Considering Abortion?

I was born 3 months early and weighed 1 pound and 15 ozs
and went down to 1 and 8 ozs.
When I came home a week later I contracted pneumonia and was
pronounced DOA when they took me back to the hospital.
My eyes were clear at first and first one, and then the
other cloded over and I was totally never having remembered
seeing.
I went to the school for the blind in Kansas City till I was
in high school and then came back to go to public school to
be main streamed in with sighted folks and graduated in
1971.
I grew up as a pastor's daughter and walked the aisle many
times but always had doubts and was not sure I was going to
heaven.
And the movie "Theif in the night" scared me spitless and at
night I would wake up and hear soldiers pounding on my door
and I'd cover my head and hear them say hand, or forehead.
I lived with this until August 2001
on the 15th was when my life changed forever here's how it
happened.
I was tired of listening to music on the radio and at time
I could get AM. radio a bit and switched over to
conservitive talk radio and those choices were Rush
Limbaugh,
G Gordon Liddy
but I turned it on one day a bit earlier than usual
and caught a man I had never heard before.
His name was Neal Boortz
and his topic for the day
was
"how to keep stupid people from breeding"
and at first I thought he said breathing!
I was already hot from the get-go
but as I kept listening I because inraged and more mad.
He told how wellfare folks ought to be in different lines at
the grocery store and have to get inferior foods and live on
beans and not take up the regular folks lines and time for
their stupid food stamps.
By this time,
had I been able to see much less straight I would have not
been able to see straight!
Then he told a lady when he found out she was going to have
a baby when her husband earned 6 dollars an hour
that she and he were loosers
and she said "I don't do abortions"
and he made fun of the way she talked.
I shot off an Email to him and tried in my own feeble way to
get him removed from the radio.
But I had little or no support and some said I shouldn't pay
any attention to shock jocks
and that even made me even angerier and I went to bed for 3
days with a raging head ache and sick to mystomach.
Then I was given a CD for choir practice and this CD was a
worship CD by Don Moen and this CD changed my life.
I realized then, I needed to make Jesus Lord of me and all I
own that that was the missing piece of the puzzle.
I had the head knowledge but it hadn't found my heart yet.
I prayed, I wanted to bow my knees and fall on my face at
unexpected times just to praise and worship my God.
I smiled more,
I actually felt where folks were could be in their skin so
to speak
and I even got bold enough to say good morning and smile at
staff at work.
My life has not been the same sense I am totally different.
I write letters from presidents on down telling them I'm
praying and encouraging them and I love to write just
letters of encouragement and pray with folks.
And Neal Boortz?
I wrote an appology Email to him.
Now I am not Ni'eve enough to think he got either letter,
but it made me feel better.
August 15th, 2001 will be a day I'll always remember
and giving God me and control of all I have and everyone I
touch has been the best move I have made all my life long.
And seeing?
Nah, I don't care
cause the very first face I'll see is Jesus's face and what
he has prepared for us in our knew home and that is the way
I want it.
Oh yes I'd like to drive and stuff,
but making me dependant upon God and others so I can be in
their world
probably was the best move God could have made for me.
