President Obama has once again gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure not to associate Islam with the deadly attack against the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo despite the Islamic chants and exhortations of the jihadists during the massacre.

This is of course consistent with his sharia-adherent policies. Obama has a long history of whitewashing and scrubbing jihad — from Fort Hood, the Islamic State, the Oklahoma beheading, Benghazi, and on and on. Why? Why did he warn us that “the future does not belong to those who slander the prophet Muhammad.

”Where is his allegiance? Either Obama is not-so-secretly a jihad sympathizer or he’s a believer. It’s one and the same. No one in their right mind can justify the unjustifiable. But Obama does does just that.

In response to the attack on the Paris magazine that published editorial cartoons mocking Islam, President Obama reluctantly classified it as an act of terrorism while refusing to associate it with Islam.

“I strongly condemn the horrific shooting at the offices of Charlie Hebdo magazine in Paris that has reportedly killed 12 people,” Obama said in a carefully worded statement released by the White House press office.“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this terrorist attack and the people of France at this difficult time. France is America’s oldest ally and has stood shoulder to shoulder with the United States in the fight against terrorists who threaten our shared security and the world.”
In an interview with CNN, however,White House press secretary Josh Earnest even avoided calling the attack “terrorism,” the Weekly Standard noted.

The CNN host asked: “Josh, when you talk about countering the message, you keep using the word violence. I mean, this is an act of terrorism, that’s what the president of France called it — an act of terrorism. You’re referring to ISIS and other bad actors, it doesn’t really matter who it is at the end of the day. You know you’re fighting a very large group of people of somewhat similar concern. Washington Post, Fox, CNN, NBC, MSNBC won’t show Charlie Hebdo cartoons
As I said early today when I ran the cartoons, every mainstream media should run them in order to defang the threat and stand up for freedom.
Needless to say, that is not happening. The media continues to self-enforce the sharia. The Washington Post, of all places, criticizes FOX News for not running the cartoons: “to attempt an explanation of what may have prompted these killings without showing what may have prompted these killings.” Wise words, and yet the Washington Post hasn’t run them, and neither has any of the mainstream media outlets.
Cowardly bastards.

The number of suicide bombings around the world surged 94 percent in 2014 amid the rise of the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq and the US withdrawal from Afghanistan, the Tel Aviv-based Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) said, in a report to be published Sunday, daily Haaretz reported.
Some 3,400 people were killed in suicide attacks last year, compared with 2,200 in 2013, a 37.5 percent increase. There were 592 bombings, compared with 305 in 2013, the INSS, a research institute and think tank affiliated with Tel Aviv University, found.
The significant increase in the role played by terrorist organizations identified with al-Qaida and global jihad in the planning and execution of suicide attacks is expected to continue in 2015 as well, the report said.
“Suicide bombings are not just an effective tactic for them in terms of their goal of causing death and destruction and establishing fear, but are also a commercial symbol and proof of the willingness of their activists to sacrifice themselves in the way of God,” the INSS pointed out in the report….

Muslims Torch 940 Cars Across France on New Year’s Eve
The enemedia is applauding this because the number is a few shy of last year’s mass car burnings — as if this were consequential. Wrong. Burning close to 1000 cars is the lede — that’s the story, but media has little to say about that, and even less about the fact that it was Muslims.
Perhaps the number would have been higher if so many French Muslims hadn’t gone to the Middle East to wage jihad alongside the Islamic State.

PARIS (AP) — France’s Interior Ministry says 940 cars were set alight by revelers ringing in the New Year — 12 percent fewer than the 1,067 set aflame last year.
The figures issued on Thursday show that, despite the dip, setting fire to parked cars remains a firmly entrenched way for some French to send out the old and ring in the new.
Ministry spokesman Pierre-Henry Brandet said on BFM-TV that numerous cars were burned around the country, particularly in the east, as well as in suburban Paris, notably the Seine-Saint-Denis region — where fiery [Muslim] riots around France started in 2005.

As I have said every day for the past decade, you can’t defeat an enemy that you refuse to name or speak of (in accordance with Obama’s sharia-compliant restrictions on jihad). Just this morning I said (yet again) that the political, cultural and media elites still fail to grasp the theological issues that drive this savage movement.Now a General is admitting it.

It is good that someone in a position of power and influence finally understands that the rivers of blood will not stop under Obama’s see-no-Islam, hear-no-Islam, speak-no Islam edict. What took so long?

They do not understand the movement because terror groups like CAIR and MAS demanded (and got) the Obama administration to stop true scholars of Islam like Robert Spencer and Ibn Warraq from speaking to and educating the FBI, CIA, et al about the jihadic doctrine.

The NY Times tried to frame it in their “nuanced” way like this:
Trying to decipher this complex enemy — a hybrid terrorist organization and a conventional army — is such a conundrum that General Nagata assembled an unofficial brain trust outside the traditional realms of expertise within the Pentagon, State Department and intelligence agencies, in search of fresh ideas and inspiration. Business professors, for example, are examining the Islamic State’s marketing and branding strategies.

Picture of Western teen jihadi sparks fears of Islamic State propaganda coup
Another young convert “misunderstanding” Islam in exactly the same way as millions of other Muslims and converts. At least that’s what the media and political elites tells us – as if they understand Islam better than the devout.
“Sparks fear of “propaganda coup.” It should spark fear of the Islamic texts and teachings that command holy war.
If the Islamic State is not Islamic, what is it? How did this misunderstanding of Islam become so widespread? Why are so many more Western Muslims and Muslim converts than ever joined al Qaeda joining the Islamic State?
And while Muslims in the West condemn the Islamic State, where are they teaching against the ideology that gave rise to it?
Right now, nothing is being done to stop jihad recruiting in US mosques, even as several hundred young Muslims from the US have gone to wage jihad for the Islamic State.

The appearance of a photograph appearing to show a young white ‘jihadist’ armed with a rifle sitting alongside Islamic State fighters has led to fears of a major propaganda coup by the extremist group.
The picture shows the youth, named in some reports as Jonathan Edwards, sitting in front of a black flag of the type used by IS, also know as Isil, wearing a bullet proof vest.
Next to him sit two beared men, both clutching weapons, wearing similar dress – apparently fighters with the jihadi group which has spread terror across large parts of Syria and Iraq.
But doubts about the authenticity have emerged after a blogger, who calls himself Abu Dawud, claimed on Saturday that he had fabricated the image in order to hoax the British media.
The picture was posted on Twitter by Dawud, an English-speaking blogger who claims to be based in Yemen.

A caption to the photograph – which first emerged on December 3 – claimed that the young man had joined IS after missing the Universities and Colleges Admission Service (Ucas) deadline for applying to university.
It reads: “Meet Jonathan Edwards – applied for UCAS to [sic] late and wasn’t accepted in any university, so he joined the Islamic state.”
With some social media users claiming Edwards is British or Australian, the recruitment of a white man to the terror group would be regarded as a significant propaganda exploit.
However, there had also been also questions over the authenticity of the photograph, with speculation that it may have been deliberately doctored to spread fear and confusion or simply be a sinister hoax.
Experts from the intelligence services were understood to be trying to identify the young man in the picture in order to establish whether it is genuine and, if so, how he came to join the group.
The counter-extremism think tank Quilliam is also trying to determine the photograph’s authenticity and the identity of the man.
Haras Rafiq, of Quilliam, told the Daily Mail: “I have not come across this picture before. It is also strange that one post has called him ‘Jonathan Edwards’, rather than him taking on an Islamic name. But having said that I am not going to discount it.”

