You are children of light

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written 
for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures 
might have hope.

Today's scripture tells us the Bible (it is OT that is referred to by 
Paul) has prophecies so that we have patience and hold on to our faith, 
for this Paul says we need to learn and understand the prophecies.

Today we see many people are impatient and shaken in faith looking at 
what is happening, all because they are not aware what is due next. They 
know the start and the end (that too some are confused of the end) but 
the milestones that come along the path are not known to them.

When the Lord started teaching me and leading me to write on various 
topics, even before I wrote on things like patience, heart etc. the Lord 
first got me to write on creation and about (some of) its major milestones.

It is sad that very few Churches give importance to the OT. They do not 
realize it is not possible to understand the NT without understanding 
the OT. The NT is a curtain opener to the OT and it is OT that is 
finisher of the NT. So to understand the Bible we start with reading and 
studying the NT, then go to the OT and come back to the NT to understand 
it fully.

Leaving for 2 books of the NT all books are totally dependent on the OT, 
the 2 books are partly dependent (one is prophetic while other is 
chronology). Even the book Revelation is total dependent on the OT, it 
is like an expounded summary of events from the books of Prophets put in 
a jumbled order.

One of the first traps set for Christians was the splitting of the Bible 
into OT and NT and the other was giving people the symbol of the 
crucifix so as to replace the understanding of the cross of Christ.

Let us be children of light and not children of darkness, God desires we 
know what is next so that we are not shaken in faith and are not 
impatient. He has written it in His Book and He desires we study and 
understand it.

Lord You are Almighty and Omnipresent God, nothing is hidden from You. 
As your children You want us also to be aware of things so You wrote 
then in your Book so that who has wisdom and desire to know may know and 
be strong. Lord we pray your people not fall prey to deceit and to

Dependency on the congregation

2 Corinthians 11:9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was 
chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren 
which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself 
from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

If Jesus dwelled in our time wonder what vehicle He would drive. 
According to what I know of Him other than using public transport even 
if He had a vehicle He would use a scooter which gave good millage and 
quick to move around in the city. And even if someone gave Him a 4 wheel 
drive He would give to one of His greedy disciples like Judas to use and 
take only when He really needed it.

Last Saturday I was at an opening of a Church and the preacher sharing 
the Word truly said in the start the Pastor of the Church is very humble 
and growth of the Pastor is propositional to the growth of the size of 
the congregation.

If we read Malachi 3:10 it clearly says 'bring you all the tithes into 
the storehouse that there may be meat in the house'. It does not say 
meat for the Pastor, his family, the leaders etc. Tithes are supposed to 
be used for the spiritual building of the congregation. Yes the Pastor 
is allowed to take a share of the tithe and Paul says he has right to 
take a share but did not since he did not want to get paid for his 
service in earthly riches.

There are some main stream Churches in Mumbai which pay corporate like 
salaries to its Pastors. One Evangelist boasted from the podium a 6 
digit salary he paid his Pastors and his preaching was more about giving.

Today's message we see Paul who was a business man making and selling 
tents and taking care of not only his own expenses but also the expenses 
of his colleagues, he was experiencing a bad time and was in need. Even 
though he was in need he did not ask the congregation he set up in 
Corinth which was a rich metropolis city. Paul confirms the Lord met his 
needs by a brother from Macedonia.

Pastors today speak of trusting God but their eyes are on the pockets of 
their congregation. The people who give more are given more importance 
in the Church. If these people do spiritual blunders you will find the 
Pastor would rarely dare to correct the person unless the whole 
congregation stands up against the Pastor.

There are famous Preachers who first take a share of the collection of 
the any event and then leave the people who organized the event to pay 
the bills with what remains. Many a times the organizers have had to 
sell their belongings even their house to pay the bills. The organizers 
think God will be pleased with what they did but God sees it as foolishness.

Let us be wise and let us work according to the way the Lord has set to 
run His house. It is His sheep not our sheep so let His will be done.

Lord, You are the Good shepherd who gave His life for His sheep. Lord we 
pray as shepherds we too learn to give more than to take or ask a value 
for what we give. Lord we pray your house runs like You have set it to

Why is God hiding Himself?

Mark 3:11, 12 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before 
him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God. And he straitly charged 
them that they should not make him known.

Bible says not only the Angels know God but even the fallen angels (evil 
spirits) know God and tremble, man on the other hand is told again and 
again ‘know your Lord your God’.

The term sinner was first used for man even though the fallen angels 
were evil, they were not called sinners, it was only after the floods of 
Noah that the fallen angels were called devils (demons, goats), Satan 
(plural and means adversaries). We see Angels are called Sons of God and 
even fallen angels were referred by that term just before the floods.

Fallen angels / evil spirits know more of God than man does and we see 
Jesus forbid the unclean / evil spirits to make Him known. When they saw 
Him it is written they fell down and cried saying ‘Thou are Son of God’. 
If one reads the Greek text the text uses the Greek word ‘tov’ which 
means ‘the’ and usual the Greek ‘ho’ is not there. The term Sons of God 
for man is used only once in Romans 8:14 and that too it unlike ‘Son The 
God’ used for Jesus, here it is written ‘Sons god’ without ‘tov’ / 
‘the’. Yes in Greek grammar one can put the word ‘of’ due to the 
rendering of the words in the sentence. Everywhere leaving for Romans 
8:14 scriptures related to man it is the words ‘children of God’ that is 
translated as ‘Sons of God’ in many English Translations i.e. John 1:12. 
What I want to highlight is the difference in the term ‘Son of God’ used 
for Jesus and for man or Angels. It is only by the understanding of this 
we will understand why Jesus as man never glorified Himself, He said 
only in the end when He returns to the Father will He be glorified.

Till date people are trying to understand God and the relationship 
between the Father, Son and Spirit and they have partly managed to know 
Him. The orthodox theological definition of Trinity is not wrong but 
also it does not fully comprehend the understanding of God, it does not 
touch even 25% of who God is.

It is only in the end when the Truth is whole in us and man has 
overcome, will man know God fully. There are so many questions about God 
which are unanswered even today and the main reason is man has not 
understood the simple term ‘Spirit’ which means ‘life’. So to be Son of 
God like said in Romans 8:14, we need to have the Life of God in us, 
that does not means life that comes from God, for all living things 
including fallen angels also got their life from God, it means a life 
that manifests God.

Lord humbled Himself and become man Jesus to show us what we need to 
become. It is only when we become like Jesus will we know God and know 
who Lord Jesus Christ really is and for this Jesus gave us His Spirit. 
It is the Spirit of God / Spirit of Truth who will lead us to all Truth 
and let us know the Lord Jesus Christ since the Lord has forbidden the 
Angels or fallen angels to make Him be known.

Lord You alone are God and the Bible says there is only One God. Father 
Lord You are Holy and as John 1:18 says no being has seen You leaving 
for the Son. Lord we pray we overcome this corruption and know You 
through your Word and by your Spirit and not through the wisdom of man. 
Lord we pray for more and more revelation of You to your people. We pray 
for windows of Heaven be opened via your Spirit and man may see and know 
You more...

Being saved by the Gospel

1 Corinthians 15:1, 2 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel 
which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye 
stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached 
unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

People think if they believe in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ they 
are forever saved.

It is true that a person is saved when that person believes in the 
Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, but it is not so simple that today I 
believe and forever I am saved. If I die after some years it is not 
necessary I will be saved. Paul uses the words 'stand in it' that means 
at the time of death I still need to believe in the Gospel of the Lord 
Jesus Christ. Paul says in his last words 'unless ye have believed in 
vain' which means we can and have the option of rejecting the Gospel and 
thus rejecting being saved.

So one does not become a Christian due to faith exercised a day of their 
life. To be a Christ one need to keep exercising ones' faith in the 
salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ. One needs to be an everyday 
Christian to be a Christian until one sleeps in the Lord.

One thing that the Lord suggested in the Bible is to keep the first 
Manna which means the day we were saved in the Lord that day should 
always be fresh in our minds. We should always remember what we were and 
how the Lord saved us by revealing Himself to us.

The Lord is telling us not to take our faith very likely, unless we keep 
exercising our faith it will not be strong and not sustain through our 
journey in this life time. So let us make sure we daily spend time 
building our faith, feeding it with testimonies and the Word. People who 
have preached the Gospel to lost souls should also keep track of them 
and follow up to make sure the harvest is kept safe in Him.

Lord we pray we do not take our salvation for granted. We pray that your 
people realize they need to build their faith regularly so that they do 
not fall and reject the Gospel. We pray they realize that a person does 
not become a Christian due to one day but starts becoming a Christian 
one day and need to remain Christian from that day until the day they 
sleep in You...

