Once again, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan has distanced himself from the President after Trump took a sledgehammer to MSNBC hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski this morning.

Fed up with negative coverage from the two MSNBC lovebirds, Trump tweeted out the following:

The media, of course, pounced on the comments. Now reporters are asking Republicans what they think about the tweets, using them as useful idiots to demean the president.

So what does Paul Ryan do when asked about Trump’s remarks? Does he stand with the President as the media tries to tear him down?

No, of course not. Ryan does what he does best: He cowered before the media and begged for respectability.

Speaker Paul Ryan criticized President Donald Trump on Thursday for a crude attack on MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski’s physical appearance.
“I don’t see that as an appropriate comment,” Ryan said at a press conference, less than three hours after Trump ridiculed “low I.Q. Crazy Mika” for “bleeding badly from a face-lift.”

If you remember, Ryan played this game numerous times during Trump’s campaign. On multiple occasions, Ryan withdrew his support of Trump, and even backed out of campaigning with him.

This is cowardly behavior and, if you excuse my phrase, not “appropriate” for a Republican leader who should be defending his president.

If Ryan doesn’t want to have Trump’s back, he should think about laying down the Speaker’s gavel. Otherwise, he’s an enemy of the White House.