Mr Rafiq added that IS had access to sophisticated editing software which could allow it to manipulate such images for its own effect.
Shiraz Maher, of the International Centre for the Study of Radicalisation, at King’s College London, said that while hundreds of western Muslims had travelled to join the terror group, there were no known white converts in Syria and if IS had recruited one the group might have been expected to publicise the matter widely as part of its own propaganda offensive.
Mr Maher said: “I don’t think there’s enough evidence to say it’s a British fighter or that the picture is 100 per cent authentic. There aren’t many white English converts in Syria. If he’s happy to sit there with his face uncovered we’d have seen it in a bigger propaganda hit.”
Most fighters who have travelled to join IS in Syria and Iraq are of Asian or African background, with around 60 Australians and around 500 Britons among them, although Khalid Mahmood, Labour MP for Birmingham Perry Barr, has suggested the true figure for British recruits could be as high as 2,000.
Scotland Yard said nobody with the name Jonathan Edwards has been reported missing. The Home Office refused to comment on individual cases.
Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe, the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, said in October that up to five Britons were joining armed groups in Syria every week.
A British-born man using the name Abu Abdel Malik al-Britani was reported by IS sources to have been killed on Tuesday in Syria, along with two Canadian fighters.
He was pictured outside a sports shop holding a US-manufactured M16 assault rifle.

Head of Syrian army after alleged airstrikes: Israel working with ISIS and al-Qaida
When I posted at Atlas about these apparent Israeli airstrikes in Syria earlier today, I said that they were most likely intended to stop weapons shipments to Hizballah. This report confirms that: “According to foreign reports the attack targeted a warehouse of advanced S-300 missiles, which were en route from Syria to Hezbollah in Lebanon.” But the pro-Hizballah Assad regime is — not surprisingly — claiming that Israel is in league with the Islamic State and al-Qaeda.
With all this hostile rhetoric against Israel coming from Damascus, will Obama invite Assad to the White House soon?

Syrian state television said on Sunday that Israeli jets had bombed areas near Damascus international airport and in the town of Dimas, near the border with Lebanon.
The commander of the Syrian Armed forces Lt. General Ali Abdulla Ayoub claimed Israel was working with ISIS and al-Qaida to attack Syria, in the wake of Syrian government claims that Israeli planes attacked military sites near Damascus on Sunday night.
“This aggression confirms Israel directly supports terrorism in Syria, in addition to the known Western and regional countries, raising the morale of terrorist organizations, led by Jabhat al-Nusra, an arm of al-Qaida in the Levant, and ISIS,” the head of the Syrian military said.
“The Israeli enemy committed aggression against Syria by targeting two safe areas in Damascus province, in all of Dimas and near the Damascus International Airport,” state television said, adding that there were no casualties.
Residents in Damascus said they heard loud explosions.The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, which tracks the conflict, said that 10 explosions were heard near Dimas.

Earlier this week I reported here on the thousands of British Muslims waging jihad for the Islamic State. How did this misunderstanding of Islam become so widespread? Why are so many more US and UK Muslims than ever joined al Qaeda joining the Islamic State?
Nothing is being done to stop jihad recruiting in US and European mosques, even as thousands of Muslims from the US and Europe have gone to wage jihad for the Islamic State.

A wanted terror suspect from London who claims not to love his own mother because she is not a Muslim has posted a photo of himself in Syria – posing with an AK47 gun and his newborn baby.
Siddhartha Dhar, 31, was one of nine men who were held under suspicion due to their alleged links with the radical hate preacher Anjem Choudary and the banned radical group, al-Muhajiroun in September.
Known by the nom de guerre, Abu Rumaysah, Dhar had been made to hand over his travel documents to police, in an attempt to prevent him leaving Britain.
Less than 24 hours after he was released on bail, Dhar took a bus to Paris with his pregnant wife and four young children. The family then travelled on to Syria, where they joined the Islamic State.
Dhar was interviewed by CBS News’ 60 Minutes programme earlier this month, telling presenter Clarissa Wards that he was unable to love his mother because she was not a Muslim.
It is understood that Dhar is of Indian origin and was raised a Hindu before converting to Islam.

Just hours after publicly declaring he had arrived in Syria, the wanted terror suspect made another surprising announcement on Twitter. He revealed that he had become a father to a baby boy.
‘Alhamdulillah (all praise be to Allah), Allah (God) blessed me with a healthy baby boy in the Islamic State. Need to sort out aqeeqah.’
‘He is another great addition to the Islamic State. And he definitely is not British. Will try to post a pic of him soon. Please make dua.’
A photo was subsequently posted this morning, showing Dhar proudly standing beside a mustard coloured pickup truck, wearing a thick military style coat and boots.
Held against his chest with his left arm is believed to be Dhar’s newborn baby. The baby’s face can be seen peaking out of its tightly knitted baby grow.
In the same photo, Dhar is also shown holding a machine gun in his other hand. The gun is supported on his right shoulder, with the barrel pointing up towards the sky and away from his baby.
Taunt: Dhar – who goes by the name of Abu Rumaysah – apparently tweeted these messages on MondayThis afternoon a woman in her twenties who is believed to be Dhar’s sister spoke of how her family had been trying unsuccessfully to contact him since he left the country.
Speaking on the doorstep of their terraced home on the busy North Circular road of Edmonton, north London, she said: ‘We ourselves are trying to reach out to him and haven’t found a route.’
‘We don’t wish to speak to any media… I’m not going to tell you my name sorry.’ As she spoke a second woman, thought to be Dhar’s mother, appeared cradling a baby.
In an interview with Channel 4 News just weeks before his escape to Syria, Dhar publicly stated how he was desperate to live under Islamic State and wanted to denounce his British citizenship.
It appears Dhar was eager that his new son be born in the Islamic State rather than the UK.
The episode of CBS’ 60 Minutes programme in which Dhar featured was titled ‘Campaigning for ISIS in the West’ and focused on Choudary’s band of London-based radicals.
It featured interviews with a number of the group, with Dhar telling presenter Clarissa Wards that he is not able to love his own mother because she has not embraced Islam.
Prior to posting the photo of his newborn son, Dhar posted several tweets, proclaiming his love for Islamic State and the importance of the fight against the West.
Dhar wrote: ‘The Islamic State will punish the tyrants in the West. The army of Caliph Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (ha) is coming. Rejoice O Muslims.’

Iran’s foreign minister and lead negotiator in nuclear talks said this week that the United States must bow to Iran’s “inalienable nuclear rights” and hinted that Western countries are being fooled about the extent of concessions being made by Tehran in talks, according to regional media reports.

Despite Western media reports and indications from the Obama administration that Iran may be moderating its hardline position, there has been “no change in Iran’s rigid stance on its inalienable nuclear rights,” according to comments made Tuesday by Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and reported in Iran’s state-controlled-media.

“Some [western] countries have fallen prey to miscalculations [about Iran’s position] due to wrong analyses,” Zarif was quoted as saying on the heels of another round of talks with the United States and other Western countries ahead of the Nov. 24 deadline.

U.S. sanctions against Iran “have left no impact” on Iran’s desire to “possess the civilian nuclear technology,” Iran’s Fars News Agency reported Zarif as saying. The foreign minister also framed the controversy over Iran’s nuclear weapons program as a “manufactured crisis.”

Zarif’s comments highlight the gaps that remain between Tehran and the West as negotiations approach their deadline. As Iran digs in over the right to enrich uranium, the key fuel in a nuclear bomb, the Obama administration has indicated that it may be willing to accede to this demand.

Leading congressional opponents of a deal that permits Iran to continue enriching uranium said on Wednesday that Congress will pass new sanctions if the Obama administration concedes to this demand from Tehran.

“As co-authors of bipartisan sanctions laws that compelled Iran to the negotiating table, we believe that a good deal will dismantle, not just stall, Iran’s illicit nuclear program and prevent Iran from ever becoming a threshold nuclear weapons state,” Sens. Mark Kirk (R., Ill.) and Robert Menendez (D., N.J.) said in a joint statement.

“If a potential deal does not achieve these goals, we will work with our colleagues in Congress to act decisively, as we have in the past,” the two senators said.

Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R., Fla.) also warned on Wednesday that the Obama administration is on the cusp of permitting Iran to continue its most controversial nuclear work.

“A deal that allows Iran to enrich any uranium and to keep in place a nuclear infrastructure is a bad deal,” Ros-Lehtinen said on the House floor. “As long as Iran maintains the capability to enrich uranium, it can create a nuclear weapon.”

“As the deadline looms, and as Republicans are set to control Congress, I urge my colleagues to not allow President Obama to trade away the only leverage we have over the mullahs in Tehran in exchange for minor and easily reversible modifications by Iran on its nuclear weapons program,”

Ros-Lehtinen said.
With less than two weeks before talks are scheduled to end, new evidence indicates that Iran’s nuclear program is more advanced than previously known—and that Tehran is making a concerted effort to keep this fact a secret.

“We don’t know where they [Iran] are today, and that’s why it’s important the [International Atomic Energy Agency] verifies from the very beginning the actual inventory of the centrifuges and the consumption of the material,” Olli Heinonen, a former deputy director general of the IAEA, said in a recent conference call with reporters.

Iran, Heinonen revealed, has in its possession at least 4,000 advanced nuclear centrifuges that it has been hiding from the West.
This technology allows Iran to enrich uranium about five times faster than older model centrifuges and potentially means that Tehran’s program is vastly more advanced than Western officials thought.

“These centrifuges are five times more powerful than the current IR-1 [centrifugues],” Heinonen said on a conference call organized by the Israel Project (TIP). “So these 4,000 centrifuges actually are altogether like the enrichment power now in Natanz [nuclear site] with the IR-1s.”

The existence of these advanced centrifuges could significantly speed up the time it will take Iran to reach the nuclear tipping point.

“If you take, you know, 1,000 of these centrifuges and just as a kind of thumb rule, if you have 1,000 of these centrifuges and you start with natural uranium, at the end of that one year you have enough material for one nuclear device at least,” Heinonen explained. “If you take 2,000 of those centrifuges and natural uranium, it will be half a year. If you take 4,000 of them, it will be three months if you start from natural uranium.”

However, since Iran already has significant stockpiles of low-enriched uranium, it can reach the nuclear breakout point even quicker. With about 4,000 of these advanced centrifuges in operation, it would take Iran just one month to produce a nuclear device using low-enriched uranium, Heinonen said.

One senior GOP aide working on the Iran portfolio called Heinonen’s revelations “blockbusters.”
Because of their size and power, these advanced centrifuges have a “smaller footprint and make a clandestine facility much easier to build,” the source warned.
Heinonen also accused the Obama administration of setting “a very bad precedent” by allowing Iran to break the rules and still potentially be rewarded with a sweetheart deal.

“The bad thing is that there is a country which is in non-compliance [with established regulations] with its safeguards undertaking and it is allowed to continue uranium enrichment before it has really proved that it has adhered to the agreements,” he said. “So this is a very bad precedent and undermines I think the authority of the non-proliferation regime and the authority of the United Nations Security Council.”…

Vandals, Anti-Israel Protesters Assail Istanbul’s Largest Synagogue
Turkish President Erdogan has turned Turkey from a secular state that was friendly to Israel into a re-Islamizing Jew-hating entity that repeatedly scapegoats the Jews. Erdogan has crushed the freedom movement in Turkey, as Prime Minister was exposed in an elaborate corruption scandal (yet still became President), and has legitimized and mainstreamed this Jew-hatred.

Unknown vandals posted a note reading “To be Demolished” on the doors of Istanbul’s main Neve Shalom Synagogue on Friday, according to a local newspaper.
A young male in his teens, wearing a Turkish flag on his back, posted the note, a local source, who requested anonymity due to the unsafe atmosphere, told The Algemeiner on Monday.
Neve Shalom, Istanbul’s largest synagogue, was empty and closed at the time of the incident, which apparently took place after Friday evening Sabbath services.
After checking out the vicinity for possible bombs, security guards removed the note.
“Today the Jewish community tweeted a thank-you note to the Turkish police saying: ‘we Turkish Jews who become the target of unacceptable abuse after every incident in the Middle East, we thank our police for its assistance to us and to our synagogues,’” the source said.
Shortly after the incident, Omer Celik, the Minister of Tourism and Culture, tweeted, “Any kind of provocation against our Jewish citizens and synagogues shall not be allowed or tolerated.”
As well, MHP (nationalist party) vice president Tugrul Turkes also tweeted, “we invite our nation to be vigilant against provocation against our Jewish citizens,” the source said.
On Sunday, a local nationalistic youth group, Alperen Ocakları, marched on Neve Shalom to protest recent Israeli police clashes with Arab rioters on Jerusalem’s Temple Mount.
“About 100 members of the group chanted anti-israel slogans and ‘takbir’ (a proclamation of the greatness of God),” according to the source, until police stopped them before they entered the street where the synagogue is located.
Holding banners, the demonstrators declared “Israel you will pay for what you do. Once again we are warning the Zionist and bloodsucker Israel that we, the Alperens, we see all Muslim blood as our own, every soul as our own.
“And we proclaim to the world that we will not permit any fait accompli,” under the mistaken presumption that Israel planned to divide the Al Aqsa mosque into two and permit Jewish worshipers, as well.
“Al Aqsa Mosque must be protected by Turkish soldiers,” the protesters said, reading from a press statement.
The banner in a photo (above) provided to The Algemeiner says “the nonbelievers that surrounded al-Aqsa must know that the grandsons of Sultan Abdulhamit Han are still alive and we can surround all of your temples, suddenly in one night.”
Neve Shalom, built in the 1930′s, has experienced several attacks in recent history.
On November 15, 2003, a car bomb was detonated outside the structure, one of four throughout the city, in an attack “at least coordinated with international terror organizations,” according to Israeli security sources.
On Wednesday, Turkish Jews plan to commemorate the victims of the 2003 attack.
In 1986, 22 worshipers were killed when a Palestinian terrorist affiliated with Abu Nidal opened fire during services.
The latest incident has aroused intense indignation among Turkey’s 20,000 Jews, according to the local Salom Jewish newspaper.
In September, a Turkish pundit writing for Yeni Akit, a major publication aligned with President Erdoğan, called for the country’s Jews to be taxed to pay for reconstructing buildings damaged in Gaza during Israel’s recent Operation Protective Edge.
Faruk Köse said that the “Gaza Fund Contribution Tax” should apply to Turkish Jews as well as foreign Jews doing business in Turkey and any Turkish nationals with commercial ties to the Jewish state.
In July, as IDF forces entered Gaza during Operation Protective Edge, violent riots broke out around Turkey threatening the local Jewish community and Israeli institutions.
Many Israelis, in the past year have been reconsidering plans to visit Turkey – a once-favored destination for tourists – after crude anti Semitic remarks by Turkish Prime Minister Erdoğan, warnings by Turkish Jews to watch their backs, insults during hotel bookings, and harassment by Istanbul airport employees.
“People are not happy but nobody is deciding to make Aliyah,” [emigration to Israel] the source said, when asked what effect the hostility had in the community.
“It is not an easy decision,” the source said. “Don’t forget that there is no physical harm until now and hopefully there will not be. It is true that we think about our future in this country and if we have a future in this country. And this is also true for secular Turks as well.”