Baptism of Repentance

Luke 3:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the 
baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;

When the word 'repentance' is spoken the first thing that comes to mind 
of most is to be sorry. People think repentance is all about grieving, 
being sad, being sorrowful, but what the Bible says as repentance is 
beyond that. One can repent without shedding a tear.

The Greek language is very rich and it holds the true meaning in its 
rendering of the word. The word translated as repentance is metanoia / 
metanoeo (I repent). This word is a compound word and is made of 2 words 
'meta' which means after or with, the other word is 'noieo' which means 
understanding. So the word translated as repentance actually means 
'after understanding'.

Man sinned [erred] because of lack of understanding due to which man 
lost the Fruit of Truth. Jesus said we will be set free (from sin) only 
when we follow Him and will know the truth. When we follow Jesus (that 
means live our lives as He asks us to) we start to understand and know 
the truth and it is then we will be set free from the bonds of sin.

Paul renders the word sin in a very perfect way in his epistles to the 
Romans and Corinthians, he uses the word corruption. Sin does nothing 
other than corrupt and deforms our spirit. Nothing corrupt can exist 
before God and all life comes from God, therefore sin does not allow us 
dwell in the presence of God and thus sin leads us to death (second 
death that is of the spirit).

Jesus did not come to fight sin. He did pay the penalty of our sins by 
which He made peace between man and God so that man receives the Spirit 
of Truth and by receiving the Spirit of Truth we may have the right 
understanding and know the Truth again (receive the Fruit of Truth which 
we lost when Adam and Eve sinned). It is only when truth exists in us 
(in whole) that sin and death has no hold, effect, consequence on us.

True repentance is not about being sorry but is about correcting oneself 
and coming on the right path or doing what is right. We can cry and sob 
all day but we will only fool ourselves not God. God does not desire we 
cry but desires we stop existing in darkness. He desires we dwell in 
light, the light of truth. He desires we be whole. We can cry for 
hurting God and for being far from Him, but only correction would call 
it repentance.

If one truly understands baptism of repentance, one would know it 
requires us to be baptized in Christ and be baptized in the Holy Spirit.

Lord You are Righteous and Holy God. You are Light and no darkness can 
dwell before You. Lord nothing corrupt can exist before You, You did not 
throw us out of Heaven for You hated us but did so to give us another 
chance to overcome corruption. You paid the price for our sins so as to 
make peace between You and us and by this we receive your Spirit. It is 
your Spirit that leads us to become whole. Lord we pray your people 
repent and be whole...

God hates the intellectual

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for 
ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in 
yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

If you read the 7 woes in Matthew 23 or even those in the other Gospels, 
Jesus names first the scribes and then names the Pharisees. More than 
the religious people, God hates the intellectual people.

God is a Being full of wisdom, His wisdom is immeasurable, it is 
incomprehensible. You may wonder if God is full of wisdom then how He 
can hate the intellectual. Per say God does not hate intelligence. He 
gives us, those who believe in His Son His Spirit of Truth Who leads us 
to all understanding, so not true Christian would be a person lacking 
wisdom. But the Lord does not give His Spirit to those who think they 
know (all who are baptize in Jesus Christ receive the promise of the 
Holy Spirit and as they surrender to the Holy Spirit then starts their 
journey of baptism in the Holy Spirit).

When I came into the Lord I was an intellectual person so the Lord 
needed to deal with my intelligence first. I would try to scientifically 
explain miracles, the existence of God and creation even though I was a 
Christian (was a Catholic then, to be specific). Then one day as I was 
praying for a very old person (70years above) suffering of cancer of the 
backbone, that too in his last stage where doctors gave up on him and 
even stopped his medicine (he was on painkillers and was taking morphine 
which made him a drug addict; they had already replaced some segments of 
his spinal column with those made of steel). This man was a Muslim, whom 
I had not met, it was the love and tears of his daughter and 
daughter-in-law that touched my heart and caused me to pray for him. He 
was about 1500kms from where I was praying. No one told him I was 
praying for him and as I was praying for him, this man instantly gets 
healed and starts doing all his personal work. The next day this bed 
ridden man goes to the bank and to the market. The first time I met him 
/saw him was a few days later to his healing as he was getting off a 
boat, coming from a picnic, that too from a place which had lots of 
steps to climb. God challenged me to explain this scientifically.

Today we see many intellectual people bringing people to Churches but 
not letting them know God. They themselves do not know God so do not 
allow others to know God. In the name of God they become a hurdle for 
those who seek God. The reason is their wisdom is wisdom of the world 
and not of God and since it is not of God it does not built people in 
the Lord but makes them feel they know God.

The Word of God is not just words and anyone who claims to know God 
should be a man who also manifests His Word. If Jesus just spoke and did 
not do what He did then would people follow Him?

As one is baptized more and more in the Holy Spirit one receives more of 
His gifts. True knowledge comes only from the Holy Spirit and so if 
knowledge and gifts do not show together then we need to question this 
knowledge. The proportion may vary but absence of either one should be a 
warning for us. That also means a person doing healing, deliverance, 
praying in tongues, prophesying etc. but having no understanding or does 
not grow in understanding of the Word of God is also dangerous.

Lord the Church is filled with people who have learned from others and 
very few are there who learn from You. Lord Jesus You said the one I 
send (Holy Spirit - the Spirit of Truth) will lead us to all 
understanding bring us to know You and all what You spoke (Your Word). 
We pray Lord that your people are not filled with yeast; that they do 
not depend more on the knowledge that comes from man but on the 
knowledge that comes from God...

At the sound of the trumpet

Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a 
trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, 
from one end of heaven to the other.

This topic of the Lord second coming is the most talked about topic but 
the least studied topic. If you want to hear the weirdest of 
understandings then discuss this topic. This is not only the case with 
the general Christian Believers but also of the so called learned 
theologians. There are very few who studied it and they are the ones who 
do not look up waiting for the appearance of Christ nor do they scream 
on roof tops that end is at hand. No doubt each one needs to prepare for 
the end today for if we sleep in Christ today, we will rise only when He 
comes again.

All the Feasts of the Old Testament are connected to Christ and everyone 
has been fulfilled leaving to one major feast which is the Feast of 
Trumpets. The Feast of Trumpets (Jewish feast of Rosh Hashana) 
comesbefore the Feast of Tents / Tabernacle which is concerning Christ's 
birth as man (tent). The Feast of Trumpets is concerning the second 
coming of Christ. The Lord fulfilled every feast at its time so the 
feast of Trumpets will also be fulfilled at its times. That means when 
Christ comes He will come only at the Feast of Trumpets and not on any 
other day. Not only is the Lord's second coming 'day of the year' given, 
but even the time around when it will happen is given. These clues are 
found in the books of Moses and also of the Prophets. Daniel was 
meditating on this and the Lord spoke to him in plain language saying 
'time and time and a half' these things will be fulfilled (this was 
conformed again in other scriptures). The word 'time' speaks of a period 
of time which here is 1000years (this also can be confirmed via other 
scriptures). Thus the end would be about 2500years.

You would say bro if the day of the year and the period are given then 
how is it that Jesus said the day and hour is not known to anyone not 
even the Angels in Heaven other than the Father.

Note Jesus used the term day and hour and not just day. In the Bible day 
means season and wherever hour is given it speaks of exact time. In the 
Bible even if you get into Bible codes the exact date is not revealed. 
We know the day when He will come which is somewhere in October but 
which year is not known for 2500 is not 2500AD. Even today the exact 
year in which Jesus was born is still contested. We also do not know if 
the period started from the birth of Christ or from its day of 
revelation. So if one goes by approximates we are talking of 483 years 
(173,880 days) between Daniel and Christ (this we know from the exact 
day revealed of the birth of Christ - Daniel 9:24-25 which is calculated 
as 483 years @360days/year and was fulfilled).

Jesus as man was 100percent man and as man all He knew was revealed 
through the scriptures and the Spirit of God. So if the Lord has not 
revealed in scriptures then no man will know, including God the Son who

Lord Jesus when You were asked about the end although You said You do 
not know the day and hour yet You gave lots of signs that lead us to the 
end. You knew the timeline of events that lead us to the end. You spoke 
of great tribulation but yet said the end will not come for You knew the 
end would be sudden for most will be spiritual asleep. As Paul said they 
will speak of (false) peace and suddenly the end would come. Lord we 
pray we remain awake so that end does not come as a thief nor be like 
the people outside the ark of Noah but be like the people inside the ark 
who were ready for the floods...

This is a mathematical prophecy . . .

- A week of years (shabua or shabu'im) = 7 years

- "Cut-off". . . the Hebrew word used was karath, literally 
means "executed!"

