to look upon evil, and cannot countenance (tolerate) wrongdoing. Why do YOU countenance treachery, and stand by idle while the one in the wrong devours the one in the right?" [Habakkuk 1. 13 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "For HE is coming — HE is coming to rule the earth; HE will rule the world justly and HIS people with faithfulness and truth." [Psalms (Tehillym) 96. 13 Tanakh, Kethuvim; 96. 10; 98. 9]

If HOLY GOD does judge righteously, however, all are lost; for "there is none righteous; no, not one" and "cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the BOOK OF THE LAW, to do them." [Romans 3. 10; Psalms/Tehillym 14. 3 & Galatians 3. 10]

But, "GOD was in MESSIAH YESHUA, reconciling the world to HIMSELF...and has made HIM WHO knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of GOD in HIM." [2 Corinthians 5. 19, 21] YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, the ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF ALMIGHTY GOD, our CREATOR-REDEEMER, has taken our judgment on HIMSELF and "there is therefore now no condemnation (judgment) to those who are in CHRIST JESUS." [Romans 8. 1]

"The FATHER judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the SON." [John 5. 22] The OMNIPOTENT HOLY ONE is able to both "judge righteously" and yet "graciously save" all who receive MESSIAH YESHUA by faith: "Because HE has appointed a Day in which HE will judge the world in righteousness by that MAN whom HE has ordained. HE has given assurance of this to all men by raising HIM from the dead." [Acts 17. 31] Yeshua ha'Mashiach, the LORD OF GLORY, is not only our CREATOR and RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, HE is also our REDEEMER, MEDIATOR, ADVOCATE, SAVIOR and SOON-COMING VICTORIOUS KING!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We bid farewell to Shabbat with the Havdallah (difference) Service, using all of our senses: we taste the wine, smell the spices, see the shadows of candles, hear prayers & songs, and touch family and friends as we wish them a Tov Shavua — Good Week!
Blessed are YOU, O GOD, our salvation and our help. Everything that lives shall give thanks to YOU forever and shall praise YOUR NAME in truth. YOUR NAME is RIGHTEOUS, and unto WHOM it is becoming to give thanks.

Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. - Page 16 Empty Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Time will, ever so slowly, reveal on the outside what GOD has been working on, on the inside.

BEHOLD, I COME!
"Then I said, "Behold, I come! In the MEGILLAH CEPHER (SCROLL OF THE BOOK) it is written of ME. I delight and desire to do YOUR will, O MY GOD; YOUR Law is within MY heart." [Psalms (Tehillym) 40. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Torah]

David wrote these words by DIVINE inspiration foretelling the coming of MESSIAH. This was written and recorded hundreds of years before the event of HIS coming into the world as the LIVING WORD. Later this message was quoted by the writer of Hebrews, "Therefore, when HE came into the world, HE said — Sacrifice and offering YOU did not desire, but a body YOU have prepared for ME. In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin YOU had no pleasure. Then I said — Behold, I have come, in the volume of THE BOOK it is written of ME, to do YOUR will O GOD." [Hebrews 10. 5 - 7]

This was the main purpose that INFINITE GOD became a MAN, to fully and completely do the will of the TRIUNE GOD which was planned before the foundation of the world. "You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. HE indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through HIM believe in GOD, WHO raised HIM from the dead and gave HIM glory, so that your faith and hope are in GOD." [1 Peter 1. 18 - 21]

The LORD JESUS told us the reasons for HIS coming — "The SON OF MAN has come to seek and to save that which was lost." [Luke 19. 10]
All mankind are sinners deserving GOD'S wrath and punishment, but MESSIAH also came to save us from our sins and iniquities. HIS salvation includes everything we desperately need for forgiveness of sin . . . then HE freely gives us the wondrous gift of eternal life. "I am the LIVING BREAD which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this BREAD, he will live forever; and the BREAD that I shall give is MY flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world." [John 6. 51]

This free gift of everlasting life begins the moment we partake of that LIFE-GIVING BREAD by faith believing in HIS NAME and receiving HIS GIFT. This transaction results in a changed life, our life now lived for HIS service in full obedience. YESHUA declared, "I am come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." [John 10. 10] "For GOD did not send HIS SON into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through HIM might be saved." [John 3. 17] The wonders YOU, O LORD my GOD have done...YOUR desires for us are more then we can comprehend...none can equal YOU!