The rout of the Democrats in the recent election has clearly taught Barack Obama nothing. The American people unequivocally declared to President Obama that we are on to him. And he shouted back, “Who cares?”
He has always held the American people in contempt, but now it’s official presidential policy. Now he is sending troops back to Iraq. Apparently the decision was made to send these troops back in September, but Obama held off on announcing it until after the election – in a Friday night news dump.
So now we know that for him nothing is sacred, not even human life. Under Obama, war is politics – and if it’s not politically expedient, then victims, nations and freedom be damned.
Meanwhile, Obama is continuing his jihad to close the prison housing jihad terrorists at Guantanamo Bay, despite realities on the ground and the escalating war on the West by devout Muslim armies. He has released deadly jihadists from Gitmo, only to have them rejoin the mujahadeen and wage holy war.
But this latest act of treason takes Obama’s treachery to a whole other level. Obama has brought Irek Hamidullin, a commander in the Taliban, a murderer of American troops, to the United States for a civilian trial. Read that again. Irek Hamidullin is the first military detainee from Afghanistan to be brought to the U.S. for trial. He is given the same civil rights as an American citizen.
What has Irek Hamidullin done to deserve such special treatment? The Associated Press reported that “according to the 19-page indictment, Hamidullin was an officer and tank commander in the Russian military during the 1980s and was trained in the use of such weapons as anti-aircraft machine guns and portable rockets. He became affiliated with the Taliban in 2001.”

After that, Hamidullin waged jihad against the United States: “The indictment says Hamidullin commanded three groups of insurgents that attacked Afghan border police at Camp Leyza, one of six locations the Taliban had identified as possible targets. He directed insurgents armed with anti-aircraft machine guns to fire at U.S. military helicopters responding to the attack, the indictment says, and later used a machine gun to shoot at U.S. troops and Afghan border police assessing damage at the battle site.”
The indictment also says that Hamidullan was in several instances “the main commander” of jihad terror forces that attacked American troops and military bases. He is charged, according to AP, with “providing material support to terrorists, trying to destroy U.S. military aircraft and conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction.”
How many Americans has Irek Hamidullin killed? This man was a commander of forces that fought against U.S. troops. Would Obama have brought German Gen. Erwin Rommel to the U.S. for a civilian trial in the middle of World War II? This is happening now because Obama doesn’t want to admit that the U.S. is at war, or that Islamic jihadists around the world have declared war against us. So he pretends that battle-hardened jihadis like Irek Hamidullin are civilian lawbreakers rather than members of an enemy military force.
AP says that Hamidullin “had been held at the U.S. Parwan detention facility at Bagram airfield.” But “in light of the agreement by the U.S. that it will turn over all prisons in Afghanistan to the Afghan government by 2015,” Hamidullin is now here in the United States. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. (This is no surprise: According to the Shariah, he really isn’t guilty.) Now we must suffer this savage to make a mockery of our legal system.
Irek Hamidullin is not a citizen of the United States, and he should not be tried as if he were one. He should not be allowed to turn his trial into a platform for Islamic proselytizing (dawah) and indictments of the United States. But he probably will, and the enemedia will lap it up and give it lavish coverage.
Just as Hamidullin will make a mockery of our judicial system, Barack Obama does as well, by giving him the gift of this trial in an American court. Hamidullin is an enemy combatant. He should get a military tribunal and then a death sentence.
And then when all is said and done, and he gets sentenced to however many years of prison dawah and halal food, he can further radicalize the Muslim converts in jail. He can even raise an army. The conversion of large numbers of prisoners to Islam and their “radicalization” at the hands of Muslim chaplains with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and other jihadist and supremacist groups is not just a scandal – it’s a time bomb. Irek Hamidullin won’t be the first or the last jihadi to light the fuse.
But the principal arsonist in this case will be Barack Hussein Obama.

The Palestinian government has called on its “fighters” to launch a “day of rage” against Israel on Friday that will include armed attacks in Jerusalem, a move that has sparked fears that widespread riots could wreak havoc on the holy city.
Israeli authorities shut down access to Jerusalem’s Al Aqsa mosque late Wednesday following the shooting of a Jewish citizen by Palestinian terrorists.

Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah organization has declared tomorrow Friday a “day of rage” and called on the Palestinian “fighters” to defend Al-Aqsa. Palestinian rioters and terrorists have been active in recent weeks in the Jerusalem area, killing two, injuring many others, and causing millions of dollars in damage.
The following is the announcement by Fatah that was reported by the official PA news agency:
“Fatah calls to its fighters and to the masses of the Palestinian people to aid the Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem.

‘Ground Zero mosque’ faces eviction from condo board

There is an important lesson to be learned here — and one we would be wise to adopt. They never stop. Mo matter how absolutely they lose, how many setbacks they suffer, they keep on pursuing their supremacist goals.

No one knows exactly what the Ground Zero mosqueteer Sharif El Gamal is up to, or what exactly he will do with his 39-story glass and steel condo tower, because he has been very secretive and covert with these plans. But I would love to know what traitor provided his company Soho Properties with $33 million in financing for the project last month.

A Tribeca condo board threatened to stop “Ground Zero mosque” worshipers from renting space in its tony building, sparking charges of discrimination.
Park51, the organization behind the controversial Islamic prayer space and community center proposed for Park Place, leased the condo’s 49-51 Warren St. storefront in August.
But by Sept. 18, before any prayer services were even conducted there, the condo — where apartments sell for $1 million and up and one features a bowling alley — posted a legal notice telling Park51 to get out by month’s end.
Park51 needs the space because its planned mosque near Ground Zero is under construction.
Christophe Cornaire, the owner of the Warren Street retail space and a former Cantor Fitzgerald managing director, has hired a lawyer to make sure the condo board does not evict the mosque.
“The unit owner is rattling sabers at us,” said Richard Menaker, a lawyer for the condo board. “He’s been accusing the board of misbehaving here . . . [of being] discriminatory.”
Menaker says bigotry has nothing to do with it — that the condo is simply holding Cornaire accountable for failing to fully disclose how the space would be used and how many people would use it.
“The key thing is, they’re talking about using the basement space which is not allowed to be used by people,” Menaker said.
In the past, hundreds of Muslim worshipers crowded a makeshift prayer space on Park Place for Friday services, many spilling over into the basement of the building.
Menaker said the condo withdrew its eviction threat and is waiting to get more information from Cornaire.
Cornaire’s lawyer, Adam Leitman Bailey, refused to comment.
Cornaire, who lives in France, worked for Cantor Fitzgerald from 2000 to 2010. The firm lost 658 employees in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
Bailey represented Sharif El-Gamal, the developer behind the “Ground Zero mosque,” in lawsuits against the controversial project.
El-Gamal sparked a global outcry in 2010 when he unveiled plans for a $100 million community center and mosque close to Ground Zero. Protesters objected to a mosque near the site of the World Trade Center attacks by Islamic extremists.

El-Gamal’s grand plan called for a multistory building with a fitness center, swimming pool, auditorium, a restaurant and prayer space.
But the vision was put on hold for years. El-Gamal announced earlier this year he would scale back the scheme and construct a three-story museum with prayer space designed by noted French architect Jean Nouvel.
Next door to the museum, El-Gamal plans to erect a 39-story glass and steel condo tower. His company Soho Properties received $33 million in financing for the project last month.

Massachusetts Public Schools Teaching the Shahada: ‘There Is No God But Allah’

This is an outrage, but expected and exactly what I warned of in my book, Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance, in the chapter “The Mosqueing of the Public Schools.”
The shahada that the children are forced to recite in Massachusetts public schools is the Muslim profession of faith (“there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah”).