- The "70th Week" (the last 7 years) of this prophecy is yet future 
... the "Apocalypse."

The Bible uses 360 day years for prophecies and expects us to add the 
appropriate 'leap months' on schedule. So, the easiest way to unravel 
this prophecy is to first convert this prophecy into days...

1. Add 7 + 62 weeks of years = 69 weeks of years in this prophecy

2. Multiply 69 (weeks) x 7 (to get the total number of years in this 
prophecy) = 483 years

3. Multiply 483 years x 360 (to get the total number of days in this 
prophecy) = 173,880 days

Oneness

John 17:22, 23 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; 
that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, 
that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that 
thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

This topic of oneness of God is a very essential topic and causes people 
to define a Christian as a heretic or main stream Christian if the 
general belief is not followed. The general belief is term as Trinity - 
three beings yet one. There is no denying the existence of 3 beings and 
there is no denying their oneness and any Christian who does not believe 
this is not a Christian. Now the problem comes when we ask Christians to 
explain the oneness.

The term Trinity is taken from pagan beliefs and is not a term from the 
Bible. The Bible more appropriate uses the term Godhead, this term talks 
of actual one yet more not more having common attributes.

The problem is this oneness terminology is explained by intellectual 
people and not spiritual people. The intellectual people with limited 
wisdom think 2 dimensional placing the 3 side by side and linking the 
three. That is why many among them think Heaven is physically up or some 
place in space.

Let us not limit God in our limited worldly understanding. To the 
Trinity theologians I ask about today’s scriptures where we become one 
with God after we are redeemed and married to Him in Heaven (Heavenly 
marriage is about becoming one and not like earthly marriage). Jesus 
said (from OT) ‘if He has called you gods unto whom the word of God 
came, and the scripture cannot be broken’. This confirms our oneness 
with Him in Heaven. No doubt we will not be equal to the Son but surely 
we will be like Him and be as integrated or part of the Father as He is.

When I started asking God to explain His oneness He led me to think 
concentric instead of in planar fashion (side by side in a plane 
surface). It is our worldly limited intelligence that tells us if there 
are two they have to be side by side and can not one within another, for 
we think everything exist in the flesh.

God is not of flesh He is Spirit, even the Son is Spirit and the Holy 
Spirit is Spirit. In Heaven we too will be spirit being like the Angels. 
Do not even dream of looking like what we look here (our beauty will be 
the beauty of our soul / inner-man and not the flesh). If we in Heaven 
will be part of the Father then think He who is called Holy day and 
night in Heaven would He allow any thing that is not holy to be part of Him?

We surely cannot achieve holiness like that of God for Holiness will be 
gifted by the Father like Righteousness and Truth is gifted to us by the 
Son and Spirit respectively. But if we do not pursue them can we get 
them. If I do not believe the Son and pursue His nature will I receive 
His Righteousness? If I do not pursue the Truth through the Word of God 
would the Spirit bring us to its understanding?

Can we be termed as part of His Family if we do not have anything common 
with Him and if not part of His Family then can we be even dream to be 
part of Him?

Holiness is mistakenly equaled to purity. Let us understand Holiness and 
if we want to go to Heaven then there is no option other than pursuing 
Holiness and becoming one like God is one.

Lord, your Word says there is only one God and yet speaks of the Father, 
Son and Spirit. We pray Lord your people hear and understand this 
relation through the Word and not through the pagan beliefs that have 
penetrated the Church. We pray they understand the Godhead and the 
Heavenly Marriage that awaits us in Heaven. We pray they may also 
understand nothing can exist without the Heavenly Temple after Judgment 
Day...

Do not chase a shadow

Psalms 37:9 [NASB] For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait 
upon the LORD, they shall inherit the land.

I normally quote the KJV but today I quoted the NASB since it translated 
the Hebrew word 'erets' as land. This word occurs 2504 times in the 
Bible and in KJV 1543 times it is translated as land and only 712 times 
it is translated as earth.

Today's scripture talks of those who do evil will perish and not exist, 
it goes on to say those who trust in the Lord will inherit the land. 
Does this scripture talk of property or does it talk of some specific 
'land'.

In the Gospels the word Israel occurs 30 times and in all the 4 Gospels 
Jesus spoke it 9 times (including the repeating of the event across the 
4 Gospels). In these 9 times Jesus more used the term 'sheep of Israel' 
not referring to the animals but referring to it symbolic, not just the 
sheep but also the term Israel. He also does the same with 'sheep of the 
house of Israel', not mentioning to any structure as house or any 
specific earthly family. Paul says we from different parts of the world 
are sons and daughters of Abraham by our faith in Jesus Christ, 
therefore inheritors of His promise (land).

We see most Christians have their eyes fixed to Israel and the Jews. 
Many mega Church Pastors even place the flag of Israel on their tables 
in their offices. The Jews have a blue star as their flag, they call it 
the symbol 'Star of David' but they do not know who the actual Star of 
David is and have rejected the Star but put His symbol as their national 
symbol. It is like stoning a person to death but roaming with his 
picture saying you love him and adore him very much.

The Believer Church has come from the Catholic Church. Are Catholics 
Christians? No, even though they claim to be, even though they hold the 
same book and even though they take the same names.

A Catholic follows a Jesus Christ who is incompetent and needs the help 
of His mother to help us. They believe in a God who is incompetent and 
needs help of man to get the job done. They believe in the Spirit of God 
who is incompetent and needs man to intercede to get the job done. They 
believe in the Bible but not all of it. They believe in Kingdom of God 
but not as written in the Word of God. Their Jesus is as much the Jesus 
of the Bible as Isa of the Quran is. Even their principle deity Mary is 
not Mary the mother of Jesus of the Bible. So if they say they believe 
in Jesus one need to ask them which Jesus? When they say they believe in 
the Word of God one needs to ask them which Word of God? If they say 
they 'honor' Mary one needs to ask them which Mary?

In 15th century AD a few people led by Martin Luther (he gave it a push) 
broke away from the Catholic Church since they realized the Church was 
not following the Word of God. They were called Protestants since they 
protested from the main congregation. Jesus was the greatest Protestant 
of the Jewish Church (which claims to be founded by Abraham). His 
followers were initially called 'Disciples of Jesus Christ', later they 
were 'People of The Way' and later were mockingly referred to 
'Christians' which means little Christs and the last name got stuck. Can 
we say Christians are Jews?

Christians are as much part of the Jewish Church as Believer is of the 
Catholic Church. We have common history but no common ideology or 
theology. Jews refer to the Commandments given in the Torah as Law of 
Moses and we refer it to as Law of the Lord given through Moses. Even 
though the matter may be same but how it is approached is different.

Abraham was promised a land and in many scriptures we see the Lord says 
the land He gave or promised to give to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and their 
descendants but in reality none got it right until today. Even during 
the time of David becoming king and having power of cast out the rulers 
of the land marked as Promised Land yet David did not attempt to claim 
it, he in fact had a treaty with the kings of those lands and let them 
rule it.

David was Man of God according to the heart of God; did he fail to 
understand the Promise? Jesus said Abraham saw Him and was pleased. 
Abraham did not sleep on his death in sadness but will gladness for he 
knew what the Lord promised.

This earth and all natural things in it will perish when the Lord 
returns. Understand the world is round and Bible says when He returns 
all living beings (humans) will see Him coming on a cloud. Let me tell 
you the cloud is not a real cloud but symbolizes glory and no point 
anywhere is visible from every part of the globe (even stars are not). 
Man can see not beyond the horizon and the horizon is approximate 30kms.

Heaven is not physically up for the earth is round. When Islam is 
questioned about the position of Paradise, before it was just up since 
for them then the world was flat now that they realized the world is 
round, they have started saying Paradise is located above Mecca and if 
it falls it will fall over Mecca.

Let us not be a foolish lot fighting or believing in some land as 
Promised Land. Let us not chase a shadow or a dog that chases its tail, 
they may catch it but we will not. Let us pursue the real Promised Land 
which is Heaven and the Lord is saying if we wait upon Him we will 
receive our promise.

Lord, You are Almighty God and Omnipotent God. There is nothing that is 
impossible to You and your hand is not short that what You spoke You are 
unable to bring to past. Lord we pray your people do not chase shadows 
and believe in worldly things. Let them be focused on the greater things 
of your Kingdom, things that do not perish and do not fade away...

The unprofitable people

Romans 3:12,13They are all gone out of the way, they are together become 
unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat 
is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the 
poison of asps is under their lips:

Yesterday we were given a message on how the people are immersed in 
distorting of the truth, we were also told as to why this is happening.