O saints of the MOST HIGH GOD, aren't you ecstatically thankful that YESHUA, the PRINCE OF PEACE, came!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Walk boldly in the light and warmth of GOD'S compelling love. And, may the HOLY ONE fill you with HIS perfect peace, wonderful joy and indescribable happiness. By HIS great mercy, GOD has given us a new birth into a LIVING HOPE through MESSIAH YESHUA!
Have a blessed and joyous CHRIST-filled CHRISTmas Season. . . may your home be filled with the joy and peace that only the BLESSED LORD can bring daily. Merry CHRISTmas!
Our love & prayers, Rabbi Del & Rifkah

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
If you have waited in darkness, you can appreciate the miracle of a sunrise.

A DAUGHTER'S INHERITANCE
"Speak to the Israelite people as follows — If a man dies without leaving a son, you shall transfer his inheritance to pass to his daughter. Now Zelophehad, son of Hepher had no sons, only daughters; and the names of Zelophehad's daughters were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah and Tirzah." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 27. 8; 26. 33 Tanakh, Torah]

These daughters of Zelophehad set a precedence for the right of inheritance in HOLY SCRipture that daughters counted as heir as well as sons. This provision took effect "if there were no sons, and if she married within her tribe." "This is what the LORD has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad — They may marry anyone they wish, providing they marry into a clan of their father's tribe." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 36. 6 Tanakh, Torah] In such cases, the son-in-law was adopted by the father of the bride. [Numbers/B'Midvar 32. 41; 1 Chronicles/Dibre Hayamin Alef 2. 21 - 23; 34-35; Ezra 2. 61; Nehemiah/Nechemah 7. 63; Luke 3. 23]

The reason an inheritance through a daughter was permitted was so the name of their father would not be removed from among the families in the tribes of Israel . [Numbers/B'Midvar 27. 4] This is a statute of judgment, just as the LORD GOD commanded Moses.

Precedence was established in the incidence with Zelophehad's daughters long before THE CHILD was born of the virgin. This is of prominent importance in reference for MESSIAH YESHUA, the SON OF MAN showing HIS family ancestry (being of the house and lineage of David) through both HIS mother, Miryam (Mary) and through Joseph, JESUS' step-father.

The MESSIAH must be from the tribe of Judah [Genesis/Bereshith 49. 10], from the line of David. [Ruth/Roos 4. 22; 2 Samuel/Shemuel Bet 7. 11-16] The heritage from Miryam's lineage is most important because hers excludes the "blood curse" on the royal line through Jeconiah (also called Coniah). "Thus says the LORD: Record this man (Coniah/Jeconiah) as without succession, one who shall never be found acceptable; for no man of his offspring shall be accepted to sit on the throne of David and to rule again in Judah ." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 22. 30 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

For this reason, Luke's record of the LORD JESUS' genealogy is from Abraham through David — tracing MESSIAH'S family line through David’s son, Nathan carried down through Heli, the father of Miryam, the mother of JESUS. Through Miryam, there is no inherited blood curse. Joseph, Miryam's husband, was the legal father of YESHUA, has his genealogy in the book of Matthew, and it records the "royal line" of the LION of the Tribe of Judah. And, Joseph was in the family line through David’s son, Solomon (which includes Coniah/Jeconiah the one under the curse) to Jacob the father of Joseph, husband of Mary (Miryam).