In order to convert to Islam, one says the shahada. Saying the shahada makes you a Muslim.
The shahada is what is on the black flag of jihad.
This is Massachusetts — home of the Boston Marathon jihad bombing.
This parent is hardly the first to protest this egregious submission to the most vicious and brutal ideology on the face of the earth. In Volusia County, Florida, hundreds protested Islamic lessons in their “World History” text, a Common Core-approved high school history textbook.
With an entire chapter dedicated to the virtues of Islam, and not a single chapter for Christianity, the textbook has Floridians in a frenzy. And who is the biggest pusher of Common Cores besides leftist progressives? The Islamic Society of North America, another Muslim Brotherhood front group, along with Hamas-CAIR; and in Florida, Hamas-CAIR is on the offensive. (more here)

Part of the textbook prints the Muslim Call to Prayer, according to Boston NBC affiliate WHDH.
“I bear witness that there is no God but Allah,” it says.
The textbook portion also reverently celebrates Muhammad’s life.
“Muhammad never expected to change world,” the admiring, rah-rah textbook reads.
“Muhammad later tended sheep on the dry hills like many young Arabians,” the text explains. “Later he became a successful merchant and married a wealthy widow. However, he felt as though something was missing in his life, so he went on a retreat.”
The founder of Islam was “upset about the cruelty of his people,” the text also optimistically explains. They “killed baby girls.” They “treated their slaves unkindly.” And “Muhammad had a strong sense of right and wrong.”
One local parent, Anthony Giannino, is upset about the textbook’s treatment of the Muslim religion.
“No religion should be taught in school,” Giannino told WHDH. “It says Allah is their only God. That’s insulting to me as a Christian who believes in just Jesus only.”
“We don’t believe in Allah. I don’t believe in my son learning about this here,” Giannino added. “If my son was from another country and came here, he would have been catered to.”
The mad dad said he pulled his son out of his elementary school when he found out about the textbook’s treatment of Islam.
Other parents say they don’t see what the problem is.
“What is Muslim about? What is Christianity about? That’s what I teach at home,” parent Idalia Garcia told the Fox station. “Everybody should respect everybody else’s religion.”
The school district superintendent has since penned a letter to parents assuring them that the congratulatory statements about Islam are merely part of the district’s history curriculum.

The pattern never changes: in the wake of a jihad terror attack or plot, Muslims in the West do not do what they should do: redouble their efforts against jihadis in their own communities, and their cooperation with law enforcement officials. Instead, they claim that they are already cooperating, despite all the evidence to the contrary, and complain that they are being victimized by a “backlash” and try to seize the spotlight as victims. The mainstream media, of course, is all too willing to oblige. Four separate studies since 1998 have shown that 80% of the mosques in the U.S. teach hatred of Jews and Christians and the superiority of Sharia over Constitutional law, and the percentage is likely to be similar in Canada, but no one seems concerned. To be concerned would be “Islamophobic.” Meanwhile, this claim of victimhood is designed to deflect attention away from the jihad murders themselves, and intimidate people into thinking that it would be wrong to pile on to these poor victimized people and demand that they do more to stop the preaching of the Islamic doctrines that incite people to acts of hatred and violence.

CAIRO – The killing of a solider [sic] near Montreal has left Canada Muslims terrified of an expected backlash against the religious community, calling on Canadians to join hands against extremism, instead of blaming Muslims for terror acts committed in their name.
“We must be very careful not to point the finger at mosques and instead see them as allies against this kind of phenomenon, because it is they who can alert police,” Haroun Bouazzi, a spokesperson for Association des Musulmans et Arabes pour la Laïcité du Québec (AMAL-Québec), told Montreal Gazette.
“The main victims, other than the people who died yesterday, are Muslims themselves because more and more, they are seen as an enemy from inside,” Bouazzi added.
Bouazzi was voicing concerns of Canadian Muslims after this week’s incident in which Martin Couture-Rouleau, who had reverted to Islam last year and took the name Ahmad Rouleau, rammed his car into two Canadian Forces members.
The 25-year-old Couture-Rouleau, a resident of the town of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, near Montreal, was shot and killed after a car chase by Quebec police.
The chase ended when the driver lost control of his car, flipping it into a ditch. Officers shot him dead in a confrontation after he wielded a knife, according to police.
The incident took place in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, around 40 km (25 miles) southeast of Montreal.
Rouleau was on an RCMP watch list and may have been motivated by a violent extremist ideology.
Condemning this week’s incident, Bouazzi raised fears that Muslims are being “scapegoats” because of the negative media coverage of several events.
He also stressed that radicalized Canadian youth are victims of deceptive foreign websites that deviate them form [sic] the moderate teaching of the local mosques and Islamic organizations.
“I think it’s important to point out that people who are radicalized are not being radicalized in Muslim institutions like associations and mosques. They are really being radicalized through international networks, mainly on social media,” Bouazzi said.
Proactive community
According to Canadian Muslims, their community has been “proactive” in fighting terrorism in Canada since 9/11 attacks in the US.
“I think the Muslim community has been working consistently since 2001 on this issue, the issue of radicalization, the issue of drawing clear red lines of what is acceptable and what is not,” Sameer Zuberi, a law student at the Université du Québec à Montréal and board member of the Canadian Muslim Forum, said.
A new project named “Communitas” has been recently launched by the Canadian Council of Muslim Women in a bid to promote social interdependence, active citizenship, dialogue and youth leadership through its various activities.
Muslims make up nearly two percent of Canada’s some 32.8 million people and Islam has become the number one non-Christian faith in the country.
A poll has showed that the overwhelming majority of Muslims are proud to be Canadian and are more integrated and better educated than the general population.
For several Muslim youth like Zuberi, extremism is not about religion, instead it is highly related to “social deviance”.
“I think at the core of it it’s a psychological problem, it’s a social deviancy issue and it should be looked at through that lens,” Zuberi stated.
“I think that we’re not ever going to get to the root of the issue unless we actually look at it from that perspective.”…

A bold yet ultimately unsuccessful kidnapping plot orchestrated by the Islamic State in Turkey raises new questions about the safety of U.S. troops and other American personnel stationed throughout the country.
The attempted abduction, reportedly carried out by Turkish gang members whom the Islamic State enticed with a promise of $500,000, targeted a popular Syrian rebel commander who had crossed into Turkey seeking refuge from ongoing violence across the border, according to a report by the Washington Post. It was a close call for the commander, who was shot in the stomach before managing to escape — and the clearest indication yet that the Islamic State has established a potent network inside Turkey, the Post reported.
The incident occurred in Sanliurfa about 220 miles east of Incirlik Air Base, which is home to thousands of U.S. airmen and their families. Air Force personnel also are stationed in Ankara and Izmir, and the Army maintains two Patriot missile batteries — a rotational force of about 250 soldiers — in Gaziantep, about 150 miles west of Sanliurfa.
An Air Force spokesman declined to say whether airmen in Turkey are taking extra security precautions in light of the kidnapping attempt.
“In regards to increased security measures, we do not comment due to operational security concerns. However, the safety of our airmen and their families remains one of our top priorities,” Capt. William-Joseph J. Mojica told Military Times on Wednesday. “Additionally our airmen are trained to remain vigilant at all times, and we have programs in place for them to report suspicious activities.”
No one is taking the threat lightly, though. Earlier this month, U.S. military officials in Europe told local-level commanders they should consider instructing U.S. troops not to wear their uniforms off base. Similarly, when the U.S. began airstrikes against the Islamic State in September, the U.S. embassy in Ankara issued a message telling Americans throughout Turkey to be cautious and monitor local news.
Asked Wednesday if U.S. troops in Turkey face any travel restrictions, Navy Capt. Greg Hicks, a spokesman for U.S. European Command, deferred comment to officials at the embassy in Ankara.
“We have allowed commanders leeway to adjust force protection measures depending on local conditions,” Hicks said.
U.S. troops in Turkey should not wear their uniforms while off base and take other precautions so that they don’t become an “easy target,” said Daveed Gartenstein-Ross of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, a conservative think tank based in Washington.
“In Turkey, you have this significant presence in the south of (Islamic State), of al-Qaeda — and they’re active in other parts of the country as well,” he said. “I would definitely say that it is something that should be a concern, something that is on the radar of soldiers because they could, perhaps, be targeted.”
But Andrew Liepman, a senior policy analyst at the RAND Corp., believes that homegrown radicals in Turkey pose more of a threat to U.S. service members than the Islamic State does. Liepman points to an incident Monday in Canada, in which a Muslim convert who sympathized with the Islamic State used his car to run over two Canadian soldiers, killing one.
Another Canadian soldier was killed during a shooting rampage Wednesday in Ottawa, the capital, though it’s not immediately clear whether that incident was terrorism-related.
“My general sense is the guys who are fighting for ISIS right now are so busy on all of the various fronts that they’ve opened up against the Syrian Kurds and the Iraqi Kurds and the Syrian army and the other Syrian opposition members and the Iraqi army that they are pretty busy — they are fully engaged on multiple fronts,” Liepman said. “So the likelihood that they are going to plot an attack American soldiers in Turkey or elsewhere seems to me less likely than what we’re seeing in Canada.”