In today's message the Lord is continuing on this topic and has given us 
today's scriptures which are quoted by Paul from the books of Psalms and 
Isaiah. Through it the Lord talks to us of how even though Preachers / 
Evangelist are doing things yet they are unprofitable [the actual 
meaning is useless]. The Lord is saying all the activities they do are 
in no way benefiting His people.

The Lord associates three characteristics to the preachers: - their 
mouths are like open sepulchure, their tongues use deceit and lips 
poison of asps.

Sepulchure or grave (as per today) does not kill people but is a place 
where dead people are kept [gathering of dead people].

Satan is equated to a serpent not because snakes are evil. In the Bible 
snake symbolizes 2 things one is deceit (because it moves in a zigzag 
manner) and other is cursed (because it crawls on its belly). Satan is 
the father of deceit therefore shown as a snake, but at the same time 
even Jesus Christ hung on the crucifix was represented as a bronze snake 
on a pole for He became a cursed for us so that who-so-ever lifts his 
eyes unto Him is saved. In today's message the Lord is equating the 
tongues of Preachers to a snake (deceit) because even though they speak 
'good' they do not mean it. Many Preachers perform on stage like an 
actor does his profession.

The poison of a wasp does not kill but immobilizes its prey. The wasp 
then carried this living dead being to its nest and lays eggs in it so 
that when its eggs hatch its little ones will have food. It may sound 
harsh but today many Churches are family businesses which are inherited.

Evangelism has become a social media like Facebook where people need to 
post some activity to be in the social circle. Everything they do they 
use it to gain mileage and fame. Go to evangelical programs and you will 
find mostly the same people attending it again and again and their 
spiritual level is almost same level throughout years.

Jesus mostly worked outside the city limits even though His fame was 
spread throughout the land. He never worked to glorify Himself; all He 
did was to glorify the Father, He waited on the Father to glorify Him in 
His due time.

Today's message may be harsh but let us take it as a correction and 
change our ways. Let us work for the Kingdom of God and not for kingdom 
of man. Let the expansion of the Kingdom of God be not at fraction 
percentage but be in multiplications and this will happen only when we 
selflessly work for His Kingdom.

Lord, we dwell is a time where we see a lot of Christian programs 
happening but where Christ is absent. They are healings and miracles 
happening but hearts are not changing. People are getting converted not 
none are becoming disciples. The pace at which expansion of the Kingdom 
is happening we would need thousands of years more but such is not 
available for the end is written. Lord we pray change happens among the 
leaders so that things quicken. Let them realize if they do not then as 
your Word says You can created people for yourself from stones...

Before whom do you minister?

Ezekiel 44:12 Because they ministered unto them before their idols, and 
caused the house of Israel to fall into iniquity; therefore have I 
lifted up mine hand against them, saith the Lord GOD, and they shall 
bear their iniquity.

Today's scripture the word 'they' does not talk about people who do not 
know God but speaks of people who know God and minister to others in His 
name. Today's scripture says these people minister in the name of the 
Lord but they minister not before God but before their idols, because 
they minister not before God but before their idols, they have caused 
the people of God to fall into iniquity and because they have caused 
people to fall into iniquity, the Lord says His hand will be against 
them and they will bear their iniquity.

At literature level this scripture comes out quite clear. We can go 
further and get into the commentary by studying the historical 
background of this verse and we will know about idolatry the Israelites 
did right inside the Temple they build in the name of Jehovah. All this 
will be good knowledge but that will not change a person from inside, 
for they do not relate directly to us today.

The Word of God is eternal and talks to us in all our situations. It was 
sent for the salvation of mankind and until Judgment Day and the return 
of man to God, the Word of God will not return to the Father.

We know preachers (including Pastors) preach about God but as today's 
scripture says most of them do not preach before God but preach before 
their idols. Their idols could be themselves, or their seniors, or the 
worldly wise men in the congregation, or the purpose of holding people, 
or the purpose of finance etc. The Lord is saying because they do not 
preach before Him these preachers cause iniquity to come on the people 
and thus cause the hand of God to be against the people. Note this is 
not the only reason people (Christians) face problems but is one of the 
reasons. The Lord is alerting us that the person who should be 
instrument in leading people out of problems could be the cause of their 
problems.

When one goes into word (Hebrew and Greek word) study, one touches a 
deeper dimension of the scripture. The Hebrew word for idol comes from a 
verb which means to roll, the Hebrew word translated as iniquity comes 
from the word distortion.

Idol worship (may be an object, image or even people or desires) causes 
people not to grow or move ahead even though they are in motion. It 
causes people to go in circles and be in the same spiritual state. If we 
look at the spiritual growth of the Church, we will know how deep it is 
in idol worship and then it would be easy to find its various idols. It 
is because of the idolatry of the Church that we have so much distorted 
understanding of scriptures. Today's scripture says the Lord's hand is 
against His people and thus has caused them to be immersed in their 
distorted understanding.

Today the Lord says the only way out for the Church is the preachers 
should realize they are preaching not only in the name of the Lord but 
also in the presence of the Lord. The day preachers preach in the 
presence of the Lord the Church will be on fire for God and the Kingdom 
of God will expand.

Lord the Church grew in understanding in the early day, the days of the 
Apostles, after that the Church has been growing at snail speed. It has 
converted people but has not made many Christians. Many think all that 
needs to be known about the Word is already known therefore they do not 
need the Spirit or sought Him to reveal more and more of the Word. Holy 
Spirit, You are the Spirit of the Son, the Spirit of Truth and the Rock 
on which the Church is built. We pray Holy Spirit that the preachers 
depend more and more on You then on men, and when they preach they 
experience your presence...

In the end days

Isaiah 66:19,20And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those 
that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that 
draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not 
heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my 
glory among the Gentiles. And they shall bring all your brethren for an 
offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, 
and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy 
mountain Jerusalem, saith the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an 
offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.

This scripture has a dual prophecy it was partly fulfilled in 70AD where 
many Jews who fled Jerusalem were dispersed to various places. But then 
this fulfillment was just the shadow of what the prophecy is about.

The World was celebrating World Prayer Day last Sunday which must have 
pleased everyone that all denominations across 200 plus nations were 
praying on common points, I too would have been until I realized what 
was happening.

It may come as a surprise at times even praying can cause one to be far 
from God that is when praying overrides the purpose of God. You may say 
brother praying is good and Bible tells us to pray unceasingly, True. 
But prayer is supposed to be two way communications not one way. When we 
make prayer one way then it is not called prayer.

Last Sunday was (supposed to be) Pentecost Sunday to celebrate the day 
when the Holy Spirit was given to the Church and in other words it was 
the birthday of the Church in Christ and the day before the Lord gave us 
the message on the importance of the Spirit of Truth. So on that day 
instead of concentrating on infilling of the Holy Spirit on the Church, 
people were led (by their understanding) to pray. One of the points of 
prayer was peace in the world. Just ask yourself can we possibly have 
peace in the world? For that God will have to give us a new edition of 
the Bible for what is written cannot change. Now ask yourself was it God 
behind the World Prayer Day?

Another point of the World Prayer Day was to pray for Israel.

In the Bible there is a verse to pray for Jerusalem but no verse which 
says pray for Israel. I always ask people who are Israelites? Are 
Israelite people who habitats in the country Israel or those who hold 
valid citizenship of that country? Are Jews Israelites? What about 
Samarians people who were former Israel when the nation was split into 
Judah (Jews) and Israel (Samarians), are they not Israelites? Some would 
say those who are descendants of Jacob are called Israel. Now if you 
study Zoroastrian religion which believes in pure genealogy you would 
know how they are demising even after going into incest marriages. No 
outsider can become a Zoroastrian and any Zoroastrian marrying an 
outsider is automatically excommunicated from the clan. In the Bible 
many Prophets or Men of God married outsiders and their generations were 
considered Israelites.

Jews follow Judaism and Judaism is anti-Christ. They reject Christ and 
thus reject the Lord even they say they worship Him. Jesus, Paul and 
others have time and again pointed to the Jews that they were far for 
God and did not know Him. We find a new term Jewish-Christian it is same 
like Hindu-Christian. When a person become Christian he or is no longer 
follower of any traditions or belief, he or she is just Christian.

Our God is Lord of the World, every human from any and every country is 
His people when they turn to Him and are born again in Spirit. God is 
not God of flesh and bones which perish but He is God of the living 
which does not perish. He is Spirit and only those who live in the 
Spirit are His.

In my initial days when I read today scripture I would think in the way 
most people do how in the end days God is going to reconcile Israel 
through people outside; but then as God started giving me better 
understanding of His Kingdom I realized the whole world is His and every 
nation is His.