Every detail in GOD'S HOLY WORD is pertinent and is intentionally and historically written that we may continue to believe in the NAME of the SON OF GOD. Without a doubt, the LORD YESHUA, the TRUE VINE is exclusively the SUPREME FOCAL POINT of all SCRIPTURE.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcoming Shabbat! Sabbath — the rest of love freely given — a rest of truth and sincerity — a rest in peace and tranquility, in quiet and safety — a perfect rest in which you find favor. We bow the head and bend the knee and magnify the KING of kings, the HOLY ONE, praised be HE. Amen!
Have a peaceful, enriching Shabbat with the deliberate intention of blessing someone else.
Oh LORD GOD, YOU are the MIGHTY ONE OF JACOB, the ETERNALLY EXCELLENT ONE, the JOY of the whole earth. Thank you for loving us so unconditionally. "The LORD is good to those who trust in HIM and wait for HIM; to the one who seeks HIM." [Lamentations/Ekhah 3.25 Tanakh, Kethuvim]
May yours be a joyous Yom She’kulo Shabbat — a day which is all-Sabbath!
CHRIST is ever the center of our lives and always in our hearts, even when CHRISmas is over! We trust your coming days are filled with blessings and rich memories.
JESUS, is always the reason, for every seaSON.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
O come let us adore HIM, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, CHRIST THE LORD.

THE MESSAGE
CHRISTMAS time is meant to remind us of one of the most profound mysteries of GOD...how the PRINCE OF PEACE came to earth and lived in the flesh, without sin, and finally took our sins upon HIMSELF that we might be healed.

We as believers should remember the GREATEST GIFT of all is ALMIGHTY GOD'S peace and reconciliation through HIS SON, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. However one chooses to remember GOD'S ULTIMATE ACT OF GRACE to us, and on whatever day, we can never hold it too dear. Therefore, the greatest gift that we can give during this holy season is to share the "GIFT, the LIVING HOPE" HE has given us with those around us:

"For a CHILD will be born to us, a SON will be given to us. And authority will rest on HIS shoulders. HE has been named WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, ETERNAL FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE. In token of abundant authority and of peace without limit upon David's throne and kingdom, that it may be firmly established in justice and in equity now and evermore. The zeal of the LORD OF HOSTS shall bring this to pass." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 9. 6 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

To Miryam (Mary) it was imparted: "And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a SON, and you shall call HIS name, Jesus. HE will be great, and will be called the SON OF THE MOST HIGH; and the LORD GOD will give HIM the throne of HIS father David; and HE will reign over the House of Jacob forever; and HIS Kingdom will have no end." [Luke 1. 31 - 33]

Have a warm and blessed CHRISTmas, another day to recognize the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA'S birth and rejoice that He loved us enough to come to earth and give His life that we might be reconciled to HIM for all eternity. May we ever continue to serve, bless and give thanks for the miracle of GOD'S MOST REMARKABLY EXCELLENT GIFT. . . HIS PRECIOUS SON JESUS, our REDEEMER, SAVIOR & SOON-COMING KING!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
It’s the beginning of another wonderful Season — remembering our BLESSED SAVIOR coming into this world to save us…be sure to make it a joyous CHRIST-filled time!
The LORD JESUS came almost 2,000 years ago as a Lamb to die. A CHILD was born – PERFECTLY HUMAN/PERFECT GOD. A SON was given – undiminished deity. YESHUA is coming again as a LION to rule. And when HE does, the government will be upon HIS shoulder. That is, HE will reign in absolute authority. HE has been given names to indicate the character of that future reign:

WONDERFUL, because HE is so magnificent and amazing. Really, there is no coined word that can fully describe HIM. COUNSELOR, because HE will govern with faultless discernment. THE MIGHTY GOD, because HE will rule with absolute authority. EVERLASTING FATHER, because HE will possess endless longevity. PRINCE OF PEACE, because HIS Kingdom will be characterized by enduring tranquility. [In Hebrew, the number 5 represents GRACE (the number of names given to THE CHILD) . . . grace is greater then all our sins, and it is seen in these names – HalleluYAH!]
"HalleluYAH" praises YOU LORD, our KING, our GREAT GOD & GOD of our fathers, may our lives be a continual act of worship to YOU. Teach us to be satisfied with the gifts of YOUR goodness and gratefully rejoice in YOUR many mercies to us. Purify our hearts, make us zealous for YOUR Law that we may serve YOU in truth that brings rest and joy, peace and comfort throughout every generation. Guard our mouth that YOUR NAME be kept holy. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable to YOU, O LORD GOD, my ROCK, my MIGHTY REFUGE and my REDEEMER. Amen!
Because YESHUA came, there is an answer to our questions; a solution to our problems; a hope for our end. . . HE is all these. Therefore, rejoice exceedingly in the eternal message. . . for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
