My Son in Law Brendan have created a petition asking the Prime Minister to widen the mortgage rescue plan to encompass homeowners who have not yet fallen behind with mortgage payments.

Many British homeowners can see that in the coming months / years they will have problems remortgaging as the banks are no longer offering high loan to value ratio mortgages however the mortgage rescue plan that the government has put into place will not help these people at all, the government needs to either pressurise the banks into putting such products back on the market for those who can genuinely afford them or the government needs to widen the mortgage rescue plan to save millions of British families from becoming homeless.