Woe unto us Christians if in the end days we land up like the Jews who 
earnestly awaited the sign of the Savior, the Heavenly King during the 
time of Jesus and even today they are still await for the Savior, since 
their desires are carnal and not according the Kingdom of God.

Lord You are God and You alone are God for there is no one other than 
You and this world and everything that exist is yours. Lord we pray we 
understand who You are in our lives and we enlarge our thinking and 
understanding of your Kingdom. We pray we do not be like the Jews who 
follow the text and perish. The text kills but Spirit gives life. Lord 
we pray we let your Spirit guide us to the true understanding of your 
Word so that we do not perish but have life...

Saints you have the authority

Psalm 149:6-9

6Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in 
their hand;

7To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;

8To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;

9To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his 
saints. Praise ye the LORD.

We as Christians are called to show the love and mercy of God, in other 
words show the nature of God like Jesus showed as man. Bible says in 
Christ we are forgiven of all our sins, but that does not mean God 
forgives all things and bears all things of every person.

Forgiveness is available to all but all do not receive it, only those 
who repent are forgiven. Christ died for all but all do not go to 
Heaven, only those who believe in Him and submit to His Spirit do. All 
are created by God but all are not His children, only those who have the 
seed of faith are [speak the language of faith]. Even among those who 
enter Heaven, all do not have the same status. Bible says 'many are 
called' it does not say 'all are called' so it is referring to a sub 
set. It also says from that 'many' a very small group stated as 'few' 
are selected / elected. So among all that believe in God there are few 
who are truly faithful.

God does believe in equality and loves everyone the same when they are 
in Him; that is why Bible says 'in Christ' there is no condemnation. So 
if John referred to himself as 'the one whom He loved' so can each and 
every one of us who believes in Christ. Even those who are not in Christ 
can say the same until He comes again to judge that is if they are alive 
then [since those who do not believe in Him are already judged and 
condemned to Hell on their death, since Adam and his generations were 
cursed to dust not just in body but also in spirit].

Today's message tells us those who are the Saints [Faithful ones] of God 
have authority to do the following.

To execute vengeance upon the heathen

To bring punishment upon the people

To bind their kings with chains

To bind their nobles with fetters of iron

The word heathen means 'people', it is a generic term but in the Bible 
usually used for those who were non Hebrew means not His people 
(symbolizes those do not speak His language of faith). It does not speak 
of personal vengeance against these people but of God's vengeance since 
verse 9 says 'judgment written'.

Punishment upon the people (people who believe in God) does not mean 
punishment in sense of destruction; the Hebrew word means more of 
correction, like a teacher punishes. It speaks of Saints having 
authority to bring correction to God's people.

The Hebrew word 'chains' comes from the root word 'leap'. To bind their 
kings with chains does not mean to imprison them but means to quicken. 
Similarly with regards to the nobles being bond with the fetters of 
iron, the iron here symbolizes strength. You may wonder what the 
scripture is talking about.

Note the 'kings' and 'nobles' comes after the word 'people' and not 
after the word 'heathen'. It does not speak of kings and nobles of the 
heathens as one is normally led to think. The word 'kings' means 
'rulers' or 'people of authority' and word 'nobles' means 'honored ones' 
and speak of those set over the people of God.

Today's message says the Faithful of God have the authority to quicken 
God's judgment on the people of the world, they have authority to 
correct the people of God, they have authority to give increase to those 
set to administer the people of God and strengthen those who are honored 
or looked up [as example] by them.

Lord, You alone are God and Almighty. Your Word Lord says we all are one 
in You as a body and as parts of the one body. Even though we are all 
loved the same yet each one has a function and a mission according to 
the plans You have set. Lord we pray those who are the Elect, those who 
are called your Faithful may understand the authority they have in You. 
May they use their authority to quicken the coming of your Kingdom on 
earth...

Why Spirit of Truth is very important

Isaiah 52:3,4 For thus saith the LORD, Ye have sold yourselves for 
nought; and ye shall be redeemed without money. For thus saith the Lord 
GOD, My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the 
Assyrian oppressed them without cause.

When a Christian is asked why did God humble Himself and come as man to 
become a sacrifice for us? And almost all will say, so that we are 
forgiven of our sins. These are the name sake Christians who do not know 
Christ or His purpose.

Surely sin does not allow us to have any relationship with God but just 
by forgiveness of sins no one can be reconciled to God. Sin causes 
corruption and corruption breeds sin. So even though we are forgiven of 
our sins yet because of the corrupt nature within us we sin again. So 
for God to deal permanently with sin within us He needs to deal with 
corruption in us.

Corruption came into man due to doubt and lack of truth. Adam and Eve 
ate of the fruit of doubt. They ate of the Tree of good and evil, even 
after knowing all things that God created was good and there was no evil 
then other than Satan, and by eating the fruit they knew evil / Satan. 
After they ate the fruit of doubt they lost the Fruit of Truth and 
Righteousness and thus were hiding in bushes from a God who can see all, 
and they covered their nakedness even though they were naked before.

To return to God we need to be whole again and thus we need to receive 
the Fruit of Truth and Righteousness. The Fruit of Righteousness and 
Truth are not listed in the nine Fruits of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 
5:22-23) for man lost them and can only receive them from the Son and 
the Holy Spirit respectively as a gift. To receive this gift of 
Righteousness we need to have faith in the Son and to receive Truth we 
need to be led by the Spirit of Truth.

There are twelve Fruits of the Holy Spirit (Revelation 22:2, even the 
twelve gems on the breast plate of High Priest / stones Heaven is made 
of symbolize the Fruits of the Spirit), nine stated in Galatians are 
ones we can grow while the three in Ephesians 5:9 are gifts. God the Son 
gives us Righteousness, God the Spirit gives us Truth and God the Father 
gives us Holiness (when we enter Heaven / are married to the Son).

Coming back to the main question, the Lord came as man to pay the price 
of our sins to that we receive His Spirit and thus be reconciled to Him. 
That is why Jesus said unless we become His disciples [believe Him] and 
know the truth we will not be set free [free from corruption].

The Hebrew word Egypt means 'dual strait' symbolizing a person who is of 
God but living a life not of God, like the Israelites lived in Egypt 
worshipping even the gods of the Egyptians.

The Hebrew word Assyria means 'step' and symbolizes prosperity. The calf 
was a symbol of prosperity and we saw how the Israelites did to fear to 
worship the calf even when death was over their head and they knew God. 
Today also man would do anything to be prosperous in this world. 
Prosperity of this world is the anti of the prosperity of the Kingdom of 
God. Preachers today preach Prosperity Gospel which is like calf worship 
done by the Israelites. Jesus at times told people to give up all they 
have, sell it, give the money to the poor and follow Him. He did not 
tell that to all but to those who held on to things of this world. Jesus 
also said it is almost impossible for the rich to enter the Kingdom of God.

This may surprise you - Prosperity of the world is not a blessing. 
Prosperity of the world is oppression and more you get it more you will 
be oppressed. That does not mean Christians need to be poor people, or 
beggars. We Christian need to know what we need and anything extra we 
need to share with others. We Christians need to be overflowing vessels. 
Tithing is just a step to learn to overflow and teach ourselves Giving.

Today's message says man due to lack of knowledge of the Truth people 
are living in Egypt (living a dual life) and being oppressed by Assyria 
(prosperity). The only one who can free us from Egypt and Assyria is the 
Spirit of Truth. Jesus paid the price so that we could receive His 
Spirit – the Spirit of Truth. So let us who believe in Jesus Christ as 
our Savior surrender to His Spirit, be led by Him and thus become whole 
(Sons of God).

Truth cannot be learned but needs to be understood, that is why by 
studying the Bible one cannot know the Truth, it is only by living the 
Word of God and being led by His Spirit (who helps us live the Word) 
that we will know the Truth.

Lord When You created us we were made in your Image and were called 
Sons, but due to sin the image within us got corrupted. We were thrown 
out from your presence because corruption cannot exist before You. Lord 
You came as man and paid the price so that we could receive your Spirit 
and be whole again so as to come back in your presence. Lord we pray we 
grow in the Truth and come out of Egypt and be set free from Assyria...

The enemy shall be ashamed

Esther 6:12 And Mordecai came again to the king’s gate. But Haman hasted 
to his house mourning, and having his head covered.

All who have read the book of Esther would know the story of how her 
uncle Mordecai being a righteous person won favored in the eyes of king 
Ashasuerus the king of Persia under whose rule the Jews were. On the 
other hand Haman who was a favorite of the king and enemy of the Jews 
was put down and ashamed.