According to a new study, wealthy, better educated Muslims are more likely to wage jihad.
It has been shown time and time again — whether it was the Muslim doctors who tried to blow up the Glasgow airport; or the wealthy, educated diplomat’s son who attempted to bomb a plane right out of the sky over Detroit on Christmas day; or the group of 45 Muslim doctors who plotted Islamic terror raids in the US; or the rich, well-educated Osama bin Laden; or the 19 9/11 hijackers. Jihad has nothing to do with wealth or education. It is a religion, a totalitarian and supremacist belief system.
Obama’s clowns (Kerry) and goons (Brennan) make laughingstocks of themselves (and by proxy, the American people) when, for example, they say that “jihad a product of injustices, economics, and ignorance.”
The refusal to recognize reality will not spare us. Quite the opposite, I assure you: such irrational denial will continue to exact an unfathomable human toll.
Every article covering Muslims flocking to the Middle East to wage jihad avoids the story, and instead waxes poetic about how peaceful Muslims are and how Muslim leaders condemn “the actions of ISIS.” But they never ask these Muslim leaders what they are doing to reform Islam and expunge the Quran of its violent teachings. Their disingenuous condemnations are of a particular savage action (i.e., a beheading) but never the motive behind it.
The mainstream media are still much more concerned with “Islamophobia” than with jihad savagery. But in reality, the only people spreading Islamophobia are the Muslims who are slaughtering, beheading and violently converting non-Muslims in the cause of Islam.

Americans who have been paying attention are well aware of the Islamic burial ritual. Obama made sure our troops gave Osama bin Laden the Islamic ritual burial — our soldiers had to wash and prepare OBL’s body in just this fashion.
This story is disturbing enough on its face, but the silence by the enemedia in reporting this story speaks to the ungodly lengths to protect and defend this brutal and extreme ideology.

Islam isn’t just at the heart of the terror threat posed by the Islamic State. The religion is also contributing to the other major crisis plaguing the globe: the spread of Ebola.
Washington and its media stenographers won’t tell you this, lest they look intolerant, but Islamic burial rituals are a key reason why health officials can’t contain the spread of the deadly disease in West Africa.
Many of the victims of Ebola in the three hot-spot nations there — Sierra Leone and Guinea, as well as neighboring Liberia — are Muslim. Roughly 73% of Sierra Leone’s and about 85% of Guinea’s people are Muslim. Islam, moreover, is practiced by more than 13% of Liberians.
When Muslims die, family members don’t turn to a funeral home or crematorium to take care of the body. In Islam, death is handled much differently.
Relatives personally wash the corpses of loved ones from head to toe. Often, several family members participate in this posthumous bathing ritual, known as Ghusl.
Before scrubbing the skin with soap and water, family members press down on the abdomen to excrete fluids still in the body. A mixture of camphor and water is used for a final washing. Then, family members dry off the body and shroud it in white linens.
Again, washing the bodies of the dead in this way is considered a collective duty for Muslims, especially in Muslim nations. Failure to do so is believed to leave the deceased “impure” and jeopardizes the faithful’s ascension into Paradise (unless he died in jihad; then no Ghusl is required).
Before the body is buried, Muslims attending the funeral typically pass a common bowl for use in ablution or washing of the face, feet and hands, compounding the risk of infection.
Though these customs are prescribed by Shariah law, they’re extremely dangerous and should be suspended. Mosque leaders must step in to educate village Muslims about the dangers of interacting with corpses.

Ebola victims can be more contagious dead than alive. Their bodies are covered in rashes, blood and other fluids containing the virus.
“Funerals and washing dead bodies in West African countries have led, to a great extent, to spread the disease,” a World Health Organization spokeswoman recently warned.
WHO has issued an advisory to Red Cross and other relief workers in African Muslim nations to “be aware of the family’s cultural practices and religious beliefs. Help the family understand why some practices cannot be done because they place the family or others at risk for exposure.”

Egypt: Another Christian Girl Kidnapped; Indifferent Police Complain about Muslims Dying in Syria

What does the war in Syria or the Islamic war on Israel have to do with a Christian girl in Upper Egypt being kidnapped while going to church? And aren’t police officers (in any country) supposed to protect the rights and the safety of all citizens regardless of religion?
Unless, of course, they don’t actually view Christians as “real” citizens of Egypt, and look at their state as an Islamic state, under which Christians and religious minorities are deprived of their human (let alone civil) rights. (thanks to Filip)

Another Coptic Christian female was kidnapped by Muslims in Egypt earlier this week.
A 20 year old Christian was on her way to St George Church in Sohag governate in the early morning, but never returned, according to her brother during a video interview.

The family later received a phone call from a certain “Muhammad” who said that if they wanted to see the girl again they’d have to ransom her for 250,000 Egyptian pounds.

When her brother went to the authorities, the head captain told him, “So what, one Coptic girl missing? Look at how many millions of Muslims are dying in Palestine. Who would’ve thought so many millions of Muslims in Syria would die. And you’re bothering us about one girl?”

When her brother said “That’s not our issue, these are different countries, we are here to find our missing sister,” the captain, somewhat sarcastically responded, “Sure, go right ahead, look on.”
The family went to another police department but they responded in the same way—again mentioning how Muslims are dying, so how can they worry about one missing Christian girl?
According to her brother, not one person in authority did a single thing; nor did they even pretend that they would.
He concluded saying that, word among people in the street is that there is a certain sheikh, living in a certain street, who has many kidnapped girls. The police know exactly about him, and yet no one is doing anything about it.

Ali Sina: Wealthier Muslims are more vulnerable to radicalization

The Left’s mantra is that socioeconomic conditions determine cultural, political and even intellectual conditions of a society. This dogma is based on Karl Marx’s materialistic interpretation of history, who in his Contribution to the Critique of Political Economy, wrote, “It is not the consciousness of men that determines their existence, but their social existence that determines their consciousness.”
This is the dogma of all strands of Leftists from hardcore communists to lukewarm socialists. It is however patently wrong. Take the example of Saudi Arabia and Qatar were money literally flows from the ground, and compare them to Somalia, Bangladesh and Pakistan were most people survive on a budget of one dollar per day. Despite the vast differences in their socio-economic conditions, the majority of the people in these countries support honor killing, deny equal rights to women, violate the innocence of their children, kill gays and apostates and hate the Jews. All these countries are dictatorial and corrupt and even when they pretend to elect their governments, the elections are sham and their democracies are theocracy.
Unless you are a Leftist, is should be obvious that the common denominator of Muslim countries is their religion. It is the opposite of what Marx said. It is human beliefs, values and religion, i.e., his consciousness that determines his cultural, political and intellectual conditions. The socioeconomic condition of a society is determined by the consciousness of its members.
The difference between the wealthy Muslim countries and the impoverished ones is owed to the oil factor. Oil is a wildcard. It changes the outcome, but not the rule. Muslim countries are incapable of generating wealth. They can generate terrorism. That is because of what they believe.

