Sad to say today I have posted up prayer request for a whole Christian family who are far away from God.
I wonder if it was because the Mother did not show an example. There are times it is the parents fault as I see in this case. Whilst she was attending church and encouraging the children they were thriving going along to meetings regularly and happily taking part in the band in the Salvation Army, She stopped going and so did they.

Ok some may say you cannot blame the mother. But we are told to train the child up in the ways of the Lord.
Proverbs 22: 6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

I am praying all will return.

Just because they have been brought up in a Christian home does not necessarily mean they have a relationship with Christ.
I think often they have lead a sheltered life and some rebel and want to taste what their parents have spoken so much against.
Thank's be to God at least when things go wrong, they know the way back and like the prodigals that return are welcomed back into the fold.
Many through their experiences are able to be used of God to minister to others of the downfalls.
I know of one particular family where this has happened.