The book of Esther was not part of the Bible (OT) even during the time 
of Jesus but was included later so it is like an Apocrypha of the Jews. 
But unlike the Apocrypha of the Catholics this book does not induce any 
theological doctrines. It is just about the glorification of the victory 
and survival of the Jews through a great disaster. It can be read as 
other chronicle books of the OT. So if someone say the Bible has 65 or 
66 books, both answers would be right (incidentally the book of Isaiah 
has 65 or 66 chapters since the last is kind of repeated).

The OT is a shadow and we in Christ are the reality. If God would do 
such great things in the shadow then imagine what He is capable of doing 
in the light. Today God is saying if we walk in His ways of 
righteousness our enemies will eat the dust and will be ashamed before 
their very own. So do not live or change your life to please people but 
live your life to please God and God will make the kings / rulers of 
this world / your bosses / your leaders to favor you even if they do not 
like it.

The opposite is also true, when we forsake His ways we will be ashamed 
before our enemies.

are Alive at all times and You are in view and understanding of our

Lord will search with candles

Zephaniah 1:12-14

12And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem 
with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that 
say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

14The great day of the LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly,

bitterly.

Religions that do idolatry in reality believe in non-existing god/gods 
and thus create one with their own hands. Christianity is not a 
religion; it is about acknowledging the Living God but even in 
Christianity idolatry exists. In Christianity we see Catholics do 
idolatry and sadly they alone are not just the ones who do it. Believer 
Churches also do idolatry even if they do not make or bow or serve 
images or idols. As one moves from Catholic to a Believer who worships 
God in Spirit and Truth we find idolatry in varying proportions along 
this road.

One may wonder how is it possible to make idols and worship them when we 
have the Word of God which tells us the Truth. Today's message gives us 
an insight of why this happens. People think because God does not react 
immediately or judge immediately so people think God is ok with it, God 
understands, He is a comprising God.

Just some days back a Catholic who receives my messages (but with a 
hardened heart of 'I will die Catholic') was telling me God judges 
instantly and does not delay for He is a just God.

One may think he was speaking good and praising God, but if one discerns 
his actual meaning he was in other words saying in this world evil exist 
and God has done nothing so God will do nothing and evil will get away 
unpunished.

Let us remember Bible is full of prophecies and these prophecies have 
been set in its time. Like from day one God knew who will abide in His 
Will and wrote their names in the Book of Life so also God knew how much 
deep and wide evil would spread so He set barrier for it to not 
overflow. Bible also says what evil existed before is the same evil we 
see today but it is only in a different form. Also since population has 
increased and communication improved we hear of more evil and hear it 
quicker.

One will find the belief of balance of good and bad which exist in 
spiritualism religion (believing in spirits of nature) / polytheism 
religions also exist in monotheist religions which believe in a god / 
God. Take case of Islam or Catholicism, they believe sin has to be paid 
its price some or other way even though they speak of forgiveness of 
sins, that is why they believes in penance and Catholicism has a concept 
known as Purgatory.

One may think these people are trying to acknowledge good and bad and 
are trying to overcome evil. That is not true, they are instead trying 
to justify evil and continue in it. What they are really doing is saying 
God punishes evil and since He has not punished evil like what we do, so 
He is okay with it. That is why they do not fear to do evil or continue 
in it.

Today God is telling the so called Christians [others are already 
judged] who think God's hands are short, that time is at hand He will 
soon search the hearts and thoughts of His people like a man searches 
with candles or torch and He is going to punish them like one would not 
imagine.

Lord God one of the Names You are described by is Slow to Anger. Lord 
You are a Righteous God yet You are a Merciful God. You hate evil but 
You love man whom You have created in your Image. In your mercy Lord, 
You have given sinful man time and all the help to come out of evil so 
that man does not get consumed with it. We pray Lord these people walk 
up and their eyes open to know You and that they repent from their ways 
and be saved from your wrath...

For His Name sake and Covenant sake

Jeremiah 14:20-22

20We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our 
fathers: for we have sinned against thee.

21Do not abhor us, for thy name's sake, do not disgrace the throne of 
thy glory: remember, break not thy covenant with us.

22Are there any among the vanities of the Gentiles that can cause rain? 
or can the heavens give showers? art not thou he, O LORD our God? 
therefore we will wait upon thee: for thou hast made all these things.

When the summer started in India I was given a warning (vision) of this 
being a crazy summer (humans going crazy), in the very next 2 days I saw 
in papers in a place in the suburbs of Mumbai police were on the streets 
due to people rioting for water. We have read after that the way things 
were in many villages, some villages banded marriages for this summer. 
Some villages were half emptied since people moved out for the sake of 
water so that they could survive. Some villages we saw people did not 
bath for 8 days and if they did it was like mopping not bathing.

We heard after some time Church leaders and their congregations came 
together and prayed hard and then we saw immediately relieve came, with 
rains starting in those areas. Everyone is now happy that they prayed 
and the Lord answered, but none want to find out why in the first place 
this happened. Do things happen without the Lord being in control?

If we remember we received our first warning 14th Feb, another on 9th 
March and the 14th Feb message was repeated on 17th April of how the Men 
of God were projecting a wrong image of God to the people so as to 
please them.

Today God is telling us the cause of this drought was the leaders 
themselves who angered God, but yet for His Name sake and the sake of 
His Covenant His mercy gave way.

Let us understand who we are in Christ. The world can be as evil as it 
wants but if we are rooted in the Lord and walk in His ways the world 
and its people are safe, but the day we shake spiritually and forsake 
the Lord's ways, this world will see the wrath of God.

Like Moses stood between the people and God's wrath we too stand between 
this evil world and God's wrath, so not only for our own sake but also 
for the sake of others who do not know God let us Men of God stand in Him.

The anger of God is like His Word

Jeremiah 23:20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have 
executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the 
latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

We always state the scripture of Isaiah 55:11 how the Word of God sent 
by the Lord will not return to Him without doing what it has been set to 
do, but none speak of the anger which like His Word will never return 
without doing what it was set to do.

God hates sin, His anger is against sin and sin will perish at the end. 
Who so ever is in sin will also perish for His anger will destroy sin 
and everything connected to it. But since He loves us, He did not hold 
back in any way to help us to come out of sin so that we live and are 
blessed in Him.

Today's scripture talks of another thing that angers God and that is 
false or maligned prophecy. Here we are not talking just of false Men of 
God who are not Christians (or associated with God's name). God says 
there were people who call themselves His representative and speak in 
His name saying things which He has not said. His anger is not only 
against these false representatives but also against those who are His 
representatives and due to various reasons twist His Word just to please 
people and gain pleasure of the carnal flesh / soul.

Yesterday I heard peaching at Sunday Service which was half Christian 
and half Hinduism or Chinese philosophy (yin yang) that believes in 
balance of good and bad. What angered me was not just the ignorance or 
lack of scriptural knowledge of the preacher but also of those hearing 
it. The people swallowed the bones along with the chicken. The spirit 
that does not discern but accepts all things is symbolized as a pig and 
God says this spirit is an unclean spirit; people having such unclean 
spirits will not experience Him or dwell in His presence.

We forget scriptures like Jeremiah 23:29 where God says isn't my Word 
fire or a hammer that breaks rocks. His Word is required to purify us by 
burning that which is not of Him in us, His Word is like a hammer that 
breaks falsehood in us.

People find my messages hard or strong for I give which I receive from 
the Lord. They ask me to soften the message and reflect more of the 
mercy and compassion of God. Is God compassionate and His Word 
uncompassionate?

God's Word is a sword that not against us but against sin and sin 
nature. If we do not want to come out of the sin nature then can we 
expect God's sword not to hurt us? Jesus said the Father is Husband of 
the Vineyard who cuts us off from the vine of Adam and prunes us into 
the true vine which is Christ. At the end all that is not in the vine 
which is Christ will be cut and put in the fire. Now if we do not want 
to be disconnected from the old vine can we escape the fire? Can we 
bridge the old vine to the vine of Christ?

Lord your Word is like a double edge sword that splits the bone from the 
marrow, it spits that old character from the spirit. Like your Word your 
anger too is holy and it will not return back void, without doing what 
it is set against. Lord we pray we understand how fearful it is to fall 
in the hands of the Living God, we pray your Representatives be honest 
to your Word and speak as it is given unto them, that they do not invoke 
judgment on them...

Be poor and be a prey

Psalms 10:9 He lieth in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lieth in 
wait to catch the poor: he doth catch the poor, when he draweth him into 
his net.

Today's message talking of how the wicked preys on the poor like a 
hungry lion consumes its prey. The scripture is not talking of those who 
are financially poor but about those who are spiritually poor.

