Angels appear in the Bible from the beginning to the end, from the Book of
Genesis to the Book of Revelation.
A well known appearance often spoken of..
Genesis 18:1-3
The Three Angels Appear to Abraham
And the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day. He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men stood in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them, and bowed himself to the earth, and said, "My lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant."

The phrase "entertaining angels" refers to the practice of treating all guests--be they kings or peasants--as if they were visiting angels.

We never know when we could be entertaining angels.