Despite the insistence of the Leftists to link Islamic terrorism to the socioeconomic condition of Muslims, the evidence show that wealthier Muslim kids are more likely to become terrorist and the factor is their depression caused by opulence. Female British Muslims as vulnerable to radicalisation as men, study shows

British Muslim women and girls are just as vulnerable to becoming radicalised as their male peers, according to the author of a study into the early stages of the process.
The news comes amid reports of girls as young as 14 travelling to Syria from the west, to marry Islamist fighters, bear their children and join their communities.
A study from the Queen Mary University of London has found that suffering from depression, being financially comfortable, well-educated and socially isolated were common factors among those sympathetic to acts of terrorism, identified by researchers as the first of two stages of early radicalisation. The second, it said, was contact with radical, unorthodox beliefs.
Those whose families had lived in the UK for generations were more vulnerable than migrants, the report found.
As many as 500 British fighters have travelled to Syria and Iraq, it has emerged, while academics say as many as 10% of them could be women.
Professor Kamaldeep Bhui, professor of cultural psychology and epidemiology at Queen Mary University, said that gender did not play a significant role in the risk of radicalisation: “Women are no less likely in our analysis to have sympathies” with terrorism, Bhui said. If anything, they were more likely to show such sympathy, but “not significantly so” he said. “There is an increasing epidemic of girls” he added.
Academics said as many as 60 British females have fled to Syria to join Islamic State (Isis), mainly between the ages of 16 and 24. They include Aqsa Mahmood, 20, a woman from Glasgow who fled to Syria in November last year. Twin sisters Zahra and Salma Halane, 16, left their home in Chorlton, Manchester, in July without their parents’ knowledge to follow their brother to Syria. And in August, Amal El-Wahabi, 27, a mother of two from north London, and wife of a fighter, became the first Briton to be convicted under terror laws of funding jihadi fighters in Syria. Her friend, Nawal Msaad, 27, who tried to smuggle £15,000 in rolled-up banknotes in her underwear, on a flight to Turkey form Heathrow, was cleared of the same offence.
At a briefing organised by the Science Media Centre, at the Wellcome Collection in London, Bhui said that parents worried about their children should look out for signs of depression or disaffection and warned that those who indulged in fantasy worlds or alternative identities were more at risk.
He interviewed 600 Muslims aged 18-45 from the Bangladeshi and Pakistani community in Bradford and London and asked detailed questions about their lives and their views on terrorism, in order to find out what drives Britons to go abroad to fight. He calculated their risk of radicalisation according to a score of sympathy or condemnation of a series of protests against injustice, from non-violent to terrorism and suicide bombing.
“The group who sympathised were younger, in full-time education and generally wealthy,” he said. “They were more likely to be depressed and socially isolated.”
He found that those who expressed sympathy with terrorist ideologies were more likely to be middle class, with a household income of £75,000, and likely to be disaffected or depressed, with a smaller social network than those who condemned terrorist acts, he said.
Bhui said that these individuals, when they come into contact with “unorthodox thinking, connect with it”. He said that mosques could act as a “protective factor”. Those in the Bangladeshi community were more likely to condemn terrorism, in the group he surveyed, he said.
Interestingly, Bhui said that migrants were less likely to become radicalised because they are poorer, busier with the need to earn money and they remembered the problems of their homeland. “Those who are having a hard life, who are migrants, are too busy to have fantastic thoughts about attacks,” he said.
The numbers of those who had sympathy with terrorism were small, he said, with 2.5% showing sympathy and 1.5% having sympathy for the most extreme acts of violence and terrorism.
He described government moves to strip Britons who travel Iraq or Syria to join Isis of their citizenship as a disaster. He said: “My personal view is that it would be a disaster, because you are criminalising them. Some of those kids are 15 to 18, young and probably inexperienced and police in Wales took a different stance. They didn’t want to criminalise. I would be happy to work with them.”

Turkey has bombed suspected Kurdish rebel positions in southeast Turkey amid growing tensions over Ankara’s alleged inaction in relation to the crisis in the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani.
In the first major airstrike against Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militia since peace talks started two years ago, F-16 and F-4 jets fighter jets hit rebel targets in Diyarbakır province.
Ankara said the operation came in response to PKK shelling against Turkish military outposts in the area in recent days.
The Turkish General Staff said the militants were involved in “assassination, armed incidents and attacks on security bases” in the wake of a nationwide wave of Kurdish unrest that left more than 30 people dead last week, Hurriyet newspaper reported.
Riots exploded in many eastern provinces, as angry Kurds protested against the government’s failure to support Kurdish fighters defending the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani from Islamic State militants.
The Sunni militants’ offensive on northern Syria has already caused 150,000 Syrian Kurds to flee to Turkey, heaping pressure on the Nato member to intervene, amid fears that Kobani’s fall might result in the massacre of civilians.
But the standoff over Kobani has also endangered and could ultimately destroy a fragile peace process with the PKK. That began in 2012 as an initiative of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to end a 30-year-old insurgency by militants demanding greater autonomy and Kurdish rights.
The PKK is listed as a terrorist organisation by the EU and the US and has links to Syrian Kurdish militia fighting against IS, the YPG.
Last week, the jailed leader of the PKK Abdullah Ocalan, who is serving a life sentence on the Imrali prison island, said in a statement that the peace process will be over if Isis take over Kobani.
In turn Ankara has rekindled anti-Kurdish rhetoric, with officials claiming the war in Syria was “between two terrorist groups”.
Turkey has been reluctant to join US-led coalition against IS despite the ally’s insistence. Yesterday the government made a surprise u-turn denying Washington the use of its air bases to attack the Islamist group previously known as Isis.
Its main concern was linked to the possibility of Turkish and Syrian Kurds fighting together against IS, laying out the foundation of a future independent state.

UN chief Ban blames Hamas’s jihad on Israel’s “occupation”
What occupation? Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005. Where is the thriving “Palestinian”-ruled Gaza we were promised? The peace, love and happiness that unilateral withdrawal promised? Why does any rational human being believe in the annihilationist two-state solution? What is Ban Ki-moon smoking?

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon blamed last summer’s Gaza war on Israel’s “occupation” of Palestinian territories, as he called on both parties to finalized an agreement for a two-state solution.
“We must not lose sight of the root causes of the recent hostilities: a restrictive occupation that has lasted almost half a century, the continued denial of Palestinian rights and the lack of tangible progress in peace negotiations,” Ban said.
He spoke on Sunday at a donor conference in Cairo to raise funds to repair the damage from the Gaza war. On Monday he is expected to visit Israel, where he will meet with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, President Reuven Rivlin and Justice Minister Tzipi Livni. On Tuesday he will visit Gaza.
In Cairo, he said, “I call on all parties to come together to chart a clear course towards a just and final peace — including achieving a full lifting of the blockade, ensuring Israel’s legitimate security concerns; and establishing two States living side by side in peace and security.”
Ban added, “Going back to the status quo is not an option; this is the moment for transformational change.”
Gaza, he warned, remains a “tinder box.”
Without a peace agreement, Ban said, he feared that Gaza wars and donor conferences to repair the damage would become an annual ritual.
Holding Israel and Hamas accountable for human rights violations would help create a climate that is conducive for peace.
“This must include an investigation into potential violations of international humanitarian law by all parties to the conflict,” Ban said.
The UN is conducting a number of investigations into the Gaza war, including a high-profile one by the UN Human Rights Council that is due to be submitted in March, 2015.

Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, the rabbi of the Kotel (Western Wall) and Holy Sites, decried the Arab attempts to wreck the week-long Sukkot holiday by launching violent riots against police and Jewish visitors on the Temple Mount, the holiest site in Judaism.
Speaking to Arutz Sheva, the rabbi argued that the Arab rioters are intentionally trying to prevent Jews from reaching the site on Sukkot, one of the three Jewish pilgrimage holidays that in ancient times required Jews to travel to the Temple in Jerusalem, a practice maintained by many.
“The Arab leadership’s feigned ignorance in the face of these acts of violence by young rioters is shocking,” said Rabbi Rabinowitz.
“How can they deny the reality that the Temple Mount and the (Al-Aqsa) mosque has been turned into a terror base?”
Indeed, on Friday police prepared for riots by limiting access for Muslims over concerns that ongoing riots would be further inflamed, particularly after Hamas called for that violence the night before saying “we will fight till the last drop of blood.”