When we are not spiritually strong / mature we are available preys to 
the wicked. Note in today's message it says the wicked is like a hungry 
lion hiding in its den. So for the poor to become a prey of the wicked 
it needs to go near the den, if it does not go near the den then it is 
safe. The scripture also says the wicked draws the prey towards its den 
using deceiving ways (net). So for the poor it is not just about making 
up one's mind of not going near the den but also of actively discerning 
things so as to not fall to the tricks the wicked uses to draw it 
towards its den.

What is very interesting is as I was studying today's scripture I 
checked the meaning of the word poor. I found it comes from the root 
word which means to be occupied or to be busy.

Each and every person who is on the journey to become like Christ 
(definition of a Christian) is a growing person. That means if we have 
decided to be Christian, we like it or not we will grow spiritually. The 
only things that can stop us from growing is us. That does not mean we 
reject Christ but means we get ourselves busy with things, even if they 
may be 'Christian' things.

A person poor in spirit means a person who is busy with the world or 
worldly things and lacks time for his or she spirit.

God is telling us if we do not want to be a prey to the wicked then 
remove time for the worldly things we are busy with. When we say we do 
not have time it means we are nearing the den of the wicked one and we 
will any time land up being prey to him.

Today God is telling us to ask ourselves how much time we give to our 
spiritual growth in the Lord. If we are not internally growing then we 
are spiritually poor and if we are spiritually poor it would not be long 
that we will become prey to the wicked one.

Tomorrow when we fall into calamity do not look up and ask God why? But 
ask ourselves why did I not remove time for myself?

Lord in the Bible You call yourself a Morning Star, also You Lord ask 
for the first fruits. Lord we pray we understand their meaning. We pray 
we give You Lord the best part of our day which is the early morning. 
Help us Lord to spend time with You and your Word early morning, the 
time the Manna fell so that we get nourished and do not be poor and prey 
to the wicked...

Heart of the Mother

Luke 24:10 It was Mary Magdalene, and Joanna, and Mary the mother of 
James, and other women that were with them, which told these things unto 
the apostles.

Jesus was surrounded by the 12 chosen disciples who were Apostles (in 
Calling), His other disciples (those who believed in Him) and a team of 
women which included His own mother. Most people talk of the Apostles 
but if you look at scriptures through the four Gospels you will find the 
times when the Apostles and other disciples gave up on Jesus it was the 
women who did not.

When Jesus was crucified and all the Apostles fled as prophesied, we see 
these women followed Him through His ordeal and right unto the crucifix 
when He hung from it. People think the Apostle were there at the foot of 
the crucifix when Jesus hung from it and Jesus spoke to John the 'one 
whom He loved' but that is not true, it is not written that this person 
was John. As per prophecy the Apostles fed and were hiding until the 
women found them and told them that too after Jesus' resurrection. You 
will not find any of their names written after the incident of Peter who 
even though denied Him thrice sis actually dared to follow before 
fleeing like them.

These women were not perfect yet they showed incredible courage. Each 
one of them showed great flaws this included Jesus' own mother who in 
between was shaken when people accused Jesus of having an evil spirit so 
came running with her son to see if Jesus was okay, this angered Jesus. 
Mary Magdalene who loved Jesus the most (since she was forgiven the 
most) too was very concentrated on doing pagan (Egyptian) rituals 
followed by Jews from Galilee of embalming the body on the third day 
like they did to Lazarus (who was actually mummified that is why his 
bringing back to life shocked everyone) and for which all the women sat 
and prepared the spices and ointments. Salome wife of Zebedee and sister 
of Mary (also called as Mary) was part of Jesus' dedicated team. She was 
more bothered of her sons doing great in the ministry of Jesus than 
anything else.

You will note one thing, there were many Marys in Jesus' group and 
leaving for His mother the others were given this name as a nick name 
(called by the name Mary). Bible does say Jesus gave them this name but 
when you understand the meaning of the name it will be without doubt who 
gave them this name. The name is not actually a good name for it comes 
from the Hebrew word Mariam which means 'bitter'. No person would change 
the name of a person having name 'peace' to 'bitter' unless there is a 
reason behind it and the reason as I believe Jesus honoured her as His 
own mother. Mary Magdalene having a great history would not have been 
young women. Theologians believe she was the woman who was saved from 
being stoned (this incident was not part of the origin Gospels 
manuscripts but was added in the later manuscripts). She was not the 
only prostitute in town or woman having much adultery linked to her. She 
was selected for she being of age was disposable.

Today is Mother's Day and God also wants us to honour our mothers even 
though they may not be perfect. Like the courage of these women we too 
can recall the courage and dedication our own mothers. So let us bless 
them for all they have done and pray for they wellbeing in the future.

which in Hebrew means the possessiveness of a mother. Even though in 
spirit we are one yet You made woman so that we can understand things 
which hidden. We ask You lord to bless our mothers and keep them in You...

The punishment of Aholah Samaria

Ezekiel 23:10 These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her 
daughters, and slew her with the sword: and she became famous among 
women; for they had executed judgment upon her.

In the Bible Israel was split into two Israel (northern part) and Judah 
(the southern part). The capital of Israel (northern part) was Samaria 
(means 'watch mountains' but refers to the rocky mountains which 
symbolize little or many truths and not the Truth which is one) and the 
capital of southern part was Jerusalem. The people of the northern part 
were started to be known as Samarian and the southern part as Jews, thou 
this was not geographically defined but religiously defined. In the OT 
the northern people were always defying the Word of God and following 
traditions of people under the name of religion. Galilee was in the 
northern part and one of the most cosmopolitan hubs at that time since 
it was a very active business port and due to this, traditions fused 
together and thus it is written could a Prophet come from Galilee. 
During the time of Jesus although the territories were one yet the 
identity of Samarian and Jew remained even though both were Israel. 
Today Samarians are not considered Israel but only Jews are.

Like the OT is the shadow so also all this is a shadow of the Church of 
God. The false Church of God has two daughters one is the Jewish Church 
identified as northern part Samaria or Aholah and the Church which Paul 
said is the spirit of Anti-Christ known as Aholibah or Jerusalem or 
Sodom. Revelation also calls it as Babylon the Great. We identify this 
Church from its flagship Church which is the Catholic Church.

Aholah means her own tent and the Jewish Church in the name of God made 
man made laws known by them as Law of Moses since they had no wisdom and 
followed the letter but not the understanding. Since they followed the 
letter and were confused they added things to the law and made it worse. 
Jesus said the Jews never knew God or understood His Word. When Paul 
said the Law kills he was referring to the Law of Moses / Jews and when 
he said Law gives life he was referring to the Law of God. In Acts we 
read how Stephen exposed them and thus they stoned him to death.

Aholibah means the tent in the woman. The difference between the first 
and second is the second has made herself god. If you study Catholicism 
you will find the Catholic Church and the prime things of this Church 
like the Pope or its chief deity Mary or its traditions are worshiped as 
god / goddess. Ezekiel also uses the term Sodom for this Church, Sodom 
means burning and refers to lust. From the time this Church started it 
is full of lust and if one goes into the records of doings of its early 
Popes our today's criminal will look like saints before them.

Ezekiel states both are daughters of the Harlot (False Church) with the 
younger being worse than the elder. They were called to be bride of God 
but they both went whoring after idols.

When praying I got toady's message which talks of the sons and daughters 
of Aholah being killed that too on a day known as Holocaust Day for on 
this day about 6 million Jews were killed.

Yesterday a brother into Apologetics was asking me who according to you 
is the worse religion. He was expecting me to say Islam but then he was 
surprised when I said those closest to God / who know Him and yet deny 
Him; spiritual evil is worse than physical evil. Jesus said do not fear 
them that hurt the body. So that puts the Catholics and Jews into the 
worse category. So saving one of them is greater than saving a Muslim.

God has given this message today more as a warning of what is store 
ahead (we see part of it has already started). Bible says the punishment 
of Aholibah would be worse than that of Aholah. If the Jews went through 
great suffering as if today then imagine what is in store for the 
Catholic Church and its denominations like the Orthodox Churches.

and their eyes open that they may flee from her and be saved from the

The wonder Prophet of the OT

2 Kings 4:36 And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he 
called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.

When I see great TV Evangelist, Miracle workers, Healers or Prophets 
today I remember the Prophet Elisha of the OT. There is no Prophet in 
the OT who matches Elisha when it comes to miracles; he even made Moses 
and Elijah look like juniors.

Elijah has 14 miracles /wonders to his credit (as listed in OT) while 
Elisha has 28 miracles/wonders. Among the things Elisha did include 
parting the river Jordan, bringing dead to life, multiplying bread, 
floating iron over water, manifesting the Heavenly Army of Angels, 
healing the sick, blinding a whole army and then restoring their sight. 
What is interesting is even though we have this man with so many wonders 
to his credit yet not once did Jesus mention his name. In fact we see he 
was indirectly rebuked.

