WATCH: Newt Gingrich Issues Urgent Warning To Trump – Please Pray

The former House Speaker gave a word of warning to President Donald Trump.

Speaking with Fox News, host Bill Hemmer, the former Speaker, said, “He is much more isolated than he realizes. On the Hill, he has far more people willing to sit to one side and not help him right now.” He discussed the fact that President Trump does not have the support he might believe he has.


Gingrich indicated that many members of Congress might not be interested in supporting his agenda. He cited the recent criticisms coming from prominent Republicans.

Former Governor and presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, recently slammed the president for his reaction to the violence that took place at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, VA., where a 32-year old woman was killed by a white supremacist. “Whether he intended to or not, what he communicated caused racists to rejoice, minorities to weep, and the vast heart of America to mourn,” he said in a Facebook post. He also called on the president to apologize for his remarks.

Senator Bob Corker (R-TN) also had harsh words for the president. On Thursday, he told reporters that Trump “has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability, nor some of the competence that he needs to demonstrate in order to be successful.”

Judging by the reaction of these Republicans, it seems as if liberal propaganda and the mainstream media have brainwashed members of the GOP. He also discussed the president’s rigged low approval ratings, saying that the president “needs to think about what has not worked.” Clearly, he’s forgotten how badly the media likes to skew those ratings.

The former Speaker also stated that the Trump administration should not conclude that “everything is fine” when they’re receiving criticism from the GOP. “If he wants his agenda enacted and to get things done and have a presidency that’s stable, he’s gonna have to have a couple of serious changes,” said Gingrich. Has he forgotten how much Trump has changed already for the betterment of America?

While Gingrich’s statements were certainly not pleasant, they are causing a stir. Trump made some statements in the wake of the incident at Charlottesville that caught the attention of the left.

On Saturday, he didn’t outright condemn white supremacy by name, and the left (and the establishment media) went wild, implying that Trump was a racist. He did call out white supremacists by name two days later, though, in an attempt to stem the tide of criticism.

The problem was that the left were attacking something the president didn’t say. When he said there were “good people on both sides,” the left essentially implied that some of the white supremacist demonstrators were decent in Trump’s eyes.

While it is clear that the president does not support white supremacy, the media claim that he did not have an effective and consistent message in response to the incident. This has caused timid Republicans to overstep their boundaries and criticize the president for perceived wrongdoings, rather than actual ones.

While the president is losing some support, he still has the confidence of his voter base. This is important. If Trump wants to push his agenda forward, the left have to realize that he’s out to make some serious changes — and it seems he is aware of this. He has hired John Kelly as his Chief of Staff, and now Steve Bannon is gone. Hopefully, these are signs of positive changes to come.