“If someone harms the holiness of the site it’s the rioters manipulating the sensitivity and holiness of the location to harm the gentle fabric in the Old City, throwing rocks and molotov cocktails from the mosque,” emphasized the rabbi.
The Jordanian Waqf (Islamic trust) that holds de facto rule over the site has banned Jewish prayer at the site, while at the very least turning a blind eye to constant violent rioting. According to the rabbi, the Al-Aqsa Mosque is not being treated as a holy site by the Waqf – rather it is a political trump card.
“We have never heard of a ‘holy site’ being a site of violence,” said Rabbi Rabinowitz. “These activities demonstrate that the Temple Mount for them is a platform for a political struggle and not a religious matter.”
The rabbi called on the Arab leadership to “gird courage and condemn the rioters, and distance them from the Temple Mount, and the world must condemn the acts of violence and not defend rioters when they use the holy site for violence.”
Rabbi Rabinowitz called on Jews to visit Jerusalem during Sukkot: “that’s the answer to the attempts of these hooligans trying to disrupt the traditions of the house of Israel.”
Ahead of the first day of Sukkot on Wednesday, Muslim rioters hurled rocks and fireworks at police wounding at least four officers; in response, Jordan blamed the victim by condemning Israel for arresting nine attacking rioters during the chaos.
Shabak (Israel Security Agency) revealed in May that senior Hamas terrorist Mohammed Toameh had been captured and admitted in investigation that the group funds violent riots on the Temple Mount.
Toameh stated that Islamist groups in Israel launder Hamas cash and “donate” it to young Muslims to “study Islam” on the Temple Mount – in fact, they were earning between 4,000 and 5,000 shekels a month to throw rocks when Jews visit the site so as to block Jewish access.

The leftist/Islamic lie that is rammed down our throats by Islamic supremacists like Hamas-CAIR and Islamic apologists like President Obama, John Kerry, the media and academics across the world that this has nothing to do with Islam is absurd on its face. It is outrageous, false and fatal. They will attribute jihad to poverty, illiteracy, culture — anything but its true origins. One Muslima who joined the jihad, Aqsa Mahmood, grew up in an affluent neighborhood and attended a prestigious private school. Giving further proof to the lie (as if we needed more) that poverty, disaffection, illiteracy blah blah blah is the motivator behind Muslims going Islam.
Thousands of Muslims from Europe and North America who are flocking to the Middle East to wage jihad grew up in the West, went to good schools and came from affluent homes.
At the risk of repeating myself for the umpeenth time, this war is ideological. It’s religious and political. Because Islam is political. Nationality, race, sex, ethnicity, borders, hair color, shoe size are irrelevant. It is Islamic jihad. That is the common thread. Holy war. Period.
Rappers in Germany, doctors in Glasgow, chemical engineering students in Canada, heart surgeons in Saudi Arabia, university students in Britain, imams in America, herdsmen in Nigeria and so forth – what brings these wildly different people together? Jihad. From the Sahara to the Kalahari, London to Lisbon, Manhattan to Madrid, Bali to Boston, Tiananmen Square to Thailand, Myanmar to Malaysia, Nairobi to Nigeria ….. no matter what the background, upbringing, schooling, wealth or poverty, color, what have you, it doesn’t matter. The understanding of Islam and jihad is the same, and it is the motive, the incitement to this monstrous war on the West and the East and all points in between.
If the world was as concerned with the mass slaughter of non-Muslims by jihadists as they are about the fictional narrative of “islamophobia,” we might begin to defeat this enemy of humanity.

Tarik Hassane, 21, known to friends as ‘The Surgeon’, was being questioned last night over allegations he wanted to bring terror to the streets of Britain.
He was Tasered by armed police who stormed a relative’s flat where he was sleeping after flying into the country. The devout Muslim, studying in Sudan, is suspected of travelling to Syria and conspiring with the brutal terror group.
Three of his friends, all aged 20 or 21, were also held by Scotland Yard counter-terrorism officers.
Magistrates have granted police an extra five days to question four men arrested on suspicion of plotting a terrorist attack on the UK, the Met said this morning.

One of them, Gusai Abuzeid, 21, a student at the Greenwich School of Management and part-time Primark worker, was arrested at home in Central London. His brother said his sibling was not religious and could not be involved in an Islamist plot.
One line of inquiry is that the men were plotting a beheading to emulate hostage murderer Jihadi John.
Hassane was arrested on Tuesday on the Princess Alice Estate, West London, where two of the July 21 bombers were found nine years ago. Armed police searched flats occupied by his aunt and uncle. One witness heard ‘three bangs’ before he was dragged out. She said: ‘His face was belligerent, angry, not at all remorseful and a complete look of hate.’
Hours earlier, the suspect tweeted that he had flown into the country, adding: ‘Oi lads … I smell war.’
He has been at the University of Medical Sciences and Technology in Khartoum since September 2013.
Security services believe that he has travelled to Syria and met with hard-line militants there.
Hassane is of Moroccan and Saudi Arabian heritage and was educated at Westminster City School. Teachers made him a ‘maths ambassador’ and he wrote award-winning poetry about his passion for football.

But neighbours said he later hung around with North Africans who pushed him towards extremist views.
His family hoped he would study at prestigious King’s College London, but he failed to get the grades.
He is a prolific user of social media, where he has condemned women for wearing make-up. He posted that so many friends had died in Syria ‘there needs to be an In the Hearts of Green Birds specifically for West London’ – a reference to a Bosnian video that celebrated ‘martyrs’ with pictures of their dead bodies. He has also urged Muslims to pray for jihadi fighters.

Adai Abuzeid said six of his family, including his grandmother and father, a refugee from Libya, were forced to the floor. He said: ‘I looked at Gusai, using my eyes to ask what was going on. He looked baffled – that’s how I know he hasn’t done anything … He’s working hard to make something of his life. I can’t believe he’s been arrested – it doesn’t make sense.
‘If anything, he’s not really a Muslim – he doesn’t pray. He’s not political either. Our whole family is against what is going on out there.’
Mr Abuzeid said his brother had known Hassane since primary school, but they had ‘drifted apart’.

Last night, Scotland Yard Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe said the ‘drumbeat around terrorism has changed’. He said: ‘We are having to be more interventionist and a lot of it is linked back to Syria and Iraq. These are arrests that in some way or other have got that sort of link.’
Whitehall officials said the move may have ‘foiled the early stages’ of a planned attack. The men, arrested under the Terrorism Act on suspicion of being involved in the commission, preparation or instigation of terrorism, can be held for 14 days.
One expert warned ‘around 1,000’ young British men have flown to Syria to fight. Raffaello Pantucci, of the Royal United Services Institute, said many are ‘excited’ by IS propaganda.

Former Guantanamo Bay detainee Moazzam Begg yesterday said he offered to negotiate with IS to free Alan Henning – but the foreign office turned him down. Mr Begg suggested he knew the terrorists.
In response, the Prime Minister said: ‘We are very happy to work with anybody. My understanding is that Moazzam Begg did make some appeals, sadly, as we know, those appeals fell on deaf ears . . .
‘But if Moazzam Begg has information to provide about who these people are, he should provide it.’
Mr Begg is a controversial figure who, until last week, was awaiting trial on seven terror charges relating to Syria. The case against him was dropped after new intelligence from MI5.
In yesterday’s interview, on BBC Radio Four’s Today programme, he declined to say he wished for the destruction of IS – but insisted he could have helped in the case of Mr Henning.