Who was Elisha?

Elisha was a disciple of Elijah. He followed Elijah and received his 
double anointing from Elijah. Elisha was a magnification of Elijah or 
enlarged Elijah.

Last time I mentioned of the authority of Hand of Moses' / 'Chair of 
Moses' and the 'Spirit of Elijah'. I mentioned of Moses being the Mary 
of the Catholic Church to the Jews. Something I missed mentioning, like 
Catholics believe that Mary did not bodily die, some Jews believe Moses 
also did not bodily die but experienced assumption (noted in the 
Apocrypha of the Jews). Jews read the OT unlike the Catholics therefore 
do not make images of Moses and worship / give reverence to it like 
Catholics do to Mary but they face the wall of Jerusalem and pray. Also 
like Catholics say prayers on beads (Rosary) Jews instead use leather 
strap to bond their hands and pray (they misquote scriptures to justify 
this).

Spirit of Elijah is a rather deeper topic and it is only by 
understanding it that one will understand why John the Baptist lived a 
life of repentance in the desert and was the best candidate to preach it 
(Elijah came back as John the Baptist as per prophecy). Understand 
repentance is what one does for one's self and no man can repent for 
another. John was no criminal or evil person before his ministry to go 
into a life of repentance; it was this fact why people could not 
understand John's lifestyle.

Even though Elijah was praised as being among the greatest Prophets yet 
he also was the only one rebuked by Jesus. When Jesus' disciples asked 
Jesus to curse and bring fire on the people and consume them for 
rejecting Him like Elijah did, Jesus asked them, what kind of spirit did 
they think He had?

We need to understand how so much ever miracles we may do or operate in 
the highest anointing but if there is no love, mercy and compassion in 
us then all this great work is useless before God. Let us not be like 
Moses or Elijah the two misused Prophets or Prophets who were led to 
make mistakes by the praising and glorification of the people.

Lord, You alone are God. Lord the most important and valuable thing for 
You which You lift up above yourself is your Name. You Lord would never 
let your Name be let down. You are perfect and Holy and none can point 
to You for any type of evil. We pray we do not pursue greatness by 
miracle, prophecy, healings, knowledge or any kind of gifts but above 
all pursue your Name. Let us be known your people by your Name...

What can happen to me?

Jeremiah 13:22 And if thou say in thine heart, Wherefore come these 
things upon me? For the greatness of thine iniquity are thy skirts 
discovered, and thy heels made bare.

There is always the question - the world is so evil and they do so many 
terrible things and I am not so bad, I do wrong but not as much as them, 
so if they do so much evil and God does nothing to them then why would 
God bother about me? He is merciful He understands.

In today's message we see the Israelites called themselves God's people 
and God did appoint them to be His people but even after knowing Him 
they worshipped idols, blasphemed God and let His Name down. In this 
scripture we see God tells them that their bottoms will be exposed 
meaning they will be ashamed and the will be found bare feet meaning 
they will experience hardship in life. The Jewish Targum [meaning 
interpretation of scriptures] states it as 'because thy sins are 
multiplied, thy confusion is revealed, thy shame is seen.'

Understand at times the farmer lets the weeds grow among his harvest for 
by removing them it may harm his crop. But if his crop are rotting or 
getting spoiled he would not have the same attitude as he had to the 
weeds, he will do something to the crop and if he realizes there is no 
fruitfulness in saving the crop, he will cut both and destroy them.

We need to know we are the purpose of this world and God's eyes are 
focused on us. He wants us to be the light of the world and overcome 
darkness. But if we do not do the things we are created for then what is 
the purpose of our existence in this world? Would not God at least show 
what He does to them that deny Him or do things that He hates? He will 
at least make an exhibit of those who have fallen off the path more than 
those who have never known the path so that the next generation fears 
Him and walks in Him ways, like He did with the Israelites in the desert.

Lord, when darkness came into existence You created us to be the light 
that shines in the darkness and which overcomes the darkness. Even when 
man sinned You still cursed evil and said man will crush its head and 
You came as man to enable and lead man to crush the head of evil. You 
Lord are slow to anger and You time and again give us a chance, but when 
we harden our hearts it angers You and causes You to make an exhibit of 
us. You do not like to punish but then your love causes You to chastise 
your children. We pray Lord we do not become like the Israelites who 
became so stiff-necked that their names were not found...

Tamar the wife of Judah

Matthew 1:3 And Judas [Judah] begat Phares and Zara of Thamar [Tamar]; 
and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

We have many former Muslims who have accepted Christ after they studied 
the character of Mohammad and compared it with the character of Jesus. 
They have seen through their own scriptures how their prophet was a man 
full of sexual desires and a person who did not have any dignity or 
values to justify his pervert, deprave sexual desires in the name of 
Allah a character whom he created.

Some of them include his marriage to a six year old girl Aisha and his 
sexual relationship with her when she was nine years old. People think 
he waited till she grew up of age (according to the traditions at that 
time) to have relationship with her, but that is false. He married her 
and desired to have relationship with her when she was yet six but since 
she suffered for a rash on her head and he feared he would get it, he 
waited for three year (but during this time he still molested her). 
Another of his pervert ventures was his marriage to his own daughter in 
law Zaynab (married to Zayd ibn Harithah, a person he considered as his 
own son), who was so beautiful that he could not take his eyes off her. 
Mohammad had set as taboo to have relationship with close family members 
so he was deprived by his own law to marry or have relationship with his 
daughter in law. So as usual in the name of his Allah he claimed that 
Allah made all women legal for him to marry and even the numbers were 
not restricted for him unlike for others officially four (unofficially 
they too can have more under temporary contract or as slaves). So he 
first made his son to divorce his wife and then he got married to her. 
The concept of Hijab (Burka) came afterwards when other people started 
starring at his wives (mainly Zaynab who was very beautiful and whom he 
himself used to stare at before he married her).

Why am I talking of this today. Like the story Mohammad and Zaynab we 
have a story in the Bible and that too in the genealogy of Jesus, we 
have the story of Judah and Thamar. Was Judah like Mohammad?

Let us understand the background to understand why this happened. Tamar 
was the daughter in law of Judah married to Er his first son. But since 
Er who was wicked he was killed by the Lord and he did not have children 
so as per the belief of the Israelites the brother had to marry his 
widow sister in law and have children else she would be termed as cursed 
since any married woman without child would be termed as cursed of God. 
Also the children out of this relationship would legally not be his own 
but of his deceased brother. So Judah’s other son Onan marries Tamar and 
he has relationship with her but then Onan realizes the child would not 
be his thus he does not allow her to conceive. This angered God and Onan 
too was killed.

Judah then promises Tamar the marriage of his younger son Shelah who at 
that time was not of age, so she had to wait for him to be off age. But 
when Shelah was of age Judah does not remember or fulfill his promise 
(it is not written why he did not do it).

There comes an incident when one of Judah’s daughters dies and he was 
full of grief. Around that time he goes out rearing his sheep. Tamar to 
take revenge and protect her dignity removes her widow’s clothes, goes 
out and sits on the pathway of her father in law covering her face like 
a harlot. Judah, being full of grief requests the harlot if he could 
have relationship with her and she agrees on certain condition of 
repayment. Later when Judah goes to fulfill his dues towards her he does 
not find her. It is after three months of Tamar conceiving twins from 
her relationship that Judah comes to know that it was Tamar who played 
the Harlot. Initially Judah goes to kill Tamar for deceiving him but 
then realizes he had failed to keep his promise so does not.

We need to note Judah had not willingly had relationship with Tamar but 
was deceived by her. Tamar to protect her dignity deceived her father in 
law so as to become a mother. We may feel very awful that the Lord Jesus 
Christ allowed such an incident and that too among his genealogy but it 
is only when one goes by the deeper understanding of the belief at that 
time that one realizes that this was not a taboo as it would be 
considered now.

The law of incest being a taboo came later to this incident by the hand 
of Moses, before that we have many cases like Abraham and Sahara (who 
was his niece) or even Adam and Eve (who was made of his own rib), even 
the sons of Adam married their own sister (who are not named) to 
reproduce and multiply as commanded by the Lord.

Secondly a marriage is considered complete only when the woman bears a 
child. That is why Israelites had the custom of the brother marrying his 
sister in law in case her husband dies and they did not have a child.

Lord You are God, You are True and Your Word is True. You and your Word, 
Lord are eternal and do not change for what is perfect cannot be 
bettered. In your Word all things are set plain and have not been 
changed across time to please man or the limited understanding of man.

brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

25Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had 
married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his 
brother:

26Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

27And last of all the woman died also.

28Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? 
for they all had her.
